Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Alghero

Beautiful comfortable villa with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine. Well equipped kitchen and nice to have 3 toilets. The pool was cold until you let your body acclimatise and then it was wonderful. We were lucky with the weather in the 3rd week of October! Vincenzo was easy to communicate with although we had no reason to contact him during our stay. Very easy to get to the town of Alghero which we loved, but also a good place from which to explore and down the coast.

Beautiful cottage, well-equipped with everything you could need (actually there's so much handy stuff at times we had trouble finding the basics). We spent quite some time relaxing in the little garden and the Jacuzzi. The host, Michele, was super forthcoming and helpful. Location is a bit difficult to find, Google Maps lead us into a dead end at first, but convenient to explore Alghero and the local area around by car. Great place to stay if you want to have the option for lazy days where you barely leave the house & cook for yourself.

Really nice and relaxed cottage located in a rural setting amidst Olive trees and only a short drive into Alghero. The cottage was quite rustic which added to the charm of the place. Michelle was a great host offering great advice on the area and always on hand to answer queries and offer assistance.We very much enjoyed our stay.

Very nice large villa with ample space and within a great setting (large grounds and gated access). Rooms were very spacious and ample facilities to carter all needs. Great outdoors space with very large pool and outdoor setting area. Host was very accommodating and allowed both earlier check-in and later check-out which was very convenient.

The hotel is in a great location, directly opposite the beach, near lots of bars and restaurants and about 15 mins walk from the beautiful old town. The rooftop pool is fantastic with lovely views. We never had a problem getting sun loungers. Breakfast was pricey but it was outstanding - lots of fresh produce and choice. Our room was immaculately clean, very modern and a good size. Hotel staff were lovely - they booked us a taxi to the airport (25-30 euros), beach towels cost 3 euros to borrow, breakfast was 20 euros or 15 if booked on arrival. Alghero is a fantastic place to visit and stay - the old town is gorgeous, food everywhere was delicious, the beaches are like the Caribbean with soft white sand and crystal clear sea. I didn't want to come home. A perfect holiday destination and a great hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Very friendly and personalized welcome on arrival by very professional staff,wonderful room well furbished and large balcony with sea view . Great rooftop swimming pool. . We felt as good as home in this well situated quiet hotel. Parking available for 15 euros a night. Well equipped fitness room and play room for children with ping pong. Beach just across the road. Wonderful full breakfast and free use of courtesy room provided to shower before departure if your flight or ship leaves in the evening. I have rarely seen that in my 45 years of travelling. Thank you! We will definitely come back.

So clean and modern, great breakfast, lovely staff, great location for both the town and the beaches. We rented bikes from a bike shop just up the road and got to see loads of Alghero and cycle up and down for dinner each evening at our ease. 20min walk or 5 min cycle up to the beautiful beaches of Maria pia Stunning views from the roof top pool.

just 80 yards from the beach, the hotel has an excellent location. Either side and two excellent restaurants. The room is nicely laid out with a decent sized balcony. The shower worked well, although somewhat compact our laundry came in at 109 euros for a small load, therefore best not to use if possible superb swimming pool at 5th floor level

We loved everything about this property ! Great accommodation, great facilities and the location across from the beach amazing! The pool top bar we used and had a great Aperol Spritz. we alonso loved their restaurant in the old town

It's been four years since I've stayed in an Italian hostel. I should have remembered. Italy doesn't do "cheap & nasty". Here there is none of the scrimping & saving you get in other hostels around Europe. Everything is spotlessly clean, ultra modern and works like clockwork. The hostel is in partnership with a hotel about a 5-minute walk away where you have to go to check in and later to return keys and retrieve your €5 deposit. It is also about a 5-minute walk to the Old Town and the harbour. Of course you pay more than you would for a cheap & nasty place, however it's still the cheapest accommodation in Alghero. Very satisfied!

Clean, spacious rooms. In the 4-bed rooms, there was an option not to sleep in a bunk bed, which was positive. The bathroom was spacious and clean, pretty good for a hostel. Lovely staff and very helpful, whenever I had a question they were responding promptly on Whattsapp.

This accommodation was excellent. Clean and very comfortable. I was staying on my own but asked to be on the same floor as my friends, the communal area was so lovely and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The WhatsApp reminder message was excellent too.

It was very well laid out, very centrally located, I had a room with a balcony. The room had a really nice and modern design. It was clean, the staff at the reception were very nice. Easy approach, everything was fantastic, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. The location was very good: on the sea-front, close to the bus station where the airport bus stops, within walking distance from the old city, other tourist points and one of the beaches, and with a grocery store nearby. We arrived a bit earlier in Alghero and we were lucky to be able to check-in. The room was sparkling clean and it had everything. Not only it was so well-equipped and practical, but it was nicely designed, with cute blue tiles in the bathroom matching other details in the room. We didn't know that breakfast was included, because it wasn't specified when we booked, so this was the most beautiful surprise. The staff was really nice and they helped us with calling a taxi when needed.

We had a rocky start our flight was delayed arriving to the island at 1.30am not a taxi around rang hotel and Elena couldn't do enough for us we arrived to be met by a smile of the night porter again who couldn't do enough for us .this set the bar for an amazing stay Breakfast was plentiful and fresh again the staff were warm and welcoming El Balear you should be proud of your team who are a credit to Italian hospitality Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the garden so peaceful Keep up the good work

If you are looking for an authentic run Sardinian hotel with a family feel this is the place for you. The room was large, clean and our room overlooked the sea which gave us a beautiful view of the sunset in the evening. There is no elevator in the hotel and we were on the third floor but we would return to this hotel in a heartbeat because of the experience we had. The staff were so kind and went above and beyond what one would expect to make our stay enjoyable.

Loved this hotel right across the street from the walking / bicycle path along the water. Our sea view room had a great view of the Med from our balcony. Squeaky clean and comfortable room, strong air conditioning, and comfortable beds. Shower had good pressure, lots of hot water and a rain shower. Breakfast was good, eggs and meats along with sweets. Safe and secure bicycle parking in their courtyard. Very friendly and helpful staff! I would love to return and highly recommend!

Great Hotel, close to seafront and old town. Spotless. Great value for money. Nice balcony facing garden. Tea and coffee making facilities, always a plus. Air conditioning. Good shower. Staff could not have been better. Car hire at reception, easiest ever. Let down a little by breakfast. Could do better. Would definitely stay again. Parking around the streets no problem.

Amazing stay at Hotel dei Pini for 4 nights in October with variety of activities to do and many options in the restaurant. Seaview/beach access room: clean and organized well, good lighting and a lovely patio with easy access to the beach. Quiet throughout the night. Restaurant: Breakfast buffets available daily with a decent amount of suitable options. Dinner was great with many options, as well as a Mediterranean buffet on Monday. We skipped lunch, but enjoyed some drinks at the bar in the afternoons. Beach side: the beach is beautiful and has clear water, with mostly soft sand and some rocky terrain around. Recliner beach chaise (chairs) were available often, even though some other guests would sometimes put towels to hold them up. Great view of the sunrise. Water activities available beach side: -Kayaking: available for single and doubles. This was fun with many views around the coast and great for any beginner! -Motorized Boat: fits 3 people well, up to 4 comfortably. We rented the boat for 4 hours and traveled around the coast to the Capo Caccia and Isola di Foradada. We were instructed on how to operate the boat and all safety measures prior to leaving. Plenty of time to sightsee, as well as to take a dip in the waters. Pool: clean waters and not so busy because most guests rather go to the beach. Great view of the sunset. Poolside drinks/snacks available to order. Overall, amazing experience and well worth every minute of it! 5/5 would recommend!

The private beach is wonderful, with cristal water and light coloured sand. Its very good to have your own sunbed and umbrella for each room. This is a nice thing and we didnt feel its crowded because they are very organized. The staff is very nice, friendly and ready to help. We got all the information needed and the help requested. The breakfast is very good and with plenty of options (i would suggest other type of eggs except for the scrambled eggs and boiled eggs cause it might be boring). The pool is amazing and so is the view from the pool above a small golf. Towels are available on the beach everyday. Rooms are clean and bathrooms very spacious. We had a double room with garden view and it was good because there was no sun in the morning so we didnt feel its hot. There was an intense smell inside the room when we got there and the windows were closed so was not very nice but after one day of having the windows constantly opended, it dissapaired. We had dinner a la carte one evening and it was lovely, the food was good and the view from the restaurant made our evening more pleasant. Its a place where i would go back anytime. Simply beautiful.

Stunning hotel right on the beach with clear turquoise water. Location is perfect. 10 mins from Alghero airport, set between pine trees. Views at the hotel are out of this world - we were not using swimming pool yet still came to enjoy views. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone went out of their way to please us. Everyone from hotel personnel speak good English and communication was very easy. We had ground floor seaview room with large patio opening right onto the beach and couldn't be happier with the room especially since we traveled with a toddler. Was very convenient. Room was spotlessly cleaned every day but as it's a green hotel towels were not changed on a daily basis and we had no problem with it. Breakfast was good with variety of local cheeses, meats, veg, fruit and cereals as well as different pastries and cakes etc. It was similar daily with some variation but we enjoyed it. There are some options that you could have for a supplement but we didn't use those. Coffee is from the self service machine instant type, but also freshly brewed one is available at no extra cost. Hotel restaurant was not our favourite. There's nothing wrong with it - just many more lively ambient places to eat in town. Oh and hotel don't make pizza-only shortcut version one at the lobby bar. We had three dinners at the hotel and enjoyed Sardinian night the most. Can go on forever. Just book it and definitely hire a car.

Et dejligt hotel beliggende helt ud til havet med egen god badestrand grænsende op til skoven. Fin sandstrand med sand og små klipper ude i vandet. Flot pool med fantastisk 90 graders havudsigt deroppefra ud over havet og grønne buske, palmer mm.. Her var pænt og rent og der blev gjort ordenligt rent overalt inkl. på værelserne hver dag. Der var Minibar / køleskab på værelserne til drikkevare. Gratis solstole med skyggemuligheder og dejlige strand-badehåndklæder. Flere (tilkøbs) aktivitetes-muligheder på stranden og rigtig gode snorkelmuligheder og masser af fisk at se på revet lige ude foran hotellet / stranden til højre ved klipperne. Lidt ælde hotel, som dog er blevet renoveret i nyere tid som var meget charmerende. Personalet var super servicemindet, smilende og meget venligt om end vi spiste eller havde brug for hjælp til udflugter eller andet. Maden smagte godt og vi spiste både en god buffet med en masse spændende lokale retter (da der var et stort hold som boede her en dag) og efterfølgende spiste vi "a la carte" med frisk salat, fisk og pasta mm. aften og stor morgenbuffet hver morgen. Værelset var moderniseret med myggenet, skodder, aircon., nyere badeværelse og nye skabe og gulve. Der var desuden en fin altan med udsigt. Sengene var okay - dog intet outstanding. Alt i alt et rigtig dejligt hotel med sublim service - priserne er i den lidt dyere ende, selv om vi var her lidt uden for sæsonnen midt i Maj og vi havde behaggelige temp. i luften 20-22gr.

We can’t recommend this hotel enough! Located just 15 minutes from the airport, it offers the perfect blend of convenience and relaxation right on the beach. The stunning views and easy access to the water made every moment feel like a vacation. The hotel restaurant served a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options. There are also charming little restaurants within walking distance along the beach, perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. The staff truly made our experience exceptional. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us set up a catamaran tour, making our trip even more memorable. With a beautiful pool, ample parking, and all the amenities you could ask for, this hotel has it all. It’s only a 20-25 minute drive to Alghero, which is a fantastic bonus. Overall, this stay was a delightful blend of comfort and service, and we can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay here. The room is absolutely gorgeous. Very tastefully decorated, love the colors. Comfy bed. Great shower. Free coffee and pastries. And incredibly well soundproofed. We were here the night of the Easter procession (which was awesome) and there were lots of people in the street. But with the windows closed, you couldn't hear a peep! And it's right in the heart of the old town. Plus the owners were VERY nice. We had to leave another place at 11 am and they actually let us check in at 11. Would definitely go back!

Well positioned flat. Very good phonic isolation, but once you open the windows, you get a glimpse of the busy Alghero streets and, occasionally, a free performance from the Cajo pizzeria stuff from across. Historical center, so of course it's an old building, but everything inside is looking and works brand new. Hosts were very helpful, yet totally non intrusive. They helped a lot, considering we had a very long flight delay. You can see all over the care for the guests, the trust and the desire to create a pleasant experience.

A delightful and spotlessly clean AirBnB. Tastefully decorated and with special touches that make it especially welcoming for travellers. Complementary water, coffee and cakes and everything you need for a perfect home away from home. THE best shower during my 5 weeks of travelling in Italy… large, and with an efficient shower head. Windows for fresh air, but when closed block out every bit of street noise. And a delightful host when I needed help with a problem I had not anticipated.

Giovanna, our host's kindness, helpfulness and very friendly welcome at arrival. The room is sufficiently spacious, perfectly clean and well equipped, the bathroom too. Beautiful room colours and furniture. In the heart of the old town's main walking street, close to the seaside promenade and really good restaurants. It was also very kind from Giovanna that she provided us with pre-packed croissants and coffee capsules for breakfast. We were happy to be there planning to return in the near future

Fantastic location, right in the old centro storico and also only a couple of minutes walk to the harbour promenade..Room was immaculately clean and exactly like the photos. Giovanna the host was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Palau De Rosa for a city break in Alghero. Also only a five minute walk to the airport bus drop off which is great if you are not hiring a car.

The view was stellar. Room nice and clean with a great balcony. Parking was easy, ( for Italy that’s a big deal ). Pools very nice and clean. Staff at the pool bar were great. Negatives, they are expensive for food and drinks. One of the pool people, ( lower pool ), was on a power trip. Breakfast was great except that do they don’t know how to make eggs that are edible. Overal, great. Would return.

El Faro is based in beautiful location with great views. Alghero is 15 min drive so it not to bad. I would say you need a car or bicycle to commute if you staying in this hotel. If I need to say something negative that would be there is not maybe the best place with the little kids because the hotel is based on beautiful location but on a rocky grounds so you would have to keep an eye on them if you are staying in the hotel by the pool for example, because they could easily fell somewhere or just hurt themselves otherwise it's amazing place to stay. You got amazing views from the breakfast area and the bar area. Great indoor outdoor pool. Parking is limited is basically on first come first serve basis and and a busy time you would have to park somewhere further fri the hotel on the street. Breakfast is ok nothing too special, we had scrambled and boild eggs, some sausage and bacon and Sardinia is very tin more like pancetta style. I think in Sardinia they concentrating and hotels more on sweet table because we had quite generous options of cookies pies and another sweet stuff. Overall it's a great hotel with a beautiful views

Hotel was beautiful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The surrounding scenery was stunning. We rented the hotel car, which was an easy process and a reasonable price and great to have the freedom to explore as there wasnt a great deal nearby. We didnt use the spa, but the two outside pools were lovely and the sunbeds were great quality and comfortable. We ate at the a la carte restaurant once and it was absolutely lovely food with great service and matched the slightly higher price. The only negative we had of our stay was the lunch at the pool bar on one of the days. We both ordered ceaser salad, which was expensive and basically consisted of a pile of iceburg lettuce, one cherry tomato, a drizzle of dressing and then some thin sliced chicken and cheese. We also two cocktails (10 euros each) which were very basic and not the best - strangest mojito we'd ever seen! The lunch aside, could not reccommend this hotel more. Clean, beautiful, helpful staff, comfortable rooms. A+ !! Would come back again in a heartbeat!

The location is absolutely peaceful and beautiful and the calm water in the bay meant easy paddleboarding and safe swimming. The hotel is also beautiful, and we loved sitting on our balcony watching the sunset. It would have been nice to sit there with tea and coffee in the morning, but unfortunately, there are no beverage facilities in the room. Sadly, the pool is barely heated and there is no hot tub, so we weren't able to get hang out in the pool very much. The real downside was the food. Breakfast was ok, but I wish the scrambled eggs hadn't been half raw. Dinner was medeocre, at best. It really made me wish there were other restaurants within walking distance.

We loved the seclusion of this genteel sea front hotel. Rooms were immaculately clean with beautiful sea views. With regard to the beach/sea, we prefer private rocky coves with clear water over crowded sandy beaches and El Faro delivered! There were always plenty of loungers and shady spots if you wanted to get out of the sun. The entrance to the sea could be difficult for small children or those with mobility issues, but there are two swimming pools. Outstanding service at every level. Compliments to the staff and their professionalism. The breakfast buffet was ample and some additional items were available for a modest fee. The only complaint we have was the horrible coffee. We tried ordering espresso and cappuccino, but they were just as bad as the American coffee. Finally we resorted to hot tea, but the water was never really hot enough. A small thing to some, but for those of us who can’t wait for that first sip of a good hot cup of coffee in the morning, it was disappointing. We ate two lunches and several dinners at the hotel and were pleased with everything we ordered. One evening we drove into Alghero for dinner, but traffic, parking and the town were a circus. We quickly realized that we preferred to stay at the resort to enjoy a good, relaxing meal with great service and a stunning view. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend and return.
