We booked the Suite Panoramic for 5 nights and it did not disappoint! You will want to live in it! It is the very best view in the entire hotel. No pool or restaurant can exceed it though those views are also lovely. It also sits very close to the Adult Pool. Skip the unit with the pool and book this suite and enjoy the pool next door or your own large terrace. The staff is incredible. Super thoughtful, engaging, warm and knowledgeable. The concierge was incredibly helpful arranging many things in advance so we could dimply enjoy snd relax while we are here. The food and wine so lovely and they can easily accommodate plant-based eaters with tasty foods. Biodynamic wines also available and delicious. A very special place we are grateful to have visited. Highly Highly recommend!!

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful spot on the river. Two lovely restaurants plus a poolside bar with excellent service. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Loved the rooftop pool and the indoor pool in the spa. Great spa too!

This hotel was simply perfect. It was elegant but modern and calmingly designed. The setting was spectacular with infinity pools overlooking the river and room views with expansive windows also overlooking the slowly meandering river. The restaurants were of the highest quality even for a vegetarian couple like us with great choice, ambiance, down to earthness despite the elegance, and just welcoming calming vibes. The spa was fantastic too with a great indoor pool, gym, massages, etc. We have not stayed at a hotel/spa before but this experience is totally worth it (and close to Porto to boot).

The whole complex is located in a very beautiful location in a bend of the Douro river, regardless where you are, in the Pool, restaurant, bar or your room the view is everywhere breathtaking. The 2 infinity pools blend in the scenery superbly. we surely will come back.

Nice hotel, excellent service, bar with pool table which was nice in the evening while sipping our glass of port. Only thing that we didn't really like was the private pool. Guess it hadn't been used in a while because it was filthy. Other than that everything was good.

We booked a room for just 1 night as a little romantic getaway during our holiday in Portugal. Upon arrival the peaceful area in which the hotel is located really soaks you into an relaxing mood. We were welcomed by friendly staff and even tho we arrived a little early, they made sure that our room was clean and ready for us. The room is very clean, nicely decorated and breaths the peaceful environment of the area. The spa facilities are great, we were lucky to have them all to ourselfs. There is an indoor pool, turkish steam sauna, jacuzzi and sauna. Right outside the pool area is enough space to soak up the sun on one of the chairs, a bar and a children playground. The hotel offers a library, pooltable, restaurant, roomservice, minibar, lounge area and enough activities which can be booked as an extra for your stay. Breakfast is included in each booking. Our overall experience is that this was the perfect getaway to really enjoy the peace and eachother.

Stayed with my husband and two children for 1 night before our flight home. The kids loved having some pool time and was nice to have loungers around the edge of the pool. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. Evening meal was great (but did feel sorry for the waiter as he was on his own). Breakfast was very nice and the kids said it's the best hotel breakfast that they have had!

The hotel is a small haven between the forest. Although somewhat difficult to arrive, the commodities immediately invite you into the forest and the hotel providing you a sense of calm and serenity. The room and cleaning of it was perfect, no issues whatsoever. All rooms are located with river view which makes it very beautiful to just stay in the balcony and enjoy. Breakfast is also included and filled with options that cater to every type of guest and for us, made every beginning of day pleasant and filled with food to start. A plus point is that it offered EV charging which made your trip to the hotel and surrounding cities essentially free improving the stay immensely. Definitely coming back in a near future!

The views are incredible and the location is very nice and quiet. The whole house is beautiful with plenty of space and a great outside area with sunchairs, a pool and even some pool toys.

Everything was flawless and I'd like to thank Bruno and Martin once again for a wonderful stay in their beautiful guesthouse. I've been coming to this region for years, mostly for work, and Vintage Balcony is far and away the best place I have stayed. It's comfortable, spotlessly clean and truly feels like a home-away-from-home. The hosts were respectful, warm and thought of everything; anticipating my potential needs and very generously helping me to overcome some transport problems. Their dedication and enjoyment in hosting shines through. Breakfast was perfect - honestly the best bread I have ever enjoyed in Portugal. And the whole house is as beautiful and vibrant as the photos suggest - Bruno and Martin have clearly put a lot of work and love into restoring it to its original state. I stayed in the suite, which was gorgeous and spacious. My bed was very comfortable. And I really appreciated the location - close to where I needed to work, but also with 3 major supermarkets a stone's through away, and not too far a walk from the centre of Ovar. On my last day I cycled to the ocean - there and back in 45 minutes. All in all, I am extremely grateful to have found Vintage Balcony and I will definitely return... next time with my family and not just for work!

Everything!! Bruno is a consummate host who is so attentive to his guests needs. He is quickly responsive to any inquiries and such a friendly and kind person. His guesthouse is an absolute visual artistic delight! Portuguese guesthouse that was spotless, so beautiful to look at. Each room reflective of Portuguese decor and history. The bedroom has plenty of space, and bed is quite comfortable for a restful sleep. There is a beautiful balcony/veranda to relax after a long day of travel, with a garden/pond, friendly dog and pig Lulu! Breakfast was plenty and kitchen amenities were at your disposal. The bathroom spotless and I didn't have to wait. Bruno works hard keeping his place exceptionally clean. The guesthouse is nearby 3 markets ( 5 minutes walk if that) and about a 15 minute direct walk to/from the train station. Very easy to get to the guesthouse from the train station. About a 45 minute Urbano train ride to Porto. Cafes and center of town are very close by and the area is quiet which I appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Vintage Balcony Guesthouse and would stay again for a trip back to Ovar. Bruno and his guesthouse are a gem!

Such a beautiful house! I love that the house has been kept as true to its original state as possible. It feels very homely and has a lovely outdoor seating area just outside the kitchen - perfect spot for a morning coffee. We had the ensuite which was very comfortable and so beautiful with nice views over the small farm over the road. Very quiet even though our room faced the main road and felt very private. It's a 10 min drive from the beach which is a massive plus! We also loved that we were able to bring our dog with us and he was received just as welcomingly as we were. We are already looking forward to coming back in the summer!

Our charming hosts made us feel right at home in their gorgeous historic house. It was such a treat to stay in a restored tradition Portuguese house which still retained its original furniture and decor, however it felt completely contemporary and was very refreshing! We felt at ease and very welcome. Our favourite spot was the balcony. Wow! The breakfast was incredible and went way beyond our expectations. We were offered the fresh baked goods for our packed lunches. So lovely! Our bikes were stored in their garage. The location is in a beautiful town - and a short and easy 40k coastal cycle to Porto!

The place, the people and the animals are amazing. The house is beautiful, you feel that someone put all his heart into it. We felt really comfortable from the beginning, Bruno is a very lovely man, he welcomed us and explained everything and even borrowed us some tools, since we had to fix something on our car. We had a nice little breakfast and some cuddles with the dog and the pig. The showers were really hot, which was also very nice! We would definitely come back here! Thanks a lot for this nice evening/ morning!

Everything!! Last minute booking and what a find!! The place is beautiful. Grounds, reception,room, facilities and breakfast I could honestly not fault. And that’s before I mention the staff. I’m used to excellent customer service in hotels in Portugal but this was without doubt the best I’ve come across. Everything single one of the girls on reception could not have been more helpful. Just first class. I used the gym and the pool which were fantastic, the outdoor seating area was very relaxing and the room spotless and modern (fantastic shower) Mini bar was really good and had complementary coffee and a bottle of water. By chance I arrived at a time then the biggest Medieval festival in Europe was on!! What an experience that was ( transport to the castle and back €5!!) The best hotel I’ve stayed in during my time in Portugal hands down! Try to get anything like this 15 mins away on the coast for less than 3 times what you’ll pay for this hotel! Will definitely check out the other hotel in the Duro Valley! Oh!! And they have a beautiful little friendly rescue dog at reception All the boxes ticked 10/10!

The staff at the hotel were exceptional, in particular Adriana. She gave advice on local restaurants and organised taxis for us; nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were courteous and seemed genuinely happy. Our room was very comfortable, quiet and had all the amenities required. Breakfast offered a wide choice, well presented and delicious. We enjoyed using the gym and swimming pool.

The property was clean and very elegant. Interesting artwork throughout. The staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us additional tea bags when we asked for them at 10:00 at night. The room itself was very comfortable and there was a good selection of different types of pillows. The curtains were so efficient that we slept for 12 hours straight; not something we usually do! The inside garden was quiet and very tranquil. A great place for a morning coffee. The indoor pool was not too cold and was lovely. The breakfast was plentiful and had a lot of variety. They also have lovely little coffee candies distributed throughout the lobby and breakfast room which was a nice touch.

Very spacious bedrooms, extremely comfortable beds & finally a Hotel which provides good pillows of different sizes. Breakfast was a buffet breakfast including fresh, cut fruit, plain & flavoured yoghurts, pastries, cooked options (thankfully with real eggs used for their scrambled eggs & not a powder base mix), bacon, beans, mushrooms, sausage, different breads & rolls, pancakes & crepes, fresh fruit juices…..this was a real treat. The gym is also a large room compared to the norm. The pools are both indoor and outdoor options & yes, they are large. Sauna & steam rooms are poolside inside as is a jacuzzi. Plenty of parking is available on site. Vista Alegre is world renowned and is worth taking the very few steps to visit their shop & their museum, especially off-season when the weather may not be perfect

The facilities were really nice, and the room was quite big and comfortable. The outside pool was quite warm, and it has a smaller pool for kids, which was great.

The bed was super comfy. Pool area beautiful and the pool was a lovely warm temp but also cool enough for a hot day. Breakfast was premium! Every staff member was focused on you feeling relaxed and happy.

We loved the hotel! The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the river. The breakfast had great variety that satisfied the needs of all our family members (and believe me that's not easy). We also loved that the hotel had the indoor swimming pool that we enjoyed in the cold weather. Very highly recommended and definitely will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The staff was friendly , helpful and professional. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool and exercise room. The breakfast buffet wes excellent! We also enjoyed the Vista Alegre ceramics on display and neighboring museum.

Beautiful room beside pool and a great breakfast

Nice modern hotel on the canal bank in central Aveiro within easy reach ( walking distance ) of the town centre and the canal boat rides. The hotel has good facilities including lifts ( small ) , well maintained clean modern rooms with all the usual facilities. Air con , tv with lots of English Language programs , continental breakfast but better than average with scrambled eggs , bacon and pancakes along side the usual fare . Great position as easy walking distance to the town centre , normal and tourist shops , boat rides , lots of pavement cafe and restaurants . Great base for a few days in Aveiro . I did get stuck in the lift twice , the receptionist suggested that as the lift would only take 300Kg that might be the problem , I assure you I am not 300Kg ! So either receptionist doesn’t speak good English or she’s very rude .

Loved the hotel it was very easy to find we paid extra for a canal view which was lovely. Tea and coffee and biscuits in the room all welcome. Toiletries in the bathroom were very nice and a big bath towel! There wasn't a huge amount for breakfast but was more than enough to fill your plate over and over. The coffee was delicious! Parking isn't on site but you can drop your bags at the door and the car park isn't far to walk- we paid €8 with a card from reception. The staff were lovely. Would highly recommend.

The location is good, near the city center with all the restaurants nearby, the staff are very kind, they let us park our baby stroller at the reception. The room were spotless and comfy! The bathroom was also spacious and had also amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and hair drier. There are a small lift that is very helpful and we had breakfast one day and it was delicious (Yougurth, Eggs, Bacon, Pastel de Nata, fruits, cheese and ham, coffee, etc). We parked our car in the street back of the hotel, we paid using euro coins with the parking machine.

We chose the hotel for its location overlooking the canals and were not disappointed. The old town is just a few minutes walk away and all the sights are easy to get to. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We appreciated the kettle, coffee, tea and bisquits. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially like to mention Nahra who was so helpful when we arrived rather tired and worn out after being caught up in the forest fires. Lovely Breakfast buffet, overall good value.

The buffet breakfast was superb. There was a wide variety of foods, for both he European and American palates. The space was elegantly decorated, and the space very comfortable with a feeling of relaxed refinement. I took lots of photos; see the photos attached to this review. The location was excellent, centrally located, convenient, and, when the construction completes across the way, immediately adjacent to a beautiful park; the Moliceiro's location will be the envy of many hotels in Aveiro. The room was very elegant with real wood paneling, a very comfortable bed, and ample closet space (see photos). Also, an important point is that the safe is large enough to fit a large laptop and other things such as notebooks, passports, cash, etc. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Diana and Domingos speak very very good English. And they were extremely helpful in calling taxis for me, telling the taxi exactly where to meet me, recommending restaurants, places to go, and many other things. I had to ship a large suitcase back to the US. I use a service called MyBaggage.com. This time there was a minor hitch with the local company who was assigned to pick up the baggage to be shipped. The Moliceiro front desk staff followed up with me, even calling me after I had departed for Italy to ensure that they kept me apprised of the pick up status and when confirming that the suitcase had been picked up.

We have stayed here before and always do when we come to Aveiro. We absolutely love it and feel like it’s home away from home. The staff are fantastic and breakfast most enjoyable ! We booked directly with the hotel and we appreciate so so much the fact that they were so understanding and helpful when our flight was delayed more than 12 hours. They reimbursed us gladly and we rebooked for another night. The hotel rooms are beautiful and clean and the hotel is in a lovely central location by the river. It’s a calm and peaceful place. Good value for money.

The location is perfect because it's very central and close to the downtown area. The room was huge, lots of space, couches to sit on, a desk to work at, a fridge, and slippers. The breakfast was incredible; I've never seen so much food of such high quality! One note was the late checkout, this is great and allowed us to go out in the morning, come back to pack and not have to rush anything!

The hotel location is excellent and very close to everything (opposite the cruise departure stations). The reception staff and the bartender were very, very nice. The room was spacious, cozy with excellent bedding and bed. In honor of my wife's birthday and wedding anniversary, they surprised us with an upgrade and beautiful gestures. The breakfast is excellent and overall our stay at the hotel was excellent.

The location and their friendly helpful reception staff. He was very helpful to guide me to buy a parking pass online to park in the new underground carpark in front of hotel. Very comfy room that overlooks the busy streets and river. We also got good recommendations on where to have dinner. Breakfast buffet is a good spread to sample popular local desserts.

In Nov 2023, Our drive from Sintra to Porto took us through Casas típicas de Costa Nova. Nice country drive, instead of a highway full of trucks. We had a delicious lunch in Dori restaurant in Costa Nova, took pictures of the colorful houses, then we continued our trip. We spent one night at hotel Farol. We chose this hotel instead of the commercial touristy area of Aveiro. Our room was spacious on the second floor. Had a big terrace (table and chairs) and a great view of the Farol de Aveiro lighthouse. We watched ships coming and going at the entrance of the river while drinking a glass of wine. Breakfast was plentiful and staff was friendly. We parked in front of the hotel. Free wifi was excelent Hotel Farol exceded our expectation.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was great, with the bar and two beaches right outside. The hotel felt very safe. The air conditioning unit in the room was great and much needed! There are lots of good restaurants (various cuisines) within 15 minutes walk of the hotel. We paid for breakfast and it was excellent with a wide selection and helpful staff. I would highly recommend this destination to friends and family.

Perfect place when visiting Aveiro! The bed was so comfortable, the shower was spacious, and the balcony had a beautiful view of the lighthouse. We loved this place so much that we didn't want to leave. Breakfast was excellent. There is also a cafe right by the corner of the hotel. Space was so clean and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!

As usual, everything. But for me, the welcome and goodbye from the staff means so much. Yes, the location is fantastic, rooms amazing, breakfast (in the new beautiful room!) is fabulous…but it’s the staff who make this a special place and why I keep returning.

The location was perfect. And the room was nicely appointed and larger than most rooms in Portugal. The staff was very helpful in orienting us to both the beach and the city of Aveiro especially Renauta. Breakfast was very good with fresh food anytime something ran out.

The hotel has a very interesting atmosphere, it looks almost like a museum. The room was quite large and very clean, cool even though it was very warm outside. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was of good size, modern and with a nice shower. The breakfast buffet was quite varied for portuguese standards and very tasty as well. The breakfast lady was specially friendly and helpful. The pool was very clean and refreshing for the hot days. The bar at the pool had good prices and the staff was very friendly. The location in Luso was great, 2 minutes walking to the St. João Fountain, very near restaurants and the Buçaco Palace.

We spend in hotel four nights as my nephew participated in compition. The hotel is one of the oldest in Portugal (how we understood) so don't expect any new things, but for us it was perfect. The breakfast sattisfated us, swimming pool was great and even can enjoy with coctails (very kind girle who works in bar). The parking is safe, but hotel not guarentee that you will have space. However we spend good time and the staff was very friendly.

Really loved our stay. Staff is really friendly. The bedroom was pretty big for the 3 of us. As for the hotel itself, it feels you are staying inside a museum, everywhere you look theres something that alludes to the history of the hotel which made it really charming. Was also really nice to lounge at the pool. Good breakfast too. Would def stay again

Breakfast was great, very complete and tasty. All the staff were extremely nice. The owner of the hotel explainned us the history behind the hotel which was amazing. It is a Kids friendly hotel, with an amazing pool and garden with a gazeboo. In this hotel you can breath history, is very beautiful and well-conserved and is a gem in the Bussaco.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Aveiro Center and had a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable – just a short walk from the canals and historic sites, making it perfect for exploring the charm of Aveiro. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions. My room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh pastries, delicious coffee, and even a pancake machine – a great way to start the day! A few minor points – the street-facing rooms can get a bit noisy in the evenings, and the parking situation can be a little challenging, but these were small inconveniences in an otherwise excellent stay. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Aveiro Center for its convenience, comfort, and welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to this beautiful city.

This was a great hotel. Nice clean room that was perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to the canal, gondola tours, shopping centre and restaurants. The staff was really helpful. We opted for private parking which was below the nearby mall - the hotel provides a swipe card and directions. A short walk back to the hotel, but felt very safe about leaving the rental car there.

THE best breakfast we had while staying at various hotels in Portugal, fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful too, sorting a taxi in the morning and explaining all things to do in the area. Location is excellent, and it was lovely and quiet. Very clean throughout too. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

Lovely small hotel at the heart of aveiro. Room small but very comfortable with AC, tea, coffee and water, and mimi fridge. Breakfast was great continental style with real honeycomb, pancake maker and usual cheese meats and pastries. Very clean and staff very helpful. Restaurant across road does superb fresh fish dishes and the perch is a must.

The hotel is located nearby the city centre in a very quiet area. The atmosphere inside the hotel is nice, comfortable and the hotel staff (all of them) are always willing to help you, specially Maria,one of the most smiling and professional recepcionst we've ever dealt with. It's a highly recommendable place.

Great location for walking around the center of Aviero. Beds were comfortable, hotel is nicely decorated, easy to navigate. The Breakfast is excellent with so many local choices. The spa and gym are nice to have. If you need a massage ask for Ana--she is amazing. The spa is lovely for an hour, too.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern, it was great. The breakfast was incredible, you had a lot of diversity and options. Overall a great stay for Aveiro, as it's a nice short walk to the most touristic and historical part of the city.

The location was perfect, it was near many restaurants, cafe’s, breakfast places, etc….. the hotel and room were very very clean. The view from the rooftop breakfast bar are really awesome. The thing that stood out above it all was the staff. The staff were all so friendly and helpful always. I can stress that enough. The cleaning staff was amazing!!! They went above and beyond with our stuff also

The staff was lovely. We were welcomed by Jessica at check in and she was super helpful and friendly. We made use of room service and the staff was also very lovely and efficient. The room was spacious, the bed large and very comfortable, and the bath water powerful. The parking for the car was very convenient and worked very well as everything is within walking distance.

Ideally located for Camino right in centre of town. All staff extremely helpful. All areas of hotel very clean. We had a large double bed and lovely en-suite. Hotel has a great rooftop bar/breakfast area. Same no one using it but you can access the outdoor space up here with panoramic views of town.

Proximity to railway/bus station but railway staff on strike .. no fault for hotel though recked my plans. Parking excellent..loved the koi carp in garden pool.

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the station, and relatively small size. It instantly appealed to us with the warm and friendly welcome - a bonus that to our surprise our room was ready in spite of us arriving before the check-in time. It reminded us of a typically charming and traditional resort-type of a hotel. It was also situated in a peaceful neighbourhood but just a few minutes walk away from the shops and tourist areas. A particular bonus was that unlike other 'traditional' hotels, which can have a tired appearance and unloved appearance, the Veneza was modern and appealing with a stylish and quality appearance. We particularly loved the intimate bar area. If we return to Aveiro the Veneza will be our first choice.

The hotel was only a few minutes walk from the train station and there’s also a bus station very close to that. The main area that people visit is less than a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is a beautiful entrance, a small, welcome, glass of wine, elevator, beautiful, woodwork, and carpeting, and my room was wonderfully spacious. It also had a nice desk where I could lay out maps and make some further plans on my trip. Plus, there was a small fridge, which is great because I tend not to be able to eat a whole meals anymore so it was easy to keep the leftovers.

The property is well appointed, comfortable and well located within the city of Aveiro, you can walk or take a short drive to most places and the train station is an easy 2 block walk. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and kind, just great! I cannot say enough good things about them! In addition I lost my bracelet in the lobby and the staff have been so great coordinating with me to mail it back to me in the USA. Really a wonderful stay and experience! I highly recommend.

Perfectly charming and perfectly located! Two bloocks from train station and a very short walk to the "city center" down the main boulevard. So many places to have a coffee, pastry, stop in a boutique, market. Room was very spacious and double sink in bathroom! The staff was so helpful with every little request (tea, snack, directions) and with my train travel back to Lisbon. Cant say enough and loved that it felt more local and authentic due to location and aesthetic. Go to Aveiro and stay here!

This Grande Hotel is indeed grande! It is superbly maintained for a structure built in 1908. I stayed one night on a solo trip; it was definitely one of the best in Portugal. They have giant pools, both outdoor and (heated) indoor. The dinner was excellent and suprisingly reasonable. The bed was comfy and the parking was free. It's only got one elevator that I could see, but it was quick and quiet. The price in April was incredibly cheap! I had room and half board for under 100 Euros! It's a bit hard to get to, as it's about 18 km from Coimbra, mainly on back roads. You should try this place, I loved it!!!!

This was my second visit, a perfect hotel for a visit to the spa, with its own indoor and outdoor pool. Rooms are good, very comfortable and a good price for the facilities offered.

Amazing hotel. Large pool. Biliard room. Very nice rooms. Great breakfast. It was one of the best stays in Portugal. Great value with teenagers. We would love to come back here.

I stayed here while walking the Camino Portugues as it was full in San Joao de Madeira that night (Easter holidays) and this was a really pleasant surprise. Room was great, a proper hotel room with everything I needed, plus a big balcony where I got to watch a surprise Easter procession outside. Breakfast was included and had good options. Plus the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again.

Really nice hotel with everything you might need. The room was spacious and had a balcony which is quite nice! They offer you a hairdryer at reception and you've got everything you need in the room. Clean, comfortable, great communication. Breakfast is also a bonus.

The hotel is very well equipped and the room was big and comfortable, we enjoyed a nice meal and the staff was friendly, I was surprised to see options without lactose at breakfast as I never saw a hotel provide it and I'm intolerant.

A good hotel with clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Nice selection of breakfast in a bright and airy dining room. Located in the picturesque, pleasant town of Santa Maria da Feira with bars and restaurants nearby. Views towards the Castle in some rooms.

We like everything. The room was big and clean. The staff from the reception was verry nice. The breakfast was verry consistant and you had the possibility to choose from diverent tipes of food.

Such a great hotel! Tucked away in a quiet side street but still close to the beach and town. I was lucky enough to have a balcony overlooking the pool which means a great sea view too. The rooms are huge, spotless and beautifully furnished. Bed is big and comfy and bathrooms are really nice. Good breakfast, with fresh juice, was a real bonus. And to top it off the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Oh and it’s got a great pool with tons of loungers.

The staff was awesome (not so much at the reception, but everywhere else - pool, bar, cleaning... Amazing staff, very nice and helpful!). The pool was a lifesaver.

Good hotel location - only a short walk down to the town. We had a sea and pool view from room which had a massive very comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful. Food in the restaurant was very good for lunch. Complimentary welcome drink was a nice touch (soft drinks only!). Pool is nice to have especially when the sea is a bit too wavy for swimming safely. There's a big supermarket very close by.

I would highly recommend hotel Monte Lírio to anyone! We got the best treatment! Very professional, helpful and amazing staff. We even got our breakfast on the go as we were checking out early. The rooms are clean, spacious with a balcony. The food is fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Hotel is located very close to the beach, just a 10-15min walk away, there's also a Continente shop along the way. I loved the fact that it's a bit further from Espinho centre as it seemed more peaceful. Thank you for welcoming us at your hotel! We enjoyed our stay and will hold great memories of our holiday! ❤️

The hotel is very good. Very clean. Comfortable. There is a garage under the hotel. We really liked the atmosphere – peaceful and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly, both at the reception and in housekeeping. We also enjoyed the pool and the surrounding area. The sea is within walking distance, with a wide beach. It’s a perfect place to unwind and escape from stress – no loud music or crowds. Breakfast was good as well. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!
