A little haven in Chiang Mai. Stunning hotel, very friendly staff and extremely comfortable room. Plunge pool was a bonus!! Location was great, a short walk across the road into the old town. We didn't want to leave!

The private pool area was beautifully landscaped. The sounds of waterfalls, which were both next to the room and behind the pool foliage, made for a very soothing and pleasant surprise. The service was professional and welcoming, the grounds were immaculate, and the entire resort had an exotic feel to it. The room had fantastic air-conditioning, water pressure, and hot water. The outdoor showers were luxurious.

Came back here after our last stay 12 years ago. The place is as magical as it was back then. You can find yourself staring endlessly at the rice paddies while sipping a cocktail. The resort is a prime example of the aesthetics that the Four Seaons does so well on its properties. We upgraded from a room overlooking the rice paddies to one of the newer villas with private pool. There is a bit of a trade-off to make here. The villas are wonderful and private. Sitting on the deck when the rain pounces down on the pool is magical. The trees that border the pool regularly drop lily flowers into the pool making it even more surreal. But in the villas you do not have the view over the rice field. Overall, I did love the villa choice. We alternated between hanging by our people and one of the two resort pools. The food is great, but I thought not as good as in the Tented Camp Golden Triangle Four Seasons where we also stayed. But like many Four Seasons in the world, this property has expanded over the years, and I missed the personalized service that is so unique to the Four Seasons.

Great experience since we got to the airport. A hotel staff was waiting to take us with a driver to the hotel. Car was very comfortable, offer water just perfect for a 40 min. ride. The Spa was excellent, beautiful your own private pool. The rooms were big with your own private gazebo. The staff was very helpful with accommodations to any site seeing. Food was amazing. Recomend taking the cooking class with your husband or wife. Great for honey moon or a family vacation. And we can't forget the water búfalos on site. Every morning at 8:30 they were waiting for you at the lobby to be touch or if you are small you can sit in them. AMAZING!!!!

Nice resort. Excellent Gym with hot sauna tube & pool nearby. Main pool is not what I expected but other pool option (at residence area) makes me happy. Good breakfast available. However not so much dining option inside of facility (very remoted hotel location so not so much option outside). I stayed farm side and it is special experience. We stayed 6 days at this Four Season resort but too pricy comparing with other hotel resort in Chiang Mai. Lower price can host more visitors I think.

We stayed in the Pool Villa which was nothing short of spectacular. Impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, the Pool Villa blended modern comforts with elegant touches. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. Their attentiveness, kindness, and genuine care for guests set a new standard for hospitality. Every request was met with a smile, and they consistently anticipated our needs. Overall, Chandra Residence exceeded all my expectations. It’s clear they take immense pride in providing a world-class experience. I recommend you book Chef Susie as your private chef. Her food is amazing!. Bravo, Chandra Residence! I can’t wait to visit again.

Having been there for more than a week, I can just say this is one of or more likely the best place I’ve ever been to: developed around a big common area with almost professional kitchen, surrounded by a garden with fish pond and swimming pool, suites are huge and have been renovated and furnished with attention and good taste. Anyway the thing we’ve appreciate more are the owners (and their friends): present but not intrusive, nice and super super helpful and kind.

Everything about this hotel is absolutely amazing. If you like a bit of tranquillity, you will not be disappointed. This property is so peaceful, beautiful, loungy, well maintained, and relaxed. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have everything you need. The swimming pool is also great (incl. the sauna). The staff and the owner are very attentive, thoughtful, and reliable. It is one of the best places I have stayed in my life and would wish to come back.

The house is spacious and artistic, with a private swimming pool. It's perfect for family travelling with helpful and kind staff, who always gives you useful recommendation and prompt response. With staff assistance, we rent a van and driving service, and the driver Suriya is amazing. In addition, the in-room massage is relaxing and refreshing. I will strongly recommend the Chandra residence to my friends, and hope will visit again in future.

As many previous guests remarked this is an exceptional beautiful and downright gorgeous space and setting. Lush in the middle of a tropical setting - with a great pool - quite - unbelievable attentive staff. Highly recommend this place as a fantastic way to be close enough to town while nestled into the neighboring National Park and Forrest.

The staff were amazing and they made us feel at home!! It was my birthday and I was greet with fresh arrangement of flowers at our room and a touching card! This place was so unique and the ground’s stunning!! Peace and tranquility surrounded you in every inch of the grounds!!! The food was wonderful and staff very attentive, polite and welcoming!! Could not recommend this place enough!! Also quick walk to a temple and little town with an amazing bakery and of course a small 7-11 😊

Fantastic Chalet, in the middle of nowhere. Incredible views. Built into a hillside, lots of stairs, and different nooks and crannies. In credible vision to be able to develop a place like this. Ingenious. For an almost off-grid resort, 30 minutes from the city of Chang Mai, it would be a definate repeat for us. Magical mists, birds, cats, rainbows, and relaxation. Dont expect room service, they may not have everything on the menu, there is no front desk, but there are really cool frogs, snails, moths galore.

This chalet/resort offers a special experience in quiet part of Chiang Mai. Very personalized service by staff. Pre-check in confirmation, and ability to contact service team through Whatsapp are greatly appreciated. The in-house restaurant serves great food too. Would be a great place for couple retreat.

The room was very spacious and well-maintained. The plunge pool was clean and refreshing. The swimming pool has a gorgeous view and there were only a few other people around. It was nice to enjoy the high tea by the pool too. The breakfast was adequately varied and the food was well prepared and served. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Super serene location in the quieter part up the mountain of Hangdong. The air is fresh and it's peaceful and scenic. Staff are great. Very attentive, you really feel like a vip guest. At first glance you may feel the place looks slightly dated, which it may be, but it is generally well maintained. For two nights even in our plunge pool pavilion terrace, we had zero mosquitoe bites etc, with the exception of a scratching sound in the ceiling of our room but upon feedback, the staff managed to eradicate it. Highly recommend the in House massage and spa, the masseus is really good and the bed in the room is great, we got a really good rest on both nights The highlight of this place is its amazing view, from the pool, from your room. It was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is actually nicely filled! There were quite a few guests during our stay, but not too many to the point where you could thoroughly enjoy using the facilities

The infinite pool is great while there were only a few guests swimming at the same time. As such, it looks like it's your own pool. The restaurant where we might enjoy the beautiful view is a plus. We choosed the room type with mini pool, which is wonderful.

* Pool, the breakfast restaurant and views from the pool are the hotels forte. * Huge set up on vast hotel grounds, then again the rooms are all in a really large concrete appartment building but somehow it works with all the greenery. But activity centres around the pool, outside that there is not much soul to the place.

The villa is big and comes with a private pool. You can see the mountains from the master room. Overall, it's pretty clean. The staff is also very friendly and nice.

We had a fantastic stay at Mae Rim Grace. Mrs. Pen was incredibly friendly and arranged everything perfectly for us. We were picked up in Chiang Mai, and upon arrival, she showed us around the house, which is even more spectacular and spacious than in the photos. Our children loved the private pool and the breakfast was outstanding (you can choose whatever you want, and it’s prepared in the house). Mrs. Pen also arranged a tour for us to see the elephants (at a reputable place where they are well cared for) and the sticky waterfall. Overall, it was a delightful stay.

The villa is very beautiful! The breakfast was very nice as the team of chefs coming in and cooked according to how you like it. We enjoyed the pool very much, had a lot of fun just relaxing in the pool and the villa. The staff are very friendly and helpful! The villa is a bit far from the city centre, but we have hired a driver to bring us to different places, therefore location wasn’t a big issue for us. We could also easily get a taxi from Bolt or Grab. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again!

Very tranquil and private. Enjoy our chill time alone by the pool side / in the pool. Spacious and clean villa which my whole family have a great time in. All TVs are with Netflix programs and on the last day when it was pouring outside, we cozied up in the couch and watch TV.

When i was searching for a hotel for me and my mom. It's the one i knew i have to book when i saw it on one of the Youtube videos. So happy i found it on Hotels.com and booked it with breakfast included. This hotel is not big but every corner tired with nature. Everyone who is working there (front desk, driver, housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff) are very friendly. We have breakfast every day and some dinners in their restaurant. Food are fresh and yummy. If you need anything, just give them a call, they bring it to your room. I booked their full day car-rental with the driver. The service was very professional. Definitely my mom and i had a great time there.

1층의 프라이빗 풀이 포함된 객실을 이용함. 24시간 따뜻하게 수영을 할 수 있어 좋음. 친절하게 도움을 주려고 노력하는 직원, 특히 대학 어학원에서 한국어를 배운 여자직원분이 도와주심 ( 그랩으로 택시 4시간 대여를 하여 부아통 폭포를 가려 했으나 운전자가 그랩에 표시된 가격과 상관없이 훨씬 비싼 가격을 요구하여 호텔측에서 연결해 준 썽태우를 타고 다녀옴) 종류가 많지는 않지만 맛있는 조식 ( 처음에 음료와, 계란요리를 선택하여 제공해 주는데 계란요리를 인원 수 만큼 주문하면 배가 부르니 하나정도만 주문하여 나눠먹는게 좋음) 주변에 Des Cheveux 라고 태국여자분이 하는 미용실이 있음. 5마리 고양이와 2마리 개가 있어 동물을 좋아하는 사람이 가면 행복함. 처음에 사람보면 큰 개(foxy)가 컹컹 짖는데 좋아서 그런것임, 막상 안으로 들어가면 조용하게 안겨옴. 다시 오고 싶은 숙소.

Everything about our stay here was amazing. From the ambiance of our room, the cleanliness and space of the room, the staffs are so nice and attends to your needs right away, food from their restaurant tastes really good. Definitely recommend staying here if you want a quick get away from the city life. ❤️

Beautiful swimming pool but pool can't be used after 7pm which is a pity. During the day we are visiting the city surroundings and we like to swim when we are back. We rented scooters, with a company who brought the scooters at the hotel and picked them back up the last day. Nice town. lots of travel agency's to book daytrips and pick you up at the hotel. Laundry service was expensive, room service too. Bar open, but was pretty empty and closed after 9pm while we were there.

The room was large and spacious. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast choice was huge ranging from lots of Thai cooked meals, continental options, eggs cooked to order and fruit/yoghurt. The pool was nice but only about 10 sun loungers, which was never a problem as it was quiet during our stay. Only 1 of the 2 pools was open when we were there.

The staff is amazing, the location is more than beautiful. The room SLoft is huge and clean. The pool was very clean and even enlighten at 6 which was stunning The breakfast was very diverse and tasteful.

the room was lovely, all an open plan. the bathroom was big, super comfy beds. we stayed for 1 night before catching a flight to Phuket. Pool was great.

I like the natural feeling if the resort. The swim pool is like a river , a farm right onsite, which my room was facing to. I could hear the frogs and summer insects every night during my stay. Other room types with quieter facing available as well.

Every detail is thought of - from the beautiful patio overlooking trees, to the semi-outdoor shower, the plants, the provision of slippers etc. Pool was for once refreshing (in many other places in Thailand, due to the heat the water of pools can be very warm). Definitely a nice getaway from the business of Chiang Mai!

Beautiful design of buildings and room with lots of nice details like a few leaf imprints in the floors, nicely-shaped water bottles etc. A wonderful bathroom with one whole front of folding doors that allow you to stand right in the forest while taking your shower. Pretty planters and quirky pottery items, and even a tree house. Beautiful gardens with a stream, massive trees and flowers everywhere which must be an arduous task to keep at all times. Lovely swimming pool. Very clean throughout, friendly staff and tasty, generous breakfast.

A peaceful getaway resort that takes one hour by bike from Nimmanhaemin. I found this paradise a few weeks ago when I was looking for a tranquill retreat surrounded by nature. I loved it so much that I brought friends this time to enjoy the weekend. The staff are polite and attentive, and the garden and the swimming pool are beautiful, with so much greenery everywhere. Also, if you have a bike, I strongly recommend you bring your bike as driving around Mae Rim was the best riding experience.

Proud Phu Fah is like an oasis tucked away in the forest surrounded by greenery with some very cute local rabbits and ducks. If you’re a nature lover who wants to escape into a serene and peaceful environment with mountain views and the sound of light flowing rivers this place is perfect for you. To top it off there is a lovely pool and a little treehouse where you can enjoy your coffee. The staff are amazing and so are the hotel drivers.

It's my second time visiting here. Lovely environment, hidden in the jungle next to a spring. Quiet and peaceful for a family. Big playground and swimming pool with bunnies and ducks in the surrounding. The dinner is delicious.

We discovered this beautiful resort by chance when exploring various river neighbourhoods and stopping for lunch at the gorgeous Baan Suan restaurant. At first we thought it was a gallery... and indeed - Baan Suan has two gallery spaces with changing exhibitions during high season. But it is much more .. a slice of paradise , lush green surroundings, stylish rooms, beautiful architecture ... and above all, the most friendly and accomodating staff. So I stayed for 1 months, was looked after like family, ate many delicious meals, both at the Slip cafe and at the Thai restaurant, made excellent use of the beautiful pool, used the bicycle for trips to the village where my husband is cared for or took advantage of the free shuttle bus to wherever I wanted to go. The manager also kindly upgraded my room to a 1 bed villa, so I felt like a queen. I can highly recommend to those who appreciate beauty and serenity.

Hotel seemed understaffed. Included breakfast was excllent, however room service lunch/dinner was not very good. Location is 10 min from old town and out of the hustle and bustle - we appreciated the quiet. Not many restaurants close by. Rooms were clean and neat - a bit on the worn out and creaky side. Services were excellent - laundry, scooter rebtal, free bikes, great little pool and games for family etc. the garden on the river was beautiful. Excellent place for a low-key quiet getaway that is still close enough to town to access it as needed.

Single best hotel experience of my life. This magical oasis was a gem in Thailand. Expertly curated rooms felt like it was half bohemian art museum and half intimate bed and breakfast. The staff was delightful and went above and beyond to help. Amazing experience which I cannot recommend enough.

My husband and I found the four day stay so enjoyable it was hard to leave. The manager Pisit , chef Teddy and his wife Lita made our time special. The Executive one bedroom villa with pool was so beautiful. The water was a bit cool but after biking the country roads and hills with the resort's bycycles it was refreshing. Gardens are everywhere growing vegetables, herbs and trees. The open restaurant overlookssome of the terraced gardens. Breakfast was a la carte but every morning we started with capps, regular coffee, fresh fruit with yogurt, honey and almonds, granola and a choice of egg and salad or a vegetarian dish. Every morning there was a variety of homemade jams and bread. We needed to stay the four nights to try each dish on the lunch and dinner menus. We took a taxi into Chiang Mai one afternoon for the Sunday walking street market. It was 30 minutes...not a problem. Spa was very professional as well. Ready to return.

Great secluded spot to enjoy a beautiful private villa with friends. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Food was great, with creative dishes, congrats to the chef! Breakfast on Sunday ended earlier than on Saturday so there was no more buffet but a la carte menu still available so be aware of this. Pool is bit small but rooms are huge and bed comfy. Location is 20-30 min away from airport (350 baht for 2) and ~40 min to city. 7 eleven is 10 min away from hotel by cab that you can arrange from hotel.

Very relaxing stay, the room and pool were fantastic and they are running a great establishment we would go back in a heartbeat. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere with an organic garden to pick your food from and ducks on the property to get eggs. They even make their own bath products. Very eco friendly.

The one bedroom pool villa is fabulous. The room is very big and clean. I must stay in this resort again next time.

The resort is in a remote area and a car is a must but for that reason it was very peaceful and quiet. Bungalows were neat, nothing fancy but all we needed and the hot water was nicely hot with good water pressure. Breakfast buffet was good too. Most of the veggies were homegrown, there were large area with greener, tomatoes and they even friend strawberries. Pool was very small and needed to be cleaned but I guess that the guest coming to this resort is not looking for swimming exercise!

It's nestled in Maerim forest so the weather is nice and cooler than Chiangmai city. Specially the hotel restaurant excellent in Thai food. It's the best quality in Chiangmai city. Their response to guest was very quick and clear. I recommend the hotel to everyone who's willing to experience CHiangmai's hospitality!

This was an absolutely wonderful location and facility. The villa felt like we were part of the wilderness with a river running right outside our room. if you are looking for a luxury place this is not for you, but if you want a place that invites in nature then you will love it here. the staff are excellent and the food was great! I would stay here again when i come back.

Great resort for those who love nature, rooms are integrated in the natural surroundings. Everything is very green, nature-friendly, staff was very helpful with requests. We had an amazing experience staying here.

Everything abt the resort is awesome except that the water in our villa is too cold even with the heater on.

I stay in the pool villa where the room is spacious, clean and tidy. I like the design of the pool and the jacuzzi as well. I am satisfied with everything except two things. The first thing is related to the restaurant. There are only two restaurants in the hotel. One is for breakfast and lunch. Another one is for dinner. The taste of the food is not up to a five stars hotel standard. It is also a bit overpriced. With limited choice, we eventually go back to the city to have our dinner. The other negative side is that the wifi is not stable and weak. I cannot watch even a short video clip sent to me from my friend. In addition, there is a lot of mosquito in the open area. I understand that it is not the problem of the hotel. Yet it is very difficult to stay in the outside area to enjoy sun bath.

Das Hotel bzw die Anlage ist wunderschön. Abends brennen im Außenbereich Fakeln, der Infinty Pool bietet eine großartige Aussicht auf die Hügel und das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend wie überall in Thailand. Die Lage in den Hügeln bietet Ruhe, allerdings braucht man auch entsprechend lange in die Stadt. Das Hotel bietet drei kostenlose shuttle am Tag, ein Taxi kostet 500 Baht.

Nice people especially Lik from this hotel! Good food that value for money! Enjoy the stay here and would definitely come again! If more outdoor activities can be provided by the hotel, the longer business hour for the gym and swimming pool that would be better.

Service was lacking in the food and beverage department but the comfort, beauty and friendliness of the staff made up for this short fall. Would have been nice if the pools were heated.

This place is very nicely designed as a sort of eco-friendly resort that blends into the environment which is in the hills of Chiang Mai away from the bustling downtown. The rooms seemed like a time share resort a lot of storage cabinets and kitchen. However, there were no plates or utensils. The dining is exquisite but more expensive than local food courts. To save some money, we brought some meals back to the room from these food courts but also had to purchase some paper plates/utensils to eat it. There are golf courses nearby and a nice spa at the hotel. Since we had a 6 week old with us, we were just looking for a quiet place to get away and enjoy each other and our new baby. The night dining is outside and is designed with a glass roof way overhead to block the rain. It was very nice with no real mosquito problem while we ate. They have a shuttle service to take you anywhere on the grounds you want to go, which was nice when it was raining. The infinity pool has a great view. The breakfast buffet was delicious. They didn't offer bar soap for the sink to wash our hands but provided it once we requested. They did provide a "detergent" with the usual toiletries, although we weren't sure whether that was for washing clothes or what. It certainly wasn't to wash dishes! Wifi was horrible! All in all, this place was not a perfect fit for us at this time, but we did enjoy it and would recommend for people who want to get away totally from downtown and enjoy nature.

Gorgeous hotel, stunning pool/grounds. Our room was not ready by check in time, so they comped us a round of drinks! They also decorated our room for our wedding anniversary. We were told we would also receive a cake, but it never came. The plunge pool is awesome and the room was so comfortable. The only issue we encountered was some confusion over a happy hour. It was advertised to be a happy hour at the cafe. We went and ordered drinks at the cafe but they said there was no happy hour. Maybe a little more communication between the staff could be implemented. Otherwise an amazing stay!!

We reserved a room with a private plunge pool, but the filter was broken so we couldn’t use it The staff was great about apologizing - they have us a 2000 baht food credit and a bottle of champagne. Beautiful Thai style hotel. The rooms were immaculate and very spacious. We booked the plunge pool room and it was definitely worth it for a bit of privacy. The spa was lovely but it would have been nice to have the option of separate massages rather than just packages. It was a little out of the way but the shuttle service to the night market was great so we could eat outside of the hotel. The hotel restaurants were also quite good if you didn’t want to leave the premises. It was a really lovely experience and we would happily stay there again.

Words can’t describe how amazing Siripanna has been for my husband and I. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The spa is wonderful. The pool is amazing. The buffet is delicious. But what really sets Siripanna apart from other beautiful hotels is THE STAFF. I am sad to leave Siripanna because of the wonderful staff. They are so friendly and helpful and sweet. The 3 ladies at the front desk are always smiles and so helpful for us getting taxis. Yang at the pool bar is soooo nice and awesome, we loved going to see him everyday. The women in the spa were wonderful and so kind. The guy with braces who makes omelets at the breakfast buffet is so friendly (and makes delicious omelets.) the cleaning staff is so sweet. And the guy at the buffet (I can’t remember his name it was very long) but he is so so so awesome!! The people here, the atmosphere, this place is truly paradise. I would HIGHLY recommend. Thank you for making our honeymoon truly memorable!

Great property, amazing staff. Pool was closed the first couple days and the water wasn't clear (didnt end up using the pool). A little far from center of town, and hard to hail a taxi or tuk tuk. recommend a ride share app if staying here. Breakfast is good, many options. definitely recommend.

The on-site cafe is great with a very good cook, and the rooms are extremely clean. A fantastic place to stay and explore the local area or as a stop-off on the route from Chiang Mai to Pai.

We have traveled Thailand for over 5 years now back and forth from Australia. We had never got up as far as Chiang Mai and finally have. Our hotel around the corner from this rest we had booked for 8 days. We asked too check out earlier as there was so much construction going on and not the standards of service we would pay for $150 AUD per night. We just wanted one week off peace and too relax by a quiet pool. This hotel was perfect. Only small though wonderful staff, simple though nice breakfast. The dinners were very nice. We stayed in the royal Jacizzi suite. Was very spacious with little private patio . The Jacuzzi needs a good 2hrs too fill up though very relaxing. The shower could use a little bleach but I don't think any hotel ever does. We used thesis sage mat too put under the bed covers for more softness as beds very hard, some people might like too sleep on a rock and the over 300 channels not one was English. So borrow a DVD player off them. Most times we went too XCentre for odd meal and Ian the owner and locals company. The Botanical Gardens is a must too do. We are more market and drinkers though this was a great few ours. We enjoyed our stay here besides the odd uncomfortable sleep but the pool soon fixed that. If u travelling with family they have a beautiful residence up the back and ur own private pool. We will stay there in July when we come back with friends. I hope u enjoy your stay if u choose this resort.

We rented the three bedroom three bath villa with the private pool. The grounds that the hotel is on are beautiful. The gardener for the property does an amazing job. The staff doesn't speak much English but we were all able to communicate in other ways. There is a lot to do in Mae Rim, and the heart of Chiang Mai is only about 20-30 minutes away. The staff at Ruen Ariya will take you anywhere you would like to go and a tuk tuk ride back to the hotel is only about a $10 from Chiang Mai. I loved this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a little luxury at an affordable price. Even their in house massages are only about $15/ hour! I logged 3 hours worth in the 4 nights we were there.

We were lucky to stay at the guest house with our familly of 8 persons. A good quality of rooms and freindly staff helping us out great. We had a private swiming pool but also a nice central pool. The hotel provided us with a bus and chaufeur for transportation to the night market. May be one less positeve thing was that breakfast offered limited choice. The road from the hotel into the mountains offered plenty of amusement with monkey, crocodile and elephant shows botanic garden ald buggy racing.

Wir waren 2 Wo. dort und wohnten in der Villa mit Terrasse, umgeben von Regenwald und einen kleinen Bach vor dem Eingang! Den ganzen Tag konnten wir das Orchester von verschieden Vogelarten hören u. abends gaben die Frösche aus dem Gras ihre Rufe zum Besten! Sehr idyllisch und schön anzuhören! Die Familie hat abseits der Wohnflächen einen kleinen Zoo! Hier werden Truthähne, Hängebauchschweine, Schafe, Gänse, Pferd, Esel, Hühner, … 6 Hunde, Katze, Meerschweinchen, Hasen gehalten! Wir waren in der überwiegenden Zeit die einzigen Gäste! Lediglich zur Weihnachtszeit u. Silvester wurden die Apartments von thailänd. Gästen belegt! Die Familie war super freundlich und hilfsbereit! So fuhr der Schwiegersohn bei unserer Ankunft mit uns einkaufen und die Tochter als Inhaberin besorgte uns für den kommenden Tag 2 Mopeds für den gesamten Zeitraum! Sie bestellte uns zur Überraschung sogar dazugehörig 2 neue Helme zu unserer Sicherheit! Ihre Mutter bereitete uns nach den ersten Tagen zusätzlich zu unserem üblichen Frühstück entweder bunte Salate oder Obstteller zu! In der Mitte des Anwesen ist ein Pool mit Sonnenliegen! Dieser kann sowohl zur Abkühlung als auch zum Schwimmen kürzerer Strecken benutzt werden! Das Pool-Wasser wird in regelmäßigen Abständen von einer Fachkraft geprüft und sauber gehalten! Der Innenbereich der Unterkunft ist jedoch renovierungsbedürftig!

If you want to get away from the busy city of Chiang Mai for a quite relaxation, and a nice outdoor pool where it's not crowded, this is the place. Here, you can't walk out of the resort to shop or walk around as there is nothing nearby. But if you've done that already for several days in Chiang Mai, and you want some time to relax and go on day excursions to trek in Mae Rim, visit Tiger Kingdom, Elephant sanctuary, Elephant PooPoo Paper co., this is a great hub. One thing I did find was that the staff are not necessarily extensive in their knowledge about the different excursion companies (as they do not push you to purchase trips from certain company), you need to have some idea of what you want to do. Better yet, shop around for excursions in Chiang Mai before you go to the hotel so you can ask the hotel to book it for you when you get there. Wifi is weak in the room, but strong in the dining, pool and common area.

The villa is spacious and maintained to a high standard. It was cleaned on a daily basis during our stay. The sitting room is comfortable and large enough for 8 persons. The dining room and open kitchen are likewise clean, large and user-friendly. There is a barbecue stove near the swimming pool and we enjoyed a wonderful evening of pool-side barbecue. The host, Mr Pollapat Kantaputra and his wife are nice, very friendly and extremely helpful. We had had our breakfast in the hotel next to the villa. It is very convenient and the food was also good.

Best location for shopping, restaurants, bars massage stores and club. Big Villa , beautiful swiming pool, KTV, quality aircon, lots of free snacks, good service. The property manager Nina took care of us very well. Helped us finding fun things to do, booked tours, prepared food for our picky kids. It was like staying at our home. Such a wonderful holiday for us.

Very helpful staff. Special thanks to Nina for her support and hospitality. The villa very clean and was topped up with water and snacks everyday. The pool very nice. Strongly recommend it for families.

This property was amazing! My family and I needed a last minute booking and couldn't have found a better place to accommodate us. We had such a great time and everything was clean! Our host was extremely friendly and knowledgeable with great tips for things to do around Chiang Mai and can even set you up with transportation services. She was communicative and gave us a great tour of the property making sure to cover all basis. We were in a neighborhood wi the the locals and felt super safe. The breakfast and location were great and such a nice touch to an already amazing stay. We are definitely going to be back and have told all friends and family back home in the states about this amazing place! Can't wait to be back :)

We had a wonderful stay in Chiang Mai at the Villa Rajapruek. We didn’t expected this villa has 3 houses in that area and there are 2 rooms and 2 bedrooms in each house. So we were quite surprised on the day we arrived. Within 20mins by car to the old town and main streets. Also, the host provided a very good service and the host is definitely helpful. We were very satisfied by the homemade breakfast everyday during our stay. We will go back to this villa with no doubt.

Our family of 12 (4 kids!) had a wonderful time in the villa . Khun Nok the owner and manager is extremely attentive and a wonderful cook. The rooms are comfortable and the space is perfect for the kids to run around . Khun Nok even helped us with our laundry so that’s a great plus! Perhaps the only (small)thing that can be improved is that it would be better if shower water level can be stronger and the shower hose longer (much easier to shower kids with)

We loved everything about this place. It was super clean and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Khun Nok was absolutely wonderful, super helpful, and her breakfast was delicious. Our stay here exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend this place to others.

The property was very well prep and clean. Everything was very organised and you indeed get lots of free coffee, tea and noodles in the pantry! Staff was super friendly and approachable and was able to arrange my tour properly for me too. Very knowledgable staffs.

Such a beautiful place with stunning views of the mountains. We stayed in one of the bubble rooms and the bathtub was amazing. The staff were so accomodating and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything. The shower was also really good (one of the best we had in Thailand). It’s a great location for exploring Chiang Dao. They offer a dinner service as well which is fairly priced and tasted great. No need to stress if you arrive late in the day and are hungry.

We stayed during smoky season so we missed out on the views, but we imagined them and it was gorgeous 😉 The dome is super cozy and has a lot of space for 2 people inside. The outdoor area and bath were so nice to hangout in and the staff was exceptional!!! Very friendly with delicious breakfast! We will come again outside of smoky season

I love the forest location. It was very peaceful and is perfect for quiet couples.

Great location in the old town, walking distance to bars, restaurants, temples and shops. Superb room, excellent size with pool access. Loved it.

The breakfast had a huge variety and was delicious and in the lovely setting on the deck overlooking the fishpond. The pool was clean and nice with lovely relaxing seating and a small poolside bar. The room (pool access) was large and amazing, the nicest we had in our Northern Thailand stay, though there was a horrible overpowering musty smell (not sure if this was due to the recent flooding in Chiang Mai?) We didn't complain as were only there for 1 night.

We had our first visit here in 2019, only 3 years after it had been built, so it was very new and beautiful. The experience was heightened by very attentive staff. So much so we longed to go back. Six years later, we have just spent over a week here, and although it is still lovely, it feels a tad unloved compared to before. This might be due to time and age. The bicycles they had to offer guests to use for free were so lovely back in 2019, but they no longer offer these. Nor is the room service menu visible as the restaurant is now only open for breakfast The restaurant breakfast is still hearty, but much like the rest of Chiang mai, now heavily featires pork. Although this might be welcome for Chinese visitors, not so great for Muslim guests.There seems to be either a pork day or a chicken day. The chicken days are full of exciting things to try for breakfast. The range of other breakfast items is really good and there are two coffee machines, one which offers hot milk too. Our executive room with pool access was lovely, and probably the best rooms to go for are the ones away further away from the breakfast area. All in all a lovely 4 star hotel, well situated at the corner of the walled city so easy to walk to the Wua Lai walking street market open every night. The restuarant Lookbua is a gem for authentic food prepared with love, and very close by too.

The hotel is beautiful, with ornate design and decor. Rooms are spacious with ornate carved polished wood furniture and bathrooms with a spa bath. The pool area is gorgeous to relax around and as others have said, this feels like a lavish oasis whilst in a busy city. The staff were all fabulous and breakfast consisted of a wonderful array of Thai food, continental pastries,yoghurt, fruits, cereals and an egg station. Something for everyone! The delight of this is that each morning it slightly changes providing a great opportunity to try different Thai foods. Overall we had a beautiful stay in this gorgeous and comfortable hotel. I chose the Executive suite that opens directly out to the pool area and the hotel kindly provided an extra bed as there were three of us. On checking out we had several hours before catching the overnight train to Bangkok, the hotel had a luggage room for us to store our luggage and we were able to continue to enjoy the pool area with toilet and shower before we left. For us, everything was perfect ❤️🙏🏻❤️

Its a chic modern hotel. We had a spacious triple room, a giant TV, great bathroom with walk in shower duperb air-con and a balcony. The staff are dedicated, super friendly and a charming bunch of youngsters whom will help with whatever you need. The breakfast is cooked on the premises (partly) and amazing mix of Thai and western. Abundant choice for such small hotel. Very tasty too! They recycle bottles, that they refill, so you can have unlimited, juice, coffee (amazing coffee it is) water all day long, and fresh fruit. We even got ice-cream when were by the pool. The pool was 24c and perfect for cooling done after a hot day of sightseeing. Its an Adult only hotel and i was there with two of my young adult kids. We absolutely loved the place. If you visit Chiang Mai BED is the hotel to book!

The staff were superb and couldn’t be more helpful. The location was perfect. The pool was small but complimentary shuttle took us to sister hotel which had a fab pool. We loved everything about our stay at BED - it completely exceeded our expectations! I traveled with a group of 9, and we were able to fit comfortably in 4 rooms that were all close to each other. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. The location is amazing - right inside the Old City and within walking distance to many temples, restaurants, and shops. BED has a very convenient and affordable laundry service that we utilized on our last day as well. The breakfast was freshly made daily from a rotating menu, so we were able to try all kinds of traditional Thai fixings. We also had a friend celebrate a birthday during our stay, and the staff surprised her with a cake and candles to her door - a memory none of us will forget! Breakfast - The selection was very basic but they do service this thick toast sandwich if you're room comes with breakfast. Highly recommended to try it. Staff- We very helpful in providing information and assisting us with our luggage. Surrounding - There were a lot of small local cafes/spas/laundry. Just next door, there's a Bamboo Hut accommodation the reception does tours for tourist, we booked our Zipline activitiy there, the lady who assisted us were super friendly. She even gave us information on what's happening today/tomorrow and we took her suggestion. We even checked out those cute Bamboo Huts, it's really raw and basic stay suitable for solo backpackers traveler. Do check it out!

We stayed here during a four day stay in Chiang Mai. The location of this hotel was excellent with many amenities being within walking distance, including the night market. During our stay we were able to walk everywhere with ease. The property was clean and well kept. There was a coffee maker in the lobby which guests could help themselves to at any time. The hotel also has a cute little porch out front which was a nice touch and a lovely spot to sit with a morning coffee or while waiting for rides. The pool is small with very limited seating so this is not the place to plan on being able to have a full pool day at. Would absolutely recommend and stay at this location again.

Clean and comfortable, close to restaurants and massage salons. The pool is small but good for a quick dip to cool off, we didn’t visit chiang mai to relax by a pool so was fine for us. Variety of sandwiches available for breakfast - egg bacon ham etc, and fruit and cereal.

I stayed in two different room types one on the ground floor and one on the second floor. I enjoyed both rooms . The terraces and balconies as well as the pool area created a really nice atmosphere. There were nice loungers around the pool to relax. The rooms had everything you needed but basic. The hotel is excellent value and if youre sightseeing and just want somewhere that you can hang out by the pool later in the day then this is a great place to stay. Despite the comments about what I didn’t like, I really would recommend this property as it’s a great location for a base for sightseeing. The sripat property across the road is highly recommended on blogs and Looney planet but actually I think the BB mantra is better. There was a great juice bar just down the road for smoothies or breakfast and a lovely pizza place at the end of the road too so there are some nice options nearby. I found the lady on the front desk to be super super friendly and helpful.

very good location in the middle of the city. nice rooms. not very big, but big enough and with an effective air condition. the beds also comfortable. we had a room with a quite private pool with comfortable temperature and not too much chlorine. the staff is very helpful and always smiling. can definitely recommend and would like to come back here sometime. also a big plus with 24-hours use of room with check out whenever you like. it was very nice for us, taking a train to Bangkok from Chiang mai at 6 pm that we could use our room until 5pm.

Many key sightseeing points, good quality restaurants, services are within a stone throw. Direct pool access from your doorstep helps entertain the kids all day and keep parents worry-free. Staffs are kinds, friendly, relaxed, attentive to our specific needs. My pre check-in requests were arranged without remainders (unlike many other hotels)

The public spaces are partially open to the outside and therefore you can feel the outside temperature and wind. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and cozy. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. During our time the pool was under renovation but they arranged to use the pool of a nearby hotel and even a larger pool from again another hotel including the transport by taxi. Super. Breakfast is good with enough choices for both western and asian food.

The location of this property is brilliant! Walking distance to lots of shops, temples and food establishments. Felt completely safe walking around as a solo female traveller because there were people around the streets on an evening in particular. Pool was a lovely treat and also I had a pool view which was lovely and a balcony. Breakfast was nice and plenty of options. Staff lovely too.

First, I never write reviews. But for Baan Sang Singh, I can't pass without expressing how much we enjoyed staying at this property! If you have a child, staying in a pool access room is a game changer! My boy, an 8-year-old, loved swimming, and he had direct access to the pool. We just stayed in the room or the seating area right outside of our room. The spacious room had all the right amenities; my boy loved his bunk bed. Complementary, morning toast, and coffee were perfect for us. As for location-wise, it was also ideal for us since it was only 5 mins to Chiang Mai Gate and 10 mins to Tha Phae Gate, the night bazaar was 10-15 mins, Saturday market was 5 mins. We only took a tuk-tuk a couple of times at night after a long day from the night bazaar for 100 - 150 baht. Plenty of good, cheap local restaurants are nearby. Also, Ann and her staff were the best!! We’ll definitely stay again next time we visit Chiang Mai!!!

We stayed here as a family of four - including two teenagers - and we had a wonderful 6 night stay! Our room with 2 double beds was plenty spacious for the 4 of us, as it included a separate seating area with a couch and T.V. as well. Water and biscuits are replenished daily and the hotel is kept very clean. The pool and poolside area are also kept very clean, and nice to come back to at the end of the day! The location is perfect - far enough from the main roads but close enough that it’s within walking distance to the Old City and the Night Market. Breakfast is standard - eggs, fruit, cereal, waffles, pastries and a couple of warmed Thai dishes. It’s definitely a family oriented hotel, so if you’re looking for a quiet pool with no kids then it may not be for you. The owner and all the staff are very pleasant and helpful. It's also nice that they have a free shuttle to the Night Market for those rainy days... I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit Chiang Mai!

Everything about my stay at Sang Singh was great! My room was well appointed and immaculately clean. Nice view of the swimming pool below. I loved the pool - long enough to do some lengths and in the heat of the day some of the pool is in the shade. The hotel has various items on sale - ice creams, wide variety of drinks and some dry goods - just grab and pay at reception. There is no breakfast although you can help yourself to coffee from 7am and make some toast (jam, peanut butter, nuttella supplied). Within 100m of the hotel are a few very good restaurants - offering thai and western meals at excellent prices.

I had a nice, large, well-equipped room with light from two sights and pool view (all rooms have pool view). Everything is modern and the pool and joint outdoor area in the courtyard are very good. The staff was competent and friendly. It's quiet at night (and during daytime).

Wow, what an incredible place. As soon as you step foot inside the grounds of this property, you feel totally relaxed. It is a stunning, peaceful oasis, but close enough to be able to walk to downtown Chiang Mai. We loved our beautiful rooms and had amazing sleep, and especially loved the large balcony. We had a connecting room via balcony with our kids, and we all said this was the most restful sleep we had on our whole trip! The breakfast was wonderful, and we really loved the pool, too! We wished we could have stayed longer than just two nights, but we'll never forget the piano music drifting through the air in the evenings and the quiet mornings looking out over the grounds from our balcony with coffee. Their staff go above and beyond and organized everything for us so that we could truly just let go and experience our vacation, it was seamless!

As we arrived at 137 Pillars after our 15 minute ride from the airport, we were greater by lavender tea in their open air lobby. We were assigned a butler who we could contact 24/7 for any of our hotel needs. We spent the afternoon lounging by the beautiful pool and live wall. The staff were some of the friendliest who served us in Thailand. Our room was impeccably clean. We received complimentary water, robes, sandals, and bath salts. The morning breakfasts were the best we had in Thailand. We spent one afternoon getting traditional thai massages at their spa. Dinner's at 137 pillars were excellent as well. Pui was our personal butler and she was outstanding. We still text her occasionally to se how she is doing. My wife cried when we left.

This is a must-visit hotel. While Chiang Mai was underwhelming (given its grand reputation), I'd return just to visit this absolute gem. The "137 Pillars" house is immaculately refurbished - a showcase of its darkwood elegance and an antique collection, while draped in the latest lush fabrics. Flowers and art are at every turn of the tropical garden around the house. The long, cool pool is super satisfying after a hot day in town, though its deck is a bit cramped. The spacious rooms are all relatively new but do not disappoint - chic Asian style at its best - especially the grand bathrooms and large outdoor showers. Oh, also loved the museum under the house. And the manager was fabulously friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful hotel with a great pool for relaxing. The room had a slight musty smell, but that seemed normal for Thailand. The room was clean and decorated nicely. Amazing outdoor shower. Pond, the valet, was really nice, helpful and engaging. One girl at the front desk was a little snobby; the other people at the front desk were great. Our friends in Chiang Mai went to inspect the hotel, before we arrived. They did not want us to stay here because of the rude front desk. I'm sure it was the snobby girl. We stayed at 137 Pillars because of the location, and we would stay there again.

Celebrated my birthday by staying one night at their Kraam Pool Suite. There was small complimentary cake which was enough to warm my heart. New, the front desk staff was kind and attentive. She introduced us to our suite diligently and always have a smile on her face. I love our suite, but for the pool it was not possible to use at night as there are a lot of bugs (or if you don't mind, just jump in! The pool suite is located at ground floor and everyone will be passing by if they are going to the main pool or breakfast. It is a bit lack of privacy to me. Overall, the room is well maintained and beautifully decorated. I love the breakfast. It was tasty and the presentation was pretty. The hotel is about the nature and the architecture. If you are here just try to immerse yourself in nature. Another thing to add is they have a tiny gym. No weight machine and only a few treadmill machines and dumbbells. For someone who needs to workout everyday I would think twice if to go back to stay again. Overall I think I would come back again for their other suite but probably not pool suite. The main pool is beautiful enough for you to take pics and for a quick swim.

Beautiful hotel which provided a unique experience. Greeted by the friendly staffs upon arrival and a big thank you to May which is kind enough to show us around. We booked the suite with private swimming pool and we immediately fall in love with it. The downside is people can peek through the bushes and fence when walk pass it. The staff here were amazing! The breakfast every morning was so delicious and they had a good variety to choose from. I really like the unlimited glass water bottles and the coffee that was available throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. AC unit and a shower with good running hot water. We had a perfect stay.

This property is a new property and the staff is absolutely amazing. We travel very frequently and this is one property that will stand out among other properties. You will not be disappointed. We are travelling throughout Thailand and this has been one of the best we have stayed at so far.

We booked 2 pool access rooms (2 couples). Arrived really early thinking we’d have to dump our bags and wait for check in time. Lady on the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. As it was quiet we were able to get in to our rooms immediately. Absolutely beautiful, authentic and really clean. Bathrooms are a decent size. Everyone on site very polite and friendly. Nothing not to like about this place and we’ll be coming back to stay in June. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. ❤️

We stayed 7 nites and were extremely pleased with the resort, service and central location. Staff speak English, friendly and very accommodating. Property is well cared for. Two infinity pools, one shaded and the second receives sun for most of the morning. The room was a good size, decorated in tasteful Thai style. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, a rainfall head, and a tub for soaking. The room was immaculately clean. When we checked in we were given a 2nd floor pool view room. At our request, we were easily re-accommodated in a poolside room with the pool right outside our terrace! Daily breakfast buffet featured Asian and American selections, to dine in the open-air patio overlooking a large lily pond & garden. Wifi worked ok, and mgmt did their best to have the weak signal in the room adjusted. We booked a few excursions with front desk staff who were helpful with their knowledge of the tours. They made the calls and confirmed reservations and pick-up time quickly and efficiently. Outside the hotel are tuk tuk drivers and taxi guys altho we walked easily everywhere. The Sunday nite market was a 10 minute walk & the nite market about 15. Plenty of restaurants and pubs everywhere. We hired the hotel car to take us to the airport for 200B ...driver was pleasant and helpful. We can't say enough about Viang Thapae & their staff! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The resort is a relaxing space with a beautiful garden, hidden from the road. TOP TIP: book a Deluxe room as it is FAR better than the standard one + has seprate terrace facing a swimming room which is a separate pool from the one destined for standard room users! + Deluxe room is a delight, quiet, has a sunny pool next to it and the bedding is great Staff is friendly Location is vv good:10 min walk to old city - Standard room feels "tired", bedding is old Can be very noisy if there are guest kids somewhere close All of the rooms are very xlose to swimming pool and the drops are dropping ALL thr time, can be nerve-wrecking if you do't close the room door ; ) I would recommend the hotel, best I have seen in Chiang Mai BUT! book a deluxe room - so much better, as I stayed in both room types.

Nice clean hotel with good sized room. It was great to have a nice pool to cool off in the afternoon after seeing the sites. The room was clean and the hotel offered the choice of not having the cleaning staff in every day. As a single person in the room I did not need the room cleaned every day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near a main road in the old town and a good place for pick up for day tours. It is close to restaurants and easy walking to several tourist sites.

Location, location, location! This humble little hotel is quietly tucked away but so close to many 'attractions' There is a lovely little Courtyard and the pool area is like a park The the staff provided wonderful customer service.

This property was absolutely amazing! The staff go above and beyond to treat you with the utmost respect. Perfect location too, 10 minutes from airport. The breakfast offered daily is such an elevated experience. Food is made to order eggs benedict, french toast, ramen and others are all options. Not one single complaint about the food or the drinks. The bartender is an absolute master of his craft. The room was amazing the nightly gifts were thoughtful. I just absolutely love this place. We will be back!

From the lychee welcome drink to the bottle of water when we left the experience was memorable. Breakfast was opulent and non stop if you continued to order. We met the head chef and he was into diverse foods. Wonderful stay. We already referred Two families even before we left.

We had a great stay in July 2024. Service was outstanding and very personalized. Really liked the boutique feel. Breakfast was delicious. The staff upgraded us to a junior suite and the drinks in the refrigerator were all free. We will definitely come back next time.

Sri Pat guesthouse is a little gem in Old Town. Very clean, quiet and in great location. We stayed 4-8th March 2018 Beautiful small clean pool area and lovely breakfast area. Breakfast from 8am. Very helpful family staff with English speaking daughter and son. We had room 204. We called ahead on day and arrived at midnight. There is overnight person and this was no problem. Shower was hot even at midnight. Double 6ft wide walk in good pressure shower. Plug in sink. Bathroom are very clean not flashy but hot water at any time plus hairdryer. Wardrobe with free safe (300THB key deposit) Huge superking in Standard Double room 204 Expedia was cheaper at £30 per night x 4 than 1550 THB per night on desk. Breakfast is extra but so cheap £5 you dont mind. Open air Pool is cool, clean and open til 10pm. So nice to have in 37 degree heat. Air con in our room 204 cooled rather than chilled and we asked them to regas for next guests. Overall we loved our 4 night stay at Sri-Pat. Excellent and would stay again and would highly recommend. Note. No lift and theres about 20 rooms.

Great part of the old city and very close to main road. The area is dotted with countless nice little cafes, even with so many closed. I loved the real wood floors and folding wood patio doors. Balconies are small, especially for two, but very peaceful, at least until the throngs come back. The pool and poolside are tiny -- not recommended for serious tanners.

Very nice hotel with wonderful staff will cater to your needs. Pool is easily accessible and clean. Breakfast was priced right and just enough to get you started. Rooms and pool pics on Expedia are a little smaller than reality but does not take away from the room. We had a lovely stay.

This is a cute hotel located in the old city near the northeast corner . The location is perfect for doing anything in the old city ie visiting temples, going to the bar area, cheap street food , night market, and more. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with all of our questions . The room Itself was simple and clean with a small balcony , mini fridge and electric kettle with coffee and tea. The lobby and pool area are very unique and beautiful with a nice garden throughout . Breakfast was also nice and very convenient with excellent coffee . Down the street is an amazing falafel spot called falafelist . Highly recommend it was delicious . I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget or not . Glad we stayed here

This is a great budget hotel tucked down a mellow street with many other guest houses. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and tons of taxis if you need one. The staff was super helpful and if you book a tour through them they'll give you a great deal. The pool was refreshing but a little over chlorinated. It burned my eyes every time I dunked my head! They have a security guard that watches the door all night. The bathroom was very nice. I would definitely come stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at CHINO at Nimman Luxury Boutique Hotel. The facility is beautiful, new, and they have a lot of fantastic amenities for being a boutique hotel. The beds and sheets are the nicest I've ever slept on. The staff is very professional and nice. The hotel itself is quiet and peaceful while being walkable to anything you could want in the city.

Perfectly clean, new condition, extremely helpful and polite staff. The bed made it hard to get up in the morning because it was so comfortable.

Staffs were very friendly, breakfast and dining options were amazing with variety of choices. The property atmosphere was spectacular. Overall experience was amazing.

We were among the first guests to stay at this brand new hotel as we arrived on its opening day. That being said, parts of the hotel were not yet completed, there was still some construction going on, so we didn't get the full experience, but the staff certainly did their best to make our stay extremely memorable. The hotel has a beautiful tucked away setting on the side of the Ping River. It is not in the hottest parts of town which makes it a nice, quiet sanctuary, but it is quite easy and convenient to get anywhere. The Michelin Star restaurant Oxygen was delightful. Of course, the food was excellent but it is really the staff that make it worth it. Dinner in the best restaurant in the world can be ruined if the staff and service are disappointing. The team here was friendly and attentive and really made us feel welcome (despite having to work 16 hours a day). Overall, the hotel itself is without any fault but the staff are what makes it really shine. From the welcome, to housekeeping, to the pool bar, to the concierge, bell team and front desk team, to the same Oxygen staff that greet you for breakfast in the morning and serve you dinner before bidding you good night, to Ewan, the hotel manager who asks you about your day every day, this team is the best in the world and I have never felt more welcome.

Place is extraordinary. The red delight is a delight for sure. Pick up and staff fantastic from first experience. Breakfast, pool and gym great. Room huge and with everything we needed for a chill away from home. The staff, led by Ewan, was fantastic and helpful. And he personally makes the effort to come and engage with guests over breakfast. We had three days of good steers from him on where to go and three great days out on the back of that advice. Don’t miss the trip to Doi Inthanon. Really good. And do the walk. Our one moderate experience was with the restaurant on our last night. It was super expensive and whilst the food was obviously prepared with a degree of skill and care, it was all a bit same-y and non-wow. Michelin starred restaurant should have been better. We had the most comprehensive 3,500B tasting menu and it was, well, ordinary. And I spoke to the chef the previous night and told him we were coming and he promised to look after us. Usually chef comes out and engages but not this one. I think it was left to a number 2 and it was his night off after the big party of French guys the previous evening. So I’m summary, will definitely come back to the hotel, restaurant will have to do better, which is a pity as the setting and potential is extraordinary.

Every detail was thoughtfully curated to make us feel special.The breakfast selection was great, combining a succinct buffet with an à la carte menu, while the rooms boasted cleanliness, spacious bathrooms, and generous amenities replenished nightly. The rooftop swimming pool offered breathtaking views of the picturesque town and distant mountains, along with a nightly shuttle service to the vibrant night bazaar.With outstanding service that truly exceeded our expectations, this hotel is highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and memorable stay in Chiang Mai. If you value comfort and relaxation, look no further!

The overall tranquillity and well-kept nature of the resort is amazing. The location is great, along the river, and our rooms were quiet. We had 2 rooms which were both quite dark and compact, with big bathrooms and a beautiful outdoor terrace. Unfortunately both rooms had a bad smell the whole 3 days we stayed, bathroom drainage or air conditioning maybe. There was a dehumidifier in the room, as well as many pots of damp rid scattered around the room, but neither of these things helped. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful, able to understand our requests. Shuttle to the night markets was helpful. We had an amazing breakfast every morning, the buffet options and menu items are extensive with something for everyone. As part of our package we enjoyed a high tea which was delicious and beautifully presented. The rooftop pool is lovely, and gym well equipped. Both were not busy while we were there.

The hotel is located just on the other side of the bridge in a quiet environment full of greenery, about thirty minutes walk from the old town. A warm welcome, impeccable service, immaculate cleanliness and tasty, diverse cuisine. The Cross Chiang May is also the starting point for daily attractions. The rooms are spacious and quiet and the rooftop swimming pool is very pleasant through the trees.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The setting is beautiful, as are the spacious rooms. The pool area was gorgeous, however, could've done with a rail and better non-slip tiling. Ate twice in the Thai restairant- excellent food. Breakfast in Creek cafe was plentiful and super selection. All staff were friendly and very professional. I would definitely stay again!

Great hotel with very pleasant and friendly staff, pool villas are amazing, hotel restaurant needs a better menu variety and better quality food for this standard of hotel, the only issue I had wasnt to do with hotel directly but the smoke and bugs noise during summer season March-May was very bad.

Property was beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms were clean and beddings spot on and comfortable. The shower tiles were a little mildewy. Cud have been cleaned better. Funky smell in the bathroom Mayb coming from the drain. Rain shower didn’t work, tho the regular shower worked fine. We did ask the front desk to send someone to fix it but still didn’t work when we arrived back to our room. We stayed 2 nights so it wasn’t such a big issue. Breakfast was decent. Location was quite far towards the mountain area. 15min to get to the main city road and then another 15-20 to get into the city area. If u r looking for a quite tranquil stay and plan for just an R&R then this wud b a place to stay. We wud recommend this place and go back there if the price is right. If u plan to do a lot of touristy things then plan to stay closer to the city unless u don’t mind the drive. A car is a must if u plan to stay here or u can spend using grab taxi which will cost u.

It's a very beautiful place to stay. Lots of flowers and flow of water. It takes hard work to maintain it and the staff did a great job. Breakfast was just above average, as I considered good enough.

I booked this hotel for my daughter very last minute, who was travelling solo. she had been in hospital for a few days and wanted somewhere she could recover in luxury. She cried when she arrived, it was so beautiful and she was very happy. There was an issue with her bath plug and she couldn't fill the bath but one word to reception team and the General Manager was on it right away and arranged an upgrade for her with a big bath. He listened to her needs and understood how important the recuperation time was spent with them. Coming from a hospitality background in 5 star hotels for over 20 years, we understand that sometimes things don't go to plan and once made aware, then the difference between a good hotel and an exceptional hotel is down to the staff and how they handle any issues. you give a hotel the opportunity to right a wrong and then they can show their true colours. The GM at this beautiful hotel did just that and more and I will be eternally grateful for looking after my daughter in my absense. My daughter loved the location, super comfortable bed, friendly staff and pool and hydrotherapy pool were excellent. She did not want to leave and her wonderful surrounding aided to her speedy recovery and she left feeling so great and ready for next leg of her travels. Thank you for all your generosity in spirit.

Just finished a great stay at Rarinjinda. What a great find. Beautiful wellness hotel with seperate hydrotherapy pool with 8 massage station. It was highlight of my stay. Beautiful grounds and old teak house made the stay pleasant. Staff were excellent from reception to the lovely fellow at the gatehouse whom helped to ensure you crossed the road to breakfast each day. Breakfast although small buffet was organic and avocado eggs a treat overlooking river life . Best coffee also. Small boutique hotel. Beautiful rooms with bath . 202 was perfectly situated overlooking pool . The hotel has feee shuttle to a different market each night . Cannot wait to return

This is the the place to stay in Chang Mai. The hotel is brand new, the rooms are spacious and the pool area is an oasis of calm in a bustling city. Jackie the manageress and her staff will do anything to make your stay a very pleasant one. All the plants make the Warehouse hotel a wonderful green place with plenty of birds and wildlife flitting around. My room 104 is just by the pool which is one of the few salt water swimming pools in Chiang Mai. Plenty of sunbeds for hotel guests as well as shady places to sit out of the sun if that's your thing.

The hotel building is a bit old but has an appealing artistic feel, and is very convenient to walk to the old town. The pool is nice. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff can use more carefulness though for the details in the room and the pool in the evening.

We had a very nice stay. The room and the bed is good and the pool too. We mainly choose the place as we wanted a cheap place with a good pool for relaxation + it is close to old town

The hotel was pretty good. I would say that it is more on the lines of a 3 star because of the location. The corner room had great sun light but the view was dirty. The break fast was your typical Thai American breakfast spread to try to pleas all. There are no taxis near this location or motor bikes or tutt tutt. The hotel has a shuttle but I am not sure what for. I think it’s only for airport transport. There are no resturants that are worth eating near by. There is a golds gym. The compound has a gym over looking the what they call a pool. The pool is not really designed for swimming just really for suiting in the water so the room with pool access is a waste of money. If you are going to stay here I recommend a car to get around. I would however stay there again because it’s very clean and looks like the pictures on line.

This place is pristine, spent nearly a week and not one thing was out of place or needing repairs. The towels smell great! The AC is fast and COLD. The beds are actually soft! The staff is super friendly (almost too friendly). Breakfast was good, wide selection of foods. Staff could be a little more fluent in English, but for Chiang Mai, its definitely better the most. Due to the building / pool placement, only sun between 11:00-3:00 (month of Feb). 4.5/5. WILL return in the future! P.S. rent a scooter, too far to walk to night life on a daily basis

Hotel is new, clean and well kitted out rooms. The pools are not huge but fantastic, the gym is also new with everything you need. It is possibly the best hotel I have stayed in within Thailand and alot better than alot of 4 star plus hotels in Europe. Breakfast selection was good. Its a little out from the old town so expect a tuktuk or taxi. Not really walkable as no footpath along the direct route.

Beautiful facilities, clean large rooms, very comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The pools are nice but water was freezing. A bit far outside of the main town, not really walking distance but you can take the shuttle or a taxi. Would stay again.

Great hotel, clean, nice service, great bed, clean shower, great lobby, a small gym and 3 pools. The hotel and the region was that nice that I decided to stay one night extra.

Beautifully manicured gardens. The lagoon pool was magnificent with the swim up bar, water features and sun baking islands. our room was poolside so perfect for a quick dip and shower off.

Loved the style of this hotel. We really liked our Room and bathroom. We had a swim up pool room and that was really cool. Food in the restaurant was great.

We chose this hotel as it appeared very modern but close to the bus station. Both of these were true with it being a short 15 minute walk from bus station and hotel being very modern with pool and gym. It's further from old town with this being a 40 minute walk but can't imagine taxinor tuk tuk would be that expensive.

We really enjoyed our stay in Chiang Mai. Honestly, I felt disappointed with the lack of amenities, because I had just spent a week in Bangkok at a super luxurious hotel. So, when I could not even get access to use a microwave oven, it was a big let down. The staff set up several tours for my Wife and I and they were mostly very nice. I was annoyed on the rare occasion that we asked the hotel shuttle to drop us off somewhere, and they said that "it was too far", or gave some other excuse. On our final day, we had a taxi waiting to take us to the airport, but we could not leave until the man from the front desk inspected our room. I have never experienced that before. Heck, they have my Amex Gold Card number, they could easily bill me for whaterver they think that I had stolen.

The hotel decoration is very clean and comfortable feel. The room is big and very clean. Location is good and easy to find. Value price. The only thing which was disappointed - there was pipe smell in the toilet. Guess the room was not used during Covid.

What a beautiful resort set in a rainforest. It is so relaxing to be surrounded by nature. At night the sounds of the frogs etc is amazing. The pool is very cold but amazing still. The staff were all very polite, friendly and very helpful. The location is far out of the city, but there are several shuttles each day, which we made use of. They also took us to restaurants nearby (Khaomao-Khaofang which is like a rainforest and also the carp cafe, both of which I can also recommend). We stayed in two different rooms, the damily room and pool access room, which were both super roomy and lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I like the location! It was a bit far from the old city, but we did not mind. With taxi you could reach the city within 20min. We like the greenery and great landscape around the room. We felt we were in a jungle. The room was very spacious and nicely designed. Very big bathroom, really big. The access to the swimming pool directly from the room. Just open the sliding door, and you are by the pool. Lots of trees around the resort and pool itself, many green bushes, many hand-made mini water springs.

We booked Deluxe Twin room, which was located on the first floor. (Room #302F). Every room including bathroom and balcony was very specious. The room had a living area and sleeping area. There were two deck chairs and a table to relax outside. (It would have been more comfortable if there were cushions.). Three swimming pools; one is more like for families with children. If you request your room on the ground floor, you may be able to access one of the swimming pool from your room. The hotel has a restaurant with reasonable prices, though we ate out at a local restaurant. Breakfast is a buffet style, which you can have both Asian and European food. We were little bit disappointed with breakfast, though other Asian guests seemed to enjoy their breakfast (Asian food). Because we were in Asia, we didn't expect European food to be the same quality as Europe. Overall, it was a good hotel.

I totally love this place. During our stay it was quiet and clean. The owner and all the staff are friendly. Breakfast and Services are excellent. We got the room that had pool access and had breakfast delivered on our balcony every morning.

We had 2 Pool access rooms. Very nice and clean. 5 mins walk to the Central Plaza.

The location is closed to the airport and quiet. The room is spacious and we can go to the swimming pool directly from our balcony - feel like we have a private pool as not many people using it. I also like the massage area in the pool and the pool size is just right for swimming. Unlike other reviews, there were no mosquitoes during our stay which was quite good. It is good for value.

My wife and I had an absolute phenomenal time at this utterly amazing and relaxing hotel. The room with pool access is definitely the go to as far as rooms. It is absolutely worth the little bit extra. The staff seem to have telepathy and bring you stuff you need befire you even think to ask about it. The owner and staff are absolutely amazing. The services they provide are top notch. The breakfast served on your pool side balcony is awesome too as well as the food being absolutely delicious. My wife and i absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in Chiang Mai for a few days.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceded every expectation. It was the perfect base for exploring the city's temples, markets, and cafés-everything was just a stroll or short ride away. The staff was genuinely warm, accommodating, and attentive. Even with our private plunge pool, the main pool was equally spectacular-sparkling clean, serene, and beautifully maintained. The food was delicious, drink specials impressed, and I especially adored the tea service by the pool. So peaceful and an elegant experience. Theres no question if I return to Chiang Mai there's no question I'll stay here again.

The hotel room modern, stylish, clean but not large. I like the design of the bathroom. The staff members are friendly and nice, especially a cute girl with a pleasant personality with short hair (she always tied a small plait with her bangs). Her English is good too. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and observed all the guests were speaking Mandarin. Just not comfortable to see a guest hanged the washed clothes in the pool area... The breakfast is really really good and also the complimentary tea set. :) The overall experience is nice and thanks to all the staff for their nice services!

This is a small size hotel But provide good services, I lived here 5 nights, The place was maintain well and tidy, They have a good chef can cook delicious breakfast and meal and the Manager was a helpful person, all the staff was kind, Even when we check out early midnight they can prepare the breakfast box for us , I highly recommand the pool access room to everyone. The hotel was by car about 15 mins to old city but you can used the Uber for the transportation was cheap and convenient, If you like a peaceful and relax place you will love this place.

All the staff was excellent and always gave us a little smile. They were helpful to provide support in arranging transfer services and travel advices. The breakfast offered a wide variety of egg, toast, tea, coffee, sausage and Thai food. All were absolutely delicious. Although Chiang Mai is a bit cold in December especially in the morning (around 11-14°C), I enjoyed the breakfasts at outdoor facing the Mae Ping River. I would suggest the resort to install soundproof doors for all the rooms. All the rooms are just next to the road, the noise from the outside traffic affected my sleep so much. Even the room provided me ear plugs, but it was not a comfortable choice. I was disappointed with the small pool. I thought I could spend some on my pool access room, finally I haven’t gone into water. The resort provides free shuttle services to Tha Phae Gate at 11:00am every day which was convenient and saved me 200 bahts taxi fee per trip.

The hotel was fine except we thought it was adjacent to the city - the taxi from the airport charged extra, as did a tour company which charged an additional 300 baht because we were out of the city limit, but still on the way to their tour. There were very few people staying at the hotel which made it slightly uncomfortable. Being two of only four at breakfast was surprising. Also the evening when we arrived on a hot day at about 6pm, we were told the pool couldn't be used for two hours because it had just been chlorinated! The next day we got back to the hotel at around six again and this time were told they were about to spray for mosquitos and we couldn't use the pool for an hour! Who would do these routine maintenance activities when guests are most likely to want to use the pool after a day out sightseeing?!

A beautiful setting right on the Ping river. The room was extremely comfortable and well kept. When we arrived we were greeted by a couple friendly staff members who quickly took care of our check in and served up a fresh fruit drink. The pool was awsome as being on the bottom floor we could literally step out our back door into the pool which although not large certainly fit the settings. The only negative I have to say is the people above us were moving their chairs around a bit and the sound resonated down quite clearly. Overall though we had a wonderful stay.

March 2022 to August 2022: I live in Chiang Mai and my mother is visiting from India and this was a perfect location based on our location to put her up at. Daily rates include breakfast and cleaning. We opted for monthly and got a great deal. She's been living here since March. Rooms are good, big enough, clean, fresh, good beds, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle and if you go for the bigger room and the family room you get a small workable kitchen with a electric gas and chimney. Water and laundry machines are in the building. They can come for cleaning your room and changing the sheets at a nominal cost. There is a restaurant (limited hours and limited but good food and coffee), gym, swimming pool. Parking space is available. We'll connected to the city with cabs and I'm sure the reception can help and guide you. They are very prompt in their communication. There's a small garden and play space. Clean and tidy. Quiet and peaceful. Free WiFi. Recommended for everyone, single, couples, family.

I really loved this hotel, it’s a little far from the old town etc (about 30 min walk) but easy if you just get taxis. But thats its only con. It’s spotless and Morden, nice hot showers. The restaurant has nice food and smoothies and the pool is amazing.

Mira is situated in a tranquil and serene location, yet conveniently accessible from the main street. The room I booked was spacious enough for a family, with a triple bed comprising of one double and one single bed. Overall, I had a great stay, but there were a few issues such as the AC not being cold enough and the staff needing more training.

They are very kind and understanding , serving breakfast to our room. Yes, very good quality breakfast. I will stay at this place again and again.

This hotel is located about 5-10 mins from Mae Rim center. It was a lovely experience. The rooms were very big and spacious. The staff were very friendly. The pool is in the middle of the hotel, and it is very nice. Overall, great value for money, and I would recommend staying here if you are spending time in Mae Rim. We will definitely come back in the future!

Outside of Chiangmai city but so close to many other attractions this little oasis is a perfect getaway! Delicious breakfast, wonderful pool and large comfortable rooms with lots of attention to details!

One of the first things that I noticed when checking in was the amazing architecture and design of this hotel. It felt like I was staying at a historical site. The staff are really friendly and, although English does not bode well, they will do anything for you. I asked if they hire out scooters and whilst they don't they offered to let me rent the cooks scooter for the day. Pro's: Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Amazing pool. Breakfast was freshly cooked for me (they need better fly protection than plastic wrap for the fruit) Close to some attractions including orchid garden and animal shows. (avoid the croc show unless you like watching a trainer antagonise a croc for 10 mins, stick his arm down its throat, his head in its mouth and then invite you to sit on the croc for tips) Cons: You really need a car, scooter or be prepared to pay for taxis to stay here. Some of the fixtures and fittings are showing their age. One example is my wash basin leaked. Curtains are sparse will prevent you sleeping in. Held open by pegs. There were no English channels on my TV. Bring a book if you don't speak Thai. All up I really enjoyed my few nights here.

This was a little hotel. We got the swim up room, so you can just swim up to your patio. Breakfast is made to order. However, food come whenever it is done cooking. Example, you would get your fried rice and then your eggs, to finally salad. Some days, it’s different. The only thing could make this a better experience is that the bathroom, the sink leaks. So if you use the toilet, you surely will get your feet wet lol.

My two young children and I stayed here this past week and loved it! The rooms and bathrooms are amazing. The staff provides great service and tries their hardest to communicate in English. We stayed in both a pool access room and and a pool view room and both were beautiful. The air conditioner was amazing for the extremely hot weather. Breakfast was good with many Thai and international options. They were kind enough to store our luggage when we left for an overnight adventure. The free transfer to the airport was an added bonus. We would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. On arrival we chose to upgrade to pool access which included free hot drinks delicious ground Arabic coffee. Transfer to airport and shuttle bus to several central spots. The hotel staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and fresh. The pool was spotless clean as were the rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff who helped us organise trips and picked us up from the bus station. Hotel room was a good size and had very comfortable bed. Didn't use pool area as we were too busy sightseeing but it looked very nice.

However, the hotel's location is not that convenient as it's not easy to find it. However, we find the room rate very reasonable. Staffs were friendly and helpful. However, breakfast had very few choices.

The premise is new and clean however the location is abit remote from the city centre and you have to take grab/uber to travel around. The staffs are helpful when you approach them, however it will be much better if they can be more proactive in assisting as there are not many hotel guests.

First stay at this hotel. Friendly, clean, comfortable basic hotel. TV channels all Thai. Breakfast is typical Eastern fare. Breakfast can by noisy with Chinese tour groups. very good location to/from Super Highway.

The rooms are lovely and comfortable, well equipped with water every day and with a good balcony with a rack to dry things after using the pool. The pool was very clean and well looked after. We were able to leave our bags with them after check out which was very helpful. So good that we came back after a few days.

Brilliant location in the centre of the old city, but on a quiet side street. Beautiful pool, although limited loungers for the number of rooms. Stayed in a poolside room which was preferable to climbing to the higher floors.

The location of the hotel was superb. Right in the heart of the city, close to the principal city points, and a 1 minute walk to the sunday market, which is a huge night market in Chiang Mai. Breakfast was chosen from a few options provided, not buffet, but was enough and very good. The pool was very well located, and the hotel provided towels for pool usage.

Great pool. Small hotel with not many rooms so was always space to sit by the poolside. Amazing location. Rooms spacious and nicely decorated. Lovely homely family feel to the place. Majority of staff spoke little English but were so helpful and would call someone who did speak English if you needed anything. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Charming boutique hotel, but the real kind, not just some modern cold marble bath and fake ethnic touches. Our family room was spacious, set up with antique furniture, the most conformabile mattress of our holiday in Thai and a huge bathroom. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the pool is always fresh, and on top of all the owners and the staff are delightful. The position is prime: just around the corner from the walking street, very close to all main spots the but also quiet. They do not offer breakfast but there’s plenty of cafes in the neighborhood. Overall, a great stay. Grazie Ah Long!

The room was furnished really well, very cool Bohemian vibes and it was really clean. Been able to open your front door and jump straight into the pool was a vibe. It was nice and quiet, and you could come and go as you pleased. Also, it was really close by to good food options and a Street food market.

Loved everything about our stay. Really comfy, beautiful rooms. Pool was fab, staff were lovely. Great location, peaceful oasis in the centre of town. Great to have toys/a space for our toddler to play & have kid time while in the city. Veggie restaurant opposite was a huge bonus, one of our fave restaurants in Chiang Mai.

Hotel was very nice, pool is stunning, rooms very nice and comfortable. We wanted to be in nature and it provided. Perfect place to go and get away from the huddle and bustle.

Despite the comments, the internet works very well at the property. The building and the atmosphere are amazing and we had a stunning view to the pool.

Here it is a bit more respectful. Since I was here several weeks I also met some people that came for a few days. And I met only good quality people here. Do not hesitate to rent a scooter and then everything will be close to you. If you stay by foot, you got the every day market a 5’ walk and a gym just in the other side of the road.

Just amazing! The owner is super nice and very helpful. He felt like a grandpa who took care after me. I could use a bike for free and they also have motorbikes that you can use for free. They even let me cook in their kitchen because there where not so many vegetarian options in the neighborhood. The house is great with and pool. I really felt great between the locals in a small village.

Be prepared that this property is quite far out of the main drag of Chiang Mai. Other than that, had a lovely relaxing stay here. Cozy bungalow that has hot water and comfortable bed. Staff were helpful and kind, the kitty cats that roam around are chatty and love a chin scratch. Pool was clean, and the area is quiet (minus the animals). Free scooter for use as well. Recommend this place highly.

If you want a peaceful place away from noise and have a very relaxed stay, this is a great option. The owner and the daughter were very nice and the ambiance of the place is very relaxing. There are cats that are very cute and chilling by the pool is a must. We rented a scooter in Old town and drove back and forth to the hotel.

The hotel is only a short walk to a 7/11, cafes, restaurants, and some small stores that sell souvenirs. I would definitely rebook for future stays in Chiang Mai!! Thank you for our lovely stay.

I spent two weeks here. My room was very comfortable, the bed and pillows were great and the room was a fair size. There was a mini fridge in my room with three bottles of filtered water and two bottles of Coke Zero. The water bottles were replenished every day and there are water dispensers available so you can refill your own bottle. Breakfast is from 7am - 10am so you are not under pressure to wake up early. Also, if you want housekeeping to do your room a bit later you can keep the do not disturb sign on until 3pm - that is to say, switch it off before 3pm if you want your room to be cleaned. I don’t know how to describe breakfast. It’s SO good. From cereal, overnight oats, yogurt. Pot noodles, a chicken dish with rice, soup, boiled and scrambled eggs, baked vegetables, fruit and good coffee machines. I am quite sure that I have left a few things out. (Like various types of bread, three types of jam and chocolate spread) There is definitely more. Most importantly the staff are outstandingly friendly and helpful. I was made to feel very much at home. The front desk will assist with taxis, laundry and all of your queries about Chiang Mai. The swimming pool is lovely and larger than it seems in photos.

The breakfast was incredible, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day right. The staff were simply amazing – their warmth and friendliness made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything we wanted to explore in Chiang Mai. The laundry service was also incredibly efficient. What truly stood out, though, was the management of the staff and the genuine kindness of everyone who worked there. They really went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and it made all the difference. We were charmed by the lovely pool area and the adorable cats that would pop up from time to time. We definitely plan to return to Chiang Mai, and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

This hotel is located in the heart of the old town, yet it is very quiet (it's right next to a temple). It has a nice pool and a pretty breakfast area with an amazing breakfast that was included in our rate. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. We came when they were having a Christmas party and they invited us to join. We tasted a lot of delicious home-made dishes and they made us feel instantly welcome. Throughout our stay, everyone was going above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We loved staying there! Last but not least: they have mosquito screens in the rooms. This is important because there were many mosquitoes when we were traveling in Chiang Mai.

We stayed at the Makkachiva for 7 nights and we had a great time. Every single member of staff was a star but I must give a special mention to Phueng who took care of us at breakfast each morning. Her smiley face and incredible service was a joy, thank you Phueng. We had a 4th floor room overlooking the street which was great, being able to watch the sun set each evening. The hotel also has an AMAZING collection of Thai art adorning every wall, there are many incredible pieces. We had the joy of being here at Songkran and the staff gave us a special welcome home that day. The hotel doesn't have a pool but for 200 Baht each we got a day ticket to Chimes around the corner. If you are looking for a hotel that's central to old town Chiang Mai that is beautiful, comfortable and has great staff I recommend the Makkachiva.

We had a fantastic stay at Makkachiva hotel for four nights and wished we had booked at least another two with them. The guys at the front desk couldn’t have been more accommodating, they really make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. We thought the hotel’s decor was amazing with marble flooring as you walk in, traditional dark wood throughout, and a beautiful water feature at the bottom of the stairs. The rooms are also stylish but simple, the bed is big and the mattress is hard which I personally much prefer. The location is perfect being right in the heart of the old city with easy access to some of the best temples, night markets, restaurants and massage parlours, even so we didn’t hear any noise from the outside whilst in the hotel. Loved that they ask you to take your shoes off when you arrive and then provide you with slippers to be worn when inside, it’s great to learn new culture when abroad and also the hotel floors didn’t have a drop of dirt throughout it was very clean. Don’t skip their breakfast and big shout out again to all of their lovely staff working on the front desk, the lady in particular 👍🏻

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel located in the heart of the Old city with very friendly staff. We checked in easily and were shown to our room. The hotel has a no-shoe policy so you remove your shoes in the lobby and they provide you with slip-ons to wear around the hotel. I loved how relaxing it is and the fact that it's located across the street from a temple adds to the ambience. The hotel is an art hotel and features beautiful artwork throughout as well as lanna reliefs in each room. It is conveniently located with shopping spots within walking distance and is down the block from the Sunday Night Market. You could easily use Grab or a tuk-tuk to visit the Night Market, which is also close by. One of the best aspects of this hotel is the breakfast! The menu is robust and delicious, and the serving is very generous and filling. I definitely recommend giving this hotel a try if you're spending time in Chiang Mai!

i loved that it was a boutique hotel. small and intimate. you entered and accessed your room right-away. the breakfast that was included was insanely good- lots of selections and grateful for our waitress, Puhg who always took such good care of us. she always remembered that i take 2 cups of coffee and water. the staff- Fon & Fah were always more than helpful in helping us plan tours, taxi and had the best restaurant selections. Always felt at home, is what you get from these smaller boutique hotels. the staff was just amazing and i couldn’t thank them enough for the care they always provided. the location is another great reason to stay here. it’s centrally located to many shops, temples, restaurants and bars. walking distance to anything. i would highly recommend this place to anyone. get the room with a balcony- the views of people passing by and flow of the city is nicely appreciated. we rented a tuk tuk for a few areas we couldn’t cover by foot.

Upfront: I was initially not impressed when I realized I had to take off my shoes upon entering the hotel, but over the course of 3 days, that initial impression changed from not sure about this place to definitely staying here when in Chiang Mai. This place was not so much about the amenities as much as it defines what Chiang Mai is about to me: spiritual and connectedness with your surroundings. To me, what makes or breaks a hotel is staff and this staff was attentive, helpful, kind and genuinely caring. Makkachiva to me set the tone for a great visit to Chiang Mai. The rooms were quaint with everything you need and the entire hotel was very clean. What was especially nice was the open center with a serene water feature - very peaceful without taking away from the rest of the hotel. The free breakfast was a bonus and delicious with many food and drink options. Overall, a great place to chill in a great location near temples, street food and shopping.

Very pleased with this hotel. It's small and quiet. We like to swim in the pool and relax around the pool. The ladies at the front desk are the sweetest. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. No smell in the bathroom. We are staying a total of couple of weeks and so glad to find this place. Very good rare. Walkable to all the action.

Chirin Home is across the river, so a 30-minute walk to the Old Town but only 10 minutes to walk over the bridge. The taxis are cheap and easy to get. The pool is small with very cold water (refreshing!), but a lot of people were smoking around the pool. The rooms are excellent, the beds very comfortable and the air conditioning is very good but the WiFi in my room wasn't very good. The staff are fantastic and overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Our stay there was great. So great in fact that we came back and stayed there a second time. The front desk ladies are so helpful and friendly and absolutely great. They were full of information, had restaurant recommendations, and were always up for a chat. They made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, and we had our own balcony. You can do laundry there for very little money and they have a pool to cool you off during the hot and humid days. It's within walking distance from the walled city but not right in the centre. You can rent scooters with them and they offer free bicycles for you to explore Pai. We already plan on coming back a third time. Thank you for all the great advice and help.

Really loved staying here. The owner was lovely and really friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It was within walking distance of the old town and restaurants etc so really easy to get around but I also liked that the location was quiet and tucked away rather than right in the centre. When booking tours they won’t pick up from here but it’s really easy to arrange a grab to the meeting point and I walked back from the same area each day with no issues. Nice pool area and I enjoyed just relaxing by the bar a few times and reading a book. Really big room, large fridge and sink area and a small balcony outside were great

We loved the quaint, home style feel to I Lanna House. The room was small yet comfortable with all the amenities you could need. Although cool, the pool was refreshing for a quick dip. We never left breakfast hungry!! The staff go above and beyond and so we loved the hospitality. We were able to leave our bags whilst travelling to Pai for a few days and upon return we were offered use of the outside pool shower, towels, coffee and snacks. All which made our onward journey to Bangkok more comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent and the pool was a gift. They even allowed me to use the pool in the afternoon after I had checked out before I left for flight.

Friendly,polite and helpful staff. Nothing was a problem for them. We could leave our bags safely after check-out and come back for them later. Charming place which is close to many attractions and street markets. It took us around 25 minutes to get to the Gate Market which offers plenty of cheap and super tasty foods. You have many beautiful temples in the hotel area. Rooms have everything you need(we tried 3 of their rooms due to our late booking and they were all very good)and are nicely decorated. Breakfasts were tasty (you get a few options to choose from) and also have fruit/homemade rice sweets and toast if you like. Swimming pool is a nice feature 👌

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful family-run hotel. The owners are genuine, friendly, and made us feel right at home. They helped us organize activities also. It's a wonderfully quiet, secluded place with a refreshing pool and garden which we enjoyed. I wish we could stay a week longer! Info: Some rooms are on the ground floor, some rooms are up stairs. Handful of restaurants in area. It's an easy 10 minute walk to Wat Phra Singh, but most other Old Town attractions are another 10 minutes beyond that. Good breakfast included. Owners speak good English.

i Lanna House is a lovely traditional Thai building, dark wood and nice tiles. It is in a quiet corner of Chiang Mai, a perfect escape from the busy old city. The pool is a good place to cool off in the hot part of the day. Our room was one with a balcony. It was large. The bathroom was good. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He did the taxi ride to the airport for us. They will also do laundry, returning it the same day. I would happily stay here again.

This property was perfect. The beds were comfy, the water pressure in the shower was amazing and the breakfast was fantastic. Having the pool was lovely, as it allowed us to cool off after a long day and there are a few lounges for guests to lie in the sun (although with so much to do in Chiang Mai it’s not really necessary. The location could not be better - it’s about a 5 minute walk from Old Town, which means it’s close enough but still protected from the noise of the main areas, and is very close to a 7/11, restuarants, bars and markets, as well as having a laundomat and spas within a couple of hundred meters. The staff are also extremely friendly and allowed us to hang around the hotel after checkout, as our flight out of Chiang Mai was only at 10pm. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, great value for money!

Absolutely loved our stay here, cannot recommend enough! Well located just a little few mins outside the city walls, lovely and quiet location. Pool was clean and refreshing. We spent 3 nights in a twin room which was spacious and so comfortable! Staff were great and so helpful. We decided to extend our stay, we had to move to a double room, staff moved all our belongings for us, organised some laundry in 24hrs too. Breakfast was basic but tasty - toast, scrambled & fried eggs, sausage plus rice & local dish. Good coffee, alternative milk available plus yoghurt and fruit. Don’t hesitate booking, there’s nothing to dislike about this hotel!

A beautiful, brand-new hotel with comfortable rooms and powerful AC. Although the pool was small, it was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. We appreciated being able to fill our water bottles with high-quality filtered water—our stomachs felt great the entire stay. The staff was extremely helpful, and the laundry service was quick, leaving our clothes smelling wonderful. We loved the thoughtful touches, like complimentary coffee and tea available anytime, and umbrellas for guests. The location was convenient, and the rooms were quiet, allowing for a peaceful rest. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Hotel was very clean. We had great sleep as it is very quiet during the night. Hotel is close to the Sunday night market and around 20 minute walk from Wat Phra Singh temple. Staff is very lovely and helpful. They even helped us book and organize elephant sanctuary tour. Breakfast was very good with various options. There is a nice small pool that looks clean but we didn’t have time to try it as the weather wasn’t great during our stay.

Really great location in the very centre of Chiang Mai and near to all you would need during your visit. The staff were friendly always and a great breakfast available too. We wanted to extended our stay and they accommodated us no problem. Location is in the old city which we preferred as it’s full of nice cafes, restaurants and temples. We walked to the night market one night and it was so chaotic it was nice to retreat back to Lee Chiang!

This is a very nice hotel in a great central location in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is a short ride from the airport and within the old city walls. There are a number of restaurant choices within walking distance as well as a couple of 7-11 stores and a laundromat if needed. The staff is friendly and helpful and spoke enough English for us to communicate with them. The owner even came and checked in with us each day and knew who we were by name. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was excellent. They also have a delicious breakfast daily with both western choices such as eggs and sausages and Thai choices. We were there during the Lantern festival and one day we came back to our room to find a lantern and parasol on the bed with information on the festival. On check-in, they provided us with a map and a printout of activities happening throughout Chiang Mai during the festival. This was above and beyond what we expect from a hotel, but it was much appreciated. We found this to be one of the nicest hotels we had booked during our stay anywhere in Thailand and we will gladly stay there again if we find ourselves back in Chiang Mai in the future.

For me breakfast was perfect! If someone is looking for a buffet variety- this is not it. But if someone is looking for a freshly made eggs, yummy yogurt, excellent fruits and veggies, and my fav - breakfast sausages - this is the place! The only thing they were lacking was fresh pastry and barista style coffee, but even their pot coffee was of a very high quality! This is about breakfast. Now, about the hotel itself - it is super cozy, gives you home feeling, relaxed vibe, situated right across from one of the biggest temples. Don’t be scared by a bit of run down surroundings - I made friends with a nice old lady who runs a minimart next to a hotel, and we used another nice old lady who runs laundry on the corner old the time - they delivered your washed and folded clothes right to your hotel. And finally, the staff in the hotel - starting from the manager to the very last maid - friendly, helpful, but without any subservience - I am not sure how exactly to describe it, but they are your friends, they love their city and want you to get to know and fall in love with it too! The things they recommended us to do - it was really unforgettable experience!

Oh my goodness, it’s hard to know where to start on what we loved about this place! Firstly, the staff. Everyone we met was so smiley and helpful, a massive thank you to everyone who made our stay so pleasant! During our stay the hotel booked a trip for us too which was super smooth (and a lot cheaper than the price we found online). They also booked our taxi to the airport very early in the morning and the check out process was smooth with security and the taxi arrived right on time (and they even sent us with some breakfast bags!) The breakfast being was wonderful every morning and we had the chance to try different dishes. There was a good selection. The room was a good size and space and the hotel was located in a quieter part of town, really close to a 7/11, coin operated laundrette and lots of gorgeous cafes. Really good sleep and beautiful views. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone visiting Chiang Mai. We wished we could have stayed longer, it felt like a home while away. I chose this hotel after narrowing it down from around 40 in the area and had no regrets with my choice

We felt completely at ease while exploring this colorful, energetic town, and also had the chance to enjoy an unforgettable hiking experience in the nearby hills. The hotel has a warm, welcoming feel — tastefully decorated and thoughtfully run, with plenty of small details that made our stay easier. Breakfasts were another highlight — generous and delicious, with something for everyone. It was the perfect way to start our days. But what truly stood out was the quality of the service. From the concierges to the lovely owner — whom we had the pleasure of meeting — everyone treated us with genuine warmth, care, and attention. We truly felt in good hands at all times, and they went the extra-mile to assist us with every need. The location is also ideal: a short ride from the airport, and walking distance from all the main sights in the Old City. I have no hesitations, for me it’s a full 10 out of 10. We loved that they had a water refilling station at reception, which was great. They also provide glass reusable water bottles that can also be refilled. We had an early trip one morning and staff had a breakfast to go bag ready for us as breakfast hadn’t started yet. The pool was great to cool off especially in the middle of the day when it’s super hot and pool towels were also provided. We also arranged to do laundry while there, this was really affordable price compared to other hotels! Highly recommend and would book again!

Friendly, clean, bed soooo comfortable! A lot of beds in Thailand I find are too firm. Room gets made promptly each day. Complimentary water, juice, teas, coffee, ovaltine and small snacks. Great location for a more authentic stay. At a few places the staff help you to learn their language. Some really good local restaurants to explore. Coffee Waf has the BEST coffee and iced drinks less than 5 min walk. If Apple has baked banana cakes you’re in for a tasty treat. Walk to Old Town is only about a 12 min stroll. It’s nice to walk back to this area as it’s more peaceful than Old Town but still has a lot to offer. We got a Bolt (like Uber) from the Jing Jai market as the afternoon was quite hot. Cost 85baht. So cheap! Would’ve been around a 40min walk otherwise. Pool area great. There’s an undercover area with fans to chill or 8 sun lounges out in the sun. Towels provided. Shade would typically cover that area by 3.30pm. Special mention to staff Mimi - what a nugget of gold she is. Made us feel very welcome and willing to assist in any way. All staff were smiley and pleasant and made our stay very comfortable. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Having the private pool was a little bit of luxury

Great location next to Tha Phae Gate with the Sunday night market held in the street outside. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room big and clean with balcony overlooking the pool. The beautiful pool just big enough to swim up and down in. We were able to get one of the 12 sunbeds whenever we wanted one. Breakfast offers a choice of a cooked egg dish brought to your table alongside typical buffet of fresh fruit, pastries and heated Thai food. A lovely hotel we would definitely stay again.

Stunning boutique hotel, a pure tranquile retreat. The hotel is beautiful from the moment you walk in. Greeted with a very warm welcome, the staff couldn't do anymore to help make the stay better, they were extremely helpful from the start, even asking if we had any plans or trips planned and offering recommendations. Walking out of recpetion, the hotel opens out onto a stunning pool, surrounded by the hotel on three sides and stunning palm trees helping create natural shade and cool the area. The hotel is designed in a heritage style, with white wash walls and beautiful wood details throughout. Our room was up a few steps to the first floor and what a room! Excellent size with a hugh comfy bed and a balcony over looking the pool. The bathroom was big, with a seperate shower and bath (which again was huge). Breakfast was included, and offered up a range of continetal options as well as freshly cooked dishes ranging from eggs to curries, and it was all delicious. My partned is gluten free and they had a special gluten free menu as well so she was well catered for. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the Tha Phae Gate and a short walk to the night bazaar, as well as a good range of resturants and bars. Our only regret is not staying long enough to fully enjoy the hotel due to have trips booked and being out most of the day.

This is a beautiful small hotel and felt like a sanctuary away from all the hustle and bustle of the world, as soon as we arrived. So tranquil and peaceful and luckily no children to alter that! Gorgeous and spacious rooms, well decorated and presented, soundproofed and clean. We had two types of rooms for our four nights which was due to availability when I made the booking. A receptionist took us to our room after checking in with our luggage taken by an attendant, both removing their shoes before they entered the room. Superb staff throughout the hotel who wanted to please clients throughout their stay, so, so polite. Lady on reception (Polly I think) and one of waitresses (from Ao Nang) provided exceptional service. Clean and inviting pool, with towels provided and pool service. Restaurant on site exceptional and served the best “Mango & Sticky Rice” I had in Thailand. Daily varied Breakfast Buffet was constantly restocked with fresh products with choice of eggs cooked to order. Lots of choice. Evening Meal available to eat outside in the courtyard. Recommendations given by reception staff for other eateries and places to visit with maps available. The hotel photos do not do it justice. I didn’t want to leave.

A Hidden Gem – Perfect Stay! We had the most wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel feel right at home, everyone attentiveand with the biggest warm smile. Special mention to Ferrai from the reception who was there to greet us when we arrived and to say goodbye when we left, she was very professional, kind and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful, The attention to every little detail in the decor, Our room was beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! The hotel’s location was ideal—in the heart of the old city, close enough to explore the area easily but tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat. Breakfast was a delight, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a lovely selection of options and a delicious daily special. Good size pool, cozy area to take a dip and cool down and very clean. Good pool bar service. Recommend it. And if coming back to chiang mai, will definitely be back!

Everything. This place is paradise on earth. The place is comprised of several traditional Thai houses and the owners put a lot of care and love to make it the way it is today. Some of the pictures make it look shabbier than it is, this place is luxury. Everywhere you look, there is a new piece of decoration and history you did not notice before, a new beautiful detail to savour with your eyes. The amenities they provide in the room are amazing, from the soap to use, to the teas at our disposal and the robes to wear during the stay. The bed.... I slept like a baby. We got breakfast every day and it was a culinary experience. We stayed for 4 days and got to enjoy food which we would never had enjoyed otherwise. They also offer cooking experiences which I highly recommend, if you do it anywhere in Thailand, it should be here. They focus a lot on healthy eating. The family is always at your disposal for questions, anything you might need or just a simple chat. The whole staff was so attentive we felt like royalty.They also work with a specific driver who can speak English and he took us to the best tours around Chiang Mai. I could go on, I cannot recommend this place enough. Trust me when I say, it is affordable for what they offer and it will be more than just an accommodation to sleep in. It is a wonderful display of Thai hospitality.

We spent four unforgettable nights at Baan BaaLoo in Chiang Mai and can confidently say it was one of the highlights of our trip. We’re a family of four with two daughters aged 6 and 10, and the hotel was the perfect fit for all of us. It’s both magnificent and unique, offering a peaceful, beautifully designed space that feels deeply connected to the culture and charm of northern Thailand. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the hospitality. Aunya, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She helped us arrange all our activities with genuine care and attention to detail. Our daughter turned 10 during our stay, and Aunya surprised us with the most thoughtful celebration—complete with a beautiful plate of candy and cake, a traditional white birthday bracelet, and even a printed photo of the moment as a keepsake. It was touching and unforgettable. We were also lucky to be driven to our activities by Veera, who was incredibly kind and accommodating, adding to the overall warmth and comfort we felt throughout our stay. The breakfasts were delicious, with a mix of continental and Thai options that we looked forward to each morning. In every way, Baan BaaLoo felt like more than just a place to stay—it became a meaningful part of our journey. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. It’s a true gem.

We loved the Jeab (manager) and her brother! They were so helpful and kind. As for the place....it is beautifully rustic and unique and feels very Thai with the beautiful wood carvings and open-air breakfast area. The room was very clean and nice and had the most beautiful bathroom I've seen while traveling. Our boys were upstairs above us and it felt like we had our own little house. The home-cooked breakfasts were amazing as well. They cooked local style Thai food and everything was very flavorful and fresh. The location was also great! We walked to numerous temples and the Sunday night market! It's the biggest night market I've ever been to! We also, loved our driver, Weera, who was referred to us by Jeab. He ended up being able to drive us to the elephant sanctuary and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and to and from the airport. He even drove us to a flower market and bought all of us fragrant flower leis and gifted us with a monk souvenir from our wonderful day at the temple. He was truly and wonderful and kind human being.

BaanBooLoo is a one of a kind experience in Chiang Mai. You won't find anything else like this in the city. The old wooden house charm is what distinguishes it from other hotel accommodations. It's like you're in an oasis and taken back in time. Each piece of decor is custom selected by thr family. Once you're in the compound, you forget that your actually in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. The rooms are absolutely grand and gorgeous. You know this is a family run business because you immediately feel the warmth. The staff are extremely friendly and go out their way to make it a top notch stay for their guests. Anya was extremely helpful and was always available to answer questions, provide recommendations, and make bookings for us. Chef Ton also blew us away. The Thai breakfast was amazing - especially Chef's soups. We also booked thrle Traditional Family Dinner, which is essentially a 5 course private dinner prepared for us by Chef Ton. The flavours blew us away, especially his signature coconut milk soup. I would highly recommend Baan Boo Loo.

I spent an amazing week at CREW Hotel and every aspect exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive and genuinely eager to help; nothing was ever too much trouble. As someone who works on the road, the dedicated coworking space with lightning-fast fiber-optic internet was a game changer. Having unlimited hot drinks, fresh fruit and chilled water on hand meant I could stay productive (and hydrated) without leaving the hotel. Every morning started on a high note with an exceptional breakfast, freshly prepared and varied each day; it quickly became one of the highlights of my stay. After work, the serene indoor pool became my go-to spot to unwind. Despite being in the heart of Chiang Mai, the property is remarkably quiet; I slept like a dream thanks to the plush mattress and high-quality linens. The bathroom deserves a special mention too; the powerful rainfall shower felt like a daily spa treatment. Location wise, you are within easy walking or short Grab ride distance of cafés, markets, temples and the Old City, and you still return to a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. In short, CREW Hotel delivers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience and genuine hospitality. I would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend it to anyone, especially fellow remote workers looking for a hassle-free, inspiring place to stay.

Super nice modern well-priced hotel (brand new renovated rooms) walking distance from the Old city, and with free unlimited bottled water, a lovely delicious convenient breakfast, 5 minutes away from one of the best morning food markets in Chiang Mai. What's not to love? I would definitely go back. I had the last room upstairs (corner room), which was really large and had a great AC, a nice bathroom, and super comfy king size bed. I didn't use the "pool" which is a narrow indoor swim lane. The staff was lovely, very helpful (it was my first time in Chiang Mai) and I could borrow a big umbrella for a rainy day outing from the hotel.

We particularly enjoyed the daily delicious breakfast. I stayed for 6 days at the property and the everyday breakfast did not make us bored. I also highly appreciated the all day snack provided in the lobby. The property is close to several everyday night markets. Around 10 to 15 mins walk, very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and gave us many good recommendations for our choice of meals and massage during the stay. Do not forget to bring your swim suits. The swimming pool is not big but nice.

The hotel has a good feel to it. They make you feel part of "The Crew" by posting friendly slogans against the walls. The free coffee machine is a big plus! The pool is stunning! (But cold) The rooms are squeaky clean, with comfortable bedding and pillows. We had to leave very early to cath a flight, so could not enjoy the breakfast, but the hotel packed a take away croissant in for us for the road. All and all, a very good experience!

Really liked the rooms, very spacious, well equipped. Breakfast was really good, we loved being able to grab water as and when we needed it from the fridges downstairs, same with being able to use hot water 24/7. We didn’t use the pool as we had a lot of day trips but it looked really good. Location is excellent too! 15 min walk from the Saturday and Sunday night markets, as well as the night bazaar

Room slippers and flip-flops provided for use during your visit, umbrellas, balcony drying rack, pillow/cushion for the balcony bench. There is a water bottle filling station steps away at the bar. The hotel provides free activities every morning on the pool deck such as soap making and bead crafts. They also provide a free shuttle to some local markets. Front desk staff are smiling and extremely helpful. Hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants or you can catch a Grab or tuktuk easily. There are many umbrellas and chairs around the pool available, many in the shade if desired. We had a very relaxing stay.

Hotel Smile Lanna is a true oasis of tranquility. It’s not your typical five-star chain hotel, but instead, it offers a lot of intimacy, unique decor, and an exceptionally dedicated staff. The level of customer service here is outstanding—the team is always smiling, attentive, and genuinely engaged in making your stay special. One thing that might take a little getting used to is the pool water, which is salty and mineralized. Children, in particular, may need some time to adapt, and even for adults, the first dip can be a bit surprising. However, the pool itself is wonderful—no crowds, plenty of free sun loungers, and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms, all featuring balconies, are well-designed and cleaned daily. A complimentary airport transfer is a great added convenience. Breakfast is generous and diverse, combining classic options with local flavors—there’s something for everyone. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to the Old Town and just steps away from a beautiful park entrance. We are truly grateful for a wonderful stay and would like to send our best regards to the entire hotel staff. We hope to return someday!

We liked the complimentary pick up to and from the airport. Reception staff helped us with booking tours, finding a shoe repair shop, how to go certain places and all our other questions. We loved the daily breakfast with good choices. Coffee was great. Complimentary daily afternoon happy hour was something we looked forward to. Daily activities at 9 am by the pool was enjoyable. Nice change that no alcohol sold in this hotel. Location is on the outside of one of the southern gates. If preference is peace and tranquillity, rather than in the midst of action in the old city, yet able to walk to the city. There's daily complimentary rides to the markets at 9 am and 6 pm. Staff like Doi, James and Sai (amongst others) were out to help, small chat, happy and smiling faces, which made such a difference to making our stay welcome and memorable..Our room faced the pool, loved the view, no issue with room itself. Landscape around the hotel was pretty, an area for kids to play, and Smile Lanna Coffee cafe was in a beautiful setting within the gardens.

Amazing range of foods available on the breakfast buffet to suit Asian and western palates. Coffees and a variety of eggs available on demand. Heated spa pool was welcome. Afternoon fruit, snacks and hot drinks offered for free each day. Family activities on offer each morning. A convenient location just outside the city walls and in walking distance of all main sights. Good for the airport.

There is only one word that describe this hotel and its staff; magnificent! Really deserves all the high ratings. Being in the heart of the old city is perfect. The location is so good, 12 minutes by taxi to the airport. The hotel is boutique, very stylish and very chic. But more importantly, the staff is very polite. From the checkin, the attention and service they show throughout the stay, they really make you feel special. I can summarize the other details as follows. Room: very good, the balcony was great. There was even an air purifier. Breakfast: not only open buffet but also a la carte options. Pool: a very nice rectangular pool. There are only 6 sunbeds. Extras: snacks, coffee, tea, ice cream service all day. And free bicycle is available as well.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a fantastic location within the Old Quarter. From the moment we arrived, the staff did everything they could to help us. We made the most of our vouchers for lunches and massages (given to us as we stayed several nights) as well as the freely available water, snacks and ice cream. Imm, in particular, was wonderful and spoke excellent English. She kindly organised for our laundry to be collected by a local launderette - it was returned to us within a few hours and was extremely cheap. We used the in-house travel agent to book a couple of day trips and made use of the fantastic pool facilities. Overall this place is highly recommended for a luxurious stay in Chiang Mai.

We absolutely loved the area the hotel is located in, each member of the staff we met were so courteous and helpful. The hotel provides free activities each month which we availed of. We had lunch twice and each time it was amazing. Free snacks and ice cream in the lobby were a lovely touch. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool and received this upgrade free, so much appreciated as we were celebrating 2 special occasions. The area is very safe and very quiet at night so we had restful nights. Highly recommend to do a few of the activities the hotel can arrange, we did cooking class, elephant conservation program and a tour of the temples with the lovely Jon (free)

Amazing service, every staff member was fantastic and helpful. The pool was just bliss. Relaxing music coming from the lobby and nice and cool. The help yourself water fridge was such a great touch (as well as icecream, snacks and little flavoured milk boxes). The room was beautiful, i had a room beside the garden on the lower level but there was never a problem with noise. Aircon system was quiet and there was also a fan in the room. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were perfect. Breakfast was incredible. It was all the small touches and outstanding service that made this place 10/10 for me!! I can't wait to come back.

Amazing luxurious rooms, newly equipped (I would say like max 3 years old), overall definitely for somebody looking for some more luxurious rooms for very affordable price. Location is just behind the city wall (centrum of the city), so every sight in the centrum is in walkable distance (max 2 km). Just behind the hotel there is night outside food market, departing place for the shared taxis to Doi Suthep (both ways 100 THB/person). Luxury bathroom and beds. Owners are lovely couple, always available on whatsapp for any of your needs, changes to booking. We personally booked 3 more nights here and made it as our base camp for the travelling around Northern Thailand - no problem with leaving your big backpack in the hotel and do for example scooter trip to Pai, or 2 day trip Chiang Rai as we did). Very much recommended.

We had initially booked 4 nights at Amaka, but as soon as we arrived we knew we wanted to stay longer, so extended the following day for 2 more nights. Not only is the accommodation extremely clean and well-maintained, also the staff are incredibly nice and make this place a 10/10. They were always on hand to help with anything, and essentially sorted us out for the entire week, with plans, excursions, bike, food and restaurant recommendations (and their breakfasts are delicious too!). We didn’t have to worry about anything, our stay in Chiang Mai was so comfortable and homely and we were always greeted with a warm smile. Especially Som brightened up our days with her bubbly personality, conversations and her endless (great) recommendations. I would rebook this place in a heartbeat whenever back in Chiang Mai and would recommend it to everyone.

This place is so cute and cozy! I stayed in probably the fanciest room as a solo traveler but I know I could have stayed in the cute dorm and been so happy! The room I had would be absolutely perfect for a couple or even two friends traveling together or a solo traveller like me if you want to treat yourself! Beautiful huge room with a ‘living space’, big bathroom, comfortable bed, big window with a window seat and a gorgeous view of the mountains. Great location just north of the old city, walking distance to North Gate Jazz Club and a great street food area as well as basically everything in the old city - Chiang mai is very walkable. Breakfast was great and served in their cute cafe. Couldn’t recommend more! I will be coming back here with my future partner :)

Trust all the amazing reviews! Could not recommend Amaka enough! We stayed for over a month, and we felt like it became our home away from home. The staff was so friendly and helpful - I have many food restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, allergies) and not only did the staff at Amaka offer options, but they made some of the best gluten free bread I've tried. Not only did they help us navigate all the excursions we wanted, but they also booked and personally communicated with all tour guides to make sure we had a good experience. Not to be forgotten, the rooms are clean, well-decorated, and provide all the comforts you could need (daily cleaning, water bottles for the hot summer days, etc). Thank you Amaka for making our trip to Chiang Mai so memorable!

It's a great location, very walkable to the Old Town. It's also great for booking tours/activities as it's in an easy location to pick up/drop off from. The toilets and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are also super friendly and helpful! I didn't land until late, but they gave very detailed instructions on how to access the hostel, and even left the key in a little envelope with my name and "Have a great night :)" written on it. They also organised a Christmas dinner/party during my stay there, which made Christmas Day feel festive and homey even though I was far away from family. The party also made it easy to connect with other people staying there.

Great hotel and outstanding service. We sprung for the royal suite and it didn’t disappoint. The international breakfast was outstanding and the pool bar was on point for parents while the kiddos wore themselves out in the pool. I’d definitely stay here again. We were disappointed by this stay. We had a premium Level room, which for us is usually very good. The Level rooms have narrow windows. With the orientation to the North (bad view), the room was very dark and we had to switch lights on during the day! The pool is small and full of small kids with their parents (despite a nice Kids’ pool). Indeed, 1.25m depth of the main pool is more appropriate for kids! The service is good as usual in Thailand. Last call at Laan Na Kitchen is at 9.30pm. Thanks to Thalia at Laan La for going above and beyond service standards.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Meliá Chiang Mai. North met us at the airport and escorted us back to the hotel. He was extremely friendly and able to answer any questions we had. Upon arrival, we were taken up to the Level lounge for check in, which was quick and efficient. We had lunch at the Laan Na Kitchen, which was delicious. The hotel is located right next to the Night Market, which was very convenient. The Level premium rooms are modern and lovely, and exceptionally comfortable. Airport transportation offered by the hotel was nice, and right on time. The pool area is very serene and had plenty of seating; we hung out next to the pool while awaiting our departure our last morning. 10/10, would recommend!

I loved this hotel. I arrived at 11am way before check in. Not only did they have a room for me, but upgraded me to a suite. It was lovely and very spacious. The staff was kind, the free breakfast buffet had many options, and I really enjoyed the amazing massage (with a female named Nick) and chill pool vibe. The hotel is very accommodating for children (side kid pool with slides, a separate playroom, and rooms that have more entertainment for them) but it didn’t feel distracting if you didn’t have children, which I did not. (Think, kid friendly with design taste.) The location was perfect for me, just blocks from the Night Bazaar and I would definitely stay here again.

Beyond our expectations, extreme courtesy from the staff, all attentive without being intrusive. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, the bedding is great, the bathroom was impressive , hotel close to everything, 10 min walk to visit the night market. The rooftop pool is magnificent, with plenty of deckchairs and towels available at the pool. We arrived early by 7 am and by 8 a.m. we already had our room, and were able to check out at 3 p.m. free of charge. The best part: they dropped us off at the airport free of charge... if that's not customer service. And finally, a big thank you to Mrs. Boom for her countless kindnesses to us and to my daughter. We are right in a hotel at Phuket and we wish we'd stayed longer at Empress Premier in Chiang Mai and less in Phuket.

This was one of the, if not the best hotels I've ever stayed in. And I've stayed in a lot of places mostly for business trips. The service level was just so good and the hotel was beautiful. We got an upgrade and had an amazing view. Everything in the room was perfect. They even had some vegan options for breakfast and mentioned it to the chefs when we got there - nothing fancy but it was nice to have a decent breakfast to start the day. Everything ran really smoothly during our stay and we also got a free shuttle back to the airport. The pool was also nice and the fitness center was the best hotel fitness center I've experienced with good machines and it was clean and inviting.

Upgraded on arrival to a beautiful suite on the 11th floor. The living and bedroom were beautiful, large bath, separate shower and two electronic bidet loos plus kitchen area. The bed was massive and super comfortable! The smart gadgets in the room were great, I had a control panel by my bedside for all the lights, aircon, room service etc. Daily water provided and a bag of goodies as a we extra suprise on arrival, so generous and kind. We found all the staff were professional and friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet and service from staff. Pool area is very nice and sun shines here most of the day. We are returning to Chaing Mai in a few days and will be rebooking our stay here. Excellent value for money.

Perfect location. Laundry place and massage place just beside hotel. About 30-40 mins walk to the old town and to get inside the walls but some lovely places to stop along the way. The hotel was very quiet as we were in the new part. No real atmosphere in it but had a buzz around at breakfast as people from the other hotel came to us for breakfast. Staff were amazing also and lovely pool area. We let the hotel know that we were celebrating a special birthday and they upgraded us to a suite which was AMAZING and also dropped us up a complimentary bag of treats and fresh fruit. Such a nice touch

We loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the hotel is bright and very clean. The room was large, and very comfortable and the bed was fabulous. The aircon was fantastic too. The breakfast was extensive and top quality in a bright and pleasant room, again with awesome staff service. The pool was in a beautiful setting and was very clean and well-maintained - it was great both for swimming and relaxing beside. The location is good with lots of eating options, massages, markets etc close by, but you will need to catch a tuk tuk to get into the centre of Chiang Mai.

We spent 3 days at Chai Lai on our honeymoon, and we were so glad we did I cannot praise this amazing place/project more! It is set in a beautiful location, the perfect spot to be at one with nature and enjoy peace and tranquilly (and more than a few Elephants). The Huts were beautifully simple with all you need to sleep comfortably with the jungle sounds and scapes making the perfect backdrop. Waking to see an Elephant outside our door every morning waiting to be fed was particularly special. The staff were lovely and made our stay even more special. Despite its remoteness, there is loads to do, from jungle treks, temple hikes and of course Elephant focussed activities such as feeding, bathing and watching. The food in the restaurant and cafe was amazing, and in my opinion too cheap for the taste and quality! Our tour guides were excellent! Very informative and attentive. Our Guide Na Pakun took us into the jungle and cooked us an amazing lunch, showed us all the best places only locals know of and even invited us back to his home stay for coffee with the most amazing view! The kindness and dedication of Na Pakun and all the Chai Lai staff and Tour Guides was second to none. We were only too happy to contribute to this amazing community and wildlife project that helps Elephants and local people and had the best time doing so and will definitely be returning!

The staff was truly amazing. they are so nice and accommodating and I would recommend everyone visit here at least once if they can. I also really liked the idea of them helping women and young girls secure a better future, that’s a beautiful plus to the Chai Lai Orchid. They really try to do all they can to make your stay something out of a story book. The scenery is beautiful…you’re in a jungle with beautiful massive yet gentle animals…is there anything better? It’s good bang for your buck as well. It’s worth the money for sure. The elephants are so cute and you get to interact with them a lot. I like that they just bring them around to roam and they also bring them to your room to feed them each morning! If you are not an outside person and what level 10 luxury…this is not for you BUT if you are adventurous and love the beauty in nature but have never been camping and would like to ease yourself into it…this is the place for you because you’re not actually sleeping totally outside, you’re enclosed in your own private cabin/villa but still slightly SAFELY exposed to the environment. Hope this review helps you!! *P.S. bring LOTS of bug spray…these mosquitoes took me for an entire buffet!

Everything was just amazing. I lived every minute of our stay here. The staff were incredible and so friendly. As soon as we got out of the taxi to check into our room, 3 members of staff came to grab our bags and put them ready in our cabin. When ordering dinners and breakfasts staff were so friendly and always ready to help when needed. When we were leaving, we checked out earlier than usual and so we weren't able to have breakfast, due to this they gave us a couple of free smoothies in a takeaway cup so that we can leave with a drink. I found this so lovely. The cabin we were given was mountain view and the view was incredible. In relation to the elephants, this sanctuary is so gentle with them and are very patient. They do not treat these elephants badly and give every minuet of the say to them. The elephants are assigned to one person only who look after them and are with them 24/7. We did nit ride the elephants which I was amazed by because its very unethical and bad for the elephants. We did bathe them and the excursion we did was amazing and wrll value for money. Overall I loved every minuet of it and would deffinately recommend

An absolutely amazing stay! I spent 3 nights at Chai Lai Orchid and enjoyed every second of it. It is truly wonderful to be woken up by elephants in the morning and feed bamboo sticks and bananas. And these are all saved elephants who enjoy a new life here. I had a wonderful room with a comfy bed, a desk where I could work from and and outdoor bathroom. The cleaning lady brought me anti-mosquito spray and other utensils every day. I enjoyed the jungle life in my perfect hut, where I could hear the nature around me all the time. It is worth the long drive from the city, because you are really nestled in the middle of the North-Thai jungle there. I booked the jungle hiking tour with the cooking in bamboo and it was an afternoon well spent. The guide was very knowledgeable, he showed and explained to me everything on the hike, the cooked food in the bamboo was super delicious and the interaction with the elephants was unforgettable. Can highly recommend this stay!

A paradise for visitors and for the elephants! Chai Lai Orchid is an incredible place, like nothing else I have ever experienced. We spent 4 days here, there was never an elephant far away, and we got to know them all by name. The elephants belong to the local Karen tribe, who are supported by Chai Lai, and the mahmouts that look after the elephants are Karen tribesmen. We fed the elephants by hand each day, as well as taking part in the half day Elephant Care introduction, swimming with the elephants and cleaning them. The Thai food was amazing here, we couldn't get enough of it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Many thanks to the wonderful Thep who accompanied us during the adventure, elephant care. Thep! He was our hiking guide and he was intuitive, helpful and polite. He was able to answer any question regarding Chai Lai Orchid and the village as well!.

Loved the room with the mountain view! I got to see the sunrise and sunset without leaving my bed and the balcony looked out onto plants so I felt like I had a jungle view despite being right in the city center by the big temples, shopping streets, and night market. The service was wonderful, the room large and comfortable for relaxing, the sheets were soft and the room very clean! The pool looked clean and refreshing, although I didn't get a chance to try it. The security at the entrance who helped with the luggage and late returns added peace of mind and a friendly face to the stay. The snacks and drinks available by the pool changed often for variety and were such a wonderful addition! I would definitely come back/recommend this hotel.

We were on our honeymoon, and our stay at the hotel was full of sweet little touches that made it even more special. Our room was decorated with a romantic atmosphere. The hotel staff were always so polite and friendly, The hotel itself has very charming character, clean and spacious rooms, beautiful pool and amenities that make you feel so comfortable. Location was great, very peaceful but close proximity to lots of restaurants, shops, massages, sightseeings and tour agencies. Breakfast was minimal but perfect for what we needed. Also there was a cookie/tea/coffee station by the pool available through the day, such a sweet touch.

This is a lovely hotel with great staff. It is in a quiet area of a very busy city but it’s only a 5 minute walk to be into the hubbub. Breakfast is excellent. The only (minor) issue is the pool is quite small and doesn’t get much sun but you don’t go to Chiang Mai to sit around a swimming pool so this didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommended.,

Such a charming spot right in the heart of a busy Chiangmai old town. So convenient to walk to most major attractions. The room was decorated stylishly and the daily cleaning was meticulous (the towels always smelled so nice). The room was clean and most facilities modern. The pool was so refreshing with beautiful surroundings. They provide complementary drinks and snacks on pool side - so thoughtful!

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and even spacious (but we did opt for the bigger rooms). We loved the pool on those hot afternoons! We reserved the family room but did not end up using the outside garden too much. We just congregated at the pool. Morning breakfast was fantastic! Loved the afternoon tea/coffee set up as well.

The Chiang Mai Old Town is an excellent hotel, only 6 months old when we visited in October 2019. The room was immaculately clean and the bed superbly comfortable. The pool isn’t great, but you don’t go to Chiang Mai to lie by the pool. If I had one criticism it is that the breakfast is too formal and guests are treated with too much respect. It would have been more relaxing if they could have lightened up a bit. Highly recommended though.

We found this place after feeling very uncomfortable in a different place we'd booked. This place is a little haven of luxury. Staff are so welcoming and helpful and the place is spotlessly clean and charming. We stayed in a heritage suite which was so comfortable and spacious and catered for everything we needed after our very bad experience elsewhere in Chiang Mai. My husband used the gym which had all essential equipment. The pool looked clean and was busy but not overcrowded ever - although we didn't use this facility due to times etc. Laundry service quick and easy with complimentary items as we stayed over 2 days. Breakfast was decent and the presentation of the cooked breakfasts was top quality! Be careful what you order though or how you ask for it - I asked for fried eggs and got five eggs. (But that must have been my accent) Staff are fabulous. They even wrapped my husband's breakfast up for him as our lift arrived early. Definitely a place we'd recommend and would certainly visit again if ee venture back here. Only negative would be the dogs barking/howling intermittently from 530am from neighbouring site. The hotel do have a court order in place to address this and it certainly wouldn't be a limiting factor for anyone looking to book! Thank you to the staff for helping us when we needed a quick move from a dodgy booking and even driving my husband back to the place to get our cases back - we appreciate it so much!

This is my second time in Thailand so I’ve stayed in my fair share of hotels across the country, and this was by far and away the best place I’ve ever stayed. The staff is warm and accommodating. They were able to help us book all the things we wanted to do easily, and always greeted us with a friendly smile. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend having a soak in the bathtub! The breakfast is delicious, and the lunch and dinner is not bad either if you dont feel like leaving. There are tons of extra amenities like happy hour and the pool that we did not take advantage of but looked incredible. This is a great hotel in the heart of old town. Would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay! Stayed in Chiang Mai for a couple nights and wished we stayed here longer. The staff wait on you and make sure you have every need met. They are kind and helpful. Even for example, we were in the pool and a staff walked over and turned on the jets for us to enjoy. Highly recommend getting the breakfast included option because you get to dine at their high end restaurant each morning from 7am - 10:30am with unlimited a la carte meals and drinks! So yummy! Reception always has free snacks, drinks, and desserts from the restaurant as well. Highly recommend! Worth the money! The room had Bluetooth surround sound speakers, balcony, and other great features.

This was an amazing hotel experience, one of our favorites in Asia. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The location is perfect for walking around Old Town. The breakfasts are great... with made to order dishes, and great coffee drinks. We enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after sightseeing and tours. The hotel staff was very helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport for us--and a huge bonus is it is a very short distance away. We would definitely stay here again!

Friendly, helpful and attentive. You couldn't ask for more from these amazing people. We only dined in the restaurant for breakfast but it was excellent. Great variety of both local and worldwide food and it was of a very good quality. You could find cheaper accommodation in Chiang Mai but, in comparison to the UK, value for money was very good.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, we cannot think of any faults! Everything was clean and comfortable, plenty of space is our room and the hotel itself is beautiful. Lovely lobby space and the pool area is fantastic, providing a great view over the city. Breakfast was great with lots of options available and the staff at the hotel are extremely polite and helpful. The location for us was perfect, the area is removed from the busy old town but there is plenty going on, markets etc, and the One Nimman shopping area just opposite the hotel was lovely, offering lots of food options, live music and small shops with local/handmade products. Although the hotel is located on a busy street, you don’t get any noise in the hotel. Would definitely stay again when visiting Chiang Mai in the future.

The location is excellent as it is in the centre of the high end shopping area. The facilities in the hotel are amazing. I enjoyed the rooftop pool and gym room. The buffet breakfast is also great and I love to sit outdoor to enjoy the morning breeze! Apart from the hardware, I appreciate very much the prompt response and friendly smile of all front desk staff. In the first night of stay, we experienced inadequate heating up of water for shower. Your front desk staff responded instantly to my call and had everything checked and put right the next morning. I would like to express my gratitude to Game, the customer manager of the hotel and her staff for making our stay in a most relaxed and pleasant way.

We love the facilities well maintained. We haven’t used the sauna but if we stay longer we will use it for sure. We not to the gym and work out a bit. We love the breakfast it’s the highlight during our stay lots of variety western and Thai food. We also loved our room super clean and the the rain shower add more comfort and all the extras in the room it’s also spacious. The view from the infinity pool was beautiful the view of the city. The hotel itself is next to the one Nimman select where the big clock is located and it’s surrounded by all restaurants and cute shops and food court in great location. Staff are amazing very helpful.

Professional, courteous and very helpful staff: Mai and Sang. The staff also helped me to rent a motorbike with fair price. Room was comfortable and had lots of storage spaces. Pool was decent with pool towel and slipper provided. Balcony was located across the room but still have sliding door for privacy and relaxation in the morning or evening when the temperature was cool. I would stay here at this hotel again next time.

Just 12 minutes away from old town and Chiang mai local market. Staff members were super friendly and helpful. The room has a reasonable price with gym and swimming pool facilities. Having swimming pool on a hot day, is everything you needed! Because it was my partner's Birthday during the holiday(I made a note when I made a reservation), they made our bed with 3 Elephant and a cake with towels. Also, they provided a coconut cake, which was the perfect and tasty. When we found small ants on the tables, we requested cleaning. After that, they were gone. Only the pinch points were, because the premise is a bit aged, the water pressure can be low when you first turn on the tap. I found that if you run the water a bit, you will have enough water pressure and warm water.

We paid a very reasonable price (bargain) for 3 nights here and it provided everything we needed for a short stay. I would recommend booking a pool view room with adjoining balcony as it looks like a lot of the rooms have separate balconies accessed via the hotel corridor. Our room was also a lot more spacious with great amenities. Staff were lovely and the pool was nice to cool off in the afternoon heat. Breakfast of your choice of egg with bacon, ham and sausage could be ordered along with other basic offerings (cereal, toast etc.). Location was great for us as it was near the airport and next to the Saturday night market on Wua Lai road which is worth a visit. Cheap public transport is never far away should you find walking anywhere too taxing.

Quiet and pool is great but rather small because I’m a swimmer. For non swimmers, it would be perfect. Pool is super clean.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff are so helpful and friendly! We lost a phone whilst travelling and had to leave the hotel early the next morning. We managed to track down the phone and get it delivered back to the hotel and they posted it on for us. They also have a great and really cheap laundry service! 100tbh for 1kg and you can just drop it at reception! The room was everything we needed. The pool was small but great to pool down in and always pretty quiet. We didn’t have breakfast included and after one breakfast at the cafe attached to the hotel we decided to venture out for other breakfasts. There is an amazing cafe nearby called Gravity that we went to every day for breakfast!

I love this hotel, this is my second stay at Le Naview! Amazing hospitality and clean rooms, location is perfect for an out and about in town. The restaurant menu is great and reasonable, they can bring the food and drinks to the swimming pool. They are very generous letting us access the pool even after the checkout. Perfect hotel for both couple and family, highly recommended! 🙏❤️

The hotel is nicely decorated. Room was large and comfortable. The pool is on the smaller side but had several lounge chairs. The pool was handy to take a break from the heat.

The location was great, right in the central square. Restaurants and other amenities were very close. Very helpful and polite staff. We really enjoyed the pool and being able to order food and drinks straight to the pool area. They also have a laundry service, which we used and were happy with.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed here for 3 nights as we were travelling around. The hotel is very clean with a lovely open terrace at the front with a restaurant. Check in with smooth and painless. We were staying during 'Songkran' (Thai water festival) which was extremely wet! We were warned about this prior to our arrival and were offered complementary waterproof phone cases. The hotel had a gazebo set up out front with barrels and buckets of water along with water guns for hotel guests to join in. Everybody was so friendly. The food in the restaurant was good as well as the drinks. The pool was a lovely place to cool off at the end of the day and was not busy whilst we were there. Great hotel, friendly staff, would definitely recommend staying here

We loved our stay here, stayed for three nights while exploring Chiang Mai. One of our favourite places we stayed on our 6 week travel around South East Asia! Location was perfect for us and the attention to detail with the facilities was brilliant. Room was light and clean with excellent aircon. Laundry services were so handy and breakfast had a good spread, something there for everyone. The common area of the pool and seating was lovely and we really appreciated the free cold water and treats readily available. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm and looked like they were happy to be there :)

This was one of the best places we have stayed. Whoever designed the hotel knows about things people look for. Impeccably clean, comfortable beds, warm showers. But then everything else- delicious buffet breakfast, free water and free snacks all day! Then there was the free washing machines and dryers! We also loved the pool, the staff and the cat. The best thing was that it was plastic free- as the water bottles were all glass and were reused. This is what all hotels should work towards. It is the benchmark in providing an amazing stay.

The hotel was very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was ice and bottled water free of charge 24-7 which was amazing. The daily breakfast had a great variety and was very hygienic. Had washing facilities on site which was a great bonus. The location was good and the pool immaculate with fresh clean towels to use whenever you needed. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Great value for money

Bed was so comfy. Room was spacious as well as bathroom. They also gave us free bottles of water that we can had as many as we wanted. They also let us use bathroom next to the pool before check-in and after check-out which was very useful especially we wanted to take a bath before boarding the overnight train back to Bangkok. Staff were also attentive and polite.
