Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Forio di Ischia

Stayed from 19- 26 Sept. 2014. We are three matured ladies sharing a " comfort room" which consisted of two floors close to the reception area. It consisted of a lounge, settee converted into 2 single beds, balcony with views over grassy area,lower pool and fabulous views of the bay. The first floor had a double bed with windows over looking the same view. The upper bigger pool is a little walk up some steps . There were plenty of sun lounges all over the grounds, the water in the upper pool is cooler and we had it to ourselves the few times we were using it. Walk into town is through a short cut through a private locked gate, steep in places which leads down into the harbour ( not do able with suit cases). Bus stop outside hotel, buses are always crowded with locals and tourist. Only ate twice in the evening at the hotel, disappointing food and treated discourteously by the head waiter. The bar and reception staff were very helpful and polite. On the whole a wonderful and satisfactory stay.

The location is amazing. Even though it is up the hill, you can quite easily walk to the hotel from the port. They also offer hotel shuttle which we did not use. I would recommend it to younger people as the hotel is located on a cliff and there is a lot of stairs, but we did not mind and loved the scenery. The pools nor the beach pier were not crowded at all, always a few free spaces and one afternoon we had the pool completely to ourselves (we recommend staying at the upper pool). The only problem/inconvenience for us was that the hotel restaurant is very overpriced and the quality of the food poor (the last thing you want after four days in Napoli is badly prepared frozen pizza). The breakfast was good though and you can get good pizza in the centre in the evening. Overall good stay and we think we will come back some time.

A truly five-star experience with an old world sophistication and glamour. Charming rooms, beautiful gardens, and stunning vistas. Breakfast was extensive with proper patisserie, and eggs and bacon cooked to order. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Two pools with cabanas and thermal spring jets. Waiter service by the pool and a stunningly cool bathing and sunbathing pontoon off the rocks. Go there.

Both pools and the private beach! The setting is like a “Slim Aarons” photograph. We could get cocktails at the pool, played cards, read and relaxed. We went to a beach club one day, hired a scooter the other, hung at the hotel one day. Everything was super impressive.

We loved our stay and wish we could go back immediately. Beautiful property made of multiple buildings on a hill side. The room was comfortable with good AC and plenty of closet space. The included breakfast was excellent and had a lovely view (I especially appreciated the cappuccino the staff would bring out). Staff was very friendly and nice. We noticed a few ants near our doorway our first morning and the staff immediately took care of it. As other reviewers mentioned, there’s a path that takes you from the hotel into the port, which was very convenient. It is a bit of a climb so we made sure to stock up on water and snacks whenever we went down to explore/for dinner. Two pools, which we used quite a bit, both with gorgeous views. The ocean deck was unfortunately not open when we visited end of May, but there’s a small nearby beach along the path that takes you into town (about a 5-10 min walk) There’s also a bus stop at the top of the property (you can buy tickets from the front desk or at shops around the island), which made it easy to get around. We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby while we explored after check out, which was great. Highly recommend!

This feels like such a getaway, beautifully remote with gorgeous views on all sides. The pool is not over crowded and is a mineral pool so you’re not dealing with all the usual chemicals. We had breakfast included which was lovely and had some beautiful evening meals at the property in their a la carte restaurant and also in Sant’Angelo across the bay.

Travelled with my daughter (she lives in Europe and I’m in Canada). A lovely small resort well located and with a free shuttle to the closest town. There’s a pleasant pool and, very near, a rocky beach with a thermal pool - don’t go barefoot. Superb views from everywhere and helpful staff. The food is good and fresh.

Amazing! Relaxing stay with full resort service. The thermal pools were warm, there were plenty of lounges with incredible cliff side views, and a spa you could book. The breakfast buffet had a variety of meats, cheeses, breads, and cereals. Our favourite was the fresh tomatoes and fruit - even a press to make your own freshly squeezed orange juice. Although we didn’t arrange for the half board option (which included set menu dinners), we went back for dinner two times. The service is friendly and attentive, the food delicious and huge portions, and the view was spectacular. Favourite dishes we had were rigatoni carbonara (this is served on a family-sized platter!) and the fried sea food. During the day, the cantina has salads, cheeses, and bruschetta. I could almost live off of the fresh bruschetta! The location is remote and very hilly, so, once you are on the island, arrange for a taxi or if arriving during the day, take a bus. The nearby town Panza has some shops. This resort worked best for us as a place to stay and relax instead of visit other places. We stayed at the independence Katerina which is 750 meters from the main building. It is a challenging walk with steep hills so take the shuttle (which is free and speedy!) or stay in the main building. We would highly recommend this resort to other couples or if you are spending time with family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff were lovely and helpful. A special mention for Nicole, grandson of the owner, for his kindness and good humour. Breakfast was very good, and the thermal pools were gorgeous. Dining a la carte was a challenge for one of us but only because food containing octopus was not for that palette. Lunch is located separately from the evening dining rooms with a delightful view out to sea and good choices on the menu. The set evening menu tended to be better i.e. less adventurous. Of course this is all a matter of personal taste. Getting round the island is really easy by bus and it is not expensive to do so. The hotel provides an excellent shuttle service to Panza, which is a good walk up hill from the hotel to catch the buses. The shuttle will also pick up from Panza if you are not able or willing to walk back from there. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Zagara suite is an exceptional room. Large with a private pool. lemon grove, outdoor dining area and two large bathrooms.

Amazing experience, stunning location, and superior service. We took one of the suites with infinity pool access, where enjoyed the tranquillity of the sunset after spending the day through the 11 thermal pool and whirlpool. The restaurants are great, and the staff is highly committed to make the guests experience a “want to come back”. And I definitely will!

Views are exceptional and all the staff were very nice. We had a private pool which was wonderful and the main pools were excellent. The location of the hotel was outstanding with great views and a convenient shuttle o get us to the town and back. The spa was also excellent and we enjoyed our massages which we has on two occasions

Returning after 9 yrs and seeing the magic has not left . The resort ,most known for its bevy of pools , keeps it up . The main pool is heated to a comfortable temperature with flowing showers on each side of a bubbling bench . It is relaxing as you feel the thermal waters . Cold plunge pool along with warmer jet infused plunge pools with brilliant views . You can take the shuttle to the beach and sit on your reserved chair and umbrella . The sea was wonderful and calm . The bi-level villas are amazing with your own plunge pool and stunning views . You can not go wrong here with cocktails watching a stunning sunset or a delicious pizza for lunch . The grounds have plenty of area to explore including lemon groves . In 9 yrs away the property has grown tremendously but the friendly staff and beauty remain

From the minute we entered the resort, the staff was amazing. They welcomed us with the most delicious lemonade made from their lemon trees. The rooms were clean spacious and well maintained. There was a great restaurant for pizza and casual lunches during the day. The dinner at La Veranda was also delicious. The breakfast that was included was delicious and the overall restaurant service was impeccable. The hotel offers an on-demand shuttle to town. The town is adorable. There were so many cute shops and restaurant options there. The resort has the most amazing views of the bay. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The resort has multiple pools and a spa. We never had trouble getting a beautiful lounge by the pool. The spa was amazing. Guests can use the steam room, sauna, cold plunge pool, jacuzzi at no extra charge. A few people in our party got massages which were reasonably priced and amazing. There is beach access, but we enjoyed the pools so much that we never went to the beach. My son got engaged while we were there. The resort arranged for a photographer and a romantic dinner, and it all went perfectly. I can't say enough great things about San Montano Resort and Spa. I will definitely be going back here soon. It was one of the best hotels I've been to.

The location was amazing! Right on the coast with ocean access and gorgeous outdoor areas for soaking up the sun or having a cocktail at the bar. The staff was so fabulous!! So friendly and helpful. They had great recommendations for restaurants and thing to do. They were happy to make dinner reservations. Wonderful breakfast in a beautiful room facing the sea. Loved walking to the Casamicciola Terme for dinner and gelato. Easy access to take the bus to the port, the Castello, St Angelo etc. The hotel has the best cab driver on call as well. Then of course is the amazing spa. Great massage. Love the thermal water pool and the sauna. Great stay!!

It was a paradise. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel La Madonnina. Great view of the sea and surroundings. All the staff made us feel welcome and went out of there way to help with making sure our holiday went well. They worked very hard. The beach decking and sea pool was amazing. Canoeing, swimming. Cocktails. Staff. George made us laugh each day. Breakfast was all that you could want. Restraunt food was tasty and of high standard. Would love to come back some day with my family from Australia. We loved everything about this hotel, from the attentive staff to the lovely room overlooking the sea, spacious bathroom, thermal pool, the sea facilities below, and the restaurant. Wish we had more time to spend there--two nights was not enough. The hotel is located a short walk away from a few local restaurants, but transportation (cheap bus or more costly taxi) needed to get to other places on the island. A shuttle service was provided for us to reach a thermal park, which was very much appreciated.

The highlight of this property is the sea pool and deck area that you have available to hotel guests only. It was perfect and we swam there everyday. The rooms were simple and the location on the cliff was great. Local bus stop was across the street from the property making it easy to get around.

Central but quiet location. Stunning ocean view. Amazing private beach and pool facilities. Room and hotel plan - great. Finish and style of the resort - fantastic. Spa treatments and staff were wonderful. Exceptional breakfast, local specialties, generous and variety for all pallets. Special mention for Francesca who’s breakfast service made our mornings wonderful.

This place is more than one can ask for. It is a beautiful villa with a sea view, well maintained and surrounded by nature and gordious garden flowers. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with private terraces/patio. There is a nice pool as well. The owners give the special charm to this place. In the morning Lucia bakes fresh cakes for an Italian style breakfast and Carlo will give you all the information and solve all the problems. They are very committed to their guests and we felt genuinely welcomed. They waited and drove us from the port to the accommodation when we arrived, and also on the way back. They even offer to guests to pick them from the bus stop in front of the villa if they are not in the mood for steep walking. Lucia and Carlo, great team at amazing place for a memorable vacation.

We spent four unforgettable days at Villa Araucaria and it was nothing short of magical. The villa itself is spotless: spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and fully equipped to cook like at home. The views were also absolutely magical and can be enjoyed from several areas around the villa. The peace and quiet surrounding the house made it a perfect oasis to relax in. The pool is the cleanest we have ever seen and the lush garden is maintained daily and looks spotless every day. Carlo could not welcome us but Nausicaa management agency took care of us and made sure our stay was absolutely magical ❤️ We were a group of nine and everyone agreed that this is the best villa we have ever stayed in and we would happily return. Highly recommended!

We had the best time at Villa Araucaria! The hosts Carlo and Lucia are the best hosts that are trying everything to make your stay the best time and are so friendly and helpful. They give you recommendations what to do on the island and even offer a pick-up service. It is a great property with an amazing few and a lot of space! Great pool area and sitting area. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. We immidiately felt like home in the Villa! In additon, they offer a great dinner which you need to try. Very authentic, local and delicious food, which you can individually choose every night. Also they are offering parking spaces and tell you exactly how to find these. We will definitely come back!

If you want to stay in a nice place with stunning view and cosy swimming pool, Villa Araucaria is the best choice. Everywhere is clean and there is also a huge terrace. Lucia is a great host, she can offer you fruits and wine during the day and great breakfast in the morning. Carlo speaks fluently English, he knows everything about the island and he advice you very well. And he also explain you where the apartment is, because it is not so easy to find it. An absolutely fantastic stay! It is such a beautiful property run by a lovely and kind family. The swimming pool and solarium are fantastic and the breakfast in the morning is fresh and delicious. The Villa is just a short walk from a bus stop which is well connected. It is also a very short walk from Parco Castiglione thermal baths. It is quite a steep hill but the owner’s nephew was kind enough to help my elderly mum with a few lifts in his car. Can’t wait to come back soon.

The location, the peace and quiet, the pool area, the availability of sunbeds, the poolside staff were all amazing. Having the shuttle bus around the island was also helpful and reasonably priced at EU4 per person, per journey. The spa was also lovely and we enjoyed a back & shoulder massage. The breakfast looked nice with plenty of options if you are not vegan! The reception staff were very helpful and gave lots of information and were available at all times. We were given a lovely lemon welcome drink on arrival. One night we asked about having a bottle of wine and we were brought a choice of 4 to our area outside the room, which was lovely. The room was cleaned to a high standard each day and was well equipped with USB charging points, plenty of towels and storage. The bed was comfy. The minibar wasn't overpriced, so it was nice to be able to have a drink from there. Cocktails at the main bar were fantastic and there are plenty to choose from. The salads were lovely, with fresh lemons and olives. There was always availability of sunbeds and it never felt busy around the pool area. It was clean and tidy. Again, the staff were helpful, friendly and generally lovely. There is also a lovely takeaway pizza place 10 mins walk away!

The facility was quite lovely with a beautiful pool area with a bar. We ordered lunch at the pool one day, and drinks the next evening by the pool. Lots of seating and lounging available. Both of our rooms were garden view and had chairs in the "garden" area which felt private. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, so many selections to choose from. You can request your espresso for the morning and don't have to stick to the Americano type coffee. The hotel offers "transfers" with their van but be aware it is not part of the price, so you will see charges for each transfer provided when you check out. Having said that, it still costs less than if you hired a taxi to take you around the island.

The breakfast was good and fresh with a local procucts. The pool area is amazing, fantastic place for relax with exceletnt limoncelo sprits. The stuff by the pool were so kind. We liked small snacks with drinks. That is very nice compliment.

Fantastic pool area. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. A well designed boutique hotel. We had a room with a small terrace by the pool, very nice. Very comfortable beds. The cleaning staff were excellent.

I found the hotel very relaxing and casual, like spending time in your private house. The hotel staff is always willing to help out … sometime you need to ask but they are always so kind to do at their best what you ask for. We enjoyed lunch on the swimming pool and some relaxing time at SpA. Amazing lemonade and fruit cocktails. We also enjoyed the garden a lot.

The accommodation is nicely done and has a good vibe, especially the garden and outside terrace. The sea and Forio views were very nice. Very convenient parking and helpful host who helped us arranged car rental. The private pool looked fantastic, but it was rather cold at the end of October so we did not use it - it must be great in the Summer though.

What a wonderful way to end our holiday. Accomodation was spacious, spectacular views, excellent location. Hosts were kind enough to allow us use of a pool, and that combined with the hot tub at our villa made for a perfect stay

We recently spent a week at Exclusive Home Ischia, and it was nothing short of exceptional. This luxury apartment provided the perfect setting to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary — a truly unforgettable experience. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that we never tired of. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and extremely well-equipped. The rooftop terrace, complete with a hot tub and panoramic views over Ischia, was a dream — the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine at sunset. The hosts were incredibly generous and welcoming. There was a bottle of Prosecco chilling for us on arrival and the next day, fresh pastries were brought to us. Nothing was too much trouble. Exclusive Home Ischia is a very special place — ideal for a romantic escape, a celebration, or simply to relax in comfort and style. We will absolutely be back.

Location location location , it is just stunning , very close for swimming restaurants and shops so in the heart of everything in ischia ponte but also very peaceful . The apartment was spotless and the roof terrace was such an added bonus outdoors with the hot tub ( obviously not heated in July sunshine ) roof terrace had adequate seating and sun loungers so it was perfect . There was a bottle of bubbly chilling in ice and bottled water there on arrival which was a very nice touch . Gabriella is a wonderful host who was there to answer any questions with speedy responses . Even though it’s a very expensive holiday apartment , we were treating ourselves as it was a special birthday so felt it was well worth it for a a treat .

The jaw-dropping view of the sea and Castello Aragonese is visible from almost every window, the kitchen and terrace. And you can go swimming right outside the door - there’re even steps that drop right into the water. The apartment is well-appointed, comfortable, modern, and immaculate. The white-washed walls and beautiful blue and white tile work give it a Greek island feel. The kitchen comes with everything you’d need to prepare a full meal, and there’re shops and restaurants right in the neighborhood. Gabriella, our host, was charming and accommodating, greeting us with fruit and a chilled bottle of Prosecco, and even mailing me back an adapter that I had inadvertently left behind.

Gabriella, our host met us when we arrived. They carried all of our luggage up to our beautiful apartment. She made us feel very comfortable. She had a map and several suggestions as to where we could go for shopping, eating, etc. In the kitchen we found Prosecco and cookies among other goodies. The next morning she had fresh pastries dropped off at our door! They were amazing! She also arranged our transportation and made sure we were taken to another port when our ferry got canceled. If it weren't for her, we would have missed our flight. Gabriella was better than you could imagine! We loved her!!!

The property was located very strategically. It was modern, very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the view from the terrace above. Our host, Gabriella, really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with welcome gifts and also morning sweet breakfast. She was accessible at all times when we needed help!

The pool and the sunsets!! The pool is heated by the thermal springs and is around 33 degrees 😃. Lots of banana lounges with comfy cushions. Gardens are beautiful with lots of places to sit and enjoy the spectacular view. Loved opening my doors to the Mediterranean each morning. Mini-mart, gelato, bus stop, and great restaurant right next to the property. Alessandra our host helpful with arrangements, and Tornike was great onsite looking after the pool and helping us as needed 😊. We were a group of friends from Australia and UK and it was a perfect place for a reunion!

Beautiful property on a hillside with stunning views down to the beach. The views and sunsets are out of this world. Well equipped, with a good-sized thermal pool and a barbecue, generous seating and tables everywhere, lots of dishes, large fridge. Lovely flowers and trees in the large garden. The house is particularly suited to be shared by several parties - we were ten people, two families plus a grandmother - as each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the pairs of bedrooms are far enough apart for privacy. There are adequate facilities (mini market, cafés, bus stop) nearby, and more shops can be reached by a short bus trip. The nice beach below - Citara Beach, which has some shops and restaurants - can be reached via a pretty footpath down the hill in about 10 minutes. The Poseidon Thermal Gardens are just behind the beach. Care does have to be taken with small children as there are several unprotected areas, but our children - five aged between one and five - managed well with repeated warnings (the tiny tots have to be watched constantly anyway). People with severe mobility issues might struggle with the short path up the hill to the street, but this is no problem for any reasonably fit person. The hostess reacted very quickly to one problem we had and got it solved within a few hours, and on a Sunday, much appreciated. We all - adults and children alike - thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return any time.

The villa is located only a few kms from Fiori port and it was an easy walk to our villa. I’d suggest taxi if anyone has mobility issues due to the walking distance. Villa was very clean and had such a wonderful relaxed feel. Beautiful gardens with pool and BBQ area. Fresh lemons and herbs for guest use. Air conditioned and washing machine. There are great restaurants and supermarket only 500m away from the villa. Free beach is also a short walk. This was a great villa for families. We were a group of 8 and absolutely loved our time here! Rita also very helpful and responsive to all questions. We will be back!

The location is very quiet, maybe too quiet if you want to spend the evenings at the restaurants and bars from the center of Forio. They are about a 20-30 minute walk from the property. It was good for us, but probably not everyone enjoys a walk in the middle of the night. Restaurants and several mini markets nearby, without needing a car. The garden of the property is wonderful, full of fruit trees. The communication with Rita, our host, was absolutely remarkable. We followed her recommendations, both in terms of restaurants and attractions on the island, and we were 100% satisfied with everything she recommended. Thank you Rita for the exemplary way you treated us during the entire stay.

Great place, beautiful house and garden, privacy, great Rita, available and extremely helpful. The property is close to the beach, town, everything in walking distance! Definitely we will be back!

This is a beautiful property in Ischia and was perfect for our group of six. The house and garden are spacious and the location was excellent. It was close to transport options but also quiet. The views from the upper area are spectacular. Communication with the host was excellent. The welcoming bowl of fruit along with pantry basics was really appreciated. This property exceeded our expectations.

A beautiful, airy villa in an ideal location, within easy reach of great local restaurants and 20 minutes walk to Forio, but in a quiet spot. The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind. The house is perfectly designed for a family or small group, with ample indoor and outdoor space, and everything you need to be comfortable.

The property was amazing! The views from both inside and the roof terrace are incredible, whilst the property also provides a lot of private space. We spent the majority of our time around the pool area.

The property had plenty of room, was modern and very clean. The pool area and outdoor kitchen were great. Simone was fantastic, really helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The pool and sunbeds were excellent. The outside kitchen was good and functional. The Italian (Gianni) host was extremely helpful. The kitchens were well stocked with cutlery and crockery.

The style of the hotel is lovely, clean and modern but also comfortable. The pool and pool restaurant are fantastic. All the staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is a short walk to restaurants, shops, beach and castle. Also only 15 minutes in a cab from the port. Breakfast is great. A complimentary drink voucher is given on arrival and the view from the roof bar is stunning.

We had a great time here. The rooms were lovely, modern and clean. Continental breakfast was great. The pool was good with plenty of beds. There is a free spa area with steam and hot pool. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Really excellent customer service.

The location was great, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and beaches, and bus stops are close by for anywhere else you want to go. The hotel staff were super helpful and friendly, arranging taxis for us and asking every day if we needed help or information about getting to places. Breakfast was good, with choices of eggs, cheese and meat, breads with tomatoes, croissants etc, cereals, yogurt and fruit. Coffee was great. The gardens are a pretty place to sit for a drink or breakfast, and the bar is available any time for drinks both hot and cold. The thermal pool was lovely to come back to after a day out - just be sure to pack dark coloured swimwear as the high iron content in the water can stain - the hotel provides you with towels for the pool. Rooms are basic but comfortable and have everything you need, albeit a bit low on storage but we made it work. If we come back to Ischia we will definitely return to Hotel Europa, and would like to go on the boat trip the hotel organises as we missed it this time around - it's probably best to book that before arrival we've realised.

Great location between Ischia port and Ischia ponte. Both walkable. Comfortable and plenty of hot water. Friendly and helpful staff. Thermal pool. Pool towels included. Quiet room. could just see the sea. Patio doors so we could look out but we didn’t get a balcony.

Exceptional, great location, clean spacious room, loved the hotel and the warm spring water pool. . The boat trip the hotel offer is a must do, excellent day out on the boat around the island with lunch , wine and some great swimming spots. Breakfast had a good variety and great selection. A big thank you to all the staff for Exceptional customer service always there to help and also with information getting around the Island. A big shout out to Sandro, Roberto, Antonio and Andrea for your excellent hospitality, nothing was ever too much or a problem. We will be back, Rita and Christina Australia 🇦🇺

Well located, close to the amazing castle and nearby the beach and nice restaurants. The building is not new but very well maintained, super clean and with all we needed. Breakfast really tasty and with a lot of choices. The thermal pool is also a gift after the exhausting day. The staff is one of the friendliest and nicest we ever had in a hotel, always with a smile on their face and willing to help. They also managed to rent a motorbike for us. I would 100% recommend it and go back if I ever visit ischia again.

This hotel is perfect. The grounds are massive so I was expecting a very busy and noisy hotel but that was not the case at all. As there are two outdoor pool areas, one indoor and the beach there are plenty of options for people. There was never a fight for sunbeds there was always space available whatever time of day you went to the pools/beach. All pool areas were so nice be sure to try them all and the beach. Rooms were very nice and clean - perfect! Location is great there are a few nice local restaurants nearby and a lovely market close to the hotel.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! My wife and I felt very relaxed and happy with our stay. Very welcoming reception staff. The half board was worth every penny with amazing & delicious dinner every night. The pools were beautiful and well maintained with sea water (jets, water bike) & the beach although small very enjoyable. The indoor SPA with 3 thermal pools and steam sauna was excellent. The room are very tastefully furnished, the bed was comfortable, the lighting very good. In the bathroom we found, in addition to the usual bath towels, beach towels, flip-flops and bathrobes. The hotel is full of aesthetics and romantic. The hotel is about a 15 min. drive to Forio, 10 mi. to Negombo Thermal Park and 20 min. to Giardini Poseidon Thermal Park.

Everything was superb, second visit this year. Now all the pools are open as well.Loved the open air pool. Beach was clean and beds available. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of Italian , continental choices. Location was good , very easy to get on the local busses and visit the whole island.

Tasty food, good vibe selection, comfy logistic. Variety of options… pools, sea, thermal pools, spa. Inspiring place, highly professional staff both restaurant and reception. Soothing atmosphere with combination of lush vegetation of the gardens, designed in a good taste.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Terme , I stayed there for a week and even though it was raining most mornings , I was able to get a few hours on the beach. The beach being right on the property is excellent and the spas indoors (2 pools and a sauna) was nice and available to all guests. On the rainy days it was very packed in there. On the outside there are two additional pools and hot tubs overlooking the water. There’s a garden and buffet style restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. A beautiful 20-30 minute walk to Forio. The staff was also very friendly. Really enjoyed my stay. I’ll add that most people staying there were older and couples so as a solo traveler not a lot of migling but everyone was nice. Definitely recommend

For the price, I cannot sing this hotels praises enough! Spotlessly clean - both the rooms and communal areas are kept very clean, the pool area is immaculate. Lovely staff - the staff are all very friendly, polite and attentive, they really run the place well. Breakfast - we loved the breakfast! Simple but effective, got coffees and ham and cheese omelettes made fresh for us each morning, then had access to the pastries/ fruit etc buffet. Area - wonderful sea view (we were blessed with a sea view room). About a 5 min bus from the port where there’s beaches and restaurants and the bus stop is outside the hotel. (Slight warning - the bus timetable doesn’t seem to mean much haha, might end up waiting abit longer that planned but they do eventually come, promise!) Extra note. - we wouldn’t necessarily recommend the beach/spa below the hotel, although the access to the sea there is absolutely fantastic it’s a really lovely calm bay to swim in, the resort itself is very dirty and definitely not worth 20€ each. A definite sudden change in cleanliness from the super clean hotel pool.

Great location, beautiful view , on bus line, right out front of the hotel. Friendly staff, comfy bed and wonderful shower. good Wi-fi in hotel and at the pool . swimming pool so warm, could walk to local thermal spas! RELAXING VACATION!

The views were amazing, the pool clean. The water in the pool was really hot. The hotel was good value for money. A liitke bit outdated, but it was totally expected and we did not need more. The balcony was just perfect. The location was really good- the bus stop was right outside the hotel. We could also walk around 15 mins to one city and 30 mins to another one. The staff was very friendly. Our stay was just perfect.

Very good location with sea view and within walking distance to the marina and some restaurants, has free private parking, nice pool deck, and just down below there is a wonderful spa park with pools, saunas, and sea access, to spend the day. I would say one of the best locations on the island.

Breakfast was tasty and had an incredible view. Staff were super friendly.. Pool is amazing. Beautiful view, lovely water, lovely poolside bar. Room was clean and tidy and pleasant. Location was amazing, 20 mins walk from nearest town and port and 30 mins in other direction for ischia port with regular buses.

We stayed in 3 different hotels on Ischia (same location): Torre Sant Angelo, Punta and Villa Myremi. Torre Sant Angelo has the best views and a really good breakfast, Punta has a unique looking like a cave tunnel with thermal water and Villa Myremi has the best value for money and the best customer care. At Torre we really enjoyed breakfasts and views. We also enjoyed a transfer from hotel to the bus stop. We also liked staying for few more hours at the pool after check out. Thank you for this. In Torre Sant Angela they have 3 pools. In addition, In Torre Sant Angelo they also have a wellness area with a sauna, whirlpool, steam room, hot/cold/massage showers. No additional charges. I enjoyed it. 3 outside pools have warm thermal water with healing properties. But you should keep in mind that these waters bore various components of radium, radon, thorium, uranium, and actinium. Together with this the radioactivity is so low that it is not harmful. It’s still recommended to remain immersed for no more than 15 minutes. 10 min down the stairs from hotel you can find the sea. You could swim. Please keep in mind that Sorgeto beach is not sandy or pebbled. It has big rocks, some sharp with lots of fish and crabs in the water. Baia di Sorgeto is also a public thermal springs with a number of visitors during the day, but it’s empty till 8am. Thank you for all positive moments and smiles.

This hotel was great. It is a family run business and they were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had very good food - the view is absolutely amazing from the dining room. The rooms were very clean and large. We had planned on seeing the island, but ended up staying put at the hotel because there was so much to do. The have an amazing spa on the bottom floor - it has a steam room, sauna, a couple of fun large showers that have hot and cold water stations as well as a jacuzzi. There is also another jacuzzi outside as well as two thermal pools - one warm and one cool. A five minute walk up the street and down many, many stairs and you come to a natural pool where a thermal spring is pouring water out of the base of the cliff into the sea water. You can get close and it is very hot at the source and as you move further away it gets cooler. All the benefits of a thermal spring. At night (or during the day) the hotel staff will drive you into town for free - and pick you up later when you call. They also arranged transportation for us from the hotel, to the ferry dock and had a car waiting at the port in Naples to take us to the airport. It was definitely way cheaper than if we had booked it ourselves. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel offers stunning views, especially of the charming Sant Angelo town, which is truly picturesque. The thermal pools and spa zone are exceptional, providing a perfect place to relax. The rooms are very comfortable, and the beds are excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The restaurant serves delicious food, making every meal a pleasure. Most importantly, the staff is wonderful—friendly, attentive, and dedicated to providing excellent service. They take care of every guest's needs, offering helpful assistance and information. The nearby natural thermal sea pools add to the unique experience. While the bus stop is a bit of a walk away, the hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the station, which is very convenient. Renting motor scooters from the hotel is also a great option, as the island's roads are lovely to explore. Overall, it was an amazing stay and a truly memorable experience.

Pietro and family were incredible hosts, always very helpful and friendly. The room was great and very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children, cleaned daily, useful mini fridge and very good air-conditiong. The restaurant is fantastic, delicious food with stunning views. The pool area is very relaxing, pools are thermal water so warm, different yet really lovely. The spa area is delightful, I found it a necessary sanctuary to escape the heat and sun around midday. We were well aware of the location and had a rental car so experienced no inconvenience in that sense, however there is also a free shuttle service twice a day. Highly recommend.

Very good location with friendly staff, fantastic view from a standard room. Good spa with heated (vulcanic water I guess) outside pool in April, which we enjoyed much, together with the free spa with hot spa pools. A great place for a calm and relaxation vacation, with great food in the hotel's restaurant which serve own grown vegatables.

Bright, cheerful, comfortable and with very friendly and helpful staff we enjoyed a relaxing and restful holiday in lovely surroundings, lots of flowers and blue seas, and pretty fishing villages. The only minor drawback, was the steep pathway and/or steps up to the hotel entrance from the beach. Fortunately it only takes two or three minutes and we were not affected but it may affect people with mobility problems. The food was amazing with a very comprehensive buffet breakfast, and four course lunches and dinners if required (cheaper if you elect to upgrade from B&B to half or full board). Masses of local produce used by the chef, and very acceptable and affordable local wines. Reception staff able to arrange any number of excursions etc, - we did three to Pompeii/Versuvius; The Amalfi Coast, and to Capri and all went without any hitches at all, being collected and returned to the hotel. There were no unexpected items on our bill on check-out, and tipping is not expected - although we did spoil them a little bit because we had had such a wonderful holiday. Two pools - both thermal, one inside and one out, and all the other trappings of a super spa hotel. Fishing festival with fireworks whilst we were there - quite spectacular (end September), and live entertainment in hotel occasionally. The staff were great without exception - all willing to try out their english, and advise us in italien. Would recommend to anyone, although may not suit children and teenagers so well.

We stayed at Hotel San Giorgio Terme and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is fantastic, with a private beach area just a five-minute walk away and a bus stop conveniently right in front of the hotel. The place is impeccably clean, cozy, and set on the magical island of Ischia, which truly adds to the charm. Breakfast was a real highlight — very good, rich, and full of fresh products, with excellent coffee to start the day. The spa area is also wonderful, with inviting thermal pools equipped with different nozzles along their length - perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation after a day of exploring. The staff deserve special mention for their warmth and professionalism. A heartfelt thank you to Sabrina in the massage studio, Pina from the spa, and the tall blond gentleman at reception working the night shifts (sadly we didn’t catch his name). They all made our stay feel so welcoming. We originally booked for seven nights but enjoyed both the hotel and the island so much that we extended our stay by another three nights. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger. Highly recommended!

On Arrival we took a taxi and it was 25 Euro. We did not know or investigate the bus until we were settled in our rooms. Bus is about 1.70 Euro, but you have to deal with luggage and locals. Rooms we had were facing the hills in the back and had porches. Loved the cool lavenders and blues and all clean tile floors. Thermal pool was great. Breakfast was very adequate and sat on terrace overlooking the ocean. Beach was a walk down the hill and to the right. Pebbly gray voocanic sand. Water was clear and fell to depth pretty quick. Many great little places to eat all along the beach. We were there in early August and it was not full. This island is a retreat that the Italians come and much quieter and nicer than Capri

Great location for the Maronti Beach. Superb service in the restaurant. Definitely recommend including the half board option as the food was fantastic. The breakfast "wow"ed as well. We had two rooms since we have 3 children and they put an extra bed in one of the rooms. Family friendly; however, the spa/indoor pool is for 18 or older. That was disappointing since they had just raised the age limit.

The view made up for the slight discrepancies. An excellent pool area and beach dock with crystal clear waters. The thermal spa is a must and useful if the weather is not to good. There is a heated indoor pool, a cold shallow pool, steam room and jacuzzi. The room itself was a little tired. Curtains pulled off the railing, doors scratched and the bedside, with a bulb not working and french doors difficult to open. Both were mentioned to the front desk but were never fixed. There is no body lotion in the bathroom but there was soap and shampoo. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful but often we felt forgotten at breakfast when being asked for drinks or clearing the table.

The hotel is located atop a cliff that provides fantastic panoramic views over the sea back to the mainland, other islands and the local surrounds. It has a fantastic array of facilities including a wonderful out door pool, an indoor pool, spa, steam room, a beautiful restaurant, full sized pool table and via a descent of more than 250 stairs, a swimming pontoon on the Mediterranean sea. Our room was spacious, with a wonderful out door balcony that presented the wonderful panoramic views. The room also included the modern amenities you would expect; TV, Fridge, Internet etc. The bathroom was roomy and well appointed.

The hotel charges for most amenities i.e; towels at the pool, mandatory that even bald men purchase a head cap to wear in the pool. Dining staff excellent. No elevator. Many steps to climb. Outdoor pool wasn't heated.

We loved our stay here. Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful, especially Anna, Joe, Norma and Federica and Dario. The room was large and I loved the tile on the floors and the sea view! The swimming pool is great and so are the inside thermal pools. It's a long walk down to the sea (close to 300 stairs), but worth it once you get down there. The sea deck is a perfect place to relax, sunbathe and access the water. Swimming in the med there is amazing! The restaurant at the hotel has beautiful sea views that are incredible for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The breakfast at the hotel has everything you could every want. I'm still thinking about it! The hotel is a short bus or taxi (15 Euro) ride from Ischia Porto (the town/port area), or you can walk. It took us about 20-25 minutes to walk to town. There is a free hotel shuttle to town, but it has limited times available to take it. We had a great experience at Le Querce and would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely brilliant stay at Casa Adolfo. We loved every second. Perfect location, a few steps to climb, but that's how you get the knockout view of St Angelo. The owner picked us up from the bus stop (which is closer by) when we arrived, which was a nice touch. We arrived late and the pool was closed so he kindly offered to open it up for an hour for us which was so nice. Rooms are lovely, comfy beds, and power shower! The maids were lovely and kept our room spotless every day. The pool is heated with a built-in jacuzzi with a killer view. I never wanted to get out! The gardens are beautiful with an olive Grove. Lemon trees are throughout the grounds, so we made lemon water every morning. Snack bar on site is good and affordable, and there is a mini mart close by for groceries. Book this hotel, I promise you'll love it as much as we did! There is a lovely little dog and cat on site, too, which are very friendly and added to our stay. Thank you for making my stay in ischia so memorable. Don't forget to get the water taxi from St Angelo to the volcanic beach with hot sand! Bury yourself in it for 15 minutes, and all body pains go for 3 hours! Best experience ever!

The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good - had some variety, including fresh fruit. The view was amazing alongside the property that was covered in greenery. The pool was an added bonus but were shocked when told swim caps were mandatory in the pool - however, it was very clean.

Very nice hotel, primarily for adults. A lot of rules around the pool. We were at the hotel with 3 active kids and they were not allowed to run, play ball, jump into the pool or to use the spa. But it is a very nice/quiet hotel…

First off location is ideal. The views from pool side are stunning. There are so many great areas to just relax and unwind after a beach day in sant angelo. The property grounds are lush with palm trees and lemon trees and many others plants that have been growing since the early 1980’s. You can tell right away that the property is well maintained and clean. Francesco his wife and staff are wonderful. They go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful vacation. The rooms are more than adequate. The air conditioning is super powerful and keeps the room at a nice and chilly temperature if that is what you are looking for. The daily breakfast is fresh and plentiful and most importantly delicious. The coffee is wonderful. Caffe latte or cappuccino is excellent. There are toasters if you like your bread toasted which is a great touch by Italian standards. The breakfast areas are wonderful. Choices of meats and cheese. 4 different types of breads. Plentiful of fresh fruits and croissants and cakes and other goodies. Cereals and yogurts. Different jams and crackers. There are also 4 different types of juices. Each one better than the other. The man working in the breakfast area is exceptional. In ending. The walk to and from Saint Angelo beach is one we will never forget. The views are out of this world. We loved absolutely everything here: Starting with the husband and wife owners who work hard from the first hour of the morning until late at night. It is a bit of a climb from the bus station to the hotel. But easy, nothing to be afraid of! And yet, because we had luggage, the owner brought us from the bus station to the Hotel with a kind of electric tuk-tuk. He did the same on his way out. Very clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Dream view. The swimming pool. Garden . Very good restaurant with convenient prices. Very polite staff and ready to serve you at any moment. Very close to the harbor and the main attractions of Saint Angelo. I don't have enough words to thank you! We will definitely come back here!
