There is a 1.9% charge when you pay with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card and a 3% charge when you pay with a Diners Club credit card. There is no airport on Hayman Island. Guests arrive via Hamilton Island and then connect with a boat transfer service, to and from Hayman Island. The journey takes around 60 minutes. The transfer rate is AUD $265 return per adult, and AUD $135 return per child (ages 5–11). Guests travelling via Hamilton Island are subject to a passenger fee of AUD$ 30.60 per adult and AUD$ 15.38 per child (up to 12 years old). This fee is set by Hamilton Island and is payable in addition to your accommodation. Please note, it is a mandatory requirement that InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef receives flight and travel details 14 days prior to arrival. Without this information, transfers will be subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
