Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Fort Myers Beach

Memorial Day Weekend 2025- decided to head down for a quick trip over the weekend. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We arrived early and were able to get our room immediately. There are two restaurants in site. Cabañas pool bar, and Conte- bit more upscale. Cabañas is your typical pool beach bar, good attentive staff with your typical bar food. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, appetizers and your usual bar food Conté- is a bit upscale and you’ll pay a bit more. It is located in second floor and the views of the beach are amazing while you eat. We ate at both and were pleased with the meals. I would avoid the wings at Cabañas, not enough for the price. The room was a one bedroom with pull out couch with a patio that faced the beach. It was a good room. Beds were comfortable and the room was more than appropriate for our stay. The pool is a good size and has plenty of chairs and umbrellas. There is also a row of chairs and umbrellas that are located outside the pool area that face the beach. The beach is a short walk from hotel. You can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach from a vendor not affiliated with hotel. They also rent jet skis and other water sport activities. I would definitely consider returning to this hotel.

Great place to stay if you want to be on the beach with a pool, pool service, bar/food etc. Only two criticisms, air conditioner is EXTREMELY loud, and the mattresses are hard as rocks and wrecked my poor husbands back. Loved the layout, shower, screened in balcony and pool service/restaurant/bar and proximity to the beach.

DiamondHead has never disappointed us and this year was not different! I love what they have done with Cabanas "Poolside" and the addition of the Volleyball and Bags area just off of the pool. The service and servers were great at the poolside. Can't wait to go back next year!!

This property was in a great location so we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. We spent most of our it time at the pool and ate at Cabanas several times and the food was good. Drink prices were also very reasonable for staying in a resort. We also really enjoyed the live music every day. The room was surprisingly large and overlooked the pool/Beach. We would definitely stay here again. Only drawback is it would be nice if they sold drinks or snacks somewhere on the property.

The room was incredible. Elegant and oceanfront. The beach is gorgeous and has been replenished after Hurricane Ian 2 years ago. And the pool is heated. Poolside restaurant is good and reasonably priced though you can walk to others that are famous

Spent 13 days at this gem of a place... wonderful hot breakfasts with sweet staff hosts, private pool and hot tub exceptionally clean, super bbq area for eat in nights, walkout King room was perfect and housekeeping staff were efficient and reliable. We will definitely return . Thank you so much!

Property was very clean and well kept. The rooms were very spacious and clean as well. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of options. The pool wasn't working, but we were offered the pool next door at their other Hilton location. (across the parking lot) We definitely recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect. Felt like a newly built hotel. Breakfast, pool and BBQ area was very nice. Grilled some steaks with some friends out by the pool.

The only issue was the pool. The water was very murky and dirty. We asked the front desk and they didn't know when it was last cleaned but said people were complaining. They finally closed it and had people working on it. Not sure when it opened back up because we had to leave .Other than the pool, which we were looking forward to, everything else was very nice.

This hotel was in great condition. Only minor blemishes, but overall in great condition. The staff was incredibly kind and considerate. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable. The breakfast crew did an amazing job. We were there multiple days and every day the breakfast was excellent. We felt safe on this property. We appreciated being able to walk to activities beyond the hotel. The pool area was in great condition. Very quiet and well maintained.

My husband and I stayed for 18 nights, our first time in Cape Coral and we loved the area. The lovely, spacious villa was our home from home. We found the master suite king bed very comfortable and loved the large shower in the generous bathroom. The living room had a large comfy corner sofa which was ideal for us on an evening while watching TV. The internet connection was very good. Our favourite area was the swimming pool. The pool itself was a good size and was South facing so we had the sun all day, with beautiful evening sunsets. It felt very private and there was a waterway at the back so the view was great while we relaxed around the pool. We saw flying fish, turtles and the odd boat sailing by. Certainly a lot better than just staring at a fence!! Hurricane Milton hit while we were there. Fortunately the villa is well built and also has a generator so we were not worried at all and didn't lose power. Theresa the host and the management company were excellent from start to finish. We had no problem getting into the villa but they were available at all hours in case we had any issues. During the hurricane they were in constant touch to make sure we were okay and gave us advice. They always replied quickly to any questions we had. The area was quiet and felt very safe, with a Sheriff living across the road! Many thanks for a great stay.

Spacious, well equipped home. It had everything you would need for a long term stay. Pool was great! If traveling with a dog the grass, fenced in area was nice. Property manager Theresa helped us with every need in the speed of light!

The house we are staying in is beautiful. There are plenty of rooms and we enjoyed the pool! We caught some fish in the backyard and the location is very good, being in the middle of everything; restaurants, mall and stores.

Very confortable house with everything you may need: good wifi connexion, towels for the pool, . The housekeeper was easy to reach and very helpfull for information about what to do while a tropical storm was annouced. We ´ve spent two great weeks in this location.

This was a great home for a mini-vacation for my family. The beds are very comfortable and the entire house is nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes. Our host, Theresa is quick to respond and very helpful. It is in a great location. Only 20 minutes to downtown Fort Myers and less than 15 minutes to Sunsplash. It was perfect for the activities we had planned on our trip. I will definitely book this house again!

Very nice villa in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is nicely laid out and well equipped. The Lanai/pool area is excellent and a super area for relaxing. The hosts were always on hand online and very helpful.

We really enjoyed our vacation. House was beautiful and perfect for our stay. Very clean and well equipped. Check in and check out was ease and the person was very nice and helpful. He informed us about things to do around. We going to come there again for sure.

The house was spotlessly clean, owner responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet, very nice.

I checked into Room 113 on the 10th of this month. I originally had an issue with the hot tub, and the front desk was able to switch me into room 103 without hesitation. The new bedding, and new beds are EXTREMELY comfortable! The hotel is going through some renovations, and things are looking amazing. I needed to extend my reservation for a few nights, and Andreea was more than accommodating! I ended up staying 4 nights in room 103. The hotel has new locks, so the key won't de-magnetize due to the magnetic strip, and the doors open much easier now. The pool was amazing as well. there was one day it was cold, but maintenance was able to fix the heater. I'm excited to see the progress of the hotel, and I'm excited to call the LaQuinta in Fort Myers my second home. God Bless you all, and I'm excited to see the future for the hotel! We stayed four nights in January in two rooms, one was a suite. The bedding was comfortable, the heat worked perfectly, the shower was a bit low pressure for people with thick hair, and the breakfast was great except for the Saturday morning biscuits instead of eggs, but waffles were still available. Bacon was better than sausage, but both great. The staff kept it stocked. The cookies at the check in desk were a nice touch. We used the indoor pool once, it was heated nicely. Housekeeping came on two occasions and left new towels. Maintenance replaced both tvs with larger models. Parking was convenient, and we walked to two restaurants. The airport is close. Would stay again, and we come in January for a baseball tournament annually. Drury Suites has been where we’ve stayed, but prices have risen.

We got a suite two doors down from a room my Mother and friend were staying in, and a cookie at check in. It was recently remodeled and two large tvs were installed in minutes on our second day there. The breakfast was great, waffles, sausage, eggs, muffins, yogurt, juices and coffee, and fruit. The pool was indoors and heated, and we enjoyed our time in the water. It had great access to the highway and airport, was quiet and warm. The suite was huge and we all gathered in our unit. The weather was chilly and wet to start, but got better every day and we enjoyed our son and son in laws adult baseball league.

We checked in around 8/9 pm after a very tiring day. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool looked amazing we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it but next time we come we will stay here and hopefully have something good to say about it too!

I've read the other reviews and fall to the side of the outstanding rather than the really bad but this is a hotel that goes through as a sleepover Hotel. there was nothing absolutely brilliant there was nothing absolutely awful. We had a really good night here good breakfast but we didn't use the pool

We chose to stay here based on the most recent reviews and the good ones were all accurate! The outside looks dated when you first pull up but the inside is a different story. The room was perfect for what we needed it for, to sleep and shower. But it was very spacious and clean. The pool area was nice and it was directly next to the Tiki Hut bar and restaurant so you could hear the music from there and even enjoy a few drinks by the pool. The staff was wonderful and check in and check out was easy, even if you had to check in outside of their office hours. The only downside is there is no elevator to the second floor so if you can’t do stairs, let them know so that you can get a room on the first floor. We would absolutely stay here again!!!

Everything was perfect, loved the pool and the Tiki hut bar. Meghan was so helpful behind reception. Only downside I have is the pool had no umbrellas for the sun beds but apart from that great value for money 👍

Although an older property, the rooms and motel grounds are clean. The pool area is fantastic with lots of seating areas throughout. The restaurant is next to the pool and you can swim right up to the bar! Front desk is super accommodating and welcoming. Close to all kinds of dining options and not far from the water.

I liked that it was right by a Tiki bar with great music and decent food options. It had a great pool and ample lounge chairs and seating in pool area which was adjacent to the Tiki bar.

We just stayed for seven nights with a party of seven of us. The location was great. Lots to do in the area. Our room was in a great location for easy access to the pool and tiki bar. The entire staff from check in to check out was amazing. Polite, helpful and courteous. The bartenders at the tiki bar, Jen, Austin and Michelle made us feel right at home like we were drinking with old friends! The live bands were all perfect. Sounded great! Any question or concern we brought to the front desk was quickly addressed. The food at the tiki bar was delicious. I could go on... really it was a great place to stay. We already want to book again for a vacation next year! We had such a great time!

the hotel that was close to the airport, which is why we chose it… I wish it had a pool, but besides that the staff was amazingly kind and friendly… also, most hotels these days have continental breakfast. Since we were traveling a light breakfast would have been very nice. The facility was very, very clean and I would stay there again

I had to visit family had my two dogs with me everything from my first experience at check in went smoothly the gentleman at the front desk was amazing made had no problems with having my dogs there I can’t even say enough about this hotel but by the time I checked in and was in my room me my dogs and my son weren’t as stressed they rock I would have given more stars but you only have 5 I say considering the position we were in and the stress and how they made me and my son and dogs feel welcome I would give it 100 who ever worked at 3 on the 22nd of this month September 2021 he was the best I didn’t get his name I would definitely come back and tell my friends and other family members about this one near ft Myers airport if all your travelodges are the same I would definitely visit he made our family’s day god bless

This was a clean hotel, very good for the cost! The bathroom sliding door didn't lock, but it was pretty clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable too. It’s a little outdated and there’s no elevator, but a really wonderful place to stay for the amount of money spent! Highly recommend!

I was staying at Travelodge and my stay was pleasant. I was visiting my husband who is working on the disaster recovery team in Fort Myers. Very good hotel to rest and spend time with my husband. We loved it because it's small and quiet...just what we were looking for.

Wonderful place. Great staff. Felt welcomed. James at the front desk is such an asset to the hotel. A true hospitality professional. Maria was exceptional too. The whole place smells so clean when you walk in. I can’t give enough praise for the efficiency of the staff and cleanliness.

Great stay at this lovely property! Loved the breakfast and always available coffee, great touch. Only let down was the unheated pool and pool location - some foliage around the gates so it doesn’t look in a car park would be great

Decided to change location from Daytona to Cape Coral.. The best smelling reception area ever! Brilliant staff (chap had the best nails, made the wife envious) , free parking, swimming pool, very large room, comfy beds, plenty of tea and coffee making stuff although there are pots of it at reception as well , excellent breakfast, spotless throughout. I'd definitely stay again as it was cheaper then the daytona beach place we were originally going to that also charged for parking.

Room was clean, large, and had many efficient and practical amenities: night light in bathroom, quiet fan and AC, MOTORIZED roller shades, toiletries in dispensers rather than fiddly packets. Good breakfast. Nice pool Location was convenient for us, and walkable to some stores and restaurants.

ALL the was very friendly especially Samantha in the breakfast area. The morning and staff gave wonderful suggestions on things to do and places to eat. The only negative was the planters at the pool needed some work and there grounds needed mowing.

Amazing amazing experience! From the desk staff that showed kindness and generosity to my daughter in law and my two grandsons, who had just got off a plane and weren’t feeling well; to the amazingly clean entryways, hallways and rooms; to the amenities like the pool and fitness center, all impeccably clean; to the EXCELLENT breakfast and breakfast service; this hotel is truly remarkable. They made the stay for my daughter-in-law and grandkids an enjoyable, peaceful and amazing experience, I would highly highly recommend staying here! My wife and I are retired and enjoy traveling to points we have not seen. Friends recently moved to Estero, so we had reason to visit that area. The staff were well trained, professional, articulate and eager to assist any way they could. The morning breakfasts were as good as any we have had at any 5 star hotels. The rooms were well equipped with large screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, radio/alarm. Well equipped gym, and double washer & dryers. Not sure about swimming pool. This is in the top 3 of all hotels we have stayed in. You won't be disappointed

Great location and staff! They made our stay a memorable one from check in to check out. Very attentive and always pleasant. Staff was warm and welcoming, beautiful lobby and pool. The room was spacious with great decor and super clean! Great breakfast selection and location was perfect for our needs. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Fort Myers/Estero area!

Hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was great. The location of the hotel is great. Shopping, banks and restaurants were nearby. No loud noise so we were all happy to have a good night sleep. Thank you to all.

Nice Hotel, Hilton standard hotel but with great and spacious rooms (we were 5), pool, gym and breakfast. Excelent location, near a mall, restaurants, i75, and 24 minutes from Bonita Springs beach. Will for surr stay again at the same hotel.

Fantastic place to stay! We arrived early but no problem to let us have the room as they had finished cleaning. Beautiful room, all the things you need in a well equipped and immaculate kitchen. Brilliant beds, air-con and a view to die for of the beach. Really quiet and very safe as the beach is for residents only. Loads of beach beds, shades, canoe’s, swimming pool with showers. Didn’t use the restaurant but would imagine it will be good. Definitely will come again! A***

We were so pleased with the cottage we rented, it was perfect in size, close to the pool and beach, nice outside sitting area and grill. The maintenance man even pull a cord around to our area for my electric vehicle. We have been to the island many times before, but this was one of the best places we have stayed at.

Room was very spacious, clean and new. Everything was well stocked for the bathroom and kitchen needs. Staff was very nice and attentive. The beach was beautiful as always. Know before booking there is no pool. There is one washer and dryer on the grounds for the guest to use without charge. Overall the stay was excellent.

There are free beach chairs and umbrellas to use and a pool with no hot tub. Breakfast for free was stopped due to covid but there are places to eat on the island. Room had hair dryer, microwave, coffee pot. Amazing very private beach on Sanibel Island.

excellent location, I recommend staying in the bottom rooms located as close to the water. easy access to the pool, beach. just feels a bit private.
