We enjoyed our stay very much. The highlight was that the cabin was surrounded by nature and we felt like we were secluded in the jungle. We heard the howler monkeys at night and were delighted by many Coati foraging in the forest right in front of our cabin. There were even probably 20 baby ones! The Agoutis were also a delight. Breakfast at the Ficus hotel was excellent. The hotel was walkable to downtown.

This was a lovely hotel that allowed us to submerge ourselves in the rainforest. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from our porch. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and happy hour was a hit. The staff were friendly and very helpful when needed. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next trip to Monteverde.
