9.8"A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home"
Review: Casita de Maya was everything I hoped for and more. I walked there from the airport and instantly felt like I had my own private villa. The space is peaceful, cozy, and personal—nothing like a big resort. Daniel and Lalo went above and beyond. Daniel made me delicious meals whenever I wanted, they happily arranged cabs for me, and the whole vibe was so welcoming. I even met another great couple finishing their open water diver certification, and it made the stay feel like a little community. It truly felt like a home away from home—and I already can’t wait to return.
Read more ↓What a personal and intimate experience! It was beautifully quiet, secluded and just steps from the airport. Even so, we NEVER HEARD any planes! Multiple rooms surrounding the pool, but it felt very private. Couldn't eat better than what Dan provided at reasonable cost with special attention! Made friends with his dogs, one of them "adopted" me and occasionally would sleep on guard outside our room while I napped in the afternoons. Miss him already! Cant wait to return!
