9.4Tommy always makes you feel at home, a great place to stay if you want to experience Kyoto like a local. The guesthouse is minutes away from both metro an JR stations, there are businesses, convenience stores, public baths and everything you need to feel at home.
English speaking owner very focussed on guest comfort. Simple traditional guest house accommodation, tatami mats & futon bedding very clean and comfortable. Easy walk to train and bus, 20 minute walk to Nijo Castle. Good guest experience.
