We had a great time! No early check in but we did eat at the restaurant and the kids changed and used the indoor pool. The room was clean and large. My kids loved the bunk beds with their own tvs. The housekeeping, food, pools, and beach were all great. We rented a cabana at the pool and the service was amazing. We rented chairs and umbrellas at the beach and it was seamless. Highly recommend! We took the free shuttle to the little village and I highly recommend going there. Lots of restaurants and shops.

Stayed 3 nights in the Spa Tower - overall the resort met our expectations: friendly and helpful staff, beautiful pool areas, incredible beach, good services. We tried some takeout from the Sandcastles restaurant and thought it was very good, enjoyed the breakfast buffet, drinks at the bar, etc. The lobby / restaurants / indoor pool / bar all were very nice, clean, and appealing. Our room was showing its age - in particular the bathroom needed to be refreshed, as the shower was worn and mirrors seemed faded; also the slider to our balcony had some rust, TV had a few minor issues, etc., but overall the room was large and comfortable with an excellent view of the pools and beach. Bed and mattress were just OK. I'm not sure, but my suspicion is that the other tower is newer and possibly nicer, although I will stay our 5th floor room was overall very quiet. I'd say this met my expectations - a great stay and we will likely return.

The resort was perfect for families. Two outdoor pools and an indoor pool for when it rained. The food in the lounge was good and there was a putt putt course in walkable distance so it was nice that we could be entertained enough without leaving if we had wanted. The rooms with the bunk bed was a nice addition and added some extra family space as well. We did need to change rooms and we did get a room upgrade with our view which was great. And the beach was very very easy to get to. Ordering food and drinks by the pool was also lovely. Overall, the resort was very clean and nice. Overall, we were pleased.

Fantastic hotel right on the beach! We had two rooms and both were updated. Rooms had a nice size balcony with comfortable chairs and table, a fridge, new couch and chairs. I very much appreciate the makeup mirror in the bathroom. And a steamer in the closet, instead of an iron! The grounds of the hotel are amazing. Exactly what you need for time at the beach. There are so many lounge chairs on the pool deck area, you're bound to find one at any time of day. If not - there is a sign stating if items are left for an hour, they will be taken away. Pools were clean. Outdoor restaurant/bar had great food and lots of seating. You can rent chairs and umbrellas directly on the beach for the day too. And a great feature - at the Coffee Shop you can purchase an insulated sport bottle and get free refills of soda and tea for the length of your stay. On our last day after checkout we stayed and enjoyed the beach, and as a diamond member, we were able to use the spa to freshen up afterwards. Amazing! The concierge recommended the Rum Runner Dueling Pianos at the Wharf for evening entertainment - and it was great fun. Will definitely stay here again for a relaxing time at the beach!

Love this resort, we've stayed here several times and every time its such an experience. The staff is friendly, they go out of their way to fulfill your needs during your stay. The spa is amazing, pool and beach service is great. The food service by the pool the best option during your stay. While the food service inside has a friendly staff the food is not the best. The breakfast buffet is not the best, the eggs, hashbrowns and sauage is typically undercooked and most of the time lukewarm at best. The bacon is good majority of the time. The lunch and dinner menu by the inside bar is ok, but most of the time you can tell the food is not fresh therefore making it way over priced. The pizza and sushi is the best option for inside food service. Plenty of dinner and restaurant options on the main roads. But regardless of the food service, I love this resort. Its like home away from home on the beach.

Property was nice. Beach access was across the street but a great beach. There was a very basic outdoor pool at the hotel along with hot tub which was great. We enjoyed the 2 free drinks each night, the free snacks each night, the great breakfast each morning and the restaurant food was good. Megan (manager) was fantastic and very friendly and helpful as was Donna. Pimlada was a great bartender as was Amelia, but she is no longer going to be there as she was leaving the area with her family. DJ was also very friendly and gave great service at front desk. Hotel very convenient to restaurants, grocery store, shopping outlets, etc. My only complaints are the elevators were not all in service, it was very humid in the hotel, although ac in room was fine. No lactose free milk options at breakfast but i found out (with Donna's help) that omlets were made with a non-dairy butter/oil so i could eat them. We wished there was music at the pool. Overall we loved this place and would definitely return.

My husband and I loved the aesthetic of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Destin Miramar Beach. Customer service was top tier. The bartender was amazing and the BEST. The breakfast was delicious. We were provided with an access code to enter and exit the beach . The beach was in walking distance across from us. Parking is available by the beach. Free parking at the Embassy for guests. Jacuzzi and pool area. And a shower station to rinse the sand off. Non smoking facility so, you have to smoke outside. Pet friendly. The environmental staff were amazing and kept the hotel spotless. All of the employees treated everyone with dignity and respect. Nearby restaurants and Surf and Turf are across the street. This location is near the outlet for retail therapy. There's a store next door for gear and souvenirs. Overall, I felt like I was at a resort in the states.

Second visit here, to recover from busy Orlando park stays. Super nice staff, bright and airy hotel across from the white sand beach. Warm pool and spa tub on site with comfy loungers and umbrellas. Comfy bed in a somewhat dated, clean room. Room coffee is very good too. Restaurant is excellent, with great food and service for Breakfast and Dinner. Attractions and shopping close by. Kudos to Anthony, David and Trish for continuing outstanding service...I will return when in the area.

A great hotel overall with great staff! We will return for sure. Fantastic breakfast and a complimentary drink in the evening was a nice touch. The staff was super polite and they were constantly cleaning. A well run facility. We loved the private beach as well. The only thing that could use a little help is the pool/spa and some of the furnishings are showing a little age. A great experience overall and we look forward to returning soon.

This place was beautiful! We enjoyed everything about the stayed! The staff (all of them from front desk to house keeping to chefs and servers) were very kind and polite! The room was spacious and clean! The breakfast was excellent and the complementary drinks and snacks in the evening were great! Heated pool and jacuzzi! It was all great! I will be staying again for sure!

We have stayed in multiple places in Destin and this was by far in our top 3. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar which offered Happy Hour from 5-7 daily. On days we spent the entire day at the beach, it was nice to be able to come back to our hotel and shower and grab some food and drinks from the hotel and go back to our room and relax. We enjoyed the pool as well. The room was clean. Location was great and close by to all of our favorites. Our only complaints were that the shower door was hard to slide open and seemed to be off track and the pillows were not very supportive. Overall- our stay was great and we will definitely be staying here again.

A 5 minute walk to the beach made things very convenient. The hotel was exactly what I’d hoped good. Nice and pretty quite and good location. Good breakfast (that you have to pay for). Decent bar and pool and friendly staff. Good place to stay if you plan on most of your time being spent in Destin is outside of the hotel room.

This property is very close to everything and the places it wasn't, we uber to. Hotel was very clean. Outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, restaurant and bar in the hotel. Oh, this hotel has rooms with nice sized balconies as well. Room were spacious and updated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend them to everyone.

This was a quality hotel in a nice location. Although not on the beach, it was a very easy walk or the hotel has a golf cart for a 2 min drive. The only downside is coming back. At 4 on Sat the driver had already left for the day. Although small, the pool was well maintained.

The breakfast menu prices were so high and for what I read that was included I did not consider purchasing breakfast but the free coffee was good and the room was perfect, great features in the room. The pool area was clean and orderly.

My husband and I went for a stay for our anniversary so we looked for a dog friendly hotel because she goes everywhere with us and was able to find this hotel. Check-in was easy went straight to our room and it smelled of mens cologne not a huge deal the room to appear clean.I liked the size of room it was good for our short time there bed slept good had plenty of towels and the shower was nice other than they need to upgrade the head it sprayed crazy but loved the doors they were glass and the mirror had a led going around it really nice plus a motion lightning was a nice touch. Tv was mounted on wall a good size. Nice pictures on walls. Small mini fridge and microwave. Would definitely stay again. What sucked pets not allowed in pool area.

We stayed 2 nights with 2 kids and 2 pets that travel quite a bit and would definitely stay here again . Pleasantly surprised compared to other pet friendly hotels! Very clean, Quick check in in , Friendly staff .Beds were comfy . The pool was great ! The breakfast offered both hot and cold items with a nice spacious dining area. It was very busy so get there early !Close to the beach ,maybe 2 blocks but still close to everything in town . All in all the stay was excellent!

Coming here feels like a home away from home. In my last review I failed to mention the superb customer service that I received and witnessed. Roderick and Calisia go out of their way to make sure my room is perfect before I check in. Roderick actually walks with me and helps me inspect the rooms! Calisia waits patiently for my return to give her the ok before she puts my information in. The customer service i witnessed was with Calisia. A woman from MS made a reservation, but her card and her husbands' card were charged. The woman was cool, but you could tell she was pissed! Calisia remained calm and explained to the woman that she was unable to help her due to the rules of the hotel. She remained professional and kind during the entire process. I spoke to the lady the next morning and even though she was still irritated (which I don't blame her) she managed to compliment Calisia on how sweet she was and that she understood her position. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years and I know sincerity and kindness. The entire staff is consistent with every guest and they are greatly appreciated!

I recently stayed at Comfort Inn Miramar Beach-Destin in Florida, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was smooth, and the room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect—just a short walk/drive from the beach, restaurants, and local attractions. Breakfast each morning was fresh and had a great variety of options. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the service and cleanliness throughout the property. Overall, I highly recommend Comfort Inn Miramar Beach-Destin to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Florida. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Lastly, I would like to recommend the verbiage on the website be updated. I booked through a third party and there was no information about an accidental fee. I looked on the Comfort Inn website and I found that it said $100. That $100 isn’t accurate as to what I was charged.

My daughter and I arrived much later at airport in Destin on 8/24 than we were supposed to as a result of mechanical issues with our 1st plane making us have a 4 hour delay which meant our connecting flight had to be rebooked. To say the least we were exhausted from a very long day. Upon our arrival to the Comfort Suites @ Miramar Beach we were greeted by the amqzing Hotel Manager Donna and her very kind front desk man Russ. They could tell we had had a day and our interactions with them was like a warm southern welcoming hug. We have enjoyed our 2 night stay immensely and will miss Donna and Russ and all the friendly staff we've encountered. Highly recommend this hotel - the staff went above and beyond for us to have an enjoyable first 2 days in Destin!

We arrived and were welcomed with a smiling face at the counter. When we made it to our room we were amazed by how nice the room was. Prior to our arrival we had seen a review talking about smelly rooms and dirty floors as well as “not so friendly “ staff. So we were prepared to go to a different hotel if this was the case. To our wonderful surprise, EVERYTHING was exactly opposite of that review. The room was super clean (and passed my black light test,lol) The gym is actually decent with 5-50 lb dumbbells and an adjustable bench as well as a treadmill and bike. As far as the staff, EVERYONE of them always had a smile and we were greeted every time we walked by them. GREAT JOB Choice Hotels.

My stay was amazing I have 4 kids and we were all comfortable. The room was spacious and had alot of nice amenities. Our cable did go out on the tv but due to Andre and the staff they were amazing and had accommodated us and kept us updated until they solved the problem. The pool was amazing for the kids they had it all to their selfs. Breakfast was out of this world plenty of options to choose from. Rate this hotel 9/10 definitely recommend to stay.

Everything was sooo clean! The employees go above and beyond for you! Me and my sister was on our way down to the pool.least to say we didn’t open one door to get to it the service was amazing and the breakfast was 10/10

Awesome hotel, we loved it so much we booked another night. Pool was great and OPEN which was helpful, eating spots within walking distance, Room was amazing and quiet. Bed comfortable, couldnt fault it.

We came into this not expecting much given some of the reviews but upon arrival, we were very pleased at the size, layout and impeccable condition of both our particular unit and the facility as a whole - all residing withing the very well-managed Sandestin complex. The listing wasn't clear that we would have two bedrooms AND two baths but that was a nice surprise. Pools were extremely well managed and water was conditioned perfectly. The location of the pools looking out over the bay with osprey and other birds in plain view. The particular access that we were entitled to was a bit mysterious but we had a package that allowed for fully-paid-up access to beach chairs and umbrellas which is somewhat unheard of in the Destin area so a big plus. Shuttle was easy and ran pretty consistently. It was a solid "A" from our side. Great job Hilton Grand Vacations & Sandestin. A little pricey but what isn't in the Destin area in June??

Beautiful pool area, lovely views from the balcony, clean and comfortable suite with well-equipped kitchen. Friendly staff. Easy access to a nice variety of resort amenities, shopping, and beach. The only thing I found a bit suboptimal was the check-out time. 10:00 a.m. felt awfully early to get cleaned up and out of the suite; 11:00 a.m. would be much easier! Also, we were instructed to take our garbage and recycling down to the compacter in the garage ourselves before leaving. The compacter was somewhat hard to find (and it turned out that garbage and recycling all went in together -- so no need to separate). It's a small thing, but somewhat unusual in our experience. Overall it's a great property and we would definitely rent there again. (In fact, this was already our second time.)

I loved the location between the beach and the wharf. Whatever way you biked or walked out of the property, it wasn't far to either one. Property was very clean and pretty except the zero gravity pool. Too many babies in diapers left the water gross with flecks of white diapers. Not the hotel's fault. Maybe not at the height of the tourist season it can be kept under control. Room was lovely and clean. The staff is exceptional! You are greeted everytime you enter the lobby and lots of good advise is given. Enjoyed it very much and will return again in the fall!

We’ve stayed here many times and just absolutely love it here. The bay is beautiful and there’s plenty of lounge chairs around the pools and hot tubs. All the rooms are so spacious. The beds are firm.

We liked the pool. Anytime we asked for towels as long as we brought what we used it was no issue for more. Free washer and dryer. Beds are comfortable as well.

We had a wonderful stay here. Our room was quiet and clean, very pleasant decor and all the usual amenities. The best one IMO, and the reason we chose this place, is that they are PET FRIENDLY! Being able to bring our dog is a game changer for us, and they have a nice little dog walking area in the front. Other non-pet observations: Nice comfy bed and big desk to spread out your laptop or whatever. Friendly people at the front desk. Great location and easy to drive to restaurants and shopping. It was off season and we were there mainly for golf, not the beach, BUT there’s a great shortcut to a small public parking area & beach access which we took advantage of when we weren’t playing golf. We look forward to staying here again!

Excellent option for the price! We were please with the size of the room and the kitchen area, so we were able to cook. I also loved that there is free washer and dryer. We had a long desk so both my husband and I could work. There was a bit of a smell on the hallway/room like someone had smoke before but the smell is not fully gone...it bother me at first, then I guess I forgot about it.

We stayed at the Westwinds at the Sandestin resort. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The room was amazing with inviting decor, full kitchen, comfortable bed, great bathroom and shower, and stunning view. I did not get a beach view room, but a bay view instead. The pool has ours that are not enforced which means my son and I got to do a lot of night swimming which you can't really do anymore anywhere that I know of. The kids and adults are allowed to jump in the pool. The place is safe enough that I could leave my 11 year old at the pool unattended since the resort is heavily gated. The beach was the most beautiful beach that I've ever been to. Since this resort is located in Miramar Beach, you don't have the ridiculously heavy traffic that you have in Destin but have all of the benefits of Destin. However you are very close to Destin and can do all the fun water activities like speed boat rides and Parasailing. But the condo was so great that it made it really hard to leave. I went to the Walmart which is less than a mile from the resort and picked up food to eat for the entire stay. I loved sitting out on the balcony at night and taking in the sounds and sights. It was truly a relaxing vacation that I will be comparing all others to from here on out. Again I must reiterate that we were at the WESTWINDS in the resort. There are many other condos at this resort, so you resultsay vary if you stay somewhere else.

We made an emergency stay here to avoid a hurricane hitting our hometown and boy were we surprised to find an amazing resort town. Many pools and several gyms, a community village with stores and amusement and restaurants. Preferred beach access with a pool. Even got in a round of golf. Plenty of underground parking. We didn't want to leave. STAY

This as our first time here and we will definitely be back! Our condo was beautiful and all of the pools were within reasonable driving distance if your place does not include a golf cart! Beautiful beach, a couple of heated pools!

Our stay was awesome . Kitchen essentials for cooking was amazing. Bed was so comfortable I wish there were heavier comforters . Walk to the beach was so convenient and the pool near our rooms was great . Near great restaurants etc . There is construction on one building . We also had a leak from the water heater in our other bedroom. Wasn’t realized sooner due to us being gone lol .

I loved the quite and seclusion but yet close to everything to do. We stayed the the Bayside Condominium and it was quiet. When we needed anything you just called and they took care of it. We are at poolside our first night and then the Marina Bar and grill the second night. Both places were great.

My stay was nice overall. The place could use landscaping maintenance - tall weeds all around the building & pool area. Also should not advertise breakfast as a buffet when it's only continental. Muffins & juice are not a "buffet".

This was a fantastic hotel! It deserves a much higher rating than what is listed. It’s very close to the beach and everything else! Tons of food choices within walking distance. It was SUPER clean! You can tell that the housekeeping staff takes pride in their work because it was very well taken care of. The front desk staff was also excellent! They were very friendly and gave us great tips! The price was really low for a 3 night stay. The king room had a nice kitchen type area with separate counter space, sink, fridge and microwave. It was perfect for making lunches before heading out to the beach. Bathroom was also super clean and the hot water was instantaneous! Breakfast choices seem very limited but we didn’t come here for the breakfast! With what you are saving from other establishments you can easily grab breakfast anywhere you want. It seems they were in the process of renovating some rooms and switching to become an IHG hotel. We couldn’t tell at all that there was any work going on. From our room on the second floor we didn’t hear a thing. We will most certainly be staying here again in the future!

Very clean & housekeeping always asked if we needed anything extra when we saw. Everyone who works there I are absolutely amazing & so friendly & accommodating. Only thing I will say is that we had housekeeping knock & come in right away a few times even with do not disturb on the door. No big deal because they left immediately, but just made us overthink if they’d come in randomly while we were gone. Other than that, it’s an amazing place and I’ll come back over and over!! They sure do take care of people that have stayed there previously!

The room looked recently updated & was spacious with a modern decor. We stayed in the king suite & had a nice kitchen area, walk in shower, large desk/ work area, sofa sleeper & comfy bed. The floor was newer, but it was dirty, so had to wear socks or shoes. Continental breakfast was basic with cereal, muffins, fruit, etc. Cose to shopping, dining & the beach which was perfect. There was some inside construction going on at the time we stayed, updating rooms, but we were not close to it so no noise. Front desk very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

I spent 6 nights at Sleep Inn in Miramar Beach. It is conveniently located on the south side of Hwy 98 opposite the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. You can walk to a number of restaurants, fast food, a convenience store, a Winn Dixie grocery store, CVS Pharmacy (open 24/7), and not too far to the beach. All I sawat Sleep Inn was well maintained, clean, my room was very comfortable and plenty spacious for one or two people. My room had a King bed. There was also a mini fridge, microwave, desk and chair, an open closet with a drawer. There are plenty of plugs for changing devices. Everything in my room worked fine. I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient. The parking is well lit. There is also an outdoor pool (which I did not use as it is Winter, a cold front dropped the temperatures to the 40s and 50s, and the only people in the Gulf were Canadians or were from Montana.) I did not try their breakfast, though it smelled good. I enjoyed my stay and think you will too.

My husband & I stayed 3 nights here. The room where we stayed was clean and the bed was very comfortable. This is not a 5 star hotel but it’s rooms are clean!! Rooms have fridge and microwave in them. They offer a breakfast you can grab and take back to your room…..they have breakfast sandwiches & tacos, cereal, muffins juice & coffee. It’s ok I guess can’t ask for much with COVID still around right! The pool is good. They do not offer housekeeping at this time but you can get clean linens and towels daily to change if you want. Very close to public beaches (about a 3 min drive) and close to lots of restaurants and stores. Would stay again!!!

For what we paid it was not too bad. Room was clean, we didny utilize the pool and check in/out was easy and friendly. It wasn't every easy walk to the beach though. You're pretty close to everything else, the store is walking distance and if you want to cross 98 you can walk to the outlets

This hotel is convenient to restaurants, shopping, and most important THE BEACH. The desk staff could look up more when one is coming in or leaving, just to say hi or have a good day. The breakfast was a little disappointing. It is from 7 - 10, but we went around 830 and there was very little to eat. We had a nice man ask if everything was ok and we had to tell him there was nothing out. He quickly found someone to take care of it, He fixed more waffle batter and put some danish out. The room was nice. We had a king bed. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel was pretty quiet. Overall, we would definitely use this hotel again.

Stayed for a last minute trip on Labor Day weekend. The stay overall was pleasant with very comfortable beds and hot water with good water pressure from the shower. If you are expecting a high end experience, this is not the place for you. But if you just need an affordable place to lay your head at night after being at the beach all day it’s great! Only issue we had was with the room key cards. It would take multiple swipes at times for it to work.
