We loved the location and the house, very clean and well equipped. If you look for a place to relax away from city rush this is the place to go. Kids loved the pool. Owners are very kind and helpful. I strongly recommend this Villa.

The property was amazing. As described and shown in the pictures. We were 6 adults and a three year old, used the pool and the bbq. The house was well equipped and very clean. A lot of beach and food options nearby.

Location was great, very quiet but a 20 min walk to the town and beach. House was lovely, clean and had all appliances we needed Pool and garden was perfect, very well maintained

This is by far z best combination any can get ; A Professional team with gorgeous house , its a STATE OF Z ART HOME FROM A 2 Z , 4 floors that we got anything u can think about…….pool /4 different full sea view terraces , all rooms r master with panoramic views , house appliances r top brands and tech. , extreme relaxing location with access to best beaches and facilities , gym very nice , roof with BBQ FACILITY , Big screens tvs everywhere , central aircon top , spacious rooms even inside elevator which was very helpful and efficient, so nice quiet area with private garage for our car with even spaces outside. One more and important point : the team handling z house R EXTREME PRO AND HELPFUL u feel u r with a family Whom r there all day to assist and help u in any thing AND SPECIAL SPECIAL THANKS AND GREETINGS TO KRISTINA whom was really such a nice supportive person from z welcome till we departed.

Best property of all! I used to travel quite often and I can say that this is the best villa I have rented through Booking !!! Everything is top quality, and the managers, Vicki Christina and Nicholas, are incredibly helpful, and they give the best suggestions. Only a 5 star hotel can compete with this Villa, but sure not with this kind of professional hospitality. Well done of Bill and John team for such a great job!

Vi blev godt modtaget ved ankomsten, blev vist rundt og vejledt om brugen af huset af havemanden, som var meget venlig og hjælpsom. Vi fik hans telefonnummer til brug ved behov for hjælp. Haven blev passet, poolen blev renset og rengøringsdamen var meget grundig. Der er flere balkoner og terrasser, herunder mulighed for at nyde udsigten over bjergene og kig til vandet og solnedgangen. Der er ikke en egentlig by i nærheden, men dog flere gode restauranter i gåafstand. Der er en velassorteret bager, og både minimarkeder og et større supermarked i rimelig afstand. Vi havde en dejlig ferie både børn og voksne.

Villa Noa was perfect for our family trip. The pictures did not do the size or layout of the property justice as there was so much more space than we realised. The pool and outside space was brilliant. The owner was very thoughtful leaving milk and fresh pastries/bread for when we arrived. The villa is a short walk from the beach and restaurants and not far from the airport. We rented a car and it took 40 minutes to visit the centre of Athens. Perfect place to stay

I really recommend this place. Very comfortable and relaxing.

This was a stunning property to stay in. From start to finish everything was well organised with excellent communication. Even when we had queries after hours we had a very quick response. The view is amazing and everything about the property is peaceful and quiet. It was very private land and felt very safe. There is a loverly restaurant at the end of the road, anywhere else is a little bit of a drive away but with a hire car this was not an issue, and what we wanted from our stay. The property is very spacious and clean and it felt as though they had thought of all options when considering the amenities. Would highly recommend!!

Location, location, location. The location is absolutely fabulous for a relaxing break from it all. Photos of the views really don't do the villa justice. If you want to swim in the sea, then there are two beaches within a very short walk. Very helpful management, who sorted the small problems that we had very rapidly. There is a super little village bakery which makes the most delicious sweet and savoury pastries. However, certainly not for a bustling city break with lots of local attractions. We are very likely to return to the villa in the future, which is about as good a recommendation as you can get.

The apartment was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The area was quiet, and the car park felt safe. It was also conveniently close to a metro station with parking, making travel to the city center easy and hassle-free. The apartment had beautiful views, and the communication with the owner was excellent. Overall, a great place for a high-quality and relaxing stay.

A beautiful house with stunning views and the most generous and hospitable hosts. The house is lovely. It is up a very steep hill but worth it for the views (we hired a Nissan Micra and it struggled). Elisabeth is so lovely and prepared the most amazing breakfasts, with everything home cooked - She comes in and lays it out and it is ready for you when you get up. It was my sons 21st Birthday and Elisabeth made him a fantastic cake for which she refused to take payment and she arranged a restaurant for us to go to in the evening overlooking the Temple of Poseidon and the beach. The house has everything you need and the pool area and pool are wonderful. The cleaner Katerina, comes in every day but she is not at all intrusive. The town of Lavrio has shops and supermarkets and is a 5-10 min drive away. It also has a harbour from where we took a fantastic boat cruise to 2 of the local islands to swim and get lunch. We also took a trip to Thorikos and to the Silver mines in the Sunio National Park, organised by Elisabeth and of course there is the Temple of Poseidon from which to watch the sunset. It was quite windy but that was very welcome as kept the temperature down to a pleasant warmth.

Loved the views, the pool and the lovely breakfast provided by Elisabeth. She was a perfect hostess and made us feel really welcome and brought us pool toys for the kids. We visited some great historic sites too - temple of Poisidon, Athens and the amphitheatre at Thorikos.

The whole place, the hosts, the breakfast, the athmosphere, the view, the pool, the cleanliness and the kindness we met were 5 stars with capitals.

Very good service. We went after the fires. The house was not affected on most parts but the service made up for it. The swimming pool was the best our friend group has experienced. The house was clean and tidy. The housekeeper was not amused by the way we left the house, but in the end we were happy with the experience. Her dog was very friendly.

We stayed at the villa with a group of 8 friends for 5 days to celebrate my birthday. The villa is really beautiful and spacious. Everything was as advertised. Ioanna and her mother, who lives next to the villa, are really nice people and helped us with everything. We had such a great time, thank you so much for everything!!

The host was there to meet us and explained everything about the villa. When we had a little problem working out the dishwasher, she was right there to help us out. The host also ensured we had a safe departure and was very attentive to our needs.

Villa Noaina is your home from home, it has everything a family would need and want for a Villa escape. Ioanna couldn’t have done more for us when we stayed, she has the most beautiful place, very well maintained and nothing was too much trouble.

The hosts were always available and it’s an immaculately maintained property. Genuinely nice people who were always eager to help. They have their own mini bus which was great for our group of 7 including kids.

The house is amazing, beds comfortable, the pool area and pool house is fantastic - We had a brilliant few days here in this perfect hacienda - there were drinks and snacks in the fridges which meant no urgent need to go to the shops - we would definitely stay here again. There are also loads of great restaurants in the nearby town..

Great views. Very clean and organized unit layout. Very nice on site property owners who prepare an amazing breakfast. Only 10 minutes driving form Town. A car is a must.

Second time booking this amazing property! Very comfortable for 6/8 persons, with a descent sized pool and breathtaking view (especially from roof-top). Staff was responsive and accommodating! Two big supermarkets nearby and plenty restaurants to order around.

Nice, spacious and clean house. Well appointed kitchen. Good aircon. We were with 8 adults and there is enough space for everyone. The 4 story lay-out is very convenient: 2 couples sleep at the ground floor, first floor is living area, 2 couples sleep on the second floor and a great rooftop terrace at the top. It is recommendable to have a car available. You can practice your skills for small corners and steep slopes😜

Fantastic villa over 3 levels, close to the top of the hill with terrific view from the rooftop and all needed accessories for a complete leisure holiday. Very friendly staff: Alexandra welcomed us in a perfect way, and suggested us every possible beach / club / supermarket in the neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Spectacular view, plunge pool amazing, new build, spotlessly clean. Host was fabulous and attentive to any question. Peaceful. Codes for front gate and door made it easy to come and go. Safe in bedroom. Host was sensational and arranged late check out for us which was so so good

The view from the suite was amazing. It was also very quiet. The pool was nice to have also for when it was really hot. We did not have a car and the location was walkable to get to Porto Rafti although it took about 20 minutes. Stamatis was very helpful and responsive. We had a few issues figuring out the air conditioning and he was easy to contact and helped us get it going.

Very modern and spacious place, loved the outdoor pool, bed was comfy and our host called to check on us if all is good. We loved the location on the mountain side where there was a lovely view on the bay especially the lights during night time. We really enjoyed our stay.

the bottle of wine was lovely, and the pool was amazing to swim both in the day and at night.

Great location and amazing property. The rooms were very spacious the garden/pool area was fantastic. We were 6 guests and we spent all of our 2 days at the property, as we couldn't find a reason to go somewhere else. There were always parts of the garden under the shade, throughout the whole day.

Amazing location, walking distance to everything you need while still being peaceful & private. Loved proximity to the sea, the pool, the outside space, main bedroom & roof terrace & balcony are incredible. The owner George is very friendly & helpful.

It was spotless and the layout and decor was lovely. The pool and outdoor bbq were a bit highlight for us!

The house is beautifully designed and has everything you need. The pool and surrounding land with olive and almond trees creates a serene space for relaxing and enjoying time with the family. Every detail was thought of- a fully equipped kitchen with complimentary olive oil, wine and biscuits, bathrooms with Korres products for us to use, quiet nooks for reading, a ping pong table, and a playroom with projector downstairs for watching movies. So much attention to detail is given to provide a comfortable stay. Our hosts were wonderfully generous, communicative and kind. We can't thank them enough and highly recommend this unique home!

It was a perfect locational to access Athens and see all of the ancient sites in the area but also to access all the beaches, or simply stay home by the pool in the cooling breeze.

Only 20 minutes from the Airport which was good after a 4 hour flight. ! Communication with the owner (Yannis) was excellent. He was very accommodating and even bought a new sofa bed for 2 extra guests. The villa is on a main road but you cannot see the road once inside the grounds and it is next to a supermarket which is very handy. The property is very secure with large grounds so no fear of the children getting out ! The bbq and pool area were fantastic. The caretaker is very close and responded straight away when we had a slight issue with one of the Air con units. Nothing was any bother.

The sophistication and comfort of Villa Emily was like stepping back into the Golden Age of Cinema. The high windows and deep terraces; the grand piano with the Mediterranean glinting in the background; the layout of the kitchen, which allowed you to serve drinks and lay dinner at the same time; the upstairs balcony with its sweeping view to the sea; even the two bedrooms linked with swing doors to their respective nurseries. It was really a glimpse into how life used to be: and how it can be still!

The serene feel of the property and of the surrounding views. The warmth ,availability and helpfulness of those managing the property. We loved our holiday in Villa Emily. The villa is beautiful. You can see that a lot of love and attention has been invested in this property over many years. Yannis was a dream host. Well in advance of our arrival he emailed us comprehensive details about the villa and location. We found this very helpful. Yannis contacted us several times to ensure that everything ran smoothly. He was also available if you had any further questions. There is a supermarket next door which we found very useful. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. There are also several cafes, bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. It is a lovely location to stay in.

These villas are super close to the beach and in close proximity to an amazing beach restaurant that serves fish and seafood. You literally walk 1-2 mins and you are there. The nearby beach has a stunning terraced view, the actual sand has an insane fine texture. The actual rentable sunbeds beach has a gulf like structure, and from there you can see the hills emerging from the water. The villas are cozy, a bit on the small side, quite minimalistic. The shower has great pressure and flow. They provide enough sunbeds. The pool is good for a quick dip and refresh. Very clean property, the upstairs terrace was also greatly appreciated cause of the sea view and also the downstairs outdoor dining table was so so useful. Last gen smart TV also appreciated, coffee pods, nespresso machine. Will definitely come back to this hidden gem.

Nice welcome to the hotel and checked in via a buggy. Lovely pools, sunbeds / loungers and beach access with brilliant views. The room was very nice, good views and the properties were of good standard and well maintained. Easy to get around the complex. The Japanese restaurant and the lunch menus were of a very good standard with very tasty food. The buffet food was however very disappointing - below average standard, bland, chewy etc so we often had to resort to the paid-for restaurants meaning our half board was a waste of time. For dinner at the buffet there are also no refreshments provided with these having to be paid for. The service was also lacking, particularly at the pool and beach bar, where staff at the bars would refuse to acknowledge you while you stood there waiting. The waiters who walked around the pool area were much more attentive. Towels at the beach bar are also a long wait to get hold of. Strangely at the beach bar, despite tables being available, we were told we could not order food and only drinks one evening. Information on the app regarding opening and closing times does not align with reality, as Il Centro is in fact closed for dinner despite what the app says. While staying there was also a wildfire nearby and although staff and locals did not appear alarmed, we would have appreciated some sort of message from the hotel to clarify their standpoint and any potential evacuation procedures.

It’s our 3rd time here, love that place, perfect vacation even in your own city, the pools with warmish water (not the usual freezing cold in Greece), good prices at the pool bar, the food breakfast & dinner is just amazing, variety & freshness, the extra touch for my daughters birthday with beautiful cake, gummy bears & other sweets waited in our room, Will def come back.

We stayed in a more expensive room with nice view. Not all rooms are like this. The hotel and facilities are good and well maintained. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast is great and the staff is very nice and attentive. We did not like the fact that the pools open only at 10:00 and there is always a line of people waiting in front of the pools. We really did not like the fact that the seating on the beach is free only in the far locations. You have to pay for the good positions and it is not easy to find an empty beach bed. The hotel is ideal for families with children.

Lovely hotel, beautiful design, gardens and rooms. Loved the flowers and way the place was maintained and looked after. Great that there was a semi private beach also which had great sunbeams and cabanas exclusively for guests.Very comfy bed, great mattress and pillows. Decent gym and the pools are well kept and clean. Requested a quiet room and got one which was lovely, really nice balcony and the window designs great along with a screen for the balcony door so could have fresh air in the room versus just air con. Service to the sunbeds when at pool or beach was great, very reasonably priced food and drinks.

The Resort is very relaxing. We came with the whole family, including two 2years old, and we enjoyed very much from the pools, especially from the pool next to the Japanese restaurant. It was very quiet, more free sunbeds and less people and staff. The breakfast was great! With fresh orange juice and a large varaity of food. We also liked that the open hours were extended. The kids club was great with a very Nice staff!!! The golf carts were a great attraction for the kids and very needed.

This is a fabulous hotel with excellent staff, food and drinks. Everyone was really nice and helpful. Our corner-beachfront suite had everything we needed, including plenty of plugs by the bed and a reading light too. Beds were super-comfy, even the sofa bed. We were able to close off the sofa bed room for privacy, whist they had their own bathroom. The small pool on our deck was not heated, but there is a hot tub on the property, as well as a sauna and indoor (unheated) pool. Kostov? the Bartender filled us in on the local sights and was really funny. The Beach has a lovely view and the waves calmed down on the 2nd day. There is also an unheated pool in front of the restaurant. We were there early April and weather was gorgeous but not quite hot enough for the ocean and pools. Crete is beautiful but be careful driving. I'd say they are even crazier than Athens. I did see lots of families at this resort, and I can see why. The price was excellent for

Wonderful location right on the Aegeon Sea. We were here for 12 days recently as my husband was working nearby. The staff were amazing and incredibly helpful. Veranda Restaurant was fabulous, we had quite a few delicious meals there during our stay. We requested a room change when we first checked in as we don’t prefer a shower over bath arrangement, they organised this straight away. Nothing was too much trouble and I think the staff really enhanced our stay. From the ladies at the front desk, to the ladies at the beach bar and the wonderful restaurant staff we applaud you all. We loved the beachside loungers which were swept clean as soon as they were vacated. Breakfast was amazing, I looked forward to it each morning! Fantastic walk up to the Temple of Poseidon, well worth the walk through the bush and up the road. Easy 10 minute drive to the seaside port of Lavrio where we found more fabulous restaurants, supermarkets and other cute little shops. Although the hotel is quite isolated we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Aegeon.

This was a perfect stay for two days before our long flight back to New York. Perfect location in a horseshoe bay with crystal clear calm water with sand. Having the Temple of Poseidon on the nearby hilltop illuminated at night and with a regatta of sailboats nestled outside the bay was picturesque. The free breakfast was plentiful with all options and the staff was great. I have to give 5 stars to the restaurant and the chef. The food was outstanding for dinner after sunset. Compliments to the wait staff for personality and recommending great desserts. We did not have to pay for the contour Sunbeds with umbrella. Also on the umbrella pole was a service button for wait service at the Sunbeds. Great feature!! Outdoor service was great. The front desk was very attentive to our needs and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!!

It was an amazing time. Everything was perfect. We were with 2 children, 4,5 year and 6 month baby and it couldn't be a better place Exceptionally clean, the cleaning ladies are perfect Breakfast is not huge, but very fresh and tasty, the girls at the bar knew what we drank and coffee was waiting every morning on our table while we were taking the food. And one of the highlights is the massage. The woman who is doing it, she is magician. It worse to take 1 hour and forget about evefything.

The property is on a small bay with a spectacular view of Poseidon’s Temple. It is a very peaceful location. The vibe is “tranquil”. I would love to have spent a week! The breakfast offered was a good variety of breakfast food. The phyllo pastry was fresh and flaky. Some of the best that I had the month we were in Greece! The hotel arranged our transfers which all went as planned. Andriana gets 5 Stars. I forgot my sweater in my room. Andriana went above and beyond the call of duty and had it mailed to me in the US. This is the type of service we received at the Aegeon Beach Hotel.

After disembarking from our Virgin Voyages cruise, we had a full day to relax before our 9 PM flight back to Lisbon, and booking a day stay at Sofitel Athens Airport was the best decision we could have made. We needed somewhere comfortable to unwind, shower, and recharge after days at sea—and Sofitel delivered on every level. The customer service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, allowing us to check in with ease and making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We spent time enjoying the indoor pool and sauna, which felt like such a treat before a long travel day. It was quiet, clean, and the perfect way to decompress. We also ordered room service, and it arrived in under 30 minutes—we were seriously impressed! The spaghetti and burger were both delicious—hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. It was exactly what we needed. And of course, you can’t beat the location—just a 2-minute walk from the airport terminal, which made catching our flight later that evening completely stress-free. We stayed at the Sofitel twice - once in July in a club level room and in August in a superior room. Both times, the rooms were large and the amenities in the hotel were lovely, particularly the pool with panoramic windows. The food in the club lounge was excellent - well prepared and presented with a great variety and in large amounts. The lounge itself is cost, quiet and a pleasant respite after 16 hours of air travel. While in the lounge we met the duty manager Panos Tsilikas, a charming man who spent time talking to us and asking us our opinion of the lounge and the food. Our second stay was on the fly. Our flight had been cancelled so we turned up at the hotel unannounced and were given a room for the night. Unfortunately, our 6.30am flight meant a 3:30am checkout time so we didn’t have time to enjoy the amenities. Overall, we found the staff, service and amenities were excellent and will return to Sofitel in the future.

Our party of 3 couples chose this hotel as it's very close to the airport and was therefore perfect for us to catch our morning flight with a minimum of effort - it is literally a 2 minute walk from the terminal. It was a stopover after a weeks sailing so the comfy bed and lovely bath/shower were especially welcome. Rooms were very clean, spacious and remarkably quiet considering how close to the road and airport it was. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the downstairs restaurant - the food was good and the staff excellent despite it being very late in the evening when we arrived. 4 of our group tried the pool but they thought the water was a little cold and were glad to warm up in the sauna. The rooftop bar was fabulous, with a good selection of drinks. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the service quick. It was a lovely and luxurious stay to end our holiday.

Terrific airport hotel. Literally a walk across the street from the terminal. Room is very nice and comfortable. Able to cast from Netflix or Amazon Prime to the TV. Good shower. Comfortable beds. Noise proofing is solid—not hearing any outside sound whatsoever and we’re facing the airport. Indoor pool on ninth level is a good place to lounge. Small gym too. I had a massage at the spa and it was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Restaurants and bars are expensive but quality is also high. We enjoyed our drinks and dinner on the outdoor terrace at the rooftop bar. Service there was very good. In short, a very nice place to stay before taking our flight out of Athens tomorrow morning.

After a busy time in Athens , this was the perfect escape for a relaxing and quiet time. We booked a seaview room and loved sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset. The hotel has a private area straight onto the beach , lovely pool and outside area. Good breakfast and fantastic restaurant by the pool, food is outstanding, Panteleimon is the man to see there , he was very helpful in advising on choices to suit us. We ate there 3 times in the 5 days that we stayed , as we loved it. The staff are friendly and happy to sort anything out that you need. Special mention to Antonia who suggested a day out to Kea , which we loved. Everything went well for us! Thanks Plaza !

It was the best choice for Porto Rafti. I had a lovely view of the sea from my room right across the road-a walk along the seafront. The room was spacious with an area to unpack my suitcase and a desk. I was getting in late after midnight, so was glad to find a hotel with 24 hour reception. No stress there. Fell asleep to the sound of the sea. The staff were very friendly and professional. The bartender next to the pool was very friendly and we had a nice chat while I was waiting to depart. They have left luggage storage for late check outs. Very accommodating, clean, good hot power shower, with a lift and good buffet breakfast. Perfect. Thank you so much. In warmer months, I’m sure it’s lovely to sit with cocktails around the pool.

A lovely welcome from George and Nancy in the evenings, they were the two main people I saw during my three night stay. But the brief moments that I did see the other two seemed just as nice. My room was clean, fresh smelling sheets and pillows, 👍 I just had a refrigerator in the room, but they did accommodate me for the hot water that I wanted, each day, with no issues whatsoever. The nice view of beach was 👌 exactly what I was looking for. I never used the swimming pool, as they do have access across the street to the beach with beach chairs. But you have to order food or drink from the restaurant. Parking was easy, anyway on the side street or in front. I chose not to have the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. It definitely would be nice if they had a few more shelves in room to put your clothes or toiletries in the bathroom. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I was there for a week or 2 & there was two of us. Also, safety deposit box would be nice. Plus maybe put some form of glass door on the shower, as it does spray everywhere, but the extra shower hose was a nice bonus. Overall was really good for.a 2 star and I will be back, Thank you George and Nancy for wonderful customer service which doesn’t seem to exist at a two or three star hotels.

We needed a last minute hotel to stay near the airport and we wanted a pool and beach. This had both. We checked in at 11 pm and we were hungry. Our ferry was delayed and the hotel had a person at the front desk 24 hours. The cafe was open until midnight kitchen closed at 11:30. I ordered muscles and they were fresh and delicious. Our flight was delayed and for an additional 20 Euro we were able to check out at 2 pm the next day. The room was clean, staff very friendly. The beach was across the street and there were people handing out water. They had snacks to purchase and the chairs and umbrellas were free of charge and entrance to the beach was also free. The room and hotel itself need a makeover. It’s very old, however for what we spent for the night it was clean and safe and a short taxi ride to the airport. We took an uber which was less expensive than their taxi transfer. I would go back again when arriving in Athens.

This hotel was the first we stayed at on our 3 week trip. We felt right st home with comfortable super clean rooms, a very nice breakfast spread, and the beach just out front. The bar and pool were nice at night, and the hotel includes beachfront tables and lounges with restaurant service well past dark. Our rooms were quiet and peaceful, even with the fun happening outside.

The hotel features in a book about the best hotels in the world and attracts many visitors from around the world and closer to home. The sea views from the pool and beach area is simply stunning. With a very well maintained poolside, hotel bars and two restaurants which offer a good choice of drinks, snacks, breakfast and evening meals. But be warned they are a little expensive – we spent about 100 Euros per day for 3 of us (Aug 15) when eating in the morning & evening buffets and drinking a few drinks by the pool. Our room on the 3rd floor was clean, huge, with a great sea view and balcony. Unfortunately, the camping bed (for our little one) was uncomfortable but the hotel staff changed it on the 2nd day. The décor in the hotel is a little dated, with many carpets showing stains and wear, but given the economic climate of Greece, you can forgive them for not spending money on a refresh. This is a lovely hotel, stunning beach side location with friendly staff – you cant ask for much more for a relaxing holiday

I can't say enough great things about our stay here. The staff is very friendly; there are restaurants onsite, and the pool and sea are amazing. We got a sea view room, and the view was spectacular. We didn't want to stay down in downtown Athens in the hustle and bustle of things but wanted a more relaxing atmosphere. The beach at the resort is a private beach so there is plenty of space and chairs/umbrellas for guests. There is a pool bar where you can order drinks and lunch. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants this type of vacation. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind: - I am from the US and am used to the service staff stopping by regularly to check on me, see if I want anything else, read the room, and figure out when I need my check. This isn't the case here. They pretty much leave you alone until you ask for more service. It is just something to get used to. So, if you want another drink or to order something more, you have to flag them down. - We had the hotel arrange a ride from the airport to the resort for us. BEST DECISION EVER! The driver was super nice, and he primarily only works for 3 of the hotels out in the coastal area. So, he was available to us whenever we wanted to arrange a ride for other things. We scheduled 2 different tours with him to the Parthenon and to the Temple of Poseidon. One was 5 hours and he only charged 140 and the other was 3 hours and it was about 80. He also took us back to the airport.

The hotel is located in a small village and has a nice pool and beach. The pool area had plenty of chaise lounges and umbrellas. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning is weak and we had to keep the drapes drawn all day to for the room to get cool. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel restaurant for dinner was great, the gentlewoman who is the restaurant captain was outstanding, she went out of her way to make us welcomed. The dinner menu was very good and everything we had was prepared expertly and with fresh quality ingredients, we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. There are alot of simple restaurants close to the hotel serving typical Greek menus and we did try one of them, the food was cheap and good, but did not compare to the hotel's restaurant, which is why we only ate one meal outside the hotel. I do wish the hotel had a gym, though. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A great place to stay ticked all of our boxes. The location is excellent the pool is lovely and plenty of sun loungers available on the beach and around the pool. Staff are very friendly breakfast is good plenty to choose from. Rooms were spacious and a great sea view. We stayed for a week bed and breakfast the town of palaia fokaia is only a 5 minute walk which is nice and has a good choice of restaurants. I would recommend this hotel

Great resort, I stayed on business but got to use pool and beach and it was fantastic. Service was great, bar staff even walked the private beach serving you. Staff of beach and pool side also assisted with umbrellas and sun beds. I also ate in the beach side resturant and the view was stunning watching the sun set over the mountains and sea. The meal was a very high standard and the cheese cake was a very creative and tasty dish!

It was a fourth of the price of the holiday Inn. It doesn't have amenities to really speak of but the check in man was so nice and even asked when we checked in if we needed a taxi the next day and booked it for us.

The staff is amazing!!! So kind they have made sure to make us feel like home. Such a beautiful family. The rooms are big and comfortable the beds are a good size, the location super convenient and close to the airport.

The location and proximity to the airport suited our needs. The staffs' recommendation for food /restaurants was excellent.

Vicky was the perfect host, she met us when we arrived and then offered two journey weary guests a lift to a lovely restaurant. She had also provided excellent provisions if we had just wanted to stay in. The apartment was large, airy, spotless and beautifully appointed. Everything you could need was provided. The area around the apartment is lovely, with a patio area, sunbathing spot and a large plunge pool for the summer. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

What an AMAZING property. Ours was actually a ground floor work two apartments that share a common wall. It was perfect for our family of three. My husband and I took the larger one and our teenage daughter took the smaller one. The bathrooms were higher than our own back home!!! Spotless, minimal and tastefully done. The grounds had a huge portico, a lawn, and a swimming pool. Was perfect for our one day of unwind close to the airport, after finishing a long vacation and before our flight next day back home. Apartments were well stocked with all necessary amenities including a good quality hair dryer, coffee, some fruit, croissants etc. Hot showers - both rain shower and hand showers were available! Hot water was running. Beds were very comfortable too. Vicky had stocked an amazing brand of Citrus Jasmine shower cream that melted away my stress!!!

We loved everything! Vicky and Demitris organised a taxi to meet us at the airport to drive us to their beautiful apartment. What a lovely surprise. It was spacious, very modern, super clean and beautifully decorated. We had fresh fruit, wine, beer, snacks and all breakfast goodies provided. Vicky was the friendliest, most lovely host and even offered to make us cheese pies as she was worried we hadn't eaten dinner! (We'd eaten on the plane.) We had a really comfortable night and didn't have to leave till 11am. Our plane wasn't leaving until the evening so we didn't know what to do with our luggage. Vicky suggested Demitris drive us into the town where her sister has a cafe and we could leave our luggage there while we spent the day in town. She then organised a taxi to pick us up at 5 from the cafe and take us to the airport. So, lovely Demitris took us into town (no charge) and even took us sightseeing on the way to a lookout. What a bonus. So we spent a fabulous day in town and had a long, lazy lunch on the beach and decided we could easily come back for a holiday at Jimmy's Place. Thank you Vicky and Demitris for your kind welcome and generosity. We won't forget you!

We chose Jimmy's Place because it was close to the airport. You drive along country roads to get to the house. It took a little longer thsn expected because we weren't familiar with the roads. Definitely worth the few minutes extra to get there! ! The hosts , Vicky and Dominic were outstanding. I had to leave for the airport at 4:30 am and Vicky arranged a ride. They were great hosts snd recommended a restaurant in the center of town which was excellent. The room is modern with all new appliances, a walk-in shower, an oven that doubles as a microwave, smalk refri, all amenities. Very well cared for. There is a small patio with table and chairs that look out to a lawn and you can take a walk on a country road toward village area. Relaxing. I needed an ATM and we drove 9 minutes into the center of town to the bank . It is very tranquil. The apartment looks better in person than the photos. I would have liked to spend more time and explore the village and Artemis. Very open feeling. Very secure. When we return to Athens, this will be our go-to apartment. Great place to de-compress. Highly recommended!

Everything! Was a fabulous one night ‘airport’ stopover, but would have liked to have stayed for longer to have a look around. The room was beautiful with loads of ‘extras’. We also liked that it was away from the crowds. Vicky was the best host we’ve ever had -and that’s saying something, as we’ve stayed in probably hundreds of places- and even though we only knew her for a short time, was one of those people that you felt like you instantly knew (we didn’t get to meet her husband). She went ‘above and beyond’ by dropping us at a beautiful beach restaurant for dinner and picked us up when we finished, before rushing off to pick up more guests from the airport. She seems to work nonstop! She also took us for a beautiful sunrise view on the way to the airport to leave. She showed us through her new rooms, just finished and they are stunning. We’ll be letting all our friends and family know about this great stopover.

It was a gorgeous apartment, immaculately maintained and boasting a kitchen that was not only well-equipped but also inviting. She had thoughtfully prepared water and an assortment of snacks for us, a gesture that spoke volumes about her attention to detail and care for her guests. Everything in the apartment was pristine. The beds were made with clean, crisp linens, inviting us to sink into them and forget the exhaustion of our travels. And sink we did, sleeping like babies through the night. It was the most amazing rest we had ever experienced, the perfect end to a long day. This place was more than just a stopover; it was a haven that catered to our every need, making us feel welcome and cared for in every possible way. After such a long journey, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was an unforgettable experience, a true testament to exceptional hospitality.

The hostess arranged personal pick up at the airport by her husband and son for 15euro per car We arrived at 4 pm and during our airport pick up I mentioned an interest in taking my family to Athens to see the Acropolis. On the return trip to the flat the son stopped in at the bus station to find out the bus and train schedule to go to Athens 2euro to go to the train station and 1.4 euros to travel by train to the acropolis. On the way back we had to take a cab from the train station to the flat for 7 euros. The son went out of his way to turn my semi serious inquiry into an adventure enjoyed by the family. Just as a warning not all trains on the blue route go all the way to the airport and turn around so make sure on your return trip the train goes all the way to the airport

The place is quaint, very clean, and comfortable. It is similar to what an Air BnB would be like in the United States. The unit has two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, a patio off the living room/bedroom, and a balcony off the kitchen. It was only two of us, but it would easily be roomy enough for a family of four or just a group of 4 friends. The location is ideal. It is in a neighborhood so you get the feel of being a "Local". It is within walking distance of restaurants and markets. Most importantly, it is close to the airport so you don't have to worry about traffic to or from there. Maria and George the hosts of the property were very friendly, personable, helpful, and accommodating. If I ever return to Athens and want a place near the airport, I would definitely stay here again.

I can't fault the owners or the property. By far the best place we stayed in on our trip to Greece. For a relatively small fee we were picked up and dropped back at the airport. The welcome was warm, as were all our What's App messages prior to arrival. The apartment was a good size, spotlessly clean with a lovely new bathroom, comfortable bed, efficient aircon and 2 outdoor areas. The kitchen was well equipped, with coffee, tea, milk, water and breakfast croissants for us. The washing machine was great as we had lots to wash and they dried very quickly out on the line. There are restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The proximity to the airport makes it a perfect place to overnight before or after your flight. If I could I would give Maria more than a 10!

We stayed here a night at the beginning of our vacation and a night at the end, before and after our flight. The apartment was clean and convenient, it's large and has a nice balcony. Maria and Jorgos were very kind to us, and friendly to our child. I think it offers everything one needs in these situations, it's very close to the airport, and they also offer a ride to and from the airport which we used. There is even a good bakery just around the corner to get sandwiches before your flight, which was also perfect for us. The only thing to notice is to put their correct address when you navigate there, because we learned the hard way that there is another Carpe Diem on the other side of Athens...

The apartment was spacious and had all the facilities you need for a short or long stay. It had a lovely internal courtyard and was spotlessly clean. A nice touch was that continental breakfast was unexpectedly provided - bread, ham, cheese, jam. There was also a small decanter of her homemade liqueur. We have to confess that we had a couple of glasses each and it was delicious! Local restaurants, a bakers and supermarket are within a ten minute walk. Mary was an excellent host and went above and beyond what would normally be expected, especially for a one night stay. She booked our transfer taxis for us from the airport to Lavrio and from the apartment to the port the next day. Mary made our journey seamless and she is a lovely lady. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Lavrio.

I like most is the owner Mary. Very sweet and accommodating. Easy to communicate with even before check in. The apartment is complete with what we needed. There were snacks such as loaf bread, jams, cookies, coffee teas and bottled water. We needed that to sustain us before going downtown for dinner in the evening since we arrived early. The apartment felt like home complete with stove top , refrigerator and toaster etc. She also booked us taxi from Athens airport as well as to the cruise ship terminal. The terminal is a walking distance from the apartment but with luggage a taxi is needed. The apartment is few minutes walk down town where there are lots of restaurants, bakeries and boutiques etc. We enjoyed walking around the town. I’ll definitely stay here again next time.

The host Mary is caring and friendly person. She bothered to call me (from abroad) a day on advance and advise me about the easiest way of arrival (during the late hours in a weekend). The apartment was clean, very spacious, hot water and all the amenities. Mary left a fresh food in the fridge, everything for a tea a coffee in the kitchen. I had a good rest and ate in the morning (Sunday) and walked about 15 minutes to my destination - Lavrio port.

Mary is simply AMAZING. She met us with great hospitality and attentiveness. The apartment is very well equipped and beautifully decorated. One can tell it is done with love and care. What is most unforgettable and special about our experience is that we accidentally left our coats in the closet, and Mary had completely gone out of her way and sent her son to deliver them to the airport (and had turned down our offer to pay). We are grateful beyond words. Thank you Mary!

The property was clean and tidy on arrival. It is in a good location, very close to Lavrio centre and the port which is ideal, as well as a short drive to temple of Poseidon. What really makes this property special is the host, Mary. She is absolutely amazing - she is super welcoming and friendly and was always happy to help with advice and organising taxis etc. This place is amazing value for money and couldn’t recommend staying here enough!

Perfect way to start our Geece vacation. We landed later in the evening and jetted off to Paros the following morning, so we wanted something close to the airport but wanted to experience Greek culture as well versus the traditional boring hotel by the airport. That is exactly what we received with the the Varaba house. We used their Airport pickup which I believe was a family member who was right on time and very personable, so I'd recommend that. It took Maybe 15 minutes or so to get to the house from the airport passing the Greek Countryside along the way which was fun. The house is pretty isolated around large olive tree Groves which was super fun. We walked around the perimeter to get our bearings and really enjoyed the scenery. The house itself is very quaint, very Greek, and very lovely. Our room was comfortable but nothing super fancy. We also enjoyed the home cooked meal which was amazing and very delicious, so I'd highly recommend that. The following morning the same family member took us to the airport around 6:00 a.m. which worked perfectly. We would absolutely stay here again and was a perfect way to start our Greece vacation

Absolutely amazing oasis close to Athens. Lovely, well cared for property with amazing hosts! We felt so welcome & they took such great care. Fantastic, plentiful, homemade dinner was prepared for us at sunset on a picturesque, open air patio complete with Greek music softly playing & birds chirping in the background. They even went above & beyond by signing happy birthday to my Mom & giving her TWO birthday cakes! The room itself was clean, spacious & very comfortable. Everything you need, including coffee & water provided. Communication from hosts was phenomenal & the car service provided to/from the airport in Athens made our stay seamless. This stop over became one of our favorite nights from our entire trip to Greece (for that matter- our whole trip to Europe)! Wish we could have stayed longer in this beautiful, peaceful villa! It was a pleasure meeting all of you! Thank you so very much for all of the details you take care of to make your place magical. It was amazing! It was about 15 minutes from the airport (25Euro) , a renovated country house surrounded by different crops. The pictures posted were very accurate. It was a beautiful property, well decorated home and great place to relax. We had heard the traffic in Athens was bad so we wanted to be close to the airport for our flight out. Breakfast was delicious and filling- cereal, egg, bread and fruit. They can make dinner for you if you arrange it in advance. The staff was very helpful and responsive. They can arrange a taxi for you. It is good to have your destination written in Greek since the taxi drivers we had spoke some English but couldn’t read it. We didn’t go to the beach but it isn’t far away. We took a 45 minute taxi (55Euro) to town to do a 90 minute hop on hop off bus tour of the sights since we didn’t have much time in Athens.

We used Varaba Country House as a one night stop-over on our return leg through Athens Airport. As its name suggests it’s a country house and whilst it’s only 15 minutes from the airport it’s in the middle of the countryside with fig trees, vines and pistachio plantations all around it. Our room was small but perfect for what we needed as a stop-over. Now the best bit, well one of them, the evening meal! All I would say in our two weeks in Greece it was the best meal we had with wine, beer or juice included. The other good thing, the owners and the staff. They treated us like family and made us feel so welcome. Oh, bonus a small traditional church was just outside the front door and we were told it dated back to the 12th century.

I was only there for a brief 8 hour stay to catch an early flight out of Athens the next morning. The hotel property looked beautiful and I wish I had time to enjoy it. I had asked that the host leave a light supper for me. He left a delicious light meal - Greek salad, bread, olives, hummus, and wine. So lovely. He also arranged pick up when I arrived late from Corfu and a ride back to the airport for a very early flight back to the U.S. I highly recommend this as an alternative (10-15 ride) to staying at the airport hotel. So wonderful to feel like you are in an olive grove when you are so close to the airport.

Our driver (I'm ashamed I don't know how name) went out of his way to make sure we got it in time to make our flight. The cane was handmade by my father's nephew and held great sentimental value. I will 10/10 go back when I need a place near the airport.

The host provided transfers to and from the airport; the service he provided was extremely efficient and convenient. His communication was excellent and he was always most helpful. This apartment is an ideal place to stay if you need to be close to the airport. It is quite large, quiet, well-equipped, and pleasantly decorated and furnished. The beds were very comfortable. We found a well-stocked supermarket just a few minutes away on foot. We were completely satisfied with every aspect of our brief stay in this apartment. If we need to stay in the vicinity of Athens airport in future, we will definitely book this place again.

We stayed in the family suite. Quality finishes and exceptionally well maintained. The bedrooms are large, ample wardrobe storage, natural light through the 2 glass doors that lead to a balcony, electric outlets by each bed table for devices to be recharged and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was large by Athens standards, vanity with storage and a large shower with good water pressure. The property manager Tasos was outstanding, great communication from start to finish even meeting with us to ensure our expectations were met.

The apt. Is new clean and in excellent condition. Bed is comfortable. Everything works and the coffee is very good . Tasos the owner is very responsive, helpful and reliable. The property is within a few blocks of a grocery store - Skalvinitis, and a good cafe -pastry -coffee shop which has a supply of some groceries. It is a quiet area and close to the airport. It also has parking off the steeet. There is wifi and a TV in each room.

We arrived in Athens after a long trip and this was the perfect place. We had arranged to be picked up at the airport for a fee. It was very easy and quick. The apartment was so clean and quiet with lots of hot water. The apartment is not scented with chemical scents. The grocery store is 1 minute away. We walked to a very good restaurant nearby. This has been a perfect place to recharge.

The location is perfect for an overnight stopover near Athens airport, you can’t beat the convenience of the in house airport transfer, pool at the property and beach a short walk away. We also walked to the local shops and restaurants which was easy. Our room was big, comfortable and well equipped On a more personal note, my partner fell sick with gastroenteritis the morning before arriving to the villa. Theo organised early check-in for us and as my partner got more sick, he drove us to the medical centre, waited around with us for 3 hours until 1am, translated everything with the doctors and nurses like he was our father. He then called around to find an open pharmacy for the prescription antibiotics and took us there. His kind wife had a pot of white rice ready for my partner to eat when he got home. This place is more than a hotel, it is a family run business where they genuinely care for you. Can’t recommend enough

Most amazing place. Definitely a hidden gem. Close to airport is why we stayed a night but next time we will stay longer. The host organised well priced and efficient pick up from ferry to travel there. Taxis are the hardest and you get ripped off so much so such a relief he did this for us. The place was the most comfortable we stayed in during our 6 weeks in Europe. Best beds and very big room with 2 huge balconies, was like new. Hosts were the kindest most informative people, nothing was a bother. Area is very nice and local people so kind. Great pizza place a quick walk away. Best lasagne we have ever had and we spent a lot of time in Italy. Beautiful beach 5 minutes away. Best pool ever which was well appreciated after travelling. We as a group of 6 travellers loved everything about this place, we took 2 apartments , - very authentic Greek residential area, in with the locals, - yet some fabulous restaurants, small mini market, bakery within walking distance, we were just so sorry we only had one night, -the owners were fantastic, very easy to communicate with, they recommended a restaurant nearby and arranged transport to and from the most beautiful location for a restaurant we have ever eaten at, right on the beach, the food was amazing, - just wished we were more hungry ! The accommodation was spotless, so clean and tidy, and the extra bonus was the beautiful swimming pool. They will even arrange transfers to and from airport or cruise port, - this accommodation is definitely a must if you need accommodation close enough to Athens airport - Look no further, - book this you won’t regret it ! Thank you so much to the loveliest owners !

Where do I start? The whole stay was wonderful and we left with wishes to come back! It's like staying with your "family". From the moment the host greeted us, we felt so welcome. The villa is in great condition. The views were stunning, and especially the calmness of the village was appreciated. The pool was clean and added a nice touch, too. We learned about the history of the place from the host and the little information pack that you could find in your studio. It is helpful since you can find information on every cafe and restaurant near you. They also gave us a little gift, the Greek oregano that they produce. We loved it! We also met Irene, the host's daughter and the person who inspired the name, very lovely people.

We were on the second level and had the apartment to ourselves. It included 2 massive balconies. The front had beautiful views of the ocean. The unit is a 5 minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach. The water is so clean, clear and warm. It is a 5 minute walk to cafes & bars. We also walked along the beach to Artemida for breakfast. We had dinner as recommended by the host in the same suburb at Arhontiko. It had great seafood and service was outstanding. The unit had all the facilities to make it an enjoyable stay and a great pool. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. They allowed us for an earlier check in as room was ready. Communicate was great via WhatsApp. Thank you.

Kitchen with fridge and complimentary cold water, very nice touch. The best air conditioning we had during our vacation in Greece, you let it run for 30 minutes and you're good for the night. They store your big luggage until you're back, if you need. BEST part the hosts are VERY nice and helpful. They answer your texts in less than 5 minutes and accommodate you the best they can. Nikos will pick you up or take you to the airport anytime, and he was also there when we arrived at 12 a.m. LOVELY people, Nikos and Elektra.

I suppose the vast majority of travelers chose this property for a short stay after or before a flight from Athens main airport Venizelos. So it is not about a luxurious stay but a practical one. From this point of view the location is excellent, 10-15 minutes drive from property to airport. We have had an apartment with two bedrooms and one living ( and a generous balcony with a table and chairs). Very clean overall, bearing in mind the effort of the host to change the beds - most probably - every day. Every room has air-con. TV in the living and everything you need in the kitchen. Although we had only a free afternoon we had a nice walk in the charming neighbourghood with nice villas with mediteraneean trees and flowers. A small amphitheater with a pleasant live music and therases are in close proximity. Last but not the least I want to thanks to the hosts - Nikos and Electra for such a good care and helpfulness including the transport from and to airport. I will return to them with the next ocasion.

We needed a room as close as possible to the airport, and this was close enough. We met the hostess, who was waiting for us. She showed us the room and gave us the keys. Then we asked Nikos to help us with the shuttle to drop the car at the airport - which he did as soon as we asked, and again in the morning before our flight. It was a great help & a pleasant service. The room & shower were clean, and the beds were comfortable. We will come again to Double M near Athens Airport!

Excellent location for our short stay during transfers being near the airport. Would also be good to access local beach as Street parking is available. Nice town centre within walking distance with excellent bakeries and Cafés. Best shower on our trip to Greece. Kitchen available for good provisions of bottled water, tea and coffee. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and our room had an outdoor area. Good communication with the owner. Transfers available at a reasonable price (MM logo on vehicle). Good to use Whatsapp for transfer communications.

The accommodations were excellent. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and had clean bedsheets and towels. The apartment complex is well-maintained, both inside and outside, and there are cameras for safety. The apartment is located very close to the airport (less than 10 min drive) and the hosts offer pick-up/drop-off transportation for a reasonable price. On top of that, the host is extremely kind, thoughtful, and very responsive. I highly recommend this apartment and look forward to returning when I visit Greece next.

The apartment is extraordinarily beautiful! In reality it looks much better than in the photos. It is an oasis of peace from where you can see a gorgeous sunset! We chose a 2-room apartment with a sea view. Modern, new apartment, equipped with the necessary utilities for a family vacation. Everything is clean and new. The complex also has an interior garden for relaxation. It also has an underground parking lot where we left our car. The staff is very nice, we received all the necessary information for our vacation from the moment we arrived. They guided us to the nearby beaches, shops, restaurants, etc. In the room upon arrival, cold water, fruit, wine, sweets were waiting for us. Across the road from Olives is an undeveloped beach but quiet and secluded exactly as we wanted. There are also developed beaches 15 minutes walk away in both directions. For traveling to the surrounding locations, shops, restaurants, other beaches, it would be good to have a car for transportation because it is very hot in the summer and it helps more. Some days we ordered food from the restaurants around and it was very good, fresh and at a good price. I recommend Mario Suvoulaki who was extraordinarily good. I congratulate the staff at the reception, from the cleaning for the work and the daily effort they make to keep this place so welcoming for the guests! We will definitely come back to this place. Thank you very much!

Traveled with my bestie, we've had a 2-bedroom apartment. It looked and felt brand new, elegantly designed, super comfortable and accessorized! The host has taken care of every little detail, even mosquito repellent in every room! Beautiful seafront balcony and apartment was indeed very spacious. It really had everything we needed and even more. But the real highlight of this place is the superb service. Staff is more than pro and friendly. They genuinely care about their guests. Their smile and honest eyes have made us happy, feeling that we were well taken care of.

There were people available to help us through check-in and take the time to give a thorough tour of the property. They surprised us with a garage parking spot and access to a washer & dryer, and delighted us with a gift basket of snacks, wine and cold bottled water. The property is handsomely appointed and had everything we needed to be comfortable, including a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and coffee maker. The air conditioning was cold and the view was amazing.

I absolutely loved it! The apartments are very modern, spacious and beautifully designed. Everything was very clean with great attention to detail. The location is very convenient as besides the beach that is 2-minute walking distance, there are plenty other beach bars and restaurants nearby. Not to mention the breathtaking ocean view! I will definately be back and would 100% recomment! (Although its always easy to find a taxi, a car would help if you want to explore the area)

The three people who worked the front desk at varying times of the day. They were so kind and helpful. All three went above and beyond. One woman was going to get a ladder to help with a burnt out bulb, which didn't bother us, but we wanted them to know for future guests. One woman helped with our air conditioning control, and a man (at 5 am) searched for and opened a new box of coffee pods so I could have an extra one before we left. The driver to and from the airport was also very nice and helpful. We discovered he's from Crete, where I have friends, so we had a lovely conversation. Please consider tipping him for his hard work. I paid 75 dollars for a ride from the airport to our hotel in central Athens, so a 10 - 15 tip for the shuttle is a value and shows respect. I was bothered that we were the only ones in a full van who tipped. The room was spotless clean, and we loved there was plenty of space to easily move luggage. Also, there is a fantastic restaurant across the street and a great coffee shop/market next door.

Excellent location & close to airport. Located across from a church, so the church bells are quite loud if facing the church (Room A3). We had a very spacious balcony and would have appreciated some furniture or chairs to be able to enjoy it more. The Red Pepper Grill across the street (12:00-00:00) was fantastic and affordable! Eight minutes walk from a grocery store with a mini-mart next door (beer!). Wifi was super fast and easy to access, even from the restaurant across the street! Elevator was small hit accessibility was no problem. If you have a wheelchair, it might pose some issues. We used the elevator primarily to shuttle 3 large bags up and down. Going to Airport transportation was timely, do plan to pay 5 Euros to be dropped off close to Departure area as this does cost money to access. Overall a fantastic stay and good transit hotel. Will definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

Close to the airport. The staff was superb and so helpful. They let us check in early, after getting off our cruise and even booked a taxi for us to the airport because we needed one very early the next morning. We were here on a Sunday but were directed to a square a short walk away that had cafes, markets, an ATM, etc. There is also a tiny market next door with snacks and drinks, a restaurant across the street and we found a take out pizza place on Google Maps that was only a few blocks away. There was a fridge in the room which was perfect for storing drinks. The room was comfortable and clean and had a nice balcony with doors to let the breeze in.

Superb experience, beginning from the excellent communication from the hotel prior to my trip, ranging through the private Mercedes taxi transfer from the airport to the property (included in the very reasonable rate), the basic but clean and modern room and finally the prompt transfer back to the airport for an early morning flight. I should also mention the nearby facilities, such as quite a classy supermarket next door, the excellent restaurant across the road and all the friendly little street cats around the town. I would totally recommend booking this hotel with absolute confidence that you will be looked after by the wonderful staff and the often fraught airport transfer experience will be handled with a professionalism seldom seen at other hotels.

This property was an absolute gem in more ways than one. Christos, the owner, went above and beyond anything that was expected. I travel for a living and, rarely, have experienced the hospitality that he exhibited to my family. We were traveling back from Crete and needed a place for us to spend the night in Athens prior to catching a flight back to the US. Having three girls involved with my travels, I wanted to make sure that we had a safe, comfortable place for them...kinda like to spoil them when we travel. This property hit the mark on all levels. Our only regret is that we did not get to enjoy the surrounding neighborhood. It is an oasis from the busy atmosphere of the big city and has many attractive restaurants and bars within two blocks. We needed to get to the Metro to go to see the usual tourist attractions downtown and Christos connected us with a trusted driver, Stephano. He dropped us off at the nearest station, picked us up, and drove us to a harbor area to have a last night in Greece dinner. The location to the airport was the cherry in the top when we had a last minute change to our travel plans the next day and had to be there as soon as possible. Being only a ten minute ride, it worked in our favor. To wrap it up, I look forward to utilizing Christos' property next time passing through Athens. Do not hesitate to book and enjoy this diamond in the rough.

Very convenient location, close to the airport (10 minute taxi) and close to restaurants, cafes and bakeries. The apartments were quiet and serviced by a convenient lift for luggage and for those who struggle with stairs. The apartments were well appointed, clean and comfortable beds. They remained cool thanks to airconditioning and black out curtains and blinds. Small kitchenette with a coffee machine and fridge - stocked with complimentary water bottles which was a nice touch. The lack of a traditional "check in" (you get a code to enter the apartment, was fabulous. When you are tired from travelling, going straight into your apartment is just what you want. That't not to say the stay wasn't personal, owner Christos was in constant contact via whatsapp and provided quick, and friendly responses to any questions we had. He was thorough, professional and easily contactable. We would 100% recommend this place to stay. Excellent hosts and accommodations.

I really enjoyed my stay in this apartment. It is completely new, very clean and designer decorated. Since I am an interior designer myself, interior was very important for me when I’m choosing a place to stay, even for a couple of days Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, and even the light can be adjusted in different ways, just like in modern hotels. There is everything you need for a shower, also refrigerator, coffee machine and teapot. Tea and coffee capsules are also provided. There are plates, glasses, cups. The bed is very comfortable, the shower is big anough, there is a large mirror in bathroom. There is also a large balcony with exits from different sides, which allows you to ventilate the room without using air conditioning. There are many cafes and restaurants in 2 min walk from the apartment on the square.

It so nice to find this small hotel type accommodation in a last min after my flight was canceled. It is close to the airport, just about 10 min by taxi, located in the town center and has all the necessary around. The room was super comfortable, well designed, looked the same as in pictures or even better , spacious enough and cozy. All was fresh and clean, nice bed linen, white fluffy towels etc. The owner was friendly and helpful and always in touch. He organized me the transfer from/to the airport and also let me check out a few hours later . Thank you Christos , I had a great experience staying at your place !

Very easy access without keys. The room was very clean. Just a few meters from city center but really very quiet . Easy to park (free) around. Easy access to Athens airport. It is more like a 5 stars hotel room and not a like common airbnb apartment. Different spaces for WC and bathroom. Coffee machine with welcome espresso tabs. General very good ratio between value and price and for sure one of the few accommodations that the real room is much better than the pictures in the internet. For sure I would like to stay again.

After reading all the reviews of people who only stayed here one night en route to the airport, I felt quite smug to book 4 nights and get to really enjoy all the delights of Villa Vravrona. Entering the villa from the main drive at night was quite spectacular - seeing the gardens and pools lit up and a warm welcome from Maria made for a very special greeting. The suite (small apartment) was beautifully decorated and very comfy for our family of 4 (5yo and 10yo), with access directly out to the pool area across the lawn. it has a full size fridge and small kitchen area so we could prep lunches, while breakfast was taken care of with eggs, cereal and donuts for the kids. the lovely Eleni made sure they always had plenty donuts and made a real fuss of the kids, such a kind woman. the beds were comfy, the kids bedroom was gorgeous (small with steep stairs up), the shutters blocked out all the light perfectly and we got some of the best sleeps in the quiet at Villa Vravrona. The semi private pool was great, the hammocks were relaxing and the bar/glasshouse at the opposite end of the lawn served lovely drinks and meals on request. We of course tried the excellent moussaka! Such a lovely, tranquil place in beautiful surroundings, really quite special. And very handy for the airport but I’d recommend staying for more than one night so you’re not disappointed to leave!

The grounds were beautiful with 2 swimming pools, hammocks, lounge chairs with outdoor sitting areas. It was in the country which had low traveled roads for walking or running to get exercise, along with the pool. The restaurant opened for dinner at 7pm which had a chef on site, cooking the meals. There was breakfast items in the room to eat if you had to leave early to catch an outgoing flight. I recommend using their taxi service, very reliable and on time.

Beautiful surroundings. Room had everything that you would need and staircase to 2 extra beds so very suitable for a family. The owner was lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. There are 2 swimming pools and an area with children’s toys and a pool table. If you want a quiet place to relax or a family break this is perfect. I believe it would also suit artist or couples wanting a little hideaway for a weekend. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere surrounded by groves of trees, open spaces and pure clean air. Simply beautiful

My wife and I were trying to find someting out by Athens Airport with easy access to the Airport in the morning. The full service airport hotels were pretty expensive so we looked for something a little further out without being back in Athens itself. The AVR suites fit the bill and the price was right. What we didn't know at the time was that the two brothers who own the property also run a taxi service (more later). The property itself was really very nice and was obviously almost brand new. The facilities were well thought out and not small or cramped by any means. This was the end of a long trip to Greece so we had a few other properties to compare to. There is a traditional coffee and pastry shop a very short walk down the street (2 mins ?). About a 6-8 min walk puts you in the town center where there are multiple places to eat. It was dark walking back but we felt safe enough and the town center is definitely walkable. Being from the US we don't use WhatsApp very much at all but you are going to need it in Greece. Anyway, once we found out the Property communicates using WhatsApp life got a whole lot easier. The property owners picked us up at the bus station in Athens and took us to the property and took us to the airport the next morning. We didn't need to them to do this but they made it so easy and the price was what we would pay anyway. Its nice to have a taxi meet you at the bus station, and to know it will be there as arranged in the morning.

AVR's facility was easy to find, in a nice area. We were more than pleased with the cleanliness of the room, the nicely stocked kitchenette which, unfortunately for us, we had too little time to enjoy. The A/C worked well as did the smart TV, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious and immaculately clean. I found this room by chance and I am very glad we went ahead and booked it! And, we were able to park our car directly in front of the building, and off the street which kept it safe and convenient. Also, the staff member we dealt with, Akis, was very cordial and pleasant, explained the room features for us, helped us with our luggage, and gave us several good suggestions for both dinner and breakfast.

Great location from airport (5 min taxi) and easy to drive to and from if you are renting a car and dont want to navigate downtown Athens. The family that own the apartment met us there, helped carry all our bags in and out of the home and even bought us coffees ;) They also have a taxi company so you are not getting ripped off from the airport and can come and get you or take you to catch your flight. Anyone looking for a one night close to the airport this is the best one so far and we have come to greece many times. Also a pharmacy, coffee shop and bakery within walking distance, supermarket 5m from the home if driving.

Stayed here for our last night in Athens. We were very happy with the convenience and cleanliness of the suite. Akis was quick to respond to our communication through Expedia and was there to greet us when we arrived. I only wish we would have scheduled a transfer with Akis or Vanois from the ferry as it would have been a better deal than the taxi we procured at the harbor. The free shuttle to the airport the next morning was extremely convenient and Akis was early, waiting patiently for us, so we didn't have to stress about getting checked in on time. I would recommend this property as a convenient stop when arriving to or departing Athens!

The owners were friendly and really cared about the experience that I received. Not only was the hotel amazing, but the service to get picked up and taken back to the airport was wonderful, as the owners also run a taxi company. The bathroom and kitchen were exceptional. The only issue is there's no much, at this time, in the surrounding area, but that doesn't matter, as what I needed was a nice place to stay for a layover and get a good night's sleep. The amenities were amazing and I was incredibly happy with the experience. I will do this again next time I stay overnight in Athens! Thank you, again, to the owners!

My host was incredibly helpful and friendly, and was most welcoming upon my arrival. Check-in was very straight-forward and easy, and my host even personally delivered my nicely-appointed breakfast to the apartment the next morning! The apartment that I stayed in was very clean and comfortable and had so many facilities - more than I could ever have needed for my short stay. It would especially be a great stay for couples with or without children, or small groups of friends, including those who wish to self-cater. There is not a great deal within easy walking distance, but the apartments are nevertheless located very conveniently to many restaurants and cafes, as well as the Ancient Temple of Poseidon archaeological site, if one has a car.

The house and the apartment is off the main coastal road in a quiet spot. Apartment with a large terrasse, super view, very well equipped, modern, spacious. Warm welcome by the owner who gave us a complete precise visit of the apartment and its functionality with good advice for nearby restaurants. Nice beach down the village road (tunnel underneath the main coastal road so it is safe to cross). I am occasionally in that area and I will go back there.

The host is super nice and welcomed us with a bottle of white wine and traditional sweets that were very appreciated! There's a lot of space inside and outside the location. With a car is super easy to drive around, enjoy the sunset in Sounio or reach restaurants and beaches. We took a two rooms apartment that has 2 bathrooms and a spacious Livingroom. I hope to get back soon over there!

Our room was spacious, clean, and decorated very nicely with attention to detail. Also, we had all the home appliances that one might need for a longer stay. The bed was super comfy, and the terraces (yes, we had 2 terraces) are surrounded by the beautifully maintained garden. The host was very helpful and ready to assist us in case we needed anything. Thank you, Mr Thanos, your place is a true gem!

The room is modern, comfortable, clean and very well equipped with anything you may need for a long stay (washing machine, dishwasher, all types of coffee makers, all the kitchenware you may need to cook and eat). The view from the balcony was excellent. The best part was our host, who made us feel very welcome and was very friendly and accommodating, even though we had only booked the room for 1 night.

To start The grounds and entrance are immaculately well kept. The rooms are very nice, modern and stocked with everything you need, down to a fresh juicer and clothes pins. Beautiful shower. The pool area is wonderful. Fresh water pool, maybe 9-10 ft deep on one end. Entrance stairs on the other side. The compound ( building) is incredibly well built. Surrounded by vegetation, lights and calmness. I must thank the cleaning staff, as they were so very kind and on point. Very hard working group.

Beautifully decorated large studio room. High quality furnishings. Very comfortable bed and nice large bathroom. The pool area is lovely, as is the rooftop bar. There were extra towels to be used by the pool which were lovely and soft. There was information where the nearby restaurants are as well as how to get delivery. All in all a great little retreat if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Athens.

I arrived too early as I had to switch flights. the property managed to give me the keys according to my arrival at the property. The place exceeded my expectations, it is a hidden gem in Saronida/Lagonissi area. Relaxing when on business duty and giving yourself a luxury treat in a place that is paradise on earth. the garden offers numerous opportunities to work on your laptop, read a book or simply chill and enjoy the silence. the decoration of the entire place shows that the owner built this group of apartments also for his own use. Nice furniture, tasteful finishings, materials, and colours used in the studio. I recommend this place to like-minded travellers of the world, who had enough of the crowded 5 Star hotel scenery they see every day when on business duty and instead love the quite subtle luxury in style, design, aesthetics and peaceful environments with personality, like Aval Riviera. the gym in the garden space is fabulous for Yoga. The relax area by the pool was my favourite place after busy meetings. For those who want to enjoy the sea, Lagonissi and Saronida area up to Cape Sounion offer a variety of beach bars you can visit according to taste and budget. I will return to Aval Riviera for my next trips to Athens. It is close to the airport, close to the sea, close to bars, restaurants, shopping facilities, plus it is a place where you offer yourself a nice treat between busy schedules. Loved this place!

Check in was easy and the hotel is very secure. They provide specific instructions prior to arrival for accessing the door for the entrance and a lockbox code for the room key. The view from the room with the partial sea view/pool view room was excellent and we enjoyed the lounge beds and terrace area that was provided with our room. This is a great option for couples to spend a night or two before heading to or from the airport and do not want to venture into Athens. Very convenient and Yannis was extremely helpful! He was super accommodating and was able to assist us with a ride (for a small fee) as when we arrived taxis were on strike and we could not find any form of transportation. There are some walkable restaurants but I would stick with the local tavernas over the restaurants within the nearby resort. Restaurants are a quick 8-15 minute walk.

What an amazing place. A true little oasis of peace and quiet. The pool was such a treat; super comfy beds, big towels and just the perfect spot to relax. Everything was spotless, both in the shared areas and in our own apartment. You can really tell they care about the details. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment and it had everything we needed. Spacious, modern, super clean and just really comfortable. Nothing was missing. And that balcony with sea view… perfect. Yannis was such a kind and helpful host. Always available for questions and full of great tips about the area. The location is great too. Having a rental car definitely helps if you want to explore a bit more, but there are a few nice restaurants within walking distance as well. Highly recommend! We had the best time.

I read all the great reviews about this place and chose it because of them. Yes, this place is dated, but it was so comfortable, and we felt like we were visiting our grandmother's (Yiayia's) place because Joan was so absolutely warm and welcoming! She was waiting outside when our taxi pulled up and greeted us warmly and took us inside and showed us around. She had our breakfast laid out for us, and had made us sandwiches and had house wine, water, milk, orange juice in the fridge. She had coffee, tea, and cereal on the counter. She showed us the garden and told us about some of the shops and restaurants nearby. She also ordered our taxi for us to the airport and was there to send us off. Everything was clean and comfortable and we would highly recommend this place!

Joan is such a lovely lady, i would return just for her. she thoughtfully provided snacks, juice, jam, and a sandwich for the next day. she was so friendly and helpful, making sure i knew where the bus stop was. they also provided an affordable airport transfer, and i felt very safe and secure after a long flight. the bed is very comfy and bathroom was perfect. there is a bus stop near that can take you into athens city (but you will need to buy a ticket for athens region at the airport before). thankyou for being such a wonderful host, i absolutely recommend this to anyone needing accommodation near the airport. as a female first time solo traveller it was a great place to stay on my first night

The apartment had a lot of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a nice breakfast (toast, cereals with milk, toast bread, jam, tea, coffee,juice, cookies) already included in a (very good) price. I even had some wine wating for me in the fridge! There are some family games, books, big TV, great WIFI connection in the apartment. The host is a very nice lady that made me feel like I came to my grandmom's for a visit. :) Unfortunately I couldn't explore the area but it seemed quite close to the restaurants and all the "happening" in the area. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend John's room with a perfect 10/10 rating due to my excellent experience with the hotel owner, Mrs. John, and her staff. Upon my arrival, she warmly welcomed me, creating an atmosphere that felt like she was anticipating the arrival of her own son. Mrs. John went above and beyond by preparing not only breakfast but also lunch for us. The overall ambiance of the property was exceptional, and the convenient 22-minute distance from the hotel to the airport added to its appeal. I wholeheartedly endorse John's property and find myself missing the hospitality of Mrs. John.

Food and drink available to us at the pool bar and we were given heaps of great suggestions for takeaway/restaurants near by. Aircon in the rooms worked a treat, bathroom was modern and very clean.

Modular bungalows is composed a 6/7 bungalows each hosting between two to five/six people. There is a central common pool and facilities to have lunch/dinner outside. The bigger bungalow have a kitchenette. Everything is brand new and very aesthetically pleasing. You can see a lot of thinking, love and investment has been put into the place. Elias and his team work around the clock to tidy and clean the property and this is very enjoyable. We spent a excellent day there, mostly resting around the pool. The team is very nice and helpful.

Elena and Elias are simply great People, they will give you tips, a warm welcome and cocktails at thé pool!. We loved them. We started here for 5 nights and we wished we stayed longer. Normally i never go back to the same place on holiday but for them i Will make an exeption. We stayed in many places in Greece but this place was the best. Many great value for money restaurants in the neighbourhood, and if you don't have transport you van take a taxi ( 40 euro) or bus and metro to athens ( we payed 3 euro for two People?!?) If u need transport to the village you van Rent An electric tuk tuk from Elias, all powered with 100% green energy!

tranquil setting, lovely bungalows, set in a safe environment secured gates so I didn’t need to worry about my kids being out. pool was accessible daily and heated. the bungalow we stayed on was lovely and well catered to our needs. staff cleaned daily which was an added surprise. family run accommodation and each one very kind and helpful. they were always available for any queries about local attractions and even provided details of a full bus route for a day out to Athena. many attractions/beaches within walking distance. can’t praise the owners enough and for sure if we had the opportunity to return we would stay there again.

The property is more than 3 km from airport but it was worth the 15 min drive. The place was awesome for kids with a playground, trampoline and toys. The heated pool was the best part. There is a minimarket 2 min away. There is no separate living room but the place had enough beds for all of us. The bathroom is attached to one of the bedrooms. The host and his wife were very pleasant and welcoming. They were there to greet us and take our luggage to the unit. We would highly recommend this place for families.

Room is super clean. 10 minutes drive from Athens airport. Owner is super friendly and helped us with travel details while in Athens. He allowed us to keep our bags while we travelled to Santorini for 3 days before returning to his place for the last night before flying home. He even fetched us to the metro and back for our short Athens city visit. He also charges reasonable price for airport transfers to his home, which is cheaper than taxis. He's also super accommodative when we had a slight change in our itinerary for our return flight. Definitely highly recommended!!

A perfect one-night stay, although we would have liked to stay longer. Close to the airport, a hidden gem of a place with lovely owners. The apartment was well laid-out, furnished tastefully with kitchen area, bathroom and sofa. Everything spotlessly clean, the room is large. Security is excellent and there are plenty of shops, food outlets and restaurants close by. They even offer a great value pick-up and drop-off service from the airport and the communication is first rate. Vicky sent instructions and photos to help the process go smoothly. Outstanding.

The room was modern, exceptionally clean, and spacious, and great for a comfortable and quiet stay. It was the perfect place to relax and repack my bags before an early flight the next morning, as it was about a 13 minute drive to the airport. There was plenty of street parking in the area, but I was able to park right in front of the house. The host was friendly despite me showing up pretty late at night.

The host was very attentive and it was extremely easy to check in. It was the perfect location near the airport - about 15-10 minute cab. We took a cab into Athens, but we wished we had just explored the small town this apartment was in! I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone that wanted to stay close to the airport and not in downtown Athens! Very clean, comfortable, and quiet!

Giorgos and Maria, our hosts, were incredible. They welcomed us without hesitation despite the late hour, and their warm hospitality made all the difference. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with filtered water and a Nespresso-style coffee machine—small touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. Free street parking was also a great perk since we had a rental car. We were so happy with our stay that we returned again a few days later to rest before our early-morning flight home. Just a short 5-minute walk away is an amazing local grill house, Κοκκινη Πιπερια (“Red Paprika”), which we highly recommend. Carpe Diem is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a well-priced, convenient, and welcoming place to stay near the Athens airport.

This locations is in a tiny town near the airport. The apartment has a kitchen for us to cook meals in which was perfect since there is a local market near the church which is maybe 2 blocks away. There is also a couple restaurants, but we didn’t try those. The hottest was extremely friendly and made sure to answer any question when we checked, if we had any. We booked for 2 days but ended up only staying one night due to scheduling errors on our part. When we had to leave she was very understanding. If I come back to Athens I’m definitely going to look this place up! A good location to rest after a long flight!

This property is lovely and Maria is probably one of the best hosts/hostesses I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. In addition to being large and clean (the sheets and towels smelled wonderful), there were countless little details to make one feel at home including q-tips and maki up remover pads, lotion, water in the fridge, tea and coffee supplies, candies on the table and even a little breakfast snack. Maria is also excellent with communication and also helped us secure a cab to the airport. The area is walkable with a village square about ten minutes walk away. My only negative was that the locals and merchants didn’t seem very welcoming to tourists.

My wife and i stayed here to be able to takeba day trip to Olympia before we went to the island Lesos. It was quiet, clean and Maria ang Giorgos are great owners. Polite and helpful. Giorgos knows more English than he admits to but does not speak much English. Maria is fluent. Wonderful people. Close to restaurants and services. Great place to stay near airport. 15 euros to be transported by them, 20 if red eye hours. We will use them everytime ascwe book our own flights. Warm showers, crazy clean.

The building is in a small cluster of houses just up the hill from the beach. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully supplied with a bottle of wine and a few snacks, plus tea and coffee for the morning. The blackout shutters made the bedrooms very dark, and each bedroom has its own mini-split air conditioner. There’s a nice balcony, a TV, and an assortment of books. The manager was extremely kind and helpful. We arrived mid-morning, so he let us leave our luggage at the building until it was ready. He spoke a little English, which made things a lot easier for us, since we don’t speak any Greek. He even drove us to the Temple of Poseidon and to the airport for a reasonable fee. The nearest beach is a few minutes’ walk away. It has amazing, crystal clear water and a little stand that sells coffee and juice. It seemed to be occupied mainly by locals who knew each other. There wasn’t a lot of shade at the beach, so bring an umbrella or something if you can.

Everything about our stay at Helen's Apartment was perfect!! We drove down from the Athens airport with no trouble in less than 1 hour, even though we had just arrived in the country and had never before driven in Greece. Our host, who lives downstairs, was cheerfully waiting for us and showed us all around the apartment. The apartment itself was spacious, sparkling clean, and well-furnished, with very comfy beds. The photos on the website look quite good, but the apartment was much better even than the pictures. The apartment was splendid, all round! A lovely balcony gave us a view of the local beach and countryside. It was a short drive (10-15 minutes) to the Temple of Poseidon, which was spectacular at sunset, and our hosts recommended a wonderful family-run seafood restaurant only 5 minutes away where we had the best grilled sardines we've ever had, along with many other delicious treats. We would have loved to have stayed in Helen's apartment much longer than 1 night! I'm sure we will return on our next trip to Greece.

Wow, just a perfect home with everything you might need. Apart from the perfect location 2 mins drive from beautiful beaches and its sweet balcony to chill, the home inside is just so cozy, clean, well organized and equipped with all you might need. I felt like visiting my parents home where everything is ready for me. Super spacious , beautiful ambience and relaxing place. Would recommend it and would like to visit it for more days. Mr Michalis is very kind and helpful, he even has left a bottle of wine for us. Just so perfect - Thanks for everything! See you again.

The location is a walking to the beach, the Charakas beach it self is wonderful, in my opinion it is one of the best beaches in the area. The host is very friendly and kind. The shower pressure and water temperature was over perfect. The apartment was very clean, I was alone but it can fit a family of 4 at least. All the equipments needed exists and worked perfectly, I didn't use the air conditioner but the flow of the air is very fresh if windows are open. . I would definitely visit again.

We stayed at the apartment one night after flying into Athens on an evening flight (around 21:00). The apartment was excellent: spacious, comfortable, and with great amenities. Location is great for what we needed, just a short drive from the airport and easy to find. The apartment has a private parking space but it was too small for our rented van, so we struggled a bit with parking. The next morning we walked a bit around town; it seems like a nice place, but most places were closed because it was a Sunday (or maybe it was just too early in the morning). Several people recommended Porto Rafti, about 12km away, as a place to hang out, but since we had a fairly long drive in the other direction we just headed out around 09:30. Overall this is a great place to stay if you need to be close to the airport.

Great stay. Place is totally immaculate. Host is very nice and great communicator. Unit had everything we needed and more. Lots of coffee choices in the morning are provided which was a very nice touch. In good location, easy walk to restaurants and shops. Only thing that might need to be clarified is that we were not aware that we were sharing the kitchen and living room with another room. There are two separate bedrooms in the apartment, each with ensuite bathrooms and you share one kitchen and living room. Your room is locked. It was fine, but when I booked I just saw "entire apartment". I never saw in advance that part of the unit was shared. It must have been written somewhere and I did not notice. The price was good, so that's to be taken into account. I still liked it and would stay again.

We stayed only overnight (less than 12 hours) at the property. We felt that the place is very clean, very well organized and have all the necessary appliances for your stay. There is a mini mart and a bakery near couple of blocks away. We had a car so we did drive around the area. We felt there were some really good stores for shopping (they were all closed). The property is close to the airport. It took us about 18 minutes drive to the airport around 5:00 AM in the morning. I would definitely recommend this property for staying if you need to catch an early flight or if you have arrived very late and don't feel to go to the city center. The city center is quite far.

We had a quick stay at A&J Apartments on an overnight stop between Crete and heading home via ATH. We arranged rides to and from the airport through the property and were picked up promptly. He walked us through the property which was clean and stocked with everything we needed (plus Raki!). We were given directions to nearby cafes and a square for food which were all within walking distance. We walked to the square for dinner and baked goods which was excellent (Corso Como Cafe Food Bar) and had a quiet night in the apartment. I highly recommend A&J apartments.

I have to say we had an amazing experience with Alex and Jeorjia. Our flight was delayed and we didn't get to Athens until nearly midnight. Alex met us at the airport and drove us to the apartment. He then stayed with us to help us organise our onward travel plans for the following day. The apartment was clean, really comfortable and super well equiped with everything you'd want for a night. I would highly recommend these hosts and their apartment. The following day Alex took us to the train. I can't thank him enough. Excellent service. thank you!

We were so lucky and grateful to have found this wonderful little gem located in the heart of this adorable little seaside town. Having unexpectedly had some plans fall through, we booked last minute and, Iro, the property manager was absolutely fantastic. She was quick to reach out and let us know we could check in with easy, detailed instructions. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed with how clean and beautiful the place was with huge balcony area. Iro was also so sweet and flexible in allowing us to stow luggage for a couple hours the morning of our check out while we waited on the ferry to our next destination. We will forever be so grateful for finding this place under the circumstances we did and will absolutely not think twice about booking again when returning to this region.

We arrived around 6 pm and stayed one night prior to a cruise. Great position. Close to the port and cafes/restaurants. Lovely room. Clean. Lots of fantastic little, thoughtful touches from our host, Iro, to make our stay comfortable. There were some snacks, drinks and even a bottle of wine left for us, plus a thoughtfully supplied kitchenette, sewing kit, a shoeshine kit, games, etc. etc. Iro even drove us to the cruise terminal in the morning. Highly recommended.

The apartment was well organized, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had great pressure and hot water. Communication with the host was seamless and it was so convenient that she offered to drop me at the port. Some breakfast sweets, juice and coffee were nice touches! Lavrio had a good choice of restaurants, gelato, supermarket and pharmacy and is a more chill port option. I would definitely stay here again if back in Lavrio!

We did not meet our host but she was fantastic and make sure we could arrive from the airport to the hotel. It is a little place with everything you need. The instructions at the property are perfect and you are 5 minutes walking to the port in a nice area We had home made sandwiches that we took for our breakfast next day.

Room was very nice and seems that eveything had been thought of. There was a coffee machine and some food in the fridge (juice, sandwich, eggs). Iro, The host welcomed us and explained everything. The place is very close to the port and Iro drove us the next morning to the ferry.

Sortiris is an incredible host at an incredible property! When our plane landed in Athens it was starting to get late and I was worried about getting into our accommodations because my US phone wasn't connecting to the Greek network as it was supposed to. I called what I hoped was the phone number (found on the web using airport wifi) from the cab and a cheerful Sortiris answered, told us the best way for the cab to find the property and assured me that he would be there to let us in. When we arrived he took us to our beautiful room with a birdseye view of Athens. Every little thing had been thought of and he even graciously provided a few extras that we needed. The next morning we woke up to the breathtaking view of the city, with a glimpse of the Aegean Sea at the horizon. Sortiris had arranged a taxi for us and after a lovely breakfast on the balcony we made it to the airport in plenty of time for our connecting flight. In a country that sets a high bar for hospitality, Sortiris and Artemis Greenhill exceeded all of our expectations. Ehpheristo -- we hope to see you again on another visit!

This lovely house is only a few minutes drive from Athens Airport, but with a large hill separating the two there is no aircraft noise. the flight path is in the opposite direction. The owner of Artemis GreenHill kindly picked me up from the airport, at 3.00am!! He drove me home and the next day returned me to the airport. There was a small charge, but to make such a gesture at an incredibly inhospitable hour was much appreciated. My room was spacious, clean and had a large balcony looking towards the lovely, typical Greek village and to hills beyond. There was a litre of water in the refrigerator that was very welcome after a long day of travelling. I had said that I would forfeit breakfast in place of a lie-in, but that would never do in Greek hospitality. I came down just before midday and there was my breakfast laid out for me and the housekeeper kindly made me fresh coffee and toast. I would certainly return to ArtemisHill on a future trip to Athens. It feels remote yet is convenient for Athens and the international airport.

My husband, friend and I stayed at this hotel. It is approx. 45 minutes away from the airport. The prices were VERY Good hence me booking here. Our host, Sotiri and His wife were so very welcoming. Sotiri picked us Up from the airport in his mini-van. It was needed as we explained to him over the phone that we had alot of luggage. He showed us around the area Artemis with pride. Lovely little city. He drove us to a greek restaurant (our request) of his choosing, left us there and picked us up after we were through. Their house is large, beautiful, clean and pet friendly. Breakfast was provided for me-homemade. I was leaving VERY early that morning. He then drove me to the airport for a small fee, of course. He later drove my husband and friend to the airport that day as they took another flight. Yes...he did breakfast TWICE!! Wifi and small toiletries available. Wonderful experience and Great conversation. We Will be back Sotiri. Thank you so very much!! HIGHLY recommended!!!

This was a great place for our last night before flying out the next day. It's not easily walkable to restaurants for the evening but you can easily cab to those nearer the water or the owner will help place a delivery order. One of the nicer Greek restaurants even will send a car to pick you up and get you back with no extra charge. This is SO MUCH better than staying at the hotels near the airport with a spacious layout for the family and great balcony. We wish we had gotten in a little earlier to hit the nearby ancient sites. FYI: It really confused our taxi driver that we were going to Artemida, so be sure you insist you're not going into Athens proper.

I liked the personal service the owner gave. And, I also liked that it was not a large chain hotel. Although I did not walk all the way to the Sea (because I had been up for 24 hours travelling), I did walk far enough to know I could have easily walked to the nearby beach and small beach town that I could see from the room balcony. Also from that balcony, I could also see the beautiful hilly scenery and the pretty, mainly white stucco homes of the village

Staff is very friendly and helpful . The room is very clean and tidy. My room had balcony which overlooks the port and restaurants and it had a small clothesline with pegs to hang swimwear and small clothes. Quite noisy and busy in the area at night, but i slept well still just close the balcony door. WIFI is free and had a good signal. Shops, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance, if you walk a little further out at the main road, you'll get to the supermarket. Location is quite hard to locate and no public transport to rely on. Taxi is the only best option to get here and back to the airport. From the hotel is 35€ before 5am and 25€ anytime after that, that's a set price. It is cheaper to go there on a metered taxi, i only paid 13€ from metro station to hotel. Overall it's a nice place to stay for short trip and is better than my budget hotel in Santorini.

The room was great! It was squeaky clean, spacious, with a small fridge and a nice balcony with a view of the harbour. The bed was really nice and the airconditioning was working fine. I only stayed for one night, because I had to catch a flight the next morning. I didn't feel like staying in Athens for my last night, so this quiet town next to the ocean and near the airport was great to stay in! I highly suggest walking down the pier at night, it's an amazing view! At arrival, Nikolaki left the key in the door for me so I could arrive when I wanted. She came to check on me a few hours later to see if I needed anything, which was really nice.

This was an amazing spot that we found to spend two non-consecutive nights around Athens, both times before catching an early flight. The first time we took the metro from Syntagma Square then a taxi to get there from the closest metro Station. The second time we had a car which made it even easier to get to the airport the next morning at 4 am. The room is spotless clean, brand new and from the balcony you get gorgeous views of the ocean which is only a few steps away. The beach is a quiet spot for locals, clear blue water with restaurants nearby. We highly recommend it especially if you need a break from the bustling capital.

Stayed during an overnight layover at Athens Airport. It's about 20 minutes from the airport & if you take a cab, make sure they take the highway & not a backroad route the gps may suggest. I arrived very late, but the staff was expecting me & were very welcoming, helpful & communicative. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe & taken care of. My host recommended a dinner spot & called me a taxi for early morning; cab was there ready to go at 5:30am when the rest of the town was asleep. Balcony was great, beautiful harbor view, good food late at night nearby, gorgeous town. Would return.

I had the very best spot in Porto Rafti - a corner room on the second floor with a terrace and a view at the sunrise and the bay on the other side. I liked everything about the room. I even had my own little kitchen - it was perfect! The host was friendly and helpful. The hotel has the tiniest elevator I have ever seen but it does the job. Around the hotel there is plenty of space to park a car. It is full of great restaurants in the area.

They offered pick up and drop off at the airport for a fee. It was a cute little apartment with a balcony overlooking the city towards the ocean. It had a fridge with a freezer and they provided a small bottle of water. The tap water is drinkable though. There was a kettle with supplies for coffee and tea and even a machine that takes pods and 2 chocolate ones were provided. There were some snacks left so there was something to eat for breakfast if you wanted. The shower was great. There was a little kitchen area that I hadn't realised was there for my use because it was outside the entry door. I discovered it when I was leaving at 5am. This apartment was just for one person as it only had one small bed.

Everything! Highly recommend. The hosts were very communicative. I arranged transportation with them to pick up and drop off at the airport for a very reasonable rate. Irene even dropped me off and picked me up in the town square for a few hours while I waited for the studio to be ready. The studio was very clean, close to the airport. The accommodations were super cute with lots of little touches to make it feel like a home away from home. I was even brought a glass of homemade lemonade from their own lemon tree. Nice touch!

Everything!! I believe this is the first time that I've booked accommodation through Booking.com, where all the photos and information are correct. Alex was an exceptional host, providing more than adequate facilities and provisions for an overnight stay before setting off for the airport early morning. Alex also recommended a superb little Greek restaurant 5 minute walk away, which both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. It was the perfect way to end our holidays in Greece. Thank you so much Alex. You provided excellent accommodation, at a fair price, with a smile.

Absolutely wonderful. A delayed arrival was no problem and we were met at the airport by the lovely Irene, who transferred us to the apartment. The apartment is spacious, quiet, and had everything we could need. Lovely little touches of some light snacks and drinks. Great bakery and restaurant just a couple of minutes walk away. Perfect place for a night when you need to stay by the airport, away from the hustle and bustle of Athens city.

Just a one night stay on the way to islands. Absolutely fantastic. I opted for airport pick up which was very easy and smooth (and I think much better value than taxi). Room had amazing view and everything I needed. Even got a welcome drink of homemade lemonade. Owners are super friendly and helpful. Definitely go to the taverna 5 mins walk from property as meals are extremely cheap and absolutely fantastic. An all round win!

Amazing accommodation. Hesitant to write how good it is as want to go back next year!! Walking distance to sea and a locals taverner. It’s not touristy, don’t expect gift shops and normality, expect local people enjoying and living their life. Local shop .5 mile away and locals selling their home grown fruits. Pool was spotless, breakfast was a welcome treat daily, all freshly prepared and pushes you to taste the local cuisine. Don’t stay here if you want package holiday perks of ‘brits abroad’ stay here if you want to unplug, take in the sea air and become Greek for a week. Best holiday to take a break from normality I’ve had in a long while. Great wi-fi which allowed our kids to keep entertained during hotter part of day. We stayed in garden view which allowed a private sunbathing spot at lunch time while kids kept cool. Pool down steps to the side, most of the time our own private sanctuary. The owners/housekeepers live in the villa that is on the same floor as the pool - we thought we got to open onto the pool - but that isn’t the case. But it really wasn’t a problem as the private garden was a better sun spot for us when the kids needed a break. The other apartment looks out over the sea, which looks amazing, but won’t get the sun on the balcony during afternoon. Best food can be found in harbour side of Porto rafti - 5 min drive away. George and Maria where superb hosts!

It was the easiest process from check in to check out. Breakfast and cleanliness and friendly staff made our stay great. Maria kept the place clean and tidy, addressed all our needs properly and made us feel like home with great home cooked breakfast that was beyond expectations. The apartment was comfortable and bright with partial view to the sea, that it was a few steps further down the street. A little cold to use the sparkling swimming pool this time. Running late to the airport we forgot items of some value and enormous sentimental value to us and when we realized that were missing, we contacted the owner, around five am, and withing hours we got notified that they were found and that they will keep them safe until in three months we will be able to retrieve them personally. What kind of value do you assign to that integrity and service. We are very thankful, and this property will be where will be staying in all the multiple visits to that wonderful little town

Nice clean facilities and washroom/ shower , large sliding glass door rooms, pool and family room area. Well equipped kitchen with coffee n kcup machine. Simple fridge breakfast for quick bite in morning and snacks throughout day. Block off water n two from the beach with snack bar/ restaurant, couple more blocks to more decent beach bar and Greek/seafood restaurant. Great feel for how locals live in the area and are spoiled by its simple beauty. Manager Giorgos was very helpful and always working hard to maintain facilities and expedited room early which allowed me to shower and enjoy a full day and night at the beach. Driver Haris was also very helpful and friendly. Also nice walk above ocean to restaurants in area and Port Rafti proper.

We chose this property for the night due to its proximity to the airport for a much needed restful night before the next leg of our European excursion. And, boy, did we luck into something fantastic. This was a beautiful property. The house has a stunning infinity pool and a collection of quirky kitties to keep you company. The gentleman who checked us in was so nice and helpful. There was a stunning beach within easy walking distance. The cherry on top was the fantastic cafe on the beach, Panorama. The food was delicious and the owner, Mike, was warm, kind, and welcoming. 10/10 We will definitely return when we get the opportunity.

What an amazing palace! The place was sooo clean and the AC cold with beautiful family room and fully equipped kitchen. Bkfst was so good we couldn’t even finish all the nice food so we left in th full size fridge! Beautiful bedrooms with towels and huge closets! They even had towels for the pool left for us! Truly extraordinary! Amazing can’t wait to come back! 10 stars! Unbelievable!

If you have to give stars to an apartment, then the place deserves 10 shining stars!! The host, Susana, is charming and makes sure that the guests don't miss anything! She leaves a lot of light refreshments, coffee, drinks and more for the guests to enjoy, and recommends any topic of interest in the area of the small and nice city. And in the morning Susanna and her husband arrived early to drive me to the airport! I highly recommend, it is a privilege to stay in such a great place.

I only stayed 1 night here as I had an early flight. It was a great decision. The owners are such a lovely couple. I arranged for them to pick me up and drop me off at the airport super early the next morning and it was a breeze. The apartment is massive, super modern, and they left wine, and other local treats. Oh, and it's a great little neighbourhood. Authentic, with plenty of great food/drink options. . This was a fantastic ending to my Greek holiday - the best hospitality and value one can find.

The hosts were so wonderful. I had a very short overnight stay and they went above and beyond to make me comfortable. They picked me up from the airport after midnight no complaints and were waiting outside for me again at 4am to take me back to the airport. They even greeted me with fruit and snacks and I told them I had a big day ahead. The place itself is really big and clean. The bed is super comfortable.

Pleasure to deal with. So nice so friendly so accommodating so thoughtful they went above and beyond and the beds ate amazingly comfy and the pillows and the peace... They brought us from the airport that morning at 230am and picked us up again next day to the airport all for 31 euros. Service with a smile.. Nothing was. A problem... A/c in all rooms... Comfy anything you needed was there. 100percent would stay again

The owners of the property are exceptional. We were able to arrange for them to pick us up from the airport and they gave us many recommendations on where to eat in town. This is a small but very safe town with a few restaurants and shops. The accommodations were very spacious and very clean. I throughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely rebook if I ever visited Athens again!
