Excellent professional managed family hotel on large grounds. Comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast options. Great for families with kids due to pool. Like a mini resort in the middle of a city. They have a row of rooms that can be reached without steps or stairs after the arriving about 4 steps above street to reception. Most rooms not Aircon but no need unless you have hot flashes. They have suites too called Master. Photos are standard rm.

Breakfast was very good and service excellent, room very comfortable and quiet, beautiful garden and pool, very quiet and relax location. Very friendly and nice location to join with family in Cuernavaca and have a delicious breakfast and take some good pictures in the garden. we all love this hotel.

Ten years ago, I visited the Hacienda on a tour with my language school and said to myself, "If I ever get married, this is where I'll have the ceremony" The place is amazing. 1500's Hacienda that has been updated to include rooms, restaurant, pool, etc. The staff is incredibly nice and service oriented. We were treated as royalty. My family who had never been to Mexico were amazed at the beauty. It is definitely off the beaten path but worth the trip! Our wedding was held in La Troje. The wedding planner who worked for the hotel set everything up and communicated with me for months via email. Jimena made our dreams come true! Beyond that, the food served at the hotel is AMAZING!!! It's authentic, high quality and absolutely delicious. There's a fantastic mini golf area, game room with foosball, pool, etc. Everyone enjoyed themselves!

We were a company of 6 staying for 5 nights in the hacienda and it was perfect. The area is beautiful, with nice pool a lot of activities and the restaurant has very high quality and reasonably priced. The staff in the restaurant, lobby and at the pool were all very attentive. I will especially mention Oswaldo Arenas, who was the manager I communicated before and through our stay. Very flexible, easy going and always finding good solution. Highly recommended place.

'My kids really enjoyed the pool area, it s very big, and has all levels for non-swimmer, 1.80,, 2,20 and up to 3 m deep. Great service of food and drinks at the pool. Remarkable architecture. To stay in a repurposed hacienda that was founded in 1529 is a very special experience. Perfectly manicured gardens, incredible vegetation and pool area. The size of our room and the view towards garden and pool area was very nice. Friendly staff, the bell boy was very knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the premises. He shared very valuable information about the history and the facilities. Our restaurant servers Dante and Alberto ( he was worked there for 14 years ) were very professional and friendly.

Love the place, the rooms and the atmosphere! We went there to relax for a few days and everything was great except for a ice cold pool. It's so unfortunate because we will not be coming back because the pool is not heated. If you don't care about that please do go. It's an amazing place

We stayed for one night. We spent one afternoon in the pool. Pool size and water temperature were very nice however water was not as clear as usual. I believe some additional filtering is needed. Pool service was bad since the pool guy was always talking in the kitchen and not taking orders from guest. Reception guys and bell boy very good. Rooms are almost new. Beds and bath pretty nice. It has a garden. Nice place for families with kids. Please do something to improve the water quality of your pool. It will give you 5.

The hotel is clean. The decor is modern. The pool is very relaxing and the perfect temperature. At times the pool was completely empty and very enjoyable. I had the cheapest room so it was small but it was ok for my purposes. The fresh juices and fruits at breakfast were good.

Brand new hotel ,rooms are good, pool is excellent. Breakfast just average. On big downside of pool area is sewage odor near lower garden area.

We stayed in the governors suite, it was nice and spacious with two rooms, sofa bed in the living/dining room area and two semi-accessible restrooms, one in each room. Plenty of water bottles inside the rooms and small little store that sells drinks and basic stuff -over the counter meds, hats, swimming suits… We had two wheelchairs with us and the hotel is pretty much accessible, except for the parking lot inside the hotel, which is secured, and the swimming pool area because the ramps are very steep, so you would need a few people to get the wheelchairs down safely. Breakfast buffet was great, with many healthy options and good customer service. A couple of us developed allergies inside the room, possibly because of the a/c filters or carpet, we’re not really sure. On the other hand, jacuzzi is small and water was not hot for a jacuzzi, so some small children were in it and we couldn’t use it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - from the front desk, to the cafeteria, to the cleaning staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The view of the mountains from the room was gorgeous. We didn't take advantage of the pool or hot tub, but it looked lovely. The breakfast was very surprisingly delicious! The hotel is far enough away from the city center that it's relatively quiet, but we took taxis to and from the center. The hotel has very good security and the front desk is staffed 24/7. The only downsides (which aren't much): the room did not have a refrigerator or microwave, and aromas of food entered our bathroom from the hotel kitchen. It was mostly the smell of hot cakes, so it wasn't necessarily unpleasant. I hope this hotel stays in my price range so I can return.

The hotel has a good location for my interests. I most enjoyed the large and very well kept gardens. All food and drink can be served there, or inside. The buildings and appliances are very good quality, so are the pools. Even the pool loungers are comfortable. There was some nice Santa decoration outside, and a beautiful traditional Crib and Christmas tree in the Reception area. Fruit platter was very nice every morning.

My family and I went to visit family in Cuernavaca. We stayed in this hotel. The rooms were excellent! The breakfast Buffet was beyond delicious and the pools were perfect temperature. The staff was always attentive and their laundry service is 24 hour turn around time and left my clothes great! The place is clean and beautiful! I can go on. Great Hotel!

We loved the gardens and the second pool because the water was at a good temperature even though we went during the rainy season.

The breakfast was really good, traditional Mexican style breakfast. There were no American or Continental options - just very good mexican breakfast. Especially Sunday morning it was an amazing array of choices from pancita (tripe soup) and pozole (hominy) to quesadillas made at the moment. The pool seems to be the main attraction of the hotel and the kids loved it. There is a nice little Palaba next to it where parents can sit and enjoy a book or a beer while the kids play.

Good if you want a clean bed to sleep in, in a good location and are going to be spending most of your time out and about.

Tepoztlan is a magical place; its people, history and food are outstanding, two days is not enough to enjoy it fully. Flor de Cera Hotel gave us a place to make our stay even more sublime; the room we stay face the Tepozteco hill and it is a intoxicating view that transport you to a moment where past , present and future converge elevating you to a higher state of consciousness. Totally recommend staying there .

Loved the room with the view overlooking the beautiful mountains, and the gentle breeze blowing into the room through the door. There was also a nice porch. Everything very clean and safe. The owner was really super nice and friendly. We really liked it and will come back for sure next time. Thank you so much Flor de Cera!

This Hotel is amazing, very relax atmosphere, if you need anything they don’t take a long time to do it, we had a room close to the pool, it has a little garden with a chimney at nighttime they turn on and we had a great time sitting and talking very relaxed, in the mornings they bring a little basket with coffee and little cookies so you can start your morning either outside in the little garden or in your room, we had ours outside beautiful days we had, the pool is amazing has beds so you can relax in the pool or under an umbrella too, the pool is nice and the water temperature is nice, we had an amazing couples massage,very good at their job, they have a jacuzzi and a sauna room, they do yoga classes for the ones they like, they have a Temazcal wich we didn’t do, but the views are amazing you can see the Tepozteco Mountain right there and the gardens are beautiful they have fruit trees, we love it and we will return!

This hotel was simply amazing. The staff members were incredibly friendly, helpful, and eager to please. The site was beautiful, with a fantastic pool and hot tub, impeccably manicured grounds, a fragrant citrus grove, and, best of all, incredible views. Unlike many hotels in Tepoztlàn, this one is in a very quiet area. The overall vibe was relaxing and quiet, even on a summer Saturday. The hotel's food was great (we had breakfast, poolside snacks, and local craft beer). Our room was clean, spacious, and well-decorated. The bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless, and the shower was the best we've experienced in a Mexican hotel in terms of water pressure and temperature. (We were grateful to receive a free room upgrade in celebration of a birthday.) We will definitely return.

Everything about our stay at Amomoxtli was exceptional! From the moment we checked in with Edgardo, we felt taken care of. The grounds, pool and mountain views are gorgeous, and all the staff are so kind and helpful. We enjoyed massages at the spa and took advantage of the daily meditation and yoga practices. We so appreciated the little details like our morning coffee/treat basket and a welcome kit with pool essentials and bug spray. The breakfast is also extremely generous and delicious! Overall, this was the perfect getaway from Mexico City for a few days and we cannot wait to come back.

Gorgeous gardens and grounds, quiet rooms with extremely comfortable beds, lovely heated pool with mountain views and excellent pool side drinks and snacks. Enjoyable activities including yoga and even a New Year’s Eve classical concert that was delightful. Sarah is kind and attentive. Restaurant menu varied and delicious, beautiful preparation and service. 20 minute walk to town but in exchange you get peace and some solitude. Traffic in the little town can be backed up, leave a little extra time

Amomoxtly is an outstanding spa. We celebrated my wife's birthday and it was an awesome experience. The pool is great, we got some rain and being in the pool while it rains was great. The restaurant is one of the best I've even been. Next time I go to Mexico City, for sure I'll take the trip to Tepoztlan and stay in this place again.

Don't be fooled by the simple look on the outside. The inside is very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. The pool and hot tub in the back is very nice. I had a very nice massage at the space by the pool. There is a nice bar just across the street, but if you walk down the street there are about 5-7 other nice places to hangout at night. The area is called Rio Mayo. Price was approximately $80 dollars.

Stayed here for 3 days and was very satisfied with the service and room I got here. The hotel and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staffs were very nice and genuine. Though I’ll have to say if you don’t speak Spanish you may have a difficult time. It’s on a busy street so it easy to get to. It’s surround by a nice neighborhood. There’s a lot of restaurants and stores nearby for easy access to food and miscellaneous. It has a pool, a restaurant, avery, and pretty all the necessities that you may need. The price is decent and it’s worth staying here.

The hotel was very modern, clean, and the service in every aspect was outstanding. We also appreciate that there is a in-ground swimming pool (although we did get to use it). The best thing going for this hotel is the adjoining restaurant, every meal we had there, breakfast, late lunch, dinner, you name it, was outstanding in its preparation, not mentioning the attentive service. The valet parking service is also highly appreciated. We very much recommend this hotel for your stay at Cuernavaca.

Not a frequent user of Cuernavaca hotels but always used the chain hotels and some other popular names. In my experience, this hotel beats all the rest. Not only the location is unbeatable, having an excellent restaurant in the premises is a nice touch, not the usual hotel menu. Staff is well preprared and pool-garden area is very Cuernavaca style with a somewhat elegant touch.

I had a room with a view of the pool and a nice balcony. The room was quiet, modern, and everything worked. The staff seem to really enjoy their work and it is reflected in their attitude towards their guests. The free VALET parking also can't be beat.

Everything was as expected and more. Spacious rooms, gorgeous property, good food at the restaurant, heated pool. We went with family and friends, and we spent a lot of time at the restaurant, which is in the outside grounds, and it was perfect to catch up with loved ones. Hope to be back!

The hotel is located right across a supermarket in a safe neighbourhood. They have a wonderful restaurant that serves excellent food. The lawns are well maintained and beautiful with different varieties of plants. The bed was big and comfortable. They have 3 different pool areas, which provides a variety.

In general we got what we paid for: a room, a private bathroom and two pools. The hotel has a huge parking area, so our car was safe during the trip. Pools are nice!

everything was excellent, from the staff, the pool, the food, the cleanness, the view. its really a nice place , plenty of clean towels, it has lots of entertainment for rent. a lovely gateway to relax.

There are two pools. Efforts were seen to constantly maintain the water clean. The lawn in the garden was well maintained, lush and very cozy. Many of the restaurants in the hotel are rip-offs, but this hotel was moderately priced, so we ate and drank in the hotel several times.

La verdad fue solo pasar la noche en ese sitio ya que el motivo del viaje fue por una celebración, pero si tengo otra oportunidad de ir por allá, mi selección será hospedarme en ese sitio ya que me gustó el espacio de la habitación, los cuidados de esta, el cuidado de áreas verdes y el servicio en general, sin duda es un buen lugar para pasar un fin de semana.

We loved our room "without" TV! We had a nice view of the mountains from our 2nd story patio. Marco, the owner was one of the nicest, funniest and most accommodating hosts we've experienced in our many booking.com stays. Janet and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to our needs. The breakfast was great with various fruits, yogurt, granola, wonderful healthy blender drink, hearty toast and coffee. The fruit plate was a work of art. Later we had a delicious fish lunch with great guacamole & chips. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and serene. We both had hour long massages. We enjoyed our entire relaxing stay. A great respite from busy Mexico City. One word of caution would be the streets in the village are step, narrow and have uneven cobble stones. The movie "The Magnificent Seven" was made there in 1960 and the village has grown much larger now. There are many shops, street vendors and restaurants in Tepoztlán!!

We were so lucky to choose Hotel Teocalli. It's in a perfect location: just a short walk to restaurants, bars. shops in the town centre. The grounds are truly delightful: a lush, green oasis with beautiful tiled pathways and sparkling fountains. Our room was lovely: spacious, gracefully decorated and very clean. We spent one long afternoon lounging in the sun and enjoying the pool as the friendly the staff brought us delicious snacks and drinks. Great breakfasts too, and healthy! Everyone we met at Hotel Teocalli was super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go back! Highly recommended.

Hotel Teocalli is a gem in the heart of Tepozlan. Beautiful setting with a small garden and a pool for an afternoon chill. The rooms are very nice and clean with beautiful view on the mountain. The hotel staff are the nicest we have ever met, and the hotel manager don Marco was always present to make sure we have everything we need. This place was so magical. They also have massage, yoga and Temazcal service which I highly recommend.

Very close to Centro, very welcoming staff, nice pool, comfortable room and bed. No need for AC in March as temps were cool enough and no mosquitos hence the nets in the pictures. Breakfast was very light and healthy. The place is cared for with love and offers yoga and recommends massage. Neither did we participate in. I would return.

Beautiful property with very spacious rooms. The central courtyard and pool were stunning. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. I was there with my wife on New Year’s Eve and they hosted an amazing dinner with an incredible Tova singer.

I only used the restaurant for breakfast, but it was nice and great food, especially the fresh fruit. I wish they had fresh squeezed orange juice available... Staff were all very friendly, especially Concepcion (spelling?), who very nicely called all the bus companies to get me local bus schedules to/from Mexico City and Taxco. This hotel is actually an amazing value... nice pool area too. There is a 24 hour convenience store on the corner. Enjoy lovely Cuernavaca here.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and fall in love with it every time I go back. The gardens, pools and overall surroundings of the hotel are delightful and very clean! The staff is very helpful and very polite. By far, this is the best hotel in Cuernavaca.

A great hotel for the weekend if you are in Mexico City... 75 minutes from Bus Station in Mexico City to Bus Station in Cuernavaca. The hotel offer packages with meal or onoly accomodation, massages, 2 pools & 2 jacuzzi, restaurant, etc...

our room was big, clean, and comfortable, and the pool is really awesome. we were chilling there in the late evenings and it was super cool. it is a nice place to stay and we got probably the best deal in the city in terms of price/quality for our last-minute booking!

The best for my family and me was the heated pool. The room was pretty good and the option of having Netflix in the room was a plus for my kids specially. The service we received was excellent, specially from Domingo Rios y Victoria.

Heated nice pool. Good buffet breakfast on weekends. Good value for the money compared with other hotels in Cuernavaca that are highly overpriced.

We rented two rooms on the ground floor because there was a wheelchair in my party of 6 pax. The facility was friendly to accommodate the wheelchair; however, manouvering the wheelchair throught the facility was a challenge since there are very steep cobble stone roads to get to the rooms. It requires a man's strength to push that wheelchair. The Hotel was neat, comfortable, beautiful with trees, palm trees, flowers, foliage and with very pleasant atmosphere. the suits are large, spacious with wood floors and tile in bathroom and foyer area. The room decor is very nice. We used the pool that was heated and enjoyed it very much. We wished management had set the umbrellas, tables and chairs around the pool while in our stay during the week, they did set them up only by thursday, when the weekend was approaching. too bad! The Hotel appears not to have enough room to store the pool lounge chairs because they were stacked up in front of our two ground floor rooms big windows which faced the pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise in Cuernavaca. The hotel attempts to mirror a Moorish design, very unique to "typical" 4-star hotels in Mexico. The hotel is different; a small lobby, but everything else is "oversized" for a typical hotel. The grounds are very nice, and well kept. Two swimming pools, with grass and pool service, chaise lounges, towels, drinks and food, similar to a resort. The room was oversized from the norm. Very nice, very clean and quick responding maintenance to a small issue. The restaurant was very nice. There is an outside patio and an inside restaurant. A large bar, all with extremely good service, and very good food. The hotel is not in the Centro, where I usually try to stay, but located close to the main autopista between Mexico City and Acapulco. There are many good rstaurants very close to the Villa Bejar if you want to get out of the hotel/resort. The hotel is much larger than I expected, which requires quite a bit of walking to get to the "main" area of the hotel, but a small price to pay for the beautiful grounds. Our room had a small grass are outside that you could use, surrounded with plants to block other peoples view and access to the room. A very nice touch. I give Villa Bejar a 5-Star recommendation.

As always, the attention from all the staff is fantastic. They are all great. The rooms are comfy and have AC and ceiling fans. The food is good, but a bit expensive. The Sunday brunch is delicious. One of the pools is warm, very good for kids. It is my favorite property in Cuernavaca.

Of all of my travels - this may be my favorite stay. I was in the Deluxe Queen suite and the view was absolutely breathtaking. You wake up to a sunrise coming up over the mountains as you overlook the city. So much natural light and fresh air! The location also couldn’t have been more convenient—the city center was just a short 3 minute walk away. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I couldn’t recommend this place more and look forward to bringing friends to visit!

The view from our room was amazing, you could see the whole mountain. The room was comfortable and clean. The host was very nice and helpful. The posada was located one block away from downtown Tepoztlán, which was very convenient.

The views were amazing (as the photos indicate), the location very central, and the bed was comfortable: all perfect for a weekend stay. The owner was quick to respond and very welcoming!

Todo estuvo excelente, lo único que no nos encantó fue que no hay elevadores, los escalones son muy altos y cuesta trabajo subir, además de ser más cansado. La otra cosa que me hubiera gustado es que contaran con algún contacto con tierra física para poder cargar mi auto eléctrico.

Me gustó mucho la estética del hotel, el personal muy amable al igual que el servicio fue muy bueno, lo único malo es que no todas las habitaciones tienes aire acondicionado cuando en los detalles de la propiedad marcaba que sí y el pequeño espacio para estacionarse.

El precio final de la estancia fue mayor a la qué estaba descrita en la página de Hoteles.com... de 1700 pasó a 2700. Tengan cuidado. El lugar y la atención fueron agradables!

Every staff member was so kind. And the restaurant was delicious. There's a small store which is very convenient. I would highly recommend a stay at Aristos.

Come during the week and off season you will find peace and quiet, the cleanes is top notch. Grownds and pool is super clean. Wish restaurant menu will have more choices, bring a doggy bag because it closes early, bring your own hair dryer, wish to have a bigger mirror.. overall we like and we will return.

It’s clean, if you’re planning to travel with kids is a nice place because the hotel has a playground and pool for kids.

The gardens and the pool are nice, clean and well kept. Beautiful old trees. My hotel room was quite big, AC or open windows. Coffee machine and filters when requested, the same goes for bottled water. Hot water at all hours for shower or tub. The hacienda type building is spacious but there are few comfortable zones for chats or reading. Reception and bell boys are very nice and helpful. Good waiters that need better equipment.

Brand new hotel in this small town (opened July 2017). There were very few people here during the week after New Years. Beautiful pool, grounds, common areas and two rooftop jacuzzis. Also a large rooftop terrace and restaurant/bar with great views. Large rooms, with great shower. In terms of service, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. If Spanish is not your first language it may be difficult to get help with anything, but they went out of their way to find an english-speaker to translate and everything worked out perfectly in the end. Definitely recommend this place.

The decor and the design of the property are a cut above, especially in this price range. The pool area was also quite nice.

Hotel is fairly new (opened a few months ago). It seemed we were the only guests, as we haven't seen or heard anyone else. We asked for a bigger room, as we are a family, but they didn't allow any flexibility and sticked to the room they had reserved for us, even if it was for just one night. The hotel was lovely, but it lacked on warmth and hospitality.When we arrived they quickly switched on all the lights and it didn't feel very welcoming. They definitely need more experience to complete a satisfying customer experience. Pool is not heated and ice cold! Breakfast staff on the roof terrace was very accommodating though and made our breakfast experience very special. We also enjoyed very much the jacuzzi.

Charming little hotel that definitely has the potential, but perhaps not the incentive, to become something extra. Clean and with design details that are excellent (wanted to bring home the chairs in the lobby), nice pool area, good rooftop with views, secure parking, good location. As with so many such places, there are small things that are not great; some personnel not quite good enough, rooms nice but without character, brunch is a sometimes good sometime odd mix of Mexican/American. Please, please remove the TV's from the rooftop and skip the loud radio. A small lobby bar would definitely be a plus for the ambiance. Recommended if found at palatable price.

This hotel offers much more than comfort and natural beauty. It is decorated with extremely good taste, practically constituting a museum of Mexican folk-art carefully selected by its owner over a period of decades. So much to see, so much to enjoy. That also goes for the gardening. The variety of local flowers is immense, and constant care makes you feel like living in a botanical garden. Add to this comfort everywhere, in first class furniture in living rooms, dormitories, and bathrooms. Great swimming pool with heated water. We are definitely returning.

Such a beautiful property in a beautiful setting. We extended our stay by one night because we enjoyed it so much. The balcony looked out toward the gorgeous mountains. The pool provided a fun distraction during the middle of the day. The breakfast was made to order, with care. Would definitely stay here again.

The bad On our second day when we cam back from our party late at night, the bed was not made. The floor not cleaned. They put extra water bottles though.

Its an OK property. Home transformed into a hotel. 20 min walk to downtown. Clean, nice simple pool, garden is smaller than it appears in photos. Friendly staff. Check-in and check-out takes a long time, I would change this given that it took 30 mins to check-in and again to check out.

The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful balcony and view of the creek. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. I have stayed at Borda Hotel several times in the last couple of years, However the room I recently stay in is at the top of the building and close to the elevator which was quiet, but the bathroom vent was close to some fans on the roof that sometimes were a little noisy. Also, there was limited hot water. Other than that, it is a great place to stay, great value for your money, I'll definitely stay there for my next trip to Cuernavaca

Lo utilizamos para pasar una noche, en donde reservamos un día antes y nos fue muy útil. Es un hotel muy sencillo, pero de cuartos amplios y muy limpios, no debe uno de esperar lo que se recibe de una cadena importante de hoteles, pero por el precio, fue excelente, solo cambiaría el sillón de la entrada que está roto y que sirviera la maquina de café, por los demás estuvimos contentos.

My family stayed here for New Years and it was great. We were able to reserve the room online in advance. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the place was not noisy except for obviously the New Year's Eve party they had which had music going on until 3am. Normally the hotel restaurants I visit have mediocre food, but this restaurant has amazing Mexican food. My family has high standards, but we gave our compliments to the chef! The service in the restaurant and pool area were also very good. The New Year's buffet was superb, and it was a fun party with a great band that made you want to keep dancing all night. From the balcony, you get nice views of the volcano Popocatepetl. The only reason I am giving this 4 out of 5 stars is that the pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was only lukewarm most of the time. Small children tended to take over the hot tub because it was the only area of the pool that was bearable. Also, they did not have enough lounge chairs so you often had to get up early to snag them. I do like, however, that they have a little yard area behind the pool where you can lounge in the sun if the kids in the pool/hot tub get too noisy. So if I didn't care about spending time in the pool area, I would give this hotel 5 stars.

Comfortable bed, clean room, working facilities, in hotel pool side restaurant, friendly staff. Overall very good place to stay. Only complaint is exercise equipment broken or not working . Guests who want to run and are not familiar with the area will not run outside and must use in hotel gym. So it is important that they ensure the gym is in working order.

This motel has only been open about 1 1/2 years. They had their growing pains at first with small things, but now they are really on track with their customer service. The rooms have large flat screen TV's with plenty of channels in english, it is an exceptionally clean motel. The resturant and bar are one of the highlights of this motel. The food is delicious with a mixture of Mexican and American dishes. You can even get an order of Chicken wings with " Franks Original Red Hot sauce " The motel is also a short walking distance to a new Wal-Mart and Sam's club. If you are here as a tourist then you may want to stay in one of the other Tourist hotels such as the Cocoyoc or maybe the Dorados, but if you are here for business and want a quiet friendly place to stay. THIS IS THE PLACE.

The room was large, comfortable, well lit and had everything we needed. The bathroom was comfortable, large and had some nice amenities. The grounds of the hotel are very pleasant and well kept and the pool, although on the small side, was pleasant to swim in. There is parking inside the hotel and the breakfast is quite good. Service was impeccable throughout. One of the best things is that they provide guests with filtered / purified water not from plastic bottles, but in glass bottles they sanitise themselves. Good wifi throughout. I would definitely book this hotel again in a future stay.

Small hotel, very clean, comfortable bed, big bathroom, very kind staff. The house is really nice, and it has some very nice furniture and antiques. But some things are just old and look dirty, like the upholstered sofas and chairs. The vegetation is really exuberant but there is an excess in old pots with plants all around. It could use a little landscape planning. The night staff and waiter were very kind, the Sunday manager not so much. The wifi is intermittent. Overall nice stay. We did not use the pool because we had a wedding, but it looked really inviting.

This place is an oasis of beauty and tranquility. The gardens are lush and beautiful. The owner has a passion for rare plants and orchids and tends to them herself, which only adds to the uniqueness of the place. The main house is beautifully decorated with art from the owners’ friends and family, many of whom are artists. The breakfast was delicious and the staff attentive to every need. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever had while traveling. The owner told us she had the mattresses especially made for the comfort of her guests. Enjoy!

My girlfriend and I debated the shear expense of the place and looked for others (full on Valentines Day, but check out Casa Fernanda). This ended up being a such a wonderful experience the price is a bit beside the point. We ended up with a private detached suite with a semi-private terrace that joined a promenade overlooking the city and mountains beyond. Morning and evening we swam in a pool that as other reviews mentioned is kept at about 75F / 25C which is perfect for the morning and sunsets and bobbing around with that special someone. On the topic of water our room also had a jacuzzi tub which made a fun after-dinner activity. I believe there are two schemes for pricing, as despite the "European Plan" designation the rate booked through this site did not include breakfast (although staff inquired about vouchers). Coffee on the terrace was a delight, but breakfast for 180 pesos didn't stack up, consisting of a yawn inducing hot bar, juices and a tortillero. The below average morning meal lends credibility to other reviewer's comments about the poor quality of the dining experience. We later cancelled our reservations for dinner here opting instead for Axitla, which is literally the best meal I've ever eaten in Mexico. I will credit the hotel with an unforgettable Pina Colada served poolside and the bar's willingness to serve up ice for some special drinks we brought with us.

Amazingly beautiful and well kept grounds, spectacular views, magical pool area and very clean, newly resurfaced pool, beautiful restaurant, superb breakfasts with best views in Tepoztlan. Room was impeccably clean and very spacious. Bed was comfortable, linens good. Lots of hot water in shower. Large, well light bathroom. Great toiletries. Wonderful, attentive staff. Many waiters, many gardeners, many cleaning ladies, and helpful front desk service. Good security at front gate. Feels super-safe. Excellent transportation provided from and to Mexico City. Loved our very professional driver. Last but not least: This hotel is an important cultural landmark in Mexico. It was the country house belonging t the nationally known painter Cordelia Urueta, her sister the playwright’s Margarita Urueta, and their super-famous movie director brother. They were related to the muralist Sequeiros, and they entertained many of Mexico’s most famous artists, actors and writers at this very place. There is original art everywhere, of extremely high quality. A magical hotel in a Magic Town.

I usually do not rate hotels as high I have rated this one BUT I had to since they were a real gem! The ONLY real issue I had with the hotel was the fact that the bed was hard as a rock and they have no air conditioning. That being said its Mexico so AC is not really something they do anyway! It wasn't too bad once the sun went down. I would suggest going to this town only during winter and spring months to avoid the heat! The staff was amazing. The front desk was polite, spoke English and really tried their best to accommodate my husband and I. They event let my uncle park his car when he spent the day with us. The food here is amazing. If you want local Mexican food go to the little town, if you want more upper scale food stay at the hotel. The hotel had a great pool and I strongly suggest in April getting up and watching the sunrise from 7:30AM to 8:00 AM.... you will not regret it! TRUST US you'll love this little place, its posh and neat! I WILL TOTALLY being going back!!!!!

This was truly a magical place. Full of comfortable spots to relax on the grounds, lovely gardens, a beautiful room with a view of the pool, the town of Tepoztlan, and mountains all around. At night, the twinkling lights of Mexico City can be seen. The bed was so comfortable, a great jacuzzi tub amd shower. The breakfast was very good with a choice of included items. We ate dinner and lunch here as well on a couple of the days The staff here truly understand service and are always so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to return!

Mocca Is a great boutique hotel on the edge of town. I only stayed for one night, but I really wish I could have stayed longer. So many great things about the place: - Friendly staff. - A beer on arrival. Very welcome after quite a long journey. - The most comfortable bed I can ever remember sleeping in. - Phono lead to connect your device to a sound system in your room. - Netflix on TV. - Excellent hot shower. - Beautiful gardens, sun loungers and pool (no children allowed). - Nice balcony in room. - Decent wifi. - Killer breakfast (fresh juice, coffee, fruit/granola/yoghurt, eggs/ham/beans, pastries). - There's also a steam room and a treadmill/cross trainer which I didn't use. No negatives to report. Great value, highly recommended.

After a busy week in Mexico City, we wanted to get away together for some relaxation. Mocca hotel offered exactly what we needed, great staff, big comfortable rooms, sun, swimming pool and jacuzzi in the perfect garden of this eco-friendly hotel, and all that for a very fair price! The Dutch owner was the perfect host and saw to all our needs and questions about the town. We highly recommend doing a temazcal with traditional ritual! Tepoztlan is an amazing quiet little town, with great restaurants, culture and surrounding nature.

Everything was great, the best hostess, very good breakfasts, you feel pampered all the time. Is a great place to relax, a small garden, and a small pool, but no noises that can disturb your peace. I would go back

I was in town for a friends wedding and needed an easy, clean, and charming place to stay with my fiance. Rocco, the owner, was always easily reachable (by phone or whatapp) and pretty much always on site. He welcomed us with a drink when we got there, and gave us a personal tour of the room and amenities. He even offered to lay out some rose petals to help me welcome my lady! The room itself was super charming with a balcony, artisanal soaps, and super soft and clean bedsheets -- though it should be noted that it had an open concept shower, for those who may not be a fan of that. The bed itself was otherwise super comfortable. The hotel also included breakfast, and on one of my two days it was more substantive where they cooked up some chilaquiles. They also helped us arrange a couples massage on site which was lovely and a great deal to boot! The city center is a short 5-10 minute walk away otherwise and the hotel is easily reachable by taxi as well (about 35 pesos to get to and from there). Highly, highly recommended to anyone staying in Tepoztlan, especially if you're traveling with a significant other!!

This place is so charming, relaxing and clean. It was even prettier than it looked in the pictures. It's quiet and has beautiful views from the upper floors and roof. It feels miles away from the busy main streets, but it's really only a few blocks. We came here after spending 2 nights at the hotel that is ranked #3 for "best value" on here - which was more expensive, less clean, less comfortable and had medicocre service. What a thrill it was to discover that Mocca was so much better - just wish we had stayed there the whole time. The owner and staff were so warm and helpful - they even helped my boyfriend plan a day trip that was totally off the beaten path (even finding a taxi driver willing to take us and negotating the price down).

The hotel is small but really quaint, beautiful and comfortable. The swimming pool which was the main feature we were looking forward too, was comfortable and warm and amazing. The rooms were small but comfortable and cozy. The place itself is beautiful, and calm, you get to relax exceptionally well, and it wasn’t expensive. It includes a very simple breakfast of fruit, yogurt, a pastry and coffee or tea, but you can request a sandwich, eggs, juice etc at an additional cost that is excellent value. They can also prepare snacks and other food throughout the day! Which was great for the middle of swimming. The staff is attentive and absolutely lovely, ready to accommodate and make sure you have a great stay! The owner is welcoming and really pleasant and everyone is nice! loved our stay, will be staying here again in the future!

I stayed last August with my husband in the Real del Sol. It was a nice stay. The room was very clean and we had view of the pool, which we used after a hot day wondering though downtown. The staff was very warm, the owner or manager was very friendly with us, she even cooked for us dinner at the time the restaurant was closed. For breakfast we tried the mexican 'chilaquiles' which were spicy but delicious. The only downside of the hotel is that it not located in the heart of downtown, so we had to take a 10 minute walk to get to the main attractions. But since the price was very good for Cuernavaca, we cannot complaint too much about its location.

This hotel is very conveniently situated if you want to go downtown on foot. The room was clean and confortable, the beds were awesome. Also, the pool was very clean. The only negative point was the fact that certains employees at the reception were rude and reluctant to give us the service we were allowed to receive. Moreover, as we reserved with Booking.com, our breakfasts were included...we had to fight the first morning to get them free.

The breakfast is classic Mexican food. The pool is good ,The room is pretty good.

Spectacular. Above & beyond. Incredible. Stunning. Just a few words that immediately pop into mind when I think of this boutique hotel. Felt safe and secure my entire stay, staff checks in on you often and very attentive. The room is very spacious, comes with comfortable bedding, iron, bathrobes, slippers, Nespresso machine, lavender water, tailored scented body wash and lotion. The spa is worth every peso. This hotel is meant for someone whom wishes to relax. Given that info there's no gym on property. But the spa has a hot sauna, wet sauna, hydrotherapy pool, various private rooms for massages, full showers and locker rooms. This is an adult only hotel so you'll miss the screams of crying children or loud cartoons. But hopefully the magical sunrises and sunsets can make up for that.

Casa Fernanda was truly a wonderful experience from the moment of arrival to check out. The service was impeccable, and the guest advisors, were world class (especially Arantxa). I traveled as a solo woman from CDMX and they provided me with clear directions on how to arrive from CDMX without any problems. The rooms were very clean and smelled amazing! Their products were top quality, and the on-site spa was one of the best I have ever experienced in my travels. I enjoyed the pool every day I was there, and the restaurant on-site was also fantastic. The hotel was walking distance to the downtown area of Tepoztlan, making it super easy to explore this beautiful small town. Truly a wonderful experience overall, and I cannot wait to return! 10/10!

I highly recommend a stay at Casa Fernanda. The experience will exceed your expectations. They do a great job to personalize your stay, which includes allowing you to choose your room aromas & coffee or by allowing room service. The pool area is an oasis and as you walk to the restaurant, you can smell sweet guava from a remarkable tree on their property. The entire property is thoughtful and tasteful. The food at the restaurant was wonderful and the rooms make you feel like you are walking into a Parachute ad. I have nothing bad to say, though would have enjoyed a bar fridge =)

My partner and I had a 10/10 stay at Artensanos 11. Antonio and his dog Pach were excellent hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed and even brought us to the market, recommended some local food for us, and showed us the church. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is walking distance to everything in the town, only a 10-15 minute walk from the entrance to the main hike to the temple. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and peaceful, not noisy at all. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to hangout, watch the sunset and have some drinks - a great retreat from the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. I had read other reviews that said this hotel was too basic because there was no tv in the room, but if you are watching tv on vacation in tepoztlan, you’re doing it wrong! We had everything we needed during our stay at Artesanos 11! Would love to come back :) thank you so much Antonio!! P.S. Eat the Cecina de res tacos at Tacos Luna in the main square (little blue taco stand right by the taxis) - they will blow your mind.

⸻ I stayed at Hotel Artesanos XI from April 3rd to 6th, and it was a wonderful experience. The owner, Antonio, is incredibly honest, reliable, and always willing to help. He made me feel safe and well taken care of. He also has a dog named Bazzi — super cute and energetic, definitely the little star of the place! The location is excellent — just a 4-minute walk from the main square, so it’s very convenient but also peaceful and quiet. Although the room doesn’t have a TV or air conditioning, I was out hiking during the day and felt tired when I came back. After a shower and with decent Wi-Fi, I just relaxed with my phone and slept well. The whole atmosphere felt calm, safe, and cozy. If you’re visiting Tepoztlán and looking to connect with the energy and tranquility of the mountains, I highly recommend this hotel!

El señor Antonio y su husky Pach siempre nos recibieron con un amabilidad en las instalaciones del hotel; el señor Antonio nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones para platillo típicos por probar, lugares para comer y actividades por hacer. La habitación que nos tocó fue muy acogedora, siempre hubo agua caliente (aunque no fue muy necesaria por el clima caluroso de Tepoztlán) y la cama estuvo muy cómoda. El hotel está a un par de calles del zócalo de Tepoztlán a pie, si vas con auto, es mejor dejarlo en resguardo en el hotel y moverse a pie; hay muchas cosas a poca distancia para recorrer. Sin duda volvería a este hotel.

Excelente estancia y tal como dicen los comentarios anteriores, el señor Antonio te recibe súper amable y eficiente, y tal como dicen los comentarios con los puntos positivos es que es seguro,tranquilo,limpio, estás a 2 calles del bazar en el centro, los baños y regaderas súper modernos, y la cama deliciosa, los puntos malos son menores pero si importantes, no hay agua caliente, pero hace tanto calor que no se siente y no hay aire acondicionado, pero en cambio si hay 2 ventiladores, 1 estático en el techo y otro rotatorio en el piso.

More than a hotel, it felt like a great host opening their home to you. We were welcomed by the owner who lives on the grounds and his beautiful and friendly Husky, Pachi. The grounds are very green and pleasant. It’s not a large hotel so it has a very private feel. The rooms are simple but very cute and impecable. It is a very short walk to the center of town and the church. I would stay here again and again.

Nice hotel in beautiful Cuernavaca, however front desk, which was closed when I left Monday morning at 8 AM, was playing games delivering a receipt for the nights stayed, claiming everything from not knowing what a receipt is (and I do speak Spanish) to month end closing problems. It took several calls and messages to finally get one.

Walk everywhere. The room was wonderful and the property quiet and beautiful. Coffee in the room would be brilliant as breakfast is not served until 9am. I used the pool but it felt like it could use a good cleaning and it's odd to use it as breakfast and lunch diners are sitting right next to the pool. No lounge chairs by pool either.

Wonderful place. One caveat, if they would make the pool a truly heated pool it would be fantastic. Even better install a jacuzzi with really hot water. We’ve never found this kind of facility in Mexico and I think it would be a really big draw.

This hotel is located perfectly to walk to tourist destinations in Cuernavaca. Easy 1-1/2 minute walk to the Brady Museum (not to be missed), about 2-1/2 blocks to the cathedral and the Borda Gardens and about 2 blocks to Cortes' Palace, the outdoor market and the zocalo. The property is beautiful with lots of flowers, a nice pool and they provide a great breakfast. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else if I go back to Cuernavaca.

Huge room with sauna, tub and shower. Grounds are lovely, packed with orchids and plants and a lovely pool. Breakfast included on covered patio with excellent service. A true boutique experience in the lovely historic heart of Cuernavaca, right across the street from the fine Brady museum and two blocks from Cathedral. Quiet, restful. Very pleased.

Beautiful property, so lush and green. We loved our stay, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was delicious and staff very attentive. The pool was also great. My favorite part of our stay was the resident cat, she was very cute!

Exceeded our expectations! Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath plus sitting room condo with balcony overlooking grounds (no kitchen). This is a large, beautiful resort with immaculately maintained landscaping and excellent service. The on-site restaurant is outstanding and a very good value. Location is a quiet, gated neighborhood; taxi to the Cuernavaca historic district was about $5 US (one way, 2 people). Resort staff was very helpful in arranging day trips with private driver (such as to Taxco). There was some construction going on which did affect our sleep, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Resort staff did their best to minimize the impact. Only complaint is: no in-room coffee and no coffee available until 8 a.m. in the restaurant.

El servicio y atención de los empleados es excelente. Las instalaciones son bonitas y tienen 2 albercas y 1 chapoteadero. Lo que no me encantó fueron las habitaciones, demasiado sencillas, les falta mantenimiento y se escucha toooodo lo de las habitaciones vecinas :( pero si vas a una boda y necesitas hospedaje está muy bien.

Tiene mucho espacio y distintas actividades que se pueden realizar. El único detalle son las habitaciones que les falta mantenimiento, en mi caso la luz de la recámara no funcionaba y los muebles ya están un poco viejos y huelen ligeramente a humedad

This is a great spa and hotel, very comfortable and outstandingly clean. While the usual US amenities are not available at this resort, there is still much to do here. Take a taxi to the towncenter!!!

We stayed 3 days. I enjoyed so much the gardening of the hotel, how great care they give to it. I got up every morning to sit by the pool and enjoyed the birds sing. I enjoyed the outdoor pool with warm temperature. The restaurant breakfast was really good. Staff very courteous and respectful from beginning to end. I did not enjoy the uncomfortable bed and very thin pillow . So, my sleep time was not good at all. There were 4 of us and 3 of us had bad bed time experience. They need to change the mattresses and pillows. I had back pain for 3 days. Once I came back home, the pain went away . I don’t know if I am going back to that Hotel, unless they improve the bed experience. The city center was 1.5 km away, we did not mind the walking to the bus, that was a healthy experience.In fact, I wanted a quiet and small hotel no too close to the center. I really hope the owner pays attention to this review because this hotel has a great potential. This won’t be our last visit to CuernaVaca.

Old-World Charm! This is a stunningly beautiful hotel. Incredible stonework and tile everywhere. Gorgeous grounds with the best pool we’ve ever been to anywhere in the world, no question. The rooms were lovely-plenty of space with great amenities. The staff was exceedingly pleasant and helpful. The restaurant menu is great. Order the fish ceviche in red sauce-you won’t be disappointed. This place happens to make the best mojitos ever! All this at a most reasonable rate. Go!

The grounds are beautiful. The rooms were clean with fans & air conditioners. The buffet had numerous selections of tradition foods but also American breakfast. If buffet was too much, one could order ala carte from menu. Pool water was not cold. The staff could not do enough for us. We even had a manicure & pedicure at the hotel with help from staff calling a local site for us.

Have been here for 11 days now. Beautiful location, gorgeous gardens, 2 pools, spacious rooms. Breakfast is sumptuous - food is more like dinner for my taste but good tasting. Dinner is less wonderful but still ok. On the weekends the breakfast is even bigger.

a lovely stay everything went smoothly. i found the food in the restaurant particularly good and well priced. well situated in cuernavaca in a quiet and flowery area. the highlight of my stay was the swimming pool which was delighfully warm.

Es un lugar muy bonito rodeado de campos verdes, la piscina es muy linda y grande. Lo único que tal vez comentaría es que tienen poca variedad de platillos en el restaurante pero en general está bien, también.

The staff is nice. Property not bad but still when you go inside the shower it smells (water drainage). Also they should have warmer heater for the pool is so cold.

The only thing is that water in te pool was cold as ice, it shouldbe great if they warm it a little

The staff is very kind and was always ready to help me when I needed something. I was there for a wedding which was taking place in a hacienda further away. On the wedding day, there were no taxis available due to a holiday and I was worried I won't make it in time. But they helped me and I made it :)

Nice hotel with 2 pools well oriented towards children. Large rooms and beds but missing furniture to unpack. Would need some refurbishment, specially on the bath rooms. There is no elevator. The hotel is not downtown but isolated at the entry of the city. A cab/car is a must.

Swimming pool was not properly cleaned and it doesn’t have heating system, water was freezing cold however there weren’t many people so it was nice I liked that.

I can not rate Las Manianitas highly enough. It is a little bit of paradise on earth. The rooms are unique and wonderful. Our room had a working stone fountain in the courtyard, a patio with lounge chair and table set and a stone wall covered with bourgonvilla. The room itself was very comfortable and enhanced by stone columns, dark wooden beams, and a fire place. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The grounds are out of a fairy tale with beautifully maintained lawn and gardens, peacocks roaming about spreading their fans, colorful parrots and cranes and a beautiful swimming pool. The restaurant and bars are mostly outdoors as the weather is usually perfect. At night the lanterns are lit in the trees and the tables are illuminated by candles in glass domes decorated with freshl flowers. The food is first rate (we especially liked the desserts). Breakfast is complimentary and anything can be ordered from an extensive breakfast menu. The staff are extremely kind and courteous. Las Mañanitas is a very romantic hotel and a dream spot for a proposal or honeymoon. At the same time, it is also a wonderland for children and there were several lucky children enjoying the surrrounding when we were there. There is a staff member all day at a table in the corner of the garden supervising arts and crafts for the kids. Las Manianitas is not cheap but very much with the expensive. We can’t wait to go back!

This is quite possibly the best hotel experience we've ever had. The grounds are beautiful, everything is immaculate, the service is personal and warm. The dining experience was wonderful, the food delicious and the house wine is very good. We also enjoyed the outdoor bar and its craft mezcal cocktails. We also took advantage of the pool area, which was well-attended with both food & beverage service and cleaning. It was the perfect place to relax. Next time we'll give the spa a try. Oh yes, and we loved the macaws and the peacocks/peahens. The room itself was spacious and the bed comfortable. We had everything we needed. No matter when we set out the sign for housekeeping, it was always taken care of almost immediately. It was such an amazing stay. We can't wait to visit again.

Las Mañanitas is an amazing experience and attention to detail, from the gardens and the amazing pool to the rooms and the spa finalizing with the service and the restaurants. We dined at candlelight in the garden with piano in the background, the staff made everything possible so that our stay was an experience. We thanks all the staff at las Mañanitas for their hard work.

Everything from start to finish was superb. The only small detail was the little noise in the morning (7:30am) as they set up the tables for breakfast below the room I was staying at. But Service, food, accommodation, garden, pool - EVERYTHING was extremely pleasant.

One of my favorite places in all of Mexico. People--go!! Just luxuriate at the hotel/spa/pool. Don't be afraid -- Mexico is still a lovely place to visit.

Fue una estancia excelente y amena, Reservamos solo un noche, pero nos gusto tanto que decidimos quedarnos un día más. La atención es excepcional por parte de todo el personal pero principalmente Edgar es increíblemente amable y atento con los detalles, un gran hoster. La comida también es deliciosa y muy fresca. Las habitaciones estan muy limpias y te hacen sentir muy comodo con la naturaleza de alrededor. Volveremos a ir sin dudarlo.

Hotel acogedor y con muy buena atención por parte del personal. Está rodeado de una hermosa naturaleza que hacen el lugar especial. Un poco complicado regular la temperatura de la regadera, sale muy caliente o de repente se enfría, pero fuera de eso todo bien.

Todo bien excepto que cierran el restaurante muy temprano, entonces solo queda pedir por una aplicación de comida o salir a cenar. La alberca estaba un poco sucia, sin embargo cuando se los hice saber inmediatamente buscaron solución y la limpiaron. Personal muy amable.

El hotel se me hizo bonito un excelente servicio enfrente hay muchos restaurantes buena ubicación, se me hizo un poco cara la comida pero lo que pedí está rico pero en general muy bien los colores de la alberca se ven increíbles no hay elevador pero te ayudan a subir y bajar la maletas así que no es pesado

Todo el personal fue muy amable y servicial. Lo único que no me gusto fue que el último día que estuve, muy temprano por la mañana nos despertaron con unos ruidos constantes de unos arreglos que estaban haciendo parecer ser en el techo y en alguno de los cuartos lo cual fue incómodo porque queríamos descansar hasta más tarde.

Excelente ubicación y atención del personal de recepción y restaurante incluido el área de alberca. Puedes hacer check up later y disfrutar de.maa horas d estancia en el hotel. Me agarró la contingencia ambiental y tuve que salir después de las 21.30 hrs

La experiencia fue maravillosa, es un hotel pequeño, 9 habitaciones, con un gran servicio y super comodidad. La habitación terracota es un sueño, con 2 terrazas privadas y un gran jacuzzi. De verdad recomiendo este hotel para una escapada romantica o solo para ir a descansar y desconectarte. El jardin y la alberca en excelentes condiciones.

Estuve dos noches y la atencion, la limpieza y en general el hotel es una gran experiencia. Me parece que seria muy bueno que tuvierna una mini van o algo similar para trasnladar a sus huespedes a los lugares turisticos mas cercanos (ej. Tepoztlan, cuernavaca centr, etc) no importa que sea con un costo extra.

Una estancia increíble, el trato muy amable, el recibimiento desde la entrada fue cordial, el servicio perfecto e inmediato. Perfecto y muy recomendable para ir con tu pareja.

Hotel muy tranquilo, servicio de 10, comodidad 10. Volvería definitivamente. alberca con calentador solar (agua poco fría) y jacuzzi con agua caliente.

Came to Cocoyoc to enjoy a nearby music festival, and needed a nice, clean place to rest our heads a night. The Hotel Quinta Paraiso fit the bill! This is not a luxury hotel, but I noticed that here is a great place for families to gather to BBQ and let the kids enjoy the pool in safety. My only complaint is that the linens and towels are a little thread bare. However, my partner and I will remember our warm reception and attention we received from the staff. The hotel manager is an especially lovely guy who helped us immensely when we needed some help getting a pharmacy prescription filled. Very nice people, at the Hotel Paraiso, and very peaceful.

The price (around 50 USD/nigth, double room), the installations and the location close to Tepoztlan and Oaxtepec made of this hotel a good option to stay in Morelos and travel to the nearest and more interesting places. This hotel is a little hide but is easy to go there by public transport or by car. This hotel has a pool and a garden where you can to enjoy the weather of Morelos.

Very friendly staff and always ready to take care of you. The hotel is clean and cosy and has all the basics. Good value for money. Nice garden/pool area to chill. You can get help ordering food or a taxi at the front desk.

It's a wonderful option, around the corner from the fantastic Cocoyoc market, the swimming pool is very clean, we made BBQ as well, very fairly priced. The rooms were kept spotless. Thanks very much to Don Cesar and his staff for a wonderful stay !!!

We thought the hotel was lovely. The pool is a little small (compared to others in Cuernavaca) but a great temperature. The food was delicious, particularly the weekend brunch. It is a little hard to get food service when you are at the pool (there are no dedicated waiters for the pool area), and the waiter we had was a little snarky. But the biggest complaint I have is that the hotel charged MASSIVE additional fees for having 2 adults and 2 small children in our room. I didn´t realize this when I booked the room on Hotels.com (my bad), but I found it totally unreasonable and, frankly, felt robbed.

The hacienda is beautiful but a couple of issues could improve. The service isn't great, went by the pool at 10am and they were out of towels. Took them about 20 minutes to get me clean towels after asking 5 different staff members. The pool I feel is not suficiente for the number of rooms they have. The pool was always crowded and it's tough to get a chair. What I would highly recommend is the restaurant. It's beautiful, delicious food and great service.

Visited during the week and we practically had the hotel for ourselves, we enjoyed the pool, walking around the gardens, and personal attention. The history of this place is so amazing it was our main reason to stay here. The restaurant food is some of the best we have had in Mexico, everything is so delicious you can’t go wrong. I especially loved the quesadillas de flor de calabaza. The only thing I really disliked was the area surrounding the hotel, didn’t feel safe to walk at all, even taxi driver mentioned it wasn’t safe. Too far from Downtown Cuernavaca so make sure you are willing to take taxi/Uber every where you need to go.

Great stay, really. Beautiful hacienda, superb service, great food (had breakfast, lunch and dinners) wonderful swimming pool area, gorgeus gardens. Again...TOP NOTCH service by wonderful people. ( My only proactive yet important recommendation is to improve the bed. Queen-size, hard, OK linens...but it is not that much of a cost to have a great king bed instead of a so so Queen...makes a difference!). Upon check-in, receptionist could have been friendlier or more flexible in trying to accomodate my need of a King-size. Check-out was very flexible and friendly. I will come back.

A superb and breathtaking historical hacienda with amazing gardens, architectural elements, with peaceful and quiet surroundings. The staff were friendly and attentive to any requests. The restaurant offered a delicious and varied menu including a surprise breakfast buffet on Saturday. We enjoyed all of our meals there over a three day stay. The swimming pool is simply amazing and the water temperature was perfect. The room had a/c and all the expected amenities. The shower also had great water pressure and was very clean.

Wonderful property. Great pool and restaurant with very landscaping. Huge room with strong shower and really comfortable bed. Great location only a few blocks from bus terminal. Very quiet. Like a little urban oasis.

The location is perfect, it’s a 5 minute walk to the main square so you’re right at the city centre. The main building and the garden are beautiful. Loved the swimming pool. Breakfast was good but overpriced. Our room (more like a mini-house in the back of the garden) was spacious and had all the things we needed. Staff is friendly.

The property was gorgeous-beautiful colonial architecture. I just couldn't get enough of the views and taking photographs. Our favorite pool was the pool oasis. We felt safe within the walls/barriers of the hacienda property. We were successful in getting taxis from the hotel to a few places we needed to go to in Cuernavaca, in particular for Covid testing. The hotel staff were helpful in securing taxis for us and providing us with the rt cost for the taxi service. They also assisted us with scheduling a tour of the ruins and identified each fee including rt transportation, a tour guide and entry fees into the ruins. The food was also great. Staff were courteous, friendly and resourceful.

The place is a wonderful old hacienda with huge gardens and 2 big pools. The restaurant is good and on Sunday they have a huge brunch. The pools are wonderful and the weather is great - always springtime. Good stay if you are going to a wedding in the vicinity.

The gardens, the pools and the staff in the pool bar (my daughter felt and they immediately brought us ice without being asked and asked us if everything was okay), the rooms are really nice and spacious

Also Angel at the villa pool. Hope to come back soon !

Sandra and her family and staff were so accommodating. The hotel grounds are so nice for enjoying the sun, with all the plants, chairs and tables, and small swimming pool. Everyone has a private terrace which was really nice. There is a small fruit and veg shop nextdoor and a good local restaurant on the corner.

A good location about 10 minutes walk to the Zocalo and only 2 blocks from the Pullman de Morelos bus station. There are good cafes and a bar near there. Nice people, a good little covered porch-terrace for the room, and a swimming pool.

The staff was very nice and helpful. location is great. short 10 min walk to city center. Good eateries nearby. Cute little pool to cool off.

The hotel is really nice and quiet . incredible for a weekend get away. As I was going to a wedding I just stayed one night and did not use the facilities at the hotel (pool , spa). The garden is amazing, and the whole setting is very peaceful and relaxing. We had a lovely breakfast and the staff was very kind and helpful. I would put more garden furniture, although there is a hotel house with a very nice terrace. Nevertheless I would put more furniture on the garden if one wants just to relax, read and spend time sitting around. One thing that the hotel has to check is the shower (at least on my room) as it lacked of strength and the result was that most of your shower you get cold and this can create discomfort on the overall experience. Nevertheless, i would go back for another peaceful weekend.

It is a bit of a walk to the Centro Historico. The only downside was the chairs in the room were Willow type chairs, and the backs curved towards the seat. We could not comfortably use them. The pool area was nice although the pool water was cold.

We booked another hotel in Cuernavaca but when we saw it we got out running. Expedia saved our lives, I called them during the same time as we where trying to get out of the awful hotel we had booked and in only 10 minutes the awesome Expedia rep found La Casa Azul. From the minute we arrived at Casa Azul, the bell man kindly greeted us and helped us with our 6 luggages and HUGE box that had 2 car seats, besides our stroller and twins. The check in took 5 minutes and we arrived to our room with 2 queen beds, high sealings, perfect for our family. The staff is extremely nice, the restaurant is great (Victor and Leo). The pool was right in front of our room and we often ordered food service to our room. There is only one thing... the rooms actually have vintage deco and you have to be very careful with your kids so you wont break anything. There is a few stars but not high in case you have strollers. But other than that this is the hotel you want to stay in if you have children. WE LOVED IT! Hugs to all the staff all the way from LA, Ca. MUCHAS GRACIAS!

Lovely oasis within walking distance of central Cuernavaca, the Palacio de Cortez, the Robert Brady Museo (an absolute DON"T MISS) and the bontanical jardin. Beautiful gardens, two pools, a lovely restaurant with very good food. The breakfast that was included is a bit limited, but you can spend a few pesos and order more if you need. Wifi is free, but very spotty and we couldn't log on much of the time. However, you feel so far away and relaxed you may not miss the internet! Even though the hotel is centrally located, the room was completely quiet. Also, if you're planning a side trip to Taxco - which we'd recommend - the bus station is a block away! Very convenient!

We stayed 3 nights in Cuernavaca and we were able to walk most places from hotel. From the street the high fence surrounding Casa Azul hides this lovely hotel. Coming from Mexico City, Casa Azul was a great place to relax and charge our batteries. The pool and garden like surroundings were very nice and peaceful. The hotel is immaculate and there is great pride taken by the staff in maintaining the property. The room was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the room was decorated with very nice artifacts.

This most charming hotel is situated in the center of town. It is loaded with shops that are all curbside and often spill onto the streets. Our room had a balcony which opened over a busy cobblestone street where we also found street musicians to perform right below our balcony window. Within the hotel walls, you’ll find pools, an intimate and genuinely Mexican decored restaurant, and rooms that reflect an historic and humble culture.

During a stay in Cuernavaca last summer, this hotel was pointed out to me by my hosts, who live close by in Colonia Vista Hermosa, one of the city's best neighborhoods. Anticavilla Hotel is the result of the recent renovation of a grand, colonial hacienda-style home built about 30 years ago, though the original building appears centuries older. The colonial style outer walls and the principal street entrance--an archway with large wooden doors (closed and guarded after dark)--onto the circular driveway that leads to the original building's portico (reception) make one feel as if he or she has traveled to a bygone colonial era. Nevertheless, once you pass through reception and take in the splendor of the beautiful garden, the colonial style blends, not too gracefully, however, with a modern minimalism that might not appeal to some, including this reviewer. Yet the tranquility of the property and the exceptional, personal quality of the service, made possible by the small number of guestrooms (11), assuaged my personal antipathy for minimalist modern style. I was pleased with my junior suite, which was spacious, included a private patio, an antechamber/living room, sizable bedroom, and an amazing bathroom. What a shower! Though the room's decor was modern and minimalist, I got over that quickly. My 3 nights were wonderful and very relaxing, esp. the swim in the semi-Olympic pool. I highly recommend this hotel; it's worth the price and is worthy of its 5 star rating.

From the moment we arrived, we were amazed at the attention to detail from the parking attendant to the concierge, Arely. The property is beautiful and the lush grounds amazing. You feel extra special when you arrive because everyone is kind and receptive to your needs. The food at the Verdesalvia Restaurant (which is top notch) was delicious. The quality and flavor of the food is excellent. Everyone that goes must get spa treatment at Maikiki Spa. IT was a TRUE BLISS. Monset and the staff were very attentive to your needs and how to provide you the best service. Each room is unique and special. The rooms are large and very well decorated. Sitting out on the balcony, I was able to get some work done because the music from the birds and view of the lush grounds and pool made me feel pleasantly different. We are already planning to come back towards the end of this year. Worth the trip from San Diego, CA.

The hotel is super relaxing and luxurious. The staff are really friendly. Everything was great, but there were 2 things I disliked: - the pool should be warmer - there's a ridiculous massage cancelation policy: they menaced to charge the full price of a massage we were cancelling 12 hours before the scheduled time (didn't happen at the end but we had to argue about it)

A beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The room was very spacious and the bed might have been the best hotel bed I have slept in for quite some time. The pool was nice and clean. The restaurant looked great, unfortunately we were visiting family and didn't have time to give it a taste, but we will on our next stay at Anticavilla.

We had the smallest room but it was bigger than most standard hotel rooms and beautifully designed and furnished. The food in the restaurant was very good. Service was pleasant but a bit amateurish and slow at times. Lovely swimming pool area. Excellent valet parking and reception. An oasis of calm, much nicer than staying in the city (we had a car).

Good price however some rooms are very noisy if they face the highway. Needed to change room after the first night. Swimming pool very small, but for the price paid the hotel is good enough.

Did not like that it was located near a freeway where you can’t walk into a town to buy anything you had to always get a taxi if you needed to go shopping or into the zocalo. The really need a brigde or tunnel under the freeway so pedestrians can go to the mal Avanda. The hotel was very nice and clean and the breakfast was very good. Just the location is not too good for exploring.

Great option on the budget, the staff is very friendly and it has many amenities that are very convenient like the free breakfast and the free washer and dryer. The only downside would be the noise from the highway if you stay on that side of the hotel and in our case the towels were kind of old. Overall a pleasant experience.

The library, pool table harkened from Another time away from the constant barking of peoples cell phones. Awesome just loved it!

The grounds are beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. I did not use the pool. My casita had a kitchenette with small refrigerator and sink. No pots, pans or utensils, or micro, but mine was a short stay. Room also had a dinette and 2 bottles of water provided. Small tv and reliable internet connection. King bed firm but comfortable. All the staff were exceptional. And my service dog, Jeff, made a lot of new friends and was well received. Thank you all so much…hope to see you in the future!

We loved the pool! It was filled with beautiful, cool spring water! The entire family loved it! The room was large with a good sized family room, a full kitchen with refrigerator and a wonderful bathtub and shower! Overall the hotel was beautiful and had a great location. We will be back for sure!

For the low price, this was an excellent small hotel. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. The pool was big enough to actually SWIM in! It was such a nice place and so close to the center of town (the cathedral and central plaza, many restaurants and art schools, Borda Gardens, etc.), we decided to stay an extra night. Very very clean, no air conditioning in the room, but a good overhead fan. Highly recommend! We got to see Don Juan Tenorio for 150 pesos at the Instituto Nacional de Bella's artes. Also a very good boot store nearby!

We had a wonderful time in this spotless, friendly hotel with its well-maintained and attractive pool. The only weak spot is the lack of a restaurant, but the hotel works around this reasonably well with breakfast baskets and take-out orders.

Helpful, friendly staff - hotel had good facilities, large comfortable room, free WiFi and a nice pool. Location was OK but a walk up hill to the town centre took about 10 minutes and road was sometimes busy.

I loved Hotel Ilebal! It's lots of fun and the staff are great. The breakfast baskets are a lovely touch - wander around the pool and set yourself up.

We stayed here during May 2015.... The room was very clean when we arrived. They offered a very delicious complimentary "European style" breakfast for our first morning there. The staff was mostly friendly, the pool was clean, and the hotel is quaint and cozy. The downsides for us included the hard mattress, the lack of air conditioning which made the room very hot and humid at times, and one or two rude, or judgmental comments from one staff member in particular. Overall, great place for the price, specially if you plan on staying out being a tourist most of the day.

Gorgeously manicured gardens and streams that weave through the entire resort, a beautiful pool and spa that makes the city of eternal spring that much more enjoyable, rejuvenating spa services sure to leave you more relaxed than you could imagine, delicious food at the restaurant that can just as easily be served in your room or at the pool, charming rooms and suites that all open to some aspect of nature, and equally important to everything else, a sweet, generous, and hospitable staff always going above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. Counting down to my next visit, already miss the magic!

The hotel is situated in lovely grounds and it was very relaxing. Nice pool area. Rooms are comfortable, but no TV or internet (be aware). We were sent on a wild goose hunt when we called about where we could get a coffee in the evening, but they eventually just sent some up to our room. The new age music near the pool and piped into the room gets old if it's not your cup of tea, but at least you can mute it in the room. The major benefit of this hotel over some equally nice ones in the area is that no small children are allowed. This means you get some blessed peace and quiet not found at almost any hotel in Mexico.

Best place ever. Most beautiful Gardens in all Morelos, with 400 plant species, some of them used in their menu’s recipes and spa activities. Very welcoming and attentive staff, including Santiago, Maggie and Chef Jesus from the restaurant, Ximena, Joel, Tino, César and Eduardo from the front desk, and Israel and the ladies at the spa. A special thanks to Eduardo who is the yoga teacher and Brian, who is a plant specialist who carries out the incense workshop. Both of them helped me to be both in contact with nature and my inner self. Food from the restaurant is delicious too; my top picks are the sea bass ceviche, the zucchini ravioli, the green curry, the chorizo and cecina enchiladas, and the golden milk porridge. Also, their pool is warmed up, which allowed me to relax my muscles while swimming. The Spa’s jacuzzi is also at great temperature. If anything, I would suggest to turn on the sauna around 15 minutes before each reservation in order to make sure it’s at the right temperature by the time the guest arrives and to provide vegetable milk with the complementary morning coffee that arrives almost at your door. All the best to this wonderful hotel.

I stayed in room 3 for two days in late September. The room is massive with a very comfortable king-size bed. There is an adjacent room with two single beds and a television which was a surprise to me. I didn't need it though. Room 3 overlooks the pool and courtyard. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. It was one of the best parts of my stay in Cuernavaca. Sitting in the courtyard by the pool and greenery in the morning and eating a delicious breakfast. This hotel is on a neat cobblestone street with about 10 bars so nightlife is close by (less than 50 meters). I felt pretty safe too knowing the hotel was so close to where I ventured out for drinks. The town square is only a block away and there are really goo restaurants there. Some taco places are about 3 blocks away (North) and are very easy to get to. Despite the reputation in this town from what I read online I felt safe and I was walking around most days in a suit. Not exactly blending in so to speak.

First the restaurant: Excellent, amazing, delicious! The food is outstanding! The breakfast which was included is fabulous! It includes coffee, juice, fruit, fresh bread, and then the main course! The hotel is very small and intimate. The pool is heated and we had two days swimming during new year's. Plus the weather was 80 F. The rooms are very comfortable and the decor is beautiful, black and white with use of mirrors and black metal. It is an oasis in downtown cuernavaca. Downtown is not very beautiful, we expected better, but the hotel certainly made up for it. The service was outstanding. They even opened the restaurant 1 hour earlier to serve us breakfast before our early departure. Really outstanding service!

Las Casas B+B is a beautiful, boutique style hotel in the heart of Cuernavaca. The single room was pretty small, but had everything needed and it was spotlessly clean and all white. The pool area is very nice for relaxing. We really enjoyed the breakfast, and the same area also serves as a lounge style bar at nights. Friendly and attentive staff, although they didn't speak much English. Vallet parking is a plus.

Extremely contemporary in design, with a host of warm and professional staff that were wonderfully attentive. The back courtyard with pool is a lovely and quiet place to hang out in the heat of the day, an oasis. Food was excellent, and the breakfast quite substantial and a great take on some traditional dishes. From start to finish this was a stellar experience, particularly for the price.

The hotel is well located, inside a gated community. Facilities are beautiful and the Japanese design of the buildings is quite eye-catching. Pool is nice - consider this is not an adult-only hotel and there may be lots of children around during the holidays. Huge gardens and lots of greenery and cool japanese-style water features. Food is excellent. The Japanese restaurant has good options, and for breakfast there's a scrumptious buffet. Also, there's brunch buffet on Sunday mornings. Gym is well equipped and has a beautiful view. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable with big pillows. The blackout doors are wonderful. Bathroom was big, including shampoo and soap.

I traveled with my family and we enjoyed the climtized pool the whole day, snacks and drinks were really good as well. In general there is a quiet environment that I enjoyed since I wanted to rest. Staff in general was very nice.

I visit this property every year. The rooms are always clean. The beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning works and I can control the temperature. The staff is very nice. The only part that is not the best is the spa facility. The staff is great but the spa facility itself needs to be updated. The pool is large but not deep.
