The entire team is super friendly and accommodating. Service and check-in was quick and the restaurant team were attentive and quick. A great boutique hotel and definitely staying again in the penthouse with private pool.

The boutique hotel was very chic and modern. Very clean and nice sun beds and pool. The staff was extremely nice and made sure all of our needs were addressed. The hotel room was very clean and beautiful. The suite with the private pool was one of the best rooms I have stayed in and had very modern interior design. The room was spotless and spacious and we all had a lot of space. The communication prior to arrival was very good via email as I wanted to get a car service to pick us up from the airport. Would definitely recommend this boutique hotel.

we stayed in the triple O Six suite and it was the most incredible room I have every stayed in. Absolutely huge, sea view, lovely private pool and very modern and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly and the location was great- walking distance to a few restaurants and right across the road from Coconut tree hill view point where you can watch the sunset

We stayed at a room with a private pool and it was FANTASTIC!!!! Worth the money! It had such a beautiful view, so specious, modern and comfortable! Loved every detail! The breakfast was super tasty! The staff is super polite, and an expecetional customer service was provided. This hotel exceeds all my expectations - highly recommended!!!

Such a lovely hotel with the nicest staff. We stayed for 4 nights and was the perfect end to our Sri Lanka trip! our room was so clean with an amazing bathroom with rain shower. The balcony overlooking the pool was great. The hotel being new means the facilities are in excellent condition. The restaurant was nice and air conditioned, with the breakfast buffet having a range of western and asian options. Being vegetarian, there wasn't a lot on the menu for us, but the chef happily adapted dishes to suit our needs. There wasn't a bar at the time of our visit but this was coming in the next few days we were told as the licensing was coming through being such a brand new hotel. The pool was such a great addition to our stay, able to cool of after a sweltering day whale watching. The hotel were happy to arrange any excursions that we wanted including whale watching and the spas.

I liked simply everything about this place. Hidden in the jungle giving you as much privacy as you need. Villas are just piece of the art. Private pool was an amazing spot to relax and focus on what you need - yourself! Food in the restaurant is just amazing. The main pool is simply stunning. And cherry on top- the staff. Everyone always helpful with a smile!

This is a really special hotel. The setting is fantastic - peaceful and set apart, with fabulous views from all sides of the property across 'valleys' and to the sea. The staff are wonderful and so warm and friendly. They create a really relaxing environment where nothing is too much! The managers were extremely gracious and always took the time to talk to the guests and check in on everything. Rooms are large and beautifully laid out so you can be comfy inside and outside on the terrace - either way enjoying the views and your private pool night and day.

Everything about the resort was remarkable. The location is on top of a hill with an amazing sea view, private pool, and chillout pillows in the villa with privacy and jungle all around us. The design and interior made me feel like the team put a lot of time and effort to make a perfect set up for a luxurious moment. I would have loved to stay longer then two nights, maybe forever. The staff were so kind and helpful, I can't think of anything less then perfection. My favorite stay in Sri lanka by far.

Lovely clean pool and ocean. The breakfast was great with a lot of options for babies like hoppers and pancakes, porridge and the food was very tasty. The restaurant also made food for our 1 year old on request. Very friendly and accommodating staff and the pool was also kid friendly and shallow which made it super easy to get our child acclimatized to water. There was also as wonderful and friendly tuk tuk driver outside called pradeep who helped us a lot in getting around.

We like the executive room not the room with the pool, the pool is too small and u the room is not renovated yet. The executive room with a jacuzzi was much better with the view the refurbishment and the shower inside

Service and accommodation were exceptional. We were upgraded to a beautiful villa with private pool. Walkable to beach and tons of activities including movie nights, happy hour, and delicious dinner at communal or private tables.

My second journey to Sri Lanka was now, March 2021, and I deliberately have chosen the UTMT as my second quarantine hotel. It was like three and half years ago: very pleasant, nice location, very good food, very good service and some amenities like a big, usable pool, afternoon tea and cakes/fruit, free phone calls, yoga lessons etc. The rooms are extremely interesting, with lots of detail, and with a small private pool. All together the premise is exceptional as are their prices; I could come more often if there wasn't the price ... I have to think twice ... what a pity.

The pool is stunning, and the spa is expertly managed. During our 8-night stay, I indulged in Ayurvedic treatments while my husband enjoyed his own activities. He appreciated the delicious food and coffee options. I had daily consultations with the doctor and relaxing massages, which left me feeling rejuvenated, healthy, and clear-minded. I am grateful to the dedicated staff at this outstanding resort for making our stay unforgettable.

We stayed for th three days and we wish we had stayed longer. This is a lovely resort style hotel on the beach, private swimming pools, and excellent restaurant and high quality ayeravedic spa and treatments. The rooms were spacious, the fittings fun and charming. Lots of coll additional service such as an inhouse tailor, free yoga and mediation lessons, and afternoon tea. he private hotel beach is clean and well guarded. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed everything about this stay. T

Design of rooms, SPA and pool is stylish and tasteful, but - above all - the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff must be mentioned; they made our stay unforgettable: Sachi from restaurant, Chalani from reception, the Chef with the wonderful Ayurvedic dishes & the SPA team

Not on the beach, but probably quieter because of that. Probably needed slightly better guidance about getting to the beach! Room and pool were great. Making up of room between our two nights was a little delayed, but we were allowed into it straight away on first arrival, despite being early. Good information on arrival. Bit odd that evening meals were not available as advised - supposedly just needed an hour's warning, but kitchen was closed by 1800 hrs on first night! Actually did us a favour because it was much more atmospheric to eat at one of the many beach restaurants. The fresh fish chosen there was delicious and easily enough for two people! Taxi on to Galle was a significantly higher price than quoted elsewhere. WiFi didn't work in the area of the rooms, but did work in reception area.

This hotel was fabulous. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We stayed in a standard room and it was very pleasant. There was a double bed with a large mosquito net covering it. The air con worked well. The breakfast was varied and tasty. The pool was warm and refreshing. The beach is a couple of minutes down the road, look for the sign to 'secret beach'. There's beautiful views here and lots of places to eat. The best thing was the monkeys who kept popping into the garden and sometimes through the open roof and into the bathroom!

What a wonderful little hotel. Lovely cosy and comfortable rooms with a great pool and nice restaurant for a good breakfast to start your day. 2 minutes walk one way the amazing Mirissa beach with great bars and restaurants. 3 minutes the other way and your at the harbour for the must do whale watching. We were made to feel so welcome from the start and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. And all this for such an amazing price. I really could not fault this lovely boutique hotel.

Very nice place with easy access to the beach with restaurants and cafes. Good welcome with warm and attentive staff . Breakfast in a nice setting overlooking the pool with friendly service. Staff were very friendly. Pool is beautiful with lounge chairs. A/C was very good. Room was very clean with private balcony. Wifi spotty at times. Breakfast is good with a lovely location. Beach day is an easy walk (5 min.). Many good restaurants nearby.

This villa is a rare find! We loved the private pool, room was spacious and clean, beautiful peaceful location and the staff were kind and friendly. They were very kind to our 4yr old son. Lalith was especially great, his English is good and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and a good variety to choose from. The free tuk tuk to Mirissa each day is also great.

We had such an amazing time here. We loved it so much, that we booked an additional night. The villa was bigger than expected and so clean. We just spent all our time at the pool and enjoyed the jungle vibe. The breakfast was delicious and there was so much choice - we could even eat it right at our villa. One of us was sick during the stay and they took care of us so well - the owners and staff really are so caring, they really welcome you with open arms. They also always arranged for tuktuks for us to go to the centre of mirissa (about 10min) for free!!! We 100% recommend this place

Everything, the staff, the rooms the pool, the location. Everything was so nice. Wish we would stay there for one more night and do not leave at all from the property. The breakfast also super delicious. The bathroom omg. Only the bathroom was a totally new experience.

Huge and very confortable and nice villa with a pool, with everything brand new and fancy inside the room. We stayed with two little kids and they loved the place. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious.

Really cool vibes, it feels like you’re hidden away from it all in a beautiful Balinese style getaway. The bar staff, wait staff and social hosts were so lovely and welcoming. All of nature and little details like card games, board games, plants, swings and herb and veggie garden were so great. We booked the private villa with pool and it was so worth it for the purpose of our stay. It felt very private and the room was huge. The food in the restaurant was delicious and it was really close to our favourite cafe called Nomad’s. Right across the road from some other nice restaurants and bar with a pool at Karumba bay too! Was a great way to end our Sri Lanka trip. The free t-shirt was a nice touch at the end too. Loved the private pool and it’s so cool that there are optional activities planned each day like yoga, quiz night and nights outs.

Great location, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is simply great, they make sure you have everything you need. The best part was probably chilling by the pool after a surf, such a dreamy set up.

The second I walked in and saw the views I was awestruck by the magnificent views, we stayed in Sri Lanka for a month and we spent most of our trip at Villa Vista. It was a pleasure staying here. Vish and Prasana made our stay very comfortable! We were celebrating our honeymoon and they made a romantic setting in the room for us which was a nice touch. Breakfast was great every day with different options and they were flexible with the time. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It's a short walk through the villa grounds to the private beach which ls great to relax with your partner or family, also a short drive to the more busy beaches so it was perfect to have option of both.

Place was very spacious for the family. Pool was good. Hosts ensured property was clean and daily cleaning was performed. Private pool was a bonus and there was a nice terrace on roof, Even had a balcony a level lower, with hammock chairs.

One of the most friendly hosts in all Sri Lanka. The bungalow is beautiful located and well taken care of. Everything was very clean. My girlfriend had birthday while the stay and the host arranged a surprise for her - really really nice. Would come here definitely again!

This Hostel was such a treat! We stayef 3 WEEKS. Because we figured out, that we won't find anything as clean and nice as this at fabulous prices! The Bathroom's offer a lot of privacy, the dorm's too with its curtains etc. you even get a fresh shower towel and blanket every other day!! They have mats for sandy feet, curtains and lamp + power for each bed seperately and a shelf by the bed!! You can hang ur clothes everywhere to dry too, which is great. Each dorm has an AC and Ventilator. The dorms are CLEAN! Me and all my friend's agreed the cleanliness standard is way higher than many other around sri lanka. They make the bed everyday, clean floors everyday and bathroom everyday. They have a great programm to get the max out of mirissa and its activity potential, the social host Edu and Manager James are sweet, warm hearted, welcoming and funny peuple to be with! They do every favor you ask them for and are in general very caring. Edu even repaired my surfboard!! The whole hostel area in general is beautiful. The Pool with all its green and plants etc. For the little money you pay you definittely get a great HOTEL LIKE treatment!! This hostel gets, that the tiny things DO matter! Like having games, balls in the pool, a clean towel everyday, a clean floor in the room etc. Everything is run thoughtful and with an eye for the clients' prefered details!♥️ Thanks again James and Edu, it was a pleasure to be your parasites 3 weeks long🤪🤪

Beautiful Stay at JJ's Hostel! Super clean, Super spacious, everything about this Hostel was perfect. This is definitely one of the best Hostels we have ever stayed in, James and his Partner are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcomed and at home. James explained the Local area in detail and also recommended traditional restaurants for us. He also invited us to a local event to watch Live music (Doctors House) which we would 100% recommend. The Pictures don't do this place justice, the Hostel is very Spacious with lots of seating areas. The outside area is the real Gem of this Place, big Garden area surrounded by lovely trees. We Loved the layed back atmosphere of the hostel so we decided to chill a few days around the Swimming pool which may i add is the BEST pool we have had on our travels. The Hostel is also the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Central Location. Brilliant Choice of Breakfast. The Overnight security Guards also was a added Bonus. There also is a Sheltered Yoga/Games/Hammock area which we thought was brilliant. The Rooms are yet again Spacious, with a lovely Bathroom. This place definitely more than exceeded our expectations. Honestly will be recommending this place to everyone visiting Mirissa. Thanks James for a Lovely Stay, hopefully see you again soon! Jack & Charlotte x

Really nice Hostel in the middle of mirissa. All beaches, important places and Restaurants + Supermarket in walking distance. Super friendly host. The place itself is big, huge shared rooftop tarrasse, small private tarasse and nice garden with really clean and comfortable Pool. Breakfast was good, you could choose from many different options from Omelette with cheese and mushrooms to french toast. Room was pretty roomy, a/c worked perfectly. Bathroom among the best we have seen in Sri Lanka. Toilet dont get wet!. The shared kitchen was quite dirty, but we did not use it often. All other areas really nice and clean. We saw the staff clean most parts of the Hostel daily. When we checked out, we could store our stuff in an extra room and use the pool till we departed. Most importantly: they have 5 cats! Not only do they house them, but they are also cared for and fed daily with Approbriate food. The WhatsApp Group is a nice Touch and very helpful for solo travelers to get to know New people. It was a very nice stay, we would come again (they sent us a message that we would get a discount ;))

one of the best hostel I've ever been to. Booked for one night but stayed 10 days. The staff is amazing and can help with anything. All you need is there, people to meet, activities, pool, kitchen and laundry, yoga... A small bar by the pool and this place would be 20/10

Super nice, feels more like a hotel with the nice clean pool, clean reception area and nice clean dorms! Socially it was pretty good too, easy to meet people by the pool and they organised at least one activity per day.

By far the best hotel we stayed in during our three week tour of Sri Lanka. From the cold scented flannel welcome to the personal goodbye from the owner the stay was fantastic. Each and every member of staff was kind, attentive and friendly. They even took the time to learn our names and favourite orders. The food was delicious, both pools were great in different ways. The jungle pool for the monkeys and nature and the rooftop pool next to the bar for a more "traditional" holiday experience. Our room was spotless and comfortable and we got to watch monkeys playing on our balcony every morning. I honestly cannot fault a single thing. Awesome hotel!

Amazing hotel, great stay and fantastic staff! We loved staying here. The jungle pool and rooftop pool is lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. We also met one of the Dutch owners, he was so nice! The location is really good, near the main street where most of the restaurants and souvenir stores. The views from the rooftop pool / restaurant is stunning!

Amazing new hotel in Mirissa. Lovely staff, special shout out to Kasuh in the restaurant. Outstanding facilities, jungle pool and rooftop pool. We loved when to monkeys came onto our balcony and seeing them at the pool. Highly recommended

The pools are lovely, particularly the rooftop pool. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The hotel itself is a beautiful design and very tasteful. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The staff are extremely friendly and always offering to help. The breakfast is tasty with a nice selection of western and Sri Lankan options. The bar/breakfast area is stunning and has lovely views. Location is brilliant, you can easily get to the beach and lots of restaurants etc very quickly. They provide beach towels for when you want to go to the beach. They have a range of games which is a nice touch such as a pool table, darts board and packs of cards which is always good if you get a rainy afternoon. They are a new hotel and the owner came to speak to us when we left and gave us a small souvenir each which was a nice touch. You can tell that he really cares and wants the hotel to be great, they have only been open for 3 months and I a sure any little niggles will be ironed out in the near future.

1. Good property. The room was on the 2nd floor, but no complaints as they helped us with our heavy luggage. 2. Parking - They dont have a private parking, but allowed us to park in front of the house (which was very kind of them). We also got lucky as no other people staying there had a car. They also have a temple kind of thing opposite to the property where you can park your car, but honestly looked quite stranded and creepy and when we requested the host to allow us to park there itself, he was kind enough to accommodate. 3. Room was quite spacious, and had a lot of extra space for luggage also; good AC, kettle etc. 4. Washroom was quite clean and shower was quite nice with hot water 5. Location is decent, with 5-10 mins walking to the main road. from the map seemed very close to the beach also though we didnt go 6. Good ambience around the property, but nothing special 7. Breakfast - Good though nothing great. But really liked how every room had its own seating for breakfast right outside their room

This is by far the best place I have stayed at in Mirissa. All the rooms were very clean including en-suite bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and we all had a good night sleep. Breakfast was filling with toast, butter/jam, omelette, fruit plate, tea pot, and pancakes made especially for the kids. The place is run by a very humble family. They seem very kind and keen to go above and beyond to satisfy their guests. Our late checkout request was accepted which really helped as we were able to come back from the beach, have a shower and get ready before setting off. The beach and main road is a very short walk away. In terms of value for money, I would highly recommend this place. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka🙌🏽 we felt like we were in a luxury hotel ~ the room was spacious, clean & had everything we needed from cupboard space, a fridge, hairdryer etc. Each room had an area right outside their room with a table, chairs a fan & windows which we personally loved. This is where we were served our delicious breakfast each morning, at a time we were able to choose. The property is a 3 minute walk to Mirissa beach & 3 minute walk the other way to the Main Street. Pretty perfect location Best of all the host family are the most beautiful people. They invited us to an extended family meal & we were blown away by the kindness. Will definitely be back & hope to stay for longer than 5 nights next time

The place is amazing and so are their hosts. The husband, wife and the whole family is very jovial and always ready to assist. They portray the real spirit of Sri Lankan hospitality. Theirs is a very under rated property which deserves to be highlighted for its cleanliness which was at par with any high end hotel. The facilities in the room like AC, fridge, tea/coffee maker, hair dryer were all in a great condition and not generally expected from a guest house and yet they were placed prominently. The bed was comfortable and the size of the room and the bathroom was huge. This is not just value for money but they exceed in every aspect. I wish them all the best.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The room was large, clean, with a well-functioning air conditioner. We were delighted by the little attentions such as electric kettle, cups, hangers and hair dryer! In front of the room there is also outdoor furniture intended for all rooms and our children were happy to use it. It is close walking distance to the main beach in Mirissa. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful, his family is very nice, especially his little daughter :) The breakfasts were big and tasty. We had a great time in Mirissa and highly recommend this accommodation.

Sira's Chalet turned out to be a little gem in Mirissa. Great location, bang on Mirissa beach and walking distance from places like Parrot rock, Coconut Hill. The owner really takes personal interest in ensuring the guest's well being and comfort. Its a small property but has explempary service standards. Couple of instances - We had a triple room and our AC stopped working in the afternoon, without any hesitation the owner offered us a family room. We had an early morning flight and hence had to leave at 3 am. The owner had breakfast ready and packed for us so early in the morning. It was really a wonderful gesture. I would recommend to anyone looking for a home kind of environment, with great service and good location.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sira's Chalet. I picked the property for it's location next to the beach - it couldn't get any closer! I loved waking up each morning and walking directly onto the beach, in the evenings I could hear the waves from my window, it was idyllic. The breakfast was great, lots of fruit, smoothie, and choice of eggs - it set me up for my busy days! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, they helped booked my spa treatment and whale watching etc. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a beach stay.

The plave is between 2 restaurants on the beach. We had room No.1, just a few steps from the beach, the room was clean with renovated bathroom, tee/coffee making facilities, fridge, 1 L bottle/person every day, air-con, hairdryer, towels for the beach and sunbeds are provided. The owner and all the staff are extremely kind and helpful. They arranged us whale watching for reasonable price, very good breakfast, Cargills supermarket is round the corner. There are overpriced restaurants on the beach, eat on the main road od thy Hungry Hub. Highly recommended!!

Great breakfast and helpful hosts. One of the guys helped us reserve a whale-watching trip for a good price. Sunbeds are included in the price, which is cool. There's a good beach right near the property, suitable for swimming. The rooms are very basic and not new, but good-equipped. The table outside is great for reading and relaxing, especially if it's raining. The owner recommended a great place with Sri Lanka food. We also found a good souvenirs shop Sadaruwan

The location is amazing, literally a few steps to the beach, sunbeds placed where you want them, plenty of shade provided if needed. Large grounds and free hammocks and body boards. Rooms spotless and air conditioned for arrival. Tea and coffee and kettle, cups, and glasses in rooms. Staff are so friendly and seem know what you need before you do. Toiletries provided, amazing breakfast, and they have so many suggestions and advice regarding the local area does and donts.
