8.5"Comfortable hotel perfect for families"
My son and I stayed at the Magellan for 4 nights and we absolutely loved it! Our room was a basic garden view room but it was very comfortable, clean and a good size. The 3 different pools were awesome and we ate a few meals at the hotel restaurants which were delicious and good value. The location right on the water overlooking the amazing KK sunset was perfect. All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 6 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 7 years old to 12 years old stay for MYR 180 per person per night when using an existing bed. People 13 years old and over stay for MYR 180 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. To all non-Malaysian residents that booking Family Escapade at The Magellan (Residence of Malaysia Only) rate will be subject to a penalty surcharge of RM 250.00 nett per room per night (stay period: now till 30 September 2024) and RM 255.00 nett per room per night (stay period: 1 October 2024 till 31 March 2025). Upon check-in, guests will be required to present their Malaysia Resident ID/PR to confirm their rate entitlement. Stay 3 Nights or More and Enjoy 2 Complimentary Rounds of Bowling Kid's Tent chargeable at RM80 nett per unit per night (subject to availability upon request).
