The Ananea was such a beautiful place to stay at while in Tropea! We especially appreciated the personal pool we had access to with our room. While we never ate lunch at the hotel restaurant, the breakfast had a wonderful spread of meats, breads/croissants, made to order entrees, drinks, sweets, and dinner was exceptional as well. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the town center, which is appreciated because it is much more quiet than if we would’ve booked a place in the center. The employees were welcoming, friendly, professional, and did a great job at keeping us comfortable. I, sadly, didn’t take many pictures inside the room, but I included the beautiful nighttime ambience, the view from the hotel looking up at the town, and two of the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Ananea and if we ever have the chance to visit Tropea in the future, we definitely wouldn’t hesitate to choose it as our preferred stay. Thank you!

Superior hotel. 5 stars. Location, location, location! Classy. Spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Service was top-notch. There was an issue with our room allocation/number of people assigned to our room. The issue was my fault as I mistakenly booked a room for 3 people, not 4 (travelling with 2 adults and 2 teenagers). The front desk worked with us to rectify this problem :) The bathroom has beach flip-flops for everyone! great in-house toiletries. Very spacious rooms. The actual pool grounds were beautiful and serene. We also travelled with my parents and sister. As a larger group, the staff always ensured our pool and food needs were met. The hotel is located a short, 5 minute walk to the beach which is spectacular! Strongly reccommend going to the local market (on the way to the beach) to order paninos (sandwiches for the beach). You can walk up to Tropea within 10 minutes (great workout!) Highly recommend ordering an iced coffees from the bar!

The hotel is a hidden gem located in the hidden gem of Southern Italy. Staff were exceptional... Reception, restaurant, pool attendants and cleaning..... The southern Italian hospitality exuded. The hotel is in a prime location, nestled by the port and beside the best beaches in Tropea and beneath the hustle of Tropea town. I travelled from a 5 star hotel in Materra and Ananea was superior. I only wish my stay was longer than 5 days. Thank you. I look forward to a return visit.

The hotel was a welcomed oasis after a long drive. Beautifully designed with all of the modern conveniences. Our room was lovely with a huge shower, which is rare in Italy! Modern. Comfy beds with a pillow menu. Across the road from the marina that has a small supermarket, laundry, and a few bars. Easy walk to the swimming beach and to the town up the stairs. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool area is very lux!!

We had the most amazing stay, the rooms were spotless as were all the other facilities. The pool area is gorgeous and even better than the photos. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and the meal we had at the hotel restaurant was one of the best we had in Tropea. We booked last minute due to the hotel we initially booked being very poor on arrival, and it saved our holiday! Would highly recommend

I liked thé individual chalets and each with a small garden. The grounds were good and beach was amazing. It is a beautiful part of the world.

Insgesamt ist die Anlage modern gestaltet und absolut gepfelgt. Die Lage des Haupthauses liegt jedoch unmittelbar an der Straße. Die großzügige Eventräumlichkeit liegt weiter hinten auf dem Grundstück und ist deutlich ruhiger. Hier hätte man bei der Bebauung vieleicht etwas tauschen sollen. Trotz hochwertiger Schüco Klasse 3 Schallschutzfenster ist die Gerüchskulisse im Zimmer noch wahrnehmbar. Die Schwachstelle ist hier die Abluftanlage aus dem nur mit einer Glastüre abgegrenzten Bad. Durch augenscheinlich fehlenden Schalldämpfer dringen hier die Störgeräuche der Straße ein. Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Flughafen und einem großen Krankenhaus, so dass wähend unseres Aufenthaltes mehrfach Hubschrauber in geringer Tiefe immer wieder um das Hotel geflogen sind. Soviel zu den störenden Dingen. Wenn man weiß worauf man sich einlässt, ist das Hotel dennoch zu empfehlen. Man wird mit ausreichenden kostenlosen Parkplätzen und einem erstklassigen Frühstücksbeffet belohnt. Rührei mit Speck, frisch gepresster Orangensaft und sogar eine Auswahl an Smoothies können kostenlos bestellt werden. Für die Größe des Hotels war die Auswahl am Buffet perfekt. Auch eine leichte Varianz war von Tag zu Tag festzustellen. Die Zimmergestaltung ist sehr modern und auch die Außenanlage mit dem Pool ist ein Traum. Ein kleiner Spabereich liegt direkt am Pool und kann stundenweise exklusiv gebucht werden (Whirlpool mit Liegen, Dampfbad mit Blick auf den Pool und Sauna) - die Preise sind jedoch überzogen.

We stayed at the hotel for one night because it was conveniently located near the airport. It was the perfect choice for a short stay! The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The pool was fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. What really stood out was the amazing staff. They were incredibly helpful and friendly. They assisted us with booking a taxi both to and from the hotel, which made our travel stress-free. They also helped us when we lost the nozzle for the hairdryer—such thoughtful service!We stayed at the hotel for one night because it was conveniently located near the airport. Our flight was delayed so we arrived at 11pm without dinner. The host did everything he can to assist us. He first phoned the nearby pizzeria but they are closed. Then he went to the kitchen and provided boiled eggs and some fruite to us which was really nice! The room is small but equipped with everything you need. Pool is a plus! I recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to spend their holidays in lamezia!

All was perfect. It is a brand new place with all facilities wished, including a swimming pool. A great place to relax and stay a couple of days.

The team at Il Borghetto Creative Resort are so lovely. They WhatsApp’d me before arrival to check what time we’d arrive so I had their direct line for anything we needed throughout our stay (which was only one night). There is safe and secure parking in front of the main conference/entrance area for free for guests, which was great! The accommodation down the back of the property was a gorgeous change of scenery from the entrance area atop the hill. It honestly felt like you were walking back in time to a gorgeous Italian summer private villa. The room (we stayed in number 3) was super modern, well appointed and very spacious with a gorgeous little balcony looking over the pool. Speaking of, the infinity pool is awesome- large resort style pool amongst the green country side, with great deck chairs, umbrellas and a quaint poolside bar with incredibly Italian jazz-esc tunes playing all afternoon- so damn relaxing and chill. Many Aperol Spritz and (free- with drinks purchased) snacks were enjoyed. The hotel was only a 5 min drive or <10 euro tuk tuk into the main square of Tropea so a lovely distance from the hustle of Tropea (if that’s what you’re after). Breakfast was a fulfilling buffet- sweet and savory options, juice, fresh coffee etc. Can’t fault this place tbh!

Our family were fortunate enough to stay at this lovely resort for 5 days in early July. On the whole our experience was fantastic I would recommend to anyone who wants to relax outside the hustle and bustle of Tropea. Our room was spacious, with a good size bathroom. The room had a balcony over looking the attractive pool area and views out to the sea. The hotel grounds are meticulously landscaped with beautiful plants, flowers and trees. The pool was immaculate and clean with comfortable loungers and towels provided. There is a pool bar available and snacks accompanying the drinks. There is a small selection of toasted sandwiches / salad's available for lunch. Breakfast was a highlight with traditional Calabrian fare as well as the option for eggs / omelettes etc housed in a beautiful outdoor setting. The service was excellent - the property is family owned and you can see the care and attention & pride they put into their customers and work. We highly recommend this hotel for the serenity and relaxation, balanced by the access to the wonderful town of Tropea.

Il Borghetto was a perfect choice for visiting Tropea. Only a few kilometers out of Tropea town (and a hotel shuttle can drop you in town and pick you up for a nominal charge, saving the need for a taxi - which are a rarity in Tropea) the hotel had beautiful grounds and a wonderful pool that was large and ultra clean. A small bar beside the pool could provide snacks and drinks, and there are plenty of umbrellas available to sit under. One of the best things about Il Borghetto is the staff, with Eleanore, Frederika, Manuel, Massimo and so many others making you really feel like part of the family. The hotel picked us up from the train station and dropped us off again when our stay was over. The fresh breakfast in the morning was something you looked forward to the day before . Tasty and homemade food was a delight. I would stay again without hesitation. We even arranged a massage at the hotel for my wife and I and Vera. the masseuse was an expert at her job! All in all a wonderful Tropean stay.

Il Borghetto is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you enter reception to be greeted by always-smiling Manuel, to the moment you check out, your stay here is sure to be amazing. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate, and so colourful and beautiful. The rooms are very tastefully furnished, and impeccably clean. It is a pleasure to walk into your room each time. The pool and poolside bar are so lovely, with an atmosphere of pure relaxation. And the breakfast - wow. Everything is home-made and prepared on-site by a team of lovely ladies and is delicious. The breakfast room is outdoors on a picturesque shaded terrace space in the garden and is the perfect way to start your day. It is not too far to walk to walk into the main part of the town, around 10-15 minutes. We really hope to come to Tropea again and Il Borghetto will be the only hotel we stay. Thank you Manuel and team, you are amazing!

From the moment you enter the gates you are treated with impeccably well manicured gardens. With plenty of parking if traveling by car. Walk into reception and you are greeted by the most welcoming host, Manuel who is very eager to explain things about the hotel and things to do around Tropea. Our room was very clean, nicely furnished and had a balcony overlooking the immaculate kept pool area. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to swim in the pool. The relaxed outdoor area in the shaded garden is a perfect way to eat an excellent delicious buffet breakfast with a large selection of home made savory food, sweets and espresso coffee, Thank you to the friendly ladies who always served breakfast with a lovely smile on their face. Casale Ro in Roccella Ionica is an absolute gem! The house is super spacious, making it perfect for a big family or a group of friends. It’s fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, like literally, they even have bassinets for infants there. They provided all the bathroom toiletries, slippers, bottled water and juices, and even pasta if you feel like cooking. The AC works great in every room. The highlight for my kids was definitely the pool and the beautiful garden with olive trees. The terrace and balcony with a sea view were perfect spots for morning coffee or evening drinks. The WiFi works perfectly too. Antonio, the host, is super nice and helpful. He recommended a great restaurant nearby and a local museum to visit. Overall, Casale Ro is a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway in Roccella Ionica. Highly recommend! 👍

The accommodation was luxurious and modern, looked brand new and was decorated tastefully from the furniture to the cutlery, everything was well thought out. The breakfast on the top floor terrace was always nice, the food offered is homemade and fresh every day, the cakes made from local fruits and the jam is delicious! The location was ok, 15 min walk from Reggio Centrale train station, about 10 mins down the hill to the shops, towards the waterfront and about 1 min walk to the castle. The aircon in the room was a godsend, otherwise it would have been uncomfortably hot. The room is really quiet and very big and spacious. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, providing local restaurants recommendations and transport arrangements to suit our plans. Overall a fantastic stay, i would recommend! My mum and i were incredibly touched by the warmth and hospitality of Paolo and Giuseppe, hopefully we will be back soon!

Beautiful room, great location, cool little town. Very helpful directions and suggestions from owner. Nice self serve breakfast . Parking right out front. We booked 2 rooms for a short stay before our flight early the next morning, as the location is a few minutes from the airport. We were pleasantly surprised at what a great find this place is and what a lively area this is. Had a delicious authentic Italian dinner at a Trip Advisor #1 rated restaurant down the street recommended by the owner. Only drawback is you have to haul your bags a couple of flights of stairs if the owner isn't around when you leave. Owner will call to meet you on your arrival. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed for four nights at the beginning of May 2011 and were very impressed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious and spacious.Breakfast was typical Calabrian home baking and very plentiful.The owners were very helpful, giving directions for sightseeing and travel around the area. They recommended a nearby restaurant Re Ruggero which was fantastic. Marvellous food at a great price.One evening they even picked us up from a restaurant when it started to rain! We highly recommend Al Castello. Happy travellers( English couple)

The homemade breakfast and fresh coffee each morning on the rooftop terrace was a treat! The room was spacious with a huge bathroom. Two balconies made for a nice breeze, we only used the very quiet in room AC at night. The private wi-fi was an added bonus as well. Al Castello is centrally located, a quick walk to the main streets of Reggio. The staff was friendly and responsive to questions as well.

We had a great night stay. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful by providing valuable information about the sights and getting around town. The room was lovely for a night respite...modern, funky and clean! Great value. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The evening boardwalk was a great happening place to roam at night! All ages were strolling the strip well into the late night!

The BNB in Reggio Calabria was great! Joe greeted us at the door with a friendly smile. Joe was very helpful explaining the local map and what sightseeing spots we needed to explore. The breakfast was great and the marmalade with the cheesecake was homemade. The room was very clean and had a big spacious bathroom! The BNB was in a great location and was in walking distance from a lot of things!

A bit difficult to find around the one way system of Reggio Di Calabria but well worth searching out. The rooms are large, clean and tidy and breakfast includes home made products. The staff could not have been more helpful and upon arrival offered us coffee and provided a map of the town and gave us great detail of the places to visit

This place was very clean! The staff was very friendly! There was a large staircase that we had to pack our luggage to the top of!

Abbiamo trovato professionalità e cortesia da parte dello staff. La nostra camera, spaziosa, pulita, fresca e ben arredata in stile vintage, è risultata molto accogliente. La piscina, immersa nel verde e ben curata, la tranquillità che avvolge la tenuta, distante solo due chilometri dal mare, ci hanno permesso di rilassarci. Consigliatissima anche alle famiglie con bambini!

Posto tranquillo per un relax totale. Appartamento completo di tutti i comfort, piscina splendida. Consigliato a chi vuole veramente rilassarsi, nei dintorni tante spiagge da visitare.

The accommodation was clean will all we needed and the pool was fabulous.

We stayed for a family vacation. The service was excellent. The room was very clean and spacious. The highlight was breakfast every morning. The only negative comment has to do with the pool....we were travelling with our children ages 9 and 12 and the use of the pool for my children was discouraged during peak times. This hotel caters to a higher end clientele and children seem to be a distraction?

Hotel and staff were awesome. We were very late checking in because of issues at the airport but it was no problem with them. Room was comfy and clean, had a great balcony and bathroom. The pool was fantastic and breakfast was very good with a great selection. Only issue is with the area, no where to walk to get food, drinks or toiletries but they will call a cab for you to take to the local town.

Very clean and tidy. Well maintained and organised. Nice spa and pool. Room was a bit too warm and I was unable to cool it down, but I was also too tired to be bothered.

Traveling through Europe. This was a stop off point prior to traveling to Sicily. Great hotel. Only drawback was the pool was not freely available and there was a charge per hour for usage

Spacious suite room provided to house 2 Adults & 2 Children. Nice breakfast setting in outside courtyard. Air conditioning is managed centrally so can't be adjusted within the room itself, initial setting was 26Degrees. It was unclear at booking as to whether access to the swimming pool was included with the room package purchased, as there was a wellness package offered also.

We loved our stay here. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed every bite. The swimming pool area is great in the summer weather. And it was fun to stay in a 16th century castle!

Loved the apartment and the new infinity pool. Really enjoyed the outside space and the breakfast! Also the buggy tour around the estate was amazing and we paid for horse riding which was good value and great fun!

Lovely location in the middle of nowhere, where you can just hear birds and insects; away from it all. Good breakfast, most of the items were homemade using the fruit and veg they grow themselves. Lovely infinity pool.

The castle is a very impressive historic building which houses some suites along the lower perimeter walls (and I believe other accommodation) and a wonderful breakfast location within the living quarters of the castle. Our accommodation consisted of a living room which was well equipped with cooking equipment, table, chairs etc. and small bedroom which was prettily furnished with everything one might need. The bathroom was large and newly refurbished. All in all it was a pleasant and cosy nest where you could spend a week. We only stayed one night so were unable to use the beautiful pool, garden and other facilities. Dinner is served in the old apiary in the garden, the food and wine list were good as was the service, it was warm & cosy during the cool weather when we visited and I imagine delightful in the summer. Beware that this is a venue popular with weddings so visiting during that season could be difficult however, I would definitely recommend a Spring, Fall or Winter visit. One thing I would suggest to management : more than one comfortable chair in the suites! Top tip : follow the hotel’s own signs on approach and not your GPS!

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. Staff: From check-in to check-out, the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, and their friendly approach made me feel right at home. Cleanliness: The entire property was spotless. My room was immaculate upon arrival, and housekeeping maintained it to the highest standard throughout my stay. The common areas were also consistently clean and well-kept. Location: The hotel is in a fantastic location—close to key attractions (7 minutes walk to the main beach) restaurants, yet quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful rest. It was convenient for exploring the area and very easy to get around. Safety: I felt completely safe during my stay. The hotel has excellent security measures, and the staff were attentive and reassuring. The surrounding neighborhood also felt very secure, which gave me peace of mind, especially when returning late in the evening. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-notch service.

Our recent stay at the Solmaris Tropea exceeded our expectations. The Solmaris is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. It is newly constructed. Our room was refreshingly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. They offer an excellent breakfast assortment. The location is perfect—about a seven-minute walk to the village, with many restaurants and activities. The staff went above and beyond to answer every question even before we arrived. We want to thank Maria and Chiara for always going the extra mile to make our stay at the Solmaris a most memorable experience. We highly recommend the Solmaris Tropea and look forward to returning someday.

It’s a beautiful property everything is new and all fittings and furnishings a high quality. The location is only 4-5 minute walk from the centre, there is also a secure garage available upon request for your car. The staff are all amazing, friendly, courteous and provide great service with a smile. Breakfast is plentiful with a large selection and the staff are constantly filling the buffet while making sure everyone is comfortable and cleaning up as guests come and go. This is our second stay here and we will defiantly be staying here on our next visit to Tropea.

INCREDIBLE! On our way to Tropea we had a big airport delay and we missed our train. The accomodation went out of their way to arrange a driver for us at 1am in the morning! They also stayed away and kept messaging us on WhatsApp to make sure we arrived safely — they were up messaging us until 3am! We could not believe how amazing this place was. They were so supportive and helpful. The breakfast is the best we had in Italy and the location of the property is the BEST. You must book here if you come to Tropea!!

My stay was for 14 days which is particularly long and enjoyed every minute! I did have the junior suite, so ample room. It was clean and tidy, housekeeping staff were amazing. Maria and Francesco on the front desk always so accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic and I'm really fussy (unfortunately I didn't get the lady name but she was just so lovely) I never write reviews however I feel this place is worth taking the time to do so. They made my stay very special. Grazie mille and look forward to seeing you all again xx

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Colomba D'Oro. The room was absolutely beautiful—clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, making our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The location is perfect—just a 2–3 minute walk from the city centre, very quiet and safe, even at night. One of the best parts was the staff's helpfulness. We had a late flight on our departure day, and they kindly kept our luggage after checkout, which made things so much easier for us. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Colomba D'Oro for anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again!

This is one of the most pleasant hotel stays we have ver had. We got the reservation at a very good rate and the room was furnished beautifully, with a very comfortable bed, and a refrigerator. Two windows gave it excellent ventilation. The breakfast was very good, and the hotel is conveniently located; it is a short walk from the train station, within a few minutes of the historic old town, and close to the ocean front. There is also a good-sized supermarket about a 10 to 15 minute walk away, so one can buy some food to keep in one's room.

The breakfast was incredible! Lived up to my expectations. My son, husband and I all loved it. Breakfast and reception staff were so kind and accommodating. Breakfast staff would make my son a frothed milk each morning and sprinkle cocoa powder on top. I loved that you could get beach towels and umbrellas there every morning to bring down to the beach. My son loved the huge shower and made it easy to clean him up after a day at the beach. It was less than a 15 min walk to the beach. The value is incredible.

This was a really great location. The hotel is very nice. We had breakfast the morning we left to go back to Rome. Suzanna was the best. She had Italian music playing in the restaurant and was singing with it. It truly was a cheerful atmosphere. She was so pleasant to be around and made sure that we were comfortable. She made the best coffee. I loved the fact that the hotel was only a couple of blocks from the piazza in the city center of Tropea.

The property is spectacular! The rooms are large, extremely clean and well appointed. The photos online do not do it justice! Beautiful neighborhood with many restaurants just steps away. I was a solo female traveler and felt very safe even walking to dinner by myself in the evening. The culture of TROPEA is warm and welcoming. The hotel owners and staff were beyond amazing as well as local shop owners who easily became my friends! Will definitely stay at the hotel again in near future

What a little gem! The staff were incredibly helpful, the hotel was well kept, it had all the amenities and they worked, a lovely restaurant area and bar area. Being on the main road it was easy to find with good parking facilities. Our stay was what one should expect, easy and quick check in with everything one needs at their fingertips. This is now on my ”where to stay” list when I’m back to visit relatives

Very good hotel, helpful and friendly staff, clean, beds linen changed daily, good BF offering, close to the beach. Stayed 4 nights and it was good, hotel staff helped us with all enquiries including carrying our luggage and booking taxi. Highly recommended.

Overall the hotel is situated minutes fro Catanzaro Lido with its splendid beaches , restaurants and cafes. Room were spotless and the staff great. Restaurant provided professional service and fantastic menus influenced by Calabrian cuisine . I will definitely return when I can

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights at the start of our honeymoon. After the drive up a very steep and windy road we were greeted by the resort. Our room looked out over the pool and the surrounding countryside, which was a great view to be greeted by on the terrace which we used morning and evenings. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful suggesting places to visit when the weather didn't allow you to sit around the pool to relax. The event staff tried to encourage you to join in daily in the activities on offer, although they were not intrusive. The food was excellent - there was a variety of fresh fruit, pastries, cheeses and ham for breakfast and the a la carte dishes we chose in the evening we were wonderful.

This was my second time to Popilia and I was not disappointed at all with the resort.The staff, hotel and facilities were fantastic. The food was lovely and very well presented. The pool was very clean and pool staff were extremely helpful. Really looking forward to another visit in the near future.

We’ve just returned to the UK from a wonderful trip. The resort is beautiful- it’s alive with animals, birds and plant life. The birds I heard with my bird app were incredible. The bungalows were perfect for our family, giving us space and privacy. The weather was a little cold and cloudy as it was April, but we had plenty to do, playing mini golf, taking the mountain bikes out and spending time with the animals. The pool looked gorgeous and a good size but too cold to go in this time. The views are incredible! The staff were helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone spoke good English and we were able to check in early and check out late without fuss. Internet was tricky to connect to, but fast and good when we did. We took a taxi to Pizzo, which is just lovely too. It’s worth knowing that the resort is accessed via a steep and slightly winding road, so prepare for this if driving- but this is why there is the view! We thought the restaurant was very good too, a little fine dining but the tuna and swordfish in particular were delicious. We loved it here and will definitely be back soon!

We stayed at this hotel as a "landing spot" while visiting family in Calabria. My only regret was that we didn't spend more time here. It is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are immaculate. The pool was so refreshing and had constant sun! We had a villa/cottage and it was perfect for our family. We got to play mini golf and had the course to ourselves. The breakfast was great! We had dinner once at the restaurant and it was delicious! Staff are friendly and very polite. Can't wait to go back!

Popilia was an incredible place to stay. Eveything about the resort is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and was always very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately kept. The grounds are also meticulously maintianed. The pools is huge and makes you feel like you are in the Caribbean. The restaurant is also very good. If i had to give one criticism it would be to have a wider selection of food options for lunch or dinner. Otherwise 10 out of 10!!

Visiting to attend a family wedding nearby, we booked 4 rooms. Very elegant, spacious, air conditioned foyer with quirky artwork. Nice bar and bar staff were happy to serve us late at night. All allocated bedrooms were spacious, immaculately clean, well-equipped with fridge, safe, hairdryer, toiletries, etc. Cleaners swept & mopped the tiled bedroom floor daily. Although we'd requested a room on a high floor,,we were actually delighted with our room on the ground floor, near the pool, easy reach of the restaurant, with patio and outdoor furniture to enjoy our breakfasts. All staff very kind, helpful & friendly. Although no menu to be found anywhere showing daytime snacks, the restaurant staff quickly provided sandwiches upon request. On the last day I mislaid our car key and the Reception staff kindly informed the restaurant staff who then very kindly allowed us to have a hearty breakfast even though they'd closed. Lovely spacious pool with plenty of loungers, reclining chairs and parasols. Nice coastline just across the road.

The hotel is decorated with great taste. I loved the pavements, the stairs, the garden with beautiful trees and flowers. The staff was very nice, helpful and available for any assistance required. Extremely pleasant place with breathtaking views on the sea and sunsets. The swimming-pool is beautiful and it's a very welcoming area. It was also extremely pleasant to enjoy the seaside with all facilities (beach chairs & umbrella) just crossing the road ; the sea is so clear and beautiful, I most enjoyed snorkelling each time we went there.

Fario the Mêtre is the expert in Drinks! Very concerned about you. The two Ladies on the Frontdesk very helpful and always friendly and know about the region. All the staff Antonio always smiles. Simone and Luca the lifeguard and responsible at the beach and pool so friendly. The beach right in front of the hotel. The hotel very nice for Dinner and good wine! Nice atmosphere and fabulous view. Very silent in the night. All is perfect! The best Hotel in this area.

Perfect distance from town. About a 15-20 minute walk but it’s a beautiful walk along the coastline. Being slightly out of town meant it was extra peaceful with no traffic. Beautiful private beach directly opposite hotel. Pool was immaculately clean and spacious. Cleaning was immaculate. Mattress was unbelievably comfortable. Room was perfect size. Private terrace was spacious with a jaw dropping view. Honestly, this place is an absolute gem.

Our third yearly visit, feels like you are back with family. The breakfasts are good, I just wish the evening menus gave more choice. The beach is just a minute walk away and you get a dedicated sunbeds for the length of your stay. The swimming pool is nice too. Of course the Thyreann Sea is just the clearest you could wish for. This is my second time at Marconi Hotel and I'm totally satisfied with it. The best thing about the hotel is the service, the staff is always so smiley and willing to help, especially Maria Francesca at front office. The room was big , refurbished and clean , I appreciate the breakfast room service as it's very safe and the breakfast itself very good.

Spotless room and clean, Nice views of the town, Helpful staff. Good Breakfast and excellant location close to the Motorway. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Onsite parking on site is an extra bonus. I recommend to travellers looking for a relaxing stay at this hotel.

Our second time in this hotel. Very nice and comfortable room with kitchenette facilities and amazing views of Rende. Parking onsite is a great bonus. Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. Walking distance to the centre.
