Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Manuel Antonio

Beautiful! Loved jungle walk to the beach. We loved the pools & our suite. We had a small private pool with our room just for us! Nice bars & restaurant. Golf cart service and luggage storage. The staff is very nice.

Pretty much everything - comfortable room with a nice ocean view, friendly staff, good food, nice pool, access to the beach.

Breakfast was great everyday. White face monkeys were a common site, especially at breakfast. The dinners at the restaurant were top notch and reasonably priced for a resort. Our servers Carlos, Marcos, Francella and William were are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My wife is celiac and they went above and beyond to make sure her food was safe and delicious. Our room had a private pool with a beautiful view that my kids used every day. The beach was a five minute hike from the property, quiet and beautiful!

The animals around, was more worth it than going to Manuel Antonio Park, I saw a tucano, a lizard, a sloth, monkeys everywhere… including my varanda ! Cocktails at happy hour 2 for 1. The pool is not heated, but was warm enough, during day and night. Pool and restaurant with a view. Great option of a second pool with no kids. Beautiful architecture, great food at breakfast (pancakes and eggs from scratch) and dinner. The hotel is on a hill, but a golf car took us up any time needed.

Loved staying here, the adults pools especially is really nice with a bar serving food and drinks. Having access to Biesanz beach through the hotel was a selling point to us, where we went and relaxed and swam in the mornings with not too many people. Be careful it’s a steep 10min walk down, the walk back up could be tough for someone less fit! Same goes with the grounds itself, it’s located on a very steep hill to go up to the restaurant and pool but they have golf carts to help you. Staff were really lovely. Lots of wildlife around including a big group of monkeys that came down to the pool area one night. The views from breakfast were fab.

Incredibly beautiful facilities and immaculately presented room. Every need and indulgence was catered for with diligent and friendly staff. The private pool at our villa was a real bonus, where we had daily wildlife coming to visit! A magical place to stay.

The Hotel is amazing, great design in the room, the restaurant and and the pools. It was a great stay, the pool is perfect, with monkeys just around the pool jumping (not annoying or dangerous)

Wonderful pool and poolside bar. Clean. Comfy beds. Nice outlook. Short walk to a lovely beach. Free sunscreen available at the pool is a nice touch.

The rooms and pools are beautiful, and the property is near the area’s best beaches. We appreciated that the property provided sunscreen and bug spray. The staff are all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience while we were staying at the property. We enjoyed a very good wine dinner at Arbol restaurant, and we enjoyed the drinks we ordered at poolside bars.

Everything! The design is done with incredibly good taste. The location/plot is full of wildlife. We went to 5 tours prior to our stay here to see wildlife and we saw less than what is on site (all types of monkeys, birds, sloths from close proximity, etc). The beach is also nice, black sand, but we preferred to stay at the pools. The rooms are fabulous and designed with impeccable taste. Regarding the restaurant, we often go to these elegant hotels but usually the restaurant does not stand up to the hotels. This is NOT the case for Arbol. The restaurant, Arbol, was great: breakfast, lunch and dinner, it was so good we ate all meals there! It is refined and delicious. Staff is also extremely attentive and helpful. The gym is small but sufficient for 1-2 trainings. We will definitely come back.

Shana is definitely better than the other hotel we stayed at. The playa biseanz is a wonderful beach with iguana’s and crab’s and clear water. We got a Royal jungle view with private pool - I would say the room and the bathroom were amazing but the private is outside and not connected to your room. We had to call front desk every time to turn the pool on and the lights didn't work which becomes dark to swim after sunset. The breakfast was amazing and all the facilities were provided. Overall I would say Shana is a top-class hotel and it is worth the price to stay.

This property is built into a steep hill overlooking the ocean. It is beautiful - a bit difficult to navigate getting in and out with your vehicle, but very doable. The pool area and restaurant are absolutely beautiful. The breakfast provided is amazing and if you go early (between 6 and 7) you will see the white faced monkeys trying to partake in the breakfast as well - haha! The pool has a great bar with some wonderful drinks. The mistake we made was getting there on a Monday evening not realizing the Manuel Antonio is closed on Tuesdays. You can go to the beach and shops around the park, just not go into the park on Tuesday. We did come back and enjoyed it on our last day and it is a flatter well manicured park with fantastic beaches inside the park - it is flat enough that you can tour with sandals instead of hiking shoes. If you can buy your tickets to the park online ahead of time, then you can avoid those people trying to make you pull over if you are driving to the park. There is a parking lot very close to the park and we had to just make up stories to get those people to stop bugging us about pulling over and parking. In the end we did get a space in the very close official lot and a great tour guide. The staff was very attentive and helpful with everything - however, we felt that the area that you book tours was not well organized and they didn't really help us with the questions we asked. We just embarked on our own and had a great time anyway!

Shana's location was excellent: close to a wonderful beach accessible from the property, and a short (though hilly) walk to Manuel Antonio town. Our party had two rooms with ocean views that were close together. They were, bright, clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. There are two pool areas, but we only discovered the adult pool towards the end of our stay (would have used it more.) We really enjoyed the views from the open-air restaurant and witnessed monkeys there a few times. Overall, the food selection was good and whatever we ordered was tasty. We particularly liked the breakfast buffet. A shout out to Javier, Andre, Edgar, and Lizandro for their excellent service. Be sure to catch the beautiful sunset views from the property!

Our stay was so wonderful! It was the perfect location to have easy access to beach pool and the rainforest. The staff were so helpful and kind. There was great wildlife to see right from the hotel at the right times of day! We had just a few minor recommendations- please provide a couple more bath towels, install a door sweep under the door (there was a small gap and we had a gecko roommate one night) and more hooks in the room for towels and wet items! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the jungle room with semiprivate pool that was cool and shaded.

We stayed at the Shana for a week over spring break. Everything about it was wonderful. The staff, the beach, the pool, the breakfast. we saw more wildlife on the hotel proper than we did in Manuel Antonio National Park. The monkeys were daily entertainment. There is a sloth that hangs out in a tree by the adult pool and a set of scarlet macaws that will fly in every day. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Charming hotel Small but nice pool, great decking with bar and restaurant Loved the howler monkeys in the early am Spider monkeys come onto the deck! However we stayed In the house across the hiway: private pool, great access to the beach.. but the main shower is in terrible disrepair.. the flimsy old doors come right off!

The staff were amazing. We found the food really good in the restaurant. Close to the beach and a little town with some bars and restaurants. Monkeys everyday. Nice bar and plunge pool. There are quite a few families. The Karahe bar will let you sit at their tables and chairs on the beach for free. Just be aware that their drinks are a little more expensive, in order to cover this.

This is a great location for access to Manual Antonio and the beaches, short drive to Quepos for Sportfishing etc. We got the suite with the most beds they had (3 doubles and a twin), the little kitchen, and balcony chill spot. Don't expect North Coast level 5 star bathrooms and king size beds, duh. This would be a perfect spring break room for 5 college buddies surfing and fishing for a month. Um, can I do that again, no, I'm a 55 year old father of 3. :-) There's a bar built into it that brought back great college memories. The closed door separate room with bathroom was shared by all. It's a funky layout that I immediately started redesigning, but I had to let it go. It's Costa Rica, Pura Vida, crack an Imperial and get down with your bad self. I would have made the closed door room a big old King Bed for mama and papa, and put an extra bunk bed in the other room and voila, "family suite," charge and extra $100, people will pay it. The cool off pool and restaurant are top notch and the crew is all over the parking situation, guiding you in and out of parking safely. Believe me, you don't want to drive your rental car to Manuel Antonio and the Beaches and park, especially within 2 weeks either side of Easter. Short walk to either the "private" beach with more locals or down the road to the Manuel Antonio shops and beaches. The plumbing and hot water are serviceable, a little tricky to keep it the right temp, but you're in Costa Rica remember? Pura Vida!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Pictures don't do it justice. Its much nicer in person. Its the perfect jungle / beach hotel. Literally! I extended my stay by 3 more nights and didn't want to leave! It was really great. The rooms are big, clean and comfy. Quiet area in the jungle with monkeys everyday. Just a short 5 min walk to the beach and 10 mins to the park. The restaurant is open al day long and the pool is the perfect size and refreshing. Staff were great. Everything is great! Im a pretty picky person when it comes to my hotels but I would highly recommend and would stay again!

Had a great 5 night stay at the Jungle Beach. During our stay, we saw white-face monkeys, squirrel monkeys, and howler monkeys (yes, they are loud and will wake you up bright and early if you are a light sleeper), as well as deer and macaws. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the national park. The hotel bar and restaurant were great. We got breakfast, lunch, and dinner there as well as happy hour drinks. The pool is small, but a good to dip your feet in. Great option for the value.

The views were stunning! Beautiful infinity pool and the condo had everything you would need. Cute condo and so quiet. We saw a monkey and a toucan at the pool. Nathalie was an awesome hostess and made us feel so welcome. The directions to the condo were excellent. We will go back. 😎

The standard of this property is very high!! Nathalie is very responsive and helpful answering any questions and offering advice on things to do. We ended up driving to the accommodation later than planned so arrived in the dark. This was pretty cool as we got to see the apartment and be amazed, then the next morning we were able to see the amazing views out across the rainforest, the view from the infinity pool is very special. During our stay we saw Toucans and lizards in the tree by the pool. I would certainly stay here again if I ever make it back to Costa Rica.

We chose the smaller studio, which is a bit hard to spot in the pictures (Casa Jungle), but it’s difficult to put into words just how great it was. Over the past month, we’ve been traveling along the Costa Rican coast and stayed in over 20 accommodations, but this one is by far the best. It features a fully equipped kitchen, a king-size bed, and an epic view. The pool is the cherry on top, but overall, this spot is absolutely worth traveling for.

One of the most beautiful locations we’ve ever stayed in. Great utensils in the kitchen and all towels/sheets smelt lovely. We saw squirrel monkeys from our kitchen window and I don’t think we’ve ever swam in a pool with better views, completely immersed in the wildlife. Wilbert was a fantastic help and our stay would not have been the same without him.

This place is simply amazing. I wish we could stay longer. Such a peaceful and calm environment, well maintained gardens, fantastic pool. So much wildlife- we could hear hundreds of birds all the time. Good restaurants and beaches just a few minutes away. The communication was also so easy. Wilbert has been amazing, very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back one day.

Its about a four minute drive from downtown Quepos, maybe 1.5 kilometers away, but its worth the walk or drive. The family who runs this place are so kind and full of information to make your time in Manuel Antonio/Quepos enjoyable. We stayed in one of the tree houses (mini Houses) and absolutely loved it. My 10 year old son wanted to stay there for more time, but we had to go back home. The room was very clean, and comfortable bedding. They had hammocks to lay in, hammock chairs to rest in, tables to eat at, a kitchen to cook in, and we always looked forward to our conversations with the owners, who spoke both English and Spanish. They had chickens, parrots, dogs, and cats there, which made it feel like being on a small farm, and we loved it. I would highly recommend this place. and will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in CR. My sonm said he felt like we were leaving family when we had to depart.

Wonderful hospitality and great local environment! We stayed in the room on the second floor with 2 beds (enough for 3 people) and had birds and even a non-poisonous snake outside our window! Jorge was the best host, always there with help or advice when you wanted, but definitely gave you your own space. The communal kitchen area was well kept and cleaned, and had everything we needed to make breakfast and snacks. The hammock and sitting areas were great in the morning and evening (during the afternoon the outdoors areas got a bit warm to relax).

Very friendly owners - gave great recommendations and always available to chat. Tea and coffee and fruit for a free breakfast. Very clean and nicely presented rooms. The drive to Quepos is very short and you can find lots of good restaurants there. Safe and quiet area of the town. They have lots of cute and friendly dogs. If you drive there they have gated and convenient parking Good wifi

Jorge and Pamela were wonderful hosts and extremely accommodating. The property was lovely and kept extremely clean. Shared kitchen and lounging area. Able to cook meals on the propert saved a lot of money. Easy to walk to downtown Quepos and catch a taxi or bus to Manuel Antonio. Very friendly dogs on the property. All around amazing experience.

A great place to stay if you are looking for a laid back, rustic location with for cute wooden cabins with all the facilities you would expect for a great stay! The host, Jorge, is very friendly and communicative and also helps suggest places to visit and to eat at.

A historic spot: well decorated, rustic, clean, safe. Centrally located - we rented from Mango Scoot and went all over Quepos/MA from here. Extremely helpful and friendly staff (shoutout to Stephen/Steven he is my amigo now!!!) The other guests ranged from reserved/quiet to friendly. A true gem on edge of jungle. Pool was awesome. Attached restaurant was so good, went back for a second meal. The shared kitchen was an active place, easy to use. Loved our private room with private bathroom and ocean view - could see a ship anchored in the harbor. Truly the screen porch king bed of our dreams with a guanabana on the tree ripening outside the back window. Many birds to watch, and titi monkeys cruised by. This is a hostel, not a hotel and that's exactly what we were looking for.

Amazing stay! Location is great - on the road five minutes by bus from Quepos and 15 minutes from Manuel Antonio. The bus costa 385 CRC (at the time 0.7 USD) and ir passes every 15 minutes. Wifi was good enough to do video meetings. Big lockers in the room, amazing common areas, pool, hammocks, kitchen. The hostel is really part of the nature, monkeys even stopping by. Three options for breakfast, tasty! Great value for money! They recommended visiting Tortugas de isla Damas fan y turtle release into the ocean) and it was an amazing activity! Staff answered a million questions I had - very helpful! Laundry service available at 4 USD per kilogram and 24-hour notice.

loved this hostel. felt like a treehouse. great spacious dorm on three levels- bathroom, mezzanine dorm with clothes dry balcony and top deck chill area. hostel has great general chill area and kitchen. amazing pool. great bar/restaurant (set away from dorm so quiet) fab choice of 4 different brekkies!! helpful and friendly staff with travel info. local bus stops right outside to beach/ national park/ quepos just 400 colones. highly recommend!

The facilities were great. Nice clean pool, great restaurant with delicious food, spacious dorms each with its own top balconies which gave a great view of the beach perfect for a sunset, clean bathrooms, spacious dining and chilling area, close to the bus stop. Super convenient location. Friendly staff. Everything was great! I extended my stay there! 100% recommend over any of the other hostels nearby.

The hostel is well located (near a station of bus that link Quepos to the Manuel Antonio national park). The staff is friendly, everything is clean, comfortable. And above all : there is a swimming pool !!! It's very pleasant to have a swim at the end of the day. There is also a bar but I haven't tried it.

Rooms were spacious; there is a nice pool for swimming and another plunge pool in quiet pool area, surrounded by wildlife and greenery. Breakfast was good in a nice space. If you need a place as a base to explore, this is a very comfortable option. Restaurant up the road is also good. We were able to take a shower even after we checked out when we returned hot and sweaty from our hike.

We had the suite. I think we may have been upgraded. The room was large with two queen beds, two upholstered chairs and one small sofa, and a desk with two chairs. It also had a microwave, coffee maker, and small refrigerator. The hotel also provided microwave popcorn and a small milk for coffee (neither of which we used). Our room also had an outdoor seating area with a table just outside the room. Beyond that was access straight to the pools, which was wonderful and very convenient. There were two pools and plenty of lounge chairs to sit in. The pool area was surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was a choice of several options. I had the “typical” Costa Rican breakfast while my husband had the “American.” Each came with fruit, banana cake, coffee, juice and water. It was very good. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Oh, and it was air conditioned! The hotel was on a busy road, but we couldn’t hear anything from our room and didn’t hear much from the pool area.

Upon arrival we were told that the room we had booked was unavailable, but we'd been given an even better room. The room we ended up with was huge, nicely decorated, clean and included nice touches such as a microwave a complimentary make your own popcorn kit, a separate set of towels to sue at the pool or beach etc... We were also given a gift upon checking out. Small touches like these show that the staff really care about making your stay enjoyable. The pool area was really nice, surrounded by jungle and we occasionally saw monkeys in the trees. I'd recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking to stay in Manuel Antonio - although be aware that its quite a distance from the beach and the national park, along a steep windy road (which we were already aware of) so just be mindful of this when booking if you don't have a hire car. The staff were excellent. Unfortunately the aggressive parking 'scammers' that jump out into the road at you by the beach and by the national park and try and charge you 'protection' money (even though parking in the street is free) let our tyres down as we refused to give in to their intimidation tactics. The staff at the hotel were great and helped get the spare tyre changed over on the car in a flash - which really helped us out as were in a rush to get to San Jose to drop our car off.

LOVED our room at Yara! We scored the best room with a great private patio just off the pool! The room was huge, modern and clean! They had a small fridge, dishes and microwave in the room. We loved relaxing on the patio so much that we decided to order in both nights! The pools are nice, with a beautiful backdrop of the jungle.They had beautiful artwork in the lobby. The breakfast was yummy, with several options to pick from. The staff was great! Loved the patio by the breakfast area. Saw some monkeys there! They suggested to the marina in Quepos and it was great to see the huge boats. The local beach is great. You can rent a chair and umbrella

Gorgeous pool, rest area, and facilities and decorations. Also great location for manuel antonio park stay. I was impressed by the room and the whole hotel facilities. it was nice to observe the monkeys from the couch and the macaw from the pool in the few hours I stayed in the hotel outside.

This is one of my top two favorite hotels I've ever stayed in (and I stay in lots of hotels)! It is an indescribably charming oasis in a sea of tourist attractions. We stayed for 6 days and wished we could have stayed longer. Upon arrival we were greeted with two yummy tropical cocktails, given a tour of the hotel and shown to our beautiful patio room. The hotel grounds are a hidden enclave, with a giant rain forest garden, an amazing patio and pool. The bar and restaurant open onto the pool and garden area. The food in the restaurant is amazing---definitely the best we had in Costa Rica. The staff is warm, gracious and accommodating. The pool area lends itself to making new friends, which we did. And happy hour (2 for one fancy pool cocktails) starting at 3:00 is the icing on the cake. Our room was GORGEOUS! It was large, spotlessly clean, very well appointed and so comfortable. I loved sitting on the patio in front of my room every morning and drinking my tea. I just can't say enough about this place. We might return to Costa Rica just so we can stay here again.

We LOVED this place! Such a lovely place to stay with family. We were traveling with an infant and two elderly parents and this was a great home base between tours. Doesn't look like much from the road but you walk past reception into paradise. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. There was a huge closet to store our luggage. We loved drinking coffee on the patio - felt very private and covered in lush vegetation. The pool area was fantastic! Great jungle views. 2x1 happy hour with poolside service was too good to pass up each afternoon. And the food at the restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced - we ate there every evening and enjoyed some guacamole by the pool for lunch! Staff was amazing and so friendly! We would love to come back one day :-)

Amazing pool that feels jungle-like and happy hour at 3 pm, staff were great and attentive, making sure we were comfortable. Overall, the outdoor common area was beautiful with lights, seating and there is a pool table. Our room was nice and spacious, very comfortable bed and couch, had good air conditioning and a fan, nice bathroom with hot water. Good breakfast options and delicious food in the hotel restaurant. The location is close to great restaurants with sea view. The bus operates right outside which can take you to the beach and the national park. We really recommend to stay here.

we were looking for a place to stay where we felt we were in the jungle…found it! I am not a fan of big resorts and this place where everything is only a few steps away was perfect. the pool was small…but perfect. it meant the kids could swim but we could relax by the side of the pool without any worries. the breakfast was great everyday and we enjoyed lunch and dinner at the hotel as well. The staff was friendly’

We spent the last 3 days of our Costa Rica trip at The Falls. We had a fabulous time. First, the on-line photos of The Falls don't do it justice. From the outside it looks like an office building but then you walk from the street into a tropical jungle- beautiful plants and flowers with a few wild species making their homes in the gardens. The bar and restaurant provide indoor & outdoor seating so you can enjoy your meals poolside if you wish. The pool is lovely & just the right temperature. Our room was exquisite and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious & the staff were so attentive & helpful. The hotel was centrally located so that we could easily walk or take local transit to restaurants, the beach & the National Park. We booked 2 tours through the hotel. The sunset catamaran cruise was one of the best excursions that we enjoyed in CR & was very reasonably priced. We had a superbly relaxing visit and would definitely return.

Staff was all very friendly. Rooms next to lap pool were great - awesome access to the pool. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was good. Larger pool was nice

Beautiful hotel, pool and on site restaurant. The most beautiful pool I have ever swimmed. The monkeys were playing in the trees and on the roof to keep us entertained. Staff is super nice and helpful.

Very friendly staff, great location, free breakfast that includes a large plate of fruit. If you just need a convenient place to lay your head without a lot of bells and whistles this is it!

Christian welcoming was Amazing, he has been very helpfull and gave us nice advices during our stay and for the rest of our trip. The food was decent. We really recomend the place.

It is clean and the staff is very helpful. The food is very good and the breakfast included is well served. It is close to the National Park, which is convenient.

The views were amazing and the property is so lush. Feels like a jungle paradise. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved the view of the ocean from it. And the swim up bar in the family pool! The staff were so helpful and the tours of the national park and the boat trip were perfect.

Such a beautiful place. Our room was very comfortable and had spectacular views. Lots of wildlife all around! Pool was just perfect with the swim up bar. Pool deck had great views as well. The food was also amazing! Breakfast was a highlight. Staff were so friendly and helpful with everything!

Pool with swim up bar and water slide. Daily happy hour at the pool from 4-5pm. Live music for dinner. Great location for bird watching and listening to the sounds of the rainforest.

Amazing place to vacation w our family!! The pool and slide was a hit w the kids. The swim up bar w smoothies all day. Close to the beach and the national Park. All the staff was amazing. We will be back. Can't recommend it enough.

Perfect hotel for families: water slide, movie nights, swim up bar, gorgeous views

A very clean and quiet place managed by a very friendly family who will help you with everything. The beds in the dorm are comfortable and far enough apart, there are fans near every bed, there are lockers to keep you stuff safe, the kitchen has everything you will need (note it is not really a bed & breakfast, you have to make your breakfast yourself), it is close to a supermarket and busstop that can take you to manuel antonio national park and Quepos for only 380 colones, for a fee they can do laundry for you and I needed some transportation to the main hospital of Quepos to catch a bus to golfito and they said they could bring me for a better price than a taxi which was very nice! All in all very happy with my stay, thank you a lot!

It’s been a real pleasure to stay at Morpho House. Madelyn really knows how to run the place and make you feel at home. She’s extremely welcoming, smiley, helpful and efficient ! She helps every guest answering questions about the parks and the environment and goes out of her way to find a solution to every special request or booking tours. Her mother is also very very nice. The place is immaculately clean every day, the beds are comfortable and properly protected with mattress covers and sheets, which is rare in dorms. The kitchen and common areas are also very well equipped and spotless. I recommend it 100%. Thanks a lot :)

We had a lovely stay here. Madelyn is so kind and helpful - she couldn't have done more for us - she helped us to buy tickets for the park and even booked our bus tickets back to San Jose. The room is spacious and has 2 fans which is great to cool down. The bathroom is cleaned everyday and clean towels given. We didn't use the kitchen much but there was plenty of room in the fridge to keep our water bottles and space to cook a meal. Great spot 😊

One of the best experiences in Costa Rica: More a homestay with a hostel-dorm, kitchen area... Soo clean, sooo perfect: Madi and her mum Maria make the stay just great: They really make you feel home, help you with information and are sooo kind. Everything is soo clean. Close to the main street and bus-stop for going to Quepos or the National park. Different beaches in walking distance (also buses available to the main beach). I loved it - thank you so much :)

Excellent. Madeline made me feel so welcome. Gave me loads of great information. The room was big, clean and super comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice common area to chill and eat. Only 10 minutes walking from the shops/ restaurants. Including a great restaurant with a 3500 casado that was delicious and filling. Plus being a bit away from the main road meant I saw a toucan and howler monkeys while walking to the hostel.

The property is within a stone’s throw from the national park entrance and only a very short walk to the beach. Parking is ‘short’ but we managed to fit our Suzuki Vitara without any issue. Tina and her team (incl the cute dog) are really really nice and friendly. We even got a bag of laundry done on the house which was really very welcome and appreciated. Thank you!! We liked the decor and our room had a code entrance which was helpful because it meant my partner and I didn’t have to organise who had the key. Our room was on the second floor (no lift), we had a balcony and a fridge in our room which was really convenient. There is a fabulously well equipped kitchen on the ground floor, which we only used to make tea. The pool, pool area and whole hotel is very clean and well maintained. There’s a few minor niggles like chipped plaster or tiles but nothing to detract from the ambiance and comfort of the place.

We could not ask for a better location. It was so easy to walk to the park and also to the beach and to many restaurants. The staff was lovely and helped us park and if we needed anything they provided it with the smile. We had fresh hot coffee in the morning that was delicious. The room was equipped with a little kitchenette which served our purposes perfectly. The pool was a wonderful way to get refreshed after a hot day. We were lucky to have a balcony that overlook the pool, which was also quite delightful.

This hotel was a nice surprise! We could not have found a better one and decided to stay one more night to rest. From there, it takes like 3 minutes by walk to go to the Manuel Antonio Park entrance. However, it is located in a calm little street where there is no noise at all at night. Very comfortable beds and nice rooms. The lobby is nice. Like a little garden mood. And there is a small pool also. The owner is welcoing (and is very calm and zen :)). Helped us find a good guide for the park and offered good restaurants recommandation. By the way, the hotel is located close to the restaurants that are the best in terms of quality and price... On the street of the park. Try Costa Linda and Villa Bosque restaurants.

We love this place. Perfectly positioned for all the best aspects of Manuel Antonio. We had a beautiful little apartment and while we could have cooked here ourselves very happily in our little kitchen diner. We chose to eat out, which was easy. Wonderful hosts and beautiful safe feeling block with its own little swimming pool. Which I wasn't expecting. Our son has some Autistic tendencies and felt very safe and happy here. He wasn't too impressed by the sand at the beach but by the end of our stay it was the right kind of sand. And he was diving into waves on the lovely beach!! Wow. We did a night walking tour locally and tourist guides got us a deep sea fishing half day trip.

The location is outstanding for visiting Manuel Antonio NP as it is truly 100 meters to the entrance. The owner allowed us to park our car until 1 pm following our night stay, so we visited the park early and did not have to find parking that is difficult in the area he also allowed us to shower in the outside pool shower and change out of swim clothes that we used on the park beaches. Breakfast was adequate, but could start a bit earlier to facilitate 7 am entry to the park. Also, there were no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom, which is annoying. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The local restaurant, next door, is excellent and economical.

We really enjoyed our stay and can‘t understand the negative reviews. The location is exceptional, literally right next to the national park and the beach is within close walking proximity. There is also convenience store on the first floor. Last but not least, the apartment itself was clean and the beds were quite comfortable to sleep in. Easily sleeps a family of four, though it was just the two of us this time. Gonzalo, the landlord, was also very nice to us during our whole stay.

Beds were comfy, AC good, kitchen fine, Netflix available and location just outside the entrance to Manuel Antonio national park was perfect to beat the crowds! Very convenient secure parking right outside apartment. Manuel Antonio itself is quiet in the evening so don’t expect a party but if you’re here for the beaches and wildlife then you want to be up early anyway!

The location was brilliant, just in front of Manuel Antonio park. All facilities needed are included, the a/c works good, and there is a free parking in the place ( just ignore the people offering you parking and tell them that your apartment has own parking) Gonzalo was amazing, gracias por tu ayuda y generosidad, pura vida!

Chalo, the property manager is the best. The place is right next to a walking path to the beach. There is a convenient store and restaurant attached to the complex so everything you need is there. Great shared facility for families or friends.

This apartment had everything we need for our stay in Manuel Antonio! Very well located almost next to the entrance of the national park. Our host Gonzalo was great! We would recommend it 👍 Pura Vida! Natalie y Victor

Pros: Property was clean and well kept. Staff at the hotel were great, friendly and breakfast provided was good. There is a public bus stop at the end of the road if you want to take the bus anywhere. We took the bus back from Manuel Antonio Park, very easy - just get out at the soccer field stop. There are many restaurants walking distance from the hotel at various price ranges. Also grocery store nearby for snacks or beverages. We stayed in the 2 rooms with 2 double beds. Great if you are 2 families or a small group of 4 to 8 people and want to stay in adjacent rooms, but not connected. They are alone on the top floor with nice balconies overlooking the pool. Rooms we had were very spacious, quiet and beds were comfortable. One room had a small dining table which we used to play cards at night. Very handy. Small cons: very limited seating around the pool, only 6 loungers. Didn't bother us since we were out and about all of the time and when we were at the pool, we were IN the pool, not on the loungers. If you are a light sleeper, or want to sleep in, the rooms we had were above the kitchen/dining area so you might hear noise. Again, we were up early each morning as we had activities planned so that did not bother us at all.

This is a beautiful hotel , as soon as we walked in it’s modern and beautiful. The pool and pool ares is gorgeous, the room was very clean beds and bedding very comfortable the Tv has Netflix quick access and the staff is so nice , everyone to the reception to the kitchen . I would definitely recommend. It is only two years old .

Beautiful property. Meticulously taken care of. Staff was so nice and helpful. Smiles all day. Breakfast included was great. Angelo was our host at breakfast and he is very hospitable, friendly and funny. Location is good. Close to many restaurants and grocery stores yet tucked away for a peaceful stay. Bus was easy transportation. It’s about 70 cents a ride. The hotel is a distance from any beach access. It’s a 30 minute walk on a road that has a lot of traffic and doesn’t always have sidewalks. Bus is the preferred method even though we love walking. Ocean water is walk in warm which I love. Water not clear at all, but nice. The hotel is an easy. Bus ride to the national park. We saw monkeys in and outside the park. Seems to be the place in Costa Rica to see monkeys. Hotel pool area is a cool place to hang out, I wish they had pads for their lounge chairs. Loved our stay!

This was a fantastic find. From the outside, all you see is a nicely designed front. Then you walk in, and it's like walking into a little piece of paradise. It is absolutely beautiful. The hotel rooms, restaurants, and reception are all around the pool area, which is surrounded by so many beautiful trees, plants, and flowers. On our first day, we saw a monkey walking around on the back wall, and we also go to see two toucans "talking" to each other. What an amazing experience. The room was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying in this hotel. In addition to all of this, the staff was absolutely amazing. They really did go far and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing less than perfect.

This hotel is a hidden gem. You can tell the property is new, and I love that it’s so small. Only about 18 rooms, so the employees got to know you and your breakfast preferences. Everyone there was beyond nice and attentive. They were helpful in ordering taxis for us, answering all our questions, and accommodating requests. The hotel is located conveniently close to a couple of supermarkets in case of emergencies, and it’s only a $10 ride from Manuel Antonio beach or the Quepos area. Super clean pool and room, good happy hour, big breakfasts included. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Our stay was peaceful and felt luxurious at this hotel. 10/10 would recommend and return.

Very modern, cool gallery reception/lounge space with beautiful Costa Rican inspired art by on site artist. Breakfast room, lounge spaces, pool spaces are well appointed, well maintained. The pool space and back deck lounge space face a lush jungle like garden; watch native birds like Tanagers flit amongst the trees. Every night I saw red macaws fly overhead to their roosts near the coast. Very close proximity to Quepos, Manual Antonio National Park, beaches, and many other natural Costa Rican attractions.

The hotel was well located on the road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Our room was huge, and led out onto the pool. The pool area has a lot of wildlife - we woke to Howler Monkeys and Macaws one morning! Breakfast was delicious, with a choice available. One restaurant is within walking distance, but there are many others within a short drive. Would stay again.

This place was everything you could hope for in a rainforest stay. Excellent views of the rain forest, monkeys playing around the pool area. Excellent pool. Very clean rooms. Friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious. Very close to Manuel Antonio NP.

This hotel was great. Easy to locate on the route to Manuel Antonio. It is close to all of the larger hotels where you can have a meal if you wanted. The attention to detail that this hotel has is hard to beat. The rooms are large and the property is extra clean. It does run like a boutique hotel as there arent that many rooms but they have plenty of staff to take care of you. The infinity pool to the jungle was always clean and barely had any leaves, I'm sure they clean it several times a day. I had dinner at some of the more costly properties to stay at but they were far too busy for my liking. This one is serene and calm. The breakfast was awesome. Lots of items you had a menu to choose from which were made to order. To top it off they gave us a little gift at the end of our stay during check out. I would give this property more than 5 stars if I could.

We stayed here because, among other reasons, they accommodate dogs. We are spending 3 months in Costa Rica and couldn’t bear to leave our pup at home that long! Well, they didn’t just accommodate her, but treated her like royalty! They went out of their way—all of them—to make her—and us—feel welcome. They assisted us in finding pet-friendly dining and let us know area attractions that she couldn’t go to (the National Parks). But they weren’t just dog-friendly, the hotel was fabulous in many other ways as well. The rooms are HUGE, the beds are comfortable, the hotel was well-appointed, beautiful, clean everywhere & the views were spectacular from every room as well as the pool and dining area. We saw many colorful birds and heard howler monkeys. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! ❤️
