Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Alexandria Governorate

Eastern Al Montazah was modern with comfortable, well-furnished rooms, a private pool, hidden away from passers-by, and an on-site restaurant. Their staff was very kind and professional!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay here. We stayed in the Royal Suite and it was so spacious and comfortable and clean. Our balcony opened right up onto the pool area. The staff were lovely and accommodating, especially Mina George in the restaurant. The food was delicious and such good value for money. Good location to all the sights. Would stay again!

Extraordinary staff, very gentle and polite, they changed my room from city view to pool view without me to ask them, when they found it available. The place is clean and neat, rooms are highly cheque and stylish, we ready needed not to leave the place

The room was spacious, clean, and balcony straight to the pool. All staff were super helpful and nice - special mention to Nour and Esraa. Will definitely come back here next time. Felt like a home away from home.

Excellent two-bedroom villa. Very well appointed rooms and very spacious, including fully equipped kitchen and spacious living and dining space. Sizeable and attractive private pool and spacious manicured lawn outside, overlooking the beautiful private beach of the hotel, and the Mediterranean Sea on the horizon, with lovely sunsets.

This place was truly amazing. Aside from the top notch luxury of the hotel, it’s wonderful to be right in the middle of the city while having a completely quiet private beach and different pools to choose from. Mall right in the hotel for shopping, Food was great and so was the staff at the fish restaurant, Moustafa, Malala, Yara, and Nivine. Also the bar by the salt water pool by the beach was such a nice place to hang out at with great service, Ramy Zaky, Ibrahim and Martina and all the staff there made us feel so welcome, comfortable, and having the best time while there. Their kindness, professionalism, and pleasant demeanor really made us fall in love with the hotel even more. My family and I decided after this trip that this spot will be our yearly summer vacation spot. It surpassed our expectations and anywhere we went to before. Keep up the great work

The rooms were extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless and well-maintained. At the reception, there was a gentleman with glasses who stood out for being incredibly helpful and professional. Special mention to Yousef Alaa Elsayed, the lifeguard at the pool. He was always attentive, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his job. You could immediately feel his presence, always alert, approachable, and ready to assist without hesitation. Yousef went above and beyond. He made the pool area feel welcoming and safe. He’s a true asset to the hotel team. The restaurant food was another highlight, and the team there deserves credit for their attitude: warm, polite, and hardworking.

Pay a bit more to have a room overlooking the sea. It's definitely worth it. The outdoors pool is a memorable experience as it overlooks the beach. In season, one may also use the hotel's private beach. In winter, the indoors pool and spa are fun. Breakfast is very good, but I expect more from Four Seasons. The staff is excellent.

Saline pool was great idea Kareem from the pool bar was very attending, helpful and soooo kind. Last not least Juliana smile And great service made our breakfast experience to remember despite quality of the food.

The hotel staff were really friendly. The swimming pool is excellent and the beach is so close and well kept. The rooms were excellent. The hotel is situated in a compound. To get in for the first time a small fee is required. This needs to be made clearer. I would recommend this hotel as it is a very well run establishment frequented mainly by Egyptians.

Very beautiful property with a nice location. For people who wish to have a quiet time off, this is the best spot with a beautiful view, calm atmosphere, lovely pool and private beach. The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. My room was very clean and the food at the hotel is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel and will surely return back.

I loved my room overlooking the pool. My favorite part of this hotel: I could walk right to the beach. I loved the ocean water and the comfort of going back to my room with ease. The surrounding area was nice too, with coffee shops and stores. I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice boutique hotel right on the Corniche of Alexandria, a short walk to where the action is and a little longer, yet still doable walk to the Citadel of Qaitbay. Easy to find if you have looked it up before on the map. A bit small, but that is normal for that type of hotels. Very friendly and warm staff, right from the man who greets you at the entrance to the building. Our room was also on the small side, but had everything we needed for a one night stay. All was clean, modern, and functional. Tasty and plentiful breakfast was served to the room at the agreed time. The place to park the car in the underground garage was a big value added service, especially with the lack of free space outside of the building. Strongly recommend. The room was very cute, and the fact that each room of the hotel had a theme was amazing. Even though the size of the room is small as informed, it was very well organised and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We got breakfast in bed, which was for very reasonable price and was quite good. The location is close to the main road. Our room was facing a building under construction, but that was not a problem for us as we had the intention of visiting the city instead. There was no noise or any other inconveniences. I totally recommend it. PS: Finding a clean hotel in Cairo and Alexandria was a struggle, but we were lucky with this one.

Amazing… even though I couldn’t get a see view room and stayed in 2 different rooms with no view or Sun light at all but rooms themselves and the service I really liked. Their breakfast also was good and better than my expectations. I would definitely recommend and repeat it again!

The staff were so nice and helpful. The room decoration was wonderful. Good location and surrounded by everything. The room was small and cosy with positive vibes. I got tired and they were so good they asked about me and provided me with hot drinks. Finally, you feel you are at home.

So first of all I really have to give it to the amazing staff. Menna and Adham for really patiently taking my calls before I had even arrived in Egypt. They arranged a really nice shuttle service from Cairo to Alexandria and that made my day hassle free. Batool for organising really nice tours, especially the one to Rasheed. The tour guide was very informative and patient. I would recommend that tour to anyone who wants to see real Egypt. Omar is a really nice person and also very very assisting in nature. One of the staff members really came to my assistance when I had to go to the hospital with emergency. All of them together are a great team. Very communicative and non judgemental people. The breakfast was really good. The help staff of the hostel is a very sweet and friendly lady. I made couple of friends here and my time in the hostel was indeed very comfortable and easy going. My stay at Ithaka Hostel was really wonderful. I was a bit skeptical initially about staying in a hostel generally but I decided to take a leap of faith when I read reviews of guests. I'm glad I really did! The staffs are all amazing! Merna, Astraka, Ragad and Batulla ( I hope I got the spelling of their names correctly 😅), you guys are the best! I also made new friends from all over the world! I was initially supposed to stay for just 3 days but I had to extend my stay to another 4 days because Ithaka really felt like home. The hostel is located at the city centre and everywhere you need to go is in close proximity. Alexandria is really an amazing place to visit if you are ever in Egypt and the best place to stay when in Alex is definitely here! I hope to be back again 😊 Tobi from Nigeria

Place was superb. Fits the price. When going to Alex, I always knew I had to sacrifice comfort for price, but this hostel proved me wrong. Staff are nice. Common working spot is really cool and chill, i spent a lot of time there on my laptop. It is always pleasant meeting other guests from different parts of the world. Breakfast was nice as well, eggs and falafel or foul and a cup of coffee which gives you enough fuel to start your day. Location is really nice and close to everything you might need. Wi-Fi is good relative to the Egyptian standards, if you are a foreigner used to the Wi-Fi outside Egypt, you may experience some difficulties. Comfy beds with mini lamps and plugs to charge your phone while sleeping. If I am going to Alex again, will definitely be staying there.

The bed, sheets, and blankets were clean and comfortable. There was a small drawer you can lock, which helped me to keep my belongings. Also, a small bedside lamp was useful to spend my time relaxed even after the main light in the domitory room was turned off. About the staff were very kind people. Whenever I ask them about something, they replied to me in such a nice manner. Thanks to them and this hostel, I was able to enjoy my first visit to Alexandria. I’m so grateful from the bottom of my heart.

This hostel really exceeded my expectations. I loved the vibe, the people, the location… and most of all, the staff is so welcoming! Hams, Merna and everybody else really made me feel welcome (like everyone in Alexandria ❤️) There’s a common room where you can meet and get to know other travelers. Breakfast is served there with falafel, sweets, cheese… The hostel is open 24/7, perfect to enjoy Alexandria’s nightlife ! I can’t thank them enough. And I will be back here for sure 😉

Helpful staff, safety of the facility, super clean housekeeping, good food and a variety of restaurants on the premises. Gym, playroom, kids zone, pool, private beach. I would label it a resort!

At first it was just the location, near Le Corniche, stunning sea view, in front of a beautiful mosque, and most importantly, close to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina where I'm doing some research studies and go there everyday by foot. And last, but not least, the fabuluos staff: Asma, Sylvie, Mahmud, Omar, Esraa, Mariam, and my adopted mum, the great Shafelia Obmodonia, a force of nature! They're friendly, helpful, caring...adorable! I love you all ❤️ The building is in shatters, very, very old, although there are 3 lifts, one or two won't work properly, but the maintenance staff are repairing them every single day and they are amazing workers, Mohamed, Ibrahim...thank you guys!

The staff are friendly and the hotel is super clean. The view was exceptional. Bringing the breakfast to the room felt like being royal 😍. The room was super clean and felt really cozy. Every room has amazing views, clean room, good bathroom, good bed. Everything works fine. The staff is attentive. The rooms are bright, have high ceilings with windows and balcony, also black out to cover the light. Good internet, great location. Good sleep. 🖖🏽 In the center of museums, restaurants. Great value.

Very good hotel for the category of 4 stars in Egypt. Most other 4 stars hotels are not the same. In spite of old building in tiny street but hotel room has all new amenities to the standard. Staff are so cooperative the fat man in reception and the young lady in kitchen. Good internet and air conditioning and fridge and heater in bathroom.

This is a family run hotel with wonderful staff who looked after me very well. The rooms are a generous size particularly as I was on my own. The hotel is situated in the old part of the city. It is easy to get around - I walked everywhere. This really is a glorious ruin of a city. Fab architecture that is literally crumbling. And very inexpensive compared to Western prices. As a Westerner you need to be prepared for a very different experience. There is a simple breakfast each morning and hot tea was offered whenever I came in from my walks. Aircon was available in the room.and the bed was comfortable. There is no top sheet provided but a rug was on the bed for overnight drop in temperatures. The bathroom was quite adequate with plenty of hot and cold water. Bottled water and toilet paper was provided although I took tissues and wet wipes. Everything is available at local Carrefour Supermarket. My grateful thanks to all staff, day and night who were so friendly and caring.And especially my driver who did a return trip to the airport to return my phone!!

I liked the location, it was very close to the beach (only 3 min walking). Every thing was clean and the breakfast was good. Mr. Ashraf is a helpful descent man who responds to our all requests. They allowed us to keep our luggage for hours after checkout. We felt safe and comfort. It is a highly recommended place.
