Our room was lovely. We had a terrace and plunge pool which we took advantage of. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location was great and I would definitely stay here again should I return to Barcelona.

Plunge pool and terrace were fantastic . The small bistro/bar was excellent and offered beautiful food at very reasonable prices. The wines and beers were cheap in comparison with Scotland. Mirival rose wine at 6.80 euros a glass ! Various places in Scotland charge around 12 GBP. ! We have a great deal to learn in the UK if we want people to eat and drink in the hospitality industry No wonder this bar was always busy with customers.Thw staff were always smiling and helpful unlike the UK . The only negative point I can say is although the breakfast was very good I thought at 25 euros per person a little overpriced when it was very easy to get an excellent breakfast outside for 15 euros each

The location is ideal — right by Plaça Catalunya, surrounded by countless shops (Primark, Zara, Desigual, etc.), supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés. Most major attractions are within walking distance, and there's both a metro and taxi station just outside the hotel — super convenient. We stayed in a junior suite with a private pool, which was a real treat. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Belen at reception, who helped us with a last-minute extra night after our flight was canceled. She handled everything kindly and efficiently, and we were happy to stay in the same room for a fair price. Reliable Wi-Fi and good overall service — we highly recommend.

We had the room with the plunge pool on our terrace. It was lovely to come home from a hot day of lots of walking and exploring to sit out on our terrace in the pool and cool down and unwind before going back out for dinner. The location of the Hotel was perfect for exploring and getting about.

Our room was upgraded to one with a terrace and private pool! That was great. Valentina at reception was extremely helpful.

I upgraded at check-in and had the most beautiful room with a terrace which had a plunge pool… it was really nice :)

Location was perfect, great building, good facilities, pool on roof, well equipped gym and private parking. Comfortable room with terrace and plunge pool, great surprise. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are really nice, clean and comfortable. The pool area made it for us. A nice space to relax while the kids played in the pool. Food was exceptional and the restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel and staff; warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the glass of complimentary Cava on arrival. My room was street facing with a little balcony (though with it being a heatwave during my visit the windows weren't open that much!) The room was an ideal size and the bed was extremely comfortable. There's an excellent rainfall shower and soap, shampoo and conditioner in dispensers located in the shower cubicle (good quality too!). I didn't get time to try out the pool but I did take a quick look the day I arrived and it was busy with guests. There's a lovely terrace and bar area just beside the pool. The hotel is perfectly located for getting around the major tourist attractions as well as the many 'off the beaten track' experiences this wonderful city has to offer. The metro and bus service couldn't be easier to navigate - you really don't need to use taxis in this city, but there are PLENTY if walking is not your thing. All in all I felt this hotel was exceptional value for money in a fab location. Highly recommended.

Hotel is in great location for exploring Gothic Quarter and El Born neighborhood. Really close to everything and easy to taxi around. Got a free welcome Cava which was nice. Didnt use the pool but pool area was cute. You have shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in room which is always good to have.

Perfect location, right in the heart of the city centre. Shops, Restaurants, Cafe’s, all within easy walking distance, as are many of the cities sights including some Gaudí buildings. Beautiful period building hotel, but modern inside, with sun terrace, a small pool. Beautiful breakfasts too. Staff at the hotel were all 10/10, so helpful with everything. Could not ask for more.

Excellent location and staff. We had a terrace with a plunge pool which was great after all the walking we were doing. The staff also gives really good recommendations for local restaurants for tapas and other food.

The best bit about the property was our room. We booked the room with the huge terrace and private pool and it was fantastic. I would book it again for that room alone. It was also a very nice touch that the hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of cava.

The hotel was absolutely amazing! It was centrally located, with a beautiful verandah and plunge pool to enjoy the afternoon and evening despite the heat. Easy walk to all kinds of amazing sites. Couldn't be happier with the choice! We traveled with our family including a 3 and 4 year old, and it was a great experience. The staff was very helpful and gracious with us.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, that was the main reason for choosing this hotel. Check-in was fast and professional, thanks to the friendly member of staff at reception Kenia. Got offered room 301 a very spacious room. There is a lot of room to place luggage, a large bathroom, huge vanity table, mini fridge, seating etc. Mattresses were a little bit on the "springy" side, but did have a good night of sleep. The pool area was very clean and looks recently renovated. The pool is a plunge pool not a swimming pool but works perfect for getting refreshed after a hot day in the city.

The hotel is located nicely, near the city center, every city attraction can be reached easily by a short walk, bus or subway, which is just around the corner. The staff at the hotel reception is just excellent - friendly, always smiling and willing to help/advise any guest. We had a small problem with one of the sunshades which has been fixed immediately thanks to the ladies at reception. During hot summer days and calm warm evenings the private pool is absolutely amazing! The view of the city from the terrace and pool is just beautiful and incredibly relaxing (especially at sunsets). We absolutely loved our stay in this lovely and pleasant hotel. Many thanks to its staff!

We arrived and found that the room I had rented was not very large so I went down to the front desk and inquired as to whether we could get a larger room. I was booked to one on the top floor that had a balcony and a small pool. It was too cool to get in the pool. The room was quiet and clean. The staff is lovely and took great care of us. The breakfast was pretty good. And the location is awesome. I would stay in that room again. Thanks for our great stay.

Ignacio, at the front desk, was the most welcoming, informative, and friendly host throughout our stay. He suggested where to visit in Barcelona and Madrid (or next stop) with super helpful tips, hailed a taxi for us, and ensured we had a wonderful time! Excellent customer service!! Our room itself was spectacular with a view of Barcelona, an outdoor bed, lounge chairs, and pool. Definitely worth the extra cost for the luxury experience. Free breakfast was super convenient as well! Highly recommend.

Over-all, the place was very cute and enjoyable. We enjoy finding boutique places to stay when we travel abroad and I will definitely recommend this one. Was disappointed that the pool’s jets were not working and a few very minor cosmetic issues here and there. But, nothing to write home about. The terrace was spacious, we had two other couples visit us up there and plenty of room to socialize.

One of the best hotel beds I've ever slept on!!! We upgrade our superior room to the deluxe for 12 euros, & it was very much worth it. The room was a pink/purple color scheme which we loved, the bed was the most comfortable bed we've EVER slept in, and the balcony had an AMAZING view. Our room was very clean & comfortable. I wished we had stayed more days here just to relax. Also, right outside the hotel on the corner, was a taxi spot so it was super easy for us to catch a taxi. It was also within 5 minute walking distance to the metro. We didn't do the breakfast option, so not sure how breakfast is.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel. Beyond its excellent location near Plaça de Catalunya and everything around it, the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly. We received outstanding service from the entire team—always smiling, kind, and highly attentive. They went above and beyond when I requested a late check-out, allowing me to stay at the hotel until my taxi arrived. I did not have breakfast included in my stay, so I cannot provide feedback on that. There is a gym and a pool, but I did not use them. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future. A special thank you to the front desk staff, who were always helpful and responsive to any request or question. Thank you 🙏🏻

What a beautiful hotel. Room was very large and spacious. Beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on and I have travelled vastly. Friendly, helpful staff. Amazing location for restaurants, cafes, the large shopping centre directly opposite. The mall 5 minutes walk, lovely balcony, great views and very quiet. Pool was great, and dining room food, affordable and delicious. Well done.

The girls in the desk were super awesome and very helpful. All the staff were nice. The room is big and comfortable. Very clean and new. Loved it!!! We also loved the pool very much.

Wonderful hotel in the vibrant Placa Reial. It has its own restaurant on the square where they also serve an excellent breakfast. They have a great terrace with a bar and a plunge pool on the roof. Our terrific room had a balcony over the square. Best hotel we’ve stayed in Barcelona and we’ve stayed in a few mostly in the La Rambla, Gothic area.

I loved the room i was staying in, in big part because of the private pool on the terrace with a city view. But the inside of the room/bathroom was also nice and comfortable. The room cleaning was efficient and kept the room clean. I liked the decoration and style. The staff was very nice and the overall service efficient.

This was my second time staying here, and I love everything about this hotel. This location remains one of my favorite hotel experiences in Europe. It's very accessible to everything in Barcelona, and it's really well decorated. The rooms are modern and spacious with really high ceilings. I was upgraded when I checked in and got to stay in a king suite on the 1st floor, which meant I had a private patio up against the pool area -- very cool! I appreciated getting that upgrade after they realized I was a returning guests. Speaking of, the staff here are unbeatable. They're genuinely very friendly and will do anything whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. This hotel has many little details too -- water in the lobby, an attached restaurant and bar, a business center, a pool lounge, and even a solarium in the center of the lobby. You can't go wrong with this hotel!

We got a surprised upgrade with terrace. Even though we did not use it that much (due to travel time during Feb.) but would imagine it would be of a great fun during summer time. + Breakfast is very good, both in terms of variety and quality.

I selected this Catalonia property based on reviews and location. It was convenient to the metro, walking to sights, and restaurants. What we liked: Location Decent sized room Nice eco products Breakfast Beautiful property Nice pool area Friendly staff Quiet rooms (note- interior terrace rooms overlook the pool, which might affect noise level if pool is in use) What could be improved: •The pillows were terrible •Sheets were thin and felt cheap •Housekeeping didn’t take our used towels that were left on the floor, but put them back (obviously dirty) on the tub •Housekeeping didn’t replace used glasses in the bathroom •the bathroom door (on the inside) had mystery residue on it. • the shower’s hot water valve was a little quirky But in spite of the above negative notes, I would definitely stay here again. I would ask if there were other pillow options, and request a front facing room above the second floor.

This hotel stood out for the staff dedication. Everyone was warm, friendly, and hardworking. They paid attention to detail. They worked hard to ensure our comfort. The location is central. The property is well maintained. The pool area is small but comfortable. The exercise room is small but functional. I wish we didn't have a room that faced an internal wall-- although the wall was painted cheerfully... it was still a wall-- request a room that faces the pool or street. The advantage of facing the wall was it was a quiet room. The air conditioning could only go down to 21C so we were warm...in May. I can't imagine the summer is comfortable. Breakfast was decent but not fantastic.

Great value for a beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast, super friendly service, and very very convenient to everything. Beds were comfortable, heating and A/C both worked well, lots of closet and drawer space, nice bathroom nice pool. Parking available on site! A bit expensive but if you rent a car for 1 or 2 days of your stay it's great to have.

A true gem in the heart of Barcelona. We loved the complimentary welcome drink and the space by the pool to relax and enjoy the weather. Comfortable beds, a nice lobby, friendly staff, and nice little extras made the stay enjoyable. Walkable too so many of the must-see sight of the city.

Loved our stay! Staff was welcoming and helpful. Fantastic location. The airport aerobús dropped us off a block from the hotel. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Love that they have a handheld as well as the rain shower head as it helps with bathing kids. The pool area was small but nice. Didn’t get to swim since it was too cold. There is a small gym which was nice. Best area I think as it was walkable to barrio gótico, sagrada family and la rambla. It also felt very safe. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. They had yogurt and great topping selections including chia seed. And smoked salmon, a coffee machine with various types of coffee selections. Rooms are not huge but we had enough space for a family of four. The beds were very comfortable. They brought us new towels even though we didn’t ask and one of the beds had railing guards even though we didn’t request them for the kids. Nice ambiance and decor. Just wonderful all around.

Our junior suite with a small shallow pool on the balcony was unique and enjoyed by our grandchildren during the hot afternoons. The hotel was across the street from El Corte Ingles shopping mall which has a market and food stalls in the basement and was super convenient to buy drinks, snacks, pastries and Iberico ham. McDonalds was 2 doors away. Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas were a short walk away. We can access most of the Gothic Quarters without taxi's and caught the hop-on-hop-off bus at Placa Catalunya. Hotel staff was very friendly and greeted us each time we entered the lobby. We chose this Catalonia Hotel for its central location, metro access and being close to the airport express bus stop.

Lovely and quiet hotel despite it being in a central location. The room was very clean and spacious for our family of 4, with comfortable beds! The only thing I would add is a hook for the hand towel by the sink. Check-in was smooth and we were shown up to our room. The buffet breakfast was delicious, we recommend adding it! The outdoor pool was wonderful to cool off in. All the staff were pleasant. Great central location. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

We had an amazing stay at Catalonia Ramblas. The staff couldn’t be room helpful. The room was a dream. It had its own private roof top pool and sundeck, with 2 loungers, cabana and table and chairs. Great views over the city. In addition there is another pool and pool bar with access for all hotel guests. The breakfast was included with the suite which had a good selection for all tastes. Location was brilliant at the top end of La Ramblas but off the main drag so it wasn’t too noisy at night. Plenty of restaurants. Scobies pub was a regular visit and walking round the city all day. Recommend Kemo for so Asian food. Our only slight complaint was the floor in our room could have done with a good mop and hoover as was alittle dusty. Apart from that it was flawless and we will definitely be returning.

Nice location and good food also great facilities and nice service. Hope can open one slot indoor pool for the kids during the winter time. The kids was a little disappointed about the outside pool in this cold weather.

The hotel is great and we’d happily stay again however…… - there a great terrace on the 6th for but no drinks / food up there and no music. It’s a great design and comfort so surprising that nothing is up there in terms of entertainment. - the pool is fine for a city hotel however if it were open till say 9pm it would be much better. - the room was very comfortable but I requested single beds for my kids but they couldn’t accommodate so had to sleep in a double. Admittedly the double bed was massive so issues but still…… The rest - food very good. Drinks very good. Area in and around the pool and eating area very good. Cleanliness fantastic. Bathroom size along with fixtures and fittings are 5*. Room size and comfort very good. Location is perfect. 5* in that aspect.

Stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 children. The location is fantastic and makes getting around really easy. The hotel itself was immaculate and the food we had each morning at breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed the pool each day although the weather wasn’t the best for us. Our first room was very basic and had a sofa bed rather than a second bed which we had booked. The hotel staff were able to relocate us for the second 2 nights and the next room was far superior. There was a small bar in the lobby which was handy and the pool bar served nice food and was reasonably priced.

A very nice boutique hotel away from the noise of La Ramblas. Staff was very helpful. Rooms are a bit small and the pool and lounge area around the pool is smaller than my backyard. Would recommend for solo travellers or couples. Very close to everything!!

Wished the pool was open later. 8 pm was very early for the pool to close.

Hotel was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and the shower large. Toilet was separate and the sink area semi-open. I had a quiet superior room on the back of the hotel on the 8th floor looking out towards the harbour and Montjuic. Check-in was efficient and staff very friendly. I loved having a bathrobe and slippers. Quality toiletries are eco-friendly. I had breakfast once which was good value for 12 €. Free 1 litre water bottle and chocolate per day. Enjoyed the small unheated pool and sun loungers on the 1st floor terrace a couple of times. La Rambla, the harbour and downtown all within 25 - 30 min walking distance. Casa Battlo 10 min away. Would love to stay again in the future.

Very convenient location near Plaça Catalunya and La Rambla. Luxury boutique hotel, with all modern amenities. the online photos are true of the quality of the room. Clean and very helpful friendly staff. The only thing to be aware of as other reviewers have noted is that the rooms are VERY bijou. Perfect for solo traveller, couple or short stay (we spent one night). Other than that - which is not an issue unless you intend to stay in the room - would highly recommend. Although we didn’t use it the gym, pool and dining lounge all looked great.

Dank günstigem Preis ist dieser exklusive Aufenthalt überhaupt erschwinglich, Schnarchtöne aus dem Nachbarzimmer hin oder her. Saubere Küche, zahlreiche intime Plätzchen im gestuften Garten, Swimmingpool, Riesenbalkon und Dachterrasse mit Stadtsicht... Last but not least die aufmerksame und äusserst freundliche Hausangestellte!

Rebeca was a very accomodating and transparent host. Very helpful and always responsive to my messages. Villa is beautiful and well kept, located on north side of city with great views looking out to the coast. Recommend this place for big groups.

Great views and excellent indoor outdoor living spaces. The level of privacy is great as one ensuite room is downstairs near the pool and upstairs is the whole villa with a great deck. Decor is very tasteful. Property manager gave exceptional service. A wonderful space to enjoy with family and friends.

Nacho was super kind and very helpful. The swimming pool was fantastic. The view is spectacular. It a quiet area, ideal to rest and enjoy the peace and quiet. Interior decoration was cozy. Kitchen had everything needed.

Our host Nacho welcomed us at the house and explained very clearly everything we needed to know about the house and Barcelona. He also shared with us many tips for good food and attractions all around Barcelona. If we had any question, he would respond quickly with useful information. We were extremely happy to have Nacho as our host and we would recommend him to anyone. Many compliments to him! The house is situated in a nice neighborhood and has a fantastic view over Barcelona and the sea. Also the swimming pool is very nice.

Maria, Antonio and Raquel are great hosts. We first had contact with Maria and Antonio and at location Raquel was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the house and the neighborhood. The property is great from the outside and wonderful from the inside. The outside garden with the pool and BBQ are a big plus!

Great location, just outside of the city centre so you are away from the husstle when you want a break. Easy access to matro and buses (and about 30 mins walk from Park Guell and La Sagrada). Hosts available to answer any questions and made good recommendations. Neaby restaurants and supermarket for supplies as needed. Pool is secluded and terrace gets a good ammount of sun. I would definitley recommend this for families wishing to stay in the city but who also value a bit of space at the end of a busy day.

We loved every aspect of this hotel. We arrived at 9pm and were able to get an excellent meal in the dining room which was busy. Breakfast the next morning was great with lots of choice. We didn't fly out until 9pm and were able to use the pool until we left. The pool is exceptional. We used the free shuttle to and from the airport. The room was large, quite and had blackout curtains. Excellent value for money.

The room was really nice and the bed big and very comfortable. We had five pillows to choose from. Wonderful! The shower worked well and everything was clean. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to/ from the airport. It works well and is really convenient. We had dinner at the downstairs restaurant. The food was good and the price range surprisingly reasonable. The breakfast has a lot of options to choose from. There is a nice outside pool with loungers and pool towels.

Great location, close to the airport for late night arrival. Large modern property with great facilities. Late night bar and restaurant. Food service available when we arrived at 11pm. Room was modern, complimentary mini bar, coffee maker, comfy bed and great shower.. Gorgeous breakfast with lots to choose from and lots of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the early morning sunshine. We stayed here for one night pre cruise, there is a taxi rank right outside the front entrance. 20 minutes from the port of Barcelona. We will definitely stay here again.. ( there is also a lovely pool and outdoor area but we didn’t get to use this facility)

Our stay at Indigo Hotel Barcelona Plaza Espana was already fantastic, but what truly set it apart was the outstanding customer care. When we accidentally left behind my daughter’s beloved stuffed rabbit, the hotel went above and beyond to not only help us retrieve it but to turn the situation into a beautiful memory. The team carefully packed the rabbit, added thoughtful little gifts for my daughter, and even created a heartwarming story about how her rabbit had enjoyed an extended holiday at the hotel. We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful , clean hotel with a spacious comfortable room (an upgrade ) . It is in a great location and also offers a delicious breakfast . What resonated with us the most was the excellent care and friendly outstanding customer service of the staff. I am sorry I did not note down your name , but a kind gentleman at the front desk let us do an early check in due to availability which was wonderful after a flight from Texas . We also got personal recommendations for a vegetarian restaurant from Ricardo who also made us a reservation. We had such a lovely time. To Umut , Julien , Sandra , Ricardo , Ainha, Carlos , Alex, Renat , Dany and everyone else - we thank you for making our trip so special . I would love to come back one day.

We stayed here for just one night, and it was an excellent choice. The location is very convenient – right next to a metro station and only about 30–40 minutes to Barcelona Airport by public transport. There’s also a direct airport shuttle bus that takes just 15–20 minutes (around €7.50). The hotel is freshly renovated, modern, and equipped with high-end amenities: bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, and more. The restaurant was very good. We didn’t book breakfast, but we ordered a few snacks in the evening and were pleasantly surprised with two complimentary glasses of champagne and a small treat, as we were celebrating a birthday – a lovely gesture. Overall, a modern hotel with great amenities and excellent service – perfect for a short stay in Barcelona.

The Indigo is a modern hotel, with nicely appointed rooms. The staff members were young, fun and friendly. The bed was comfy, the linens and towels were fresh and clean, and the room had everything a traveler would typically need - in-room coffee, fridge, safe, etc. Breakfast is not included and quite expensive, but there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The location is great with the Plaza Espana Metro about 5 minutes from the front door. A 10 min walk will get you to the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc (currently closed), but just beyond that you will find the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya where you can relax and admire some artworks that date back several hundreds of years.

The location is fantastic — there’s a supermarket nearby, and it’s easy to reach La Rambla, Casa Batlló, and other famous landmarks. Most sights are within a 7-minute walk from the hotel. In the room, we also had a kettle with coffee, tea, and milk, which was a nice and convenient touch. They surprised me with a lovely birthday gesture: a bottle of quality champagne in an ice bucket, chocolates, and glasses brought to our room. It was such a thoughtful touch — I truly appreciate this level of care for guests.

This is my favorite hotel in Barcelona. Each time I visit Barcelona I go to this hotel. It is not my first time and will not be the last one. Although this time there was some small problems, however I found great support from the amazing staff. Special thanks to the reception manager Christophe and also Robert who is really decent and cooperative person. Regarding the restaurant, there are 2 polite and helpful persons, Rossana and Evelin who is always smiling with guests and providing high quality of service.

In priority: 1) The rooms had tall ceilings, refrigerator, beautiful balcony and comfortable bed. Bathroom included a hot tub. Both the master bath and living room looked out on the balcony. 2) The breakfast was not short of spectacular everyday. Similar in quality to a cruise liner. Something for everyone and all nationalities . 3) The front desk made it a point to accommodate guests. Flag taxis down. Insure guests were equipped with abundant coffee in their rooms. Very pleasant. Worked hard to please.

I stayed here with my son for 3 nights. We'd got an excellent deal for the hotel. It was room only. Check in was a bit slow but we were given a complementary drink while we waited. The staff in this hotel were absolutely amazing. They were so friendly & couldn't do enough for us. The location is fantastic. Can't comment on the food because we didn't eat there

I believe that the water isn't heated, but it's refreshing to go in the pool when it's hot outside. The drinks at the bar were also very delicious! I saw a review of someone saying that the pool isn't that big and you can't swim laps. I kind of disagree with that review. The pool is in my opinion big enough to cool down, but don't expect that you can swim a long lap and get your sports done. It's kind of tight when you're swimming next to each other. Guests also didn't reserve their chairs with a towel, which I'm glad about.

It was an overall amazing stay. The room was very spacious and modern, the staff were lovely and very happy to help, cleaning was always on point but the best part of our stay was the swimming area. The pool with the sun beds and poolside bar were a great add on to our early summer break and the perfect spot to spend some really hot days.

we were very pleased with our stay at Paxton Barcelona. This is our second time here, and we will definitely be back again. What we loved most was the minimalist design, with warm wood tones and black accents creating a sleek yet inviting atmosphere. The wooden light parquet floors added a sense of comfort and coziness. The hallways were pleasant, and the newly designed doors gave everything a refined, modern feel. Our room was spacious, featuring a beautifully minimal shower and sink area in warm, calming tones. And most importantly - the mattress was incredibly comfortable. So much, that I actually looked up the brand! The breakfast was simple but enjoyable - not overly abundant, but definitely satisfying. We also enjoyed the swimming pool with its bar - everything felt very clean, modern, and well maintained. The overall ambiance was both homey and contemporary, with a real sense of calm and relaxation.

Our stay was amazing! The guy receptionist with medium long black and grey hair was so nice and attentive. The room is spacious and clean. I stayed in four star hotels that were much worse than this one. They also offered late checkout for a small fee. The pool on the roof is a plus. The fridge in the room is good size.

Really enjoyed this hotel stay, however, I gave it a 4 star only because I felt like there were some racially motivated moments that I experienced from the staff when I was at the pool and in the lobby of the hotel (i.e. being asked to moved for a larger party on the pool deck when there were obviously more seatings that accommodated the said party). Despite these moments, the hotel room was clean and was kept clean by the custodial staff.

Nice clean and comfortable hotel with modern fixtures and fittings. Reception staff were very friendly. Equidistant to the beach and the city centre. Ideal spot for the half marathon. I was disappointed when the pool was closed even though they had advertised a pool.

The members of the stsff are all very friendly, hospitable, and respectful. Rafael had been excellent, Candy had been excellent, and the rest of them. They helped us find and booked great restaurants. They helped us booked taxi’s. The rooms are always clean. On the second floor, the hotel has a beautiful open terrace with a swimming pool, and a bar…for a very relaxing moment. We greatly recommend Hotel Oasis to our friends and relatives.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Right next to a metro station and bus stop. It is within walking distance of the marina with lots of bars and restaurants to chose from. A 10 min walk and you’re on the beach. In addition to this, the hotel has a roof top pool and outdoor area. Perfect!

We had a room with a terrace and sun loungers and direct access to the swimming pool, the rooms big and very comfortable but this was reflected in the price we paid. We stayed bed and breakfast. There was a varied choice for breakfast with some hot items alongside the continental selection. The coffee options at breakfast were great. The staff were very helpful and they booked us taxis when required and gave us recommendations for restaurants when we asked. I would note that the pool area had the sun until about 2 or 3 pm and then was shaded so I would advise you to enjoy the pool in the mornings and sight see in the afternoons and evenings

We had two connecting rooms for our family of four so we had plenty of space. There were plenty of surfaces in the room and bathroom to store our belongings. Housekeeping did a great job daily. The breakfast buffet was better than we expected, and we liked that we could sit on the patio with our kids (although we wish it was non-smoking). The rooftop pool was nice and although it was too cold to really swim during our stay we enjoyed sunbathing. The pool is small and only a meter deep which is great for us (a family with young kids). The location was convenient, and although we were on a busy street our room was on the back of the building so we couldn't hear any traffic noise. They gave our daughters roses for St Jordi upon arrival which was a nice touch.

The Grupotel Gran Via 678 is an EXCELLENT choice if you stay in Barcelona. The hotel offers comfortable rooms, a nice pool, breakfast options, and a welcome drink. Their team of employees at the front desk was top-notch. I was not feeling well, and they offered to get me medical attention right away- how impressive! They also supplied umbrellas and a phone charger when I needed one. The noise level was low. The rooms were very well appointed. Overall, the only complaint was that the shower was slippery and had no bath mat. Best of all, the LOCATION was AMAZING! Very walkable to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Taxis were plentiful in this area and the metro is close.

Mother and daughter trip. Had a room on floor 7 with a huge terrace and great view across Barcelona. The room was spacious and comfortable, cleaned daily to a high standard. Staff were incredibly helpful when we had an issue with one of our phone chargers. The pool was an added bonus, lovely place to unwind. Well located too with the benefit of a room extension for a late checkout. We both loved this hotel and had a fantastic city break.

We loved Hotel Turin! I was in Barcelona for a conference & then my wife came and joined me and we switched into tourist mode. Here are the positives: 1) Super-friendly staff, especially in the breakfast room. 2) We LOVED the breakfast itself. Great variety of food, always rapidly replenished, clean tables and comfortable setting. 3) Our room was comfortable and clean. 4) The hotel is in a great location. Although it's close to overcrowded Las Ramblas, it's just far enough away to give some respite. There are 2 cafes close by that are nice for hanging out at the end of the night, plus in the opposite direction from Las Ramblas there's easy access to a studenty area with vegetarian restaurants and other low-key spots. It was easy to walk from the hotel to almost every site we wanted to visit, or to walk to the subway to get to places like Parc Guell that are a bit farther away. 5) When one of us needed to work, we could always find a quiet, comfortable spot, with a table, just off of the lobby.

I liked everything about this property as it was central to a lot of things and within walking distance to different places like Plaça Catalunya, Las Ramplas, Casa Batlló Barcelonita beach restaurants like Ferran 24. The hotel is in the middle of a vibe street with different cafes and restaurants and other hotels like Le Meridian which made my stay very enjoyable. The reception staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful specially Yolanda she checked me in and out. She was very friendly and helpful and helped me get tickets to Park Güell and Sagrada Família. The room was very comfortable and over looking the street below and every night a cleaning truck comes to clean the street around midnight and few hours later a garbage truck comes to empty the bins next to the hotel building

This was maybe our most comfortable stay during 3 weeks in Europe. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and cozy with soft lighting and blankets. We had plenty of towels, extra soft blankets, hair dryer, fridge- it felt like anything we needed, it was provided in the room. The staff was helpful and friendly. They helped us store our luggage before check in and reserved the early morning taxi ride to the airport for us. It was in a very convenient location by the Rambla, boqueria market, shopping, and metro. We were sad to leave to the next destination because we were so comfortable. Highly recommend !

It was a very nice hotel, the room was actually lovely very comfortable and just lovely to be in. The staff were very nice and professional they did anything to make us comfortable and were very nice to chat to. The hotel is in the very centre of the strip and surprisingly quiet. Very little noise and easy to get a good nights sleep. Room was cleaned every day and very trustworthy staff. We felt safe and felt well minded each day of our stay. We will definitely be recommending to friends family. Look forward to seeing the staff again on our next trip to Barcelona.

Unforegettable experience in Hotel Turin. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! From BCN Airport, there are multiple options available and all are very convenient to get to this hotel. However, being a solo traveler, I took the Aerobus for 7.40 euros from BCN to Placa Catalunya which is the final stop of this bus (really cheap compared to a taxi - around 40 euros? - or uber estimate cost of about 35 euros - that's way too much for a solo traveler, imo). From the drop-off point, I just walked a few feet to this hotel. I was welcomed by very friendly and smiling staff with a bottle of water and fresh orange juice - ahh, that very refreshing on a hot summer day! I arrived way before check-in time at 11:30 AM so my room wasn't ready. They were so kind to let me store my suitcase at their hotel, then I took-off for the Hop-On Hop-Off Tour of the city with pick-up point right there at Placa Catalunya. Very convenient. Best decision ever! I wasted no time. I used every minute of it. I was on time at Sagrada Familia for the 4PM tour (I have pre-booked a ticket at the official website of Sagrada Familia). Choose the 3PM to 4PM time slot because it is when the colors of the windows' stained glass during summer time are the most captivating! I spent about 1.5 hrs at Sagrada Familia then took the same HO-HO bus back to the hotel to officially check-in. From my balcony at Rm 909, I had the most amazing, unbeatable and lively view of the Plaza!

It was right on the square! Very local to all kinds of shops. Hotel was very good, arrived 2.3hr before check in, went downstairs to get changed and then come back, one of the managers came to look for us and said he’s found a room which was the penthouse & it was ours at no extra cost! We also got a bottle of champagne & a free breakfast on day of our departure (unfortunately couldn’t have any as taxi was arriving 15mins after breakfast opened at 7am) room was very clean! Shower was amazing and lovely hot water! Bed was huge and comfortable, all the staff we came across was friendly. Asked a manager the evening before we left if they could book us a taxi for 7:15am the next morning, we walked outside and there it was waiting for us! As a spur of the moment trip for us (about 12 hours notice) we would 1000% come back to this hotel and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting. We visited the cathedrals and watched an amazing Easter parade!!! The Friday after the flight my ears played up and I became slightly unwell with a fever and body shivers, I asked the hotel if I could have a extra blanket, they said they could turn the heat up for me and with in 5 minutes of being back in my room they bought up a extra duvet for me :)

What a beautiful boutique hotel located in the center of Barcelona, just opposite the Plaza Catalonia (the oldest plaza in the center of Barcelona). The staff, especially, Emil, Mohammed, and Eli, are super stars, always going above and beyond, to ensure that we had the best stay. The room was super clean, and bright, and overlooking the square. We received recommendations for dining places, which were big hits, and one that was only a 7/10, but still enjoyable. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes when we requested some service. Breakfast included with our stay, and the food was always fresh, and hot, and the bar/restaurant staff were prompt and efficient in bringing our orders. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and helpful in all our requests, most of all, with speaking to agents from British Airways in Barcelona, to try to track down a delayed bag. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Barcelona, as they are very well priced and your stay is almost guaranteed to be a good experience.

When you go on a short vacation, you always think about a few things. I have stayed at Oliviahotels several times now. I really like the location of the hotel, right in the center of Barcelona! The hotel is modern, comfortable, very clean. Always at the hotel reception you are greeted with a smile like a long awaited guest! This time we had a great excuse to come to Barcelona for my husband's birthday. The hotel in the person of Emin Galstyan made us an upgrade and instead of a suite we were given a VIP room with a beautiful view of Plaza Catalunya! And on my husband's birthday Emin came to our room with a champagne cake and a candle, it was a very touching moment. Also very delicious breakfasts with very cordial and welcoming staff. We were very happy with the reception and will be staying at Oliviahotels next time!

Wow wow wow! We came to Barcelona for our Honeymoon and stayed at Seventy Hotel for the full trip, and we could not have enjoyed our stay more! It was just PERFECT. All the staff were so welcoming, attentive, friendly and helpful. We had booked a Lounge Terrace and it was such an amazing space - the best room we have ever stayed in! A welcome bottle of fizz and dessert was in the room for us when we arrived... and another appeared after having a brilliant couples massage in the Seventy Spa at the hotel. So very generous and very much appreciated! Bluetooth speakers in the room allow you to play your own music through ceiling speakers throughout, massive TV and an even bigger comfortable bed! The rooftop pool and bar was an added bonus, and was perfect to have a quiet siesta above the noise of the city! The food was delicious - breakfast buffet with freshly cooked eggs or omelettes just how you want them, along with pastries, fresh bread, salads, meats, cheeses, fruits, yoghurts and cereals. The restaurant was really tasty and the bar was very reasonable and a lovely space to relax in. Highly recommend the Cava Sangria! Easy to walk to different landmarks, and excellent cafes and restaurants dotted around the location, and the reception are keen to advise on recommendations, book taxis for you or give directions. Thank you to all the staff for making our Honeymoon so memorable. We will be certain to come back in the future!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. We only stayed two nights but we really enjoyed our time there. First, the staff was great. We were exhausted when we arrived and they were very patient with us during check in. Our rooms were not ready yet but they held our luggage and gave us recommendations on where to go for lunch and things we could do while we waited. Our rooms were ready before the check in time of 3 pm which was an added bonus. The rooms were great also. They gave us two rooms that shared an exterior door which worked very well for our family. The decor was nice and the rooms were very comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant which we enjoyed and we liked the breakfast. We also had some time to enjoy the rooftop pool. It was a bit small and crowded but it was still a nice experience. We loved the location of the hotel also. It is close to things but down a quiet street. As a travel agent, I will definitely book this hotel for clients.

Rummet var fint, restaurangen var fin. Däremot står i informationen att det finns vegetariska alternativ - dessa var slut i restaurangen. De har också utifrån miljöhänsyn minskat trycket i duscharna. Detta tror jag dock inte bidrar så mycket till miljön, eftersom tiden i duschen ökar markant på grund av det låga trycket. Det var också det som blev en stor nackel för min del som gillar att duscha snabbt. Annars ligger hotellet bra till, nära motorvägen och samtidig nära restauranger, affärer och parkområden.

The hotel offers complimentary tea and fresh fruit, which was a lovely touch. We arrived early in the morning and were able to leave our luggage in the storage room until check-in, and the same on our departure day — we had a late flight, and it was great to be able to store our bags after check-out. Our room was nice, modern, and clean, with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The location is convenient — not right in the city center, but very close to both the metro and the tram, and also within walking distance of the beach. The neighborhood is pleasant and safe, and Avinguda Diagonal is a nice area for a stroll. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and we would definitely love to come back!

The hotel is very well localized in a friendly neighbourhood. It has a 24h open desk and a pharmacy and grocerie store right next to it, which is something one appreciates when traveling solo. It is 5min walking from the surface metro and 7min from underground metro, with 22euros you get a montly pass for barcelona (1zone) which is more than enough to explore the major attractions. The rooms are exactly like in the pictures, extremely clean. The beds are very comfortable. The staff was extremely kind and helpful - had a last minute issue and they did everything they could to help me out - you end up feeling safe and welcome. For all of this i would say the price is pretty good for barcelona.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, with easy access to all forms of public transport, making it incredibly convenient to reach the city center quickly. The beach is also nearby, which was a great bonus. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always offering great advice on sightseeing and local attractions, which made our experience even better. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. After a long day of walking and exploring, having such a cozy bed to rest in was exactly what we needed to recharge for the next day's adventures. Very friendly staff, we've never felt more welcomed. The rooms are clean and are kept clean each day. They have all you need for your trip to Barcelona. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by caffes, restoraunts, pharmacies, markets and anything else you would need in 200m around you. It's very well connected with metro, tram and bus lines. The avenue in which the hotel is, is also an amazing walking street which takes you all the way to the most important parts of Barcelona center. Decent breakfast to keep you filled till lunch.

We booked our stay at the last minute due to some unforeseen issues with another booking and we were not disappointed. The team accommodated us and were kind and helpful. The location was great and we enjoyed being in a neighborhood that was less “touristy”. The room was clean and spacious and we were lucky enough to have an outdoor patio to relax in. We booked the suite (for 4 adults) with a pull out sofa bed which was a bit hard after a few days, but very manageable. For the amount of time we were in the room, the space was perfect!

From the moment we walked in to this hotel, me and my wife were made to feel so welcome, they couldn't do enough for us, a welcome drink, fruit, managed to get an early check in too. When we left, they kept our bags while we travelled around barcelona one last time before our flight home. The room was very spacious, cosy and the shower was great! I would not hesitate staying here, great location too, next to metro and 15 min walk to sagrada familia. Thankyou!

Stayed here in January 2025. Me and my wife were greeted by lovely staff in reception, offering a drink on arrival and fruit. We were checked in and stayed on a b&b basis. Breakfast was all you needed. Depending on what time you came down for breakfast, the dining area could get full. Room was very big, bathroom was big, very comfortable. Great location, really loved el clot and felt very safe. Would stay here again when I return to Barcelona. Thankyou!

Great little hotel, with super friendly staff. From the time we got to the hotel, we were received with friendly staff, who took care of us and addressed all our questions and needs. The breakfast option was very good, but it would be good if they open earlier somce many of our tours started at 8 am, and we didn't have time to stop and have breakfast since they opeb at 7:30 am. Other than that, we highly recommend it.

If I could give above 10 points for staff, I would! All staff who work at this hotel are exceptionally kind, helpful, and friendly! That alone made my stay nice! Apart from that, varied and tasty breakfast, totally comfortable and spacious rooms. Everything super clean, from the hotel room, to dining room etc. Fantastic place, I do understand why it was so highly rated. And the pricing is totally reasonable. Clot metro station is a nice neighborhood.

It was very surprising and so nice. Concierge representative Jose was very friendly and went above and beyond explaining everything and offered breakfast in the morning. Location is 5 minutes away from Main Street La Ramblas and port Vell. Also hotel has a spa with wet and dry sauna and pool , need to have reservations. Price is great, definitely worth it!!! Highly recommended this hotel!

We arrived early morning from disembarking from a cruise. The front desk person was excellent! She stored our bags, gave us a local map and showed us to the cafe for a cup of coffee. Later she.pointed-out on the map that we were only 5-minutes from some of the best Barcelona sites. We returned about 1 pm and our room was ready! The rooms are exceptionally clean, new furnishings, strong WiFi and quite very nice restaurant and accommodating bar staff. They even scheduled a taxi for our return to the port. This hotel is perfect for anyone using the Cruise port. Only a 7-minute, EU-10 taxi ride. This is our new go-to hotel and spa for Barcelona.

This place is full with kind and attentive people, the room I had with terrace was perfect and with so much room, the breakfast had a lots of variety and you could choose any type of food, sweet or savoury in many ways. The stuff was perfect, especialy Juan who is at the reception, so helpful and friendly and did not bother to explain or suggest everything about the city and best places regarding the food and sighseeing. Juan waiting for you to visit Georgia bro!

An excellent stay with my partner in Barcelona. A comfortable, clean room overlooking a quiet backyard, close to the hills in Barcelona. The location was great. As we both like walking, the location was perfect for a morning hike/run right by the hills, while we were very close to the ocean and restaurants as well. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet and the bathroom is well-kept. We would overall recommend this location for a couple and look forward to our next stay!

We stayed here for a couple of nights for my 21st birthday It was amazing. Massive thank you to Brigitte and the chef, Andres who made our evening dinner so amazing! Absolutely delicious. We had the steak. Cooked amazingly! Lovely lady!! She also made sure I had a cupcake for my birthday in the room. Amazing woman <3 Many thanks!

I have been here with my 2 daughters during half term and we all loved our stay. The staff has always been very kind and understanding, shout out to the receptionists and the lovely cleaning lady. The hotel has a swimming pool on the last floor, the view from here is really outstanding, my daughters went into the pool but being February the water was freezing. I was actually impressed that the swimming pool was open at all, nice surprise. I have personally used the gym and even though it's quite small it has all the basic equipment. Our room was pretty quiet because not on the road's side, mattress and pillows were really comfortable. The bathroom had a massive shower, which we really appreciated. Will definitely be back!

Our room, forth floor 417 was made up with twin beds as I was travelling with my daughter. Had a narrow balcony which was lovely to open the windows, but when shut the soundproofing was excellent. Bathroom was great, a little warm the air con is good but does not reach the bathroom. There was also a wardrobe dressing area which we liked. My daughter had let them know before arriving that is was my birthday during our stay and on arrival we had a welcome with balloons, card and cake with candle - followed soon by a call from the guest relations checking everything was to our liking - which is was. The roof top bar and pool area is great with lots of seating and sun beds with umbrellas. Nice pool that you could swim in. Tapas & snacks are available as are cocktails and drinks all served with a smile from Vicky. All the staff we encountered were so helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and a valued guest. Special thanks to Raul and Pau for looking after us. This hotel in not located on a very busy main road but such a short distance from the Arc de Triomf and with in walking distance of the marina and Sagrada Familia (both about 30 mins walk). Plenty of street side cafe for food nearby if needed. We did not eat at the hotel as we prefer to eat out having Tapas. Taxis were plentiful and easily obtained by the hotel when needed. We will certainly stay here on our return.

This was a fantastic hotel for our stay in Barcelona. The hotel was beautiful with a fantastic interconnecting room. The food was brilliant. Special mention for the breakfast and scrambled eggs in particular. And the evening meals were great value. Enjoyed relaxing at the rooftop bar and pool. Only thing to make it better would have been a heated pool. But that was a minor thing. And the location was great. Easy to get to city shops. A highlight was being able to wander round to the arc du triomf after dinner and see the lovely lights nearby.. Staff were great. Very helpful and attentive. Wonderful visit to Barcelona. We hope to come back in future.

The staff are really nice, and the rooms are quiet and well-equipped with plenty of amenities. The pool was great, larger than most rooftop pools and the bartenders in were very attentive. I’m never disappointed with this hotel.

I selected this hotel for being 4*, relatively close to centre (just 1 sub way stop), reasonable price, and sufficient facilities. Room was very clean, so was the hotel. Breakfast had sufficient choice. My only improvement suggestion would be the temperature of the swimming pool. We were in the hotel end-October and although the roof top pool was open I found the water rather cold.

The breakfast buffet was amazing. We enjoyed walking in the gardens and eating and having wine in the restaurant. The lobby was open and inviting and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the proximity to Metro and bus stops since most of the sites we wanted to visit were a distance away. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was really nice and clean and in a great location, never felt unsafe walking around and the staff were very helpful with giving us advice and keeping our luggage for the day even though we had to check out in the morning! Don’t be put off by 1 star review!!

Centrally located by lots of food and shops. Staff was very helpful on recommending places to go or eat, while there. Very helpful in scheduling transportation to and from the airport, to make our lives a lot easier. Very clean, AC works great, very comfortable especially after walking all day.

Helpful staff who got our rooms ready early. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was very quiet overnight Location was good, just a short taxi ride from the airport and there was a taxi rank outside the hotel for going back to the airport

Great location. Check-in was easy, but only one person at the counter and it took a long time. Room was right in front of the elevator, but it was changed when I went down to ask for a different room. Nicely accomodated.

Across the road from the bus stop to city. Friendly check in staff and the room was lovely. Clean and quiet. Reception easily booked a taxi for us for the airport drop, rather than working out the bus early morning (EUD 25)

Really we were happy with our stay , everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will come back to stay in this hotel next year . They even let us to check in early, with out any xtra cost.

The hotel is located in a fantastic area, with tapas restaurant options right out the front of the hotel, easy walk to Las Ramblas, including the Marketplace, as well as Casa Batllo and the hop on hop off bus stop. We arrived into Barca early in the morning and our room obviously wasn’t ready for check in. The staff stored our bags for us and advised that we could use the toilet/changing facilities as well as pool area if we wished. Once we checked in, the room was spacious and everything was very clean. Our room had a terrace off the bedroom which was lovely to sit in the mornings and evenings and enjoy the view. All staff were fantastic from the front desk, guest relations desk, breakfast and rooftop staff; nothing was ever an issue. A lovely touch was the complimentary tea, coffee, water and pastries at the front desk when we checked out very early (4am) for our flight. The pool was much needed after hot days walking around the city, although quite a compact area. Thank you for a great stay!

We had the best experience ever in the NH Collection Calderon in Barcelona. They have the best breakfast I have seen in a while, stuffed with fresh cut fruit, all kind of eggs, Catalan specialties, sweets, bread and even a morning salad bar with the most amazing guacamole! The smoothies and fresh juices are exceptional, no powdered juices here! The hotel is well located near the Catalunya square where you can take a metro or one of the hop on buses, or visit the old town. The hotel also has an amazing view from the rooftop pool and bar, excellent to spend a relaxing afternoon, enjoying a drink or some tasty bites. Although a little small, the rooms are nicely decorated, very clean, yet with, in our case, a rather unpractical bathroom with a good walk in rain-shower. All in all it’s one of those places where they do go the extra mile as to accommodate their guests, with a special thanks to Javier who made our stay something extraordinary.

We had overall a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, although we do wish there were more drawers to store clothes/belongings. The rooftop bar/pool has an amazing view of the city — it’s a great place to relax while enjoying delicious cocktails and snacks! Our server, Imran, was friendly and attentive. This hotel is also situated in a great location—- for 1st timer in Barcelona, this place is close to most of the attractions/famous landmarks, shopping, restaurants , and it is also close to public transportations (metro/bus stations). We’d definitely recommend people to stay at this hotel!

Our room was quite and had plenty of room for our clothes. The breakfast was incredible - fresh cut fruit, freshly baked pastries, many cold cut options etc. The staff was super friendly and helpful; we got some excellent restaurant recommendations from Louis that all turned out to be favorites of tourists and locals alike. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, especially if you like to explore a city while walking around. There is also a happening roof terrace with a pool and a bar that also serves a few snack items. This place is highly recommended!

Perfect location on Las Ramblas, one of the most famous streets in Barcelona with easy access to high end shopping, the city market and great restaurants. It's central location makes it convemient to get to any location in Barcelona. Fantastic views of the city from the awesome rooftop pool and bar, including Sagrada Familia in the distance. This will be my first choice Hotel whenever I visit Barcelona again.

I had the good fortune to stay in two excellent hotels during my recent trip to Barcelona, and this was one of them. Avant garde decor, very nice, efficient staff, excellent location in a great district, well appointed room, comfortable bedding, very quiet, outstanding shower, and very nice amenities. I would have a hard choice to make between the two places I stayed on a future Barcelona stay. Both were excellent. I'd have to give a slight edge to the room layout of the other hotel, but the location of Hotel Carla is outstanding. Easy walk to major sites. Easy to grab a cab. Close to public transit (my daughter came to visit us from another part of the city by tram), great restaurants and street fairs around, lots of shopping, and even within waking distance to a 24 hour farmacia which I needed. I would definitely stay here again. This is a top notch hotel. Really enjoyed this stay.

Wow, the hotel exceed my expectations. First off the staff were very polite and the gentleman on my very early check in accomodated me by giving not only an early room as I had lost my luggage but got an upgraded room too. Room itself was very spacious and the bathroom was great. Bed was solid and the pillows soft. Extra points for their fluffy towels. The staff serving the breakfast was also great, especially that lady who spoke Spanish with me. They were very happy. The quality of the food was excellent and the hotel has a night service for food too which I used last day. Location was superb - three blocks away from the Diagonal metro station and close around to some cool cafes. Rooms were clean as well. I will come again.

This was the best stay I've had in a while. The room was immaculate. I arrived very early at least 5 hours before check in however the hotel had no problem holding my bags as i explored the city. When i finally checked in the room was exactly as pictured if not better. The room was so super clean. I usally get creeped out by hotel bathrooms but this one was like brand new. There was two big jugs of compliemmenty water, a safe, hair dryer, and slippers. Little things like this make a big difference. I definitely recommend the room with the balcony/terrace it was a nice addition. I would 100% stay here next time im in Barcelona.

I arrived, without a booking in the late evening. They gave me the Junior Suite for a great price. Even the regular price fits the bill! The room is large, modern but with traditional elements. The bed was abfab (kingsize) with great pillows. Everything was there what you expect from a good hotel: bathrobes, slippers, bathroom products including shaving & tooth brushes (all wrapped), a minibar, safe, 1 l glass bottled water × 2 & welcome chocolates. There was a Juliet balcony with chairs & table to top it off, looking at tree tops. A buffet breakfast was included. The reception was very friendly, attentive, helpful & respectful. A great experience!

The hotel is amazing! It’s close to many tourist attractions (Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, Casa Mila), it’s close to stores and restaurants, it’s in incredibly beautiful neighbourhood Eixample, that is also very safe, and it’s a few minutes away from the bus station and the metro. The room was very spacious and clean, it had everything you may need and the staff was very attentive. It was absolutely worth it and I will definitely visit again!

Hotel Ronda Lesseps and its staff really made my first ever trip to Barcelona feel like a vacation. The location is very safe and walkable (if hilly) area with some basic dining options 2-3 minutes away, subway stop 7 minutes away (Caffe Milano!) and the livelier part of Gracia (Gran de Gracia!) 15-20 minutes away. The hotel itself is very modern and well-maintained. My room was in great condition with a sleek, modern bathroom, and got cleaned thoroughly every day. My only complaint was that the one window looked out into a small courtyard so I got no natural light whatsoever. I had to put on all the lights at any hour of the day. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful from my check-in to my departure, helping me mail postcards, arranging a cab, and even loaning me a compact umbrella for an excursion on a rare rainy day (it saved me). I also really liked the numeric punch-in code for the room; no need to worry about losing or forgetting your key. I would definitely stay here again.

Our experience at this hotel was excellent from start to finish. The breakfast was fantastic and very generous, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The coffee was also exceptional, a perfect start to each day. The hotel is situated in a prime location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. We were just a five-minute walk from both a metro station and bus stops, which made getting around a breeze. Despite its central location, the area around the hotel was very quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. We had a minor issue with a tap in our bathroom, and it was repaired immediately after we reported it, which was impressive. Our room was also cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend this hotel for its superb amenities, excellent service, and convenient yet tranquil location. If I ever come back to Barcelona, this is where I will stay!

Wonderful hotel, bed was super comfy and the room was very modern. The staff were all super friendly, helpful and kind. I forgot my charger but I borrowed one from reception no problem. There is a gorgeous patio area to sit and enjoy a peaceful game of cards with a sangria. The hotel is a short walk to Lesseps station and a 30 minute walk (very up hill) to Park Guell. The view at the top is stunning. We had a free drink on arrival and there was tea and coffee in the room. There is local TV available if you need it. Water is also supplied in small bottles, if you need more just ask reception. Shower is always hot with nice smelling shower gel. A safe and fridge are also available. Perfect location for people wanting to explore the city.

The reception and bar staff were brilliant. Each once of the guys was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some lovely cocktails and beers at the bar. We never had breakfast but enjoyed a croissant and coffee each morning, which was nice. We found the location out of the way, and we spent quite a bit of money on taxis and Uber. Still, Barcelona also has a very efficient and inexpensive public transport system available to us. The shower was intense and hot, which was lovely after a whole day out in the winter chill. My only complaint was that housekeeping was a bit slack on the replenishment of tea, coffee etc and the cleaning of the cups. Apart from that small thing - it was a great hotel and a lot of care has been taken in putting it together.

There was a problem with the room when we checked in, but this was sorted out fairly quickly and satisfactorily. We were given complimentary breakfasts for both days of our stay as recompense. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is about a five minute walk from the metro station (L3) and there are a couple of small supermarkets across the road. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful, including providing us with a list of local restaurants. The breakfast was a well stocked buffet. The coffee machine ("Nespresso- what else?") was somewhat temperamental but the staff member was able to sort it out. Recommended.

Fantastic location, nice friendly staff, complementary drinks in the reception foyer, very clean and modern rooms, beds comfortable, rooftop pool and bar area is nice but get there early because the pool gets busy with kids jumping around and playing. Pool is smaller than pictures but that’s expected in Barcelona city. The views are nice from the rooftop. Would stay again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotels was very nice and in a great location. The rooftop terrance was wonderful and the pool was actually a good size for a rooftop pool.

I was very impressed with the staff at the front desk. I arrived without any luggage , as the airline didn't get our luggage to Barcelona. This was a horrible hardship, as we didn't have any clothes for the hot summer days or our needed medicine. I would like to single out Evelyn and Karla at the front desk for making multiple calls to the airport trying to expedite the delivery of our bags. Eventually at 9:00 pm our bags did arrive on day two and I know it had a lot to do with their diligence and communication with the people at the airport. We had to leave the country the following morning , so it was vital we got them in time. Meanwhile on day one, another very helpful person at the desk directed us to a department store where we could buy some clothes to get us through. I would also like to say the breakfast was as good as it gets, with a vast variety of fruits, cheeses, meats, yogurt, and hot food items- Eggs Benedict, omelettes, bacon, sausage, croissants, homemade jams, and more. The service was excellent and we had glasses of fresh squeezed orange juice served to us within seconds of being seated. All of this made the frustration of having no bags a bit easier to handle. We will be back next time we are in Barcelona. Also, the rooftop pool has a beautiful view of the city.

It is an amazing place with everything you need on the spot. Location is exceptional - next to the Gothic quarter, close to La Rambla, 20 minutes walk to the sea. Really close to public transport (like 4-5 minutes walk). The room was very well designed, be was super-comfortable. You can choose the pillow you sleep on, they give you different options. Rain shower stole my heart :) The street next to the hotel is pretty busy but the windows are soundproof and we did not have any disturbing noises. Heated swimming pool on the rooftop with an amazing view just adds several points to the experience. The terrace itself is very beautiful. cocktails are well-done. The stuff is super friendly and professional. Everyone we met was smiling and ready to help. The managers were very kind and let us to check-in 4 hours earlier. I really appreciate it. It was a perfect location as one could walk in multiple directions to different locales. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. The room was exceptionally comfortable with a little balcony & a rain shower with excellent daily housekeeping. It was very quiet. The breakfast buffet & a la carte items included in the fee were delicious & if you didn’t want a big breakfast, there was a great cafe just across the street. There were also many close options for good reasonably priced restaurants. The incredible Palau de Musica with concerts is just around the corner & the Cathedral a few steps away. We especially loved the rooftop terrace with heated pool, incredible view & delicious tapas!

Lovely hotel, nice and modern inside. We were greeted by the very friendly reception staff, Natalia and Clara. Arriving in the evening with two tired children aged 6 & 4. They were so nice to our girls and gave them some colouring and lollipops whilst they waited for us to check in. Our family room was very spacious and much larger than we expected. Two rooms (one with a balcony) and a nice sized bathroom with a bath and shower. Our rooms were cleaned every day and we were always given fresh towels. Breakfast was lovely, nice selection of pastries, fruit, cereals and hot food like eggs and bacon etc. All really nice and plenty for our daughters to choose from, again very friendly staff. Reception were always very helpful when we needed taxis ordered or ideas for restaurants. Location was great so we walked a fair bit but taxis were very reasonable when it got too hot to walk back. All in all we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.

The room was clean, nice, and cozy. One of the highlights of the hotel was the warm hospitality of all three receptionists, who were very welcoming and helpful with our requests. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a Metro station made it easily accessible via public transportation. The breakfast offered a variety of quality options, including both English and Spanish breakfast items, as well as local products to taste. However, the small gym on the roof could benefit from more equipment with a minimal investment.

It was a great hotel with helpful staff and good facilities. The room was fab, comfortable beds, fresh towels (that were nice and big!), good toiletries. Good location just north of Diagonal with plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was excellent - such a wide range of fresh local produce. The staff were so kind and helpful - thoughtful touches for my mum’s birthday and printing out my sister’s train ticket when her phone had died.

We received a free upgrade to a superior room. The room was spacious and clean. All our requests were handled promptly. The neighbourhood was safe with plenty of supermarkets, cafes and bakeries. There were some nice restaurants nearby but mostly we went to other parts of the city. Travelling to the airport with public transport is not so easy. Although the hotel is close to two metro stations we needed a few transfers between different lines.

Guter Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt zu erkunden, unmittelbar in der Nähe sind mehrere Ubahn Stationen und Bushaltestellen. Die Gegend ist trotzdem ruhig, gegenüber ist eine Schule. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Preis war für uns zu Viert unschlagbar. Würde ich weiter empfehlen.

We contacted the staff in advance, by email, to request assistance pre-arranging 24 hour notice to book the ADA taxi for a scooter/wheelchair, for the trasfer to the airport; this is necessary ! They escorted our 78 year old aunt from the hotel to the taxi at 3AM.

The gentlemen at the reception was really nice and helpful since the beginning till the end of our travel. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name but he welcomed us on 5th October around 14-15pm. The location is amazing. It is right in front of the metro station and located in the middle of La Rambla. They have amazing bar, live music, dj, bartender and welcoming assistants. The price is really affordable and worthwhile. I strongly recommend this place.

The staff were so lovely. Between everyone at reception and everyone who worked in the Wolf Cave (the hotel’s bar and restaurant) they made our stay so wonderful. The hotel is walking distance to most places and thought the room may be considered small (I didn’t think so) it was perfect for just getting in and getting changed and sleeping. Would stay again!

The location is just perfect, right in front of the metro Liceu, with view to Ramblas but no noise at all from the street, amazing! The beds were comfly and the room su much bigger than expected. Heating, hot shower, loats of tv channels. Love the bar on the first floor with the live music!

Great location, roomy room, room was quite quiet considering the excavation work being undertaken outside the window. Beds very comfortable, even the sofa bed, which is unusual. We walked all over Barcelona, only taking a bus and train on a couple of occasions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Upon reaching, I was allowed to take off my bags and was given a small tour of the hostel, which is basically one entire floor (I'm assuming two apartments combined) in an apartment building, with its own lift access. The dining/living area plus the well-lit terrace are huge highlights of this place as it provides the perfect environment to meet and talk with fellow travellers over a cup of coffee/tea, over breakfast or even over a movie on Netflix! The free breakfast is more than you can ask for, especially considering that it's kept available almost for the entire day. There's also free laundry service if you stay for more than 5 nights. The location is really great, with two different metro stops, both within 5 minutes walking distance and several bus stops as well, depending one where you want to go. The pub crawls are amazing, too, definitely worth giving it a shot!

The staff was really kind, they ordered a taxi for us one time when we needed to go to the hospital. Me and my friend stayed there for 19 nights and because of that they cleaned our clothes for free! They also had free breakfast and a kitchen where we cooked our food at least 10 times. They cleaned the floor every day. They had a sofa where me and my friends could watch Netflix. It was also easy to travel within Barcelona from Fabrizzios Terrace, it was close to the metro station Tetuan, the purple line of the metro (maybe a 3 minute walk), and close to the metro station Girona, the yellow line of the metro (maybe 4 minute walk). It’s located in a good area, I never felt in danger there while walking alone.

The personal was really kind. They washed our clothes for me and my friend and because we stayed there for 19 nights, for us, it was free. They ordered and payed for a taxi when me and my friend needed to go to the hospital. They cleaned the floor every day and there were free breakfast. Me and my friends cooked food in the kitchen at least 10 times. It’s located really central in Barcelona and I never felt unsafe while walking alone around the neighborhood/blocks near or at Fabrizzios Terrace. There were big roads there. It was close to the metro station Tetuan (the purple line of the metro), maybe a 3 minute walk, and close to Girona (the yellow line of the metro), maybe a 4 minute walk.

All staff working here are super friendly and so kind, they did every effort to make my stay comfortable with big smiles, I felt so comfortable during my whole stay. Easy to meet people, great atmosphere. I actually had some reservations with another high reviews hostel after I started here, but since I loved Fabrizio’s hostel much more, so I came back and extended some more nights. I’ll definitely stay only at Fabrizio’s hotel for my Barcelona trip!! I really felt like home, it was really special experience for me!! Thank you so much!!

This is a nice hotel, it has the always known European midget design for everything, but the room was great, clean, new, comfortable. Breakfast must be included in your fare, i did not pay for it, on first morning we walked a lot to find an American style breakfast around, dayafter we tried the breakfast and it was great, for 12 euros per person is a great price. Its location is good, but is around 600mts from the closest metro station, which does not look too bad considering that you go to Europe to walk, but at the end of the day a taxi or uber is a must to return to it.

I recently stayed at Hotel Condado in Barcelona and had an outstanding experience. The hotel’s location is ideal, offering easy access to key attractions and local dining options. We were greeted by a gentlemen who helped us get our bearings after letting us leave our luggage in reception (we had an early flight). We later came back and went to our rooms. Very large, plenty of space to hang and store things. Bathroom was lovely. The hotel generally was very quiet even though there were a number of hotel guests staying. Location wise - around 30 minutes, if that, from Las Ramblas. Which for us was great! Easy route to the “main” areas of interest. Thank you for a great stay! 😁

The location of the hotel is great and it can be access via many buses. There is a super market and several restaurant right outside of the hotel, so it is really convenient. The bed is really spacious and comfortable. The bedding are actually nice. They do house keeping everyday, which keep the room clean and fresh. The room is not big but the layout make so much sense, so you don't feel the room is small. Overall I feel really safe and comfortable staying in the hotel.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Condado. The room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, making our stay very relaxing. This well situated hotel is chic and modern. We met our family with 2 young children and nothing was too much effort. The staff were friendly and kind to the children. I was extremely fortunate to have discovered this hotel. Slightly off the area of popular tourist attractions, this hotel offers high quality of the Hyatt brand at a very good price, compared to those hotels nearby tourist attractions. The spacious parking lot, the spaceship-shaped club on the roof-top, and the spacious swimming pool, gym, and sauna. It offers the best views although you stay on a low floor, which is higher than the highest floor of four-star hotel. The rooms are basically well-organized, offer at least 30 square meters, and offer a large bathroom and a large bed, making guests much more relaxed.

Excellent hotel, spend the 15 euros to use the spa gym and pool. The metro is close by which is great. It does take around 15 to 20 minutes to get to the gothic quarter but if your not in a rush who cares.

Excellent hotel and a very professional staff. Gemma and the manager Maria (or Marcia?) went out of their way to make us feel welcome and we were taken care of. The rooms are modern, clean and have an amazing view of the city. This is area L’Hospitalet is about 15 mins away from the Barcelona center so we liked the quiet location plus a quick 15 min ride to the center. It is close to the railway station and airport making it and ideal location. Will definitely come again.

We really enjoyed the one night we spent here! It was an easy 6 min walk from the metro station (to get back to the airport), and about the same distance to a nice, main Street supermercado! Easy to find, extremely personable and helpful staff! Kitchen was readily available and was well supplied with ALL the basics (think even olive oil and balsamic vinegar for the salad I craved;) The place felt like we were staying in a friend's hacienda with a lovely courtyard and a tiki bar!

The location is very convenient if you have an early flight next morning. It is a 10 min ride and costed me Euro22 booking a taxi through "Freenow" app (the lump sum taxi from the airport is better for downtown but too expensive for 5 KM). The staff were quite friendly, they offer bar and restaurant to the town as well. The room was super clean and bed was comfortable. In the morning we woke up with the rooster crowing...

Juan Pablo was such a lovely, friendly face to greet us when we arrived so late Mattresses were comfortable, and the bunk beds were sturdy and well-constructed (didn’t creak or shake when we climbed up and down the ladders) We appreciated the privacy curtains at each bunk Ample power plugs per bed The outdoor beer garden is such a lovely feature to have there. We really enjoyed hanging out outside in the fantastic Spanish weather.

The hostel was very cozy, I especially enjoyed the vibe of the outside area. The rooms were clean and I felt safe regardless of travelling alone. It only took a 7-minute walk to the train and subway station, and I got to the airport easily. Staff was very friendly :) I don‘t really have anything bad to say about my stay, definitely worth the money!

I took a bus to a nearby location, then walked the rest of the way with luggage. The bus had to stop and let everyone off before its scheduled stop, so the walk was longer than anticipated. Hard to do on cobblestones but I finally arrived.

This is definitely a budget lover's hotel in a perfect location. The front desk staff were amazing. Helpful, attentive and friendly. Every recommendation was perfect. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. The AC was cold and adjustable. We'll definitely return.

Location and building itself were so great. Love that it's a vintage hotel built in the 50's. Rooms had limited space but beds were so comfy and clean. Would definitely stay there again. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice area, close to many cafes and restaurants—10-20 minutes from most main attractions. Hotel was nice and modern. The room was dimly lit and a few lights were not working so it was hard to see in the dark. The employees were great and even gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. However, one night we asked the front desk for ice and were told there was no ice because the restaurant was closed. A few hours later we asked another employee and he said of course we have ice! Two minutes later he brought it for us. The rooftop pool area is cool but the pool is small. The "lobby" or media room is actually downstairs from the entrance and is pretty cool just to chill. We paid almost $500 for 3 nights so it was ok for the value.

Great location! 400M to various metro stops with access to the L1 and L2 lines and about 600-900M to the L3 and L4 lines. The rooftop pool was a great location to cool off from the hot weather in the day and they have a shaded patio area as well for relaxing next to the pool. There is an awesome breakfast/brunch spot at the nearest street corner called Belliny which is amazing. Across the street is a good filipino resturant cand about a 12 minute walk is a great street taco spot called Xuba.

The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The location was great. I didn't get to use the pool but, it was kind of a cool rooftop deck pool that would've been fun on a hot day.

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights with my husband. Great location and right beside the Urregell Metro stop for easy access to the city. Nice cafes and bars and restaurants within walking distance. We were very welcomed by Robert at Reception on check in and by far the best ever we had as he was so courteous and efficient in the process. He was so helpful in recommending ways to get around the city and where to visit by indicating it on a map he gave to us. The other reception staff day and night and the lovely lady in the breakfast room were very polite and courteous. The rooms were spacious and clean. Room was serviced each day. Clean towesl if required. They are very much aware of sustainability and lights in room and halls may not be as bright as you see in other hotels as they are on some power saving type. No bar or sitting area in the reception. The terrace area and pool were not being used but i would imagine during the summer they would be a great area to sit out to relax. Hotel right beside a small supermarket and stock a large variety of toiletries etc. if you forget anything. Only issue we had was that our room was on the 6th floor facing the street which was fine but the noise was still very loud and the streets to be busy 24/7. Breakfast was lovely with a choice to suit everyone. Bus stops near hotel too and all visitor attractions easily accessible from this lovely hotel.

Absolutely recommend this hotel, location is perfect with a metro station right outside and being situated in an extremely safe area with plenty of bars and restaurants. Location is definitely 10/10 with every famous landmark being accessible by foot, metro or bus. We booked a double room which overlooks the Main Street but it is soundproof making for a very comfortable sleep, we found that the room itself is very bright during the day and also has lighting which can be controlled from your bed. The air-con works extremely well and is very easy to control. The rooftop pool is small but extremely clean and a perfect spot to cool down during the day as well as the terrace having plenty of seats to relax. My room was spotless and the bathroom was very clean and modern, below the sink is buttons to control the glass window to provide you privacy when using the bathroom if wanted! All the hotel reception staff were friendly and very helpful by providing my friend and I a map of the city with recommendations. If I return to Barcelona, I will be staying here again!!!!!!

Clean and safe. Love the aspect that the door to the street locks when closed and can only be opened with your room key. So no one can just waltz in. They offer all the purified spring or sparkling water u can manage and a very cool coffee/tea bar where you can help urself whenever u fancy. Staff was also a delight n very helpful always. Smiling and informative.

The hotel is well located and an easy walk to all attractions and public transport links. The room is clean, functional and a good size. We had it made up as a twin. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on food. Access was easy and checkin out of hours was straight forward.

Deliberately booked here as a return customer. Fabulous staff and facilities. Sadly, I couldn't do a late check out on this occasion, but the lounge area and coffee making facilities are perfect to spend time in between exploring the local area and shopping.

The bed was very comfy and location is perfect if you like the idea of being in a city without the noise. Very easy to walk or catch a taxi as they are frequently passing. And I cannot say enough about the food, the tapas and wine selection are wonderful. Loved the every bit of my stay here!!

This is a great boutique hotel , family run , very friendly. Not city centre but close enough if you like walking or a short taxi ride. The area is good and safe , we walked to the sights most days unless it was raining. By Barcelona standards it's very reasonably priced with a nice brasserie style restaurant , the staff were all friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only regret was that the rooftop bar was closed for the season, something we were looking forward to experiencing. However as the weather was unusually cool and wet there was only one day out of six when we could of used it anyway.

Conveniently located near the Metro station in a lovely neighborhood. The personal care products are from L’occitane which is nice. Breakfast is not included but you can purchase for the days you want to have it. The selection of food is high quality despite the limited varieties. There’s no kettle or coffee machine in the room. The staff kindly sent a kettle to our room after we asked for one. (coz I wanna make some hot tea.) The Chinese restaurant right across the street was nice. Suitable for a casual dinner if you want a change for food after a few days.

Everything was amazing from start to finish. The staff greeted me warmly and went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. They kindly stored my luggage until I was ready to check in and provided recommendations on dining and activities in the local area. The room was comfortable and well appointed. I loved the big, beautiful windows and the view from my room. The hotel was also convenient to the metro, which was a plus. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to other fellow travelers.

The staff was very responsive when we missed our train. They rearranged our pick up time without hesitation even when we came in super late. Everyone was very gracious. If you’re into amenities like a spa or pool, you won’t get that here. But you will get a fantastic place to stay! And leaving fun snacks, gifts, and a bottle of wine didn’t hurt either. Wow! What an experience! We were here during the Great Iberian Power Outage and the staff were really amazing! At that time, no one knew the cause of the outage or how long it would last (it ended up being 10 hours in Barcelona, longer in more remote areas). Rumors were flying about a possible cyber attack, so people were understandably concerned. The staff at Apartments Sixtyfour went out of their way to reassure us and help us in any way possible. As the elevator was not working, they were running up and down the stairway checking on everyone and providing battery operated lights and bottles of water. They even knew which convenience store was open so that we could buy something for dinner (the employees at the store held candles for illumination and asked for cash in payment for purchases). Before all that happened, we enjoyed the refrigerator and the washing machine and the patio which gave us a place to dry our clothes. The hotel is in a perfect spot - directly across from several of the great examples of Modernisme architecture.

Overall very good stay. It's a well appointed, friendly and mostly helpful hotel and a good base to explore both beach and city. Both check in and check out are a breeze with no queues at either point, which is very different to other Barcelona hotels I've stayed in. Huge thanks to Carol, who made breakfast time an experience my kids really looked forward to! The food and service was fantastic. The only thing that let this place down was the pool area, although we had limited time there. The pool itself is great, but the lifeguards are constantly having to shout at kids climbing onto the unguarded infinity edge (with sizeable drop on the other side). Also, we were given 1 towel between a family of 4 for the pool on our first night, having arrived at the pool at 7.30pm (closes at 8). Although we were told housekeeping was bringing more, the pool area staff left after 8 and my wife ended up going to reception, where the very helpful receptionist got more for us, but by this point it was 8.15pm and well after closing. Would stay here again and hopefully get the full 5 star experience!

very nice located hotel with a choice of 2 pools. avoid the ground floor pool invaded by families and children choose the pool on the roof top much nicer and quiet and smooth. rooms are large and i enjoyed the bed. restaurant by chef tendiez is very good but a bit over expensive for tapas. DJ music is very smooth and excellent.

The accommodation was perfect for a long weekend with my 8 year old daughter. Directly on the beach, within walking distance you could do and experience a lot and yet you were always back at the accommodation quickly. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and the service was attentive and friendly. The room was very cosy, especially the huge bed, and was equipped with everything you need. Special highlights for my daughter were of course the two pools (one suitable for young children and toddlers) and the other one on the roof terrace. We really enjoyed our stay. When we checked out, the staff very kindly informed us that we could continue to use the pools and the fitness area as well as the showers there. We were particularly pleased that we were able to spend time on the beach until shortly before our journey home and then freshen up before heading to the airport.

We were a party of 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. Excellent quiet rooms. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Two pools. One on the roof and one on the ground floor both of which have bar and food facilities. Separate restaurants for breakfast and evening meals. Both were great and very relaxed. Very wide choice from the buffet breakfast to suit everyone. Hotel staff were all REALLY helpful and cheerful. Hotel is in a quiet location very near the beach but we preferred the pools in the hotel. Leisurely walk into the centre of the city for extensive choice of shopping which we all enjoyed especially the girls ! Pick up a cab outside the hotel to go to Sagrada Familia. Recommend a small group half day bike ride tour of the city. We used Fat Tire Tours. The cycling was very easy and we made lots of stops. We were in Barcelona for 5 days. Truly memorable holiday. Everything was perfect! The location is great! There are two pools, a fitness center, a restaurant, and a rooftop terrace with a bar (and a heated pool). It is near the beaches and waterfront attractions, but within walking distance to other areas (the gothic quarter, el born, las ramblas, old town). The beds are very comfortable! There is a large breakfast buffet offered each day. The staff is very helpful and the concierge desk arranged our transportation from the airport and to the cruise ship. This hotel was perfect! Definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ibis Styles Barcelona. I travelled with my elderly mom and stayed 4 nights. Our only complaint is about a little bit of mold in the shower area of our room. Other than that Our room was clean and larger than expected. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Veronica a staff person at breakfast was a delight. it was conveniently located near Passieg de Gracia and the Sagrada Familia. We took cabs because my mom could walk to far but the metro was also close by. The cafe next door was sometimes a bit noisy but it didn’t really bother us. I would definitely stay here again.

Location: Walking distance from Diagonal or Verdaguer (much closer) stations. 1 km or approximately 13 minutes walking distance to Sagrada Familia. Lots of cafès (there’s one downstairs and we exiting the building with al fresco tables) and restaurants in the neighborhood. Safe for evening stroll. Facilities: The room has enough space for two (traveling with my teenager daughter). Bathroom is clean. Breakfast buffet was good with cold cuts and cheese selections. Sheets are decent. Check-in/out was smooth and fast, which were both completed in 10 minutes. Bringing up/down the big luggages was not a problem at all. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

The breakfast was great, there was a wide variety of the most commonly eaten breakfasts in Europe. The staff was really helpful and kind, and our room was also very clean. The area where the hotel is at was pretty safe, even at night. Everything is relatively close, so we mostly went everywhere on foot, but there are also several buses available right in front or next to the hotel and 2 metro lines in a less than 5 minute walk.

Excellent design, fantastic room (duplex suite) and great location in the Eixample area of Barcelona. A very comfortable stay in terms of the quality of bed and sofa and the look of the hotel interiors. Quality bathroom products etc. However, it took around 10 minutes (no exaggeration) to get hot water through the taps in the room. It seemed to be faster on my last day so maybe they sorted it, but one of the staff said it happens with the ground floor suites. There was no kettle in the room, just a coffee pod machine. The room only provides 2 coffee pods, and you have to buy extra at €3.50 per capsule. (It’s the first room I’ve ever stayed in where there isn’t free tea and coffee making facilities). Plus, they only left bottled water on the first day. They did a turn down service (i.e. left a chocolate on the pillow) on one day but not the others. Inside the room, was a lounge area downstairs with sofa, desk and shower room, there was a room upstairs with bed and sofa, with an additional raised area/elevated section with the main bathroom. A set of doors led to an outdoor metal staircase which in turn led to a shared terrace with pool. The breakfast was good but would have been better with freshly baked bread, and a wider variety of fresh fruit. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was appreciated that they greet clients walking through the reception area.

Location was great, the room was not huge but very well organized and designed that it was perfect for us, shower water pressure was good, AC worked well once we figured it out! We got food and drinks on the roof and all was delicious! I would suggest they add a mocktail or two to the drink menu as my daughter was disappointed they didn't have anything fun she could have. The pool is TINY and we only put our feet in after a long day of walking but it's a lovely little rooftop that was never overly crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

We went to Barcelona for our daughters 9th birthday, who is a huge Barca fan. The staff in the hotel were amazing and particularly made sure she felt special. We stayed in the duplex family room, which has access to a semi private terrace and pool, which was amazing. The rooftop terrace is fantastic, and the staff there were wonderful also. The location is perfect, away from the heavy tourist areas with lots of great restaurants and cafes closely. We will certainly return.

We had a great stay! Beautiful, clean rooms and the staff went above and beyond. The rooftop pool and bar were an added bonus. Centrally located in quiet but walkable area just a short distance from the main sites. The gym was being renovated but they graciously directed me to a sister hotel down the street to access their gym for a workout. I would definitely stay again and recommend!

We stayed here for the moto gp. There is a really good womens clothes shop around back of hotel. There is a lovely bar around the corner and a fabulous tapas bar. This was perfect for our short stay. The room was basic but the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good the next morning.

The only thing I didn’t like is the bathroom. Quite slippery. Not ideal for elderly people and peoplewith disability.

Joseph and the rest of the staff at the desk were amazing. Very attentive and knowledgeable with the area and recommendations. Didn’t disappoint! Love the attitude and attention we received. It felt like home . Thanks you all the beautiful staff, that made our stay special.

Amazing place to stay. Wonderful experience, increible location, near restaurants, subway and a lot of interesting places to visit. Great breakfast with options. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, Joseph and Andrea, made our stay with the hotel an amazing experience. 100% recommended.

Breakfast was the usual continental so no surprise there . Location was great. I expected it to be much noisier but it was not and our room was right next to the plaza so that was a bonus.

Jamal welcoming us when we arrived.. Such a warm gesture. All Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this little place. Good breakfast and overall a good experience .

The hotel was everything that we expected and more. From the moment we arrived, Irene, the front of house host was fantastic and told us everything we needed to know. We arrived early thinking we couldn’t check in until 3pm and were told that our room was ready for us. Which was a great start to the holiday. The rooms were extremely clean and of a great size for a couple, and the hotel grounds were fantastic. They’ve recently updated the pool area, so there’s no muddy surroundings. It has been covered with artificial grass which, in my opinion, is a good additional feature as it’s no longer an eyesore for guests. The pool is also a decent size and wasn’t over crowded. All members of staff we come into contact with were extremely helpful and lastly, the decor of the interior is beautiful.

Breakfast was excellent, room was superior with a fantastic view and the pool(s) were super amazing..... i only wish we had this in California. I didnt realize it was much more than what the booking site gave. there was a botanical garden, a resting pond with koi/gold fish, a freakin day club!!!!! OMG had I known I would have planned to spend more time there to have lunch in the restaurant the cabanas and the DJ that was about to start just before we left..... :( I would make a trip back just to experience that alone. Service was great best I have ever had actually.......

When I booked this hotel, I was expecting a comfortable stay, but it exceeded my expectations. We stayed in a comfortable, clean suite, with everything we needed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The restaurant is perfect; everything is top-notch and excellently prepared. The staff is friendly and ready to help with any issues. The gym is impeccable; perhaps the only downside is the pool, which is unfortunately small for the number of guests, but the lifeguards do their best to accommodate everyone. Nothing to complain about. The Meia Torre Melia is absolutely perfect. Thank you.

The interiors and facilities were luxurious, pretty and always clean! We loved spending time in the sauna and pool. Our stay as Red Level guests was exceptional, we had unlimited snacks and drinks throughout the day and the gym was 24 hours which was a great feature and bonus!

Beautiful hotel with lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. We didn’t want to leave. The room was so luxurious as was the rest of the hotel. Nice pool area and delicious food.

I stayed here for 5 nights and the room was very clean, pleasant and with air conditing, which was needed in his heat and humitidy. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. The whole area is beautiful, and the pool was never too busy. We had wonderful views of the top of Tibidabu from both our room and the pool. The staff were so helpful and there were no issues communicating, despite my limited Spanish! The glass at the front of the building could do with a clean, but honestly, that is the only thing I could say that was negative. My window in my room was very clear and clean! I would definitely come back again. There is easy access to both trains and busses and a coffee shop, convenience store and pharmacy just a couple of blocks away. The old town is beautiful and less than 5 minutes away. I would come here again.

We found the property very clean snd the staff everyone was very helpful snd informative , the breakfast was very well taught out something for everyone . The pool was an added bonus and clean . The staff made this hotel a very good stay , at first we taught maybe it was a bit far out , but this turned out to be a very good thing . The area is very interesting and beautiful easy to explore and it felt very safe , even the people of the area was so friendly and helpful , becsuse this our first stay , we were told thst people in Barcelona were not friendly but we did not find that , the only thing we did find a bit surprising was thst done staff st dome stations did not know how to get to montserrat to the church if the black modanna, we found that a bit surprising as it’s one of the most beautiful places in Barcelona and the should be able to inform us how to get the train R5 our hotel told us the correct train no but it was a bit difficult on the metro as they did not know which station and sent ud to 3 different ones ,we only found it because a very kind passenger came with us and pointed out which dude snd which stop. We felt thst this should be very high on the tourist trail .

Proprieta is nice, modern furniture and indeed very clean. I was by motorcycle and the underground private garage and the pool are a great plus.

The staff was super friendly and having a pool is well appreciated 🩷 the neighborhood is really calm

Superb location - very close to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets. We really enjoyed walking down The Rambla Poblenou, which is a 2 minute walk, to eat, shop, drink, look at the architecture. This beautiful, long street leads away from the beach and up to the tram to take you further afield. You can also take buses easily from outside the hotel to central Barcelona. The beach right across from the hotel is beautiful and you can walk along left or right to the other beaches. Excellent service - staff were always ready to help. They offered beach towels and an umbrella to borrow for the beach. They gave us good advice and were there if we needed them. The pool was great! A perfect space to sunbathe and relax in the pool with a beautiful view of the ocean one side and the city on the other. A nice surprise was a birthday message and gift of chocolates for one of us left in the apartment. Comfortable apartment - rooms were clean and spacious. We had 2 bathrooms for 5 of us. There was a kitchen, dining area and comfortable bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning provided a cool haven from the scorching sun on very hot days. Loved it, we would go back! Thank you Lugaris!

Our stay at Lugaris Beach was truly unforgettable! The hotel is very close to the beach, and the neighborhood is absolutely lovely. There are all kinds of shops, restaurants, and cafés nearby — many of them open even late at night. Getting to the city center is also very easy thanks to bus stops just around the corner. The apartment was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need: a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, air conditioning… everything worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. There is a secure underground parking garage in the building, and we could take the elevator directly up to our apartment. It made bringing up our luggage very easy. We paid €20 per day for the parking. On the rooftop, there are two small pools: one is 50 cm deep and the other 110 cm. They’re perfect for kids, and the view from up there is really nice. Lucia, who welcomed us, was incredibly kind and friendly — she patiently answered all of our questions and made us feel truly welcome. If we return to Barcelona, we’ll definitely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Amazing. We will return next time we visit Barcelona. This apart was just as shown on the pictures, impeccably clean, well-maintained, and equipped with quality amenities. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, a BIG thank you to ALEX (awesome guy). The beach and a variety of dining restaurants are within distance. A nice pool and reliable Wi-Fi. We are on a European tour (family of four) and so far, our Barcelona stop is the best. Thank you, Lugaris Beach, we will be back!!!!

Fabulous apartment. Probably the most equipped apartment for cooking and family we have ever stayed in. Ours was very big, clean and secure. Staff were very helpful and additional supplies for cleaning was brought with no fuss. Easy check in and support if needed. The pool was clean and lots of roof space to sun bath. Great location for public transport and local Pobleneu is amazing for food and local vibe. Will definitely be back to stay here

The hotel is nicely decorated and in a central location. There is an excellent gelato place right near the hotel. We walked to La Rambla in less than 10 minutes. It is easy to get a taxi outside the hotel and the hotel staff arranged a taxi to bring us to the airport (45 euro for a large van). We stayed in another hotel in Barcelona on La Rambla for part of our vacation. When returning to Barcelona, we will only stay at Ohla Barcelona in the future. We really enjoyed our stay and the rooftop pool and terrace are the best.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ohla hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were modern, bed comfortable and it had all the facilities that you would expect of a hotel of this kind. My only gripe is that the toilet is hidden behind a door and while this gives privacy - there is no ventilation or air flow - so it's not great. However, besides that - the hotel was perfect for us. Location is fantastic - Gothic and Born neighbourhoods on the doorstep - heaps of restaurants, bars etc. We had breakfast in the hotel each morning and it was excellent. The pool was a welcome relief as it was very hot when we stayed in Barcelona. The view from the pool and rooftop bar was stunning. We would definitely stay here again - it was fantastic!

The location of the hotel is great, central and close to everything. Rooms are clean but very dark. The rooftop pool & bar area is a fabulous set up but the staff up at the pool are miserable and blasé and put you off going up there, service is slow. The actual hotel staff, Jenny, Javi and Sabrina were all amazing and how it should be when dealing with customers. They are a credit to the hotel.

Best of all were the staff. Always friendly and welcoming, lots of helpful advice and proactive on every front. Probably one of the best front desk/concierge teams we have come across, as nothing was too difficult. Location was great and very central - we walked everywhere from the property on most occasions. Roof top was amazing view and although the pool hours were limited for bar traffic, pool was a bonus.

This hotel in the Gothic Quarter EXCEEDED our expectations! Despite being in an old historic building, the rooms were modern and chic. Very comfortable beds, mini fridge, in room safe, tv, free waters, welcome drinks. VERY attentive staff and very service oriented and friendly. Well trained! On site restaurant is beautiful and serves a nice hot breakfast buffett, included in our room fee. Rooftop bar has a pool and very nice view of the city. Everything is clean and well maintained. Location is really quite perfect for exploring Barcelona. We could easily walk to some of the Gaudi houses, La Rambla, fine restaurants and bars for delicious tapas. We took cabs to La Sagrada Familia church and Parc Guell. Cabs were summoned for us by the bellmen and the ride was reasonably priced and quick compared to subway. We booked this hotel for two nights preceeding a cruise and had a different hotel booked for two nights after our cruise. After experiencing this fabulous hotel and location, we changed our reservation so we got two more nights here. I can't recommend this place highly enough! I researched alot before booking this trip. Aside, we experienced no anti-tourist demonstrations anywhere, media hype, and the people of Barcelona were very friendly everywhere we went!

First time that I’ve stayed in a hostel and I found it extremely comfortable, they have a solo shower and bathroom as well which as a hijabi was a lifesaver and meant I could get ready for the day without worry. It’s very quiet and homey, good if you need to balance with work commitments as they have a working area and very close to everything in the city. Staff are really nice and welcoming, and they have a group chat with other hostels so you can meet up with fellow travellers for organised picnics, beach outings, etc! Each room has a lock and they only let guests into the hostel, so it felt very secure. I’m a bit anxious, but felt comfortable leaving my things in the locker with a padlock after arriving and seeing the vibes.

There's a container of free stuffs from previous backpackers left for others to take. Staffs are friendly and helpful I like the curtains for privacy, and own lights and place to put stuffs on by bed. There is fan and AC. The room is very dark in the morning you could mistaken it been the night time, we do have windows, which is great. We got a big and small locker each. I love the balcony, I never used one when I traveling and stayed in a backpackers, it's my first time it was good.

Staff was really polite, friendly and helpful during the stay. Room and showers were really clean and even changed the bead sheets during my stay. There’s always someone at the check-in desk so getting in to the building is super practical. Other guests staying there were also nice and polite, very respectful in general. I like that the beds have a little curtain for privacy .

Best hostel I've stayed at! Fantastic atmosphere with a cosy common area, lovely roof top with access through the common area. Exceptionally clean, quiet rooms, real bedlinen with a thick duvet. Marco, so sympathetic and helpful made my stay! I'll always stay here on my future visits to BCN (I come on a regular basis).

Soul Backpackers exceeded our expectation regarding a hostel. The location is excellent as its almost at the center of all of the major tourist attractions in Barcelona. The staffs are great and they assist us well during our stay! Everything is organized and clean! Thumbs up and we will definitely comeback to barcelona and stay here again!

Friendly, extremely responsive and helpful… Diego was amazing and the front desk staff as well… the front desk asked what time we were arriving and offer to pick us up from the train station… since our arrival was before check in they offered to safely take our luggage to the hotel and drop us wherever we wanted, same for celiacs out they offered to accommodate shuttle to the airport since we have two under two and they could provide car seats. Hotel was clean and supper affordable. Diego makes small batches of croissants so they are always fresh and warm… would definitely come back

The property was lovely and clean , the maids made up the room and cleaned it everyday and we were only staying 2 nights . The staff were friendly and they had a cafe / coffee and tea machine to use as and when you liked ( €1.50 ) there was an iron to use at reception and towels were provided

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is beautiful, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to check in early as soon as we arrived — one of our rooms was ready, and we received the second room before the official check-in time as well. Everything was smooth and pleasant from start to finish. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, as well as their other property in Barcelona. I’ve stayed at both, and they share the same great service, hospitality, and comfort.

This hotel is close to everything — attractions, restaurants, stores, coffee shops, parks, you name it! The staff is kind and always smiling. Breakfast was delicious and massive, offering something for every taste. Great coffee too! I had schoolwork to do, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Plenty of hot water as well. Since the hotel is in the heart of a busy (and amazing) area, the street can get a little noisy at night, but nothing too bad. We were on the third floor and slept very well.

It was an excellent choice to book in this hotel,we were close to everything in the city you can walk to many places or just take a taxi,very close to public transportation too.in the hotel they are very kind,the hotel and all around there is very safe,I'll back in the future to this place my family and I we feel really pleased to spend ours nights there.

Absolutely everything. It is a mix of modern and rustical style what blends perfectly. The hotel is located in the Barcelona center, close to many sightseeings. The manemant and staff are wonderful and very helpful as my trip got complicated and the hotel cancelled other stayings without any fee (at no cost) which is quite rare these days. All in all - 10/10.

Mostly quiet. You can still hear your neighbors but to expect otherwise is not very realistic. Good balanced breakfast. They have hard boiled eggs if you wanted some protein without added salt or improve your hygiene. Also have fresh veggies fruits and I think I saw some whole grain breads as well. As well as dairy and yogurt. Well rounded health conscious breakfast.

Amazing location, in beautiful surroundings of Badalona. Even in February, there was a lot of city life - many streets just for pedestrians (no cars), shopping street, lots of restaurants, cafes, we loved it. From the other hand it is quiet enough to have a good sleep. Few steps from the accomodation, there is a train stop Badalona which will take you to the centre of Barcelona (placa Catalunya) very comfortably in less then 15 minutes (tourist Hola transportation cards are valid for that). There is also a perfect beach with promenade. Dont forget to visit absolutely stunning small family ran vegetarian restaurant Ingrediente Secreto, which is nearby. I absolutely recommend this Hotelito for its perfect location.

Excellent accommodation, metro and train that go to Barcelona at a distance of 3-5 minutes on foot. The apartment meets the needs of the family, refrigerator, air conditioning, kitchen utensils. There are many bakeries, shops, restaurants and even beaches nearby (if you come in the summer). Easy check-in, independent with instructions, safe neighborhood - for every recommendation.

Chambre pour 4. Incroyablement propre, exactement comme sur les photos. Super bien placé! A 2 min chrono de la plage. Il serait cool d’avoir un séchoir pour mettre à sécher les vêtements lorsqu’on les lave mais c’est vraiment si je devais chercher la petite bête. Très très très bon séjour. Nous reviendrons.

Having a place that accommodated all my needs was perfect. There was so much to enjoy in Badalona. The beach, the air, the food, the shops, and the museum were all within walking distance. I wish I’d have known how comfortable I was going to be so quickly. I’d have stayed longer.

It's location was smack in the middle of town. Brilliant to go out in the evening. We really liked it. The staff were wonderful and helped us so much with a few problems of logistics when we had to leave. Without their help it would have been a very different experience.

Property is in excellent condition. Lobby/reception desk, elevator, stairs were very clean and well lit. Our room looks modern with new dishwasher and washing machine. It is equipped with kitchen utensils and cookware. My family and I did not use them but as I inspect them, they looked very clean. Our check-in was assisted by Julia. She’s very friendly and always with a smile. She gave us a map and showed us how far or near we were to parks and recreation and several must see spots in Barcelona. She's so awesome. For the next couple days, reception desk was manned by Sara who was as wonderful as Julia. She greets everyone with a smile and just very welcoming. Our three nights stay at this property was one of the best in Spain. It is close to a lot of restaurants, bake shops, and small supermarkets. Property is block away to Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau. It is also within walking distance to the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. On our check-out we had problem getting a taxi using a taxi service app. Julia tried to help us by calling some taxi service companies. We were able to get taxi using the app but the extra effort she made does not come unnoticed. Our group consisted of three adults and three children under 10 years of age.

Mechaber’s were thrilled with our recent stay from check-in to check out. We stayed in a 2/2 that was so spacious and perfectly appointed. The design features were wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Great beds, great, blackout blinds, wonderful amenities and a lovely welcome breakfast basket that we received because we booked directly online. The location was perfect- close to Sagrada Familia and very quiet, not busy and noisy at night but so easy to get everywhere with a metro stop right across the street. Many many cafés and restaurants also very close walking distance. They thought of everything we might need. we arrived early and were able to leave our luggage in a very convenient storage and enjoy an entire day. Additionally, upon check out the team was able to Have a cab ready and he arrived early. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and very knowledgeable and we had an overall wonderful stay and are excited to be staying at the Eric Vokel Madrid suites next.

We had a pleasant stay at Eric Vökel Sagrada Familia Apartments. The location is decent—while it’s not in the heart of Barcelona, it’s just a short walk to the Sagrada Familia. Other attractions are a bit further, so a commute is required for more sightseeing. The apartments are modern, spacious, and well-equipped. We booked two rooms with two bathrooms, which worked perfectly for our group. The elevator is small, so it might feel cramped with large luggage, but it wasn’t a major issue. The staff was attentive and friendly, and we appreciated the complimentary breakfast package that came with our direct booking. The breakfast was generous and added great value to our stay. Overall, Eric Vökel Sagrada Familia Apartments offered a comfortable, well-priced option for our trip. While not in the city center, the location near the Sagrada Familia and the helpful staff made it a solid choice for families or groups looking for good value in Barcelona.

The apartment location is perfect just off the pedestrian friendly Av de Gáudi between the Sagrada Familia and the Sant Pau hospital. It is close to a number of restaurants and amenities. The apartment was great to cater for a family of 4, being two teenagers. It is bright during the day, with a nice balcony facing the main road. The kitchen is well equipped and we manage to have breakfast and some other small meals very easily at the flat. Comfortable beds for all of us! We checked out late on the 1st of Jan, but we were promptly helped via the contact phone at the checkin machine. Very helpful staff at the desk and easy early checkout process (5AM).

Brilliant location and amazing staff, we dealt with Julia and she was so helpful, polite and kind. She gave us lots of handy tips which were very helpful especially as we were travelling with young kids. Thank you Julia, you were amazing. The kids loved you :) We felt the location was excellent and safe with our young family. The facilities at the apartment were excellent, very clean and spacious. We had an issue with our shutters and cot however they were dealt with promptly, great service guys. I loved the idea of providing guest drinks and snacks on arrival! I will be sure to recommend Erik Vokel to my family and friends. One happy family :)

Great value for money. The rooftop was a nice feature and relaxing on the roof and using by the small pool was just to cool off was nice. Everything in the centre was all very walkable and a metro station was near by.

The hotel was in a great location. 2 mins walk from Para-lel Metro station, and a 10 minute walk to La Rambla and Liceu metro station, giving easy access to most places in Barcelona. Check in was quick, and hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. Checkout was also quick, allowed us to securely store our luggage while we spent the final day at the beach, and ordered a taxi for us to the airport, which is around 40 euros. The rooms are quite small and a bit dated, but clean and have a safe for valuables. Great option for those that don't plan on spending much time in the room and want a convenient place to explore Barcelona. Lots of convenience stores and bars/restaurants nearby. Would happily stay here again.

I book in a hurry and for the price I was expecting to lack some things. And indeed the room was small (but not so small by European standards) but it had all I needed in perfect condition, furniture and bathroom looked like new, had a sauna and a solarium on the roof top. And the breakfast was varied and delicious. The freshest green salad every morning! Staff was friendly and helpful. A note of caution: this is city center. Barcelona does not sleep. It parties. There will be street music, the occasional enthusiasm during or after a football game, youth cars at all hours. Do not come expecting quiet.

The room was excellent for the price range. I was really surprised that it had such a spacious bathroom. I was also very pleasantly surprised that there was a small kettle in it. The location is great. Very close to the metro and half an hour walk to the Stadio Olympico. I can only describe the breakfast in one word - excellent. Very tasty and well prepared buffet. I have to mention the great service. They are super helpful and nice, especially Eduardo and IIyan, but the other guys are great too. I can't say anything negative about my stay. Great hotel, service and location.

We recently stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Garbi Milleni and we really enjoyed our stay. It is located a short walk from the Gothic district which means it is out of the noise and the crowds associated with Las Ramblas and the other touristy areas. The room was smaller than we are used to, but that is very common in European hotels. The room was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing! Lovely space with lots of tables and many food choices. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Staff and concierge were very polite, professional and helpful. Traveling solo, I did feel my room location was a little isolating but perhaps they felt it was safer, quieter. The comps were nice (coffee and Park Griull) but I was unable to use either. Both were closed when I was ready to visit. Oh well. I was in a non-renovated room but found it to be a very nice room, would have loved to see a newly renovated room. Maybe next trip as I’d likely stay there again for convenience to all the things I enjoy. One day there was an arts fair where I found the best gifts made by local artists and craftspeople. Ending a 2week cruise with a short stay in Barcelona was ideal for me. Should I venture that way again Le Méridien will be my hotel of choice.

What I should mention here is Mr. Alex.A, I travelled a lot but never met a person Who extremely helpful and always smiling and welcoming everyone like him. He was very kind to us and to others when inquiring about anything. I think he loves his work a lot and enjoys it. The thing that will prevent me from booking in other hotels is the treatment of this person and his wonderful service. We had a small problem with taxis outside the hotel, and this person, when he noticed that, rushed to us quickly to solve the problem with them

We had stayed two nights there which was good in all respects anyway and then had superb managerial service We were intending to stay a further two nights with a prearranged high end tour that was potentially going disastrously wrong through no fault at all of the hotel. They stepped in and sorted this out in an incredibly objective and professional manner. The Day manager and the night Auditor both went way beyond what you could realistically expect. Would wholeheartedly recommend this for service location and comfort.

Central property in the HEART of the city with almost everything walkable from it. Clean with friendly staff. Breakfast add in option is a MUST with large variety if excellent food and omelet station. Expensive but the extra amenities such as bathrobes, complimentary 2 bottles of water per day, and accommodating staff make it worth it. Taxis waiting right outside in case you need to get around which makes it convenient.

This is a great hotel, with excellent location on La Rambla and near Gothic Quarter. The room was comfortable, roomy and modern with uptodate bathroom. The only problem we had as figuring out how to make the lights work. Also it seemed like the air conditioning didn't work through the night, it seemed to get warm in the room around 2 am. Otherwise, great hotel. Super staff.

Very stylish B&B in a beautiful historical building. Everyone who works there was super nice and such amazing people. The room was just like they show in photos. Absolutely lovely. Cleaning was everyday and the room was kept spotless. In the common room you have an access to coffee and home-made lemonade, to my opinion the best coffee in whole Barcelona and I could never have enough of the lemonade as well. So refreshing. For breakfast, 10 euro, make sure you try their caramel pancakes and the avocado toast. 🙂 I have stayed for 8 nights, to attend a course at the university and be able to enjoy the seaside in the evenings. Great connections to the city with Metro line or bus, no problems commuting. Plus evenings enjoying the sea and Rambla del Poblenou. Wifi connection was fast, no problems using my laptop for studies.

My friend and I loved our stay at Hostal Poblenou. Mercedes and Anna were so warm and welcoming. They were also so helpful whenever we needed anything! Thank you. We really liked the room. It was quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We really liked the communal areas too, especially that sun terrace for enjoying some food and the complimentary coffee! We loved the Poblenou area as it had lots of food & drink options, and it was really nice to walk around. We both like walking so we walked to see the Sagrada Familia and other attractions in the centre, but Hostal Poblenou is well-connected by public transport if you prefer not to walk. Also, the beach is easily within walking distance.

Room is clean. The hostess is warm, friendly, very nice and waited for my arrival to introduce me all the provided facilities such as drinking water and blankets in the reception room, tea bags, coffee and cocoa powder in the kitchen, seats in the beautiful balcony, even the special sailing tournaments going on in the nearby beach. The hotel isn't far away from public transportations and is super near (only 5 minutes walk) to the nearby beach. Breakfast is convenient, tasty and special. I also met other roomers accidentally in the balcony and we had a really great conversation. When I encountered a payment issue, the hostess was very patient and helped me try many solutions and we solved the issue eventually.

The hostal is a great place! We loved everything about it- it is full of nice thoughtful details and it is super cozy. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were super friendly and nice, they attended everything we asked them and more :) The neighbourhood is a bit outside the center itself but we loved that because it is super calm and nice! It had lovely bars and restaurants with decent prices, it is 5 mins away from the beach and metro takes you to the top center in 10mins, so for us the location was perfect!

We use B&Bs as much as possible when we travel and this is a gem!We couldn't have navigated our first time in Barcelona without the help of Mercedes and the entire staff.We were taken care of from A-Z far and beyond the responsibility of the B&B obligation.Subway maps,SIM card help and much more.This is our "go to" place in Barcelona from now on. And a short walk to the beach as well!

Standards in Barcelona are not as posh as some other cities so i will not compare them...The bed was comfortable and of the 5 nights we stayed only 1 night was noisy which surprised me being so close to Las Ramblas. The location can't be beat...near to Metro and if you're a walker you can do that too...next door to an amazing market...spent most nights in the Gothic quarter that is very near...the staff were all friendly and helpful...i felt safe as the front desk is monitored and front door is locked...just ring to come in...LOTS of hot water...we had just arrived from a week in Paris from a much nicer hotel that had absolutely no hot water so it was much appreciated...breakfast was nice and consistant...bring a whistle because it's the best way to scare away pickpockets...had 2 run ins with them on the Metro...thank you to Jonathon for making our stay memorable

This is a really nice hotel. It is very clean and nicely furnished, punching way above its 1* rating. We stayed with our 3 year old kids and they loved the bunk bed in our room which was spacious and comfortable (the kids shared the lower bunk). The bathroom was nice and spottles and a little balcony overlooking a narrow street was a nice add on. Even though the room is not too big, it has smartly attached shelves and hooks which allow you to store your everyday items without creating a clutter. The location is great too - safe and with many cafes and dining options just around the corner. We found a nice playground a couple of blocks away for our little ones. The hotel's staff is excellent and deserves a praise. Everyone in the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. Our stay coincided with the power outage that left Spain without electricity for about 10 hours. The staff advised us to the best of their ability, helped choose the best options for our onward trip and remained courteous despite the overall stressful situation of attending the guests in the dark, with no wifi and not knowing when the power will be restored.

We pulled up to the old exterior of the hotel and the cabbie said, "Good luck." So we were worried. I had selected the hotel based on location in the medieval quarter, and based on its proximity to so many attractions, including the markets and shopping. But we walked into the hotel lobby and it was clean, modern, minimalist, and it smelled amazing and the staff were very kind and accommodating and welcoming and young and stylish and attractive in this very Spanish way, and they pointed us to our room. Everything seems brand-new. The hotel is very small. The elevators fit two people plus luggage. We mostly took the stairs to our third-floor bedroom. The breakfast room is tiny but beautifully furnished, and it wasn't ever crowded. The family room is similarly tiny, with a tiny bathroom. But it had everything we needed, and the furnishings and amenities were new and really nice. While in Spain, we stayed in much more luxurious accommodations in other cities, with massive rooms and bathrooms. But this place sort of stole my heart--it was a peaceful oasis in a chaotic neighborhood. And it was the perfect home base for exploring beautiful Barcelona.

So happy we stayed here. We had two days to explore Barcelona (coming off a long flight for my kids' first time... so maybe more like 36 hours to account for jetlag recovery). I had studied here decades ago for a semester so knew this was in the area that would allow access to a lot in just 2 days. The hotel was perfect- modern, clean, helpful staff. Little balcony that was quintessential Barcelona. Great little lounge/breakfast area to help our family spread out while staying in the smaller quarters. Step outside to a great little cafe where my kids had baguettes with jamon iberico and Manchego both mornings (this made me happy!) - steps to the metro, Picasso museum and great Basque tapas... easy for us to get to Montserrat on our own, walk to see some of the Gaudi buildings and best of all close to la Boqueria for amazing food and Placa Reial... perfect perfect perfect. Thank you!!

I had a great stay. The location is excellent – La Boqueria Market is just 2 minutes on foot, the metro and bus stations are right nearby, and the airport bus stop is only about 10 minutes’ walk away. Most attractions are either within walking distance or very easy to reach by metro or bus. Breakfast was perfect – I honestly didn’t understand the bad reviews. There was plenty of choice and more than enough to start the day. The staff were polite and friendly. I had requested early check-in beforehand, and as promised, since the room was available, I was able to check in early – very convenient after arriving so early in Barcelona. I stayed in a single room, which was a bit small but cosy and fine for my 3-night stay. For a longer stay, I would probably choose a bigger room. Overall, an excellent experience. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Had a fantastic stay at the Avenida Palace, every member of staff I spoke to went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cater to our needs. Ate out most nights of my stay but had room service one night and the food was excellent. Lovely pool area and suntrap at the top of the hotel although the pool is small and only suitable for a dip in to cool off and not really suitable for swimming in. Special mention for Carlos and Lucciano on the bar downstairs who kept us well looked after with drinks and conversation.

El Avenida Palace is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, in our lives! The building is gorgeous, and the location is perfect to visit some of Barcelona's most iconic landmarks. The staff were very attentive and were happy to help us organize any travel. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the rooftop pool was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. With a view of the whole city and a pool-side bar, it was unforgettable. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We stayed for just one night at this beautiful hotel. We had just disembarked from a cruise ship and presented ourselves at the hotel hoping to leave our luggage. Imagine how pleased we were when the friendly lady on reception advised us that our room was available. The public rooms are opulent and there is lots of evidence of the hotel’s luxurious history. Our room was situated on the first floor at the front of the hotel with a view of the road. We were in the themed ‘ Beatles Suite’ which comprised of a wonderfully spacious bedroom, bathroom, dressing room and an entrance hall. As you might expect, memorabilia abounded with Paul’s guitar on the wall together with lots of pictures of when the Fab Four’s stay at the hotel when they played Barcelona in 1965. The hotel boast a delightful rooftop bar and pool area with tremendous views across the city. Breakfast was first class it was served in a bright and airy room. The food choices were extensive and delicious. We were heading home on an evening flight so we were thrilled to be offered a late check out with no extra charge. We both agreed that El Avenida Palace was the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Barcelona.

The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are pristine clean, the breakfast buffet has a great selection including champagne and everything is very fresh. We loved the rooftop pool and bar, the views overlooking Barcelona are stunning. This hotel is in a prime location and close to many attractions. The customer service is excellent and we would like to thank the entire staff for going above and beyond for us. In particular we would like to thank Sr.Rafael at the front desk for making our first time to Spain a most memorable welcome. We definitely recommend this hotel and we plan to return to El Avenida Palace in the future. Tip: Taxi from the airport to the hotel was 45 Euros. Tip: Recommend the suite, very spacious, separate living room area, dinning table, walk in shower and tub. The bathroom was extremely spacious. We loved it.
