Point of View Cassiopeia

We had a very unpleasant experience at this accommodation and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking peace and relaxation. Upon arrival, the apartment was dirty – we found cat hair and stains on the sunbeds, hair and pieces of fingernails on the floor, and a dusty, sandy sofa. The floor was also visibly unclean.The host did attempt to clean the apartment the following day, which improved things slightly, but the main issue was the construction site right next to the property. From Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM, there was extremely loud construction noise that made it impossible to relax, sleep, or enjoy the terrace. I believe the host should warn the guests about this before arriving!!! On the third day, we raised again this concern and asked for a solution, but the host instead of helping us, he asked for our personal information via WhatsApp (which should have been collected on the day of arrival by him, but he forgot it…) then within one minute, he called the police on us (he was not waiting for my answer at all!!) The police came to check our documents, and we lost half a day of our holiday due to this totally unnecessary and stressful situation. This made us feel unsafe and unwelcome. One morning, we even saw goats drinking directly from the pool, which is completely unacceptable from both a hygiene and animal health perspective. Overall, the host was unfriendly, inexperienced, and handled the situation very poorly. I did not feel safe leaving my belongings at the accommodation and had to take my valuables with me to the beach every day. If you're looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Lefkada, I highly recommend choosing a different place.
