Very clean apartment in a really nice, quiet neighbourhood. Relatively close to all amenities.

Fantastic location - great apartment with perfect terrace!

Property was immaculate and exactly as shown in the photos, with everything one could need. A good size for a studio. I loved the balcony, it had really stunning views to the hills in one direction and a nice sea view in the other. Loved the area, low-rise white-washed houses with pretty, colourful gardens. Very quiet, in a cul de sac so there was no through traffic. About a 10 minute walk downhill to Burriana Beach. About a 25 minute walk to the Balcon. Very good value.

Everything about the apartment was great. The location was excellent, being just a short walk to the Balcon de Europa. El Nube cafe just across the street and local supermarket also close. The apartment was fully equipped, and the staff were around daily to ensure the place was clean and towels changed, etc. Very helpful.. Private pool was a bonus with the 2 bed apartment. Roof terrace large and also really clean. All in all had a great vacation and couldn't fault it. Would definitely return to Hostel Boutique Aurora....5 stars.👍

I stayed for four nights at this place, and it was an absolutely fantastic and enchanting experience. The area is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, and the apartment is exceptionally clean and spacious. It's well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine, making it suitable for families. The terrace is very spacious and offers breathtaking views. The apartment is conveniently close to the beach, just a 25-minute walk or five minutes by car. The pool is lovely and well-maintained, with separate pools for adults and children. The fact that there's free parking and a Carrefour supermarket, an ATM, and a tennis court nearby adds to the convenience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Jauier, who is a kind, helpful, and English-speaking individual. He provided me with many recommendations for places to visit in the area.

The pool was great, and the staff at the pool bar was brilliant, very helpful.

This villa surpassed all of our expectations. It is absolutely spotless and very spatial both inside and out. The Pool and Jacuzzi are clean and very well kept. The villa is equipped with absolutely everything you might need while on holiday - there was not one single item we needed that was not available in the villa! Mirek is an exceptional host and it is very obvious that every effort has been put in place to make the guest's stay as perfect as possible, Thank you Mirek for making our week so enjoyable.

Super swimming pool and barbecue facilities, close to caves of Nerja and walks in the hills with lovely views, short walk to Maro with some bars and local shop, great beach in Maro (a bit of a longer walk than anticipated if you have kids, take cash if you want to get the bus back up the hill!). House had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts, who live next door. We asked for more towels and were given them on the same day. Excellent communication. Very close to caves which were a really great attraction. Pretty village in walking distance. Pool was beautiful. Hot tub has a wonderful view of the sea.

Amazing scenery from the property and pool area. It was spotless, and the scent of the place was wonderful. It was cosy inside and outside. Kitchen was lovely and well equipped. It was comforting to be greated by Alex upon our arrival. Nerja is such a special place to explore and enjoy.

Location was excellent- near local shops , bars , restaurants and beaches. Villa was very clean and had plenty of room. Area very quiet and peaceful with nice neighbours. Nice walk to town centre about 15mins , beach less than 10mins. Sunbeds were €6 per day in Burriana Beach , plenty of watersports.

Excellent location. It was clean and very well equipped. The host was very helpful and was at hand with any queries. They arranged the return taxi transfers which were prompt and friendly.

Access to jacuzzi which could also be covered from the sun. Size of bedrooms. Top floor for sunbathing. Right in the centre of Nerja. Staff very helpful.

The location of the property was excellent, steps away from restaurants and bars. The swim spa was brilliant Ava all three terraces were beautiful.

A beautiful 3 bedroom air conditioned villa with all we needed for a quiet break only a few minutes by car from Nerja. The hosts were kind and came to take us to the villa despite it being late. When we were locked out as a door blew shut they came and brought spare keys immediately . We went as a group of four a couple and our mum and elderly aunt . Villa is beautiful and pool lovely plenty of outdoor space and shade too . They came and cleaned pool halfway through our 9 night stay and let us have a late check out too . Two minutes from supermarkets close to Frigiliana and Nerja and 20 mins from shopping mall at Velez Malaga and Torre del mar . We would definitely stay again thank you for a lovely holiday 🩷😊

The villa was equipped with everything you could possibly need, for cooking, poolside, bbq area, etc There was plenty of space outside, the view was beautiful and the villa was not overlooked. It was very private and had a real spanish vibe as it was originally a family home and not a purpose built holiday villa. Even though the trip into town only took a few mins, it felt like we were in the country. I would love to return to this villa

Fab pool, immaculate cleanliness and friendly.

It was a self catering villa, the owners went over and above what would be expected. They were extremely helpful and kind to us and gave us their phone number and told us to ring them if we needed anything. We would definitely go back again.

Great outside space and facilities. Nice and private. Short drive to supermarket, petrol station and centre of Nerja. Helpful hosts.

The garden and small pool were lovely .cooking outside was fabulous. Very sociable.Aircon in bedrooms was great. The house was well equipped, and WiFi great.

Great property and pool. Hill was quite steep.

The villa suited our family group - and having an individual pool, in addition to the communal one, was excellent for the children. BBQ was good - as well as the small upstairs balcony for some shade. The service from Nerja Paradise Properties was excellent - including the communication beforehand and the speedy repair of a broken bedroom blind. It was straightforward to organise a grocery delivery from the nearby Mercadona. The kitchen was well equipped.

It was very well equipped and had everything we needed to make our stay a lovely experience.

The house was so clean when we arrived, very straightforward entry system. Perfect facilities.

Lovely and spacious, spotless with lots of crockery etc. Lovely plunge pool and access to a bigger pool with sunbeds. Great views of the beach and also of the mountains. 3 bathrooms/toilets which are a God send with a group of 7 friends. Walking distance to a lovely beach and restaurants in the quieter part of Nerja, albeit down a very steep bank.

Our family of seven stayed at Aljamar 6 Burriana Beach Casasol for 11 days in August, and our experience was fantastic. The accommodation was clean, well-presented, and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a washing machine, dishwasher, two fridge/freezers, and air conditioning in each room. The pool was a great size for cooling down and splashing around, and the balcony on the top floor offered mountain views. There is a supermarket located just a 5-minute walk away if you find a shortcut. Burriana Beach is less than a 10-minute walk, and the centre of Nerja, featuring the Balcón de Europa, is about a 25-minute walk. We absolutely loved our time at Aljamar 6 Burriana Beach Casasol and highly recommend it!!!

Amazing garden area and large pool much bigger than most villas. 8min walk to Mercadona supermarket although coming back is uphill so be prepared if you do. You can walk to both balcon 25mins and burriana 15mins however we had a car so drove in each evening. There is a bus stop 2mins down the road however. Villa was spotless, air con in all rooms and main living room. Overall this was perfect for me and my 2 children ages 16 and 9yrs as it had the pool and the location to going out each evening was perfect as not too out of the way. Allowed me to get up early and sit either on the terrace in sun or shade whilst the children still slept.

Nice villa great outside space huge garden and excellent size pool , off road parking , slightly out of town (why we chose it)but shop and bars restaurants nearby, also bus outside every hour to centre and taxi back if late (not expensive )

The location was ideal, a 6 minute drive to the beach, 2 mins drive to shops, 9 minutes to town centre. The view was beautiful. The pool is lovely if a little small for some people. The spacious garden was perfect for our little ones to run around freely. They loved the mango and avocado trees. Neighbours were quiet, the area peaceful. Maribel the host responded quickly and politely to any queries. Overall a lovely villa to stay.

The pool was a very welcome relief from the August heat with amazing sea views and looking out over the town. I feel that the previous scores given were unfair and the photographs do not reflect just how lovely the villa is! We will be back.

We are just back from the best holiday and it's all to do with booking this villa. Old Spainish style with everything you need, the views are insane! The pool is perfect! We couldn't fault it, everything just went brilliant. The villa has everything you need. I would highly recommend booking a stay here ❤️

Spectacular views from the villa. Pool was amazing. 10 minute walk to local shop and some restaurants also bus stop where you can get into the main Nerja town in 10 mins. Stunning area. Everyone we met was so helpful and welcoming. Great support from the management with any queries.

Recently stayed for two nights. Our second floor unit was facing the sea and, while a bit small, was clean and comfortable with gleaming marble floors throughout and all necessary amenities. There is a scenic roof deck with a plunge pool with lots of seating areas. As the hotel is very close to the waterfront in the centre of town it is best to arrive before evening, when the hotel's front street is part of a pedestrian-only zone, requiring one to park in a nearby public garage. Tons of beaches, restaurants and bars within a five minute walk.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Nerja. We travelled as a family (parents and two small children) and booked the quadruple room. We requested two double beds but since that wasn't available they put two sets of twin beds together and they were very comfortable and lovely. The rooms were spic and span and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff was phenomenal and everything was in walking distance. It rained a bit during our stay and we found the pool to be quite cold and the pool area to be a bit small for children. That said, the rooftop pool would be ideal for sunbathing in sunny weather. Thank you Hotel Cavana, we hope to return some day!

I couldn't fault this hotel. It had the best location. Very quiet, very clean, staff were soo helpful. Pool was perfect and the poolside food was gorgeous. Beds were soo comfortable. We had a wonderful time and if I was ever to go to Nerja again, I would def stay there. I'll be back someday

Lovely hotel very central, pool on rooftop lovely but lots of pigeons by the pool area and limited sun loungers for all the guests. nowhere to shower when checking out if you have a late flight but there is storage for luggage. Staff lovely and friendly. Would return.

Lovely location and very pleasant hotel, clean rooms, tastefully decorated with exceptionally comfortable beds. The rooms with terraces are fantastic, and you get a great view. Had it been warmer I might have used the roof top pool, which looks ok for a dip, and is surrounded with around 15 or so sun loungers. The hotel itself is a short walk from the bus station, and within 5 mins walk to the Balcon de Europa + many cafes, bars and souvenirs. Well thought out details: a 'closet' with actual coat hangers, which rarely occurs in many hotels I have stayed, good coffee/tea making facilities and water + extra blankets and pillows, and towels for pool. everything looked brand new, perhaps it was.

The location was fantastic and a stone throw from one of nerjas beaches where there are restaurants, cafes and bars aplenty. We stayed in appt 5 and it was above expectations. Spotless, good size terrace overlooking the pool, all kitchen amenities, double and single bedroom with overbed fans. Pool area is nice, spacious and clean. Parking is free in local area so when checking in we were able to park directly outside the appartment. Short walk into the balcon area of nerja where you can enjoy traditional tight Spanish streets filled with tapas bars and international restaurants. We normally stay closer to this area however this appartment offers more of a beach stay which we wanted this time

Pepito made us feel very welcome. The room was very spacious and cleaned every day. The staff were so accommodating. The apt had everything we needed, the pool was lovely and the location couldn’t have been better.

Location is awesome. Pool is wonderful. Plenty of space and kitchen items for our needs. It was perfect for our family trip to the beach.

Fabulous hotel a short walk from the beach and the centre. We stayed for a week in their smallest room and we were more than happy. Breakfast is delicious the sun terrace has plenty of chairs the pool is clean and most times we had the sun terrace / pool area to ourselves as most guests head to the beach. Perfect Hostal - we will return. The Gastro Tapas Mo’s is about 200 yards away and is exceptional . Towels are provided for the beach and pool areas too.

The room was spotlessly clean with a large terrace overlooking the pool area and amazing view of the surrounding area and the beautiful blue sea, it really was exceptional. Each morning at breakfast, we were greeted by a young lady with a big happy smile and a small bottle of freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea. There was an incredible selection of fresh fruit salads, home made yoghurts, continental meats and cheeses, pastries, breads, dried fruit, cereals and home made cakes, and as if that wasn't enough to choose from, you could also ask for hot food such as omelettes or fried eggs and bacon. The extra bonus is, whilst eating this amazing breakfast, you are sat looking out to spectacular views of the sea and surrounding area - just breathtaking !!! The Hostel owner is very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Clean beach towels/ towels for around the pool area are available to use free of charge.

Excellent breakfast, with wide selection of fruit, pastries, cold meats etc. Eggs and bacon cooked to order if you want them. Our room, although quite small but with a very large double bed, had a great view, outdoor seating, good storage. The pool area/sun terrace was spacious with plenty of comfortable seating, and loungers. Pool/beach towels were available. Drinks available from vending machine at reasonable prices.

We stayed in Casa Mercedes for a week and it was honestly the best hotel we have stayed in. Mercedes, her family and staff were very kind and helpful. The room with its spacious terrace and view of sea and mountains was like a dream. We felt really lucky to have found it and if we go to Nerja again we would definately go to Casa Mercedes for a second stay. The big bed was super comfy and the room lacked nothing. You could even borrow towels for the pool and for the beach. Excellent cleaning and I adored the little elephants folded from towels on arrival. One of the biggest pluses was also the breakfast - we were in heaven every morning! The area where the hostal is situated is really nice and calm, but still only a short walk to the beach and to all shops and restaurants. Feels like real Spain.

The roof terrace was amazing and provided a beautiful place to relax. This was particularly useful to us as we had very good weather and I was unfortunately suffering from a bad chest infection. This haven of tastefully decorated and relaxed seating helped massively when I couldn't get out and about as much as I'd have liked. The microwave and fridge provided in that area also came in very useful for small snacks and drinks. The room though very small was comfortable and the blinds shut out the noise and light meaning a good nights rest(apart from my coughing LOL) A really good shower, safe and good wardrobe space completed the facilities. It is 2mins from the bus station and in a street that leads straight into the tapas bars in Nerjas centre. All the shared corridors and stairs were full of beautiful decor and were a credit to the owner Tanya who has incredible taste in interior design. She was also very helpful organising our taxis to and from the airport and meeting us on arrival on our very unsocial timimg of 2am. The decor would be hard to beat and was far better than any 5*hotel I've stayed in.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Plaza Cantarero. Tanya was there to meet us on arrival and was able to direct us to local car parks which were free. She even carried up my heavy suitcase while my partner parked the car. We were delighted with our room which had everything that we would need for our stay, with some nice little touches. The roof terrace is beautiful with comfy chairs and potted plants, and at night the ambient lighting is lovely, the views from here were breathtaking. The room had air conditioning which we used a few times mostly in the late evening before going to bed as we found the room nice and cool with the balcony window, which we had open most of the time. We felt so relaxed and slept well as the bed was so comfortable. Tanya recommended some places to eat in Nerja which we took up those recommended and they did not disappoint. We are planning to go back and stay here again next year which is something we don't normally do as we like to try different places, but it felt like a home from home and we can't wait to go back.

The room was actually nicer than I thought. Really comfy bed and fab shower. The owner Tanya lovely lady very welcoming. Nice lady Guadalupe taking care of cleaning. Tanya has done an amazing job with this old family house. It’s a real tribute to her grandfather the way it has been restored. Loved all the old fixtures but modern also so would please anyone. I really enjoyed the night wish I could have stayed longer. Great location near enough to bus station but probably only 5-6 mins walk to the town. The best was the massive big roof terrace which there are several seating areas so you have your privacy if you want it. So the nicest hostel, really a hotel in any other country should you decide to spend a few days. Thank you Tanya

Towels and toiletries as well as coffee, tea and biscuits replenished every morning. Comfortable room that had wonderful air conditioning and furnished beautifully also . Rooftop terrace that is fabulous sitting in the beautiful sunshine. There was a large fridge and microwave to keep your refreshments up at the top of the stairs to the rooftop terrace. There was also a safe and flat screen t.v. in the bedroom. The shower was fantastic as well. It is conveniently situated a couple of minutes walk to the bus station for trips to Malaga, Frigiliana, Torrox etc. and only minutes walk from the centre of Nerja and the Balcon de Europa.This was our second time staying here and we can't wait to return. A hidden gem in the heart of Nerja.

Firstly, the location was excellent. Easy access to all that the area has to offer, restaurants, beaches, shopping, etc. but it's a quiet enough street that it's nice and quiet. The room was great, with a comfortable king bed, large closet and with a modern and clean bathroom. The rooftop balcony was also lovely, with really nice views of the mountains and ocean. Great place to have our morning coffee. Our room was also cleaned every day and the staff were wonderful, including Tanya the owner/host. She checked in on us months in advance as well as closer to our stay. She gave us amazing restaurant recommendations and was always available to answer any questions we had. It was just a lovely experience!

The view from the room! Spectacular! The mountains on the left, the whitewashed houses spilling down the hillside to the ocean and beach on the right. You are close enough to the beach to walk to it. Our room had a huge patio with 4 comfortable chairs. The room is good sized as well as the bathroom. The shower has plenty of hot water and a rubber non-slip mat (a rarity!) In addition to the private patio, there are several areas where you can sit outside to relax, read or work. There is daily maid service. The restaurant is just below the rooms and shares the same awesome view. Breakfast was wonderful with many options for a hot meal. Our last morning we had to leave early so the night before they prepared a packed breakfast that we could eat at the airport. The restaurant is deservedly very popular. We had a lovely dinner there. The hosts, from Brighton, England, are very helpful. They've done a beautiful job of renovating and creating an oasis.

The Avalon is an outstanding property where every room enjoys spectacular views of both the mountains and beach below. Great thought has been put into the decor of the spacious rooms and we loved the additional seating areas, including the rooftop. We looked forward to our daily breakfasts on the sunny terrace! There we chose from an extensive menu, rather than a morning buffet that so many hotels offer. Everything is made-to-order and begins with fresh squeezed orange juice, fabulous coffee (made by Alix herself), and homemade breads. The restaurant is exemplary with chef-inspired meals that are second-to-none and are made with care with quality ingredients. Alix and her team are simply wonderful as they truly make you feel special while you are there. It’s simply the best!

This has to be one of the best locations in Nerja… right on the western edge and a short journey into the heart of town, but that’s the attraction. Set in an elevated position, the views are panoramic, taking in expanses of mountains, town and coastline. We know Nerja well but couldn’t take our eyes off it. That apart, Avalon is a thoughtfully put together place run with efficiency and style. Staff are spot on, rooms comfortable, each with a big balcony and that mesmerizing view. And the food is fantastic. We live part-time on the other side of town and this is the second time we’ve enjoyed a staycation there. Mad, of course, but feels like another world.

All the bedrooms are front-facing so there's a lovely view along the coast towards Nerja. The room's terrace is of a good size with chairs to relax in and enjoy the view. Breakfast, which is included in the room price, is excellent and there's a comprehensive menu so loads of options to choose from. I ate in the restaurant every night. At this time of year it's still warm enough to eat outside which is a real treat. Again the menu is extensive and the food is wonderful. Kevin and Alix are great hosts, and their staff are friendly and welcoming. My second and not my last visit!

Very friendly personal welcome from all the staff. The bedroom and shower room were comfortable, spacious and immaculately clean, complete with a decent size balcony offering a marvellous view of the bay. Alix, our host, was very helpful and presented us with a most delicious breakfast cooked by her husband Kevin. Off street parking was also much appreciated. We enjoyed a brief exploration of Nerja - the centre of town being a very short distance away. Our only regret was that we were only there for one night but we have promised ourselves another trip and a longer stay at Hostal Avalon. Many thanks Alix and Kevin and your wonderful staff.

Lovely clean hotel in a fantastic location right around the corner from the main square in Nerja and everything on the doorstep with restaurants/bars/shops etc. The room was very comfortable and a good size and very clean. The pool area is nice - small pool just to dip in and cool off but plenty of sunbeds and nice views. The bar was really nice and lovely to sit in the evening to watch the sunset- lovely views of the mountains. Rodrigo the bar tender was particularly lovely and made some lovely drinks and had some great music playing. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of options for breakfast and served until 11 which was great. Overall highly recommend.

Hotel was in great location, a short-walk to the beaches, shops and restaurants-you could not get more central. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean. The bathroom facilities were good and the hotel itself was modern. The pool on the rooftop was salt-water and very clean. It is a small pool, I would say it's more of one you dip in to cool off and not 'swim' in but this is what we were looking for. Wifi was good. Breakfast was good for a continental, we just personally prefer a few more cooked options but they do have scrambled eggs, bacon and you can cook yourself a hard boiled egg, toast etc., which was a nice option.

Firstly, I have never completed a review for an hotel stay in all my 44 years of travel I never felt the need to praise an establishment. I’ve kind off expected it to be as good as its write up and latterly it’s website which sadly isn’t always the case. This however has changed my mind about writing in a review. Everything about the property is fabulous. The friendliness of the staff on arrival, the cleanliness, the location. I could go on. This is simply the best hotel we have stayed in for all of our trips to Nerja. At least 12! The bed and pillows are the most comfy we have ever had, not just in Spain but in all our travels The roof top pool and bar area are amazing, a sanctuary above the town especially as it was Festival time. A particular shout out to Irene! What a girl. Amazing at her job, so professional and friendly and willing to help in any way. The way the hotel looked and smelled clean was great. Couldn’t fault it.

Although my wife and I have previously visited 17 other Paradors we have not done so for a number of years and never in a popular coastal location such as Nerja. We had booked a superior room with sea view and requested one near a lift as my wife has walking difficulties. It could not have been better, with super views, a large terrace, and it was opposite the lift. The location of the hotel on the top of the cliff has easy access to the popular Burriana beach via its own private lift. A well used facility. The extensive private gardens are beautifully maintained, as is the swimming pool, and there is never a shortage of sunbeds for the guests. We had booked half board, so ate in the Parador every day. The menu is good with additional different choices every day, and sometimes even additions to these. The food was always cooked and presented to perfection and the staff were always attentive to every need. All the staff throughout the hotel were so efficient and friendly that they all deserve a mention but that is impossible. We particularly appreciated our room maid, Antonia, the two Jose’s in the restaurant, and Angel at the bar. We would recommend it 100 per cent an would hope to return again after it’s reservation in two years time. Cliff and Lesley Winlow

Excellent hotel that sits up the hill above Burriana beach. Beautiful views across the bay and over Burriana beach. There is a lift going down to the beach which makes the beach very easily accessible. Lovely pool and lovely gardens with sun beds to relax. We love the paradores for their Spanish authenticity and we enjoy the fact that the restaurants specialise in the local cuisine associated with the area. Great choice of food at breakfast and dinner. Excellent service. Spotlessly clean rooms although they are a bit outdated now and understand that the hotel will be undergoing a refurbishment at the end of this year/next year. We had a very relaxing holiday here. Close to beach and easy walk to town.

Breakfast was really superb. Our lovely room had a wonderful view across to the sea beyond the gardens. Facilities were excellent in the room and staff were very quick to bring anything extra you may require. We loved the hotel for having such comfortable surroundings without having too many gimmicky options. Postponed on a cliff above the beach enabled direct reasonably flat access to the town, but also easy access to the beach using the hotel lift which was postponed at the end of the garden beyond the pool. We found the parking system difficult to understand and the receptionist we dealt with on this occasion was less that patient in trying to explain it to us. Other staff on reception were lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Parador de Nerja. The rooms and public areas of the hotel are really clean and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the swimming pool is great for a healthy swim or a gentle cooling off. The views from the terrace are stunning and it is a great place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink. The hotel is very peaceful and we always come away feeling relaxed. Added to all this, the gifts and daily canapes and drinks which make this a really special place for us.

We have visited this Parador many times over the years both as a couple and as a family with young children and grandchildren. It has catered well for all our needs, has a great pool and is in a superb location next to a lovely beach and close to the town so easy access to every facility you might need. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal and service second to none. We are sorry it is closing for refurbishment over the next two years and sincerely hope that in the process it loses none of its present charm.

The rooms are small but very well equipped and aesthetically pleasing - small balcony but no view which was known before booking. Rooftop area so pleasant with beds and dip/ jacuzzi pools. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the sea, with a good selection of tapas bars and restaurants nearby. The room was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable with a great selection of pillows, including the option of memory foam pillows available on request. The room appeared small at first but was well equipped, including an iron and ironing board, coffee machine and charging leads for phones. The lighting was excellent and we loved the coloured lights around the bed The balcony was a good size. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The roof terrace was lovely to relax on after a busy day exploring.

Great location about 6/7 minutes walk to centre. Small hotel . Spotlessly clean throughout. Lovely friendly staff who made you feel very welcome. . We had checked in online before arrival which was great. Check out was so quick and easy too. Breakfast was served up to half 11 which was great as we were attending a wedding so late night. The plunge pool because Nerja was really hot, the little kitchen with a fridge to keep a few drinks in and snacks and it was a lovely little place. Comfy bed with necessary facilities and lovely hosts, Amber and Julian, who couldn't do enough to help with information about Nerja and restaurants.

This is a lovely cosy quaint place great location as it’s away from the madness of the crowds but close enough to walk, a short stroll to the bus stop and a lovely square with a cafe at the top of the road to have breakfast. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. Lovely homely atmosphere with a courtyard and plunge pool. There is parking about a 5 min walk away for a very small fee each day!

Boutique Hostal Lorca is a converted townhouse about 10 minutes walk from Nerja centre and the Balcon de Europa. Our room was beautiful, with a little balcony overlooking the garden and pool. All rooms are en-suite. The bed was so comfortable. There is a shared little kitchen and communal area where guests can put their things in the fridge, and can make tea, coffee and snacks. The garden has been really well-thought out, with an excellent little pool, ideal for cooling off after a day exploring the area in the heat of summer! In spite of being a terraced townhouse in a street, the whole place was calm and peaceful, and ideal place to chill out. The decor is an eclectic mix of items collected by the owners on their travels over the years, with a lot of Moroccan influence, just like our own house! And indeed, the owners, Amber and Julien, are such lovely, lovely people! We had a great welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. It was my birthday while we were there, and apart from writing a big "Happy birthday!" message for me on the hotel's blackboard, our hosts left us a bottle of very good cava, in an ice bucket, in our room! Very, very thoughtful - these are the things that elevate an okay stay somewhere to an excellent one. Thank you so much Amber and Julien! Amazing location, great prices for Nerja, and the most professional, friendly, and accommodating staff/owners. We stayed as two adults and a 1 year old in an apartment room. The facilities are great, and the building is so clean and beautiful in a classic Spanish way. It's decorated with really interesting art from the owners' travels. Family run operation, but because of their background in professional hospitality, the service is wonderful. There's no aircon but most bedrooms have a ceiling fan which is great.They also speak 4 languages, Spanish, English', French, and German, which is very helpful. The pool area is gorgeous and clean, and no chlorine smell in the pool. Really enjoyed our stay, great for families, couples, and solo travelers. All the best restaurants within walking distance to in a very nice area of town, 5 minutes to the main old-town of Nerja, and 10 min walk to the beaches.2 minutes to the local supermarket. The area is quiet and relaxing at night.

A lovely hotel with a nice atmosphere. Peaceful pool area, never too busy and plenty of sun loungers. Sun terrace also nice. Pool bar does nice food and drinks. All the staff are very friendly. The hotel is clean and modern but still with an authentic Spanish feel. Really enjoyed our second stay at Villa Flemenca & would stay again. 10-15 min walk into the centre/balcón and 5-10 min walk to the beach. We had a nice balcony over looking the pool. Breakfast had a good selection and tasty. There is good shower facilities you can book when you depart which is very handy.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bedrooms ..A/C worked a treat, amazing breakfast, so much choice , The pool was perfect. All the staff were so polite and friendly..Just one piece of information to note, is that It’s not advertised as an adults hotel , but there did not appear to have any families with young children staying there ..average persons staying appeared to be mainly couples 50+, so for us over 60’s was a pleasant surprise. I think if families with young children did stay there , they then may be short of facilities and apart from the pool no activities as such. We will definitely return.

It was our first stay at the Riu Monica and it hopefully it won't be our last. The standards, efficiency, and attention to detail from all the staff was outstanding. On holiday we normally select hotels that are bed and breakfast as we enjoy finding restaurants to eat in. Although the Riu Monica was half board we initially planned to still eat out in the evening. But as the food was so good, very varied and we enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace we only ate out once. Drink prices were very reasonable. We also had good lunches at the pool bar, and the staff were happy for us to share (as we wanted a small portion after the excellent breakfast and dinners). We enjoyed some of the entertainment (Pink Limousine, Hecktor and the Hit Bros) but the evenings with a singer and the same backing track weren't so appealing. I'd highly recommend joining the Riu Loyalty club as we received £120 off our drinks/pool bar bills. Our room was spacious and well designed with plenty of storage space. We never had a problem getting a sunbed and the ones in demand were by the promenade and in full sun. We preferred the grass area. The pool was lovely and the cleanest pool side toilets I have experienced. I can't wait to return and the hotel has set an incredibly high bar for any other future hotel stays.

Amazing break. The hotel has thought of anything you could want, and the staff were always available and eager to help. Food in the restaurant was a mix of different types and tastes - was brilliant to be able to pick and try a selection to discover what you liked best. The pool bar also had a selection of snacks - what we tried was really nice. Both pools were great. I enjoyed an early morning swim in the indoor pool each morning and spent time relaxing by outdoor pool in between walking on the connected beach or wondering down the centre of Nerja. Nerja is so beautiful, and the hotel's location and facilities make it a perfect place to experience it.

Lovely hotel, huge varied selection of food. Drinks prices very reasonable. Indoor pool great, bit too cold for outside pool but all looks spot on. Right on the beach. A few bars nearby but a good 20- 30 mins walk to the main area (Balcona De Europe) which is well worth the walk. Only thing to note is that even though it's adult only I wasn't expecting the average age of the other guests to be about 75!! Not often at 48 in a room full of 200 people I'm the youngest! Certainly felt like making any kind of noise, pool splashing, music etc would be frowned upon! Entertainment each night a bit cheesy we had Elvis and ABBA tributes but all good fun I guess!

Returned from Nerja a few days ago. We don’t usually do hotels as we prefer to do self catering but decided to try Riu for a week. I think I am converted. Monica is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The best part of the day for me after being in the heat all day is the shower and the bathroom is fantastic. The air on is supplied at no extra cost and is very quiet and much needed in August. The only thing that’s extra is the safe and we didn’t use it so not sure of the cost. The food is fantastic and so fresh. The dining room staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble and they are very efficient. The meals are fantastic and varied every day. The pool is lovely albeit a bit busy. Some were putting towels on the beds at 7 am. On saying that we managed to get a bed everyday but only just. Pool towels are provided at no extra costs so no need to take your own. There is entertainment every night. We don’t bother with entertainment so didn’t go but on passing one night it seems people were enjoying it. All in all we has a fantastic week an we will defiantly be back Nerja and Rui is a lovely place. Thank you to all the dedicated staff for making our stay the best week ever.

Check in was easy although I did see check in queues at busy arrival times. I used a private transfer and avoided the full bus checking in. Room on 6th floor was spotlessly clean and ready for us at 12:00 midday. The hotel has a relaxed laid back feel and caters for the older clientele perfectly but not exclusively as I did see some under 40’s. The pool area is well spread out with plenty of loungers but the best ones go early morning in the ‘le- mans’ sprint start which is a joy to watch. Very nice snack bar which doubles as part of the speciality restaurant some evenings. The choice of food at mealtimes is more than adequate for most tastes and good quality. Only gripe is no honey at evening mealtime for the cheese course ( me being picky) Bar service in the entertainment areas is generally good although sometimes you feel invisible despite waving at the drink servers for attention. 4 lifts if your on the high floors so you never wait long. There is a beach directly out the back door from the pool area. Hotel is a 15 min walk from the centre and there are Tapas bars within 5 mins walk from Hotel. This was our 2nd visit and it won’t be our last. Highly recommend the Monica

The hotel was brilliant. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and room. Location was excellent looking out onto the square with easy walking access to all locations. The roof top pool and sunbathing area was an added bonus, with fantastic views. We booked room only but opted for the continental breakfast (€4.80) in the cafe at the front of the hotel which was well worth the money with brilliant service overlooking the square. It was our first time in Nerja we loved it and definitely would recommend Mena Plaza as a base. Added bonus was we requested a kettle for the room so we could have a tea or coffee when required. Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable stay and we definitely will be back.

This is the third time I have stayed here now and it is such a lovely hotel. The staff are wonderful and the amenities such as the restaurant and rooftop pool and bar are fabulous. The rooms are always very clean and I have never had any problems with them. There is a Carrefour literally next door now so that is handy for bits you might have forgotten. The hotel is literally 2 minutes from the beach and the Balcon - I hope to always keep coming back here!

We've recently returned from another two weeks at the Hotel Balcon de Europa. We received a very war welcome and hotel is as good as ever, very clean and tidy, and in a perfect location.Bedrooms are spacious, well equiped and very good maid service. We think it is worth paying extra for a sea view and balcony. We noticed some upgrades: balcony furniture and bathroom refresh. Terrace pool area kept very clean but needs a little attention to tiling around pool, and sunbeds could do with replacing along with new mattresses. Beds are limited as it is a small area, however there were usually some available. Food in restaurant is buffet style: breakfast excellent choices and dinner had (themed) hot and cold choices. Very good selection and suited us fine. Sadly, we believe that there is not a half board option next year. This is very dissapointing as we do enjoy it as did other guests we spoke to. Waiters were very attentive. Happy hour bar service was not as good as customer service outside on the terrace. Staff we very pleasant and friendly, some outstanding: Rita,Francisco,Paco,Hermico and Isaac. All in all another great holiday and we are looking forward to returning next year to meet up, once again, with friends we have made over the years.

The hotel staff couldn't do enough they were so helpful. Our room is clean. We had a fridge which was handy. The room was small & the bathroom, but it was good for what we needed. We didn't have a balcony only because it wasn't available but I would suggest getting one if you were booking. It was very clean & very central area to stay. The pool area is lovely, and the pool is clean. The only thing is the area is quite small, so I'd suggest getting there early in the day for a min bed. We had breakfast included & it was perfect. You could get fruit, yoghurts,hot food, freshly made omelette or crepes also. We did have lunch at the hotel, and the food was outstanding. The hotel is situated at the viewing point, which is a very busy area, but we didn't hear any noise any night, which was great. At night the hotel is very safe. You need your key to get back into the hotel late, but there is someone at reception all the time. The hotel organised for our transfer to & from the hotel to the airport which wad very helpful . Would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is slap bang in the middle of everything-walkable to restaurants and bars and the location is just stunning.Pool area while small is sooo peaceful -no blaring music just people reading abd sleeping in the sun while looking down onto the beach.No reserving of beds-pool areas aren’t accessible til 10am so a nice lie in -we went at all different times ,there was always beds available.Great breakfast buffet.Wish they did eggs Benedict or American pancakes though.

Loved the location of this hotel, the breakfast and the pool. The parking was not far and our GPS lead us right to it so it was easy to find. Enjoyed the infinity edge pool with great views after a day at one of the many beaches here and in Maro. Loved the breakfast buffet and the views of the ocean while eating.

Beautiful apartment complex, the pool area is absolutely stunning. Lovely small pool, perfect for the kiddies . The views are breathtaking. Beautiful front door even! The apartments were so clean and very comfortable and spacious . I was worried that it was only a 1 bedroom apartment, but it was absolutely perfect. Beach views from balcony. Just perfect.

Excellent location, across the road from the beach, lots of shops, bars and restaurants, parking available, a short walk or taxi ride into centre of Nerja. The property also has a swimming pool, unfortunately this was closed due to maintenance during our stay. Excellent communication from property from initial booking and throughout our stay including clear instructions of how to locate and gain entry to our apartment, staff were extremely polite and helpful.

Excellent location right on the beach. We travelled as a family group so had three apartments, all were clean and comfortable. Pool was grear. Communication from Miguel was excellent and he was so very kind and helpful. Reserved parking was good. Lovely stay, we will return.

The Location was amazing. Between Burriana Beach and Balcon de Europa. About 7 mins walk to each. Also if you leave the apartment and stay left 4mins walk take straight into the centre passing an irish pub and a few bars that show the premier league matches. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a small swimming pool, jacuzzi and sunbeds on the roof. Fantastic property, great location

Honestly, this should be way more than 2 stars...everything was perfect. Lovely room, big balcony. Very nice bathroom. Tea making facilities. Amazing air con. The cleaning was very very good, fresh room every day. Towels changed during stay. The staff were very helpful. The location is fantastic. Couldn't get any more central. You won't regret booking this place. Also offer transfers reasonably priced and help with baggage once checked out.

The room is very comfortable. A large bathroom, good shower. Very clean. A large bottle of water was left in the fridge which we really appreciated. The terrace is so nice to go and chill in the comfy chairs, look out to the sea, have a coffee and a beer. The hostess is lovely, very helpful, hospitable and easy to communicate with. Great location.

The location is perfect, close to the sea and also the city center. A carrefour is nearby.The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room has a refrigerator, but it makes some noise. The bed is big and comfortable. I had a nice and quiet night and everything was good. Some facilities are not very new but it doesn't matter much.

We have stayed here many times over the last couple of years. The only thing that marred this 4 day stay was the fact that there was a problem with the hot water system and it was cold showers for 2 of the days ! These things happen so not a criticism of the hostel in general. There is a great little bar for breakfast ,very near ,called Coffee mar . The entrance is an alleyway next to Único restaurant and opposite Botanic (two great places to eat ) on the main pedestrian walk where all the restaurants are located.

I really liked how clean and tidy the room was. It had a small fridge and balcony, which was really a bonus. It's located on such a centric street so it was so easy to walk around the center and stay out late knowing I could easily return to the hostel in a few minutes. The check-in was effortless. The communication with the staff was nice and easy. Everything in the room and the bathroom was new and clean, and it smelled clean too. I'm delighted with my stay in this hostel and I would definitely stay there again.

Location was perfect - only a few minutes walk to the Balcon. Literally over the road to a Cafe Los Quatro Esquinas - freshly cooked breakfast lunch & dinner at local rates not tourist rates. Rooms were immaculate, bright & fresh - if you are British don´t be deceived by the name Hostal - it is modern clean & not a back packers stopgap. Carmen on reception was very helpful and accommodating to all our requests - a credit to the Hostal. The upstairs terrace was well kept and spacious with lots of seating & sea views.

Excellent location close to the main shopping/restaurant/tourist area. Very clean and well-maintained, comfortable beds, we had everything we needed and the room was of adequate size. Very good value for money. They even agreed to store our bags after arrival and before check-in, and again after check-out for a few hours even though the written documentation said they could not provide this service!

Hostal Nerjasol is in a perfect position and a few minutes walk from all the restaurants and bars in the centre of town. There is convenient parking behind the Mercadona supermercado,a few minutes walk from the hostal. We have stayed here twice now and have not been disappointed with the cleanliness and the staff are very friendly.

Location. Views. Staff. Ambience. Located in a peaceful spot in Nerja but only a few mins walk to the buzz of Nerja Old Town or the buzz of Barriana beach. It has a breathtaking view with stairs down to the beach. The ambience by the pool/gardens is very tranquil. It’s exceptionally clean and the staff were warm and friendly and super efficient. There is a good selection for cold breakfast. Nice to be able to get drinks at reception to sit by the pool. Bedroom was super quiet, clean, light, great size bed(I think a super king), modern quiet air-con, bathroom was tired however great shower pressure, lots of hot water, etc.

The location was fab …. In a quiet spot but yet close to many restaurants, cafes and beach. The pool area and pool was cleaned every day and all the plants outside gave the hotel a tropical atmosphere .

I loved everything about this hotel, from the room types and customer service to the facilities and pool area and stunning views of Burriana. The views are out of this world. Staff were amazing and very accommodating immediately from our arrival, we had a small problem with our AC unit and they were on it straight away until it was sorted. I have stayed in Nerja a few times and its location is hands down the very best I have ever stayed in, in fact, I'd go as far as to say that if you want to spend time on Burriana and in town, Paraiso Del Mar is the best located hotel in Nerja, full stop. Breakfast was good, nicely presented and clean, (although I didn't have any) the daily eggs, bacon and beans were a nice surprise to find on the continental selection. Continental is enough, especially is you are nipping down to the beach for a Paella lunch with a cerveza or two. I was a little concerned before arrival after reading a few reviews a little late and reading about the lack of showers in the rooms, I now suspect those reviews refer to actual walk in showers though as we had three rooms and all had hand-held showers over the baths, which we coped with fine, maybe check with the hotel before you book though as the baths were quite high to access so if you or a member of your groups struggles with mobility, getting into the bath itself could be a problem? Recommending a hotel to friends and family is a big thing, but, I will recommend this hotel to others for sure!

The location of the hotel could not have been better . As the photos of the hotel show it is just above the beach . Absolutely gorgeous . We had a room with a sea view . It was on the ground floor and I was anxious that it would be noisy . It wasn’t as all . The pool and surrounding areas again perfect with so many sunbeds to choose from . The room was massive - really a suite that could have accommodated a family of 4 with a separate lounge area and sofa bed . The bathroom was dated - a huge corner jacuzzi bath in a red/Brown colour But after the initial impression as so many have said it had a charm . If this hotel was updated it would become even more expensive and I think would not have the same feel . Breakfast was amazing - fabulous choice of both hot and cold and pastries . Plenty of fruit and the choice of eating it outside in the garden overlooking the sea again perfect

The hotel was so clean, I didn’t have my room cleaned as I wasn’t there long and I requested do not disturb but I had fresh towels and toiletries and the rest of the hotel was immaculate. I used the shower next to the luggage room before I left in the late afternoon and that was also modern and very clean. The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming - helping me with my Spanish ( I only know short phrases ) she was very attentive and I can imagine she would go above and beyond for others. The pool on the roof was beautiful and again the area was very clean - views are stunning! It was quiet in that area, it was still abit cool to use the pool and it’s not a “sun holiday” hotel - more of a base for travellers but nice for a dip at the end of the day. They close the pool area when it rains due to health and safety and the danger of slipping. The room was lovely, bathroom like a wet room. TV and fridge but I didn’t use either. The cafeteria was always very busy which is a good sign with lots of local Spanish there which suggests it’s good - I didn’t use it though so I can’t personally comment. It’s not a quiet area - and I got woken up by girls singing while setting up tables outside the cafe at about 6am but I wasn’t too bothered, at least they are happy in their work but others might get annoyed. My balcony was facing the launderette with the mountains above. 5 mins walk to bus station. 10 mins walk to centre/ beach. I’d stay again. Female solo traveller who felt safe

Excellent hotel for a 2 star rating. Spotless rooms and fresh towels etc every day. Pool towels provided at no extra charge. Reception staff so welcoming and friendly no matter what time of the day/evening you were greeted with smiles and asking about your day/evening. Location ideal and the roof top pool a real bonus.

Cons: The safe is screwed to a wooden wardrobe, which could be easily removed in full with a crowbar. The balcony doors do not lock. The towel rack is at head height as entering the shower, meaning hitting your head entering the shower is a real danger. There is no refrigerator. The pool is small. The public recycling and waste bins are located right outside, and are emptied between midnight and 6 am, they are not quiet. Pros: The staff are exemplary, polite and friendly. The room was clean and bright with also a blackout curtain. There was a small but usable balcony with a great view. There is a minimarket just opposite the hotel, open until late. There is a launderette just opposite the hotel. 5 minute walk from busses to any direction. 5 minute walk from the nearest beach. 5 minute walk to the Balcon de Europa. 2 minute walk to the Supermarket. The pool is situated on the roof and has a great view. Hotel is prime location for walking to anywhere in Nerja. Plenty of Scooter / Motorbike parking directly outside the hotel. Room was spacious with a desk and side tables. TV had HDMI connection to plug in personal devices. Overall a good hotel with great staff in an excellent location, even given the cons mentioned above, I would recommend this 2-star hotel to anybody who was looking for a clean hotel somewhere central. While considerations should be made for safety of high value items as the safe is poorly secured and very small.

The hotel was similar to a boutique hotel The 2 star rating was a surprise but the only facilities are the roof terrace pool which was great but lacked shade ( no umbrellas available) The hotel does not offer food but there is a cafe on the ground floor integrated with direct access from the hotel The cafe opens very early and is busy and quite noisy and we were directly above it so we asked to be moved and this was done with no fuss however if the hotel were to be full I guess we would have had to stay in the allocated room The cafe does sell limited food items such as sandwiches and toast/pastries and alcoholic beverages but closes at 1.30pm every day The hotel rooms are basic but spacious with good air con and we were impressed with the cleanliness and akin to a 5 star hotel The staff could always be seen cleaning the hallways and corridors The staff were always friendly and attentive We bought wine for the room and bottle openers are available ( supermarket across the road very convenient) There is a shower room which allows you to freshen up in the afternoon if you have a late departure home and luggage is kept secure for an early arrival or late departure We hired a car and the parking was free in a car park which is a short walk away Excellent value for money on a room only basis and we will certainly return again

This is our second stay at the Bajamar Centro. We loved it so much the first time that when we were booking Nerja again we knew exactly where we wanted to be. The hotel only has 2 stars which we do not understand! It is so comfortable with great facilities. There is even a swimming pool on the roof with panoramic views. There is a cafeteria on the ground floor that is open for breakfast. Lifts to all floors (except the roof). Reception is open 24 hours. The rooms have a TV which has channels from many different countries in lots of languages and also streaming services like Netfix, Disney +, YouTube etc. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the town but only a 10 minute walk to the old town with all of the bars, restaurants etc and the Balcon de Europa.

Our room was a large room overlooking the road on which the hotel entrance was located. It had a massive bed and a double walk-in shower. There are also rooms that overlook the pool (sea facing) that have balconies that looked lovely and 2 nice lower ground floor rooms that have private balconies with access to the pool area. We chose this hotel because of the location/reviews and we were not disappointed.

The Hotel Sibarys is a lovely hotel. While we were there the weather was fantastic and we used the pool and sauna. Nothing was too much trouble for the lady, Conchita, who looks after the pool area. She is so attentive, kind and caring. The food is very good, the breakfast offering is good with quality items on offer. We also had a snack by the pool and this was also good quality and very reasonably priced as were the cocktails. The location is perfect for easy access to the main tourist area and also the beaches.

Modern, simple rooms with nice interiors. Hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, toothbrushes provided in the room. Room also had a fridge with minibar plus kettle/tea/coffee. Wardrobe with drawers and hangers. Very good breakfast with pastries, fresh fruit, continental and hot options with freshly made coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool area with bar and food options for a relaxed day around the pool. Pool towels provided. Great location - less than 5 minute walk to the centre of town but not too noisy. If returning to Nerja, would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous little hotel. Rooms and hotel extremely clean and always a welcome from the staff. Special mention to the wonderful bar lady at the pool each day. The room had everything you need and good for a three star. Pool are is nice and good practice in place with no reserving of sun loungers. Great to chill here after some site seeing.

Went here for a recent 3 night stay in March and was totally won over by the hotel. From the moment we arrived until morning we left!! Staff were so friendly, and especially the ladies working the breakfast each morning, they worked so hard and were always chatting away with people staying in hotel. The hotel was spotless and cleaned daily which was brilliant!!. The pool area was lovely however weather was not for sitting out in the sun as we got a mixture of sun and rain( must visit in September next time!!). Really found a gem of a hotel in Nerja and will definitely go back for another stay!!

The apartments are in an excellent location by the main square so all the amenities are on the doorstep and 2 small beaches are just a few yards away. Athough we were self catering we were advised that breakfast was included so that was an added bonus. Our room(003) was at the rear looking out to the pool area. At night it was very quiet except 1 night when there was a wedding on at Cochrans next door when it sounded like a live band was playing. It was very loud but loud music has to stop at 11.30pm so that wasn't an issue. Rooms on the front would overlook the square so would be ideal for people watching though I understand there can be some noise nuisance around 3am when workmen empty the bins. We always got a sun bed by the pool when we went down about 3-4pm but at high season that might be a problem as its only a small area. The hotel also provides towels for use on the sunbeds so that saved using our own . The staff on reception were always very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay at these apartments again if I returned to Nerja and highly recommend it.. The only (very slight) downside is that the area around the apartments is pedestrianised so our transport dropped us off about 10 mins walk away which wasn't ideal even though it is possible for vehicles to get close to the main square. I also understand there is an underground car park so there must be some way to get there for private vehicles.

I have just returned from my second time staying at this property and I have booked for next year also! The location of the hotel is excellent right in the centre. The pool area is great and with the added use of Cochrans bar just down the steps from the pool is a bonus. The reception staff at the hotel are all exceptional in their roles, they are all extremely friendly & helpful, especially Victor who is always brilliant!

Read previous reviews of noise from nearby bar and didn’t hear a thing at night. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room cleaned nearly everyday of stay. Pool/pool area clean. Will definitely return and recommend to others traveling to Nerja .

Brilliant location. Lovely apartment. Nice pool area. Pity the hotel pub wasnt open during our stay but plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Noisy maintenance men though sorting the pool out when we were trying to relax there on a sunbed.

We came to Nerja for a wedding in August, the height of summer. The room was expensive, but expected for this time of year - the location of the hotel is ideal! You're surrounded by beauty and everything is on your doorstep, we stayed in room 304 on the top floor, the balcony was huge and had amazing views. I was 5 months pregnant at the time of the visit, the proximity of the hotel to the wedding venue was perfect. We ate at the breakfast buffet every morning, I don't eat meat and felt there was enough range although it was a small buffet. The reception staff were very friendly - the pool was very clean. The hotel provided us with an iron and an ironing board when needed and there were pool towels available. We love a local Spanish tapa bar and found plenty a little off the main streets. The late night ice cream parlours are a must too - Nerja is such a lovely place - I would absolutely recommend this hotel too!

The property was in a great location about a 10 minute walk down to the main shopping area and sea front. The host was excellent and the communication was fantastic letting us know about how to checkin, where the property was located and where the free parking was, which was about a 5 minute walk away from the property. Access was very easy and straight forward and the apartment was fantastic. It was very clean, had everything we needed and very comfortable. Mercadona supermarket is opposite the property and bars and restaurants are very close by. It was also very quiet and had air conditioning in the main living area.

The location is perfect, close to everything, the store across the street, close to restaurants, beach, bus station, close to parking, free parking a stone's throw away. The apartment was clean and tidy and fulfilled everything that was promised before. We cooked our own food worked well, washed clothes etc.

Easy check-in,practical cosey and clean apartment with powerful shower,well equipped kitchen with washing machine ,sun terrace with great mountain views and location to super market opposite building also main bus stop 5 minutes away.

I liked the Hotel very much, it’s authentic Spanish and makes you feel at home straight away. The room was very nice, good size with a balcony and a modern, nice bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the AC was very good. In the Hallway they had coffee, a microwave, kettle, an Iron and everything you could need. The Location was great, everything within walking distance. The Pool is a big plus. Even tho there’s not too many Sunbeds I was always able to get one. Restaurant offers good and cheap food and drinks.

Hotellet är helt ok. Poolområdet är litet men mycket trevligt. Vi gillade hotellet men frukosten drar ner betyget lite då det inte var buffé, vilket hade föredragits. Någon parkering hade de inte heller fast det stod så i informationen. Sängarna var bekväma och vi hade det bra.

Very friendly staff. All of them went above and beyond to make our staying comfortable. They even provided us free towels for the beach. Pool and restaurant highly recommended as the wines, the breakfast and dinner was very tasty and good priced.

Excellent place to stay 10 minutes walk from all the attractions in Nerja. Clean and comfortable rooms, recently refurbished. We didn't use the pool area or restaurant as the restaurant was closed for a staff holiday.

Large, clean apartment with large terrace overlooking the pool. The apartment has pretty much everything you could need to self cater. There are 2 supermarkets 5 mins walk away . 15-20 mins walk into Nerja centre. Shout out to Alejandro in the pool bar , his food is lovely . Try the pizzas they are amazing. If we are ever in this area again we will definately stay here. Great base to explore.

Word of warning, if the balcony door gets closed from the outside it locks itself (ours did anyway!) Sound travels through rooms a lot. Rooms well enough equipped. Pool area beautiful, loads of beds, gorgeous grass area between pool & sea was our favourite. Food was a mixed bag, some lovely dishes, some not so nice (sometimes poor quality meat) but always something to enjoy. Pool bar staff were good, even though always busy (Bernardo' service and hospitality was excellent). All inclusive drinks and snacks were great, and far better than we expected after some of the reviews - burgers, chips, crisps, ice cream, beer, G&T, frozen cocktails etc. Entertainment wasn't great but we didn't expect much. Couple if negatives thay stuck with me - pool lifeguard should have been much more attentive, and the lady at the gift shop was rude, grumpy and unhelpful. All in all, we would definitely return to the hotel again, and plan to do so.

We are here at the moment and I have to say please do not take any notice of the bad reviews . The apartments are really spacious, we have a one bedroom apartment for three of us and the footprint is the same as the bottom floor of a terrace house so plenty of room. The food is amazing, especially if you are willing to try new dishes and every selection has signs in all relevant languages to let you know what you are eating . There’s entertainment all day for the kids with the various clubs and the pool is massive and there’s a toddlers splash pool as well . There are sun loungers on the beach as well if you fancy using the beach instead of the pool area. The entertainment has been really inclusive insofar as they’re trying to get everybody involved ie pink night, where you wear something pink to get on board with the entertainment, and then tonight we had a Flamenco night which was brilliant and everybody was in awe of the passion. There’s clearly a lot of thought gone into the entertainment at all generational level. If you love Spain and the culture, if you like a big room for your family and if you’re willing to blend with lots of lovely people from different countries then this is the hotel for you . Only small niggle (and I mean small ) is if you want to get sun loungers you may have to do a mission impossible trip at between 8 and 9 to put your towels down and trust me it’s not just the Brits doing it. Give the place a whirl you’ll love it !

Some of the previous reviews worried me, however, I found the hotel, room, pool area to be perfectly adequate for a 4 night bed and breakfast break. Rooms: Some rooms on the ground level (0) have no sea view at all. We had room 109 which offered a lovely sea view and was clean and perfectly equipped with also great pressure from the shower. Unfortunate that sea view rooms cannot be pre-booked as others in our party ended up with a ground floor by the pool. Pool: Was kept nice and clean with plenty of sun beds but closed a bit early. Facilities: Good facilities, beach restaurant, little shop, two different bars with good selection of drinks. A little expensive in comparison to bars in the town and some odd pricing as was charged 10euro for a gin and tonic one night and 8euro on another night 🤔. Breakfast: Very nice selection offered from 0730-1030. After 8.30-9.00 it gets very busy and noisy. Not the most relaxing experience but you definite don’t leave hungry. Customer service: Not the best I have experienced. Would say a mixed bag with some staff being more helpful and pleasant than others. Not much information on arrival, would be useful to have customer information within the rooms. Some reception staff were helpful. One particular barman was quite rude, very abrupt and throwing change back at you on the bar which doesn’t make for a particularly pleasant customer experience. All in all good value. Out of town but buses and taxis readily available.

Just back from a fantastic week at Ona Marinas! Location is wonderful, right on the beach. Lovely sized pool which never felt overcrowded, and had no problems getting sunbeds. Food is typical all inclusive, but always hot and fresh. We went as a party of 6 with fussy children and no one went hungry! Donut wall at breakfast a big hit with the kids! Sometime a bit of a queue for restaurant at peak times, but never more than 10 minutes and staff work extremely hard and effectively. Plenty of drink options for everyone. Entertainment ok. My only constructive feed back is that there is lots for younger kids and adults, daytime lacking a little for older children-my 9&10 year old too old to play with 4 year olds but we’re deemed to young to play darts & ping pong etc with the adults. That said, foam party on Saturday was fantastic! Special mention to Leo from the entertainment team, who is just amazing! We stayed in studio rooms (not pool side), but could still see the see. Basic, but clean. All we did was sleep and shower in them and they were perfectly adequate and cleaned daily. Shop on site well stocked. We ventured into town a few times, bus very reliable and only 1€. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

This is a fantastic location if you prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle of Nerja. It has a great pool and is right on the beach with plenty of sun loungers even during the day. Loungers are poolside and o grass beside the beach and they are watched over regularly. The staff are friendly and seem happy and focused. Reception staff are very helpful. Bar staff could be more friendly to customers, they seem to be more engaged with their colleagues and there never seems to be enough of them. Food in the buffet is solid to good with plenty of options, and you can see it being prepared by the chefs which is a good touch. Like all buffets it gets predictable after a few days. The rooms are clean and have all you need. I know some of the reviews say the place is dated but frankly, its clean, safe, everything works and its well run so im less bothered.

Well...hard to find words for this place... Perfect location in the city center close to everything. Spotless clean room. The rooftop, the pool, the view just amazing! If I could give 10 stars instead of the max 5, I would!!! 10/10 I already miss this Hotel... I will come back! I highly recommend it!

Well...hard to find words for this place... Perfect location in the city center close to everything. Spotless clean room. The rooftop, the pool, the view just amazing! The architecture of this hotel is just unbelievable! The pub and restaurant were amazing as well. I could not be more satisfied with this hotel! Very helpful staff at the reception. Wonderful Traditional Stay in Nerja We loved our stay at Pepe Mesa Apartments. The studio had a charming Spanish style, great air conditioning, and was in a fantastic location. The rooftop terrace with sea views and a lovely pool was a real bonus. There is a lively bar downstairs with great tapas, but staying in an apartment at the back of the property, we weren’t disturbed by any noise. Highly recommend for a comfortable and authentic Nerja experience!

Beautiful apartment in the center of Nerja. The complex also has a terrace with a small swimming pool and a beautiful view of the sea. Full of cafes, restaurants, and places to eat. The paid parking is just in front, but there are also possibilities to park free on the streets.You need to be lucky, but we were.

The hotel was lovely, way exceeded my expectations. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious, and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was big and the showers were so powerful, they were lovely. The rooms of the hotel are managed separately to the pool and bar area, although they are linked as they're in the same building. during 10am to 5pm you can walk from the rooms through the bar area straight to the pool area, outside of these hours you just have to walk around the front and use a fob to get into the pool area. There are two snack bars at either end of the pool area which are great, David and his family who run it are amazing. The sunbeds are 4euros a day, but you don't have to use them, lots of people were just laying on towels or brought their own chairs. It's about a 10 min walk down steps to the beach front, it's steep so we only walked down, we never walked back up. It's 7 euros each way if you would prefer to get a cab. We will absolutely be staying here again when we come back.

Spotlessly clean. Lovely setting and quiet area. Excellent pool area and great staff at the pool bar/cafe attached. Very relaxing. Room was a decent size and the window looked out over the pool and the sea. Modern decor and spacious bathroom. The lady occasionally at the reception was very friendly. Kept fit up and down the 165 ish steep steps to the beach, or very steep slope if stairs are too much.

Great hotel, but please make sure that you arrive when someone is at the reception. If your arrival times are outside of their working hours, it could be a struggle to figure out how to access your room, open the blinds and use the keys for the pool. All of these things sound so straight forward until you actually get there. They will leave your keys in a safe box either way if your arrival time is outside of their working hours. It was a great hotel and staff were so nice and helpful. You do have to go down a hill to get to the beach and up the hill to get to the hotel, which if you do everyday can be exhausting. If you are in Nerja for the beach and to visit the main town or other places, I’d book something closer to those areas as they are much closer and easily accessible. This is perfect for families with kids who are visiting for more than a week and just want a quiet time by the pool with additional things to do on some days. All in all, I did enjoy my stay and they get booked up very quickly!

A basic room as you would expect from a 2* hotel. Everything else was 5*, comfortable bed, fridge, TV and safe in room, great powerful shower and hairdryer in the spacious bathroom. Nice pool and bar area, excellent access to the beach through an amazing complex of gardens and water features (see photos). The whole complex but especially the hotel and room were spotlessly clean, very impressive. We only stayed two nights but would have loved to stayed longer, highly recommend, will return if we are back in the area. Access to the hotel was also extremely easy, we only booked the day prior to our stay but were sent clear email with simple instructions of a key box and code by the front door.

Well maintained gardens and pools. Bus stops nearby. Choice of swimming pools. Friendly and helpful staff. Villas were old style but spacious and had all the necessary appliances. Access to pool via fob, so very private. They host arranged our airport transfers to & from Nerja.

These ate beautufil Villas located in the Capistrano Village. In traditional Spanish style, it is a very well looked after holiday location. Our Villas was on 3 floors, Open plan ground floor with 1st Floor bedroom, all with small balcony, one leading onto the room top terrace with exceptional views. And of course our beautiful floral back garden with both covered and open areas. Flat screen tv with all UK and free sky movie channels was a bonus with a full kitchen, dining and living room open plan areas. All rooms had free air conditioning too. Add to that the 3 swimming pools with full time life guard and pool side bar as well as restaurant and inside evening bar. The bus service to town is only a couple of minutes walk for only €1 per person into the town center. This is a quality family location. There's also two super markets very close for all your shopping.

The friendly, helpful staff added so much to our holiday. We met Óscar a few times; he is such an asset - he went above and beyond to assist us. We were attending a family wedding and had rented 3 villas - each family was so happy with all the staff and the villas. The villas are very well stocked- it was a bonus having a washing machine. We ate at the Pool bar, Pool restaurant and the Cave restaurant- again the staff were so nice and the food was really good. Nerja town is about a 10 min walk - taxis are quite inexpensive and we found them cheaper than Uber! I have no hesitation in recommending the property.

Our apartment was absolutely stunning, bright, clean and airy. A beautiful view. Everything was brilliant. The complex was spotless. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Especially at reception and at the pool area. Food at the pool bar was lovely, and the selection of drinks & food was ample. Really really authentic, Spanish feel. So pretty, and the grounds were lovely too.

Absolutely amazing stay once again! This is the fourth stay at the Fercomar and yet again so impressed. Unfortunately the pool wasn't filled with water which was disappointing as we weren't told about it, but it was due to it being early season I assume. The apartments are so clean, well stocked with microwave, washing machine, airer for the balcony, all cutlery and kitchen items you can imagine as well as air con! I would highly recommend the Fercomar, it's a lovely walk up to the Balcon and is nice to be close to the beach.

We had a nice relaxing stay. The apartment was exactly as pictured. Clean and comfortable. Wifi was good. Plenty of street parking around. A small pool out the front we didn't get time to use. Nice and secure complex. Very close to the beach with a path nearby we could run along, and a short walk into the main area. Washing machine, balcony and clothes hanger were greatly appreciated as was the large kitchen with everything we needed. Big apartment. Easy checkin, just a quick call to the manager to let him know we were there.

We had two weeks in one of the Fercomar apartments, and would definitely recommend them. The apartment was extremely spacious, and beautifully clean. It is well appointed, with everything you need. Though the pool is small, it was perfectly adequate. The manager, Antonio, is very friendly and helpful, and always on hand if you need him. The beach is a two minute walk away, and the town centre about ten to fifteen minutes walk. All in all a brilliant holiday, and the Fercomar apartment was extremely good value for money.

Fantastic appartment. very clean. 3 mins walk to beach. Pool small but that is the only negative thing. Staff very helpful even thouh not english dpeaking. Lots of small independat restaurants nearby. Excellent!!!!!

Breakfast was superb and staff were constantly refreshing everything. Wifi coverage was a bit limited, not extending much beyond the ground floor. Housekeeping was great: The rooms cleaned and towels replaced daily. The whole hotel was spotless. There was a large rooftop terrace furnished with plenty of comfortable sunbeds. The pool (closed until April) is not large enough to swim, but ample to cool off. Many clients reported returning year on year.

The staff were fabulous from once we arrived to the day we left. The breakfast every morning was lovely and varied, hot and cold. The services at the front desk were great, from help with buses to organising taxis and getting a take away breakfast. They were fantastic. The pool on the rooftop was a welcome relief from the heatwave. The proximity to both the town centre and the beach was a Godsend. Everything was within walking distance. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I loved everything about this hotel.

buffet breakfast was a variety of choice incl bacon, eggs , sausages, beans, hash browns, and healthy juices, yogurts and breads/ croissants, teas/ coffee served until 11am very clean and kept well, we had fresh towels everyday and theres a lovely pool up on the roof , it's central and everything is only a short walk,

You will not find a better located hotel room in Nerja. Combine that with its reasonable price and I give this place 5-stars. It would behoove you to get the online check-in paperwork done before you get to the front door so you already know the code to your lockbox. Don’t expect any staff onsite. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was better then most. The bed had a hard and a soft pillow each, so just choose what you prefer. Comfy bed. For the price it offers everything I’d expect and then some. They were even gracious enough to let us check out late after asking (we were here during off-season, ymmv). For those of us on a budget you won’t be let down by this delightful hotel in the middle of Nerja. There is a fridge, hot water kettle, and microwave but they una community space outside the rooms.

The room was cute and really clean, also the shower was perfect. It is located on the best street in Nerja if you like to stay in the busy center, and it’s the middle of the town so max 10 minute walks to everything. Also when we needed some extra attention the staff from the restaurant of Sevillano were helpful too.

This feels much like a hotel rather than a hostel. The place is spotless and the rooms were lovely! Staff went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home. Super friendly & were quick to give us recommendations. They were there to assist us whenever we needed them. Would come back to this place in a heart beat, definitely recommend booking here :)

The room was clean, simplistic and had good bathroom facilities. I needed the property only as a base to sleep in Nerja, as I was out for most of the day. This was ideal as it was just 10 minutes away from the shops etc. and from the event I was attending.

Room was very basic but it had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great, not far from the main street but still quiet location and short walk to the beaches. The owner was super friendly and accommodating, we got the room early and had a late check out too.

Could not fault the staff or property in anyway. Completely hassle free. Bonus for a hostel is the fact it has a kitchen and large fridge freezer for all guests to use. Location is also quite convenient especially for guests using public transport. Mercadona supermarket, 3 minute walk.

The village is beautifully kept with many privately own apartments, town houses and villa's. Many nationalities which made it a pleasing mix. Small local convenience store on site but a large supermarket within easy walking distance. Local bus every hour and plenty of taxis to hand. The village is on a hillside but manageable, 15 min strole down to town, slightly longer on the way back up!. Pools looked well maintained although due to exploring after hiring a car we never actually used the facilities. 20 euro deposit gave you the pool pass (returned on checkout) but there is s fee for the sunbeds. Restaurant by the pool was very friendly albeit quite, but here you could access WiFi which was not available in the accommodation, food was ok and drinks very reasonable. The local bar 'the Cave' was lovely and appeared very popular, food was available although we did not eat here, would recommend booking a table as many seem to do this which makes seating just for drinks tight, drinks again very reasonably priced. The house we were allocated (after booking an apartment, nice surprise indeed) was lovely, clean and spacious, albeit a little tired around the edges, kitchen was adequate but again tired and could do with updating. Small electric stove with a stove top kettle, so leave plenty of time when making a cup of coffee and you will be fine. No hairdryer, was not a problem for us but maybe would be for some so pack a small travel one and problem solved. Highly recommended.

Stayed at a one bedroom apartment with hubby and 2 kids; will definitely recommends as it was exactly as stated on brochure- Living/dining room with incorporated kitchenette (had pots/plates/cutlery), twin bedroom/sofa bed in living room, shower and toilet and a small private garden. There is a kid’s pool and adult pool. Will not recommend the Supersol supermarket that is close-by- it’s very expensive. Another 20min walk will take you to Mercando which is cheaper and if you drive you can go a further 10mins to Lidl. Loads of beaches and it was relaxing- went in early May so it was not too packed. Best to wonder into town for more affordable and varied delicacies/restaurants.

Excellent! The apartment was great and surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers, with a lovely view across Nerja. Close to the pool and shop. There are a few restaurants near the pool too - we really enjoyed Boris' Grill and bakery. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Hotel Marissal in Malaga had its ups and downs. The hotel has potential, but there are several areas that need improvement. The furniture throughout the hotel is old and clearly in need of an update. We initially booked an economy room, which turned out to be quite disappointing. The room had a very strong smell of mold, making it hard for us to sleep at night. While we understand that the location might contribute to dampness, this is not a valid excuse for the lack of proper maintenance. The next day, we upgraded to a sea-view room, which was a much better experience. The room was cozier, with a charming small French balcony that added a nice touch. It was definitely worth . However, the reception staff could benefit from some training in guest relations. Their attitude was less than welcoming, which left us feeling a bit undervalued as guests. Overall, the hotel has a good location and some nice features, but it needs updates and better customer service to truly offer a pleasant stay.

Stayed with my daughter for 4 nights and absolutely loved our accommodations. Large room with a small balcony. . On a a side street of the bustling main plaza, year quiet inside. Air condition was necessary as it was hot out. Impeccably clean and comfortable. Out the door is the main plaza. Incredible location steps from a beautiful, if not crowded beach. 5 stars. How was this place $500 at the height of summer in a Costa del Sol beach town. Be sure to cross the plaza to Grab a bite a Kronox that had one of the most wonderful waiter who went above and beyond. Love it here and these accommodations are absolutely perfect for a visit to Nerja.

As a solo traveller I was not expecting an upgrade, but instead of a double room I got a two bed, two bath apartment, with lovely views of the Balcon, in the best location in Nerja. I have stayed here before and the food is very good, also. I like the side door which saves having to go through the restaurant every time you want to come and go. There was a big lounge with TV and huge sofa, good double glazing and every room air conditioning which didn't go out with the lights like some hotels. I was also given a complimentary drink on arrival with olives.

Stayed here from 9th to 16th December myself for a nice quiet week in Nerja. Fantastic value hotel,great rooms,prime location, couldn't be bettered . Right on the Balcon , center of town for restaurants,Beach,walks etc. Room perfect,good comfy double bed,large screen TV,air con and heating. Powerful shower over bath, hair dryer,safe. Cleaner great,no issues,fresh towels, spotless rooms every day. Highly recommend,I will definitely return. Booked with On The Beach, excellent service as always.

La habitación cuádruple quedó muy reducida..casi no teníamos sitio para pasar a la terraza.solo un pasillo de 50 cm aprox entre cama y pared..estuvimos poco tiempo en la hab por eso tampoco fue tan agobiante...y la hab..necesita unas reformas..el papel pintado de la pared un poco roto....al abrir la ventana xq no podemos poner aire para dormir entraba mucho ruido de motos y coches x la carretera principal..pero en general la estancia a sido buena..andando un poco está todo cerca..el desayuno muy bien...pensaba q habría menos variedad aunque para mi gusto faltaba algo de dulces y algo más de fruta..

The staff was very accommodating and the hotel verry clean. The AC was able to cool the room in less then 5 min so no need to leave it on when leaving for the day. The street parking is not easy but there is a public parking lot at 5 min walk across the street and another one at about 20 min walk, close to Burriana Beach. I do recommend going to beach to Burriana, it is the biggest and the sun is lasting longer at the sunset. The Mercadona that is about 5 min away is a grate thing where to buy water, and quick snacks.

The Azahara is ideally located, very close to the town centre, beaches and countless bars, cafes and restaurants. It is also situated virtually next to the bus station. Check-in and check-out times are flexible and client-friendly. The hospitality is excellent and Tatyana is a kind and generous host. The room was comfortable, clean and had excellent wi-fi. A bonus here is the complimentary, self-service breakfast, which offers a wide range of products to start your day. Overall, the Azahara is an excellent choice in Nerja and provides outstanding value for money. Highly recommended.

the most wonderful location in the center of Nerja. 15 minutes walk to the beach and the balcony of Europe. Very clean room with a good shower. refrigerator in the room. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Amazing silence in the whole hotel, which was maintained by all the guests of the hotel. Thank you very much! If we are in Nerja, we will choose only this hotel!

We will definitely choose this hotel when we next visit Nerja. Don't be put off by the 'Adults Only' tag. It just means it isn't suitable for children under 13. Which is great news for older people like us. I can't think of anything remotely critical to say about the hotel or the staff. We liked it very much. With the exception of the minibar and lavatory, everything in the room is controlled by the room key. Even the tap and shower. I really liked that you could choose the temperature of the water and, especially, the readout of how many litres were used. It made me think more carefully about using water indiscriminately. The solarium and jacuzzi pools are so very relaxing. So much thought goes into everything.... even down to the card on the bed each evening advising the next day's weather!

Arrived back from the MB Boutique hotel in Nerja, what can I say this hotel is amazing when you walk in the door it smells beautiful check in was very easy receptionist was so polite and explained about the hotel. We stayed in room 212 this room had everything we needed, the bed was the best we had ever sleeped in and the balcony was huge. The room included a mini fridge with water everyday tea/coffee machine chocolate or biscuits everyday,safe and aircon all included. This hotel is very central to everything so ideal. There is no pool but on the roof terrace there are loungers and Jacuzzis. We loved Nerja and definitely go back to the hotel.

First time staying in Nerja and this hotel. Arrived late Saturday night hotel just back of main road at sea. First thought was hotel was set away from everything in built up area. First impressions hotel spotless staff friendly. Room very modern. Next morning we could see hotel was lovely rooms clean and modern, bed super comfy. Baloney was nice although no views looks onto a street. Breakfast is continental which is good. Location is fab, 10mins walk and your in centre of resort. Lots and lots of eating and drinking options nearby. Roof top terrace with 2 hot tubs and lounging beds very nice as there is no swimming pool. Really nice hotel definitely worth staying here.

Loved our late afternoon’s on the rooftop in the cool jacuzzi pools and comfortable day beds. Great location for easy access to nearby beaches, shops and restaurants. Fully recommend.

The hosts ( Laëtitia and Manuel) are extremely nice and helpful, they took time to answer all our questions and also helped us call the estate agent and translate.

The apartment was very clean on arrival, we could smell the cleanliness products. The location is outstanding to visit Nerja: literally 1 min walking to the main square, restaurants and beach. There are bakeries, supermarket, coffee shops and restaurants literally across the street. Our apartment had 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (very confortable), 1 complete WC and kitchenette with the basic cooking amenities. Dani was expecting us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. Excellent place to stay and enjoy Nerja. We will definitely consider Jimmy for the next vacations here.

Everything is perfect, the apartment is clean, bright and spacious, it has everything you can possibly need. The beds are extra comfy. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, and we realy enjoyed our stay. The location is great, the beaches are very close by, as well as the restaurants, shops of all sorts etc. All in all, we are very happy with everyrhing and would be glad to come again.

I have stayed at these apartments for almost every trip to Nerja in the last 11 years and it is always faultless ! Fabulous location with a 5 minute walk to the balcon and all the excellent restaurants and cafe bars. The staff at jimmys are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. I would recommend staying here if you want a great location with clean and good standard living for your holiday !

Apartment a short walk from the sea, 10 minutes walk to bus station, right in the center on a pedestrian street, yet on a very quiet street during nights and mornings (in the off-season). Apartment is in good condition, comfortable, with elevator and a nice balcony. The kitchen is adequately equipped and the only little thing we missed was brought by the helpful host within minutes.

Myself, my boyfriend and my parents thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hostal Alegre! We wish we could have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt very welcomed and well taken care of. The owners are truly hospitable and care for their guests and community. On our departure day, we were given the flexibility to stay longer until our taxi arrived to go to the airport. The pool was a great feature for relaxing, and the beach was close and easy to navigate to. The same goes for the city centre, close enough but not right in the hustle and bustle of the crowds.

The owners were absolutely welcoming and the place was clean, had access to a lovely pool and it's also only 10 minutes walk to Burriana beach. I will definitely repeat my experience in Nerja at Hostal Alegre. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Really nice apartments and shared pool, with plenty of restaurants, beaches and shops around. Our apartment was larger than expected, with great facilities including gas hobs, fridge/freezer and private balcony with beautiful views of the mountains.

Fantastic property - there’s access to a lovely pool, good air-con, comfortable beds, and a bar downstairs.

Jarno & Cecilia are excellent hosts. Always willing to provide any information requested and offering tips to help us get the best from our holiday. Check-in was hassle-free and our entire stay was very enjoyable. We stayed in a self-catering suite with an excellent terrace. Whilst some aspects of the property are slightly dated, we had everything we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable (I'm 1.96 metres 🙂). One of the reasons we chose the property was greater access to parking than the heart of the old town. This turned out to be very helpful and the short walk to the restaurants etc was very pleasant. It was a pleasure staying with Jarno & Cecilia and we would happily recommend their property.

Had a wonderful stay at Carabeo. All the staff are amazing from the reception, cleaners, chefs, waiters, waitresses etc. they are all so very friendly an helpful and made us feel very special. Great customer service. We arrived to a hotel with no electricity an a hotel in darkness on the power outage day in Spain . As the hotel is closed on Mondays . Luca was on reception and in charge. We had already had quite stressful day but he was amazing . He was so friendly an helpful and made sure we had everything we needed including a welcome drink to ease the stress. Big thanks to Luca. We also had a very friendly an couldn't do enough for us lady on reception for rest of week but sorry didn’t get her name but all the reception staff were great. We stayed in Calahonda suite which was beautiful. Four poster bed with living room & terrace overlooking pool & sea. Was heavenly and so relaxing. The food for dinner service is exceptional in such lovely surroundings & ambience. The staff serving were again so friendly an helpful despite being busy every evening. We spent 4 nights here in Burriana, a first floor family suite with a balcony. Views are perfect. This is perhaps more of a restaurant with rooms, but the service for those staying is excellent. The atmosphere is towards the traditional - dark wood, antiques, wrought iron etc. Our room was comfortable (the sofa-bed for our son less so, though a bit of extra padding from a duvet helped). I expected an old-fashioned bathroom, in keeping with the general style, but it was quite modern, maybe recently tiled, with a good shower. The aircon was powerful - much appreciated. The food in the restaurant is good and the setting superb, though we preferred the tapas at the front of the hotel. Service throughout was fabulous. Breakfasts were wonderful. The pool is lovely and we were usually the only ones using it. It's close to beaches and the most atmospheric parts of Nerja. Just a few minutes walk to the Balcon de Europa. Honestly we thought this place was a gem - great value and in a perfect location.

A great place located within reach of everything, situated in a quiet street just off the main square. Good communication from booking and sending location of where to park near-by (20euro for a overnight stay) to checking in with friendly reception staff. Through the restaurant was a terrace with pool that overlooked the sea. Plenty of eating options close-by , we stayed on the night the hotel restaurant was closed (Monday) so didn't get to try a meal, but breakfast was tasty with options that were then prepared not Buffet style. Our room was clean , comfortable and a good size. We will definitely make a return visit.

Lovely hotel for what we paid, staff were very friendly and helpful - great facilities from the pool and terrace area to the lively sports bar with singers a few times a week. Breakfast was good and we had one evening meal there which was an Indian themed night with lots of choice (excellent dhal soup!). We also managed to get a sunbed each on both occasions that we wanted one! It's a ten minute walk to the beach and 20 mins into the beautiful town of Nerja, which was perfect for us! There was also a 'spa' (small heated indoor pool and jacuzzi) which we made use of for an hour and a few gymnasium equipment machines to use.

Stayed 9 nights, this is NOT a four star hotel by european standards I’d say 3 star would reflect the hotel better. Location is ok, about a 20minutes walk from the town (all up hill) and 15 minutes from nearest and most popular beach. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. There always a kettle and mugs but no tea, coffee, sugar etc, so why the point of kettle at all?! Staff were generally ok but not overly friendly or helpful. Pool are is nice but again pool is small. We had the breakfast once during our stay, it standard nothing special. There is a supermarket across the road which was handy for water, breakfast etc. hotel has entertainment most nights but we didn’t bother with it.

Small friendly hotel. Decent size pool and well stocked Sport bar with reasonably priced drinks and food on offer in the bar. In need of some TLC. Small rooms and varied balcony sizes from medium to very tight. Pool area was lovely. Place was very kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Location not great as at far top of Nerja albeit only 25 minute walk downhill to centre. Bit of a climb walking back uphill if you’re not fit. Can always grab a taxi back for around 7 euros. In all decent 3 star reasonably priced boutique hotel

I liked that half board was cheap. I didn’t like the noise made by the club at night. The swimming pool was better than most Spanish hotels’ pools.

This is the third time we have been to the Nerja club Hotel. All the staff at this hotel are very warm and friendly also very helpful. Its convenientl located to get around to all the places of interest and you can walk to the burianna beach and walk into nerja town itself. That takes around 20 mins. The food is good you can either have the buffett or bar food - both are good. Thwey have a nice outdoor pool - although its not warmed up its still good to get into especially when its very hot. They have plenty of sun loungers and tables chairs outside. Highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Jeg nåede ikke at spise dig med det så meget lækkert ud og super hyggeligt poolen var ikke åbnet da jeg var der så jeg tog bare ned til stranden der lå 7 minutter i bilen fra hotellet.

It was a great stay, the staff were very friendly, the pool and gardens were attractive and well kept. Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff.

Near the motorway so easy to access all the sites around. But we didn't hear any noise from motorway. Room was small and a little bit old as well as shower. Bed was very comfy as well as pillows. Staff is helpful. Breakfast was ordinary but enough as for 6€/person and it was better than in some more expensive places. They have nice garden full of lots of different fruits. Cosy pool but small. We got great dinner last evening - the restaurant really suprised us as the food was great and not expensive

Great view of coast, Mediterranean and sunset, though a motorway has been built to slightly spoil it since I last stayed here many years ago 😆. Very good continental breakfast buffet with fresh ingredients, fruit, natural juice, croissants, and great coffee, for a very good price.

Check in was easy even though we had been very delayed and it was past midnight. Our room was spacious and clean with a huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was good after a really good night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel has good free parking and is very easy to find.

We only stayed one night, as breaking the journey from Granada to Malaga airport. It's a lovely hotel. It is a bit of a walk down to the beach from it, as it's up on the outskirts of the town centre. There is parking, but not lots of space. The room we had was enormous and lots of facilities. The terrace was huge and had stunning views to the sea. Lovely pool area too. Staff are friendly and very helpful. There is a restaurant attached and it serves fabulous food. There's a happy hour (lasts for 2 hours, from 5pm) for drinks too and you can sit outside in the front. Breakfast is fantastic, buffet of hot (eggs, bacon, sausage) and cold foods, all the fruit and pastries you can eat, cereals etc. It's a lovely hotel and I would have liked to stay longer. I'd definitely go back, didn't have chance to use the pool, it was a little cold on the day we arrived (April).

The hotel and grounds are lovely, though not so easily walkable from the bus station. Once there, the bar, dining, and breakfast are well above average. The pool and pool area have lovely views of the Mediterranean. The room was huge by European standards. Great place for a few nights.

Stayed for one night while on family road trip in Andalusia. Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Swimming pool area close to room and clean. Our 4 year old loved playing in the pool. Rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast is a basic continental, which suited us fine.

Los Arcos is a little way out of the centre of Nerja (25 minute walk). We had a pleasant, comfortable and very clean room with a beautiful view towards the sea. Shower worked well and plenty of warm water. Lovely swimming pool and surrounding area. Unfortunately after our second day it was emptied for maintenance but we were offered the free use of the pool in the hotel next door. Just a 15 minute walk from Burriana beach which is buzzing and full of bars. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

On this occasion, first impressions here,are not what to go by. This a really decent hotel and you will be very well looked after. there is a swimming pool. The bathroom was a tad on the small side, but all in all ok. Beware the dragon in the restaurant next door! Dare to take your ‘Happy Hour drinks in there and you’re greeted with,’no, you cant bring those in here’ rather than “ Good Evening” with an apology and explanation. Having said all this, the food was very good. Because of the rotten welcome wed had, we only bought water between two of us, rather than wine, so they shot themselves in the foot with their attitude.

I have to give a completely honest review. You get what you pay for. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. We stayed out of season so it was very quiet. As long as you follow the booking instructions check in was seamless. The surroundings in Maro are beautiful. For the price you CANNOT complain and the apartments are fine to use as a base to explore the local area and Nerja. We would stay again.
