Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Daytona Beach

The property was relaxing and the design for anyone going to the beach to enjoy the beach and relax, this is an amazing place to stay. I loved the pool/hot tub area. The beach access was very easy. They have on site dining options also. My favorite part is the comfort of home while on vacation. The full kitchen, washer dryer and dishwasher makes an extended stay easier. The staff was friendly and the resort was not overcrowded at any time. I love the sunrise and sunset Terrance’s, and the game lounge was very nice touch also. I felt like I could move around the resort quickly and easily. Down to parking, it was just easy and relaxing. I cannot express enough how amazing this resort really is the way you can just get up and go see the sunrise on the sunrise Terrace and then go eat breakfast and then go down to the pool in the hot tub or down to the beach and then come back and have lunch. They have a gym that overlooks the ocean that I’ve never seen before. It is absolutely amazing. Makes me wanna work out even on vacation. The game lounge if you have family with you , it has a pool table has foosball tables. It’s just a very nice touch if it’s raining or if the weather is too hot where you can just go and hang out.

4th time staying at Max Beach Resort. I keep returning because of the amenities that I think are important to my family. The rooms are large and spacious, whether a 1 or 2 bedroom. Each room has a complete kitchen with most everything you would need to cook a meal. The laundry room is large with full size washer and dryer and sink. The bathrooms are large too. The beds are comfortable. All rooms have a great view of the ocean or city. The balconies are huge. My husband loves the weight room and while he works out, I enjoy my time sitting on the rooftop watching the sunrise over the ocean. My kids love playing pool or checkers in the game room which has an awesome view of the ocean, pier, and city. The Venn Bar has great food and drink. The pool deck is large with a big pool and hot tub. The staff have always been very nice and helpful. Also, the elevators are quick and in working order.

We stayed here for only one night. Our room was huge and modern. My husband and son enjoyed playing billiards. I enjoyed the Starbuck coffee in the room in the morning. We all enjoyed the pool and pool bar staff. The best Bloody Mary I have ever had! The building next store is going thru a renovation and not pretty to look at. However, looking at beach easily cured this. I would stay here again, longer next time.

The rooms were beautiful. The views were amazing. The drinks at the bar were delicious. The game room was fun. We played pool and checkers. The pool is heated and the hot tub was relaxing. Easy access to the beach. We prefer this over a cruise and will make this hotel a family tradition.

This property was exceptionally clean, in a great location, and had very comfortable beds. The pool was heated and clean. The on site restaurant was convenient when we didn’t want to leave the pool. Staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. I don’t have a single complaint and would love to return!

The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We were so impressed with Michele, who was our room attendant. Upon arrival she introduced herself to us, came to make sure everything in our room was to our liking and approval and brought us extra towels without us even asking. The property was very clean and the grounds and pool area were immaculately cared for. The maintenance man visited the pool every day while we were there and made sure guests were pleased with the temp of the water. One day the pool was a little chilly and he turned the temp of the water up and even came back several hours later to be sure it had warmed up to the guests satisfaction. Ocean views from every room and although balcony is not private to each room (it wraps around the outside of every floor, we got to know the guests next to us and all of the guests we encountered were so friendly. Every time we entered through the pool gates we were greeted with friendly “hellos and good mornings” from the other guests. Will definitely be back!! Wonderful experience!!

The room was fine and clean and very comfortable in the heat. This was Memorial Day Weekend and we were on the pool side of the building. This made it quite noisy as well as people parking automobiles near the pool with big speakers blasting out music that I did not want to listen to but was forced to all day when I was there. Don't stay on the poolside of the Inn.

Biggest issue was inadequate parking for the hotel guests. Pool was dirty on Sunday with a lot of activity experienced on Saturday. Guests were not respecting the pool rules in regards to food and drink at the pool. Very disrespectful of other guests and hotel request which was clearly posted.

This was my first time staying here and it was amazing. I had to wait a bit for my room to be ready, but patience was rewarded with a ocean front room. The property is beautiful and well kept. The pool is very warm and as clean as a beach pool could be. The property is very pet and family friendly so if you're looking for something quiet this is not the place. The only complaint I could have is not the hotels fault but parking could easily be a nightmare if you're not showing up at check in time, unless you're staying in the south cottages with assigned parking. Other than that this place is a great little beach hideaway.

Great outdoor pool which was heated. The hotel provided beach/pool towels. Super easy access to the beach. Lots of parking. Very safe area with ample restaurants and shopping within a few minutes drive

The hotel was beautiful! Loved the room size, pool access and beach access. Everyone was so nice, always smiling and helpful.

Had a great stay! Great pool and very convenient beach access. Loved that you can get drink and food service while in the pool served poolside. all Staff was very nice. My only complaint was that it took about 30 minutes to get a luggage cart when we arrived. We had a lot of bags.

Went there for a quick trip to beach with my adult daughter. Pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice the hotel was…best my expectations. The room we had was very large and the beds were one of the most comfortable I’ve had in a hotel. The veranda was beautiful overlooking the heated pool and the ocean. They have ample chairs with scatter umbrellas over looking the ocean while you enjoy the pool. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the restaurant was very busy and the food looked amazing. Parking was very easy and plentiful (daily fee). The beach was active but not crazy like the main strip in Daytona, which we liked. Overall, excellent resort and would definitely return.

It was a great location and was close to everything. There is a grocery store right across the street, which was really helpful. All the staff were incredibly nice and very helpful with anything we needed during the trip. It was very quiet and peaceful, nobody was loud in the hotel or at the pool. The room was big, clean, and very cozy. The beds were comfortable. It had a walk in shower with a waterfall shower head, which was so nice. We felt like we got a good value for the money we spent. They have a breakfast bar ( juices, milk, yogurt, bagels, muffins, danishes, cereal, etc). It was always good- the lemonade was the best! They have 2 pools (we went to the one closest to the south tower) it was clean and well maintained. The other pool is supposed to be bigger with shuffleboard and volleyball. I highly recommend staying here. They are fixing it up, so don’t let the looks deceive you. If you are looking for a quiet, clean beachfront accommodation this is your place!

This was a very nice FAMILY place. It was clean and no (bad) surprises. I read the reviews on here after I booked it and was scared to go!!! Those reviews must of been from "Real Houswives of ..." because there was NOTHING wrong with this place. Yes, it was not new at all, but it is directly on the beach. I live on the west coast of Florida, so if you live here, you know the salt water and air makes everything "age" quicker in hotels, homes, etc. EVERYTHING was clean and tidy. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. The continental breakfast was BY FAR the best we have ever seen, as there were so many choices. The pools were clean and we watched the groundskeeper test the water and clean the pools in the early a.m. There was even construction going on at their seawall and they were NEVER noisy or in the way. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back. P.S. What a deal on GROUPON!!!!

They are actively working on updates but our room was exactly what we needed for our trip. We had a double bed balcony room with fridge. Fridge worked fine. Staff was very nice! Wasn't too crowded at pool or beach. Literally walked from hotel pool to beach. AC worked great.

It is older and in need of updates and repairs but they have been hit several times by storms. The location on the beach; the staff; the 2 pools, and breakfast are all excellent . Cleanliness is average . A bit rough looking but clean bed, pool and breakfast. Free wifi and parking and prompt return of deposits. I would stay again.

Stayed at Arya Blu Inn on 7/27/24. Arrived at 10am, check in is at 3pm. Checked to see if we could go ahead and check in and was told by the very nice staff it would be ready between 1:30 -2pm. Which was fine with us. We hung out at the pool with friends that stayed the night before. Had Lenny's Pizza delivered to the pool area. We were in our room by 2pm. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. When we checked out I was given my cash deposit back. They have coffee, muffins, bananas and yogurt in the lobby for you to enjoy. Dunkin Donuts is across the street if you are looking for more than that. We will definitely be coming back.

The property was nice. The price was great. The staff were friendly. The only problem is parking. I had a person block me into my parking spot and I could not get out. I went to the staff. They did try to reach out to the person was unable to do so my recommendation is if somebody does that and you don’t get a hold of them within an hour to an hour and a half to get the vehicle moved they should be towedbecause if I needed to get out in emergency, there is no way I could. I was in room 101 near the pool and somebody parked right behind me in the spot to my right and left tail of their car. Hang out about 3 foot so I could not get out two cars. They were both Nissan the one next to it was also sticking far out from the parking spot so they were facing straight into the fence near the pool.

The hotel has and is going thru a renovation so there are a few things that still need done. We had the oceanview room and it was awesome. Newly redone with amazing matresses and multiple of pillows to choose from for our taste. Only item we saw in the room was the bathroom door needed replaced. It appears a large dog scratched up the door panel. But the room was very nice and comfortable. We had a kitchenette that we used some of which was great. The office staff was very friendly whenever I stopped by for a question or to grab a cup of coffee for breakfast. The location on the beach was perfect. The pool was very nice and clean and large for a small hotel. Nice to come right off the beach to the pool. We will be back in the future to enjoy the quiet beach and wonderful hotel.

The stay was nice. The family had a great time at the pool and the beach. The pool was great and beach was awesome. The rooms had a great view of both. The woman at the front desk was very nice and polite. The only problems I have is the towels and the parking. I understand the parking, you only have so much room to work with, that’s understandable. The towels? They can give you more towels. Oh, one more thing. The continental breakfast, needs a little more. Other than that, we had a great time. We go to Volusia County Beaches a lot, we will be back to this hotel again. Great view, less cars on the beach and great location overall.

We had a delightful stay at this gem of a hotel. It used to be a chain hotel way back in the day and the owners have spent some time and effort making this place very nice. We live in the area and like to book a stay on the beachside once a year if we don’t travel for vacation. The property is pet friendly and convenient for hanging out at the pool and heading down to the beach. The free breakfast is not a lot to be excited about, coffee, some fruit, and muffins. The muffins are delicious, but don’t expect a hot breakfast. We did have a full sized fridge (with freezer) and a decent kitchen sink with microwave and a 2 burner stove. We bought some sandwich stuff and brought a Britta with us for water and meals. Over all we were all pleased, 3 adults and a Chihuahua. 1 king and 1 queen, was perfect for my wife and I with our daughter. Not a lot of frills, but that’s not why we book places like this. Note, their elevator is pretty small. Enough room for a luggage cart and maybe one other person. It’s pretty tight.

My husband and I stayed there for just 2 nights - we usually stay in South Daytona but thought we would give Ormond Beach a try. We thought it was great - great location, the rooms have been redone and are clean and spacious, we asked for , and got, a ground floor room so we only had to step out of the room and we were just steps away from the pool and the beach. The breakfast room is being renovated so there is a grab and go breakfast - it's more than anyone needs. breakfast sandwiches for the microwave, fruit, oatmeal, Danish or cupcakes, a fiber bar, and of course, coffee and water. I want to personally thank Jackie at the front desk. After we had gotten home we realized that we had left a cooler in the room. We were only home a little while when Jackie called to tell us they found the cooler. A lot of other places would have just kept it or thrown it away - but Jackie went out of her way to send the cooler back to us. I really appreciate the kind service and will definitely stay there next time we are going that direction... I have seen complaints about the renovation noise -- We only heard some banging during the day when we went into the room to change from the beach. There was never any noise early in the morning or late at night and during the day most people are either at the pool, beach, or sightseeing. No problem - when would those complainers like the work to be done?!? We were even able to see the rocket launch from outside our room....

This was honestly the best place that we could have picked for our trip. We were outside for 2-3 days straight just going to the beach and the pool. Which were both 10ft away from our room! Watch the ocean while you swim in the pool. It was a great experience. The photos online don't look like the real thing anymore either. You can tell it was recently renovated.

The property was being renovated. But, it was still a good stay. The complaints were the breakfast area was not in use and the pool needs better claning. So, breakfast was grab & go and pool had dirt on the bottom. All rooms are oceanview. Great location.

The location is amazing. We stayed Ocean View and still felt as if we were Ocean Front. The way these rooms are designed leaves a great view when sitting on the chairs outside of the door. You are right on the ocean. The big covered cabana type sitting area by the pool was so nice, as well. we enjoyed sitting out there. You could be right by the ocean but not in the sand. The pool was awesome. It's not a luxury place, but the rooms were very clean and the location is perfect. So much quieter and more secluded than Daytona.

Hotel is in a great location, but starting to show so signs of age. The beds are comfortable , the sitting chair and couches have seen better days. The bathfitter people did a so so job and the tub moves when you step in. Refrigerator had a loud humming but the AC usually drowned it out. Hotel was clean and the house cleaning people were always active and friendly. The hot tub has not worked correctly now on two separate stays years apart, the pool self cleaning robot was left in the pool an entire day make swimming an adventure. The bbq grill works well but only one of the two was working. On the last day , one of the elevators was not working.. maintenance? Just an out of order sign ..was it safe yesterday? Nice place and the suites are convenient .

Contrella at the front desk started us off with a great experience at check-in. She was pleasant, welcoming and friendly. Great job at explaining all the amenities offered as well. The hotel itself is clean and updated. Pool area was great with plenty of chairs, bbq area and tables with umbrellas. Good mix of families and couples. The staff at the breakfast area was AMAZING! Everything was well stocked and they did not stop cleaning the entire time. We had a great view of the airport runway from our room so it made for great sights. The room was well stocked with everything we needed to make our own simple meals. Ice Maker in the room was an added bonus as well. We are from NY and extra picky about our hotels and room cleanliness. We would def stay here again.

My wife and me spent 7 great days here in the middle of August. The 1 bedroom suite was quiet, clean, and had full kitchen. The bed was comfortable, and sofa bed was wide and sturdy. There is large lobby where free breakfast was served every day. The lobby is nice and cozy, with lots of sitting options and a direct acess to the nice yard and a pool. Overall, it felt like hotel was either recently renovated, or is really well maintained. But the best impressions were left by the hotel staff. Always positive and polite, they went above and beyond during each and every interaction. Special thanks to Mia, who worked really hard during breakfeast rush hours, and always maintained cheerful and positive atmosphere!

We are in Daytona a few times a year to see our son at ERAU. Always stay here because it’s walkable to the airport and campus and the staff are excellent. Well kept, clean, pool and other rec areas are great- there’s a grill and some rooms have ovens. I’ve baked cookies for the team in this hotel! Quick drive to the beach for sunrise if you have a car. Walkable to campus, the airport and many places for dining.

breakfast was grand.. but sugary. the staff were very friendly and always helpful... the location was excellent as we flew back from daytona airport.. the kids used the pool every evening , plenty of towels .. it was a typical residence hotel.. it would be fine if i had to stay for weeks or months
