Hotels with Swim-up Rooms in Flic en Flac

We (my boyfriend and I) visited Villasun in November 2018 and had a fantastic time here. Corrine, Clifford, Valerie and the rest of the staff are very friendly and the place has an air of homeliness to it that you just don´t get at hotels and resorts. The buildings and architecture reflect this – as do all the innumerable details that make VillaSun what it is. Starting with the architecture -sociopetal furniture, tall, inviting ceilings, geometrically-pleasing shapes built around a functional office / gym space and an outside pool make for a very relaxing atmosphere. You can use the gym, pool and tennis courts at no extra cost and though VillaSun is located some way off from Flic En Flac beach, you can be driven to and from it at any time (also complementary). This gives a whole new dimension of comfort to your stay in Flic En Flac – VillaSun sits atop the hills that roll into this town, up where the air is cool and the view Is amazing – a pleasant contrast to the buzz of Flic En Flac, which you can enjoy in its fullest, before returning to this oasis of tranquility.

We stayed at Villa Sun for 7 nights and had a most enjoyable stay. The ground floor 2 bedroom apartment was right near the pool so we could walk out of our door and take a quick dip. The complex is well maintained and has gate security 27/7. The pool is large and has ample lounging and sitting areas around it. There were some issues with the power to our unit during our stay but they were rectified by maintenance once the problem became clear. The Villa Sun is located in a quiet area away from the main 'town' of Flic En Flac but is only a short 5 minute drive to both the Cascavelle Shopping Centre and the beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Sun and we were sad to leave. As a final hint: Driving in Mauritius can be challenging, so I would recommend taking/hiring a GPS if possible as things are very difficult to find with just a map.

Well, what can I say ? The title says it all. I decided to choose villa sun based on reviews. The villas themselves are immaculate and the facilities in them were top class. Everything you would want in your own home. Comfortable bed, washing machine, cutlery, walk in shower, microwave. The swimming pool and sun loungers were also excellent and in really good condition. Staff are wandering around the gardens sweeping up leaves etc. There is a tennis court too but we didn’t use it. When we arrived we felt the location was a little remote. The villa is about 1.5km walk from town and taxis are minimum 200 rupees each way (£5). We couldn’t keep doing that. The manager called Clifford, his assistant (Valerie) and the owners, Corinne and Bernadette really set this accommodation apart with their superb advice and service. They were always willing to give us a run by shuttle to the Cascavelle shopping centre (supermarket) to the beach or to the Spar for groceries. It took about 5 minutes each way but was a Godsend as it took us over 35 minutes walking. They do this between 9 and 5 o’clock. We used the bus a couple of times but they seem to stop after 6:30pm or so. The people and they are people made our stay so comfortable. They were brilliant hosts and made us feel so welcome. I have never been waved from an accommodation before on all my travels :) my Dad wasimpressed too. We lost my Mum in May and my Dad decided he would like to come with me. I highly remmend Villasun.

We loved our stay at Villasun, the 3 bedroomed villa was so spacious and lovely. The 2 double bedrooms (both ensuite) upstairs were perfect for me and my husband and our 2 children, there was even seating and a balcony with a lovely view up there. The downstairs bedroom (with another full bathroom downstairs too) was perfect for my parents in law. We all had our own space, the kitchen had everything we needed and the lounge / dining room was perfect to fit all of us in comfortably. The little outside area was also good. The pool / tennis court, gym, playroom and fusball table were all also great for the children and for us. The owners and Valerie were just so helpful, they were so good with offering advice about where to go and shuttles down to the beach (which is a 25 min walk away). We all loved our stay there. And even when my father-in-law left his passport and other items in the safe they were so helpful in getting them returned to us.

Booked through Expedia this place fully suited our holiday plans. We rented a car as wished to get the most out of Mauritius, without having to join all the tours and use taxis. However, even without a car the place can offer you excellen value tours (we booked the "swimming with Delphines" through them and I can only recommend it to everyone) The public beach is within walkable distance and the swimming pool can probably be all yours should you chose to stay in. The washing machine in your apartment spares you from having to bring heavy luggades too :) Fully fitted kitchen is a comfort that one can always appreciate. The apartment was cleaned daily and was one of the cleanest we ever stayed in. Can only thank Corina & Clifford for their professionalism and kindness and for making our stay such a pleasant one! We will definitely go back to Villa Sun in future.

We had a suite with private pool with sea view a little way from the main lodge so were transported by golf cart. Staff were excellent and meals had acceptable options. Extra cost al la carte also available. A perfect place for a complete chill out.

Situated in Chamarel, this property has everything: yoga in the mornings, bikes to ride around on, shuttles to the beach, and even a hike up to Piton Canot. Facilities include a restaurant, a view bar for sundowners, and a communal pool. The rooms are lovely too - quaint, private, and just stunning (especially the private pool plunges!). A very nice visit.

Casa Del Dodo is perfect for a family holiday in Mauritius. The owners are incredibly flexible and super communicators, even allowing early check-in and late check out to work around flights. The house is huge and would easily suit 8 people, there are 4 big bedrooms, 3 with en suite with showers inside and outside. A well equipped kitchen as well as everything you need to cook outside. The living area is the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor and the pool is great for kids. Faultless stay! You will need a car to get around!

The property was kid friendly, close to the beach, value for money and had a fantastic indoor/outdoor living aspect. We had a fab time with our family. I would highly recommend.

This property is exceptional. It far surpassed my expectations. It is very spacious, very well equipped and a nice quiet location. It was only a few minutes drive to Fliq en Flaq beach. The view from the rooftop is beautiful. The host, Dan, is friendly and very helpful. We unfortunately had a tropical cyclone come past during our stay, Dan was very pro active in keeping us in the loop with what was happening with cyclone warnings and the govt imposed curfew due to the storm. If I ever come to Mauritius again I will very happily stay here again.

It was well equipped, spacious, every bedroom had good air conditioning, only a 10 minute walk to the lovely beach, there was nothing we needed as the villa had it all. Although the pool is on the small side, it was great to cool off after sunbathing…..just perfect.

We booked very spontaneously and had the whole Villa to ourselfs. The owners welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom looked very new, big kitchen, we could use the washing mashine, in walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. All in all a very nice and comfortable stay!! We would definitely stay here again.

The hosts were exceptional and went the extra mile to accommodate any special requests I made. It was truly a home 🏡 away from home. I will definitely be back. Everything. Wonderful owners of the property who goes above and beyond to look after their guests. We felt at home as the house was well equipped with all the necessary utensils.

Everything about the villa is great. Angelica and Dominique are amazing hosts and welcomed us with drinks and a fruit basket and shared information about the villa. They showed us around and explained things and were so kind to then provide a special gift of beautiful flowers to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Angelica and Dominique gave us some suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. The villa is big, but still feels cozy for a couple. The pool is one of the largest in the area and offers really good swimming. We love the garden with its mature palm trees and plants and the birds and butterflies are attracted to it. It is so nice to watch and listen to the wildlife from a sun lounger! The villa itself felt safe, secure, quiet and very private and its location in Riviere Noire is perfect for exploring the South and central regions of Mauritius, as well as being very close to amazing beaches and some spectacular sunsets. We wish we could have stayed longer even though we were there for nine days! We hope to return soon.

Our stay was absolutely amazing, house is well equipped perfectly for family or group of people, nice pool to have a rest after hot day, nice garden full of coconut palms. Riviere Noire is ideal place to explore south of Mauritius and Black River Georges national park. Owners of the house Angelica, Dominique as well as Jacques can not be more helpful. In case of traveling in group I will definitely come back!

We had such a fantastic stay here! Angelica & Dominique played such amazing hosts with welcome drinks and fruit, and always checked in on us ensuring we were having a great time or if we needed anything! The villa is beautiful, well equipped, and clean! Perfect for families and groups of friends for sure! Also very convenient with eating options within walking distance, and the beach too!

In general, we did not regret that the choice fell on this place. We had such an amazing time at the Golden Square Villa. The host, Mr Vidz, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. He was also easily reachable on his phone, which was a huge comfort and made the whole experience stress-free. ​We were so impressed with how beautiful the villa was. The pool was a huge highlight for us, and the rooftop provided the perfect spot to unwind. The location is ideal for exploring, but honestly, the place is so great, you'll be tempted to just stay in and enjoy it. ​A definite 10/10—we highly recommend it and will be back again.

It is a secured gated villa which offers good security. There was everything in the Villa you needed for a comfortable stay. The owner Mr Vidz is very knowledgeable, attentive and responds to all your queries promptly. This is very helpful especially when you are staying in a new area. He is a fantastic host. Pool was cleaned several times during our stay.

The villa was very clean and we could see that it is well-taken care of. It is a quiet area so it is best for chill barbecues with friends and the comfort was up to our expectations. I also liked the fact that it is close to the natural pool, where we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

The Host was exceptionally friendly and helpful while the whole trip. He even brought a traditional breakfast and helped with planing trips. If I had a question he was very quick and helpful with the response. the pool was cleaned three times a week. AC in every room

Prior to the travel all comms with Ken, the site manager, was clear and helpful. He welcomed us on arrival and explained the apartment facilities. All were as described to make our stay very special. Rooms were large. Beds large and very comfortable. Cleaning every other day. Bathroom and pool towels all provided saving luggage. Good kitchen facilities although we had arranged external catering for our party of 8 + baby, so was used for breakfast and lunch only. The pool was a good size to allow a decent swim with shallow areas for small kids.

The pool was fabulous and the apartment was spacious. Great facilities, great balcony and the owners very welcoming. We made the most of the tennis court, the gym and the pool.

My family and I loved our stay at VillaSun. From start to finish, everyone went the extra mile for us. Valerie, Clifford and the rest of the team went above and beyond. We were able to check in early on the day of our arrival. We had an evening flight on the day we checked out and Valerie and Clifford allowed us to stay until 6 pm with no extra charge. The Villa was lovely and spacious enough for 3 couples. Each bedroom has air conditioning and its own bathroom. The facilities were wonderful, we used the pool and the fitness studio there but didn't get round to using the tennis court. During our stay we were expecting a Cyclone to reach the Villa, in the days leading up to it Valerie was kind enough to brief us on what to do in the event it progressed and reached us - she provided emergency lighting which thankfully we did not need to use. Our villa was cleaned top to bottom every two days by the cleaning staff. It was a wonderful surprise coming back to a spotless home! To add to the long list of great things about this place, there is overnight security with locking gates and perimeter security cameras to make sure you're well looked after. Myself and my family cannot thank everyone here enough for making our stay so wonderful. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in and around Flic-En-Flac - VillaSun is the place to be.

Very well appointed apartment, large shady balcony overlooking the pool, well equipped kitchen for self-catering, beautiful, lush gardens, tranquil location, the only sounds being the wind through the palm trees and the birds chirping. Hosts Clifford and Valerie were second to none - gave us a warm, friendly and professional welcome, always ready to chat, help and advise. Housekeeping excellent (three times per week), night security guard Nathoo always smiling and friendly.

We were welcomed by our host Marine and she showed and explained us the house. The house will be cleaned daily. The house is brand new and spacious with a great layout with two bedrooms and bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen with all utensils, coffee maker, a water filter/cooler/heater for drinking water etc. There is a an off- street parking spot and a small chill-out swimming pool on the premises. Perfect location for day trips to e.g. Le Morne Brabant and beaches, Port Louis, national park & water falls, tea plantation etc. A large super market including some shops, a coffee house and a couple of good restaurants are within walking distance. We highly recommend Searenity Villas!

Our flight arrived late, so arrangements were made for Cynthia to meet up with us on our arrival. She was very welcoming and showed us around the villa, which is situated in a secured location (a bonus). The 3 main bedrooms were fairly spacious, with air con. The no.1 bedroom had an en suite bathroom, which I and my husband occupied. We appreciated the privacy. In the evening, we could go out onto the roof as there was a seating area that was larger than the spa pool area. Any concerns we had were dealt with fairly quickly.

The location was very safe and clean environment. Swimming pool was cleaned every two days and felt good and perfect for a family trip. Communication with the owner was very helpful..

The villa was big enough and clean. It was a little bit further away from the beach and shops than expected. The caretaker Cynthia was so lovely, and communication with Maison Real Estate Team was good. We requested extra towels (bath/kitchen) and bed linen, which was delivered the following day.

We had a lot of private space. It was supremely quiet with excellent indoor spaces and trees visited by fruit bats each evening. Joanne and Foufou kept the place clean each morning and were fun to chat with as well. The kitchen is fully equipped and the BBQ was a great addition. The pool was small, but clean and very refreshing. Having a car is very important because the three public beaches are kilometers away (2-5 minutes). The local grocery store was shockingly well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals each day. Communication with the owner was prompt and very supportive.

Villa Anakao is a small hotel, which is exactly why we chose it - and we weren't disappointed. It's a beautiful building set in gorgeous surroundings, with a wonderful pool overlooking the sea. There is a fence and glass wall at the end of the garden to mark the hotel boundary, but there's a gate with a key to take you onto the beach and into the sea, if you wanted to have a splash about. The beach is rocky (so if you're looking for swathes of white sand immediately outside your room, this isn't the place for you) but we were more than happy to soak up the sun by the pool (less sand everywhere!), and instead go for walks to enjoy the beaches we passed while out and about. We did use the beach to see some beautiful sunsets though, sitting on the rocks with a chilled beer or two. The breakfasts were plentiful (breads, cheeses, meats, fruit, yogurt, eggs and bacon), and there's a set menu offered each evening which we took advantage of most days. The staff were more than happy to accommodate any dislikes, and made me an alternative meal on a couple of occasions which I really appreciated. The hotel is set in a quiet part of the island and if you want to eat out or go for some drinks, someone will need to drive (or take a taxi). I personally enjoyed being in a non-touristy area, but if you want to be within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops, you may want to consider elsewhere.

Villa Anakao is the perfect secret getaway. The hotel is built on a little piece property which is a paradise in an otherwise commercial part of Port Louis. The father/son team managing the place are true gentlemen and made our stay truly perfect. Like staying in an old manor house rather than a slick motel. Ideal for those who value history and character more than a modern, cookie-cutter resort. There is no swimming beach on the property, but the pool and hammocks were all we needed. The little outside restaurant serves simple Mauritian dishes cooked by local chefs using fresh from market ingredients. We had no desire to travel off property for our meals they were so good.

This is a fantastic little hotel, rather like the one in John Lanchester's 'Fragrant Harbour'. Located next door to the public beach at Pointe Aux Sables, the hotel is about 6km from central Port Louis. Traffic is bad at peak hours, but then it is everywhere. And at Villa Anakao you are far away from the crowdedness of Port Louis but only a minutes in a car when there is not traffic. Food is great, staff is great, laundry is great, pool is a good size, as are rooms. Not sure what else one would want. Unless you are after 4- or 5-star experience, which is not the proposition here.

Very nice and homely feeling place to spend few nights. Everything was really clean and the garden was amazingly nice with all the trees and flowers. Great service with breakfast, and even lunch and and dinner available for reasonable price. Nice and big enough pool, good beds in the rooms. No access from the property to the beach but nice views to it. Local beach was very close but it was quite dirty with lots of plastic bottles and other trash. Easy bus access to Port Luis and many beaches & other nice places (like the botanical garden) to visit in driving distance.

I stayed for six nights and enjoyed myself very much. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the driver they work with, Anwar, is a genius at arranging visits and tours all around the island. The villa has a nice swimming pool, and the food offered in the evening is of high quality.

Stunning & spacious villas which were beautiful to chill during the day as the private pool was big enough to cool down & swim. Such a quiet setting & very calm vibe - a perfect tonic!! Immaculate villa plus super friendly & helpful staff. Overall a fabulous holiday at a stunning location.

Fantastic villa room, just wow. Loved the space. Including outdoor lounge and private pool. Especially loved the bathroom which was huge and also had an outdoor shower experience as well as indoor which we thought was a beautiful touch. The service was fantastic. The spa had a huge warm jacuzzi pool which served as a great winter pool which we really appreciated. The only downside was the lack of a black out curtain in the bedroom but it is very private so we didn't feel overlooked. Otherwise just brilliant.

The hotel villas are very nice and with your personal pool included. Service at the beach and infinity pool are also very good. The hotel location on the west of the island is perfectly protected from the wind. Only area slightly disappointed is the restaurant where service is not bad but definitely not at the level of a 5* hotel and the menu is nothing special and you can eat better food outside in flic-en-flac at half the price

I stayed in the garden villa because i wanted full privacy. We had a garden view villa and i asked if i could get more privacy so they put up a net in the garden for me so no one was able to look into our villa. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I went for our honeymoon and birthday stay and the staff helped us make our stay enjoyable and one to remember. They made a lovely chocolate cake for my birthday and my husband had arranged a romantic dinner at the beach. We had an amazing stay. I would definitely go back and recommend maradiva. Only downfall that we went in september where the weather is warm but not hot and the villa swimming pool does not have warm water..it feels really cold which stopped us from using it, even tho a private pool was one of the biggest reason for me booking in first place. We only used the pool once because of the temperature of water. They were few mosquitos and bug issue on first day but the staff quickly resolved that problem.

We were there for our honeymoon.We absolutely loved our stay. We arrived early at 8:30am.The hotel staff greeted our arrival with hot hand towels and juice whilst the receptionist helped us with check-in. We opted for the luxury garden suite, which is very near to the restaurant Coast2Coast ( where we have our breakfast). It is also near to the hotel pool and beach. It is a great location if you want more privacy.The room was amazing. It has its own private pool. Room is spacious and the bed is so comfortable. They also provide twice a day room service where staff comes to change your towels and sort out our rooms. There are 3 restaurants there, Coast2Coast which is the main one and Cilantro indian restaurant and Japanese restaurant. They all provide a wide range of food, good food. The staff there are always helpful. You must try the cilantro restaurants. The japanese teppanyaki restaurant serves very delicious teppanyaki steak. The indian restaurant serves very good variety of indian food. Cocktails in this hotel is yummy and our favourite is Lychee Ti-punch. Overall, I would say this is an excellent hotel, with excellent service.

We visited Mauritius for the first time on our honeymoon and although we stayed at a total of 3 hotels/resorts, we have the most pleasant memories of our stay at Dinarobin. Pool view hugging Mount Le Morne, private pool, beautiful sunsets and sea, immaculate resort, delicious meals, fantastic staff, friendly people (special thanks to ‘Agen’ the manager and ‘Danny’ the bellman). We will definitely come back to Dinarobin when we plan our summer vacation next year and hope to see Agen and Danny again. Thank you very much for making our honeymoon unforgettable.

Our stay at Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views, immaculate grounds, and a relaxing atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the amazing staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. In particular, Solomon was fantastic – he consistently checked in on us by the pool, always with a smile, and made sure we had everything we needed. His genuine care and attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. He made us feel genuinely looked after, and his presence was a highlight of our days by the pool. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming escape in Mauritius. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Although the hotel was almost full of guests, it was not noticeable - there are many pools and a lot of space. The main pool is large and beautiful and overlooks the sea

The Dinarobin Beachcomber is in a fantastic location, right underneath La Morne, a world heritage site. There are only a few resorts right in this area (including the Beachcomber Paradis, which runs into the Dinarobin, and you can access it). The grounds are immaculate, the pool is beautiful, and there are small quiet pools in each cluster of buildings. All rooms (to my knowledge) have ocean views. The beach is great and just steps away from each room. Delicious food at the buffet each night was themed and varied. The breakfast has everything you would want. Our kids also loved the Kids Club, which had daily activities such as treasure hunts and dance parties. A great choice - exactly what we pictured for Mauritius.

The location and the view of the Lemorne was spectacular. The property itself is very huge and multiple pools were spread out so people have easy access to a pool no matter where you are located. Didn’t get to play golf. But drove past the course one day and looked well kept and beautiful. The room and bathroom sizes were huge with a very comfortable bed. The staff service esp the restaurant staff ( breakfast buffet) was the best. They went above and beyond to make sure , I and my 2 girls had the perfect time relaxing having a meal. Make sure to take advantage of their daily free activities on the property. We loved our stay - wished it was longer :)

We went for the all inclusive package and the food was really good (we had low expectations of buffet food and have not previously enjoyed all inclusive places). It was also better value than paying as you went along (even though I don’t drink alcohol). The service was smiley but not in your face. Occasional live music was pleasant. Overall the atmosphere was just very relaxed. The pools were nice although we mainly stayed on the beach. One of the pools is heated. You can snorkel straight from the beach - not the most amazing but a lot less faff than getting on a boat. My husband snorkelled for about an hour every day. First time a hotel bed has actually been more comfortable than my own! Bring beach shoes - beach is sandy but lots of coral at the edge as you go into the water.

Lovely room and facilities, food was amazing, liked option of a la carte, pool was warmer than other hotels we stayed in on the island which was great for our baby, she LOVED the pool. We had a 15min delay checking in and the staff were very apologetic and arranged for us to have late check out until 4pm which was fab.

I got married at Lux Le Morne. Will be a memory that I will never forget. The resort is on the middle of nature the Le Morne in the back makes you feel like you are in a movie. Also has many details that make a mix of traditional and modern style. The lagune water is crystal, and also resort is divided in two parts which each has a pool with Le Morne view. I do not remember the names of all the staff but thankful to all for the service to make my stay unforgatteble. I had a delay of the luggeges and when I come was stressed now I regret that I did not enjoy at the fullest. ( I was in Mauritius, why should be stressed for some clothes) The reception help me by communicating also with the airport to fasten the procedure. Mannie and the other girl from celebration corner was a huge support for my weeding as I was only with my fiance. The spa service , beach service, room service, all the waiters and staff from each of the restorants and bar was very polite and helpful. A vacation that will always has my heart with it.

Seven glorious days at Lux le Morne has been an absolute delight. Think pristine white sandy beaches lined with palm trees bordered by azure sea with coral and turtles, shady cabanas, ice cream stands, multiple restaurants including the best 8 course Japanese meal I have ever had. amazing views, water sports and tantalising food. Everything is perfect. Then you add the special sauce the staff. The team bent over backwards with special touches to make the holiday fabulous. Chef Vik who cooked the most amazing meal on a table for two at the beach, executive chef Vishal who warmly offered to cook us a special creole meal and spoilt us silly on a daily basis, Hossen the head valet, Megan and Dylan from the pool and beach bars were incredible every day another special touch. Elodie the sparkling guest services manager was a delight. So many fabulous staff, I have never been to a resort with so many special people going well out of their way to make u feel like a rockstar. What an amazing piece of paradise. Book immediately you will not regret this fabulous spot.

Staff were fantastic and very helpful , excellent service ... we loved the Kitchen Restaurant on the Beach and the food and all the staff went above and beyond to make dining a pleasure there . Enjoyed the yoga and pilates as well as Aqua .... could be more activities and better advertised

The staff were so friendly and helpful! The pool is very relaxing and quiet and sun beds are always available. The breakfast is really nice, with cooked food, cakes, pastries, fruit, pancakes, omelettes etc. There’s also lunch and dinner available at the hotel which is amazing and not too expensive, and a bar with drinks available to drink by the pool. The hotel is in a great location too! Would definitely recommend staying here, really good value for an amazing hotel. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel, which is perfectly located in the city centre, just a short walk to the public beach and many local restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated, offering a lovely pool view. While the bathroom was a bit small, it was well-equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, with a nice selection of fresh fruits, eggs, ham, and pastries. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. The pool area was also a great spot to relax. The only minor downside was that the hotel lobby and restaurant were not well air-conditioned, which made them feel a bit warm at times. Overall, a fantastic experience – I’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel is super nice and cosy. The rooms have everything you'll need during your stay (water, electric kettle, towels for the pool, etc.) and are kept very clean. They also offer regular events and live music in their restaurant and on the rooftop bar which I can recommend a lot. You can book lots of excursions right in the hotel as well. We had already planned most of our vacation beforehand so we didn't take them up on those offers but it's something to keep in mind. Also, they can organize a driver for you to take you all around the island. We used this option a lot for comfort, especially for early boat trips and such that start at the other end of the island. The hotel restaurant was great, too. The breakfast always consisted of a perfect mix of classic continental foods (like sausages, bacon, eggs, or pancakes) and delicious local fruits. For lunch and dinner, they have some great classics and local dishes as well. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff. It almost feels wrong to single specific people out because they're all amazing, but Valerie and Abdel are honestly some of nicest and most attentive people I have ever met. It was such a joy to stay with you - you guys really made our vacation even more special. Thank you so much for everything, and we hope to come back soon!

An absolute gem of a hotel. We loved our stay at the Seastar Hotel. Great value. Handy location just a minute’s walk from the relaxed and beautiful beach. Generous breakfasts, spotlessly clean and lovely communal areas - the pool area, reception seatinf and rooftop area (with jacuzzi) were great to spend time in. The hotel has a lovely, relaxed vibe and the decor is chic. Tasty food and drinks in the bar and restaurant which were very good value. The supermarket and pharmacy very close to the hotel were really useful. Live music (a solo singer/guitarist) on two of the nights and a sega on another night were great. All the staff were just brilliant - could not have been more helpful, kind and professional with extra thanks to the wonderful Laven. They all provided lots of good advice and tips on what to see and do, and how best to do it.

This js the second time we've stayed here. Love the hotel! The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is really near the beach, supermarket and there are a handful of restaurants and bars also. The bus stop is 50 m away if you want to go anywhere, which we did... We went to the local shopping centre and all the way to Port Louis for a "locals' bus ride. The hotel has a great breakfast and dinner available, and they can make you cocktails whenever you want one, which you can enjoy in their alfresco area or inside on the sofas.There are entertainment nights and a rooftop bar and jacuzzi, including the pool on the ground floor It is quiet and relaxing...a lovley vibe.. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful resort with mountain and sea view. Beach was fantastic with crystal clear water. Loved the pool and bar services at the pool and beach. The kayaking and glass bottom boat were amazing. Breakfast with sea view at both Zest and main restaurant with pool view were extensive menu with plenty of options. The restaurant stuffs were very accommodative in making special veg dishes for my husband. They gave us more than we needed.

I was at Paradis in the first weeks of September. It is literally a paradise on earth. The hotel and the staff is amazing. Super friendly, polite and highly professional. The hotel is located at Le Morne which is from my pov the most beautiful beach in Mauritius right next to the Le Morne Brabant Mountain. The amnenities of the hotel are perfect. Free water sports spot that offers free water skiing, standup paddle, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling and sailing. They have a bigger pool and a paddling pool. There is also little golf car shuttles that pick you up and bring you to the restaurants or reception from the villas. There is a very well equipped gym and you can borrow bicycles. Also they have a beautiful tennis court. In the evenings they prepare beach volleyball too. For people that like it more quiet I can recommend the villas at the south in the direction of Dinarobin (belongs also to Beachcomber) as it was my favorite beach spot. The villas are super clean and we always had warm water available. The property is big so you never have the feeling it’s crowded or so, sometimes I though we were alone there. as to the management that make the operations smooth. Thank you for this beautiful time. The hotel is an absolutely fantastic place. We return here repeatedly. The hotel staff is very helpful, friendly and always helpful. The room was clean and always tidy. Food in restaurants is always delicious. We had breakfast and dinner in the beautiful restaurant Brabant. Lunch at Zest restaurant. Afternoon coffee at the pool bar. We always liked it and we like to remember these moments. We especially thank to Mr. Balmick from Brabant Restaurant and of course to Mr. Soobeeraj and of course we also thank everyone else who care of our pleasant vacation. We look forward to another wonderful time at the Paradise hotel in the future. Thank to the Paradis Hotel team !

We had the best time! We would definitely visit again! The staff were professional, kind and lovely. We really enjoyed the facilities at the hotel, tennis, table tennis, the pools and glass bottom boat trip (we saw sea turtles swimming). The beach was also lovely to swim in and we enjoyed the food at the hotel. Kids liked the kids club activités as there is a soccer field where all the kids and some adults gathered to play soccer in the evenings! The sega dancing a highlight

The pool and restaurant areas are exactly as seen in all the pictures - did not disappoint! The resort was serene & quiet. Staff attentiveness was excellent - nothing was ever too much bother & all staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfasts had a great range of foods available Buffet dinners were good Spices & Pink Peppercorn were both lovely experiences too Lots of activities if that’s your thing 1/2 board (breakfast & dinner) was a great option for us - could still get lunches & drinks by the pool during the day if you wanted & just paid your extra tab at the end of your stay Good sunsets by the pool enjoying a drink Rooms were very clean & a generous size Laundry service did a good job us & was super efficient Loved the 12 noon check out time & the availability of a shower & use of the facilities if your departure date has an evening flight.

Sands Suites Resort and Spa blew us away with how amazing our stay here was. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the attention to detail and care for customers was above and beyond. Staff would set your towels up for you on your sun bed in the morning, come around to clean your sunglasses, offer you a five minute massage by the pool, and we’d go away for an hour and come back to our water bottles in an ice bucket etc. The rooms were beautiful - cleaned about 3 times a day, mini fridge prices reasonable and restocked daily. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the pool never felt too busy. Activities on offer (SUP, kayak, snorkelling etc) were great and well organised. We also used the gym 3 times and it was nicely air conditioned. We had massages which were lovely and the spa and sauna area are free to use. On our check out day we were allowed to use all the facilities until our taxi came at 5:45 and they even booked us a shower room at 5pm where we were provided with towels and a lovely private space to get ready for our flight home. Everything felt like great value for money. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to family and friends. Massive thank you to all staff for how well we were looked after.

Hotel has the best location, it is on Flic en Flac beach, where it has the best view that you can get over Le Morne. There are several big names hotel along the same beach (hilton, maravandi villas, sofitel, sugar beach, la pirogue), but none of these have the view that Sands Suites have. Also the beach is much better integrated to the hotel with the infinity pool next to it, in comparison with the other hotels, which are somehow separated hotel versus beach. Rooms are very big, very comfortable, bathroom is something special, very big, with a big dressing included, a separate (with door) wc, both shower and bath tub provided. A special note for the personnel, which are very professional, very well mannered. Sports equipment included.

Stayed in October for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and communicated exceptionally well to ensure everything was ready for us. The room was beautifully presented with a thoughtful welcome gift, and we were well looked after throughout our stay. The half-board option was excellent—dinners were expertly prepared with a different theme each night, offering true 5-star quality. We loved being able to step straight from our room to the beach or pool and enjoyed the free activities, including water skiing. Perfect location to explore the south island and dolphin tours that leave from Flic en flac which is only 5mins away.

From the moment we arrived until we left, the friendly and efficient team carried us on their hands. The suites are even nicer and bigger than they appear on photos. We had 2 separate verandas, a large open-plan lounge-dining room, 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom with high quality amenities and a walk-in closet. The sea view, infinity pool and gardens are immaculate. The food was exceptional! I celebrated my 60th birthday there and it was an Asian buffet for dinner. Amazing sushi, Asian dishes, Peking Duck rolls to die for… and my special birthday cake was wonderful! Lovely live music each night and very elegant overall atmosphere.

Our stay at the Maison was super! It had everything we wanted! We came to explore Mauritius and it was a perfect base from which we travelled to almost everywhere on this stunning paradise within 1 hour! The room was large, the view (indescribably beautiful the whole day and night with the most awesome sunsets), breakfasts on the terrace were enjoyable and not monotonous. Our hosts were kind and helpful. My wife wanted to buy some dragon fruit and we enquired where we can purchase it, next day Karine pitched up with a bag full on the house! For a guest house our room and balcony was really private, quiet and we seldomly noticed that there were other people around even when the parking lot was full and the rooms fully booked. The place has the perfect holiday vibe and if you so wished to; you could enjoy conversation and laughs anytime next to the wonderful pool with the hosts and other guests! Our room was perfectly cleaned every day with fresh linen regularly . (Thank you, Shandrina and Nat for your awesome service and friendliness, you were very much appreciated!) We snorkeled in the lagoon and although it is rather shallow we still saw some cute fish, some coral and a lot of sea urchins about 100m+ from the beach. The new Albion Mall with the Dodo Supermarket was a surprise as it stocked almost everything one would need for a stay. All in all: You did great! Well done Jerome and Karine! Thank You!!! Very nice big room with plenty of space and a nice balcony overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was excellent, always with fresh exotic fruits ( mango from the own courtyard) and homemade baked cake, with a fantastic view over the garden, the palms, the swimming pool and the sea. The beach was a few metres away, and a nice coral reef with beautiful fishes was just within reach. A kayak is also available to be used by the guests. Karine and Jérôme, the owners, helped with day trip bookings. Two good restaurants ( La Murène and Robinson's) are in 15/20 minutes walking distance, or 3/4 minutes by car! Karine and Jérôme created a fantastic atmosphere for everyone present. The exchange with other guests ( Bruno, Marie, Joseph and Vivianne), the talks and the sharing of experiences made our stay truly unforgettable. At breakfast, we always had the friendliness and the good mood from Nat and Sandrine. Jimmy, the reliable taxi driver, took us in security wherever we needed. The most beautiful accommodation with an amazing pool/garden and beach to the front of the property. The property is in a quiet location, with a few restaurants within walking distance that serve really good food and drinks. There are so many places to visit on this beautiful Island and it’s a great base to either stay and relax or go out to explore. Really easy to drive here too. The hosts and the ladies that serve the lovely breakfast can’t do enough for you. Always have a smile and nothing is too much. Would highly recommend.

This place is simply fantastic, it's a gem on the western coast of Mauritius. I had a spacious room with direct access to the garden, the pool area and the beach. Excellent breakfast with everything you need. Karine and Jerôme are excellent hosts (beside the fact that they have a very tasty collection of spiced rums) and they made me feel at home for two days. Albion itself is a quiet place with many locals, no large resorts, a nice beach and a couple of good restaurants.

Me and my partner loved staying here. The hosts (Karine and her husband) were so nice and helpful. They made us feel like home :) The house was incredible with big yard (with pool) directly on the beach. You can also rent a kayak for free, which we really liked :) The breakfast was also very nice (always fresh eggs, coffee, jams, homemade cakes...). We also got useful information about the trips around the island and all sightseeing things. We definitely recommed this place.

I loved the room with pool view. It was cosy, comfy bed, great AC and fridge. I was happy about the mosquito net, but we did not need to use it because the electrical repellant worked perfectly. Breakfast was excellent and we were also satisfied with the dinner. The live music in the evening was great. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is on a great location, the sunsets from the beach are beautiful. The roof pool and the main pool are great. We used the bus to go to Flic en Flac beach. A local told us the could go across the river to the Flic en Flac beach but we were not sure. We would come back to the hotel.
