9.0"Great staff and pool!"
Loved our stay at Hyatt Regency. Rooms were very clean, food was really good. Staff was excellent. If you are looking to be on the beach a lot, I'd stay further down by the Westin as there isn't much of a beach in front of the Hyatt. Our family are pool people so it worked for us and it wasn't as crowded as it is further down the beach towards Whaler Village. The Luau was ok, we paid for VIP seats (which is supposed to be first 2 rows) and we were in the 3 rd row and still had to wait in the main line to check in. The food was buffet style and wasn't very good.

We loved our experience at the Hyatt Regency Kannapali. The rooms are large with a lot of space, beautiful views and just a great set-up. All of the various pools were a big hit with our kids and plenty of places with a combination of shade and sun were a big hit with me. We loved being able to walk along the beaches of Kannapali and see the wildlife, including sea turtles, fish, birds, and a crab.
