Having a private pool was amazing and room was quite nice

A very relaxing hotel, spent 5 nights here. Although it is a quiet hotel it was perfect for relaxing by the pool which had great views across the bay and the town below (5 min walk down a pathway). Room had a private plunge pool which was very useful. The staff were exceptionally helpful and great for providing advice on things to do or restaurants to try in the area. The room was nice a quiet and part of a set of rooms, apartments. The hotel sits on a hillside and provides panoramic views across the bay and surround countryside. Access to nearby towns was via a local bus service that ran every 30mins and stopped right outside hotel. Plenty of water sports, activities to get involved in when on the beach. The sea was crystal clear.

We booked a lot of rooms this June for our wedding party and everyone absolutely loved the stay at Levantes. The rooms are beautifully rustic and calming and have amazing views of Mylopatas beach and the bay. We also had the pleasure of spending a night in one of the suites with a private pool which was beautiful. We have also stayed in a few of the other rooms before and they are all lovely and unique. The breakfast is also delicious with loads of options to suit everyone and some different choices each day to mix it up. Especially loved the warm pastries! The staff are all incredible and so helpful and friendly. Shout out to Irene the manager and Dimitri and the ladies on the bar. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back to stay soon 💜

Levantes exceeded our expectations, which were already high! The room we chose (2 bed villa) was great with stunning views, a fairly large private pool, and two bathrooms. Service was also lovely! We arrived quite early because of our ferry and were allowed into the room before 10am and were also invited to have complimentary breakfast on the day of arrival, which was a very sweet gesture. We also got late checkout which was v helpful as our ferry was later in the day. Breakfast is delicious and full of local Greek dishes. During the shoulder season (May) the town was blissfully quiet and the hotel didn’t seem too busy either so we had a lovely peaceful time, and paid far less than we would have to in August, for example.

Extremely beautiful hotel. Feels like a very luxury resort. Easy 5 min walk to/from the ferry port and 2 min walk to a bus stop for taking the bus around the island (which is very easy). Far from the party scene so it’s nice and quiet. Delicious complimentary breakfast everyday with A LOT of options. We had a plunge pool and used it daily, but the main pool is also very beautiful and has many spots to lounge. Staff was very kind and helpful. Room was a little small but always very clean. But with a hotel this beautiful you won’t want to spend your time in your room so it was not a problem for us.

We’d already been here about 4 years ago and decided this would be a perfect spot for our honeymoon. This time we upgraded to a room with a private jacuzzi pool and day bed. We spent lots of time by our pool as well as the main pool with a glass of Prosecco/beer in hand. The location is fantastic just a stroll to the restaurants by the port. We rented a car for two days which was entirely optional as the bus service up to Chora and further afield. Yialos Hotel is great value and the staff cannot do enough for you. This will not be our last stay here.

I went there with my sister. Great staff, they are supper friendly. Great breakfast (especially their pancakes), which is served near the pool of the hotel which is stunning. I fell in love with the pool and sub beds. They provide towels to you when using sub beds, and it's a great way for you to tan and relax. It's supper close to the port and bus stop. I recommend going here if you are looking for a relaxing trip and are looking to tan and spend all mornings using the pool and the sunbeds. We felt supper safe in this hotel.

Staff was over the top friendly, helpful and professional. Hotel is beautifully appointed, gorgeous pool/bar area with fabulous views, and delicious breakfast. Breakfast includes very generous buffet and the option to add egg dishes/pancakes made to order. If you can do the splurge, the private pool rooms are wonderful, adding more space and comfort. Walk into town is about 15 min UP a walking path. My husband and I could do it, but we have friends who could not. Convenient mini market at end of path, plus a couple of tavernas if you need a rest before venturing further.

Breakfast was amazing. So much variety. The staff were over the top attentive. The resort was so clean and modern. We had the suite with the private pool. It exceeded our expectations. View from our balcony was ok. They had an outdoor theatre movie night….so cool. We would have preferred the updated version of Moulin Rouge. But it was still a great experience. There was great walking access to the port with a few restaurants. As well as a 15 minute walk to Chora where there were fantastic restaurants. Lastly we ate the best angus burger at our resort that we have ever had!!!!

Could not fault this hotel at all. As soon as you arrive you’re greeted with smiles, friendly welcome and helpful guided tour of the hotel facilities. Our bedroom was a superior suite which was stunning & had a sea view. We had breakfast included with every day was delicious. We also tried the hotel’s restaurant Grandma’s kitchen and treated ourselves to their tasting menu. Oh my goodness died & went to heaven, absolutely outstanding food. The pool was always clean and we never had a problem getting a sunbed but if you did there was another pool to use in the private area. Stunning views of the island. Had a relaxing facial and massage in the Spa. Most beautiful calm atmosphere. Staff were all so very kind and attentive. So thank you to them including our lovely maid. The location was brilliant, 7 min walk up to restaurants & nightlife. Same down to the port, lovely restaurants down there. Would definitely return.

The facilities were amazing with a wonderful pool and beautiful view. The rooms have a strange black and white aesthetic with lots of mirrors. I loved all of the outdoor and restaurant locations, but the rooms were a bit dark and not really user friendly. One odd closet that you had to pull out of a wall. No drawers or dresser for clothing storage, and little counter space in the bathroom. There is also no door to the bathroom, so no privacy was available. The pool area was wonderful, but the service was different than what we’re used to in the US. Almost every time I had to walk over to the bar to ask for a drink or food. And I had to flag a waiter down if I wanted another beverage. The concierge was very knowledgeable and very helpful.

We booked the grand suite/private pool it was beyond amazing! Comfortable, fresh lines and towels daily..breakfast incredible! So many choices delivered the time of your choice, set up gorgeous and everything delicious! Well worth the treat!! A fantastic family holiday that we did not want to end!

We were staying at The Grand and the location and the service level of the friendly staff was perfect. Very nice location with a great view and the private pool area was top class.

We treated ourselves and stayed in a family suite with sea views and private pool. Our room was very comfortable and had it's own outdoor area with somewhere to sit and a spa. Our adult Daughter who was traveling with us had her own separate room and outdoor area on the other side of the private pool and sunbed area which meant we could spend time together but also had our privacy. The view was amazing and the breakfast which we had brought to us each morning was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and the massage at the spa very relaxing.

The location was very central, easy access to friendly and very helpful staff, clean and great hotel. Loved pool and bar and breakfast. Mylopotas beach, Chora and to great restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. Pool was huge, with great views, an awesome pool bar and lots of single and double sun beds.

We loved our stay here, the suite was fabulous and there is a lovely beach and many restaurants very close by. The main town Chora is a short taxi ride away. The outdoor space was amazing and the infinity pool looking out over the sea was gorgeous. The breakfasts were great, especially as they were brought to the room and served on the terrace. We also ordered a few lunches and dinners to the room as well as it was just such an amazing view! We also had spa treatments which were lovely! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Absolutely loved this property. Staying in the room with a pool and the view was unbelievable. Quick easy walk down to Mylopotas beach. Reception staff were lovely and helped us plan anything we wanted to do. Morning breakfast was lovely. Having transfers included from the port was really handy.

The breakfast was perfect, offering a delightful variety of options that catered to every taste. One of the highlights of our stay was having our own private pool. We stayed at Ios Bliss for our honeymoon in June 2025 for 14 unforgettable nights. Having travelled extensively over the years, we knew this trip had to be something truly special—after all, you only get one honeymoon (hopefully!). Ios Bliss didn’t just meet our expectations; it far exceeded them. The property is beautifully new, but what really made it exceptional was Stavros and his team. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Their warmth and attention to detail were remarkable. At first, the cynic in me wondered if it was just polished customer service. But as the days melted away in the sun, it became clear: this wasn’t rehearsed—it was real. Stavros genuinely cares about his guests, not because it’s good business, but because that’s simply who he is. I tried to think of something negative to say, to give a balanced review—but honestly, I couldn’t. The rooms are spacious, cool, and beautifully designed with a minimalist style that blends perfectly into the serene surroundings. The private pool was a dream, and the silence—pure tranquility. And the bed... wow. The most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. We’re actually ordering one for home! The location is a 5 minute walk to Mylopotas beach down a winding road. Whether you’re looking for a holiday retreat or planning a honeymoon, our advice is the same: Go to Bliss. Ios has become our home away from home, and now we have our little nest in the sun. If I could rate this property more than 10 I would. The property is stunning from the architecture design the location the massive private pool the room the comfort. Most of all the owner Stavros is the most kindest person it’s not very often you meet people like him. I can’t thank you enough Stavro for everything you really went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The layout was gorgeous very modern the setting was impeccable the breakfast was wonderful just everything by far my favourite stay. You must book this property there is no other that compares. If you want privacy quiet design cleanliness comfort modern amenities with a touch of traditional within the setting you must book this property. The value for money matches and the pictures online although they are beautiful just don’t do it justice. Thank you for everything Stavro! We will be back ❤️❤️❤️❤️ even the landscaping is stunning!

Ios Bliss is magnificent. Location is less than a 10-minute walk from Milopotas beach and a bunch of restaurants, and Chora is a quick taxi ride away. But the hotel itself is quiet and elegant - better than the photos. The pool and deck are perfect. Breakfast is varied and delicious, and the hospitality by Stavros and his family is special. They will take good care of you.

We have travelled to over 20 countries around the world in addition to 7 Greek islands.This is by far the best accommodation ever, from the lovely receptionist who not only showed us the facilities but also told us about the island sites and the 2 euro 10 Min coach ride up to the main town and 15 min ride to another beach.Our breakfast waiter and barman George gave outstanding service. The port area is quieter than the main town with over a dozen lovely restaurants & gorgeous walks around the port and beach. The Relux Hotel Ios has beautiful manicured gardens. We were upgraded to a large clean room with separate lounge area ,large bathroom & private pool. We would class this as a 5 star hotel and should be on your bucket list if visiting the Greek islands.

Hotel Relux is a lovely clean, modern hotel in a fantastic location, close to all the restaurants and only a 3 minute walk to the port where all the ferries arrive. All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with pool and Sea views. The wet room was spacious too with clean towels everyday and shampoo and body wash supplied. Breakfast was plentiful with many options. The pool area was clean and well looked after. It was a lovely pool but it had no shallow end, so difficult for some who might not be confident in the water or non swimmers. Pool towels are supplied. The hotel had a relaxing open air bar area at the front where you could relax and watch the world go by. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would love to return next year to enjoy this wonderful friendly island.

Best place to stay in ios. Pool is amazing. Staff are great. There is a bar tender at the pool and room service for drinks. The port is also a great spot to stay and close to being to the center of town whilst having a few restaurants, a supermarket and being a bit more quiet.

Warm welcome and shown to our room. Lovely pool with pool side towels in your bedroom. Excellent choice at breakfast. Ideal location for lots of restaurants. Perfect walk close to ferry. Sadly, we only stayed two nights so would love to return and explore the Island more.

Location, views, our own private pool, friendly and helpful staff especially front desk, shuttle service on arrival to and from hotel, the breakfast in our suite was a treat and lots to choose from. Also hotel breakfast buffet was great.

Our stay here was perfect! The room is updated, clean, comfortable, and has an amazing view. We had our own private pool and spent many lovely afternoons relaxing there. We started each morning with a delicious, included poolside breakfast overlooking the Infinity edge pool. It’s a short (less than 10 minutes) walk to the beach which involves 2 lifts. In addition to our private pool, we had access to 2 additional pools. There are several restaurants near the beach as well as a small market. A taxi to town costs 10€ each way. It’s supposed to be walkable, but we did not attempt it as the roads do not have much room for walking. The staff were very friendly. We would 100% stay at this hotel again.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the property couldn’t have been nicer! Ios has a reputation for being a “party island” but it ended up being the most relaxing & restful stop on our journey mainly because we didn’t want to leave our room! The patio & pool were huge, it felt like a villa more so than a hotel room. It was super close to the beach & the elevator made it extremely accessible. I miss waking up to the Aegean views and laying on the daybed, taking intermittent dips into the pool. It was a lovely time and everyone was very warm!

Our stay at Ios Grand Pool Suites was excellent. The room was spacious and offered a beautiful view. However the highlight of our visit was our dinner at the hotel’s “Tomatini” restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere truly memorable. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay here- toral of 7 days. Loved the private pool we had, it is maintained very well! Beach was a very close walk, with good lawn chairs and beds. Clean towels provided daily. Breakfast is delicious and fresh food daily. Pool also great size and comfortable chairs/shade around. The staff was incredible! This was definately a highlight. So warm, welcoming and helpful. With a baby we needed more than the average guest and they got us everything we needed. Cons-there was no bathtubs for our 1 year old baby. The website says there is a gym but the gym was outside and very hot, equipment was dusty and dirty and it lacked equipment. Treadmill was not usable, as it was too small and flimsy. Running along the beach was really nice though and smooth!

Beautiful hotel with stunning gardens. The staff couldn't do enough for you and always had a smile on their face - especially the lovely lady running the pool bar. The pool was beautiful, breakfast was delicious and you're just steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen! The room was kept clean and was bright and airy with a lovely little balcony covered in pink flowers. Only a couple of 'cons' to point out. We had one plug socket in the whole room, meaning we had to keep switching the items that needed charging. We didn't have tea or coffee making facilities but a kettle was provided when we asked for one. However, we found that when it was switched on, the electric went off in the room?! It also did this when I used my own hair dryer?! It did make me wonder if that was the reason there was only one plug socket? Could the room not cope with multiple/higher voltage items being used? Not a massive issue but something the hotel might want to look into (we were in room 130). The only other thing, and again, it's only a minor point, but it would be great to have a bit more variety with the music around the pool. We spent quite a lot of our week there and it became a bit of a joke between us that we could guess which song was coming on next! Not the end of the world, but something that I thought could be easily rectified if feedback was given. All in all, we had a lovely stay at the hotel and would not hesitate to come again.

We had 3 nights here in June. Location is great, it's just off the beach and there are bus stops just a few minutes walk plus a few restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The pool area is great, although the pool is quite deep. One thing I was very surprised about was how Amazing the food was. We had lunch and dinner here one day and both meals were amazing and very standard on price. I recommend the seafood linguine, one of the best pasta's I've ever had. Breakfast was ok but pretty standard for Greece. The gym is good, limited machines but what they do have is newish and works well. The only slight negative is the rooms. Don't get me wrong, they were fine but they were very basic. Nice balconies though and very decent size. They could do with a bit of a spruce up but they're not terrible and they were very clean. Overall a great hotel with a great pool at a nice price. I'd recommend this for sure

The suites are fantastic! Great quality fixtures & fittings, amazing views and an outstanding private pool. Communications pre our stay could have been better but this issue was resolved & they were very apologetic.

Beautifully designed suites with lots of space and own large private pool with panoramic views of mountains and sea. Staff were friendly.

From Anna meeting us upon arrival to provide the keys, show us the house or provide recommendations to the wonderful pool and outdoor location with wonderful views of Chora, our experience was amazing. The daily breakfast was amazing and daily cleaning kept the house spotless. We were able to watch a movie outside under the stars with their built in projector. I cannot recommend this location highly enough, we definitely would stay here if we visit Ios again.

EVERYTHING!! We can’t say enough about this property and Villa! The hostess Anna was amazing!! She met us upon our arrival and brought home made desserts and a bottle of wine! She helped with booking a car rental, restaurants, advising us on where to sight see and she was such a nice lady! Her place was over the top and spotless. Her staff cleans the villa and pool everyday and they are so friendly! We would definitely give her more than a 10 if we could…100% worth it!!

The best Villa to rent when visiting Ios. It has everything, confortable beds, looking like the pictures. The pool is INSANE and the design is incredibly cute. We were surprised by the nice host that upgraded our reservation for the bigger house with no extra charge. Personnel is amazing. Thank you again!

Great location if you want to stay near Mylopotas Beach - only a few minutes walk down the hill to the beach. Lovely spacious apartment - we got upgraded to a room with a private pool after there was a problem with our original booking. Very clean and great having fresh linen each day. The shared pool is lovely with an amazing view over the beach. About 1.5km walk uphill to the Old Town of Ios, but there is a bus stop right outside and restaurants close by on the beach.

We spent just a day there on a short trip from Santorini. Yanna welcomed us and suggested we spend sometime by the pool until our apartment is ready thing we did. View from the infinity pool was amazing. We asked where we can have some lunch delivered and she recommended "Mageirio" which was pretty good and good price. As for our apartment how amazing this was! Clean and very tastefully decorated, brand new and a fully equipped kitchen. Our son really enjoyed the little private pool and shower water flow was very good. Overall a convenient location, friendly staff and fantastic apartment.

We spent the most wonderful week at Villa Calma in Ios! Right from the start we were welcomed personally by the host who was warm, friendly and showed us around the villa. The property is brand new and built of the highest quality. Extremely comfortable beds, bed linen and bathroom/shower facilities. We slept so well, with the air conditioning throughout. The swimming pool was marvellous and was maintained and checked daily to ensure a wonderful swim experience. Our kind host often popped by in the mornings to say hello and gave us fresh fruits or a vegetable from her garden - so kind, so informal and yet such a wonderful touch of true hospitality. We often cooked our dinner at home in the great kitchen or used the outdoor BBQ! The facilities including a a washer/dryer are perfect. We absolutely loved our stay in every respect and will be back. Can give the highest recommendations to stay at this Villa!!

A perfect ten! We loved it and wish we could stay longer. The house is amazing, all new, beautifully built and decorated,with all the amenities .The kitchen was fully functional and equipped (although I never cook on vacations😉)with everything you may need! Every room was a pleasant surprise! You have to see by yourselves!Each one with its own bathroom . And the pool!!!! Ok, I could live there forever! It was stylishly designed and had artistic fittings and furnishings. It was perfect for different times of day, in the sun and shade. The pool was fantastic. The kitchen facilities were good. The beds were comfortably firm. The sliding windows and insect screens were very effective. The local staff were there every day servicing the villa. Nothing was too much trouble.

Clean, comfortable, great pool / lounge area outside, secluded, short drive or atv ride to the villages, modern interior, snacks and water provided, fantastic host with amazing communication (helped booked dinner reservations, taxis, atvs, etc.)

The stay was magnificent, my wife and I arrived and were treated like royalty. From the time when they met us at the port tonthe end of the stay we felt special. The suite was great, the private pool are a amazing very comfortable, the bathroom was also great with a separate bathtub and shower with plenty of room to be very comfortable. The rrol itself very ample space decorated with art designed by the owners with very original details. In a word, great! Now all that beauty and comfort was always followed by the professionality and charm from the staff, from the minute I contacted the hotel and spoke to Cristina then when we arrived the manager Nicholas and all the staff were great, my hat to Theodore!! He was always alert for all our needs like a private bottler and friend!! George, Christos, Vasilikis, Zoe all the staff was friendly, courteous and just plain amazing. A perfect fit for the place. The FOOD!!! Yes the food!! Wow!! If by some reason you do not stay at Agalia Suites well then DO yourself a favor and go eat at the Agalia Suites restaurant. Just order anything it will be amazing!! And the desserts!! Do get more than 1 otherwise you will be fighting over who ate more!!! Well thats it, Agalia is on the must do list before you die places to go!!!

The staff at Agalia went out of their way to make sure our stay was wonderful!! Everything at the resort was perfect! Great location and beautiful. They even surprised us with a fun treat during our Fourth of July stay! The transfers they arranged to and from the resort were on time and the drivers were courteous. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of great options. Our daughter has celiac disease and they provided food choices she could eat and even had gluten free bread for her! We really appreciated that so much along with their attention to every detail. Of course the room was beautiful and the private pool so relaxing. We stayed at several different resorts while visiting the Greek islands and this was our BEST night sleep!! The bed was amazingly comfortable and the conditioned air kept the room feeling dry from any humidity. This luxury resort is everything you would expect and more. Upon our check out, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner who truly cares about the guests who stay there!!

We had a perfect stay in the hotel. Agalia is a luxury boutique hotel with very unique design. You can see and feel the designer's touch in every detail, even the most small ones. We stayed in a room with sea view and swing bed and enjoyed it very much. Everything was perfectly clean. The room was huge. Both beds were very comfortable and relaxing. We had a big balcony overlooking the sea and a private entrance from the pool. The pool was just beautiful. All the area around the pool is pure relaxation and beauty. The sunbeds were very comfortable, too. Maybe there should be more of them around the pool, because sometimes we didn't have a spot for two. We haven't planned to visit Ios at all, we thought it was a kind of teenagers party island, but we saw Agalia Suites add and decided to give it a chance. And it was worth it. We had a very good end season deal and it was definitely the best hotel we have ever been to. Except of the room price itself, everything else was very pricey. The food in the hotel, the cocktails and all the places and attractions the hotel stuff recommended to us were fancy and expensive (not just comparing to Ios prices, but to other islands too). It is good to know that there are a lot of other, more cheap and good options for all of these on the island, too. The breakfast was also fantastic and had variety of everything you can think of in the morning. Would stay in the hotel again for sure.

The property is absolutely stunning! We were upgraded to one of their top rooms once they found out it was our honeymoon and had missed our flight before getting there. Which the room was just glorious with multiple pools and a view on both side is the island. The staff are so friendly and kind. They really take care of their guest from Elias the concierge manager making transportation, excursion, and restaurant for us. The driver Sam was one of the nicest person we met and Maria always great us with a smile every morning by the pool. It was also my husband’s birthday and they brought him a cake to our room as well as leaving us treats every evening. We highly recommend this hotel!

Such a wonderful place ! Bill, Linardo and his wife were very good hosts and helped us a lot in our stay. The villa is new, beautiful, clean, safe and in a very quiet place. And a magic view. We spent there two weeks with the kids and we really enjoyed our stay.

We were met at the Villa upon our arrival and someone went over all the details with us, including how to get in and what to do when we left.

The villa was situated in a superb spot with great views to chora and the port. It was perfectly clean and all the staff were very attentive

We stayed at the pebbles with the infinity pool, the views are amazing! Nick and his family are wonderful and so friendly. Really helpful that there is a washing machine available to use as well. Walking to the port only takes about 15 minutes (and that’s with two children) and walk to town about 20-25 mins. When we arrived we opened the fridge and it had been stocked with some bits which was so amazing! They provided plenty of bottled water for us each day which we really appreciated. Also coffee pods which my husband loved. Breakfast in the morning were freshly baked croissants and bread which Nick delivered to us in a basket.

The only way to truly describe this Oasis, is breathtaking. Surrounded by endless arrays of palm trees and olive trees over 300 years old, the entire property is stunning above and beyond anyone’s expectations. Then you are escorted to your room.... beyond words!!! Marble and natural stones come alive in patters and designs of Astonishing beauty. Pictures are only a prelude to the real experience. We didn’t opt for the rooms with private pools and waterfalls, since the property is surrounded by the ocean and a huge salt water pool-lounge area. All we wanted is a room with a water view which is a must. The service is comparable or better to any 5-star hotel anywhere, with an added Mediterranean unpretentious flair. How in the world was such a place build on a remote beach in IOS?

Calilo is a beautiful resort. The staff are incredible. Honestly, they’re the best part! Our stay was great, but for the money, we hoped they would have worked out some of the early-season issues (we were there in June) - our neighbor’s pool overflowed into ours, which then flooded our patio; our transfer van got a flat tire on its spare, leaving us on the side of the road in the heat while we waited for someone to pick us up at the auto mechanic’s shop; and certain features were in disrepair (a number of decorative pools were either drained or filled with green water). Many of these problems seem to be a result of it being early in the summer season and likely not a reflection of the overall experience. In general, the fees are very high - for food, for transfers, etc, but the people and hotel are truly wonderful. One note - there was an obnoxious influencer parked right in front of our sunbed getting drone photos taken for hours on end. I think that’s a result of the “Instagrammable” nature of the hotel. But bear in mind that this is likely a persistent problem given the strong focus on social media here. Again, beautiful place with wonderful people and worth the visit. If you’re looking for seclusion and luxury, hard to beat it in Greece.

The hotel’s artistic ambiance and serene atmosphere embody their mantra, “Create a Life you can fall in love with.” Every detail is meticulously curated, from the exclusive, tranquil beach to the unique, cave-like gym equipped with state-of-the-art gear. We enjoyed a phenomenal 9-course meal at Ches, the hotel’s restaurant, which took us on a gourmet tour of Cycladic islands through traditional dishes. The massage we received was the best we've ever had, set in a serene space surrounded by water. Calilo isn’t just for couples; it’s also surprisingly family-friendly, with several families enjoying the amenities during our stay. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring our experience was perfect. Though the price tag is high, it’s worth every penny for the romantic, art-filled escape. We’d return in a heartbeat for another stay at this extraordinary place.

Calilo is truly a one of a kind experience. The level of care and attention to detail that is put into the whole property is like no other hotel we've ever seen. The fitness facility is beautifully appointed with state of the art machines and weights. The attentiveness of the staff is on point! Special recognition to Maria our waitress for dinner a few evenings - she was such a pleasure to visit with!

We liked it a lot! Our receptionist, Adriana, was very polite. The room was clean and comfy. But most of all we enjoyed the pool area and the bar. The pool was taken care of, clean, big and fun. Young people were having good times at the pool but we didn't get bothered by the sound or anything. The vibes were chill and we enjoyed the fact we were so close to the port area which also has a nice beach and shops/restaurants around but also gives you the chance to chill out in front of this big pool with the option to order something to eat or drink there! The younger guy of the staff at the bar was very helpful and made me a nice coffee too! The little way going up to the hotel is quiet, full of fig trees and offers a traditional cycladic feeling.

I booked ‘Twin room with pool and sea view with balcony’ for my 19-year-old son and his friend for a week. They said the hotel was “amazing”, with excellent and reasonably priced food, and lovely staff. Spotlessly clean inside and outside. Spectacular views of the fab pool, sea and surrounding area from their roomy balcony. Easy 5 min walk to and from the port, and steeper (but not arduous) 10 min walk to the Chora. They (and their friends who also stayed in Armadoros) loved it! (All communications I had with hotel were smooth and the staff were very helpful.)

We hung out by the pool each day and had lunch at the pool bar. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us tips for the area. Food was delicious at the property. Drinks were 10/10. This was a central location to the port and to the city center. I would recommend 10/10 to stay here again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Petradi hotel and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we checked in the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The room was perfect and super clean. The bed was comfortable and the pool so relaxing with amazing views. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like complimentary water and wine. One of the highlights was the stunning view from our patio and overall from the pool. The location was ideal, with easy access to Chora and Mylopotas beach. Overall, our stay at Petradi hotel was nothing short of exceptional. I would high recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Ios island. I look forward to returning next summer!

The lovely Greek owner works tirelessly to insist on a spotless hotel and her staff is just amazing. The view from this hotel and the pool are not like anything I've ever experienced before! We had a lovely stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the area and island. The hosts are wonderful and we felt very very welcome and looked after. Rooms were very good. Two things that would have made it better was a kettle in the room to make a drink and a window in the second bedroom as it was incredible dark. Pool was lovely and was huge. There was a small kids pool too. Might need to think about seating to help parents with monitoring kids as there wasn’t any shade around the pool area near the kids pool. But there was shade by the pool bar.

I loved staying at Homer's Inn! It's a family owned hotel, and it has all the facilities you need on a stay in Ios. The staff was super nice. They arranged pickup and dropoff at the port, gave us a welcome drink at our first time by the pool, and they always smiled and greeted you. The pool was super nice to have after a couple of hours at the beach. We always spent the last hours in the evening by the pool, and it was very relaxing and nice. Family friendly! This hotel was absolutely stunning! We had the loveliest stay here and couldn’t have asked for better! We were collected from the port and greeted by the owner who showed us on a map all the things to do in Ios and his mother who greeted us with fresh squeezed orange juice. We were brought to our room and our cases were carried there for us and it was a beautiful big room with massive bathroom and a lovely terrace. It was outstanding! Chilled water already in the fridge for us, safety deposit box, a sofa! The pool was gorgeous, very clean and comfortable with lots of sunbeds and a family run pool bar which served great cocktails and some food. We had club sandwiches and wedges both days we stayed here and they were lovely. We were particularly hungover one day and the Fanta orange with ice and club sandwich really hit the spot lol great location with the bus stop literally right across the hotel or you could walk to the port (10 mins) or into chora (15 mins uphill steps). We walked down from chora several times and it was a lovely walk with stunning views and so peaceful. We had so much fun in Ios and this hotel was the perfect base for us, so relaxing and comfortable we couldn’t have asked for more. We were dropped to the port on our last day and given recommendations for our next stop at Naxos which was just lovely. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here! This is a family business and you are treated like family. The room is more like an apartment and was spotless. Very spacious and modern. We had a beautiful view of the sea from our large balcony. The pool is huge and the lounge area spacious with plenty of sun lounge chairs. You can see the sea from your sun lounge by the pool! Breakfast is served on the main balcony by the family and again you are exposed to magnificent views of the sea. They couldn't do enough for us! We were picked up and dropped back to the port for free, everyone was always friendly and courteous with lots of recommendations on where to eat and visit. The hotel is 7 minute walk from the port and 12 minutes walk to Chora (town). The area was quiet and we slept really well every night. We are looking forward to coming back and bringing all our family with us!

We stayed at Homers Inn for a week in August. It was absolutely outstanding and completely exceeded what we expected. The staff could not have done more for us, they collected us from the port in the hotel car, and offered to take us to the supermarket when we arrived. We had our son aged 3 with us, and the staff were fantastic with him, making him feel so welcome every time we went to the pool or reception or arrived back at the hotel. When we checked in, Panos explained everything about ios to us, the best places to go and how to get around the island. He answered every question we had and was so so helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day and were spotless. The balcony view was beautiful and the pool was quiet and relaxing. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again it was perfect.

I recently stayed at the Far Out Hotel and Spa in Ios and had a fantastic experience overall. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the action, making it very convenient for both the beach and the town. With a €2 bus ride available to and from anywhere on the island, getting around was incredibly easy. The breakfast at the hotel was a standout feature. There was a great variety of options, and it was served until 11 am, which was perfect for relaxed mornings. The swimming pool, though small, was never overcrowded, and we always managed to find a bed. The pool bar added to the laid-back atmosphere, offering drinks and snacks from 9 am to 9 pm at reasonable prices. The room was a pleasant surprise, being cleaned daily and providing a spectacular view that made our stay even more enjoyable. This attention to detail and cleanliness made the experience comfortable and relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend Far Out Hotel and Spa for anyone visiting Ios. The combination of a great location, good amenities, and reasonable prices makes it a fantastic choice for a stay on the island.

We had the most amazing stay here for 3nights in May We were collected from the Port as the Beach is about 10mins away, on arrival we were met by Georgina who from the start do the end of the trip was really professional and super helpful with everything we needed. Pool and pool bar are amazing, great views, drinks and food served by lovely happy staff;) Rooms are super clean, amazing shower and beautiful sea views - some really great restaurants down at the beach area which is a 5mi walk down the hill. All in all a lovely part of our months travels. Highly recommend x

The place is AMAZING! The view from the rooms is breathaking. The pool is really nice with a gorgeous view over Milopotas beach and a pool bar where you can enjoy a drink. Breakfast is included and quite diverse. Everyone is smiling and wiling to help. The cleaning was made every day. The public station is in front of the hotel. Everything was over the expectations. We will kindly recommend the place.

The view from the balcony was amazing. It's also nice to cool down in the pool, cocktails and food is good at the pool bar.

We loved our room and it was clean and comfortable with a a kitchenette and a nice seating area in the back patio. There's a couple cute cats wandering about too that made me and my sister's stay even more enjoyable. The hotel has beautiful views of all of Ios from the pool, and is located in a convenient area. There is also free parking. We love the hotel owner Sabrina, and the hotel reception Katerina was kind and helpful during our stay. If we are in the area we will be staying here again.

Lovely hotel , the grounds ,gardens lovingly tended by owner Sharon ( and her family ) - pool is like an oasis . Comfy lounge chairs at beach and pool and towels provided . There was also a kiddie pool - although we did not see any children , Our initial room was a bit small for us , but they were able to offer us a much larger room with kitchenette for a reasonable upgrade . Our room faced the ocean and had a huge deck with comfortable wicker chairs and an umbrella and clothes line . Well worth the extra money . The ladies who cleaned our room did a good job and also cleaned all the common areas. Breakfast was simple , but offered both hot ( scrambled eggs, sausage , pancakes ) and cold ( meat , cheeses , yogurt , fruit , many breads and sweet cakes , plus a machine you could make espresso , lattes , cappuccino etc ) . There was fresh cut bread each day , as well as the usual commercial choices , and of course delicious Greek honey , jams , and nuts . There was some children’s cereals also. The selection did not vary much each day but it would be easy to choose many good things to eat . The cotton is right across from the beach ( and chairs are free for guests )

Loved this place the hotel is immaculate pool superb also a small pool for children. Situated at the port but in a prime location beach fronted. This hotel serves food and I must say the pizzas are amazing stright from a pizza oven best on the island a must visit.Thanks to Lea a great host with lots of knowledge nothing to much trouble. Be back next year for another stay with family.

Excellent restaurant, fantastic pizzas cooked fresh in the pizza oven. 50cm pizzas only €20! Swimming pool was lovely and big though a little murky. We had a family room by the pool (room 24) which was a brilliant size with large patio seating area and a separate smaller patio off the bedroom. Brilliant location near the port (5 minute walk). The beach was really quiet with free sunbeds available and a beach waitress. Perfect for families. The staff were lovely and friendly. Lots of restaurants nearby around the port and harbour. This was a perfect place for families given the islands party reputation.

Really liked the location of the hotel in terms of it being *right on the beach* and having a beautiful pool and cafe along with a lovely little restaurant. The seating options around the pool (including covered and comfortable loungers) were awesome. The staff were friendly. The price was reasonable.

Exceptional Service and Beautiful Stay! Our experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The place itself is beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere and a lovely swimming pool that made it the perfect getaway. What truly made our stay special was Elizabeth at the reception. She was incredibly kind and helpful from the start explaining everything in detail and offering amazing local recommendations that really enhanced our trip. But the real highlight was at the end of our stay. While going over our travel plans with her, we realized together that we had missed our night ferry and had to leave immediately to catch our flight. Elizabeth didn’t hesitate she quickly called a taxi and helped us get on our way without panic. Thanks to her attentiveness and care, we made it just in time. We are beyond grateful and highly recommend this hotel not just for its beauty, but for the truly exceptional service. Thank you, Elizabeth!

Everything, it's one our our favourite places we've ever stayed and we will stay here when we visit Ios in the future. The pool is great and has a spectacular view over Chora, it's exceptionally clean and the rooms are the perfect size - we stayed in the most basic room and it still had a gorgeous view. It's also the perfect location to explore the island - 5 minute walk from Chora (if that!) and a 10 minute bus journey or cab to Mylopotas beach or the port. The staff in particular make this property unique, all are friendly and helpful! Stavros the owner helped us with everything we needed and every recommendation he gave us was 10/10. He really made the trip unforgettable, helping us find beaches and suppliers for our wedding next year, recommending places on the island we never would have discovered without him.

Rarely do I get excited!!! to write a review about a property. My time at Lofos Village was everything I want in a stay - exceptional facilities, spotless, attractive, attention to detail - quality, right down to the Nespresso machine in the room. My room had a comfortable balcony with a great view of Chora which dominates the view and which lights up at night like a towering pyramid of Cycladic white shops, homes and churches. I’ve not met a better staff at any boutique type property - Stavros & Elizabeth were personable and attentive. I loved how they genuinely wanted to know who their guests were. Special requests - no problem. Suggestions for restaurants, beaches - excellent advice. I looked forward to my afternoon coffee a the poolside just to chat 😊 Put Ios and for sure this property on your Greek Islands bucket list.

The staff friendly, caring, and helpful for the entire staying - the kind that remembers when you leave and asks you the day before if you need a ride at the port! Pool was also gorgeous and the price at the bar are very economical. We kept ordering club sandwiches at lunch because they were super delicious. My friend and I stayed here while island hopping through Greece - this stay was a highlight. The hosts are very polite and helpful and treat every guest like family! The pool with a swim up bar is just a bonus and Marina’s mojitos are to die for 😉 Will recommend this stay to any family or friends travelling to ios in the future.

A beautiful place to stay looking over the port with amazing facilities including : lovely swim up pool and air con rooms. Marina was an amazing host from start to finish and extremely accommodating for our whole week stay. I would definitely stay at Poseidon hotel again and would love to be back in the further.

We just finished a week in IOS staying at Markos Village and it was great! The owner of the hotel, George, picked us up upon arrival and gave us a tour of the local area (shops, bars, clubs, restaurants etc.), which made settling into the new environment very easy. If you are looking to visit Ios Markos Village is the best place to stay not only in its proximity to both the nightlife IOS offers but also the two beach fronts and restaurants that are only a short walk away. The hotel itself was clean very well kept and offered great snacks and drinks (of your choice) at the bar by the pool. The atmosphere of the venue is very accommodating to those looking to indulge in the nightlife IOS has to offer but also caters for those prioritising the more relaxed picturesque aesthetic that this beautiful island is also renown for. The highlight of the trip however comes down to the family run business who take pride in ensuring you are having the best time possible! and for that I am sure we will be back again in the future. I had a fantastic time at Markos Village. The staff were wonderful and offered free transfers to and from the Port. The food and drinks were delicious and cheap! It is close to all the bars and a few minutes walk from the bus stop which takes you to the beach and far out beach club. The pool was also great to have and was very well looked after. I met some great people here and couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

The best place to stay in ios for young people. The family running it are lovely and pick you up and drop you off at the ferry. Was such an ideal location with the main bars and clubs just a 5 minute walk away. The pool was lovely and well maintained. No complaints what so ever, if I ever come back to IOS I’ll be staying here.

Far out is across the road from the beach but around a 10 minute bus journey from the centre - these buses run every 15 minutes from outside the hotel until around 12am. Would definitely recommend for nice rooms and pool but not in the centre!

Amazing location right on the beach with free beach and pool loungers for guests (we stayed in mid-off season)! The breakfast included had a good variety of options, nice dining area by the pool too. Pool was also clean and kept at perfect cooler temp. Wifi was also very good all throughout the site. We stayed in September so the club next door was closed unfortunately but the reduced price of reflected that, we will just have to come back in peak season! :)

We had a great time at far out, the pool area and restaurant were great! The rooms were average at best but you don't stay at far out for the rooms! The resort has a great atmosphere, It's right on the beach, the food was excellent, with also a self serve restaurant if you wanted something quick. The pool parties were fun and the bus right outside the resort was only 10 mins to hora which was full of bars! Such a fun place to stay, loads of young people and would definitely recommend it.

The FarOut Village is located in front of Mylopotas beach. The bungalows are simple but clean and set in a shady garden. Each bungalow has a small terrace in front of it. Nice pool and pool bar with great food. Guests are mostly young people and there is a nice party atmosphere around the hotel.

Very good location at the Mylopotas. Easy to move around, best beach and great pool. Good music and nice vibes! Very cool staff and delicious pizzas! Good breakfast, enough to enjoy your pool hang or beach day.

The Ios Plage hotel is a small family-run hotel, ideally located on Mylopotas Beach on the island of Ios. It is just 2 meters from the bus stop serving the entire island of Ios, and 10 meters from the beach, right across from the famous Drakos tavern. The location was amazing. The staff was great. The pool was great and the loungers by the pool were awesome. My room had a balcony which had an amazing view. The room was spacious. They were accommodating and helped me to book a taxi to the port.

The Marcos Beach, as the name suggests is a 3 minute stroll to the most stunning beach. It is close to facilities and restaurants but offers tranquility in the evening and spectacular views across the bay. The family owners, Marcos, Jackie and Harry are warm, hospitable and went out of their way to accommodate our needs, including personalising our pillows. Harry collected us when we arrived at Ios port and dropped us back, even though it was an early ferry. They shared a wealth of knowledge about the area and their restaurant recommendations were spot on, offering great authentic Greek food at responsible prices in beautiful locations. The pool area was large with ample, free sun beds. There are many pogodas offering sofas to enjoy the vista as you eat breakfast or take in the sunset or have a drink at the bar! The room was always spotless and cleaned daily. We would definitely stay here again.This hotel is great for families, couples and friends who want to enjoy this amazing location.

The property was in a perfect location. It is a 3 minute walk from the beach, 2 min walk from a bus stop, 3 min bus into Chora (buses run regularly and late into the night and it was an easy walk back down the hill after a night out in the town). The property was clean, had a lovely pool, a good breakfast with fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, breads and cakes. The bedroom has the most beautiful view of the mountains and the beach which could be admired from the balcony. The bedroom was fairly spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a bar with a good choice of drinks, you can order toasties throughout the day. It is close by to many restaurants, water sports, ATV/moped rental places. I could not thank or ask for a better host than Jackie, Melina and the rest of the team. They were so welcoming, helpful and funny and it really was sad to leave. We would very much recommend and will be back!

The location of Marcos Beach Club was brilliant, with great chill out areas around the pool to enjoy the view. The staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful in organising ATV hire for us. The bar was super convenient and reasonably priced. It is very close to the beach and a short bus journey from the main town meaning it is very quiet at night. Would definitely stay again!

I had a truly enjoyable stay at Hotel Faros. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and tidied up daily — a nice touch that made the stay feel extra relaxing. The balcony was definitely the highlight. I loved having breakfast there in the morning and just sitting in the evenings, watching the ferries come and go. It was peaceful, cozy, and especially beautiful at night with the quiet surroundings and soft lighting. A perfect spot to unwind. The only downside was the bathroom — the shower tended to flood the floor, which was a bit inconvenient. But aside from that, everything else was great. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and charming place to stay.

The breakfast was good and plentiful. More than I could eat. On my last morning there, I had to get an early ferry. They made me a breakfast that morning that I could take on the ferry to eat and drink it. That was very nice and thoughtful. This is a family run hotel and all members were there and helpful. The room was clean. The dad even carried my luggage up the stairs for me. I was within short walking distance of the ferry, bus station, and beach.

Hotel Faros was a beautiful family run hotel, you felt at home. Anything you needed, Konstantina and the family were happy to help. They even provided us with an overview of the island when we arrived and let us check in an hour early. The location is great, a 5 minute walk to the port and a 2 minute walk to the bus stop. The room is deep cleaned everyday by the most lovely lady. Aircon works beautifully. Overall a beautiful hotel in ios.

Hotel Faros was a lovely choice on Ios island. The accomodation is close to the port and the beaches and the centre of the city can be reach in 10 mins walk. The owner family is the kindest we have ever met! they helped with everything, and they were super flexible on everything. The room and the hotel is super clean. Even the bus stop is close! Best choice!

The hotel is beautiful and homey at the same time. The family that owns it is wonderful, helpful and very welcoming. The rooms are adorably furnished and the terrace comes with a string to dry your clothes which is such a nice thought. Cleaning is done every day and the rooms are impeccable. Had such a wonderful stay and we really can't wait to come back.

Nissos Ios is perfectly located right by Mylopotas beach, enveloped by rugged and protective mountains, near several restaurants (do try the exquisite Bamboo Restaurant & Cocktail Bar just downstairs and Aloha for breakfast or lunch - a 1-minute walk away along the beach), supermarkets, a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute (€2.00) bus ride from Chora (the main town), and a 15-20-minute bus ride (also €2.00) from the Port - buses run until midnight. All you have to do is cross the road and you're at the fabulous Mylopotas beach with comfortable sunbeds, yellow sand, crystal clear emerald water and Mylopotas Water Sports (manned by the coolest team - check out their boat trips along the beaches of Ios for sure)). The hotel is run by the lovely Petros and his family. Petros was kind enough to pick me up from the Port upon my arrival and also provide transfer on my way out. He wants to make sure everyone has the best time. I had the perfect room (in the recently added wing of the hotel) with a double bed, and a small balcony providing the best of both worlds: an amazing view of both the mountain and the beach. The morning would carry the distant sounds of goats or sheep and their bells ringing. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in Ios, near the beach, Nissos Ios is the perfect choice - I had a wonderful time and would gladly visit again (and wish I could've stayed longer).

We had a fantastic stay at Nissos Ios. The hotel is very nice, and we were extremely happy with our experience. The staff were very nice and always willing to help whenever we had questions. Our room was spacious and featured a balcony with an amazing view, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing, situated right in front of Mylopotas Beach. This made it very convenient for us to enjoy the beach at any time. Additionally, the bus stop is very close, making it easy to explore the rest of the island. There are also plenty of restaurants, beach clubs, and supermarkets nearby, adding to the convenience and enjoyment of our stay. They also arranged a free hotel taxi to take us to the port which was very nice of them. We cannot say anything bad about our time at Nissos Ios, but we highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Ios :)

Perfect location, just in front of the beach. The beach is wide, with cristal blue water. You can see through and discover the underwater life. The staff was kind and put us in a room with a sea view, as we requested :) The hotel's restaurant is delicious. I recommend the beetruce salad. Beach beds are included in our package. The staff is very good and fluently speaking in English. The bus is very regular and comfortable. It takes you from the hotel to the city in less than 5 min, or to the port in 10 min, where you have bars, restaurants ... I recommend the hotel and the location.

Right next to myloptas, nissos ios is a wonderful small hotel, its beautiful design and architecture fit in perfectly with the breathtaking scenery. The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Access to the beach is great, offering very comfortable beds and umbrellas at competitive prices. The lack of some amenities allow it to offer prices suitable for all sorts of travellers, without sacrificing on all the necessary essentials. The absence of a restaurant/ bar is made up by there being one just beneath the hotel. Next to it the Padi diving centre offers great water sports options. Bus stop right at the entrance of the hotel.

The staff were amazing! They know you instantly and they prevented us missing our ferry when we'd overslept. The location is also perfect, right by the beach but down the quieter end and within walking distance of town for when the buses have stopped running. There is also a bus stop right at the end of the hotel - perfect for getting around, and you get sun beds on the beach included with the hotel room. The rooms are cleaned daily and are comfy and airy, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone going to Ios.

Perfect location, short walking distance from the port & right on the beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Around a 20 minute walk to centre of Chora. Nice quiet area. The staff were exceptional, friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were as pictured and we had a lovely balcony area. The pool was clean and the pool area was nice and private.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mare Monte hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, you couldn't get closer to the beach (very nice beach) and it was close to the port and quick drive to the city centre. The grounds of the hotel are also very nice, gorgeous flowers everywhere and a big pool with plenty of sun loungers. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself isn't perfect a little outdated and needs a slight tune up but honestly the was easy to look past with everything else it has. Definitely would recommend staying here if you visit Ios.

Location, pool, hotel, room, staff, all just amazing!! This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. The hosts were so lovely, kind and welcoming. The hotel was really nice and in a great location. It was right next to the beach and pretty central to the main city and the port. The room was really clean. I cannot recommend Mare Monte more. I will 110% be back in the future and I can’t wait for that !

The property was very well located, right opposite the beach and a short walk from the port which was very convenient when traveling from the ferry. There were restaurants on the street and heaps of good food options. It was also a short walk up to town or a bus could be taken alternatively. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The pool was lovely.

Waking up with an amazing view like this every morning is a little piece of paradise. You can order an amazing breakfast (pancakes, omelettes, yoghurt with fruit, iced coffees,…) for a very fair price and eat it poolside. Rooms are very clean and spacious! But the best thing about Golden Sun are the hosts who are so friendly and helpful with everything you need! When I arrived, I got all the information I needed (best beaches, activities, restaurants and bars) to have a great time in Ios. When the boat trip I booked got cancelled last minute, I called and they told me to go to a small beach nearby (which turned out to be an absolute gem: Kolitsani Beach). I can’t wait to stay at this place again!

My friend and I had a great stay here and overall the facilities were great. It is near Chora Main street, about a 20 min walk but only 5 mins on the bus which is right outside the complex. Nearest beach is also a 10 min walk. The main town was very busy while we stayed here but this hotel was really peaceful and quiet. Spacious hotel room, Air con, bar and a pool with a gorgeous pool. would deffo recommend staying here, especially for people who don’t want to stay somewhere too noisy. Staff were incredibly accommodating aswell.

Good location, only a 10-15 min walk to the main town. Amazing family run business so friendly and attentive. Simple food, but amazing for the price we paid. Pool and pool area was exactly like the photos and we loved it. Would 100% recommend.

Atmosphere: The biggest advantage of the Golden Sun hotel. From the very first moments, we did not feel like customers, but friends of the owner. Usually, check-in at the hotel involves checking the customer's ID and handing over the keys. In the Golden Sun, the owner gave us a few minutes to greet us and gave us a map with all the places we should visit on the island. He showed which beach is the best, where to go to watch the sunset, which restaurants have fresh fish, where is a cheap supermarket etc. It was the perfect guide to the island which we used the whole trip and we were delighted :) Location: Great! You can walk to the port and Chora, if you prefer the bus, the stop is literally at the hotel. Cleanliness: Impeccable! Everywhere clean, fragrant and pleasant. Room: We had a garden view, with a lovely terrace. Quiet with a picturesque view. Pool: Large with varying depths. With a beautiful view and plenty of sunbeds. The stay at Golden Sun was absolutely magical and special.

Overall our experience at golden sun was incredible and I highly recommend it for anyone staying on Ios. From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful in giving their knowledge of the area and marking out a map for us of things to do and places to eat etc. the room was excellent, very modern and spotlessly clean, also serviced every day to a high standard. The view from the balcony was very nice too. Staff at the hotel were so helpful, always checking to ensure we were having a good time and doing everything they could to improve our stay. The pool and bar are excellent, wonderful food and drinks. The location is great, an easy walk to town and the port too. This is easily the best place we have stayed on our trip so far, and should certainly be your first preference when booking accommodation on the island.

This is the dream place to stay what an amazing view of sea from the balcony in our bedroom! We liked the helpful receptionists, especially the lady, who was supportive, friendly, and an amazing host. We are deaf and use sign language. She understood how to communicate using visual sign language what she wanted to learn a few words how to use sign language.. Her attitude was very good! Our room was also stunning and breakfast was delicious. We brought breakfast to the table on our balcony in the bedroom. It was conveniently located opposite the sea, providing an amazing view! We were impressed with the good vibes and comfort of the place. It felt like home, made us completely comfortable. Wishing we could definitely be staying more days again but had to leave out to Paros. The hotel had a lovely location right across the beach and was surrounded by fantastic restaurants. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, as it deserves a spot in the top 10. We will definitely stay here back again. Thanks so much to the lady and family.

I loved everything about my stay here. the location and the view are perfect. the family run hotel is so charming, clean, sleek, and perfect. the breakfast was also excellent. this was the last of my five island two week summer trip and I could not have asked for a better end to my trip. I love the proximity to the beach just a few steps away. the sunset from the hotel was fantastic. drakos restaurant is right below (ate there three times), so good. also many restaurants very close by. it’s also right where the bus stops so take the bus from the ferry and back or hop on the bus to go to town. the beach also offers many water sport options. I booked a beach tour excursion, so nice to be so close to all you need while in Ios. lovely room. don’t hesitate to book this place.

This is absolutely the best place to stay on Ios island! The location is breathtaking and it’s perfectly situated at the end of of the beach, just outside the bus stop which made travel to and from the property easy. Our room had a spectacular view of the ocean and beach and everything we needed was short walk away. it’s a family run establishment and we loved our stay here. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Greece - the mom makes most things with fresh ingredients from their garden, the homemade jams, pastries etc were absolutely delicious and you can enjoy breakfast privately on your room balcony overlooking the ocean. The downstairs restaurant Drakos is also part of their family and serves excellent, fresh seafood. George and his family were amazing and so helpful in planning our stay. Psili Ammos is an absolute gem!

The location is enchanting and I recommend a swim off the rocks. From a distance, the wonderful live music from Harmony and Faros can be heard sitting on the balcony. In the late season, the winds blow a cooler breeze and it’s magical to sit at Drakos restaurant below wrapped in a shawl. My family got sick for a week during our stay and we got so much help from Rena and George and their parents who own and manage Psili Ammos. Both with getting medical aid and comfort during our week of frailty. This was my second stay but not the last.

Village Twins is run by a lovely local family (twin brothers, their wife’s and son). The owners were extraordinary kind we felt very much welcomed, almost part of the family. Rooms were cleaned every day, new towels were also provided and the owners kept a close eye on the noise level at the hotel. What’s left to say: Village twins is located right in the centre of IOS. Restaurants, bars, beaches, supermarkets and car rentals are in walking distance. If you are looking for an authentic stay on the cycladic island Ios, Village Twins should be your choice.

The property was at an excellent location short walk to the main village. Facilities were excellent and very clean. Most importantly the staff were AMAZING! A beautiful family who were so welcoming and accomodating. Yanis picked us up from the port and made arriving and leaving ios so smooth. Elias gave us the best recommendations about the island and we saw some amazing things because of him. I didn’t get the name of the mother but she made us beautiful breakfast with home made bread. Cant recommend this place enough and hope to stay here again.

They gave apricots from the tree at the hotel & free delicious cake too baked fresh by a lady there! great hospitality as the owner took me to port to drop me off after my stay (I didn’t realise I could have gotten picked up too at the port on arrival but I didn’t see the msg lol) . great views and also close to shops and bars restaurants!

This is the best place to stay in IOS, it is very close to the main town and to the beach. The owners are very nice and welcoming. We were a group of girls that wanted to go to the beach, far out and bars, so it was perfectly placed. Also the rooms are nice and clean and they gave us extra blankets when we asked. And the bus station (2 euros) was 2 min walk from village twin. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This was a great hotel. Yanni was an amazing host, he picked us up at the port, drove us through town making sure to highlight good food spots, walking paths and was over all very kind and helpful. The location is perfect right in the middle of the stunning beach just a 10 min walk down hill and a 4 min walk to the city centre. This hotel and host made our Ios trip, and we couldn’t not have been happier with our stay!

Evangalia was so kind on arrival at Almyriki offering to carry my rucksack to the apartment ( couldn't do that could I ) . I can honestly say that after travelling through Greece for 3 weeks now, this place is amazing. Perfectly clean, all the facilities that you need, WiFi spot on, never a problem. And then you open the twin patio doors and WOW the view of the beach, the mountains behind and to the side where each morning you sit on the Perfectly laid porcelain patio with coffee in hand watching the goats with bells around their necks going about their business - just paradise. Very comfortable double bed in a lovely sized room beautifully decorated. Rain shower perfect, lots of hot water on tap. Had a quad bike for 3 days and to be honest a set of wheels makes life easier but a 10 minute walk to Chora is a breeze. Great location. Evangalia even did my washing for me and refused to take any payment. Good luck to you and the business. I would say one of the best accommodation on Ios. Ps : loved the black cat and gave him a little saucer of milk each morning. 🤣

Everything was perfect, I can’t recommend it enough! The apartment was neat (cleaned on daily basis) and the room + bed were super comfortable. AC worked perfectly. The views were spectacular both from the room and from the balcony. In terms of location, we couldn’t have asked for better as it was in between Mylopotas (main beach) and Chora (town). There is also a bus stop right in front of the apartment complex which facilitated our transport around the island. Parking was also available in the apartment complex. Evangelia (the host) was super lovely, helpful and very welcoming. She made our stay even better and ensured we had all we needed and recommended us to the very best places in the island. Again, couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Almyriki was such a great place to stay. I was only the for 2 nights and felt like I was there for a week as the space and host Evangelia made me feel very welcomed and relaxed. I would totally recommend choosing it as a place to stay if you are in to beautiful sea views and a relaxing time. The location is very close to the chora and port and a few minutes away from the beach. Thank you for having me!

The view of Mylopotas beach was amazing within walking distance to both the beach and the village chora with the bus stop being at across the accommodation making it easy to get from place to place. The room was very spacious, large shower, balcony with seating, a small kitchen and space to hang clothing and luggage. The host was super accommodating and friendly and provided us with information about the island and what to do. Would 100% come back to this accommodation.

Brand new extremely spacious apartment finished to a very high standard, modern decor, utterly quiet location (no noise whatsoever) stunning view overlooking Mylopotas beach given its location on the hillside. Very regular cheap (1.60 euro) and reliable bus service to and from the beach and main town every 20 minutes, stopping in front of the accommodation so no need to walk anywhere should you wish ! Large terrace. Very friendly , kind and helpful host. Could not recommend highly enough.

There were many positives about our stay at Deep Blue Rooms. The rom itself was very comfortable, clean, and functional. Although our balcony only had a side view of the beach and water, it also gave us a wonderful view of local life, complete with grazing sheep. The staff was excellent, as were the complimentary breakfasts. Staff even provided transportation to the ferry port. The location of Deep Blue is another positive. It is located right in the middle of the beach area, yet it is just a few meters behind the main road and bars/restaurants, so it was more quiet. Bus service in and out of town was convenient and rather inexpensive, so exploring the town and its shops and restaurants was convenient. Ios is a beautiful Greek Island without the crowds of cruise travelers, yet full of blue and white joy, great beaches, and more, and Deep Blue Rooms is a wonderful place to stay while enjoying it all.

We love this place so much, from the pick-up, breakfast and great location, especially the family let us feel so warm and welcome, it is less than a min walk to the beach, if you walk on the main street, at your right end (a sushi restaurant) you can find a path to walk about 20 min to Chora(the main city in Ios)with beautiful cliff view. we feel lucky to have the chance to stay in ios with a beautiful experience and memory. highly recommend.

We loved our room, it was spacious with a large terrace overlooking the beautiful Mylopotas Beach. The room is equipped with cooking supplies and even a moka pot, we only stayed for 2 days but you could stay here comfortably for weeks. The location was excellent and walking distance to restaurants and the beach, and it was easy to take the bus up to the old Chora. Lastly, be sure to enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning prepared by the lovely staff :)

We stayed only one night at Deep Blue Hotel but the welcome was warm and friendly. The room had everything we needed, very clean and with a modern air conditioner that worked perfectly. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, perfect to start the day. The hotel is just a couple steps from the beach and set back from the main road, so it’s nice and quiet. Amazing value for money, highly recommended!

excellent location. walk a minute to the beautiful Mylopotas beach. Several restaurants all in the area and also a market. you can find a scooter rental close by and water tours and water equipment rentals too. Plus we were picked up and dropped off at the port by the owner. And last but not least, the owners were very friendly and the breakfast was filling and delicious.

We loved everything about this hotel. We loved it so much we extended our stay here. The rooms are beautiful and it is in a perfect location, right on Milopotas beach. The pool is gorgeous and has a full bar, loads of sun loungers, tables and chairs and a big outdoor beach bed with a canopy. When you walk out of the hotel you are right on the beach, next to loads of restaurants, shops and the bus stop or you can walk into the town. The view from the pool at night is stunning when the pool is all lit up. We loved our stay here so much and we can’t wait to come back here, we can’t thank the family who run the hotel enough for their kindness and hospitality.

This is the BEST place to stay at family owned Hotel Aegeon! What an amazing view, a wonderful hotel with a few palm trees, a great pool outside, and the barkeep guy was so nice and friendly. He even picked us up with a transfer taxi, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. His father Nikos was accompanied by their two lovely sons, adding to the friendly environment. We are Deaf and use sign language. They understood how to communicate using visual sign language. Their attitude was very good. We liked the helpful receptionists, especially Nikos, who was supportive, friendly, and an amazing host. Our room was also nice it was located conveniently opposite the swimming pool. We were impressed with the good vibes and comfort of the place. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, as it deserves a spot in the top 10 plus 1. It's worth the money, and wishing we could definitely be staying here more days again. It felt like home because Nikos welcomed us with open arms and ensured we had a great time during our stay it made us completely comfortable. Also the barkeep guy made great cocktails, and they were worth the price. It was affordable and provided good value for money. Lovely family run hotel right next to the beach. Owner & his sons made us feel welcome straight away, picked us up from the ferry terminal. Welcomed by owner as soon as we arrived. We paid extra for breakfast which we had each morning overlooking the pool. Pool is lovely size for the size of hotel, never had any problems getting a sunbed. Hotel is located along beachfront where there are several restaurants. To go to the golden sandy beach just have to cross the road. We had wonderful stay at Hotel Aegeon.

Lovely family-run hotel, great staff. Always ready for a friendly chat and will help in any way possible. Location is superb. Directly beside the beach and close to the regular bus into the town. Also right beside a mini mart and bakery, as well as several restaurants. Loved the pool and the bar by the pool.

We came over from Santorini for a 1 night stay and chose this lovely family-run gem in Ios. Located right next to the beach. We had a double room overlooking the pool and beach which was immaculately clean, comfortable and with a spacious balcony. The family were friendly and helpful especially Costas who was absolutely delightful. The pool area was spotless with plenty of beds, sunshine all day and a well stocked bar at very reasonable prices. They arranged transfers to and from the port at a good price. We were able to use the facilities after we had checked out. We were within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants along the beach and right next to the bus stop (1,6 euros in to town). Buses run every 15 minutes. The bakery next door was lovely. We will be back.

We had a wonderful room — the window opened to a blooming bougainvillea tree, and when the wind blew, petals would float right into the room. The beach is just a few minutes’ walk away — quiet, sandy, with clear water and no waves. There are also many great restaurants nearby. If you’re looking for a place that’s simple, warm, and full of heart — I highly recommend it

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The hosts Bernice and her son, Andreas were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout my stay. The accommodation itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The overall ambiance was peaceful and quiet—the luscious garden was beautiful. One of the highlights was the location—conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, yet tucked away enough to offer privacy and tranquility. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, hassle-free stay. Thank you for such a memorable experience! I stayed around 10 days in the upper room with balcony and sea view. The rooms are super clean, I'd say the cleanest on my Cyclades island hopping trip. The housekeepimg lady is also such a warm-hearted and lovely person. You can get your room cleaned every day if you please and change towels. The bed is big and super comfy; the bathroom spacious and clean. I loved the inbuilt big shower and the very strong water pressure to wash my long thick hair properly. This is usually a challenge. Staying at Galinis was location-wise the best choice (close to port, beaches, supermarket, cafés, little "hikes") and I couldnt have asked for nicer people running the place. I highly recommend this place and would always return end of high season/off season Sep/Oct because it was the perfect time to come.

It was far enough from the port for a relaxing holiday. No noise it was peaceful at all times. We had a great view of the sea, we had requested this. Bernice and her son Andraus went far beyond to give us a memorable holiday. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily. Fresh towels every day. If you like cats you’ll love this property and the owners take good care of them. I’d read reviews about Galini but it’s not until you stay there you realise what a gem it is. Bernice is both friendly and accommodating, as is her son. We left feeling refreshed and totally relaxed

The location and view from our room was breathtaking. We took the seaside view in room 18. Very nice and quiet area if you don’t want to stay in the city Center. Our room was taken care of daily by the amazing and friendly staff. The facilities very extremely clean. Our bed was very comfortable. We had never experienced a pension quite like this one and we can’t wait to come back soon! I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quieter spot by the beach and port (10min). Thank you to all the staff who made our time on Ios so special.

Staying here was very special. The Hotel is on a beautiful , long, beach with all the colour blues you can imagine in the water. Lovely for swimming and snorkelling and walking. I came with two teenagers and they loved the time in the water under the sun. Watersports right there if you wanted it and a lovely seafood restaurant nearby. At midday when it is best to stay out of the sun we relaxed in the dining area/ lounge or outside under umbrellas playing cards and enjoying the sea breeze. All just bliss. Beautiful breakfast, one can sit inside overlooking the ocean or outside and soak up the view. Dimitri and his staff are so friendly and kind, genuinely caring from the heart, one feels so welcome . I will hold this experience close in the coming months when I am back at work. I totally recommend this Hotel if you want to relax in Ios and if you like the sun and the blue ocean and warm-hearted people.

We stayed at Hotel Gorgona in Ios looking for a simple and authentic Greek experience, and it turned out to be beyond our expectations. The property has an excellent location, with terraces overlooking the beautiful Mylopotas beach – a view worth the trip on its own. Just a few steps from our room we had everything we could ask for: the best fish taverna on the island, boat tours, great beach clubs, and the bus stop to the port and Chora. Everything was within walking distance, peaceful and stress-free. Breakfast was another highlight, with simple but high-quality products that made every morning enjoyable. Most of all, Margherita and the owner Dimitri were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making us feel at home from the very first moment. If you are looking for a genuine, simple, and relaxing stay in the true Greek atmosphere, Hotel Gorgona is the perfect choice.

We had six fantastic days at Gorgona. It is located on the beach at the far end of Mylopotas. There is a bus stop directly outside. It is close to Far Out beach club and some restaurants but is not noisy. Our room was beautifully decorated and came with a large balcony. The air conditioning worked fantastically well so it was easy to cool off after a long day at the beach. The owner was very nice and came to our rescue when our door got stuck. I would highly recommend Gorgona to anyone who wants to be close to the beach without paying a fortune.

Wow. Stunning stunning stay. Huge compliments to the staff. So welcoming, communication through out the booking process was excellent. Very friendly on arrival and during our stay. Really can’t praise enough. The accommodation was equally as amazing. We toured the island on bikes and this hotel I would say has the best location. The views are amazing. It’s on the Beach but offset at the end of the beach so it’s not busy. The views are stunning. There is a restaurant below that offers great service and food. Just an all round awesome stay. Wish it could have been longer.

It is very clean and comfortable, also nice sea view from the rooms. The location is great, at one end of the Mylopotas Beach that is not so commercial and crowded like the opposite end. The sand is also finer next to this property. I enjoyed particularly in the morning coming out of the room and getting directly on the beach for a swim or walk before breakfast. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A car parking and the bus station are right outside the property.

The rooms are functional, very clean and are equipped with A/C, a fridge and working Wifi. The beds are very comfortable and there also bigger rooms for more people. Some of the rooms have a very nice view with Santorini in the background. The family running the hotel is very friendly and will pick you up and bring you back to the port, free of charge as well as provide you with great tips what to visit in Ios. You're in good hands here :) I'm very happy to come back every time again.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond. we were picked up at the port and on the ride to the hotel, the host gave us great recommendations for 2 restaurants, The Nest and Saffran. Both restaurants were so delicious! We booked a room with 4 single beds and upon arrival the host was nice enough to give us 2 twin rooms for the same price which was really nice to have more space! On our departure day, the host was nice enough to drive us back to the port to catch our ferry. I recommend anyone who is looking to go to Ios to book at Village Twins!

I had a wonderful stay at Village Twins Hotel in Ios, Greece. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the local shops, bus and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The restaurant served very affordable delicious breakfast and was very convenient. Free shuttle to and from the ferry was very ideal and easy. Overall, I highly recommend Village Twins Hotel for anyone looking for enjoyable stay in Ios.

We loved everything about this village twins! The family that runs it are so kind and helpful. The location was perfect as it’s on the edge of town so still close but not right in the noise of it all. We could walk down to Mylopotas beach and catch the bus back super easy. The room was so clean and the balcony was beautiful. The transfers to/from the port were so helpful, as well as being able to leave our bags at reception when needed.

We arrived late and we were able to do a late check in too which was amazing! The rooms were clean and had amazing views of the town. We got lots of recommendations for what to do around Ios which we definitely we took on board. A ride to the port in the morning was a big plus!

Absolutely stunning villa run by the most welcoming and lovely family! Our group would go back in a heart beat. They went above and beyond to help our group with everything! The recently renovated rooms were spacious and had great aircon from the ios heat. The pool area was fantastic for relaxing and all only a short walk away from the beach. The location is great, near enough to walk to and from the port/restaurants and bars but far away enough to fully relax. Could not recommend enough!

Everything ! Marussa, Adonis and their daughters are very welcoming, smilling and caring. If you are looking for a beautifull hotel/bed and breakfast, very close from the port of Ios (10 minutes walking with big luggages), very chill, quiet, cute (we loved all the small details). With a lovely swimming pool to breath and relax, you should book! Two sisters travelling, felt very secured, and welcomed on a great island where you can do many things (turquoise water beaches, renting scooters to discover, deicious Greek food) etc

We had an amazing time in the Villa and the owners Maria and Antonis where very welcoming and very charming hosts ! You can ask anything they are here to help ! We loved everything about Blue Sky! The staff were incredibly nice and friendly! We were picked up from the port which was a major help as it's about a 10 - 15 minute drive from the port. We were checked in early and our room was right next to the pool with such a great view! The pool was amazing! It was a big infinity pool with very cold temperature and lounge beds to soak up the sun. There is a bar next to the pool which played relaxing and chill beats throughout the day. Our bed was very comfortable and the airconditioning worked great. Our room was cleaned daily which was a bonus. There was a kitchenette with a stove to boil water and a fridge to keep drinks cool. Great location to the main part of town. Very informative, local and helpful host who was able to organise transport for us too.

Incredible ocean view, especially from the infinity pool which was amazing. Lit up at night which was the cherry on top. Little pool bar with drinks and some food if you just want to chill out for a while. Room was clean and offered daily tidying as needed. AC worked well and shower had nice hot water. Hosts were super friendly and easily available for any questions or suggestions. Offered free pickup and drop off from the port. Amazing dog on property who loves belly rubs! Public bus stop just steps away, or 10-15 minute walk into Chora town with majority of restaurants. Very easy to get around the island by bus. Overall amazing value and would love to stay here again.

This hotel has the best view on Ios, lots of sun hours for the pool, great food at the bar and perfect room service. We really enjoyed our stay and Marousa was very kind to get and bring us back to the Port. I really could relax and enjoy this stay and I can definitely recommend this hotel for the best overall experience. It's five minutes walking to the city centre Chora and 10minutes walking to Milopotas beach. The pool and rooms are very new and renovated and everything was as seen on the photos. Definitely my best stay on booking overall, 10/10.

I can’t recommend this location enough. To say I would tell my friends to stay here would be an understatement. It was my first time traveling outside of America and instead of saying I’ll go back to Greece again is also another understatement, I’ll go back to this accommodation on IOS. It was a 10 minute walk to the right for the beach and a 10 minute walk into town for dinner and nightlife. The host was amazing. It was always clean. The pool was amazing and you’re able to get cocktails, coffee, sodas, and sandwiches at the little bar next to the pool. I will be back as soon as possible

Maroussa and her entire family were brilliant!! They picked us up from the port and took us to their hotel and dropped us off back off again. The views are some of the best in Ios. The balconies of rooms offer beautiful views. The facilities were great. We stayed in the new rooms which were very comfortable with all the amenities you need. The infinity pool was a welcoming and very beautiful and pleasant surprise. We travelled all the way from perth with my family and we could not have felt more welcomed or looked after. If you are in this part of the world a visit to this place will not disappoint you.

The view of Ios was incredible! The hotel rooms were comfortable and the pool and pool bar was great. Amazing cocktails, happy hour and really good food if you want to stay at the hotel rather than go into town. We had breakfast included in our booking and it was a great variety. All the staff were so kind and accomodating also. They also run the Mills restaurant which is close nearby and after being in Greece for almost a month it was hands down the best moussaka we have had. Highly recommend also.

The staff was super nice. The room was really clean and the shower was so nice. Amazing pool in the summer time and great cocktails by the pool. Had a massage at the spa and it was amazing. Got a ride to the port after my stay which is a big bonus. Could not have been happier.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous clean rooms and a fabulous pool with a pool bar. Staff were really nice and accommodating, giving us a lift down to the port to catch our ferry. I would definitely recommend staying here

So we were there in a heat wave, but the fact that the a/c could only be turned on when the room key was in the wall and the room was closed made it almost unbearable while waiting to cool down. I lived the energy conservation - but getting to sleep was hard. That won't be the case unless in a heat wave. Location is likely good for breeze. Best view, close to town. Lived our stay. Great pool and pool bar.

Great view, room needs a little TLC shower screen didn’t fit so water went everywhere. Owners are lovely and trying to do well, but told us we could get breakfast across the road and use the pool, we were met with lady telling us sternly that we had to pay 5 euros each for the use of the pool, it did include a drink tho and breakfast was 9 euros each so we didn’t bother with either. The stay was ok, maybe we were a bit early in the season. Meals were a available across the road but we chose to walk about 15 mins into Chora.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Perfect location and perfect rooms with beautiful views outside of the surrounding area. We slept for quite some time after a long ferry in the comfy beds. The island is a bit quieter than some of the others I visited which was a plus as well, and the hotel is tucked into the perfect location. The owner of this hotel went above and beyond. We conversed, and he checked in on how we were doing several times while passing by. This place is family run and care is put into the guests and the way in which the place is run, managed, and maintained. The owner very kindly insisted on taking us to the port as well in the morning. He was genuinely very kind, as was his son. Thanks for making our stay genuine and pleasant!! If we ever return to Ios, we know we have a place to stay.

Lovely and quiet hotel close to both the beach and the chora. The room was very comfortable and clean, nicely located on a teraace with a beautiful view of the sea. The hotel is really close to the main beach Mylophotas (8 minutes walking) and the chora (10 minutes walking), and there is also a bus stop only 1 minute walking from the property. There is also the possibility to have breakfast at the hotel right in front of Pelagos, which I absolutely recommend because there is a great variety of choice and it takes place on a terrace with a breathtaking view on the sea! Christopher, the host, and his family are lovely and they will make you feel the typical warm hospitality of the Greek people! They are very kind and available and helped with everything from the beginning to the end of the holiday. If I'll ever go back to Ios, I will surely choose Pelagos again!

Our stay at Pelagos Studios was wonderful. We were warmly welcomed by the most adorable child at reception and experienced impeccable, friendly service throughout our visit. Even after we checked out, they went above and beyond by delivering my forgotten shoes to the port (thanks again!!!). The hotel was perfect for our needs, ideally located between the beach and the main town, Chora. Everything was within walking distance, but when we felt a little lazy, the bus stop right outside was a great convenience. The real highlight, though, was the view. Each level featured massive verandas with breathtaking sea and island views — truly unforgettable. Thank you for an amazing stay. We absolutely loved our time here.

I loved that they allowed me to check in early as I got off my ferry at 8am. I checked in at 11am because they hurried to clean the room for me which I appreciated x They upgraded my room for free which was so generous. They helped with any queries I had. I thought it was also such a good location, only a 10 minute walk down the steps/hill to Mylopotas beach using the shortcut or 10 min walk into the main village. It had a beautiful view of the coast! The room itself had everything you need and the aircon was really good!

The apartment was great if you are travelling with a group of friends. There was 4 of us including myself (all 20 y/o females) and we all stayed in the one apartment. It had a good lock and felt safe. It was a very social apartment with a small pool and outdoor seating which was great for socialising with other young travellers. The owner was lovely! Very welcoming and friendly, he offered to pick us up from the port and back but we decided to walk. VERY BAD IDEA - we all had backpacks and the apartment is located at the very top of a hill with lots of stairs. On my maps on my phone it said it was only a 15 minute walk but I would most definitely recommend getting the bus/ booking a taxi/ accepting the offer of a lift from the owner. It has a few 4 sun loungers by the pool which were usually unoccupied until later on in the day as most people were presumably too hungover to get out their bed's which was fine with me as I was usually up by then. It is located near a main strip of shops, restaurants ect.

We really felt that Andreas + Betty (owners) made us feel at home. They were so willing to help in every way and we felt they really cared. They gave us lots of tips for around town also! We absolutely loved the pool out the front. We used it every afternoon for drinks and nibbles. La Luna is in a perfect location - close to both beach and party. Highly recommend to everyone staying in Ios.

A very well priced, relaxing, clean and central stay in Ios. The hosts were so kind and attentive. Would recommend for anyone coming to Ios. The pool is a godsend during the summer!!

La Luna is in the perfect location to explore Ios- 2 minute walk from the Bus stop and Mini Market, 10 minute walk from the centre of town and 15 minutes from the beautiful Kolitsani beach. Our room was always spotless and very comfortable. The best part of La Luna was the staff! Whilst staying there Andreas, Maria and Margaríta felt like second family to us! They were so friendly and helpful in every way, Margaríta and Maria even removed a ring that was stuck on my finger for me. I can’t recommend La Luna enough and I will definitely be returning next time I visit Ios. Luna the cat is also adorable but be careful if you pet her too much she might dribble on you! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay ❤️

Very friendly owner and staff. We had a problem with A/C in our room on our arrival, and they immediately offered us a different room. The beach was amazing, sundbeds were free and comfortable. The location of Venus is away from crowds and any villages, but this is exactly what we were looking for. Have in mind that the closest shops are like 25 min driving by car 😉

Relaxing So quiet Anna and Sakis are such friendly hosts and do anything for you to make you stay so relaxing and comfortable. The accommodation is truly lovely and what I like to see in traditional Greek environment having travelled to Greece so many times.

I chose Almira Inn as my base for an extended stay on Ios. From the Go-Get, the owner / manager Nikos was a superb communicator. During my stay Nikos did everything he could to ensure my stay was a happy one. His hospitality was Seven Star. This hotel is well located in the bijou port of Ios with an excellent local beach and great bars, eateries, bakery, supermarket and car rental outlets. There is a bus stop nearby for the local bus that takes you up to the Chora for the nightlife or over to Mylopotas Beach. The rooms at Almira Inn are refreshed daily and delicious marble cake is gifted to the guests. I enjoyed my stay at Almira because I felt native and made lots of lovely friends. Thank you Nikos, Ada and Ina for your great kindness and happy memories at Almira Inn.

The best part is the personal in reception, he is a friendly person, so nice and generous, we have our ferry 23 PM and he let us be in the room more time, and keep our luggage. The room is big, and comfortable, the bed was soft, all was.clean, and perfect, the bathroom had personal articles, slippers, towels and dryhair. They give us coffee, the and sugar in our room, and 2 cake slide 💕 was delicious!!!!! The location is 5 minutes walking to the port, so if you travel in ferry is perfect, 1 minute to bus stop to Chora, and near to restaurants, supermarket and beach. I hope in the future back to this place, I really appreciate the treatment and hospitality to the people in this Hotel and the city in general

We had an incredible stay at Almira Inn in Ios, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We stayed for 4 nights, and everything exceeded our expectations. The place was impeccably clean, with attention to detail in every corner. Nikos, the host, truly goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a wonderful experience. Every morning, he prepared a delicious breakfast for everyone, and the highlight was definitely the cake he made—it was absolutely amazing! Nikos’ care and dedication to the inn are evident in every aspect of the stay. If you’re visiting Ios, Almira Inn is the perfect place to stay.

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The staff were very nice and even greeted us with some pound cake inside the room hahaha. The inn is right beside the port, which was super convenient for us when we checked out super early to catch our ferry. Transport is very easy as there is a bus station super close to the Inn right beside the port. From my knowledge, public transport in Ios is not available 24/7 so this is a very convenient option in case you need to catch a ferry early in the morning.

The staff here were great they took our bags to our room and provided us with fresh cake each morning! The balcony was huge and we sunbathed on it one the days as it was the perfect sun trap, the location was perfect, it was 2 minutes from the bus stop that takes you all over the island! The room was also extremely clean and always smelled amazing after the cleaner had been in

Farout is an amazing place to relax by the pool during the day, and they also serve very good food for purchase. The bartenders and DJs were fantastic! The only downside was one lady serving the food who was quite rude at first, but in the end, we just laughed about it. Sunbeds on the beach are paid, but sunbeds by the pool are free – definitely a big plus. There’s plenty to do in the area, the town is beautiful and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Had cheap accom options which was nice. we just had the 3 person shack with the aircon and that was perfect for two people. the toilet blocks were as you would expect out of a toilet block we ate there a couple of times and the portions were large and decent free sun beds around the pool big bean bags if you just want to chill or good tunes all day if you want to get loose. next door is the restaurant with another pool if you want a quieter experience. the beach is right infront of the club as well as the bus so transport is a breeze. the free shuttle from the ferry was a treat aswell. the staff (especially behind the bar) were good value. chucking some euros in the tip jar made for an even funner experience

Amazing location, a free drop-off service from the port which was awesome and something we hadn’t experienced throughout Europe. The facilities are great (pool areas are big and it’s clean here too). So much fun staying here too - quite a young crowd. The staff are super lovely too, I wasn’t well when arriving and they helped me out and went out of their way to be accomodating.

The best hostel I’ve stayed at by far! Even though I chose the camping option, it was very comfortable and the tent and washrooms were very clean. Very nicely situated, with busses continually running by, parties on the pool are fun and end at a reasonable time, and staff are accommodating. I also liked that they provided free shuttle service from the port.

I was in a permanent tent. Ideal budget wise and great pool and beach access. I even had a swim at midnight. Bus stop outside with a regular bus and only 2 euro to town or port. Breakfast onsite was a great start to the day. The whole vib was great for relaxing and chilling. Great holiday.
