Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Indonesia

Honestly an exceptional hotel, I felt like the hotel got every detail right. Service felt like you were staying in a luxury hotel. The hotel is a bit away from the main street so it felt like it was a private entrance, immediately greeted by staff and got helped with the bags, at reception we were greeted with cold drinks, staff communicated everything clearly and was SUPER hospitable and helpful (real feel of Asian hospitality). We checked in around midday and our room was available at 1pm (2 hours before usual check in time), which was extremely nice of them. I really enjoyed being at the pool, the hotel is super well furnished and decorated so the atmosphere was amazing. I had a cocktail and a burger at the pool, great food and good prices even. There was someone playing a bamboo instrument on ground floor which added to the atmosphere! The hotel room was great as well, with tons of details - nice beds, nice balcony with a little lounger to enjoy, comfy slippers, even a stylish kettle that looks like a Chinese teapot. We didn't get to have breakfast as we were leaving at 5am but they packed us a nice sandwich, snacks and drinks. We also got lucky and got a room looking out at the courtyard, so was quiet at night, heard birds singing when we woke up. Beach was really close by as well, lots of shops on the main street. The airport is 10 minutes away by taxi - no plane noise though. 100/10 would stay here again for a few days if again in Bali.

It’s a small property, but the planning of it was well thought out. The pool can feel private when you’re at one end and especially with the beautiful mosaic, designs and architect and the greenery around the pool contribute to it feeling secluded. Looking up to the rooms, they look like traditional Bolognese design but inside they are up-to-date and also well planned out for maximum storage and surface options in the room. The restaurant is nice because it’s spread out but feels cozy.

The staff are incredible - so friendly and eager to help. Just lovely. Great location right in the middle of Kuta but you feel like you’re miles away when in the resort. Great restaurant set up and the pool is lovely. Great service too ordering food and drink on a sun lounger by the pool.

The multi course breakfasts were included and offered wide selections—something for everybody! Delicious, and local food was an option as well! Dinners were convenient and just as hearty and delicious. The pool area was always clean, never noisy, and never smelled of chemicals! Also, the amazing Spa had a multitude of treatments to choose from and they pampered us with so many extras! The best part of Amnaya were the people. Megumi, Tri and Alfian in particular checked in on us every day and they made extra efforts, beyond expectations to do whatever we desired! Megumi gave us private Balinese dance lessons! Tri greeted us every morning at breakfast and Alfian gave us dining recommendations and greeted me every evening after long days! Loved them, miss them! Quality people, quality stay!

The hotel is a lovely tucked away haven from the hustle and bustle. However the location is great, its a really short walk to the mall (2mins) and the beach is on the other side of the mall and its about 10 mins walk to Kuta Beach. Its also really convenient for the airport, roughly 15 mins ( very early in the morning). The room was superb, spacious, quiet, modern and clean. The staff were friendly and approachable. The room overlooked the pool and I loved the little chill out nook on the balcony. The rooms were functional but really aesthetically beautiful and really well thought out.

The lagoon pool and pool access are great. The staff are very helpful and always smiling. A beach bag is provided in the room, which was quite handy. Location was good close to good restaurants.

Beautiful property. Beach is rocky but there's plenty of pools. Recommend the swim up lagoon room 🙂

The property itself was beautiful with the lovely pools. The buffet bread for breakfast was amazing and one of the best I’ve ever had. I liked the fact that the hotel was located close to the airport so to get to and from the airport was a breeze. It was a 10-15 minute cab ride both ways. I also enjoyed my room because it came with its own swim up area.

Loved the lagoon accessed from our room and only for use for those in rooms around us. Meant we could swan around in peace in our semi-private pool. Parents stayed in beach villa and had the extra high tea in afternoon with their private pool, and a pool/deck overlooking the beach for use by those in the villas (double shower and large bath!). Staff accommodated us by allowing us to join them when we wished. In-room food service was a bit of a wait, and the buffet breakfast by beach was amazing with varied choices to suit many cultures. Near to shops, massages and atms, as well as water park and mall if you wanted them. We went as an adult family holiday in own rooms and could not fault anything. The kids club looked good and families with kids we didn't really notice them it was so hotel was well laid out. Didn't even hear air traffic which surprised us being close to airport. Stunning sunsets and access to beach. We all agreed we will be back as its the best we have had in Bali and was so easy to access.

This was the most stunning resort I have ever been to. The service was impeccable, the food delicious and the views were stunning. I had a cliff ocean view private pool suite and it was absolutely worth it. The pools are not heated but I assure you, they do not need to be. The water is so warm.

The breakfast is fantastic, offering great quality and a wide variety. The service was also great, with a very helpful and kind staff. The hotel is very beautiful, with an incredible pool. We stayed at an oceanfront private pool junior suite, which is extremely comfortable.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. The location, the atmosphere, the room with its own private pool, magnificent! The stand out was the incredible service we received from all staff, particularly Dwika, Juli, Leona and Panddy. Thank you. We are already talking about our return.

Outstanding facility and cleanliness and very helpful staff member, Great dish and Coral restaurant experience. Junior Suite with private pool ocean view is highly recommended and definitely we will return to this hotel in future when we visit Bali.

The property was quaint and secluded which is what my friend and I liked. We upgraded ourselves from Deluxe room to a Deluxe Suite with Garden view when we reached, as the price was just slightly higher with access to the Cliff Lounge which provides a more private pool and fabulous Hydrojet pool that we chill there most of the day. The Garden view that we got was beautiful as well, as it was a mix of greeneries with an ocean view from far. Overall, unforgettable experience and definitely heading back.

awesome stay, the staff are lovely and accommodating. the room itself was perfect for us. cleaned everyday. comfiest pillows you’ll ever sleep on, wanted to bring them home! pool was amazing, swim up bar, wasn’t to deep so kids could swim while we had a drink.

Lovely, fun hotel where strangers talk in the pool with a swim up bar. Nice size rooms that are great value and very clean. Amazing, friendly staff. Great location for easy to walk to food and shopping. Not far from Kuta or Seminyak. I refuse to stay anywhere else

The swim up pool bar was great, easy to access. We had breakfast in our package however found it to be slow at times, My wife is GF they did supply toast which was great however a few more options would be beneficial.

The location is superb, 2 minute walk to the beach! The pool is amazing with a swim up bar, great range of people from children to elders, breakfast was great with a fresh egg station!

Breakfast was amazing and a great start to each day. We loved the design and vibe of our villa plus the private pool was so nice. All the staff were lovely and helpful whenever we had questions. The location is close to multiple beaches, cafes, restaurants, and more.

An escape within an escape. The room was delightful and felt like an oasis within the property. I had difficulty justifying leaving the property when so much was available. It was an amazing stay, with a private pool, breakfast included (in-room service, too), and friendly staff.

We had a pool access room and it was amazing! The staff at the whole resort are just the most friendly people who can’t do enough for you. All of the resort pools and restaurants are stunning - especially Ocean Pool and Sami Sami Restaurant. The resort app is so easy to use for restaurant bookings and tracking trams.

Privately located in the AYANA Estate. Approx. 10 minute drive from the centre of Jimbaran. Staff at RIMBA were lovely and extremely helpful. Room was nice and Balcony view was beautiful overlooked the pool (pools were amazing). House keeping kept the room lovely on a daily basis. Sitting in the middle of the AYANA estate definitely had it's perks, with a tram running every 10 minutes taking you around all the other resorts located in AYANA as you had access to all facilities (pools, bars, restaurants and AYANA private Kubi beach). Food & Drinks were lovely, varying in prices. A must do to visit both ECLIPSE & LUNA, two amazing rooftop bars located in the AYANA Estate.

Everything that is included is impressive. Especially the ocean pool which is right close to the famous rock bar. Amazing views and pools. And at the same time not crowded at the pools.

Must be seen at this property: - Rimba lounge with the infinity pool - Kubu Beach Club - Ocean Pool - Rockbar - River Pool @Ayana - Their Own Monkey Forest Everything was superb in terms of facilities, including the exceptional breakfast. You need to pet the Koi fish @RImba when going for breakfast. I must mention, staff are exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay an experience.

Great location, beach is across the road out one exit, shops are out the other exit. Great pool with swim up bar, restaurant on site. Good breakfast buffet, a lot of choices. Friendly, happy staff. Nice massage on-site. We had a pool access room which I would highly recommend.

VIP was 2 free beers each day so that is ok. The pool is good and has a swim up bar at both pools. Staff are great as they are everywhere. Rooms are nice and large bed. Drains smell but this has been the same at a lot of hotels. I would stay here again.

The most beautiful hotel. Perfect location, right across the road from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The pool area and swim up bar was my fav. Will definitely be coming back to stay here again without a doubt.

This hotel is absolutely first class! The rooms are large and beautifully appointed, restaurant is excellent, great breakfast buffet, the main pool was fantastic, and the swim up bar was perfect. And most of all, the staff were absolutely fantastic! Location is also superb!

Extra large room, clean and cosy. We had a room with private pool looking at the volcano with roofed terrace. The location was perfect to my taste (some might find it too much in the middle of nowhere, but I enjoyed it).

We got the private pool villa as we wanted to enjoy a nice sunrise and see Mt.Agung. And we did indeed see a beautiful sunrise, the views from the villa are not comparable to anything else. What we did not expect but received was a nice welcoming foot massage and a very lovely and educational rice trekking tour with their local guide (sorry forgot your name, but I know you come to hotel from Amed everyday!). The villa itself was beautifully decorated and comfy.

We stayed in one of the room with a private pool, and it was such an incredible experience. The view in the morning was breathtaking—you could see the mountains clearly, and the surrounding nature made everything feel so peaceful and secluded. The private pool was definitely the highlight. We spent most of the day there, completely relaxed, without even needing to go to the main pool. You have everything you need right at your fingertips. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, which made our stay even more special. Yes, the price is a bit higher compared to other places, but it’s absolutely worth it—even if just for one or two nights. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a bit of luxury and tranquility during your stay. The spa at the hotel was also top-notch—truly a wonderful experience. The ladies there were amazing, and I’d absolutely recommend treating yourself while you’re there.

Incredible honeymoon stay at Arkamara Dijiwa in the jungle suite with our own private pool! Nice spacious room and bathroom, and a big comfortable bed! The door to the bathroom was noisy and but when the staff were informed they fixed it immediately! All staff were lovely, and super helpful!

The staff is very helpful and attentive, and the property is beautifully set in nature and very well organized. The SPA experience was excellent and truly relaxing. We stayed in one of the new villas, which was wonderful: modern and spotless, yet designed in the local style, with a private pool overlooking the rice fields. The only small note is that breakfast is not a buffet, but they provide a menu to choose from, which you can enjoy by the lovely pool

The grounds and pool were beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were wonderful. The shuttle bus to town was handy although it would have been useful if it went more frequently and ran in the evening. The bathroom was spacious and private. We had the pool access room which was fabulous and handy for swimming. The location is a ten minutes drive to Ubud town. It is a peaceful location surrounded by nature. It is very beautiful.

- The resort felt like something out of a tv show - Stunning grounds, sky bar, and yoga area. - The resort upgraded my wife and I to a villa with a private pool and the room was incredible. We are very thankful - it was the best way to end our honeymoon. - Only 20 minute cheap taxi ride from central Ubud. Did not feel too remote at all. - Breakfast provided fantastic variety, it was fun choosing the 4 dishes we wanted each, and we were beyond full after each breakfast. - The complimentary yoga session on the Monday was the best we've had in Bali.

The staff are a standout ,from reception to dining and all in between. For a resort that was at capacity, it didn’t feel busy around the pool areas, especially the pool from our pool access room ,a very relaxed feel compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at nearby

My pool access room was absolutely stunning. The staff were exceptionally lovely. The hotel was stunning and the spa facilities were excellent. The wildlife and gardens were wonderful. The location, for walking along the beach path in both directions, was ideal.

Everything. Beautiful hotel. Staff exceptional, couldn't do enough for us. We stayed in a villa with private pool and it was beautiful. Breakfast was very good. Although a buffet, you didn't need to queue up waiting for your omelette, etc., once you placed your order you returned to your seat and staff brought it over. We were also presented with freshly prepared tropical fruits to try each morning.

My wife and I stayed in Laguna Marriott in early May, to say that the service was superb is an understatement, it was absolutely brilliant! Just one of many examples of the exceptional customer service; we were approached by a staff member who asked if there was anything they could provide, it was just as I was about to try and position my phone on a statue to take a pic of my beautiful wife and I, as we were dressed for dinner. The staff member offered to take the pic for us, and then went on to walk us to several more perfectly landscaped areas for more pics. I think seven in total. My wife and I agree that these are some of best pictures we have of us, and this is just one of many examples of the outstanding customer service we received. We have more examples of how the hospitality management, housekeeping and restaurant staff went above and beyond to make us feel special and ensure our stay was perfect. The room had a swim out to a salt water lagoon, gym, sauna, steam and spa were immaculate, appeared new, spotless. Amazing location, great rooms. we had the villa with the private pool which was great but the pool in the public area was gorgeous as well.

Breakfast good. Good coffee. Shared pool small but adequate. Quiet and calm ambiance. Private Pool room villa was as described on sites. Open air bathroom and shower. Traditional Balinese decor throughout. Courteous staff.

The staff are the best, nothing is too much trouble and always a smiling face. We stayed in the villa with private pool and it was amazing. Clean, comfortable, beautiful bathroom. In the centre of Canguu, but down a quiet alley way, would highly recommend. Great breakfast too

Villa plunge pool was great. Location was excellent. The beach was a 10 minute walk. Sunday Kitchen restaurant less than a one minute walk. Laundry at the end of the alley was excellent. Breakfast was selected off a menu and had Indonesian and Western choices. Staff were great.

We booked the private pool villa for 2. Right in the heart of canggu but tucked away so you don't hear all the noise! Staff were so kind and helpful, breakfasts were my favourite and the place was beautiful and peaceful.

Loved the room, it was very clean, spacious and the view was breathtaking. The room had a private plunge pool, it was amazing for cooling down and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. The restaurant where we had breakfast was spectacular, variety of food and service was impressive.

The Valley (jungle) View room was secluded and serene, offering an exceptional view from the private pool. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. The free yoga session is a must, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive — we couldn’t have asked for more.

Everything was just extraordinary, personnel was so so friendly and willing to help, the room was gorgeous with a quite big terrace and private pool, the view was just like one should expect from Ubud: green everyone! The breakfast and restaurant very good, as well.

The location is great. 1 minute walk to the beach, markets, bars and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and modern. We had a pool view room. The hotel facilities are excellent with a large pool, swim up bar and a separate kids pool.

We loved the hotel. We moved from another hotel as it was very run down and we were so happy with our choice of booking here. The pool is lovely and the swim up bar is a great touch. The rooms are clean with good AC. The restaurant is lovely and room service is 24 hours. Very close to the beach.

Sunrise yoga on the rooftop deck was lovely. Super suite with sunken tub and private pool were amazing. Staff members are very attentive.

Fantastic breakfast, good facilities, spacious rooms, good level of service, delicious food, room with pool access from balcony is a nice add-on even though everyone can be in your space from the rooms next door given there’s no separation

The beachfront location was beautiful. The breakfast was great quality and choices were amazingly delicious. We enjoyed happy hour out of our 4-night stay. We booked the lagoon swim out room. We stayed in Rm117 which was private and away from the walkways of other rooms. Our butlers Angga and Panji were so helpful with us.
