Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Nuevo Vallarta

We stayed in Penthouse Suite # 1 which has a wonderful 180 degree view of the ocean. The suite is nicely appointed & very spacious. It has 2 bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. There is a king bed in each room. The penthouse suite has a separate lounge & small dining table. The suite had a microwave & full size fridge as well as utensils. We were very comfortable. We had own private plunge pool. It was cold, but enjoyable. Filtered drinking water is available on all floors. We had a pitcher in our suite which we kept filled. The Pool bar is great & the bar tender made me fabulous pina coladas. The location of the hotel is very convenient. We loved walking the Malećon & visiting Old Town.

We really liked that the beach is a few steps across the street and you can get chairs and umbrellas from the hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is amazing! We didn't like that the pool area is kind of small and you can't really get pool service. It doesn't feel like you're at a resort, but it's what you get for a rooftop pool. The food at lunch by the pool is amazing. The surrounding area of the hotel is kind of dirty, but never did we feel unsafe. It's a great location for walking to the Malecon and to several restaurants. It's the 2nd time we have stayed here due to it's location. One downside is that you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet so you have to put it in a garbage can which takes a little getting used to.

Fantastic roof top pool with a spectacular view. Great location. Pool snack bar was wonderful. Rooms are big. Beds are very hard. Nearby bar blasts music until midnight but roof top pool made up for it.

It was a very relaxing quiet oasis off the main boardwalk but not too far from everything that Puerto Vallarta has to offer. The staff was proactive and kind. Their complimentary breakfast was delicious and green juice to look forward to each morning. I would come back again to this property because of the laid back vibe. The pool with the view of playa camarones was breathtaking, the rooftop bar snack was all fresh to order. I wanted to stay away from screaming kids in the pool so this was the perfect stay for those looking for quieter atmosphere.

Clean, small, nice, and comfy. The pool is not heated, it was too cold. My husband did not go in me, and my boys did, but we froze, for good 30 minutes. NO water bottles for your room. One minute away from the beach walking distance. The service was excellent! Our stay was for 2 days and breakfast was cold both days. Will recommend the snack bar by the pool. Food, drinks, and service were excellent! Over all 9/10.

The Hacienda Adults Only pools were quiet and lush. We liked the bigger one and swim up bar. There are lots of pool lounger chairs and umbrellas. All the staff gave top-notch service. Food quality was really good at all the a la carte restaurants and buffets. French was our favorite. We loved the lamb chops in red wine reduction. The Asian and Mexican theme nights at the main buffet were done well. There were both inside and outside seating there. The rooftop bar above the Mexican Restaurant was our favorite pub but wasn't open some nights.. There is also a rooftop sushi day bar overlooking the ocean with an infinity pool that had the best view of the bay. The nightly entertainment shows were all excellent. There was an acrobatic show above the pool with a fire show, traditional Mexican dancing, a Michael Jackson show, and an outside carnival style games night. The room was large and well appointed, with a large fan above bed with a wall switch and quiet air conditioning. Big tv, a safe, a stocked mini bar, table and chairs, and a reading lounger chair. Great shower area and tub. Nice balcony with big chairs.. We tipped housekeeping daily and had excellent service.This hotel really aims to please. We were impressed and will probably stay again.

customer service was great! Paula cleaned our room and she was great! she was able to schedule the cleaning of our bedroom at times when my baby wasn't taking a nap. Daniel at the pool was great! He knew exactly what we wanted as soon as we would get to the pool. All staff was very friendly and provided great customer service. The food was delicious!

Resort was very nice and clean. Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs for a friend's bachelorette party. Buffet was good, restaurants were excellent. Pool facilities were very clean and towels were always available.

We really enjoyed the adult’s area! Because it was beautiful and kind of quiet, so we enjoyed the gorgeous pool, even to walked around the property under the rain was the best experience ever!!

All the personal was very nice, I. Was there to celebrate my birthday with my best friend, her husband, and daughter. Then my son, my daughter in law an my 3 grandchildren arrived as a surprise, the personal at the registration desk, help him to locate me and surprise me. So at the end it was 10 of us we all liked the facilities, the food, buffet had very good variety, our room, very clean and comfortable, but my favorite place was the adults pool, the infinity pool was awesome.

I definitely love the big pool, which is excellent for my family. The room has a nice pool and sea view. The beds were comfortable.

Loved the beach and pool area. The bed was very comfortable! The food was really good actually compared to others all inclusive options. All was lovely.

Loved the location. Quiet, but close to downtown. Loved the private pool and the open air layout of the Sky Suite C. But the best was our chef Benjamin who prepared 5 star quality meals for us. He was very professional.

Amazing indoor/outdoor living, private pool overlooking the ocean, airconditioning and large bedroom/bathrooms. We were also really lucky to have been hosted by a private chef, Sara, who cooked us the most delicious authentic meals. Couldn't be happier with our stay at Vallarta Shores Beach Hotel!

The apartments are quite unusual and luxurious. They are all catered for. We had 3 different rooms during our stay, 2 with our own private pool. It's right in front of the beach which is really nice.

Our room was nice and cleaned everyday by staff. We started our mornings with breakfast at market Cafe. Adrian and Antonio took great care of us while eating breakfast. We could then walk along the beach for a while. Then up to the room to get ready for the pool. We hung out at the swim up bar pool for hours. Adventuring in to town was easy using Uber. Rides only cost us a few US Dollars. Felt safe everywhere we went. On our list of places to return.

Wow. We stayed a couple nights here looking for a relaxing place to workout, play tennis, sit/drink by the pool, enjoy some good food - and this checked all the boxes. The people and staff here are so kind and wonderful - impressively most are bilingual and english accommodated. We loved the various dining options across both Secrets & Dreams sides - incuding the cafes that serve yummy snacks and drinks. The pools are plenty, clean, beautiful, great places to chill - and the swim up bar is so fun. Through Expedia we got a free upgrade and we couldn't be more grateful for the ocean view & waking up to the sounds of soft waves crashing. The gym is AMAZING - the tennis court was quite fun (interesting texture, immitated clay we think). Thank you for a wonderful stay, relaxing and refreshing. Beautiful luxurious property - Secrets side is calming and spa-like. We are so grateful to your kind staff for treating us so wonderfully!

For the most part, a very relaxing anniversary trip for me and my wife. Alberto the pool-side server was a major highlight, and we were well taken care of by Kemsy/Maria/Wendy at Market Cafe, Saul at Tamarindo, and all the other fantastic wait staff. The pool temperature was a major issue of the trip and was freezing cold until our very last day. We complained to concierge and saw many other guests complaining as well with no action seemingly taken until we had to leave. We booked a swim-out suite and never used it due to how cold it was. Very disappointing for a 5-star resort and likely would not go back for that reason alone. Otherwise, the food and staff were 10/10 and we had a fun trip.

One of the best all-inclusive resorts we've stayed at. We were there with a small group of picky eaters and I don't recall a single person having a bad meal. The food is excellent. Rooms were clean and a nice design. Only two complaints were the frozen drinks in the pool area aren't mixed well and there are no air conditioned bars for the evening...could at least install ceiling fans to move the air. I don't typically like to highlight individuals in my reviews but our group was extremely lucky to meet Alejandro in the pool area as he really took great care of us the entire trip. He is super friendly and gave us some great trip tips throughout the week. Overall experience was very good and we'd recommend Secrets to other travelers. Pros: Very good food, nice rooms, clean, great service, nice gym, and great pool area with options for different patron preferences. Cons: Lack of air conditioning in many general areas, evening entertainment was just so so, frozen drinks at the pool bars are not mixed well.

Just came back from a 5 day trip at this resort and my goodness, we didn't want to leave. Everything was amazing. The service was excellent, I can't say enough. Jonathan and Alejandro at the pool area were incredible!! The staff at Oceana provided wonderful lunch and dinner service, even anticipating our choices as we dined there multiple times! The entertainment crew did dances and activities in the pool area and their overall energy was awesome. Throughout the resort, all the staff are friendly and accommodating. The Himitsu restaurant was our absolute favorite with its Asian menu and Teppenyaki (must make reservations for that....WORTH IT!!). The rooms were perfect, we had the Jr Suite Ocean View room which had a small whirlpool jacuzzi tub in there and we both were able to fit in there. ;) We spent the majority of time at the resort, on purpose, we needed the relaxation. But we did branch out to the Zona Romantica area one night and danced the night away. Only a 10-15 min cab ride. We missed Malecon, drove past it, but it's also close by. Overall, I would highly recommend coming to this resort!

I loved how clean & quiet the adult side was. the pool was absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

We had an incredible stay to finish off our trip in Mexico. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. One person who stood out was Joaquin! During our stay we had a variety of options of where to eat but we found ourselves always wanting to go to the buffet where Joaquin was. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with food and out stay. We will be coming back and are hoping to see him upon our return.

SERVICE, excellent service from the staff. There was not one person that we can complain about.

Alejandra was amazing, as well as Paul. We were upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. Our suite status allowed my friend and I access to The Hacienda as well, which was a nice option. The folks working here made it a very nice stay despite some of the food stuff I mention below, which could be unreasonable expectations on my end as I've never stayed at an all-inclusive before.

We enjoyed our experience, we had some difficulty at checkin but it was accommodated with an upgrade to a swim up pool which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is kind and helpful. Great onsite performances and concierge is excellent

We had a suite with a swim out area, and outdoor sitting area with lounge chairs, which we very much enjoyed. The Hacienda is adult only, which we very much enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I didnt like being pushed by every employee there to take a tour and 90 minute sales pitch about them promoting a new hotel and a 10 year plan presentation. I went for a holiday not to be harassed. I wouldnt call the rooms swim out rooms as the indiviual pools are not connected to the main pool which is what i had assumed they meant by a swim out room. The resturants need a bit more variety. The raccoons and iguanas are probably the highlight of the hotel as they are very interesting to see. The bed is extreamly comfortable which is nice. I enjoyed my stay non the less as the hotel is lovely.

Where to start, from the time we walked in, to the time we left, Elizabeth and Paola took excellent care of us. Always checking to make sure everything was great! The staff is amazing as well. From Daniel at the family side of resort, ( pool area), to Cesar, Carlos and the others at the Adult side, bringing us beverages and checking on us all day, to Miguel, Guerado and Salvador in the restaurants taking care of us too. I know I am missing some too, sorry for that. Everyone deserves a shoutout. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a swim out room, with a small private pool for us, was really nice. The neat thing about the resort to me was, you can use the whole resort if you want. We stayed on adult side, but were able to enjoy the beach on the family side too. We tried most of the restaurants, which were good. Adult side has a buffet right by the pool. You can grab a plate and sit by the pool still. All in all, we were very happy with the place. Will definitely go back again.

Really nice, relaxing week that went by way too quickly. Our Junior Suite with pool was spacious, quiet and close to the adult pool, breakfast buffet and lunch buffet. Poolside service was attentive and also easy to go directly to swim up bar. A la carte restaurants ranged from underwhelming to great in the same (Steakhouse) restaurant. Some people knocked the food however my wife and I, overall found enough variety to be happy with the menu. We ate at the larger buffet nearer to the beach a couple of times. A couple of standouts for service. Elizabeth at the Conceirge was great at helping with activities, a la carte restaurants and knowledge of the facilities. The other is Emma who served us in both breakfast and lunch buffets. Emma was attentive, friendly and clearly loves what she does. Also went above and beyond by getting me bags of ice, so I could ice my knees poolside and helped us with our Spanish! Both these ladies were hard to say goodbye to and a reason to return. We will keep this property on our list to recommend and to rebook with.

Good stay! Good amenities! Wish there was another option for breakfast daily other than the buffet. Spa was amazing. Alejandro the server at the pool side was the best! He took care of us at our swim up pool all weekend and always found us at the main pool to take care of us as well.

What we did not like was they close the ocean swim up bars at 6pm. Still light and sun sets for 2 1/2 hrs???? WHY Older property but very still nice. Our "OUR Butler Jose was the BEST ever!!! We stayed in all adult Secrets side! All wait staff excellent. But closing the pool bar so early was a buzz killer for everyone. With such beautiful sunsets, why close so early.

This is our second stay at this resort & I would have to say whilst the resort is still very nice it feels a little run down for the price of staying here. We had a junior swim out suite suite & the first room we were given had a faulty sliding door that could not be secured (& looked like it had been like that for some time) & the spa bath inside the room was also broken. The pool temperature was quite cold & hence rarely used. Our mini bar was filled on the day we arrived & only then again on the day before we checked out (we stayed 7 nights) & the food in the restaurants (apart from the food at the Buffet) was pretty disappointing. On the positive side, we had great service from lots of the staff & the NYE event put on by the resort was outstanding.

We went with a large group (20 adults 22 kids). Small to medium size resort. Which worked for us with kids due to a lot of walking from one place to another. Most of us stayed at the Preferred Club, which is a separate building but right next to the main buffet, pool and beach. Advantages of Preferred club is that each room comes with a personal assistant, who you can text and request anything. Has access to somewhat premium drinks on the 2nd floor. Has small lounge area with food items 24hrs, next to the concierge on the ground floor. Overall its great. Food: pretty decent. They try to add variety daily for lunch and dinner. Seevice is pretty good but can be a bit of delay based on how busy it is. But they try their best. Restaurants are good, different items compared to buffett. Must try the seafood restaurant next to the pool, they got fresh catch (red snapper) fried and pork belly tacos are amazing. But everything on the menu was good. Snack bar by the pool has amazing fried fish tacos, plus chicken fingers, hotdogs, burgers, fries, nachos. Pools: well maintained, the waiters are pretty quick with the drinks. Some mixed drinks could be a bit too sweet. But overall good. Beach: okay, nothing compared to Cancun beaches. Although no seaweeds, but tons of rocks which made it difficult for kids and elderly to walk around in the water. But the area outside of the beach is very clean. Activities: kids club, nigh club, and had shows some days. But mostly signing and karaoke.

Love this resort and would definitely come back! Great food at the restaurants ~ we ate at Castaways, Japanese, and Italian. Impeccable service at all with great attention to detail. Plenty of seating around pool (don’t have to go early to reserve spots), pool bar gets a little crowded in the afternoon when all the drinkers are there but a really nice vibe in the morning hours when it’s quieter with relaxing music. So nice to have the Barefoot grill to get food and snacks without having to get dressed and go into a restaurant. They come by frequently to refill drinks, so you are rarely without a cold beverage! Rooms are roomy and clean, beautiful views in front (city) and back (ocean). PV combines my two favorite things, mountains and beach ❤️

Loved the location! EVERYONE was so nice. Our poolside server was amazing! Remembered our drinks all day-twice! Service at the rooftop restaurant was awesome!! Betty the massage therapist was the best!!! Room was huge. Private pool was a nice bonus as well.

We felt good value for our money here. We spent most of our time at the infinite pool or beach. My son enjoyed the kids club a couple times as well. We ate at omaggie most of our stay for breakfast. It was buffet. Never tried lemongrass because the hours were in the middle of when we wakted to eat. For lunch we were mostly at the infinity pool, so we would order with our server Paco( Francisco) or get tacos from the taco station. The pool menu had a good selection and great food. We tried several different things from there. Dinner we ate twice at the sister resort and two or three times at insu, amd once at mazzomare. All of the food we had was excellent, except the mexican restaurant at Emotions. It lacked a good selection and wasnt that great in taste. We attempted a show at emotions one night for fiesta night, but we left after 20 minutes. Emotions pool is open way later than distincts. Kids area not that gre Our room was the most basic room of king with a balcony, but it was awesome. It had 2 full bathrooms, washer and dryer, kitchen, dining room table, living room, and seperate bedroom. Staff was all super friendly. They all worked hard to keep the grounds clean and well maintained. We did get approached by our conceirge lady about the membership several times, which annoyed my husband, but after reading reviews it wasnt really a surprise. I warned him. It was a prefect place to have a nice relaxing vacation, even with a five yesr old. We would stay here again.

We liked our room and amenities in general, sleepers would have been a good option. The pools were clean and the service at the pool and beach was excellent. We found the food to be pretty good but the drinks not so much. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and the food was nice, the service was as bit slow, it felt understaffed. Overall we enjoyed our stay and probably be back.

The low key atmosphere, quiet property, friendly staff, easy assess to poolside lounges & cabanas. The partial private beach was amazing! Plenty of chairs and the beach service was top notch. The pools were always clean free from leaves & debris.

Very different from your usual all inclusive resorts. Do your research. Lots of strict rules. No taking food to go. No buffet. Sit down restaurants only. Annoying sales pitch at check in. Questions like "What do you do for a living"? No getting room key till you get through the pitch. No bottled water anywhere. Have to pay extra for bottled water... Room service is 10% charge. Tough with little kids with no buffet. Asked for ice cream to go at the restaurant by the pool, not allowed. Have to sit down to eat. Ice cream only after 1 pm... No more towels by the beach and infinity pool. They give you some kind of thin blankets to lie on.

The ocean was feet away and the tide pools were amazing.

I was so blown away by my stay. It was a true villa, tile work in the room and all over was just gorgeous and charming looking. Room had a very old school and classy vibe and was comfortable, clean, and open. Right on the beach which was public but felt just secluded enough, with chairs and showers to use. I was living my White Lotus fantasy. All the staff, (shoutout Jerry, Sonia, Ixtel, and the Kitchen ladies and gentlemen) were awesome and accommodating and food was delicious. Great ocean view from the dining room. Good location a half hour walk from Zona Romantica if you're up for it, can be good alternative to taxi. Can catch bus nearby to Boca de Tomatlan and then hike to beautiful beaches. Would definitely come again!

This was such a unique and beautiful property. We were worried we would regret not getting a resort but that was not the case at all. The rooms are huge! The AC was fantastic in the Maria room and the view was just over the top. We felt like we were on our own property. It's such an intimate vibe. The beach is beautiful. You can swim you just have to watch for rocks. If you are trying to dive right in and swim without watching your step, you'll need to walk down a ways. We loved everything. The food was delicious.

Traditional Mexican style and feels like a private house. The open air suite was wonderful to fall asleep to the waves. The balconies (Alejandro) perfect to gaze at the sea and sky and whale watch all times of day. Private beach with beverage and snack service. Daily delicious cooked breakfast al fresco. And the staff was amazing! Easy to get a $5 uber to town or walk there )about 25 min) along the beach.

The property and room (Alejandro) was absolutely breathtaking! As a world traveler, this is one of the most unique, beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was friendly, warm, and accommodating. The food was superb. We enjoyed swimming and having breakfast right on the beach. Highly recommend this hotel to solo travelers, couples, and groups of friends for a relaxing, one of a kind experience. Would return again!

This is a beautiful property and the staff is amazing. Just do not expect if you are all inclusive to have a bar in your room or beers, pops and water brought to you even if you ask. Also the food is mediocre at best. No buffet just 3 options for dinners but the views are amazing. The beach bar and food is the best by far. Definitely get a villa with the private pool you will not hate it at all.

This hotel was just what I was looking for for a 5 night get away. Quiet, out of the way, great food and most of all, the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever encountered in an all-inclusive. Although not for every vacationer, I enjoyed the low occupancy, enabling us to socialize with other couples without the endless noisy activities of other resorts. This is not a beach resort; but the beach is accessible by a 3x/day shuttle. No evening entertainment, no volleyball, no shuffleboard. The resort is built into the jungle hillside, with a beautiful nature walk, birds, and butterflies. No bugs, scorpions, or geekos. Two resident cats kept that all under control! The staff was delightful. A special shout-out to Jimmy at the bar, who kept us well hydrated and stuffed with snacks! The head waiter, Roelf, was a delight and Natalia made the best flaming Mexican coffee ever! Note that although they provide transport by golf cart from your room to the pool/restaurants, people with mobility issues will have difficulty getting around due to steep walkways and steps to the pool area.

The resort is beautiful. Our room was gorgeous. The view was amazing. We saw lots of birds. The pools were amazing. The staff was amazing. Lots of staff to mention- Roberto, Gustavo, both of the Jesus’! The shuttle to the beach resort was timely and easy to catch! The things I wish they had- a schedule for sinners so that you can plan your meals. Not all restaurants were open every night. We ate Italian 2x because that’s all they had. I also wish they had a lobby bar- would be nice to have a drink while waiting for a shuttle or a cab. I’d also like to see a gift shop- for some snacks or Tanning supplies, or Tylenol. Overall, I think this resort is beautiful with beautiful pools, friendly staff, and amazing views.

I love the jungle property, it is so relaxing. When we stayed the resort was almost empty, so we felt like very special guests. I love waking up to the sound of the birds every morning. The dinners were excellent, and we had top notch service from the staff. Front desk, shuttle drivers, and the regular bartender at the Sky Bar were all excellent. Renee was especially gracious and made sure we were having a good time. Our room was cleaned and restocked every day. We spent our days on the beach where the food is exceptional and the service outstanding. Margarito made sure we were never without food and drink. The beach a La Cruz is the most beautiful in the area. Its not crowded and the water warm and clear- perfect for swimming. The property could use some fixing up and I was dissapointed that the mineral pool was not as warm as years past. However under new ownership it sounds like good things are in the works. This was my third visit and am looking forward to returning next year.

The property was well looked after and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The food and drinks were fantastic. The property felt extremely safe. I would highly recommend this property to groups looking for a relaxing vacation. There was no fighting over pool loungers or long waits for restaurants like I've experienced at other resorts. A couple of minor drawbacks: poor wifi reception, many of the listed amenities were not available during our stay, no room service available, and having to shuttle between buildings created some delays. There were also no hair dryers in the room so I embraced my either wet or extremely wavy hair for the duration. Overall, I would stay here again with no hesitation.

Great location. Perfect beach. Walk to downtown with lots of tourist shops and restaurants. Restaurants at the resort are all high quality with very nice staff. Bars and pools have great staff that will come to get drink orders all the time. The quality of the drinks is very good.

I loved the room and amenities. I so enjoyed the pool exercises and the staff taught such fun challenging classes. The staff from Carlos to Juan were so amazing. The staff were so sweet and hard working!!

Perfect hotel , excellent service all over., all the employees are very kind and helpful, great food . We enjoyed a lot and we will come again! There were two things that bothered me- the pillows weren’t comfortable and sometimes bad smell in the room

The bed was so comfortable and the unit is really well supplied with kitchen tools, beach supplies (chairs, cooler, umbrella), different types of towels (beach, pool & shower). We were impressed with how well stocked the house was and how comfortable and big the bed was. We only saw another person at the pool one time in our entire 4 months stay so the entire property felt totally private. The host had quick and responsive communication, always. Our stay was overall amazing and we would definitely love to return!

Husband and I stayed in premium apartment on third floor of this property for 2 weeks From initial booking to checkin to checkout everything was first class snd seamless. Communication with Manuel the host was instantaneous. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals and fully functional. All appliances except dishwasher including in suite washer and dryer. King size bed was comfortable with amazing linens. Towels provided are white snd luxurious. Its decorated tastefully and meticulously clean. Full balcony with table and chairs. View of ocean. 3 blocks from the beach. There’s 2 beach chairs with beach umbrella and cooler for beach days. Well maintained pool on main floor with deck loungers under swaying palm trees We had opportunity to view other apartments and house on this property and all are beautiful, and well maintained. We highly recommend this property for able bodied guests. The walk from beach is on incline! We got our exercise which was needed after dining on amazing food in the many walkable restaurants nearby.Large Grocery/department store 10 minute walk from property. A staff member who is an uber driver provided our airport transport approx 15 minute drive. Such a great quiet hideaway. Don't hesitate to book here! Betty from Canada

We liked the location on a quiet street and the suite was well-equipped for everything we needed. Spacious balcony and living room. Very nice pool. The property manager communicated promptly and clearly (in English) and was flexible when our plans changed.

This place was great, we forgot our code and they answered our request right away and double checked with us that we were all good. so clean, comfortable pool was great

First time in this appartment, but I will be back, for sure. All what you can imagine that you need was there. Nice balcony, good equipment over all. Ventilators and air condition. Even seats and umbrella for the beach! All small details like coffee machine, water, filters was there. Located in a quiet area you can park your care safly in the street. Wlking distance to the beach like 7 minutes. A lot of nice restaurants near by walking distance. Thank you for this relaxed stay :-)

This was an incredible experience with such nice staff that took good care of us. The restaurant & pool area was so wonderful to just hang out & relax, the food is excellent. We stayed in one of the Villas, which are very clean & roomy- the beds comfortable and spacious with plenty of closet space. I only have 1 complaint- the spiral stairscase in the villa is difficult to maneuver, not an easy climb especially for someone older. Otherwise, an excellent place to stay.

We stayed in the Honeymoon suite. The kitchen was nicely supplied. There was dish soap, dish cloths, a toaster and a blender which are things we don’t get in most hotels. The room was nicely large for two people, we really enjoyed the space. The patio outside was a nice place to do my morning yoga practice. The pool was a great place to cool off and sit by a waterfall while relaxing after a day of touring.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hacienda Lord Twigg. The staff was amazing, the food and drinks delicious and the suite we booked was beautiful. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I will warn people that the suite we had was equipped with a spiral staircase. So for those with mobility issues, or even super heavy large suitcases you might be in trouble. I also really loved the fact that the suite had a fenced in parking spot for us to use. It was not very big, but was nice to have as street parking in the area could be challenging. The neighborhood is a bit far from a lot of the main touristy spots, but for us that was a positive. There are still great restaurants within walking distance, public transportation nearby, and even a Soriana a couple of blocks away. I would definitely return - for longer next time.

Fue la más grata sorpresa el establecimiento. No se encuentra en área turística, sin embargo está muy cerca de la zona hotelera y de las atracciones. Si te gusta caminar, es perfecto, de lo contrario taxi o Uber al Malecón son muy baratos. La atención y cuidado con los detalles son lo que más impresionan, es un lugar para sentirte en casa! Y mira que la Villa que nos quedamos es una casa, decorada con mucho cariño y muy cómoda. Otro aspecto que nos sorprendió positivamente es la limpieza impecable de la habitación. Desayuno muy completo y preparado al momento. Si quieres estar frente al mar sentado, no es para ti, pero si te gusta salir a pasear y llegar a descansar después en un lugar que se siente como casa, te lo recomiendo ampliamente!

Excellent location and just a few minutes walk to the beach. The accommodations were much like a studio apartment. Everything we needed was there. The outside sitting area was a bonus because we were able to sit outside at night and enjoy the evenings. Having the washer and dryer on site was HUGE! Also, there were beach chairs and beach towels to use. Saved us having to rent chairs. Also, Beach Please left instructions and QR codes for best places to eat, shopping and activities.

If you want the best dinner and best service, ask for Enrique and Gael at Quinton’s. I have known Enrique for over 6 years and was so proud to see his son Gael following in his father’s footsteps. Hostel Vallerta is so cute. The people /staff are so warm . It's run by an older lady. We called her Mamacita. She cooks in the morning, takes care of everything. She even went and bought an iron for us so we could use so we could look good for our date night to LA Capella. Also, Laura ( pronounced Lauda) Beautiful inside and out. She will help you in anyway she can, never stops smiling

Beautiful hostel with very nice staff and owners, centrally located and it was great having breakfast each morning! The volunteers are very nice and welcoming. We had an issue with our dorm room and the owners kindly switched us to a private no problem and at no extra charge. We really appreciated that!

I loved everything about this hostel. There’s a welcoming and social vibe, the whole team are friendly and helpful and organise great events. Location is perfect just one block from the beach. Shops, bars and restaurants are nearby. Everything is clean and the free breakfast is an added bonus.

The location is perfect with everything close by and the staff are helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay here and for the price there is no better place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. I'll be staying there again for sure.

I love this place! I stayed at hotel Rosita before this and the room here was nicer! The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were soft! Breakfast is just pancakes and coffee, but good and very much appreciated!
