7.4"Don't go"
It was clean and the staff very helpful/friendly. Food cold, tasteless and repetitive, entertainment as paid for and expected didn't happen. I wouldn't go again
"Terrible smell and small rooms"
I stayed at Moon Dreams Coral Beach hotel for 2 weeks in August 2025, and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. To start, the whole resort had a foul smell that was inescapable. It smelt like sewage all around the pool, and came in random wafts throughout the day and night - it was unbearable. To add to this, there was a crazy amount of wasps. The pool was also extremely deep - 2 meters in most places, and so neither children or adults could stand up in the main area of the pool, meaning the children’s area was crowded. This problem was made worse by the fact pool floaties were banned. Additionally, there was an awkward ledge on the pool meaning jumping in the pool was both difficult and dangerous. The palm trees around the pool also meant that no sunbed had sun all day, and you often had to move sunbeds. The shade over the pool and sunbeds also meant the pool was freezing cold. The sunbeds were extremely uncomfortable, especially for my mum who had fallen in the shower at the start of the trip. The sunbeds also didn’t go fully down which was very annoying. There was a snack bar close to the pool, however the chef was often not there, and when he was, the queue was very long, meaning you could be waiting up to 15 mins for your food. The chips were often undercooked both at the snack bar and in the buffet. The food in the buffet was shocking. The food never changed, and there was little choice. The food that was there had little flavour. The was such a lack of choice for food that my family ate out for tea 9 /14 of the nights we stayed, despite coming all inclusive. The breakfast was terrible! The pancakes took forever to cook, and when they were served they were almost raw, and looks anemic. There was no apple juice at breakfast, and most food was gone instantly, leaving you with just fruit which was ALWAYS hard and bitter. The bar also looses its all inclusive at 11PM, meaning you have to pay. The drinks at the pool bar and all the other bars tasted cheap, like medicine. Although it was nice that they had icelollys during the day and chocolate milk at night, the alcohol served was disgusting. We ended up buying our drinks from the local spar as the drinks we were served made us feel sick. There is terrible service across the hotel aswell. Our rooms were another level of disappointment. To start, we checked in as a family of 6 with two rooms. One room was significantly larger, yet still only just fit three of us. The other room was tiny, the beds were squished together like charlie and the chocolate factory, and in order to fit us all in they had taken some of our furniture out. As all three of us were squished together, our room got very hot very fast, and the air conditioning irritated our chest - yes this is no fault of the hotel. However, after complaining to reception about our small room, they upgraded us to a bigger room, which they promised would be bigger, however it was not! We knew this as we counted the tiles. The room was the exact same size. It took another night for this problem to be fixed, that shouldn’t had ever been a problem since we booked a room for three people to begin with. Our bathroom tap was also really dirty, the underneath was GRIM. And from the vent in our bathroom we could clearly hear the exact conversations of our neighbours. Despite this, the cleaners and bar staff were delightful. On our holiday, we were given dirty cups multiple times, and once even given a dirty towel. The surrounding area of the hotel is lovely, there are nice beaches and restaurants, and a good spar, however this hotel was a disappointment.
