[Luxury] Trullo da sogno immerso nella natura

Most important, for sure, is the location, as the place is somewhat away from the coast and all the hubbub there (which was, in our case, probably not so bad because we were there in the off-season), but still perfectly close to many sights, beaches, the wonderful city of Monopoli. Second I would mention Claudia and Vincenzo, who were just the most helpful and welcoming hosts. They really made it easy to feel instantly somewhat at home! Finally, Puglia is just very beautiful, and the off-season is simply perfect. Less crowded, still very warm and sunny, everything is more relaxed: highly recommended! And the area, Gorgofreddo, was for the most part very quiet and easy-going. Just a very good place to come back to after, for instance, you spent a day on the beach.

There isn't really a negative thing about the place. Everything is really fine and beautiful there, especially if you, like we did, spend most of your days somewhere outside. There are two things that come to mind that I could mention here, even though for me, they are not in themselves negative, only something to know if you're planning to stay there. One, one room only has a partial wall: it is a construction that is inset to the room, and the wall does not go up until the ceiling. Consequently, the room is very poorly soundproofed, in fact, it isn't. Second, the matress in this one room seemed to be of rather poor quality, or maybe just not made for sleepers like me. I managed to sleep quite okay there - lots of sea breeze, air, sun and water probably helped! - but if you are a person sensitive to that, that might be something to consider. But other than that, it's a great place!
