Lovely place!! Very clean and cozy! Attentive staff! Pool and Jacuzzi are amazing! Great value ! Just keep in mind if you are planing on bringing your kids they may not allowe them if the room designated for families with kids is not available....we were advised by the receptionist to call prior to make a reservation to make sure that specific room is available.

This is a charming guest hotel. It has been well decorated, the outdoor patio area and pool are terrific, and the stay is kind, helpful, and professional. The vast majority of the staff are bi-lingual making communication easy. Everyone worked hard at making our stay comfortable--and we were! We could not have asked for more. Great experience!

We really enjoyed the service, the room, the bathtub, the facilities, and the swimming pool. It was a beautiful experience to stay here. I highly recommend this beautiful place. Paloma and Norma gave us great service. It was very relaxing to stay here.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating to the language barrier that my friend had. Also the pool and restaurant were both very nice. I accidently left an item at the pool and it was saved for me. I was able to get it the next day.

Very nice experience. The pool was an attractive spot. There's an upper area for events by the Aztec design at the pool. The bed was hard but plenty of pillows. Room were clean. Modern design.

Loved the hot jacuzzis and large pool! Our renovated rooms was very clean and stylishly decorated. The balcony overlooking the pool was really nice. Staff were friendly and helpful!

We like everything from here. My girls enjoyed being in the pool. We loved the food and the poolside service. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

I like the fact that as soon as I open the hotel front door I am in the street that has all the events and blah blah blah.. Every thing is walking distance.

The property is updated and very clean, nice place to stay with entire family. Pool area is clean and spacious, also heated for winter use. Romms are a little small but worth it, clean and very secure. Private parking security on duty round the clock. House Keeping do their job well everyday would come back here again and highly reccommend this place to others.

Great hotel to use when visiting El Centro, everything is pretty much walking distance from this hotel. The morning buffet is really good too (it has a separate cost but you get a small discount when staying at the hotel). The pool was super clean and staff was very friendly and very professional.

We stayed for the Baja 400 race ans the location was perfect! Staff are super happy and friendly. Pool is nice! Close to restaurants and all the action. Bed was a little hard but you can't have everything! Will stay here again for the next race!

Hotel Cortez is really terrific for the price. The rooms are comfortable, bathrooms are new and clean. The pool area is really excellent. Perfect location. Helpful and responsive staff. Underground parking with a guard. I'l be staying there again next time I'm in Ensenada.

Like always this Hotel is our obligated stop on the Road TO Baja .Friendly, Homy, really clean and most important have a stable staff over the years like talk were well of the HOTEL management. I only will like to have some seating outside on THE PERGOLA to enjoy the view and relaxing time over there. Also to have more variety on the menu .Thanks everyone to making us feeling Welcome each time ....More than 20 visits over there and keeping counting.See you next time !!!!

Staff and everything was fine, super service. Get a room on the top floor overlooking the pool and you will be fine: rooms like 510 or 511. Try the restaurant too: its much better than what you might expect from a hotel restaurant.

Sylvia and Eden were great at the lobby. All staff at the hotel were friendly and very accommodating Pool was nice and clean as was the room and bathroom. Will be back on our next trip to Ensenada..

The room was ready when I arrived. And the A/C in my room was on. I like the fact that there is parking on premises, but they also have an additional lot with security. It is literally walking distance from the night life, nice sit down restaurants and cafes. There is a movie theater close by too.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating the rooms are very clean and well maintained and the hotel is close to everything you might want to visit saving on taxi fares due to everything walking distance. parking is a little tight but the staff will make sure your car is parked in a secure gated area

Very good location. Walk distance to nearly all the tourist places. The room was a bit damp when we first went in, but the A/C works well and fixed the problem after we back from dinner (actually not a big deal at all). The staff are nice.

As a travel advisor staff service is a big deal to me and I would trust this one with my clients without question.The room itself was already beautiful enough, but the oceanview was a cherry on top. Next time I visit I hope to make full use of the pool, hotub, and massage services because I truly feel that I missed out on some highlights.

The atmosphere was wonderful, great for families, I just went for one day because it was a busy weekend and couldn’t find space for other day, the service provided by every single person from the hotel was amazing, I am definitely coming back but for more than one day. I liked the warm pool a lot and the drinks!

Five star hotel! The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The view and pool is amazing. The only bad thing is the rooftop bar has been close since Covid. It would be great if they could reopen that bar for people that want to enjoy the night at the hotel.

Nice and clean property off the coast and the main highway. Convenient to downtown Enseneda and to the winery's in the mountains. Nice pool, but small. No shade or umbrellas at the pool. Friendly staff and clean rooms. I would stay here again.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel! The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, and the food was simply delicious! Every moment spent there was nothing short of fantastic. But the cherry on top? The breathtaking views from the restaurant, rooftop, swimming pool,and our rooms were truly mind-blowing! Nestled in an incredibly beautiful location, the hotel is just a quick 15-minute drive from the stunning Valle de Guadalupe. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to go back!

Took my family here for a short stay and we loved it. It’s your basic rooms, but the heated pool on the roof and drinks were awesome. Sad we couldn’t charge the drinks to the room and had to pay cash, but hopefully they’re working on that. We had dinner in the lobby restaurant and staff was nice. Typical hotel food that did the trick for this tired family… room and bed was comfy too. Not sure why this place gets a bad wrap. Also, as a platinum Bonvoy member, family got the free upgraded breakfast too.

The customer service was awesome, we had the pool all to our selfs. Security guard was very attentive and kind. We tried the restaurant next door and were amazed on the quality of food and service as well. You get to have a beautiful view if you select a premium room, it’s worth the price. Will definitely stay here again in the future. It’s only about 10 minutes away from downtown Ensenada.

The location is on a busy main street so if you stay on a Friday or Saturday night it will be very loud. For some reason the big rigs driving down the street continuously lay on the horn. Other than that it is very quiet. There is no parking but it was very easy to park on the street. You can even go down the street and pay for parking at the Bahia Hotel. It was roughly $2.50 per hour. There are no employees there so you're kind of on your own but if you need anything there is a number to call so you can contact someone. I would definitely stay there again.

Im convinced this was the best place to stay at in Ensenada. Beautiful views from the sea view balconies and a wonderful Sunday buffet breakfast. Will definitely come back soon. The only thing was the showers were a little hard to operate to get warm water but once we figured it out it was fine.

Nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff and beach front views. My suite was large and spacious. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious with the payed menu. Free menu was ok. Kids ate some of the food.

We enjoyed the buffet it was very complete. The ladies cleaning the rooms were very helpful and nice. It seemed that they knew what we needed before we even asked.

The staff were extremely attentive and courteous. The facility was in order and clean. Having the front sea view was relaxing.

Loved our room! It was on the first floor and was easy access to the pool, gym, restaurant, etc. The downside was there was no way to lock the sliding door, made me feel a little worried when we would exit through it to head to the pool. The room I booked said it was for 4 people but only had 1 bed and a couch in the living room area. The couch was not a pull out, so we had to sleep on it and was quite tight and uncomfortable. Overall, the room was good, could use some remodeling to a more modern style but was clean and nice. The pools were great! Huge hot tub! Loved the bar, got to enjoy drinks by the pool. The gym was nice! Restaurant seemed really fancy too, did not eat there but would’ve loved to if we had the time. The parking structure along with security made us feel really safe and that our car was also. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect for my family. Not close to downtown where it’s busy but close enough to get there in a few minutes. Good amenities, restaurant, bar, coffee bar, gym, pool, and easy parking. The room was clean and it had a small kitchen. Separate bedroom with two beds. The room was older but clean. We liked the hotel and would return to it.

One thing about this place is that you will get amazing service from the staff. They are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough for my little family. We came during the fall season and used the indoor pool which was nice. Overall, would come back!

I enjoyed my stay at Ensenada's San Nicolas Hotel and Casino. The hotel is like a resort with rooms surrounding a beautiful patio and pool area. The room I had was small, but very clean and efficient. The brick wall was brushed over with white paint, the sliding doors leading to the patio operated like they were new as were the beautiful window coverings. Bed and bathroom linens were fresh and crisp, bed was comfortable, and a closet and additional storage areas were plentiful. Front desk staff was friendly and bilingual in English and Spanish. The hotel's location was removed enough from the "Centro" part of touristy downtown, yet easily accessible on foot. The restaurant served delicious food, especially pastries. I only had one small problem with this hotel, yet it was semi-understandable. From early morning until late evening, the sounds of predatory birds are played throughout the property to keep scavenger birds from landing and attacking food. Like I said, I understand the purpose but maybe the sounds could start later when the pool actually opens and end earlier than they do now.

Let me start with the good: The staff was kind (our housekeeper Cynthia was fabulous!) the facilities were adequate and for what we needed, it was fine. The on site restaurant was good. I appreciated the balcony off our room as a spot to enjoy the blue skies and people watch. The weekly movie at the pool was a fun treat too. Some things to note: The bed was really hard. Unlike other areas of Baja not all the staff speaks English but they will try or find someone who does. Mexico is rough for disabled travelers in general. This hotel was especially so. I use a walker and with assistance, can do steps or steep ramps. The handicap access points for the whole hotel wouldn't come close to ADA standards in the States. I found them to be unusable and unsafe. I'm not even sure a wheelchair user could use the ramps without someone pushing them. Sidewalks, driveways and streets are a struggle too. So go knowing it will be a challenge. Having said all of that, staff were always ready to help. The pool and jacuzzies had no handrails so getting in and out unaided would be impossible for someone with walking/ambulatory issues.

It's rustic! They have a casino next door. The pool area is pretty cool especially at night. Great bar at the restaurant/pool area. You can drink for cheap and the ice is filtered water(safe to use). Ensenada is a beautiful city with beautiful people. I really enjoyed our trip!

The rooms we got were small but clean, the view of the pool was nice. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There’s a mini coffee maker in the room which is nice. No mini fridge but they do have an ice machine. Great staff, easy to walk around. Parking was easy, they have a parking lot across the street with security. The casino is a bonus. There’s an OXXO half a block up the street with good coffee. We truly enjoyed our stay here. This will be our first option next time we’re going to Ensenada again.

The staff was super nice and helpful. The room was clean and it over looked the beautiful pool. The parking lot is guarded 24hrs and every guest wears a wristband to know you are a guest. The room service was open until 1am, which was awesome because we were out at a wedding until 10pm. I will definitely be returning to this location. .

Made last minute reservation online. When we arrived the front desk was very accommodating. My cousin has problems walking so I asked for a 1st floor pool side room and was accommodated without any hemming and hawing. Staff was a little cold but for one night who cares. Showers could have been hotter as well as the jacuzzi. Close enough to the main street to walk but far enough you won't hear the night crowd. If your a partier I would UBER. Overall a nice, quiet, clean place to stay. I recommend it.

The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. It’s close enough to the tourist area where you could walk there is you wanted to but at the same time far enough away that it is quiet. There is a restaurant on site that has very delicious breakfast options.

Property very clean, staff very helpful and service is fast to ensure you’re not waiting too long to be attended. They meet our needs .. I’m looking forward to returning back to Ensenada and staying here again!!

Nice courtyard with a pool and food services from the hotel restaurant. Location seems to be popular with families, apparently they have day passes for the pool area. On the second floor there was just a little noise from the kids playing in the pool. My room had recently been remodeled and was very clean with lots of amenities. Hair dryer, safe, ironing board, balcony (over the parking lot). AC worked great, nice bathroom with working hot water. WIFI was good. The lobby area remodeling is almost complete. The front desk staff spoke excellent English are were very helpful. Nice restaurant next to the lobby. Had an excellent breakfast. Not sure if the price will increase when the remodel is complete. The rate I paid was a great value for the location.

Walking distance to boardwalk and main ave where all the fun happens. Hotel restaurant has accessible menú prices. Jacuzzi is fin. Pool is small and not climate controlled. Close to Riviera hotel where margarita was invented. No onsite parking. Park in the streets. AC in room. Good tv channel selection plus HBO. Beds comfortable but pillow to soft. Hot and cold water in the shower. Daily house keeping.

We had been at this hotel many many years ago. Kudos on the upgrades. The was comfy. Shower was wonderful also. Wasn’t too excited about being by the pool, but if you are tired you will sleep.

Fun place with a little pool. Parking had a camera on it. We had to wait for our room to be prepped but it was nice and we had a good stay.

This was our first visit, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The property was clean, comfortable, and, most importantly, family-oriented. We didn't bring our children with us this time, but we will definitely return with them. The swim-up bar at the pool was excellent, and the restaurant was strategically located close to the hotel but far enough away not to cause a noise issue. We will definitely return.

I used to frequent Estero Beach Resort when I was a child with my family. I have been dying to go back to experience it with my children, but wasn't sure of the shape it would be in after so many years (approx 20 years!). All I can say is I was BLOWN away. The service was amazing, the grounds are kept up so nicely. The rooms have been redone and are so beautiful. We were upgraded to a pool/ocean view free of charge and I can't thank them enough for giving us the experience we had. We were met in the parking lot with a luggage cart and walked up to our room. I have never seen service like this in any of the hotels I've stayed at any where else, and I frequent hotels often, ranging from the Intercontinental to Westin Resorts. This resort was by far my favorite experience. The restaurant and pool side food are phenomenal. We had great experiences for every meal. The drinks are so delicious. And the prices are incredible compared to what you find in the states. We had 8 drinks and food for under $100!! What! The view is spectacular. It's quiet, there are a lot of families. It's very safe and very easy to get to. My biggest concern was safety since I haven't been across the border in quite some time. They have done an amazing job cleaning things up and welcoming tourists in a safe space. I was there on a Thursday through Saturday, I never experienced any rowdiness or loud people. It was so relaxing. The loudest thing was the waves at night, win!! Don't wait. Go there now!!

We really liked this hotel. Convenient location, on the water, just outside of town center. It felt friendly and safe, and we loved being on the shore. It's a little old-fashioned, even slightly funky feel, but we like that - it's not slick, no pool, but very comfortable and good-looking. We had a beautiful water view. Nice low-key walkway along the water, that starts at the hotel and goes south. Couldn't get wifi the first day, but that mostly cleared up and luckily we didn't care very much. The bar and restaurant - and wine bar - not affiliated with the hotel i don't think - are very good, which was really great one night we were too tired to go out and still had a great meal.

Its a very scenic property. The buildings are aged, built in 1947. The pool and jacuzzi were being remodeled. Room service could be better. The restaurant and bar are top notch.

For the most part our stay was really nice. Our studio looked clean and nice. The part that we found unacceptable was that we arrived early and were told that we couldn’t check in until 3 which is understandable but then when we got there at 3 we were told the room was still not ready to go back at 3:30 or wait until they called us. We waited for an hour and no call. We received a key an hour later and to top it all off they gave us the wrong key. We started it off a bit rough but We really enjoyed the pool. Didn’t really get to go the beach. There are too many rocks.

I would have liked a room by the pool, but the area where my room was located was quiet. I absolutely do not like the parking situation. The hotel is located on one end of the block and the parking is very close to the other end of the same block. The parking area is secure, but non shaded and honestly, very inconvenient, especially if you forget something in your vehicle.

Nice pool, friendly staff, cleaned every day. Cafe onsite. Plenty of nearby shops, activities and restaurants. Lovely neighborhood close to the port. Did not like the parking situation. We were given a parking permit but they only had 3 spots available and had the rest coned off. If you can’t offer the spots to paying guests, what’s the point?

From the states and we arrived after hours and the receptionist came out and was very helpful and no issues with check-in. They have a guard outside securing the parking lot and hotel rooms if that’s important to you. The hotel is clean and up to date. Relative to the area, it’s on the upper scale of things.

I like the architecture and how safe it is. I like that the windows don’t have safety bars. It’s very nice to be walking distance from the port and restaurants. The staff is very welcoming. This will be out spot when we come to Ensenada.

I have stayed at this hotel for a week period with my family over the past 18 summers. We have booked a block of rooms for the 30 plus people that join us for our humanitarian work in the area. The hotel staff is always very friendly and helpful and does what they can to make our stay memorable. Their conference facilities are by far the best in town for large groups. We used 9 of their facilities onsite to host 2,200 conference attendees last week. They provided a reception with coffee, fresh bread and fruit which was well received by our conference guests. Their newest conference facility "La Troje" is exceptionally beautiful and seats 800 people. The hotel is 5 minutes from Starbucks, Applebee’s, Costco and Walmat. Highly recommend!

Such beautiful landscaping. I felt like I was in the tropics on some exotic island. The reception was very nice and staff wanting to help in any way they could. All the meals in both restaurants was wonderful--very tasty and served with class. The waiters were very friendly and efficient always desiring to please. The convention center was magnificent. La Villa Adelina is an absolute GEM of a boutique hotel in the middle of the bustling city of Ensenada. My best friend and I were happy to spend our first weekend back in the city after 15 years at such a comfortable and accommodating place; the location was perfect for us as it was super easy to walk to everything that we wanted to see and do. The room was exactly like it is shown in the pictures, super cute and clean; the beds and pillows were also so plush. The common areas of the house were inviting and relaxing - perfect to curl up with a book or a drink. We didn't really use the kitchen downstairs, but if I were to go back to Ensenada for an extended visit, I would choose to stay here so that I could also do my own cooking. The café outside was a total perk, and the wait staff was very accomodating to our requests. Finally breakfast was delicious and filling - the bacon was scrumptious, which isn't always the case when it comes to an included meal! Their selection of coffees and other beverages was also a real treat. I would definitely stay again, and highly recommend this place to friends and couples looking to get away and relax. Pro-tip: check out the Jardin de Tara! The view from there is spectacular. <3

The room was quaint, clean, and had AC! Most places in the area (restaurants and I assume other hotels) don't have AC. The free breakfast was excellent! Make sure to let them know you are staying at the hotel and not to order off the menu as items on the menu are not included. The complimentary breakfast consists of two eggs however you like, choice of bacon or ham, side of fruit, and choice of coffee or juice. The staff was also so friendly and some spoke English. Even despite our limited Spanish speaking skills, we were able to communicate with staff and always felt welcomed by them. The location was also great! Close enough to walk to the main historic district (~10 min walk) but not so close that you can't sleep at night. Very quiet area. We drove to Ensenada and had no trouble parking the car in the driveway. It is tandem parking but as long as you plan ahead and move your car to the street in the morning, you should be alright. The street parking outside the hotel is a painted yellow curb which, to my understanding, means that you can park there as long as you are a patron of the business/ staying at the hotel. All in all, we will definitely be returning the next time we are in Ensenada!

My family and I absolutely loved this b&b. From the friendly and warm staff to the food and cleanliness. The hotel and premises are gorgeous. It was perfectly remodeled to keep its charm and the deco made you feel like Ms C was still living there. You felt like you transported to another time. It felt very safe, safe enough where the kids had the freedom to come back and forth on their own from the room to our patio table. The live music complemented the place beautifully with Ivana’s angelic voice. We were lucky enough to stay on the only night she sang! All in all we would highly recommend this place to all of our friends and family.

I recently stayed at La Villa de Adelina, the oldest home turned super cool bed and breakfast in Ensenada, Mexico. We arrived pretty late in the evening, but the owner, Alfredo, was extraordinarily kind and waited to greet and show us around. Villa de Adelina is a cozy mix of history and modern comfort with beautifully detailed rooms, and the breakfast was really delicious! The b&b was just a short distance from the shore and surrounded by awesome restaurants. It's more than just a place to rest; they have a cool bar, cafe, and restaurant in the courtyard. La Villa de Adelina was a lovely experience celebrating Ensenada's history, and we had an absolute blast and made unforgettable memories.

Located in one of the first houses in what was to become Ensenada. It has been preserved to its original lovely condition with a few ad ons. Each of the 6 rooms has their own bathroom and very comfortable beds. It made us feel like guests of the family. Breakfast was included and very good. The staff were all very friendly and eager to please - even if my Spanish was minimal. The location is in central Ensenada on a mostly quiet street. The Resturant on the property accounted for most of the people and provided a lot of umbrella covered tables in the courtyard to eat or just relax. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Great place. I wish the bar was still open. They close down the bar that was by the pool. Also, they could fix up their rooftop terrace a little. Such great views but had to enjoy with just three chairs. A little greenery wouldn’t hurt. An umbrella and a table would be nice to enjoy a drink out there.

The staff here is incredible especially Jaquelina. She is very knowledgeable and helpful and speaks English. I am reviewing this an American and we are spoiled. The rooms have been updated but the craftsmanship is not what an American would expect for a five star hotel. The tiles are laid sloppy, the doors do not seal. The block over plays loud music every night until 9 pm. But the location to the macron and shopping and excellent restaurant can’t be beat. You must spring for the pastries at the otherwise free breakfast. They are superb and the dining room is elegant. The breakfast food was also good especially liked the chillaquilles. The bathroom is like a 3 star. They are trying. Modern sink but there are exposed bricks and sloppy plumbing below, sloppy tile work and a shower that just sprays a light rain. It’s Mexico and everyone is trying, happy and super helpful. I’d stay there again.

Great central location within walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and shops, amazingly attentive staff, safe parking in courtyard with 24 hour security, clean rooms that are thoughtfully appointed with coffee maker, loofahs, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in eco-friendly bulk dispensers. There is a large commercial grade coffee maker in the lobby and the staff is very good at keeping fresh coffee going. The rooms have full length mirrors (important to women) as well as an iron and ironing board. There are plenty of outlets to charge electronics and also each side of the bed has plugs for phones, CPAP, etc. My only comment is the rooms need dressers and/or more storage. It would have been very helpful to have a dresser or more storage.

Esta es ya la 3ra o 4ta vez que nos hospedamos en éste hotel, es uno de nuestros favoritos por varias razones. Su ubicación en la calle primera cercano a muchos lugares, su seguridad, buen trato del personal, confort y limpieza de las habitaciones. Ojalá agregaran Mini refrigeradores en algunas habitaciones con costo extra, es lo único que nos hace falta en nuestra estancia, y que agreguen más toallas en los baños, dan muy pocas para 2 personas.

A great hotel! From the moment we checked in, we were treated with great care. The staff is professional and welcoming. The rooms were a good size and had comfortable beds (in Mexico, beds are usually extra firm, but not here. They were very comfy), plenty of wall outlets and USB charging ports. The pool was always well maintained and equipped with poolside chaise loungers, towels and a nice gym in front of the pool. The buffet-style breakfast was really good...aside from the usual breakfast items, they also offered chilaquiles, beans, sauces, birria and pan dulce. The hotel staff wore face masks and followed COVID precautionary measures throughout the hotel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of town. Close to the water, steps away from great restaurants, shopping and bars. This will be my go-to hotel in Ensenada!

This new HIE has all the upscale amenities that we would/could wish: secure spacious parking, dual elevators, comfortable beds, AC power and USB ports abound, Air conditioning plus a window that "cracks" for the breezes. The shower has the controls opposite from the shower head (can adjust w/o getting frozen or scalded.) The breakfast had choices of chorizo and potatoes, eggs and ham, chilaquiles, Mexicano pastries, cranberry juice ... etc. You could eat out by the pool. Staff very up-beat and friendly. Is with EZ walking distance to "El Rey Sol" ... and a view of the harbor. Been coming to Ensenada since the '80s ... this is ultra-swank, IM(H)O..

The hotel offers private parking and seems very secure. We were not able to try the pool as it was rainy. Our room was very spacious, clean, and the bathroom was brand new. We were able to see part of the docks. It is walking distance from the main avenue, La Guerrerense (seafood street stand) and El Rey Sol (french restaurant). They have breakfast, which is fairly good. The staff was super friendly. We used this hotel for several visits to Valle de Guadalupe wineries, a 30-60min drive depending where you are visiting.

The breakfast was excellent. A big variety of everything including delicious mexican food. Everyday was something different on the mexican food. Everyone was very attentive and very friendly. Loved the location. Walking distance from all the night life, shops and ocean. So much to do. You do not need a car if you stay in these area. Swimming pool was clean and awesome. Met alot of friendly people from other places. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

The Hotel is very Safe, clean and the Customer service excellent. The Breakfast is Good. The pool is heated, not a Jacuzzi but is getting warm water all day long. The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The parking is secured. Is an Excellent Hotel for the price and the beat thing is that can walk from there to a lot of restaurants and stores in the area.

The check-in was very smooth. They let us park our cars in one of theit lots until we came back even though our check-out was at 12 and we wouldn't be back until 4. The pool is pretty big and you can use it until 9pm. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The tvs had netflix and some other cable channels which, if you've stayed at other hotels and gotten 6 grainy channels, you know is a good deal. The hotel is also in a good spot where you can just walk around find something to eat, drink, and have fun.

First and foremost the pool for this hotel exceeded my expectations. The whole ambiance of the hotel is relaxing and homey. The staff were really nice, they allowed us to park in their establishments, even though we got there way before check-in. The hotel was located right in the middle of downtown Ensenada, we had everything at walking distance. Restaurants, bars, stores, entertainment, etc.. I would definitely stay at Hotel Casa del Sol again on my next Ensenada visit.

I loved how comfortable the bed was, and how good the sheets smelled. Also the water pressure in the shower was nice. Nice pool, didn’t get to enjoy it because of the weather, but it was very appealing.

I liked that the property felt more like an apartment than a hotel. Was closer to everything quite literally the corner street. Pool was amazing and the company this hotel brought was inviting.

Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and still feels like a quiet enclosed spot when you’re by the pool.

Everything it’s convenient! ATM, restaurant , bar, a pool, a small snack store, places to eat at a walking distance. Ample Parking as well. Best of all , they were accommodating to our needs, and we had the nicest young man helping us with our luggage ! His name is Miguel; he was always smiling, very helpful and respectful. We also got to know Victor at the bar who treated my son with special Needs so kindly! My son had the time of his life singing and Victor was genuinely interested in allowing him To Enjoy his time. I like to stay here whenever I’m in Ensenada. Always come Back! Thank You.

There are not too many hotels as this one. VERY SECURE, VERY SAFE & VERY PRIVATE TOO! Not far from the hustle and bustle and there is a reason I keep staying here!

They’re always nice there. It’s a great value for the town and I always stay there. Uber is super cheap, so at night I pay $3 for Uber to places. Hot Breakfast is good and you can pay a little extra if you want breakfast special items. Quiet area of town and secure place and secure parking.

The value for money was exceptional. As travellers by motorcycle you never know what you are getting at the end of a long hot day riding but this hotel was outstanding. The shower and bed were 10/10 the two things you need most...!!! The other great aspect was safe parking for the bikes.

Probably the best value in Ensenada. Many other hotels in the area charge more but much lower in quality, cleanliness and tranquility, safe parking. Even free breakfast with coffee and drinks.

Nice breakfast, the breakfast areas smelled good, nice to have security. When we got there, no shampoo. Had to ask to get the room cleaned after a couple days. When the room got cleaned they grew away our soap to wash our hands and still did not give us any shampooo, nor any other items. Towels for the pool took a long time to get but it was great to be able to spend time in the pool.

The pool was amazing super clean and warm pool. The staff was amazing from the front desk to the guard from the parking lot to the room service lady, to the kitchen staff. I absolutely loved how polite and attentive and helpful they were.

I basically liked almost everything but the pool, it was designed without having kids in mind (8-9 years old) and that was our main goal to entertain our kids at the pool but it was 4'2" all across!

Everything was wonderful from staff to the room to the pool. And I greatly appreciate that they allow dogs. Ooh they even allowed us to have more than just one vehicle to park. That was great.

I liked that is was on the scenic road. We had a view of the road but also of the ocean.My daughter enjoyed the pool. The breakfast buffet was good and coffee strong .

Fast response, easy access, excellent location, quiet building, had everything we needed and a little more.

The location was right in the hub of the main tourist area - a plus in a city such as Ensenada. Was surprised on entry (which I found hard to find and none two promising from the outside) to find very clean, comfy though basic accommodation, hotel like but not quite a hotel. A self-service hostel which I think works very well. The price was right too. Was also pleased with the great big window with a great view of the lively and attractive street with the mountains behind and plenty of sky. Would like to find such a place in many other places. I would seek it out first.

The room was well equipped, and the host paid attention to detail. He gave complimentary snacks, coffee, and free toiletries. The room was well-lit with many extra little lights. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. There was a fan, but it wasn't necessary to use it too much. The location is great, and everything is within walking distance. There are many restaurants, and the cruise ship port is across the main road.

We decided to head down to Ensenada VERY last minute. I literally made our reservation as we were driving into Ensenada. The Hotel aesthetic caught my attention and its close proximity to everything was perfect. The staff were super friendly and the room was beautiful! It’s very much in line with European accommodations, meaning you have everything you need in a smaller, efficient setting. Our room was a 10/10 in cleanliness and charm with well appointed finishes and warm wood tones. Everything you need is within a 5-10 minute walk. I definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to our next stay!

Excelente opción para conocer y disfrutar Ensenada. Es un hotel boutique muy bonito y moderno, está caminando cerca de todo lo atractivo turístico y los mejores restaurantes. Esta en una calle muy bonita con cafés y restaurantes y es zona muy segura. Lo mejor de todo que me apoyaron q decorar el cuarto ya que era el cumpleaños de mi prometida, fue una linda sorpresa para ella. Nos encantó ser los 2dos huéspedes ya que nos tocó inaugurar el hotel. Gran servicio, sin duda lo recomiendo!

Aunque es un hotel pequeño, no le falta nada. Cuenta con todos los servicios y comodidades necesarias para hacer de tu estancia un momento acogedor y placentero. La atención del personal es amable y eficiente, y la limpieza y el mantenimiento del hotel son impecables.

Excelente opción para conocer y disfrutar Ensenada. Es un hotel boutique muy bonito y moderno, está caminando cerca de todo lo atractivo turístico y los mejores restaurantes. Esta en una calle muy bonita con cafés, restaurantes y es zona muy segura. Lo mejor de todo que me apoyaron a decorar el cuarto ya que era el cumpleaños de mi pareja, fue una linda sorpresa para ella. Nos encantó ser los segundos huéspedes ya que nos tocó inaugurar el hotel. Gran servicio, sin duda lo recomiendo!

Just the overall convenience of having a whole house. We loved that the house had a washer and dryer. And as well that the house is close to stores restaurants and more. And, major bonus, the beach is really close by.

This was our second time staying here. Feels like home away from home. Walking distance from the beach and all the amenities with the house.

I was so happy with this apartment, very clean close to the beach and all stores. Very comfortable and private.

Great location felt safe since it is a home in a gated community that has cámaras and alarms.

There's a fridge in the lobby that can be used by guests. I'd love to come back here.

Old rooms but beautifully painted and decorated old hacienda type style… beds are great and good pillow. They had a coffee maker and water for us. They also have a pool and a beautiful terrace with potted flowers through the hallways.

The location and the hotel were great. Lots of parking which was secure and easily accessible. The hotel itself was beautiful in a hacienda style layout. Nice communal courtyard with pool. The room was very comfortable and the the staff were friendly and supplied additional amenities when requested. It was very central, close to great restaurants, bars and the beach and marina - all within easy walking distance.

The hotel is outdated, but it is charming. You can tell a lot of effort is put into trying to offer a cozy stay on a small budget. It is not your typical grey and white hotel. Someone took time and care to customize each room.The staff were kind and accommodating. We had a family emergency and had to check out a night early and while it was a non refundable room they worked with us to come up with a fair resolution. I would definitely stay here again.
