Recently stayed for two nights. Our second floor unit was facing the sea and, while a bit small, was clean and comfortable with gleaming marble floors throughout and all necessary amenities. There is a scenic roof deck with a plunge pool with lots of seating areas. As the hotel is very close to the waterfront in the centre of town it is best to arrive before evening, when the hotel's front street is part of a pedestrian-only zone, requiring one to park in a nearby public garage. Tons of beaches, restaurants and bars within a five minute walk.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Nerja. We travelled as a family (parents and two small children) and booked the quadruple room. We requested two double beds but since that wasn't available they put two sets of twin beds together and they were very comfortable and lovely. The rooms were spic and span and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff was phenomenal and everything was in walking distance. It rained a bit during our stay and we found the pool to be quite cold and the pool area to be a bit small for children. That said, the rooftop pool would be ideal for sunbathing in sunny weather. Thank you Hotel Cavana, we hope to return some day!

I couldn't fault this hotel. It had the best location. Very quiet, very clean, staff were soo helpful. Pool was perfect and the poolside food was gorgeous. Beds were soo comfortable. We had a wonderful time and if I was ever to go to Nerja again, I would def stay there. I'll be back someday

Lovely hotel very central, pool on rooftop lovely but lots of pigeons by the pool area and limited sun loungers for all the guests. nowhere to shower when checking out if you have a late flight but there is storage for luggage. Staff lovely and friendly. Would return.

Lovely location and very pleasant hotel, clean rooms, tastefully decorated with exceptionally comfortable beds. The rooms with terraces are fantastic, and you get a great view. Had it been warmer I might have used the roof top pool, which looks ok for a dip, and is surrounded with around 15 or so sun loungers. The hotel itself is a short walk from the bus station, and within 5 mins walk to the Balcon de Europa + many cafes, bars and souvenirs. Well thought out details: a 'closet' with actual coat hangers, which rarely occurs in many hotels I have stayed, good coffee/tea making facilities and water + extra blankets and pillows, and towels for pool. everything looked brand new, perhaps it was.

I stayed for four nights at this place, and it was an absolutely fantastic and enchanting experience. The area is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, and the apartment is exceptionally clean and spacious. It's well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine, making it suitable for families. The terrace is very spacious and offers breathtaking views. The apartment is conveniently close to the beach, just a 25-minute walk or five minutes by car. The pool is lovely and well-maintained, with separate pools for adults and children. The fact that there's free parking and a Carrefour supermarket, an ATM, and a tennis court nearby adds to the convenience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Jauier, who is a kind, helpful, and English-speaking individual. He provided me with many recommendations for places to visit in the area.

The pool was great, and the staff at the pool bar was brilliant, very helpful.

Property was immaculate and exactly as shown in the photos, with everything one could need. A good size for a studio. I loved the balcony, it had really stunning views to the hills in one direction and a nice sea view in the other. Loved the area, low-rise white-washed houses with pretty, colourful gardens. Very quiet, in a cul de sac so there was no through traffic. About a 10 minute walk downhill to Burriana Beach. About a 25 minute walk to the Balcon. Very good value.

When we were locked out as a door blew shut they came and brought spare keys immediately . We went as a group of four a couple and our mum and elderly aunt . Villa is beautiful and pool lovely plenty of outdoor space and shade too . They came and cleaned pool halfway through our 9 night stay and let us have a late check out too . Two minutes from supermarkets close to Frigiliana and Nerja and 20 mins from shopping mall at Velez Malaga and Torre del mar . We would definitely stay again thank you for a lovely holiday 🩷😊

The villa was equipped with everything you could possibly need, for cooking, poolside, bbq area, etc There was plenty of space outside, the view was beautiful and the villa was not overlooked. It was very private and had a real spanish vibe as it was originally a family home and not a purpose built holiday villa. Even though the trip into town only took a few mins, it felt like we were in the country. I would love to return to this villa

Fab pool, immaculate cleanliness and friendly.

It was a self catering villa, the owners went over and above what would be expected. They were extremely helpful and kind to us and gave us their phone number and told us to ring them if we needed anything. We would definitely go back again.

The location was fantastic and a stone throw from one of nerjas beaches where there are restaurants, cafes and bars aplenty. We stayed in appt 5 and it was above expectations. Spotless, good size terrace overlooking the pool, all kitchen amenities, double and single bedroom with overbed fans. Pool area is nice, spacious and clean. Parking is free in local area so when checking in we were able to park directly outside the appartment. Short walk into the balcon area of nerja where you can enjoy traditional tight Spanish streets filled with tapas bars and international restaurants. We normally stay closer to this area however this appartment offers more of a beach stay which we wanted this time

Pepito made us feel very welcome. The room was very spacious and cleaned every day. The staff were so accommodating. The apt had everything we needed, the pool was lovely and the location couldn’t have been better.

Location is awesome. Pool is wonderful. Plenty of space and kitchen items for our needs. It was perfect for our family trip to the beach.

Amazing scenery from the property and pool area. It was spotless, and the scent of the place was wonderful. It was cosy inside and outside. Kitchen was lovely and well equipped. It was comforting to be greated by Alex upon our arrival. Nerja is such a special place to explore and enjoy.

This villa surpassed all of our expectations. It is absolutely spotless and very spatial both inside and out. The Pool and Jacuzzi are clean and very well kept. The BBQ and outdoor dining areas are excellent. The villa is equipped with absolutely everything you might need while on holiday - there was not one single item we needed that was not available in the villa! Mirek is an exceptional host and it is very obvious that every effort has been put in place to make the guest's stay as perfect as possible, Thank you Mirek for making our week so enjoyable.

Super swimming pool and barbecue facilities, close to caves of Nerja and walks in the hills with lovely views, short walk to Maro with some bars and local shop, great beach in Maro (a bit of a longer walk than anticipated if you have kids, take cash if you want to get the bus back up the hill!). House had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts, who live next door. We asked for more towels and were given them on the same day. Excellent communication. Very close to caves which were a really great attraction. Pretty village in walking distance. Pool was beautiful. Hot tub has a wonderful view of the sea.

Great property and pool. Hill was quite steep.

The villa suited our family group - and having an individual pool, in addition to the communal one, was excellent for the children. BBQ was good - as well as the small upstairs balcony for some shade. The service from Nerja Paradise Properties was excellent - including the communication beforehand and the speedy repair of a broken bedroom blind. It was straightforward to organise a grocery delivery from the nearby Mercadona. The kitchen was well equipped.

It was very well equipped and had everything we needed to make our stay a lovely experience.

The house was so clean when we arrived, very straightforward entry system. Perfect facilities.

Lovely and spacious, spotless with lots of crockery etc. Lovely plunge pool and access to a bigger pool with sunbeds. Great views of the beach and also of the mountains. 3 bathrooms/toilets which are a God send with a group of 7 friends. Walking distance to a lovely beach and restaurants in the quieter part of Nerja, albeit down a very steep bank.

Our family of seven stayed at Aljamar 6 Burriana Beach Casasol for 11 days in August, and our experience was fantastic. The accommodation was clean, well-presented, and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a washing machine, dishwasher, two fridge/freezers, and air conditioning in each room. The pool was a great size for cooling down and splashing around, and the balcony on the top floor offered mountain views. There is a supermarket located just a 5-minute walk away if you find a shortcut. Burriana Beach is less than a 10-minute walk, and the centre of Nerja, featuring the Balcón de Europa, is about a 25-minute walk. We absolutely loved our time at Aljamar 6 Burriana Beach Casasol and highly recommend it!!!

The hotel was brilliant. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and room. Location was excellent looking out onto the square with easy walking access to all locations. The roof top pool and sunbathing area was an added bonus, with fantastic views. We booked room only but opted for the continental breakfast (€4.80) in the cafe at the front of the hotel which was well worth the money with brilliant service overlooking the square. It was our first time in Nerja we loved it and definitely would recommend Mena Plaza as a base. Added bonus was we requested a kettle for the room so we could have a tea or coffee when required. Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable stay and we definitely will be back.

This is the third time I have stayed here now and it is such a lovely hotel. The staff are wonderful and the amenities such as the restaurant and rooftop pool and bar are fabulous. The rooms are always very clean and I have never had any problems with them. There is a Carrefour literally next door now so that is handy for bits you might have forgotten. The hotel is literally 2 minutes from the beach and the Balcon - I hope to always keep coming back here!

The hotel was so clean, I didn’t have my room cleaned as I wasn’t there long and I requested do not disturb but I had fresh towels and toiletries and the rest of the hotel was immaculate. I used the shower next to the luggage room before I left in the late afternoon and that was also modern and very clean. The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming - helping me with my Spanish ( I only know short phrases ) she was very attentive and I can imagine she would go above and beyond for others. The pool on the roof was beautiful and again the area was very clean - views are stunning! It was quiet in that area, it was still abit cool to use the pool and it’s not a “sun holiday” hotel - more of a base for travellers but nice for a dip at the end of the day. They close the pool area when it rains due to health and safety and the danger of slipping. The room was lovely, bathroom like a wet room. TV and fridge but I didn’t use either. The cafeteria was always very busy which is a good sign with lots of local Spanish there which suggests it’s good - I didn’t use it though so I can’t personally comment. It’s not a quiet area - and I got woken up by girls singing while setting up tables outside the cafe at about 6am but I wasn’t too bothered, at least they are happy in their work but others might get annoyed. My balcony was facing the launderette with the mountains above. 5 mins walk to bus station. 10 mins walk to centre/ beach. I’d stay again. Female solo traveller who felt safe

Excellent hotel for a 2 star rating. Spotless rooms and fresh towels etc every day. Pool towels provided at no extra charge. Reception staff so welcoming and friendly no matter what time of the day/evening you were greeted with smiles and asking about your day/evening. Location ideal and the roof top pool a real bonus.

Cons: The safe is screwed to a wooden wardrobe, which could be easily removed in full with a crowbar. The balcony doors do not lock. The towel rack is at head height as entering the shower, meaning hitting your head entering the shower is a real danger. There is no refrigerator. The pool is small. The public recycling and waste bins are located right outside, and are emptied between midnight and 6 am, they are not quiet. Pros: The staff are exemplary, polite and friendly. The room was clean and bright with also a blackout curtain. There was a small but usable balcony with a great view. There is a minimarket just opposite the hotel, open until late. There is a launderette just opposite the hotel. 5 minute walk from busses to any direction. 5 minute walk from the nearest beach. 5 minute walk to the Balcon de Europa. 2 minute walk to the Supermarket. The pool is situated on the roof and has a great view. Hotel is prime location for walking to anywhere in Nerja. Plenty of Scooter / Motorbike parking directly outside the hotel. Room was spacious with a desk and side tables. TV had HDMI connection to plug in personal devices. Overall a good hotel with great staff in an excellent location, even given the cons mentioned above, I would recommend this 2-star hotel to anybody who was looking for a clean hotel somewhere central. While considerations should be made for safety of high value items as the safe is poorly secured and very small.

The hotel was similar to a boutique hotel The 2 star rating was a surprise but the only facilities are the roof terrace pool which was great but lacked shade ( no umbrellas available) The hotel does not offer food but there is a cafe on the ground floor integrated with direct access from the hotel The cafe opens very early and is busy and quite noisy and we were directly above it so we asked to be moved and this was done with no fuss however if the hotel were to be full I guess we would have had to stay in the allocated room The cafe does sell limited food items such as sandwiches and toast/pastries and alcoholic beverages but closes at 1.30pm every day The hotel rooms are basic but spacious with good air con and we were impressed with the cleanliness and akin to a 5 star hotel The staff could always be seen cleaning the hallways and corridors The staff were always friendly and attentive We bought wine for the room and bottle openers are available ( supermarket across the road very convenient) There is a shower room which allows you to freshen up in the afternoon if you have a late departure home and luggage is kept secure for an early arrival or late departure We hired a car and the parking was free in a car park which is a short walk away Excellent value for money on a room only basis and we will certainly return again

This is our second stay at the Bajamar Centro. We loved it so much the first time that when we were booking Nerja again we knew exactly where we wanted to be. The hotel only has 2 stars which we do not understand! It is so comfortable with great facilities. There is even a swimming pool on the roof with panoramic views. There is a cafeteria on the ground floor that is open for breakfast. Lifts to all floors (except the roof). Reception is open 24 hours. The rooms have a TV which has channels from many different countries in lots of languages and also streaming services like Netfix, Disney +, YouTube etc. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the town but only a 10 minute walk to the old town with all of the bars, restaurants etc and the Balcon de Europa.

Jeg nåede ikke at spise dig med det så meget lækkert ud og super hyggeligt poolen var ikke åbnet da jeg var der så jeg tog bare ned til stranden der lå 7 minutter i bilen fra hotellet.

It was a great stay, the staff were very friendly, the pool and gardens were attractive and well kept. Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff.

Near the motorway so easy to access all the sites around. But we didn't hear any noise from motorway. Room was small and a little bit old as well as shower. Bed was very comfy as well as pillows. Staff is helpful. Breakfast was ordinary but enough as for 6€/person and it was better than in some more expensive places. They have nice garden full of lots of different fruits. Cosy pool but small. We got great dinner last evening - the restaurant really suprised us as the food was great and not expensive

Nice room with very comfortable bed, good sofa, excellent bathroom, powerful shower, lots of towels. Immaculately clean. Great view of coast, Mediterranean and sunset, though a motorway has been built to slightly spoil it since I last stayed here many years ago 😆. Very good continental breakfast buffet with fresh ingredients, fruit, natural juice, croissants, and great coffee, for a very good price.

Check in was easy even though we had been very delayed and it was past midnight. Our room was spacious and clean with a huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was good after a really good night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel has good free parking and is very easy to find.

Franc the owner was a fabulous host on our stay in Nerja over the New Year celebrations .The hostel is in the centre of town, only steps away from the Balcon of Europe. We would highly recommend staying here as you will be looked after very well by Franc. He makes a wonderful breakfast with freshly baked bread and cakes, along with cooked meats and boiled eggs. He also makes lovely Italian coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, also do try his own olive oil from his olive trees. The double room was very spacious and the shower was fabulous. He also provides beach towels for the beach, which was much appreciated. The hostel is very good value for what Franc provides, and we will have no hesitation in staying there again.

Location right in the centre of Nerja. We stayed for ten nights in all. Very happy, excellent WiFi, lots of English channels on TV. The breakfast was great too -fresh pressed orange juice, toast, eggs ham and cheese. Our hosts were lovely, very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Very friendly, helpful staff. An excellent location. Well priced. Nerja is a very nice seaside town and the property is close to many restaurants and shops. The town has a safe feel about it. About an hour from the airport and ideal for a long weekend break.

Fantastic location in the middle of everything. Great apartment and lovely terrace to sit out and enjoy a sundowner. We were in the apartment so had town sea and views of mountain. Comfiest bed ever for a holiday apartment. Franck is very helpful.

The owner was very kind. He even made the breakfast himself: waffles, and it was just €4. The room was clean and in a great location!

Stayed for a week here and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! Like most things in life you get what you pay for but on occasions, you do get a nice little place which is terrific value for money. I have stayed in 8 different accommodations in Nerja where prices ranged from £300-£1200 for a week, Balcon de Europa, a villa and numerous self catering and hotels. It all depends what your looking for, this self catering was perfect for my needs! clean, comfortable with friendly staff, a decent size kitchen area and a balcony. It sits on the main road at the top of Nerja but you don't hear any traffic noise at night. I am sure it has a roof terrace but didn't even visit as you are so spoiled for choice with all the beaches which are all within walking distance. I generally get up early and head out, beach, cafe's, bars, which are plentiful, head back mid afternoon, couple of beers on the balcony and relax. A wee siesta then head back into town which is a 5-10 min stroll to everything you will need. As i love to sample different foods and sometimes don't want breakfast, I feel there was no need for half board like some hotels offer, so this was perfect for me. I visit Nerja every year and will definitely be back to Casanova.

Stayed here for 9 nights and they were fantastic. Ran by Elizabeth and her husband who are very pleasant and accommodating. Our apartment was at the front on the main road, but we had no trouble with traffic noise, in fact I slept very well. Great size with separate lounge and kitchen which had everything you could need for a self catering holiday, microwave, halogen hob, coffee maker, kettle and ample cutlery, plates, pots and pans. Twin bedroom with patio doors to the balcony, as well as patio doors from the lounge to the balcony ( which was huge), patio furniture could maybe go with an update, but still very useable. The reception area of the apartments has a cosy seating area for relaxing as well as a small outside terrace. Go upstairs to a large sun lounging terrace which had the sun from all directions. Apartments in an ideal location for the bus station, Mercadona supermarket as well as some great tapas bars. Would definitely stay here again, great little find.

Lovely clean, cool and spacious apartment. Ideal for a base to explore Nerja and surrounding area as easily accessed being on the main road. Extremely quiet considering proximity to road, air-con in each apartment and enough cooking/kitchen facilities and equipment to accommodate an extended stay. Really easy to check in and out, and was actually able to check in earlier than initial check in time which was extremely helpful, communication with host was brilliant. Quick and easy check in via reception desk, the apartments also having a number of very quiet communal areas/courtyard. Everything extremely clean and cool, perfect with the summer heat. Although no dining facilities there are two excellent cafes within 1 minute walk available for breakfast/coffee/evening food and drinks, as well as a mini supermarket right next door.

This is my second review of these apartments and our 3rd stay. Last stay was in November 2015. The bathrooms have been up graded in the apatments and now have a full size walk in shower. The rooms are basic and still spotlessley clean. Elisabeth and her husband are so helpful and friendly. If they carry on with the improvements this will be an even greater place to stay but then the price will prbably have to go up. Like I have said before they are basic but have everything you need and cannot fault what you get for the price. I think people need to remember how cheap it is to stay there when giving negative comments.

We will definitely choose this hotel when we next visit Nerja. Don't be put off by the 'Adults Only' tag. It just means it isn't suitable for children under 13. Which is great news for older people like us. I can't think of anything remotely critical to say about the hotel or the staff. We liked it very much. With the exception of the minibar and lavatory, everything in the room is controlled by the room key. Even the tap and shower. I really liked that you could choose the temperature of the water and, especially, the readout of how many litres were used. It made me think more carefully about using water indiscriminately. The solarium and jacuzzi pools are so very relaxing. So much thought goes into everything.... even down to the card on the bed each evening advising the next day's weather!

Arrived back from the MB Boutique hotel in Nerja, what can I say this hotel is amazing when you walk in the door it smells beautiful check in was very easy receptionist was so polite and explained about the hotel. We stayed in room 212 this room had everything we needed, the bed was the best we had ever sleeped in and the balcony was huge. The room included a mini fridge with water everyday tea/coffee machine chocolate or biscuits everyday,safe and aircon all included. This hotel is very central to everything so ideal. There is no pool but on the roof terrace there are loungers and Jacuzzis. We loved Nerja and definitely go back to the hotel.

First time staying in Nerja and this hotel. Arrived late Saturday night hotel just back of main road at sea. First thought was hotel was set away from everything in built up area. First impressions hotel spotless staff friendly. Room very modern. Next morning we could see hotel was lovely rooms clean and modern, bed super comfy. Baloney was nice although no views looks onto a street. Breakfast is continental which is good. Location is fab, 10mins walk and your in centre of resort. Lots and lots of eating and drinking options nearby. Roof top terrace with 2 hot tubs and lounging beds very nice as there is no swimming pool. Really nice hotel definitely worth staying here.

Gorgeous hotel. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Rooms immaculate am with a modern feel. Lovely continental breakfast. Loved our late afternoon’s on the rooftop in the cool jacuzzi pools and comfortable day beds. Great location for easy access to nearby beaches, shops and restaurants. Fully recommend.

We only stayed one night, as breaking the journey from Granada to Malaga airport. It's a lovely hotel. It is a bit of a walk down to the beach from it, as it's up on the outskirts of the town centre. There is parking, but not lots of space. The room we had was enormous and lots of facilities. The terrace was huge and had stunning views to the sea. Lovely pool area too. Staff are friendly and very helpful. There is a restaurant attached and it serves fabulous food. There's a happy hour (lasts for 2 hours, from 5pm) for drinks too and you can sit outside in the front. Breakfast is fantastic, buffet of hot (eggs, bacon, sausage) and cold foods, all the fruit and pastries you can eat, cereals etc. It's a lovely hotel and I would have liked to stay longer. I'd definitely go back, didn't have chance to use the pool, it was a little cold on the day we arrived (April).

The hotel and grounds are lovely, though not so easily walkable from the bus station. Once there, the bar, dining, and breakfast are well above average. The pool and pool area have lovely views of the Mediterranean. The room was huge by European standards. Great place for a few nights.

Stayed for one night while on family road trip in Andalusia. Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Swimming pool area close to room and clean. Our 4 year old loved playing in the pool. Rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast is a basic continental, which suited us fine.

Los Arcos is a little way out of the centre of Nerja (25 minute walk). We had a pleasant, comfortable and very clean room with a beautiful view towards the sea. Shower worked well and plenty of warm water. Lovely swimming pool and surrounding area. Unfortunately after our second day it was emptied for maintenance but we were offered the free use of the pool in the hotel next door. Just a 15 minute walk from Burriana beach which is buzzing and full of bars. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

On this occasion, first impressions here,are not what to go by. This a really decent hotel and you will be very well looked after. there is a swimming pool. The bathroom was a tad on the small side, but all in all ok. Beware the dragon in the restaurant next door! Dare to take your ‘Happy Hour drinks in there and you’re greeted with,’no, you cant bring those in here’ rather than “ Good Evening” with an apology and explanation. Having said all this, the food was very good. Because of the rotten welcome wed had, we only bought water between two of us, rather than wine, so they shot themselves in the foot with their attitude.

Our hotel had sea view and although this was the hotel a little farther from the water, you could still hear the waves close all night. It had a balcony with table, chairs and a clothes line.The beds and pillows were clean and really comfortable. Bathroom big and nice. The beach is across the street. Did not try their buffet but it didn’t look bad and considering that Nerja is a tourist city, the buffet price was not expensive compared to nearby restaurants. If you want a little cheaper, more regular prices, walk 10-20 minutes away from the hotel area. The restaurants right on the beach were actually not bad priced for the location. Customer service was perfect also. Wifi was fine. I would MOST definitely stay there again!

La Perla Marine is right on the beach and has two good sized pools, the rooftop terrace pool has wonderful views. The staff were all very helpful and we had a very pleasant stay. We found two downsides: I had not pre-booked parking in the hotel garage, it was full and parking in Nerja is very difficult; the pools (and indeed the beach sunbed areas) do not open until 10am and can get crowded. I would stay at La Perla Marine again, it's very comfortable, very convenient and our room was good, facing away from the sea but this side is quieter.

Breakfast was reasonable, food and coffee served in the bar area was very good, although there was notices saying no saving places by both pools the staff did not impose it, which was a shame, there was no service at the pools, Ie: no food or drink, There is a fridge in the rooms

Hotel is clean and pleasant, staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is buffet in a single large room with tables arranged across the room in single long lines like a Naffi barracks canteen, so after first day went out for breakfast. The bar food was poor, so again would not recommend eating in. The hotel pool is typical small hotel pool, but many of the sun loungers were broken so unable to raise the back so you could read, i.e. you could only lay flat. The hotel was a good base for exploring the area and for the beach.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel previously hence our return as the hotel staff are so accommodating. The second time round we noticed many improvements, so was even better and pre-arranged to stay in the same sea view room we had during our first stay! I would defo advise to upgrade to sea view as was so beautiful and the sound of the waves are so relaxing. The staff at the Perla are fantastic and very well spoken. They offer much needed tourist info in order to see as much as you can during your stay. Wifi connection is available throughout the hotel although we did struggle to get connected in our room so had to do anything like that in the reception area, which wasn't a prob as didn't go away to surf the net! lol No need to pack towels as room gets changed daily, and if you want towels for by the pool you can pay 10 Euros to reception which is full refundable when the towel is returned.
