Awesome location, very secluded. We had half board, I do recommend booking half board both for the great food and for not very many restaurants close. We also had a swim up room which we were very happy with! Both the pool and the sea in the same view was dreamy. The beach was great for snorkeling!

We arrived at Split airport and even though the minbus transfer was rather long, the views were incredible. Hotel is in the sleepy town of Igrane, which is south of the more lively Makarska. Hotel was superb. We stayed in a quiet bungalow type of accommodation at the end of the complex (above the quiet area of the infinity pool, which we preferred more than the main pool). Huge selection of food at breakfast and dinner, which we couldn’t fault. Water dispenser was available at breakfast but not with dinner, so had to pay for bottled water. This was only downside and as a non alcohol drinker, think it should have been made available each meal time. Really friendly & helpful staff and a great Tui rep, who recommended a great boat trip to Brac island (this place was beautiful)! We hired a car for a couple of days and drove to Dubrovnik. Long drive but again, stunning views and the old town of Dubrovnik and the GofT tour is a must. Will definitely return to Croatia as we’d love to explore Split and the region north of the county.

Not sure even how to begin - it was the first time staying at an Adult Only facility and I will never book a regular hotel again! But t was exactly what we were looking for - relax and silence! The location is great, beach is just few steps away from the building entrance, the hotel pools are a great option but the best part was the infinity pool from our room! The breakfast and dinner were also very good - great deal of variety + a gorgeous view while eating. Probably the best part was the staff - most welcoming people and willing to make your stay perfect! Special thanks to Marin and the bosniac guy at the beach! All in all it was a great experience and will definitely return! P.S. please take good care of Bobi the hotel cat (manager) 😂

Stayed four nights and loved every minute. It's a beautiful setting with a great beach area and a choice of an infinity pool and a regular pool. Igrane is a quiet little town, but there are several restaurants on the town promenade right around the corner. Breakfast options were plentiful, with seating looking out onto the sea. Our visit was made very special by the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Special kudos to Ivana, Greta and Jelena up front and Ivan and Claudio at the Culanarium restaurant on premises. Please don't hesitate to book this hotel. You will not regret it. Make sure you say hi to the up front ladies for us!

Beautiful, modern hotel, location by the sea. Clean and comfortable room, very large balcony with amazing sea view. The food was varied and tasty. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. Two swimming pools, very clean, sun loungers in abundance. It was also possible to find sunbeds in a quiet place further from the pool. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel, lots of trees, views of nearby islands.

Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen in diesem Hotel verbracht und waren rundum begeistert. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem ruhigen Ort für uns zwei und dennoch die Möglichkeit unter Menschen zu sein. Das Zimmer war etwas klein aber dennoch sehr schön! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direkten Pool was sich tatsächlich als sehr wertvoll herausgestellt hat denn hier kann man sich gut zurückziehen. Zum Arbeiten sollte man nicht kommen da das Wlan wirklich schlecht ist. Zum Entspannen 👍 TOP! Das gesamte Personal war sehr, sehr freundlich und das Essen war auch gut. Die Poolanlage könnte tatsächlich etwas liebevoller gestaltet sein aber der Rest ist wirklich schön! Danke für die tollen Flitterwochen. Ps. Unser Zimmer war zum Empfang wirklich liebevoll mit Rosenblüten, Handtuch-Schwänen und verschiedenen Desserts geschmückt. Das war wirklich toll - DANKE.

We had great views from our room. Didn't use the beach because the pebble surface but found a very nice infinity pool. Weather great almost too hot! Staff very friendly and efficient. Very clean hotel. Plenty of good musical entertainment. Room slightly on the small side. Only slight weakness. There was plenty of choice with the food but I didn't think that the quality was great. Also too many repeats, especially on starters. Overall though, a very enjoyable holiday.

The location is extraordinary and the staff is more than friendly, especially Petra and Marin at reception are very special. All facilities such as bar, gym, pool are excellent and the place maintains a very familiar atmosphere. The food is very good and the service staff do their umtmost to make their guests happy. All in all a wonderful experience.

We loved the staff, the views from our room/dining area/pool area. It was lovely being in an adult only place, and was peaceful.

The house is very well equipped and we lacked nothing during our stay. For active people, basic exercise equipment and a jacuzzi. The photos on booking.com do not fully reflect everything you can find during your stay and the first impression is wow!!! Very good location also for those arriving with a dog. You can find a lot of places for morning and evening walks.

A fantastic facility, everything you need to function on site, a lot of space at your disposal, a large swimming pool, a jacuzzi with hot water. The facility is beautifully located with amazing views. The owner is nice, friendly and communicative. It was nice to hear the history of this place and the family. Greetings from Poland ;)

The accommodation is a little treasure located above Makarska in a small village called Makar. The photos cannot convey the ambience and views to the mountain and the sea. You have to experience that. Once up there, you don't want to be elsewhere. Driving up there is not for the faint-hearted though, especially for people from plains, like we. Our host, Zeljko, is a very kind and entertaining man. He told us several stories about the villa, the neighbourhood, local food, drinks and people. A very relaxing, and joyful week we spent there. Looking forward to going back.

Just WOW! The villa is absolutely amazing with wonderful views from both the pool and the balconies. The villa is spotless with amazing furnishings and has everything you could possible imagine. Branko is an amazing host, who welcomed us at the villa and took a couple of our group for a tour of where the restaurants and supermarkets were. He even waited and had a coffee whilst we stocked up for the villa. Branko organised the transfers from the airport and gave us recommendations on restaurants to suit our group of 8. He also provided us with a local taxi number so we could arrange directly when we did day trips. Highly recommend the sunset tour to Brac island and the inflatable waterpark was such fun. Branko thanks for making our trip so special, your personal touch shows what a truly amazing host you are and the pride you take in your work.

Branko was the most wonderful host, hospitality was exceptional, just amazing! The villa is just beautiful. Everything was more than perfect, including Branko’s helpful tips and recommendations with local transport, restaurant (best local authentic - non touristy places to dine), boat hire (we took a private boat from Makarska - Brac - Hvar) and it was one of the highlights of our visit, just magical and highly recommended. The Villa is more than well equipped with pantry staples, toiletries, laundry detergents, welcome food items - milk, beer, fruit, sweet biscuits. The bedding, linen, towels are luxe and so comfortable. Just awesome We can’t wait to return again sometime in the future. Superb view from almost every room. Very well-equiped villa, plenty of towels available, kitchen had enough utensils for cooking everyday, lovely dining table for breakfast, lunch and diner with a view. Sitting in the jacuzzi and having a view over the Adriatic sea was very pleasant. The kids were very fond of the gym, which has good quality equipment. We mainly used the rowing machine. The roller shutters throughout the house, allow you to go for your preferred pitch of dark. We absolutely loved the spacious terrace and there was plenty of terrace furniture available to seat everybody or to lie down next to the pool.

We had the most perfect holiday. Tonci was amazing, the property beautiful and the view even better than expected! Would definitely recommend!

Had a wonderful stay, owner kindly picked us up from bus station and the friendly family live above. Well equipped room, plenty of towels, in a quiet residential area a few mins from the church square up a hill - hill no problem if you've no difficulties walking, only a few mins. Supermarket 2 mins away. Shops, bars etc and bus station 5 to 7 mins walk. Can easily walk to beach area too but we loved the old town and harbour area best, which our room was closest to. We loved makarska it's got everything we wanted and much preferred it to split. If we return we'd stay here again. Great value.

Our stay at the holiday apartment was pleasant. The interior was comfortable and functional, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and town center, served as a good base for exploring the area.

Best place to stay in Makarska. The owners are so nice, rooms clean and comfy. Amazing view and just a walk to city center and to the beach. Highly recommended!

Everything is great. The kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable mattresses. Quiet area. Friendly owner. Good wifi. Close to the center and the market.

Our summer dreams came to life in Brela. We found an enchanting old villa, tastefully decorated by the owner Eli and her lovely family. Spotless and charming rooms, a cosy patio with summer kitchen, a private pool with a beautiful sea view. We found everything and more we could ask for. We loved every bit of our stay and really appreciated all the details one might take for granted - a fully equipped kitchen, two spacious bathrooms with everything one needs, and above all blooming flowers in every corner of the house. We had a few things that needed sorted on first day - more wine glasses, remotes that did not work etc, but the host did rectify these by the first evening. Parking for two cars, 8 minute drive into Podgora - unlikely you would try the 40min walk.

A great place with jaccuzi and swimming pool. Great terrace with all the space you need and view over the sea. More than enough parking space. One of the bedrooms even had its own kitchen. Not really necessary because the kitchen was well furnished.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Noa. The view from the villa is stunning and you have all you need for a great holiday. Our host was super helpful and easy to reach anytime. We would love to come again sometime to enjoy this beautiful villa one more time!

It was very spacious and clean with modern bathrooms and a fantastic outdoor area. We were a group of 6 adults and two older teenagers and it accommodated us very comfortably.

We really enjoyed the stay! We were very grateful for the aircondition in the bedrooms and the apartments. The pool was the perfect size, and necessary in the heat. We were also happy for the grocery stores nearby, and that the walk to the city was short! Thank you so much for having us🙂

Host is extremely helpful and met us by the door when we arrived and went through the property and gave us valuable tips about the local area. The property is very comfortable and clean. Very well maintained. The host even stopped by with a cake for the birthday of one of us. The property is as close to Nugal beach as it seems possible which is better than the city beach. Walk to downtown is about 10 minutes. There is a good grocery store right by the property. All in all would easily book Villa Natasha again, very happy.

The 3 villa's are clean and new,the swimming pool is the best for children. The owner welcome us with cold drinks and local pasteries of Split. The care taker is nice person,she did everything to accomodate us.The booking agent communicate with us good thru watsapp. Excellent service. We had a very good stay. Thank you Villa Poquito.

Perfect for us who were three families. We each had separate living spaces but could share cooking, playing in the pool and hanging out in the warm evenings. It is quite far away from anything, i.e. shopping, beaches, etc., but that also means you get far away from the crowds.

Villa Poquito is truly superb! Our family loved it here. The amenities, huge pool, spaciousness, etc. We will definitely be back for a longer stay once we can, hopefully for 2 weeks. Thanks so much.

We were looking for a quiet place close, not to far from the see and in the mountains and Villa Sagosde has that. Nice pool to get some chill and a tavern that serves other requirements. The host was wonderful, helpful and willing to support with any requests. Luciana big thank You for your hospitality. We are definitely looking forward to get back again.

We were 8 people, 2 families, with kids. It was just perfect. The location is not too close to the main road, but it's a very quiet area but not isolated. You won't risk bothering others with music, noise, etc. Great pool and tavern, fully equipped with anything you might need. Very good with young kids as well as the property is wholly fenced. Several common spaces for enjoying staying with your large group but also several private spaces if you want more privacy. The host is simply great, Great holiday!

We were there in 3 families. Apartments, swimming pool, veranda, minigolf, darts, grill, coffee, wines, service at the highest level. Location is great! 15min to the Sea. Baska Voda, Makarska, Omis (30min). Luciana is a wonderfull person! She take care of us in many aspects. We had a wonderful holiadys there (10 days in total). 100% we recommend Villa Sagosde and definately we will back there in the future one more time! Very nice accommodation in an exceptional and very quiet location. The apartments are spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. The poolside taverna is great and where we spent most of our time. The view of Biokovo is just amazing. You are on the beach within 15 minutes by car including parking. The nearest shop and restaurant is within 2 km. Luciana is very pleasant and fulfilled all our wishes.

We all had a wonderful time with great weather. The beach, the sea and the villa are just awesome. Especially the pool with the tavern were great to relax and party.

Firstly I would like to say big thanks to the hosts, they made us feel like stars. When we arrived they cooked us an amazing dinner. Then later they surprised us with home-made cheese and wine. One of the best wine I have ever tasted. To be honest everything was perfect! Only villa in that area so you have all the privacy on that mountain area. Complete silence when we enjoyed sunsets. Villa itself is brand new I would say and equipped with everything you need. Obviously pool was the star end kids lived there :D Every night we played table soccer, pool and ping pong. What else do you need? I could write so much but I can't find the words. All the amazing places, beaches etc were away only 20-30 minutes by car. Once again BIG thank you to Antonela (our host) making our holiday amazing! 11/10

Massive thanks to the wonderful family that hosted us, they greeted us with a traditional dish for us all to enjoy, and even brought us crepes a couple of days later.. it’s a quiet serene location an hour or so from Split - perfect for a group holiday or some peace and quiet away from this hectic world! The beaches are lovely, with small pebbles, but it's a bit challenging to find parking if you arrive after 9 AM.

Hosts greeted us on arrival. The views are amazing and the Villa is well laid out and comfortable, lots of room.

This is a fully equipped apartment with all conveniences, even with beach towels. The room is big and comfortable, with good design and fairly new furniture. Overall, very suitable for long-term stays. The pool is being cleaned regularly. The parking slots have always been available. There’s also a cute fat neighbour cat visiting the pool area from time to time.

After arriving at the place, it turned out that during the reservation of two apartments from one account by the booking application, there was an error, but with the good will of the owner, the problem was successfully solved. The apartments are modern, cleaned daily and towels are changed. the swimming pool and the entire relaxation area are also cleaned daily. free parking is very close to the apartment. we felt very comfortable during our stay. Walking down the stairs to the promenade is only a few minutes, there are two bakeries, a very good restaurant, shops, beach, bar etc. We were sad to leave Baska Voda. We want to go back there soon. I highly recommend.

The apartment we stayed in was great! The location was fine, very close to the beach and bars, 5 minutes from the city centre on foot. The flat was very clean and convenient with a beautiful side view on the mountains and the sea. The temperature in the flat could be regulated in few minutes with a conditioner, the mattresses were comfortable. Another point that I want to highlight is the level of a high standard of the Fontevita Apartments. Everything is made with good quality starting from the accurate tile layout in the bathroom and finishing with the comfortable lounges in the pool area. Additional thanks to the host, who was always very easy to reach if anything was needed.

For dinner we had five different meal courses - soup, cold appetizer, salad, warm appetizer, main dish and dessert/fruits! During 4 nights stay none options a la cart did repeat and for dinner there were alwalys for warm appetizer 2 options (vege/fish or meat) and for main dish there were realy delicious 4 or 5 options you could choose. All staff really nice and friendly. Since the weather was nice we didnt use pool but pool area looked really nice and clean. Tip: hotel offers parking space for 10€/night (on site if available or 200m walk uphills which is secured but not a single shade to hide from sun). But if you don't mind walking, just 200m after that second parking is parking partly in shades for only approx 5€/day

Superb room and very clean. Good TV if staying at the hotel is preferred. The staff were very helpful and understanding. Location was amazing. Short distance to everything. Good breakfast Pool was nice, indoors, but could open up the roof for sun. Always space at the pool and the sun deck was empty when we stayed there. Really nice view from the sun deck.

First of all, a good price-service ratio, we took the offer with dinner. When you enter the hotel, you will be greeted by the smiling face of the pleasant staff, in our case the beautiful Hanja, who is there for you whatever you need throughout your stay. As for the food, the breakfast was fantastic on a buffet basis, but you also get a menu from which you can choose to have eggs, pancakes or waffles made for you. When we talk about dinner, every morning with breakfast you get a menu offer from which you can choose which appetizer and main course you want to eat for dinner, the offer is varied and the food very tasty, I highly recommend choosing this option. The smiling faces of the staff serve you all the time, and I especially want to thank Mr. Anta for his hospitality. As for the location of the hotel, it was excellent for us, just a few minutes' walk to the center, and the best thing is that the beach is 3 minutes away from the hotel and that part is relieved from too much crowd, the beach has shade and there is a great cafe with sunbeds nearby. The hotel has a Spa which is excellent and a swimming pool which is opened but has a movable roof so it can also be closed. The room was clean and we even had Netflix on the TV. All in all, we liked the hotel and we plan to come again nex time.

I was absolutely blown away by my 5-night stay at Boutique Hotel Noemia, so much so that it is among my top 3 favorite hotels ever. Situated in the heart of the city center, it offered the convenience of close proximity to a fantastic beach, making it a prime location. Upon entering my room, I was impressed by the modern design, pleasant size, and numerous amenities, although a bit more drying space would have been appreciated. Dining at the hotel restaurant was a culinary delight, with the combination of a Swedish table and a choice of freshly prepared dishes creating an engaging and delightful dining experience. The entire hotel staff, especially Ante from the restaurant (shout out to him from his namesake Ante!), was exceptional in their friendliness, helpfulness, and willingness to assist with things like booking a fantastic trip to Biokovo Skywalk. The pool area provided a serene escape for relaxation, and the wellness facilities, including both Finnish and Turkish saunas, added an extra touch of luxury to the stay. The concept of having some of the wellness included in the price was a nice bonus, although the addition of some refreshments, such as lemon-infused water, would have been a nice touch.

The hotel is excellent, and the staff is beyond amazing. The staff is friendly and forthcoming. From the reception, dining area, pool and cleaning the service has been exceptional.

Everything! This hotel is very modern but cozy at the same time. The location is a 15 minutes walk from the old town, but that comes with peace and quite. Rooms are squeeky clean, very well equipped and I very much appreciate the small details such as great quality personal care items in the bathroom, sweets on the table, etc. The pool on the roof is amazing, water temperature was perfect even on November 1st, the view is superb, and they also serve great cocktails in the pool bar. We couldn't wait for the breakfast time - everything we tried was fresh and super tasty. I also haven't met a nicer staff than in this hotel for a long time, helpful and very professional.

What an amazing hotel, in a fabulous location! Lovely big comfortable rooms, with l'occitane products in the bathroom. Room cleaned daily, with fresh towels. Gorgeous Pool, with the best views - Towels also for use at the pool. Breakfast each morning was the best, fresh & plenty to choose from. Really relaxed vibe in the Hotel with attentive staff.

I loved everything. Room was clean, very nice and big, beds were super comfy, bathroom was spacious. The breakfast had a great variety of options to start a day, swimming pool was nice and cozy, the pool bar was working - what more do you need ;) Parking in garage is great for the hot weather.

Everything in the hotel was great (pool, pool bar, breakfasts, room ammenities). The reception staff were polite and helpful and went an extra step to accomodate our needs (bike storage).

This modern boutique hotel exceeded our expectations and is more akin to 5-star hotel. It is within a 5 – 10-minute walk to the sea and lovely walkway promenade that leads to many restaurants, bars, shops etc. Our room was spacious, modern, extremely clean and comfortable with a safe and stocked mini bar, whilst the bathroom was nicely styled, also spacious with a rain shower and L’Occitane products. Nice touches such as a welcome note in our room and a small gift upon departure added to our stay. The hotel has a wonderful roof top pool with picturesque views of the sea and surrounding mountains, along with a bar facility. Additionally, there is a spa area (sauna and jacuzzi) where one can make a reservation and have complete privacy. Breakfast deserves a special mention, as it was superb with a large variety and selection of fresh food (hot and cold) on offer every morning. All staff were polite and friendly, with reception personnel being extremely helpful and courteous on all occasions. Finally, free parking provided several options either right next to the hotel (including the option of undercover parking) or parking in a car park at the rear of the hotel approximately 20 – 30 metres away which proved extremely convenient.

Great beach apartment! Very nice, big and comfortable apartment with two bedrooms. One of the staff members, Mario, actually brought us some fresh coconuts in the morning...it doesn't get much better than that!

Jeg kjente til hotellet fra før og hadde forventet en av leiligheten med glassveranda når det stod at den skulle ha utsikt. Så dersom du vil nyte vakre Makarska og havet må du unngå leilighet 201. Om du ikke er opptatt av utsikt er dette en veldig pen leilighet.

Uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt und es gab keine Diskussion mit mir von niemanden im Hotel, das ist noch der Gast ist König Mentalität, extra Mega toll. Pool ist klein aber ausreichend für Bahnen zum schwimmen und für die Kinder um den Salz im Meer ab und zu entfliehen;-) Liegen und Sonnenschirme sind Kostenlos vom Hotel zur Verfügung, man muss aber um 6:45Uhr bei der Ausgabe sein um welche zu erhalten. Bis zum Strand sind es ca. 10m und müssen selber getragen werden. Restaurant im Hotel ist eine Gourmetküche und absolut empfehlenswer, sauber lecker und Preise sind ok für das was in der Stadt geboten wird! Kein vergleich, jederzeit das Restaurant im Hotel zu bevorzugen. Strand sauber und nicht überfüllt. Livemusik abends im Restaurant, toll. Fahrradverleih unkompliziert. Die Preise für die Qualität die man bekommt im Hotel sind in Ordnung für das was ausserhalb geboten wird. Wir waren vom 11.08.24 bis 18.08.24 im Hotel. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder. Vielen dank für den tollen Urlaub im Hotel Tamaris an die Mitarbeiter die einem das ermöglicht haben und jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen haben.

We were on the 5th floor with a sea view and it was beyond what we expected! The balcony and view were amazing, the apartment was spacious and modern, all windows had automatic shutters to block out light making it easy to sleep. The balcony had a rack to dry your bathing suits and towels which was great. The swimming pool was perfect for the kids and the beach was right in front of the hotel (the water is stunning, warm and clean!!). The staff was amazing and so kind for check in and check out. Even helped me call our car rental company when I had issues calling from my own phone. There were tons of little shops and restaurants on the path by the beach short walking distance. Definitely recommend the hotel and would stay here again!

This was our 3rd time in Tučepi and first time in this hotel. We absolutely loved it: Its situated at the end of the main walkway which I think its great because its less transited so you get more privacy and less people, rooms are super comfortable, extremely clean and staff is super friendly. Yes pool is small but who needs one when you are right on the beautiful adriatic sea? Breakfast was one of the best I had with endless options. If I had to share something to improve on is the timing of how dishes come out during dinner. Took a bit longer than what we would have liked but the food itself was amazing. Greatly recommend it!

Perfect location. At the end/begin of the boardwalk what means quiet in the night and at the same time just a few meters from bars and restaurants. And the best: you can almost jump from hotel pool direct to the see. The restaurant in the hotel offers really delicious meals (also menu and portions for kiddies)

We spent just one night but I wish it was more. Front desk staff is amazing, super friendly and help us a lot. Big thank to Silva! Rooms are newly renovated with nice view and very comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Swimming pool is a bit small but fitted our needs. Great stay !

We were very impressed with this beautiful and near new hotel. It is modern and cozy at the same time. Breakfast was fantastic, you can even order omelets or fried eggs to be prepared at the moment. Our room was a mini suite, with a big balcony with pool view. The room was very bright, the bed super comfortable. The bathroom very nice. Staff was very friendly and nice, too. We highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to go to the beach or in between cities, it is about 2 hours and a half from Old Town Dubrovnik.

The hotel is just off the road down to Biloševac beach, and just a short walk away from it. The surrounding area has numerous restaurants and small shops along the promenade. There are large stretches of beach that are great to swim at. Hotel Antonio itself felt very modern and comfortable. Our room was spacious and comfortable, air-conditioned and had a view of the ocean. The included breakfast was excellent. While we didn't make use of it, there is also a pool and a gym.

We had a very nice vacation here. It is not near the beach, but the distance is short. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The room facilities were new and in perfect shape. The pool was a surprise because we didn't know they had one.

I really liked the breakfast. It was a smaller breakfast but entailed what’s most important including omelettes. Small but very nice pool, sufficient for our 11 year old boy. Very friendly staff. A nice room with sea side view and mountain view.

Light airy imaginative design in boat house style, interior of fresh colours all blending nicely with large pictures of a nautical theme in the rooms, spacious bathrooms with bath showers and bidet, glass doors in bathroom so not much privacy in the loo! Beds and pillows comfy. Balconies at back a good size but offer no privacy as they almost face on to each other so everyone is peering at you. Also they are close to the pool so all very exposed. rooms at front of hotel have fabulous views but their balconies at Juliet style so no room to sit. Nice clean pool, quite small though next to a small beach so great. NO SHOWERS at pool so that was very surprising! Good beauty parlour, Parking good, its safe and close to hotel entrance. All areas of the hotel are spotless. It also smells really lovely when you walk in! Staff are all very courteous and helpful. Sometimes there was a shortage of people on reception, this is was not the fault of the staff but rather there appeared to be insufficent people on duty. Perhaps they could increase the pool and sun area and reduce the outdoor dining areas which were very large, Lifts are frequent and spotless. No noise or disturbances. I would certainly recommend this hotel!

A lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location for exploring Makarska. Located right on marina with easy walking to the cafes and bars on the front. Also a quick 5 minutes to the stunning old town with amazing restaurants and shops. Walk along the front and keep following the coastal path to the beach again with cafes, shops and a little train to take you to the end. The hotel is spotless and the staff are polite and attentive and cannot so enough for you. Dragana the manager arranged our transfers prior to arrival, wine for the room as visiting for a special occasion ans breakfast boxes as we had an early flight. The pool is small but that’s the o again spotless. The breakfast so much choice and will make your choice or eggs or an omelette! Drinks reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return to the beautiful hotel and town.

This hotel is in the perfect location. At the end of the Makarska boardwalk and is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. There is also a long walking trail that begins behind the hotel that has magical views of the Adriatic. The hotel is newly renovated and our room was beautiful. We didnt get the chance to take advantage of the pool but lots of people seemed to enjoy it. The view from the hotel is beautiful day and night. The reception staff were very pleasant to deal with when we had an issue. They accommodated us quickly. The breakfast was good but we almost always find options we like when it's buffet style. Bring water shoes!! The beach is just beside the hotel and its pebbles, not sand. If you dont have those shoes, they sell them near the hotel for approx 12 euros.

What a tale of two half’s Makarska is! Let’s put it this way - this hotel is in the right half! Wonderful views of the mountains and marina - truly atmospheric setting . A lovely small beach literally next door and a quieter location for town. The lovely old town nearby. The hotel itself is spotless, rooms (well ours 202 was) spacious with good air con. Boutique style, some lovely interior touches with a lovely small pool area. Staff are very polite and efficient. Breakfast plentiful - just a little dull after a week (the coffee machine didn’t work) - the outside dining area is great for breakfast too with super views. On the whole though a great place to stay. No real issues at all. Makarska though has a Benidorm style strip on the other side of town - where the hotel is sited you’d never guess thankfully!

Returned home this week after a 10 night stay. The hotel is ideally situated for numerous local restaurants and a leisurely walk into the Town Centre. The room was ideal with everything we needed whilst there. No tea or coffee facilities but you can loan a kettle from reception at no extra charge. Wi Fi is excellent throughout the hotel. The staff are all extremely helpful and a big shout out to the staff at breakfast who are excellent. Really good choice at breakfast and if omelette is your thing they are made to order. The pool area is small but we always managed to get a sunbed. The outside area is great to sit with a beer or two and watch the sunset. 🍻🍻🥂🥂 We would have no hesitation in returning based on the location, professionalism of all the staff and cleanliness of the hotel.

I have stayed in most of the hotels in Makarska over the years, and this is my new favorite! First of all, location-wise, this is the best you can get in Makarska. It is just 5 meters (!!) from the beach, and it is right in the middle of Makarska. The historic town and harbour is a 5 minute walk to the left. And to the right you have 3 or 4 kilometers of beach bars and restaurants. Just perfect! Second of all, (and this is most inportant) you have the comfort of your own home, as it is a fully equiped and comfy 1-bedroom appartment. All the space you need. When you enter the large balcony, you will have a breathtaking view of sea (if you book the right room ofcourse). The room is cleaned very good, every day, and they even did the dishes! What more could you ask for? Well, they also have these adorable sweathearts at the reception, who are always smiling and eager to help you and greet you. Thank you ladies! For parking, I recommend to reserve a parking spot at the front of the hotel. You pay for it, but parking space in Makarska is scarse and I am too lazy to walk far with my suitcases. Upon arrival they even offered me to help unload the car and park my car for me. Ofcourse I did that myself, but this is really 5 star service isn't it? Where do you get such service these day's? Oh, and you can also use a small breakfast buffet in a restaurant in the building. Included in the price

We are a family of 14 ages 8 to 78 who stayed for three nights of our 11 day Croatian vacation. Makarska is a fun, bustling beach town, and Central Beach 9 is at the heart of it. The hotel staff are welcoming, professional, and very accommodating. The rooms are big, bright, comfortable and well maintained. We had four rooms and each had private bath and kitchenette. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff did a fantastic job. There are a multitude of restaurants and bars right outside the hotel door that accommodate every taste and diet. Due to it's proximity to the promenade, there is so much to see and do from this property. We enjoyed time lounging on the beach, shopping and playing on the massive blow-up play-place. We took a full day boat excursion to the islands of Hvar and Brac and enjoyed every minute. We hiked a portion of the Biokovo Mountain trail and will always remember the amazing views (not for inexperienced hikers, and bring plenty of water!). If you're looking for fun and adventure, this is definitely the ideal hotel to enjoy it from. I would highly recommend Central Beach 9 for those planning a trip to Makarska.

Just finished our stay here and must say everything was excellent. We had 1 apartment and a 2 bed room with the seaview. Everything was clean, room service did everything everyday even all glass or cups. Waiters at restaurant were attentive, everytime we were eating there, seweral times asked us if everything is ok and if we dont need anything. Ladies at reception were wery kind in every way, ready to help with anything and always with smile on their face. This was my second stay here, buy I must say that I will come here again nevertheless its more than 1100 km for me to get here.

Modern hotel with all mod cons, shower room with toilet and 2nd separate toilet. Double bedroom and v.good sofa bed for kids right in front of large Netflix enabled TV👍. Ideal for the beach and restaurants. Good breakfast and onsite parking, first come first served basis, public car park available alongside. We stayed the last week of the season so hotel restaurant was closed for lunch/dinner but not a problem though as plenty of places to eat nearby. Would recommend for families or couples.

The hotel is in the very center of the city, which is a big plus for our vacation, the apartment is neat and clean...I was most impressed by the view from the balcony, which is perfect, the staff is helpful and friendly, especially the receptionist Luce, the breakfast is varied and I was impressed by the fact that versatile and for my boyfriend who is a vegan, which is an additional plus for the hotel, I would recommend it to everyone

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Porin for a week. It exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, nestled in the middle of the harbour area / old town, which, as we learned during the week, is the most idyllic spot in the whole of Makarska. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The hotel receptionist was extremely attentive and even spotted it was our birthdays during the week, arranging for a bottle of prosecco and some cheesecake to our surprise. She even went to great lengths to ensure we visited the best restaurants and got the correct ferry over to Hvar for a day trip. The rooms are recently refurbished and immaculate. The decor and the fixtures are really nice. We would highly recommend a room with a sea view overlooking the harbour and if you can afford it, room 8 with its private balcony and hot tub. We rarely re-visit places but my partner and I both agreed we would definitely come back some time. The hotel has the most curb appeal of all the hotels in this location with the Biokovo mountains providing a stunning backdrop. We would have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone.

Our two day stay in the superior king sea view room (with green decor) was excellent in every way. Hotel Porin is perfectly situated overlooking the sea and right in the heart of Makarska. Photos on line are accurate and the renovation of this building is first class. We walked everywhere apart from catching a taxi up to the nearby (closed) fort for amazing views of the town and coastline. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby although we did enjoy dinner at the hotel one evening - food was delicious with generous portions. We appreciated the excellent individually controlled air conditioning in our room and the plentiful included breakfast. Loved the freshly made vegetarian cheese omelette and orange juice straight out of an orange (not bottle). Coffee was superb. Staff were friendly and so helpful. When we needed to withdraw cash a staff member ran out into the street to tell us not to use a particular machine due to its exorbitant commission. The sunset view from our room was stunning. Two days was just right to get to know this charming town and was a pleasant stopover between Mostar and Split.

Sadly we were only able to stay one night at this fabulous hotel. It is right in the front with lovely views of the marina and at the back you are in the old part of the town. Lovely decor and amenities including bathrobes, water, and the usual tea (and black tea not herbal), and coffee facilities but most importantly a very comfortable bed in which to sleep. And a shower with strong water pressure Breakfast was buffet style but freshly made eggs to order. And Prosecco for breakfast. Champion. We were able to park our car directly opposite the hotel and use one of this daily €20 passes. We were advised on arrival that the bar behind the restaurant played loud music. We heard it very faintly when we came back to the room after dinner but it didn’t stop us sleeping or wake us up at all We were told

Top accommodation and delightful stay! This Hotel is at top location in Makarska, on the city promenade with newly renovated modern rooms and comfortable bed. The beautiful modern interior of the very clean room with a touch of luxury is amazing. You will find lovely little mini set of Rituals cosmetics in the beautiful bathroom (details that make a big difference 😊). A short walk to restaurants and the beach from the hotel. Lively bar is right outside the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always at your service. We had a breakfast at the hotel's restaurant Cvit soli, at nice mediterranean terrace with great food and top service. We would recommend a room with a sea view overlooking the harbor. We highly recommend this hotel and hope we will be back soon!

Vk Zagreb was staying at Hotel Porin in Makarska from 24.02. till 27.02.2022. Hotel Porin is a beautiful place with a fantastic view. It's a brand new hotel with great decoration details. Beds in the rooms are very comfortable. Bathrooms are very nice. We had a great time at Porin. Our players were also very satisfied. The staff at the hotel are so kind and helpful. They took good care of us and made us laugh so many times. If you are ever in Hotel Porin restaurant Cvit Soli just ask for bartender Renata, waiter Radovan "Raso" or the owner. They are one of the best people working in tourism and hospitality. Always working hard, in a good mood and smiling.

The location of the hotel is great, in the middle of the Makarska Riviera, on the beach. The rooms are well equipped, with special attention to everything that serves comfort. The breakfast is varied, with many special dishes and carefully prepared from high-quality ingredients. The waiters are very polite, the room ladies are kindly attentive. The receptionists are extremely helpful and always very kind. The Marittimo hotel was the perfect choice for us, we love Makarska and now we have found the ideal accommodation, we hope we will be able to stay there another time.

A peaceful location when staying here in October overlooking the sea with no traffic noise or music from bars for travellers who want to explore Makarska without the crowds. A 15-minute walk from the bus terminal and walking the promenade is suitable for all ages. As the promenade is tree lined, seaviews may be obstructed, but I was lucky to have a room with a gap in the trees. The breakfast options are ample and delicious.

This smaller family-run hotel is exactly what you expect from your holiday. The staff is super kind and polite at every position. Rooms, as well as the whole hotel and surrounding is super clean and smells fresh. Absolutely delicious breakfast with a various choice. Beach is right across the sea-side promenade, 10m from the hotel. The meals at the hotel restaurant are fresh and tasty.

Perfect location next to the beach a lot of restaurants at walking distance and the restaurant of the hotel itself is also great. Good breakfast! They reserved a parking spot for us with our name so you can go out and come back without having to worry about losing your parking place. Comfortable beds and very friendly staff.

You simply have to love this place, it is nice, cozy and charming🩷 And the staff is very , very kind and helpful. Their guest service is so great that some of the 5star hotels could send their staff to learn from them how to treat their guests. All recommendations!

The apartment is wonderful and exactly as described. It’s in a fantastic location—just a 2-minute walk down the stairs to reach everything. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you need, especially for those planning to cook their own meals. Our host, Ms. Ankisa, was amazing—extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. She regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well and was always available if we needed anything. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again!

First of all the hospitality was 10/10, the host Anica was always there for our needs and questions.The cleanliness of the place is outstanding and the comfort of the beds is great ,so it is the perfect choice for a good rest and sleep. Brand new beautiful and modern apartment with two levels. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and very close to the beach and all the attractions on the boardwalk. Host was amazingly friendly and helpful. Parking was on site and great to have as parking seems to be at a premium in the area. Can’t say enough good things about the apartment and would definitely come back!!

The location is amazing and the view is devastating. Our host met us at the unit and opened the door for us. She showed us where to park, right at the door and allowed us to leave our car when time to go for awhile. She also saved my makeup bag which my husband had left behind. The unit is clean and plenty of space for two.

Have stayed at many hotels, but I came back to this one for the second time because it truly felt convenient and enjoyable from the moment you wake up — the day starts with a great breakfast, followed by time to relax at the wellness center, enjoy the poolside, or spend time at the beach. Then, just in time, it's dinner — which offers everything you could want. We enjoyed every part of our stay. We’re definitely coming back again because everything about this place makes it worth it! P.s stayed in May so the weather was 18C° - 25C° so it wasn’t that cool as you can imagine since it is a seaside resort so you better packing up summerish clothes tho, even tho it was cold to swim, it was warm enough in the afternoons to relax in the outdoor pools :)

Breakfast was great. Pool was wonderful. Location was awesome. Also, we booked to stay for 3 nights however, we had to leave after 2 nights (because if a flight change) the hotel was able to cancel our last night without charge. Thank you very much for being so accommodating.

Everything, nothing not to like. Sea facing rooms are amazing. Delicious, well varied breakfast. Great pool area. Close to plenty of restaurants, bars and main beach and 7 minute walk to old town and harbor. We will be back.

Stayed at this hotel for about 8 nights in june with a 2 year old kid and enjoyed our stay very much. Let's start with cons: I really can't say anything about the sickness of the walls, because our room was at the top corner of the hotel and didn't border other rooms but all the sounds from hallway were audible, so no door-soundproof whatsoever, be aware of the that. And all the food which has to be fried was a bit overfried and floated in oil. Otherwise everything was great: new nicely furnished rooms, AC, balcony, swimming pool, playground, spacious parking lot, very friendly and helpful staff. I can definetly recommend this hotel, if you are not afraid of it's location. Litte tip - there's no right turn to Put Kapelice if you are driving from Split, you have to go little futher and turn at ul. Tri Ceste.

Amazing hotel. I liked everything❤ I had beautiful vacations. View from the balcony is stunning, you can enjoy sunsets. Balcony is big and wide. Bed was super comfortable, room was enough spacious for 1 person. Tv has international channels. Very clean ( cleaning ladies took the garbage evety day from tbe room).Swimming pool is nice for hiding from burning sug during lunch hours. Receptionusts were friendly and let me leave my stuff before check in not to take bags on the beach. Walking distance from the best beach Nikolina. Going up takes little bit more efforts, but it is maybe 10 mins max , and due to uphill you can enjoy the view. I had room with breakfasts, which were also perfect. Different every day, variations of omlets, bakery, fruits, vegetables. Yammy! Thank you a lot. Would be happy to come back next year.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Deluxe suite 21 on the very top floor, beautiful room with a private terrace and stunning views. Very comfy bed and lots of storage space if you were staying for a while. Quiet location but only a 5 minute walk downhill to the beach and town. Lots of places to eat and drink at reasonable prices. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We spent a few hours at the pool and enjoyed a few drinks from the bar, very good prices. Breakfast was adequate and a good choice although I would have liked to see more fresh fruit choices. I would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend this lovely little hotel.

The room was clean and had everything I needed. The terrace/balcony was a wonderful size and had a beautiful view of the sea and the evening’s sunset. The staff were great; polite, helpful and friendly always greeted with a smile. Nice pool at the hotel which seemed a luxury for properties in the area, perfect for a quiet swim and lounging around when you want something different to the beach. Good location, a walk down to the town and plenty of shops and bakeries around too. Overall it was a great stay and if I return to Baška Voda I will definitely book again.

We stayed in a lovely room with a sea view, air con, bed was super comfortable and everything was in a good state, spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, standard offer of breads, buns, croissants, yogurts, sausages, eggs, fruits, salads, cheeses and salamis. Every day they made something different like pancakes, fritule (local pastry), French toast,... Pool is quite handy considering high temperatures and bar had everything we asked for. Staff is super friendly, they made us feel like home, even better 😊 Baska Voda was quite busy and loud. If you're looking for a quiet place to rest, this is definitely a place to visit!

Maestral was renovated some years ago and still remains tidy and neat. The architecture is spectacular in the lobby and on the ground floor where one can find the dining and breakfast area. The bar has been moved outside by the pool which is a better choice than in the past. There is "Yugoslav" charm, stone and wood being the natural elements inside what is a clever concrete building which utilises the downward sloping location for a car park coming from the road. We were very pleased with the room which was clean and fresh. The view is breathtaking from the balcony overseeing the swimming pool area, the cedar covered beach and further away a scenic view of the Split channel. The evening sunset was something not to miss and the dining buffet was outstanding. So was the service. The breakfast was maybe the best I have seen in any luxury hotel, ever! The swimming pool area is like a haven where one can relax with a drink and a book, taking regular dips into the perfectly heated basin. Almost no fight for the sun-benches which was particularly pleasant to avoid. There is a nice promenade into the small harbour town of Brela, where we took some light lunch in one of the pleasant little restaurants by the seaside. We had lunch twice in the small place second from the corner of the harbour proper and we do believe that was the tastiest shrimp garlic combo we have come across anywhere.

Great place, great breakfast. You can stay at the pool and also the sea is 200m from the pool, very convenient. Hotel is near the beast beach on riviera Makarsha, beach Punta Rata. Parking at the hotel is cheap per day.

We loved the location, the view, the lobby, the interior, the beds, the breakfast, the pool, the shower, the balcony and how clean the room and the whole hotel was!!! The distance to the sea is just around 50 meters and you can get free towels from the lobby. Just amazing!! In comparison to others we did like that the breakfast is brought to your table instead of you having to get it yourself. It gave us the time to relax and enjoy the beautiful green surroundings. Furthermore, our dog was also warmly welcomed! He received some gifts like a cooling mattress and a toy! Pjotr says thank you dear staff! Writing this review almost feels like a promotional ad or something, but really… It exceeded my expectations by far.

2nd time in this hotel, location is excellent being just a short walk from Brela centre and right above the beach. The hotel is well designed, spotless and has a beautiful pool area (sunbeds free). The staff are nice and pleasant and try their best to help especially Rocco. Rooms are clean, well appointed and spacious. Parking good value for money and not a rip off like in some hotels at 5 euro a day. Also we had an issue with toiletry refills in our room, we mentioned it to reception and they immediately fixed the issue which didn't reoccur. Always worth to raise any concerns when there and give hotel the opportunity to fix it. Overall Exceptional value for money

Food varied . Only criticism would be -not many vegetables and food tended to get cold quickly. Hotel next to a church . Bells chime on the hour and half hour . Really lovely to hear. Not a problem at night. Used indoor pool most days . Always quiet but was there out of season. Plenty of places to walk to along sea front and stop for a drink and take in views. Beach pebbly but ok with beach shoes . Sea too cold to venture into as beginning of May. Trips can be booked via hotel which is convenient as pick up outside front door and prices no more expensive. Took boat trip to Brac/Havar . Booked with street vendor. Good fun but long time on boat so beware as a few people suffered from sea sickness. Evenings quiet as season not open but would imagine very lively during peak of summer. English people in the minority which was nice as met other nationals to chat to. Would recommend area and hotel.

I wanted to go to Baska Voda and thought this hotel would be a good fit for us and I wasn't disappointed. We chose a sea view room but without a balcony. The room was very clean and had a view of the promenade, although the windows were rather small. Very comfortable beds, adequate storage, well appointed bathroom (even if the shower was over the bath, not my favourite). Safe and fridge in the room. But the rooms aren't the star of the show here. There is a great bar on the terrace with reasonably priced cocktails, the restaurant was good and the waiting staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and we ate at the hotel one evening, also good. The free spa is very well appointed, decent size pool, jacuzzi and gym. Also a wide range of payable services. All hotel staff are delightful. The hotel is in a prominent position in the village and the beach is directly across the road. Lots of restaurants to the right and a few to the left. Nice walks along the beach promenade in each direction. Overall the hotel is a great place from which to explore all the beautiful sites this part of Croatia has to offer. We will be back.

Couldn’t ask for a more perfect location. Staff are all wonderful and will do their best to provide excellent service. Food is always lovely. Relaxing areas to sit and drink wine or coffee both inside and outside.Rooms and suites are kept clean and to a high standard. Mini bar stocked with lots of choices of drinks, mixers, wine, beer, snacks - both sweet and savoury. Room service is excellent too. Balcony with our suite was fantastic; spacious with sun loungers, chairs and tables. Beautiful views of the sea and the pine trees. A stones throw from lovely cafes, bars, small shops, post office, supermarkets and harbour. Set in between Makarska and Brela which are both a lovely walk. Reception are happy to arrange tours and trips or taxi services to almost anywhere: highly recommended are Split, Bosnia, Vineyard Wine tasting. The indoor pool is contemporary in design and has two whirlpools next to it also as well as loungers and towels provided for guests. The spa treatments are excellent and highly recommended, the staff are fantastic, so friendly and deliver amazing treatments. The hair salon is also excellent and has lovely staff. We have gone several times to this hotel and are never disappointed. Can’t wait to visit next year.

Room was very comfortable, well presented, towels changed every day, bedding every couple of days. We had a room front facing, no balcony, but panoramic sliding back windows, giving a superb view. Bathroom was large, with lovely walk in shower. Plenty of space for toiletries on counter top. Sleep quality was good, comfortable beds, no noise disturbance from other rooms or outside. Storage was more annoying, looked good, but wasn't really practical for 2 ladies with long dresses to hang! But we managed, wardrobe door was left open with our clothes hanging out. Breakfast was excellent, superb choice, excellent presentation and options to eat outside. The restaurant Del Posto was the best in town, and we tried the majority. Ate there 3 times, delicious lamb chops! Great choice of wine. Pricing was good and even better for guests who enjoy 15% off the bill. The hotel pool was perfect to cool off in after a day on the hot beach. The gym was OK, could have done with some lighter weights for ladies...Location of the hotel is perfect, near to everything. Staff were all warm and friendly. We would really recommend the hotel for a stay in beautiful Baska Voda

A very stylish hotel set right by the beaches in the heart of Baska Voda. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly giving helpful advice when asked. Every area was clean and nicely scented. Our room had a huge bed with very comfortable mattress and pillows and had plenty of storage and efficient aircon. The breakfast buffet was freshly presented with lots of healthy options and I would recommend the restaurant for evening meals also. We enjoyed the spa facilities with deep pool, 3 saunas and a steam room. For the price we paid this hotel felt much more expensive and I can't fault it at all. We had a balcony room at the side near the church and although the bells sound they are quiet during the night. They didn't bother us at all and I actually liked hearing them. It made my stay all the more authentic.

The situation of this hotel was excellent. It has it's own corner on the outskirts of Makarska but is in walking distance of the town centre, via a greenery draped path, with ample choices of good restaurants and some bars. There were wonderful views from this 5 star hotel especially from our spacious bedroom with balcony and also the rooftop bar. The sunsets were amazing. It is a fairly new modern hotel, spotlessly clean with all the facilities required You have access to the hotel's small shingle beach where we enjoyed swimming in the sea and listening to the waves. The pool area wasn't overly busy but access to the main swimming pool was only from one end, so it could be a bit of a walk wherever you were situated. The swim up pool bar was fun and we enjoyed smiley service from the girls and lovely cocktails. There is also an indoor pool if the weather is poor. I only have a couple of niggly comments Some of the outdoor upholstery was in need of refurbishment. The buffet food could have been better. Some was luke warm and overcooked and dishes quite repetitive. So I'd advise you to opt for the bed and breakfast option as there are lovely restaurants nearby. All in all we enjoyed our holiday Have happy memories & would return.

This was our third stay in the hotel. Our first stay was in 2023 and i would rate it as the best one. Every year since then the quality faded ever so sligthly. For instance, prices in the bar by the pool skyrocketed, while quality of drinks plummeted...(martini bianco for 12€ only 1/3 full, regular espresso for the price of double,....etc. Also, this is the first time we had a feeling that they reuse the food that was not consumed day/night before... Do not get me wrong, this is still by far the best breakfast and dinner you can get in this area, there is astounding variety of dishes served, there is absolutely no way that you can stay hungry in Khalani hotel. You can find something to eat, even for the pickiest of people! Also it is well taken care of people with diffrent food alergies... Rooms are great,this time we stayed in deluxe suite with sea view, a proper apartment with two rooms and two bathrooms with sea view! Outside pool is heated and very clean, absolutely lovely place to cool off (depth 160cm). There are many, and i mean many, deck chairs with umbrella. Indoor pool depth is 130cm, with jacuzzi nearby. Wellness area is nice, clean, with 3 types of sauna and a place to relax. Also superb place for kids, as there are 2 pools and a whole playground made just for them. There are probably 150 steps and around 20 stairs to the beach, under hotel is a market and a nice walkway (15min) to the beachside of Makarska.

Very big breakfast buffet with really good quality food. Clean and big pool. Only thing that bothered me were the kids playing ball in the adult pool. They should maybe make a rule that ball games should only be played in the kids pool. Otherwise it was a really nice stay.

We book a suite for a week at the Aminess Kalani hotel in Marsala. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful and very quiet. We had a balcony with a view on the sea and 2 bathroom. The bed was bigger than a European king size! The hotel has many swimming pools that fits all ages. Children are allowed in all pools (indoor and outdoor). There is also a direct access to the public beach (stones not sand). The highlight of our stay was the kids club and the evening kids activities (disco, movie). Our 5 years old daughter asked us every day if she could go back! We would like to give a special recognition to Bojana (kids club) and Rebeka (reception) who made our stay particularly enjoyable! Diner and breakfast (half board) were good but not at the expected level from a 5 star resort.

The outdoor infinity pool was delightful, featuring plenty of comfortable day beds to choose from, I even had a spontaneous water aerobics session, which turned out to be a fun and refreshing experience. Afterward, I treated myself to a well-deserved gin and tonic by the poolside :). Overall, my time at the Makarska hotel was an absolute delight. From the convenient location to the yummy breakfast, excellent amenities, and enjoyable poolside moments, it was a memorable experience.

EVERYTHING! All staff are so friendly and polite, the hotel is very clean, right on the beach front and has a fantastic pool area and pool bar. All very clean, plenty of sunbeds with parasols too. Pool is heated and beach area is clean. We had amazing views from our balcony too. Breakfast and dinner buffet had so much choice! Something for everyone. You can rent paddleboard, kayaks, bikes, jet skis all nearby. Lots of facilities for children of all ages from pool tables to a gaming room with Xbox and PlayStation! Never seen that before in a hotel. Very cool feature

Family room perfect for 2+3. Food was absolutely amazing, great choice for breakfast and dinner buffet. Very kind and helpful stuff everywhere especially in the restaurant and pool bar. Indoor pool and the area in front of it on artificial grass were amazing to fight off the heat. Very good bar with high quality drinks and cocktails. Well equipped gym with a sea view. Live music most evenings, with good mix of Dalmatian and international classics. Excellent kinds entertainment programme but very often activities didn't take place due to lack of children, which was a pity because the monitors were super nice. We appreciated pool/ table tennis and table foot in the lobby. Valamar app was very useful.

Great hotel in a really chill and relaxing area which felt very safe. Loved the c40m long infinity pool where you could hang out in the shade of the trees watching the world go by a stones throw from the beach. Even in mid August no problem getting a sun bed, double bed or bean pillows to sit on (and umbrella) either at the pool or one of the other more shaded areas. Loads of great restaurants right on the beachfront to choose from for dinner.

We loved the view from the room, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast and the dinner were simply great with a lot of choice. The indoor swimming pool is huge and heated, possible to swim, there's a sauna, outdoor swimming pool, there are places for kids to play and a nice lobby with happy hour drinks and live music on certain evenings, outdoor sitting, and direct access to the beach.

The Villa is the perfect place for couples, the room is spotless, very modern, spacious and we received a cleaning service and new towels everyday. The location is also amazing as the beach is right in front of the villa, but we also had the option to use the adjacent hotel’s pool. The staff was incredible, very helpful and kind, it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they noticed and brought us a small cake as a surprise. We also had parking that was in the hotel’s garage and at a very reasonable price.

The location is ideal. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was really good. When I extend my stay for another night, first I've been told I will have to move to another room, but in the morning they surprised me by making some rearrangements and letting me stay in the first room, which I was very happy with. The pool was also a big plus and it was never crowded. I will definitely come back to Verica!

Gorgeous hotel with lobby view, lovely infinity pool and we booked the swim-up room which was fun and great for length swimming. Thoughtful shower curtain and nice lighting. Delicious breakfast buffet with terrace overlooking stunning view. You need to make sure you are there in plenty of time at mealtimes though as the food is removed promptly at closing. Lovely beach with crystal waters, beach shoes a must. Nice walk along front with swim cave, a little shop or two and nice restaurants.

We stayed in a premium room that had a balcony with 2 sun beds in the block just above the swim up rooms where our sons had a room. The room was very well sound proofed. In the 2 weeks I didnt hear any annoying noise/other guests/rowdy bar noise or anything. Probably one of the quietest rooms ever. The location between the two villages/towns of Brela and Baska connected by a pedestrian sea side pavement walk was perfect. The walk into Baska was a little easier. There were some steps on the path into Brela.

We came early in the morning because we are travelling overnight with baby, did not expected that the room will be ready however we tried to asked at reception. The receptionist told us the the hotel is full but he will try to do his best. In 15 minutes he came that the room is ready and we were extremely thankful. The surprise came when we entered the room. He gave us the most amazing room with private pool and only said to enjoy it. I did not believe that so I send back my husband to ask and receptionist only said that it was free update and again that we should enjoy it. Totally loved it. And for baby it was perfect because she could sleep in the room during midday sun and we could enjoy the pool from our room. Our first vacation with baby was just perfect. We are extremely thankful for everything in this hotel. Staff was also very helpful during breakfast and dinner. Thank you again. Hope to see you next year

Villa Paulina is a true gem, set in an incredibly beautiful location with breathtaking views, right next to the sea. The apartment was perfect and very comfortable for our family of four – spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Daily cleaning kept everything impeccable. Breakfast was delicious,,with a wide selection to choose from every morning. Ana and the entire staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling. Thank you ! The pool was wonderful, ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach. Beautiful location, great property and staff. Our only criticism is that it feels very tight. Whether it’s the valet parking (takes at least 30 minutes), the crowds at the buffets or - the worst - the crowds at the pool. One urgent plea to Management: PLEASE prevent folks from blocking pool chairs without lying down. After 9 am everything is blocked and nobody is there! This really tainted our vacation negatively.

Beautiful relaxed hotel. Great breakfast and dinner. Lovely rooms with safe and mini fridge, great pools and spa. Location vey good, right on the beach near supermarket and bakery and few tourist shops. Pharmacy 2 minute walk away. Parking issue resolved by using their valet service which was €8 p/day and good service for when we needed car back, Would definitely return.

There is a small number of parking spots at the hotel which needs to be pre booked and much cheaper than parking locally. The hotel facilities are 5* the indoor pool and spa is beautiful. Food was very tasty we had both breakfast and lunch. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced considering the location. The hotel is very tastefully decorated throughout and is spotlessly clean. Sound proof rooms, we could not hear any of the local bars or nightlife once in the room. Makarska is such a beautiful place and is a lively town and well worth a visit it has something for everyone.

Really nice hotel right next to beach, harbor, market and to everything. Hotel has a big pool with a great view to the harbor and to the mountains. Rooms are very modern and beds comfortable. The hotel actually has different time spending facilities – outside pool, gym, inside spa with 2 different saunas. If you are travelling with bus then it is about 500m form the main bus station – connections with Split, Trogir edc. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel, very polite service and good freak first!

Huge comfortable clean rooms. Fab position. Wonderful staff who are helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. My only criticism would be to cut the music played in the public spaces, it’s not intrusive but a bit annoying! There is underground parking, a small gym, indoor pool and jacuzzi, outdoor pool. The beach is about a 4 minute walk away. I would stay here again with no hesitation.

We spent 10 days at the Miramare with 2 teenagers. On arrival our kids were upgraded to a sea view room for free - these are definitely the better choice if budget allows and if your budget can stretch further, get a room with a balcony. This is something we really missed and would be our only criticism of the hotel - that not all sea view rooms have balconies. The kitchen area has a good size fridge but limited equipment if you want to self cater. The breakfast provided a wide range of European breakfast choices and was available until 10am.The outdoor pool is a great temperature but quite small and doesn't have a shallow end. Inside the hotel is a spa with small indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and small gym which provided a good opportunity to get out of the midday sun. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is close to the beach, restaurants and harbour but has excellent sound proofing and car parking - so you can be close to everything without the noise! Our favourite part of Makarska was the old town as it was quieter than the beach and harbour and provided a more modern eating and drinking experience. As a resort, Makarska is very busy - much busier than we expected so if you want a quiet getaway, this isn't the resort for you

The pool is great with sun from 9 am to 2pm, but you have to get up at 6 if you want to have a place!! The restaurant area (terrace) is too large compared to the pool...

Great location, ability to use the swimming pool at the hotel’s sister property nearby, plentiful and varied breakfast, comfortable bed. This was our second stay, and we would return.

Centrally situated on the seafront promenade, everything to hand including shops, bars, restaurants and boat trips. Very glad we chose this hotel as some of the others are too close to the noisy music from the "party boats" that seem to gather in numbers on certain evenings. We had a top floor room with a lovely (very private) balcony complete with sun awning. Very comfortable room, possibly a bit lacking in storage for the 7 days we were there. Very helpful staff, apart from one extremely miserable and superior looking one in the bar area. Only real niggle at the hotel was that the hot water took forever to run through, well over 10 minutes some mornings. Frustrating and very wasteful. Ferry to Brac goes from directly opposite. We found Sumartin port a bit of a non-event but I guess you can catch buses to prettier parts. Makarska has a real charm, with a feel of holidays several years ago but with all the modern add-ons. Lovely safe place, it's been while since I felt happy to put by bag on a restaurant terrace chair without feeling it was going to be snatched. Gorgeous views around the waterfront and back to the very impressive mountain. Certainly one to return to before the secret is out

We are currently waiting for our taxi to take us to the airport after having a wonderful week in this hotel. The hotel is really nice, clean, friendly and just a few paces to the waters edge. The staff are really welcoming and the food is very good. We stayed on a half board basis and never had any meals we didn’t like. Our room overlooked the mountains but you can get see views if you prefer. Makarska is beautiful with lots to explore, but it’s also very easy to hop on a bus to visit further along the coast. We went to Basca Voda, Breda and Omis on the bus. There are also lots of boats across from the hotel to take you on excursions to the islands. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and the resort itself.

We arrived late in the afternoon and the owner of the villa was waiting for us to help with the accommodation and with the private parking close to the villa. Our room was with great terrace with sea view and beautiful scenery for morning tea/coffee or evening drink. The Wi-Fi was excellent in the room. The room was equipped with refrigerator, but glasses, dishes and kettle were in the kitchen on the same floor and used by other guests, too. The towels were regularly changed. The location of the villa was very convenient- close to the beach, open market and other markets and restaurants. There is a beautiful kilometers-long walking path by the sea that connects Bashka Voda with other touristic places. The most important reason for coming again and again to Adriatic Sea is the characteristic smell of the sea, local pines, lavender, rosemary and other flowers that bring back memories from childhood and youth.

We had a room with a sea view and I recommend choosing one. Although the apartment is not just at the beach, it is just a few minutes walk, but it is a bit up, so you have a very nice view of the sea. Every room has a balcony or terrace you can enjoy your morning coffee with a sea view, which I always enjoy. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. There was a well-equipped shared kitchen on our floor. A private parking is available. It's just a short walk to the port, beach, shops and restaurants. The location is really good. I really recommend it!

I recently stayed in a small apartment during my vacation, and it exceeded my expectations. The apartment was cozy and well-located. Marian, the owner, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He explained everything we needed to know and offered great recommendations. On the day we checked out, he kindly offered to let us leave our belongings at the apartment so we could enjoy the beach longer without carrying everything. Marian’s friendliness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Very tidy apartments. Although the room we stayed in was small, it was very comfortable for the three of us (with a toddler). Spacious terrace. I would like to give a special mention to the choice of air conditioning in the rooms. You can change the direction of the air blowing, which in a really small space adds a lot to the comfort. If you are going to cook, there is a very tidy communal kitchen with all the utensils.

The staff is extremely friendly, and pleasant and I strongly recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel, breakfast, friendly staff. Distance from the beach is 4 minutes walk. Offer a lot of trips to Dubrovnik, Split, Mostar, Sarajevo. It also has a lot of activities for children. The sea is crystal clear and the mountain "Biokovo" is simply breathtaking. I recommend this hotel.

The room is quite comfort and the view is great, very close to the beach, just a short walk 3-4 min, and the promenade. The staff was very polite and helpful so all in all we had great stay.

Absolutely recommend! If you are looking for a pleasant accommodation in Makarska, and you dont mind a 10-15 min. walk to the sea or into town, this is your place! Villa Ruza has many rooms, most of them have a nice view to the sea, it has kitchen on the doorway (very clean, and perfect for those who like to cook their own and eat it on the balcony for example), but you can order breakfast for 9€. The owner is very kind, she is there almost all the time, but if not, she answers quickly on booking chat, and there is a keybox so you can get your room while she is not there. They have a steap road to the parking area, dont be afraid of it. The cleaning ladies are also very kind and do a 10/10 job. You have fridge and A/C in your room, and grill next to the building.

Staying at Villa Ruza was more than pleasant. The hosts are wonderful people who made our stay even more enjoyable. Meeting such lovely hosts makes your trip unforgettable. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary amenities and offers a very comfortable stay. It is particularly worth mentioning the high level of cleanliness, which is impeccable. The only thing to note is that the apartment is on the main road, about a 20-minute walk from the beach, and the return can be difficult for some people as it requires a somewhat strenuous uphill walk. From our side, all recommendations, and we would return again. Thanks for everything! :)

Everything, Ivan and his wife were so welcoming making us feel at home. The place was spotless and we had everything we needed. They made it such a wonderful stay with their hospitality and kindness, even giving us a lift to the Bus station. The breakfast was wonderful and great value for money. We had a wonderful room with a balcony overlooking the sea view.

The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and supportive. The view from the balcony is awesome. The rooms are offered with a fully equipped kitchen (shared with other guests on the same floor). All the facilities provided were as per our expectations. Highly recommended. We will surely come back to Makarska and would love to stay at this property again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Villa Andrea for 2 (out of 3 booked nights but we had to leave earlier due to an emergency at work) but we truly loved every single aspect of our stay. The hotel itself is literally a 10 second walk to the beach, which was one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a working AC which was amazing. Our bathroom also came with a box of amenities (shower gel, toothbrushes, sewing kit, etc.) but some of the boxes were empty (most likely from previous guests who stayed in the same room). One negative note, the wifi did not work for me at all but then again, we were on a beach vacation and wifi was not really needed! The restaurant downstairs, Olive Tree, was amazing. We went 4 times over our two day stay for dinner, lunch, and 2 coffee breaks. The beach is located right in front of the hotel and if you are a guest, you are allowed to use the lounge chairs on the sand for free which was a big plus. Essentially, if you are a guest of Villa Andrea, you basically have access to your own private and beautiful beach. Also, as a guest, you are allowed to select a bike from the huge selection of bikes they have in the back (for free) and take them for a ride up and down the boardwalk area. Highly highly highly recommend!

Aufeindhalt 6 naechte in der hochsaison im august fuer zwei erwachsene und ein Kind. Das hotel liegt etwas abseits von Tucepi und damit hat man mehr ruhe und bequemlichkeit am strand. Die liegen am strand sind sehr bequeme und neue varianten sind anders und viel besser als die alten die woansders ueblich sind. Der eisstand ist sehr gut, der beste eis in Tucepi... Die mittarbeiter vom eisstand sind sehr gut und sehr freundlich wenn man gast von dem Hotel ist... wenn nicht hmm... Das Restoran ist top, der cheffkoch weiss da bescheid wie man leute mit essen verzaubert. Die bedienung extrem gut, man fuehlt sich wie zuhause, lassen sie sich von Zeljko ( ein sehr guter weinkenner) und Biljana ( eine lustige und immer zuvorkommende mitarbeiterin die immer freundlich ist) bedienen. Die zwei sind die besten im Hotel. Die "cheffin" Blansa fuehrt ihr hotel wie man es fuehren muss, ist immer fuer den gast da, eine sehr nette und tolle person. Die zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und sind sehr sauber, Zimmer 5 ist bisl laut abents wenn man mit kind frueh schlafen will. Das hotel ist alles in allem sehr gut, das personal sehr aufmerksam und top eingestellt, das preisleistungsnivo laesst bisl zu groessen, ist bisl teuer aber man bekommt nunmal woander in Kroatien nicht mehr fuer sein geld...

Unbeatable Location and Wonderful Hospitality. The standout features of Villa Andrea are definitely the location and the staff. You truly can’t beat waking up, enjoying breakfast, and strolling just a few steps to reach the sea. Nestled in a peaceful part of town, the villa is still within easy walking distance of shops, bars, and restaurants along the beautiful coastline. The stunning beach lies just steps across the promenade, meters from the hotel. Another major plus was the convenient parking arrangement, one of the key reasons we chose this place. You can drop off your belongings at the villa and then drive just a minute or two to park your car nearby. A special shoutout to Biljana, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her warmth made our stay even more memorable.

We discovered this delightful boutique hotel through an article in The Times. It is in a beautiful location right on the beach with trees providing shade, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, friendly welcome, excellent service from dedicated staff and management, rhythmic lapping of gentle waves sending us off to sleep at night . . . what more could we ask for? Just the week we needed. Can highly recommend Villa Andrea. Car hire recommended to enable visits to neighbouring towns and access to some of the beautiful islands. Would advise being there before end of September if you wish to take full advantage of local facilities and restaurants as the season winds down. (Hotel is still fully functional for longer).

Our US-based family of 3 stayed at Villa Andrea for 5 nights inmate June 2022. The sea view room (we had a smaller one) was perfect for a family of 4. The staff is very, very nice and helpful. Breakfast and the on-site restaurant were very good. The best aspect of the hotel is that it is one of the very very few with a "private" beach - and enough beach chairs and towels for their guests. Getting down the promenade to the hotel and parking is a little tricky at first, but just take it slow. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. Highly recommended.

Resort Urania really surprised me in a good way. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that was spacious enough for 4 people. The apartment’s equipment was unbeatable – the resort really thought of everything. The rooms were clean, and while cleaning was done on request, you could change the sheets yourself whenever needed (I don’t see that as a minus). Breakfast was very rich, with something for everyone. The quality of the ingredients was high, and the fruit selection was one of the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Dinner was the same story – very tasty food, a wide selection, grilled dishes on the terrace, and a large variety of desserts – and not just different puddings or jellies in cups like you often get in supposedly “higher-class” hotels. These were real baked cakes and pastries. Within the hotel grounds there’s a perfect children’s playground, big enough so it doesn’t get boring quickly, and our son really spent a lot of time there. You could reach the beach within a few minutes, it was really just a short walk. There was plenty of space on the beach, it didn’t feel crowded at all. Note – it’s a public beach, so umbrellas and sunbeds are only available for a fee, and the price was quite high (around 15 euros for a set of two sunbeds and an umbrella). There were plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly, and everything works better and more smoothly than even in higher-class hotels. Upon arrival, they organized a late check-in for us and saved our dinner. The breakfast is exceptional - there is a wide variety of choices, from pancakes to fruit. Dinner, although perhaps with slightly fewer options than breakfast, is still very tasty, and you can always find several dishes that suit your preferences (even if you don't eat pork). Additionally, draft juices and free coffee are available both at breakfast and dinner, which is rare in Croatia. Parking is also free and spacious, conveniently located halfway between the beach and the apartments, which is very useful for transporting things. The settlement is quite peaceful and quiet (not in the hustle and bustle of Baška Voda). There is a real homely atmosphere, which is not surprising considering that many of the staff, as well as the owner, are originally from Bosnia. :-) We will almost certainly come back again if you keep up the good work.

We had a great stay at Urania family Resort, plenty of great food, both breakfast and dinner, with a wide variety of dishes. Our Apartment seemed like it had been renovated recently and was super nice, modern and clean, with everything we needed. There are plenty of seating areas where you can chill in the shade under the big pine trees, if you don't want to be in the sun at the beach. The beach is great with crystal clear water, but sharp little stones, no sand, so swim shoes are a good investment. Possibility to rent jet ski, SUP etc... Laundry service costs a little extra, but good to have the possibility. It's only a few minutes walk into town, and there are many nice Beach bars on the way. All the staff was super helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for a week with our teenage children, in a premium apartment. The accommodation was clean, tastefully furnished, spacious for four - almost adult - people. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the wifi was fast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was very close: the beach, the restaurant, the parking lot, the bar, you didn't have to walk anywhere for more than 2 minutes. The beach is wonderful, the water is crystal clear. There are also quiet, not too crowded sections. I would highlight the half-board service, which is completely worth the price! It was plentiful, varied, the children always found something suitable for themselves. The grilled fish and meat on the terrace were impressive. Even as a vegetarian, I always found a tasty dish. It was completely worth the price, we will come back.

Once we moved to a premium apartment everything was heavenly, staff was amazing, food was good, the apartment was clean and comfortable with beautiful views to the sea that by the way this resort has the BEST beach in the whole area (including the islands), in general the location is great, near bars and restaurants, the marina and lots of shops nearby. the playground and the softplay next to the restaurant were so well used and approved by my kids. I am definitely coming back with my family again! The reception staff are so kind and professional, and they gave us a box of local biscuits as a goodbye present.

Staff on the whole were very nice, smiling, service-orientated. Evening entertainment was good (probably more of it in high season).

Es ist ein familienfreundliches Hotel, dementsprechend ist auch der Lautstärkepegel erhöht. Hotel ist in den Jahren, da darf man nicht zu viel erwarten. Bei meiner Schwester im Zimmer sind die Fliesen notdürftig wieder dran geklebt worden. Auswahl an Essen war ausreichend, man muss eben rechtzeitig zum Essen dort sein, damit man auch die beste Auswahl hat. Wir haben beobachtet, wie die Gäste zuerst die besten Sachen sich auf die Teller gehäuft haben und es nicht immer davon Nachschub gab. Vom Abendprogramm hab ich mir etwas mehr erhofft. Wir hatten ein kleines Upgrade: aus einem Zimmer mit Bergansicht haben wir ein Zimmer im letzten Block bekommen in Richtung Meer (ziemlich weit weg und verdeckt von den anderen Gebäuden - aber die richtige Richtung). Anlage besteht aus mehreren Blöcken. Hauptgebäude mit Restaurant und Pool und dann dahinter die Nebengebäude ca. 3/4 Etagen ohne Aufzug. Zum Strand: meiner Meinung der beste Strand an der Makarska Riviera, nur würde ich empfehlen nicht direkt wo das Hotel ist, sondern etwa 100-300m links der Promenade lang. Da ist der sauberere Kies-Strand mit Auswahl vom natürlichen Schatten und auch sonnigen Plätzchen. Sonnenliegen gibt es vom Hotel nur am Pool, am Strand sind sie kostenpflichtig. Kosten für 2 Sonnenliegen mit Tischchen und Sonnenschirm für 25€/Tag. Hotel hat Bade-/Strandtuchservice (gleich beim einchecken Kärtchen anfordern) neben dem Restaurant kann man sich die Tücher holen, umtauschen war von 7-19 Uhr möglich.

The beach is amazing in Tucepi, but at this time of the year (early June) the sea is still a bit chilly (not that it stopped us from swimming though). It is literally placed in front of the hotel. We loved the pool and kids activities. The animators were really doing their best to make the trip memorable for our daughter, so we could all enjoy it. There was a quiz and lovely live music in the evenings. The food was very delicious and there was plenty of choice for everyone. All the workers were very kind and lovely, from receptionists to hygienists.

Perfect location, directly on the beach. Very comfortable and clean family room with 5 beds, nice pool and entertainment for kids. Hotel staff was kind and helpful, we had a perfect holiday!

We stayed here 31st may- 7th June- weather was gorgeous apart from a few rain storms later in the day which cleared up within an hour if that! Brela is a quiet village with restaurants/bars right on the beach (5 min walk) and Baška Voda the other way with abit more going on (10 min walk). 3 hours from Dubrovnik and 1.5 hours from Split. Large private car park available. Handful of free sun-beds for apartment guests which was great as all over beaches you had to pay. The apartments themselves are lovely, modern and clean with mini fridge for balcony beers! Our room had an amazing frontal sea view. Ladies who run the apartments were really lovely and made you feel so welcome! One of the ladies lives at the property next door so is always on hand! Breakfast is down the steps from reception (lift available) with 3 steps to jump straight onto the beach. A selection of hot foods, fruits, Croatian delicacies available although couldn’t comment on this as we had pancakes EVERY morning- with an extra added touch on my birthday! We would 100% recommend here and if we ever return would be no question that we wouldn’t stay here again. It’s in a perfect location to stroll during the day/evening to the restaurants, bars and marina’s.

We had a wonderful stay at this small, family-run hotel in Brela. The owner greeted us personally, helped with our luggage, and made us feel at home right away. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea — perfect for enjoying a quiet tea ceremony. Great location just a short walk from the beach, in a green area with scenic views. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and tasty. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay! The host welcomed us with open arms and even prepared some thoughtful welcome gifts, which made us feel very special. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. The views are absolutely amazing and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. Communication with the host was smooth and easy, and we felt truly cared for during our stay. One small note: the apartment is located quite high up, so if (like us) you feel brave enough to walk to the beach and back… good luck! 😉

The owner was very nice, she left us everything we needed for a quick breakfast. The apartment was clean and we had everything we needed for our short stay. It was quiet and pretty cool during the night so we didn't even have to turn on the ac. It is pretty far from the beach, but that didn't bother us as we only stayed for a night before leaving home.

From the beginning, the owner was very nice and very kind. They offer us if we need any help with bags etc Owenr left us some refreshments in the fridge ! :) The apartment was on the 2nd floor,so nice and clean 10/10 . Beautiful view from the balcony, local shop 2 min away and also beach was near (5mim with car). Hopefully, we will be back next year :)

We stayed in the green apartment and it was really fantastic. The place has modern furniture and is super clean. Great view to the sea. And if you like hiking, e.g the Jure, you can just start walking frome the house. Yes, it is a bit up the hill but with a car no problem and therefore also more quiet. We can absolutely recommend it.

The location of the hotel, the beautiful sea view and the pool were fantastic! The champagne breakfast was delicious, with a good selection, and the 10% discount on other consumption was also good. Special thanks for the parking in the underground garage, which was dedicated.

In the apartment we were staying two couples and a dog. The apartment was lovely, clean, big plus are the comfortable good quality beds, thick blackout curtains on all the windows in the apartment, plus electric blinds. We didn't turn on the air conditioning though, as the apartment was comfortable without it. Spacious living room with large corner couch, large dining table, nice little patio, could use a little more dishes and utensils in the kitchen.. other than that there is nothing to fault. Easy parking, beach accessible down the hill a few minutes walk, groceries, ATM and everything needed very close by, fairly quiet street for being a condo right off the main drag road. Owner very nice helpful and friendly.

The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need for daily living. It’s well furnished, with a terrace and a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. The location is convenient, close to shops and attractions. The host was very friendly. There was a parking space and the possibility to stay with a dog. We were very satisfied with our stay.

The apartment is very modern and well maintained. The cleanliness levels are excellent. The host was very helpful and lovely. The apartment was very spacious, stylish and comfortable. It has everything you need - fridge, kettle etc. There is a balcony where you can chill. There is a parking AT the property and FREE of charge (not as common as you would think!)

Makarska is such a lovely little town and this apartment was beautiful. So modern and had everything you could ask for. Highly recommend if you are in town. Only 5-10 minute walk to the main town and there is a supermarket only 30 meters away.

I stayed at Hotel Milenij in Makarska for the first time, and I absolutely loved it. The location is perfect – right by the sea with stunning views, and just a short walk to everything in the city. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. What really stood out to me was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was so kind, especially the receptionist, Ms. Andrea, welcoming and always ready to help with a smile. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel right at home. On top of that, I completely fell in love with Makarska itself – such a beautiful city with a great atmosphere. I can honestly say this was an unforgettable experience, and I will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The hotel is beautiful and renovated. The staff is very friendly, food is excellent, the rooms are nicely decorated and always well cleaned. They have their own underground parking garage, which requires a reservation but is worth it. If I go to Makarska again, I will gladly return to this hotel, because it is worth the money.

Reception ladies were always nice and friendly, always with smiling, answering all questions. Breakfast was good too, lots of choices so everybody can get what they’re wanted. There is very good choice of food on the menu if someone wants to order something.

När vi anländer till hotellet så visar Petar oss upp till parkeringen och var hotellet ligger. När vi väl kommer fram fick vi direkt känslan av att detta är en genuint fin människa och OJ vad det motsvarade förväntningarna sedan. Petar och hans familj var villiga att ställa upp för dig när som helst och såg till att din upplevelse av staden och boendet skulle vara så bekväm det bara kunde bli. Vi har sovit på 6 hotell under resans gång och frukosten här var dessutom den bästa möjliga. Det fanns allt man behöver under en frukost dessutom med det godaste ifrån Dalmatien. Dessutom har han anställt en helt fantastisk kvinna i köket som ser till att du får det du behöver om det som läggs fram på buffén inte faller dig i smaken mot förmodan. Hotellet ligger dessutom precis intill den bästa restaurangen i Baška, restaurant king. Googla så får ni se själva! Oerhört nära till stranden dessutom och området man vill hänga på under kvällstid. Dom var dessutom oerhört gulliga mot våra barn vilket nästan är det viktigaste för oss. Upplevelsen här gör att jag aldrig kommer välja något annat när jag åker till Kroatien igen.

I have been coming to the Makarska Riviera for over 30 years, and I can honestly say that Vila Basca is the best of the best you can experience on this part of the coast. The property is simply stunning—an authentic stone house beautifully decorated with wood accents, full of character and charm. Its location is exceptional: just steps away from the beach and marina, and a lovely walk from nearby Brela. What truly makes this place unforgettable are the hosts, Ana and Petar. Their warmth and hospitality go far beyond expectations—they make you feel not just welcome, but truly at home. If I could give this property 100 out of 10, I absolutely would. Vila Basca is a rare gem, and I feel so happy and grateful to have discovered it.

We had an amazing time at Villa Baska. Peter and his family went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. From ironing our clothes before a night out in the evening to making fresh crepes at breakfast time. The location is great, the place is newly renovated to a high standard whilst maintaining the traditional feel and the family were so so welcoming and helpful. Their recommendations and assistance with reservations for dinner were spot on and we had the best meal of our holiday thanks to them. We can’t wait to come back. Baska Voda is stunning. We stayed at Vila Basca for 3 nights and were very satisfied with the service and interior. The place is modern and clean, and the beaches and restaurants are only a few minutes away by foot. Very friendly and helpful staff, who also quickly replied to the questions we had before arrival. The breakfast is as delicious as it looks on the pictures - plus we had eggs prepared fresh as we desired. We had the luxurious feeling as when staying at a hotel (fresh towels every day, reception, aircondition etc.) but it was much more cosy and nice as the place is not that big.

Villa Basca is a beautiful Villa. Very new, modern and comfortable. The owner was such a great host. He helped us with our luggages upon arrival, he brought me to the pharmacy when he found out I have skin allergy. He constantly make sure that we are comfortable staying at his property. The property is just steps away from the beach area. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by. Highly recommended, cannot ask for a better place to stay. Bonus is you get free breakfast and can park at his property for free.

We really enjoyed our 5-day stay at Aparthotel Flora Tucepi. It had nice facilities, welcoming and helpful staff and great peaceful location. We particularly liked our spacious and clean apartment and nice breakfast next to the pool area. The place had all it promised on the booking. Highly recommended for people who enjoy peace and comfort!

The room was clean and comfy. The Bathroom was huge and spotless. For a family of 4 it was perfect with a big Bedroom and comfortable bed and additional a pull-out couch. The staff is great, always greats you with a smile. The kitchen was practical too, with the essentials for cooking if needed (with a filter coffee machine and microwave). The beach is a few walking minutes from the Hotel. All in all, it was a perfect stay for us.

Although a sumptuous breakfast was available brig an apartment hotel cooking facilities were available in the room.I can honestly say that the Flora is the closest thing to perfection.Being located in Tucepi makes the Flora a very difficult place with which to part company.The mountain view balcony with its incredible sunsets is the perfect end to a perfect day.

-Squeaky clean, literally spotless when we checked in. -The staff are delightful, absolutely no complaints here. -Location is perfect, literally 2 min walk from the beach, although you will have to walk farther if you want a better spot, no big deal. -Room was really comfy and the air con was good. -Spacious balcony for evening sit-out

Everything in Flora was exceptional. Hotel is modern, very clean, excellent staff. Manager Jelena is very professional. All staff was helpful and so kind. if you need anything in your stay ask receptionist. Breakfast was great every morning. We rented 3 apartments for 12 people. Our stay was amazing we are coming back!!!

Pool areas are busy but there was always space available. Pools are a bit grubby. Hotel bars are lovely and the same price as local bars with great selection of cocktails. Right on the beach. Overall, a great spot for a family holiday.

The food was great, beautiful hotel interior(pool, pines and a view). On the road to the hotel we got lost, but I wrote to the hotel administration, and they ordered us a taxi at night time. So the service is also good.

Stunning location—beautiful nature, sea and pools! Super nice stuff (cleaning ladies, spa suff, dinning stuff—everyone was kind and accommodating!!) Food was delicious as well! Thank you :)

It is close to the beach, close to both nearby towns Brela and Baška Voda (walking distance from both towns), breakfast and dinner were exceptional, staff was very helpful. Since we were on honeymoon we received little welcome gift which was a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable and room although smaller was very nice. Two pools outside were also very nice. Hotel is modern and everything was very clean.

First of all the location is great, about 100m from the sea and a leisurely 5 minute walk from the beach, central market and playground. The building is in the flat central part of town, which is particularly important in Makarska, where most of the apartments are way uphill. The building is nice, clean (newly renovated) and has a lift for easy access. There's enough parking spaces in front for all the residents, which again is a huge plus in a town full of tourists. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen isn't the biggest, but has all the amenities you could need (incl. a dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster etc). The balcony is large enough for a table with 4 chairs and shaded most of the day, so we ended up eating most of meals there. The AC worked great (and was needed give the outside temperatures). The WiFi is fast and stable, we could reliably stream HD video. The owners are kind and forthcoming without being intrusive. They inquired several times if we needed anything via booking massages and were happy to oblige. All in all, we had a great vacation, and will be coming back for sure.

The apartament was really nice, super clean, with very well equipped kitchen and a nice balcony with a view, where one can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were really welcoming, nice and helpful. They showed us where the nice places to eat or shop are. The villa is localized in the center of the town, about 100 m from the seafront. There are supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants around. The beach is very close too. There is a parking in front of the villa. And there is a lift. :)

Our favourite stay on our Croatian holiday. The location is perfect, you will struggle to find a better place to stay. Short walk to both centre and beaches. Off the road parking within property grounds as well. Hosts are lovely and available for anything. We are a family of four, with a 1 year and 3 year olds. We found our stay very comfortable and safe. Children were happy. The layout of the property worked very well for us. When we return to Makarska we will not hesitate to stay here again.

Gina - Owner of this apartment was waiting for us and shown us apartment. In the fridge we found small refreshment after long journey, It was very big surprise for us. Gina is amazing person, very nice and helpful. Apartment is situated in very good location, in the center of Makarska. Everything is near, beach, restaurants, promenade , markets, bakeries. Heh. I would keep such a finding in secret, but have to be honest and appreciate the owner efforts. It is too good, too cozy, too lovely. Decorating of the apartment and the building in general are amazing. Balcony view is better than pictures, beds and lining are good. We would stay there more but had other travel plans already pre-booked... Would return again if price remains reasonable. Thanks for hosts for such experience

I'd never stayed at a hostel before. SUBTUB eliminated any negative misconceptions I had that they were dirty, crowded, and lacked private facilities. We had a large private suite with all the amenities of any other hotel suite...fridge, kitchenette, full private bathroom nicely appointed, large tv, and a double bedroom. Everything was modern and in working order. And we had A/C, although it wasn't needed the evening we stayed. Tito at reception was very friendly and answered all of our questions. All this for a price much, much cheaper than a traditional hotel. And, it is situated one block from the Makarska waterfront. Where all the action is.

Very nice and kind hosts, helpful too, explained where to find beautiful beaches, shopping centres, sightseeing attractions, the post office, and I got useful advice for cooking. The location is great, everything nearby, beach, restaurants, promenade, shops, marina, the path to lighthouse. Modern bathroom and kitchen. It was easy to cook because kitchen is fully equipped. And really clean in all areas. Bed was comfortable and the balcony nice and big. I had pleasant time and would stay here again. Thank you!

Absolutely loved my stay here. The host family are such warm, kind, helpful people and also really interesting people to chat to. They have two adorable little dogs too which are sweet. The facilities are great and the place was an ideal location and really easy to find from the bus station. I felt very safe here which is so important to me as a solo traveller and would definitely return the next time I'm in Makarska! Thank you!
