Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Alicante

We spent 4 nights at the level and we had such an amazing time here . Our room on the 5th floor with a sea view which was spectacular . Cleanliness of the room and throughout the hotel was excellent . We had booked on a bed and breakfast basis and were delighted to find out on arrival that complimentary tapas , sweets / mini cakes and drinks including Cava and Cruzcampo were available throughout the day . Breakfast including made to order omelettes , pancakes and churros was amazing , all the food very fresh and good quality . We were celebrating our anniversary during our stay and the level staff made this extra special with a lovely surprise bottle of Cava and petit fours, thank you . There is a nice beach beside the hotel and a relaxing deck and plunge pool beside the lounge which had a lovely vibe . Staff here are exceptional , very helpful and friendly. We loved our stay at Melia Alicante and our first visit to Alicante and can’t wait to return .

Amazing location, right between the beach and the port. Hotel is beautiful! Rooms are clean and spacious. We had a premium sea view room which had a beautiful balcony with a view overlooking the ocean and the pool of the hotel next door. Access to beach side from pool which is amazing! You can bring your pool towels down to the beach too, saved us packing extra. Great market on the port which was on all day and late into the evening. Loads of restaurants close by that are far more affordable and all amazing so no need to eat in the hotel. We did eat in the hotel for lunch - salad and calamari great and portion sizes big. Pool cocktails great - €9-€11. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Some poolside activities during the day for adults - we loved the morning Pilates but missed the sunset yoga. If it had have been a bit earlier we would’ve loved it. It was also in the shaded part of the pool where there was no sunset so could’ve been earlier. We were able to check out and still use the facilities including pool towels, even leave to use the beach. We came back to use the shower and changing in the solarium area before leaving for our flight.

Just returned home from a stay at the Melia hotel. After reading mixed reviews, I was feeling a bit sceptical about my stay but I needn’t be which was good. Breakfast was absolutely amazing I can’t complain, great choice and something for everyone!! We ate out each night so can’t comment on lunch/dinner food. A couple of gripes being that our room (as lovely as overlooking the marina directly is), the doors are not soundproof so you can hear the noise directly from the market and bar opposite which unfortunately goes on into the early hours which kept me awake a lot of the first night. Thank you to one of the lady’s on reception (unsure of her name - sorry) for moving us rooms after one night from a king room to a twin room with 2 beds (staying with my cousin we did not want to share a bed). This new room had a more powerful shower and better view of the marina - beautiful to look at both day and night! Also, the pool are and sun loungers are nowhere near on par for a hotel of the Melia’s size - tiny pool and most of the loungers on the pool side were in the shade for a majority of the day - this unfortunately made the pool a bit cold, but not too unbearable. Some areas of the hotel modern and others a little outdated, however this did not hinder our stay at all! I would recommend the Melia to anyone for a beautiful location overlooking the beach and marina (some rooms), although it’s a tad on the pricy side!

We have just returned from a 5 night break at Melia Alicante and would highly recommend. The staff were so friendly and helpful, hotel was spotless and our room on 2nd floor directly overlooking the beach was awesome. We have stayed in 2 other hotels in Alicante, all were fabulous but we choose this one as our stay was a bit longer than previous trips so we wanted a bigger pool. Breakfast in the main restaurant was very good. We has booked half board which we would not book again. Whilst the salads were lovely, we found the hot choices really limited and not that great so ate dinner out on our last 2 nights. Also there was work going on almost everyday around the pool and whilst they kept this to a minimum as much as possible, no one wants to hear drills when trying to relax and soak up the wonderful setting of the pool. I don’t understand why they could not have done this work early evening which would have impacted less on the guest experience. Having said that, we did enjoy our stay at Melia and would definitely return.

Spent 2 nights at the hotel. Hotel common areas are very nice, including the lobby and then the level with the pool which also had a pool bar and food area. The pool itself was so cold so just went in and out and decided instead to just go onto the beach which is right outside the door - now that water was wonderful! They also had some resort activities (shows at night, water aerobics, etc.), which was a nice offering. Rooms were ok - sparsely decorated and bathroom was dark and a little run down with the bathroom door seemingly starting to fall apart probably from water rot from the shower. No washcloths or bar soap so actually brought my own. But the room was clean and bed comfortable so definitely served our needs. Location was great and was easy to get a taxi in and out. If ever returned to Alicante would return.

Great location, lovely room, great nights sleep. Nice roof top bar with view of castle. We purchased pool access which was to a disappointing small pool with loungers in it! This should be described. I wouldn’t have purchased.

The location could not be better. One block off the main street with the beach to your left, the main promenade to your right, and the esplanade, market, and casino between. The airport bus has a station about a two-minute walk away. The elevator entrance to Santa Barbara is a five-minute walk and restaurants are all around. The hotel is clean and bright with white and sea-green décor. Our room was very large and had both a fan and air conditioning, a large under-counter fridge, a coffee and tea station with kettle, and a safe. The beds, two twins pushed together, were very hard. They were not comfortable for me because they made my hips and knees hurt but my partner had no problem with the beds. But, they also had very big and comfortable pillows, so I slept on those. We had a room with the hydromassage shower. It was fun but kind of messy until you figured out how to use it. The roof has a nice view. There is a lounge area with chairs and sofas that shade coverings that you can use during the day. The bar is only open at night (and not all nights) and they control the big umbrellas. The pool is a little bit larger than just a plunge pool but still small – it had a ledge for sitting and floating recliners in it. The pool closes early though so we really didn’t use it.

Lovely Hotel in an excellent location. The beach is straight across the from the hotel and very close to the Marina and Old Town. Plenty of things to do and see. Also good for shopping, two big shopping centres within walking distance. The Hotel is spotless. Carmina and Yolanda in reception are fabulous. They are really helpful, knowledgeable, funny and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely with a great shower. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. We had access to the plunge pool area but didn’t really use during the day but always had a drink there in the High Bar at night. Great atmosphere and lovely view of the castle. We didn’t have breakfast as there are loads of coffee places near by. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay ,from the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The receptionist staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern and bright and in a fantastic position to the beach, restaurants and shopping.The breakfast is delicious. The restaurant staff are lovely the dining area at breakfast can be busy for the small area .There is a rooftop bar with fantastic views of the castle, a small plunge pool with 4 sunbeds inside. The only two things that i feel could be improved is that the bar staff in the rooftop bar could Smile and be happy and interact more with guests. The breakfast room could do with 2 coffee machines and a little more space. But a fantastic hotel and stay, we would definitely come back. Thank you.

This accommodation is fantastic in every aspect. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are very modern and well equipped, and staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a premium quad room and it was so spacious with two bedrooms and a lounge/dining/ kitchen area. The balcony was huge with a great view of the castle/city. The rooftop bar and pool is very nice with a chilled vibe. The pool is small but very nice for a cool down or to relax on the floating beds. The location is very central, close to shops, bars, restaurants, beach etc. We had breakfast in the hotel and there was a great choice of hot foods, eggs, sausages, bacon, omelette, tomato, mushrooms, as well as a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, breads pastries, fruit, and hot and cold drinks. As a coeliac I was well catered for and received a freshly prepared portion of scrambled eggs along with a freshly baked baguette, fruit, juice, and a slice of lemon cake. If I visit Alicante again I will definitely stay here. Highly recommended!

HOME AWAY FROM HOME We really loved our stay at Vicky's villa. We had everything we needed in there. Plenty of towels, kitchen equipment, things for our toddler like high chair, inflatables for the pool, travel cot. I loved the washing line on the roof top, clothes are dried in no time. Plenty of space outside and inside. Great value for money for a place with private swimming pool, BBQ, private parking, three bedrooms and three toilets! I also loved having a bathtub for my child, it's much better than a shower. Beach was only 10 min drive. Nice restaurants in the area. I loved having good value supermarkets within walking distance. Neighbourhood is clean and quiet. Our host Vicky is very helpful and friendly. If we were to come back, we would book with Vicky again.

Nice and big well set out . Pool area seating area is ideal for family from breakfast to dinner The added bonus of a BBQ gives the option to cook outdoors Separately from the neighbours so no noise from them . Having pool items for children / adults is a great idea and was a bonus. Washing machine ideal and with the roof top to dry is the perfect way. Vicky is very knowledgeable, very helpful she is professional and a fantastic hostess. If you require any assistance she is only a message away

We were a family group 5 adults and a 6 year old. We loved the house and outdoor area with pool. There where also pool toys and beach toys to use. Fully fitted kitchen, including airfryer which we used a lot. Washingmachine to clean the towels and large garden to sit outside in different areas during the day. Close to several restaurants and supermarked, also close to the weekly marked. Vicky gives super service and quick to help if we had any questions, super host!

The villa is in a beautiful location, its quite but yet within 10 minutes walk to shops, supermarkets, bars and night time entertainment/restaurants and live music. The villa itself is modern, clean and very comfortable. There is space to be together or to sit alone, to sit and read, listen to music or simply relax by the bubbling pool that is kept immaculate by Vickys husband LIoyd. The host Vicky goes above and beyond her role in making sure the guests are provided with everything they need. She supplied us with beautiful fresh crusty bread on one of her visits, provided us with extra towels and more. During our stay there was a storm that created minor damage to the gazebo roof and Lioyd was over with no hesitation to arrange a new roof immediately, an absolute gentleman. On the day of our departure there was a mix up with the taxi company, which could have been very stressful was it not for Lloyd who thought nothing of driving my family to the airport himself. The service and hosting provided by Vicky and Lloyd was exceptional. I hope to come back to Alicante next year, and stay in Vickys Villa, quite simply why would I want to stay anywhere else? It was a wonderful experience and one I would recommend to all. Thank you Vicky and Lloyd for helping to make our family holiday a treasured memory and one we will never forget.

The villa was in excellent condition and lived up to the expectations set in the profile on Booking.com. Everything needed for a relaxing holiday was provided and the hosts (Vicky and Lloyd) were gracious, friendly, helpful and welcoming. The gardens and pool area were lovely with lost of nice places to sit throughout the day. The interior of the villa was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen had everything you'd need to self-cater. WiFi and TV were both excellent too. And and added bonus is the quality of the tap water in the villa - no need to lug heavy 5l water bottles in the mid-day sun!! The local area was quiet during the day and night, and a pleasant short walk will bring you to the bus stops, shops and restaurants. Alicante city and the costal town of Santa Pola are easily accessible and both are lovely places to visit and stroll around. Vickys Villa is an excellent property and, like us, you'll be busy thinking of your next visit as soon as you get home :)

Clean, modern with lots of space and light. Top quality and very well equipped. Plenty of room for us - 6 adults and 2 children. Nice garden area and swimming pool, and terrace on top floor. Renting company responsive on what’s app and answered every question. El Campello has a good beach and restaurants on the sea front. Alicante, Benidorm and even Denia accessible by tram from a stop just 5 minutes walk from the property.

It is a wonderful home, very well equipped in a quiet neighbourhood. We wanted a restful family holiday and this property is the ideal location for exactly that. The hosts were very thoughtful with a welcome basket and even some personal amenities for each guests and we really wanted for nothing. Our days were spent sleeping late in the comfortably air-conditioned house, then lazing the afternoon away in the sun with some drinks next to the pool (with a small bar area so we could keep our drinks cool and closeby) followed by some family game time and dinner on the patio each evening. The area has a small shop, farmacy, a cozy beach and a few restaurants for those who would like to venture out. We loved it so much and it has set the bar really high for any following vacations.

Kathryn was very helpful upon our arrival providing a detailed introduction to the villa. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the Christmas period – we even used the swimming pool but warmed up afterwards in the hot tub! The fourth bedroom is self-contained on a different level but my teenage son liked having his own space. We enjoyed the surrounding area visiting Les Cases de Bèrnia, Pantano de Amadorio, Faro de l'Albir, Villajoyosa, Alicante and Ibi for the Els Enfarinats festival.

It was one of the best holidays ever. The villa was wonderful and the pool was huge. The villa had everything you could need, and the fantastic location deserves a 10/10. I guarantee that I will definitely come back.

The house is amazing. 20 minutes from the airport. Easy to find and Benjamin was there at the gate when we arrived. Everything is so straight forward and the place is immaculate. So pretty and an amazing pool. BBQ area. There is so much room!!!

We loved this chalet and would definitely stay there again. The garden is amazing, it has a fabulous pool with very comfortable sun loungers where you can enjoy the sun or just relax. There is a barbecue and a very nice pergola with sofas. Also a playground where the kids didn't want to leave except to the pool. The interior is completely new and with a style that leaves you surprised, it had everything we needed for our stay, super comfortable beds and the most important thing and that we have not found in all our trips is immaculate cleanliness, everything shone. The location is very good because it is in an independent chalet area where you can feel the peace, listening to the sound of the birds in the morning. It is very close to San Vicente with all services such as supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants. They received us in an incredible way and the staff at all times was aware that we did not need anything, a service of 10. We had a flight in the evening and asked to leave later, the staff without hesitation let us stay until check-in time. go to the airport. Thank you very much for this incredible vacation, we will be back soon!

10 friends on holiday from Sweden. Everything about the house was exceptional, clean, modern and luxurious. Spacious and with great facilities for all of us. Fully equipped for a wonderful holiday. (Towels, shampoo etc) Nice outside area with a grass lawn where you can play some football or other fun games. The pool was big enough for all of us and the sunbeds were very comfortable. The owner was amazingly helpful and kind, always responding quickly when we had some questions. When we let the owner know we wanted a bread knife, they came knocking on the door with one the same day! Air condition in every room aswell. We would definitely book this house again! Wow! Highly recommend!

Beautiful villa and swimming pool with excellent facilities

This was a family holiday trip and all I can say is it met all of out expectations and more. The gentleman who owns this villa, is more than welcoming! And really goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. The villa was absolutely amazing.. and all of the facilities were brilliant. The swimming pool was one of the best features for us as a family to use and all of the bedrooms came with very comfortable beds and plenty of storage space for your clothes and belongings. The outdoor space has plenty of cooking facilities as well, such as gas cookers and BBQ stoves. I cannot recommend this facility more, the stay was absolutely fantastic and has given us memories we will cherish for a lifetime. We will definitely be going back!

This was our second time back to the hotel, we absolutely love this hotel. The cleanliness is outstanding. The rooms are one of the best I've ever stayed, especially in a city centre. Decor is lovely. The location is perfect, set back a little from the beach but in the middle of everything else, plus, across from the food market and tram stop. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff go above and beyond for you. I can't comment on the food as we went room only. We didn't miss not having a balcony. A kettle, fridge and hairdryer in your room were the additional touches. Superb!! Will be returning.

Very nice hotel that is perfect for a city break in Alicante due to its location. As well as the very nearby tourist places of interest, it is surrounded by dozens of fantastic restaurants and bars. Beaches can be walked to from the hotel but if you don't feel like walking there is a nearby taxi rank or you can ask the staff to help book for you. There are also lots of buses.

Excellent location, large double room, with large modern bath room with bathtub. Beds were comfortable and came with two sets of pillows. AC worked well. Stayed on 10th floor so room came with beatiful view of Alicante. With window shut, no noise from street was heard. Everything was nice and tidy. Will stay here again when I return to Alicante.

Very nice hotel centrally located and opposite the fascinating market. The bus from the airport stops right across the road which is really useful. Could not control the heating/air conditioning in the room, so had to have the window open all night which meant I could hear the street noise and neighbours talking until the early hours.

They were super attentive, friendly, and also treated us very well. When I said that we were going on our wedding anniversary, they gave us a very nice gift for me and my wife to enjoy. I definitely want to stay in this hotel again. Also, the breakfast is incredible and it's super worth it.

The location is excellent just off the main promenade of Alicante and a 15 minute walk to the beach. We had a family room which was very comfortable as it was 2 bedrooms and a minibar fridge so it was very good value. The staff at reception were very friendly and let us checkin early as a room was available which was super convenient. All in all a very good stay and close to all the attractions in Alicante.

The location was fantastic. Even had a slight sea view from the bathroom! We arrived late morning intending to leave our bags and explore but in fact we were given the keys to our room. We had booked a Superior Family Room and we had two rooms plus a bathroom. Very spacious. Helpful staff. Excellent value for money too.

I cannot believe this hotel is officially rated as a 1 star hostel. It should be 2/3 star hotel as staff amazing, room a good size with large en-suite. Location is the best in Alicante if you want the old town and 100 metres from the seafront.

Great location, I had a double bedroom on the 4th floor, it was quiet, couldn't hear much noise from the street below and bed was comfy I slept really well, better then at home Room had a/c, fridge, smart tv and a modern bathroom would definitely stay again

The room was very clean and nice. Unfortunately we couldn't turn on our air conditioner and we asked for another room. It was no problem at all! The staff was helpful and friendly. The one minute walk to the main street makes this localisation really good.

Location is good, max 5 min to the beach and beach boulevard by walking. Room was big enough. Wide beds. Swimming pool was nice and not too crowded. We came from the airport by taxi but later realized that it is also quite convenient to take a tram to the airport. Hotel is located about 10 min walk away from the nearest tram station (close to Carrefour supermarket). After check-out it was possible to use the swimming pool and stay in common areas in the hotel. Also possible to leave the luggage at the reception.

Room was very clean with daily cleaning. The swimming pool was clean as was the surrounding area with enough sunbeds and sun umbrellas. There is a small bar by the pool offering soft drinks and a few alcoholic drinks. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect very quiet and seamed a residential area. 1 street away from the beach and many restaurants and shops and 2 supermarkets. Air conditioning was inderpenditly controlled in each room.

Close to the beach (just walk down the stairs and cross the street), and near a well-stocked shop, restaurants, and cafes. The tram stop is about a 10-minute walk away. Very friendly staff who speak English. Free Wi-Fi, paid parking at €10 per day, but you can easily find free parking in the nearby streets. Rooms are cleaned daily and offer a great sea view. The pool is clean and has a children's paddling area. A kettle is available upon request at the reception. The rooms have small fridges. Thank you for a wonderful holiday – we’ll definitely be back!

Very good hotel, great location, but may be inconvenient for older people, as the hotel is located at a height, you need to climb steep steps. Cleaning and change of towels and bed linen Every day. Nice and clean swimming pool with umbrellas and sun loungers. Breakfast was good, but without hot dishes, it suited us. Thanks to the management for a wonderful and comfortable holiday.

We stayed at the AC Hotel Marriott in Alicante for five days and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect – just a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport, and it's an easy walk into the city center, which made exploring the area a breeze. The rooms were exactly what we needed—clean, comfortable, and equipped with air-conditioning and a mini-bar. Speaking of bars, the prices throughout the hotel were surprisingly reasonable, whether you were grabbing a drink from the mini-bar or enjoying a cocktail at one of the hotel bars. Breakfast was fantastic, offering a mix of both cooked and continental options that really set us up for the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to offer advice on local places to visit and dine at—nothing was too much trouble for them. One of the highlights was the rooftop pool. It’s a great spot with beautiful views, but it can get busy, so space around the pool can be limited at times. However, the outside bar, serving up lovely cocktails, made it a wonderful place to relax. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Alicante.

Loved this hotel which we booked through Jet2CityBreaks on a room-only basis. The room was modern with all mod-cons including a safe and multiple USB-A and -C ports, a big TV and a roomy bathroom. We used the rooftop pool which was fresh water and offers great views over the port and castle. The hotel is located only a short walk from both the coach and train station and about a twenty-minute straight walk to Platja Postiguet. The airport bus has a stop just around the corner which was really convenient. We never used the hotel bar but it was always busy. Complimentary pool/beach towels provided together with a welcome box of chocolates and bottled water. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Great hotel!

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The service was excellent – friendly and helpful throughout. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great selection. The pool is on the smaller side but very nice and well-maintained, with the added benefit of a pool bar. The only slight downside is the location – it’s a bit far from Alicante city centre, but only a €6 taxi ride or a 20-minute walk. Overall, a great experience and if it wasn’t for the location we’d stay again.

Rooms are clean and modern. Beds are super comfortable with bedside USB sockets, the TV is large with a great selection of international channels and the air-con is excellent. Bathrooms are lovely with a strong shower and good amenities provided. Note that rooms with a ‘view’ of the sea overlook an industrial area, so I wouldn’t worry if you don’t get one. There is a small gym along with a sauna and hot tub for guests to enjoy - I recommend the hot tub with nice views! The rooftop pool and sundeck are excellent, so it’s well-worth staying here for them alone. Breakfast is good, but not outstanding, it needs some improvement, but didn’t detract from my stay. I found the all of the staff I met throughout my stay to be excellent. The only negative for me is that the location is not ideal, a good distance away from the city centre. It requires at least a 15min walk to get to the main shops, bars, and restaurants, although it is handy for the bus station. However, if you’re happy with the walk, this is an excellent hotel to consider.

Had a lovely stay here, great location with walking distance to the town, restaurants and bars. was not the right time of year for the pool however it was clean and well maintained. Rooms were immaculate cannot fault them at all! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would suggest if you’re hiring a car try and park in the free car parking spaces behind the hotel. The underground car park is very tight. We had hired a big car and did find it very tight. I would stay here again.

Arrived for 2 nights. Very easy check in. There were a few people waiting but they gave us a number (eg 2nd in the queue) so that the process was fair. Room 200 was very big, lovely four poster bed, spacious shower and seperate bath. Shutters on window helped to keep the room dark in the morning. Air con. Roof top bar was closed but you can buy a drink from the bar downstairs and make use of the space which we loved. Very peaceful and you can hear the church bells chime. A bit of a sun trap in the winter months. We jumped on the c6 bus from the airport which was 4.50 euro each and was about 20 mins. It’s the same bus stop on the way back. 5 min walk to hotel. We got off the one after the marina. We loved the location, out of the hotel to the right there is a square, LA FABRICA was great for Tapas! Carry on in the same direction and Santa Cruz and the castle is very scenic. To the left is the beach and lots of places to eat outside/squares etc. Beach is just at the bus stop which has so many bars and places to eat. We went to the market which was a great place to visit. Definitely will be back, thanks for a great stay ❤️

Les Monges Palace Boutique. The hotel far exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money and its fantastic location. I stayed there to celebrate my anniversary with my wife, and it was simply perfect. A huge thank you to Juan and the entire team, who allowed us to check in a full 5 hours early. On top of that, we were surprised with a chilled bottle of Secco as a gesture to celebrate our special occasion. These small touches truly make a trip unforgettable and add a personal touch that makes you feel at home. As the saying goes, "Home is where you feel welcome," and this hotel embodies that sentiment perfectly. The location is unbeatable. All my descriptions are based on walking distances: Once you arrive from the airport via bus, you can reach the hotel within 7 minutes from the station. It’s surrounded by amazing restaurants such as O de Oliver, La Taberna del Gourmet, and Nomad. There are affordable options to stock up on groceries at nearby supermarkets like Spar City. The beautiful Platja Postiguet beach is literally just 5 minutes away. A heartfelt thank you to the entire hotel team. Fabulous Hotel in a very central location just back from sea front with plenty of places to eat and drink around it. Staff friendly and helpful arrived early and they allowed us to leave bag with in a looked room. Room was very clean comfy bed and a powerful shower there was cups kettle coffee and tea room also had fridge safe and tv which has netflix and youtube installed on it We hadnt booked breakfast when we booked room but was told we could have breakfast and pay when we checked out €10 per person there was plenty to coose from cereals fruits cold meats cheeses bacon sausages scrambled eggs pancakes spanish omelette cobs bread yoghurts fruit cakes and pastries coffee tea several juices Overall great value for money

We liked everything from check in to check out, excellent staff, so kind, friendly and helpful especially Guilherme (William) who we met the most, he was always friendly and smiling, thank you so much William. Also Freddie, thank you for the beautiful breakfasts especially the eggs. Location was ideal for the Old town, the beach, the transport, many many restaurants beside hotel, great location. Hotel spotless, great air conditioning and room serviced everyday, shower was amazing as was the rooftop bar, would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially the young gentleman at the reception and the bar, who always made us feel welcome. He also gave us many fantastic recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, which were truly excellent. The rooms were clean, beautifully arranged, and very comfortable. The location is excellent – close to major attractions, restaurants, and the beach. The town itself is stunning and will forever remain one of our dream destinations. We would be more than happy to return!

We stayed in the penthouse apartment and it was absolutely fantastic. Beautifully designed with high ceilings and exposed beams. A very well equipped kitchen allowed us to take advantage of the amazing municipal market and cook some meals ourselves. Two huge terraces that caught the sun for most of the day and great for sitting out on, eating, drinking and listening to the city go by below. Two generously sized bedrooms and stylish bathrooms and best of all a great air conditioning system which was appreciated after being outside in 30 + degrees of Spanish sunshine! Ideally situated on the edge of the old town meant the beach, bars and restaurants, new town, local tram system and everything you wanted to see was just a short stroll away. The suites are managed by the fantastic Abdel who is an absolute star and couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed every day of our holiday - thank you. Would we stay at Arenal Suites again? Definitely, we both agreed that the apartment was one of the highlights which really allowed us to enjoy our stay in Alicante. We will be back!

The property was honest to the photos used in advertisement. The suites are located in the Old Town of Alicante, situating it directly into the hustle and bustle of the main strip, and endless tapas and dessert parlours to choose from. It’s a brief walk from main shops, tourist attractions and importantly the beach 🏖️ The property is well kept, managed professionally and stocked with everything you would need for a short or long stay. The suites have a modern design with an open plan living space and kitchen. Abdel, the manager and owner was responsive to all our needs and questions. Ensuring that we felt welcome and our time in Alicante was his no.1 priority. The staff were super helpful, always willing to restock the apartments with fresh towels and polite not to disturb your stay. Overall, I would stay here again and I could not recommend it enough for those wishing to visit Alicante.

Apartment very clean. Right in centre of town plenty of restaurants and shops around. Handy supermarket top of road. Tram station 5 min walk. Self check in as flight was a late one. Everything I needed emailed to me on the day. All facilities were excellent, rain forest shower head. Pleany of plug sockets around.. oven was a microwave and an oven only realised on last day.. approx 15 min walk to beech . If you love food you have 2 restaurants on the door step. Would recommend this apartment, plenty of room, to in bedroom and sitting room. Shutters over windows which block out 90% of noise on the street. Staff very helpful prior to visit and while in the apartment, think I drove him insane with questions prior to arrival. Nothing I asked no matter how many times I texted him it was never an issue.

Good communication from staff, allowed us to leave our case till apartment was ready and text us when it was which was early. Modern and well equipped apartment, everything you would need. Good shower, shower toiletries provided and towels changed twice during our 5 night stay. Bed was nice and comfy with extra pillows. Shutters at windows were great and let no light in whatsoever which is good if you're a light sleeper. Would have no hesitation in booking again or recommending to friends or family. Right in the old town with bars and restaurants literally on the door step but not noisy at night!

Superb location. Many very good restaurants and gorgeous bars literally on your door step. most very tasteful with good vibes. Lovely renovation to an old building. Fantastic quiet lift to all floors. Being on the first floor we only used the lift twice, with cases on arrival and departure. The stairs were a pleasure to use, very nicely done. Virtually silent through the night. Door coded locks were fantastic, from the front door to the apartment door. All very secure. Very central for city shopping. Although there for only 4 nights towels were changed midway through. Most pleasant gentleman was there to greet us on arrival.

Loved our stat here. The staff were faultless and the suites were very comfortable. The exclusive pool was fabulous and so was our room overlooking the sea with two balconies. Breakfast was amazing with every option available in brand new restaurant with stunning views. Can't wait to return.

2nd stay here, although the exterior of the building looks dated and shabby, the rooms are excellent, breakfast is lovely, private pool for suites is great. Pool temperature is cold could do with turning on the heat. Staff are very helpful. Plenty of good transport. Taxi to and from the airport is 25 euros each way so don’t get a private transfer. Ryanair wanted 117 euros!! Will return again next year.

The location of the hotel was ideal, a short bus ride from the airport, close to a lovely beach and quiet, away from the main road overlooking the sea. The suite was very comfortable with a large bed, perfect shower, 2 large TVs and 2 balconies overlooking the pool. The exclusive access to the pool, spa and gym was great making the area quiet. The choice at breakfast was fantastic with at least 2 members of staff replenishing food all the time. We were able to order drinks around the pool and we received very good service, especially from Andrea, who made the best Sangria! You could do with more umbrellas around the pool for shade as it was very hot but a dip in the pool was very refreshing and the beach was only a 10 minute walk away. There are many restaurants and bars nearby mostly on Calle Mayor, the main street although there are also good beach bars on the esplanade. We visited Santa Barbara castle one day where the views are fantastic! Definitely worth the short walk and trip up in the lift. Generally, for us, this was the perfect “fly and flop” holiday.

We loved the hotel and location. Sauna was out of order for couple of days which was a shame and for the last 3 days they didn’t provide us with fresh towels in the afternoon which was a bit disappointing but we enjoyed our stay. Pool area isn’t big enough for the hotel so summer time probably will be a problem to get a place as it does get busy. We thought it’s was adults only hotel but it’s not the case. Pool isn’t not big enough for children to have fun. Also pool is not heated and most of people didn’t bother some days water felt like it was topped up with ice but it’s march. Gym is really small as well but as I said we enjoyed it anyway.

We stayed in a junior suite and had a wonderful time. All the staff were pleasant, from the front desk, breakfast/pool staff to the cleaner - always smiling and happy to help. The suite was perfect for our needs although I really feel that frosted glass on the open shower would mean it was more useful particularly for a family - needless to say we didn’t use it. Even the main shower was an open plan type but we managed and it is certainly nothing major. The outside pool was lovely, just like the photos, there were always sun beds available and umbrellas for shade, it was one of the nicest pools I have been to in a city hotel. Breakfast was lovely, the staff were always replenishing the food. We had a lovely stay in Alicante and would certainly return and would definitely stay in the same hotel.

Pool was mostly.empty but as its a community pool it gets busier in the evening.The rooms are small but have everything you need could probably do with a new shower in the room we had but it was clean and functional. Shame its a bit out of the way but only 15 minutes from center in a cab. Fine if you have a car. The staff were helpful and friendly. But very relaxing and good location for the airport . Some of the reviews are very unfair probably not some wear young people

We upgraded to a room with balcony. All balcony rooms look over carpark not pool. Room had air con & mini fridge. Very modern, clean & new. The bed was super comfortable. Bathroom had own water heater so always hot water. Free parking in carpark. Meradona around corner. Located mote in residential area though perfect for us. Free breakfast too

Rooms are very clean, and we had everything we needed. The residential area was so quiet and welcoming. The pool is amazing and never crowded. Breakfast was tasty and the service friendly. We had to leave early in the morning and the staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This little property was more than enough to rest at night and have a splash in the swimming pool when needed. Relatively close to the beach by foot. The staff was very friendly and they dealt with our request (laundry service) with no issue. Everything was clean. Breakfast (included) was delicious with many options to go for.

Eurostars Pórtico Alicante is perfectly located in the heart of Alicante, next to the Ayuntamento of Alicante-City Hall and just in-front of the vast plaza. It is walking distance from the train station(20mins), port area(5 mins)and the sea beach(10mims). We walked to the hotel which was a 20 mins walk from the train station through narrow and charming streets, clicking numerous pictures on our way. One can also take a bus or a cab. Alicante is truly a beautiful beach city with a labyrinth of picturesque narrow streets, full of restaurants, bars and cafeterias where one would like to get lost in over and over again. We didn't opt for breakfast at the hotel since we wanted to try the numerous cafeterias around. It was our 3rd visit to Alicante, a short one and we stayed there for a day (we had identified the location to stay at this area during our second visit since our hotel during the 2nd visit was far, and we were not disappointed at all). The staff is excellent, they speak English and are very helpful with information about what we can do and see. We were visiting Alicante during the Easter time and the staff gave us the timings of the parade and also when the shops might be closed for the Easter. Our room overlooking the plaza and with a little view of the sea was big, well lit and comfortable. Would recommend free walking tours which start just 3-4 mins away from the ice cream parlour- Peret on the main promenade on the main road.

Modern spacious open plan room that was extremely clean and had a large comfortable bed. We stayed as a group and had 3 deluxe rooms which were all slightly different in lay out but all of them had tea /coffee facilities ,a mini bar and a small balcony. The bathroom had a walk in shower and separate toilet and was well stocked with toiletries.The hotel is centrally located in a quiet square a short walk from the beach and the castle . There is a small supermarket 20 yds from the hotel in case you need any provisions . Plenty of restaurants and shops near by too. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet with a great selection of cereals, fruit , cold meats and cheeses , fruit juices , pastries , cakes ,bread ,bacon eggs and sausages . Staff were all wonderful ,really friendly and welcoming . We had an early check out on our last day before breakfast commenced so the receptionist arranged for a picnic /take away breakfast for us all which was a nice touch .

Love this hostel! Location was absolutely prime - everything at your doorstep… tram right there, bakery downstairs, all attractions within walking distance, felt safe walking back at night. And even though the streets would be super busy and loud at night, you couldn’t hear a thing from your room. Love the private rooms, the coffee machine, the black out roller shutters. Even though it’s a hostel I hardly ever saw anyone else, so it kind of felt like I had rented an Airbnb all for myself. Love the little balcony for morning coffees. Honestly if you want your own space and quiet, and a hotel vibe, this is the place for you (maybe not if you’re looking for a social hostel though). Julia and staff were super quick to answer any queries I had as well, and were super lovely! Highly recommend.

Clean and functional bedroom. The bathrooms were shared.. but it was 4 rooms and 3 bathrooms so it is almost like having a private one. Check in super easy with the possibility to leave the luggage before and after the stay. I never met anyone from the staff but they were always quick in responding to messages. The apartment is quite nice with a well equipped kitchen. You even have your own space in the fridge! The position is quite central and close to shops, supermarkets and nice restaurants. I honestly liked it more than I expected. Ratio quality price was very good, I think it could be a great option also for longer stays than just one weekend.

I have stayed in hostels all over the world,both short and long term,but Hola is by far the cleanest hostal I've ever stayed in,thanks To Julia and Catherine ( God bless 🇺🇦) the location is 3 minutes from La Rambla,shops restaurants,Irish Pub across the street,Marina and Beach 10 minutes away,24 hr Deli next door,only minus is TV didn't have English speaking channels,hopefully this is fixed,but I had my phone,I would highly recomend Hola both to couples and sola travellers it is simply the Best.Thanks again for the morning TEA,stay safe Viva Ukraine 🇺🇦. My experience at this hostel was amazing. I was able to get a double room even though I was travelling on my own. I liked that I had the room to myself and it really was no bother to share bathrooms, as it's a small hostel with only 5 rooms. The decor is modern and very cosy. The room, bathrooms and the common area were clean and looked freshly renovated. I appreciate getting 2 towels with no extra charge. Good location, friendly staff, fast wifi. This is my definition of a perfect hostel!

Always clean and well maintained, I stayed as a solo traveller 2yrs ago and its still in great shape with firm mattresses and plenty of space to hang clothes. This time I had a twin room with a family member. I love the location and cute kitchen, everything is so tidy, quiet and ideal for a relaxing stay. Tram station only around the corner and old town a stones throw away with the beach a 10min walk and airport bus stop also 5mins away. I would definitely recommend!!
