Casa Balthazar is a true urban oasis. The location on a quiet street is just the beginning. Breakfast is wonderful! The staff at Casa Balthazar are so welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to handle a critical laundry need for us, alleviating a substantial source of stress from our trip. We had action packed days, and it was so relaxing to return to Casa Balthazar for an afternoon coffee, slice of cake, dip in the pool, or rest in our spacious room. The bed was extremely comfortable and air conditioning was exceptional. Thank you to the wonderful team at Casa Balthazar!

A perfect location to explore Lisbon. The Hotel has so much history and charm. The breakfast room is located in the old bakery - check the old oven out. Our room was great and other general rooms are well presented and well decorated with great decor and furniture. Every resturants just up the end of the street and elswhere. Close to trams and railiway station, you have to of course walk up steps and paths - but the is Lisbon. The pool was a real bonus of course and a great way to relax and refresh after a day sighseeing etc. Roy was great on the front desk and gave up some great tips to help us explore the city and all the sights. I was feeling a ill on the last day, so we able to leave our our bags and then come back to the hotel till our late evening flight. We well looked after and first thought we have to go to a local hospital that was arranged for us. I came much better in the taxi so we went to the airport instead. All good. If you could rate a hotel 11/10 I would do so for CB.

This place is THE BEST! And if we On my way! back to Lisbon we would definitely stay here ! The whole place is absolutely spotless and the staff were so lovely and very helpful Our room Jucuzzi 111 was fabulous with beautiful view from the jucuzzi on balcony all over the city, the room itself was massive and so was the bathroom and spotlessly clean with everything you might need plus a welcome bottle of red wine. The facilities in the rest of the hotel were fabulous with an honesty bar so you can serve yourself a drink whenever The pool in the courtyard was lovely and had nice sun beds and grassed area The breakfast was deliciously Fresh it mainly is continental but you can also order eggs My favourite was the Portuguese tarts they were delicious!! I could go on and on about Casa Baltazar it is that good 😊 Definitely 5 star all round ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was brilliant! Fantastic location in such a pretty street and neighbourhood with lots of nice restaurants. Our room was huge and tastefully decorated with a magnificent view of Lisbon and the Castle. We felt like we were part of the city. Staff members were so helpful at each point of the stay, at arrival, at breakfast, when booking restaurants and taxis and on check out. The breakfast was ample and in a beautiful room and the all day ‘cake and coffee’ was a lovely touch. We did not use the spa and pool but in the summer this would be a welcome event. The art work and furniture everywhere was tasteful and we loved the ‘honesty’ bar although we did not use it. The little kitchenette in our room was great to make tea and coffee - clever idea. We loved the whole experience of Casa Balthazar and were very sad to leave.

Casa Balthazar is an absolute gem! A friend recommended it and we’re grateful they did. We loved the decor and the warm and inviting atmosphere of the hotel. It’s in a wonderful, central location. Breakfast was excellent and included delicious cakes, cookies, and pastries made in a local restaurant owned by the hotel owners. We stayed in the Panoramic Terrace, which was spacious and had a breathtaking view of Lisbon from our terrace. The hotel has a spa and a small swimming pool that looked very inviting, but we didn’t get a chance to use them. All the staff were incredible - they were super friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond expectations. Weeks before we arrived, Ruth was amazing in helping us plan our itinerary and make reservations for tours and dinners. If we ever go back to Lisbon, we would definitely stay at Casa Balthazar again!

Mood hotel is a fun experience - the whole design gives a feeling of a secret, sexy getaway: private garage parking, room service through anonymous service doors, the decor and jacuzzi bath, etc. The location was close enough to Lisbon to make it easy to go back and forth, but far from the hustle of the city, and great value for money

The cleaning team needs to be more attentive than just hurrying the job of under cleaning. The bathroom was cleaned ok but time & time again they FORGOT to fill up the soap dispensers. Had to complain 3 times over 3 days to get it sorted. Nevertheless they gave me enough soap & shampoo etc to last me over a week . To be fair the Manager couldn’t be any nicer who extended the courtesy of giving complimentary breakfast for two for the rest of the week we were there. Hats off to Nuno the pool person very humble & jovial & very hard working chap who looked after everyone at the poolside. Overall loved it & definitely would be back when I can. A round of applause to the whole staff who do go out their way to make one’s time SPECIAL there . A big thank you guys.

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to metro and bus lines. The center of Lisbon and tourist attractions are a brisk 15-20 minute walk. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with views of Lisbon. The spa and pool area is a highlight and an ideal place to relax after a day sightseeing. The spa/pool staff are very helpful, friendly and kind. The hotel restaurant provides a brilliant atmosphere and excellent food. The nightly singer are exceptional especially the Sunday evening modern music with a jazz element.

Our room was super quiet and peaceful. The house keeping was good. The pool and spa were really nice and the pool guy was super friendly and helpful. On the downside, the staff weren’t particularly happy. Most didn’t seem to enjoy their work.

I had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton in Lisboa. My room was upgraded upon arrival, which was a lovely surprise, and I was given a welcome gift of pasteis de nata, and the reception staff were exceptional – too many names to remember, but each of them made me feel very welcome. A special thanks to Carlita at breakfast, who was so attentive and thoughtful, even remembering my knee needs, which I greatly appreciated. At the pool, Nuno the barman, along with Ali, were outstanding – attentive, kind, and always checking in on guests to make sure we were comfortable. I would also like to thank the spa staff for their kindness and professionalism. The room itself was spotless, very comfortable, with excellent amenities, I especially loved the Ghilchrist and Soames toiletries. The hotel’s location was perfect. Overall, everyone at the hotel contributed to a truly memorable experience, clearing shoring their live for their job. I would definitely stay here again. Obrigada!

The service is amazing! We travel a lot! I have never been to a hotel so laser focused on service. From the reception desk, pool attendants, housekeeping and especially the food service workers, we did not encounter a single snafu. The lounge happy hour every night and the morning buffet breakfast are top notch, with such attention to detail! Live music every night we were here. Also of note, the air conditioning in our room was COLD and the water pressure in the shower was strong!This is not common in many hotels! This hotel really is a gem. Stop by the Bistro Lounge and seek out an interesting and attentive waiter named Paulo and darling waitress named Sara. Delightful people! We are switching to another hotel tomorrow that is rated higher than this one. I wish we were staying here!

The location was fantastic. The hosts were exceptionally responsive, friendly and helpful. The private pool was so nice - it was a lovely warm day and relaxing to sit around the pool and enjoy the privacy and tranquility. We used both beds and a cot. Everything was clean and homely. We had recommendations for what to do, what to eat and the hosts went out of their way to make sure we made our flight on time. Thank you so much! We will be back if we ever return to Portugal. :)

Regarding the outdoor amenities, we enjoyed playing football, basketball, table tennis, and pool, making full use of these facilities. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to utilize the outdoor BBQ area, which would have been the icing on the cake. Indoors, we had access to board games and cards, which provided additional entertainment and the bluetooth system set the mood. Transportation via Ubers/Bolt was very affordable, allowing us to travel conveniently to various destinations. The location from the airport was approximately 34-40 minutes, with a cost of £17. The beaches near the villa were only an 8-minute drive, costing us £2. Additionally, there was an Aldi just a 6-minute drive away, and nearby golf courses with restaurants. The villa's location within a gated and surveilled area provided us with peace of mind during our stay. Overall, the villa was accommodating for our group of 10 people, offering ample amenities and a pleasant experience

The hotel is spacious. It’s near the airport and bus and train stations. It is not close to the main strip. It is going through renovations. It has a pool and they provide towels for the pool. They have activities throughout the day for the kids. There is a restaurant on sight. The staff are friendly.

Excellent room and staff, but swimming pool was a bit disapointment. It was the main reason we booked it, but found pool to be too small and not in pleasant surroundings. Could def be improved.

Room was clean and comfy. The barman (mentioned to call him John) think his name was Tao was amazing - he provided us with stuff to keep the kids entertained. Spoke about the area and gave us some great advice. Recommended and made some amazing drinks and made sure the pool area was clean and we were comfortable at all times. A real asset to your hotel!!

We stayed 3 nights in this comfortable, clean and modern hotel. As others have said, location is perfect to catch the nearby metro, a train from Rossio station or the tram 28 or 12 stops nearby. We had room 511, a spacious attic type room with lovely small window view of the castle. We did have to mind our heads but it wasn't problematic. Air conditioning was excellent, bed was comfy and bathroom efficient. The breakfast buffet was great. Much better than the buffets in chain hotels in North America. We really appreciated the fridge which we stocked with water etc purchased at the convenience store right next door. This hotel is in an old character building that, like many others in Lisbon, has been renovated and repurposed to a high standard for hotel use. Because of this, you get attic rooms, small elevators, smaller indoor spaces etc. but all very comfortable and good value for a short stay. For a longer stay we would choose a hotel in a less busy and crowded location.

Spent 4 nights here at this extremely nice hotel which was well located near Praca da Figueira. Our humungous room 606 was on the top floor. The decor was very modern with 2 single beds side-by-side, 2 nightstands, wardrobe, desk/chair and another chair. The good sized bathroom had a walk-in shower. There was a small TV and refrigerator hidden in the wardrobe. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They let us pay for a late check out which was much appreciated. The only minor negative was that we had to take one elevator to the second floor, get off there, walk down a hall and take another elevator to the sixth floor. There is a DIY laundry just up the street. The hotel is near the Rossio train station and Metro stop.

Stayed one night on route to Faro.. we had a great stay, staff were kind and helpful, and we especially loved our bags being put in our rooms from the luggage storage while we were out exploring before check in. Nice touch. We loved the smell of the room, it was clean, spacious with comfy large bed and pillows. Aircon worked and the shutters made the room super dark so we slept very well. Our room faced internally so we had no view but it made it very quiet. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Location of hotel is great and there are great restaurants within a minutes walk plus the tram 28 is 2 mins away. Well worth the long queue to get in it. Have patience!

Booked this through a local travel agent, bed and breakfast and it was superb. Location was brilliant, and well situated centrally. Room we had was lovely clean and compact. (had to take 2 lifts though which didn't bother us. One to 2nd floor, walk down corridor and then one to 5th.) Room well cleaned daily. Breatfast was great with a large buffet selection both hot and cold ( the mini Pastel de Nata were my favourite of the whole trip) The Praça da Figueira square is a 30 second walk. Plenty restaurents near by and the hop on hop off buses are close by plus the metro. Theres a well stocked mini market shop next to hotel for water etc.

Stayed with my family of four had a very nice double room. Rooms were clean and very quiet considering you are in the heart of the city. We were able to walk to almost all the places we wanted to see. Tram 28 ends/begins a block away. Able to walk to castle Sao Jorge, Rossio train station, down to the waterfront. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Front desk staff was very friendly and they were nice enough to store our luggage the day we arrived and the day we checked out so we could have more time to explore Lisbon

There is a supermarket right next to the hotel where you can buy what you need and also eat a good and cheap breakfast. The staff was incredibly kind and let us store our bags before and after our stay, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was alright, we only ate there one morning because we had to leave early the other days, but it was good enough for the price. The dining area, lounge and bathrooms looked clean and organized. The room was according to the pictures, it was quite spacious and comfortable for what we paid, ours came with a balcony as well. The shared kitchen for guests was a nice touch, we never got around to use it but it's something quite useful for any future stays. Highly reccomended!

Staff were remarkably helpful and friendly, notably Felipe on reception. Building was kept well maintained and scrupulously clean. Access to building, room and spacious personal locker via electronic key-card gave a real sense of security and a measure of privacy. The location was excellent, quiet but within metres of a main artery with the metro close by. What could help improve? I was in a shared room (2.02) on the second floor, and needed to use the toilet during the night. The room door was a tight fit, and needed a forceful slam in order to close it properly, probably disturbing the sleep of fellow-occupants. A carpenter could fix this in a few minutes. I had a very pleasant stay (three nights) and would very happily return.

Perfect location along the green line of the metro. Professional and thorough cleaning staff. The receptionists at the front desk were excellent, informative, super friendly, and always professional. This hostel is perfect for all types / all ages, such as: couples, families, groups, and solo travelers as well. The kitchen on the top floor is a great asset and very useful for those who don't wish to eat out every day or if you're on a budget. The Intendente location is a great neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and facilities and amenities around. And finally, the coffee shop in the lobby downstairs is also charming and welcoming. I strongly recommend this establishment, because Be Lisbon Hostel Intendente will make your stay in Portugal a wonderful experience!

I am disabled. The bathroom was too small for my walker and toilet and shower had no grab bars. There is elevator to 4rh floor, but kitchen in 5th floor, access by stairs. I could t use the kitchen. My private room has 2 balconies which provided great views, fresh air, and light. The bed was comfortable. The very high ceilings made the room feel very spacious. Breakfast was available after 8 am, 6.50 Euros for Continental and 8.50 for huge breakfast. The location was a bit out of the way but Ubers were convenient and inexpensive. Staff was very helpful. Nice lobby with many comfortable chairs. ATM just put the front door and mini Mart across the street.

The location is great, with several restaurants around; close to Marques de Pombal which connects to Av.Liberdade. The breakfast is very simple, with little variety of fruits and breads. There is no bar to prepare drinks, the room service menu is horrible, I would never order something like that and the pool is not working. They should notify you before booking to avoid so many embarrassments for guests.

The have a gym and a pool in the hotel :) nice staff, good explanation about the hotel and breakfast. By the way breakfast was great, especially self-made pancakes - such a great idea!

Great hotel! My husband and I were booked here for 3 days on a group tour of Portugal, so we assumed it would be mediocre. We were very happily surprised: 1. The bed and pillow were so comfortable that we wanted to take them home - lol. The complimentary water in the room's little refrigerator was very appreciated. And the sweet cleaning lady did a great job on our room & bathroom everyday. 2. All the staff were very friendly, especially Ines at the front desk who helped us get a great taxi tour of Lisbon to places we were not able to see on our tour bus. 3. I had forgotten to pack some things I needed in my suitcase, so I asked Ines where to find a convenience store and she sent us to one that was only 3 minutes away:) 4. I had read other Tripadvisor reviews that said SANA Metropolitan Hotel was not located well with lots of noise from the airport -our hotel address was Rua Soeiro Pereira Gomes 2 Sete Rios, Lisbon and we never heard any airplane noise at all. 5. The included morning breakfast buffet was always full of many yummy choices. Unfortunately, the other hotels with our tour group were not as good as SANA Metropolitan - wish we could have had the same quality as SANA. Yes, we recommend this hotel and Ines at the front desk.

What a lovely hotel in a nice part of Lisbon. The Reception Staff that checked us in were so helpful and welcoming. The room was very spacious and clean. Complimentary water, biscuits and sweets left in our room on arrival. Sofia is a credit to this hotel. She accommodated us above and beyond. She knew we were there to celebrate my son’s birthday and watch the Portugal match versus Denmark. She sent Pastéis de Nata to our room. Such a lovely gesture. We had lunch at the hotel which was a buffet. As the mains are left on a hot plate it doesn’t taste the same. Most of the food was very chewy. We checked out dinner one night and it was €36 per person which is a lot of money for the quality of food provided. Very good transport links nearby. Really nice authentic bakery near the hotel. Not hard to get around the city. Thank you for your hospitality. Hopefully we will visit again soon.

Firstly I need to say that I have stayed at this hotel before, and the reasons I have gone back are multiple - the very kind, helpful and friendly staff who all seem to have excellent memories for previous clients, who attended to all I needed without any hesitation; cleanliness good in all areas, without exception; the large lounge bar provides comfortable seating and space enough to have meetings with visiting friends in private; meals are available in the bar without having to go to the large restaurant, and catered for my particular tastes and allergies; more than enough choice for breakfast in the restaurant, repeating again that I have certain food allergies and am a vegetarian; taxis available very quickly and at reasonable prices; near enough to the life of Lisbon without the noisy hubbub and also as a solo traveller, the very important feeling of safety! - A huge thank you to all at Sana Metropolitan!

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed my entire life. We had to leave to the airport very early in the morning and had no time for breakfast. The manager made sure we get our breakfast and sent it to our room with a very beautiful note. It truly reflects the hospitality of the great Portuguese people. Besides that this hotel is very clean, comfortable and has very efficient housekeeping. Front desk staffs were efficient and friendly. Easy access to city centre and near to the airport, university and Santa Maria hospital. There is a very nice and reasonably priced souvenir shop as well. Extremely friendly, helpful and thoughtful staffs. It was such a fantastic stay here and we feel so sad to leave this “home of ours”.

Greatly enjoyed my stay. In particular, staff was professional, well, trained & responsive. The property is located in tourist-central, which can be + an and a -. A couple of things: hotel has no parking. There is a lot a few blocks away, but it would help if the Hotel put directions & address on website. Ubers are easy to get, but you have to be prepared to get your bags out of the car quickly -there is no pull off My first night I was on 1st floor on the side of the hotel overlooking pink Street. It was a small room, but well appointed with pretty much everything you need (there are no USB so you need your charger/adapter). If you are a light sleeper (I sleep with a CPAP so sleeping is difficult for me under any circumstances) you definitely do not want a room on a low floor on that side. On Tuesday night arrival for 3 night stay, the vibration of music from below goes on past 6 AM. Although beds was comfortable, linens, nice, etc, I got little sleep. One set of friends had a room on 3rd floor and did not have same issue (plus it was much bigger for essentially the same $) I went to the front desk in the morning. They were exceedingly accommodating and moved me to a room on the fifth floor that is like an artist’s attic garrett (LOVED it) was perfect for me. Just had coffee from nice breakfast staff which was free, but make sure if you’re just having coffee they don’t charge it to your room. Overall, I was very happy

I spent 2 nights in Lisbon in June 2024 as the last part of a trip I took. The Lx Boutique Hotel is centrally located and pretty much you can walk anywhere in Lisbon from there and also right next to major transportation hub. on checking I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the river. The rooms were quite nice and clean with all modern comforts. The floor I was on was named Fado and my room had decorative wall paper with Fado instruments. Being a musician I appreciated that. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any hotel or sight seeing info I asked about. The only thing I would mention, the hotel is next to several party locations so it can be a bit lively late into the night. The doors and windows did a good job of blocking the noise out. I would recommend the Lx Boutique Hotel to others! Looking forward to staying again

Very good stay, modern and nicely decorated. Very close to public transport, metro, trams and buses across the road and walking distance to main areas. It is right next to Pink Street and there is noise when you are outside the hotel, but I had a room looking out over Pink Street and hardly heard anything. Easy to get to using the metro from the airport, one change and was at the hotel within 20 minutes for €1.85. The hotel does have pastel de natas early evening in the foyer which I thought was a very nice touch for guests. I didn’t try the restaurant attached but it was busy every night. Room was a very good size and had everything I needed for my stay. Would recommend a stay here for the closeness to public transport, easy of walking to most places.

The staff is friendly, rooms are clean and bigger than average, the breakfast could be better but it wasn’t bad, just not a lot of choices but we appreciated that it had fruit, yogurt, cereal, scrambled eggs, sweets, ham, cheese and coffee, sounds like a lot but other hotels usually have way more than this. No big deal though, the location is great and we’d stay here again any time!

Great vacation in Lisbon at Stay Hotels Chiado. Staff were really friendly and helpful on numerous occasions. They allowed us to store our bags while touring, gave great local advice on sites and ways to travel around Lisbon, put the football on the big screen in the lounge so we could watch the Inter Milan vs Barcelona match (awesome match!!). Sincerely, thanks to all the brilliant staff at Stay Hotels Chiado. We will return! To other visitors - location is great, easy to get to the Metro line and loads of historic sites and restaurants within walking distance. The Hotel is clean, quiet and reasonably priced (considering central location).

We had 2 rooms here. They were both clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The location was perfect. We were one block from the busy noise- and yet our building was quiet. It was easy to walk everywhere and we felt very safe in this area. (For reference, it was a 14 minute walk from the fort (Castelo de Sao Jorge), 5 minute walk to the Arch and Commerce Square, and easy to get to hop on/ hop off bus)

The hotel's location is the main asset. Few steps away from the metro and the main street leading to Placa de Comercio, surrounded by restaurants and all main attractions. The hotel in itself is nice and clean, and the room we stayed in was spacious, as was the bathroom.

The hotel is ideally located next to the metro station and right in the heart of Lisbon, near Praça do Comércio. Everything is easily accessible. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is generous, with both sweet and savory options (including pastéis de nata).

My third Lisbon visit and first time staying in this part of the city. This is a smaller and very clean hotel with a simple aesthetic that is centrally located and close to Avenida de Liberdade. I booked based on walkable location and the reviews, plus the overall value for the hotel category. I also had family staying nearby on the Avenida in a pricier hotel and so this hotel location was convenient for me to meet up with them. You can walk one direction on the hotel's street and the neighborhood gets more crowded and lively; and walk the other direction and it seems more local and quiet. Plenty of food choices are nearby within walking distance. My single bed was very comfortable!! I slept very well! While the windows in my single room did not open (as is characteristic of many hotels), there was an AC unit I used at times (I was there at the beginning of October). Bathroom space is tight, as is typical of smaller European hotels. Continental breakfast available downstairs including fresh coffee. There is also a water/soda vending machine and coffee machine. I believe there were recent updates while fortunately preserving the architectural integrity of the building. I noticed that some rooms have Juliet balconies which adds to the charm. A friendly and helpful staff/team. Professionally run (and I believe by the same family for many years). I always felt welcome! Glad I stayed here.

I loved the courteousness and willing to assist with recommendations and directions. I absolutely loved the fluidity of languages that staff and family gave us tenants. The kindness and warmth. The breakfast was such a nice addition every morning. Location is close to everything as well as public transportation. Sadiq and his brother and another young man working the night shift were all incredible advocates of you enjoying your stay. The room I stayed in was immaculate, warm, (and although the bed was small it worked for me) quiet. This charming establishment will always have a place in my heart. Thank you Sadiq and family for making my first vacation since covid as wonderful as it was.

My wife and I have been travelling to Portugal for over 12 years. Whenever we are in Lisbon we aim to stay at Hotel Portuense. Ok it doesn’t have 5-star rating, but then its rates are very reasonable for a hotel located in the centre of Lisbon. The hotel is very close to restaurants and places of interest (you can walk to the waterfront), rooms are clean, the bed is (very) comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Furthermore, the management and staff are very hospitable and helpful. It is always a pleasure to stay at Hotel Portuense.

I stayed for two nights in this property so that I could visit Lisbon before continuing my work trip. I knew that the location was convenient beforehand but it was even better that I expected since the street lead you towards a nice section of the city. The staff in the hotel were nice, the room was clean and the breakfast was above average. The room was small but comfortable anyway so it felt like a good deal for my money.

Everything was perfect, perfect location very safe and near to metro/ train, welcoming staff, and very very helpful if you need anything just ask them they are very helpful. Thr room was really clean, and breakfast also very good and fresh it has anything you need. In short this hotel diserves more stars. Whenever I come to Lisbon I will for sure stay here again and again.

Perfectly located less than 30mins gentle stroll from the waterfront, or a minute from the metro, this hotel served perfectly as a serene retreat from the bustle of the city. Fabulous breakfast, cosy bar (both internal and rooftop) and even a plunge pool. Terrific, friendly staff. Would recommend to both families and couples. We had our anniversary recently and the hotel staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate.

The location - really central, just off the Main Street, 5 minute walk to Placa do Comercio. Plenty of restaurants and mini markets nearby. The price per night was very competitive - excellent value for money. The bed was super comfy and the room facilities were excellent. The bathroom and shower were a decent size. The staff were very polite - receptionists, breakfast staff and cleaners. Breakfast was decent for the price - a lot of bread. The pastries were delicious! Overall I loved it here - would definitely recommend it for location, price and comfort.

Very central and convenient. Room was fine, nice hot water, balcony overlooking a pedestrian street--staff were helpful and pleasant.One major complaint was the slow wifi. If you plan on doing any type of remote work while staying there, recommend to seek other options. Otherwise it was fine. Two other minor complaints that are easily solvable: tp holder lacking in the bathroom, as were hooks for towels.

Excellent location, right in the centre of town in a pedestrianised area. Although there are bars and restaurants outside, there was little to no noise in the bedroom. The room itself was large, spacious and clean. There is a lift which works fine for one person, too small for any more than that. Definitely recommend, and would stay here again.

Like the hotel for the central localization, perfect service and especially for a view from balcony in room 905. Even room itself is very small it’s the only with such spectacular view. On the other hand, there is no pool, there are only 3 rooms with balcony, breakfast is still with a very limited selection but served thanks God at restaurant not in a basement like before.

With their price range, better amenities could really help. No swimming pool, no SPA which is disappointing.

If it was possible, this Sofitel exceed the experience we had at one in Greece not long ago. The greeting was the same as you get when visiting friends/family after not seeing them for a long time. Christina at the front desk spoke amazing English along w many other languages and was like the daughter we were visiting after awhile away. The whole staff was so accommodating and took time to answer any questions and even walked us to the train station to help us buy a pass to use the public transportation. The concierge, Piedro(sp) recommended an amazing restaurant close by and gave us countless recs on things to see and do. The hotel breakfast was everything you could possibly want, w an a la carte menu and buffet that was quite good. And the diner we had at the hotel was as good as any we’ve had at any restaurant anywhere, though the service was better w our waiter Leo, one of the most charming people we got to chat with. You have to try the fish stew, an amazing dish we are all still talking about. Whether it was just conversing with the various desk people or the other service ones who do it all, Diego(sp) or Andre(sp), the staff was terrific and gave you the sense that they truly cared and appreciated our businesss, a feeling not often provided any more. Even though you don’t spend a lot of time in a hotel when touring and exploring, when you are there, it’s a great feeling to have being so comfortable. This Sofitel chain knows how to do it all!

On 21.3.25 we were due to fly to Lisbon to sofitel hotel on the day due to the Heathrow London fire airport was closed off no flights could go out or come in and trip got cancelled We called booking. Com to explain what had happened and 3 attempts they called the hotel to cancel any cancellation fee they had no success with hotel and booking. Com asked me also to call hotel but the reservation team refused to talk or discuss situation and just said I need to talk to booking.com we will not discuss I found them so rude not sympathetic towards customer this was not my fault. I was a returning customer to this hotel. Booking. Com informed hotel is charging not interested I will not be returning back to this hotel I had other families that were going to book but they will not be recommended. I was so upset looking forward to coming my 1st vacation. They also ended up charging me on my credit card last year when they should have taken money from the travel agency account. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and communicated well in english. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean. The bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was large as well. The grounds were garden like and well maintained with a large pool. Great for families to enjoy with the kids. The property is secure and offers a large parking area. The breakfast was amazing, and the serving staff was attentive. We would definitely return, even if it meant going a bit out of our way.

We only stayed one night but it was nice. The location was great and we walked to restaurants and shops. The room was small but clean. The morning we were checking out, the elevator was broken but there was no sign on our floor so we ended up waiting for a long time. Then we had to carry down our luggages using the stairs which was not easy. There was a sign on the first floor saying the elevator was out of order though. 😂 The washroom was clean but whenever we turned on the fan, there was a strong unpleasant odor. Overall a nice hotel with very competitive price! Would recommend!

Happy I made the right choice and stayed here despite of ppl complaining about renovation and old furniture. Turns out, renovation is almost finished, so I got a lovely, albeit small, single room with new furniture and modern appliances. The staff is always there and ready to help. Breakfast is simple, but absolutely corresponds to my idea of a quick little grab before hitting the city. The location is perfect for literally any activity you have in mind. Wifi connection was also great. What more can you ask for?

On my arrival, I was welcomed by a very helpful young gentleman called Goncalo Fonseca. The room was lovely with complementary pastry, fruit platter & water. My room had great air conditioning & was cleaned every day by the great housekeepers. The hotel has a beautiful park at its doorstep & has loads of lovely high street designer shops nearby. Out of all my hotels, I was shocked by how beautiful the hotel was with it being so reasonably priced. Good value for money. Thank you, Hotel Avenida park.

The property is brand new close to the centre. Walkable to the bus stops and Metro (Parque). The only thing is the checking in process is so slow. I had to ask 3 times is everything okey? Are we done? Then after 30 minutes we are given the go signal. After a tiring flight we had to wait for 30 minutes for what? Considering there were 2 people at the time of check in it took this long to check in to check 2 passports?

The Hotel was located centrally in Lisbon. At the beginning of Avenida Liberdade. It was close to the Train station and all major sights. The rooms were a good size very comfortable with good beds, and great showers. I wish I had brought my bathing suit since they had an indoor pool. I think a quick dip in the pool at the beginning of the day would have been great. The breakfast was good and our rooms were cleaned promptly. There is everything you would need and expect for this level of hotel. If something was missing it was just that some hotels have that little extra personal touch that makes you feel special. Greeting you by name is something I always like about staying in a smaller hotel. I want to say a special thank you to Erica at the front desk. She was very pleasant abd helpful.

This has the feel of a boutique hotel, but it also has a pool and is in a fab location. I loved having windows to open (balcony room). Reception staff and breakfast staff were all super friendly and helpful. Having breakfast till 12.00 was great as was the 24hr gym and pool. I also loved having the coffee and little cakes/fruit/port/maderia in the lounge and available all day. It made activities much more flexible and the hotel very relaxing. I will definitely stay here again.

We looked at a number of hotels around Lisbon for our 3 nights away. We fancied one with a pool (even if it were only a small one), even though, as it happened, we didn't get around to using it. One key issue, as first timers to Lisbon, was location. As we walked around (and gosh, did we walk) we found ourselves passing each of the other hotels we'd looked at, and each time thought: We made the right choice. The hotel itself is lovely: Room 30 is a big room, two, tripled-glazed, windows over the main Avenue, 3 minutes walk to the Metro, 5 to Rossio, 2 to the Funicular. Breakfast is the traditional mix, but well put together with good ingredients, and there's coffee, port, and cakes available throughout the day if you want to graze. Ultimately, as a base to go and explore, we couldn't have found a better place. The staff were smiley and helpful, the room was lovely. If I could find a fault, I'd tell you to add credibility to this review, but it was spot on.

Absolutely loved it. I’m a huge researcher when it comes to hotels and this one checked all the boxes. My room was incredible, there’s a pool, staff were super lovely, room service is available 24/7 with decent prices, pastries, fruit and other snacks are free all afternoon in the lobby lounge for when you come back after a long day of sightseeing, there’s free port wine in your room when you arrive (that will last you a while), and most rooms have a cute little balcony with a view of the city! The location was also 10/10, being right in the middle of town and often on my way back I’d see a tourist attraction I didn’t know was so close to me, with one of the famous funiculars being right behind the hotel. The restaurant scene is also great, with a mid-price place I highly recommend called A Cozinha only a 5 minute walk away. If you’re stopping in Lisbon, you won’t regret giving this place a go!

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location for exploring Lisbon. It's a lovely boutique property right on a main avenue which is full of all the biggest designer brands. Our room was at the front overlooking the main road on the 1st floor but the soundproofing was excellent, we didn't hear the street noise at all. The décor throughout is so nice & I loved our room which was spacious, clean and elegant. Particularly love the Moulton Brown toiletries! Staff are welcoming, friendly & helpful & there are complimentary pastries, tea, coffee & port throughout the day in the lounge. Plus a decanter of port in our room! Breakfast was nice, fresh fruit, cold meats, pastries, breads, juices, cereals etc plus eggs & bacon. There is even a little pool tucked away in the basement which I had to myself for a relaxing dip. Honestly could not fault this property - highly recommend!

The Bairro Alto is the absolute BEST hotel in Lisbon, hands-down. In fact, I would say it is the best hotel in Portugal, and all of Europe, for that matter. Upon arriving, my family and I were treated like royalty. The attention that we received was personal, efficient, professional, while still being warm and inviting. Tatiana assisted with every single detail to make our stay comfortable—she exhibited the most impeccable form of hospitality I have ever experienced in any hotel. The 2 waiters named Francisco in the restaurant who worked at breakfast were incredible. Every single staff member, from the hard-working housekeeping team to the concierge to the purser made you feel as if you were the most important guest in the entire property. When I asked if there were eye pillows and the hotel realized they did not have them, someone sent away for one. That very evening upon returning to my room, a newly purchased eye mask was on my bed with a personalized, handwritten note. Apart from the top-quality service, the location of the hotel is perfect. The rooms are stunning—comfortable, quiet, extremely tasteful with the smallest details taken into account. Anytime we made a request, it was honored in a matter of minutes. If you are staying in Lisbon and you want to experience a little piece of heaven, look no further than this tremendous property. It will be the best money you ever spend on any hotel.

This is pretty much our ‘go to’ Hotel in Lisbon. A better combination of cool rooms, great location, outstanding staff, and wonderful service I have not seen in Lisbon. While not an inexpensive hotel by any stretch of the imagination, it’s also appropriately priced for the quality and level of service. Rooms are large for Europe, comfortable, and well appointed. The suits come with transfers to either the airport or cruise terminal, which is a nice bonus. We had a hotel transfer from the cruise terminal and the next day a transfer to the airport in the wee hours. Breakfast on arrival was delicious and keep in mind they could pack to go breakfast on departure if you leave early in the morning. Check-in was effortless. We arrived very early (darn cruise ships always seem to arrive in the morning ) so of course our room was not ready at that hour. We figured we just drop off our bags and wander around 4-5 hours till our room was ready. That said, after checking in we were escorted up to the restaurant to enjoy a little something to eat while our room was being prepared. They were waiting for us when we were done just to inform us that the room was ready and escorted us to it straight away. All in all, just one of the nicest hotels in Lisbon that I could not recommend more.

We booked this hotel for only one night but I could've stayed forever! The property is beautiful, the check in team we dealt with were fantastic, welcoming and made every effort to get us in early. Which they did. Our rooms were gorgeous, clean, well styled, amazing. And there is an onsite bakery/coffee which is incredible. Up a few stairs from the bakery is a wonderful lounge where you can enjoy your treat, bring a laptop and work or just hang out. We ate dinner at Bahr which is the restaurant on the 5th floor and let me tell you, it knocked us all for a loop. We lucked out and were seated directly in front of the kitchen and watched with expert choreography the team deliver the most modern, delicious takes on Portuguese food. The chicken piri piri nuggets, we could have eaten 100 of them. Yes we ordered several of them! Then as the evening was about to end the chef came by to check in, so classy. 24 hours at this hotel and I'm obsessed - thank you for a wonderful time in Lisbon, will be back for sure!!

Here are the awards I would give this hotel: - Greatest location - perfectly placed in the center of the action in Lisbon, but also on the cutest little square which is completely charming (musicians often play there at night and it’s dreamy) -Best rooftop bar - incredible views, wonderfully breezy -Best rooftop restaurant - one floor down from the bar, so a bigger space / different vibes, but identically impressive views -Perfect rooms - everything you need, nothing you don’t. Hits a pitch perfect blend of quirky personality in the decor with a deep understanding of luxury. Our room had a shower and also a free standing claw foot tub. From our windows you could peek outside and see down to the water, or up towards the square. No notes. -Solid staff - the staff is there if you need them, but unobtrusive if you don’t. The lobby is quiet and feels boutique-y, but the staff is extremely capable if called upon. Honestly I didn’t even like Lisbon all that much, but staying in this hotel improved my experience.

Bairro Alto Hotel is a truly fine hotel. The staff are highly trained, the facilities are beautifully designed and well maintained, and every detail reflects elegance and care. Its superb location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The breakfast is thoughtfully prepared—well balanced and of high quality. On a morning when we had to leave early, the hotel even provided us with a breakfast bag, which was a very considerate touch. The staff, including Alex and the concierge team, were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. One detail worth mentioning: we noticed a small issue in our room and reported it to the front desk. To our surprise, Tatiana, the Guest Relations Manager, personally reached out to us and kindly offered a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room. We truly appreciated this gesture—it showed how much the hotel values its guests and is committed to ensuring a perfect stay. This thoughtful response speaks volumes about the hotel’s service philosophy.

We enjoyed the location (close to the beach and pretty close to a big supermarket), the garden and pool was fantastic. Nice to have a kitchen to prepare food. Upon arrival we discovered a problem, talked to staff about it and they were quick to contact their boss and get it fixed. We were very satisfied with their response. The staff was very polite and helpful. They also helped us with finding surf instructors.

Really nice homely vibe, rooms had lockers available and large bathroom/toilets. Staff were great. Heaps of different living areas to chill, both outside and inside. Pullup bar out the back was a nice feature, as well as the pool, of course.

Perfect! Everything was perfect. First choice when we go to Lisbon again, which we will. Highly recommended! On our last day the electricity on the Iberian peninsula went off for around 10 hours, we had already checked out but were still storing our luggage there. The staff did everything they could to help us and when it became clear that our flight wasn't leaving we needed a room for the night. They were fully booked but told us about the closest hotel and then insisted that if we had not found accommodation before nightfall we would stay in their lobby, rather than being out in a pitchdark (remember, no electricity) city. Fortunately we found a room (in the hotel they pointed us to) but it was very comforting to have this Plan B in case we had not. In situations like this you find out what people are made of. Thank you so much guys, this is what humanity is like, we hope to see you again ❤️

The apartment was located close to many of the restaurants and night life of Lisbon. There are many places to eat within walking distance as are trams and busses, the stop is practically outside the front door of the apartment. Uber is very accessible if you need to use a taxi, though we were told that they are a little bit more expensive than taxi, we can't verify that was we didn't use either. One of the main train stations is with walking distance but is up and down hills, bare that in mind. The staff at the apartments were so very friendly and helpful with travel advice and seemed to know where every bus went! Despite the street noise and the temperature outside, the apartment was cool and quiet with comfortable beds and seating. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were excellent and there is an excellent small supermarket just a up the street.

My family (myself, my husband and our sixteen year old son) had a wonderful stay the Les Deux Mariettes! The one bedroom apartment gave everyone plenty of space to stretch out! My son occupied the sofa bed in the living room and it was nice to have privacy. The apartment was roomy, modern and very clean. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was quite spacious with plenty of storage. The high end appliances in the kitchen were a nice touch however we didn’t utilize them as Lisbon has so many amazing restaurants! The location of the apartment is very nice, across from assembly building. Very safe area. With in walking distance to many lovely restaurants, bars and shops! Be sure to pack comfortable shoes! Love Lisbon, can’t wait to come back and would definitely rebook Le Deux Mariettes! Obrigada!

The staff and stay were lovely. If they offer their high end driving service, don’t bother. It was advertised as driver in high end car who had a sign for pickup with water, wifi in vehicle. Our driver was in a regular car with no water and the cost was 3 times higher than an Uber. You’ve been warned. The room has all the amenities you need including welcome water and cookies. The bedding was comfortable, the towels are thin and could use work. The AC worked well. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. The micro and oven worked well. Grocery store up the street. The washer dryer combo is good but takes a lot of time. We stayed here for 3 nights. It is across the street from Parliament. Bring good shoes and get ready for a workout!

What a wonderful find! Perfect in every way. We were able to leave our bags safely while we enjoyed the city and were checked in by such a friendly member of staff. The apartment was clean, well equipped and the view of parliament was a total treat. The complimentary wine, water, biscuits etc was a nice touch. We were a group of single mother, 17 & 15 year old sons visiting friends. It was really reassuring to have 24hour security reception as we came and went on lots of different schedules (sight seeing, clubbing, eating out etc) Perfect location for reaching most of the city. Kitchen was well equipped and the local supermarket close and reasonably priced. 1 evening of Netflix and eating in was welcome after several busy days for me and my youngest son. We will definitely be back

An excellent hotel with a distinctive vibe. The hotel is very central. It is an easy 20 minute walk to the Praça do Comércio on the bank of the Tagus estuary. If you are minded you can take the Metro - Avenida station is only five minutes away. The Praça dos Restauradores on the way towards to the Tagus and is well named and you will find lots of restaurants at various price levels with the side streets and parallel streets often offering better value. For carnivores, there is an excellent choice just paces from the hotel. The hotel itself is excellent. The rooms are compact.. you won't get lost. Comfortable bed and air conditioning that does a good job. The bathroom is also compact but the shower is great. The only thing to consider is that it could be a bit difficult for those with poor mobility. Breakfast is good. A good selection of hot and cold food with good coffee. There is no capacity to order a freshly cooked meal but there is more than enough available to set you up for the day. They provide lovely pastel de nata. Staff are great.. they are ready to help and happy to do so. It's a hotel to put on a 'go back to' list.

We stayed here for a week and loved it. The room is not too large, but comfortable. The bed is huge and very nice to sleep on. Good selection of TV channels. There's even a Marshall Bluetooth speaker in the room. Everything you need is available except a mini bar, but we never use them anyway. The location is perfect: right next to the Avenida and about a 6 to 10 minute walk to Rossio. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Breakfast is excellent. The bar offers a nice selection of drinks for a very reasonable price. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant sadly, but if we visit Lisbon again, we'll definitely stay at the Maxime again!

The Maxime Hotel is a nice hotel in a great location, just steps away from the main boulevard in Lisbon and a few blocks away from the overly crowded and touristy areas down by the river. Our room was comfortable and the decor was unique in a good way. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the one day we had to be out early (breakfast starts at 8) we were able to arrange for a boxed breakfast to be ready for us. The thing that really stood out was the service, everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and quirky hotel. It’s interior is done up just like a theater. The lighting effects in hallways and lobbies are really cute. The room itself is clean and comfortable and the air conditioning works quite well, unlike other hotels I’ve stayed in. The buffet breakfast is very good. One can have a good English breakfast with eggs, bacon, mushrooms, beans, baked tomatoes, etc. and, of course, it also includes cereals, cheeses, pastries, fruits. If shopping is your thing, then you’re in the right location as Avenida is lined with high-end shops. Lastly, the front staff are quite friendly, polite and helpful.

This was an incredible hotel due to the fact that everyone working there went above and beyond.. From the front desk to everyone working in the one of a kind cabaret bar (great bartender and servers) to the cleaning staff they were beyond welcoming! The location was excellent as it was not in the middle of the tourist traffic. I also highly recommend eating in the restaurant. The breakfast was everything you could ask for and the dinners were as good as any top restaurant. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A lovely friendly greeting on arrival checking in was very quick. The room was very clean and tidy. The hotel is in a great location for the shops and the harbourfront the bar Area was very clean and friendly ordered room service which came within 10 minutes. Check out is it 12 but we had to leave early due to a flight The concierge ordered us a taxi which picked us up from the front of the hotel within five minutes of ordering. He loaded the cases into the car and open the door for us. Excellent service would definitely recommend this hotel We will definitely be using it again nothing was too much trouble

My husband and I stay at Olissippo Oriente for 2 nights before going to the Algarve and then one more night after, before flying back home. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The breakfast is great with good variety. The desk staff were friendly. Check in and out was flawless. The hotel is walking distance to the Oriente train station and also to the Vasco da Gama Shopping Center. It is also a walking distance from restaurantes by the river. The rooms as spacious. They have a espresso Delta machine. The bed was very comfortable. When planning another trip to Lisbon we will most likely stay at Olissippo again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Olissippo Hotel in Lisbon enjoying two beautiful days at this ideal location right next to the concert venue. Everything was nice, especially the room with concert venue and river views was excellent. Only the breakfast room could have been larger and the buffet could have been better and quicker restocked. Also, the valet at the door on the first day did not open the door for us nor did he even bring himself to smile or even say anything, like a OLA. NOTHING, that is not the person you want to put at the door to welcome your guests.

Great location, close to the Oriente train station, Vasco da Gama mall, lots of dining options (Parque das Nacoes), and the airport. The hotel staff were friendly despite being busy, and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The hotel also did a great job communicating with me before we stayed there, as they had some questions about our booking due to my having reserved two rooms. They got us a nice area at the end of a hallway that had a door to close off our two rooms, making it more like a suite. Sweet!

The checkin procedure was straight forward. We were even offered a cocktail while the paperwork was completed and Isabel explained the travel options from the hotel to get around Lisbon. Tram 28E. The cleck carried our bag to our room then showing us the inside procedures. Our suite was large with a seperate seating area. The bathroom had 2 basins, bath, separate shower and a toilet with screen. The restaurant staff were as friendly as checkin staff. The menu was designed by the chef daily by fresh produce available. The price had a margin between which you felt the meal was worth. Breakfast was served in the same area. A continental with hot scambled eggs bacon and tomatoes. The designer hotel has art and seating areas around the hotel. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel maybe placed outside of downtown however it has good transport links and worthy of a visit.

I went on a city break trip with my mother. This was the friendliest hotel either of us had stayed in. The staff were always welcoming and friendly. Helpful and fun. They were outstanding. It is a little outside the tourist area and that was very welcome, after a busy day to retreat to this quiet area. Locally there were good restaurants and activities such as a market. Transport connections were very good. We loved our stay. The only criticism was that we had a bath with a shower in it , and not a walk in shower. The bath was very good though after a hard days walking. The breakfasts were fab. Evening meal was not to our tastes.

My husband and I spent 10 days in March at the Hotel da Estrela in room 21, a spacious suite on the top floor with views of the river and the city. The hotel is in a charming old building with very clean modern facilities inside. The street is quiet and relatively close to the Rato metro stop and the Jardim da Estrela. There are plenty of places to eat in the area. The hotel breakfast buffet included meats, cheese, fruit, cereal, pastries, eggs, yogurt, among other things. We also ate dinner there on a couple of occasions and were not disappointed. The staff were congenial, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

The hotel is in a residential neighbourhood with public transport via the quaint old tram to downtown within a short walking distance. Don't be put off by the fact that the hotel isn't right in the city centre - it's actually a blessing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Thank you all the hotel staff for a pleasant stay, and Xavier very kindly spent over an hour booking me train tickets to Porto! Overall if you look to be out of all the confusion of the city centre I would high recommend the Hotel Estrela.

Property was well kept and definitely unique since it is in an old school. The rooms were some of the largest we’ve experienced across all of Europe and quite comfortable as well. I think what made this hotel truly exceed was the staff. Very responsive both via email prior to our stay and during to help provide recommendations and directions. Would highly recommend for families and couples.

It is true that this hotel is situated on a hill between two vibrant Lisbon neighbourhoods. After spending the day sight-seeing, the walk home was a bit tiring. That said, at night, I climbed the rest of the hill to a marvellous group of bars and restaurants which meant a downhill walk before I went to sleep. I had a very comfortable room with a great bathroom (including a bidet). The air conditioning worked well and there were blackout shutters which could be deployed to make sure the sun did not wake me too early in the morning. Rather than offer a breakfast buffet, you choose the breakfast items you want and they are cooked to order for you! I enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice and a croissant with my scrambled eggs and bacon. Staff at the check-in desk helped answer many of my sightseeing questions. Be prepared that Lisbon is not exactly a walking city - you will need to use public transportation to reach all the sights you will want to see. Still, this hotel is close to a Metro stop (Avenida) and a local train station (Rossio). Within a day, I came to realize I had made a great choice of a location to base my weeklong stay in Lisbon! The only downside is that there is a nearby building which is being renovated. On workdays, construction began promptly at 8:00 am and I could hear them through the blackout shutters. Still, that was about when I wanted to start my day to maximize my sightseeing time. It wasn't much of a hardship and not the hotel's fault!

Pleased with our experiences at this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was ideal. Breakfast was great and we loved the pot of tea and cake left in our room everyday. Wifi was free and fast. Air conditioning worked well. Although our room was a little small and dated, it was very clean and comfortable. For only $150 Canadian dollars a night, it exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much to the staff for taking care of us! Found a Portuguese family run restaurant (10 minute walk away) that was probably our best food experience while in Lisbon...the father worked the bar and served food with his son, mother was in kitchen and daughter made the desserts. The hotel is in a great location in the Bairro Alto with lots of restaurants nearby as well as a terrace with wonderful views within a couple of minutes walking distance. We had a suite as we stayed with our two children which was a good size; the suite was well kept and clean and importantly, had air conditioning. Breakfast was lovely ( a la carte, but you could order how much you wanted). The only small downside was that the road at the front at peak hours appears to be used as a shortcut by local drivers, so was very busy at times.

Hotel Principe Real on Alegria was welcoming and perfect for my trip. My room was spacious, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with good shower/bath. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was good - you order from a menu but as the hours are 7am - noon - it makes sense they dont do buffet style except for the Pastel de Nates - those little custard tarts! The hotel is on a hill..but i soon got used to running up and down and i was literally 7 mins from Avenida de Liberdade - and going up hill v close to botanical gardens. I would definately stay there again.
