9.8"Great budget option"
A great budget option in Tamarindo All the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and modern. Central location. Peaceful courtyard with a pool, tables and chairs, and some cushions to lounge on. Breakfast nice, but a bit pricey (the most expensive we had in 3 weeks in Costa Rica, Tamarindo is expensive). The upstairs rooms don't have a balcony, downstairs have own seats by pool, so go for a downstairs room if you can. Loads of towels provided. Free coffee.
Read more ↓This was a great stay. Very convenient location to groceries across the street, multiple dining options and a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was different every day and cooked to perfection. It was so good that I would have felt guilty not tipping the cook - I think her name was Lara. My only suggestion would be to have a comfy couch instead of a 3rd bed in the seating/ family room area. It was a little awkward, our family of 4 gathered on a bed to watch our Netflix shows at night before bed but we made it work.
