Constance Halaveli is one of the most pristine locations in the Maldives with scenario that's hard to beat, especially when overlooking the ocean from the private pool of your over water villa. The excursions are also second to none, with the Manta Ray snorkelling excursion being a bucket list highlight.

Staff in general was nice, few individuals need more training on their attitude. Food was good, healthy options. I would add more kids options. Family beach villa was good, a bit outdated in terms of furniture but well maintained. The outdoor bathroom was beautiful and the pool at villa was great, The kids loved it. Kids club had lots of activities and the staff was very friendly, our kids didn't want to leave that place. Very nice and advanced gym available within hotel. Spa had a sauna and cold pool with amazing few, really enjoyed it. In general very nice place for short break with small kids, we had a great time. Great alcohol quality and cocktails selection.

Constance is a small hotel group with hotels in the Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius and Madagascar. We have stayed at almost all of them because the service sets Constance apart from other hotels. The management takes care of all the guests' concerns. E.g. everything was perfectly organised for my birthday. A great menu in the wine cellar of the Jinn Restaurant (special thanks to the head sommelier and the chef who conjured up the menu). The bungalows are very nice, all with their own pool. Housekeeping twice a day who clean everything perfectly. The in-villa dining is perfectly organised. The food is not cheap but very good. The same applies to breakfast and the two a la carte restaurants and the buffet restaurant. Even better at Christmas and New Year's Eve with a great selection and super quality of all dishes. The wine list, whose wines you can enjoy in all restaurants, is breathtaking (over 100 pages!!). The spa is very good and staff also super friendly. A great holiday from arrival to departure. We would especially like to mention Mr Sameera Karunaratne, the Food and Beverage Manager, who checked with us every day to make sure everything was OK. My husband was not so fit for 2 days and Mr Sameera Karunaratne organised a very special meal for us in the villa. We didn't have to ask or pay anything extra for it. The same applies to a special evening with a menu on the beach because we missed the Christmas menu due to illness. Strongly recommended hotel!

Excellent hotel. We stayed in a family villa with a private beach and pool. The villa was two-story and for the safety of our child, partitions were made on the stairs. For a child of 2 years old, they provided a comfortable spacious crib. The coast is clean, wide, the entrance to the water is very convenient. Many animals: stingrays, small sharks, various fish, herons, gulls. Our meals were based on breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is excellent, very varied and plentiful. For dinner every evening the cuisine of different countries, which does not give you the opportunity to get bored. And a wide variety of food options. The entire hotel team was very attentive, friendly and responsive to all our wishes. Separately, I would like to note our Vill Hosts Palash. Every time the cleaning was excellent! Always friendly and responsive. Very attentive to all our requests and wishes. Just super! I would also like to mention Assistant Manager Max in the hotel restaurant. He surrounded us with care and attention. That makes you feel like a special guest. Warm and sincere from such an attitude, I want to return again. Also thanks to Victoria at the reception, who helped us organize a convenient and comfortable transfer to Male. In general, the most kind and vivid impressions of staying at this hotel: beautiful, cozy, welcoming and warm. Highly recommend to visit

We loved the resort and the place. We were two families staying in beach villa-s. The villas had own private pools and this privacy was golden. There was the beach, right in front with light blue/ turqoise water. Drinks at the main beach, whether during the day or night were very welcome. All the staff were super friendly and helpful with everything. All of them interacted with us and our 2 year old son. I wish I could name all but for now, will just stick to giving our heartfelt thanks to Santosh, Rashid, Max and Lucas for making us feel welcome. Thanks to Siraj for our snorkelling experience. Constance managed our transfers from and to the airport, seamlessly. The Lounge at the seaport was also very nice and clean. We really appreciated the late check-out at 3:30 pm, in line with our flight timings, which helped us squeeze out a few extra hours in this amazing place.

Excellent stay with 2 small children. Quality and space for beach villas with plunge pool was excellent. Massive amount of choice for food at the buffet every evening. Kids club was great with lots of different activities. Beautiful resort which is relatively new and in good condition

What's not to like? Stunning resort, villa on the lagoon, private pool, the picture perfect beach and sands, the sea life and the delicious food. The staff were always very attentive especially at the restaurant.

The location and property are stunning, just how you imagine The Maldives. The room was beyond my expectations, an overwater villa with its own private pool and an array of fish/stingrays/reef sharks and even a pod of dolphins passed…heaven!

The resort was beautiful, 30min from Male via a seaplane and the villa was very clean, well equipped with a beautiful private pool and an amazing view. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

We had a wonderful experience at The Standard ,Huruvalhi .We stayed in a Ocean Water Villa with private pool for 5 nights .Amenities were great .there was always a variety of food to choose from. Every staff member We encountered from our arrival to departure were delightful and eager to help! I would like to mention few names Our host Fawwaz, Akma & Daria ( Kids Play area), Jennifer, Noor khan, Akash ( Kula Restuarant) ,Chef Rakesh (BBQ Restaurant) and last but not the least ShaSha.They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The family villas are amazing, 2 floors, private pool. The Christmas Eve gala dinner was mind blowing!!! Kurumba is the place to go with family’s!!!!

Friendly & helpful staffs especially from the main restaurant, house keeping and reception. Location is good, very near to the airport, easy to reach. Early check-in is possible. Very good check-in experience. Good price.

The staffs  are very friendly. We went to celebrate my mum's Birthday and she is very happy with the stay at Kurumba Maldives. Ryan took a very special care looking after my mum and was very hrlpful in arranging everything that we need. Also, we really enjoyed the activities there, so many that you can choose to do from water activities like kayak and snorkling to indoor such pool, table tennis etc.

I thought 17 days in one place will be too much - no, we had a great holiday. Coral reef was full of fish to see, comfortable for snorkeling. Water clean. Villa was spacious, we never used the pool though, well cleaned. Staff attentive and polite. Food in the main restaurant was great, we didn't get bored of it. Orthodox Christmas Dinner was very special!

The all-inclusive was AWESOME! The restaurants were just 5-star top-notch experiences. The included excursions were a huge bonus as well as the free 3o minute facial as the spa is One of the nicest spa experiences I ever had (besides getting kicked out of the steam/ sauna/ hot tub/ cold plunge pool area) The staff are well trained, ALWAYS smell so good! They greet us with genuine greeting and don't treat us like we are pains in their asses.

Cleanliness was up to standard inside and out. The Beach Villas with your private pool have been perfect to relax and to enjoy some privacy & rest.
You enter your own garden through a gate into your home. There is a huge working desk, a closet with everything you could need inside. the bathroom which is completely outdoors. The toilet, one of the showers, the bath tub and sinks are under a roof in case of rain or strong sunshine. But there is a second outdoor shower which is completely open. It has been the best way to take a shower in the morning right after waking up. Beach Villa has access to the ocean which is perfect to go snorkeling.

What an amazing place! We have just got back from 6 nights and were blown away by this incredible resort. It is such a family friendly resort with plenty to do for kids and adults. Our children loved snorkeling to Nemo park, Kayaking, the main pool, hydrotherapy experience at the spa and the fabulous kids club! We loved the spa, cocktails at the adults pool and how easy everything was at the resort. The food was exceptional, we did not have a bad meal - the Indian had to be my personal favorite. Delicious! We were on the all inclusive deal and there was an extremely wide selection of wines, cocktails, ice teas, smoothies etc etc. The service was also fantastic everywhere we went - shout out to Hazeem for making sure we had the best week and Naresh and Vishal for their amazing attention to detail when eating in Iru and Bamboo!

It was our 3rd time in Sun Siyam and 2nd time in Iru Fushi. Location, service and food with AI were excellent. Great restaurants, especially italian restaurant The Trio was outstanding. Family pool was much better than pool for adults 😇 Welcoming and farewell were arranged on a top level 👍 Thanks for arranging wedding anniversary surprise for us! Additionally, we would like to express our appreciation to Antony (chef of the Trio) for best steaks, waiters Najulaan and Riyaz made our dinners exceptional 😎 Also, thanks to Samantha who made perfect and tasty crepes with nutella and bananas fir our children every breakfast in Iru Restaurant.

Beautiful setting and unforgettable sunsets. Fantastic location for people who value privacy. Spacious villas with great pool/garden. The resort is very clean and well maintained. Amazing service. Staff goes above and beyond to keep guests happy. Extensive all inclusive package (very good choice of beverages, 8 restaurants - of which 7 a la carte, 1hr hydro in a Spa per day - steam room, sauna, hot & cold pool, 2 excursions, wine tasting & more - all included in the package). Great choice of activities. Good value for money. Highly recommended!

We had the best holiday ever at Villa Sun Island in the Maldives. The beaches truly look like paradise – the Maldives are one of a kind. The food was very good and the staff extremely kind and helpful. A very special thanks goes to Nihad, who made our stay even more memorable. Thanks to her, we got a beach villa with a pool, which elevated our entire holiday by 100%! The evening entertainment program was excellent, our child really enjoyed the Kids Club, and the main pool with the swim-up bar was absolutely fantastic. We are truly grateful and will never forget this amazing experience. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a dream vacation! 🌴✨

We chose this resort for our honeymoon and we were very happy with our decision. It's been our first time in Maldives and for both of us it was the best trip we ever had. Villa Park is a great place to relax, enjoy the sun, nature, the beach, the walks and so on. It's a nice destination not only for honeymoons but also for families and friends's trip. The staff has been professional, friendly and kind. Our host Nizam really took care of us: he helped us to change room smoothly and greatly managed our request. We recommend choosing the all-inclusive package as you will be able to enjoy drinks at any time. Food selection at the buffet was excellent. The best room we stayed was the private pool villa by the beach.

Our stay at Sun Island was amazing! We did stay 7 nights and did celebrate Christmas, fantastic! The Christmas dinner was unbelieveble… soooo many things to eat and drink! And the staff was so proud.. and so are we! We did stay in a watervilla for 6 nights and 1 night in a deluxe pool villa (thanks for this amazing room). The watervilla is okay, not special. The deluxe pool villa (nr. 249) was fantastic!!!! The Sun Star restaurant is good and the staff here (especially Rachel, Alam, Navin and the man who cooked pasta/meat) are so lovely and helpful. Rachel, Alam and my fiancé now did organize a romantic dinner at the beach for our engagement. It was so special! At the Christmas dinner did Alan got the best place for us with a nice view. He’s a fantastic waiter! The housekeeping is very good at the accommodations, and very lovely too. There are a lot of activities to do, for free or organized like swimming with mantas, whaleshark and turtles. It was amazing too. We saw them all! The island is very beautiful with a lot of nice beaches, restaurants/cafes and spots. The only draw back is that you’ve to pay for drinks when there are small activities (example: drinks after colour run). If you walk a few meters you can get the same drinks for free… The people at the reception are also very helpful, in special Sana. She helped us with all our questions! We want to thank the whole staff of Sun Island, it was amazing!!

The staff on this island definitely deserve a 10/10 rating. From the bus driver, captain of the boat, reception (especially Khushbu) housekeeping, restaurant waiters (especially Majeedh) chefs, spa therapists, pool attendants (Shamim) pool bar attendant - they are all amazing. They know how to ensure that guests have a memorable experience at Villa Park. Thank you for making our stay a very pleasant one. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Beds are comfortable, food is delicious. Various watersport activities. Truly an unforgettable holiday!

We had an over the water bungalow with private pool which allowed direct entry into the beautiful ocean and snorkelling up close with the fish esp at low tide , we saw rays and reef sharks up close . The staff ,facilities and service was fantastic -an amazing experience

Ozen Mahdoo in the Maldives is the best resort we've ever visited. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional service, breathtaking views, and a sense of tranquility. The resort beautifully blends luxury with nature. Our overwater villa was impeccably clean and spacious, featuring a private plunge pool and direct lagoon access. The fully stocked bar offered an impressive selection of high-quality wines, champagnes, and liquors, setting it apart as the best all-inclusive resort we've experienced. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Special thanks to Shuhad, our butler, who ensured every detail was perfect; Samrat, our bartender, who crafted delicious cocktails; and Naushad, our housekeeper, who kept our villa immaculate. Every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The dining experience was outstanding, with meals that could rival any NYC restaurant. The underwater restaurant was a highlight, offering magical views of sea life. Activities included thrilling snorkeling, a romantic sunset cruise, and a fun sunset fishing cruise. The world-class spa was the perfect way to unwind. Interestingly, we usually avoid returning to places, but Ozen Mahdoo is the first place we’re considering revisiting to see the friends we made. We’ll likely spend a few nights here and then explore elsewhere. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking the ultimate tropical escape!

Moment we booked, the staff replied to my emails & provided information quickly. When we arrived at the airport, someone was there waiting to receive us and take us on the boat to the hotel. The boat was very nice too. When we arrived at the hotel, there were more staff members there who greeted us at the jetty & we sat on the buggy carts and Baari took us to our room. I am not sure if some of the procedures have changed a bit due to covid. But it was nice not to go to reservations office for check in but instead be taken directly to our room with all explanations about the resort given during our ride. When we got to our room, our luggage was already there. Our water villa with pool was soo amazing!! I think it’s worth getting a room with a pool. The pool size is so big compared to other hotels and the room also has a the overwater hammocks! The bathroom is massive with a nice tub & separate shower both with an amazing view, especially during sunset. Food at hotel was great! We had a set menu for the day with few options to pick from. Everyday there is a different menu, so you’re never going to get bored of the food. You’ll also get dessert during lunch and dinner. Who doesn’t love dessert! There are plenty of activities to do, to name a few: snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, jet ski, etc Overall this resort, has so much to offer compared to alot of other places we were looking at, and it check marked every aspect of what we were looking for. Highly recommend OZEN!

We have felt like a king and queen from the second we touched the island. The personnel was extremely friendly, always there for you, professional and also fun. The food is a dream, always fresh and tasty. The selection was big and switching every evening to a different restaurant was very exciting. The reservations have always worked, never we got disappointed. The massages were fantastic, we also had couple-massages, I can recommend this to any couple! The island was always very clean, other hotel guests were also nice, we didn't see any shocking situations with guests of different nationalities not knowing how to behave. We also did a few sports activities and the staff was always so friendly explaining us how to use it. Out water villa with pool was sensational, we were very surprised that the pool had sweet water and not salt water (what we personally prefer). Also the bath tub was very special, the tub has a heating inside, so when you sit inside it is warm and if you come home after a long night and the staff has again prepared a bath-tub-surprise for us, the water was still warm!!! They have always decorated our bedroom or bathroom with special flowers and made different animals out of the towels, so it was always an exciting moment to step into the villa again and see the new surprise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I love and want to have a perfect vacation with no stress whatsoever. For us this hotel gets 10 out of 10 points.

Paradise on earth would be an understatement, this was truly one of our best vacations so far. We went there to celebrate our 25th anniversary and what a celebration it was. The staff from start to finish were amazing, especially our butler Ayush who was great and arranged an great itinerary during our stay. He was always available for us, if we needed anything. All staff were so friendly and felt really welcoming. We stayed in a over water villa with pool which was exceptional, especially with the pool which gave an infinity feeling with the ocean in front. The food was also of a high standard, with great presentation and tasted amazing. Although we went in their apparent rainy seasons, our 5 days were all glorious sunshine but not too hot. The sandy white beach and crystal clear blue water was one of dreams. There were also excursion which were included such as snorkelling and fishing trips which were also really fun and enjoyable. Definitely will be visiting again.

Veel variatie. Echt een intercontinentaal ontbijt Big kingsize bed, we could sleep with our 2 children on the bed, so in total 4 man could sleep on the bed. The room was very spacious, we had a villa with private pool and my parents had a deluxe room with island view. Both spacious rooms, the service was very good. All the staff were helpfull and nice. The buggy did helped my dad many times, because he could not walk far from the room to the restaurants. It is a big resort with al kind of things, like spa, kidzone with a bunch of kids activities, great restaurants and a medical clinic. My dad fell and we went to the clinic and they helped him so much with good care and bandaged the wounds. The doctor and the nurse Neelima werd very helpfull and kind. The chef of the restaurant ChopstiX Prafulla was so good in his work, what a good cook. Also the lady from ChopstiX Mita is such a sweet employee. She talk with the whole family and offer children something sweet like a piece of cake, my children loved that so much. The rooms were very good and clean. The bathroom in our villa was so great and big. We had a shower, a bathtub and 2 sinks so great and calming environment. Love it!!More

Lovely stay at the Sheraton. Our family of 8 stayed in the beach front cottages. Boat ride included that was ontime and only 10 to 15 minutes away. Amazing views with great proximity to the restaurants and pool. Food was excellent! Breakfast every day had a wonderful variety of items while lunch was by the pool / beach and dinner was capped off at the Thai and Indian restaurant.

The resort is perfect and the staff are just the best! We loved our stay in the Ocean Pool Villa. FYI the pool does become 99% private once your in it as the foliage in front covers the view.

Location : This is one of the nearest island to the Airport making it just a 15minute hop across and back The beaches on the *lee-side ( *sheltered from the wind) are safe and easy to swim off which is good if aren't a strong swimmer. We love the dining options . There are lots of restaurants offering different cuisines . Bahn Thai ( excellent ), Indian, Chopstix Chinese ,Sea Salt :International Italian style seafood and pasta : The anchorage offers regular bar food inclusive of pasta , pizza , salads etc.. Plus if you like there is Feast the main dining venue that does various theme buffets each evening. a special mention for three staff would made our stay even better : Shafeeg made our days by the pool very comfortable and gave great service Wanida in the Anchorage Bar , exceptional friendly and good service Philllan ( spelt something like this ) the head waitress in Baan Thai one of best restaurant staff we have ever had the pleasure of being served by. Finally we stayed in water bungalow (without a pool) we found this an excellent choice.

The Room was comfortable with a view of the beach and you could go to the beach from the room which was an added bonus. The rooms were clean and comfortable though an upgrade to the facilities especially to the coffee machine would be welcome. The washroom was clean, new and had a separate shower and a tub. The resort has seven restaurants on site and has good food catering to various tastes like Indian to the Anchorage bar which serves Mediterranean. Since I was travelling with family, I spent a lot of time at the pool. The pool facilities are awesome. All in all it it is a nice and comfortable place to visit. The staff is very helpful and courteous and goes out of their way to accommodate individual requests. From Ayla at the Disembarkation area who gives you a detailed description about the resort and its facilities to Abul who is always there to drive you around all in all it was a good holiday.

Very spacious island villas with 2 terraces and private pool each. Very various and tasty food.

When I visited the Hotel I was greeted with friendly smiles by a wonderful girl named Tharaka (Sri Lankan) who gave us a good explanation on the available activities and facilities. Also she upgraded our room from 'Water Villa with Private Pool' to 'Escape Water Villa with Private Pool'. We (family with 3 year old kid) stayed there for 5 days (4 Nights) had a wonderful time. As I went for my Anniversary she arranged us a special night for me and my wife.

Perfect Location. Perfect room sizes. Options of enjoying luxury of having Private Beach, Private Pool, and a Jaccuzi all together is the USP of this place. The indian vegetarian cusine option in the dinner buffet was cherry on the top. Check out the property's pictures, and you will fall in love with it. My family had a great time.

I stayed in island room that facing the beach with private pool. It was super spacious with privacy and very easy beach access. Also we tried villa over the water in Coco Residence, with separated sitting area, private pool, outdoor sitting area, closet, full bathroom and bedroom. Regarding dining there are great variety of restaurants Aqua for seafood, international over the water Star restaurant, Sushi Bar and for mean dining area Air restaurant which you will definitely love it with outstanding variety along with good quality selections. furthermore, chef is willing to satisfy you if you have something in your mind that is not displayed in their everyday different menu. Excursion and water sport activity are available.

Everything. The island is natural and beautiful. We stayed in a water villa. The sea is so turquoise blue and you can enjoy the fishes from the sundeck. The room is spacious with everything you need and they can fill up the minibar to your liking. On arrival there is a real French Champaign and fresh macarons waiting for you. The bathroom is beautiful and the sundeck has a swing, two loungers and a table with four seats. There is also a nice plunge pool to cool off if you want too. The breakfast has a lot of choice and the staff will prepare something for you if it is not there. The restaurant’s are all good with different food options. I can really recommend the Maldivian fish curry. The staff is really nice and very helpful in general. We had Rafu and Achmed as our guest relation officer. They were really nice and helpful. They book the restaurants for us and made sure we had everything we need.

Been there for our Honeymoon in November 2024 - best Hotel/Resort we have ever stayed. Our Sunset Overwater Villa with Pool was amazing, it had picturesque views over the ocean. We‘ve spotted dolphins swimming by right from our sunbeds. The house reef is fantastic, lots of opportunities for water sports or you can just relax by the pools and enjoy a massage. The food was delicious across all 4 restaurants. The staff is super friendly and makes you have just a perfect stay. Will definitely come back to celebrate our anniversary! Best wishes from Vienna

The Island: I have visited many resorts and islands, this one is fantastic. The Resort: little bit old and needs refurbishment. However, the facilities are beautiful : the infinity pool, the tennis court, the football court, cinema room, gym, etc. The Staff: amazing all of them. Special thanks to Hajar and the management for the upgrade. Big thanks to Chef Moussa and his team as the Food is amazing. It’s all a la carte but you will eat very well. Delicious cuisine and excellent service. Special thanks to Mohamed, Nizam, Aiman, Ismail, Semba… The Beach Villa is awesome and I recommend trying the Ocean 2 Bedrooms villa! It’s just stunning with the sunset and sunrise. The infinity pool and the facilities are fantastic. Snorkeling in the area is pure happiness.

We spent our fall break vacation at JA Manafaru and it was (again) FANTASTIC! It was our third time on this as a family. Our kids are 8 and 10 years by now. My husband and I spend our honeymoon on Manafaru back in 2008. Our stay was great in 2008 and it has been even better in the past last years! As always we stayed in the Deluxe Beach Villa with family pool. For the last two nights of our stay we had the opportunity to stay in the marvelous and breathtaking Ocean Residence. For the first time we have had the chance to have the best of both worlds - beach & ocean. Just great! The new management made a few changes on the island: there are only a few more chickens running around - the rest is in the most beautiful chicken farm I’ve ever seen: They’ve called it „Cluckingham Palace“. It’s in the middle of the island but guests are welcome to visit and have a look at it. There are also plans for a new bar and another restaurant. Most probably it will be opened by the time we come back again in Februar 2024. Also new: Kids Club Care: Seema and Lyn were really great playing and crafting with our daughter! Our daughter just loved everything in the kids club especially the Halloween program. Again a big big big thank you to the outstanding and friendly staff and of course F&B!!! Great spacious villa with huge bathtub and backyard pool.

The best vacation ever!!! In every aspect! This is an absolutely amazing place with the most stunning clear sea water we’ve ever seen. Our villa on the water was one of a kind. Everything was so comfortable and pampering to the last detail. Perfection, nothing less! I would definitely recommend the water villa with a private pool. It’s worth every dollar!! Especially I want to commend the welcoming and warm staff and above all Hisam, our villa host who’s done his utmost to meet our needs and requests. And made us really feel we are the only guest on the island. I’d also like to mention the delicious food in all the restaurants of the resort and they even cooked for us again one of the dishes we loved (Thank you chef Karime). This was a dream! I really cannot even begin to describe the feeling we had waking every morning into this beautiful turquoise water... dipping in our private pool in the morning with the infinite ocean to our feet.. then snorkeling in the sea among beautiful fish and so on and on... Don’t miss this experience!

We have been on many trips around the world. The Baros Maldives trips is hands down the greatest trip. I think the beauty of the place is found in the size of the place and the services. The island is not huge and sprawling. Therefore, everything is at your fingertips. Want a massage? Walk 2 minutes over here. Want a GOOD bite to eat? Walk 3 minutes over here. Want a drink, a smoke, and to play some billiards? Walk 3 minutes here. Want to snorkel on a reef that other visitors on other islands have to travel an hour to do? Walk 5 minutes over here. They have their own house reef (which is rare in Maldives) with every possible marine animal you can imagine. Tons of colorful fish, colorful corals, sharks (do not worry they are not bad), rays, lobsters, turtles…a lot. Want to just chill in a pool? Well you probably have one in your villa, so walk 10 seconds to it. Or walk 3 minutes to the infinity pool. All of this is at your hands, so there is no wasted time. Instead of trying to figure out where you are going, you are already there enjoying. You cannot put a price on time, and this resort is a time-saver. The best vacation, and we have visited 30 countries. Shout out to our butler Reema, and attendant Shah. They were the best. Yes, you have a butler and attendant 24/7. Did I forget to mention that?

It is very nice resort in a small island. You can slowly walk around the island within 15-20 minutes. I tried both Baros Pool Villa and Water Pool Villa, and they were all very beautiful and comfortable. However, their dishes were not tasted as expected, and price were a bit expensive. Also, pay attention with bugs around the island.

Luxury traveller, have stayed at 3 big name 5 star resorts in Maldives. Was sceptical about booking this hotel as hotels.com had overwater bungalow, apparently with pool, for half the price of a beach bungalow at other places...it seemed too good to be true (I did book only 5 days prior to stay..) But I had read that the house reef was about the best in Maldives and I am a diver, and I could use my $500 hotels.com free night voucher, I went for it. I only had 1 night after a dive boat trip, but it was perfect. The overwater bunglaow was exactly that, the villa had the little 5* extras (flipflops, beach bag, raincoat, evian spray to keep), complimentary snack and bottle of wine - huge value in this country! I disagree with reviewer from Sept 2018 stay, it matched anything I've seen. Agree, no bikes but the island isnt that big. The rest of the complaints seemed to be about price - I got what an unbelievable deal at last minute so cannot comment. I do see the prices for 3 weeks time are back up to comparable to other. House reef AMAZING, I snorkelled for hours with hawkbill turtles, chased reef sharks, did a night dive. This is absolutely the resort for you if you love snorkelling. The Wifi was good, the buffet breakfast extensive (marlin sashimi!), but also with a la carte eggs/meat etc. Room service menu very expensive but if you got a breakfast/dinner package? Just confirm the transfer costs...hotels.com fineprint says US$238 return, I would get an email.

This was our first stay in Maldives. After days of researches and reading reviews on TripAdvisor, our friend recommended us Baros and we were not disappointed by our choice. The staff is absolutely amazing, they meet your every needs. They are extremely attentif and friendly. We have food intolerances (gluten and lactose which limits a lot ) and in all restaurants and at all time, our food requirements were meet with extreme caution and with delight. The chef came several times to talk to us and even made special dishes only for us. Everything was supper Yummy and fresh. The hotel has a beautiful house reef where we were able to snorkel every day around with no difficulties. It was a delight to discover the species and colorful fishes. The room are spacious, clean and are very comfortable with beautiful wood details. We stayed at a beach villa with a pool and it truly felt like being home. We did a lot of activities on the island from fishing, local island discovery, dolphin watching, night snorkeling and all were great. After one week at Baros, we extend another week because we really enjoyed our time there. I truly recommend this hotel.

The sunset villa with a private pool, good food, and the all-inclusive package. Eats and beats stood out as any excellent dining option with exceptional food, drinks, and staff. Excellent housekeeping services.

The location was a perfect getaway for a relaxing holiday, we enjoyed the comforts of our beautiful sunset villa with private pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional specially the Executive Chef Brandi, Prasad and the culinary staff went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our food, specially our young daughter. Chamara and the f & b team also made us feel homely and took a good care throughout our stay. Thank you all so much !

A resort with a wide variety of activities for everyone. Perfect for families – free access to pedal boats, paddleboards, kayaks, and more. The Vibe Club with its pool, billiards and table football is great fun, and the kids’ club is absolutely fantastic – every day offers a new program including water sports and beach cinema evenings. It’s led by Ms. Anjo, whom all the children adore – she’s simply wonderful. There’s also a nice playground for the little ones. For couples and adults, there are kids-free zones and an adults-only pool, an excellent PADI diving center with great instructors (offering courses including the “Bubble Maker” program for children aged 8+), and a lovely wellness & spa. The resort offers a wide range of daily and evening activities, as well as excursions – some included in the stay, others available for an extra fee – such as snorkeling with manta rays and whale sharks, dolphin safaris, and more. All trips are organized in small groups with very professional and attentive guides. The island itself is relatively small, lush, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a smart and logical layout. It features a stunning house reef that surrounds the entire island (complete snorkeling equipment is available free of charge for the whole stay). The overall atmosphere is peaceful and friendly. The staff are genuinely caring and attentive – we were looked after by Nada and Shah at reception, who answered all our questions and arranged everything we needed.

Second trip to Lily beach, 6th to Maldives. Easily the best resort we've been to in terms of food & drinks, quality of the reef, and above all the staff. Our waiter Hussain was very attentive, and Laurent the manager checked up on us several times to make sure we were happy (always were!). We were in one of the water villas, which frankly was starting to look a little frayed around the edges, but didn't detract from our stay. The rest of the island including the restaurants and pools are superbly maintained, luxurious yet somehow being relaxing and casual. We generally ate breakfast and dinner at the main buffet restaurant and lunched at one of the pools. Food and service exemplary at all. Didn't go diving this time as my daughter had an ear infection, but did a night snorkelling trip which was well worth it. mostly snorkelled round the reef with its abundant sea life. We were last at Lily Beach 10 years ago, been to a few other Maldives resorts in the meantime but none of them came close to Lily's levels of service, food and reef.

I loved the resort ,all of the services were get from island is amazing,all the restaurants were great,I love vibes, beef steak very good,pools are good condition,aqua have infinity pool,staffs were nice,especially Anas and shifau,Gloria,will come back as soon as possible

Food is good, fresh and hot. wide variety but ice cream always melt. Aqua service impressive. should allow usage of water bubble if the pool has little people (now banned to use even no people inside pool)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lily Beach Resort in the Maldives. From start to finish, it was the perfect family getaway. We loved spending time at Vibes, where we enjoyed hours of fun playing pool, table tennis, foosball, darts, and board games together. We also made great use of the AstroTurf, where we football as a family. It was such fun watching the staff play each evening and then having the chance to join in ourselves! The evening shark feeding quickly became a highlight of our stay — our children insisted on watching it every single night. The food was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed Lily Maa, which offered an impressive buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a wonderful variety of fresh and delicious dishes. We also dined at Tamarind one evening and loved the exquisite Thai and Indian menu. The food was excellent, and the relaxed, intimate atmosphere made it a memorable dining experience. The staff were exceptional — so kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made our stay special. And of course, the crystal-clear water surrounding the island was absolutely breathtaking. The snorkelling right off our balcony was some of the best we’ve ever experienced. We highly recommend booking a Lagoon Villa or overwater villa to take advantage of the easy access to snorkeling — it was fantastic in every way. Thank you, Lily Beach, for an unforgettable holiday. We can’t wait to return one day!

The swim up bar was great, the staff very friendly, all of the buffets and restaurants delicious. I cannot speak more highly of this place

had a great experience at hard rock maldives. good food, good place, good views. my kids love the overwater villa with private pool. price are affordable to. Thanks to great service from staff Omaima for arranging a late check out for me too.

I only stayed one night at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, but it completely blew me away! From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth — quick check-in, cold welcome drink, and warm smiles everywhere. The vibe of the resort is amazing — upbeat and stylish, but still super relaxing. My villa was gorgeous with the private pool and the private beach. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. I loved the mix of fun and luxury — great music, beautiful pool, delicious food, and friendly staff who really make you feel special. The live band at night was such a nice touch! Even though I only had one night, it was pure perfection. I’ll definitely be coming back for a longer stay next time. Highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our few days of holiday at the Hard Rock. We stayed as a family in the duplex beach unit with private pool. All facilities were clean although some of the layouts in the room itself were a little odd. However the quirky layout was more than overcome by the excellent service from all Band Members (hotel staff), especially Chinny who was our personal guest service support. She was warm, great with the kids and exceptionally efficient in ensuring our stay was extremely comfortable. We loved every moment of the stay and really enjoyed the amenities: beach, pool, tons of restaurants, hard rock cafe band especially the Sunday band. Will be back!

We went to hard rock we had Villa 198 it was with a private pool. One of the best experiences ever. I would like to say thanks to the hotel team special thanks to Omy she explained to us everything and took us in a tour twice. Very welcoming person I suggest everyone to ask her to assist them during their stay she speaks Arabic. Overall the restaurants were good the Hard Rock Cafe had the best shrimps in starters and chicken wings the fries and burger were good. The Indian restaurant was good and Terra Mar was not really good for me but they have variaty of food. It was very quite the Villa no noise around which satisfied me and it was clean we only had an issue with a little lizard but they sprayed the medicine after that and did their best to apologize from us .. because this is normal in a place that is surrounded by trees. The value of money was good not too expensive but for a family group it will be expensive. Overall the atmosphere was cool and I loved my experience. Thanks

The RIU palace in the Maldives is an excellent setup. The accommodation, the beach, the food and the bars, particularly the swim-up bar were quite extraordinary. We had a terrific time for the entire week from the snorkelling and walks along the beach to the evening cocktails and live music before dinner. Truly a marvellous experience!

it is an amazing place… most impressive was the arrival, to see this beautiful water and the White House’s.. you have to know, that there is a Shop were you can get some souvenirs and usual things like creams for the sun, Red Bull, chips and other snacks the other Atoll which is 4* had all the events held there. it also is a very nice staying place. the most difference from the 4* and 5* are: 5* is the main restaurant so it is closer. also is the 5* calmer and there are less people on the island 4* is more for younger people I would say, because of the events and there is also the sports place, gym, sports bar + both had a pool and a pool bar + both had amazing beach spots + both were very clean in all facilities the arrangement for arrival and departure was perfect, they took all the work for you and you couldn’t go „lost“ food: everyday and every time the food was different and not boring or same things. so there’s food for everyone. I’m very picky so I had every time something to eat.

Unbelievable color of water , big variety of foods in restaurant with Maldivian Food corner to visit (be careful not all have good taste :p ) , Staff are very friendly especially the guy that bring you from water villa to the island !! The water villa with pool is very spacious and comfortable , we much enjoyed the floating breakfast in the pool .

Went SOLO to get away from the city and cold weather and this is what I made of it: Staff: They are always extremely useful and kind. You will feel the respect and the love they give you. Facilities: Buffet restaurant is exceptional with unlimited choices of food. The gym is fine for someone that just wants to work out a little bit while on vacations. Note that it does not have a barbell. I didn't swim much in the pool but it's very beautiful and fun. The room is minimalistic and I loved it. It was also very nice waking up to the beach view. Cleanliness: The cleaners did an amazing job and your room smells extra nice after they clean it. :slight_smile: Comfort: Not much to say about this, it's obvious I was at my most comfortable stay there lol. Value for money: I'd say this experience is priceless and this is probably the most value for money resort in the Maldives. The cost is lower than the majority but it offers more than other resorts. (don't forget it's All Inclusive) Food: I can't stress enough how amazing and healthy the food was. You can eat whatever you like whether your on a diet or not you can find everything there. Make sure to thank the chefs for their amazing job. Extra: Transport from airport was smooth, the scenery was unbelievable. Everything is thought out by the staff and all goes according to clock work. Also I loved the jet ski activities and the instructors were very nice and cool dudes.

Riu Palace Maldives is a beautiful resort! Everything was perfect, I can't fault it. The staff were always so so friendly, nothing was too much bother for them. They took the time to learn our names, always smiling and saying hello. Having access to both of the resorts (Riu Palace & Riu Atoll) was great, because it gave you the choice to enjoy a more lively pool/ bar area, with activities, and more nightlife, or have a quieter, more relaxed time with less people. For what is a small island overall, there are a number of restaurants to choose from - the Japanese being our favourite. The buffets always had plenty of options, especially for fussy eaters like myself. The scenery, the marine life you see every day, the beach area was so beautiful and it was an amazing destination for our honeymoon! We stayed in an overwater villa - which had great amenities (sun loungers, outdoor bath, outdoor bed, steps to the ocean etc) great A/C, mini bar with optics etc.
