For those who have kids that love pool , small family of 4, must try once. Because they can enjoy the private pool all day long. Somemore have steam room and big bath tub. The best is the room come with 2 king size bed.

Beautiful hotel and very helpful staff members our room was lovely with a private pool. We tried both city view and Sea view. Both were great really helpful to have amenities within the hotel. We enjoyed the spa as well as the rooftop restaurant breakfast had a lot of variety which was great.

The room was beautiful, clean, esthetically pleasing, additional steam room and private pool made it even more special! Staff were amazing, food was good and the local area had everything needed. The other events/tours were accessible with a short taxi ride.

The private pool inside the room was definitely the highlight! The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for a family stay. The sea view from the balcony was breathtaking, and check-in was smooth. Friendly and helpful staff too!

Pool area was really relaxing and a nice escape area to cool down after a busy day. Everything was within walking distance. Staff were super friendly and helpful, parking was easy.

Stayed for 4 nights in April in a pool access room. Loved every minute of the stay. The people were welcoming and the room spacious and one thing I noticed were the towels were really good compared to most places. The breakfast was a mix of buffet style and a good selection of cooked options. The options changed every day. We did the tour which I enjoyed and loved the history. One tip, book your (grab) taxi from the Airport. They seem to charge a surcharge which is fine but just as easy to book your own.

Everything about The Blue Mansion is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We stayed in the Escoy Room….. a huge room which is beautifully decorated and has garden and pool access. The breakfasts were delicious… the afternoon tea treats each day with their poignant messages so sweet. We were very sad to leave this incredible hotel

Such a brilliant stay!! I was blown away by the mansion, such wonderful accommodation. Originally there was a mix up with our booking, however the mansion contacted me months in advance to work it out, and we ended up staying in the Tjong Townhouse for 2 nights and the Han Triple Suite for another 2 nights, plus we were given a complimentary lunch for the trouble. The townhouse was lovely - so spacious and well equipped, and I loved the loft bedroom, it was really easy to keep cool and I didn't have any issues with sound despite the earplugs provided. The mansion also drove us to and from the townhouse whenever needed, including for breakfast when requested, though there was also the easy option to have packaged breakfast dropped off at the townhouse the night prior. We also really enjoyed the Han triple suite, it was comfortable and clean, and the mansion provided lovely little desserts each evening as a cute surprise. The bathroom was spacious and included a bathtub, plus the mansion has a gorgeous pool which we loved using. The cafe and restaurant attached to the mansion are also great, as is the provided breakfast at the mansion - lots of options at the buffet, as well as some meals to order.

We stayed 4 nights and from our arrival following a long-haul flight to our departure we had the best time and 100% would return again. We were looking for something different and staying at this heritage site certainly is a great experience. We enjoyed every aspect of the home of Cheong Fatt Tze and especially the staff who provided excellent hospitality. Special thanks to Jalal and team for wonderful customer service throughout our stay. The breakfasts are good and offer a daily buffet dish (the Nasi Lemak was tasty) and the making of noodle soup too, and breakfast includes set menu dishes to choose from and also a buffet fruit selection. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable, clean and tidy, and spacious. Separate entranceway so guests can easily access outside courtyard and pleasant pool area. Informative and well delivered tour included in stay is recommended early on in your stay to better understand the background stories about the people and building. Staying at Cheong Fatt Tze is great example of a historic building still functioning in today’s world. Recommend if you’re looking for a unique experience.

It is the perfect place to relax after spending time on the busier other side of Penang island — especially if you enjoy nature and bicycle rides in the countryside. We upgraded to the chalet with private dip pool and that was a treat. The path up to the chalet is lined with fruit trees and the hosts explained each tree and the other plants around.

The people were very very friendly and helpful. (And the dogs were nice too) The little pool just outside our chalet stayed surprisingly cool and was a big bonus. The breakfasts were great, with "safe" options and a chance to explore local food! The place in general is peaceful and natural,.

The location is amazing. Fully immersed in nature. The walk up to the nearby Thai restaurant for sunset was great. We ate fresh Durian and pineapple. Explored the grounds lots—including the lovely local dogs. The pool is a really nice touch

Booked for 9 nights in the Executive Seaview Room. After 2 nights we upgraded to the Executive Suite which was double the size with two bathrooms and separate lounge. Wrap around balcony with great sea views. Monkeys were seen on the resort which we have never seen on our previous 4 stays. This is our 5th time here and on this occasion it seemed to be much quieter which made it easier to get seats and tables by the pool. Breakfast was good although it seemed to have a lot more vegetarian food and just chicken. I recall the last visit a few years ago there was a squid (sotong) dish which would have been nice and maybe offer lamb or beef. Breakfast staff are all professional and friendly and always service with a smile. Shuttle to Jen Hotel in Georgetown has been reduced to two a day each way. Very handy although there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and you can always get a Grab for around RM20 (UK £3.70). Pool table needs replacing as it’s damaged with missing balls. Also located in the wrong area as it’s right next to a wall so difficult to play. Was my partner's birthday and was presented with a birthday cake - lovely surprise. Loads of food stalls surrounding the hotel but also the Long Beach Café where there are lots of stalls serving different cuisine. Must have is the Laksa stall. Self service laundry available in the hotel but prefer to take to laundry shop opposite on the 2nd floor

I am writing to share details about my recent family vacation at the Shangri-La Golden Sands in Penang, which took place from August 9, 2025, to August 10, 2025. The package included breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent buggy service throughout our stay. Upon registration, the reception offered refreshing lime juice. We enjoyed the kids' pool games, which my three-year-old daughter particularly loved. We also appreciated the short walk to the beach from the pool, and enjoyed the sunset there. The day ended happily. On Sunday morning, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, where Mr. Langeswaren warmly welcomed us and arranged our seating. Their professional approach was greatly appreciated. We observed that the buffet offered a variety of dishes, but I must confess that I was not entirely satisfied with the food's taste. However, my family enjoyed our time there, and despite the rainy season, we spent almost an hour there, feeling completely content. When we requested a different seating arrangement, we noticed that the staff member, Mr. Vishal, served us exceptionally well. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your hotel and would like to return soon. Thank you to all the staff members who assisted us.

We are currently here having travelled around Malaysia , this is our last stop. Its a beautiful hotel but we had to upgrade our room so we could have a balcony, we were happy to do so as the room is lovely. We are in 520 on the 5th floor, great views overlooking the pools and sea. Loads of storage, huge bed, TV with English channels, huge shower and double sinks, tea and coffee making facilities provided. The beach is a minute walk. Breakfast is a mixture of different national dishes, they cater for everyone which is great. There are shops inside and cheaper ones just outside. Grab is cheap for a day out sightseeing. Plenty of places to visit. Staff are pleasant and very helpful. We're glad we stayed here and the weather has been amazing. The pools are lovely too. Would recommend this hotel if you are travelling Malaysia.

Free lemon infused water and cucumber infused water at the pool is a nice welcome to thirsty guests. Location was good with few eateries just around the corner. Amazing value comfy beddings good swimming pool

We stayed for 3 nights. I did not expect the 2-room suite to be this big. That is a plus after coming back from work to rest, and having 2 restless boys running around the unit. It has an extra room - study room. I thought the changing of lift at the 2nd floor to access the suite wing is going to be a problem logistically, but I'm wrong. It is not too bad after all. I dont mind not having a lift from car park to the lobby. Overall, I love the extra space & cleanliness, without sacrificing the hotel features i.e. bedding, shower, toilet, room service etc. I did not try the breakfast, as I was having it at my work place. Latte at the lounge was very nice. Pool was Okay for my kids and I. Overall, thumbs up

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay at the seaview premium 2- bedroom very much. Spacious rooms with ensuite bathrooms and beautiful sea views and full facilities including kitchen and washing machine. Very comfortable beds. Very quiet at night which means good soundproof. Fast and efficient customer services including daily cleaning and when we called to ask for items. The buffet breakfast has a great variety of selections. There are 2 separate pools - one for kids with slides, the other one is the infinity pool. Both are of decent sizes. There is a table tennis table next to the pool that we were able to enjoy during a rainy day.

Our stay at Ascott Gurney Hotel Penang was truly amazing and memorable. It was my first birthday trip with my wife and our one-year-old daughter, and the hotel made it extra special. All of my special requests were fulfilled perfectly — the room was beautifully decorated with balloons, and we were surprised with a complimentary slice of birthday cake complete with warm wishes. Our daughter absolutely loved the kids’ room, and the kids’ pool was the highlight of our stay. It was the first time she experienced being gentle and comfortable in the water, and she couldn’t get enough of the little pool slide. That alone makes us want to come back for our next staycation! The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering such a wide variety that I felt I had to try everything. The room was spacious and well-maintained, and the bed was so comfortable that I had one of the best deep sleeps I’ve had in a long time. Met by porters on arrival who took our bags, the reception was 24/7 so there was always someone to greet you on arrival. Rooms very spacious, big begs and small basic kitchen area. The pool & gym was great with a bar on the rooftop and pool towels available to use. Laundry service or self-service laundry is available in the hotel. Breakfast was not included we paid for it one of the mornings with lots of variety of foods from all over the world. Cafes close by with good breakfast also. Really enjoyed our stay, and would stay again.

Located at a very convenient location on Gurney Drive, the room we got was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The room was very clean and it comes with a filtered water tap which is always a plus in Malaysia. We had an incredible view of the sea from the room and also from the infinity pool. The bartender at the poolside bar was very attentive and made THE BEST cocktails. This will definitely be my go-to hotel when staying in Penang.

What a delightful hotel. Definitely 5 star, along with the room rate! It is right on the beach at the eastern end of Batu Feringghi, walking distance to food stalls, restaurants, night market and there's an ATM in the Petronas service station - don't use the one at Golden Sands, there is a hefty fee associated with it. The bus stop to Georgetown and Teluk Bahang is right near the driveway entrance, so very convenient. The Rasa has a fabulous buffet breakfast, the quantity and variety of food on offer is simply amazing. The pool area is beautifully maintained with plenty of banana lounges, within the sun and shade, and the gardens are beautiful. Our room was spacious, with KS bed, seating area, balcony and roomy bathroom. Everything worked, we have no criticism at all. A walk along the beach path will take you to the sister hotel, Golden Sands, a paradise for families with a children's pool, entertainment centre and casual dining. One word of warning, the monkeys will get into your room if you leave your door open- it doesn't matter which floor or wing you are on. Our Garden Wing room overlooked the pool area and the beach - a stunning view by day and night. We chose not to eat or drink and pay exhorbitant prices ++ given food/drinks are available a short walk away. The Rasa Wing, located next to the Garden Wing, is more expensive with restricted pool (adults only), and drinks/snacks included. We've loved our stay, we'd highly recommend it.

We enjoyed a wonderful six day stay in the Rasa Wing at this lovely hotel and our only regret was not booking for longer! All areas of the hotel are plush and clean. The amenities were great. I made use of the gym which was well appointed and quiet. We also took advantage of the jungle walk trip provided by the hotel which was a brilliant and educational way to spend the morning. Staying in the Rasa Wing confers special privileges and we would recommend staying there if budget allows. Every day there is a complimentary afternoon tea, and complimentary cocktails (and other drinks) with canapes every evening. As Rasa Wing guests we were also able to have an al a carte breakfast in the Feringgi Grill restaurant, and access to the Rasa Wing adults only swimming pool with complimentary soft drinks. All of the staff we met were warm, friendly, helpful and professional. In particular Muru at the Rasa Wing pool bar, who kept us furnished with drinks and had a great sense of humour. He really made our stay fun! Also a mention to the monitor lizard who made a guest appearance in and around the pool which was a delight. We would recommend a stay at this hotel and we certainly plan to return in the future for a longer stay.

I took a short escape from KL to Penang and decided to indulge at Shangri-La and it was nothing short of exceptional. The staff set the tone right from the beginning; warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Special appreciation to the front desk staff (an Indian lady, sadly I forgot her name) who showed remarkable kindness, professionalism, and understanding. The room was immaculate, with thoughtful touches waiting for me tau sar piah, cakes, and sparkling grape juice. Every detail was carefully curated, making me feel truly valued. The room itself was luxurious yet cozy, the kind of comfort that makes you wish your holiday never ends. Facilities here are world-class: from the gym, yoga sessions, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, to the beautifully fresh pools (no harsh chlorine smell at all!). I loved that they offered four different pool depths, from 0.45m for relaxing dips to the 2.2m deep pool for serious swimmers. The bed deserves its own mention plush, soft, and simply heavenly. And breakfast? A feast. The omelette was perfectly cooked, pastries fresh and flaky, while the nasi lemak and nasi tomato (made with fragrant basmati rice) were an absolute delight. In short: Shangri-La is not just a stay, it’s an experience. A must-visit for anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and genuine hospitality.

LOCATION: Over an hours drive from airport. Coastal village - less busy, but less developed than Georgetown. APPEARANCE: Beautiful, well maintained beachfront resort. Large lush garden areas. ROOM: Rasa Wing Deluxe Suite with connecting Superior Room. Very spacious, well fitted, clean and well maintained. One of the largest hotel bathrooms with a generous supply of amenities. Added complimentary fruits, snacks and mini bar. Spacious corner sea & pool view balcony with large bathtub (not jacuzzi). Peaceful comfy sleep. SERVICE: Fantastic, as good as it gets. DINING: Spice Market breakfast buffet was great - variety, quality, service, clean, well-managed crowds, the local beverage tea/coffee stand was a great added touch. Preferred this to Feringgi Grill ala carte breakfast. Inclusive Rasa Wing afternoon tea came in handy ACTIVITIES/FACILITIES: Fantastic. Wide variety. Could do with more poolside seating. Most disappointing aspect was the eroded barely present beach area. One of the best spas around. Able to use facilities and beach at adjacent Golden Sands Resort. Kids enjoyed the Adventure Zone (extra charge to enter). My 2 year old was very unsettled by the large (harmless) monitor lizards roaming around and even occasionally taking a swim in the pool. MY BOOKING AGENT: Hotel website. Will I recommend/stay there again? Yes without hesitation.

We booked 2 rooms in the Rasa Wing. It came with 2 venue choices for breakfast, The Spice Market for buffet breakfast or The Ferringhi Grill for a continental one, afternoon tea, cocktail hour and choice of 2 swimming pools. Check in went so smoothly and staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived. Our rooms were spotless and very inviting. The beds were very comfortable. The 5 of us went for the buffet dinner at their Spice Market Cafe. There was so much variety, the food was so fresh and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The over 16’s pool was lovely. The main pool is beautiful too, just busier. The hotel grounds have been kept immaculately. The gardens are so lush and heavenly with gorgeous red and pink frangipanis and giant trees. Big, bright room - clean, crisp bed linen/towels, ample toiletries (replenished each day) and water/tea/coffee facilities. I love a bath and although this meant a shower over the bath set up I was extremely pleased. Good gym and pool, well maintained although pool area overlooked by car park. Staff were excellent- attentive, informative, helpful.

Great new and modern hotel in Georgetown. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Good shower, good air-con, and good WiFi …. all very important! The staff were really kind and friendly. It was nice having a restaurant and a cafe downstairs for when we wanted something to eat but didn’t feel like walking. The pool and the gym were also great. There are some malls and supermarkets really close by, and not too far of a walk to the more touristy area of Georgetown.

The included breakfast was exceptional. The lounge with complimentary food and drinks was excellent. The pool was a welcome respite. Overall the hotel was above expectations

We booked the family room with lounge access and it was the best idea. They offered food and drinks every evening in a quiet atmosphere. Also having breakfast there was better that downstairs because it was quiet and there wasn’t waiting line for anything. The room was very clean and comfortable and the swimming pool decent for a city hotel.

This is our second stay at the Prestige and not only did it live up to our previous excellent experience, it exceeded it. The team are outstanding; from the welcome when you arrive through the whole stay. We spent two weeks at the hotel variously lounging by the excellent pool to exploring the island. They are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They are unobtrusive, but always there to assist if needed. The attention to detail and customer service by everyone from the housekeeping team, through front of house to the restaurant and pool teams are exemplary. The General Manager, Mr. Ooi, continues to innovate and keep the offering fresh and relevant and always seeks feedback and suggestions from guests. We have been visiting Penang for several years and can confidently say that since finding the Prestige, this is the only hotel we will stay at. We are already planning our next visit. If you are going to Penang, don't miss it.

I would come back just for the staff! Everyone was so welcoming from the moment we arrived! Even tho we arrived hours early for check in they had our room ready and welcomed us in. The room was clean full of complementary drinks and snacks. Being our honey moon they set up a lovely decoration and brownie for us to enjoy l. The pool was great with an amazing pool view and clean. Not to mention the great location to walk and see many of the local street art and enjoy delicious food.10/10 would come back again!

We have stayed three nights at the hotel, one of the best hotels we have traveled all over the world. The pool was heated and we enjoyed every morning swim, the view from the pool especially in the morning is divine. Everything in the hotel is classy, the room and bed were clean and very comfortable, the staff were kind and courteous, breakfast was very good.

Convenient location - a couple of convenience stores around, and a decent number of restaurants and cafes close by that one can easily walk to. Top level where the pool is, has a nice view in the evenings. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and amenities were clean. Pool is a nice addition along with the small gym. Finally, buffet breakfast of course ;) good range of food and drinks selection.

I'm glad i chose this hotel right at the centre of Penang. Connected to Gurney Plaza. The elevator will take you down from your room right to the amazing eateries in the Ground Floor. All the staff were amazing from security, concierge, reception, executive lounge and the restaurants, housekeeping, laundry, bar etc Executive lounge with varieties of snacks and drinks with free access for kids. Kids pool with floaters. Breakfast spread were great! Very big bathroom with 3 separate area including bath tub. They welcome you with ice cream in the reception. Walking distance to Padang Kota (Chinese Hawkers) and short distance to other city attractions by car/grab. I regret I didn't take much photos to share

By far the best hotel in Penang. Extremely clean, fabulous staff, fabulous pool, excellent location. I've been away for month and stayed at over 10 hotels but the G Hotels gurney gets 10+ stars. Thanks once again for a fabulous stay. Will see you again next year.

The staff especially Yusuf and Nesh. The hotel room is huge and comfortable, bathtub with seaview, separate rain shower and toilet with bidet. Hotel facilities - gym and swimming pools. Very good breakfast spread and buffet dinner. Location - Gurney Plaza is just steps away... fantastic!

Nice pool with water bean bags to float on! Good breakfast with lots of variety. Clean, spacious room. As part of our booking we had access to the executive lounge where we had complimentary cocktails and canapes every evening from 6-8pm.

I stayed at Eastin Hotel Penang for the last 2 nights of my solo trip, and it was a great choice. The hotel is only about 10 minutes from the airport, which made my early flight stress-free. It’s also right next to Queensbay Mall, so I could walk over for food, shopping, and just to kill time without needing a Grab. I booked the Deluxe Suite, and it really exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, spacious, and had a transparent bathtub that opened up to the bedroom—super unique! There was also a living area with a mini bathroom, snacks, and a proper working space, which came in handy. I especially appreciated the access to the Executive Lounge. It was quiet, comfortable, and offered drinks and light bites throughout the day—perfect for taking breaks or catching up on some work. Breakfast buffet had plenty of variety—from local Malaysian dishes to continental options. The hotel also has a 24-hour gym, spa, sauna, and an outdoor pool, though I didn’t get to try all of them. Overall, this hotel feels more like a business hotel, but as a solo traveler, I found it very safe, quiet, and convenient. Would definitely recommend if you’re catching a flight or want to stay slightly outside the city center.

This hotel is excellently situated around the corner from a great expat bar with great food. Actually, there is great food everywhere. The staff were always friendly and attentive. As with any big hotel, there are problems that crop up like an internet router going down, but the staff were quick to resolve them. The rooms (I dont consider dungeons without windows rooms) were sound proofed and always kept clean by the cleaning staff. The beds were comfy, and the shower pressure brilliant. For a three star hotel, you get a big bang for your buck! I originally booked a week and stayed three!

Compact room but due to king bed so I didn't mind at all as rooms only to sleep. Hotel & room were clean, staff were very helpful and accommodating. I was able to easily walk to the sights around Georgetown & hopped in grab for those further out. Little noisy at night with music from somewhere outside but our didn't continue to late.

the property is at the centre of the town. most of famous attractions are just in walking distance. we arrived early and asked the staff to left our luggage first so we can go take a walk around before our check in time but instead being offered for early check in (due to room availability). thank u for your team.

I like how supportive the staff is. We arrived early that time, the policy says we only can checkin at 3pm, but we able to check in 2 hour early. Even if we need to wait, the lobby also quite spacious and comfy to lepak there while waiting for the room to be ready.

It is a new hotel, the rooms decorationg was really modern. the room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and nice. Location is not amazing, but not bad either. We used grab a lot which got us to our destination for a few ringgit.

Didn't feel too well so spent quite some time in the room. Very quiet, able to sleep in the day as well as in the night. We arrived very early at 10 am and were able to checkin straight away, which was a great surprise as we were up early and very tired. Bed very comfortable, loved the rainshower, good airconditioner which isn't directly focussed on the bed which is nice. Location near lots of food places and everything very walkable. No window but actually liked it because less noisy :)

Cz the hotel is at the small hallway, i like they got their own parking lot where can fit like 10 cars. Just to collect card at the recept. Went to Penang with my little Family. Tried to find Affordable accomodations in the area and decided to stay with Mclane Boutique hotel. We were greeted by Nick at the reception. He was friendly with great customer service. The check in was smooth . The room was spacious. Upon checked out the next day, Nick and Andrew were at the reception to bid us a fond farewell . Everything about the room is really awesome Big room with good pressure of shower and it was very clean and spacious. No pressure on car parking too as there were plenty of it. Check-ins are easy(please ready 100 bucks cash for security purpose)

Upper floor the bed spring not so good, can improve on that. Parking is a headache, but we got "parking angel", still able to get parking lot easily. Walking distance 1min to my fav nyonya restaurant, opposite having mee mamak. Walking distance about less than 10mins to pulau tikus pasar and kopitiam , walk a bit more further is the famous Thai temple and Burmese temple. I like that they provide list of tourist places, famous restaurants and top 10 cafe, written clearly of walking minutes and distance. Very thoughtful.

Ya Allah, I think this is one of the best stays I have had. The staff was really friendly. Besides that, the halal food is easy to get which is just beside the hotel and also near to Rafees Nasi Kandar the popular nasi kandar (walk distance only about 500m It's a really comfortable and clean toilet, clean bed, everything is perfect. The water cooler is close to my room

What did i like ?? All of it. I just think it lack of 1 thing. Which is didnt have a lift. BUT its okay its not a big deal But i think it would be best if you guys make a flat way for us to drag our luggage up. So we dont have to carry it so heavy and through thr stairs heheheh

Was worried about the bedbugs actually when i read the google review, but I worried for nothing. My one night stay was so comfortable and peaceful. The room can fit for 5 people (went with my parents and 2 sisters). Aircond and ceiling fans were functional, and there’s one standing fans at the loft. The toilet also very clean.

Everything about it. What makes this place lovely aside from the ambience is the friendly nature of the owners. The really well kept, clean, and tidy. The owners have done a great job. Loved the colonial style architecture inside and outside. Will definitely come back again to experience a nice room in the middle of Georgetown. Beautiful.

Location is great - very close to roti canai transfer road (5 mins walk) & Teo chew cendol (10 mins walk). We had the 2 bedroom suite that fits for 5 ppl. Spacious - 1 bedroom has 1 queen and single bed. Another bedroom has 1 double bed. Each room comes with wall mounted tv. Living room has a sofa for 3 ppl, dining table and a mini kitchen (mini fridge, cabinet, kettle & sink). Free parking is available inside the Livingston tower (this hotel is inside the tower). Staff are helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Penang the next time.

During the stay, very responsive to the issues such as carpark and item replenishment. Very easy to get a parking as they have own parking lot. The parking is free of charge, just approached the staff for the payment will do. The room is quite acceptable as well. Quite comfy. Tv doesn’t really good😂 bring own laptop or hdmi cable for own shows😂

This is my 4th time staying at this hotel. This time we booked the 3-bedroom apartment. It was so spacious. Every room has its own bathroom, which was really convenient when traveling with a large group/family. The living room was also spacious. My family members were so happy during their stay because the location is very strategic and very near to lots of famous restaurants in Georgetown.

We took the 3-bedroom suite and it was super comfortable for 6 of us. The place was clean and the hotel is strategically located to all the highlights in Georgetown. The foods in the cafe downstairs were scrumptious. However our room was not ready for almost an hour from the check-in time. Nevertheless it was a pleasant stay! :)

Room is huge and clean. Aircond is cold. Bathroom clean. They provide iron and ironing board but need to take at the receptionist counter. For thise bring small kids. This room definately good cause have toy and baby coat provide by the hotel.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed are comfy. There were kids playground for this type of room.

Parking Parking Parking. The facilities that you MUST have while staying in Penang. And you got extra when the room is most significant, the water pressure is good, and the staff is friendly.

It was clean and you were able to demand cleaning services for your room everyday. The staff was very nice and you got everything you needed for a great price.

All good. Location is good! Best of all there's private parking..must have for Penang. Room size is big for Penang too

Here you will find old school hospitality which is rare to find these days. A major shout out to the team- you all are awesome! ❤️🏮 I stayed in the Jackroof Annex and thought the room was very well appointed and super clean. The rooms have everything you need - filtered glass water bottles (you can get more from the bar as needed), coffee/tea and hot water kettle, hair dryer, quality toiletry products, bathrobes, strong A/C. The decor is gorgeous & complements the architectural style of George Town. Another major plus is the location. It’s near the end of Love Lane so you don’t get the noise from the bars; it is peaceful at night. I highly recommend 23 Love Lane and hope to return!

ALL. This hotel is so beautiful, from the main lobby which is like a living room in a big house, the room, the garden, and the common area. It also has a cozy library upstairs which I love so much. My room was spacious, with complete amenities and it smelled so good when I arrived. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The staff was also amazing, they really made me feel at home. Amer the manager was so nice and caring, he explained a lot about the house, the surrounding, and suggested some nice places to eat and visit. The breakfast was simple but nice, the chef was so kind and friendly which made me feel like eating at home. I completely recommend this hotel bc this beautiful heritage hotel is something you really can’t miss when you visit Georgetown.

This is a fabulous small hotel with a real distinctive atmosphere. All the rooms are decorated with vintage furniture and modern artwork, the building is an old Indian house with patio and garden. The rooms are very large, there again furnished with vintage pieces, and very well equipped. The icing on the cake is the friendliness of the staff: we were welcomed by Anna, who remembers all the guests names and is a formidable host. I should not forget the great breakfast in the adjoining restaurant room (same attention to details in the decoration) with cooked plates and fresh fruit. The location is perfect, just off the main sites and animated streets. Don't miss out on 23 Love Lane Hotel to go back with long lasting memories of your stay in Penang!

A very friendly and most helpful staff greeted me on the day of my arrival and made my stay unforgettable! The room was furnished in the typical colonial style - with some original old antiques; The infrastructure (bath, shower, AC, van, WLAN, lights, mosquito repellent) were all perfectly clean and/or worked seamlessly The garden and "lobby" area is inviting you to have 5 o'clock tea or have an afternoon nap in one of the hold chairs. The attached steak-house provides the best filet in town -> including great fries and a fantastic sauce. If you are looking for the typical British colonial experience THIS is the place to be. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Super close to bars and hawker stalls. There is tea in the afternoon with snacks which were amazing. The staff was so nice. You keep your room key at the front desk. My friend and I came back super late one night and they waited for us all night to give us the key and lock up after we left. Two 20 something girls approved. The included breakfast was amazing. Cafe next door served you and the staff remembered our orders. It was so comfortable
