My fiancé and I had a truly lovely experience at the spa in Hotel Continental. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed: the atmosphere was calm, the staff attentive, and the whole experience was thoughtfully managed. One detail that meant a lot to us: they kindly allowed us to bring our baby into the pool during a quieter time, free of charge. It was a simple gesture, but it made a big difference and allowed us to enjoy the spa together without any stress. We also booked two massages during our visit, and both were excellent: deeply relaxing, skillfully done, and tailored to exactly what we needed. A special thanks to Valentina, the spa manager, who is not only professional and organized but also warm, approachable, and clearly passionate about what she does. She’s put together a fantastic team — everyone we encountered was friendly, respectful, and genuinely attentive. The spa itself is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and designed for real relaxation. But what made the experience stand out was the level of care and thoughtfulness from the people running it. Highly recommended : we left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and truly looked after. :)

Our stay at Hotel Continental was absolutely outstanding. We were fortunate to stay on the third floor with an incredible large balcony with a beautiful view. The hotel is beautiful. The grounds, the pool, the cleanliness and the customer service is exemplary. I cannot say enough how amazing this hotel is. Will definitely be back on my next trip to the Italian Riviera

This hotel is more than fabulous! Our terrace view was spectacular. The gardens and sea pool area was immaculate. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious, as was dinner.

The grounds are stunning. The rooms are great and our view was exceptional. The restaurant is excellent as is the dining by by the pool.

Everything was amazing from the pool to the hostesses. They took care of us like my own family would . We will definitely miss them and the gorgeous villa . We’ll be back :))

Great location with a superb view on the Mediterranean Sea and French Riviera (from Menton to Monte Carlo and up to Nice). Very clean and large room and bathroom. We stayed in the "La Dolce Vita" room (the red room): we did not care much for the jacuzzi, but we believe it is the room with the best view from the balcony and even from the shower. Friendly and very accommodating staff. Good location close to freeway exit and city center. We stayed just one night, but we would recommend enjoying the property for a couple of days. Overall, very quiet, although it's a residential villa and much depends on other guest's behavior.

We stayed at Nyala hotel for a week and we had a great experience! The staff is very kind and professional, they offered us a larger room than the one we had booked. A very bright room, with sea view, an office desk , - excellent for me - a large terrace, well kept bathroom, impeccable cleaning service. Surrounded by greenery, from the Hotel Nyala it is possible to admire a breathtaking panoramic view; the breakfast is excellent, very diversified, impossible not to have a taste of the really delicious cakes. Pool, tourist goals, bike path, gorgeous beach, we will definitely be back to stay at Nyala Hotel!

Hotel ist im guten Zustand, nicht ganz modern aber die Zimmer sind im guten Zustand Frühstück typisches italienische Art, viel süsses Gebäck, entweder man mag diese Art von Frühstück oder nicht. Pool sehr sauber und grösser als gedacht Personal ist sehr freundlich, sehr gutes Reinigungspersonal, das sich sehr mühe gibt und richtig Sauber macht

Nice hotel, a little bit out of town but good free shuttle service. Staff speak good English and were very helpful. Nice pool area, good restaurants and bar areas. We had a nice modern family room which had previously been two seperate rooms, so had two bathrooms. Only negative was the water pressure in one of the showers was not enough to get wet under and the other one kept falling off the wall.

Beautiful spacious property with a great salt water swimming pool.

Amazing hospitality, lovely host. We were terribly late with the booking of our room but Villa Giulia made sure everything was in order when we arrived and made sure we had everything we were in need of. Beautiful place, amazing breakfast; definitely recommended!

Wonderful hosts, both Giullia and her daughter were very welcoming. The breakfast is fantastic (especially the home made tart) and Gragnola is a lovely, medieval village. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

This place is AWESOME! Do not hesitate and book it right away! The pictures do not do justice of beauty of the view You'll have in this villa, the view is STUNNING! The house itself is new, super comfortable, great layout and very well equipped. Bedrooms have mattresses of great quality, as well as the linens. The feel is like You're staying in 5 star hotel, but with total privacy! The pool area is so nice to chill out, swim and enjoy the view, our kids never wanted to leave :) Location is superb to explore Cinque Terre + everything else beautiful this area has to offer. Matteo himself is one of the best hosts we have met in our numerous travels, super responsive and helpful in every way! Special thanks for everything!

We had a great week in Colori di Mare. The photos really don't do the property justice. The house feels really new and is stylishly decorated and everything is spotlessly clean. Special mention for the very comfy beds! Outside, the view over the bay is amazing and the pool is a really good size and is perfect for a cool down during warm weather. Matteo gave our stay an extra special touch, with his mini van, he takes the stress away from thinking about parking for day trips or quick messages to the shop. He has lots of tips and advice with things to do and even left some fresh tomatoes & zucchinis from his garden! A wonderful location for a family holiday - we had a great time!!

Wonderful experience!!! Matteo picked us up at the station with his minibus and drove us to the villa. The place is amazing, clean, and includes all comforts. Chilling in the pool was great with a fantastic view even if the weather was not the best. The owner is a very nice guy, always willing to help and the free minibus service to visit the town of Lerici was the cherry on the cake. The bed was very comfortable with double pillows. Fast wi-fi.

While there are not many reviews here yet, since the villa was built quite recently, I want to leave my review so that future guests have fewer doubts when booking it. Even though the photos of the villa look like very good design renderings, they accurately reflect what the villa is. It has literally everything you can dream of. Every time the thought arose that it would be nice to use this or that device, it was immediately found - an ice maker, a wine refrigerator (not empty 😉), a steamer and much, much more. I'm not even talking about the fantastic view of the Gulf of Poets from the villa. The attitude of the owner of the villa, Matteo, deserves special attention. He not only booked lunch for our entire family in a nearby restaurant as an apology for a later arrival than we originally planned, but also drove and picked us up from the nearby villages every day, since it is simply impossible to park your car there. And at the end of our stay, he took us to a local winery for a tasting of very good wine. For anyone who has doubts, I suggest you cast them aside and spend unforgettable days at the villa. Beautiful brand new property with incredible views.

Newly renovated stone villa. You can smell the scent again. Extremely clean. In addition to towels, all guests are also provided with soft bathrobes that are very comfortable for the pool. I really enjoyed swimming in the pool admiring the sea and then wrapping myself in a white bathrobe and being able to stay like that for hours. The comfort of a 5-star hotel and the privacy of an isolated villa. We appreciated the high quality cotton sheets, the soft linen and the extreme cleanliness. Very refined furnishings and some works of art differentiate this villa from other often aseptic luxury homes. The villa is a country house not a loft in New York so you have to accept a few insects, a couple of oleander flowers fallen in the garden and some earth on the street but the quiet you will breathe here is spectacular. We live in the city with the trams rattling all night under the house and this place, the scent of the sea, the swimming pool, the view, has bewitched us: Privacy, sea view and a splendid typical village, olive trees and silence all around, which peace! We didn't leave the house. We had dinner and groceries delivered and didn't want to go back to the chaos of the waterfront. 3 suggestive and particular rooms. Large bathrooms with large showers. Outdoor solar shower Spectacular BBQ. Huge rooftop solarium

Great villa with an amazing view over the village and the sea. We had a fantastic weekend in this lovely home. The host is very friendly and helpful, we had a great communication and found very easily the house. The house is very comfortable with a lovely decoration. We loved the garden, the pool, the BBQ and the terrace on the roof. We also enjoyed the fact that we could park ours cars for free on the PAM supermarket so we could go to the beach and go biking on the seaside. I would recommend to everyone to come here and we will for sure come back.

The villa was beautiful and clean, with a lovely pool perfect for daily relaxation. We really appreciated having a private parking spot near the beach. It made our beach trips much easier and stress-free. Overall, a very pleasant stay, we’d be happy to come back.

The house is spacious, clean and well maintained, newly renovated and perfect for families. The garden is nice and the jacuzzi and brassero grill was a great addition to our trip as we enjoyed it very much. The drive up to the property is gorgeous so i advise to arrive during daytime to appreciate it more. The owner is extra nice too and helpful! Definitely would be back.

We would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel! It was located a 5 minute walk from the train station, with easy access to surrounding towns — including Cinque Terre and Portofino. It was also just a quick walk to the sea and the city centre. The staff was so friendly and hospitable, and made our experience very special. The front desk was open 24 hours, and they stored our luggage for a few hours when we arrived and after we checked out. Our room was clean and comfortable and the rest of the hotel was also very clean. Overall, this is an excellent choice if you are looking for a hotel in Chiavari and we hope to be back someday!

Had a twin room as requested. Very clean and comfortable. Nice balcony even had a tablecloth for the table outside. Hair dryer and small fridge in room. Water extra. No hot drink facilities in room though. Breakfast was a large selection of cold buffet. Long hours for breakfast and no time restrictions at night as 24 hour reception. Staff very friendly, spoke English. Able to keep our luggage in reception as our train left a few hours after check out. Can be a bit noisy on balcony as above a main road and right near the train line but good noise insulation with patio doors closed. Great central location. Would stay again as very good value for money.

The hotel staff were welcoming and charming to us. The breakfast buffet , which extended down both sides of the long dining room,was the best we've had in Italy, the choice was enormous, from traditional cakes and pastries to many choices of muesli, nuts, dried fruit, eggs and cheeses. Even bottles of Activa macrobiotic drink ! After breakfast we went for a walk under the colonnades of nearby historic Chiavari, which was very atmospheric on a rainy day. All in all we had a lovely stopover here.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and it was perfectly situated to visit Portofino and Cinque Terre by train. The hotel staff were extremely kind — they allowed us to store our bags when we arrived and were at the desk at all hours for support. The included breakfast had many wonderful options, and had the best cappuccinos! Chiavari is a lovely town and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you’re visiting the surrounding areas!

They were super gentle, give us great advice on free beach’s, restaurants, bars, etc around! The breakfast was really good, and the place in general is great managed! To add, is super close by the train station and a super market.

The hotel is a standard three star hotel with a great location. The staff are nice and the food is good. Sometimes, they get extremely busy at breakfast when everyone wants to eat at the same time. The pool is plus and is a nice bar there to have a drink after a day sightseeing. The room was plain and clean, and there was a safe, which was good. The only thing was the walls were a bit thin. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.

Great location, very close to the city center but in the same time, the street is very quiet, it wasn't noisy at all during the night which was great.The staff is very friendly and eager to help. The buffet breakfast offers a lot of options and can be served in the garden . Our room was very clean and it had everything we needed .

I like this old atmosphere of Villa Maria. Tasty breakfasts, super comfertable lovation of hotel. Its near bay. We were very grateful that personal was waiting for our chick in as we got to hotel later than ordinary chick in.

They pay attention on the details, very clean, the breakfast was a very good buffet with the staff serving you the food, that is nice because guests do not disorganize the food. Location was very good too.

Great hotel with very friendly people. The furniture might need some upgrade, wifi could be quicker however all these weaker points are beated by the very friendly italian atmoshpere and lovely people working at the hotel!

The location is perfect, it is close to the train station (10min walk),the supermarket and the shops are near by and the sea is in a walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely come back.

I booked a room for my daughter and some friends who were traveling through Europe by train. They needed to spend the night in Ventimiglia to wait for the early morning train. Having had a flight cancelled from Nice once at the airport due to strikes we decided to head to Italy to fly home from there. Did an overnight stop at this hotel after seeing good reviews. Beds comfortable & everything clean. Value for money and good location close to railway station and shops

The receptionist was very nice and helpful, spoke English and French very well. Room was spotless, wonderful to see a large ceiling fan as well as air con. Bed super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the whole hotel seemed as though it had just been re furbished. Absolutely spotlessly clean.

This hotel has a magical little gem in its Paradise Room. The team are very welcoming and accomodating, All areas of the reception area and room were exceptionally clean and gave everything for a comfortable stay even though for one night only. Breakfast gave an excellent choice of continental meats, cheeses, bread, yoghurt, tea and coffees, no mean portions and all served at your table. The Paradise room had a superb 'large'balcony with sunbeds, hammock, table & chairs and a wonderful hottub/jacuzzi. When you mix this with a fantastic view you have an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Moving between coastal towns is made very simple by using the local transport, every 15 mins and at a very reasonable 3 euros. Thank you.

A precious little family hotel in a quiet location right between Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino. The bus stop is right outside and also the Trail of Kisses - a gorgeous pedestrian trek to Portofino with fabulous sea views. The hotel is very chic, old fashion respecting good old values of comfort and quality service. Breakfast was my most favourite experience - you are served with love by the family themselves. At the end they offered us a lovely bottle of Limoncino, mane with lemons from their own orchard. Loved it! I look forward to returning there again. Thank you for the most welcoming stay!

We only spent one night here but it was great. We booked the last free room that unfortunately didn´t have bathroom and we had to walk through the hall with other rooms to get into our bathroom which might be a bit uncomfortable to anyone. But we knew this ahead + if you spend here only 1 night it´s no problem. At the end the price was very reasonable considering you´re so close to one of the most expensive locations in Italy! And both our room and the bathroom were clean. We can totally recommend this hotel!

We could not have been happier with the Hotel Argentina. We had room #10 that was spacious and had its own bathroom. It is a European hotel where there is no lift, so be prepared. The staff is amazing, friendly and we took advantage of their boat tour which I would highly recommend! The location of the property is perfect nestled between Portofino and Santa Margherita Liguria. And you can’t miss some time on the beach of Paraggi bay. We will be coming back!

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. Good location 20mins walk to Portofino and 45mins walk to Santa Margherita..... The views from this area are just magical. This is a family run hotel, small rooms but very clean and everything you need in a hotel room. Breakfast typically European, very fresh and served with a smile. It was an enjoyable stay and we were presented with a bottle of Limoncello by the owner...... lovely touch

We had a great time. Vanessa was amazing and really looked after us. The breakfast team ditto. Pool staff lovely and my wife enjoyed Woga in pool. Bar staff a pleasure. Mary took such great care of us to celebrate our anniversary. Just need to lower hanging rails in bedrooms.

We stayed at the Miramare for a few nights in June 24. It was a last minute trip and we were very pleased by our hotel choice. The building looks very impressive and the garden / pool area are very clean and nicely decorated. Everything matches the vibe and feels very stylish. We loved the breakfast, especially the possibility to sit outside and enjoy the view with your coffee. Valbona and her breakfast team are true gems and manage even the most stressful situations with grace, patience and stay very friendly. The valet parking is very convenient and we never had issues to get the barrier to open. Just klick on the button and they open it. What we especially liked was the location, you have direct access to the beach promenade but are also very close to restaurants and shops, as well as the Casino. We loved to go for a walk and just enjoy the city or beach. All the staff we‘re always very friendly and helpful for all of our inquiries. Overall I can absolutely recommend this Hotel. The only critique i would have is the cocktail prices of the bar, but we just went outside to get some drinks, so no issue for us.

Great hotel, from the initial drive up to front door to meet valet parking to the welcome in reception. All staff extremely helpful and friendly with no issues. Pool side relaxing environment with comfy sun loungers. Free use of the electric bike make getting around an easy ride. Ample choice of food at breakfast with a wide range of fresh fruit, cold meats& cheese. Could stay for a week to try each individual pastries

Location is great! Close to the train station and close to the main interest areas! Staff was super friendly and very helpful! Breakfast was great! Not a huge variety but for Italy it is a lot(in other hotels fancier than this we got a coffee and a biscuit)! The room size was good and although we found that soundproofing is not the best we did not have a huge amount of noise passing through the walls. Overall a great experience! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

An unexpected and absolute jewel tucked away in downtown Rapallo. We were given a charming little room with its own balcony that had a table and two chairs. The bathroom was spotless and contained some lovely little packages, shower cap, earbuds, even little sachets of intimate soap. We found these things very thoughtful. The service was wonderful, people were so kind and helpful and the breakfast was great.

This hotel has wonderful location where we are easily reach the train station, city center and a lot of attraction sites. The staff is so nice and helpful. The breakfast is very nice. The room is clean, warm, quite and comfortable. The WiFi works also very well. If we visit Rapallo next time, we like to stay in this nice hotel again.

We have never been to a hotel with so a nice staff!! Everything was perfect, the room was super clean with a nice balcony, breakfast was nice too, and we felt at home. The location of the hotel is perfect if you travel by train. If we come back, hotel Il Gatto only! :)

Everything was great! The authentic receptionist made us feel welcome, checked us in and showed us to our room. The linen was clean and neatly laid out. Breakfast is simple, but everything is fresh and tasty. We were very pleased that the hotel maintains a high level of service during the low season.

This was perhaps the most tastefully decorated hotel i've ever stayed in. I stayed there with my wife and baby for 2 nights in September 2012. The room was a good size and in excellent condition (freshly painted, very stylish, great bathroom). The staff were friendly and helpful. My only two criticisms of the hotel were that the only entrance was via an external staircase, which was a massive hassle with a stroller and that there was no pool. The hotel however does have an arrangement with a nearby private beach (Bagna Tahiti), whereby you can rent a beach chair, towels and an umbrella for a reasonable 10 EU per day (per person). The food at the private beach was excellent, particularly the seafood spaghetti. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

What a nice experience. Got a great deal at almost half price, and that was real bargain. The location was great at the end of the main pedestrian street. Ample, public parking just a cross the hotel. The hotel is small, neet and very well kept. Room was equally neat, nicely decorated and comfortable. My room faced the church at the back, but at that price it was still a bargain. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. The breakfast room was so nice, bright, with a view of the ocean and white linen on the tables. Offerings very of the highest quality, fresh orange juice and coffee to your choice. Reception and breakfast room staff were very service minded and friendly throughout. For a one night stay I did not miss anything. For a longer stay there is no public area or lounge, and the bar is open during the morning only. I find that strange, but as you are at the city center it´s not really a problem. I would certainly stay here again.

Excellent choice and good value considering the size and condition of the room. Our room (junior suite) had 3 large french windows onto small balconies, all with sea views. Money has obviously been spent throughout the hotel and the service was good. Rated at 4 stars but probably due to lack of dining facilities. as 5 star in every other regard. The restaurant didn’t open in the evrning but not a problem as only a short walk into the centre of town. The only thing to be aware of is the road noise - the room had shutters, electric blinds and double glazing but it does mean closing everything at night and relying on the air con (which wasn’t great). No on-site parking but on-street outside at €4 per half day, or a pay car park across the road by what used to be the train station.

A perfect place to relax and forget about everything. Very nice, comfortable and extremely clean room. Excellent location. To reach the sea you just have to cross the road. Would thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel by the sea. The staff are helpful and friendly. Celle is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is short walk away from centre. An excellent value for money and will definitely go back!

Ett underbart ställe! Personligt, härlig inredning, mycket bra badrum, rent, bekvämt och direkt vid stranden. Vi reser med vår labrador Fille. Vi fick ett stort vackert rum där de stora glasdörrarna öppnades mot egen liten trägård som gränsar till stranden. En trerätters läcker middag fick vi levererat till vårt rum, vi satt ute och åt den till ljudet av vågorna mot stranden och vi fick som bonus, på lite avstånd uppleva ett bröllop som pågick på hotellet. Vänlig och serviceinriktad personal. På andra sidan av hotellet finns en fin marina. Frukosten var också bra. Hit kommer jag gärna igen. Det enda om inte funkade till hundra procent var wifi uppkopplingen som vi blev utloggade ifrån hela tiden. Detta var vår bästa hotellupplevelse hittills och vi har bott på en hel del hotell!

An nice contemporary style hotel in a good location. A friendly welcome at reception, lovely big room, free wi-fi, very good choice at breakfast, free parking and it's own beach. Right next to a marina and a 10 minute walk along the sea front to the village of San Lorenzo al Mare. Not much in the village, but worth the walk for the restaurants, which are great value. Minus points? Well despite having it's own beach, residents are still expected to pay for the sun loungers, and some of the things that cost extra at breakfast are a bit cheeky. Despite that, I'd recommend it and would definitely go back.

Bike friendly hotel right on the beach. Our room looked out over the water, and we experienced 2 very lovely sunrises over the Sea. Ate dinner at the restaurant and were quite pleased with the food. Lots of seafood, presumably fished straight out from our location. Decor in the lobby is bicycle oriented, and there were biking prints on our room walls as well. Staff was helpful in arranging meals for us. Breakfast at the hotel was bountiful and delicious. You can take a day at the beach, with chaises and umbrella provided by hotel. There is a nice bike/paved path that runs along the water for many kilometers.

Rien à dire, établissement vraiment impeccable - l'accueil et les renseignements au check-in, le SPA privatisé pour deux heures (et les bulles du jacuzzi... et du prosecco offert), la suite vue mer qui nous a fait profiter d'une belle lune la nuit et du lever du soleil le matin, le restaurant bien sympa avec personnel au petit soin pour le dîner comme pour le petit déjeuner... séjour fort agréable pour des retrouvailles entre copines au top ! Mille mercis, on reviendra :)

This is probably the first 4 star hotel in Italy that exceeded my expectations on every count. The location is exceptional, right on the beach and within easy drive from some beautiful towns in Liguria. The rooms are nicely appointed and the staff are exceptional. The choices at breakfast are also very good and the small village itself is a hidden gem. If the hotel had a spa and a small boutique, it could be considered for a 5 star.

Great location near the beach. Friendly welcoming staff. Wide selection at breakfast. Clean room with lovely balcony. Free parking opposite. This is exactly how small independent hotels should be run.

Staff was really nice and friendly. It is small hotel, but it was more than enough for our stay. Good breakfast and coffee :)

Clean room, exceptional breakfast and amazing staff

For a really good price we got a nice room in the lovely town of Marina di Massa. The breakfast was included and it was superb.

We loved this Hotel/Resort. The staff was super accommodating esp the ladies that worked at the front counter during the morning and afternoon. Super nice they helped us make some calls to try and arrange a trip since my Italian isn't that good. Also the Lifeguard was super helpful getting us towels the first day we arrived. And one of our favorite employees was the bartender at the pool. He really couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating... And he went out of his way to try and understand my Italian... Also the lady's at breakfast were super nice and friends. And the Lady's that kept the rooms clean were super super exceptional. Our room was always super clean and nice it was impeccable which is really saying something since I was traveling with kids.

Lovely new hotel good free wi fi. Hard to find even with a tom tom post code gave up 10 options and maybe a language thing but we found it hard to find and we travel a lot in Europe. Evening meal on site was very good in a smart restaurant and pool was clean and new. One night stop for us so did not do much local though town looked very nice.

Excellent hotel, away from the busy touristy areas but still within easy reach by car. Visited lerici, the marble mountains, tellaro, Amelia, pisa all an easy drive away. Lovely garden and pool. Helpful staff who spoke English.

Närområdet är lite tråkigt men bra affärer och tillgång till bil underlättar. Bra frukost och barnen gillade poolen. Lugnt hotell med spa-möjligheter. Trevlig personal, rent och snyggt med fint grönområde som passade barnen. Lugnt.

Best place we've stayed so far - great friendly, helpful staff, nicely furnished room with quality fittings, great restaurant. Only blemishes were that the pool and jacuzzi are only open from 15th of June!
