Amazing Stay – Just Like a Tropical Paradise! 🌴 Despite some mixed reviews we saw earlier, our experience at this hotel was fantastic! ✨ The territory is stunning – just like in a tropical resort or an oasis. Everything is beautifully maintained, with palm trees, pools, and lush greenery all around. It really feels like you're in a postcard! 🏨 Our room was excellent – spacious, clean, and with a lovely view of the pool surrounded by palm trees. 🙌 The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. 🍽️ Food and drinks were totally fine – we especially enjoyed the breakfast (and even had live piano music in the mornings 🎹!). 🎂 They surprised us with a little cake and bubbly on a birthday – such a thoughtful touch! 🪑 There are several restaurants: one à la carte, and one with buffet options. We liked the à la carte one better – you can sit outside on the terrace with no buffet crowds. 💆‍♀️ We didn’t try the SPA, but everything else was great. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend AP Lago Montargil Conference & Spa for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting. P.S. I believe complaints usually start in high season when it gets too busy – the staff seemed to manage well during our stay in mid-June.

Amazing breakfast and buffet, great variety. Incredible pools and spa. The adults only pool is a big bonus. Fun activities by the lake. The staff is super nice, our room was comfy, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely coming back.

Short drive to more restaurants, but we were happy to cook in/walk into village. Very clean upon arrival and warm and friendly hosts. Huge, comfortable bed with the most amazing view - we left curtains open to see starry sky and blue moon at night and wonderful sunrise! Plenty of kitchen/dining equipment to cook in. Lovely pool to cool off in the extremely hot weather! Jacuzzi was great, but we only used a couple of times, as weather too hot! Would recommend to everyone, as idyllic!

The hosts are amazing, super friendly and welcoming. The house is stunning! The views are stunning! Very comfortable and well equipped. The pool was great specially on a 36 degree weather. I loved everything about this little oásis. Baby/child friendly, which we appreciated a lot. We recommend it to everyone.

It's just an amazing place not only the renting of a room. Big farm with lots of space to walk relax, animals. The fire place per chalet is a special touch for an amazing end of day. The chalet inside is amazing, very comfortable and cozy. With car park next to the chalet. Breakfast was taken to the chalet in the morning with all what was necessary for a great start of day. Staff was also amazing

Friendly staff, amazing surroundings, cleanliness, camp fire. Kids (and adults as well) loved possibility to feed farm animals (horses, ponys, goats).

I just loved the place. A totally different experience. Completely remote, with a cute river and a bunch of activities to do. The breakfast was so delicious and home made! I truly recommend the caravan. You'll be completely alone in the wild and you have a private pool just for yourself. There's also a nice tub inside, and it's a quite romantic place. I had a blast.

The property is located within a farm and a ranch. There's a swimming pool for community use and an outdoor centric location. Accomodation was spacious with ample room for a family, a fireplace and an attached kitchen. You'll find horses, chicken and a lake with huge spaces to walk along the nature trail.

Wonderful breakfast with fresh baked goods in the morning delivered to the door. Peaceful, beautiful place, with horses, a pond, pool, etc. The space is more than ample, has a lot of room, a great kitchen, and fairly comfortable beds.

Resort out in the country. Horses, donkeys, turkey, ducks, chickens, pool and hot tub. Lots of families. Beautiful scenery. Free breakfast.

Lovely nature, nice little pool, friendly staff. All we needed.

I stayed three nights at this hotel. The hotel reopened recently. The rooms are large. The breakfast is also good. I think this hotel is only 3 stars because does not have a swimming pool. For me is more like 4 stars.

The location of the hotel is very good. Easily accessible to transport, local restaurants, and cafés. Both checking in and out was completed quickly and in a professional manner. The room was a good size, especially as I shared it with my sister and mum. Both the room as well as the bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was also very good, a wide selection was provided. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family.

We were a group of 18 cyclists riding the N2 and this was our overnight stop. The rooms weren’t particularly large, but suited us fine, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Sara on reception, who was lovely and went out of her way to look after us. We ate at the restaurant around the corner, but breakfast was very good, and the gluten-free rolls were the best I’ve ever eaten. We enjoyed our visit and will stay here again.

Cycling across EU and needed somewhere for the night. Clean, quiet, modern hotel. The room had a modern AC with quiet and night modes. Usually can’t have it on as too noisy. As it was 38oC when I stayed, Defo needed it. Staff were very friendly and stored my bicycle securely for me. Breakfast was more than adequate with more friendly staff and eggs cooked to order.

5 of us stayed her for 2 nights. Its a lovely Hotel. Rooms lovely & spotless clean. Bathroom spotless clean .Beds very comfortable. Staff are lovely and friendly, they couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was lovely all fresh food & you can order Scrambled eggs etc all freshly made for you. Very enjoyable stay, We will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Ponte de Sor.

Great stay! Even before we arrived the communication was amazing, we got all the needed information to arrive and for the dinner menu. The room, even if small, had all we needed, was comfortable and had a great view. We also had dinner at the location, amazing home cooked food in a lovely dinner area. Breakfast was also great. There is plenty to explore around, you can go for a walk, see the animals or just enjoy the pool. Looking forward to get back :)

A very peaceful and removed from civilization place. Breakfast was delicious and especially nice that it is served in nature. Great pool with a jumping bridge, our son couldn't get out of there. The staff kindly provided us with 2 bikes and my son and I enjoyed riding them. The routes inside the kinta are very difficult due to the deep sand - bikes get stuck. But the roads outside the kinta are great and you can ride.

Everything! The food was amazing and we absolutely loved that we didn't need to leave the property to find a restaurant, as they offer breakfast and also both lunch and dinner. We also loved how the staff was so nice to us and treated us like friends, it really made the stay even better. The property itself is beautifully designed, and secluded from the outside world, which really added to our experience. We think that to make it even better, maybe have available, like on a board, useful information, such as activities within or without the property, and the different food options for the day, the hour of serving/eating, the price points and how/when to sign up for it, just to let the guests know and leave it up to them to decide.

Everything!! the place is just amazing. We wished to stay longer. It is super intimate, with only 7 or so rooms. Very clean and everything feels high quality with no signs of wear. The staff are real hosts, doing everything with pleasure. W'll definitely come back.

The villa with private pool was amazing! The views of the lake are breathtaking! The villa has spacious rooms and many large windows overlooking the beautiful terrace and pool. There was even a fireplace. Breakfast was brought to the villa, so we could enjoy it on our own private terrace: WONDERFUL stay!

On arrival the staff were attentive and friendly. The rooms are well equipped with all amenities one could need for a weeks stay. Breakfast around our private pool was a welcome luxury. The staff were very helpful advising on activities, restaurants and areas to visit. The area is perfect for a week break, well recommended.

Nice place to stay by the lake. Room was basic but adequate there was air conditioning in the room. Good service from staff and food was ok. The pool was not open when we were there but it was very early season.

A super cool campsite, really good conditions, comfortable and great views! We stayed at Neptune bungalow and it was great, amazing sunrise view to the lake. Safe, quiet, friendly staff, surrounded by nature. A really family friendly environment, would definitely come back. Plenty of parking spaces.

Super helpful people. I mixed up my arrival date and they went out of their way to sort us out with a room. Authentic Portuguese village a little off the beaten track.

Super clean, great staff, and there is a good cafeteria and restaurant next door, and a supermarket across the road. Will stay again if in the area.

The room and building were very clean and the owner was really helpful and quick to reply to help

The room and the whole place was super cute and clean, comfy and welcoming.

Newly renovated apartment. Fully equipped, close to a supermarket and restaurants. Lovely hostess.

The staff was great in all aspects. The place is just wonderfull, just the other side from Barragem de Montargil, and the sky at night is just beautiful, hard to find places that allow you to have that experience
