Great location. The room was very big and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent too. The children loved the pool area. Everything was very clean.

This is definitely a hotel I highly recommend if you need to stay in the Batalha area and surrounding neighbourhoods. The service was great. I was very impressed by Zara and Carina, who were at the reception desk. Their professionalism and, above all, their genuine welcoming nature left me with a great impression, and I do congratulate those two young ladies for going above and beyond to make sure I found the place I was looking for in Leiria and suggesting possible ways of getting there. The entire building is newly built, and so it is still in perfect using conditions. It has a simple yet practical design, and the room was well designed to accommodate a disabled person, which made mine and my mother's stay very comfortable indeed. I liked the variety of options at breakfast; the freshness and taste of the food was quite good as well. Not only will I book this hotel again if I need to return to Batalha in Portugal, but I highly recommend it to anyone travelling to that part of the country.

Value for money and great location. Too bad we were not able to try the spa but we will definitely try on our next trip.

Stylish apartment — a very interesting living experience. The large, luxurious bathroom and comfortable bed made the stay especially cozy. The pool was perfect for cooling off during the hot summer. The hosts were very caring and attentive.

A secluded and quiet place to relax in, away from the busy city life. We stayed at the Nogueira house. The houses have all the amenities needed for a short or long stay. A beautiful job has been done in recovering the old stone houses and modernizing it, keeping its original charm and architecture, and a mix of countryside themed and quirky decor. A generous breakfast is served daily, including delicious fresh bread and cake that are left in a cloth bag outside your door (like in the “old days”). There’s also basic staples like fruit, salt, and (locally produced and available to buy at the reception) olive oil. And newly picked flowers everyday! The pool area is inviting and the salt water pool is cleaned daily. We were the only ones there for the most part. The restaurant is conveniently located within the premises. The food quality is superior and the staff was amazing in welcoming and guiding us through the menu and wine pairing. The staff went out of their way to make us fell welcomed, sharing tips of places to visit in the surrounding area, and was always on call for anything we needed. It was the second time at Villa Pedra and will most definitely return!

Sehr schöne Anlage mit unterschiedlichen Wohnungen. Zu jeder Wohnung gehört eine Terrasse und ein Garten. Wir hatten zwar nur eine kleine Terrasse, aber das war i. O. Wir haben dafür mehr den Garten des Pools genutzt, welcher sehr schön und gepflegt ist. Wir haben mit Frühstück gebucht, was sehr gut war. Ein MUSS ist auf jeden Fall das eigene Restaurant, wo es ein sehr gutes Menü gab. Das Servicepersonal ist wirklich sehr nett, egal ob Gärtner, Reinigungspersonal, Restaurantmitarbeiter und insbesondere der Empfang, welcher sich wirklich um alles kümmert. Ein schöner Ort zum entspannen.

A beautiful residence with care for details. Amazing rooms in every possible way. The view is fantastic and the pool area is really nice!

This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church.

Wish we could have enjoyed the pool and outdoors more but it was winter. Still, very different and the staff were all very kind and friendly. Alfonso particularly went out of his way to help us out a lot.

Superb place to stay (If slightly remote). A unique hotel. We have stayed in hotels around the world, but nothing quite like this. The room or chalet was quirky and had everything you required. A very self sufficient hotel with approachable staff, good food and a very different outlook on how a hotel should be run.

Staff was excellent. A very unique place for a quiet day or two, with Obidos 10 minutes away and beautiful beaches nearby. Dinner at the restaurant was fair, but the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay again!

The location of the keys and how to find the apartment was well explained and very easy to find. We were updated with an extensive email before our stay and also the day after our arrival we received an email to check on us and whether we were happy or whether we needed anything. The apartment is nicely interior designed in a contemporary atmosphere, with comfortable beds, a nice big dining table and chairs to fit 6 persons, the kitchen is very complete and has all the things needed, dishwasher, washing machine, big fridge, freezer drawers and a hob. The two bathrooms are good and the entire apartment was very clean and has a nice big balcony with outdoor seating for 4 persons and great pool, the apartment and balcony overlooks the pool and also the beach, marina and ocean a but further down the hill.

Nice clean modern apartment. Our apartment had a beautiful view of the sea from the balcony. The beds were wonderful. The apartment was fully equipped and also had good internet. The large swimming pool where we could regularly swim a lap was certainly a plus. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly and pleasantly a message afterwards to check whether everything was okay made it a extra nice experience. We enjoyed the stay, which provided a real holiday feeling. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Quinta da Luz. Dona Emília welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. The house is incredibly comfortable, clean, and has everything you need. The swimming pool was gorgeous—perfect for a refreshing dip and relaxing by the water. The surrounding area is very quiet and full of charm—ideal for a peaceful escape. We spent the weekend here to de-stress and recharge, and it was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended!

A really interesting house full of character, and the pool and garden were just stunning. The hosts provided everything we needed for our stay and made us feel so welcome and comfortable.

It had everything you would need for a great family vacation, lots of space, excellent pool, great location and great owners. It is very rustic which may not be to everyone’s tastes but we loved the history and the traditional aspects especially being in a nice village with a great shop just around the corner which had fresh bread, cakes and great coffee every morning. The large espresso was just one €1. The location is great for some lovely beaches less than 20 mins away, many with free parking and quiet. The larger supermarkets are no more than ten mins away in Obidos which itself is lovely. We got great recommendations on places to visit and a lovely restaurant just outside Obidos from traditional Portuguese food. Would visit again.

It is set in a very quiet residential location, but the walk to Sitio village, where you will find plenty of restaurants and shops etc just takes a few minutes. Also, an easy and pleasant walk through pine trees to the North Beach.

We had such an amazing time at the villa. The space was beautiful, clean and spacious. There were 8 of us on this family trip, the oldest was 81 and the youngest was 8 years old, it was perfect for all of us. It's about an hour from Lisbon. We didn't have a car, but you can book Ubers to get to the beach and the supermarket. Our host Holger made the holiday even more special. Super friendly, kind and funny! He took the time to drive us into Lisbon for the day and took us to see more sights the following day. He even made a cake for my sister's birthday! He was was also so attentive and helpful to my mother. We really appreciated him. The best host! If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet holiday this is the place for you. Highly recommended, I think we'll be back

We had a single night here, and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was busy, due to a local soccer competition but the breakfast was re-stocked well so no problems getting what we wanted. The rooms were fresh, we had a great balcony view to the beach and cliff from the 5th floor. The gym was small, and the roof top space for the pool and sundeck was enjoyable. There is a rule to wear a swimming cap in the pool, not sure how strictly it is enforced. Staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, and bike storage in the carpark was easy to arrange.

Location is perfect. Great views from the room. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! We were able to leave our car in the garage so we could stay longer in Nazare. Everyone was very helpful. They had towels that we could take to the pool or beach.

The facilities were really good, the rooftop swimming pool was really nice and the view was amazing and the staff was super friendly and accommodating

This hotel is in the perfect location. From our little balcony we could see one of the main squares as well as the ocean! The beach is huge and beautiful. Our room was super clean and not large but had everything needed. We even had a kettle and tea/coffee available. The breakfast was fantastic in the beautiful restaurant which has large windows overlooking the ocean (across the road). The desk staff were super helpful and pleasant. You are in the heart of the tourist part of town so close to restaurants, shops and the funicular that takes you up to the upper part of the town. We happened to be there during Carnival so it was pretty raucous - but we enjoyed sitting on our balcony of the third floor watching the silly festivities. The accessibility to the beach was excellent and the views were incredible.

We had an amazing one-night stay at this hotel. The location is superb, and the staff truly made our experience unforgettable. We were warmly welcomed by Iris, who assisted us with both check-in and check-out. Her positive attitude, genuine smile, and attention to detail made us feel right at home. She truly anticipated our needs and delivered 5-star service from start to finish. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and fresh, high-quality options. A special highlight was the selection of fresh fruits, muesli, and yoghurts – a big plus for health-conscious guests. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the hotel restaurant. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Huge thanks to the entire culinary team for their work and to Iris again for helping make our stay so special. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

What a gem by the beach! We stayed at this lovely hotel just a few steps from the ocean – literally, you can walk to the beach and even enjoy the view from the balcony. Waking up to the sea breeze? Yes, please! Only a 3-minute stroll takes you to the cable car, which brings you up to the famous viewpoint where the big waves crash – it’s a must-see! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We arrived before check-in time (oops!), but they still let us check in early – such a nice surprise! Oh, and the local food nearby? Delicious. You won’t go hungry here, that’s for sure. We’re already planning our return. Highly recommended for a chill beach escape with a little adventure on the side!

One of the nights of our stay was during a big futbol match ("The Superbowl of Portugal" as it was described to us) and the street noise was through the roof with excitement! We were a bit worried since our room was just above the street but the windows must be sound proofed or something because we didn't hear a peep once we closed them. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and their restaurant had really good food, both breakfast (free) and dinner (reasonably priced).

Overall enjoyable 8 nights. Good location for the beach & surfing albeit 20 min walk to Peniche restaurants. Helpful & friendly staff with a shout out to Melissa who was extremely helpful with advice on things to do (other than surfing). Spacious, clean & comfy room & beds. Good breakfast though needs an extra coffee machine in busy times. Some areas need some TLC with some broken equipment in the gym & the tennis court needs resurfacing. The pools were nice although the outside one has lots of small of mosaic tiles missing one the base. Very relaxed and extremely clean hotel.

As before - enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast, clean rooms, nice indoor pool, bar is good and prices are reasonable, strong wi-fi signal - was able to work remotely during three days of stay. Playroom for kids is a plus.

I had a great stay at Hotel Anjo in Fátima, Portugal. The hotel is just a few blocks from the Fátima Cathedral—an easy 5-minute walk—making the location ideal for visiting the sanctuary and exploring the area. The rooms were very clean, modern, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the mini-refrigerator, which added convenience to the stay. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value in a peaceful and accessible location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Anjo to anyone visiting Fátima.

This was my second stay in this hotel, having stayed here previously back in 2018. Rooms were still as clean, and beds comfortable, as before. My latest stay was two nights in a family room (3 single beds). Breakfast spread was simple yet fulfilling. Staff were also friendly and helpful. But what’s most important was the hotel is within a short 5-10mins walking distance to the Sanctuary. It also had free parking near the entrance and in a garage.

Our stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The accommodations provided everything we needed for a comfortable experience. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and it created a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, we appreciated the hotel's excellent accessibility, making it easy for us to navigate both the facility and the surrounding area. Overall, it contributed to a delightful trip.

Whenever I go to Fatima I stay at Hotel Anjo. It is exceptionally well located - easy walking distance to the sanctuary. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The parking is easily accessible and convenient. The hotel is clean and comfortable and peaceful. I recommend it to everyone who asks.

I arrived late and was well received. The lady at reception made me a nice cup of coffee. It is an old hotel,the style,but not the furniture, newly covered chairs, new beds and bedding. Very clean and spacious. I depart very early and could not try the breakfast. The hotel is opposite the .monastory, thus an excellent location and view.

Tha stay at Hotel Santa Maria was pretty impecable, at a lack of better words. Everything was arranged for a quiet stay, although the Carnaval was occurring right in front at the Hotel. The room was extremely clean, very comfortable and with amazing natural light. Breakfast was served fresh everyday, starting at 7.30 am. Looking forward to going back!

The view from the room with Alcobaça's Monastery pretty much accross the road. Great breakfast buffet. Free car park available just a little walk from the entrance with closed gates and code to get in. There's a covered paid car park right next to the entrance door for anyone who prefers this option.

I liked the room, it was clean and tidy, the bathroom was as well. After one night, the next day, the used towels were removed and put new ones. The breakfast was good, and while eating, we had a beautiful view in front: the Alcobaça Monastery.

The location is perfect for those who wish to explore the historic center of Leiria. As it is close to the bus station, one can also use Hotel Leiria Classic as a home base for day trips by bus to Fátima, Batalha, Alcobaça, and other historic sites. The Leiria Castle is within easy walking distance as well, and you may ascend to the ticket office by a free elevator or funicular ride. The staff are clearly experts in the field of hospitality! A cozy sala de estar on the second floor offers a comfortable place to relax with a book at the end of the day!

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to visit Leiria. it is conveniently located close to the bus station, comfortable and clean. They serve good continental breakfast with fresh fruit. What sets this hotel apart from many others is it’s professional, friendly and caring staff. We especially want to mention lovely ladies Cassi, Joana,, Lily and Mariana. They were helping us with all our plans. And most important, they always greeted us with a smile! Make our stay even more memorable and pleasant.

The location is perfect, in the heart of the city. All attractions are in walking distance. Also close to Rede Expressos bus station (<10 mins walk). The staff are very nice and helpful. There is an elevator in the property, which is a big advantage to me as I had a big suitcase with me. There is an air-con in the room. Room is spacious. Breakfast was included. Compared to other accommodations at similar price I had stayed during this trip, this is superb.

The hotel is a charming residential building made into a hotel, it contains the regular structure of typical portuguese buildings, but well maintained to give a vintage-modern vibes. The staff is very nice, and it was extremely close to the bus terminal, the castle, the university and stores. The breakfast was tasty and diverse with fruits, pancakes, different types of cereal, bread, and things to put on the bread. Coffe, tea and juice as well.

Nice rooftop bar . The bathroom in our room (405) did need a bit of tile attention for mould but nothing major . Can’t really fault the place great value for money .

The hotel has a great location, very close to the city center and Leiria Castle. Also there is a skate park, kids playground, football ground and basketball court right in front of the hotel, so lots of activities are available if you're staying with the kids. The hotel has free underground parking and a great pool on the roof. The rooms are basically fully equipped apartments with kitchen and spacious rooms. On top of that there is a great breakfast available. We enjoyed staying there a lot, my kid was super happy with all the activities in the pool and playground, will definitely come once again.

Breakfast was great, we had a two room suite, a bedroom and a combo living room, kitchen, dining room. The combo room had a closing sliding door and a couch that opened into a bed. In a few words: location, parking, breakfast, rooftop pool, large clean rooms all for $80.00 a night.

The room is comfortable and spacious. The reception very friendly. We didn't have enough time to try the pool or gym, but the rooftop was great. We loved the breakfast - although we missed some traditional Portuguese options.

Staff were excellent especially the young lady at reception the day I arrived. I had gotten myself lost in the rain and was soaked through feeling sorry for myself, but she put a smile on my face with her helpful attitude and her attempts to communicate in English..my Portuguese wasn't any better.

Lovely hotel in the middle of the town. The rooms are spotless and modern and the bed was super comfy. There's a great breakfast included in the price so it's a no brainer for a stop in Serta. Really good value hotel that exceeded my expectations.

The hotel staff was extremely polite. The location was perfect and nearby to all the important spots. The room was clean and corresponded to the photo. It had a very comfortable bed as well. The breakfast was a good quality-price ratio and good variety.

I loved the price, the location and the size of the room. The girls were really helpful and nice on the front desk/bar. I absolutely adored the blackout blinds, I am going to research how to get some for my own home!

The breakfast left was so lovely (and I had enough to bring a lunch with me for later in the day). 10 out of 10 I totally recommend (the guest above us was a inconsiderate neighbor, really loud walker & banging stuff around after 11 - that’s my only complaint but they have no control over that. You should stay here!!!Do yourself a favor and walk over to Vista Bistro, it was the best meal we’ve had in Portugal

Para entrar te dan una clave de acceso para la puerta de entrada Hay aparcamiento privado en el alojamiento y hasta el mínimo detalle en la habitación. Equipada con pequeña cocina, cafetera, frigorífico, secador. Lugar perfecto para visitar la ciudad, está en el centro (a 5 min. andando). A las 8 de la mañana tienes el desayuno en la puerta, os aseguro que más que suficiente. Muy tranquilo. La cama y las almohadas de primera categoría.

Muito agradável, aconchegante. Mariana, a gerente, é incrível, ótima, nota 11. Faz toda diferença ter alguém como ela à frente do negócio. Boa localização, apartamentos limpos, confortáveis, decoração de muito bom gosto, tudo novinho em folha, com estacionamento incluso, wi-fi de boa velocidade.. O café da manhã (em Portugal, pequeno almoço) é muito bom. O único senão (que nem faz tanta diferença) é não ter uma portaria 24h. Recomendo e voltarei.

Also a perfect location, one minute walk from the town square with lots of cafes and bars, near the cathedral and about a ten minute walk from the castle. Leiria is also a lovely town to visit.

Residenza Dutzu was the perfect choice for our visit to Leiria. The apartment is excellent, centrally located in the heart of the city with plenty of restaurants nearby. It's also just a short walk to the castle. Cecilia was a wonderful host, always ready to help with any questions about the town.

The studio is clean. Equipped with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities. It looks recently remodeled so it's in great condition. Location is great, truly in the heart of Leiria so you're close to everything and there are plenty of restaurants and shops around you.

Já estive hospedado várias vezes neste hotel, muito bem localizado na linda Leiria, e recomendo a todos especialmente aqueles que estão de passagem ou vindo do norte ou vindo do sul, como é meu caso.

Although the building is a bit old and needs a little brushup, the rooms are very comfortable, the meals are served with high standar and the price is very satisfactory. Plus, it's located not too far from the city center: just enough to enjoy a peaceful staying and to be able to get to places with a little stroll.

We loved staying at Óbidos Wood Villas! The villas were unique, comfortable and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy a family vacation. We rented three of the family villas for our extended family trip and we had plenty of space to enjoy the pool, relax outdoors in shaded areas and to cook a meal together. There was so much care and attention put into creating these spaces, which were actually built by the owner and his wife! To top off the experience, they brought us incredible breakfast each morning with homemade sweets. We wished we could have stayed longer! What an incredible place and perfect location for day trips to Óbidos city, Nazaré, Aveiro and other destinations!

Good location about 15 min from Obidos; really cool construction of the villas; pool and hot tub that looked great, though we didn’t have a chance to use them; very generous breakfast that Helder brought to us the night before since we had to leave early for the airport; and very quiet at night!

Lovely guesthouse with spacious outdoor areas and lovely indoor spaces also. Our host was welcoming and responsive. The common areas are beautifully decorated, and our host gave many, many recommendations for nearby dining. The house is a 5 minute walk from a small grocery store, and there is a shared kitchen area if you want to prepare a meal or snacks. We stayed in the writer's room and loved it. Our bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the outdoor balcony was lovely. We awoke both mornings to the sound of birds singing-- it is a beautiful area and perfectly situated for walks in nature and the surrounding areas. We LOVED our stay and hope to return again.

The hostess, Sandra, is wonderful person, preparing delicious breakfast, accomodating to personal needs, and taking time to talk about the area and about life in general. The common spaces are attractive, comfortable and allow privacy when needed. The garden space is simply beautiful, the kitchen is available for use, if needed, and there is an honesty drink & snack bar. The room was nice and spacious, well equipped and clean. All the rooms are themed around art - dance, music, writing, painting. There's really a nice unique touch to this place! The area is beautiful, close to nature and close to shops and attractions.

Everything was so comfortable and the attention to details is exquisite. The bedrooms have Art "themes" such as 'Memory', 'Writing', 'Music' and 'Movement'. They are beautifully decorated. Breakfast was perfect, arranged by the glass window with the sounds of water and nature to keep you company. The details of it were so welcoming (the emoji stickers on the tableware's packet, the tiny pots, the Thermos). It was such a calm place to stay and relax. We absolutely loved it! There are two lagoons nearby which are stunning!

The property is an artistic heaven, with a personalised room house, with an ambience music and scents everywhere. Great host, answering to all your needs, ready to prepare your breakfast, to recommend you restaurants and things to absolutely see in the area. We really enjoyed the quiet countryside, where you can reconnect with nature, get energised for the agitated Lisbon and just take your time to enjoy it. You need a car to reach the property.

Marta was a very attentive host and is always available for whatever we needed. The location was very central and was perfect for what I needed to get done while in Marinha.

Was my favorite accommodation of the 3weeks in Portugal and 1week in Spain. Challet Fonte Nova was 5star, like a little piece of paradise. The grounds are rather large, private, and lush. It was peaceful, I enjoyed listening to the birds in the mornings, and I enjoyed the balcony overlooking and listening to the fountain often as well. It was the only accommodation during the month that offered wash cloths and a bath mat, which I loved. (Portugal has very slippery showers - take heed.) Challet excels in providing a pampering experience from linens to atmosphere. The staff was pleasant and the man who coordinates breakfasts went above and beyond by making a special trip to the store to buy oatmeal for my friend, ...and made it for the first time in his life, JUST for her! Unbelievable! Parking (smaller car is best) is onsite and there's an elevator. Walking into the heart of Alcobaca was easy (easy for Portugal), and driving to the other sites on the Silver Coast was easy from Alcobaca. If I return to Portugal, Challet Fonte Nova will be the first accommodation I try to book.

The place has been chosen to spend a night on our way from Lisbon to Porto. Turned out to be a real classy place with a 5 stars breakfast and an extremely polite stuff. The town itself was not too interesting for us, but the Challet is minutes drive from Óbidos and Nazaré. Very quiet and peaceful and one of the few places that truly looks carefully for the smallest details such as the delicate (real) flowers in the vases. The garden at the back is beautiful and there is a very nice shop of ceramics as well as a spa (which we didn't have time to enjoy).

This challet is a hidden gem of Alcobaça and Portugal in general. Only 15-20 min from the famous Nazare beaches, and in a very quiet, cute town. The staff was very much welcoming, and the place met our expectations: it is exactly like in photos. It has an antique build with very modern upgrade, and only 2 minutes by foot from the town centre, which has a lot of restaurants and cafes for lunch and dinner. Breakfast served at the challet was delicious with variety of baked goods, fruits, chees & ham platters, etc. I will definitely come back at some point! Thanks Pedro & Maria for the amazing stay <3

The “Challet” offers the perfect combination of the old and the new. We were traveling with friends who prefer more traditional (historic) accomdations, while we prefer more modern rooms. The Challet met their needs with a vintage room in the main Challet house, while we stayed in a modern and very large suite nearby on the same property. Together, we enjoyed two evenings of wine and snacks on the patio beside the Challet’s fountain with views of the garden. Pedro, who resides at the Challet every evening, kept us company during our happy hour respite.

The property located two minutes walking from the monastery, shops and restaurants. There is a spa next to the main building. Very nice lady, the owner, met us in her office and answered all the questions with a beautiful smile. She led us to the room prepared for us. There is an elevator, so no worries about the luggage . The property is very nice, it' was bery quiet and we had a nice sleep. Breakfast is delicious and served on time Highly recommended!

We felt like home, what a welcoming place. And very bear the beautiful sights of Peniche: the fortress, the old fishertown part and the volcanoes on Papoa. We definately recommend. Oh, and rhe handsewn clothes, knitted beachwear the hostelowner sells is so beautiful and stylish!

The hostel is in a convenient location, in the downtown, with restaurants and close to the beach, about 5-7 minutes on foot. The premises are cleaned often and the staff is hospitable.

Our fourth stop during our holiday in Portugal was Óbidos. If you’re arriving by car to this magical little region, I wholeheartedly recommend João’s fairytale accommodation in Vau. The whole house is beautifully furnished and full of charm – a true testament to João and his wife’s taste and hard work. The small garden is perfect for anyone looking to relax, and while the pool isn’t huge, it was just the right size for the kids to splash around in during the hot weather. The kitchen and dining area were fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable. At this place, I truly felt as if the host had shared his home with us. We had our own bedroom and bathroom, while the living room, kitchen, and dining area were shared with another guest couple – and we all agreed that both the house and the owner deserved nothing but praise. Thank you for having us, João! 🤗

Absolutely everything was perfect. The owner Joao Granado is an extremely thoughtful and accommodating person. We got sent a bunch of nearby locations for food, leisure activities and beaches sent via WhatsApp. The home is extremely cozy, the rooms are air conditioned, with a TV and an overhead shower. The patio is spacious and peaceful with a really nice pool to soak in on a sunny day. You can park right in front of the house for free. A washing machine and iron are also available.

House decorated with heart and tastefully, clean. Lots of amazing furniture and decorations. Fully equipped kitchen, you can feel like at home. We were with a group of friends so we felt at ease and comfortable. Cosy garden, small but clean swimming pool. Very helpful and friendly hosts, Joao sent us links to places to see, to eat, to do shopping, which was very helpful. There was a surprise waiting for us at the welcome 😉. Thanks to the hosts for their amazing hospitality!

Our room and the entire house are so beautifully decorated. We loved all the unique antiques. Everything was SO clean! Our balcony room was quite spacious with two levels. We also appreciated the use of the common kitchen and living room as well as the outdoor/pool courtyard. This is a fantastic place to stay a short drive from charming Obidos.Highly recommend!!

This accommodation was the best surprise of our trip. The house is located in a very quiet residential area not far by car to the city centre (you better have a car). From outside the house does not look that attractive, just another house like others, but once you enter in the appartment: WOW! What an effort in the decoration. It's an appartment (one floor) with 3 rooms and a dining room common for all the guests. The appartment is fully renovated and the decoration is fantastic, just like in a magazine. Huge bathroom with great shower, large bedroom with all comfort. A fridge in the dining room with some surprises for the guests. The owner was just so kind and friendly! And all this for a very reasonable price. I will recommend this accommodation to all my friends and I will come back for sure.

One of the best hostels we’ve stayed in! Our room was big and really nice (what we didn’t expect for the low price we payed), aswell as the kitchen. It was tidy and clean everywhere. They also have a beautiful outdoor area with a pool and the staff is very friendly.

The hostel is very modern, nicely decorated, and super clean. It is close to Fatima and other attractions. Ana is true delight who is very professional, takes time to make recommendations, and is welcoming and helpful. The owner of the hostel and his sister even took the time to drive to the hostel to help me with a very frustrating rental car problem that I encountered during my stay due to a language barrier and lack of communication on the part of the rental company. I would definitely recommend staying at this hostel.

Sue (and Mr Magee the dog) were fantastic hosts, who catered to our every need, and more. The breakfast was superb, fresh fruit and pastries and the coffee wonderful. Fresh orange juice from the trees. Sue showed us around her beautiful property including the well and identified places for us to visit. We have had such a quiet, relaxed and very comfortable few days at the cottage in the lake. We will come again. Thank you Sue for being a beautiful host. You have a wonderful place 😊

The Cottage is a very quaint, cosy, tastefully decorated place to stay. It had everything in it we needed to make our stay comfortable. The owner is a lovely lady who met us with a warm welcome. The breakfast was a lovely touch with jams made by herself from her home grown fruits and she also cooked us free range eggs! We only stayed one night but should have stayed longer. We enjoyed our visit :)

The Cottage near the lake is exactly what the name says. A beautiful cottage that is made just right so you can feel the whimsical energy of it. The road there was already beautiful and mesmerizing, but the view there was incredible! The hostess was very friendly and made sure our breakfast was ready in the garden before we woke up. The dogs greeting us at the entrance was also very lovely.

This was an amazing stay during our time in Obidos! The hotel staff were completely helpful The area itself was amazing, the hotel was so cool and the pool was NECESSARY because it was so hot while we were there and we were able to wait out the peak tourist time by the pool with probably the best view of the castle, the restaurants nearby were amazing, everything was so great! If you take public transport it's right near the bus stop which was incredibly convenient. Our one "con" is we thought it was a bit silly the hotel staff was made to wear Medieval costumes.

Close to everything you want to see and do...staff was very helpful. Parking garage is great.... Room was clean and the double superior room was large and had 6 windows! Pool was great and clean... Only downside was we had to pay 5 euros for the pool towels.

If you are happy with 'quirky' then this will work fine. The room keys are like something out of a medieval jail!! Rooms are great, location perfect just outside the city walls of Obidos, so everything immediately accessible without being in with the hoards of tourists. Breakfast really good and plentiful. One gripe, advertises a pool. It was very hot in the afternoon, so a dip would have been great but although end of May, pool 'not open' until 1 June, so if important it may be worth checking when its available.

We had a great spacious room with a view of the pool but had to go outside to access the room. A little problem with the rain. Parking available but arriving early was not and it is very slippery infront of the hotel but we were able to park. Great place for a one day stay at Obidos during a driving tour of Portugal. No need to stay more than that.

I was really satisfied with this small hotel. It was difficult to reach from the train station on foot as it is nearly at the castle gate but most of the readers will not be travelling that way. It is situated right on the main tourist street in the walled old city. The room was clean and charming with all the comforts incl. wi-fi internet service. The staff was unflaggingly courteous and spoke very good English, particularly the night clerk, who took quite a bit of time to answer my questions about Obidos and the surrounding area. Breakfast buffet was very good, too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a budget option and not afraid of a little walk.

I thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay at Rainha Santa Isabel Hotel or The Obidos History Hotel. It was right in the historic district yet very close to where you can catch the bus to other locations. The owners were exceptionally gracious, and I enjoyed the included breakfast very much. The view from my window was wonderful. When I look to the left, I could see the castle, and when I look to the right, I could see other historic buildings.

Impressed by the great location of the hotel (right in the middle of the old city) and they allow you to park inside the old city with a pass which is a plus. 4 beds room is ok (204) Main Street side with nice view! No tv (no need), internet. Only thing is that it has a bunk bed where the top bed doesn’t have a banister so felt insecure about risking falling down...

Driving into a medieval village with a large van is an experience in itself. We had to walk into the hotel and I had to find my way into the village to drop off the luggage....Believe me, NOT EASY!!!! I had taken a cruise´s excursion to the village and my friends had heard about it.......It is worth a visit! The hotel is aging, but cutesy......The staff were helpful and super friendly.

Located inside the walls of Obidos, where the streets are just wide enough for modern cars, Rainha Santa Isabel is magnificent! The hotel is clean and nice. Everything is close and within 5 minutes walking. Parking is 2 minutes from the hotel, in the town square. Only thing not 100% is the WiFi, that was working only in the lobby and not in the room. Other than that - everything was great!
