Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Colonia del Sol

First time in Cabo and had the best time ever! Food was amazing - the buffet offered something different every night but the taco offerings and lamb chops were so good!!! We enjoyed a swim up room by the quiet pool and loved every view we had.

We had an amazing relaxing week. We loved having the swim up rooms!!

We held a birthday event here and had a guest list of 36 people. The resort was a great location and close to downtown Cabo. Its a beautiful resort with numerous amenities. I will say that the food was not as good as I anticipated as I have stayed at other RIU's where the food was phenomenal. The food here was hit or miss. Breakfast was definitely the best meal of the day. I also noted that the food preparers did not wear gloves which also raise my concern. I suggest gloves going forward. I had a swim up room which i loved. I wished the bed was a king vs two doubles but i loved my room.

Stayed at the Riu Palace with 25 guys for a stag from April 10th to 15th. It was fantastic with no issues. Check in and check out was a breeze. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The mini bar was stocked daily with large waters, sodas and beer etc. all the bars including the swim up bars were excellent with a variety of delicious drinks. All the staff was very friendly and work their bums off. The breakfast buffet was excellent with so many options. Highly recommended the Japanese ala carte, it was delicious. There were no issues with upset stomach etc. highly recommended the Riu Palace Cabo

We loved the Riu Palace!! There was always something going on that you could participate in if you wanted. The swim up bar was amazing. The only thing that was a bummer was we weren't able to eat at the Japanese restaurant or steak house. While on the website it says there could be a wait time, we didn't realize there would be a chance to not get in at all. Besides that, everything was amazing!!!!

The property is expansive - there are a lot of dining options, and stores on the property since it’s about 30 minutes away from downtown Cabo. The room we booked had a private pool which overlooked the main pool. It was a beautiful room; they cleaned twice and day. It was comfortable, and they were more than happy to bring us ice and any room service we needed.

We just got back from Nobu Los Cabos and overall had a great time — but it didn’t start that way. Check-in was slow and felt pretty disorganized, which was annoying after a long trip. Once we settled in though, things turned around. Our swim-out room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed. Housekeeping kept everything spotless every day and we really appreciated the attention to detail. The food was honestly one of the highlights. The steakhouse was excellent, and Nobu restaurant itself lived up to the hype — fresh, flavorful dishes across the board. Breakfast at Nami was something we looked forward to every morning and never got tired of. The service throughout the resort was warm, friendly, and professional. The property has a really calm, peaceful feel — perfect for unwinding. Other than the check-in hiccup, everything else was smooth and worth the price. We’d definitely come back.

Hotel was ok. Don’t get conned into going to the residences “presentation.” We were told that it would be 75-minutes but when we got there we told them we had to leave at noon for an afternoon excursion (3.5 hours after the start time) and they scolded us saying we said we didn’t have any excursions that morning, which we didn’t. Was a real bad way to start our 1st morning of the trip. The highlights of the trip tho were the staff and our personal convenience, Salvatore. He was great, got us everything we needed including last minute reservations. Salvatore was an A+ experience. Also, Caleb at the swim up bar was exceptional and had some off menu drinks that were awesome!

Our trip to Nobu was amazing! Loved the room, complex, pools, staff, and vibe of the resort. It was not too crowded, never had to fight for a pool chair which was great. Pools are good temperatures. Do be aware that food and drinks are expensive. Salvador was amazing, and helped set up all our reservations. Highly recommend going through him for everything and anything you need.

Came to Nobu Residence with my wife and daughter for a family vacation. We don’t come to Cabos that often because frankly there really isn’t much to do around the hotel. (Unless you take a long taxi ride out of the hotel) So when our family was discussing where to go, we were reluctant to choose Los Cabos. But we saw the pictures of Nobu residence. Especially our room. Two bedroom with pool. We made the reservation right away and when we finally got there it was magic. Great architecture and beautiful lighting all around. Top notch staff. Great pools (3 of them) and restaurants. We enjoyed everything Nobe residence had to offer and what made our trip more memorable was our personal concierge, Rigoberto. He contacted me often and made sure we were good and made all the arrangements and reservations for our meals. He was on top of everything and we didn’t worry about anything at all. I highly recommend Nobu residence and even higher, Rigoberto as your concierge.

The master suite was so beautiful and spacious! The resort grounds were clean and all of the staff were extremely helpful and kind! Enjoyed the swim up bar at the pool.

The staff was amazing! So attentive and friendly, Servando was so welcoming and always made sure we had the best cabana. Roberto (swim up bar) and Fernando were awesome!

My family and I had the most wonderful time here. This was our first time at an all inclusive and the room, food and service exceeded our expectations. Our concierge Geronimo went above and beyond at every moment to look after us. As a queer family we were attracted to the hotel because of its positive ratings and we were not disappointed. On the occasion of being treated poorly by a staff member at the one restaurant on site not run by the hotel, the whole reserve team , especially our concierge, Geronimo, jumped into action to remedy the situation. We genuinely felt taken care of. We had an amazing Spa day and felt super relaxed and taken care of. The beach and area of ocean safe to swim in are magical. Away from the crowds of Cabo san Lucas the Paradisus is a gem of a hotel. We look forward to going back soon!

the pizza place is an amazing spot to Relax, grab a drink and eat some delicious food. lunch is amazing especially when Isabel is your waitress. the swim up bar is a great place to really catch a good buzz my friend Jose knows how to make the best drinks around. You really can’t beat this place.

Incredibly clean. Six excellent restaurants for dinner and multiple food service options for breakfast or lunch. Great drinks service poolside with three beautiful pool options with swim up bars. Additional options available at their sister property in the marina area of Cabo with frequent shuttle service between the two. Perfect place to completely relax with no need for planning if you take the all inclusive option. Would absolutely stay at this property again.

We did the all inclusive plan and the dining food options were surprisingly delicious. They maintain the property really well. It’s rather quiet. The views are beautiful. I would definitely go back what I didn’t like. Was the plunge pool on our balcony tends to be cooler water. And there’s not much to do after 8 o’clock, but if you’re looking for something quiet and great views, this is it.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for the fist time and we were VERY happy. BEAUTIFUL!! First, I'm very glad I decided to send a message to the resort prior to arriving. I asked them for help booking all of my dinner reservations, an atv/camel adventure glass boat tour and spa treatments. Manny helped me and he was fantastic! He had an itinerary waiting for us when we arrived. We checked in first. We did not take advantage of the "premium all inclusive" NOT NECessary for us. Unlimited, all we could drink and a choice of 6 different places to eat, was plenty for us. We got pesos before arriving at the resort. was good so we had tipping money the entire trip. we also rented a car at the airport. That was a pain. Not sure if we would do it again, as the resort is abt13 min. drive from the marina. NOTE that if you do decide to rent a car, YOU MUST opt in for their insurance. It worked out for us because we were only staying a wk. They put a hold on about $400 USD (as they do in the US)... Our room was a luxury suite, make sure to note at check in if you have VIP access ask them to explain your benefits. you get some extra discounts and upgrades, parking incl.. if you don't bring it up, it might get missed. Our room was a luxury suite w/plunge pool. Spectacular view. The rooms don't get super cold but I wasn't uncomfortable. They clean each day. The food was great. Carts will drive u arnd resort. Lupita and Hena at the Spa were GREAT! Upon checkout daily tax/sanitation ch

My studio in Phase 1 was not the best this year. The air conditioning was very difficult to regulate unless it was turned completely off, thus the room was freezing. Light fixtures need replaced. I am an owner in Phase 1 and this is the first time I was disappointed. Also, the lounge chair situation this year at pool #1 was a major problem, not enough chairs for the number of guests at pool 1. We had to skip our all inclusive breakfast so that we could arrive at the pool early enough to acquire seats. The pool concierge (female) was policing the area the entire day, if you left you seat vacant for more than 30 minutes your personal items were in jeopardy of being removed and your chair taken. Not very relaxing to say the least! If you purchase an all inclusive meal and drink ticket be prepared to loose out of at least 80% of your meals and drinks due to the monitoring of chairs. Even in a group you have to have one person on your lounge every 30 minutes so it's impossible to take turns going for meals. Perhaps the logic behind this is you loose money while the resort saves it!

Amazing service! Amazing food and views! I would highly recommend upgrading to a Casita with a rooftop plunge pool. 10/10!!!

Marquis Los Cabos was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional — every staff member made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for, with warm, attentive service throughout our stay. The entire property is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views at every turn, and the adults-only, no-timeshare atmosphere made it all the more peaceful and relaxing. I'd booked two Eden Casitas, one for me and one for my friend and they were like little vacation spots in and of themselves. The Casita was truly a dream — private, beautifully appointed, and featuring a plunge pool, which made it feel like my own little sanctuary within the resort. Having that private space to unwind, with the ocean in the background, was pure luxury. The spa service was another highlight — the treatments were professional, serene, and rejuvenating, Loved the cabana service by the pool; the staff was so attentive without ever feeling overbearing, making sure we had everything we needed to simply relax and enjoy every moment. The dining options were excellent as well — creative, delicious, and beautifully presented, with great drinks and a good variety to choose from. If you’re looking for a truly luxurious, relaxing, and welcoming experience in Cabo, Marquis Los Cabos is an amazing choice. Can’t wait to return!

Restaurants were excellent. Service was excellent. Plenty of sunbeds by pool (but prime location ones get taken very early). Excellent pool. Unfortunately couldn’t swim in sea as very strong currents (this is normal here I believe) but the pools were superb and not overcrowded. Great entertainment. Superb service everywhere including at sunbeds by the pools. Overall extremely satisfied.

WOW! We had an amazing experience at Marquis Los Cabo. The view from our balcony overlooking the beach was absolutely breathtaking. Room cleaned and modern, housekeeping did an awesome job daily. We had a little bit of rain our second day but that didn’t prevent us from enjoying the infinity pool with an amazing view of the ocean. We had both sunrise cabanas for Saturday and Sunday. Poolside service was superb. Maricruz went out of her way to assist us so we specifically asked for her for Sunday cabana service for our party. Maricruz constantly checked in on us making sure we had everything we needed throughout our use of the cabanas. Amazing! The food was good, plenty of variety and options. We preferred food service poolside which had wood oven pizza a must. Taco stations varieties of meats and endless sides and condiments with fresh guacamole and chips. The manager worked with the chef and prepared us a Molcajetes with beautiful slices of cheeses, beef, cactus, chorizos and shrimp serve with salsa and hot corn and flour tortillas, hot fresh churros with caramel and chocolate sauce. All brought to our cabana. WOW! OMG! Such amazing experience. The highlights of our stay were the different nightly entertainment, outdoor beachfront. Mariachis and folklorico dancing, acrobatics live band playing 80’s and 90’s. Food service during the entertainment nightly. We all agreed that we would return. Thank you everyone!

We had such a great swim up experience with margarita, Erick, Angel, Antonio, and The captain Oscar. They were engaging and fun. They kept the drinks flowing and the mood light. Also the sushi was on point especially the special Sushi roll. Thanks to the team at La Pergola. They did a great job.

Juan Ramon was our server at the swim up bar near the pizza restaurant and he was absolutely amazing. We went back again just for him! Terrific service and so friendly!

We renewed our vows at this resort and it was perfect! We had the ceremony on the beach and reception at the Las Marias Terrace and everything was amazing (except the hot sun during our ceremony, but its OK). We had a group of 50 people (mix of adults and children) so it was hard to dine together, but the resort did it's best to accommodate us when it could. We really enjoyed the free upgrade to the Vista Villas, thanks to the awesome hotel manager, Mauricio :) We stayed at the Encanto Suites in 11/2019 and it was great with the spacious suite, kitchenette, little pool on the balcony and the ocean view. Needless to say, we fell in love and definitely wanted to bring our family back. I also wanted to thank our Vista butler Omar, who was awesome in taking care of us with anything during our stay. He made sure our rooms were cleaned and stocked with beers and waters everyday! And my wonderful vow renewal event planner, Daniela. She was so sweet and detailed in helping me plan for the vow renewal, everyone in my party had a blast and said it was perfectly unforgettable! But just to be honest, some things you might have to expect when coming here is the service at the swim up bars are slow. Seems like the staff only come over to help you when you give a lot of tips. Also, make sure to make reservations if you plan to eat at the Marina resort area. We went there one day & no one seemed to know when the restaurant would open. They said 11, then 1130, then 12- wasted time :(

This property was an Suprise. I have underestimate the size and quality of this place. The only thing I would comment there were not enough umbrellas by the pools for everyone. Pool service personals had not the I am happy to work here attitude. Occasionally it felt like we bother them to get us drinks. I did not like staff of 4 employees ( apparently inspection ) were dinning in hotel guests area by the pool...does not appear to me professional. The driveway to resort is not as glamorous as other resorts do have. Otherwise we loved this resort. Spotless, groomed to perfection, the best resort I have seen so far in Mexico to accommodate children to play fun and safe in pool areas.

My wife and I came to enjoy some time of relaxation and fun. We love Hacienda Encantada. The service was good everywhere we went. Tania Santillon the pool concierge was exceptional if you need anything you can see her and she will take care of you. The pool waiters and waitress were awesome. We had Ingrid Angel, Omar and Juan as our servers. All three were awesome and always around when you needed service. All servers always had a smile and greeted us when we walked by them. The head waiter was welcoming, very friendly and wanted the guest to feel welcomed. Great experience this week at Hacienda Encantada. The pool remodel looks real good. The service at the Pizza restaurant was good. What was not good was we were told to come to the lobby to pick up our room keys at 4:00. We did and there was a long line of people checking in. We had to wait 30 minutes along with others trying to pick up their room keys. They need an express line for key pick up. We also asked for maintenance to come to our room to fix the sliding glass doors, in phase one, that would not lock. Maintenance never came by. We used a strength band to secure the doors. Also disappointed that the Maria restaurant is only buffet we don’t eat a lot so it is not worth the high price for two of us. We used to love to go eat our breakfast up there. Glad I bought pan dulce (sweet bread) at the store before arriving at the resort. 😆

What an excellent stay at this HR Los Cabos. Property is amazing but staff is more so. Kenya at reception gave us an upgrade for our 25th Wedding Ann and the suite was amazing. We could watch the humback and grey whales from our balcony!! Nothing better than that! One small word of caution - if you book a swim up room make sure it faces the Eden pool - the swim up rooms on the west side face the walls of Nobu and they don't receive much sun. We didn't have those rooms but just a word of caution.. Excellent and we will go back!

I was very impressed by the hard rock. The staff and amenities were wonderful. It was very family friendly with an arcade, kids club, multiple pools, a heated pool, and another game room with multiple pool tables. There was also a bowling alley available for addition purchase. The food and drinks were amazing! Some of the best I’ve had in Mexico. Espresso martini’s at the sunset bar and the julip bramble at Toro were a couple of my favourites. The property felt very safe and secure. It is about an hour from the airport that was the only real pit along with some check in bumps. Other then that I Will definitely be going back.

We had the best time at the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabo’s. The staff here were all superb, super friendly and helpful all around. Down at the Lyric Pool we loved our servers Ruben, Manuel and Alberto! They kept the drinks flowing and made sure we had everything we needed at the pool- new towels, shade and the best chairs at the pool. We will definitely be coming back!

The workers there were exceptional. The hotel was clean. Food was decent. Plenty of activities and bars! I just wish they had more chaise lounges by the pools. I was there for 5 days and only once did i get one. Either add more adult pools with lounges or put in more lounges at the adult pools already there. That was my only gripe about my stay. I thank all the workers there, you are all wonderful and so kind!

This property was amazing ! The staff speak great English and the food is decent. Restaurants were good and the pool staff were hands down top shelf ! LOVED the jetted tub on the patio I watched the whales & sunset every evening 🙌 The bed I will say is HARD like not even joking HARD. The rooms had the biggest tub iv ever seen for a resort and the hot water was pumping lol we never had an issue with not having hot water. For kids I’d say yes long as you know the beach isn’t swim able, there is slides and the pool isn’t too deep. All and all I think this is a great resort we enjoyed our honeymoon very much so ! ❤️❤️

The property has been updated and well taken care of by the staff. Great food options and nice swim up bar. They have one of the few locations where they let you get in the water at the beach. Highly recommend giving it try.

The facility is gorgeous. Half the staff was happy and warming the other half seemed like they didn't want to be working. Once we arrived i had my go pro stolen from my luggage. It was taken out of it and after that i was on edge and high alert. The pool is gorgoues but was not warm. The swim up pools were nice and were a little warmer. Also there was no hot tube

Stayed for 6 nights at the reserve. Beautiful property. You really feel like you’re in a desert oasis! The pool was fantastic and the swim up bar has delicious drinks. The beach has amazing views and is very nice to relax on. Food was top notch as well. Overall “partying” options (If that’s your thing) may be lower than other places but if you’re looking to relax I don’t know what else you could want!

The staff were truly kind, helpful and sweet. Not only to the guest but to each other. They would greet each other with a handshake and a hug and pat on the back. They worked together and greeted guests with a friendly Buenos Dias every time we passed them when out and about walking. Room service was impeccable, Javier at the Swim Up Bar was attentive and fun. Roberto went out of his way to find the ingredients for the drink my sister and I requested. We had fun and were relaxed and didn't want our vacation to end.

I can't express how accommodating and attentive this staff are at the Paradisus! I was looked after ever so profoundly with my biggest request being moved to the MÉ (sister hotel) because I ended up alone on the trip (unplanned). Yes, they accommodated my request while also providing daily credits. I can't tell you the level of over the top service that Manuel the general manager provided. If you end up staying here, select the Reserve option as the private pool and exclusive restaurant are worth the extra fee! The food is divine otherwise.

What was such a treat at the Esperanza, was the quality of people, the professionalism of service and staff, the personal care, making every effort to make you feel extremely spoiled. Karim, your personal concierge, is exceptional. Jaesian and Fernanda at the pool are top notch in service. The pool is stunning with its 2 infinity edges and seating in the 3rd level. And a beautiful beach to enjoy. The Restauant on site, located with a spectacular view, fabulous dishes that are clearly created by magnificent chefs, is our go to spot even after trying other 5 star local restaurants in close 5 star resorts. We give the Esperanza a 10 out of 10!

This is truly a 5 Star property. The service was amazing and it didn't feel like the typical Mexico resort with all inclusive services and drunk people everywhere. The service pool side was amazing to say the least. The restaurants were world class. I want to thank a few of the people who served us while we were on property. Alberto Bouczan at the pool and Amirus at the beach side cabana. Wow, what a property.

This resort is beyond amazing. The view in our casita was absolutely outstanding. Alicia was so accommodating with our every need. Pool and spa are gorgeous. The entire property is so clean and landscape is beautiful. We had such a wonderful and relaxing time. The only issue we had was at the pool we were constantly trying to get someone to take our order for drinks and food - even just getting a towel we had to ask a few times.

Esperanza was an amazing oasis. The service was impeccable. Starting from the security they provide, which included several checkpoints as you enter the resort, to make you feel completely safe. Staff was on hand to open your car door and greet you and provide towels, water, bag service right out of the car. The rooms were spacious, clean, and inviting. The restaurant, Cucina del Mar, was world class and the views were unbeatable. The entire resort was well kept, serene, and was the perfect resort to relax, enjoy the ocean views and listen to the waves crash against the rocks as you sipped on your drink either ocean side or poolside. We look forward to going back.

We always receive impeccable service at Esperanza. The property is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the amenities are fabulous. What really makes Esperanza special is their amazing staff, every time we have to leave, it feels like leaving family. I would like to recognize the following people: Luis, Jersain, Juan Carlos(one at the pool, one at Cocina del Mar), Sergio, Amyris, Christian, and Eduardo. You are ALL amazing and made our stay so special. We always look forward to our return to Esperanza. We felt safe and well taken care of during this especially crazy time.

This resort is top notch. The best pool, djs & even a sax player. Don’t even get me started on the cocktails… swim up to Roberto and he will make you a mean pina colada.

This place is fantastic but the swim up bar was so much fun. They take care of you. The weather is dialed in from the powers that be and the music is lively. Great experience.

The hotel is located right on the best beach in the Cabo San Lucas area, and in short walking distance to many great restaurants. Also, you can walk 12-15 minutes to downtown Cabo and the Marina. The hotel has a lifestyle vibe, and rooms are modern, but minimalistic in its design. The food and drinks are very good and tasty in the 5 restaurants on the premises. Second to the great location, I will rate the staff as excellent. They are very friendly and attentive and are eager to help. We had a very good experience with Carlos and Danny at the front desk, always there for us. The staff around the pool were also attentive and friendly, especially Selene, which took good care of us. Note it's an adult hotel that has a party vibe, for those who are looking for an upbeat hotel, with a great selection of cuisines, a great spa and gym as well a fantastic pool with a swim up bar.

We just returned from an incredible stay at ME Cabo and can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment we arrived, the service and staff was absolutely outstanding. The entire property is beautiful and immaculately maintained — the grounds are lush, clean, and full of great photo ops. The pool vibe was next-level — fun, energetic, yet still relaxing. A huge shoutout to Brandon and Jose B out on the pool deck for taking such amazing care of us. They truly made our days by the pool unforgettable! Vanessa at the pool was also fantastic! Luis and his team were also exceptional — attentive, friendly, and always going the extra mile. We had dinner, breakfast and desert at Mamazzita’s and had a great experience there too — Alex was fantastic, and the food and ambiance were top-tier. And we can’t forget our concierge, Eduardo Pague, who helped make everything seamless and enjoyable throughout our stay. This hotel is a perfect mix of luxury, party, and relaxation — highly recommend and we will absolutely be back!

Beautiful place, really nice rooms and you can’t beat the pool and beach proximity. You feel like your in a private secluded resort yet your in the heart of the city just steps from the marina and downtown. Don’t expect your typical hotel experience, this is a gated condo community with concierge service. So much better with a personalized experience. We had an great time and everyone was super friendly. Thank You for making our trip memorable.

Amazing property, right in the middle of everything. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Beach right next to the two amazing infinity pools. They are more careful about COVID than in the states, even sanitizing our luggage as soon as we stepped out of the taxi. Sanitizing foot/shoe baths as you walk through the lobby. I would go again in a heart beat!

Property and staff outstanding. The 2 bedroom we stayed in was quite a bit outdated, the couch was extremely old, little bit of a musty smell throughout, shower head not great, but property, staff, views from room, pool, food and restaurant wonderful. Will be back for sure. Excited to see new building for hopes of updated room and experience there.

location is great, apartments are luxurious, well kept and clean. Building of the new section behind pool areas is noisy and unattractive. They say it will be completed mid 2019. restaurant is substandard considering the residence quality. Food is poor and not very flavored. However, you will pay very high price for poor quality.

What did we like about Hacienda Beach Club? Everything! The property is immaculate. The staff was wonderful. Rose was very helpful, kind and really cared that we were having a great time. The pools and beach were fantastic, the views breathtaking and the food excellent.

The Cape is elegant, private, and very comfortable. We take a very private cabana at the saltwater pool that is very private. It's like having your own private pool. Their workout facility is state-of-the-art and brilliantly maintained.

Wow!!! The Cape is such a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting- like something you see in a magazine. You just can’t beat seeing the famous arch from the open air lobby and your balcony! I’m so happy we chose this hotel over a few others that had been recommended to us. We only had 3 nights here, but I wish our stay had been longer! We spent 2 days at the pool relaxing- that was our goal. Fernanda, Hugo and Luis took such great care of us- they really gave us the best service, were so kind and attentive, and they had the best recommendations for places to go and restaurants to try. I have celiac and Fernanda went above and beyond to call a restaurant for us to make sure they had options for me. She and Hugo had amazing recs for drinks and tequila! And Luis made sure we had the best last day at the pool! Everyone at the hotel was very kind- the front desk, the staff at the sunken bar who made us our iced lattes and the wait staff in The Ledge for our delicious breakfasts. The gym had ample equipment for our workouts. The beach is so pretty- the ocean isn’t really swimmable, but the huge waves crashing are such a great backdrop to the infinity pool. The sunsets from The Rooftop are spectacular! I really can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I will be recommending it to all of my family and friends who travel to Cabo and will be dreaming of this place until we can make it back.

Lenny, Guillermo, and Eduardo truly made my birthday celebration unforgettable. Lenny, our amazing pool waiter, was so attentive and kind—he made sure we had everything we needed and added such a warm touch to every day. Guillermo, the concierge, went above and beyond with the most thoughtful gestures, making sure every detail of my birthday felt special. Eduardo, the towel attendant at the pool, was equally wonderful—always helpful, friendly, and full of positive energy. The service from all three was genuinely exceptional, and I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and memorable experience. The food and drinks were just as incredible. At The Ledge, I had the best French toast I’ve ever tried. The poolside margaritas were hands-down the best I’ve had as well. At Manta, the seafood was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, a must-visit for any food lover. The iced coffee at the Sunken Bar became a daily favorite and The Rooftop at sunset? Breathtaking. The views were unreal, the music set the perfect vibe, and the ambience was pure Cabo magic. Every moment was unforgettable.

The Cape is one of our favorite hotels in the world. The hotel, the location, the vibe, and the people who work here are all wonderful. One thing that really sets this resort apart is the pool attendants and servers. They meet every guest upon arrival at the pool area and assist you in getting situated. While everyone is wonderful, we wanted to give special recognition to Luis and Fernanda. They went above and beyond to make our time at the pool incredible and even to make sure my wife felt special on her birthday. Thank you Luis and Fernanda!!! Also want to give a thanks to Claudia at the concierge desk. Claudia arranged multiple dinners and transfers for us and really went out of her way to make my wife’s birthday celebration special. Thank you!

Everything about our stay at The Cape was exceptional. The grounds are so incredibly clean and the rooms are large with each having at least a balcony overlooking the amazing view! Each restaurant not only has incredible service but the food is truly divine. Even the pool food was incredible. Fernanda was absolutely a star and standout at the pool. She was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful poolside experience. Sit in her section and you won’t be disappointed! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We will certainly be coming back to The Cape on our next visit to Cabo!

Travelled from the UK so a fair way but worth every minute (well 2 weeks). The hotel has a relaxed feeling with very clean and stylish Mexican decor, accommodation is excellent, the location couldn’t be better. All the staff are super smiley, polite and helpful (special mention to Mauricio, beach facilities guy & Manny, by the pool both really helpful and fun). A typical day, lie by the pool then wander down the beach for lunch, so much choice & v close by & you can wear your bikini all day (which is good as was pretty hot).

Exceptional in Every Way !! The property was wonderful, the staff was very caring and Professional with such a Beautiful property with tremendous views , pools , beach and amenities how could anything be but Exceptional !! Our Family will be a Lifelong Customer with many more years of memories to come. Kudos to the Entire Hacienda Staff.

Staff were excellent and helpfull; property was great; so nice to have a spa and gym. Pool area is fabulous and restaurant was very good!

It was gated with a 24/7 guard! It was very close to the marina! It was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were friendly and welcoming!

Extraordinary service. Catered to our every need, including dietary restrictions. Lovely pool area. Grand class corner suite had stunning view and private plunge pool. On-site restaurants were generally very good, and Cocina de Autor was outstanding.

The Grand Class Corner Suite was beautiful and spacious. The oceanfront balcony with private plunge pool was stunning! The food and drinks were excellent. Our concierge was attentive to any needs, especially coordinating a whale watching tour on short notice. The DJ played our favorite songs and provided excellent service as well. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Grand Velas. We highly recommend booking Grand Velas Los Cabo’s. The whale watching tour was amazing!

This is a beautiful hotel, grounds, and numerous restaurants. We had a huge 2000sqft room with windows with sliding doors on two sides of the room. In room hot tub and a plunge pool on the deck. Beautiful sunrise views. The shower was massive, overhead, 3wall jets, and a wand. It was so nice I didn’t want to get out. There are 5 huge infinity pools and hot tub on the grounds. I loved this place and didn’t want to leave! We are vegan. Very little on the menu for the many really nice restaurants. This was a little stressful, but they made custom dishes for us, and we ate well. The many activities in the area will pick u up at the hotel lobby. We even saw whales from our room in May, which is rare.

This is the best hotel we've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and have every amenity you could want (there was a hot tub and plunge pool in ours). The swimming pools are unreal and the quality of the food and drinks second to none (there wasn't a meal we had that I wouldn't have paid for in a restaurant). The thing that sets this place apart though is the service. We had our own concierge (Natalia) and she was the best thing about our stay. There was nothing that was too much for her to do and she was a really useful source of information on transport/excursions etc. Natalia also arranged all our dinner reservations and was a real point of difference for our stay.

Lovely property with beautiful views, nice rooms, excellent staff and good dining options. The buffet restaurant, Frida and Lucca restaurants were excellent food and service (portions could be a bit bigger, but the resort is all-inclusive so you can always order more). We had a problem with musty odor in one of our rooms which despite staff trying to replace/clean a carpet, did not abate. It limited our ability to use the room, which was part of a two-bedroom ambassador suite we reserved. On that note, the 2-BR suite is not really a suite. It is two adjoining rooms. The listing on Expedia also indicated a "plunge pool" (in two places on the listing), which is not part of this room class. I pointed that out to management as it is essentially false advertising. The management offered us a concession on a future stay and we would happily stay there again, but I think the ambassador 2-BR family suite is not advertised correctly. The pools are beautiful and there are nice amenities like a kids club, teen club, ping pong, etc. The beach at the resort is not swimmable but excursions from Cabo are easily arranged through 3rd parties and it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the marina, where there is also a public beach easily accessible. All in all, we'd happily stay there again, and anticipate the management will honor their commitment to remediating the inconvenience we experienced with the room issue. Thanks!

The atmosphere was so beautiful. The staff is so friendly and have wonderful customer service. We were always taken care of. We are Titanium Elite. Upgraded to a plunge pool room. Had an outdoor shower, hammock and chairs to enjoy outside. The grounds are serene. We used our welcome amenity for breakfast. Which had anything you could want. So delicious. The gym offers a lot. The adult pool is perfect. We had no problem getting loungers. Went off site for dinner. We will definitely return.

We had the pleasure of staying at Solaz for a friend’s birthday celebration. The room was beautiful, with an entry courtyard and plunge pool on the balcony (ground floor). The pools are magnificent and the views are incredible! All the staff are wonderful - from the restaurants to the pools!! Benjamín, Josue, and the entire “Artisan Butler” team are a joy to work with and are truly professional, kind, and really make an effort to answer every question and provide information! Go to Cabo, stay at Solaz, and be ready to be pampered in your stay, your taste buds, and just by the amazing environment of Solaz!!

Just wrapped up an incredible anniversary trip to Cabo! We stayed 4 nights at Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort, and the property was absolutely stunning. Hands down one of the best Marriott properties we’ve experienced! We booked with points (Gold Member) for a standard room and were upgraded to a gorgeous ocean-view suite with a private plunge pool. The staff, ambiance, and restaurants were all five-star - every meal we had was fantastic. We loved walking along the beach, working out in their beautiful gym, grabbing smoothies, and relaxing by the many pools. The resort never felt crowded, and the weather was perfect the entire stay. The spa was also amazing - one of the best spas I’ve been to. I got a facial, and my husband joined me for the hydrotherapy, which you can access for just $39 per day, totally worth it! Already counting down the days until we can come back next year!

I have stayed here twice. The first time was whale season and you could sit in the pool and watch the whales it was awesome. My only complaint was the beach was very soft and hard to walk on. The second trip in September the beach sand was packed and easy to walk on. Not a lot of people on the beach so it is great atmosphere. If you get a plunge pool I do not think they re heated so in the winter they were too cold for me. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and spacious. The real star here is the service. I would put this hotel on par with a ritz or 4 seasons for the service. Food at restaurants is good with good variety across the resort.

Highly recommend!!! Stayed here for a couple of nights on a girls’ trip to celebrate a birthday. Honestly, the only reason I booked this hotel was because it's part of Bonvoy, but I was so pleasantly surprised and would 100% stay here again! PROS The Food The restaurants were amazing, and even the poolside food was really good. The Pools There are so many pools to choose from! We mostly hung out at the adults-only pool, but the kids’ pools were beautiful too. We never had trouble finding chairs. The Service This was the best part of our stay. Josue and Benjerman went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They helped with dinner reservations, transportation, and even offered to assist us after we checked out when we were switching hotels. We stayed at another “hip” hotel afterward, and the service didn’t even come close to what we experienced at Solaz. CONS The only downside is that it’s pretty quiet at night. If you’re looking for a late-night drink or party vibe, you’ll need to go off property, but perfect for those who just want to relax!
