We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa. It felt like our own private beach. The staff was especially helpful in planning transportation and booking excursions. The villa was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Belize.
"Beautiful place but we wish it were even more eco-friendly"
Beautiful place and the accommodations are spacious. Our only criticism is that this place is not eco-friendly. In such a beautiful place, you would expect you’d expect to see recycling bins. Also, we went to the beach party, and I was pretty grossed out and sad that there was a pig on a skewer. Finally, there is a great deal of sargassum everywhere. The sargassum, combined with so much trash and plastic all over Placencia, bums us out because Belize is such a beautiful country. We recognized that the sargassum is not Belize’s fault, but it’s just sad to see.
