Loved the layout of the courtyard! Our room/studio was perfect and having the pool and grill right outside our door was great !

A delightful little family owned property. A spacious room with a huge shower, appliances in case you were staying for a week or more. We were only there one night, and didn’t get a chance to try the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Its quiet ,friendly and caring staff ,NO STRESS about where you can park ,or be FORCED to pay for parking slot ,like other places I've stayed .And the rooms are always clean and comfortable. There could be some improvements on the television reception. Otherwise the resorts ( RICHARDS)are VERY NICE for the prices .I'll definitely stay again and again with them and recommend to family and friends.

The place is quite nice, cozy, comfortable and very clean. A couple of things if the owner can work on, can further enhance the customer experience - add few more cutleries, glasses, cup, bottle opener, paper towel, etc. Television in operating condition, although, I was out most time of my stay, for those who prefer to stay indoors can find it handy. But, overall, great experience. Can recommend to anyone.

The property is clean, most what updated. Cheaper place right on water. Multiple pools, they offer a breakfast didn’t check that out. Overall if your looking for cheap place to stay near the ocean it’s a ok place not a high end joint by any means but safe and clean.

This place was great. Loved everything about it except the beds. Don't get me wrong they were okay but there were nothing to write home about. If they would improve that one thing this place would be phenomenal. Several of the staff were very friendly.

Have to give 5 stars. Hotel is steps away from the sandy beach and Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Downtown Hollywood is about 10 minutes, Miami 40 minutes away by car. I recommend

Arrived late but had no problem getting checked in. Old property could be maintained much better. Breakfast was not impressive although the bagels were fresh.

5 stars for location, can't get any closer to the boardwalk 5 star for the room itself, comfortable bed, ceiling fan,full size fridge, microwave, sink, and dishes to use. Food options all in walking distance so no need for uber eats and veiws of the ocean. Would stay again for sure. No pool but the ocean was our pool

Diane is a small beachfront motel right on the broadwalk across from the beach. What it lacks in amenities (spa, pool, restaurant) it makes up in its location and walking distance to just about any kind of eateries that you can think of. It also has a full size refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. The rooms are nice and clean with both front and back doors on the ground floor. It's wonderful to sit out on its deck with coffee in the morning and watch the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean.

I only wish we had more time to spend here, as the location and view were wonderful. Room was basic, but very clean. Only thing missing might be a pool, however you are literally steps from the ocean. Restaurants are plentiful and steps away, plus there's a wonderful patio with chairs and tables for guests to enjoy.

We stayed here back in June 2023. Rooms were clean. We had what we needed. Office staff was exceptionally nice & helpful. I just wished they had a pool, but that was ok. We had the ocean so no concerns. Would definately recommend this hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stsay Charla

I cannot rave enough about the Diane. Even prior to arrival, Merci contacted me via phone and discussed parking situation. It was Memorial Day weekend and very crowded. I have a son with disabilities and drive a big van. There is a dedicated spot for such vehicles, but someone had it for one more night. I was able to move to that spot the next morning. Thus, upon arrival, Manual jumped into action and helped my husband park the van for the first night. Merci went out of her way to ensure I had everything my family needed and all our wheelchair accessibility needs were met. This was the experience the entire stay. I don't think I have ever had staff at any hotel treat me with more professionalism, respect and kindness. The rooms are very large, immaculate, and you can't ask for a better view of the ocean. I will definitely be back. Only issue at all was not with hotel, but with other guests. Be aware it is one very large patio that spans all the rooms. That being said, although someone books one room, they may not respect boundaries. Our neighbors the first night did not. They and their children were all over, including on other guests patio sections in front of rooms. They left their toys on all the chairs and tables, and basically overran the place. Just be aware this hotel does not have private balconies. To hotel; 2 small suggestions. Shade on back door & ceiling fan for back room would make it perfect. VERY BRIGHT in am, and air doesn't reach well

If you want to relax, this is the place to go. This was our third visit, and we still loved it. The beach is clean, and guests get two lounge chairs and an umbrella as part of the 45 dollar resort fee. There are three pools, one of which had a hot tub that did wonders for my back. The 11th floor rooftop pool and bar was a favorite hangout spot with terrific ocean views, and no kidsThe pool was nice and cool. Very refreshing! Note: The pooling water at the Broadwalk entrance, where the showers are, is a potential hazard. While the food wasn't exceptional, the coffee shop was awesome. I had fresh Caesars salad and fruit yogurt parfait. Both were very reasonably priced and delicious. Note: Jessica, who works at the café is an exceptional employee who went out of her way to help me. I could eat at this place three times a day. We ate at the Margaritaville restaurant a couple of times, mostly out of convenience. While the prices are high for what you get, the service was great, and the ambiance was airy and cool. Landshark Bar and Grill was a favorite because of its view of the band shell and beach. Mixed drink prices are exorbantly high. Burgers and finger food served here. Overall, the service was great at every turn. You don't have to leave the resort, but you might want to check out the pizza at several places, one block over from the resort.

This was our first time staying at a Margaritaville hotel. I really appreciated all the Jimmy Buffett quotes, decorations, and vibe. I definitely felt connected to him and appreciated being there after years of loving his music and seeing him many times in concert. Our room was very nice and comfortable I appreciated the close proximity and walking distance to restaurants and shops and the three pool options and the beach access. There were a couple private events so my husband and I were not able to use the adult pool when we wanted to and one of the restaurants, It's 5 o'clock Somewhere was closed for a private event. It would have been nice to know they would've been closed in advance so we could plan accordingly. While we loved having all the Jimmy Buffett and similar music playing throughout the hotel, the DJ that played by one of the pools was so loud that we and several other guests ended up, leaving and going out to the beach. I also noticed several doors, especially in the spa that were dirty and had fingerprints or some ground in dirt on them. I was surprised that that was left unattended. The showers in the spa are very difficult to adjust to get a temperature that was palatable. While some of these may be minor, it does make an impact on the quality of the place and I feel the prices for the rooms and spa service to match the quality of experience.

very nice resort. the area doesn't seem to have much to do but the hotel has plenty of space. the pools are nice. the lower pool feels heated and when it got too crowded with kids we headed to the rooftop pool. land shark restaurant was not good at all. service was so bad and so slow. waited 20 minutes to be seated then 20 minutes for drinks. if i came to this area again i would def stay here

Family of 4, kids 10 and 12 for 3 nights. No complaints. Easy Uber from the FLL airport (15 mins). Lots of staff to help guide and make recommendations (Rocco's Pizza). Decorated in a beachy but classy vibe! Centrally located on the Hollywood Beach boardwalk, shops and restaurants a few miles in each direction. Loved our walks each morning. Easy access to the beach and plenty of places to shower off. Staff at the hotel did a great job managing guests and keeping things clean given the number of people hanging around outside the hotel. It was definitely busy as they have live music Wed-Sun from 7-10pm and everyone fills the area around the hotel. We also felt very safe, plenty of police presence and did not see any issues while we were there. The place is a bit pricey but well worth it to be able to relax and enjoy. Multiple pools, kids club, 21 and up pool with a great view, etc. We will go back at some point!

We are a family traveling. I’d say we will not return with kids. It’s family friendly in the sense that there are other kids there but the resort overall is really not designed for families. My husband -who is athletic and 42 years of age - fell in the shallow end of the pool because the bottom of the pool was extremely slippery. He did get hurt. The crowd is definitely more geared to drinking / vaping / tobacco use and that’s just not our thing. The service was impeccable with the exception of a few employees - one at the activities desk and one the coffee shop. We paid $667 a night and the room had partial ocean view, 2 queen beds. No fridge etc. Bare bones. They seem to nickel and dime you for what often comes standard elsewhere. Overall nice resort for adults or folks who are completely fine spending $500 per day on food and bev.

Hotel staff very friendly helpful and welcoming! Loved the complimentary smoothie at the pool. Access to The beach and boardwalk right there were both great amenities

The Marriott has a nice place on the water, far enough from the boardwalk to be quiet and more family friendly. The pool is a little small and chairs get gone early, but if you like the beach, which we do, they give you two beach chairs per room. We loved the breakfast buffet every morning, the grill by the pool, and the snacks they provide in the afternoon. They also offer bikes, and there is a great place that is paved between the pool and beach for walking. If you are traveling to this area it is a nice place to stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Truly the best hotel. While at the pool you have a wonderful view of the boardwalk and beach. Walkable to all spots on the boardwalk. The afternoon champagne and snacks are a nice touch, plus the free smoothies at the pool are so refreshing.

Perfect location on the beach and attentive staff. The unlimited smoothies at the pool were delicious and refreshing. Staff at the pool and the hotel were very friendly. Looking forward to another mini vacation at this hotel.

Stayed at this resort this week and a wonderful surprise. The location was amazing and the staff were friendly. Parking was easy with self parking or valet options. The pool area is nice with towels and free slushies! Pool is facing the ocean and the resort fee comes with access to beach chairs and towels on the beach which is right in front of the resort. You can also borrow some bikes and ride down the broadwalk where you can find so many amazing places. Shops, ice cream treats and great food! We went to a little Italian place called Florio’s which had an amazing vibe. The hotel and rooms are a little dated and could use some renovations but the location, amenities and staff make up for it.

Great little boutique hotel. Steps from broadwalk with lots of dining choices in the area. 2 seafood and great Greek restaurant across the road and Mexican right at the end of the street on broadwalk. Staff was super friendly and since we arrived early they checked us in as quick as room became available. Nice little pool onsite and the have a pile of chairs that are available to take to the beach.

My twin and I stayed in the suite and loved it. Right by the pool, friendly staff, helpful and convinent stops , shops and restaurants everywhere. A must stay place

The rooftop bar and pool made the vacation! Everything we needed for a relaxing get away was all in one place. Free towels, great food and drinks, great service and a good time. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, the service at the rooftop restaurant was wonderful and the pool was clean and beautiful. Plenty of seating by the pool and the provided beach chairs were in the perfect location. The bikes offered by the hotel (not included but not expensive) we’re a convenient way to view the whole boardwalk while getting some exercise

The rooftop pool is amazing! The pool is warm, but refreshing. The atmosphere was fun. The restaurant food was good. Service was quick. Owners were quick to respond. There was lots of live music in the area. We had a wonderful time and would go back.

Room was 10/10. Large one bedroom, nicely furnished, fully equipped (full size fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, coffee maker). Decent sitting areas, nice balcony. Rooftop pool area was outstanding, very large deck, nice pool/hottub, bar area. Easy access to boardwalk and restaurants, bars, etc. Quiet. Comfortable beds.

Excellent location! No need for a car rental as we took a short Uber ride from the airport to resort. We had groceries delivered for those days we wanted to eat in. Few steps to the beach and Hollywood’s broadwalk where there are multiple restaurants and shops. Rooftop pool and bar was excellent with amazing views! Staff were so friendly!

Deserve Every Star and High Rating I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and 6 days, and it was flawless. The entire hotel is non-smoking, including the pool area, which is fantastic. The rooms are impeccably clean, making you feel like you’re in a 5-star hotel. Throughout my stay, there wasn’t a single mistake. The environment was very quiet, giving the impression of being alone in the hotel, despite the full parking lot. Whether you’re visiting for business, pleasure, or a mix of both, and if you want to enjoy the beach while exploring the city, I highly recommend this place.

The staff was very accommodating and nice. The property was well kept. The room's ac was making loud noises and they had the maintenance man try and fix it without us even asking and when they determined they could not fix it right away they transferred us to a different room. We originally only booked a few nights but ended up extending our stay 3 more nights due to their hospitality, quality of room, and the pool. We would defiantly stay again.

One of our favorite go to places when we are in the area. Walking distance to Publix and downtown Hollywood. Ther strip will multiple restaurants and places to grab an adult beverage. Just a short drive to the best beach in Florida . Staff is always friendly and courteous. The pool is is great area to relax and forgot life for awhile . It's a great place for those of us on a budget.

Excellent location Pool is not heated freezing and sun only by the pool in late afternoon, building blocks it. No phones in room or by upstairs pool. Nobody to contact? Alarms going off saying emergency don’t use elevator, use stairs and they were locked? Front desk didn’t know anything about 12th floor pool alarms?

At first, I was very skeptical about staying here. The reviews were somewhat mixed, and the prices were rock-bottom for hotels in the area. When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised: we had arrived at a modern-looking hotel with friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms with high ceilings and plenty of natural light, and in a prime location in the heart of Hollywood. While there were various signs of cost cutting, such as minimal furniture, mostly automated systems, and extra costs for things like late checkout and cleaning service, it didn't matter to me. The amenities provided were on par with any chain hotel for budget inn prices, and we were happy. Only complaint: the pool. The pool was nice, with plenty of seating and nice views. But the "no smoking" rule was clearly not enforced. People were sitting there puffing on everything from vapes to cigars to weed, in clear view of the "no smoking" signs posted throughout the pool area. Really gross, and especially nasty for children. I was not too impressed with that.

I was there for 4days and I loved the whole place, excellent location, hollywood is very beautiful Beautiful modern, quiet, spacious, upscale ish restaurant on first floor and one by the pool. We had an amazing trip. We definitely want to stay here again. We had everything we needed for our four day stay. We made it work because I like to clean and organize anyway so I kept our room together. The gym and pool are on top floors with stunning views over the city. Everything was clean. The service of all the staff was excellent, especially that of Houseman Alex and Beautiful. 😍

Hotel was fabulous and staff were attentive and responsive. The pool is under renovation but we got a pass to the residence pool which was phenomenal! No complaints.

Our stay was very enjoyable. Great location and very nice/clean room. The only thing that we didn't like/enjoy was the temperature of the roof top pool. It was VERY COLD and is not heated. We couldn't even go in. Nice view and a great spot to relax, but the pool was unusable.

This was a very pleasurable stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was also very clean and comfortable. I have one complaint and I hope the owner reads this. We went with five couples, and we all made reservations at the same time and paid the same amount. When we got there, I was assigned a room that was probably half the size of two of the other couples rooms. I have never been in a hotel room this small. There was literally no place to put any toiletries. There was no place to put the suitcases to empty them or when they were empty to store them. The closet was a joke. The bathroom was so small that when you sat on the toilet, your knees touched the wall in front of you. I cannot believe that They would rent this room out for the same price of the other rooms. I was going to complain to the manager, but I decided to suck it up because two of the other couples I went with had the same small rooms. I will go back to this hotel, but I will not ever stay in one of the tiny rooms again. Please make sure when you go there to look at your room before you take the key. Other than that, the stay was great.

If you're looking for a hotel on Hollywood Beach, you need to figure out what your price point is going to be. Are you going to be shelling out $600+ a night? Or do you want something under $250? For the price, you're not going to find better accomodations. Clearly this hotel was built in the 50-60's. It has had several layers of renovations. But it was clean, well appointed, and had the best location. Beds were firm but comfortable. Lots of clean towels. Microwave and mini fridge in room with a 65" Samsung TV. Black out curtains, decent closet, and nice bathroom (small but appropriate, like a European bathroom). Our friends stayed at hollywood Beach suites down the road. That place was a dump. Also, there was fresh coffee every morning in the lobby. We had a coffee maker in our room too. The best part was that every room had two tommy Bahama Beach chairs and an umbrella (like what they sell at Costco), so you didn't have to rent from someone off the beach. Parking was ~$21 a night. AC worked great.

The location was great. It was right on the boardwalk, and I had an Oceanview room. The bed was so comfortable that I slept really well. This hotel deserves more than a 2 star rating. I would definitely give it a 4 star rating. All of the staff is friendly and very helpful. I was able to check in early and was willing to pay an extra fee, but I didn't get charged. They are doing renovations at the hotel and my room was so nice already. It was very quiet and peaceful stay not too noisy. You could hear the people on the boardwalk, but it wasn't too loud. I'm definitely going to stay here again. I did see previous reviews stating that there were bed bugs and roaches at the hotel, I believe those reviews were all lies. I saw no roaches, bugs of kind, and no bed bugs. They keep the hotel really clean, and housekeeping comes every morning to clean the rooms.

Steps away from the boardwalk and beach but towards the quieter end which we loved. Great size room and very clean. However, no handle on the room door, have to pull it closed using the deadbolt, kitchen lightbulb not working, shower floor pitched incorrectly where water pools when showering and no outlet or sink space in the bathroom, no shelf or bench in shower to place items.

They get a five for welcoming us when we had nowhere to go. We had booked a hotel with hotels.com a few blocks from Dolphin. When we arrived at that hotel is was closed for renovation and had been for months prior to our booking. The owner was onsite and recommended Dolphin, as he said the people there were very nice. The owner of the closed hotel let us leave our bags (8 - we were going on a cruise) in his office along with my father and sister and we walked down to the Dolphin. The wonderful lady in the office juggled things around and got us worked in and at a discount. The owner of the closed hotel, Jefferson, actually drove our bags down the to Dolphin. My husband and I were with my elderly father and my sister. No, this isn't the fanciest place to stay and it's seen better days, but the effort to maintain it is there and it was impeccably clean. It was lovely to sit outside on our covered patio at a table and drink a glass of wine while enjoying the view of the Broadwalk and beach after a harrowing day of travel. Thanks to the nice lady at the desk and housekeeping for taking care of our requests and for being so welcoming. This could have gone so bad and they saved the start of our vacation.

I stay here quite a bit and I'm never disappointed! Clean cute, and you couldn't ask for a better location on the beach. The place is small so you're treated like a person and not just a room number. Love staying here where they remember you and that always makes people feel good. Customer service is always outstanding. If there's any negative comments it has to be the guest because this location is a 10/10. No it's not a fancy hotel with elevators, valet and resort fees. Parking is $10 a day verse $25/35 or more a day at a large hotel then the obligation of having to tip every time you need your vehicle. There's a $75 deposit and you're refunded after your check out. This was my first time booking this location through Booking.com as I always book directly through Dolphin Inn and after this trip I will continue to book directly through dolphin to avoid extra fees, my husband wanted to try Booking.com. It was smooth, however, again it was the fees.

Looks just like the pictures! Obviously an older property but well-maintained and loved. My husband is very particular about hotels but he thought this one was fantastic also. Parking was a bit limited, but we were lucky enough to arrive as someone was leaving so we got that spot. Maybe there's another lot somewhere that we didn't know about? But a very easy walk to the beach, shower was hot, beds were comfortable. The hotel got in touch via email and text a couple days out to make arrival plans, and we were arriving after office hours and returned the key to a box so we never actually saw any employees but had a number to call if we had a problem. We had no problems.

This was our first time in Southern Florida. We weren’t sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. The Dolphin is GREAT! The location is perfect. I didn’t realize we’d be as close to the beach as we were. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Parking was not an issue. We had our parking pass so we were able to park in the designated area every night without issue. I felt safe the whole time we were there. The room was cozy. The bed was comfortable. The shower took a minute to warm up but I can’t complain. Everything was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights and will be back! This is our new go-to place when we are in the area.

Excellent location. Walking distance to the Boardwalk and the beach, restaurants and main roads. Front desk staff was kind and accommodating. Tiki bar with live music was great. Pool on premises a plus. Parking on premises major plus. Hotel provided us with pool/beach towels. Kitchenette includes basic essentials (glasses, cups, silverware, dish soap and paper towels).

We loved this place. Perhaps an undiscovered gem. We were on holiday, staying in Orlando and fancied a couple of days at the beach. We had stopped over in Hollywood beach a few years back on our way back from Miami so thought we'd try it again. I saw the Carribean Resort online and couldn't understand why it was so cheap so we drove down to look. I'm so glad we did. A great little place, friendly staff, specially at the Tiki bar (Thanks Guys) ...We had a small, well equipped and very comfortable room , overlooking the pool.(208) and we loved it. One line back from the beach but so close you'd almost call it front line. A beautiful beach, wonderful broadwalk along the front, dotted with shops, bars and restaurants. Loads to do and see ... Miami without the hassle... Still don't understand why it was so cheap ... We will be back ... Thank you Carribean Redort ... xx

I absolutely loved that we could walk directly on the Broadwalk and the beach. Riptide is the happening place too with the Tiki Bar and live music. Staff (Alli) was super friendly and helpful. I do wish they had a pool but the beach is beautiful!! There room was spacious and clean!

Our view from our ocean front room was fabulous. The room was adequate and offered a full size refrigerator, a 2-burner cooktop and a small microwave. The hotel charges a $15 per day parking fee which is a deal for the location. It also charges a $15 per day amenities fee which we felt a little high since there is no pool and the only other thing we considered an amenity was the Wi-fi. They do have a tiki bar that sells beer, wine and some food that hosts a singer from noon to around 8. All-in-all the hotel is a good value for the money. My only “selfish” suggestion would be to provide morning coffee for guests to purchase or include a cup in the amenities charge.

We come to Hollywood often. This was first time booking/staying at Riptide. Communication was excellent. My VIP status got us an upgraded room with an ocean view and a bottle of wine! Air conditioned room was large with a kitchenette. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is a bit dated but was clean. Ali at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. We got there at noon; our room was not ready. She held our luggage for us so we could walk the area and get some lunch. Our room was ready 1.5 hours later and earlier than check- in time. The hotel is right on the beach/broadwalk and convenient to everything. The tiki bar (their signature bar) located on premises was crowded and is obviously a hot spot in the area with live entertainment. Some reviews mentioned hotel bar was noisy; that was not our experience. Although we vaguely heard some music, etc, we had no trouble sleeping. There is coffee in the small lobby until noon. Ali gave us each a beach chair to use for the day. Overall, it was a nice stay and we would definitely stay here again. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!

Our second story room was directly above the very busy promenade with a great view of the beach and ocean. No elevator, but the checkin gal arranged to have our bags brought to the very spacious room. Looks like the place has had an upgrade and was very clean and comfortable. We did not use the range in the kitchen and took advantage of the full sized refrigerator. The bed was super comfy. The Tiki bar was a riot, an absolutely unforgettable marvellous visit. Great karaoke by the local senior denizens of the area. I loved it. The office was closed at checkout. This place and the surrounding area is a wonderful place to stay and visit. Super close to many bars and restaurants just a stroll down the promenade or through the back neighbourhood meandering through old 2 story funky motels and apartments. The Italian joint Florios already added 18% tip, so I accidentally double tipped the shady waiter

We loved staying at Riptide. We had a little hiccup our first night when we reached but they were not only able to give us a refund for the room but also moved us to the room that we booked. I do encourage everyone to please make sure you arrange a check in and have a room number available if you are planning on arriving after 6p as the office is closed and its difficult to get a hold of someone. There is only security there and they dont know room assignment. It is at a fabulous location. On the beach and with boardwalk and plenty to do. We loved it and will be staying again if we are in Fort Lauderdale again.

The location was beautiful right on the beach. It was the only place within a 200 mile radius that had no cost for parking. It also offered laundry at no cost. When you are a traveling professional that travels full time it was a huge time and money, saving on top of that the property itself nightly rate was already lower than most in the area. I would recommend this property to anyone. The staff is also very responsive. I had a question and I never waited more than 10 seconds to be responded to and it didn’t matter what time.

This is the second time staying at South winds and we are never disappointed. The facility is always well equipped, clean and the location is perfect! Eleyns and Nicholas are very gracious hosts and are quick to respond if there are any problems. We were once locked out of our room. I texted Eleyns and explained we needed to get in as we had my daughter's graduation to attend. She was there within 20 minutes and remedied the problem. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.

We had some trouble with a canceled flight. They gave us the option to stay longer in the room to solve all the Reservations for the new hotel etc. also they informed very well about the process for checkin, parking etc. Please book this Hotel instead of the HBH - they do not offer rooms as expected and charge many fees for Parking etc. We are going to stay in the Southwinds Inn again, when we are in Fort Lauderdale!

What a gem! The suite had everything we needed, was steps from the beach, and was spotless. We arrived early and messaged the property, hoping to leave our bags on site. They were incredibly responsive and helpful and ultimately allowed us to check in early. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. Little touches like beach chairs, towels, and umbrella made this place amazing. We will definitely be back!

The hotel was very accomodating with our demands of close rooms and on the ground floor since my mom cant go up stairs. The room had everything you could use at the beach, like chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas. The location was great, right on the quiet part of the boardwalk. Very close to many great restaurants and stores. I will definitely return with the family every year!

I was skeptical when we first pulled up but it turned out to be a lovely stay. We arrived earlier than expected and the staff worked fast to turnover the room so we could check in early. The beds are very comfortable and the room is nice and clean. We were allowed one parking spot which was great for us. You can’t beat the location! The balcony area is undergoing construction from hurricane damage but you can easily look past that. You are right on the boardwalk/beach. Everything you may need is walking distance. We only stayed a couple of nights before our cruise but I could easily stay here for a week or longer. We would definitely stay here again! Honestly, I about cried when we pulled up and saw the outside of the place, out back. We had to call a number on the phone and were talked through how to retrieve our key from a lockbox and had a little trouble finding the stairs around the corner, but the VIEW from the terrace was fantastic! The room was extremely outdated, but may be the cleanest room in which we’ve ever stayed. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable and there was so much to do and see in the area. There is construction going on, but they didn’t start until a reasonable time. I went from crying to planning our next visit at this property.

The hotel is located in the heart of Hollywood Beach, facing the sea. There are restaurants on both sides, all within walking distance. The location is excellent. I didn't drive a single day during my stay. I was so happy. The Wi-Fi was beneficial. During my stay, I worked as usual without any delay. The staff was very responsible and always kept the place clean. I was delighted. Free parking was very convenient. Although the hotel was under construction, it didn't interfere with our stay. Everything was so good.

Everything was extremely clean, staff very friendly and accommodating, the view and proximity to the ocean was amazing My husband misplaced his watch and we went back to check but were not able to locate, the staff look a second time too with no luck after a month I received a call from them that a guest located the watch and that they will ship it to me. This is unheard of and I am grateful for the staff that reached out to me. We will definitely stay again at this location

Little whole in the wall that we enjoyed and will definitely be back to. There is construction going on that impairs the terrace view when seated or laying in bed. Standing on the terrace the views are absolutely gorgeous. This little place was clean and had a little kitchenette. Air conditioning worked amazing. Staff were incredibly kind. Beneath the room are restaurants and shops. We couldn't hear any of the noise upstairs in our room. Everything is convenient and a couple steps out on to the gorgeous beach.

Read this review if you don't know where to stay in Hollywood for a beach stay. This is an absolute wonderful place to stay in Hollywood beach. Directly on the ocean. Nice quality beach chairs for use right at the property and plenty of them. The key thing we learned about this place is that it is walkable to the Broadwalk area for tons of food, shopping and live music we found on the weekend. The parking was next to the building. We rented a car but did not need to. It's about a 10 minute walk to the first area for food and shopping and about 30 minutes for the heart of the area.Definitely did not mind the walk because this place is in the quieter part of the beach and the heart of the beach a little ways away is busy and crowded beach..more of the public area that's good for people watching but not for staying. Very quiet beach at this hotel. Maybe a dozen couples out in front of the hotel so not crowded at all. Early April, 80 degrees and clear all weekend. The outside common area of the property is fantastic. You can tell they spent a ton of money on the exterior due to the quality of the tile work and railings around the courtyard. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. We will be coming back here again for sure. If you want a great place to stay with a great beach and close to amenities, stay here. Downfalls- the TV's are a little older but had great cable service with tons to watch at night. The smart TV in the bdrm couldn't cast to maybe bad batteries?

Our room managed an old Florida feel with updated niceties. The property was very clean and the manager did an excellent job of answering our questions and navigating a late check in. The air handler kicking on be loud during our mild nights, but we travel with ear plugs, so no issue here. Dig your toes in the beautiful sand - highly recommended!

The stay was great, the location was awesome, and the rooms were comfortable and cute. I liked the decor in our room and the AC worked so well we almost needed a sweater in the room that was set at 74. Our family stayed the weekend, some from AZ, NC and us from WPB. We had a great time.

I spent there couple days to take rest during my Florida trip. It was great choice. Hotel is situated right on the beach, neighbourhood is safe, clean and quiet. Price is reasonable, good value for money. Unfortunately I haven't met the owner personally but he was easily reached out through mobile when needed. I fully reccomend.

i didn't know there was a complementary breakfast but could have been great as i have to leave early morning and grab something to eat in my way. The staff was great, front desk person was polite and call a taxi to take me back to the airport.

Ocean Drive Villas is a no frills, yet cute and comfortable place to stay. There is no pool, but it's steps away from the ocean and it has cute little patio areas throughout the property. The rooms are clean, well kept and a good size.

I had the pleasure of staying at Ocean Drive Villas for a one night layover in Ft Lauderdale and was so pleased - since I was arriving after the front desk closed they emailed AND texted me full directions for accessing my room including wifi code - very considerate. Since it was New Year's eve they also left me a cold bottle of prosecco and chilled wine glasses - wow! that's 5 star service. Also note that the room is spacious, the pillows fresh and clean (a pet peeve of mine), kitchenette and bathroom equipped with all needs (hairdryer, coffee maker, iron and board, etc) even refreshing face towelettes which were very appreciated after a day of travel. There are several charming outdoor seating areas where I could enjoy my glass of prosecco under the stars by a tinkling fountain. I felt like Inwould be happy staying there for a week or more. And I didn't even get to check out the beach less than 1 block away. Very good value!

I was very impressed with this hotel, the staff was wonderful, they keep the rooms very clean and cheery. The proprty and rooms have had some updates but some areas could use a little touch up paint, but could be difficult if always rented out. I can't say enough about Phillip and the other woman in office im sorry I forget her name, they were so accommodating. This place has parking on site for a fee, but is across from a parking ramp that might cost less? I can't wait to go back, 175ft walk to beach. Close to shopping, bars, restaurants and another hotel that offers laundry.

I absolutely loved the location. The beds were so big and comfortable. And the manager he was so nice and great. I plan and got delayed so we checked in very late and even though the office was closed the manager still left My door code and the keys for me. He even let us check out late which was great because you were checking into our Airbnb the next day and we had a late check in time for that so it was great that me and my family didn't have to find something to do until check-in time so I definitely appreciate it.

I found this place on living social. It was a great deal. The bed was so comfortable. The location is great, near all the shops and restaurants. The bandstand is just a few steps away. There is usually music at the bandstand from 7-9. The room is quaint. It has a small kitchenette with pots and pans to use. Very clean. Parking was $20 for two nights. Not far from the hard rock casino. Customer service was great as well. I will stay here again.

Stayed here 3 times this last week! First we stayed 2 nights then went to Islamorada. B4 we left we booked 1 night again b4 the airport. Flight got canceled and came back until we could get another flight...2 more nights! Stay on the suite side. Rooms are small on the other side. You get a private pool! The tiki bar is great and spirrow is the best! Some nights a singer/kareoke!

We stayed for 5 nights with 4 people. 2 queen in main area and roomy bedroom with 1 king. 1 and 1/2 bathrooms!! Let's get the cons over first. The floor wasn't very clean and we didn't have a dust pan and the broom didn't work great. Bathrooms were a little on the small side. The outdoor area needs some new pool chairs, and a good power washing. Some times you heard loud cars peeling out or racing in the parking lot across the street. I am being honest and It didn't really bother me on the noise level, I was concerned they would crash into my rental car. Now time for the PROS! Great location. Loved the pool!! Asked for first floor and got it!!! Super nice staff!! Area felt very safe. Liked the outside shower and bathroom by the pool. They had an area next to the washer and dryer with a lot of sand toys, random beach chairs and umbrellas you can grab for the beach!! I would recommend staying here. It isn't high end but it was a great value and I liked it!!!!

Check in person very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, nice mattress, pillows a little uncomfortable, bathroom door didn’t fit properly and would not close all the way, efficiency kitchen very nice, and clean. Nice pool and pool area. Gait that protects the property very helpful but very loud closing right outside our door. Area is convenient to boardwalk & beach. A nice place to stay!

Grounds are unkept and need a lot of work. Hardly any chairs around the pool and the pool area is full of leaves and unkept

This is a great little beach hotel. Clean and located just a few steps from the ocean. Our room had a full little kitchen which we did not use for a short stay but would be nice for a longer stay. The pool was clean and we loved the upper deck where we sat in the afternoon enjoying a cocktail and the sun. The location is perfect. The staff was very friendly. We got off a cruise ship early in the morning and arrived way to early for the check in time. We stopped at the office just to see if we could park our car and go to the Boardwalk to wait. We were surprised that our room was ready (of course this is a slower season) but the girl at the front desk was very friendly and we were able to check in and go to our room to unpack. If you are looking for a clean place to stay right at the beach, this hotel is for you.

Property is close to beach free margarita at taco place , was nice and cool inside, bathroom is modern, body wash lotion container and shampoo provided, good brand beds were decent , open closet , no kitchen but all kitchen supplies, extra pull out in small living room area, our room had a semi private patio, would stay again no pool no hot tub , parking is $35 a night on the property by 3rd party pay by plate very limited parking spots

I live here in South Florida. I work down the street on the beach. I wanted a little staycation for my birthday so I wasn’t driving or taking uber to every destination. This was the perfect spot for the weekend. It was right next to the beach in a good location. Parking was a bit expensive but luckily I have park at the place I work. The person I was with had to park overnight sometime and it was a pretty penny. Other than that, everything was amazing. The staff was super nice and helpful, anything I needed morning or night. They were always willing to help with really good advice. The hotel cat was probably the highlight of the trip. He has his own Instagram, definitely followed him after finding out. The room was small but perfect for 1-2 people. I loved that I stayed in one of the rooms upstairs in the lobby. It made me feel more relaxed. Also they give you a free complimentary margaritas at the restaurant It’s next to from 5pm to 6pm. I definitely will be back to stay again!

Honestly I was so worried based on the rating... but in reality the room I got for the price is AMAZING... THE BED IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE, TV is direct TV, bonus of stay 1 min walk to beach and boardwalk, not even. You get happy hour comp margaritas and 20% at the taco shack .. EVERYBODY IS SUPER NICE and I'd come stay back here in a heartbeat ... so clean so relaxing. I got the 2 peas in a pod room, keep in mind you will not get a view for the price but really I'm a solo traveller this is well worth your money if you are here for the beach and something to have a quick stay ..♡♡ thank you , also bonus my room came with a bathroom with stand up shower a mini kitchen with microwave and sync with cupboard and mini dining table with hanging shelf for clothing... everything in a small room also FREE WIFI. ♡♡ The only con they don't hold bags which is understanding for the price you pay. Also they provide beach chairs and more to guest to borrow 😀

I loved my stay at the Hollywood Beach Suites! The staff was absolutely incredible — kind, attentive, and always willing to help. My friend and I had to adjust our plans and extend our stay a few times, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. Their helpfulness truly exceeded all expectations. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we could possibly need — a blow dryer, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, coffee maker, and even a toaster! The bed was cozy, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly (I spent a few hours working online with no issues), and the space felt fresh and inviting. Having a washer and dryer on-site was also a huge plus. The location couldn’t be better — just steps away from the beach, boardwalk, and great restaurants. Overall, a wonderful stay — and most importantly, heartfelt thanks to the amazing team of property managers and housekeepers. You’re all doing an excellent job!

My friend and I stayed here for a week in March of 2025! We got an early flight into Florida and they were able to make accommodations for us. The staff is so extremely friendly and helpful. They are always in communication with their guests ensuring their safety and satisfaction. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is just steps from the beach making it easy and convenient to make your vacation what you dreamed of! There are various different rooms fitting the needs of everyone. It is a great location with various attractions including Margaritaville, water taxis, bike rentals, restaurants, ice cream and much more. They also can provide you with beach towels and chairs! I would 100% recommend this hotel time and time again and would definitely stay here again. It was the perfect location for a week long get away. I throughly enjoyed my stay.

As I pulled up to the Shell Motel with a AAA rating after a 4 hour drive, I was elated to see I had made a good choice. It was located close to the airport, golf, casinos, horse and dog tracts and walking distant to restaurants and nearby shopping. One of the managers Pierre, took my luggage and me to point out the heated pool and room amenities. I have stayed in major hotels that were not as spotless as these accommodations. I can see why they have received so many 5 star reviews. This will be my choice on my next trip to Hollywood, Fl.
