It was an amazing experience even for 1 night stay. From the moment of arrival to the checkout, the service was marvelous, the Rain-forest Villa was exquisite. I like the bathroom and the overall villa layout very much ! Breakfast was served in the villa, we felt like a royal for a day! Too bad it was raining season me and my son had just enough time to swim in the family pool before it rained. I wish to stay in the private pool villa some other time in the future.

We all love the nature (especially the wild animals) surrounding The Datai as well as its seclusion. To see a family of monkeys parading on the wall everyday and hornbills visiting you was such an experience. It also enables you to learn more about the rainforest. Because the children were in bed by 7.30pm we ordered the food from the restaurants to our room so that we could still eat together as a family. The food was exceptional - we think so anyway. The choices of our villa’s own private pool, the children’s/family pool and the sea means that the children spent both mornings and afternoons in outdoor water which was real treat for them.

From the moment we step into the property, I felt like I was transformed into another world of lush tropic jurrasic world. I remember saying it out loud, Is this heaven. The check in was fast, we were given map and explanation of the property by Zul (i cant remember) and nice welcome drink in a Malay traditional water container called Labu by Ain. Then we brought our welcome drink to the pool. The pool staffs are all friendly & amazing! We love the adult pool so much and spent most of our time swimming with the birds who flew for a dip in the pool after flying in the sun! Now the Datai Bay private beach, the Butterfly Park, the Datai Pledge team lead by Irshad Mobarak did an awesome job with the biodiversity project. I just hope there are more plants at the Botani Butterfly Park. We also want to try the Complimentary Water Sports activities, yoga, pilates, spa , cooking class, the beach educational program on Tuesdays and so much more! We end our day with a scrumptious Beef Ribs Rendang and signature Asam Pedas at The Gulai House! Azlan host us pretty well at the Gulai House. We wish to be back for their Chef Series with Michelin Star chefs series! I am so happy with my stay. The Datai, youre above and beyond magical!

Just book The Datai! I recently spent 10 unforgettable nights at The Datai—3 nights in a Rainforest Pool Villa and 7 nights in a Beach Front Pool Villa—and I didn’t want to leave. The outstanding service truly enhanced my stay—especially Rajat, who went above and beyond by facilitating our move to the Beach Front Pool Villa. If your budget permits, this upgrade is an absolute must! A huge thank you goes to Azhari, Adib, Sitina, Daba, and Natsaya for their outstanding service at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our butlers, Nashif and Ronald, were fantastic, and Khum at the security post always greeted everyone with a big smile and a friendly wave. I’m also grateful to Rajib for retrieving my three diamond rings that I’d left at the spa, and to Nisa and Joanna at the spa for a truly divine experience. Another highlight was learning about the local wildlife—Dev, Ritz, and Hame shared so much fascinating insight into the area’s fauna and marine life, making even the scorpions a memorable aspect of our stay! A special shout-out to Ashicor for driving my 5 and 7 year old sons around in the buggy whenever he had a spare moment—they said it was their favorite part of The Datai! Bring your kids to The Datai, they’re welcomed with open arms, kept safe, and there’s plenty of fun to be had. After a 10-year gap between visits, I won’t wait that long again. Congratulations to The Datai for an exceptional experience!

We stayed for a week and time flew by so quickly as we were so impressed and amazed by the service, environment, food and most of all the natural surroundings which were so amazingly blended together with everything The Datai had to offer. The first thing one would notice open arrival to the resort is how clean and well kept the property is and you never really see staff cleaning day in and out. No matter where you are around the resort, there's always someone ready to reach out to you. Ice creams by the pool, water sports, delicious cocktails, sumptuous food are the few things they do so well naturally. When it comes to food, they are second to none. Whether it's Thai at the Pavilion, Grill at Beach Club or a variety of curries and rendang at The Gulai House; you'll have a hard time finding something you don't like. Bfast was something we looked forward to each morning. The best locals offer like Roti Canai and Fried Noodles to Foie Gras on toast to perfectly made French Toast. 7 nights felt like 3. The rooms were always so clean. For a frequent traveller, you can tell the amount of detailing in the little things like your room amenities which are eco friendly, the scent of your bath soap and shampoo to the slippers you were offered which are not the boring white ones you get in all other hotels. How do they keep the place so clean and smelling so good all the time? We are so amazed. On the day we checked out, we already made plans to return at the next holiday. TQ to TDL.

Room - bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room temperature perfect. Breakfast - Variety of foods to choose from and the staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Pool - The pool was clean, and the poolside snacks were fabulous. Restaurant - The piano player was an added bonus.

Pool is amazing, sooooo relaxing! Service is superb. Amazing pool set up with buzzers for waiter service to your lounger, pool bar, nice towels and not overcrowded.

Stayed 5 nights in a princess beach villa and on the whole excellent service, with one or two things that let it down - we asked for a table to be reserved at the Terrace but it wasn’t made and upon appearing for dinner, no table for us, hastily thrown together which was very disappointing, and a bit embarrassing having to ask for condiments, cutlery etc. Beach villa was lovely esp the pool, not cheap but worth it for the peace and privacy. In room dining was good and arrived quickly, not an extensive choice but good enough. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The buffet dinner was also varied and hot, with an excellent range of cuisines. Mini bar topped up daily, but fresh milk needs requesting if you enjoy tea/coffee. Our arrived in a tiny jug, but that was solved by requesting a whole carton instead. Two sun beds reserved in the beach for each villa which was lovely at the end of the afternoon. We didn’t use the main pool but it was always busy. The hotel has a range of trips and experiences on offer but we sourced our own. Staff very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, although we did need to chase up some items of laundry, not a big deal. Taxis/Grab easily available, the SkyCab is close and very enjoyable. On the whole, it was very enjoyable and relaxing with one or two things that let it down for us. Not the cheapest hotel on the island but for a treat, it met our needs despite one or two issues. We would return without a doubt.

This is a beautiful hotel and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Our luggage was lost by the airline for 2 days and they couldn't do enough to try and help us track it down and make our stay as comfortable as possible in the meantime. The island is beautiful but has clearly been impacted by COVID, we expected shops and restaurants to be in walking distance of the hotel but in reality your only choices are to eat at the hotel or travel to other nearby hotels to eat in their restaurants if you want a bit of variety. The food in the hotel is excellent, even the buffet is very good quality and plenty of choice to cater for all tastes. The hotel is very popular with families so is not ideal for couples as there is no dedicated adults only pool, meaning you don't get much peace and quiet relaxing by the main pool. The hotel could also do more to be environmentally friendly, eg installing water refill points instead of handing out hundreds of plastic bottles. Overall a lovely stay and definitely recommended if you're visiting Langkawi

The overall experience is pretty amazing. The room is very comfortable and the private pool is great if you have kids tagging along.The food is exceptionally good all-round. We have breakfast, rood service and order from Pantai grill. All are of high quality.

The room was fantastic. It was noted as a "plunge" pool, but it was much larger. The set-up was great - no need to leave our area. The breakfast was great - lots of variety. The thing that sets this resort a part is the staff. They were all exceptionally kind and helpful. Really made for a wonderful stay.

Excellent, sprawling property with vast, expansive and beautiful beach. Very low density development, so never feels crowded. Three excellent restaurants, especially the Indian restaurant (Hava) was the best for us. Service is excellent - they are willing to go the extra mile with a smile! The beach villa with plunge pool is directly on the beach - this is the best way to enjoy this gem of a property.

The beach and the view is absolutely amazing. We stayed for nights and the breakfast was amazing although it can feel a bit repetitive after the 2nd day. They do change some of the dishes though. The staffs behavior are on another level. Extremely welcoming very warm and very helpful. Both of our kids (8G and 10B)also had an amazing time. They were either cycling (complimentary) or at the kids pool, which by the was very safe and did not need any supervision or they were busy at the kids club which is supervised by their lovely staff. Then we also had dinner by the beach, the food was simply outstanding just wish we could have enjoyed the food but couldn't due to mosquitos and insects biting on us. Hopefully the concern department can take care of this issue. They have two pools one is dedicated to adults only and then there is the family pool. I honestly loved the idea of having a private cavana right infront of the pool. You can lovedovey and all romantic with the missus all in your own little private area where no one can peek. We really enjoyed it.

Peacefulness, quiet, calm, luxury comfort but not over the top. No sensory over load, no loud music in breakfast area/restaurants/pools, but good taste and beauty in terms of architecture, decor, colouring, materials, landscaping, service. No cars. There are langur monkeys and lovely birds just outside your room. It is not crowded, but secluded and atmospheric. Upper room with sea view was beautiful with an indoor jacuzzi, superb bed and bathroom. Even though the same building has four units, no sounds or disturbance can be heard from the neighbours. Service was great, respectful and considerate. The area is vast and there are bicycles to get around. Tennis court is great, with the possibility to borrow the rackets and balls. Spa looked great, though I didn't use it at the end. Food in Ikan Ikan was very tasty. Can recommend also the in-room dining burger, but not the pizza. Drinking water is complementary and available at the room, pools, gym.

My wife and I spent four unforgettable nights at Parkroyal Langkawi as part of our honeymoon, and it was easily the best hotel experience we've ever had. We booked the Private Pool Ocean View Room, which was absolutely exceptional. They left us a complimentary cake with a very nice message and a flower for our honeymoon as well as room decorations, we loved the small gesture. The view from our private pool opened directly onto the ocean, allowing us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening in complete privacy—an experience we’ll never forget. The room aside, the entire hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Everything was spotless, and it’s clear the hotel takes great pride in maintaining its facilities. While we didn’t use the main infinity pool, it looked amazing and also offers a beautiful ocean view. The location is perfect—just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the Pantai Cenang beach. Plus, there are several supermarkets right across the street that stay open until 1 AM, which was super convenient. All in all, Parkroyal Langkawi delivered a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and service. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and outstanding hospitality. Check-in was quick and effortless, and throughout our stay, the service was some of the best we have experienced anywhere in Oceania, Europe, or North America. The buffet breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options including Asian dishes, local specialties, western favorites, freshly squeezed juices, and a great selection of tropical fruits. The rooftop pool and poolside bar were highlights, with stunning views and plenty of comfortable seating to relax, enjoy a drink, have a snack, and watch the sunset. The property is also within walking distance of several local restaurants, some with live music, providing convenient dining options. The complimentary airport shuttle service was an added bonus, making travel to and from the hotel very convenient.

Nice view. Very welcoming. The pool on the roof is the best thing about the hotel. Very nice sunbeds with thick mattress and nice palms. Nice pool food menu. Big room with bathtub. Free transport (not needed) to the beach. Hotel is a chill place to stay. Good WiFi. Cool fridge. Gym has perfect view that makes you train harder, towels and free water. Clean. Near the best restaurant in Langkawi (Cactus).

Fabulous suite with great views and lovely bathroom. Restaurant was excellent with lovely decor giving Ivy vibes, great food and wonderful staff. Recommend the pasta carbonara. Loved the rooftop pool and bar - comfy seating, lots of shade, good sized pool, amazing views, great cocktails and the nachos are best we’ve had.

We celebrated new years eve in the hotel and enjoyed a very nice dinner with a live band. The resort has a very nice collection of fine wines. Irene, Ms.K and other personal made it a memorable stay. The hotel is conveniently close to Cenang Beach ( 2$ by taxi or a 20min walk ).

I booked a solo trip to Langkawi and chose to stay at the Temple Tree Resort because it looked like a quiet place with character. I was in search of complete relax after an extremely stressful time at work and the Temple Tree Resort provided this opportunity largely exceeding my expectations from day one. I was kindly upgraded to the Estate 3 room, which was very spacious and comfortable.The lush garden is so well maintained that you would never leave the outside bench where you sit to read a book in the shade. If you like swimming, the garden pool is never crowded and allows you to have a few laps in peace. The service provided by Minie at the reception was absolutely outstanding, and Irene will make sure that everything runs smoothly during your stay. The internal restaurant and bar, Paloh, is top notch, with Raymond looking after you to make sure you don't miss out on your complimentary drinks and facilitating the interaction between guests. Mention of honour for the bartender, Mal, for pulling out a perfect Negroni Sbagliato upon special request, but all the resort Staff will go the extra mile to ensure that you enjoy every moment of your stay at Temple Tree. I will be back!

We had the most wonderful family stay at Temple Tree Resort, and it was nothing short of magical. We stayed in the Jodor House, a beautifully restored 100-year-old Chinese wooden house that’s bursting with character and charm. Every detail felt authentic – from the intricate woodwork to the gentle creaks and whispers of the old timber. We loved every part of it! The house is stunningly furnished, blending tradition with comfort. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the open-air wooden bath was a unique and unforgettable highlight – such a serene and luxurious experience. The staff were outstanding – warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made our stay feel even more special. The on-site restaurant was fantastic, with delicious food and a lovely ambiance. And the pool area? Absolutely beautiful and perfect for relaxing. This place has a soul. It’s not just a resort, but an experience – peaceful, inspiring, and full of charm. We had an absolute bliss and would come back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful well run resort. We stayed in Plantation One which had a lot of character. The bed was very comfy, there was a separate room with sofa, tea making facilities which were topped up every day & a fridge. The bathroom was huge. It perhaps needed a little tlc but functioning wise was absolutely fine. The breakfast was amazing in a beautiful setting & there was a drinking water machine close to reception. The pool was also fabulous although needed better access as it was not so easy to get in & out. Once in it was idyllic. Towels were provided. Sunbeds were always available & in such a peaceful setting. We ate here on 2 evenings & the food was fab & the service really friendly. Location wise it is a bit of a walk to Chenang beach but we did do it & if you have your own transport it’s not a problem. You can hire scooters from the hotel too.

As a family we stay away from the massive resorts and if you seen the same: this is the place to go! Staff was really great (especially Ms K and Raymond), food also delicious (both western and Asian) and the rooms fantastic. The manager (Italian lady) has things really well in hand and the lush garden surrounding the pool and different houses made it a really pleasant stay and vibe. With the garden/trees the temperature was also a bit friendlier compared to the beach, which is a few minutes scooter 🛵 ride away (they have a couple that you can rent). Some kids, some pensioners, some couples, all were happy as the atmosphere was really open without creating an environment where you felt you had to mingle. So all in all a big Thank you to the team!

Stayed in the Junior Suite with private pool for 6 nights in November 2019. Location was fantastic with easy access to beach (5 min walk) and excellent food options nearby. The included breakfast was great and enjoyed by all. The suite itself was comfortable and the private pool was perfect for my young kids (5 yr and 3yr old). Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Warmly welcomed by the staff upon arrival and were upgraded to the family suite with private pool the next day. Comfortable mattress, high water pressure totally pure relaxation. I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the services provided by the staff who assisted with the check-in and carry luggages (10 Sept, at 1700hrs), their services exceed my expectations. My family had two great nights here, thumb up and respect to all staffs of Royale Chenang Resort.

We really enjoyed our stay here and wished we had stayed at this hotel longer rather than another one close by which we left early. Our rating is based on the quality of the place for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was great for the money, no complaints and the overall location...although a little away from the main drag...did not bother us at all ...there are plenty of places to eat and drink to choose from nearby. We liked the pool area...it had a tropical feel to it and very private though quite shallow. We saw a troop of dusky leaf monkeys right there in the bushes on the grounds, just a few metres away from us ... we'd been trying various trips all week to try to see these without success, then we randomly bimble around to the pool and there they are! One of the highlights of our trip.

Im ersten Eindruck sehr gross und im zweiten Stock mit Ankleidezimmer und grosses Bad schon etwas dekadent. Es war alles vorhanden, der Service war schnell und hilfreich. Zwar ist der Strand etwas weiter, aber das Hotel hat einen Buggy Service. Etwas negativ war, dass zur Zeit viele andere Villen ausgebaut werden, auch das Hotel renoviert wird. Es herrscht demnach Baulärm, auch wenn das Hotel dies vorher angekündigt hat. Die Lage ist ok, da Grab Taxis leicht zu finden sind, die wenigen Restaurant sind fussläufig zu erreichen, sonst muss man stets ein Taxi nutzen. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist ok, es ist jedoch kein Infiniti-Pool. Da wir in der Villa einen Privatpool hatten, haben wir den Pool des Hotels kaum genutzt. Das Hotel Frühstück entsprach Standard, die Auswahl war nicht so gross und einige Gerichte wurden auch nicht mehr am späten Morgen aufgefüllt. Insgesamt zu empfehlen für Grossfamilien, die am Abend nicht auf ihren Hotelzimmern verweilen wollen.

Super hôtel très chouette, de standing, décoré avec goût. Petit déjeuner super, beaucoup de choix et délicieux. Personnel très agréable, arrangeant, serviable. Rooftop magnifique avec piscine très agréable Avec beaucoup de choix pour s'asseoir, même si les transats ne sont pas disponibles, et une vue superbe sur de beaux couchers de soleil. Cocktails super bons. Un petit moins sur les petits détails, notamment sur le ménage en profondeur des chambres et des couloirs, qui ferait toute la différence. Merci aux equipes , merci pour ce séjour je recommande 👍

Nous sommes vraiment enchanté de notre séjours . L'hôtel est vraiment magnifique : les chambres sont grandes et lumineuse avec imun balcon immense. Tout le monde est adorable et le buffet incroyable. L'hôtel est très bien situé et je vois recommande quasiment en face les restaurant BOBI pour de la cuisine authentique .

Best Villa with wonderful hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable, many choice of breakfast, good access from the airport. Quiet place, perfect nature scenery. The hosting family is really nice and kind. We unintentionally booked the room without private pool, but the room without private pool was also very nice and the hosting family kindly prepared for the time for using private pool so we also could enjoy the private pool!

The entire team were kind, caring and excellent hosts. We stayed here for 2 nights for our Honeymoon and although we weren't there long, we couldn't have asked for a better place. The entire Villa was clean and tidy for our arrival. The one we stayed in had a Private Pool, Aircon in both bedroom and living room, fridge, iron and a warm shower. There's a wide selection of breakfast options available for vegetarian/non vegetarians as well as having the option to have the breakfast floating in the pool with you while you relax. All the food we had was incredible and it was something we looked forward to each morning. The Villa is a 5 minute drive/taxi from the airport which puts it near the centre of the island. Most places you would want to visit are at most a 30 minutes taxi in any direction. (Grab app Taxi's cost ~10RM - 30RM to wherever you want to go). The streets surrounding the Villa have some small shops and restaurants, however there are lots more options in towns a short distance away. Overall, we would definitely recommend the place for your time in Langkawi and we hope that we get the chance to visit again soon!

If you enjoy rustic stay and closeness to nature, you will love Adagaya Villa. Adagaya means living in style and you will really be pampered by Nana and her hubby Faris as well as her colleague who will prepare your stay and serve you as you live in style. We enjoyed our 3D2N stay here very much. It’s a place where you really can enjoy rural and countryside living but yet be endowed with comfort living, a beautiful pool as well as yummy breakfasts. Nana and Faris never failed to be there for us each time we return to the villa to greet us and to ask if we need anything. Their service is very customised, very exclusive and excellent! We felt it was a Home away from Home. We will come back again with our old folks!

Everything. The property is located in the middle of a huge rice terrain - amazingly beautiful view. The private pool is wider than what looks in the picture. Deep enough for a dive. The staffs are warm and friendly and are always available and within reach in case of emergency. Bonus point- There are two handsome kitties (Grey and Mohamed) safeguarding the property with the actual security guard - always available to entertain the cat lovers. They are clean and friendly ❤️

The house was spacious with a pool – perfect for my big family of 20. Toilets were clean, tidy, and impressively well-kept. The caretaker was absolutely superb – great job! There were e-bike activities available in the morning or evening, just contact the host. Breakfast was really delicious – thank you, host! Overall, I’d give it 5 stars – totally worth the price.

Very beautiful designed houses with a swimming pool overlooking the paddy field. We had 4 days 3 nights stay - a great place for group gathering. Comfortable, relaxing, a lot of great memories created in Rumah Bendang. Rumah Bendang is located very near to the airport, only 5mins drive. The house owner En Azmir and property manager En Arman are very friendly and responsive. There was one unit AC found faulty and they replaced a new unit the next day immediately. We were welcomed with a box of cupcakes.. how lovely, and farewell with decent and delicious Malay breakfast, appreciate all these warm gesture. Definitely a great place with good value of money. NO REGRET! ♡

We stayed at the villa for two days and had an excellent experience. The villa was incredibly spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 5 people. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals just the way we wanted. The highlight for our family was the pool—it was clean, large, and perfect for a family to enjoy. Our three kids especially loved spending time there. We highly recommend this villa and look forward to returning in the near future.

The interiors are nicer than the pictures. Three en-suite rooms and one bathroom outside. Spacious Living Room and 1 set Dining furniture and another their smaller roundtable where we put our snacks. Cooking facilities were good with plates and cutlery. Also good iron and hairdryer included. Superb swimming pool!

The location was quiet and peaceful, beautiful lighting of the pool at night. The Bungalow had everything we needed and was well maintained. We wished our stay was longer.

Thank you very much to the owner of the house! We had a great holiday and did not want to leave at all! There were 8 of us, there was enough space for everyone! 4 bedrooms, 4 toilets! Wow! The best house, we will definitely come back!

I liked the pool, it's enclosed. The house was great, staff was amazing and responsive. I LOVE that they left so many chocolates, cookies, water and different drinks in the fridge, our stay was just prefect.

The accommodation was simply incredible! It is a two-floor loft equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bathroom is spacious and clean, the living room is ideal for relaxing and watching some tv. The bed was really comfortable (with 4 pillows!! what a luxury). They also provide you a free water bottle. The fridge worked just fine. The staff was incredibly sweet, they really make sure you have everything you need.

The bed was SO comfy, and the pillows were amazing! The apartment was super clean, modernised and spacious. They have a kitchen with water filter, hob, fridge etc and washing machine free to use. Really enjoyed our stay here, and had a great nights sleep. Loved the shower and bathroom. TV also has youtube so can watch things in lounge area. Overall really happy with this place. The staff were also really helpful.

We liked it so much we rebooked for when we return to Langkawi. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, and it was really nice having our own private pool. The owner was friendly and helpful. We were able to rent a scooter through the accommodation as well. The location is good - we were within walking distance to some great food places, and the main beach was about a 15 minute walk.

The room and the bathroom are very spacious and comfortable - there is a closet for clothes, a mini fridge, a kettle, even a desk if you need to get some work done. The private pool outside is refreshing and the lounge chairs are in the shade most of the day, so you will not burn in the sun when relaxing there. If you have a chance to stay there on Thursday, the night food market just around the corner is the best! Otherwise, the location is quiet, but close enough to the beach and town action.

The place is gorgeous! I wish I had more time to enjoy the facilities. The pool is quite big and the room is extremely spacious! We arrived quite late in the night and the host was still nice enough to help guide us in via the phone. It was honestly a nice kampung vibe.

The host Pak Ku was really friendly. The pool and the house are clean. We enjoyed our stay and barbecue there.

Mercure is so close to everthing beach, shopping, restaurants, massages places etc The staff are so friendly and always smiling The pool is so big and there is a children’s section of the pool too Plenty of lounges around the pool too My room was super clean and it had toothbrushes and earbuds, shampoo, conditioner and body wash The air finder was spot on and the the air water pressure was amazing The room was cleaned daily but not until the afternoon and I would have to call house keeping to get them to come Other than that it was perfect I was a solo traveller and felt very safe

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Hotel in Langkawi. The pool was very big and great for kids as it had a kids pool in the back. The pool bar was great and the food and drinks cheap during Happy Hour. The breakfast buffet was also great and had a good variety of food. Our room was clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again if I were to return to Langkawi.

Ideal accomodation: amazing location not far from the beach, clean new hotel, great shower in the bathroom, nice pool, very good service at the reception, tasty breakfast with a good variety of options. At the new year eve we had a Countdown Party at the pool at 9 p.m.: barbecue, salads, sweets in a very cosy romantic atmosphere. We think it was the best variant among restaurants according to price-quality ratio. Very cool coctails in the 99 islands bar for a moderate price (even ordered via room service, and it was very good). Exceptional dinner menu: tasty and not expensive, recomment to try. Also can use pool/beach towels, a very useful option.

My five-night stay was amazing. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding incl. complimentary toiletries. The hotel's location is convenient, close to the beach, shopping areas and dining options. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any inquiries or requests I had during my stay. Their hospitality enhanced my overall experience and made me feel welcomed throughout my entire stay. The breakfast buffet was good. There is a swimming pool, where they offer good drinks and snacks. I loved to go in the mornings to the beach and afternoons at the swimming pool. Overall, I highly recommend it! I will definitely come back 😊

Huge resort. Lush greenery. Serene. We were upgraded to the ocean front, Villa with a private pool. It was massive! Spotless. The bed & pillows were so comfortable. Impeccable service from all staff. They even ran a bath for us every day. Dinner at the Beach Grill was delicious. The most delicious mash potatoes I have ever had. It was so creamy, soft, and tasty. The massage we had was so relaxing. We had a fabulous stay. Special mention to Miki, thank you for looking after us so well. All our expectations were met without a hinge. Kudos to a great team!

We booked a canopy suite and the view was incredible! The bath on the verandah was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities were all high quality. The breakfast at the vegan restaurant was good, the pool was the perfect temperature and we got to enjoy watching monkeys play from both the pool, restaurant and our room. Service was outstanding from everyone we met. We were provided a free dessert and free soft drinks in the fridge on arrival. Didn’t provide alcoholic drinks, however you can get these very cheap at local duty free shops and store them in the fridge yourself. Well located - only a short walk to Pantai Tengah, or a short drive to Pantai Cenang. 30min from Kuah. The staff also helped us organise a mangrove tour which was excellent. We visited the Japanese restaurant (Unkaizan) located at the foot of the resort twice during our stay and would also highly recommend!

The room and location was relaxing and beautiful. The staff were very attentive and friendly, a very personalised service. The pool is beautiful, the two restaurants were lovely. Catch sunset at the Rimbo restaurant above the pool villas, it is unforgettable. Breakfast options were lovely.

First of all, the staff were very friendly and always accommodating. Thank you for making our stay so special. The included breakfast was easily the best breakfast of our two week trip to Malaysia. The vegan restaurant was the best restaurant we found on Langkawi. There is another restaurant with veggie/non-veggie options which was also good. We loved that the resort was located in the jungle along with all the wildlife and animals. It was beautiful and gave a unique vibe to the place. The hotel certainly felt more boutique when compared to the large hotels on the island which made it a much more personal experience. The swimming pool by the restaurant was great for a refreshing dip to chill. If you fancy, the beach is also just a three minute walk away. For going further afield Grab / e-hailing taxi is extremely convenient. The room itself was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. One touch I loved was that they offer ground coffee in the room rather than just instant. This is a small but much appreciated detail. We also loved the evening “turn-down” service in the room. It made our stay even more comfortable. It was also great that the checkout was at midday so we were not rushed to leave and then were able to stay an around after for lunch.

Dear Ampong team, the resort is run with a lot of love and great hospitality. The food in both restaurants is fabulous. Especially the Rimba restaurant with its fantastic terrace for dinner is to be emphasized. The pool and the forest invite you to relax and the monkeys make you smile. We would especially like to thank Raj for his warm support in all matters, such as the valuable tips for the island and all the trips through the very steep resort. We could always rely on him. A big compliment to the whole team. We can warmly recommend the resort (for people who are good on foot and are looking for something special) Thank you very much for everything🥰

This was probably the most serene and friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at (and I’ve traveled to over 40 countries so I’ve stayed at my fair share of wonderful places)! The retreat is tucked away in the forest but easily accessible by a main road, which made getting around the island very easy. The staff were exceptional and totally made the stay. The amenities - like the tucked away pool, the morning yoga, and the herb garden walk - were absolutely lovely. And the room (we stayed in a suite) was incredible! We loved the outdoor tub and ability to just lounge while watching the monkeys and lizards in the forest. Highly highly recommend this property!

The pool is shallow, long and thin and yet it is just right. Hotel can be busy with kids but there is still space. There are pool towels which they tell you to take.to the beach. Where else would do this? Balls and inflatables.provided for families. The pool surrounds are comfortable. Pool beds have cushions and umbrellas. Arranged in pairs. There are large sofas. Lounging chairs in the pool. A great view into the green forest at rear of the hotel. Little things like offering a complimentary drink. Fruit on a stick around the pool. With a smile. Space around reception area has an open feel. There is a library/business area. A tour desk. Bar and restaurant. Good breakfast buffet offering. The staff are so friendly, helpful and warm. All will stop, chat, say hello. What a wonderful hotel.

The hotel is exactly like the pictures, amazing facilities! Everything is kept exceptionally clean, the lobby, restaurant and pool area are excellent and very modern! We had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent with loads of options! Dinner outside in the pool area was amazing! Pool has several sun beds and plenty of space for everyone! Free and unlimited popcorn at the pool was the best feature of the hotel! Pool bar and drink deals were really good!! The hotel location is perfect to walk to the main Cenang area and to the beach and easy to get a Grab ride at any time to anywhere in Langkawi! Our room was great and had more than enough space with a full length mirror and a gigantic bathroom mirror, impeccable modern design!

The property is beautiful- lovely mountain views by the pool yet so close to the beach. The hotel has everything you could need which makes it not necessary to be beach front. There were lots of personal touches including free snack bar, free daily popcorn, a free welcome drink of your choice (out of a selection). The pool and surrounding lounges is great although can get a bit busy on peak hot days. The staff were incredibly friendly and allowed us to store our baggage’s with them before check in and after check out. Our room was a great size and had a nice pool and mountain view. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of options and variety each day We would 100% return to this property if we ever visit Langkawi again

We were welcomed with a welcome drink The pool was amazing, with comfy beds, great bar service & kind pool attendants. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of western/eastern options. The beds were comfy & the AC worked really well. What stood out the most was how kind the staff were, from reception, to bike rental, to breakfast, to pool, to bar… everyone was exceptionally friendly.

From the initial welcome to checking out, the staff were absolutely fantastic. Smooth check-in and the welcome drink on arrival was a lovely touch. Spotlessly clean rooms , comfortable beds with the best pillows I have slept on! Modern decor tastefully done. Really lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds and seats. Breakfast included with plenty of variety. Enjoyed the popcorn machine too! And the fresh fruit lollipops offered around the pool was also a lovely touch. I loved the little reading room and swapped plenty of books once i had read them. I enjoyed my stay that much, I checked out of my final destination a day early to spend another night here. I really enjoyed the location. Much quieter and relaxed and I found far better restaurants around this area than I did around pantai cenang.

This hotel is located very close to the airport. If your luggage is not too heavy just walk there within 10 minutes. The room is clean and comfy with good wifi, shower and aircon. My room was in Block B (hotel is bigger than expected :)) which was perfect, because I only had to take the nearby stairs to get to the rooftop pool in less than 1 minute. And if you walk down the same stairs you will find yourself on the street alteady without walking through the whole place to catch the lift for it. Easy shortcut to get back to your room coming from outside also. The pool is large enough and a great relief after another hot day on Langkawi. Although beeing so close to the airport this place is very quiet and there are grochery stores, a pharmacy, a drug store and PizzaHut and KFC next door, But for donner I wouöd rather go to the night market instead :) You can rent a scooter at the reception (50 per day) and the breakfast is lovely served by friendly stuff. Place to go!

We got way more than we expected. Comfortable room, bed and pillows. Sound proof windows therefore we couldn't hear the traffic from the road below. Additional bonus of bathrobes and slippers. Excellent swimming pool and facilities. The food in the restaurant was superb with a choice of Asian or Mediterranean on the menu. Breakfast was in abundance and to my husband's surprise I was eating noodles, soup and curry! Of course the cooked breakfast of eggs, sausage etc. and continental was also available. Vera and her colleagues thoroughly looked after us in the dining room, notwithstanding the staff at reception and the swimming pool were always checking that we had everything we needed. Very professional and friendly staff. Thank you ao much for a excellent stay.

The staff is unbelievably friendly, accommodating and helpful! We came here before booking a room to ask if it's possible to have a look at one of the rooms to check if it looks like the pictures online. It was no problem and so we booked the hotel afterwards. Room was very clean, housekeeping is doing a very good job. Bed super comfortable, two different pillows. Perfect! Roof terrace with pool was cosy and just perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is always included and with different dishes every day. We rented a scooter to explore the island. You can do that directly at the reception, they have a direct contact to call. Within a few minutes we had our scooter and helmets. The location is quiet but perfect to get everywhere on the island within 30 minutes. Supermarkets, food courts and night market just around the corner. It was perfect for us and we extended our stay for another four nights. Booking directly through the reception was cheaper than booking.com. On our last day they offered us a shuttle service to the airport free of charge. We can highly recommend this hotel and would always come back!

Everything was excellent. Every aspects of our stay was on 4 star level, not 3 stars. Kind and helpful crew, amazing pool with view on the rooftop, breakfast with huge variety, well equipped room, great wifi. Hotel is located next to Grab station, so it is easy to discover the island if you don't want to rent a car. Restaurants, self service laundries, supermarket, drogerie next to the building. So many services in the souroundings, and still it is a quite Hotel with green, tropical view, mountaines. We tried the kitchen for dinners sometimes, and they are cooking delicious. Perfect flavours for european tastes. Big compliment for the chef. Great value for this money. The only thing what we were missing from the room, is a racking for drying our towels and wet swimming suits.

This was a convenient and comfortable choice for our one-night stopover as we were heading to Koh Lipe. A standout was the breakfast, which offered a really good variety. Our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the helpful and friendly staff. For travellers needing a comfortable layover in Langkawi, especially those with early departures, this property is a solid option. It even seems like it could be a good pick for a few days as they have a pool and there are a few dining options around that might be worth it to explore.

Everything just met our expectations there, breakfast variety was good , infinity pool was amazing only one thing that was lacking was that there was no Bech view from the pool also no jacuzzi in pool.

There is everything to love about the Aloft Langkawi. From the beautiful rooms, fantastic staff and good food. The rooms are spacious, clean and beds are incredibly comfortable. The bathroom amenities are exceptional and love the filtered water tap to save on plastic water bottles. The staff are always friendly, accommodating and nothing it too much trouble. It is great to see the chefs in the restaurant interacting with guests. It makes for a great experience . The pool is what dreams are made of . What a way to relax, unwind and enjoy a beautiful tropical holiday. A drink from the pool bar and a view overlooking the palm trees to the sea. The service from every aspect of the hotel is great and if you need anything, all you need to do is ask. Everyone is there to make your stay comfortable, easy and relaxing. What more could you want. We had a brilliant stay here. The staff all over the hotel were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a decent size balcony. Each day we had a replenishment of bottled water, tea and coffee and juice. The hotel itself had a good size swimming pool, however there are not many sunbeds so you have to be quick. Some people had a tendency to leave a towel then go to breakfast. The breakfast itself had good options and at your table you could write what type of egg you wanted from the egg station. There are times in the hotel to let you know when the busiest breakfast times were. We also enjoyed the sports bar, which had games and a pool table. There is also a desk where you can book activities around Langkawi. The beach itself was only a short walk across the road and it was a nice relaxing beach where you can do water sports. Overall a great stay.

We booked the transfer option with the hotel so from pickup at the airport, 15 minute drive, to drop off for our flight home everything was catered for including a romantic meal for two. All the staff were great but particularly our driver who also took us on our trip to the SkyBridge and Cable car. One trip you have to book whilst you’re there. Atmosphere at the hotel was relaxed with a nice outdoor pool and bar on the third floor. If you want a spot by the pool however you’ll need to get your towels out early 😂 Langkawi is not a big town but plenty of small restaurants walking distance from the hotel and the beech is a five minute stroll over the road. A lot of hotel development is going on in the area but the Aloft is at the end of the strip so it’s views of the ocean will not be spoilt.

The definition of paradise would be this hotel. The room was a dream, with a terrace overlooking the fountains — the perfect spot to relax while listening to and watching the local birds. Both pools made it hard to leave, and at the cascade pool, where the swim-up bar is located, the staff were always kind and attentive (and they made us a piña colada that was absolutely delicious). One of the moments we’ll never forget was the sunset on the beach, where you could walk along the shore or simply lie back on the hammocks and soak it all in. Without a doubt, we’d love to come back.

Easy to get a taxi to from the airport. On a lovely beach which you could walk down to get to other restaurants or bars. Lovely low rise wooden buildings in beautifully landscaped gardens. Rooms were large, comfortable and had a luxurious feel. Staff were so friendly. Food was reasonably priced and good quality. Both pool areas were great, there was only quieter Cascade pool had a swim up bar.

Beautiful hotel built in a Kampong style. Grounds are well maintained. Beach is clean and beautifully sandy. The 2 pools are very well maintained and great to swim in. Loved tge swim up bar! Breakfast options were quite extensive. Staff all very helpful and polite. Though it's 15 mins from the airport - the planes are not too intrusive. Our beach facing room was large and airy with a huge balcony. Felt the place looked a little tired - woodwork and paintwork needs some refreshing. But it was comfortable and clean.

Lovely property right on the beach. Well appointed rooms. Choice of two pools, quieter one with swim up bar was our preferred, it was also near to our room. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast choice was very good in both restaurants. Location wise it was only a short distance to a good selection of bars and restaurants.

This is our sixth stay here returning with our son and his girlfriend who hasn't visited since he was a child. The view is absolutely gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice. We each had a Bayu Senya sea facing room. The rooms have a totally separate lounge. Do request ground floor if you don't like stairs as there are no lifts (apart from to the Anjung suite). The food throughout was excellent. We love Suraya's chicken chops and wraps at Sunset pool restaurant - the best ever!! We enjoyed dinner at Chefs Table which was superb and we ate here quite a few times in the evenings. We had a private beach bbq one evening, which was excellent and we were treated like V.I.P's. Both swimming pools were beautiful but we love the adult only Sands Pool -although we did go to Sunset pool (Suraya's) for lunch everyday as the food was so good there. We enjoyed the Saturday night beach barbeque at Sands Pool - so much choice! The property is beautifully maintained and so clean. We loved seeing that the hornbills have moved in! The biggest plus for us is that we are now protected from smokers because of new laws in Malaysia. We just love it that smokers can only smoke in designated areas and we could eat at the restaurants and sit at the pool without being inflicted by smoke - well done Malaysia and thank you Tanjung Rhu!

The hotel is set in a lovely bay. 2 fabulous pools, one is adults only. Plenty of sunbeds, towels and umbrellas around pool and on the beach, Our suite was exceptional, we had 2 balconies, jars of nibbles, a nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and a fridge, plus plenty of filtered water. The bathroom was very large and well equipped with toiletries, with a separate toilet and shower and a bath with bath salts and petals. We could open up the shutters to have a view of the sea from the bath. Slippers, robes, and very comfy flip flops are available too. Every member of staff was amazing, from the gardener to the chief executive. Always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was great with a wide selection and even a glass or 2 of bubbles if you fancy. The BBQ dinner was fabulous and well worth the money. It is a phenomenal selection of hot and cold food and plenty of bubbles. If you want to eat outside the hotel at all there are a number of restaurants a short distance away, we had a scooter so this was easy for us. Grabs are available but understand they can be difficult to get due to the short journey. Be aware that the restaurants outside the hotel do not sell alcohol (with the exception of 1, Scarborough fish and chips). All in all an outstanding hotel with outstanding staff.

Tanjung Rhu Resort is located in a dream spot. Absolutely stunning private beach with beautiful sunsets. Beautifully maintained garden and lovely pool areas (separate pool for adults only which is ideal for a couple). Very attentive and friendly staff really made us feel welcome and taken care off. Dinner options not very exciting but great selection for breakfast. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back any time over the more ‘highly rated’ places in the west of the island where we’ve stayed as well.

The beach is excellent which I enjoyed the best. The fine sandy beach I have found after a long time was overwhelming to my expectations. The pool was very clean and nice but I used mother nature created beach then pools. The breakfast was excellent with very friendly staff and the Managers always caring with very kind and humble

hotel room size just nice with 2 queen bed. everything is function accordingly, the shower rain with strong pressure is the most satisfying. got pool for kid but the pool looks like it need regular cleaning. parking space available. 5 minutes walk to Chenang main street.

Location was good (<10 mins talk to the beach) Simple single-storey motel with a nice swimming pool. Two double beds was good. Water cooler at reception to avoid buying water every time Comfortable beds and pillows. Free sweets at reception. Swimming pool is never really 'closed' - you can swim early in the morning or late at night and no-one will trouble you. Room is cleaned as often as you need it cleaned.

Free parking available. Walking distance to shopping malls and to Cenang beach. (Much easier to walk instead of driving to nearby places, save time and cost to find for parking) Big room with 2 super comfortable queen beds. Free refillable coway water at lobby. Basic toiletries and clean towels provided. Not so large swimming pool and may be occupied most of the time from 8am to 8pm, but well maintained and clean. Friendly staffs and receptionist. We was allowed to check in a few hours earlier. Drinks and snacks are sold at lobby. Mini fridge, kettle and iron with iron board available in room. For the price offered, definitely a perfect place to stay. 👍

We came for 9 nights, because we wanted to also have time for some work. Luckily, the wi-fi was pretty fast, good enough for having online calls with clients. Location of hotel is like 5 minutes from the beach and Cenang Mall, which is kind of city centre. There are machines for filtered water in the lobby, which was very useful. You also get some bottled water with every cleaning of your room. Unfortunaley, we did not use the pool, but it looked fine :)

We recently stayed at Berjaya Langkawi as a family with our toddler and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to a jungle chalet with a sea view and a spacious bathtub, which turned out to be perfect for both relaxation and toddler bath-time fun! Breakfast was a daily highlight – an incredible spread with something for everyone. We especially loved the Roti Canai station, fresh fruit juices, and eggs cooked to order. The pool area was lovely, with a swim-up bar and lush surroundings of palm trees – a truly tropical vibe. We often spotted hornbills flying overhead, adding to the magical rainforest atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the guided night walk, which was amazing. We saw colugos, scorpions, bats, monitor lizards, giant squirrels, and even a tokay gecko – an unforgettable experience that we highly recommend to nature lovers. The dusky leaf monkeys are so adorable and greeted us many tumes during our stay. Dining at the à la carte restaurants was a treat. We especially enjoyed Pan Thai with its romantic setting and delicious dishes, and The Brasserie for its excellent food and relaxed ambiance.

Nice sized room, comfortable bed. Our room was a short walk to the pool and restaurant, so did not need to use the shuttle. Also was a short walk to Langkawi skywalk Nice beach. Loved the pool and pool bar. Comfy sunbeds. Nice buffet breakfast included. Nice grounds, in rainforest setting, that means animals are comfortable in the grounds, and have plenty of space and vegetation for them to live.. The hotel works with the nature and setting it is in, giving a rustic vibe that suits the island. Not every hotel has to be a super modern white hotel. The decor and resort, reminded us of the resort we stayed in Maldives. Ideal.

Amazing resort. The cabin we stayed in was the sea view one which had the most incredible view. Walking through the rainforest everyday was amazing, but do make sure to bring bug spray with you. The pool and beach were amazing and always clean. The lounge chairs at the pool fill up quick, make sure to get down there early. What made this place so incredible is the staff. Every single interaction was amazing, they would always go above and beyond for us, including setting up a honeymoon greetings on the bed for our arrival. 10/10 service. The food was also amazing, all restaurants on the resort had tasty food and made it feel like we never gad to leave the resort to eat. Bugs will come in if you leave your door open, but we made sure to go in quick and generally avoided any tiny friends coming in. But the resort did leave bug repellant in the room which was a nice touch, as well as the umbrellas everywhere including in the room. The wifi wasn’t the best overall, which is my only point of constructive feedback. I would recommend this place 100%, specifically because of the staff and how hospitable they were. The spa was also a 10/10 experience, despite those cheeky monkeys running into the reception area causing havoc.

We’re not usually resort people but we treated ourself at the end of a budget trip. The hotel was phenomenal - set on its own by the edge of the forest - the foyer was beautiful with every necessity and support you could need, including booking activities which were generally cheaper than buying independently. The private beach was gorgeous (although swimming in the sea was a bit stingy - maybe standard for the area), sunbeds were limited but get there early to put a towel down and reserve and you’re fine. Swimming pool had a lovely atmosphere with a pool bar which served bargain cocktails. Our cabin was gorgeous, spacious and comphy with all needs met. Buggies took you around as such a large resort - service was excellent so you could call from your room and be collected when ever you need. The monkeys on site which are rare to the area are so cute and friendly. The best was the staff - every person smiled with so much kindness and genuine smiles - best hospitality we’ve received in Malaysia!!

The Casa Del Mar was beyond brilliant, I could not find a problem with this hotel. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you, The food is five star dining and lovely and fresh. The rooms are comfortable and the bed is huge for peaceful sleep with no sound outside heard in your room. The location is ideal. I believe they will renovate in the middle of next year although I was more than happy with my room. I would say all the rooms have a beach view. The pool is beautiful with plenty of beds around the pool, so you get to have a pool bed very easily. They bring you lovely little surprises during the day of which I have never had before anywhere. The staff are always saying hello with lovely smiles on their faces and any problems seem to get fixed immediately not tomorrow, it is fixed straight away. The Spa is fantastic, so we had many beautiful massages. Just like I said at the beginning, I could not find a fault with this hotel and I will certainly be back again in the very near future. We were there at the end of September and beginning of October for eight nights, I wish I was still there now. Thank you Casa Del Mar and staff

The location is perfect at the best part of the beautiful and quiet end of Chenang Beach. The sunset views are extraordinary, and it is a short stroll into the town shopping area. There are nearby bars and restaurants, we particularly enjoyed Kalut which is basically next door and has fire shows most evenings just after sunset. The Resort also has lovely dining and bar options. The dining on the beach at sunset is amazing. The premises and room are great and have everything you could ever want and are well sized. The included and replaced daily water, soft drinks and cookies are really appreciated. The pool is beautiful and the grounds are impeccably maintained and lead straight onto the lovely beach. It is is a relatively small resort and the ambiance is so laid back and relaxing, it is bliss. The daily breakfast is delicious with a-la-carte and a small buffet available, it is a great way to start the day. Staff at the premises are really helpful and friendly, they are always around to help with a smile. If you are lying around the pool they appear with a lovely jug of water. We really enjoyed our stay here, and the value proposition is the only question - we will definitely happily return as we loved it!

We stayed in a beach front room which was really lovely. Room was clean and comfortable. There was a coffee machine in the room and jars of biscuits and peanuts, topped up daily. The pool is lovely and the staff bring jugs of iced water to you as you lie by the pool or beach. I had a massage in the spa which was also great. The restaurant does great food and at dinner the tables are set up on the beach. The staff are all really lovely and so helpful. I would highly recommend and wI'll definitely be returning

Excellent hotel that meets every expectation. Great pool area and plenty deckchairs around the pool and on the beach with clean towels daily. The breakfast is a feast, and the service really of the highest standard. Good location and within easy walking distance of local restaurants and shops. I doubt that you will find anything better in Cenang.

Casa del Mar is a unique hotel. It is well described as a boutique hotel - relatively small, nicely appointed with lots of charm. The food that was served was of a consistently exceptional standard: fresh, delicate flavours and always beautifully presented. So much so, that we chose not to eat anywhere else during our 4 day stay. In addition, the choice of wine, cocktails and beverages was plentiful. Breakfast was fabulous and was served all morning. The opportunity to eat a magnificent dinner at sunset with our feet burrowed in powdery soft sand was truly memorable. The hotel is well appointed and houses a decent sized swimming pool. The spa provides many treatments: we had two different massages and a facial - all lovely. It is worth noting that one needs to book a day or so in advance for treatment as the spa is not overly large and times seem to fill quickly. The personal touches provided were appreciated: the way the room was prepared for us each evening (I won't give too much away!). The staff clearly enjoy working as a team. It seriously felt like they were one big happy family. Our only disappointment was that during our stay we were unable to connect to WiFi in the vicinity of our room and had to use the 'open' connection in the library. This was inconvenient for us as we had an urgent need to be constantly liaising with family members back home. Apparently, there was something faulty which was being investigated. To sum up: A charming hotel with peaceful ambience.

I liked the friendliness of MOST of the staff.. It was quiet and peaceful. We were given the corner room for the sea face chalet. Room 418. We totally loved it. The balcony was directly into the beach. I could have my privacy with my husband just to relax by the sea... Our afternoons were typically to be at the beach,enjoy the view of the sea and its sound of waves... it was sunny throughout our stay, which is good.. the beach was pleasantly blowing nice wind... didn't feel hot at all at the beach...Nice trees for those who like shaded areas too. The food: Very good food at the restaurant by the pool. You might want to sit inside of your afraid of lizards, though.. I have phobia, but I didn't let it deter my plan to sit outside, but I was cautious.. :D ... this was a thing in any resort or hotel, though. Its the environment, and they respect nature. The breakfast buffet was great, too. All staff did a wonderful job and I would not complain. POOL AND BEACH: Well maintained pool and beach ... towels were clean and the seating area too. The bar by the pool was nice... the staff were very attentive at the beach.. I remember re arranging the beach chairs to be close to husband and when we leave and return in less than 30 minutes,the chairs will be correctly put again. The staff are wonderful 100000%

Return visit which is unusual for us and speaks volumes! First and foremost such a friendly resort. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure you are enjoying your stay. The rooms are a little rustic in places however this just adds to the character. We love the balcony area with the sea view rooms. The pool area is lovely and the pool bar team are fantastic. Do take time to enjoy happy hour. The selection at breakfast is vast. You won’t go hungry. We enjoyed some evening meals in the restaurant as well as “snack” meals at the pool bar. There is a little shop at the marina area too which is useful. Worth taking a walk around the treks on the island although I would recommend mosquito repellents.

Great place to stay. Good food. Peaceful. Relaxing. Awesome pool. We didn’t leave the island. Wifi was good for working (we are on a long working holiday). Pool bar was nice and pool was awesome for Miss 1. Easy to chat to other guests. Enjoyed running around the island and the monkeys were cool.

An excellent place. A great value for money, and generally a great place. This is a rather small island resort on an island that has only a harbor that is quite large as it seems to be used as a boat park for people that like to own a boat in this part of the world without necessarily living there. The island is quite small with trails that you can walk, but outside them there is only the forest with teaming wildlife. The resort consists of two story bungalows with different size rooms depending on your requirements. We travelled there as a family of four and had an excellent time, relaxing in a great atmosphere with fantastic service and facilities. There is a boat that goes over to Langkawi pretty much every hour and is free for resort guests. The boat can be rented for private trips both during days and nights for those that like to stay long out on the town in Langkawi before going to bed. The swimming pool was open until 23:00 and has a pool bar. There is also a beach bar next to it for those that like to swim in the ocean. There is only one restaurant on the resort, but the food was affordable and very tasty, serving anything from Far Eastern cuisine to European cuisine. Air conditioning in every room, bathtub and a shower and very nice beds. Good internet everywhere on the premises. There is also a gym, a convenience store and a laundry room that is quick and affordable to use.

I liked everything about this hotel. Here is a list of features that made the comfortable stay possible:- 1. The dedicated parking area that is spacious. No reservation is needed. 2. Hotel is besides a laundry shop and mosque. 3. Vending machine is available to buy snacks and drinks at a reasonable price. 4. With this price, welcoming drink and nata de coco is provided, which I personally think that it's cute. 5. The TV works very well with 15 channels. 6. The room is well air-conditioned. 7. The room and bathroom are super clean. Overall, it's hygiene, strategic and good value.

I had a wonderful experience staying here! The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing stay. One of the things I really appreciated was the nearby mosque – it was very convenient, and I could hear the adzan clearly, which added a peaceful atmosphere throughout the day. A great place for Muslim travellers. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I truly felt welcomed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and Muslim-friendly place to stay.

After my stay, I would say that all the comments are legit. The cleanliness is superb. The room is spacious compared to other hotel with similar price in Alor Setar. For those looking for hotel near hospital sultanah bahiyah, this is the most recommended place for u.

I stayed over the weekend of 3.5.25 with my grandkids and had a good experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well-handled. The front desk staff were warm and accommodating, thoughtfully assigning us two adjacent rooms, which made our stay even more comfortable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and tastefully furnished, with cozy beds and a lovely view of the city. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough each day, and we especially appreciated the well-maintained pool, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Located in Kuha next to HIG Mall. This is a very clean Muslim hotel with excellent polite staff. No swimming pool in this hotel. Lots of free parking. The buffet dinner served at the restaurant on the main floor was tasty with lots of verity of food at a very reasonable price. Will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip to Langkawi.

Stayed from 20-22/4/19. This hotel is convenient for those who wants to go shopping for cookware and chocolate as the haji ismail group mall just nx to the hotel. There's atm in the mall too. Food court and souvenir in front of the hotel. They offer welcoming drinks to their guest. Good customer service here. Breakfast spread was good! I'm not picky when it comes to food tho. But the spread combines all sort of food from local, western etc. The food was tasty too. Suits my taste buds. Room is big. We took deluxe room. U can request connecting rooms if u want to. This hotel is near to kuah's night market. All in all, i would come back to this hotel the nx time im in langkawi.

I left my coat/suit/blazer in the room during check out, after that the good news is I managed to retrieve it back from the hotel. I guess the fundamental core value of the hotel made this happened. I couldn't imagine what would happen if this happened at other hotels... "Sorry sir, we couldn't locate it, maybe..." But the management of HIG has instilled the right core value to its asset. Kudos and well done. HIG stands for Haji Ismail Group. A true islamic hotel. Walking distance to HIG complex, a land fill of chocolate (honey and milk too?) The delish breakfast is a challenge for those who has small apetite and difficulties to decide.

I stayed here for 3 nights and nothing I don't like about this hotel. The room are well kept, it is clean, the bathroom also clean. The moment i enter this hotel, i've greeted by their warm hospitality and they send me up to my room with my luggage. Service here is like 5-star hotel. It is easy to find halal food in this hotel area as it is next to HIG Food court and also HIG mart where we shop for chocolates and dinnerware.

Nice hotel, comfort, easy access and friendly staff but need to improve the time of check in because I had to late check in by 1:15 hours because the room is not ready. Also time of housekeeping... I arrived at the room at 1.00pm (2nd day) but the room has not been cleaned. This hotel nearby shopping complex and easy to shopping. I will choose this hotel again, but hope with improvement.. The room was clean, and VW motifs were everywhere if that's your thing.

Comfortable and cozy ambience. Booking for 3 adults.., surprisingly its have 3 comfortable bed and also dining table.. 🤩 with fridge also! The staffs was also helpful and assist us accordingly.. of course, I will stay again in future... Keep up the good work!

The location is very easy to find, the room was spacious than expected and we love how clean the room was provided to us. 24hrs check-in is also convenient for me as I arrived at 3am.

Theres no lift and i struggled as both my parents are old but other than that the entire place was great. The room, space and food was above expectations.

Stayed for the last two days of our Langkawi tour in this hotel. The hotel has spacious rooms, one of the biggest I have stayed in a star hotel. The room overlooking the pool was especially good, obviously for the view. Otherwise, the rooms were generally nice and clean. The bathrooms had a bathtub, which was quite usable. However, the general decor of the rooms is somewhat spartan, and also, a room had some musty smell because of the non-use , may be. The major attraction of the hotel is the pool, which is big, clean and nice. Enjoyed the same quite a lot. Another good thing about the hotel is that they provide a shuttle bus for Cenang Beach in the evening and pick up at around 9 to 9:30 pm. This is a great facility which we utilized on both days. The buffet breakfast was good, to say the least, with lots of variety and proactive staff. In general, the hotel staff were hospitable and forthcoming. So, all in all we had good stay with kids and because of the same in spite of certain shortcomings, I recommend the hotel and given five star.

Enjoyed our stay at wings. Room was clean & comfy on arrival. Hotel really nice in general - great pool area & nice pool bar area - friendly guys working at the bar area. The breakfast spread was really impressive - huge selection to choose from & really great food. Free shuttle service into town in PM which was really useful ! Otherwise is easy enough to get a grab from hotel location. Next door to airport however didn’t hear any planes from room . Great stay!

Superb facilities, very grand, spacious and has everything you could need, including pool, gym, bar, restaurants etc. Pool has cool water feature. Very close to the airport and affordable compared to other hotels in Langkawi. You can walk from the airport, don’t worry about booking the shuttle, it is 2 minute walk round the corner!

Isma at reception was great, she was super helpful and assisted me with all my needs. The hotel reception and pool area are really modern, the pool is amazing, and overall, it was a great experience with plenty of on-site parking.

One of the best budget hotels I've stayed in.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was continually cleaned. The facilities were all working well. Really enjoyed staying there. A short distance away there was a Macdonalds and then there was also some shops and different eating places. They had a swimming pool but didn’t have time to use it. They are conscious about using less plastic so encouraged people to refill using the water dispenser on the first floor.

Absolutely steal deal for the price you pay at this hotel . Well-behaved staff , spacious room and bed . Situated in Kuah . Swimming pool . Can rent a car or bike to roam around the island. Few shops and food joints in walkable distance.

A beautiful setting, with a large infinity pool and a smaller one for children. The pool overlooks the water, but if you want to swim you need to go to Cenang, as the 'beach' there is muddy. The hotel itself is about 15 mins from Cenang (which I think is the nearest town), where we went for drinks and dinner a fair bit. The food at the hotel restaurant is ok, but they don't serve alcohol. Our room was very comfortable and a good size with a small bar fridge, lovely bathroom (with bath). Only downside is there are no USB ports, so bring an adaptor plug. We decided not to hire a car, but downloaded the GRAB app, which was very easy to use. A taxi to Cenang costs anywhere between 10 and 27 MR. There is a lovely restaurant with fabulous food, that also serves wine/beer etc right behind Ombak, called Aneta's Cafe, which is in the Laguna apartments - only a short walk from the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and always friendly. Our tarrif included breakfast, which I would recommend as there is a wide range of foods for various tastes.

The room was perfectly fine, and my family really enjoyed the garden view and the facilities provided by the hotel. The swimming pool was very clean and good spacious, including a separate pool for kids. They have dedicated space for your vehicle parking. For just RM10 per hour, you can rent a good conditioned bicycle and enjoy a ride on the dedicated cycling track. Although you can't go into the sea, the seaside area is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing . It's a great place for families to enjoy quality time together.

Excellent beach side property close to the airport. The rooms are spacious and have good views. Room service was available. The pool and the area around the pool was clean. Breakfast had plenty of options but it was the same menu everyday and quality could be better.

Wonderful retreat high in the rainforest. Transportation provided up or down the hill whenever requested and ready to take us up to our place as soon as we arrived. Staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Excellent restaurants and spa. Great location. Lovely beach across the road where Holiday Villa will sell you a wristband for about $10 to use their pool, facilities, beach and pool lounges, and give you a beer or soft drink. Many restaurants nearby, though those at the resort are among the best. We’d go back any time.

Hotel offers everything you require for a relaxing holiday. Rainforest setting with views over the ocean. Lucky enough to observe monkeys, monitor lizards and hornbills from our balcony. Very steep site but hotel offers free transport to and from your room and anywhere within the resort. Swimming pool and poolside area small but beach close by. Only breakfast is served in the hotel but you can dine at the sister hotel or the numerous quality eateries in the resort (all free transport both ways).

We had booked to stay 4 nights, and it was really beautiful, however we hadn't bargained for the steepness of the site. If you have mobility issues this is not the place for you! There were 134 steps up to our room from reception l which was not to our liking, however, in fairnes the staff were more than willing and frequently did offer to drive us (and all guests) up and down to the room. It is all part of the service they offer, but we didn't like not having the freedom to just wander around easily. Also the bar does not serve any alcohol and we do like a beer! On the positve side, the villas are stunning - spacious and well equipped with lovely beds, linen, a kitchenette and private balcony. Wonderful view over the tree tops down to the sea and plenty of wildlife to look at. So I have rated it 4 stars as it is a wonderful place, just not right for us. We spoke to the manager and he offered us an upgrade to their sister site Ambong Pool Villas which we gratefully accepted as it was much flatter! Great service from the whole team and I will review the Pool villas separately but they were outstanding and we spent the remaining 3 nights there and didn't want to leave.

Our family of four stayed in one of the 2 bed villas for three nights. We had a truly memorable stay, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic. At the rainforest retreat restaurant (RR) is vegan, I’m not vegan and was surprised how much I enjoyed every meal. Prem and Lee are so helpful, always on hand to give a lift to the Pool Villas or move our luggage. The RR is built on a very steep hillside which I wouldn’t have wanted to carry the luggage up and I think I’m fit! There is a new gym on site, cardio machines and some free weights, my eldest daughter thought it was the best gym of the holiday, good air con and a panoramic view of the jungle. My wife’s favourite part of our stay was the monkeys, there are multiple troops that live in the surrounding rainforest. The black ones are shy but noisy the brown macacs are very cheeky and will steal shoes and food. AA RR is a very special hotel, we loved our stay there for many reasons and would definitely return.

Booked 2 rooms for a night to attend a wedding. Room was spacious and very comfortable. What i absolutely loved was the water pressure in the bathroom. Been awhile since i had such an amazing shower. Breakfast was tasty with a small hiccup. They had some fried food without labels as one of the dishes and when i had some it was chicken. However it was later changed to squid. The person i was with is allergic to squid but luckily he spat it out as he realised the texture was not of chicken. We did not make an issue as he did develop his allergic symptoms. My 2cent would be, please label all your food. Overall great stay and oh lovely pool too at the rooftop. Nice breeze which made it really cold too.

Front counter deserve this recognition, first impression is very important :) splendid and kudos for the 10 stars customer service. Fast Check in less than 10 mins. Location is fantastic!! Though there is no smoking room, doesnt mean im dissappointed with my stays. Nurul Huda Ikan Bakar with a fantastic view near hotel, Sky Bar and the rooftop pool with an awesome view. This was not my first stay with Bayview Hotel Langkawi. We stayed in family room for 6 nights. Hot shower works well! The room offers two toilet, one with shower& bathtub and another one just toilet Pool facilities. Bring down your own towel cause each time im there always no towel. Those who wish to go for sightseeing please book at the hotel i find it cheaper. Get the hotel to arrange for you! Nice Breakfast choices Not much for dessert

Great choice for a family of 4 with their deluxe family suite, that offered adjoining and well appointed rooms with ample space and comfort for all of us. The pricing was great with a deal on Agoda and the location was great as well, very close to Kuah town. The amenities were great too, we used the pool and the gym and found both to be excellent and well maintained. Overall, we loved the stay.

The hotel was extremely clean, staff was courteous and located in a very nice area of Langkawi. It was the best decision to stay at this hotel. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. The hotel has Spa, Gym, swimming pool and an amazing view of the water bodies and the MAHA tower. Loved it. High tea was complimentary. Haha it was nice..

Went to Langkawi during semi lockdown in Klang Valley and was looking for a budget friendly accommodation just to shower and sleep. Upon looking Agoda (online booking aps) decided to stay at this place that situated in Kuah Town due to its super low rate (probably due to covid) and central location. The place is brand new and from the outside, it looks like a decent no frills accommodation. The lobby is like the average bed and breakfast place (they open 24 hrs.. Don't worry if u arrive late) If you are hungry, the sell basic instant food like instant noodles and waters. But what surprises me the most is the super clean room. Not just that, our room in level 1 (they even have lift) smells fresh and not to mention, is comparable to a 3 to 4 hotel star rooms size. They even have coffee making facilities and free water. (don't forget I just paid rm58 for it!) The air conditioning works just fine and the bed is with great pillow and mattress too. Like said, like in 3-4 star hotels! One thing you need to be mindful if you are driving, since the location is in rows of new shoplots, need to be mindful about the parking. U need to buy tickets for the parking (but according to the staff at check in counter, the enforcement officer usually comes in the morning around 10am😜)

Enjoyed this great offering with a group of 8, incl. 4 kids. Spanking new (has been open for only three weeks), everything functioned (no teething problems!!!!). The rooms were big and high ceilinged, a feature I'm partial to. The large floor-to-ceiling windows looked out at a pleasure boat strewn bay over a vacant lot. The front of the hotel was spotless, quiet and spacious leading to an ambience of wide open spaces offering the freedom to believe anything's possible. Kudos to Housekeeping and a 24-hour always helpful front desk. The neighborhood is quiet but adequately populated by cafes, restaurants of all mien and tastes, shopping malls/duty free shops (Langkawi IS duty free!) and a small night market. An thoroughly enjoyable stay was has by all!

We got a Seaview room, which was remarkable, you can view Maha Tower from the window. Your full wall window will be your live TV with natural scenes. some construction is underway don't know if views will remain the same after the completion of that construction. Their Wi-Fi connection was amazing - never seen such strength in hotels like theirs. TV was a Smart TV functional with Youtube and you can use your own Netflix there by signing in. Eagle Square is just a few km away from it, and you can visit the Kilim Geoforest Park area thru grab - it's not far. For Sky Cab, you have to take approx 40 min drive that area is far away.

We were impressed with the hotel. It is right on the main road and super easy to find. From here it is an easy walk to many good restaurants, a laundromat, and the water park if you have kids. The main ferry pier is a 20-30 minute walk, but a Grab is really cheap option. The facility is relatively new with clean, modern rooms, very relaxing. The staff is helpful and efficient. Overall stellar value for the price, and a great place to base yourself for touring the island of Langkawi.

Has a comfortable bed, and the room is very peaceful.Have a strong wifi. Beautiful view from the window if you are nature lover. Location is great not far from the town and the beach. The town has good choices of restaurants. Breakfast is a bonus. We recommend to hire a scooter or a car to tour the Island, with many hidden treasures that you will enjoy🥰 . We will miss Langkawi and the Salsa hotel thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience.

Super-friendly staff not just the front office reception but also very caring & kind lady looking after the breakfast arrangements. The property is ideally located near the Cenang beach (grab cost around 5 MYR for one side trip). No mini-fridge in the room but hot/cold water electric coolers installed in the hall way & you get a thermos in the room for water storage. Ironing stations in the hallway plus you can request for a few items like hair dryer separately. Pretty decent breakfast with choices of cereals, bread & Malay cuisine. The stay is best for the value of money charged.

This place is for sure the best place I stayed at in Malaysia! An absolute bargain for the price, comfy bed and a big spacious room with big windows so lots of natural light, I also had a great view of the fields behind the hotel. Location is great too, 30 min walk into the centre or just a few minutes drive by car/scooter. You won't get much better than this. Staff are also very friendly.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Langkawi! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff was incredibly responsive and attentive to every need. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the view from my room was simply breathtaking. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place, perfect for unwinding. The breakfast was decent, with a good variety to start the day. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Such a lovely place to stay, a little bit out of the city but 10 minute drive 6/7 ringgit in taxi. We liked not being so close to the city. The pool was nice and chilled and the accommodation was great, nice veranda to sit out in the evening, comfy bed and monkeys in the trees! What more could you want? Breakfast was good, we also had lunch by the pool and that was good to, you cansee that everyone works hard to make this place an enjoyable place to stay😊

Super nice place located in wonderful garden. Our chalet was on the upper floor which was really nice because all the trees and plants around helped to keep it quite private even during busy opening hours of the cafe. Chalet was spacious and nicely furnished. Part of the stay were breakfasts in the cafe and they were great. Amazing coffee! The cafe is widely popular and there was a reason, everything we tasted was really good. The huge plus was a swimming pool. We had it just for ourselves practically everytime. The pool is quite big, nice and surrounded by the amazing garden. We enjoyed it a lot. Last but not least, the staff! Everyone was super friendly and willing to help with anything we needed.

Great stay here, we extended to stay another 3 nights so 6 nights in total. Small family ran hotel, staff are lovely and very helpful. The pool area is great, gets the sun all day till about 4/5 when half goes shaded. Some sun beds are in the shade of the coconut trees which is great - can be easily moved around the pool. Rented a scooter from here for reasonable price, kept this throughout our stay. Would recommend a scooter as is a walk away from main beach but is walkable. There are restaurants/cafes within walking distance and small convenience store at the end of the street. Kitchen includes large fridge and microwave. Room was spacious and included a dining table. Good aircon.

I like the location of the stay. It is near the airport with Grab and also less than 5 minute drive to Cenang beach. They rent scooters, so you can drive anywhere. There is a lot of space. You have very well equipped kitchen. In the room there is everything you need. Small kitchen setup with microwave and fridge. Bathroom is basic but nice and clean. Main room is spacious. Bed is comfortable with good pillows. In front of the room we had enough place and 2 small chairs and a table. The common are is nice and tropical looking. With a lot of palm trees for shade around the pool. Pool is clean and a good addition to the place. Area is generally quiet except at praying times in the morning. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Everything was great! We stayed in a triple bed bungalow, there aren’t any pictures of the outside on the website but they have a lovely shaded terrace area and have great soundproofing. The room was clean (including the floor) and spacious, the beds are very comfy and great value for money. The pool was so clean, we think it’s netted every day. The wi-if was good and there is a little shop at the start of the road to the hotel. The manager, Leen, was so helpful and kind and couldn’t do more for her guests. The location of the hotel is in walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants. The aircon is very powerful and so is the water pressure. They offer scooter hire for a great price and have a kitchen area which is free to use. There is a free water dispenser and toilet roll is available when needed, just need to ask.

The area is quiet and calm.

Hotel located in center of Sungai Petani. No breakfast provided but its ok because variety of food nearby easy to be found such as Medan Selera, KFC and Mamak Restaurant. Hotel also near to KTM Sungai Petani. Clean, tidy Bedroom with wide parking area. If you want to book hotel with small budget, this is one of it.

SP Central's room is huge. It is clean and quiet. We had a great sleep. The staffs are great and welcomes you with warmth. It is located close to the iconic SP clock tower which is great for us to go anywhere within SP. Value for money. Totally love it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Iron was not provided in the room but they have a shared iron station. The bathroom was clean. Room was spacious and comfortable. Easy access to food. There were many drive thru and food panda delivery to your room. Overall a pleasant experience.

Also have a kettle - plenty of water supplied - pillows and bed soft We loved our stay and I can’t wait to go back!! I highly recommend this stay! For me my highlight is the staff! Booked this property mainly because it has beach access which was very convenient as we travelled as a family. This hotel is on the Pantai Tengah. There is a restaurant on the beach which opens till late so it was wonderful to order food and drinks and spend time by the beach. The beach was extremely clean. The hotel pool was also very big with a big jacuzzi and pool bar. Only thing is that pool bar closes at 7pm and pool closed at 8pm. But it gets quite dark by 8 so it didn't bother us as we spent the rest of the evening by the beach. There is a huge wooden swing on the beach which was so nice. Also they had put out a lot of beach chairs. The landscaping of the resort is very nice and well maintained. The property is old but it definitely is well maintained and clean. The staff is very good and polite. We visited during Ramadan month but didn't have any issues as the facilities were not affected. There were very few tourists but worked in our favour. The property is about 2km from Cenang beach which is the main tourist hub and I would recommend it for watersports and the lovely soft white sand and souvenir shopping. Other places are easily accessible by Grab taxi service which we used and found super convenient. Overall I would recommend this property.

As many say in reviews the rooms are a little tired, but clean. Housekeeping staff excellent. The resort facilities are wonderful for all age groups and the staff are warm, friendly and exceptionally helpful. We didn’t have hotel breakfast, however the pool and beach meals were satisfying and LaVilla restaurant excellent. The pool club is a great day for a treat. I love sunset on the beach. And my morning beach walk in peace. AC is excellent, beds comfortable, and HUGE. On the main Rd, not far to walk are numerous eateries and supermarkets. This resort is a little out of town, but grab is cheap and easily available. Give it a go if you like pool and beach. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful resort 😍😊 Cannot wait to return with more members of my family. Rooms are all low rise chalets, either ground or first floor. So many trees and flowers on the site, staff put huge amount of care into making it look beautiful. Joanna and Carolin, the Guest Managers, made us feel so welcome - they would come around at breakfast and have a friendly chat to all the guests, and throughout the day. I know that it we needed anything at all, the staff would have sorted it for us with a smile - as it happens we had everything we needed and more for a suoer relaxing stay. Two pools on site - perfectly situated so you can either look at the pool or turn the sunbed and face the sea. Both pools very clean and a lovely refreshing temperature for cooling off from the hot December sun. One morning we were given a farm tour - the resort is eco friendly and reduces, reuses and ♻️ most things - they keep chickens, have a mini wetland and grow vegetables and fruit to serve in restaurant. Met my sister here - I cam from UK, she from Australia- and we both want to come back soon!

Restaurant food was really good and drinks reasonably priced. Room had partial sea view and was comfortable with an outside shower which was good. Fridge kept everything cold (cans of beer are duty free from stores in town), nice loungers around the pool areas. We were closer to the salt water pool which was good. Didn't eat the breakfasts as were at day 9 of our trip and wanted a break from these - good Turkish restaurant nearby for brunch. Walked into town, unfortunately with the amount of rain and offshore breeze at this time of year the beach wasn't best for swimming but imagine would be fine at more settled times, still sat under the pagodas on loungers near pool looking out at Rebak Island and all the parasailers. Front of Office and restaurant/bar staff were really friendly. A couple of nearby resident eagles added to the experience and of course lots of Frangipani trees.

I loved the pool setting. Loungers with umbrellas, and the bar nearby, yet family friendly. Very clean. The second pool, which was a salt water pool, was also very nice. The staff were very friendly and polite. There are lots of plants/trees around which gave the resort a nice feel. The beach a Tengah is a lot quieter and cleaner than Cenang. We walked around Cenang at night to see all the eateries and shops, but swam at Tengah. We hired a scooter for a day to get whiz around the island - very safe and lots of fun!

Beach was nice and less people since it is private beach. Beach and pool also are clean. I love the outdoor shower! Pool water was warm, and we had so much fun in the pool. Room was spacey and cozy. Restaurants are walking distance.

The saltwater pool was a pleasure for us and our kid. His skin wasn't like an shrimp after 2 hours bathing like you get in pools using chlorine. The resort is a fantastic place. Save money on your Langkawi vacation, rent a room at Chabtique and use your vacation budget on activities instead. If your main goal is to have a jacuzzi at the room (to brag of on FB}, live on a huge 5 star hotel with a overcrowded pool, stay in a long line to finally get a cold omelette or waiting for a free dining table, this place is not for you.

Everything was beautiful and lovely, staff were so helpful and warm. Breakfast was awesome, pool was right outside our room, loved our porch facing the pool. Love the warm embrace having coffee on our beautiful porch when it rained. Praise the management for such warm hearted staff

Service level was excellent - everyone from the front desk, cleaning staff, breakfast staff etc. All were friendly and non-intrusive with high levels of EQ. Really like the eggs done any way by the two guys at breakfast - who were very cheerful but not overtly. The salt water pool was also perfect - we travelled with a 3yo toddler and she enjoyed every minute of it without getting chlorine all over her face. The staff also make sure to clean the daybeds and provide pool towels. Breakfast was sparse but generally delicious - we loved the eggs, fruits and local dishes. Pretty good baked beans too! It was also quiet at night and in general, a very chill space with similar guests who were also introverted but kind and undisruptive. Everyone was always reading - just generally a very chill and happy vibe. Good proximity to Pantai Cenang and other locations without being too deep in the centre - something I really appreciate. I also love the two cats on the property who are sweet and cute.

We really enjoyed our stay, it is a small compact group of villas with a pool. We had a room overlooking the pool. Everything worked really well, the breakfasts were great , the place was clean and well maintained and the staff helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending it and will return if in the area.

This was my third stay at this hotel because I liked the rooms, the location and the facilities .The Deluxe room was spacious for 3 pax and the beds were very comfortable. The housekeeping was very good. The staff are very approachable and willing to help with travel questions as well as give ideas/ suggestions. They were very considerate and gave us the first floor near the stairs which made it easy for us with our luggage. It is also reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay 😀 thanks to everyone for looking after our needs.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and everything worked well. It’s not in a rural area and has a very convenient location, just steps away from 7-Eleven, CU, Mixue, and many other shops downstairs. As a group of women, we felt safe in the area, which was well-lit and seemed secure. Free parking was a big plus, and the overall environment was comfortable.

We liked the friendly staff who were always there for us to ask anything and were happy to answer our questions and help us. They gave us extra bottles of water when we asked. The housekeeping is always good and clean.

Spa, gym, seperated swimming pools for male & female are there. Overall it’s really convenient and perfect to stay.

This is a great hotel, we booked 1 night & stayed for 4 nights in the end. We paid for a sea view room with breakfast & we were very happy with both. Staff are all fantastic & very professional. Good location to lots of places. We can't fault this hotel. Swimming pool is lovely & located on the 2nd floor with the gym. Highly recommend as great value but book the breakfast with your room.

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Gym access for a token fee on top floor. Cons: Hotel located in old part of town, need to travel further for halal food. Parking limited but hotel do provide alternative locations to their credit.

The most nearest & reliable accommodation to the temple just few yards only (walking distance without any hassle). Even though, the hotel age is just 3 - 4 years only but, the interior & bed still in good condition like newly.

Very good location to go any where in SP. Food easily available both Chinese and Indian food.

Service was awesome...Kind staff...they provide bread n milk in morning for all customers...

I love that the hotel provides water filter machine with free 3 in 1 drinks at the common area. There's also an iron with ironing board at the common area. They also have an automatic shoe polishing machine! Location wise it is quite strategic. A lot of eateries at walking distance and there is also a big shopping mall nearby.

The hotel was new, only open for a month, so everything was new and clean. There's a guard, (the receptionist told me that he took care of the parking lot), the room was spacious enough and worth the money. Its near the mall and there are a lot of shopping and eating areas so it's easier to get food and shop.

The only hotel I ever stay at when visiting Sungai Petani is an absolute gem! It’s incredibly affordable, immaculately maintained, and exceptionally comfortable. With KFC, Starbucks, and several restaurants within walking distance, a mall just three minutes away, and the town nearby, its location is simply unbeatable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an enjoyable and hassle-free stay!

This hotel is very near to TOL (SP Utara) with a lot of eateries are nearby. The facilities are new and fully equipped with tea, coffee, mineral waters, tissue papers, toilet papers, toothbrush, soap, and shampoo in which some budget hotels did not provide.

Everything was amazing, right on the beach, pool was amazing, staff, food choices and cost were really good, the chilled out music at the pool was also excellent.

Swimming pool and pool bar was superb. Easy access to the beach with beautiful sunset. Room was quite big with all the necessary amenities.

The resort itself is amazing. Private beach with water activities and a large pool overlooking the beach. During the weekend, a DJ plays near the pool and there's easy access to the dining area. The breakfast options were pretty good. The room was clean and super comfortable. A very scenic resort with great vibes. The location is close to cenang beach (by car) and only a 10 minutes walk to a few restaurant options from the resort.

The breakfast was a good mix of of local cuisine and English, which gave a good balanced selection for everyone in my family. The resident DJ by the pool played a variety of music to cater for all guests. Although there was music outside, inside the rooms was quite and peaceful- good sound proof in the rooms. The beach and pool was very clean .

The staff was really nice. I had to cancel one of my rooms due to unforeseen circumstances, and they granted free cancellation despite it being the day of. When I arrived, they were very understanding and nicely welcomed me with friendly chats. Everything else was just a normal hotel stay. The room was comfortable enough, and the parking is also ample.

Your breakfast is delicious and very enjoy environment. The staff (Shikin) is very kind friendly with professional services complete with sweet smiling face, excellent staff. The room is very comfortable and feel like a home

There were not many options, especially in the bakery section, but it was good enough. The pool was tiny, but it was under the roof and had a children's section. Good location, close to Eagle Square and public park, and 1.6km from Maha Tower. Buffet meals were served for breakfast, lunch and evening meals, with wide choice of delicious food, at good value price. Staff were welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at 'We Hotel Langkawi' for a couple of nights. It is situated at a convenient location in Kuah, Langkawi. Vehicle parking is also available in front of the building. The hotel premises were clean. Kuah Night Market was within walking distance of this hotel. Maha Tower was visible from a window at the end of a corridor. The receptionist was welcoming & the check-in process was smooth. The Executive Room we booked was on an upper floor and it was accessible by an elevator. The room was very spacious & the bathroom was too. They were clean & had good lighting. The room was equipped with tables, a few chairs, a cupboard, a wardrobe, an electric kettle & a television. The bathroom was clean and hot water worked without an issue. Towels, soap & amenities were available. Room service was available throughout the stay. We booked an island-hopping boat tour through the hotel and it was alright (though the pickup wasn't on time). We could also get a late checkout (until 3 PM) for an extra cost of 30 MYR. Overall, it was a great stay at We Hotel Langkawi.

Ive stayed here for about 1.5 weeks over a few visits. It was clear, comfortable and bright. The counter staff were friendly,efficient and nice. A number of unexpected difficulties arose during my last visit here eg phone SlM card, Phone Bank App, clothes repairs, travel preparations,need for certain medications,arranging lifts,arranging taxis etc The Management guys couldnt have been more helpful with these matters and more. Ben was particularly good and could find out where everything could be accessed. Nothing was too much trouble here.

The location is nearby the jetty and chocolate shop, only take less then 10 minutes to arrive the destination. The staff is friendly and helpful. Walking distance to MAHA Tower at the back of the hotel. During weekend there is evening/night market. A lot of vendors selling variety of foods, drinks, and even souvenir. Would recommend to stay here next time visiting Langkawi.

It’s a budget friendly hotel with all the basic amenities needed especially for solo, business or even small groups . It’s not fancy but the location is okay and the staff, especially Dan, is very friendly and helpful. Wifi and the shower (hot water) worked perfectly .

Me and my family were so happy stay in this hotel. The room was spacious and the pool so big. One thing I like about the pool is they have staff to monitor the guests. Overall, the hotel was great and surely will choose this hotel when we travel to Alor Star.

The staff were welcoming and efficient with check-in. The building is old ans simple but if you are looking for a basic, solid place to stay than this is a great option. The adjacent swimming pool is great for kids, open into the evening, and free to use if you have a room. There is a small store downstairs to get snacks and coffee. It is about a five minute walk to the town historical center and a huge mall where there are many food options. I would definitely book here again.

We booked two rooms and had a great family time. The hotel is close to Aman Central, major shopping complex in the city offering various eateries and shopping outlets. We also had lots of fun using the swimming pool.

As mentioned by others rooms are really spacious. Bed was comfortable but the pillows a bit hard. Bedroom and bathroom very clean. Wifi worked. Location is good except that there are not a lot of food options nearby. The ones just around the corner were not open on both evenings I checked. Across the road is a western-style restaurant. The quality of the hotel you get for 58 RM is very good. Also not noisy and staff is friendly. Very convenient small shop attached to the swimming pool. Drinks, snacks and a bread for breakfast.

T-star is a fabulous place to be. If you like nature and being surrounded by the real sounds of animals, this is the place to be. The premises are totally covered in green, so privacy is also increased thanks to this "screening" and amount of greenery. It hosts a huge amount of animal life, from frogs to crickets, geckos or monkeys. They all have their moments of concert and noise, but I find it charming and soothing. They can get very loud sometimes, though. (warning for those who don't enjoy nature sounds so much). The room is big enough to move around and the bed is soft but quite comfy. The bathroom is huge! I was on an upper room, so C was working well and full on (it gets hot!) and also topped it up sometimes with the fan. There is a nice terrace outside with two sunbeds and a low table. The only thing I missed (as I am a digital nomad) was a desk to work, but I spent some time in nearby cafes during the day making up for it. Internet is good and stable. Staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. They are there for you if you need them. And if they are not physically in reception, they will be very fast at replying to your messages. I always felt super cared for! I loved the place!

T star is a such a peaceful place to stay surrounded by nature and its sounds. The monkeys are regular visitors and there’s lots of frogs in the many ponds. It is simple and rustic and there’s no hot water but that’s a treat in this level of heat. The ladies on reception are the best, absolutely lovely, kind and so helpful. The buildings are a little ‘tired’ but that kind of adds to its charm. It’s perfectly located opposite a lovely beach and away from the busy area of Cenang but very cheap to get there in a Grab if you want more choice of bars and restaurants for dinner. We loved it here! Thank you

Personally the location is fantastic for me… few mins walk to Tengah beach, couple mins bike ride to Cenang, some shops and restaurants within walking distance just enough to cover the basics, and the sound of the animals during the night (the frogs go nuts!) - overall, a fantastic place! Shout out to Fariha, Bella, Anis and NaDeela and Mama’ at the shop for making my stay so welcoming! They are very valuable assets to this property and will go out of their way to help you out :)

Everything is great. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms with garden view bathrooms and a big terrace. Very quiet area to stay. At night you can only hear the frogs. Within 5 min walk from the beach. Scooters and tours can be booked at the front desk. Free water dispenser for hot and cold water. Restaurants within walking distance.

Heaven on earth ! Peaceful, clean, organised, nature literally at your doorstep every day, Monkeys on the balcony every morning 🌄. Truly best resort cottage experience. It is simple, at the foot of the mountain and located near the main town centre. I ended up extending my stay. Thank you, Tstar Cottage Team.

Beautiful garden and the view is very stunning… nice weather. Food was great. Staff some was friendly, some was not. Multiple attraction there- starwbery farm ( nothing much there just a cafe) , dinasour park- not really well maintain- but was ok), playground - kids love it. Swimming pool. Skyview deck- RM10 / 10 minute to take photo n enjoy the view.

Our first visit for six of us (close friends) to Jerai Hill. What a wonderful experience!. We loved the calm embiance, the beautifully well maintained cleanliness and its rich fresh looking flora. We also fell in love with the cozy and comfortable excecutive rooms. The breakfast spread was lavish. We loved it. We had dinner at the resort restaurant. The food was really great and to our taste. Compliments to the skillful chefs. And prices were quite affordable too. Overall, the resort was a real worth for our money. Keep up your good and great service

Everything! The beautiful views; of hills, paddy fields & sea. The fertile gardens that are full of so many trees & flowers. The hydrangeas. So many hydrangeas! The food was good. Happy tummy. The refreshing air! Loved it! I even love the challenging 11km drive. I specifically requested for a smooth check-in before we arrived, and the check-in was super smooth. I really appreciate it.

Strategically located at the heart of Kuah Town. Easily accessible to surrounding areas. The main purpose for our trip was for the kids which one of their main attraction was the kids pool. Prime location in kuah, (1.3 km to jetty point), bike car rentals,food joints, departmental stores,parks very close property is spread across a large area, great sea views, 2 pools (one heated other mini water park for kids), hospitality could not be better, they readily allowed early check in at 10 am, missed my jetty on the checkout date at 7am & was allowed reentry until noon (couldn't thank enough). Strongly recommended for a value stay with excellent buffet breakfast

Stunning location, the view from the room and pool was stunning. Love that they separated the pool for kids and adults so you can peacefully enjoy the pool and view. The room was nice and spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Urban Inn is a good place to rest after a long day of tiring work as less noisy around the hotel corridors. The location is strategic for a short drive to reach the Chinese hawker food and kopitiams in Kulim.

Pro: Big room, clean and new/modern, good water pressure and working heater, excellent mattress, cold AC, ample parking (self paid) Con: Almost visible frosted bathroom wall + no latch door (not suitable for family with young kids), very bad sound proofing, no lift (still ok for young ... 1 floor up only) ... lastly (but this is out of the control of the hotel) flies everwhere

The bed was so comfortable. The cleanliness of the place was goood. The Shower especially i love it as the water pressure is good and heater functioning well. The airconditioning only need to be checked as sometimes its not so cold. Good thing in the morning its cold so it was perfect

Pretty convenient, cheap in price, they have the vending machine downstairs and also filtered water. Located nearby Lotus and few restaurant, pretty convenience for me. Television might have a slight problem but they work just fine. There is also a place to iron your cloth.

Its my third time in dayang bay and I enjoyed the stay as everytime we all loved the amazing view, the balcony, the swimming pool, there are supermarkets and restaurants right next to the hotel and public washing machines. Inside hotel you have gym, kids area, pool and table tinnis. There is oven or microwave depends on the room. The restaurant by the pool is amazing and another great option Nam Grill restaurant near the hotel, if you wish to have nice seafood there is raheem restaurant next to hotel. I strongly recommend it for everybody.

1. Breakfast -The foods taste good. Good spread and love the mee goreng, mee siam goreng and curry chicken so much. 2. Room - Very spacious 3. Pool - Love the pool as there is also pool for only women. Note: Love our sea view room. We managed to see sun rise.

The kids loved the Pool. It was a fun pool with loads of slides, see-saws and fountains. The adult pool is a cascading one and is large and very beautiful. The room we booked was spacious, well-equipped and very clean. The breakfast was lovely !

Our stay at Dayang Bay Hotel was great and well-suited for a family with young children. Initially, the hotel couldn’t find our booking, but it seemed they had enough rooms, so it wasn't an issue once they found our reservation. The children's pool and the adult pool were both very nice. The staff at the hotel were kind, happy, smiling, and helpful. We had a lot of contact with the security and the concierge, and they were incredibly sweet to our small children. The hotel is older, and the cleaning could benefit from more frequent vacuuming, as there are carpets in the rooms, and sweeping doesn’t pick up hair (if they even have vacuum cleaners?). The room could also use a dish brush for cleaning used dishes, as well as a couple of knives. However, it is child-friendly, the food is good, and they offer a wide variety for breakfast. We loved our stay here from rhe 28th dec 2024 to 9th jan 2025

Very clean, spacious for a single room. Bed is comforting as well as the blanket. Toilet is clean and pleasing. Towels are clean. Complete with all necessities (toothbrush, body wash and shampoo, water heater, cups and mugs, hangar and hotel slippers). Very well maintained.

Room in the Long House was great especially direct access to semi private pool. Overall an excellent stay. Hotel located in a quiet area which means getting taxis is essential to go out. Did not have dinner in the restaurant but breakfast buffet was fine.

I stayed 10 nights at The Ocean Residence, initially booking a Superior Longhouse Double Room but upgrading to a smaller pool-access room because the energy felt better. The upgrade was worth it – direct access to the water, reliable housekeeping, daily water refill, and the presence of sweet cats that made the stay feel softer and more personal. The property itself is large and quiet, almost with a “lost place” atmosphere. The location is secluded, which means peace and silence – perfect for those who seek retreat. As an author, I found the stillness deeply inspiring and actually completed an entire book here. For that, I am truly grateful. What could be improved: several facilities clearly need maintenance. Furniture was worn, pool tiles broken (posing a safety risk), and the abandoned restaurant area gave off an unfinished impression. There is no on-site dining except for a microwave and water dispenser – something travelers should know in advance. Also, bathrooms would benefit from lidded bins as a thoughtful detail, especially for women. During my last days, demolition work began on part of the property. While I could still hold my own energy, the noise would be challenging for more sensitive guests. In summary: The Ocean Residence is not polished, but it does offer calm, sunsets, and space for those who know how to create their own sanctuary. With more care in maintenance and detail, this place could shine again.

We stayed for a week at the Ocean Residence Resort and thoroughly enjoyed it. The resort is quite near Kuah, the capital city, but not close enough to be able to walk there so some people may find the resort slightly isolated, especially in the evening. There is no restaurant on site or nearby, which is a little annoying, so to eat you will have to get a taxi to Kuah - £4/€5 by taxi or £2 with UBER. If you don’t mind a takeaway the staff on site will organise one for you which usually takes about 45 mins to arrive. The resort sits right on the sea front and consists of several detached units, a block made from shipping containers and a row of 11 units with a swimming pool in front which they call ‘the longhouse’. Our room was in the longhouse and was clean and comfortable, the pool which is right outside the bedroom door, is fantastic for an early morning dip. There’s also an infinity pool that looks across the ocean which is lovely. We were there for a week and found the place relaxing and peaceful and the staff friendly and helpful. We hired a car for 3 days, organised though the resort, and that allowed us to really see the island, which I have to say is beautiful and so easy to drive round. We loved it here and would return without hesitation.

It’s perfect for cooling off after a warm day or for doing a few laps. The serene surroundings of the pool add to the relaxing experience. The owners are exceptionally friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. From arranging excursions and massages to providing breakfast etc. This place offers a true oasis of tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to access it when desired. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay surrounded by natural beauty, Sembilan Langkawi is the perfect choice. We had a wonderful time here and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

My family loved staying at Sembilan. We were there for 6 days and it was just amazing. The villa was well equipped and very comfortable. My kids and dad loved everything about it. The pool was just nice. My kids swam every day! We wanted to do some beach activities and Charline recommended a great guy at Cenang beach who also helped us with the island hopping booking. Charline also recommended some really great cafes and restaurants! Kudos to Hafidz and Aidil too for helping us in the middle of the night as my dad somehow managed to lock himself out of his room. They came super quick and helped us out even though it was so late. I have no regrets with choosing Sembilan for our family vacation!

It was huge! The 4 bed villa was spacious with room for everyone to spread out. The grounds were so large. The pool was great. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook dinners. Reefa- the manager was excellent. Provided us with recommendations, always available when we had questions. And was just lovely.

It is an excellent Villa to stay in, Beautifully decorated, Big outdoor green area along with Swimming Pool. Hosts are very accommodating & provided 5 start service. Fully recommended.

Lovely location, good pool, and the host is great. Very helpful, helped us get mopeds and told us about local spots.

I liked the pool, and the view from the pool. The pool temperature was perfect, I really enjoyed floating in the pool for quite awhile. You really are set in a beautiful location. I came at a time when the weather wasn't great, but the view was still gorgeous. I also really liked the staff at the pool bar. Very kind, friendly and accommodating. All the staff that I met in your resort was also very kind. I think the staff works very hard to make sure all the guests are happy. I also did not feel that I had to wait too long for food and drinks. And the drinks that were available, the bartenders did a very good job making them. Also the one thing on the menu that was fabulous was the buffalo wings, they looked exactly like they did in the picture, and the flavour was amazing. I loved the bed, so comfortable, and the refrigerator was super cold, I loved it. I also appreciated having an extra room key provided in the room to keep the electricity on, such as to keep the refrigerator running. I was so happy that there was also hangers in the room. And the bathroom was super clean and very very nice. And the air conditioner was fantastic. Thank you.

We can only describe our experience as exceptional. We chose the Bella Vista in preference to a high rise hotel because of its character and Colonial style. A great choice for us. The rooms were spacious with well appointed bathrooms, great air conditioning and facilities. The pool and bar area were a fantastic place to enjoy the views and relax which we did most days. Reasonable prices and superb bar service. The breakfast had a great choice and suited all our needs. The special hotel rate for water park entry was really appreciated and useful. The greatest asset to the hotel in our opinion was the quality of it's staff. Always helpful,polite, cheerful and ready to assist at all times. Our special thanks to Dee Suwardi the pool bar Manager who personally made our time by the pool such a relaxing experience Also Mr Ganesan the Resort Manager who was able to accommodate a slightly later departure to help us with our onward travel. We would definitely return to the Bella Vista. Many thanks to you all.

The room was superb I was originally in a Loft Double which was more than adequate with a super view of the garden and ocean with a balcony. Because work needed to be carried out to the room I was transferred to the Garden Suite which was superb, spacious, modern huge bathroom, cable TV with Netflix and a terrace which leads on to the garden, swimming pool and bar. We are frequent visitors to Langkawi and the Bella Vista is our go to hotel. The staff are so polite and friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you have everything you need. Special mention to Brian who manages the lobby and Dee who runs the pool bar both provide an exceptional service.

Loved our stay here so much that we extended. The pool is always clean and there's a poolside bar. The staff are very friendly. Wide breakfast selection. Really strong WiFi.

Location in Kuah is good with lots of local eateries and points of interest. Getting to anywhere on the island is hassle free with easy Grab access. The resort is large and seems to be undergoing some updates. It is showing its age in many parts and there are many newer resorts. Swimming pool was great until it rained and the water got murky. The price to value was exceptional. Aircon in room was good, bed was very comfortable and shower and toilet area were spacious. Staff throughout the resort were very helpful and shoutout to the chambermaid on Level 3.

Very clean and great stay. But my credit card was hacked after I did booking from booking.com. This is the second time my card was hacked after same incident, after I booked hotel from booking.com. I did not use my credit card for any online banking except booking.com. I called up bank and they mentioned must be data leaked from some website, and the hacker did almost 20 transactions without any notification send to me. I only realised when I opened my banking app to check. I was charged for Eur149 for multiple transactions. I WILL DEFINITELY spread this news to all my family and friend, will ask them NEVER use booking.com for hotel booking. Bcz this website is too vulnerable.

Friendly staff, breakfast included is simple but delicious. Pool close at 8pm but can request if we want to extend time for swimming. Hotel is located near the airport so its very convenient for people who travel by plane. Good place to stay if go to Langkawi.

I had limited conversation with Mr Tan and wife. But they appeared to be very kind and humble person. As I was reaching late. Mr Tan take the effort to made a video specially for me to guide me on self check-in which it included the direction to my room clearly. Not only that he actually show me where to park and got us the nearest parking spot . I was super touched with his kindness .. As u can see the room is spacious and bathroom is big. Heater is hot though we no need hot water as weather is hot up there. The aircond was cold. Room was clean By the way near by got a mall (I think the name is ABC) And his wife also do provide some home cook Thai food. U need to book in advance for her to check the ingredient.

The location of the property is quite convenient. It’s in a quiet side road not too far from the city centre. There’s a shopping mall (Ampang Business Centre) in very short walking distance with a supermarket, convenience stores, a coin laundry and several restaurants. And there’s also a food court on the opposite side of the mall and a McDonald’s only two minutes further in the other direction. The room and the bathroom were quite spacious and spotlessly clean, the towels were brilliant white. The mattress was rather soft and very comfortable. AC worked fine at all times. The hotel was nicely decorated and the owners were very kind. They organised a transport to Padang Besar for me and helped me out with a charger, as I didn’t have any UK plug with me. Last but not least, I could safely store my bicycle behind an automatic gate. Would definitely return if in Alor Setar again.

The villa was clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place for a family gathering. The view of the bendang (paddy fields) was beautiful and added a peaceful, scenic touch to the experience. The pool area was also a great feature — spacious and enjoyable for both adults and kids.

I like that the location is super near to the airport and easy to reach all Langkawi attractions .In the house, there are bathroom and toilet for each room which is very great and beyond expectation. Easy to get breakfast nearby . Kids will definitely love the pool

I loved the spacious layout, abundant natural light, swimming pool, and the amazing staffs.

We were greeted warmly at the reception upon check-in. The staff is very friendly and effcient. My family really loves our stays at the villa. It was really clean and in good condition, the beds were comforfable, the villa surrounding was also very relaxing. Unfortunately the water pressure for the shower head was too low, so it took longer time to rinse off the soap and shampoo. Overall I would say my family enjoyed and have pleasant stay.

Everything inside room has most facilities such as fridge, safe, limited cable TV, excellent WiFi and very comfortable big bed. There is however no toothbrush and toothpaste. Location is OK with a 20 - 30 mins walk to Cenang shopping area. Good food service in Cactus bar/restaurant. Very friendly owner (Mr. Lip) that give good travel tips (in Chinese and English) and able to book all major trips (e.g. mangrove tour and diving trips).

Newly built small and quiet accommodation adjacent to Cactus Restaurant and opposite the beach. The rooms are spotless and include good air-con, wifi and we had a king size comfortable bed. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay, providing extra towels etc and offering complimentary laundry facilities and a well stocked library. The only drawback was the lack of a pool, however the beach is very close and the tariff is extremely reasonable!

Well cactus inn... Perfect cheap and clean and great staff. Got a taxi from the pier... 30ringit so was decent start already. On arrival check in was so quick and Mr lip the owner was very warming and helped us to our room. Room 4, was clean big enough for two with a little sofa, TV on wall and decent bathroom. Aircon and a fan... Had a playing card were the key card Goes so can keep the air on on all day when not in room :D One poor thing was the shower, poor water pressure but that's the only fault. Wifi was okay, but gets turned off around midnight once restaurant shuts. Location isn't bad... 3 min walk threw a resort to e beach, small and quiet, bigger larger beaches further up just longer walk. It's a good 25 minute walk to the main area were the malls and sea life place is. Taxi was 8ringit into town. Restaurant was always busy morning and night, it's cheap wide selection and good service I recommend eating here! Also go visit bird and animal place.... Great day out truly enjoyed feeding all types of birds and animals. Also quick thing about Mr lip... Busy restaurant and we arrived in a taxi in the rain on our last night and he ran across with u break and helped. E and my partner out and gave us a second umbrella so we didn't get wet. Great hotel and truly recommend!!

I picked the Cactus Inn based solely on reviews, and boy were these reviews on point! It was a surprise honeymoon/anniversary trip for my wife, and i mentioned it when i made the booking. What i didn't expect was that they made up the room with some extra nice touches (rose petals, couple towel 'swans'), which was a pleasant surprise! The Owner (Mr Lip) even helped to arrange for a Mangrove Tour at the last minute, which usually will entail higher pricing, but none of that with him, he got it at a good price point for us (below what i expected to pay). We will most definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Langkawi, no doubt about it. The room - VERY clean - Clean bathroom - Safe box - Bottled water/kettle/coffee/cups available - Lounge chairs and coffee table outside the room (verendah) - In-room TV with Satellite TV The hotel - Great location for the price - Parking space for your rented vehicle - Adjoining restaurant (Cactus Restaurant) which serves up good food - Location is away from the major areas, which is good because it is quiet The Staff - Extremely accommodating - Super friendly The Restaurant - Cozy ambience - Opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner - Good food (Western and Local dishes) and drinks at reasonable prices - Good music for easy listening

The Cactus Inn, is a real gem to the Pantai Tengah area. The staff are lovely and friendly, the room had more mod cons (a safe, a fridge, air con, TV with Cable and a fan) than I was expecting. The room - standard, double bed was spotless, clean and tidy and no nasty surprises (aka bugs). I was so pleasantly surprised (being a hotel girl), and given how cheap I thought the Cactus Inn was especially over New Year. It really made the start of our holiday. The restaurant was also buzzing, every morning and evening, people filled the tables...the food was delicious, we mostly ate local food, but they catered for everyone. After we moved on to a hotel for some beach time, we kept going back to the Cactus Restaurant, it was that good. All in all, we could not have been happier with our stay at the Cactus Inn. I highly recommend a stay there. Noteworthy: The plug sockets are 3 pin. The bathroom is a wet room (with sit down toilet) The safe is key access not pin code If you stand by the house the back of the road, you can see wild monkeys. The Inn is only 1.5 years old, and the restaurant is 16 years old

Here is Paradise! Lovley hotel with a memorable greenery view. Please don't build anything on the fields. The room are very big, sparkle clean, the beds are very comfy, the staff is the most nice and respectful I have seen. They are eager to help you with anything and make your staying very comfortable. The pool is also beautiful, great to relax in the evening. The beach and the center is at about 2 km, and you can easily walk. Also you can rent a scooter or a bike to get to see the island and the great beaches. Family restaurants are very close to the hotel, at 200 meters, a lots of choices, lovey food.

We really love this place, we began with booking 2 nights and have ended up with 11 nights here. The rooms are great, spacious, comfortable and clean. Wonderful balcony overlooking a fallow rice paddy with water buffalo, a cow and her calf and so many different types of birds 😍. There is a wonderful swimming pool, everything is very well cared for. Staff are so very friendly and welcoming, this has been one of our favourite places to stay. There are small shops close by and some wonderful places to eat nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was really clean and we had a big spacious balcony too which had some great views. The pool area was nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Staying in this hotel was nice. The room have a fridge which is great. Location is a bit out of city centre, but the staff help you to organize a scooter rental. Thank you so much to the hosts of this lovely cute resort. Situated on a stunning beach with good food available next door plus a local nightmarket Friday nights. I had spent a pretty ordinary week in Cenang and was looking for somewhere secluded and a local taxi driver found Sunset Bay, in a seaside village called Lalang near Four Seasons. And I am so grateful he did. It's set on about an acre with hammocks, bbq, yoga/meditation shala all overlooking the ocean. Even though I travelled solo I felt right at home and made new friends straight away from all over the world. The rooms are modern and immaculate. It's definitely an Island Time kinda place. I hired a scooter for a couple of days. The island is safe as long as you drive slowly and keep a proper lookout for the unpredictable - usual gig. The whole experience was one of my favourite holiday times ever. Thank you.

Very quiet place with private beach. Some wrote that impossible to swim. That's right, just in front of the resort at low tide there are stones but only 100 meters to the right and there is a very long deserted sandy beach many kilometers long. There are only 6 numbers in the resort, few people, birds sing in the morning. For lovers of silence and walks along the beach is a great place. There are two free bikes, although old but it's nice that you can take they. There is also a rental of a scooter, we took it for a day to go to the sky bridge and to see the island, it cost 45 ringit. The rooms are cozy and clean. There is a cooler where you can refill your bottle with water. They also use separate garbage collection, which is nice. The staff is friendly.

Amazing property right on the beach. I booked two chalets for two nights for my family. I loved the resort as it had a lovely private beach with its own wooden gazebo. I spent many hours sitting in the gazebo reading my book listening to the sound of the waves. The water pressure in the bathroom was very little and can be improved. It would be lovely to have a mosque in the area to offer prayers and be woken up by the call to prayer. Thankfully the big mosque is only a 2 minute drive away. For breakfast we went to the kapala cafe. Very nice however slightly overpriced with a 5% service charge? (See my review) Also worth a try is the Dewan Thai restaurant. Was cute to see signs on the coconut trees “beware falling coconuts!!!” Lovely resort with a lovely family management.

Considering the price (and prices of other hotels on the northern coast of Langkawi), this cottage is really a gem. 3 cottages (2 independent rooms in each) + 1 room in the building shared with the reception: brand new and extremely clean. The beach is less than 50 meters away and directly accessible from the cottage ground. Breakfast is not included but there are tables available close to the beach (and under the shadow of nice trees) where you can have your own breakfast. Available as well a shared kitchen with cutlery, kettle, toaster, oven... Extremely convenient and there are at least 2 well stocked supermarkets in the village. Next door is a simple and very affordable restaurant, where both locals and tourists can have dinner. Car highly advised (though Grab is probably an option as well).

We researched quite a bit and think this beach is the best place for you if you want a relaxed and laid back beach vacation. And if you want to stay at this beach Sunset Bay Cottage is the best option. The Bungalows are clean and comfortable, the staff has been very helpful and friendly and the beach front location is just spectacular. You will enjoy going swimming in the ocean, relaxing in the shadow, watch colourful birds and of course see the beautiful sunsets. The little Warung nearby is really good and there is a weekly market in town with nice food option (make that daily whilst Ramadan). In February we did not have any problems with mosquitos, the few we saw only came out at dawn.

The location is pretty accessible to most of the local restaurant and the largest shopping mall in town. Staff were friendly and the housekeeping staff keeping their floor really clean. Came here for a 2 day trip with family. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. The buffet was good and provided lots of options. Location was perfect, close to Amar Central and shopping.

guest not inform that room that i get is connecting room. please inform to guest when check in. was room is conenting or not. room was ok, just for toothbrush need call reception.

It's situated in a highly strategic location, within walking distance of Aman Central mall. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, the bathroom is impeccably clean, and the air conditioning provides a pleasantly cool atmosphere

I like this hotel.. and we get special parking because we have baby.. and easy to park near lobby hotel..

Staff very friendly,but i hope u can improve taste of food especially the Nasi Lemak one for breakfast,rest room and swimming pool need more hygiene and clean,room a bit dusty and less clean,also the window..i hope can improve for the next my trip..overall ok..tq for ur servis

Fast check in. Hotel location near a lot of tourist attractions, a lot of hawkers nearby, swimming pool is clean. helpful reception team & free baby cot made it easier for sleeping arrangements.

Spacious. Comfortable. Multiple option for TV channel. Iron and ironboard inside the room, no need to call for iron. We have weighing scale in the bathroom. CU mart and family mart are just walking distance. Lots of stall/hawker infront of it. Lotus is just walking across. Staffs are very friendly. Recommended to stay here.

The room is spacious. The bed is very firm. The TV channels are very good. The city view is very good. Lotus's is just in front of the hotel and there are many shops nearby. The breakfast is very good with a lot of variety of food.

I was staying here for 1 night and i give 5 stars for all aspect. The price is super reasonable even if i include the breakfast. The room also spacious and the light switch all touch screen. They also got dnd mode and makeup room light whenever you turn it on, people at the outside know that you're not available or dont want to be disturb. It also got mini fridge, iron facilities, praying mat, and kiblat sign. All good

The staff is wonderful! We got upgraded to the Executive Suite once arrived. The price we paid is a steal! A 4 star hotel paying less than RM 200 a night. The rooms are spacious, Wifi is great!! The TV has a lot channels you can watch as well. The tub is amazing to soak in!

Everything about this hotel i love. I stay only for 1 night with my hubby and 2 kids. They love it so much. Very comfy, clean and best. 🩷🩷🩷

It's my 2nd stay because I have a bathtub and a comfortable spacious room. Peaceful even though it's in the city center. Bathtub was great
