My husband and I went for a destination family wedding. We stayed in a preferred level room and enjoyed the adult only pool area, swim up bar and butler service. Zoro helped to make every day better! We also enjoyed the use of Breathless, particularly the French restaurant.

We enjoyed our time here and the staff was amazing! Breilin, our concierge was always quick to respond and provided us with any answers we needed. The grounds were clean and we loved the swim out room

We LOVED our experience! The place is very clean and the people are wonderful! If you’re looking for a great time and great food this is the place for you! Our room was a swim out to the bar which was pretty cool! We loved our mini fridge! The pool was very nice; we loved the lazy river that went around the pool slides!

The property was wonderful. But the staff made our trip. They were so friendly and accommodating. The people who serviced our room went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. There was always someone coming by when by the swim up pool, community pool or beach asking if we needed anything. Kudos the staff for making sure we were catered to.

Amazing holiday at Dreams Onyx. Service was great and staff are very helpful and friendly. Great food and a la carte restaurants. Pool is amazing and we loved having a swim up. First time in DR so we didn't know what to expect but it surpassed our expectations. We would highly recommend. Will be returning next year.

The kids loved it. Bunch of stuff to do. Food is hit or miss. But the pools are nice, loved the lazy river, and swim up bars. Just wish the pools stayed open later than 6pm. The “app” was nice to see what was going on for the day, just wish they kept it updated and gave a location - the property is really big!

The property is safe, good conditions. What I didn’t like was the humidity and smell on the rooms because of the private pool. the a/c units on rooms I did not like entertainment needs more attention. I was expecting more live music, better shows. But overall is ok. The buffet was repetitive and I got sick the first night. Customer service at front desk needs more attention. But I have to say that Maria (housekeeper) and Ricardo at the bar on the pool made our days better! Always smiling.

We had such an incredible stay at Ocean El Faro. We had a swim up suite so every day just had beautiful views and was so convenient. In addition we had a butler named Jose, he was so attentive and made sure my husband and myself were taken care of. He booked all reservations for us, made sure our room was stocked, and took care of any special requests. We could not say enough how great he was, would recommend requesting him personally if possible. Where we were located we took advantage of the Pool Bar by the lazy river. Omar and Danny saw us coming and would have our drink order ready for us, they were excellent. It’s also close to the beach entrance, which we enjoyed some evening walks on. Our favorite restaurant at the resort was Dolce Vita, it is one that requires a reservation. Our server Luis was also a favorite, his recommendations made for an even better evening. The resort is large, but they make sure it is so convenient with multiple pools, restaurants, and a trolley you can catch to help you get around. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Ocean El Faro and would love to visit again.

Kevin was our client specialist and he did an amazing job! He assured we had everything we needed and made reservations for us accordingly. It was a group of 19 of us and he handled it with such ease and made our stay amazing! The resort was beautiful,clean, and had alot of entertainment! It is great for families and also teens looking to have a good time. Foam parties, beach parties, shows, nightclub, and food was 10 out 10! Rooms are spacious but would definitely recommend the swimup room. The spa is also amazing and has a cold hydro therapeutic pool for relaxation. Will definitely stay again! Thank you Kevin and Ocean El Faro staff for making our vacation a great time!

The entire resort was extremely clean. The staff was so pleasant and professional. For an all inclusive, the food was really good and the variety was plentiful. Loved the Oceana and its location to the swim up bar.

Stayed in the preferred club junior swim out. First day I had to call to have the pool clean because there was leftover swimwear and dirt. This problem was resolved quickly. The timely manner of customer service needs some improvement. I did not think the VIP was worth it for this resort. No one really checks to see who is preferred and who is not. Butler service was just OKAY. Overall I did enjoy this resort, just need some improvements in different areas.

I loved the room it was very beautiful. The swim up room was perfect especially when the pools close for the day.

Beautiful grounds. Swim-up rooms were great. The lagoon next to the hotel was the perfect place to swim. The El Beso part of the resort was fantastic, especially the adults-only restaurant on the beach. The lobby is beautifully designed and has a fascinating architectural concept, and the lobby bar and piano bar were really elegant. The buffets were surprisingly good for an all-inclusive resort.

We had 2 concierges Marcos and Carlos that made our 2 week honeymoon here fantastic! The weather is super hot and humid compared to where we live, so we were constantly asking Marcos and Carlos for more waters and sodas for our room. They both also helped with booking reservations for us at the reservation restaurants like Sakura and Dolce Vita. Housekeeping was amazing and always kept our room sparkling clean whenever we asked or didn't have the "do not disturb" sign up after a night of drinking lol. The bartenders were amazing and constantly kept our drinks full, even from our swim up pool. All servers at the restaurants and buffets were super attentive and very friendly. We did happen to get sick mid way through our stay and our one concierge, Carlos, made sure we were given extra waters and even had a free continental breakfast delivered to our room. You will never walk past a worker here that isn't smiling! The lagoon to the left of the resort was absolutely beautiful and even had a horse on the shore that was extremely friendly. Bingo was a big tradition during our stay and was always hosted by someone great and super energetic. We also really loved the foam party at the party pool on the El Beso side. We met tons of great people during our stay and this is definitely one to remember.

I stayed at the Ambar Beautiful resort, room Beautiful, pools Beautiful. I wish the swim up pools were heated. The only issue was that the staff didnt know what was going on. Everyone gave you a different answer. Front desk should be on the same page with information. But amazing place to stay.

Awesome property with lots of dinner choices and great entertainment. Rooms are clean and the turn down service was awesome. The swim up pool was a real bonus. We will be back in the fall.

I loved my swim up JR suite , that was probably the best part of my stay. Not much activity going on at this resort so if your just trying to relax i would recommend. The food was mediocre, all the staff was pleasant. Everyone was very nice and welcoming very safe resort.

I joined the diamond club after 3 days and felt like the most special person in the world. My butler Roberto was my favorite part. He catered to me because of my medical issue. He made food reservations, let me know the daily activities and was quick to respond to my requests. I had an issue where I needed to go to the resort Doctor. Roberto walked me to the doctor and stayed with me until I was done. The doctor was amazing. He was Thorough and spent a long time with me not just a quick 15 minute exam. Let me clarify this was my issue nothing to do with the resort. I got moved to a room that has the swim out pool attached to your patio. Amazing!! Splurge and get it. Totally worth it. The beach is beautiful and sitting in comfortable loungers sipping a drink was magical. The drinks flowed freely and were never watered down. Everyone from the gardeners to top management say hello all with a smile on their face. I don’t know how they do it but many staff even remember your name. I felt completely safe and never worried about anything at all. The food was 5 star in my opinion. The buffet really stands out for me. The set up was not only delicious but pleasing to the eyes. There are 7 different restaurants if I remember correctly. Every day and nite there is fun entertainment. I didn’t experience the nite life but it sounded like everyone was always enjoying themselves. The area was clean, rooms clean and comfortable. The grounds were so green and impeccable.

I love d the resort I loved the staff very attentive I love the buffet I loved the Italian restaurant the pools that wasn't under construction were great and they had pool parties. Resort is right on the beach besutiful

The convenience of having everything close was exciting as to the pool the beach the food facilities. The concierge service with Jean and Cesar are first class as well as the in room cleanliness but the bathrooms around the pool area would need to be cleaned more often. The entertainment and the bar service was excellent. The thing I did not like was when they tried to push that time sharing or whatever you call it.when you get in the office everyone is nice they shake your hand and are being very friendly but after several attempts to sell you and you don’t buy it they get up and leave without even shaking your hand it was very disrespectful and the worst part is I was actually considering to buy it. All that said yes I would come back to Royalton but there is no way I would go to one of those time share meeting again.

I read many reviews and watched many videos before going to this hotel. I chose to pay extra for the diamond club for the room’s view (not the pool area or snack lounge). There are no elevators at this resort so you will be walking. The pool furniture is pretty outdated. The hot tub wasn’t so hot. The food offerings were pretty slim. I heard the same six (remixed) songs on repeat for days. If you don’t book the diamond club your room could be in a building that would require a bit of walking. I do think it was worth what we paid for, although I wish there were more healthier options. While I wouldn’t return back to this specific resort in the DR, I would try their sister location in Cancun. It’s also a 40min ride from the airport.

Facilities were absolute wonderful. Pool, room(includes the best couple shower ever!), restraunts, bars all look and operate to the best! Everyone were so kind and nice for us. Room with pool access - absolutly worth it.

Hotel service is first class. Staff were very attentive and always with a positive vibe. So mamy amazing food options. I Deffinitely recommend to make your reservations for restaurants uppon check in. The room i booked was the swim up bedroom right across the pool bar, perfect location. Bayahibe is the best beach i've seen in Dominican Republica.

Entertainment staff were very engaging. Overall, the staff were very friendly and efficient. Good variety of restaurants that were all bookable. The variety of the breakfast was good (great mimosas at Bloved). Swim up bar. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Good variety of entertainment (although it took some time to get going some nights). We could always find a sun lounger. Dance classes were intense but enjoyable. Quite pool areas to relax. We needed to check out late so the hotel booked us in to their shower room.

We enjoyed our 5- night stay at this hotel. Our duplex room with private pool had everything we wished for and even more ! The maid provided the necessary services. We spend time on the beach with white sand and turquoise water .. had diving and snorkelling tours .. had fine dining in the hotel’s restaurants . Minor inconvenience were loud evening shows. Although some guests enjoyed entertainment, we would prefer this activity would not be next to the private guest rooms.

Waitstaff and bartenders were all excellent. our butler was very helpful with all of our reservations and any needs. Swim up bar bartenders and food truck waitress by rooms were very excellent and LaTorres wait staff was excellent and very helpful.

Rodney was our Expedia butler and he was terrific! The resort was amazing, the people are amazing and the food was so very good. Put this trip on your list and make sure you get the Jr swimup suite.

We had a great time at TRS Turquesa. Our swimout suite was great, and our area was very quiet. We had a peaceful beachside massage one morning, and spent most of our days by our pool. The restaurants were all very good, and there was always a variety of food. A huge shout-out to Norielis (Noris), our butler; she was incredible! She managed all of our reservations for dinner and was so helpful with our requests. Our vacation would not have been the same without her!

I stayed at end suite at the castle with a private pool, the ocean view was spectacular and the room was excellent, great steak restaurant !

The property is beautiful and our swim up room was perfect. The staff were all wonderful, especially Emilio, our butler. The food choices were good but I was not happy with the taste. The beach was unusable due to the seaweed. The smell is bad but it’s the time of year it comes in and it’s all over. Overall, we had a relaxing stay but nightlife could be better.

I had an amazing time here with my friend! All of the staff was extremely helpful. Everyone was so kind and genuinely very happy to be there. It did not feel like work to the staff, they enjoyed making our trip very amazing. Felix, Yeremi, Emmanuel, John are just some names to name! Amazing place, lots of dining options and pool options! The beach is also right near the pool area! There’s music on the speakers for the pool area during the day and an amazing swim up bar. Even though there were a lot of people at the swim up bar, I never had to wait more than 2 mins for my beverages! When you are in the pool area there are a lot of staff members that come constantly to make sure you’re good and if you need anything! I did not pay for a single thing once I got on the property! I only tipped when necessary.

We had a wonderful trip at The Sanctuary. This was our third time being there. The service was wonderful. We had our own Butler, whose name was Emilio. He was extremely nice and extremely helpful. Anytime we needed anything I could message him on WhatsApp and he responded immediately. All of the staff is a pleasure. Everyone is friendly and warm. The pools are beautiful. The people who work at the pools are wonderful and very friendly. Felix was great. He and the other employees at the pool always made sure that we had our chaise lounge each morning and umbrella and towels and anything we needed. Mari is in charge of a lot of social events there. I took a dance class with her one day. She is lovely and a pleasure! There was terrific music entertainment. One night there was a saxophonist who was particularly amazing. The only thing that could be better at the sanctuary is the food.

There was excellent, good and bad. Ill start with the excellent The resort itself is very clean which is a huge plus. The seaweed was also delt with expertly. Good. The food was serviceable. We had the steakhouse twice which was good, the italian place twice it was the best resturant with the most options in my opinion, blue marlin once was for dinner was also good. The pizza place was the highlight! The room we were in was in the non updated section we also had friends in the vastle section and another couple in the updated section so i saw them all. Our room was large and clean. The shower had low pressure but there was always hot water. Pool areas were well kept up. Pool bar was nice and they were quick. Beach bar was nice. The biggest downsides forthis trip were 1. We were forgotten about at check in. We sat where we were told to for 45 mins prior to us going to ask what was going on. There was no welcome drink really it was a mess so not a great start. 2. I bought several bottles of wine in addtiin to the all inclusive. This process was quite slow. It was not streamlined at all and took sometimes upwards of 30 mins to figure out what to do where to go ect. In my opinion if soneone wants to spend additional money at an all inclusive resort it should happen quickly. 3. There were several days where there were no pool towels. Then we got the they will be here in 10mins.....it was more like 2 hours. Just be honest about the timing.

This was our first time staying at the Bahia Principe and everything was great! From the swim up pool in my room to the wonderful staff and excellent dining options I could not have been happier.

I was upgraded to a swim up room , very happy about it. The resort is beautiful with many activities. The food is good but could be excellent if the cook knows what how to cook and training the other people who work in the kitchen. The fishes and meat with no taste and dry.

The beach was just a short walk from our room beautiful beach and great staff. I would definitely go back. Me and my kids were there for a week. Also... get the swim up if you have kids!

I enjoyed ti have a private pool for my family. Also the different kind of activities every day for everyone.

Loved the Bahia Esmeralda! The swim up room was a hit with the kids. Tons of dining options through the Bahia resort area, make reservations in advance through the app. Steps to the beach! I found there were plenty of chairs and seating areas. Our favorite spot was the Atabey beach bar, Kelvin was an amazing bartender.

Boutique feel to the hotel - beautiful spaces and art, sunny courtyard for lounging and dinning, small but cozy rooftop pool with bar, tables and a couple of lounging spaces. ( they served Valentines dinner poolside with music the night we were there). It is a small hotel - you can look up from the open-air court yard and pretty much see all the rooms. Staff were all very accommodating. Very clean and well maintained. They front desk hooked us up with a driver who works for them ( Felix ) who was WONDERFUL.

Every member of the staff was accommodating, kind, and respectful. The rooms were unique and comfortable. Any (minor) complaint we had was quickly remedied. Great value for the price! We made the rooftop pool our second home for most of the week we were there. The coffee, the pizza next door, the room service. Even the common areas were a delight for hanging out. Everything was beyond our expectations!

Nice boutique hotel in a historic building in a great location. Staff was very friendly, place was clean, and breakfast was ok. There is an outdoor sitting area on the first floor and a rooftop pool and bar.

The layout of the hotel with its small waterfall, rooftop pool and garden, gives it a very private small boutique hotel feeling. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of choices to eat.

Breakfast had abundant choices if the breakfast option is chosen at purchase of room. Fresh and tasty. Location in a central area of the "Zona Colonial, Nice pool and rooftop dining.

Property is beautiful, staff is friendly, and drink are on point. Elite club swim-up rooms are AMAZING!!!I Food was okay, not a amazing... could use some improvement for those that know what true Dominican cuisine actually tastes like.

Overall the Rui Palace Bavaro is a beautiful property and location. Beach: The beach location was very well kept with plenty of chairs for visitors. Pools:There were plenty of pools and chairs, at any time of day. Elite Restaurant/Bar: The elite club locations throughout the resort were very clean and well maintained. Restaurants: The restaurants were okay. Downfall was the long lines to get in, even with a reservation (elite members could make reservations at all restaurants, but there was no line for elite members) Room Service: Room service offers a decent variety of foods and was very quick with the delivery. Swim Up Pool: The pool was somewhat small and only 3.5” deep. (Would definitely recommend you bring a blowup float if you select this type of room)

We recently stayed at Hotel Riu Palace Bavaro and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The property has been beautifully renovated – everything felt fresh, clean, and very well maintained. We chose to stay in the Elite Club section, and it made the trip even more special. Check-in was quick and seamless thanks to the Elite Club privileges. Our room was excellent – we stayed in a swim-out room, and it was peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxation with no crowds or rush. The Elite Club pools were equally impressive – upscale, beautifully kept, and surprisingly quiet, giving a very exclusive and laid-back vibe. The beach was another highlight – absolutely gorgeous with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the stunning ocean views. Restaurants were generally very good, with only a few minor misses here and there, but overall, I would rate the dining experience a solid 7–8/10. Plus, there were always plenty of drink options available everywhere, so no complaints at all in that department! A special shout-out to the Splash Water Park – it was so much fun! The rides were exciting, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to the trip, especially for families and adventure seekers. Overall, I would rate our experience a 10/10. Hotel Riu Palace Bavaro truly offers a fantastic all-inclusive experience, and we can't wait to return!

Paradisus is a great property and scenic views. Always stay in a Master suite or better if more than two people. Swim up rooms are also ideal. Good food and great service. The only thing I didn’t like is being bothered to see the MELIÁ presentations. I have been at 3 different Paradisus properties and they all do the same thing. I’m not interested in the presentations which I have done on two separate occasions. Again other than that it was a great property and a great stay. Will return and stay at Grand Cana swim up rooms.

First off, our concierge Christopher was the best. He took excellent care of us and our dinner reservations. Always made sure we were good. The hotel is very beautiful, but could use a few upgrades. Some of the bedroom doors have gaps in the wood. There’s only one hook in the bathroom area for your towels. There’s no shelves. The AC could be a little cooler. It won’t go below 69 degrees and that’s not cool enough in a hot and humid climate. We woke up damp in sweat both nights. The mini bar and snacks are nicely stocked, but the fridge isn’t cold. The beverages feel tap warm. The pools are all nice. Great service and super nice staff. Pedro and Greivin were great at the pool bars. They made sure we were always good and made great drinks. You have to go see them if you’re there. The beach is nice, but really hated all passersby trying to sell us something. Whether it was braids, massages, excursions, photo opps….we just wanted to relax and it made it a bit difficult. The water was also a bit murky. The restaurants were a hit or miss. Buffet was always cold and bland. Sante wad ok. Food wasn’t the best. The lava cake was not good. I didn’t like that one of the servers kept insisting we ask for drinks even after I told her repeatedly that we were good. Flora Cena was good. Andrea was the best server. Such a beautiful soul. Entertainment is lacking a bit. Need more fun activities. The Kicks bar could have some cards, board games, or jenga.

The property was beautiful and there were pools for everyone. Never been to a property with so many pools. Property has amazing dinner options and restaurants. However, I had a bathroom showered that flooded and was never repaired. Booked 2 rooms but was given rooms on opposite ends of the property. So my mother was alone on other side of property. Front desk staff did not work hard to correct this error.

We returned to Paradisus Palma Real in April 2025 after a great experience in 2023. Having stayed in many North American resorts, this review reflects a seasoned perspective. 1. The food remains excellent—diverse, high quality, and consistent with our last visit. I hope they maintain this standard. 2. The resort is exceptionally clean. 3. Staff are friendly and helpful across the board. 4. The beach is beautiful. We’re not sun-lovers, so the shaded huts near the water with comfy beds were perfect for relaxing while enjoying the sea breeze and view. It’s calmer than Aruba but still lively. 5. Restaurants are a highlight—the food, design, and ambiance are top-notch. The oceanfront breakfast buffet is especially memorable, both for the food and the stunning view. 6. Nightlife has improved since 2023, with better music and dancing. My wife loved it. Be sure to reserve restaurants in advance. 7. The pools are great—our child had a blast. 8. The kids’ club is excellent. Our child enjoyed it both times. 9. The spa is available, though we didn’t use it. That said, upselling spa services doesn’t work unless there’s a clear value. What makes it better or unique? We all get spa services in our countries. Why should we get it here with higher or same price? They also have photography service which i found to be very overpriced. Overall, this resort continues to impress and deliver a great family experience.

My wife and I stayed for 5 days. The hotel was next to the beach. Our room had a pool and ocean view. The staff was polite and very helpful. There are a couple of restaurants with different cuisine. The food was great and well arranged, especially for dinner. I would recommend the TRS Turquesa hotel to anyone who wants a nice vacation.

Staff was amazing. Room service was great. Pools were clean. Property didn't feel overcrowded, always felt like you have privacy, but could interact with other guests if you wanted.

Our butler Nelson took care of us from the beginning of our stay (getting us a corner swim out) to the end! Always making sure to get us the dinner reservations needed & any other special requests were taken care of without delay! He was awesome & a hard worker for us all! All of the staff were fun & friendly. Maria & Erica mainly were our poolside waitresses, always had a smile & never passed by without checking in on us. Thanks everyone for making our stay memorable.

We were in one of swim out rooms of the Diamond Club. Christian was our butler and Patricia that works in the Diamond club both made our experience great while we were there. They both deserve a 10 Plus. And the food at the buffets to the other restaurants were awesome too. I’ve mentioned this place to coworkers and will definitely come back to visit this place again in the future.

Royalton DR was a recommendation from another satisfied traveler we know. The resort was lovely, our swim out room was such a cool feature, the ocean & beach were gorgeous. But the people are what make the resort. From our Butler Noraya to bartender Santos (who has the moves!) to our waiter at Jade - Hector. The people are kind, patient, & work very hard to ensure you have a great experience.

The staff was very friendly and attentive…especially our butler Johnny! We were able to get into every restaurant at least once. Rooms were restocked with beverages and bottled water daily. The water park was a pleasant surprise as well…spent hours there. Rode every available slide (one slide down for maintenance). We had the DC swim-up suite.

Hand sanitizer is free and located throughout the property. Try to get a room overlooking the pool. The pool was clean and a welcome respite after a day at the beach. You can walk to a big supermarket OLÉ in about 10 minutes. The beach is just a 3 minute walk away. Mr. Thierry and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's a very cheap taxi or Uber ride to SDQ airport. I used Uber to go to Juan Dolio, Santo Domingo, and the airport. All easy, safe, and cheap. Recommended.

We had a really unpleasant experience at the previous hotel we stayed and when we came to casa coco we were surprised at how better it was. The owner was really nice and could speak English so it made it easier for me to talk to him and he went out of his way to help us with our luggage and get us settled in and when we were leaving he tried helping us get a taxi at a better price. The room was clean and tidy and I heard the rooms got renovated recently and it shows us here although the tv may need a upgrade since all the channels were in Spanish but i would just be nick picking at this point there were some things I wanted to tell the owner but I forgot to tell him which is my fault for not telling him sooner there’s also a pool and a breakfast only restaurant in the middle of the hotel that’s was close to our room. Although we only stayed for one day if we ever come back to boca chica we would definitely come back here I forgot to ask the owner’s name but thanks for everything.

This my favorite hotel in RD. It is small and is immaculate. The pool area, surrounded by flowering plant covered walls reminds me a a secret garden image from some children's novel. There are more flowering plants than chaise lounges. The staff here are constantly cleaning and pruning the plants. The owner, who I think is Swiss, cares as much about his hotel as he does about his guests. The restaurant only serves breakfast. The portions are good and the large slices of cantaloupe, mango and pineapple served with most of the menu selections have always been perfectly ripe in my experience. The rooms are very clean and as well maintained as the rest of the hotel. The furnishings are dated but spotless. the shower water pressure is great and the hot water is just that: HOT, not the tepid temperature many, more expensive hotels pass off. This is a great place to stay. The fact that it is also a great value is icing on the cake.

This Hotel it’s very small, but it is so comfortable and the staff members are so sweet and so nice. The pool is clean. It’s very affordable. I recommend this place 10 out of 10. I loved it.

This Place is Wonderful. Honestly the service was impeccable from check in to check out ! Family friendly resort with endless things to do. We did a clear boat tour and did snorkeling as well as saw dolphins! The beach is wonderful as well. The water park for kids is a plus. All dine in places had amazing dishes and cannot complain about anything. The grounds are kept very clean and you will never see anything dirty!! Family concierge upgrade is a MUST! The swim up suite was delightful and rooms are amazing! I could go on and on about this place. I will be returning

June 7th to June 14th 2025- 7 nights-Family of four with two daughters, graduate school age, so our first priority in picking a resort was spacious accommodations. Paradisus Grand Cana delivered on that priority. We booked a two-bedroom, two bath, family concierge, Master swim-up suite. Nearly 3,000 square feet. Gorgeous resort. In brand-new like condition. Pristine. The landscape is exquisitely manicured. Massive center pool, inner and outer rings swim-up pools, and a waterpark at close proximity. The result is that the place never felt overcrowded. The resort in not on the beach, but it was never a show-stopper for us. A fleet of golf carts transport guests to and from the beach. One needs to carry only themselves, and perhaps some sunscreen. Beach chairs, towels, restaurant, etc...await your arrival at the beach. I walked to the beach. About 13 to 15 minutes. You see, I've got to get my daily steps in. My iWatch insists upon it. There are several restaurants here. Our concierge, Thaina Decire, booked our diners and concierge inclusive excursions. We tried Karnica, Tori, Machu, and Rubi Rocks with mixed family reviews. We achieved a consensus with Origen and ended up sticking with it for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Origen is a spectacular buffet restaurant. There is something delicious to eat at Origen even for those with the most discerning palates. Superior service here. The family concierge is worth the dollar stretch. Thaina is an exceptional concierge.

Paradisus Grand Cana - resort was amazing, new and luxurious. The ground and the property was always kept clean. We stayed for a week and had a blast. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our swim up room was great - ample space, clean and comfortable. Patio and jacuzzi were excellent. Special shout out to - Yuberkis at buffet during dinner time. She always had a smile on and went above and beyond every time. We couldn’t get a reservation on the night we arrived for my birthday but she went above and beyond to make my night memorable. I can’t thank her enough. Also, two servers at the main pool. I think their names were Francisco and Leonardo. They were amazing, always on top of our orders, and always with big smiles 😊 on their face. Even though it was scorching hot some of the days. Staff there definitely made our stay much better. Only recommendation I can suggest - opening the restaurants earlier including the buffet. With small children and elderly - earlier dinner would have been better for us. Also, it was extremely hard to get reservations for the restaurants so we just stuck with the buffet. Only went to Tori 1 night for dinner. Only available times were 8:30 or 9:30 pm. That’s too late for us. Other than that no other issues. We had a blast. We will definitely be back!

This my 2nd time staying at Breathless since December. It was wonderful once again. XHALE Club swim out with Butler. Fish nets was a nice restaurant. I also walked over to Secrets. We have full access to Secrets Wild Orchid and Secrets St James. It is a wonderful property. Clean and peaceful. You will get lots of rest and relaxation

Breathless is an amazing place for younger couples and singles to enjoy, be laid back or turnt up. The entertainment staff, lifeguards and bartenders are all excellent. Corey, Jordan, Emely, Chevonne and so many other super amazing employees made our time so enjoyable. They taught us how to play Ludi and made sure we had everything we needed to have the best experience. There are tons of food options and almost everything is good. The environment is totally chill and laid back party vibes. Always something going on in lobby or by the pool, on the roof or at Secrets. The design of the outdoor space is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. The waterfalls and fountains make it a total luxury experience. Views from the rooftop area are INSANE! There are tons of lounge chairs and daybeds around the 3 pools and the lifeguards and entertainment staff are more then helpful with umbrellas as the sun moves throughout the day. Having access to Secrets also makes it fun, since their side is definitely more crowded you can enjoy their food beaches ect and then return to Breathless. They also accommodated us with an earlier check in due to our flight arrival time.

I had a wonderful Stay! It was my birthday and the staff accommodated me very well. The food was great. The pool was nice. The resort was not overcrowded and the access to secrets was great. I will definitely be back.

Amazing hotel. Service was excellent. 6 restaurants for dinner to choose from. The food was amazing. Every day there was a full schedule of activities you could get involved in. Swim out pool (hotel room option) was great.

Amazing service, top-notch food & location. The resort has lots of fun activities and free water sports equipment like paddleboards, kayaks, and sailboats. Evening shows are fun, especially the Queen tribute and the Michael Jackson show in the lobby. Cocktail bars are superb, and the staff is extremely friendly and fun! This is our second time returning to this resort, and both times we rented a beach facing swim out preferred club, which I'd definitely recommend!

The pools and beach areas were paradise! The infinity pool overlooking the ocean was our favorite spot to relax, and the beach was pristine with soft, white sand. The poolside service was impeccable, ensuring we always had a refreshing drink in hand.

I was there in off season, so I was the only guest and I had the pool to my own. The room was super cozy and comfortable, I had everything I needed. I liked Nikki’s attention to details everywhere around the property: starting with styling of the room and ending with beach stuff available for you (like umbrellas, beach fridge, etc). Breakfasts were simple but very delicious. There’s a kitchen outdoors with BBQ facilities. The whole property is behind the barrier and the territory felt very safe, there are also several parking spots at the property. Each room has its own internet router, and the quality was pretty good. At first I couldn’t find a way to the beach, so ask for directions in advance, but when I finally got there, I could see why people were saying about semi-private beach in reviews: not very big, quite clean, no restaurants or sunbeds (although might be because I was in off season there). Bella-the-dog was accompanying me to the beach and guarding me there all the time :) there are also three very cuddly kitties on the territory :) Overall I liked the place very much, Nikki is super nice and helpful, it felt like home. I will definitely recommend this place and stay there again if I’m back to the country.

My wife and I were looking for a small quiet little get away in the DR; we could not have asked for more! Nikki, the owner is kind and sweet and does her very best to accommodate her guests. Everything was impeccably clean; the mattress was very comfortable, quiet air conditioning and a relaxing environment. You'll find a nice little secluded beach a mere 2 minute walk from the pool. It is very safe and no one bothered us. It has no chairs for sitting down so bring towels if you want to laze around, but we thoroughly enjoyed its more abandoned or secluded feel. The complex is equipped with a gaz and charcoal bbq and each room has its own little fridge so you can store some food and drinks. Nikki has received certification for her water; I drank it, it tasted fresh and I wasn't sick, but if you'd rather bring your own water you can also do that. If you're looking for the all included high volume beach resort, this is not the place for you; however if you're looking for a nice quiet B&B experience down south and you enjoy making your own food or going out to restaurants then you'll be hard pressed to find a better place than Garden by the Sea. I thought this was last trip to RD, but after finding this little jewel I'm very tempted to book another trip soon.

It was great staying at Garden by the Sea. Its really close to the main town, airport, and beach. Also there is a private beach just a simple 3- 6 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk) It was my first time in Dominican Republic but the rooms are great, you have your privacy, the pool was well maintained, the breakfast in the morning. AMAZING. The staff was just wonderful! I stayed for 5 nights, and really enjoyed myself. Playa Sosua has some really great snorkeling areas and really cheap also. The owner also uses Solar panels for additional power, which I loved since it is a greener method. The Dominican Republic is prone to some power outages, and it actually happened to me at the airport also, but that's why I'm happy the owner uses Solar panels just for those occasions!

This accommodation is just what you need to enjoy Sosua and surrounding the best. Thanks to the lovely host Nikki who cares great for her guests and it feels like family. The rooms are very tidy and the furniture & fittings modern and beautiful. You really feel relaxed, the moment you are there. very beautiful Garden/ pool area and even the option to make BBQs. It is an oasis for spending holidays. If we travel back to Sosua for sure we will book Garden By the Sea again.

Armando and Houston were the best! They provided great butler service, answering all of our questions and making sure our stay was the best it could be. My husband and I did get a couple's massage during this trip and I must say that this was our only complaint. The massage was horrible. Massage lacked pressure although we booked a deep tissue Swim out suite was nice but we didn't utilize much due to the pool needed to be cleaned, skimmed of bugs and there was a lot of sand at the bottom of the pool.

The experience was amazing. The Butler service, Armando/Houston, was outstanding and met every request made. The first day I requested extra water and ice, I did not have to ask for that anymore. My ice was refilled without asking. They did a flower arrangement for my wife, which included heart-shaped flowers in the Jacuzzi tub with bubbles. We were pleased with all of the staff, and many were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Glady at breakfast and lunch. You want eggs cooked to order, look for her on the grill. LeBron (AKA the Goat), we debated that l said, Michael Jordan is the Goat, he was in many places and very funny. Samuel, the waiter this gentleman was truly amazing every morning at breakfast. He remembered to get my wife a mimosa and to have ice on my table, coffee, and light cream. I never had to remind him or ask him for anything. Mr. Smile, thank you for the Spanish lesson and the archery lesson. Ms. Dai, thank you for teaching me how to play the game of tossing the balls, the dancing lesson, and your Twerking. Mr. Fritz, I cannot forget you. Thank you for showing and explaining all of the amenities of the resort. Thank you for everything. We had the swim-out suite with personal butlers, Room 7034. They clean your room twice a day and refresh your towels. I have no complaints about this resort. I enjoyed everything about it. If you want a great cabana, look for number 45. It is surrounded by trees. So you get the shade and the breeze off the beach.

Picked a Swim Out w Butler. Everything nice until the morning when we found out we were next to the loading ramp, had to move due to unbearable noise. The app for texting the butler is worthless had to use wassap w them. Butler svc adds no value, you can do what they do for you, all they do is relay everything to others and do not get things done faster (1 buttler per floor). Now, the rooms were nice, facilities clean, quiet, no kids, no regueton. Shows were nice and staff was friendly. Food and drinks were good. I would recommend it for a peaceful retreat. 4 nights was enough. Must go to Coco Bongo in the Gold Members section (eat before)

Amazing grounds and breathtaking views. Rooms are just as beautiful as the landscaping, maintenance and housekeeping were a plenty keeping things clean and tidy. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, some a bit inexperienced. Requests for simple items took some time to receive or were forgotten. Nothing horrendous or superior just adequate service. Swim out room was very convenient and a pleasure to have especially on a on and off rainy day, but placement near the access road was a bit noisy. Always an activity to keep busy with during the day or evening, and overall well worth the cost for an all inclusive vacation.

My wife and I visited the JOIA Bavaro late May early June. The place was very nice and the food was some of the best we’ve ever eaten at an all- inclusive. Make sure you request Junior for your butler if you can. He is a very personable assistant and will see that your every need is met! He and his counterpart, Valentin arranged for a beautiful rose pedal evening celebration for my wife and I to celebrate our 46th anniversary. The entertainment team is a blast. Make sure you say hi to Jacinto wherever you find him, behind the pool bar or out on the grounds. The foam party is a great time, make sure you look for it at the pool on Fridays. Don’t miss the Gala event at the buffet on Thursday night, it is the best display of seafood, sushi and desserts you could imagine! The beach unfortunately had a lot of sargasso seaweed but the resort did all they could do to remove it. Bali bed game is real, so if you want your favorite location you will need to get up early to mark it. Overall, this is a great resort made much better by the people that work here. The beach is still amazing and outside of the sargasso season is one of the best in the world!

Beautiful resort. The resort is beautiful and quiet exactly what is needed when escaping long work weeks. We had a swim up suite which was perfect if we wanted the beach it was a short walk, if not we could just float in the pool outside our room. Staff were amazing.our concierge Amada was there to help even when wanting to plan a little surprise for my wife. While at the pool we were taken care of by Esther who was always smiling and making sure we were taken care of.Esther would bring us beverages just when we needed them and even assisted us at the lunch area. Staff at this resort is very friendly and helpful . This resort is for pure relaxation- no loud music or disorderly patrons.

The most fun and perfect vacation our family has ever had. The resort was beautiful, the service was unmatched, and the staff was incredible. Our concierge became like family to us during our stay- if anyone has worked with Jose Simeon, you will never be in better hands. He, and the rest of the staff were there for us with any request, any recommendation, and anything to make our stay more fun and relaxing. The wellness aspect of the resort is what resonated the most with the 5 of us- we brought our 3 teenagers with us, and they loved every second of it. the food was incredible, mixing various fare from around the world each night in beautiful restaurants. Our food servers and staff (Maria (manager), Millennia, Johanna, Elvis, and Manuel served with care and excellence, and always with a smile (and well placed jokes) that made us feel so comfortable and cared for. The villa we had was out of this world- and if a minor issue popped up, someone was there in minutes to take care of it. We will be returning to Zoetry properties around the world, and Zoetry Punta Cana will definitely be a return visit. This vacation brought our family together, and we will never forget all of the days on the beach in the ocean, in the pools (especially the swim-up bar), the many activities and fun adventures that were offered every day. We did not participate in the many excursions, as they were expensive, and honestly, we didn't need to leave the property with everything they offer. 5-star!!!

I traveled to Zoetry with 2 adults, 3 kids and 2 elderly adults. We stayed in their new 3 bedroom villa and it was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our concierge, Amada was available via whatsapp everyday to answer questions, make reservations or set anything up in our room. Frank, Jubie, Manuel, Sory and Oliver were stand out employees. Although there is not buffet option, the cooks are able to accommodate every food option you desire. It is a formal sit-down meals kinda place but this is all about the luxury and relaxed experience. Snacks are also available at the pool and room service is 24 hours. The only downside I found was that the pool is not accessible. So, if you're traveling with anyone who needs steps to enter the pool you will have a hard time. The spa is great and the jacuzzi and spa facilities are available to all guests. Fully stocked bar and snacks in the room every day and mosquito spray and toiletries are well stocked. I would definitely travel here again.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are perfectly sized, pools are lit up in a pretty blue color at night, and the daily activities they provided were perfect!There was a live musician playing around the main pool and other days they had performances at night in the main lobby. My favorite was probably the Circus night. That was SO COOL OMG! Our main concierge was Wiris Guzman - if you can request a specific person, PICK HIM!!! He's seriously the best!! Anything we needed, even if it wasn't at the resort, he went and got it for us. Such a sweet guy! Also the bartender Jimmy is THE MAN! He took the time out of his day to help me and my husband learn and speak the language. He also makes a tasty Rum cocktail (yummm), coming from a former bartender -- he knows his stuff for sure!!! Juan Carlos was another one of our servers/concierge who was so awesome, and can't forget Robinson who provided the Wine Tasting for us one night! He was really nice to meet too! Knew his stuff, very interesting! Housekeeping was fantastic as well! They kept our mini fridge STACKED! Love them all!

We had a great time staying at the Hideaway at Royalton. The service was very good. The atmosphere in the Hideaway section was wonderful. The swim up room was great. The Resort had many nice restaurants, bars, shops, and other activities to enjoy. A very good vacation get away. The massage and hydrotherapy at the spa was very good.

Loved the Diamond Club, staff and service great. Wish I had gotten the swim up rooms, they seemed fun. Wouldn't recommend the honeymoon suite, Jacuzzi had to be filled by butler. Only used it once, also the balcony of the honeymoon suite overlooked the back of a restaurant and dumpster area. Restaurants were decent, although portions were very small in some cases. W

My wife and I stayed there for five days in November and absolutely loved it. We have been to many all inclusive resorts, but this was definitely was a step above. We had a swim up room with the butler, and everything was top notch. Our Butler Manuel was very responsive to any of our needs. Each night we had dinner at a different restaurant, and the food was excellent every time. My wife and I had two negatives. Mine was the seaweed on the beach. I have been to other resorts where they use a machine to clean the beach every night. In addition, they advertise them selves as an adult only resort, but that really wasn’t true. They did have a section that was adults only but all the restaurants allowed children there and sometimes they acted accordingly . One pool was adults only but the other two pools had children. Overall, it was an excellent resort, and would definitely recommend to other people

My husband and I had a great vacation at the Hideaway celebrating our anniversary/delayed honeymoon. We stayed in a room with a swim-out pool area which provided more privacy than expected. We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment/amenities at the resort, to include the spa (particularly the hydrotherapy which was included with our massages), gym, and theatre (shows and karaoke were fun/entertaining). We were excited about the casino but were ultimately disappointed with the low energy and the dealers didn’t always seem happy to be there. Our primary critique is that most of the food and restaurant service were below average, however we made up for this with delicious and plentiful drinks. A butler, Manuel, was included with our stay and provided a thorough overview of the resort/accommodations. He also helped us with dinner reservations, towels, booze, etc. The hotel has a desk/staff onsite to help with planning excursions which we took advantage of to book a visit to Evolution Adventure Park, which was our favorite part of the trip (dune buggies, cave, cenote, monkeys). For our first all inclusive experience, we were overall very happy with our choice.

Loved our stay at The Tamarind. We had a huge room off the adult spa pool with a patio and view of gardens and ocean. Incredibly comfortable bed and kept very clean with beach towels left in the room daily. Food was superb, could possibly do with more vegetarian options. Buffet some nights and themed a la carte. All the staff were hard working and friendly. Liked the pool ambassador getting drinks occasionally and handing out ice lollies in the afternoon. We enjoyed the free water sports and the water taxi to other hotels in the group was a real bonus- we went to Waves for lunch one day. Very different hotel and we preferred the Mediterranean style of the Tamarind and the fact it was spread out along a couple of beaches giving a spacious feel. Sea was really warm and we saw loads of fish just off the beach when snorkelling. I know the hotel is due to be refurbished but nothing detracted from our stay. Would definitely return.

We spent a week at Tamarind with 3 generations of our family. The rooms are well appointed, clean and spacious. The facilities cover all you could want from a Caribbean all inclusive hotel - 3 great pools, beach front access, 2 places to eat, bars that have an extensive drink menu but will make you off-menu drinks too, fabulous watersports. The food is diverse and tasty and there is a kids menu available for any picky eaters. The dine around and water taxi options make it easy to add a little variety to the holiday without needing to spend any money beyond the all inclusive price. But what really makes this hotel special is the staff - Deon and her amazing milkshakes, Ether at breakfast, Amanda in the pool bar at lunch and David on the watersports boat - they really do go the extra mile to ensure their guests have a memorable holiday.

we had a wonderful time, wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were amazing, so very helpful. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The pools were very clean and plenty of chairs around the pool area to sit. The food was very good and the drinks were great. We ate at Positano to celebrate our daughters birthday and it was amazing. Ordering a cake for the dinner was easy and delicious as well. All in all we had an amazing time and would go back again.

Loved the property, it was a lot bigger than I expected. Make sure if you visit you see all 3 pools as they are located in different areas of the hotel. Our room was nice and spacious, my only concern was where the air conditioner was placed in the room as this became bothersome while laying on the bed. The staff was particularly great, Anthony the bellman was personable and brought us complimentary rum punch on arrival. We also had the pleasure of dealing with Ether, who had a great personality as well. The variety of breakfast foods was great it included fresh fruit, omelets made to order and either pancakes or waffles just to mention a few items. Destini who checked us in was great too, she gave us local suggestions on where to eat. In regards to the watersports, I wasn't too clear on what was included with the room rental. We did use the water shuttle that travels in between the properties twice, it was a beautiful boat ride. We did notice the staff giving out complimentary fresh fruit by the poolside. In regards to the beach at the hotel, the water was beautiful however the ocean is rocky we did not see any seaweed while we were there. I did take a morning walk on the beach which was nice, many locals walk the beach in the morning I noticed. There are a convenience store and gas station directly across the street. The bus runs right in front of the hotel. I would return to the Tamarind Hotel in the future.

This place is amazing! We loved our swim up suite and the short walk to the piano bar and beach! The piano bar/swim up bar is where it’s at! Always a DJ playing great music and the bar tenders are so nice! Leroy was my favorite bar tender, he’s funny, personable and makes amazing drinks! Crazy Chris from the entertainment team was awesome! His pool games were so much fun! If you go please ask for Leroy and Chris, they make our whole trip!!

this is the best sandals by far, it has such a mixture of younger and older crowds and everyone made us feel so welcome especially akeem in entertainment he greeted us right away we played volleyball, pool, and had amazing talks. crazy chris in entertainment made us laugh with his awesome dance moves and great personality. dane at the piano/swimup bar was by far the best bartender and danced talked and truly acknowledged us. every single employee here goes above and beyond i definitely recommend!!

I had previously stayed at two other Sandals so I knew what to expect but this location was even better than I expected. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the resort is very beautiful. It was very close to the airport but I didn't mind the planes flying over at all and didnt really even notice them after the first two days. The private beach was perfect and when we weren't on the beach, we were at the swim up bar, which stays open until about 2 am. Loved this resort and would definitely reccommend!

Beautiful resort. Beaches amazing - calm and warm ocean. Amazing service - every staff member from housekeeping, bar and restaurant had a smile and went the extra mile. Restaurants to recommend included, Soy (went twice) Butch’s and Tokyo Joes - plus the Jerk Shack always great for lunch. Shout out to our Butlers Mykal and Chyria, they set us up on the beach, sorted out requests and restaurant choices Top shelf liquors and superb cocktail service. Recommended for a relaxing couples break. Tip - get one of the swim up rooms if you like to swim in the morning in the pool or want some quieter pool time as the swim up pool is fun but quite small and gets lively.

Perfect 4 nights on our favorite quick getaway island! The staff were amazing… especially Rosanna our housekeeper in the Highgrove building, Syovania at the French Restaurant, Marlon our island cabana butler, and Tadean the Club Sandals manager. We had a swim-up room in Highgrove and it was beautiful. Pool was clean and warm! From check-in to check-out, the drinks were delish and food was, too. Favorite meals were La Tavola and the French restaurant. Entertainment staff were very talented. There is some construction going on but for the most part it didn’t impact us at all. We were a little disappointed the island pool was closed when we booked our private cabana for the day but the Club team made sure to take care of us. We will be back!

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary last week at Sandals Royal Caribbean. The experience was extraordinary. Loved our Swim Up Butler Suite and were spoiled by Jermaine and Candice who served as our butlers. They constantly went out of their way to make sure that our stay was grand. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at both the pools and beach. Our favorite meal for breakfast was the buffet at Spices, Themed lunches there were good too as was the pizza place and the grill. Dinner at Butches and Tokyo Joes at Montego Bay as well as the Sunday Brunch over there were also big hits. Can’t recommend Sandals enough!

We had an enjoyable 8 days at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay Jamaica. We loved our HSUP room. This was our 6th Sandals stay but first time in a swimup room. We would definitely book this room and room category again. We appreciated our Room Attendant, Roseann, as she took great pride and attention to cleaning our room. She took quick note that we used our coffee pot, creamer and “yellow” sugar packets and made sure we had plenty of those every day. Shawn from Club Sandals did a fantastic job with our room orientation (we’ve been to a few resorts where they did little more than take us to the room). We needed two things ..robes and distilled water..and Shawn followed through to ensure the items were received. The entertainment was wonderful highlighted by Rosie the violinist, DJ Smooth, Oral the saxophonist, and we especially enjoyed “Happy Feet” Malik. He is a talented and special young man. The food was delicious through out our stay with only one entree not so good. My fish and chips was a bunch of gooey batter. However, Tameka and Rohan at Cricketeers were great! Other excellent servers were Jessica at The Mariner and La Jardinier, and Nataki at Bombay. My husbands favorite was Glennroy who expertly made his omelette to order every day with fun and a smile! We ate breakfast at Spices everyday and I enjoyed seeing Lamar’s cheerful smile and pleasant good morning. We had a relaxing, peaceful and wonderful vacation!

My husband and I just arrived home from our anniversary trip to Royal Caribbean. We had a prefect stay! Our room was in the new Balmoral building, we had a beachfront walkout with private pool. It was perfect. It was windy a few days and we could hang out on our patio where we were shielded from the wind and still had a direct view of the ocean. Our butler team was Jerome and Sherry-Ann. They took great care of us. Jerome would surprise us with a new cocktail when getting us for dinner and brought us evening snacks. They made sure we had beach chairs and a stocked cooler each day. They handled our dinner reservations too. The only negative was I felt no one looked at our butler preferences that we submitted prior to arriving. Not a big deal though. The resort is close to the airport so a short transfer but also means you see/hear planes throughout the day. It did not bother us. We thought the food was good. We ate at Spices, Royal Thai, Le Jardiner, La Tavaola, and Jerk Shack. The Jerk Shack was amazing! Overall it was the perfect relaxing trip we envisioned! I would not hesitate to go here again. All the staff is super friendly and helpful.

This was our first Sandals trip and it did not disappoint. The short drive from the airport to resort was perfect and put us at the pool by 3p after checking in which was seamless. We had a butler suite in the Clarence building. Butlers Kavoy and Chad are the best. So kind, funny and always eager to help. Loved they had our chairs and coolers set up wherever we wanted to be that day. The little things like having the tub filled in late afternoon after returning from pool or beach, the surprise lunches or snacks at the pool or beach was so appreciated, made our dinner reservations too. We really didn’t have to think about anything. All the restaurants had really good food. We didn’t try the Indian food. The resort is very walkable. Short walk to wherever we were headed. Not many stairs and had elevators. Housekeeping was excellent. The grounds are beautiful. Entertainment was good every night and ended by 10-10:30. We could not hear it in our room. We booked again for next year!

Great people and great service. I'm glad we did the preferred club because there was no limit to what we could do. We loved the private pool we had. Orlando was a great host and kept us in the loop about everything going on throughout the day. I wish they had sports channels on the tv in the room.

This Place is Wonderful. Honestly the service was impeccable from check in to check out ! Family friendly resort with endless things to do. We did a clear boat tour and did snorkeling as well as saw dolphins! The beach is wonderful as well. The water park for kids is a plus. All dine in places had amazing dishes and cannot complain about anything. The grounds are kept very clean and you will never see anything dirty!! Family concierge upgrade is a MUST! The swim up suite was delightful and rooms are amazing! I could go on and on about this place. I will be returning

June 7th to June 14th 2025- 7 nights-Family of four with two daughters, graduate school age, so our first priority in picking a resort was spacious accommodations. Paradisus Grand Cana delivered on that priority. We booked a two-bedroom, two bath, family concierge, Master swim-up suite. Nearly 3,000 square feet. Gorgeous resort. In brand-new like condition. Pristine. The landscape is exquisitely manicured. Massive center pool, inner and outer rings swim-up pools, and a waterpark at close proximity. The result is that the place never felt overcrowded. The resort in not on the beach, but it was never a show-stopper for us. A fleet of golf carts transport guests to and from the beach. One needs to carry only themselves, and perhaps some sunscreen. Beach chairs, towels, restaurant, etc...await your arrival at the beach. I walked to the beach. About 13 to 15 minutes. You see, I've got to get my daily steps in. My iWatch insists upon it. There are several restaurants here. Our concierge, Thaina Decire, booked our diners and concierge inclusive excursions. We tried Karnica, Tori, Machu, and Rubi Rocks with mixed family reviews. We achieved a consensus with Origen and ended up sticking with it for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Origen is a spectacular buffet restaurant. There is something delicious to eat at Origen even for those with the most discerning palates. Superior service here. The family concierge is worth the dollar stretch. Thaina is an exceptional concierge.

Paradisus Grand Cana - resort was amazing, new and luxurious. The ground and the property was always kept clean. We stayed for a week and had a blast. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our swim up room was great - ample space, clean and comfortable. Patio and jacuzzi were excellent. Special shout out to - Yuberkis at buffet during dinner time. She always had a smile on and went above and beyond every time. We couldn’t get a reservation on the night we arrived for my birthday but she went above and beyond to make my night memorable. I can’t thank her enough. Also, two servers at the main pool. I think their names were Francisco and Leonardo. They were amazing, always on top of our orders, and always with big smiles 😊 on their face. Even though it was scorching hot some of the days. Staff there definitely made our stay much better. Only recommendation I can suggest - opening the restaurants earlier including the buffet. With small children and elderly - earlier dinner would have been better for us. Also, it was extremely hard to get reservations for the restaurants so we just stuck with the buffet. Only went to Tori 1 night for dinner. Only available times were 8:30 or 9:30 pm. That’s too late for us. Other than that no other issues. We had a blast. We will definitely be back!

Overall it was a nice place to stay. Child friendly. Most of the staff was great. Food could be better but could have been worse so basic. Walls and doors are not well insulated so you unfortunately could hear all the people in the halls. Usually quiet after 10pm but like anywhere ypu have a few rude people. The beach is a 3min golf cart away or a 10/15 min walk. Beach was nice and clean. Water park was good for our needs except the baby section sprinklers didn't work so that was disappointing but baby still had a blast. The crib we had requested was there upon arrival. This was a great experience for our family of 4 which included a 1yr old. We also had a swim out room which was fantastic and another reason we chose this resort. We would go to another Melia resort.

This is the island jewel in the crown of the Bahia Principe empire of resorts. Newly refurbished, it is the wonderful opposite of the Punta Cana drinkfests in its solitude, quiet, dignity, beauty, and healthy dining. The staff are superbly trained: unfailingly courteous, attentive, and capable. The chefs know their stuff. The grounds and rooms are kept clean and gorgeous. The gym is small but wonderfully equipped. The pools are splendid and the seating more than ample—the same goes for the beach. In fact, one might want a little less oomph from the beachside DJ and some of the nighttime restaurant musicians, as the vibe of the resort is of calm joy, not amped-up happy-happy. In general, though, quiet and considerate hospitality is constant every moment of every day. Specially chosen little gifts left in the room, a lunchbox for early departers (we flew in and out of Punta Cana, so we needed provisions for the 5-hour car ride), and a dozen other kindnesses seasoned an already exquisite experience. If you want what the website promises, Cayo Levantado Resort delivers—and how. We'll be back. For sure.

We stayed in early March for 6 days and loved every day. Frankly, everything was great. We didn't get to try the spa or excursions because we had a 15mo old baby with us, which takes a lot of time, but just the pools and the beach were wonderful. The food was amazing. Each restaurant had fantastic food. Even the breakfast buffet was phenomenal. For drawbacks, getting to the property is a major drag. It's a 3hr ride by car from Santo Domingo. Not much they can do about that, I guess. What they can improve on are two things: quality of coffee (didn't enjoy that at all) and the staff needs to get a bit better on their English. Some are better than others, but most of the time, communication was challenging. You can also communicate with your "ambassador" via WhatsApp and even that was not all smooth sailing, so yeah, staff's English needs to improve. But don't let this hold you back, even with what it is now, it's been a wonderful stay.

We absolutely loved everything about the place. It’s well designed and managed, quiet, beautiful, with excellent food and very attentive and caring personnel. We booked two rooms which were very spacious and comfortable. The resort facilities provide opportunities for various activities, are well equipped and run. The gym is great. There are several large pools and they were never crowded. The beach is very beautiful. Many thanks to the staff of the hotel who made this stay so enjoyable and pleasant. Overall - a great experience.

We stayed in the charming Villa 1 that was close to the hotel’s amenities and were well taken care of by the staff there. Having our private pool was great! From Check in to Check out you are given 1st class treatment. Meals were amazing. Chefs Martin and Marvin are outstanding Chef’s and catered to our needs. A truly memorable experience for our family! This was our 1st visit as a family and my husband and I third time. Round Hill never disappoints!

The upgrade to Villa no 12, left us speechless , the views were breadthtaking as was the villa itself , our own private pool was such an added bonus but that's not all breakfast every morning was fabulous which is prepared by two wonderful girls at the villa . The staff go out of their way to please , everyone is friendly truly felt like a home away from home ! Were we in any other room we would have been happy too as the hotel itself just oozes charm and elegance , but yes , our next visit would be a villa , thank you all at Round Hill !

If you don’t like all inclusive factory-like hotels, Round Hill hotel is perfect for you! We stayed at an ocean view villa with a private pool and had a cook, a cleaning lady, a serving lady and a gardener working for us 24/7. We had breakfast in our living room with ocean view every day and went to restaurants for dinners. It was a true paradise experience!

If you are looking for a drunken spring break party with bad food and cheap liquor than this is not the place for you to stay. But if you are looking for a spectacular resort that frequently hosts royalty, presidents, and A list celebrities than welcome home. The photos on Expedia do not do this resort justice. From the moment you drive through the guarded entrance to this meticulously manicured plantation you realize you have arrived to a true luxury paradise. The resort consists of 27 privately owned villas (more like mansions) that are situated on the hillside overlooking a private bay. Each villa has their own staff that will attend to your every need while there. Whether it is making you fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning or preparing a gourmet private dinner they will truly insure that you are spoiled while there. Each villa has its own private pool and secluded lounge area making it possible to never leave your own private resort. But the real beauty of Round hill is appreciated once you head down to the main grounds that are sprawled across a former 100 acre plantation. Whether it is relaxing with a cocktail on the private beaches or strolling through the jungle trails Round Hill has every amenity that you could possibly want. The staff throughout the resort is attentive and polite. They will make each guest feel like family whether it is your first visit or you are a villa owner.

- incredibly beautiful grounds and cottage with several outdoor seating areas, beautifully decorated, private pool etc - very courteous and helpful staff - nice beach area and beach bars - would be good to not have cleaning staff arriving and hanging out until afternoon. Lose privacy and quiet when several workstaff are around the room and then cleaning room while we are there - Hotel should disclose that breakfast is for charge, ask you to order etc but only later do out discover the steep fees - main restaurant is exorbitant but mediocre. Minimum $40 for entree plus a side then fees and expenses comes to $50. Maybe I would pay that at a Michelin star restaurant but this food was bland, cold and not special at all. More dining options would really help improve the resort especially given the limited dining options nearby and difficulty of getting a normal cab (hotel arranged taxis also exorbitant) - gym and exercise classes are fantastic. Donovan a great instructor and a high point of the resort. Jackie very friendly and helpful.

This is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. If you are looking for something different, remote and relaxing, Finca Victoria is a great choice. You really feel like you are staying in a treehouse, especially with the sounds of the frogs and the cool breeze at night. From the top of the hill, there is very little light pollution - making it a great spot for stargazing. Also, the freshwater pool was one of the nicest I have ever swam in -very refreshing after a day in the salty Carribbean. FYI - Coffee and breakfast are provided, but if you want milk or any other dairy, you must bring it yourself. The rooms have refirgerators, so it will keep. They also provide plates and silverware, beach towels and a small soft cooler. Anyway - highly recommend this spot. It is very clean, unique and relaxing.

Finca Victoria is a GORGEOUS property and the pictures accurately reflect what you’ll receive. The room was cozy, had a beach kit and necessary basics in the kitchenette. The outdoor shower was kind of surreal and loved every second of it! The check in process was a little clunky. He (not the manager but some other worker not listed on the website) put us in the wrong room, then offered a glass of cava on the house as a sorry and then disappeared.. Wasn’t a huge deal but a little distasteful. Breakfast was delicious, but was late every day. It lists from 9:30-11am but did not ever come out before 10am. In my opinion, 9:30am is already really late for breakfast, and the delay didn’t sit well with any of the guests sitting at the table. I understand it’s a wellness center but when you’re trying to maximize every part of your day, any delay is inconvenient. However the checkout process was great. We checked out but were allowed to store our luggage’s, we were offered a beach kit and we were allowed to shower in the communal showers until we had to leave. Overall, I’d give the location 10/10 but the service and hospitality 8/10. Would certainly recommend and stay again!

I have never met nicer people in my entire life on site. Huge yogi feel, very calm, very nice, extremely unique setting. I have never stayed somewhere so unique in my life. Everything was reusable, resourceful, clean, and environment friendly. My room was adorable!! Super small and quaint, but just right. The food was delicious (I’m not vegan so for me to say this surprised me)! Very attentive and would do whatever they could to accommodate you. I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about this place. Maybe that if a couple wanted to get naughty, they’d have to close the door with the view or draw the blinds because the house across from me could definitely see directly into the bedroom (haha) would get one heck of a view! Good thing I was just with a friend.

Wow! I've been dying to stay here and it did not disappoint. The property itself is beautiful and so well maintained. Feels lush, unique, and bohemian. Like a magical little retreat in the jungle. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious and fully vegan -- the perfect light meal before starting our beach day. The bed was comfortable and the view of the jungle from our room was so dreamy. Plus, the outdoor shower was heavenly. We also traveled with our dog and they had a little bed and food bowls waiting for him. Would definitely stay here again. Also, we rented a golf cart during our stay. Highly recommend you rent some sort of transportation, whether its that or a car.

Absolutely stunning. This wonderful hotel is more like a retreat. The rooms are incredible and extremely unique. Mine had so many ameneties that made it so easy to unwind and relax. They had complimentary coffee, tea, and water at all times. They also offer complimentary yoga every morning to all guests before serving breakfast. I have never felt so relaxed in my life. The staff were incredible and the scenery and ambiance alone is to die for. The food they offer is absolutely delicious also! 10/10 will be back for a very long stay soon! So happy i stumbled upon such an amazing hidden gem.

Far exceeded our expectations! Beautiful resort with super friendly staff. Our butler Nathanael M was incredible. He was always available and filled all our requests quickly and with a smile. The food was good. My kids enjoyed the swim up bars for non-alcoholic drinks.

The staff in every department of this resort were amazing. They make the place 5 star. It is an impeccably beautiful and clean place. The pools and swim up bars are the best i have seen. The girls in the spa Laedy and all of the women working in the spa i would give them ten stars if i could! Service is amazing all around.

Fray the check in receptionist was on point, my wife and myself arrived early at the Resort and the room that we paid for was a deluxe room and it was not ready I mentioned to Fray that it was my wife birthday he upgraded us to preferred Status and gave us a swim up room at no additional cost and that category room comes with a butler that provides service for every aspect of your needs at the resort. Our butler was Will he did a great job for us he set up a special dinner for my wife birthday at one of the specialty restaurants and they provided a delicious birthday cake and sing happy birthday to my wife.Will helped us with every aspect of our stay at the resort every time I called on him he responded and what ever the request was he made it happen . We ate at the buffet most of the time the food was good however more Variety of seafood would be nice thanks for a great vacation

We really enjoyed Dreams Flora Punta Cana. The property is clean and well maintained. The beach is lovely. I would give 5 stars, but the food was meh. The staff is great and are constantly trying to do things for you. We had an ocean view room in preferred. The butler was very attentive. He made dinner reservations and since it was both my birthday and our anniversary planned little surprises for us staying in contact through WhatsApp. There are lots of pools throughout the property with one main one near the beach that has lots of music and activities. The others were quiet. The nightly entertainment was also meh. Some days you had to be out there early to get a lounge on the beach, and other days not. I’m an early person, always got a lounge. Lounges opened up by mid day anyway. Near the pools there were plenty of lounges always available. There were 2 weddings while we were there and the nice grill restaurant is closed when there is a wedding. We were there Memorial Day week.

We loved everything about our week at RIU Palace Macao. We did the Elite Club and would definitely recommend it. The swim-up suite was everything! The only complaint was that the Elite Club room service food menu was NOT good compared to literally everything else; all the other food on the property was mostly excellent. The restaurants were great. Kabuki was our least favorite out of all of them, but it was still delicious! It’s a lot of small bites so go ahead and order everything haha. We look forward to checking out all the rest of the RIU properties in other countries!

I recently stayed at Riu Macao Adults Only and really enjoyed the experience. It’s a great small resort with a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were nice and comfortable, though a little damp at times. There are three pools—while the swim-up pool was a bit murky (likely from suntan lotion and oils), more frequent cleaning would improve it. The buffet food was excellent, and the service really stood out thanks to a few wonderful staff members: Felix in the pool area was very attentive, Polanco went above and beyond during meals and even arranged a special birthday dinner for my friend, and Jean Carlos was incredibly sweet. My only suggestion would be to have at least one bar with top-shelf liquor, but overall, it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it.

I purchased an Elite room thru Expedia but was checked into an inferior room which costs much less with no explanation from the staff. Only when I was taken to the assigned room did I discover that fact. I went to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager, Ceseare who agreed to provide the correct room the following day which he did. He also agreed to process a refund to Expedia for the night stayed. That has not happened yet after two weeks. I emailed the hotel but have not received a response yet. The service at the resort was very good and my wife and I really enjoyed the Elite dining experiences at three of the restaurants. The swim pool was beautiful and my wife loved it. Since they had other pools I didn’t think it was necessary to have the small pool at an extra $150/night. But it made her happy. Lots of drinks and food and top shelf liquor in our room. Love the hotel. I just want the refund promised.

Absolutely loved this place !! We had a great room on the corner of the hotel, overlooking the gardens, pools and with a sea view, couldn’t ask for better views really. It was our wedding Anniversary while we were there and we were left a nice canvas picture and a lovely message from the hotel management ( nice touch)…Food was great…. Buffet was good and other restaurants were excellent…. Our favourites being Crystals and the steak house. Staff were great, especially at the pool bar. Room cleaned daily. Lovely beach and ocean… lots of drinks to be had. Even wandered to the other Riu hotels and had a few drinks. Plenty of activities to do in the day time if you want to…. However…. We found the evening entertainment not too good. I had a little accident on the day we were leaving, where I stupidly put our case on the glass topped coffee table in our room…. We told them at reception when we were checking out and they were fine…. We did pay for the damage $70. We would recommend this hotel to anyone… so much so that we have already booked to go back next year…. But this time for 14days instead of 10.

Riu Macao was a good chill experience, liked that we had access to the parties when we wanted to turn up. The buffet had good food, the theme restaurants I tried were fine, but I wish their menus were either more extensive or changed daily. The poolside entertainment was great, but I was surprised that the pool water was hot.

The property was conveniently located not far from Sangster International Airport. The junior ocean suite was really nice and the property had pools and hot tubs everywhere there were also restaurants and room service. Staff was very friendly and kind can’t beat it for all inclusive

This was my second time staying at Sandals Royal Barbados, and it was just as amazing. My friends and I had a wonderful experience, the resort itself is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. We stayed in the butler category rooms with swim-up pools, which added the perfect touch of luxury to our trip. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a visit.

My wife and I were there celebrating our 27th Anniversary and we had an amazing time. Our suite was beautiful (swim up), very spacious and comfortable. It included butler service (Melissa, Rachel and Aquila), and they were fantastic. We were waited on hand and foot and did not have to want for anything no matter where we were on the resort. The restaurants we chose to have meals were great (you definitely have to try Bombay and Soy). I could go on and on about our stay there. Our only disappointment was, because of all the seaweed, we could not enjoy the beach.

We are currently at Sandals Royal and it’s gorgeous walking around on a night the smell of the beautiful gardens is heavenly. This is our first visit to a sandals resort and it won’t be our last, we have a swim up room and the guys keep the area immaculate. The food is lovely although a little slow sometimes and a couple of the restaurants have been closed, ( the monkey pub due to loosing the A/C) I’d advise booking early for the restaurants you fancy like well in advance as they get booked up very quickly. Most of the staff have been super friendly and couple of grumpy bar tenders but no one can be happy all the time right ? My only complaint is we are here to celebrate our 20 anniversary and we didn’t get any acknowledgement for it no happy anniversary on the bed ect despite booking the romantic package of a spa day and meal on the beach, I did however get a beautiful ruby and diamond upgrade engagement ring from the on site shop at a great price . The entertainment is lacking here but that suits us both really we like to just chill. We have met a few couples who had done lots of sandals resorts and all claim this is the worst one they have stayed at, one couple asked to upgrade to a swim up room x3 and 6 days later still no response 🤷‍♀️ However our stay has been wonderful and we shall deff do another. Sad to be leaving tomorrow Thanks sandals 😊

Just come back from this fantastic resort. It’s two resorts in one which gives you the double the fun with the amount of pools and restaurants. I unfortunately broke my ankle 3 weeks before we arrived, and the staff could not be more helpful and welcoming. Our butlers Shaquille, Latoya and Mya really couldn’t do any more. We had a Rondoval room which was fantastic and the management had made Ramps for me to get in and out with a wheel chair. Thanks to Jon Patrick (resort manger) and Bruno (general manger) for your kind hospitality. Nikita in loyalty and travel is fantastic too. You may need orientation if you haven’t been here before as both Barbados and Royal Barbados mingle in to one. Booking Butches chop house is a must and there is another butches in Barbados as well. The roof top pool is great for views and the Parisienne restaurant up there is great too. Best breakfast is in Green house by the quiet oasis pool. There are several pools from quiet,swim up bar and noisy, so take your pick. Definitely our fav resort, and we will be going back. Thanks to all the staff for a fantastic holiday.

I have to be honest our stay was good, Service was excellent, food was better than great. Miguel José is an excellent employee., treated us well and was very sweet. We were given a room which was also great. BUT treatment at checkin was very impersonal. We were told that we could use all facilites except Enclave. But was not told that the Pool which was accessible from the balcony of our room was prohibited for us. And on our second day at the hotel we were removed from the Pool in very, very unpleasant way by a person named Teodoro. We are humanas and make mistakes… (I guess he has not been told that) We entered the Pool through our room and told him so. We used the Pool on the first day. We never saw the signs. We usually book our stays in preferred clubs, but since this was a short stay we did not even notice you had this option available. I feel it was because my husband is Dominican and I Puerto Rican we were treated like bandits or people without money. We are good people and are very well off. We vacation in your country 3 to 4 times a year and always stay at good hotels. Had it not been for this incident our stay would have been 5 out of 5. My husband wants to return but I have serious doubts. We are planning family trip for my 75th birthday next year. My daughter’s loved the Pictures we sent about the food and facilites. I will let them know when we return Home.

Very impressed by this resort. The beach was better than expected, the pictures online do no justice. The grounds are super clean. The food was great we loved the selection. And the Cinolas beach restaurant was so romantic great food. The pools are stunning. This is a great resort to relax. Only downside would be lack of pool side entertainment, no music playing and not much activities for young adults but I would absolutely come back!

Best vacation ever! The beach and pool were so beautiful, everyone was so nice, the food was really good and so many options, the entertainment staff were great. There was always something to do when you wanted it, but it was also so nice just relaxing at the beach and pool. We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice structure, excellent service at reception and pool areas, not nearly ass attentive at restaurants. Food overall sub-par. People leaving towels on beach and pool chairs to reserve them is totally NOT cool and should be forbidden.

My husband and I went on vacation together. It was an unforgettable holiday. The room was very beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Whenever we had questions, everyone did their best to help. The food, both in the restaurants and buffets, was excellent—always fresh and delicious. The pools were very clean, and the sea was simply amazing: no waves, crystal-clear water. The beaches weren’t very large, but they were very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this resort!

Loved the low key atmosphere. Like the quiet of a swimout witj waiter service so no need to leave the water.

Loved this resort and everyone there! Would definitely go back. The food was great, the entertainment was awesome, and we absolutely loved our room with a private swim-up pool area and hammock. The only thing that wasn’t amazing is the beach was filled with seaweed, but this didn’t bother us especially since they can shuttle you daily to a beautiful beach 10mins away. If all you want to do is lay at the beach, you might not be happy, but we were super content just laying by the pool.

I wanted a resort where I could rest & relax….mission accomplished! The property was peaceful & beautiful. My room was perfect with the hammock and swim out pool, and the staff was excellent, specifically my Butler, Aronni, and Elian, Arlette and my massage therapist. The hot stone massage was heavenly. There was one one issue that was immediately addressed & resolved. If you are looking for a low-key stay in a beautiful environment with top notch service…this is your place! I will definitely return and refer to clients in the future.

We spent extra money for a swim up suite, and called a week ahead to confirm our reservation. At check in, we were told that the room was not available. We were put into a room that was nice, but in a cheaper price category. To this date we have not received a refund from the resort or from Expedia. While the resort was fabulous, and many of their staff very helpful and kind, this experience will mean that we don't return or use Expedia in the future.

I'm a little torn on my review of Casa Marina Select. Loved: The swim up room Francis, the very helpful gentleman who worked the bell desk. He went out of his way to help with whatever anyone needed. All the bartenders and the service staff in the buffet restaurant The cleanliness, it was absolutely spotless every day Was OK The food at the buffet...it wasn't the most amazing meal you are going to have but there were lots of choices and it was replenished frequently. Needs some work: The water situation. I only had one warm shower my entire stay, otherwise the water was cold or at best tepid. The day I left there was no water at all, so no shower or flushing toilets. There are not enough pool and beach chairs. People were out there at 5am claiming them for the day. The cigarette smoke. A large group set up directly across from my room and proceeded to chain smoke from 7:30am until they went to dinner at 6:30. Another group smoked at the tables at the outside bar all afternoon. Someone in the room above me smoked all afternoon and evening on their balcony. The people on both sides of me were complaining as well. I would stay again, but only in the swim up rooms. And they really need to put in some designated smoking areas, the current smoke wherever you are policy really impacts the stay for everyone.

We recently returned from staying on the select side & overall, we had a great trip. Pros: the select side was secluded enough that we could relax without all the noise and a ton of extra people. Food was decent through our entire stay - our meal at Herman’s was the best of the week, though the buffet always sufficed with many options. Staff were 99% friendly and any concerns we had were dealt with quickly; we had clogged toilet, they came straight away. Our AC died, they came within minutes of us telling them. Our cleaners were lovely and we tipped them well for the hard work they do. Our room was clean, had no bugs or visible signs of mold. Cons: we booked a king room and got 2 doubles. We didn’t say anything about it & that’s on us. I would say something next time. There seems to never be enough chairs by the pools or on the beach & that can be frustrating when people leave their belongings on the chairs all day/night and are rarely there. We wished there was more communication/details about what’s going on: a la carts, theatre shows, disco, local vendors. It would be helpful to add another page with basic details and times. We couldn’t find anything so never experienced any shows. We would go again. We’d like to try a swim up room - you never have to worry about chairs then!

First off , let me say the 4 stars is for the "Select" area of this hotel, which is where I stayed. The rest of the property is (maybe) a 3. This is obviously an old property that has seen some renovation, but could use more. The ocean behind the hotel (there's a small private beach) is very rough. Do NOT attempt to go in past waist-deep unless you are a good swimmer. Pool area was nice, but could use more activities ( a little dead). Food quality at the buffet was "meh". The a la carte restaurant called Hermann's (available only to guests in the Select area) was better. The quality of the liquor at the pool bar in the Select area is also considerably better than the rest of the hotel, so if you want good liquor, book the Select area! That alone makes it worth the extra money. One last note on my experience in the Select area: the level of customer service was far, far above what I experienced in other areas of the hotel. Everyone I interacted there deserves five stars, from the guys at the pool bar, to the maitre d and waiters at Hermann's restaurant, and even the maid. But one person really stood out for me: Francis at the Select Reception desk (yes, we even had our own reception area!) . One note of warning: the staff is constantly cleaning the hallways (which is good), but the floor tiles are EXTREMELY slippery when wet, so watch your step, especially after a few drinks! One last word: remember that a little tipping does wonders for customer service...

It was the best stay ever in Santo Domingo! (I moved to Fixie Lofts during my stay in Santo Domingo cause I didn’t like my first accommodation) The location couldn’t be better—in the center of the Colonial Zone. It was really clean, neat, cozy, and spacious. Check-in and check-out processes were really easy, and instructions were very clear. They have everything to cook in the kitchen. The bed was spacious and super comfortable. I would love to stay in Fixie Lofts again when I return to Santo Domingo!

We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back. The condo is very nice and well maintained inside. On check in our room was very clean and had a good supply of paper products, dish soap, a sponge and a starter pack of laundry and dishwasher detergent and dryer sheets. Showers are strong and hot. We had plenty of room for our family of four. The view is beautiful from the balcony. Eagle beach is a10 minute walk on the bike/walking path out front. There is a small beach in front of the condo that has some huts and chairs for rent. The pools on property were crystal clear and the perfect temperature. We loved swimming at night and were often the only people at the pool. The grounds are well kept and always clean. The staff checking us in was kind and gave us good tips for the island. We received messages prior to our arrival, confirming our reservation and letting us know what numbers to call/text if we needed anything during our stay. The location of the hotel is great because it’s between 2 busy beaches but is quiet with an amazing view of the ocean and the sunsets are not to be missed. Don’t hesitate to stay here! We can’t wait to come back.

Amazing view from the balcony and living room area. Condo was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We booked a 3 bedroom condo and loved that there were 3 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. Great pools on site as well as free parking. The front desk and security staff are very nice and helpful. Eagle Beach and Palm Beach are within walking distance but it is a little bit of a far walk if you are carrying beach gear. These condos are located in a more quiet area which we enjoyed. We rented a car so that we could check out multiple beaches in Aruba. Parking was available at all the beaches we visited. Our condo included a few beach chairs. Also, there are a few businesses on the island that will deliver beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and other gear that you can rent for the duration of your stay. We found this to be much easier and more affordable than the options of renting an umbrella or chair at each of the beaches or having to get to the beach super early to try to get a palapa. There are many restaurant options in Eagle and Palm Beach and this condo is close to the grocery store. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Blue Residence was clean, safe, quiet, and in a great location. The property has three well maintained pools and the grounds are well kept. The office manager, Ursula, was extremely professional, courteous, friendly, and made us feel quite at home. There were maintenance men on call and they handled minor issues quickly. There’s a beach across the street; you can pay for lounge chairs that don’t belong to Embassy Suites, for $10 a day from the sports people, but the chickees/ palapas, are free. Palm Beach and Eagle Beach are near by too. The Super Market is very close. I would highly recommend Blue Residence for anyone visiting Aruba because it’s in a convenient location, it’s safe, clean, quiet, and you’ll feel like it’s your home away from home.

The pools were perfect & the weight/exercise/running room was really all that a gymgoer will need. The property is wonderfully maintained & the apartment was comfortable, cool, & stocked with the basics. We like to walk & found that the grocery store & restaurant dining options were available within a-mile-or-so. There is no specific beach access, that would have been nice to have. The swim out room was amazing as well as the beach. Food at the buffets was less than desirable.

We had an amazing 5 night stay in a Palace Swim-Up Room. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the swim up pool. It’s very quiet. Our concierge Argenis was the best. He took care of us. Got our dinner reservations taken care of and always made sure our mini bar was full in our room with whatever we needed and wanted. Everyone at the resort was so accommodating and friendly. The pools all have swim up bars and they are fun. Our favorite pool was the Punta Cana Resort pool and Luis is the best bartender at the swim up bar. Don’t forget to tip all your bartenders, servers and concierge. They definitely take good care of you. The Palace pool was very hot and had a lot of kids in it. The adult only pool is also very nice. All of the restaurants were good but our favorite buffet was Poseidon. Rosa was our server at several restaurants and she is truly a sweet lady. The Sports bar is also a fun place and it is open 24 hours. We can’t wait to go back again.

Went with my husband and 2 year old son. The resort is beautiful - 3 in one. Would only recommend the palace as the other connecting resorts were older and not as nice. The junior swim out suite was amazing. The food was better than expected and had good variety and options at the buffet and a la carte. Shows were good for families. The pools were great and the kids waterpark. Service was very good and staff was friendly. There were a few things we did not like such as the train shuttle took very long to come, room service did not have half the menu, our pool filter didn’t work well. But overall had a great time and would recommend.

This resort is quiet and pleasant, first, at the time of our stay there were a bunch of chainsmokers that made it almost impossible for us to stay at the pool area, it only has one pool, so it is smoke party or go to the neighbor resort, the punta cana, that has two pools. Which we did and the ambiance there was better, the quiet pool next to the snacks shack. Another low was unavailability of a la carte restaurant spot, only got one , and was not so impressive, the steaks place, the experiencewas saved by the excellent service by Ingrid. Overall, nice stay, service 5 stars, from front desk, bars, buffet servers, the service here really makes you want to go back.

This was our first Sandals vacation and it was a great one. We enjoyed it enough to book another one for Barbados next April while we were there. The food was good for the most part. The seafood restaurant was under renovation while we were there which took over the lunch and dinner buffet unfortunately. Pool chair saving started at the ridiculous times between 5am-6am between the alarm setters and butlers who were first to swipe them with the room coolers. Kind of annoying but as long as we could grab one for our things we enjoyed being in the pool for the most part. Don’t expect a chair at the quiet pool at all unless you have a butler. Music from the dj at the LOUD pool plays the music so loud at times that you can’t have a conversation or just relax let alone be able to communicate with a bar tender at the pool bar so they screw up loads of drinks which really isn’t their fault with how loud they blast the music in these poor bartenders ears. Staff was very nice overall but don’t expect anything in a hurry cause they’re definitely on island time but so were we so life goes on. Their piece of a private island across the way (5 min. boat ride from their own pier) is a good grab for a half day or so with a pool, a calm, clean beach and water and a restaurant with a pool bar and patio bar as well. The lack of children at the resort is worth its weight in gold between all activities and restaurants. That alone is probably worth sticking to the Sandals business model. Book it.

All the staff were great for the most part some that stood out were the Piano Bar Bartenders, especially “happy” when he was not there Thursday people would aske for him and when they were told he was not there they would leave. He is great with people, has a great personality and someone can explain a drink to him and he can make it. The other young lady, I can’t think of her name, had been there a short time was also awesome with a great personality. Carlton the Bar manager was great and we seen him at different places all day helping out and making sure the bars had what they needed. There was Female Bar Manager, the night of the 24th, that was the most un-professional of any of the staff we encountered our entire trip. She was not concerned about what the bartenders needed but upset about people leaving the pool and dropping glasses off at piano bar. When the bartender tried to take them out she made her return them to the piano bar. All in front of patrons at the bar. Two hours before we left Dante, from loyalty and travel, found us by the pool and explained to us how the process worked to book another stay without actually locking in a specific date. Without him doing this we would not have scheduled one, because of our changing schedules. On our way out we were fortunate enough to talk to Ricky Ricardo and he was one of the nicest people we met here, that is saying a lot. He was a wealth of knowledge about the island and solidified our decision to come back.

The property was absolutely stunning and gorgeous! It was so well kept! Absolutely everyone, no matter what their job was there ,was extremely friendly and kind and willing to do anything they could to make your stay great! The food in every restaurant we ate at was absolutely delicious and servedso beautifully. No matter who served us they were so kind! We were so impressed and we had such a good time. We were there for five days! We were never bored even just meeting someone in the hall, they would say good morning or good evening or can I do anything for you Love the fact that there was a quiet pool and another pool if you wanted more action. Love the fact that it was only 21 and older so you didn’t have to listen to kids. The variety of foods were outstanding and every restaurant was different! I cannot say enough good things about Sandals!!!! They had shows at night that were so entertaining! Everything was just gorgeous! They went out of your way to set things up for you and make everything so easy so you didn’t have to do a thing! They treated us like a king and a queen! Whatever you wanted even if it was more work for them to go get, they did it for you!!! It was the most perfect vacation place we have ever been to! From the resort itself to everyone that worked there to the restaurants to the shopping to the grounds to the wonderful rooms, to the ability to take you to another part of the island. I absolutely highly highly recommend this resort!!!!!

To many pool chairs taken by the butler service and then not being used by the guest, while other guests were left with no chairs to use around the pool.

We loved the organization. From the service at the airport office, the transportation, the handling of our luggage and the service at check in - check out. We loved the food, the facilities, the pools, the sea. The only thing that was perhaps missing was having someone who speaks Spanish. Luckily we found an intern named Alan who spoke Spanish and helped us a lot. Although the staff who attended to us did not speak Spanish, they made a great effort to understand us and for us to understand them, but there are always some details, especially when one has just arrived that one likes to hear in their own language so as not to miss anything. Once one is enjoying the services of the resort it is easier to make oneself understood. For the rest, except for a waitress who surely got nervous because she did not understand us, everything was excellent. This resort is excellent for couples or groups of friends looking for a quiet and pleasant time.

My wife and I stayed there for 6 days and had a wonderful time. Hotel is beautiful, gorgeous infinity pool looking out to the ocean that is steps away. Restaurant is right next to pool overlooking private beach. Quite a large bay and can swim out to reef and snorkel and see lots of colorful fish. Staff are exceptionally professional, courteous and nice. Place is very clean. Also has a gym with beautiful views of the Atlantic ocean. From the hotel you can drive to other beaches, or the jungle, or visit Santiago or the north coast towns and beaches (kite surfing at Cabarete is a treat to see). Temperature was a very constant 25°C min 31-32*C every day (77-92) with rain some nights. Overall, a gorgeous gem of a location and experience!

From the moment we arrived until the end of our stay, the staff treated us exceptionally well. The hotel restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with beautifully presented and delicious food—our waiter, Juan, was outstanding! The beach and pool staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious with a stunning view of the pool and beach. The sandy beach was a highlight, with fish swimming playfully around our feet, and both the pool and beach areas were delightfully uncrowded. There’s even a helicopter landing zone, presumably for flights to STI airport. For variety, there are several restaurants within 2-3 blocks if you feel like exploring beyond the hotel’s offerings. The hotel also features valet service, a spa, cozy fireplaces to enjoy at night, hot tubs, and a responsive WhatsApp service for immediate assistance or updates. The attention to detail and quality of service made our stay unforgettable!

I would like to start by saying that this property is very nice, well maintained thru out the day and many staff members greeted us through out our stay, reminding us that they were at our disposal for anything we needed. It’s on par with what we expected from Marriott Luxury Collection brand. The room we booked was a 1 bedroom suite ocean view and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a little pricey but it was a huge apartment. Too bad we were only there for 3 night. A shout out to Yoemi, Nelfi, Angel and Alonso. These guys work by the restaurant/main pool area and they made sure we had everything we needed, be it towels, pool beds, food, nice coconut water and drinks by the pool. I would return to stay at Ocean Club Sosua because it was a wonderful stay for us.

Perfect place for a PEACEFUL family vacation!! My kids had so much fun just running around the beach and jumping in and out of the three pools and two picuzzis! The kids also had a blast using the chaiselounges as slides inside the saltwater pool and playing beach volleyball! The food was super yummy!!! Try the pastries during breakfast and the mangú!!! AGUAJÍ IS A MUST! the chef is the famous Chef Tita…. Soooo soooo goood, the chicharron, the shrimp ceviche, the papardelle, the chicharron rissoto, and the asopao de langosta, the bread pudding! Basically everything was perfect! The Picuzzi fire pits are unreal…. The views are JUST WOW!! You can see all the mountains of Puerto Plata and the beautiful Sosúa Bay! And last but not least… THE SPA…. Wooww woooww wooowww… we got a couples massage and we enjoyed every second of it… i dare say it’s in my TOP 3 Spas in the DR (and i’ve been around Spas :p ) I also recommend for couples… my husband and I went two years ago and enjoyed it sooo much!

The was a girl’s trip with my childhood friend. Our time at The Ocean Club exceeded our expectations. The endless pool, the crash of the ocean waves, the serenity and luxury feel of this hotel were spectacular. The rooms are expansive, bright, well-appointed, extremely comfortable and well air conditioned. The hotel concierge and staff were communicative, inviting and informative. The two onsite restaurants were outstanding in aesthetic and food quality. Particularly, the thought and attention that went into the 4 course tasting menu at Agaji - showcasing dishes unique to the Dominican Republic. For other adventures, the hotel supplies a brochure equipped with a plethora of excursions the concierge can organize for you. Overall, you would be hard-pressed to find a stay quite as unique in that it checks off all the boxes, so-to-speak - if you’re looking for quality, serenity, and an unpretentious sophistication.

When we booked this was a Margaritaville property. However it changed to a Hyatt dreams a few months later. Like many, we were worried there would be construction or other inconveniences. The hotel was beautiful and clean aside from some fit and finish issues like leaky tubs and showers, peeling paint. Our room was upgraded for $300 one time fee to a suite with a 2nd floor swim out pool, this was worth it and was haggled down from the $400/night ask when we checked in. This is somewhere between a family resort and a party resort. They play loud music at the pool every day which can get annoying. The staff was great and very helpful. They bring your drinks right to you and will be very attentive if you float them a decent tip after your first drink. Drink quality and strength depends on the bartender, same as anywhere I suppose. Beach is terrible and rocky, but you can just walk down to the other Hyatt properties that share the stretch of coastline and it was beautiful. Restaurants were good, best food by far was Italian place and buffet. There was decent bands that played in the main outdoor bar starting at 8pm and the seating arrangement was very comfortable. Couches and cocktail tables everywhere. Theatre entertainment was corny but enjoyable. By no means a 5 star experience, but an excellent budget option and my partner and I would gladly return given we booked 5 days and 4 nights for around $2600 total (flights included).

That was our best experience in a Punta Cana hotel by far. We went to celebrate birthday and anniversary and we had a great time. Hotel, staff, pools, bars, dining options, everything was great. The check in process was smooth with Preferred front desk agent Luis. We stayed at the Villas and Alvaro was our assigned butler, he did a great job. Our housekeeper (Betania) did also a great job. In the Villas pool bar, our bartender Emanuel was amazing, as well as the pool butlers in the Preferred pool (Yoenfry, Johan, Alexander and Christopher). In the buffet during breakfast and lunch, our servers (Nataly, Elisa and Geidy) did also great. Finally, our spa experience was one of the best we ever had. Leoncia and Olga were amazing. Overall it was a great experience and we'll be going back next year.

We were very pleased with our stay at this resort, now called Dreams Cap Cana. The staff were so friendly which made our visits to the pools, beach, restaurants and bars very comfortable. Specific staff members Alvero, Felix, Naftaly and Elisa stand out as great examples of the welcoming, friendly and helpful personnel that we encountered. The pools, beach and rooms were clean. With the low number of guests, we often felt like we had the pools and beach to ourselves. We would definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

While the beach at the resort is currently a bit rocky, the management is actively working to improve it by breaking up the rocks and making the area more usable. I’m confident the beach will be just as beautiful as the rest of the property, making for an even more perfect vacation destination. Overall, I would highly recommend Dreams Cap Cana Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway with top-tier service. I have stayed at the Tranquility many times and it was up to it's usual very good standard and the swimming pool was fantastic. I visited her with my sister and we had a room each, both very comfortable.

I want you "travelers from all around the world" to know that Lorna, the owner of the place, is absolutely exceptional for the way she handled my special requests and particularly my pick-up/drop-off, my food & drinks requests. she is professional, courteous, friendly, attentive, and engaging. she is such an exemplary & gracious host. She makes you feel so welcome, we almost already feel at home and soon in paradise at the same time. Her knowledge of Kingston and her remarkable solving request efficiency are rare indeed nowadays. She is a rich source of balanced information that we usually rarely glean while staying in a classic hotel. I just thought you should all know that this is a real asset to her business. Anyone who treats customers with so much kindness and attention is a rare jewel, and truly gives you an edge over her competition. Lorna Nelson (and Bill Samuels !) are definitely part of the reason we will (without a shadow of doubt) looking forward to stay with them again in the future. Tranquility is a hidden gem in the foothills above Kingston. I stayed just one night to be relatively close to airport. (Tranquility is 1/2 hour from airport. Normally, I am more than two hours away.) The hostess, Lorna, is delightful. She is welcoming but respectful of your privacy. She offered a complementary beverage and snack shortly after arrival. I watched the sunset over Kingston. I enjoyed scenery from my personal balcony. She made sure I had a cup of coffee in the morning before heading to the airport! I will definitely stay at Tranquility again.

We stayed in Jamaica for 10 days and Tranquility Estate was one of 4 accommodations, but by far most the best one. Our Suite was spacious and had a great aura, from the balcony we had an astonishing view on the Blue Mountains and Kingston. The quality of breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruits from the Garden and local markets. Our host Lorna is so lovely and made that we felt like at home and in paradise at the same time. We can't describe in words, how good we felt at Tranquility Estate.

Fabulous host in a fantastic location. A large country house overlooking Kingston from the aptly Ned Skyline ridge. Lorna is a superb cook serving the highest quality Jamaican dishes with exotic fruits and, of course, the world's best coffee from just up the Blue Mountains. She is also a rich source of balanced information that you will rarely glean while staying in a hotel or Air B&B . You will need a car and be a competent, confident driver to get up the steep hills but it is genuinely worth it.

This business (boutique hotel, high end restaurant and a fashion boutique) is a hidden gem in the Carribean. My daughter and I had an amazing 12 day stay in the bigger pool suite (room 10) in July. Amazing experience enhanced by professionalism, very wam hospitality and kindness. Comfortable, clean and chic hotel room. Stunning guest pool downstairs and a romantic smaller private pool accessed from the pool suite upstairs. The staff provided exceptional service with grace and a smile. Owner Eva is a visionary with an immense talent, immecable taste in fashion and decor and deep knowledge of how to run a high end boutique hotel business and restaurant. Special thanks to GM Leonicita. She is very professional, engaging, kind, smiley and attentive. No request was too big or too small. I loved our conversations over breakfast each morning. A lifetime of memories was created. Many thanks to everyone at Ocean Z! Everyone made us feel welcome - like we were at home - and the food and cocktails/drinks at the restaurant were absolutely amazing! We will be back!

My wife and I just stayed at the ocean z hotel in Aruba. We were in suite 11 with an amazing view of the ocean. This hotel is beautiful. Very clean, quiet and away from the busy tourist areas. But if you want to go there it's only a 5 min drive up the road. The beach is a 3 min drive or 10 min walk. What sets this place apart by far is the staff. The staff is awesome. So attentive and friendly. Especially Maria. She took care of whatever we needed at any time. They had breakfast for us every morning and having dinner in their restaurant at night was a great experience. The only negative I can say is that the jets in our private pool were broke and could not be fixed until our last day. Small price to pay for how amazing everything was. I highly recommend and will absolutely stay there again. We loved it.

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. We had a room with the private infinity pool on our balcony. Amazing view, the pool was great. Staff was beyond kind and would offer to help with anything before you'd even think about needing help. Breakfast every morning was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Something to look forward to every morning. They heard us talking about going down to the beach during breakfast, and brought us a cooler with ice and 2 beach chairs, and we didnt even ask! It was perfect. Dinner is also very good. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. This was our first trip to Aruba, and we plan on coming back. When we do, I won't even bother looking at another hotel. This place is it for us. Special thank you to Maria and Herman for all they do!

We just had an absolutely fantastic visit to Aruba (Aug 5-10, 2024). Ocean Z is a boutique and very small hotel. I am providing the good and the room for improvement items. Good: - Amazingly good staff; very attentive and very prompt - Very close to Tres Tapes (snorkeling for turtles) - Quiet and away from the "party zone" of Aruba (we loved that) Room for improvement: - We had 2 pool suites; bathrooms were awesome. However you literally can't use the toilet from 7:30am - 11am because it's so hot. Maybe a screen should be put in the bathroom that can be drawn down - The lack of privacy when using the pool or stepping out of the rooms and the dining room is right across is very strange - Modify breakfast menu once every couple of weeks or every month? Even though we loved our stay, the staff, etc., we would not go back to Ocean Z - It's too expensive for what it offers - One day there was a party which took over the entire hotel and we were informed about it, the day off. We could not even park our car in the small parking lot We understand it's a small hotel (7-8 rooms), but when one is paying ~$500/room/night, one does expect a little bit more

The service here is absolutely exceptional. Each person at Ocean Z knew our names, were eager and happy to help with anything at all. The food was excellent, the pool was really nice, and location is superb, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, nature-first experience. We has a delicious fresh breakfast each morning, walked to the beach, snorkeled with fish and sea turtles (!!) and came back to relax in the pool, have a glass of wine on our balcony, etc. The only reasons we didn't give this 5 stars is because our room (the mini master suite) was much smaller than anticipated, and unfortunately there was a sewage smell/situation which was unpleasant for a full 24 hours of our time here. Other than that, the owners, mgmt, folks in service, etc. were phenomenal!

This was a mixed bag stay, but overall good. Huge room with 2 spacious bedrooms and location were the best parts. We really appreciated the space. Decent kitchen with fridge and stovetop only, but not very stocked with kitchen gear and no basic extras like salt or coffee. Also, some small cockroaches but nothing crazy. We booked an ocean view room, but got a ground floor looking out at the parking lot. The swimming pool by us was not worth the effort and like a bad motel 6 pool. We didn’t try the 2nd pool. Like others stated, do not expect hot water. Almost lukewarm was as good as it got, but the water pressure was good. The location was amazing. Boquerón is a great beach town with many locals vacationing. Lots of restaurants and food carts and beautiful beaches nearby. Also a short drive to La Parquera beach town for another fun day.

I loved staying at this little hotel. It was close to town and easy excess to get around. The only issue is that there was no hotwater and no directions on how to turn it on. It was quiet, the pool was amazing and it had spectaclar views of the ocean. I would highly recommend!

It does the purpose, nice pool, friendly staff wish there were more outlets, especially in the bathroom. I could not blow dry my hair because there was no outlet in the bathroom other than that it worked great for us.

Place great, 2 bedroom was perfect small kitchen, hot water. Pool good. The only problem here is to contacted the front desk by phone. Never answered but soon you there everything when super good. Loved

We were only able to get dinner reservations at the restaurants 2/5 nights. Wish there were healthier options and more snack/quick options on the beach & by the pool.

I really enjoyed my stay with Grand palladium Bavaro Suites. Maintenance of property is excellent. They made sure enough staffing in place every 50 meters radius. Also the villa staff at 18 ( Bavaro ) fixed few maintenance issue for us. Beach was 100 meters walk from our place and it was beautiful view. Pools with bar was so excellent that you could have drink on the pool ( amazing experience). Staff were friendly and most of managers knew English. Lobby restaurant for buffet was good. Would like to call out Juan Jalpay , Expedia concierge who have made reservations for the restaurant, modified them when requested and made necessary arrangements for buggy transport from villa to lobby.

Staff is absolutely amazing and accommodating! Great dining options and great variety of pools and beach spots to lay back and relax unlike many other resorts that have 1-2 pools and you feel like everyone is overly crowded in one spot. This is a beautiful resort and I will definitely be back!

Loved the service , it’s been a long time since we visited a resort with such great service , thanks to Daniel , Richard and our concierge Juan for their great customer service. And the guys at the adults pool they made our stay even better!

A beautiful resort with decent dining options, (mostly) great service, fun nightly shows/entertainment, and comfortable, villa-style rooms. We will go back. Only annoyances to note were regularly being approached by employees at beach and pool trying to sell you excursions or other upgrades, awfully expensive pricing of sundries in the gift shops, and people being allowed to "reserve" cabanas and umbrellas at the beach and pools by draping a towel over the chairs. Cabanas would sit for hours unused until the person came down for an hour or two later in the day. We never found a free cabana or umbrella the entire week. Service was exceptional overall, with only one bad experience at the Brave Steakhouse restaurant. We were ignored for a long time before being greeted, waited longer than usual between courses, and had to fetch one of our drinks at the service counter because it was never delivered. We ended up leaving before dessert arrived because we got tired of waiting.

We had a great experience. The coral level feels like a boutique hotel within a much larger hotel. Definitely appreciated the coral only dining options and pools / beach spaces - allowed for an air conditioned breakfast / lunch buffet which was nice when it was so hot out. There was also more space between the pool / beach chairs compared to the other areas of the hotel, and plenty of chairs available (in mid-May). It was worth the additional charge for coral level (for us at least). The food was consistently good (perhaps just a little too salty), and some meals were particularly exceptional. The hospitality was great, everyone had a smile on their face and was so friendly. We would happily come back to the coral level Iberostar properties in the future!

This is the second time in Iberostar. First one was 10 years ago and we loved our staying and now we decided to upgrade to the Coral Level section ehhh WOOWW! I would recommend it to everyone, yes it is more expensive but worth it! Everything was cleaned, we had some tiny problems with the tv and the safety box missing batteries and they came in no time to fix it and to assure everything was ok. Food super good, good quality and good variety always fresh and well made. Pools never crowded , beach was plenty of sargassum sadly but we walk for 45 min on the beach and we found a nice spot to take a swim. Our cleaning lady was the best! Her name is Yajaira de Jesus and she was super kind and always attentive about details when organizing the room, you’ll be lucky to have her. So if you’re hesitating about this hotel, dont hesitate more and go!!

There are 4 Iberostar hotels (Grand, Selection, Coral Level, Dominicana) sitting next to each other. I reserved Coral-Level for 2 family rooms availability reason (my couple and 2 grown daughters had 2 separate bedroom villa with a connecting door) and this was a perfect decision. Coral Level runs a Coral level guests only exclusive restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner with all options including seafood, steak and etc everyday. Also Coral level has 110 rooms which makes the resort very quiet and peaceful. Selection Iberostar has a big swimming pool with over 400 rooms and is more like Cancun in a party atmosphere and many families. Most of the reservation needed dinner restaurants are in Selection Iberostar. Grand Iberostar is an adult only, more elegant & classic look and is very quiet.

Have stayed at Grace Bay in the past and much prefer Rock House location with being closer to the airport and more private. And although beach area smaller it was never overcrowded and plenty of room at both pool and beach for entire family. Plunge pool also well worth the spurge and overall great experience at Rock House and we will be back again!

This was the most amazing boutique hotel! This is in a quieter side of the island in Blue Mountain and you feel very isolated from the busier Grace Bay. Worth every penny and made a very important birthday extra special. We had a one bedroom with a plunge pool. While the main pool is nice, we were shocked so many people enjoyed that all day and not the private slice of beach. The resort is also surrounded by a reef system that’s awesome to snorkel. Vitas Italian based restaurant was amazing and we made several stops at Cocos Boutique for gifts, Tylenol and great advice. The main office helps setup activities for you and most come with travel to and from. We could not be more grateful for the team of staff that made it so pleasant.

This hotel is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous - breathtaking views and an amazing infinity pool. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We loved that breakfast was included and they were generous with portions. As far as service, I need to give Joan and Francesca a HUGE shoutout. They were so amazing, accommodating, solutions oriented and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. At the pool, both Ty and Jeff were so helpful and great. Outside of that, this hotel has a lot of work to do service wise. For the price, location and ambiance, we expected 10/10 service. I don’t think the issue is the actual people themselves - I think there is a leadership issue. The restaurant and pool service were super slow. We ended up walking with our luggage twice because the bellman didn’t come. Room service took 1.5 hours for a salad. Twice they ran out of Diet Coke. I also was able to meet the GM - I had some questions about the music by the pool - he went on a long diatribe about how they purposely don’t “play Mary j Blige or serve conch on their menu” because that’s not the vibe they are going for. He was very pretentious and stuffy - my advice to him would be to 1) listen to feedback from your guests, 2) embrace the incredible culture of Turks and 3) take better care of your staff. So - all in all, 4/5 stars because we LOVED the hotel itself. With better leadership and an open mind to listen to feedback from guests, service will improve, and this will be the best hotel in Turks.

We had a brilliant time - the staff were incredible, extremely helpful and welcoming! Thanks to Franncesca, Peterson, Robert, Monica, Gerald, Berlandie, Frank, Orlando and everyone who helped with all our questions, provided recommendations, carted us around and managed to help us find last minute bookings. The pool and restaurant team were always smiling and made the overall experience that much more wonderful! The lobster pizza and Drunken Lobsters - exceptional! The resort is beautiful - the walkways and views are stunning, the pool area is pristine. The only real downsides is that it is very remote (which is also an upside!), so you do need a car / rely on taxis as you cannot walk anywhere, so this can also get very expensive. Plus there is construction but for the most part that didn't disrupt us.

Room was spacious and loved our swim up- however wish it connected to the large pool. Food was great- always fresh. Very self service than usual all inclusive resorts.

My best decision was booking the room with private pool (shared with 4 other rooms). It was worth the extra money It is a nice location and it was an enjoyable stay I was disappointed in the food. The buffet and the specialty restaurants. It was all very mediocre.

The beauty of this hotel and it's location the swim up room and food and drinks available all day all night and the coffee Cafe. There is so much about this hotel that I liked ❤️ Will defenetly return for a family vacation and make use of the Waterpark and all the many places and activities this hotel offers ❤️

I felt safe and at ease on property and it was an easy walk to town. I booked one of the swim up adult only rooms and there was a child there everyday (kids will be kids so there was some noise, I did report to front desk however it continued)…ordered room service (still waiting for my order and trip has been complete for several weeks now)…I had a nice time despite the hiccups and would book again due to safety, cleanliness and overall appearance.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villas Agua Dulce. The villa itself was amazing – spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with incredible artwork that gave it a unique charm. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the huge kitchen made it so easy for us to enjoy meals together. The pool was a highlight of our stay – not only refreshing during the day but also breathtaking at night with its gorgeous lighting. The peaceful surroundings and stunning scenery made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were fantastic and attentive, always making sure all our needs were met and going above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. The pool was so nice, especially during the night time! Rooms were super nice and air conditioned, each having their own bathroom. Setting was very nice and the outside looked beautiful during the day. Rooms had a connected balcony which was beautiful! Food was delivered to our door and so were things from the supermarket, making it super convenient. Workers were very friendly and welcoming. Massages were great!!

Rented the villa for my sin's bday and it above and beyond. Lovely decoration and very clean. Def renting again as the staff was very friendy and professional.

I visited with my 2 sisters for our first "Sis-caytion" and the resort was the perfect place for this special occasion. We bonded, dined, relaxed, partied, took beautiful pictures in this picturesque resort and explored Punta Cana! The staff named us "The Destiny's Child" lol. From the warm welcome, to the great entertainment options, cleanliness to the wonderful staff! I can say this is definitely worth the money. I expected a lot considering the expensive price but quite frankly it bit my expectations. Rooms and environment was cleaned around the clock, security was on point. They had something for everything. For an all inclusive, the quality of the food and drinks were 5* restaurant quality (especially if you eat at the restaurants). The breakfast buffet was amazing. We ate ate and ate until we could eat no more. The resort is so beautiful and honestly, whatever your vibe is, there is something for you. The staff- work like robots, so efficient and always on the job but always remain so friendly, happy and always willing to help or make you laugh. I hope they are getting paid well enough (because they deserve it). When you want peace and quiet, or if you want to party of meet people, they had something for you. I normally don't leave reviews but I just had to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I had a lovely stay at Secrets Tides Punta Cana. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable throughout my visit. Everyone was extremely courteous and professional. I especially want to recognize the receptionists, bag concierges, maids, servers, and chefs, all of whom contributed to an exceptional experience. Food was beyond excellent my boyfriend and I loved the variety there was so much to choose from!! We tried to eat every hour and still couldn’t get to all of the restaurants! If you love to eat like me this is the place to go🤣🤣 In regards to the staff, each person was awesome and so kind to us. When dining in the restaurants I did notice that each of the workers asked my boyfriend and I if we had any food allergies, we do not however it is nice to know that the staff is focused on the safety of their guests. On a different note, the activity planned for adults on how well you know your significant other and karaoke was a BLAST, wish there was more activities such as these! Our stay was awesome and we will def return!

The staff were amazing! Everyone, from the front desk people to the landscaping staff, were welcoming and always said hello. It is a LARGE property, so be prepared for lots of walking! But the place is so beautiful, it is no problem!

This property is a beautiful house with two pools lit up with pretty colors all night and parking for guests. Check in and check-out was fast and simple, Angel was very helpful answering all of our questions. Has an accessible kitchen with a microwave, stove and fridge. Main house has many common places to sit and chat or eat for a while, great place for renting out in a big group. The pools are amazing, especially at night with all the pretty lights and nature all around. The mountaintop is great for sky watching or a morning in with some coffee. There’s this great bakery close by with great breakfast called Atena’s Bakery that’s like 5 minutes away.

There is Hot water, There is no hammock, like displayed in the pictures but the property is beautiful and very private, be aware there is a gaurd dog but he is friendly and will protect you. And there is a beautiful bengal cat that i did not dare go next to inside the house, but you are able to use the house the pool the jetted pool (not a jaccuzzi) the stove outside and in, they only provide you with towels and soap so come prepared. He is very communicative. We actually had the house to ourselves because no one was there which was perfect as well. Its so peaceful the scenery is amazing, i would say the place can be a bit more cleaner upon arrival, and i would have liked other amenties besides towels and a little bar of soap, but overall the property is amazing it is beautiful very homey, makes you feel rich for a reasonable price. I did enjoy my time here P.s ( you definitely need a car, it comes with parking this place is a bit far out but very close to beaches and about 15 minutes away from the Pueblo or foods amd bars)

Everything about the property was as advertised. Really nice. Room and bathroom was big and clean. A/C worked!! Common areas (kitchen, living/dinning room and pool/patio area) were spacious, clean and modern. Property location was nice and private. My only complains are: I got a different room from what I had reserved. I didn't asked to be move or approach management about it. I didn't had time for it. Second there was a Boxer dog in the property. The dog seem to be an older dog and kind of docile but I'm scare of dogs (specially dogs that don't know me) so I didn't like having to deal with that. Mr. Angel Abreu (property owner/ management) was extremely responsive, friendly and very nice to interact with. He even answered a phone call at 4:30am when I called him about the dog. I would definitively recommend this property and even consider to stay again in the future.

It was peacefully quite area.fresh air .the pool needs maintenance.the room was small .the bathroom was ok,the handle to open the shower was broken.. the AC didn’t had a control so I had to climb in a chair to turn it on/off ..other then that it was fun, the kids enjoy it ..

My stay was fantastic. Friendly and helpful personnel. Bed was great and pillows too slept like a baby. Was able to bring everything for microwave cooking and great small fridge. It looks recently remodled. If your on low budget this is the place you want to stay to enjoy and relax and from here u can go anywhere!

Service here is Fabulous. Everyone was friendly and always helpful. Especially our butler Armando. Beach is beautiful. Loads of tiki huts to sit under at the beach. Pool is huge. Towels are huge. There is a beach tote in your room to use. Food is good. Lunch was the best. Great Wifi and lots of tv channels. Celebrated my birthday and they did some really nice surprises .

Extremely clean and well maintained. Not too big to navigate. Great layout. On the Ocean,nice pool.

A fantastic all inclusive resort for families. Lovely food and lots of restaurants to choose from. Pools had swim up bars and there was a great water park as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the entertainment in the evening excellent. Highly recommend.

Just returned from an 11 night stay. We travelled with our 8.5 month old and had a preferred club swim out room. Our butler Willy was amazing and was always there to help us. The resort itself is more beautiful than we imagined. The food was great and PC was definitely worth the extra money in our opinion. The food options were great and not having to make reservations was perfect for us with our little one. The staff work so hard and we had a fantastic time. Weather was perfect too! Would return :)

Family of 9- 3 rooms stayed at Dreams Flora and had a blast! Our Butler Will was the best and checked in on us everyday and made sure we had the best vacation. The staff here make this resort. Everyone we encountered was happy and friendly! I have been to many HIC resorts and this was one of my favorites. I usually stay at Secrets since we don’t have kids but I would 100% come back to Dreams Flora! We had 2 Preferred Club swim out rooms which were PERFECT and my MIL and FIL got the Preferred Club Ocean Front Master Suite which was beautiful. We rented a cabana on the beach one day and the staff was wonderful. The beach had sargassum but we didn’t care! We still went in the ocean and had a great time. The food was good, the grounds were beautiful and we all around had a great time. Thanks Dreams for a great vacation!!

We went as a group for my daughter's wedding from September 29th through October 6th. The resort is gorgeous and beautiful. It is a big resort so it took me a couple days to orient myself. Service was impeccable See Julio and Juan at buffet Our room was clean, and we had a turn down Service Swim up bars had amazing Service Entertainment team is SUPERB! I will go back A la carte we did Himitsu , delicious Portofino good not great Buffet delicious and variety for everyone and with a kids section awesome. Seaside grill for wedding reception was excellent Towel people don't forget about them

We loved the beach (there was a lot of seeweed, but they clean it every day) and the water park, the hotel stuff was very nice all the time. We liked some of the restaurants, the good thing is you don’t need a reservation for the restaurants, but there can be a long waiting list,so make sure you go there early and put your name on the list. The swim-up rooms were very nice with kids. The food was very good, there was a huge variety of food. Unfortunatelly we got a stomach thing on our second day and it lasted till the end of our stay, so we couldn’t really enjoy it. Not sure what was the cause-it was our first time in DR, we were at another resort before and there were no problems like that.

Communication is a bit weird. They aren't part of the resort per se, Read your welcome email thoroughly, then read it again. Once you get settled in tho, It's fantastic. The resort (you will receive pass cards for free admittance thru security & the beach), has a private beach, great security, three restaurants/bar, a dive shop (the folks whom we know know by first names) all a few minute walk. The scuba is great, and they have a boat to charter as well...all on the property. Blue Bay is the premier place to be on the island. The entire island speaks English, drives on the right (kinda like go-carts tho), and take dollars. The locals are very nice.

We stayed at a Blue Bay one bedroom apartment for the first two weeks in Feb 2018, and we have nothing but positive feedback to give. The Holiday Property management group was great to deal with, and provided everything we needed and more! The resort specifically is in a great location, with a beautiful private beach which is never crowded. We enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay, and Curacao in general. We will definitely keep coming back to this paradise!

It was a beautiful apartement with almost everything you need. Why almost, because you don't have a dryer machine (electricity is very expensive) but you have a rack where you can dry your stock. Very quiet place with an elevator that is very useful when you have to bring your lugage at the second or third floor. I would recommend that place anytime. Thanks to the people who took care of us.

Outra vantagem importante é poder utilizar a praia do resort sem custo que é uma das melhores da ilha.

Wonderful penthouse unit, plenty of space, including outside patio and balconies, great views, all necessities provided. Great master bedroom, true king size bed. Walk in closets, private bathrooms and walk in closets in all rooms. Blue Bay beach is right there, still recommend a rental car for more Curacao. Daily service is not included, but we did not need it.

Such a wonderful and stress free stay. I’m a solo traveler and felt very safe and comfortable! The place was very clean. Unfortunately since it was just me traveling, I didn’t use all the sweet accommodations that came with the place , like fire pit , a spot for friends and family to hang out at outside, the full dining room table, lots of space too! It was nice to be able to park my rental car right at the place. My only small suggestion would be to have A/C throughout the house, not just fans . But I understand that’s expensive! Atleast the room had A/C and that was where I was most of the time when I was there anyways! Other than that: beautiful place , nice accommodations, you get a good deal staying here. Highly recommend. Plus it’s a short distance to basically everything!

We had such a great time at Villa serenity! We were blown away by the cleanliness and how stocked the kitchen and bathroom both were. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the canal. The host was very responsive and everyone on the property was very pleasant and friendly. We had no issues with the TV or air conditioning and the room was perfect! The location is a perfect spot. We weren’t too far from anything but were off the beaten path which brought a lot of peaceful quiet. There’s plenty of parking that’s safe as well! We did not use any of the amenities such as kayaks, the pool, fire pit, etc but we could see all of them and everything was clean and I believe usable for guests. I’d love to return for my next trip and would recommend to anyone looking to explore the island!!

Very tranquil and quiet. Beautiful property had a romantic getaway for our 21st wedding anniversary. We kayaked in the canal out back, enjoyed dinner in the back yard on the water several evenings and took a dip in the pool. There were jet skis also but we didn’t get an opportunity to use those not sure if they are available for guests but you could ask. It was well worth it and probably the best thing about our trip as the Island was very expensive otherwise. Having a kitchenette was a great plus! The property owners were very nice and friendly and the grounds keeper was very friendly we enjoyed the interactions with them.

I had the pleasure of staying at the villa for one night, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The villa is situated right next to the river, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The location is a bit off-road, but it's not difficult to find your way there, and you'll hardly get lost. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent, which is always a plus. It allowed me to stay connected with friends and family during my stay. The villa is a quiet place, perfect for relaxation and unwinding after a busy day. The check-in process was fairly smooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, it's worth noting that the stairs leading to the villa are quite steep, which may be challenging for some. That being said, the villa offers ample parking space, so getting in and out is hassle-free. Overall, I had a wonderful time at the villa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Tne environment was extremely quiet, except for a few barking dogs, who were silent at night. The drawback of this tranquility is of course that there is nothing in the neighbourhood. The nearest supermarket (KG Foods) is more than 15 minures walking and so is the nearest (indian) restaurant Communication with the place was somewhat difficult; I expected a self-check-in, which I hate, but fortunately there was a friendly lady to see me. Closing and opening of the door was with a code, what I never did, because I am clumsy and hoped for a fysical key (that didn't come). All in all it is a great place!.

Great apartment for a 5 night stay. Very large for two people, could easily sleep four. Fantastic location, off the main strip, 10 minutes walking to everything, supermarket ‘around the corner’. Front and back areas for relaxing, pool perfect. My apartment had a large private terrace but very hot so definitely needs a fan - that is the only criticism. Judy and Benjamin (hosts) were lovely people, always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Parking right outside. I would stay here again.

The owner and staff were so lovely and accommodating! The property is like a serene oasis with a lovely new pool (2024) which was a surprise as it wasn't there when we first booked. The property is off the busy streets, but an easy ten minute walk to plenty of dining options and excellent beaches and sunsets! Quiet, quant and everything you need for a vacation rental! Thank you for having us!

Central, close to Palm Beach though I had a rental car and was driving to different beaches. Room is nice, quiet and AC works great. Outdoor kitchen and dining area has everything you need. The garden and pool area is the best part of relaxing/lounging. Such beautiful plants and flowers. Many lounge chairs and one hammock per unit.

Nice enough room came with a great little outdoor kitchen. Had everything we needed clean room friendly staff. The small pool was a nice Plus. The only negative was the bed was very firm and pillows weren't amazing

A nice, clean, & quiet place with a beautiful courtyard/pool area. Walkable distance to the beach. Judy, the manager was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Aruba.

Totally worth the drive if flying into SJU! This place became one of our faves out of four trips to Puerto Rico. We loved how our host kept in touch, giving us tons of great local tips on their website. The apartment was huge and comfy, the biggest we've had on this trip. Having a full kitchen and grill was awesome, we cooked some meals and chilled out. Everything we needed for four days was there. The little pool was perfect for cooling off! It's a short drive to gorgeous beaches. Definitely go to Playa La Jungla, but get there early because they start to close at 4:30 and you gotta leave by 5. Then hit Santa Beach to keep the beach fun going! Also, try Umami restaurant near the beach – the food and service were amazing! They open at 5pm on Thursdays. ⛱️ We'd definitely stay at Palmeras Beach Apartments again!

Everything! This house was amazing. We got the one with the pool my girls loved that. It was very clean and just comfortable. Close to private beaches and great little restaurants.

The house is cozy, great to bring the family. It has all the necessary, towels, plates, cups, fridge, pool. We loved the roasters waking us up.

Wonderful experience for the whole family. I stayed at Vista del Mar apartment and the view was breathtaking. The apartment was fully equipped with everything to cook, relax and enjoy the surrounding. We decided to stay at the place the whole day on Sunday just to enjoy the games, sun and good company. local bars and restaurants were friendly and delicious. The suggestions made by owner were also excellent and I recommend to follow. We will definitely comeback very soon and try the bigger apartment that I think it was lake view. I appreciate the host and service team for a marvelous experience!

The Palmeras apartment is in a great location. It has stunning views in all directions of the mountains and down to the beaches. It was a very short walk down to the beach, where there was entertainment and food. The apartment was exactly as the photos show. The upstairs area provided plenty of fun. It was a great space that provided plenty of fun and entertainment for us to host our local family that came to visit. I recommend this place for families, couples, or anyone really.

The resort was beautiful. The swim up pool was in a location away from foot traffic thank goodness. Elite made the trip top notch with the delicious restaurant, bar only elite could use, and separate beach area where we could always find an open bed unlike the pool area.

The staff is just over the top. Drinks, the swim-up pool in the room, RIU party and Honeymoon gifts were just amazing! Thank RIU team for the best holidays we could ever have

I got the swim up suite it was amazing, food was great staff members was very to help . The riu party are crazy I went to 2 if the 3 partys they host, I got a vip section everytime.

I enjoyed the staff. They were very helpful and always happy. I could mention specially Bermudez from the pool who was always so attentive and helpful. Always trying to please us in every way.

Pool areas was great offered a lot of excursions on the resort sports bar was very nice and entertainment was live and fun room have four liquor options Jim tequila, rum, vodka refrigerator was stacked with drinking options and snacks. You are allowed to visit the Sister resorts next-door. One resort has a waterslide. There is also a casino which they really don’t tell you about unless you look at the map, but it was nice I went for bingo night and the spa was amazing.

One of a kind, fantastic boutique hotel, Maria was the best concierge , so nice and considerate!

Breakfast was perfect, with lots of options. Maria is exceptional... She made our stay truly special.

Breakfast was lovely! The waitress made the experience very personable which was amazing. The location was ideal for all our plans, and we were able to park our rental car right outside. Staff in general were really nice and they made an effort to make us feel welcome.

The house is just like the images shown online, located in a amazingly quiet neighborhood. The host Monica was extremely helpful and replied immediately when I had any question. The house is spacious and has everything you need, the pool is perfect to dip in when is hot. All amenities available, loved the fully A/C home as well, as Aruba is sometimes pretty hot during the day. The beds are super comfy to sleep in and bonus points for the hot water in the shower. Villa Dona Kika is a beautiful home. The pictures are very accurate, but in person it is even nicer. Everything was very clean, no bugs, no dust. If you like to cook both kitchens and bbq are very well equipped with all the utensils you need, just buy food. The beds are comfortable not worn in. The pool was clean and not over chlorinated. There is a full bathroom with a washer and dryer outside in the pool house as well as an outdoor shower. It is close enough to the beach and restaurants that you could walk. The owners of this property take very good care of it. I felt as though I was in my own home with my family. My family travels from the States twice a year to visit relatives in DR and absolutely will be back!! We highly recommend renting this beautiful Villa.

I did a lot of research before booking and this resort exceeded my expectations! We stayed 7 days in late April and were upgraded to the exclusive Sun Club for free through Expedia—this really made the trip. Sun Club perks included a child-free exclusive pool and beach area, a private lounge with snacks, room service, and an exclusive buffet with no wait times. It was quiet, relaxing, and perfect for couples. Service was excellent, staff were friendly, and housekeeping was great. Wi-Fi worked well, and the resort app (used for reservations and room service) was surprisingly convenient. The mini bar was a nice touch. Food was delicious with lots of variety. We especially loved Chopsticks for hibachi—no extra charge and unlimited reservations! Drinks were also great and widely available. We didn’t leave the resort, but it’s located along a strip of other resorts and the surrounding area didn’t feel very safe, so caution is advised. Minor downsides: the beach had a lot of sea moss (though they tried to clean it), and there was limited shade at both beach and pool. As for airport transportation, Uber works (don't listen to them if they say its "unsafe" or bad, they want you to take a taxi) —don’t pay more than $25 USD between the airport and this resort. The resort might provide transportation though I'm not sure, we didn't use it. Overall, this trip was a fantastic value. Consider upgrading to Sun Club 100%. We'd absolutely return if visiting Punta Cana again!

Breathtaking Beachfront Views – Waking up to the turquoise waters and white sandy beaches right at my doorstep was truly a dream. Exceptional Service – The staff were warm, friendly, and always went the extra mile to make sure I felt pampered and relaxed. All-Inclusive Luxury – From endless food and drinks to fun activities and nightly entertainment, everything was taken care of — no stress, just vibes! Beautifully Maintained Grounds – The property was spotless, with lush tropical gardens and pools that made every walk feel like a stroll through paradise. Delicious Dining Options – A wide variety of restaurants and cuisines meant I was never bored — every meal was a new experience! Spa & Wellness Vibes – The spa services were heavenly — think massages, hot tubs, and full-on relaxation. Entertainment & Activities – Whether it was poolside games, beach parties, or nightly shows, there was always something fun happening. Romantic & Peaceful Atmosphere – Perfect for couples or anyone just needing a serene escape.

Everything was great. Like all hotels in Punta Cana very cheap cocktails. Nothing to do with the hotel itself. Ive been to many 4 & 5 stars hotels in Punta Cana, but there are two reasons why i dislike traveling here. #1 very few hotels have heated pools. #2 drinks are awful. In Mexico the cheapest hotel has a heated pool & top notch drinks. A margarita is made with real lemons.

Resturants were hit or miss. Chop sticks was good. Tiki taco was good. Even though its Italian food. Sunnys Delight was great. Brazilian restaurant horrible. Never had enough meat for tables on skewers. Plus waiters kept going to same tables. Buffet was horrible. Salad bar was bland and sides that were hot were not. Checking in was fast and easy! Stayed on adult side. Except room had no wash clothes. Called 4 times between 4pm-10pm on first night there. Had to go down to desk and let them know about there service. After i exspressed myself had no more issues. Room service was great got to be well known. Asked for Caliente. Got Caliente! Adult side buffet was great. Had to be in there within first 2 hrs of opening. After that food wasnt replenished as well. Staff was great and friendly. Pool side had bar and small buffet in adult side. Great presentation of snacks. Except flies got to enjoy more than myself everyday. Told workers to see if sandwiches could be covered. Guess people like flies on food. Drinks from staff at bar were good. Limited choices on alcohol. Made it work though. Shows were good. Except they start after 930pm. Thats way too late. Need to be earlier like 8pm. I say for families with kids. Plus no night club there. Also bars close at 11pm and open at 10am. Liquor in rooms are a no other than 2 bottles of beer. Beach is a waste. Cannot kayak but so far because of boats. Seaweed is all on sand and water. Pool side is better just go early to find a chair

The resort is beautiful and our stay was very nice. There are many pools and play areas for children. The room was slightly dated and did need a little maintenance but it appears as though they are updating some of the rooms. Check in via the sun club was relaxing and didnt take too long. Be prepared to walk as the resort is fairly spread out. The food and drinks were very tasty but the poolside service is non existant. If you want to have a drink be prepared to walk to the nearest bar area though if you speak spanish you can wave down one of the staff. I prefer to walk so that was my choice. We rented a bali bed one day and the service for that was wonderful and the resort staff were able to keep the bulk of the beach vendors at bay. The resort credit was also in the form of coupons for bottles of liquor and spa services so we didnt really end up using it. The restaurants are nice (even the buffets which is rare for an all-inclusive). Kaleidoscope was our favorite buffet and we did one of their al la carte restaurants (chopsticks) the servings there are on the smaller side but you can order as needed and the service is very nice. Tipping for service is optional but if you tip a few bucks here or there you are remembered and appreciated. I would definitely stay again. Great value for the price in my opinion.

The hosts were amazing. We had some issues with our flight which left us terribly jet lagged. They helped us order pizza and even picked it up for us! They helped us schedule tours and gave wonderful restaurant recommendations. We rented a car and there was plenty of parking and they didn’t charge a parking fee. They also didn’t charge a fee for the wifi. The location is fantastic. It’s close enough to Grace Bay to be easy, but far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle. The villa itself is great. Those coming from the US, think of it as a pool house, but with a full kitchen. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom has its own bathroom. Super convenient after a day at the beach and multiple people needing showers. Each room also has its own air conditioner. You will really appreciate that after being in the elements. Overall I would give our stay a 10/10, and will definitely be staying there again!

Wow! Everything! The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were SO accommodating. We were delighted to with the brand new facilities, fantastic air conditioning, and the vicinity to Sunset Beach. Just a quick walk around the corner and BAM! You’re on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We couldn’t have been happier.
