We loved our stay here, it was perfect for our baby moon. We stayed at the family room with pool access, and it was perfect! High ceilings, spacious, clean and the beds were super comfortable. Although most of the staff couldn’t speak English, but they were very polite, and tbh we should probably be the ones to brush up our Chinese! Peggy at the front desk was very lovely, the 1 kitchen manager was super welcoming, and the massage was amazing! Thank you for looking after us!

We absolutely loved the service provided by the welcoming staff, the clean rooms and the hotel's sustainability ethos. The housekeeping lady on the 9th floor did such a great job every day. And the front desk went out of their way to help us. Facilities are also amazing, but it was a pity 2 out of 3 pools were closed for maintenance. We are 1 Hotel converts, if every property kept true to your green mission. Would loved to stay again :)

Amazing hotel with great staff. At the reception the staff speaks good English, which is very rare for this region. Amazing breakfast that is suitable for foreigners. The design of the hotel is amazing, everything is very beautiful and pleasing to the eye. A swimming pool with a transparent bottom is top. There is a sky bar on the roof of the hotel with modern music. I am satisfied with my stay and will recommend this hotel to friends.

The male attendant at the front desk was excellent, very friendly and extremely helpful. The room service was also very good; upon learning that we couldn't sleep on soft beds, they flipped the mattress to the harder side for us. The lifeguard at the pool was also very welcoming.

It's a good experience to live with my mother and niece in her eighties. The environment of the hotel community is beautiful and quiet. The landlord is warm, thoughtful and serious, and you can get warm service at any time when you encounter problems. The balcony in front of the hotel faces the blue sea, and it is refreshing to see the sea and the sky at a glance. Looking at the back balcony, you can see the lush mountains, which is really eye-catching. There is also an open-air swimming pool in the hotel area. The water quality is good and clear. I went swimming for half an hour yesterday afternoon, which felt great! The short vacation is coming to an end, and we will return home. Mom said she would come again and stay in this hotel. It's the first time I've taken my mother to travel so far. I'm very happy that she likes it and plants grass in her heart! Finally, I wish the hotel owner a prosperous business and financial resources!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at Sanya Haitang Bay Muyu Time Seaview Apartment. The apartment was spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean, with the added bonus of a swimming pool. The location was fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to the beach, and the territory was secure, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met throughout our stay. The amenities were top-notch, including a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in Sanya!

The room is very clean, the supplies are very full, there is a public pool for swimming, you can also cook, the cleaning lady will come to clean every other day, the service staffattitude is good, the service is great

The villa is very big and beautiful. Generally clean. Good for big gathering. There's also a pool table and mini trampoline in the games room.

The apartment was spacious, clean and with everything we needed. It was cleaned every two days with fresh towels provided. The pool was great and a welcome relief. The owner was great in communication and the staff were on hand when we needed. Whilst the location is a significant distance from Sanya, everything we needed was in walking distance. Great beach (20mins) Street side restaurants (10). Grocery store (10mins). We had a driver for the week which gave us access to the tourist attractions.

Environment, the pool, the room and the host.

We loved that it was a private owned B&B with very nice hosts and not tourist crowds. The communication had to be with translation-app, but it worked very well. The owners' daughter replied all messages very quickly. Breakfast was authentic and tasty chinese food - and if you needed more, you could always get more. They served their own green tea which was very tasty. And if you wanted to go to a hiking tour, the husband lead you to an off-the-crowd-track alongside the bamboo forest and tea-plants. Down the village next to the lake there were some nice restaurants to have dinner in walking distance.

We had a lovely stay for 3 days and 3 nights, hte host was very welcoming, she was always available to assist us with things we needed and gave us great information about the local area

The host was super friendly, and she went far and beyond to help us. I can't think of a better place to enjoy my holidays.

Great place for a gateway. Located at the bottom of the mountain park you are near the touristic village down the mountain (not up the top that is more remote and more natural). It's a family run BnB they are very good at welcoming, and they even shared their diner with us as we came in low season and were the only guest in the villa, that has 9 bedroom in total. It got cold at night (5 degree outdoor) but they provided us with extra heater for the temperature, and extra lighting to get a more cosy vibe in the room. Sky glass ceiling and waking up with view on the mountain was breathtaking. The common room have music, bar and billard to play. Chimney too but wasn't available this time because not clean.

The room was fantastic, the Aquarium and Aqua restaurant were also unmissable. The breakfast was probably the best of the included breakfasts we experienced in the 6 different hotels we stayed at. The pool was heated, unlike the previous pool at the previous hotel which was only good for doing laps. Live music in the evenings was also very nice.

Generally the service coincide well with good practices of Intercontinental, namely good and properly equipped room, it is not necessary to ask them to bring toiletries or something, everything is in place. Personnel is attentive and tries to do their best. Coming to Hainan today you should be aware that practically nobody could speak English (and most probably other languages as well), few of them can understand, and you should be patient enough to explain what you want. If you succeed, everything will be done in a blink of an eye and completely in accordance with what was understood. I recommend having mobile internet available to use on-line translation services, which is helpful, but not a guarantee. Hotel restaurants are good quality, but extremely expensive. Breakfast was nice, especially its Chinese dishes, Western part was much more dull and usual. Swimming pools are in perfect condition (as for me, they were too shallow). And it is a pool with sea water, fishes and turtles, which is worthy to mention, and they organise aqualung diving there ;-) instead of open sea. It could be mentioned that there is a duty-free shopping centre nearby where there are a number of good (maybe not very cheap) restaurants, which are twice cheaper than ones in the hotel.

Hotel was great. Family friendly with excellent suite. We stayed in the family suite, it was very comfortable, large, clean and nicely decorated. The facilities were great for kids, with a nice pool and kids playroom for when we had a rainy day. Good location on the beach and the section of beach was great too. The staff were great which always makes a big difference. Cathy was really helpful during our stay. Doris and the club restaurant staff were fantastic, always polite, helpful and happy. Breakfast was excellent every morning in the cove, massive selection of food and again, staff were superb. Hope to return in December.

There are lots of activities for children all included with the price of our room. Plus an arcade that my children loved. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. I lost my phone and one of the cleaning staff helped me find it. It was my daughter’s birthday and they surprised her with a cake and souvenir bag. The breakfast buffet was incredible and the Chinese dinner we had at their Chinese restaurant was delicious. The room was spacious, clean with a bath on the balcony. 2 pools, excellent kids indoor play area and access to the beach.

This resort was next to duty free mall and a large-size food quarter. There was an underwater restaurant surrounded by an aquarium. There were two large lagoon pools in this resort. Club lounge was located in the top floor to give you a stunning sea view and sunrise view. Happy hour in the club lounge and breakfast in the restaurant were great! Free shuttle buses operate from this resort to Sanya airport.

I liked private pool it was so nice. Room was big. They gave us extra bed without problem. Staff service was good.

Check in was slow and the room wasn't ready when it should have been. Hotels.com said there was a sofa bed in the room, which is why we booked it as we have 2 young children, no sofa bed when we got there, they had the description wrong!!! We eventually got a roll away bed for the children, but it wasn't really big enough. Room service, the main grill, the lobby, the pool, all served the same limited menu, it needs more differentiating between them and the main grill restaurant had a great menu at lunch time, but then a very restricted one in the evening!!! Room was great, nice and big, great view and a huge bath overlooking the sea, but do try to get a high room or you will have to drop the blinds when you get into the bath! Great pools, if a bit cold, shame there is NO swimming allowed on the beach, think this should be down to personal choice and not just a blanket policy. Also the pool bar could have been a great spot for a sundowner, unfortunately there was hardly ever someone to serve there, no stock unless you wanted Chinese beer, and half the view is ruined by a big brick building right next to the bar, not sure what the architect was thinking!!! This all sounds negative, however we had a great time, sunshine, pool, food and drink, lovely grounds!

Staffs are very polite and friendly and eager to help. However most of staffs have limited English communication skill. It would be helpful to provide basic English language training to staffs in order to serve international customers that don't speak Mandarin. Staff can be better trained to advise families with kids to stay out of "adult only" pools since there are a lot others kids and children pools. Unfortunately a lot of kids are occupying the only adult designated pool and make it noisy (staffs are there but provide no advise to those families with kids). My overall experience is very good and satisfaction.

The hotel is unquestionably beautiful. The grounds are lush and gorgeously landscaped and maintained. Our room and the public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained. We were very disappointed in a beachfront hotel whose beachfront we were forbidden to swim in. We understood that this was for safety reasons but we did not know this in advance. We were restricted to the hotel family pool because the "grownups" pool was closed. The family pool was crowded and very warm.

This hotel is as good as the description. However, there are 3 things that was discouraging: 1. The hotel doen't provide chairs and beach umbrellas at the beach. Understand it's a new rule from the local Government (explained by a staff), but it does affect the value from a guest point of view. 2. Some facilities are getting old and stained, in need of some maintenance. 3. One of pools there was for adults only when I visited 2 years ago. It was a great area to relax, have a swim, drink and eat. However, it's now full of kids... jumping and yelling, the same as the other pools.

There’s about 100 villas so the resort is pretty large. Our villa was great as well as our own ~20m private pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. Several restaurants were just fine, room service available

The breakfast is so so. Yet, the environment is really nice, our family enjoy our stay in both the beach and the private pool. Also, the staff is very helpful.

Villas are spacious and hideaway from each other. Rooms are well equipped. A private pool makes a stay more comfortable. Menus both at breakfast and dinner are various and delicious, including both Asian and European meals.

Great amenities and friendly staff. They accommodated elders in my group with extra care and provided shuttles/wheelchairs. They also provided infants tents/crib/shower tub free of charge. The swimming pool has amazing views and in-house pools are cleaned daily. Overall great experience.

The yard is filled with lush flowers and plants, and the swimming pool is crystal clear. In the evening, watching the setting sun on the terrace is incredibly pleasant. The rooms are warmly decorated, the facilities are brand new, and the housekeeper's service is attentive and thoughtful. The overall experience is simply wonderful!

The rooms are spacious, clean and exquisitely decorated. The hotel facilities, such as the swimming pool and the fitness center, are first-class. The breakfast offers a wide variety and tastes delicious. It is highly recommended!

Free use of public swimming pool in the community

The environment is elegant and comfortable, making people feel extremely relaxed. The room is very clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The bedding is comfortable, allowing me to have a sound sleep throughout the night.

The location of the guesthouse is very convenient, the rooms are spacious and bright, the beds are comfortable, the service is good, and it's a pleasant stay.

The landscape of the resort with all the plants and the laberynth of pools set into it is absolutely stunning. you could easily swim to a spot in the shade under one of the palm trees at any time, -an important design feature. The temperature controlled infinity pool was amazing, with a nice breeze and a zen view of the South China Sea. Other than in Thailand it is probably one of the most beautiful resorts I've ever been to, you really feel like you are somewhere exotic & can really wind down. Breakfast was great and you could roll up at 10.30 and casually take stuff and the staff would leave everything out for you -no panic rush to clean up. With their variety of fruits yogurts & greek salads and cold cuts & the nice expresso the nice girl made for me everyday, it very often turned into a lazy brunch.. The evening bbq was good with surprisingly fantastic sushi, but a little excessive, most nights I would opt for the starters at Fresh, -awesome tuna & scallops etc. (and bread and butter) & listen to the cool Philippine band above at the bar. Thanks Alex on reception that help with anything super fast, but also I think some credit needs to go to the army of people taking care of this place that go quietly unseen, the gardeners, housekeeping I never saw or heard so nice, buggy drivers on demand etc. Cheers! They had a nice quiet fitness centre too to hide from the 2pm heat, oh, and the massage with the precious metal bowl, -unbelievable..

We had an awesome time and the stay was deeply relaxing. We were welcomed with a chain of flowers around the neck by the receptionist and got driven to our hotel room by a hotel buggy. The room is spacious and we were able to see the sea. Overall, the environment had an asian comteporary style with a lot of exotic plants and lovely flowers. We loved the hotel pools. When we went there in June it was low season in Sanya so that many facilities were quite empty such as sun chairs, pools, restaurants etc. The breakfast had rich variety and was every delicious. The service was very good - everyone was dedicated to help us and serve whenever we had an inquiry. During the day, the hotel offered some activities such as yoga or beach volleyball. The yoga teacher was very professional. Also, the gym had excellent facilities. The location of the hotel is Dadonghai. To reach the bar and restaurent street we had to take a cab (5-10 yuan). I would highly recommend a stay in the Sanya Mandarin Oriental.

Grand facility, really good staff. English sometimes was a struggle though. Fresh restaurant is magnificent, i ended up having 3 of my 4 dinners there. Other restaurants are good too. Beach is ok but small, pools are plenty and variable

Tolle Anlage mit einem hervorragendem Team. Alle herzlich und „die Wünsche von den Augen ablesend“. Für ein paar ruhige Tage - inklusive Erwachsenem-Pool - sehr empfehlenswert. Auch die Restaurants waren kulinarisch wie servicetechnisch sehr gut. Rundum ein tolles Erlebnis.

Traumhafte Anlage mit herrlichem Palmengarten und toller Pool-Landschaft. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auf der gesamten Anlage herrschte eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Essen war ausgesprochen gut und die Zimmer geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet.

Hotel is in a nice and safe location with easy access to transportation and a big mall nearby with good shopping and dining options. Note that swimming at the beach is not allowed and the adult pool was closed as of April 2025, which we weren’t aware when we booked. Lots of really nice facilities for kids of all ages. Decent service though most staff does not speak English at all.

Hotel an sich ist sehr gut. Schöne Anlage mit gutem Service. Zimmer sind großzügig mit einem schönen Badezimmer. Aquarium Restaurant ist definitiv ein Besuch wert. Was uns aber sehr gestört hat, ist das der Strand obwohl sehr schön, nicht zum Sonnenbaden und schwimmen freigegeben ist. Laut aussage auf Anordnung der Provinz Regierung. Und nur zum Spazieren gehen am Strand würde ich da nicht mehr hingehen. Pool ist ok aber richtig schwimmen im Meer ist etwas anderes.

一間非常合適一家大小渡假的酒店。房間非常寬敞，床舖、嬰兒床也非常乾淨、衛生。有點失望是沒有提供咖啡機，未能在大海景的露台裡邊hea邊歎咖啡。而且電視台選擇極不理想，連DisneyChannel或CartoonNetwork也未能提供，使女兒只能看央視少兒台，hahaha.... 酒店前大草坪，可在草地上玩大半天也沒問題，而且滅蚊工作做得很好，一粒也沒有咬過。 沙灘很寧靜，不過懷疑有很多不是酒店的遊客在使用，而且放置毛巾的櫃是上了鎖，未能取用。泳池是細了一點、讓小朋友玩的設施也不夠，而剛巧到埗的第一二天天氣較涼，池水很冰，不能下水，只能待在小小的熱水按摩池裡與大媽們共游。但女職員很細心還替女兒披好毛巾，免她著涼。 兒童室每天提供不同活動給小朋友，參加了在海底隧道舉行之繪畫班，非常開心。 兒童室也多遊樂設施，但反斗車王、馬達加斯加企鵝便反覆播放（我也被逼看了兩三次），而女兒的拖鞋竟在門外被偷走（已經提防被誤取而寫上了「中文姓名」！怒！） 餐廳質素不錯，但選擇較少，但可以走到五分鐘旁的商場food court用餐。建議可以有接駁車去商場，拖著兩個小孩走過爛路到商場，又要經過停車場，頗危險。 機場往酒店車程比較遠，酒店有專車接載，但班次很少，而且接不到由香港來的港龍班次，要我們自費300人民幣到酒店（來回共用了600元）。 要留意房間浴室地面較滑，一歲多的小兒子便在四天裡滑倒三次，碰到頭哇哇大哭。

I had a wonderful stay! The facilities were clean and comfortable, but what truly made my experience exceptional was the outstanding service. Special Thank you to Avril, for making my visit so memorable! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay with top-notch service.

A genuine peaceful paradise within a rainforest with stunning views. We booked an Egret Villa with a pool and this was the absolute best choice. The water was the perfect temperature and was fantastic for cooling down in the hot humid weather. The Egret Villas are also walking distance to the breakfast restaurant so no need for a shuttle bus. The villa was huge with stunning views throughout, completely privacy and everything you need. You are staying in a rainforest, so accept the fact that you may spot the occasional lizard around and you'll see many birds and insects. The sounds of the rainforest at night are pretty magical. The park itself is huge, we had no idea how much there was. Shuttle buses are free and as a hotel guest you can use Wechat to request one at any time. There's glass walkways, scenic spots, a water slide, a rope bridge and more. The restaurants were all brilliant. We had Breakfast in the "Western Restaurant" which is mainly Chinese food but plenty of Western food too. Food was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We also tried the Thai restaurant next door to it, and caught a shuttle bus to the Barbecue one evening which was incredible. This is a mainly Chinese resort, so don't expect any of the staff to be able to speak english and make sure you learn a bit before you go! Lots of the restaurant staff practiced their english with me, but you'll need basic Chinese skills to get around.

This past June I visited this maintain resort for my fiancé birthday. The experience was remarkable. The resort is not only exquisite, with stoning views of Yalong bay, but also affordable for its high-end status. Located inside the Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, the villas are strategically set around the mountains offering a front seat to breath taking sunsets and sea view, as its name imply, you really feel like suspended on a nest inside the lush vegetation. The service is as perfect as the views and the personnel always happy to cater for the guesses needs, I have to shout out manager Sun who helps us from the moment we step into the resort until the moment we left, Thanks a lot. Its counts with several amenities like; Zipline, restaurants, petting zoo, infinity pools, water slide, movie theater, kids’ indoor gym, gym, etc. there is something for everyone in the group. Highly recommend the resort if you want to have a vacation that will recharge your batteries. We decided to make the visit an every year ritual.

You can really feel the nature and enjoy in the environment , best option to book the hotel and see all the attractions they offer, you have to try the Thai restaurant, the food is amazing, be there early to catch the best table & the best sunset view.
