What a beautiful hotel. The facilities were excellent ,bed was huge ( took pictures after I had a nap 🤣). Blackout curtains mean you sleep well even with sun. The shower was very good water pressure and hairdryer was a good quality. Even the iron worked well. The attention to detail was really nice in the room just a shame it was early on the season as pool on the roof was not open

I loved everything about this property , It was close to everythinggggg , Gelt extremely safe as a black female solo travelling . Khyam was really helpful with taking my bags in my room after i checked in ,The pool was amazing the sauna was good i had free breakfast included the variety of food was amazing , They had fab omlettes everything was grreat would definitely come back again

the location was perfect for us. Close to Mgarr and a short bus trip to Victoria. We stayed in the rooftop room with its own plunge pool - perfect after a day walking around the coast. The food in the hotel restaurant was great and there are good restaurants nearby in Qala and in Mgarr.

What a fantastic little place, food was unreal and the private pool in room 10. No door on the bathroom as the room is totally open planned, not for everyone but it's closed away from the bed should anyone have any emergencies 🤣

Fabulously comfortable hotel with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. We were given great advice about where to swim, where to eat and how best to access different sightseeing locations. The private pool was a delight and made our stay unforgettable. Watching the sunset from the pool was a highlight of our awesome trip to Malta.

We had an amazing stay at Villa dei Venti! Everything was perfect — from the super friendly staff to the room and facilities. We booked the room with a private pool and zero regrets. Huge terrace with two loungers, a small pool, lounge area, umbrella — perfect for relaxing. The room was fully equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t have breakfast included, but twice we tried the à la carte menu — excellent both times. They also provided special towels for the pool, which was a nice touch. The only (very small) downside: the bathroom door is more of a thin sliding screen. If you’re in the early stages of a relationship... let’s just say it doesn’t leave much to the imagination. Other than that — would absolutely stay again!

The property was very spacious and reasonable for a holiday accommodation. The location although in a quite part of Malta was accessible and safe and we got about well with the public transport or taxi depending on what we fancied. The pool and surrounding area was well used by the kids and was popular for soaking up the sun.

The addition of the pool and associated facilities on the roof is a masterstroke. Made it easy to entertain the kids on days we were just chilling at the apartment.

Cheap fruit and vegetables market just literally 2 minutes away up the street. Nice pool and outdoor seating area. Kitchen was clean and had all utensils/equipment required. Quick replies by host if need to ask any information. Good wifi signal.

The buffet breakfasts were delicious and abundant -and the best value for money, tottally worth it! I also enjoyed the pool in the evenings - great way to cool down after a hot day. The location was very close to the city centre but in quiet neighborhood, so the sleep was not disturbed. Julia is always there for you, whatever you need, whether its a bike or a piece of advice on sightseeing. The house is run in environmentally-friendly way. Loved my stay. Thank you Julia!

Fabulous accomodation, excellent location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Victoria. Clean, large room that had everything we needed, wardrobe, kettle, fridge etc. Self check in was very smooth and easy. All instructions were very clear and easy to understand. The pool area was lovely and plenty of amenities if required, honesty box for snacks and drinks etc. Victoria is the best town to base yourself while on Gozo as you can get a bus to anywhere on the island!

Ideal location, good sized room, comfortable bed, beautiful pool, nice rooftop terrace and very friendly and helpful host. Wifi in the room is good. Shower is not large but water pressure is very good just as the temperature. Room has a fridge and kettle with coffee and tea. Plates and cutlery are also provided. Good value for money. Would definately recommend.

The hosts were so helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. The location is perfect within walking distance to the centre, the pool was so nice, we used it every evening! The room was a good size and the air conditioning was really effective.

We would definitely come back and the accommodation was worth what we paid. The hosts were very accommodating as we had a very late flight, which was delayed, however everything was ready for us when we arrived. The food platters are excellent!

The property is lovely and very well situated, 10 minute drive from rabat. The property itself comes with a garage for easy parking which interlinks to the terrace where the pool and BBQ area are situated. On the same floor there is the Living/Kitchen/dining. And the bedrooms are upstairs. We will definitely return. The only minor issue that for summer time the pool is abit small .

We enjoyed the pool and the surrounding area was quiet and beautiful. Lovely views from the balconies. Big enough pool for our children but we had the four bedroom villa. Very spacious property.

Excellent accommodation - lovely house, well renovated, all that is needed is present. Lovely pool- although it was still too cool to use it - nice veranda next to it to sit in the sun. Lovely jacuzzi - took a while though to get it warm - switch on at least 3 hours before you want to use it including bubbles for the last hour as otherwise gets immediately cold again. Kitchen has all utensils needed but no coffee maker - we brought a caffetiere (never travel without as I really need my coffee....). Super easy to communicate with Simona - she gets back really quickly and is very helpful. Easy to collect keys. Nice bathrooms, good bedrooms! Clean! Lovely location with a bus stop around the corner.

Beautiful farmhouse with an own private swimming pool and a patio with barbecue and outside seating. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was perfectly clean. Fan in each room, AC in each room, jacuzzi in the living room and a private garage to keep your car safely hidden from the sun.

Large apartment, well equipped and a pool

The city center is close enough, but the apartment is quiet. We used buses and the bus connections of the city is perfect. Shared pool is also perfect. Rooms are huge, the hall is big enough for 4 person. there are two bathroom with showers for both rooms. Small shops, welbee, restaurant, pastizzeria are also close. Nightlife, lot of different restaurants is good for various nights. I recommending.

The property was nicely located and nice for a group of girls to enjoy a weekend away. We enjoyed the pool area and the facilities the property had. Thank you!

Location is nice, green and quiet, while next to the party dstrict and not far from bus stops. Аppartment is clean, new and spacious. All necessary household appliances are included in the apartment, if you can turn it on :) Since we lived on the 0 floor it was direct acces to the swimming pool with orange and lemon garden. Singing roosters in the morning and beautiful cats on the terrace as a nice bonus).

I booked for my second 3 nights accommodation in Nawrat. I had to move to another place called Windjammer which is so nice because some maltese booked the whole villa. Tanja and Vince are consummate hosts at this beautiful, peaceful and relaxing B&B, and paid attention to every detail with warmth and generosity, giving us great recommendations on restaurants to eat at, where to go for the swim spots, and sharing with us Gozo culture and customs. On our second day, we got back from our hike around 230pm, and hadn't eaten lunch. As the restaurants/stores were closed for the afternoon, we were worried about lasting until dinner. Tanja most graciously made us hearty and delicious sandwiches with crusty bread, cheese and salad. Thank you Tanja and Vince!! Every morning we looked forward to the full and fresh breakfast spread that included everything you could think of, personalized to suit your wishes. Eggs done any way, smoothies, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, various fresh breads and pastries, cheeses and spreads... decadent!! Tanja and Vince greeted us every morning with welcoming smiles, the perfect start to every day. The ensuite room was large, clean, and airy, with everything we needed for a wonderful few days of rest and relaxation. The pool and lounge areas gave guests plenty of spaces to find a quiet corner to read or chat, and an art gallery in the front showcased interesting pieces, including Tanja's work. Thank you Tanja and Vince, for the perfect stay and your warm hospitality! Your property is an oasis for travelers' in search of a peaceful, relaxing and warm getaway.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay in Dar Ta Zeppi .The owners were exceptionally hospitable and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had wonderful breakfasts and Tanja even bought me special diary free milk and cheese to cater for my diary free diet. I especially enjoyed Vince’s home made cake in the afternoon as a treat. The pool was lovely and refreshing. The place has a nice vibe and it felt very homely . The bus stop is right outside the door as we did not have a car and the village square is delightful with some nice eateries and a little supermarket around the corner.

We loved every minute of our stay at Dar ta Zeppi. The owners Tania and Vince were so hospitable. We felt like we were taken care of by family. The house is very clean, and the pool and garden are very beautiful. The breakfast was amazing with fresh fruits, yoghurts freshly baked cakes and bread.

Everything was wonderful. Tanja and Vincent did everything to ensure our stay was perfect. From the wonderful spread for breakfast, great conversation, great recommendations and a lovely pool to swim in. If it wasn’t so far from Australia I would be booking in for next year. Thank you.

Tanja and Vince are lovely hosts and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The room was spacious and well equipped, the breakfast was amazing and offered a variety of options and most importantly our 10 month old enjoyed the pool.

The property was fabulous. Facilities, decor and cleanliness were first class. Its in an excellent location - quiet but perfectly situated with restaurants, shops and transport links nearby. We ordered groceries online from Wellbea, and also used Wolt for food deliveries when we couldn't drag ourselves away from the terrace and plunge pool. We highly recommend Northlodge, and look forward to staying here again

Access to the property was straightforward, and the entire space was incredible! My partner and I experienced the best sleep ever, and every detail in the apartment was top-notch! I can't recommend it highly enough, from the charming kitchenette to the beautiful balcony, fantastic bed, and shower! We had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Kainaat, who was delightful and guided us to an amazing city perfect for those seeking a medieval atmosphere (M'dina). It's a great place for long and long stays; few minuted walk from the sunset watch point and restaurants, bars, cafes etc. It has a lift, security door, AC, comfy beds, great coffee machine and kitchen equipment; every day cleaning was done properly. It has 3 rooms; one with balcony. Very clean and fresh property; you can feel the smell once entered. Definitely recommend to families and couples; very quiet place and easy to reach. Street park is 99% possible and available.

One of the best stays we have had so far. Beautiful and well-kept bedroom with a nice bathroom. The kitchen is big enough for cooking and eating. You feel like you're at home. The staff is very, very nice and cares about the guests. Thank you very much. That was a great experience and we'll be back.

What a gem of a place! I highly recommend it. Easy to find and easy to follow instructions through whatsapp. Very clean and everything in great working order. Pool area was clean too and the view from the pool area was great.

It's a nice building. It's clean and (mostly) well maintained. The staff were helpful enough. They helped me find the adaptor that I needed by using one from another device in the building. The pool is very well looked after and the view is nice. There is ample balcony space. It was very clean and tidy. It's walking distance from the town square.

It was vey well organized, clean, spacious, with a perfect view. The location was nice and had a good access to public buses.( Buses are not frequent, but if you check the timetable and commute based on that, you’ll be fine) It’s located in a part of island which you will see local life as well.

Quiet neighbour and walking distance to centre. Transport comes near the premises too.

The villa itself was stunning with a wide variety of rooms, loads of entertainment options and a beautiful private pool with a BBQ and pool side tiki bar with an amazing Bluetooth speaker. It is one of the most picturesque villas I have ever stayed in.

The villa is fabulous and the hosts are very attentive, met us on arrival and although we were a few hours early they were happy to let us in and show us around. The facilities are incredible, the pool, games room and accommodation are all wonderful. We had a great stay and would gladly stay again. The only slight issue we found was that the villa isn't really set out for people with young children. There are lots of (lovely) glass ornaments and vases around and the pool area doesn't have a gate so it meant we had to have eyes in the back of our head to keep our toddler away from all the temptation. Other than that the villa is exceptional and for adults it would be an amazing place to relax just be mindful if you have young kids there is an awful lot of stuff within reach that could be an issue.

Everything was just perfect. This is definitely a hidden gem and worth every penny. All of us were surprised and impressed by the villa, especially in terms of size and location. If you look at the pictures here on booking.com and already feel like it's a nice house, wait until you are there! It's just outstanding and I would always return to this place immediately. Even though we came to Malta to visit the island, we hardly wanted to leave the house and pool area, as it was so beautiful and quiet as well.

The villa was extremely spacious and was perfect for our stay. The bedrooms had great storage and the outdoor space was spectacular. Lots of different seating areas with and without shade. Lovely home stay in the heart of Victoria in Gozo, host was absolutely lovely and gave great tips about what to see in Gozo and the room was decent, comfy bed etc highlight was the pool area 😀

A perfect base for exploring Gozo! The location is absolutely spot-on — with a bus stop, a little grocery store, a greengrocer, and a bakery just steps from the front door. This charming 200-year-old house sits partly on a one-way street that’s relatively quiet (at least by Victoria's standards), but once you step inside, you’ll find yourself in a tranquil haven where the only sounds are purring cats, crowing roosters, bleating goats, and birdsong. The host is incredibly helpful, makes a fantastic morning coffee, and shares great tips on what to see and do around the island. Thank you so much — highly recommended!

The villa has a lot of space. A large group can stay. Theres a games room & kids play area. Outdoor and indoor pool as well as a jacuzzi. Terraces. Large tv. Kitchen equipped with everything like microwave, oven, hob and washing machine.

Size and space was lovely, facilties were great and clean. Pool was fantastic and all the rooms were very large and spacious. The host was always available to help with anything too.

We enjoyed a lot the villa. The play room with different games, a lot of rooms, swimming pool, terrace. Jane was amazing and attended all our needs. We would definitely repeat the experience if we go back to malta.

Had an awesome 5 night stay at this villa. Was here for a weekend trip with some of my friends as we got away from our study abroad location, Madrid. Location was walkable from the market and relatively close to many local spots. Host was incredibly helpful and responded incredibly quickly.

The farmhouse, breath taking views from the roof, the heated indoor pool that was truly better than 5 star hotels and location is very quiet yet a shop was only a corner away. Our first time Gozo Farmhouse experience and it couldn't have been better. The sparkling cleanliness of the farmhouse instantly hits you and every part of it is so relaxing and enjoyable.

The indoor heated pool underneath this farmhouse is amazing and very romantic especially for couples The central yard with BBQ facilities is very spacious and nice. All bedrooms with toilets Smart TV having all you need including Netflix. Friendly & Kind Owner with very good communication. Thumbs up and keep up the good work !!

Great Villa for a family holiday with pre-teens/teenagers . We found the Villa to be very comfortable with fantastic views . The indoor wellness area was the selling point for us for this particular holiday .The kitchen was well equipped cutlery,crockery and glasses plentiful. The air conditioning worked in every room . The bathrooms were clean and functional.But, above all else the best thing about this property are the hosts : Victoria and Pierre . The care , attention and courtesy given by Victoria was simply outstanding.

A very nice and well stocked kitchen area. We were very lucky and had no neighbours on either side for the entire week! It was a short and pretty walk to the church square with bar/restaurants and a bakery. Only a 10/15 minute walk to the breathtaking views along the cliffs and the paths to Xlendi and Mgarr.

Just got back from a week long stay in Ta peppi. Very spacious property and was perfect for our trip. The pool was nice , clean and very deep. Plenty of space outside with the table and loungers. Lovely view over to the old citadel which is lit up at night and a short drive to victoria.

Spacious and well equipped facilities perfect for our family get together wonderful location in a lovely village with great views.

Farmhouse is very clean and tidy. each bedroom has a private bathroom, amazing view beds very large and comfortable!!!

The accommodation was lovely and spacious. It also had fabulous views across the island.

We were able to find everything we were looking for, there were enough plates / glasses / kitchen utensils and amenities were in good use. Thank you for the best time of our lives!

The villa pool was lovely, with a great kitchen, plenty of space to move around. There is a lovely little beach at the bottom of the road and if you don't mind a walk you can get to a shop/supermarket in 15 minutes. There wasn't a hair dryer or iron upon a rival, I contacted the operator after a couple of days and they had a new iron delivered same day! Which was fab.

Location is excellent - the house is beautiful, the pool is large and deep enough, the bedrooms were comfortable. Very clean. The host was very helpful.

This exceptional Villa is truly a little piece of Heaven on Earth. Tranquil, the grounds are so spacious, beautifully landscaped, just magnificent. The pool was the largest we had ever stayed in. There were 7 adults and two young children, yet there was tons of space in the pool. We enjoyed the separation of the shallow and deep end. That is a really nice touch in the pool. The Villa has so much space, lovely furnishings, very comfortable beds and extra fold up beds, and a cot if needed. The bathrooms were suitable for everyone, and the separate downstairs toilet was a bonus. The children and adults loved the football table. There were many laughs whilst playing together. Having the animals on the land was just spectacular. We fed them every morning and evening, giving them all names. The children loved to collect the eggs from the chickens each day. The cats were so very friendly, my grandchildren adored them. We were very sad to leave. James, the host was very helpful, advising us when there were fiestas in the villages. Giving us advice on local resteraunts and places to go. The experience of his out of this world Villa, was the best we have ever had.

The property was beautiful. It was in the country side close to a store but away from traffic. The pool was so warm and large for 6 of us. It was so nice to walk around and visit with the animals that were on site. The inside had 5 beautiful rooms with four washrooms. Kitchen was large as well as all common areas. AC was in every room and worked great.

The property is immersed in nature and provides a peaceful refuge. The kitchen and bedrooms are all beautifully and comfortably furnished. The bath overlooking the lush countryside is as perfect as seen on photo. Our daughter loved her time with the friendly and curious animals and swimming in the large pool. It was heaven for on earth for all of us.

A perfect getaway at Ta’ Lucija! Our stay at Ta’ Lucija was absolutely fantastic! The farmhouse is stunning, offering the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. Every room is spacious and has its own private bathroom, which made our stay incredibly convenient. The large open-plan living area is perfect for relaxing together, with plenty of space for everyone to unwind. The outdoor area is just as impressive, with beautiful surroundings and a serene atmosphere that made it hard to leave. A special mention goes to Andy, the host, who was truly exceptional! He was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions or recommendations, making our experience even more enjoyable. If you’re planning a trip to Gozo, Ta’ Lucija is an amazing choice for a relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Fantastic retreat, we spent a full week, everything is in perfect condition and the host was always available for assistance. Two bedrooms have a stunning view of the citadel while another one has a view toward the Santa lucija chapel. Flawless.

The farmhouse was very well taken care of and the owner was very nice and understanding, considering we were a group of 18yr olds. Had a fabulous time and enjoyed every minute of our stay! Awguri!

We had access to all amenities but retained a quiet area which is a difficult task to nail! The host, Chris is the most helpful host I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. From the moment we booked the apartment, we were sent all local news including weather, amenities, recommendations and communication was always super speedy. I had an unfortunate incident of losing my wallet and Chris was immediately at hand to help, chasing this up with the police station and helping me to locate my wallet! The property is huge and has every comfort that you need!! Notwithstanding the size, it is really cleaned and well maintained. It has two kitchens with all the appliances, it has this amazing Swiss mind pool that was really curated. The rooms are nice and the beds and the sheets were clean. All the bathrooms (and there are fours) were deep cleaned and furnished with everything you need. They also have a gaming room with the football table game. AMAZING! The location is WOW, is right behind the newly built mercury tower where you can find a lot of shops, restaurants and bar. There is a supermarket nearby (really 1 minute walking) that is very big and has everything you need. There is a bus stop also in front of the supermarket and you can go whenever you want from there. I really recommend this property because either if you are a group of friend or a family this place is PERFECT for you. The zone in which the house is located is really quite and perfect for staying the day relaxing, however if you walk down the street there is “paceville” where there are a lot of pubs and bar.

The kitchen fully equipped.The common area is so cozy ,the swimming pool was great,they have table games, playing cards and really anything you could need to have a relaxing evening or morning with your company!The location is great near to Mercury the newly opened mall,supermarkets & Paceville where you can find a lots of disco pubs to enjoy nightlife.The management was super friendly they made us feel welcomed and help us with everything .Loved staying here!!!

Brilliant villa, it was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was perfect! Clean, neat and a beautiful spacious villa. The place was exactly as advertised. The swimming pool is beautiful and there’s plenty of shade and sunny spots outside. The host was very responsive, they help us with everything. Check in and check out were very simple and seamless. The villa is nearby restaurants, markets and clubs, you will found here everything do you want. Would highly reccomend to groups or families. We would definetely return !

We had an excellent stay over New Year’s Eve, the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. We were a group of 9, the Villa had lots of space and could easily sleep more people. The rooms are spacious, all have air conditioning and are modern. There are really good communal areas in the kitchen and in the basement where you can relax as a large family / group. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk to an amazing supermarket. Less than 5 minutes to a variety of bars and restaurants in St. Julian’s. Short 10 minute taxi to Valletta.

This beautiful villa is simply amazing. My family and I stayed here for a few nights and we absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. The place is about 20 mins to Valleta so it might be worth renting a car to get around but you can also take a bus or Uber for a reasonable price. The airport is a stone throw away from the villa so it's about 8 min ride which was very close! There are excellent facilities like pool, washing machine, few bathrooms etc. The place is very spacious and the owner has gone above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house is great and the hosts did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. It has everything required for an extended stay with comfy beds and nice big yard. The location is quiet. It is easily accessible by car and just a few minutes drive from the airport.

Everything was amazing, the property is stunning and the hosts were so helpful. The owner even drove us into town himself on our first day. If you are looking to travel to Malta this is only place you should stay! We loved it!!!! The hosts are so wonderful and friendly too.

The house overlooks a beautiful area of the Xaghra countryside. It is on the ground floor and easily accessible via a ramp and a wide gate. Inside the rooms are large, organised and welcoming. The pool area is great and can be reached via a flight of stairs. The host took care to leave handwash liquid and toilet paper in the bathrooms, as well as dishwashing liquid in the kitchen. The place was clean, and was supplied with fresh bed linen and new, good quality towels. Wifi was available in the kitchen, dining area, as well as the nearest bedrooms. Overall, it was good value for money.

We loved everything this place is the perfect spot for a peaceful and relaxing time. Location is perfect a walk and for peace and quiet. Hidden Gem as frequent visitors of Gozo this is a true perfect escape. We really didnt want our stay to end. 10/10

The farmhouse was clean and spacious and with so much character we thought we were staying in a castle. The pool was a great place to chill out after sightseeing and we often spent many hours just relaxing listing to the hum of the Cicada's . The BBQ was also a great addition to our stay . Paul our host was very helpful accommodating an earlier check in for us which was much appreciated. The whole family loved our stay here and we would hope to return again .One of the highlights was being able to spot a Chameleon that wandered into the patio area ,and also watching a spectacular thunderstorm from the upstairs balcony at night with a glass of fine local wine. The air-conditioning worked a treat and allowed us to rest at night as well after the hot days around Gozo . The local restaurants are only a few hundred yards up the road too serving excellent food making this the perfect location for us .

The hostel was perfect for a solo traveler! It's located right in the heart of everything you need—just 20 meters from the bus stop, with stores, clubs, pubs, the beach, and even the post office all nearby. Despite staying in a room with 11 other people, I didn’t experience any issues or noise. The rooftop bar is fantastic—great for meeting people from all over the world. As a guest, you get free entry, and the party doesn’t disturb the rooms at all. The place was very clean. Toilets and bathrooms were cleaned every day, and even though there were many people staying on the same floor, I never had a problem finding a free shower or toilet. The staff were incredibly helpful. I requested an extra blanket because I was cold at night, and I received one within a few hours. I also needed to extend my stay for an extra night, and they were very accommodating, helping me switch rooms smoothly. They offered great tips on the best beaches, fun activities, and the locations of nearby shops and the post office. A special highlight was the free guided tours led by Patricia—they were super fun and a great way to explore the area! I highly recommend this hostel for solo travelers and groups of friends alike.

I stayed for a month and it was the best experience I've ever had in a hostel. Even though I shared the room with 12 people, I felt like I had privacy, as there was a curtain on each bed. The locker was huge too. The hostel was always clean and smelling good. You can pay €7 and the girls will deliver your clothes clean and dry after 24 hours, which was very good. The location and vibe of the hostel are incredible, as it is excellent for meeting people and making friends. How not to mention about the people at reception, maintenance and cleaning? Lovely people and always willing to help you, with a smile on their faces. I felt extremely welcomed. Natalia, how could I forget to talk about you? I believe you are the most incredible person I met while traveling. Thank you very much for all your welcome, concern and friendship. Your work is very valuable and you develop it with mastery and lots of love. I can see it in your eyes. Thank you for all the conversations we had and your friendship.

This hostel is beautifully decorated, the wall art is outstanding. This was my second stay and i chose to extend 4 days more. The staff all working constantly, everything is clean and comfortable at al times. They have a well equipped kitchen with comfortable outdoor seating area, perfect for breakfast or lunchtime. The roof top is great any time of day or night. The evenings are enjoyable for relaxing and good music or conversation. The nights are also fun, thanks to the bar staff, excellent drinks, discounts and great music. The location is ideal, everything you need is close by or within easy reach by bus. I recommend buying the Tallinja card at the airport because it saves you so much time and money. I love the hostel free walking tours, definitely recommend; Patricia is awesome, so many wonderful sights to see and she makes it all so easy and enjoyable for everyone in the group.

Casa Royale is a fantastic boutique hotel in centre of Valletta on the Il Republica, a great location to explore Malta and it’s capital. It was exceptionally clean, easy access with a lift or stairs, it’s on the Main Street but you never feel like you’re in the centre of a bustling city. We stayed in Ruby room, which had a traditional Maltese balcony, spotlessly clean with a maid service everyday if you wish, to clean change sheets and towels etc, also 2 complimentary bottles of water a day to restock the mini fridge, regardless of whether you had room service or not, and nothing was ever a problem to sort, of which we had none as its a fantastic hotel, with faboulous staff, breakfast was great, Marina and her colleagues gave you any choice of cooked food everyday, to compliment the varied traditional continental breakfast, they spoilt us everyday!!!

The location is perfect! It’s in the heart of Valletta. Very easy to access any tourist destinations. A lot of lovely restaurants around. The hotel is in the city centre. Cooked foods is freshly cooked as you enter the breakfast room. You will be greeted with such welcoming staff of the hotel. Always smiling people. The hotel is always clean and smells nice. Very secured hotel. Room is perfect for my whole family. Comfortable big bed and even the sofa bed. Bathroom is really good size. The room is always being clean. We have been looked after very well. There was a personal touch as well when they put a balloons and happy birthday on our bed! That is for me an absolutely 5 star! They have all you need to have a memorable and relaxing holiday. I had my stay here jul 18-22 and I could say that it gage the most comfortable stay. Thanks to the staff for making our stay comfortable and with utmost quality service. I’d like to thank Marina, Maricar, Jane for an awesome and heartfelt service they gave to us. They made sure our beds are changed everyday with new sheets, provided new towels and bottled water everyday. They greeted us warmly everyday and prepared our breakfast that really filled our stomach with care and love. They are the loveliest hotel staff that I met and they felt like family! The room was very very clean, bed was so comfortable i didn’t have any difficulty to sleep and rest, the aircon and tv was fully functional. :)

One of the best stays ever in some accomodation. Let's start from the position that is in the center of the center, the room was beautiful with a big enough bathroom and a comfortable bed, equipped with everything you need. Unlike most places in Valletta, you can't feel the humidity here! The staff is sooo wonderful, friendly and helpful, the breakfast they prepare is perfect. Some people here in comments complain about music in front of restaurant downstairs, but the truth is that they finish by 10 pm, and let’s be real, who goes to bed eariler?! I will be happy to come back here in the future! :)

The staff is smiling, very polite and very helpful. They will give you a paper with instructions for everything. They will also help you with the points of interest you should see. As soon as you go up in the small elevator and enter the room, you will be in a good mood! Very well-made room with fine taste. Its cleanliness is really excellent and the daily care and refreshment impressed us. Every day it was like we were coming in for the first time. Made bed, clean towels, even replenishment of coffee and sugar, etc. On the first day, we had a problem with the water supply. After our message, it was solved in 30 minutes and we were constantly informed! There is nothing more important than immediately resolving the problems! Would we stay at this small hotel again? Definitely!

The staff is very frendly and helpful, they let us stay a bit longer in hotel since our flight was really late. The location is perfect, can be noisy since it is near popular bars and restaurants however we had no trouble falling asleep. Breakfast is served in a bar nearby and the food and staff is awesome. The room itself was also very nice, just like in the pictures, we only wished the balcony had a parcol cause the sun was very strong and there was little to no shade. Overall we had a great time and would recommend staying here.

They are welcoming people. We appreciated the way they responded to our requests. Location was great. Easy walking distance to many attractions. Very busy and interesting street at the entrance. Abundance of food choices around...including a supermarket and food court a half block away. Room was adequate for our needs and communication via whatsapp, with very courteous staff helped tremendously. Our check in was in the afternoon, and there was an area to leave our bags, which helped. Wi fi, room safe all worked well.

The property is lovely, it is a beautiful old building with high ceilings and lots of character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were two main areas that have impacted our rating of the hotel. The first is the arrangements for using the pool at the owners other venue, Xara Lodge. The pool is not always available as the venue is used for events such as weddings and therefore was closed on two full days and closed early on another two days during our stay and we also had to request to be driven to and from the pool which felt a bit uncomfortable. Therefore I would suggest this is not the hotel for you if you like to have access to a pool. We also found the breakfast arrangements chaotic and frustrating. There are the options of a continental breakfast or cooked breakfast, and all food has to be ordered through table service. We found staff often got our order wrong or that we had to be very specific about the exact items we wanted or we were served toast without butter etc and there were inconsistencies day to day in how things worked. Also the cooked breakfast menu charges per item but there were no prices for the drinks and this turned out to be very expensive for what we were served.

Excellent from start to finish - an amazing boutique hotel experience in a special place. We had room number 8 and it was fantastic with a small sitting room that had a view of the courtyard and great views off the side of the Medina. Staff were wonderful - attentive and caring without being overbearing. Breakfast was great on the alfresco area at the top of the building. The pool is located at the other property - staff will drive you there on request and pick you up when you’re ready to leave. The pool is a beautiful space with plenty of deck chairs, supplied pool towels and there is a bar for drinks.

I chose this hotel as I wanted to stay somewhere small and not in the large coastal resorts. This hotel couldn’t have been more perfect, such a beautiful hotel in a great location, easy to travel out to all the main Maltese attractions, but also in the heart of one of them in Mdina. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, the hotel owner also came and introduced himself and asked how we were enjoying our stay. The pool is not on site, but the hotel staff drop you off and pick you up anytime from the Xara Lodge pool which is only a 5min drive, and here you are greeted with fresh lemonade and food and bar are also available. The hotel is a real palace and we were treated like royalty! I would return to Malta, but only if I could stay here.

Had a brilliant poolside experience day at the Xara Lodge today. From the moment we arrived until we left the team were very attentive and friendly. A particular thank you must go to Noor, always smiling and always on hand to keep us supplied with food and drinks. The lunchtime meal was delicious, and the whole day was excellent value for money. Our only initial thought was that the fast club dance music played was inappropriate for the calm relaxed atmosphere we had come for. Noor soon fixed that too and the calm chilled Ibiza playlist selected was more in keeping. Thank you Noor and the team for making this a very special and memorable day for us!

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Xara Palace. We were offered an upgrade (paid for) the the Presidential Suite on arrival - it was 100% worth it. The space was fabulous, wonderful bathroom and lounge area. The hotel has a private, secluded feel. The pool (5mins drive) is extremely relaxing, wonderful service from Noor and Izor who drove us there each day. Would recommend a drink on the terrace if possible, the champagne trolley is fantastic. We ate in the Trattoria (definitely recommend) and explore local restaurants in Rabat too. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic hostel! I fell in love with Malta just because of this place. And to be honest I felt in love with Mark as unbelievable kind and warm-hearted and respectful person! Unfortunately I’m a man, so I cannot marriage with him😁 If think God is love, it means you never meet before Mark, because he is heaven sentured God’s angel on this planet. Absolutely safety, comfortable, 1000% clean hostel with a perfect rooms, beds, full equipped kitchen and bathrooms and such a cool terrace in the roof, that you even can not imagine it! Mark explained everything about Malta and the best and cheapest places around the hostel, gave so good recommendations for the poor guy like me where/when/how I can enjoy my few days off on this beautiful island. You never ever find even the 5* hotel better than Walter’s B&B hostel. The rating must be changed by the name of this lovely hostel because 5* aren’t enough to describe the best service of whole my 30 years of life! As a Michelin star restaurant cook I can say that in the restaurants rating this hostel 10* Michelin from the 3* possible. Really strong recommendation for you all my dear travelers!

I enjoyed my stay in Walter's B and B. The hostel was clean and well maintained (I believe the no outdoor shoes policy is a contributing factor as well). Mark, who received me, was especially helpful with info on getting out and about. He even sent me a sample itinerary. With your stay here, you need not worry about access to the town and other locations as it is located close to the bus stops. There are also restaurants and grocery shops nearby if you want to get things to make a quick meal in the kitchen. There is however a €2 fee (I think it's an environmental fee) which wasn't mentioned in the ad so you may want to bear this in mind. In all, I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it to anyone who is travelling on a budget.

The accommodation is on the cheaper end so my expectations were low but we were extremely pleasant surprised. Grace does the day to day running of the hostel and from the moment you arrive you are her valued guest. She is an extremely gracious and attentive host who loves to have a chat about your experience and provides superb advice into how to spend your Maltese visit. We had a private room and it was large with a balcony and good bathroom/shower. The bed was comfortable but we were told that if we found it too soft, we could let them know and they would take the soft mattress topper off. The location was in a good part of Gzira, just a stone's throw from the bay and Manoel Island.

The room is really nice, clean and spacious. You can tell that everything is new and well cared for. Air conditioning works very good. The bathroom is also great. The room was cleaned every day when we were out. We could really relax there after the whole day outside. The property is really well located, we were close to to the bus stops, 24h shop and to the restaurants. The property has also a nice terrace where you can chill and there is a nice kitchen that everybody can use. The host was very helpful and kind. He gave us a list of places that he recommends and was available anytime when we had some questions or needed something. We could also check in earlier!

Honestly the it was the best Hostel I ever stayed at. It is very clean, nice, calm and Mark and Grace are so friendly and welcoming. Marc's travel iternery with ideas what to do on Malta were great so I didn't had to do any research my self - just followed the suggestions and had a great time. After a long day, to chill out a bit, the roof top terrace is just the cherry on top :) If you forget to bring an adapter you can purchase it for 2€ do you don't have ro worry about this either. For me the Hostel was the perfect base to explore Malta and I really enjoyed my stay.

It was my first ever solo trip, and I must say that I am lucky i ended up in Hostel On. Thanks to staff it was a great experience. They were all friendly, helpful, and hospitable . Provided lots of information about the area, and public transport. The room was very clean, and it was cleaned daily(which I didn't expect).. Every bed has a socket on the wall and lockers under the bed (you have to get a padlock yourself) , AC was working ok, spacious private bathroom . The kitchen was cleaned frequently. There is a fridge, cooker and microwave and a shelf assigned to your room and bed. The terrace was a great place to chill in the evening. Honestly, I couldn't find anything to complain about. The area is quiet , and there are a few markets around, 10 min to lidl and bus stops nearby. 15 min walk to St Julians. Took less than 20 min from/to the airport. I recommend using bolt as it's cheaper than taxi. Special thanks to John, Juan, and Andrea! You are such lovely people !!!

Literally everything. If I could, I would rate this stay a 100 / 10 - seriously though, the staff was like none other. So sweet and friendly, hanging out with everyone in the hostel and making it truly feel like a home. Everyday a (lovely) cleaner came through the space, asking how we were and keeping everything so clean. Cute outdoor space just off the kitchen which makes for an awesome breakfast spot plus an incredible roof top for chilling and hanging out!! Location is perfect if you’d like to be central in a lively but not obnoxious city - it’s got great access to transit about 5 min walk that will take you literally anywhere you need/want to go! As a bonus, the people this hostel attracts says it all. I made some really great connections in this space and will always come back to Hostel On if I’m ever in Sliema again (fingers crossed that I will be!!) xox

Where do I start? An Indian boy who arrived in Malta with no expectations whatsoever, been blown away by how good the people I’ve met there. I became friends with everyone: be it the owner, the staff, the fellow travellers. One of them who I’ve become extremely close with “Yoran from the Netherlands, Rachael from South Africa, Claire the Australian, The Italian guy(forgot his name),Emily from the US, Pedro from Brazil to name a few and everyone who shared the place from the 19th to the 26th of July 23. Excellent location as it is stone throw away from the Sliema promenade and rocky beach. The new, recent Spanish owners Fabio, Vanessa and Rodrigo are very welcoming and accomodating. It reminds me of the jolly nature of the Spanish people. The hostel has a patio with grotto, which can be a perfect place for breakfast and snacks. It has a spacious rooftop lounge which is accessible 24 hours and has been the venue of nightly catchup and drinks with fellow travellers, plus the best view of the night sky. The place makes me feel at home. Would be back when possible.

The check in and especially the guy from reception Juan was super polite and very nice, i arrived with low battery and he even found me a charger and showed me everything, gave towels etc. The bed was comfy and it was quite good regarding cleanliness, I read some bad reviews about it but nothing was applicable, cleanliness was on point. Super good location and overall great place to stay!

The check in/check out process is very convenient, no hassle at all. There is the vending machine in the common are that is very helpful. Almost perfect and highly recommended. The location is perfect, it takes only one minute to get to the beach and to the main street. The manager was kind, friendly and very well organized - he sent the necessary information before the check-in and made sure everything went smoothly. Everything at the hostel works great, it gets cleaned every day, and the lobby downstairs is quite aesthetic and pleasant. I would definitely recommend it and come back myself.

First of all the location of the hotel was great. In the city center and very clean. The terrace changes the atmosphere of the hotel. The sea is a few steps from the hotel. Whenever you need something, Mark is there for you. My wife and I were very happy because our way led to this hotel. We will meet again one day. Many thanks to those who worked hard.

I apprecitate the warm welcome and especially Mark who was very kind and helpful as I arrived early and needed to do some work online. I don’t normally write reviews but this is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel and it’s gone down in my opinion. The staff are lovely and work very hard and the hotel has lots of good features like a huge pool, specialty restaurants and an adults only swim up bar. My main concern was the cleanliness, when I checked into my room the were old sweets in the corner of the room and crisp under the bed which shows the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Also the wasp situation hasn’t changed since the last time I was there which was 4 years ago. You cant just sit down and enjoy a drink or meal outside without millions of them around you. The outside toilets need to be cleaned more and need toilet seats or seats that fit. The outside bar had this awful smell like a zoo, not sure if it was the drains but it was awful and was there for the full 10 days. Also their needs to be air con in the theatre as it was sweltering in their whilst watching the entertainment. Apart from that it’s a lovely hotel, just needs improvements in a few areas.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well designed this resort is. There is enough variety to make sure you can spend a week or two without getting bored. The decor is modern and comfortable and there are facilities and entertainment to appeal to a variety of ages and tastes. We particularly enjoyed the Levant and Salia restaurants. We had no problem booking all the restaurants. Our sea view terrace room was wonderful and we enjoyed breakfasts scavenged from the buffet while watching the boats in the bay. The greatest strength of this place is the staff. They were all very pleasant and friendly and remarkably courteous to the few guests who got a bit rowdy round the swim up bar. One of the bar staff, Melissa, really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We saw her many places around the hotel and she was always so cheerful and welcoming. Thank you Melissa and thanks to all at db seabank.

We came as a family with a group of 30 friends. Good hotel because we know what to expect and it’s a great holiday. Donald in the sports bar is a very friendly worker so is Vishnu the cleaner and Jonathan in the snack bar. All the staff are dedicated and happy to help. Also the pool outside was very cold last year but it appeared warmer this year. The indoor pool is warm and there are now 2 children’s pools for the little ones. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are very nice (we had a family room) The food is the same same every day in the buffet and variety could be improved. There are bookable restaurants; jungle restaurant, Chinese, Lebanese, Brazilian and a la carte (although we could not get in here as always booked which was disappointing). The sports pitches are quite busy and the Laguna shopping is expensive .The animation team are good and keep you entertained .Lastly beware of the uneven tiles by the pool .

We are a family of four with children aged eight and 10. We stayed at this resort over the Christmas period and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were very attentive and helpful, everyone from reception to the serving staff and bar staff. We found the all inclusive deal was worthwhile and the food was excellent with lots of choice and different specialities every day. The on-site restaurants provided an extra layer of choice and we dined at the Oriental, Brazilian, And Jungle restaurants each of those serving in a buffet style but with specific themed food and not as busy as the main buffet diner. I would advise booking slots in those restaurants as soon as you arrive as they can book out for the whole week quite quickly. The all inclusive includes alcohol with wine and beer literally on tap. It was local Maltese wine which was pretty nice. They also had an extensive cocktail menu included, with kids mocktails. Specific labelled spirits and bottled beer were extra. The Spa facility was reasonable with treatments that were cheaper than UK. Sauna and Steam room were always available though only 6 in the sauna at a time. Gym pretty basic with 2 (squeaky) cross trainers, 2 treadmills and one recumbent cycle plus a variety of weight machines and free weights. The indoor pool was the only useable pool in winter (you can swim outdoors if you like freezing!) so could be busy but had specific adult only times- but self regulated. Pool complex will be great in summer.

We have just returned after staying for a week ,I must admit as I'm quite critical in my reviews I really couldn't find anything wrong with the hotel ,resort is kept immaculately clean rooms pool area inside hotel all cleaned daily, food was good breakfast was cooked at breakfast stations also lunch and dinner ,food was constantly rotated so it wasn't sitting getting cold ,also plenty of salads desserts etc,one criticism small children being allowed to help themselves to hot drinks from the machines also being allowed to run around unsupervised round the restaurant, one day we had to wait to get in the restaurant as it's open to non hotel guests which were given priority over hotel guests ,plenty of sunbeds and i mean plenty!pools very cold but had a heated inside pool ,themed restaurants o.k easy to book on several devices stationed round hotel went to the jungle and the Lebanese resturant booked for the Brazilian but not clear as to how it worked waiter was a bit sharp with us so we walked out,all in all a good holiday.

Myself and my partner found this hotel perfect for our needs. It's in a good location close to bars,restuarants and the beach. The rooms are basic but fine. There is a rooftop pool which could be a good sun trap. It's not as luxurious as some hotels in the area seemed but you will pay alot more for them. This was one of the cheapest with a pool that we could find. We found the staff friendly particularly the guy who was on during the day either the owner or manager. We had a lovely sea view from the small balcony. We didn't eat at hotel so can't comment on food. Overall we found this hotel a good base for exploring the island and would stay here again if we were to return to Malta.

We have just spent a week here, after reading some of the bad reviews we were in to minds weather to go a head with the booking but glad we did ! What a lovely hotel very clean reception area standard twin room with en-suite which was cleaned every day, staff very welcoming and helpful fantastic idea of having 5 different kitchens to choose your food from nice little pool area (needs a little bit of TLC) but over all a very pleasant stay,would we come back.......yes 👍

Stayed 7 nights at the end of May, for the price paid it was excellent value for money. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay after reading the reviews. The hotel is fully refurbished recently and looks new Pros: Great location between Paceville and Spinola Bay with so many bars, restaurants and grocery stores Modern and clean room, housekeeping made the beds and changed our towels daily Plenty of hot waters, soaps Free and fast WiFi Air-conditioned room that can be individually controlled Kitchenette with utensils Nice view of the bay Cons: Pool area could have been cleaner Pillows need to be replaced Sheets and towels were the low quality ones, so showed signs of wear and tear There isn’t a clothes line to dry the swimming suits If you don’t expect a luxurious apartment (you shouldn’t anyway with the price), you will find this place good value We will return if we’re back in Malta

Just what we were looking for. A reasonably priced hotel close to lots of sea front restaurants and with great access to the rest of the island. We stayed for 7 nights and our compact room had a sea view with a (small) balcony and air conditioning. Didn't use the balcony much or the pool as we were so busy enjoying exploring the sights, history and food of Malta and Gozo. The hotel is 100m from the bus stop from which you can get a bus to almost any part of the island. Be aware that the direct airport bus can take up to one and a half hours as it takes a very long route. The walk along the promenade round St Julian's bay is beautiful.

Didn’t find breakfast. Tv channels very limited English speaking. Good curry in restaurant. Pool area was still closed. Access to hotel sometimes awkward with building works in street being carried out.
