Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Chiang Mai

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room (pool.access room) was great and huge. Good facilities in the room and you got 4 bottles of water every day. Breakfast buffet was well stocked.

Great location in the old town, walking distance to bars, restaurants, temples and shops. Superb room, excellent size with pool access. Loved it.

The breakfast had a huge variety and was delicious and in the lovely setting on the deck overlooking the fishpond. The pool was clean and nice with lovely relaxing seating and a small poolside bar. The room (pool access) was large and amazing, the nicest we had in our Northern Thailand stay, though there was a horrible overpowering musty smell (not sure if this was due to the recent flooding in Chiang Mai?) We didn't complain as were only there for 1 night.

We had our first visit here in 2019, only 3 years after it had been built, so it was very new and beautiful. The experience was heightened by very attentive staff. So much so we longed to go back. Six years later, we have just spent over a week here, and although it is still lovely, it feels a tad unloved compared to before. This might be due to time and age. The bicycles they had to offer guests to use for free were so lovely back in 2019, but they no longer offer these. Nor is the room service menu visible as the restaurant is now only open for breakfast The restaurant breakfast is still hearty, but much like the rest of Chiang mai, now heavily featires pork. Although this might be welcome for Chinese visitors, not so great for Muslim guests.There seems to be either a pork day or a chicken day. The chicken days are full of exciting things to try for breakfast. The range of other breakfast items is really good and there are two coffee machines, one which offers hot milk too. Our executive room with pool access was lovely, and probably the best rooms to go for are the ones away further away from the breakfast area. All in all a lovely 4 star hotel, well situated at the corner of the walled city so easy to walk to the Wua Lai walking street market open every night. The restuarant Lookbua is a gem for authentic food prepared with love, and very close by too.

The hotel is beautiful, with ornate design and decor. Rooms are spacious with ornate carved polished wood furniture and bathrooms with a spa bath. The pool area is gorgeous to relax around and as others have said, this feels like a lavish oasis whilst in a busy city. The staff were all fabulous and breakfast consisted of a wonderful array of Thai food, continental pastries,yoghurt, fruits, cereals and an egg station. Something for everyone! The delight of this is that each morning it slightly changes providing a great opportunity to try different Thai foods. Overall we had a beautiful stay in this gorgeous and comfortable hotel. I chose the Executive suite that opens directly out to the pool area and the hotel kindly provided an extra bed as there were three of us. On checking out we had several hours before catching the overnight train to Bangkok, the hotel had a luggage room for us to store our luggage and we were able to continue to enjoy the pool area with toilet and shower before we left. For us, everything was perfect ❤️🙏🏻❤️

Very clean hotel which is very well located within Chiang Mai old town, which despite this we heard no road noise or anything as it is on a quiet back road. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, well equipped with water every day and with a good balcony with a rack to dry things after using the pool. The pool was very clean and well looked after. We were able to leave our bags with them after check out which was very helpful. So good that we came back after a few days.

Brilliant location in the centre of the old city, but on a quiet side street. Beautiful pool, although limited loungers for the number of rooms. Stayed in a poolside room which was preferable to climbing to the higher floors.

The location of the hotel was superb. Right in the heart of the city, close to the principal city points, and a 1 minute walk to the sunday market, which is a huge night market in Chiang Mai. Breakfast was chosen from a few options provided, not buffet, but was enough and very good. The pool was very well located, and the hotel provided towels for pool usage.

Great location, good breakfast, lovely staff. Can walk to everything in the old city plus the day and night markets outside the walls. The pool was lovely and set in a nice garden. Extra towels provided for this. Quiet location off the main road. Tips - Poolside room is really nice for the terrace. Meaw laundry up the street is good and cheap.

Lovely small hotel located in a quiet location. Great pool area with sun loungers. A limited selection of meals but great value and really tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had 3rd floor rooms overlooking the pool. Plenty of room, clean and tidy.

The inside house was a beautiful property with gorgeous amenities and a kind staff. We enjoyed our private pool and the incredible bath products. We also had the best massage of our trip at their spa. Finally, the food was delightful!

Beautiful architecture, sort of a nice mix of British influences with Thai culture, very nice. Our suite with private pool was extremely nice and couldn’t have asked for anything better.

A small and intimate little hotel with big rooms and an extremely clean and cool pool. My room had pool access and wow. It is in the old city and an extremely quiet area. I just love this hotel.

I stayed in two different room types one on the ground floor and one on the second floor. I enjoyed both rooms . The terraces and balconies as well as the pool area created a really nice atmosphere. There were nice loungers around the pool to relax. The rooms had everything you needed but basic. The hotel is excellent value and if youre sightseeing and just want somewhere that you can hang out by the pool later in the day then this is a great place to stay. Despite the comments about what I didn’t like, I really would recommend this property as it’s a great location for a base for sightseeing. The sripat property across the road is highly recommended on blogs and Looney planet but actually I think the BB mantra is better. There was a great juice bar just down the road for smoothies or breakfast and a lovely pizza place at the end of the road too so there are some nice options nearby. I found the lady on the front desk to be super super friendly and helpful.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Having a swim up pool was awesome! We only ate the breakfast, which was delicious.

Utter comfort! The bed, the jacuzzi and pool access, the buffet breakfast. All fantastic! The location is also wonderful, quiet lane and close to Tharpae Gate. Beautiful smiling staff also.

We managed to get was we requested for - 2 rooms to be next to each other. Rooms - with pool access. Love the theme and pastel colour of the rooms. The daily housekeeping were on their toes everyday, good job on making sure the rooms are tidied and cleaned. Breakfast - The selection was very basic but they do service this thick toast sandwich if you're room comes with breakfast. Highly recommended to try it. Staff- We very helpful in providing information and assisting us with our luggage. Surrounding - There were a lot of small local cafes/spas/laundry. Just next door, there's a Bamboo Hut accommodation the reception does tours for tourist, we booked our Zipline activitiy there, the lady who assisted us were super friendly. She even gave us information on what's happening today/tomorrow and we took her suggestion. We even checked out those cute Bamboo Huts, it's really raw and basic stay suitable for solo backpackers traveler. Do check it out!

Clean and comfortable, close to restaurants and massage salons. The pool is small but good for a quick dip to cool off, we didn’t visit chiang mai to relax by a pool so was fine for us. Variety of sandwiches available for breakfast - egg bacon ham etc, and fruit and cereal.

My son enjoyed the pool, and we had a pool attached room for him. Everything was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful

This is an amazing place. Quiet small hotel with a kind caring service and beautiful design, good food as well. I loved the swimming pool, it is big enough even to do laps. My room with the pool access was beautiful with comfortable bed and pillows. Just amazing. Hope to be back soon.

I love everything about this hotel the swimming pool the spacious room (we got the pool access deluxe) the gym facilities and the room service Friendly and helpful staff , it's 15mins drive to one nimman, and you can walk to nearest big C like 10mins (pantip mall if I reckon )

Stayed for 5 nights in Pool Access Suite, great experience and services in all aspect, very helpful and friendly staff, nice breakfast with many choices, clean environment (no bugs), well equipped gym, swimming pool and jacuzzi, truly recommend to anyone planning to stay in Chiang mai.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the old city of Chiang Mai. Pool access room was perfect. Hotel was clean everywhere. Breakfast was really good - you can choose from a menu as well as having other buffet options. Umberellas in the room as well as lobby for use. Staff very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully go back again. We travelled around Thailand and Chiang Msi was my favourite place .

very good location in the middle of the city. nice rooms. not very big, but big enough and with an effective air condition. the beds also comfortable. we had a room with a quite private pool with comfortable temperature and not too much chlorine. the staff is very helpful and always smiling. can definitely recommend and would like to come back here sometime. also a big plus with 24-hours use of room with check out whenever you like. it was very nice for us, taking a train to Bangkok from Chiang mai at 6 pm that we could use our room until 5pm.

Many key sightseeing points, good quality restaurants, services are within a stone throw. Direct pool access from your doorstep helps entertain the kids all day and keep parents worry-free. Staffs are kinds, friendly, relaxed, attentive to our specific needs. My pre check-in requests were arranged without remainders (unlike many other hotels)

The public spaces are partially open to the outside and therefore you can feel the outside temperature and wind. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and cozy. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. During our time the pool was under renovation but they arranged to use the pool of a nearby hotel and even a larger pool from again another hotel including the transport by taxi. Super. Breakfast is good with enough choices for both western and asian food.

The location of this property is brilliant! Walking distance to lots of shops, temples and food establishments. Felt completely safe walking around as a solo female traveller because there were people around the streets on an evening in particular. Pool was a lovely treat and also I had a pool view which was lovely and a balcony. Breakfast was nice and plenty of options. Staff lovely too.

Staff were lovely, room was very clean and comfortable. We had a pool access room and the staff brought us over ice cream and drinks without us even asking. Fresh snacks and drinks available for free all day. One of our favourite hotels so far. Great location.

Its a chic modern hotel. We had a spacious triple room, a giant TV, great bathroom with walk in shower duperb air-con and a balcony. The staff are dedicated, super friendly and a charming bunch of youngsters whom will help with whatever you need. The breakfast is cooked on the premises (partly) and amazing mix of Thai and western. Abundant choice for such small hotel. Very tasty too! They recycle bottles, that they refill, so you can have unlimited, juice, coffee (amazing coffee it is) water all day long, and fresh fruit. We even got ice-cream when were by the pool. The pool was 24c and perfect for cooling done after a hot day of sightseeing. Its an Adult only hotel and i was there with two of my young adult kids. We absolutely loved the place. If you visit Chiang Mai BED is the hotel to book!

The staff were superb and couldn’t be more helpful. The location was perfect. The pool was small but complimentary shuttle took us to sister hotel which had a fab pool. We loved everything about our stay at BED - it completely exceeded our expectations! I traveled with a group of 9, and we were able to fit comfortably in 4 rooms that were all close to each other. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. The location is amazing - right inside the Old City and within walking distance to many temples, restaurants, and shops. BED has a very convenient and affordable laundry service that we utilized on our last day as well. The breakfast was freshly made daily from a rotating menu, so we were able to try all kinds of traditional Thai fixings. They also had bottled water, juice, and fresh fruit available 24/7 at no extra charge. The staff was very personable. What really set apart this hotel was the amazing staff. They immediately made us feel welcome and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. My group loved getting to talk with JP over breakfast and hear his amazing recommendations and how best to navigate the city. They offered us ice cream while at the pool and before heading out for the day - it was delicious! We also had a friend celebrate a birthday during our stay, and the staff surprised her with a cake and candles to her door - a memory none of us will forget! We were sad to leave and hope to return one day soon!

We had the pool access family room and it was absolutely perfect for our stay! Our seven year old met lots of friends at the pool and it made our stay really enjoyable. If you are travelling with kids this is an excellent choice! Short walk to access old town and lots of food options!

First, I never write reviews. But for Baan Sang Singh, I can't pass without expressing how much we enjoyed staying at this property! If you have a child, staying in a pool access room is a game changer! My boy, an 8-year-old, loved swimming, and he had direct access to the pool. We just stayed in the room or the seating area right outside of our room. The spacious room had all the right amenities; my boy loved his bunk bed. Complementary, morning toast, and coffee were perfect for us. As for location-wise, it was also ideal for us since it was only 5 mins to Chiang Mai Gate and 10 mins to Tha Phae Gate, the night bazaar was 10-15 mins, Saturday market was 5 mins. We only took a tuk-tuk a couple of times at night after a long day from the night bazaar for 100 - 150 baht. Plenty of good, cheap local restaurants are nearby. Also, Ann and her staff were the best!! We’ll definitely stay again next time we visit Chiang Mai!!!

We stayed here as a family of four - including two teenagers - and we had a wonderful 6 night stay! Our room with 2 double beds was plenty spacious for the 4 of us, as it included a separate seating area with a couch and T.V. as well. Water and biscuits are replenished daily and the hotel is kept very clean. The pool and poolside area are also kept very clean, and nice to come back to at the end of the day! The location is perfect - far enough from the main roads but close enough that it’s within walking distance to the Old City and the Night Market. Breakfast is standard - eggs, fruit, cereal, waffles, pastries and a couple of warmed Thai dishes. It’s definitely a family oriented hotel, so if you’re looking for a quiet pool with no kids then it may not be for you. The owner and all the staff are very pleasant and helpful. It's also nice that they have a free shuttle to the Night Market for those rainy days... I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit Chiang Mai!

Everything about my stay at Sang Singh was great! My room was well appointed and immaculately clean. Nice view of the swimming pool below. I loved the pool - long enough to do some lengths and in the heat of the day some of the pool is in the shade. The hotel has various items on sale - ice creams, wide variety of drinks and some dry goods - just grab and pay at reception. There is no breakfast although you can help yourself to coffee from 7am and make some toast (jam, peanut butter, nuttella supplied). Within 100m of the hotel are a few very good restaurants - offering thai and western meals at excellent prices.

I had a nice, large, well-equipped room with light from two sights and pool view (all rooms have pool view). Everything is modern and the pool and joint outdoor area in the courtyard are very good. The staff was competent and friendly. It's quiet at night (and during daytime).

Beautiful swimming pool but pool can't be used after 7pm which is a pity. During the day we are visiting the city surroundings and we like to swim when we are back. We rented scooters, with a company who brought the scooters at the hotel and picked them back up the last day. Nice town. lots of travel agency's to book daytrips and pick you up at the hotel. Laundry service was expensive, room service too. Bar open, but was pretty empty and closed after 9pm while we were there.

The room was large and spacious. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast choice was huge ranging from lots of Thai cooked meals, continental options, eggs cooked to order and fruit/yoghurt. The pool was nice but only about 10 sun loungers, which was never a problem as it was quiet during our stay. Only 1 of the 2 pools was open when we were there.

The staff is amazing, the location is more than beautiful. The room SLoft is huge and clean. The pool was very clean and even enlighten at 6 which was stunning The breakfast was very diverse and tasteful.

I like the natural feeling if the resort. The swim pool is like a river , a farm right onsite, which my room was facing to. I could hear the frogs and summer insects every night during my stay. Other room types with quieter facing available as well.

Beautiful pool! I wish I'd gotten one of the 1st floor rooms where you can swim up to the porch from the pool. Regardless, my room was perfect. The shower had 7 shower heads - it was amazing! The room was huge, good air conditioning, very friendly staff. Beautiful resort.

Beautifully manicured gardens. The lagoon pool was magnificent with the swim up bar, water features and sun baking islands. our room was poolside so perfect for a quick dip and shower off.

Loved the style of this hotel. We really liked our Room and bathroom. We had a swim up pool room and that was really cool. Food in the restaurant was great.

the place is surprisingly tranquil. Because it is not too big, like your little garden pool. One can sit there doing nothing and enjoy looking at the purple flowers hang off to the pool side. Everything is available off the lane but this place is free from disturb. Facilties are in good conditions. My room opens directly to the pool, with benches out on two sides. I can do a bit of excercise after swimming. Perfect.

Great pool. Small hotel with not many rooms so was always space to sit by the poolside. Amazing location. Rooms spacious and nicely decorated. Lovely homely family feel to the place. Majority of staff spoke little English but were so helpful and would call someone who did speak English if you needed anything. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Charming boutique hotel, but the real kind, not just some modern cold marble bath and fake ethnic touches. Our family room was spacious, set up with antique furniture, the most conformabile mattress of our holiday in Thai and a huge bathroom. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the pool is always fresh, and on top of all the owners and the staff are delightful. The position is prime: just around the corner from the walking street, very close to all main spots the but also quiet. They do not offer breakfast but there’s plenty of cafes in the neighborhood. Overall, a great stay. Grazie Ah Long!

The room was furnished really well, very cool Bohemian vibes and it was really clean. Been able to open your front door and jump straight into the pool was a vibe. It was nice and quiet, and you could come and go as you pleased. Also, it was really close by to good food options and a Street food market.

Loved everything about our stay. Really comfy, beautiful rooms. Pool was fab, staff were lovely. Great location, peaceful oasis in the centre of town. Great to have toys/a space for our toddler to play & have kid time while in the city. Veggie restaurant opposite was a huge bonus, one of our fave restaurants in Chiang Mai.

We stayed in the King with pool access room and it was absolutely perfect, loved the mix of modern / luxury with Thai heritage. Best shower of my life! Bed was very comfortable. Also loved how it is a boutique hotel, so felt familiar and cosy. Staff were all very lovely. We will definitely be back

Loves the decor and size of the room. Beautiful balcony with direct pool access. Love the welcome message/ coconut snack/ free evening mocktail from restaurant/ bottled water. Reception staff were friendly and helpful especially the man who worked in the evening.

We liked the superlarge room with its own plunge pool overlooking nice green oasis. Breakfast room is on the 4th floor overlooking the pool and has a beautiful view towards Wat Ban Pong

The room was very spacious and well-maintained. The plunge pool was clean and refreshing. The swimming pool has a gorgeous view and there were only a few other people around. It was nice to enjoy the high tea by the pool too. The breakfast was adequately varied and the food was well prepared and served. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Super serene location in the quieter part up the mountain of Hangdong. The air is fresh and it's peaceful and scenic. Staff are great. Very attentive, you really feel like a vip guest. At first glance you may feel the place looks slightly dated, which it may be, but it is generally well maintained. For two nights even in our plunge pool pavilion terrace, we had zero mosquitoe bites etc, with the exception of a scratching sound in the ceiling of our room but upon feedback, the staff managed to eradicate it. Highly recommend the in House massage and spa, the masseus is really good and the bed in the room is great, we got a really good rest on both nights The highlight of this place is its amazing view, from the pool, from your room. It was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is actually nicely filled! There were quite a few guests during our stay, but not too many to the point where you could thoroughly enjoy using the facilities

The infinite pool is great while there were only a few guests swimming at the same time. As such, it looks like it's your own pool. The restaurant where we might enjoy the beautiful view is a plus. We choosed the room type with mini pool, which is wonderful.

* Pool, the breakfast restaurant and views from the pool are the hotels forte. * Huge set up on vast hotel grounds, then again the rooms are all in a really large concrete appartment building but somehow it works with all the greenery. But activity centres around the pool, outside that there is not much soul to the place.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The setting is beautiful, as are the spacious rooms. The pool area was gorgeous, however, could've done with a rail and better non-slip tiling. Ate twice in the Thai restairant- excellent food. Breakfast in Creek cafe was plentiful and super selection. All staff were friendly and very professional. I would definitely stay again!

Great hotel with very pleasant and friendly staff, pool villas are amazing, hotel restaurant needs a better menu variety and better quality food for this standard of hotel, the only issue I had wasnt to do with hotel directly but the smoke and bugs noise during summer season March-May was very bad.

Property was beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms were clean and beddings spot on and comfortable. The shower tiles were a little mildewy. Cud have been cleaned better. Funky smell in the bathroom Mayb coming from the drain. Rain shower didn’t work, tho the regular shower worked fine. We did ask the front desk to send someone to fix it but still didn’t work when we arrived back to our room. We stayed 2 nights so it wasn’t such a big issue. Breakfast was decent. Location was quite far towards the mountain area. 15min to get to the main city road and then another 15-20 to get into the city area. If u r looking for a quite tranquil stay and plan for just an R&R then this wud b a place to stay. We wud recommend this place and go back there if the price is right. If u plan to do a lot of touristy things then plan to stay closer to the city unless u don’t mind the drive. A car is a must if u plan to stay here or u can spend using grab taxi which will cost u.

It's a very beautiful place to stay. Lots of flowers and flow of water. It takes hard work to maintain it and the staff did a great job. Breakfast was just above average, as I considered good enough.

The private pool area was beautifully landscaped. The sounds of waterfalls, which were both next to the room and behind the pool foliage, made for a very soothing and pleasant surprise. The service was professional and welcoming, the grounds were immaculate, and the entire resort had an exotic feel to it. The room had fantastic air-conditioning, water pressure, and hot water. The outdoor showers were luxurious.

Came back here after our last stay 12 years ago. The place is as magical as it was back then. You can find yourself staring endlessly at the rice paddies while sipping a cocktail. The resort is a prime example of the aesthetics that the Four Seaons does so well on its properties. We upgraded from a room overlooking the rice paddies to one of the newer villas with private pool. There is a bit of a trade-off to make here. The villas are wonderful and private. Sitting on the deck when the rain pounces down on the pool is magical. The trees that border the pool regularly drop lily flowers into the pool making it even more surreal. But in the villas you do not have the view over the rice field. Overall, I did love the villa choice. We alternated between hanging by our people and one of the two resort pools. The food is great, but I thought not as good as in the Tented Camp Golden Triangle Four Seasons where we also stayed. But like many Four Seasons in the world, this property has expanded over the years, and I missed the personalized service that is so unique to the Four Seasons.

Great experience since we got to the airport. A hotel staff was waiting to take us with a driver to the hotel. Car was very comfortable, offer water just perfect for a 40 min. ride. The Spa was excellent, beautiful your own private pool. The rooms were big with your own private gazebo. The staff was very helpful with accommodations to any site seeing. Food was amazing. Recomend taking the cooking class with your husband or wife. Great for honey moon or a family vacation. And we can't forget the water búfalos on site. Every morning at 8:30 they were waiting for you at the lobby to be touch or if you are small you can sit in them. AMAZING!!!!

Nice resort. Excellent Gym with hot sauna tube & pool nearby. Main pool is not what I expected but other pool option (at residence area) makes me happy. Good breakfast available. However not so much dining option inside of facility (very remoted hotel location so not so much option outside). I stayed farm side and it is special experience. We stayed 6 days at this Four Season resort but too pricy comparing with other hotel resort in Chiang Mai. Lower price can host more visitors I think.

Wow, what an incredible place. As soon as you step foot inside the grounds of this property, you feel totally relaxed. It is a stunning, peaceful oasis, but close enough to be able to walk to downtown Chiang Mai. We loved our beautiful rooms and had amazing sleep, and especially loved the large balcony. We had a connecting room via balcony with our kids, and we all said this was the most restful sleep we had on our whole trip! The breakfast was wonderful, and we really loved the pool, too! We wished we could have stayed longer than just two nights, but we'll never forget the piano music drifting through the air in the evenings and the quiet mornings looking out over the grounds from our balcony with coffee. Their staff go above and beyond and organized everything for us so that we could truly just let go and experience our vacation, it was seamless!

As we arrived at 137 Pillars after our 15 minute ride from the airport, we were greater by lavender tea in their open air lobby. We were assigned a butler who we could contact 24/7 for any of our hotel needs. We spent the afternoon lounging by the beautiful pool and live wall. The staff were some of the friendliest who served us in Thailand. Our room was impeccably clean. We received complimentary water, robes, sandals, and bath salts. The morning breakfasts were the best we had in Thailand. We spent one afternoon getting traditional thai massages at their spa. Dinner's at 137 pillars were excellent as well. Pui was our personal butler and she was outstanding. We still text her occasionally to se how she is doing. My wife cried when we left.

Exceptional boutique hotel in a very convenient and quiet part of Chiang Mai. The staff is very warm and helpful, responding quickly to any need. The food at the hotel was exceptional as well. Wonderful breakfast every morning to satisfy any taste. Gorgeous pool on the grounds with such a relaxing vibe. We truly feel it is an oasis amidst the cacophony that is the nearby town, and felt like we were returning home every day! Ann the general manager was kind to visit with us daily and gave us many tips to enhance our stay. The rooms were gorgeous and quiet. Just an overall elegant place to stay that you should not miss! We highly recommend it and will certainly return there for our next visit! Well done 137 Pillars ❤️

This is a must-visit hotel. While Chiang Mai was underwhelming (given its grand reputation), I'd return just to visit this absolute gem. The "137 Pillars" house is immaculately refurbished - a showcase of its darkwood elegance and an antique collection, while draped in the latest lush fabrics. Flowers and art are at every turn of the tropical garden around the house. The long, cool pool is super satisfying after a hot day in town, though its deck is a bit cramped. The spacious rooms are all relatively new but do not disappoint - chic Asian style at its best - especially the grand bathrooms and large outdoor showers. Oh, also loved the museum under the house. And the manager was fabulously friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful hotel with a great pool for relaxing. The room had a slight musty smell, but that seemed normal for Thailand. The room was clean and decorated nicely. Amazing outdoor shower. Pond, the valet, was really nice, helpful and engaging. One girl at the front desk was a little snobby; the other people at the front desk were great. Our friends in Chiang Mai went to inspect the hotel, before we arrived. They did not want us to stay here because of the rude front desk. I'm sure it was the snobby girl. We stayed at 137 Pillars because of the location, and we would stay there again.

This hotel is located about 5-10 mins from Mae Rim center. It was a lovely experience. The rooms were very big and spacious. The staff were very friendly. The pool is in the middle of the hotel, and it is very nice. Overall, great value for money, and I would recommend staying here if you are spending time in Mae Rim. We will definitely come back in the future!

Good Location. The Staff are friendly and very helpful. The Place is clean too. They upgraded us into Family Suite...Bathroom is huge. Pool was clean and the water so clear. We had alot of fun. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chiang Mai ( Mae Rim)

The rooms are very clean, private and quiet. Staff very good service, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Ans also spa it very nice make me relax I will come back again for sure 💯 lovely warm welcome and beautiful surroundings with an amazing atmosphere. Fantastic artw. Refreshing pool

Outside of Chiangmai city but so close to many other attractions this little oasis is a perfect getaway! Delicious breakfast, wonderful pool and large comfortable rooms with lots of attention to details!

One of the first things that I noticed when checking in was the amazing architecture and design of this hotel. It felt like I was staying at a historical site. The staff are really friendly and, although English does not bode well, they will do anything for you. I asked if they hire out scooters and whilst they don't they offered to let me rent the cooks scooter for the day. Pro's: Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Amazing pool. Breakfast was freshly cooked for me (they need better fly protection than plastic wrap for the fruit) Close to some attractions including orchid garden and animal shows. (avoid the croc show unless you like watching a trainer antagonise a croc for 10 mins, stick his arm down its throat, his head in its mouth and then invite you to sit on the croc for tips) Cons: You really need a car, scooter or be prepared to pay for taxis to stay here. Some of the fixtures and fittings are showing their age. One example is my wash basin leaked. Curtains are sparse will prevent you sleeping in. Held open by pegs. There were no English channels on my TV. Bring a book if you don't speak Thai. All up I really enjoyed my few nights here.

This is a unique property. The villas or Thai homes are well worth the see and stay. They are fully appointed. After a day of touring, an afternoon dip into a private pool is a top experience. The visual scenes are a blend of a zen garden, high end Bali resort and art gallery. Loved it. The management handled a delayed luggage and cooking class requests with excellence and focus. Spend at least 2 nights here, wish we booked for 4+.

Wonderful hotel with great service. Beautiful, stylish decor, comfortable room with lovely furnishings. Good food, presented nicely. Gorgeous grounds with unusual plants, inviting swimming pool. In all my travels, the service we received was the best and most personal.

마하비룸에 숙박한건 정말 정말 이번 치앙마이 여행에서 신의 한수였어요! 원베드 풀빌라 예약했구요~ 프라이빗 수영장에서 편하게 즐겼어요! 무엇보다 직원분들이 너무너무 친절했어요! 지배인님이 인사도 반갑게 해주시고, 체크인할때 숙소 이곳저곳을 안내해주시고! 바에서 칵테일 마실때 도와준 직원분이나, 조식 담당해 주신분, 체크아웃할때 도와주신분 모두모두 감동이었습니다. 조식은 정말 맛있었고 홈메이드쨈도 남김없이 먹었어요! 숙소도 너무너무 예뻣어요! 갤러리에서 하루 보낸것 같은 느낌이예요! 이전 호텔 3박 가격을 더한것보다 비쌋지만 후회없어요! 다음에 또 치앙마이 간다면 다시 꼭 가고싶어요! 비행기 소리가 들리긴 하지만 그것을 감안할 정도로 좋았어요! 하지만 해피아워 칵테일 이용할 때, 물이 필요하냐고 물어봐서 주셨는데, 나중에 보니 요금이 추가되었더라구요, 룸에 비치되어있는 물이랑 같았는데 비용이 부과된것에 조금 개선이 필요할것 같아요! 아니면 비용추가 여부를 안내하거나요~ 룸에는 물을 아낌없이 주셨거든요~ 하지만 제가 방문했었던 모든 풀빌라를 통틀어 가장 기억에 남아요! 모든 직원분들께 감사드립니다.

The staff were amazing and they made us feel at home!! It was my birthday and I was greet with fresh arrangement of flowers at our room and a touching card! This place was so unique and the ground’s stunning!! Peace and tranquility surrounded you in every inch of the grounds!!! The food was wonderful and staff very attentive, polite and welcoming!! Could not recommend this place enough!! Also quick walk to a temple and little town with an amazing bakery and of course a small 7-11 😊
