We had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hyatt Athens. Our room was spotless and very modern and well appointed. We had an internal facing room which was very quiet at night, and we enjoyed the balcony and the small plunge pool on the balcony was fun to have. The roof pools were fabulous. Even though it was cool, we enjoyed a swim in both roof top pools. As I always ask... The pool stays open until Oct 31st and then is closed for winter. The server and bar tender on the roof pool were engaging and attentive. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast at the hotel, also on the enclosed roof area and had a fantastic dinner there as well. Service at the dinner was also perfect. The hotel also has a shuttle to the main tourist centre of Athens that runs about once per hour. We didn't use it, but that's a thoughtful service to provide. Some reviews mention the problem with the elevators. They were a little slow, but we really had no issue with waiting 2 minutes. The hotel for us was fantastic. I will definitely stay here again.

Having read some of the reviews I was unsure what to expect, but after a 4 night stay i’d say the experience overall was very positive. The pool areas and breakfast with a view were standout features, with the modern gym and air-conditioning functionality (down to 16 degrees) also exceeding expectations. Our room was always clean and the cleaning staff were friendly, providing firmer pillows when asked. In terms of how the hotel could improve (and made the review 5 star), a few suggestions: - Swimming pool opening hours- bizzare that one of the pools does not open until 11:00. - Poolside food offer- I found the pricing extortionate. I did not want to pay €30 for a poolside snack so ordered chicken nuggets off the childrens menu at €16- these were VERY poor quality. - Our Acropolis view room did not have any balcony furniture- I cannot fathom why they would deprive guests of this. Rooms facing the pool had tables and chairs. These improvements are all within the hotels gift. Some things that the hotel cannot control but people should be aware of are: - The hotel is on a 6/8 lane main road which is noisy 24/7. We were on the 2nd floor and wished we were on a higher one, away from the noise. - Its a strange part of town, I wouldn’t call it “seedy” but from our balcony we could see 3 strip clubs over the road. Finally, if you are arriving late or just want to eat very locally, Masina which is 200m down the road and open late is very good and excellent value.

Recently, we stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Athens. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Pros: Attentive staff at check-in and check-out, clean and comfortable standard rooms, lovely pools (indoors and out), excellent views of the Acropolis and Parthenon- especially from the top floor pool and restaurant, and easy access for taxis or bus services. Cons: Use of scented products which I could not use. Housekeeping only provided scented bath products. Next, a private party at the pool was very loud and we were not close to the pool but clearly heard announcements and the music well past 11pm. (And our television was on). Also, options for grab and go food and drink were very limited. (The pool had food but a bit pricey for items such as fries and chicken nuggets) Sadly, the biggest con is location. It is easy to get to the center city area and airport, but the neighborhood is so-so. Some nice restaurants and a few markets. But I would not walk the area alone or after sunset. I would stay again and recommend to others.

We loved the hotel. We requested a calm room (if possible), and we got a nice room with a balcony and a view of the inner courtyard/pool (normally we’d prefer a city view but in this case we were really happy with the room/view - and how calm it was, considering the hotel is by a busy road). The breakfast was great, with a lot of options available and although it would get busy it didn’t feel packed and we didn’t experience any major shortages of food during busy hours. And the highlight was of course the rooftop pool - we loved the pool with the view of Acropolis! I just wish there were more umbrellas by the pool. Otherwise, staff was very nice and polite. It was also a nice surprise that there was a shuttle bus to the centre of Athens - the hotel is over 2km away, which we didn’t mind as the city centre gets way too crowded for us.

We had amazing time. Very friendly and kind staff, especially the manager. Very good breakfast and fantastic private pool. Would recommend to everybody to stay at this hotel and enjoy in their very nice rooms. We will for sure come back, when we visit Athens again.

The hotel is outstanding .. the location is perfect, no need for a taxi .. everything is close. Basilios, the manager of the place.. was very kind. he upgraded our rooms from a standard room to the most beautiful room in the hotel with a pool and we also received a significant discount.. the children enjoyed the pool very much Thamdara also helped us a lot. We will definitely go back there again

A brilliant apartment. Very clean, modern, spacious. Lovely bathroom facilities and a nice shower. Comfy bed. The private pool on the balcony was fabulous to have, to go back to the room and have a bit of relaxation amongst city site seeing. Host was very helpful and sent us a lot of recommendations of places to eat and visit.

Simply amazing! Our "Pool" room was incredible. Comfortable bed. Pool was great, private and secluded. Kitchenette was very handy and Kostinos was awesome!

We got the room with the pool, and this was the highlight of the stay. Konstantinos is a very helpful host and made sure everything was perfect. We loved the room, spacious, modern, well decorated, and very clean. The place is not too far from the main attractions, a 15min walk was enough to get to the main area of Athens where you can find all the restaurants, museums and etc.

Our room was comfortable, clean and the plunge pool was very nice. The location is great, and very close to the metro station. The staff was very kind and communicative, helping us with whatever we needed.

This place combines the best aspects of a hotel and self-catering accomodation. On the one hand you have a good-sized space and a decent kitchen for preparing food, on the other you have daily cleaning and replenishing of basic supplies. The bed is extremely comfortable and the air conditioning is extremely quiet. Add in the rooftop plunge pool (for those that don’t know, it’s basically a big outdoor bath - can be hot or cold), and the great views over Athens and you end up with a fantastic stay in a beautiful city. And Konstantina couldn’t have been more helpful.

Our apartment (Hub offers 4 or 5 unique layouts all on 5th floor) modern, smart decor, private sun-facing spacious terrace + plunge pool of hot (we stayed March & read books while bathing) or cold water, outdoor table & chairs. Central location. Fix station. Taxi rank 15 paces! Many nearby eateries shops sights. Konstantina host excellent info. Staff very polite. Comfy king bed.

Stayed in the suite with plunge pool. Really great size room for 3 adults, comfortable third bed. Nice decor, very quiet, no noise from other guests.

Phenomenal location with a very short walking distance to bars, restaurants and shopping district (just far enough to avoid the noise). I stayed in the room with the pool, which was VERY nice on hot summer days to lounge in. Blackout curtains were perfect. Highly recommended! TIP: Check out 'The Traditional' restaurant on the corner just a few meters from the hotel... great food and service!

This property does not offer breakfast but many good choices are nearby. It is on a pedestrian street in a lively neighborhood and close to many attractions and places to eat. It is not exactly a hotel, they have 10 rooms and after we got our keys, the building is not staffed overnight. We ended up arriving later than anticipated so be sure to contact the staff so they can be there for you. I decided to upgrade to a special room that has a really cool tiny pool on glass deck in the courtyard. I would not have chosen it if I had known it was not a hot tub, since we visited in the fall. I think I just misunderstood from the photo. The whole place has a great modern vibe. Fancy Nespresso coffee! Comfy bed, great shower.

The hotel is situated in a quiet street nearby the center. You will be at 5 minutes walk from Monastiraki and Psyrri area. The Acropolis is at walking distance. the hotel is also very close to Plaka and Ermou shopping street. Our room was quite big and very well decorated. We had the room with the small pool and it has also a balcony with chairs that we enjoyed a lot. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. it was highly appreciated. I will come back again as the place was really nice.

The cabanas are fabulous. The beds are comfortable and all the fittings are to a high standard. Breakfast was great. The main pool is really lovely, and our kids loved the plunge pool. It is a beautiful place.

Amazing place. We loved our time there. The hosts were so kind and recommended a lot of great places in Athens. They also prepared the loveliest welcome drink for us. We loved the plunge pool and the decor of the apartment was cool and comfortable. Air conditioning was silent and effective.

Fabulous location, all main attractions are within easy walking distance as are restaurants and shopping. The apartment was immaculately clean, as was the private plunge pool and so nessasary when in Athens. Great value for money, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Staff couldn't be more helpful with swif communication on local knowledge and responding to booking transfers. The complementary wine and water on arrival was very kind and appreciated. Fabulous 👌

The bungalow with a private pool was absolutely stunning. The breakfast every day was gorgeous and all the staff were very friendly. It was great for visiting restaurants such as Ark, Bungalow 7, Astakos and Charlie DOS. Easy to organise taxis. Everywhere was spotless.

Easily the most relaxed yet service forward resort we have visited. From a comfortable check in experience on a couch rather than standing at a desk, to being driven to our bungalow, every detail is thoughtful and considered. Our bungalow was immaculate with a private pool and courtyard with a fireplace. Communicating with the staff via WhatsApp makes any request or question easily handled in such a timely fashion. The grounds are peaceful, the spa a revelation, and the view cannot be beat. We will be back.

The property is new, different, and exquisite! Our bungalow was probably the nicest and most accommodating room I have ever stayed in! They truly thought of EVERY detail to make the stay enjoyable. I did not want to leave the room! The grounds are also gorgeous. Compared to other O&O resort stays I've had, their service, however, has a lot of room for improvement. Many of the people were wonderful, professional, and what you expect for a One and Only. However, I will give several examples of things you don't expect with a property of this caliber. First, we had room service dinner both nights and asked that the dishes etc. be picked up at 9:30 when they asked us for time. Neither time were they picked up. The food sitting out outside attracted wildlife (which was cool but just not pleasant to wake up to remnants). When we first got there, we went to change in the spa, and, after requesting a ride back to the pool, we had to wait over 20 minutes for a buggy/golf cart. The first morning at breakfast, our coffee did not arrive until after we were done eating (after several requests). The most disappointing service aspect was the pool and beach service. Perhaps they were understaffed. It was VERY hard to get service; waited forever just for menus. The pool service was especially bad. I asked a server if I could order, she basically huffed and said later and never came back. Two different items our drinks took so long that they comped- but we'd rather just get them on time!

Overall it was a little disappointing. Our bungalow was beautiful. However breakfast was below par for this class of hotel. Service was hit and miss. Furniture was dirty and shabby in restaurant and pool area. Too many cats around the restaurant area for our liking. However the Peruvian restaurant Manko was exceptionally good. The gardens and walkways were beautiful. The reception area does not have formal check in desk which we found rather annoying. The cocktail bar made the worst margaritas we’ve ever had. The pools are not heated. So we are 50/50 on whether we will return.

The bed was comfortable, the facilities were clean and beautiful and everything was in great condition. The hot tub was at a comfortable temperature for the hot days, and I had a chance to cool off in it like a plunge pool one night. Air conditioning worked very well, which was a relief during the 100F days! The room looks exactly like the photos. Location was really convenient to Acropolis metro and great restaurants, and to the meeting points for our tours. We were able to use the sofa as an extra bed, too, which was nice since we were friends who didn’t wish to share a bed. We stayed in room A, the one with blue walls in the photos. Highly recommend! Staff was very friendly and helpful with everything, including arrangements for taxis to and from the airport.

Loved the whole experience start to finish. Spent 5 nights here. Superb communication, the hosts sent us info on all nearby bars restaurants etc. Check in and out super easy. Apt is gorgeous, so spaceous, lovely design. As a photographer I was obsessed with some of the feature walls:) cleaniness 10 out of 10. They checked water ph in jacuzzi twice in 5 days always advising when they would be in. Fresh towels and refresh apt twice. Location 10 out of 10 super close to everything. Lastly Prosecco and water in the fridge as a welcome gift was a lovely touch, much appreciated after a long day travelling. It was our first time for a holiday after recovering from a long term illness ans it was PERFECT. Thank you thank you thank you. Ah and also... Nicolaos the taxi driver who picked us up from airport and dropped us off and organised us a car when we couldnt find any on his day off was sooo helpful and lovely giving us great tips too.

Yannis was an amazing host. he welcomed us and our baby, we thought it might be an issue, but it wasn't, they even provided a new crib for us. They left us a little treat in the fridge. The location was 3 blocks or so from the New Acropolis Museum. It was so close to all of the reataraunts, main streets, and attractions. We especially loved the HUGE private balcony with a large bathtub/Jacuzzi on the top floor, with a slight Acropolis view from the corner. We didn't know much about where to go later l'm Santorini, and Yannis helped us book a taxi and told us where we could hold out luggage nearby. The host made the stay so smooth. The room was large and clean, with a nice comfy bed, separate toilet, and an open shower with glass booth in the bedroom. The elevator was small but better than stairs. Air-conditioning worked great.

The location is excellent. It is close to metro, bus and tram stops. It is within walking distance of multiple sights of interest as well as close to restaurants, coffee shops, a small grocer and a pharmacy. The hosts were outstanding. Aside from being very welcoming and accommodating, they also provided their recommendations for restaurants, cafes and bars as well as information on how/when to visit the sights. The jacuzzi was a lovely way to relax after a long day of walking in the heat. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well. The room was also equipped with a small fridge, a nespresso machine (pods were supplied) and other utilities. I would recommend this place to other like-minded travelers who are looking for comfortable, convenient accommodation to facilitate a holiday in athens.

Everything was lovely and we really enjoyed our days in Athens. The apartment was clean and the host came to change our towels too so it is a big plus. We found a nice Prosecco in the fridge and the coffee machine was very useful for the morning coffee. The position is perfect to visit the city because you can go to the main sites just by walk. The Jacuzzi is just something amazing.. we jumped in everyday! The host was very helpful and he booked for us a taxi and send a message with all the info about restaurants, activities and advices.

The olive apartment is a luxurious 4 bedroom penthouse at the top of a beautiful well-secured modern building. We really loved and enjoyed our stay at the olive apartment. We were greeted with amazing house-wanting treats!The apartment is spacious, clean, and great choice for families. There was a one bedroom downstairs, a bathroom, a living room overlooking the pool and a closed spacious kitchen that has a beautiful balcony. The upstairs space has one master room with a bathroom and a walking large closet and two bedroom with sharing bathroom. Bedrooms had tv, and a/c units. The location of the apartment is more secluded quite part of Glyfada yet very close to restaurants, shops and parks! The pool is the perfect size for kids, and family to enjoy with great privacy! The pool has heater that can be switched on upon request. The property manager is very attentive and very responsive before arrival and during our stay. We were lucky enough to get a free house keeping service during our stay.

The decor and layout of the apartment were wonderful. The host had left us lovely amenities and the kitchen was fully stocked. A huge basket of delicious fruit, juices and water were in the refrigerator. The pool was fantastic. It was light and bright and a perfect location.

Property was fantastic. Very clean and everything you need for a ‘home from home’. The pool is great! Really big and ideal for kids as has several levels to help when getting in. Within walking distance to coast, lots of shops, bars restaurants etc.

You know this feeling, when you book a furnished and equipped place and yet, it’s not like home? Something missing, this eternal impersonality of rented apartments… Here you feel home from the very moment you open the door and enter. It smells home, cozy, tidy, impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed and tastefully decorated, it was probably equipped by a Mom of a big, wealthy and greekly hedonistic family. I started to pull the kitchen drawers to find 2 kinds of juicer, 3 kinds of coffee machines, a FULL set of dishes and numerous little things you take time to collect when settling down in a new home. Beds are comfy, bed linen is crispy, fragrant and new, as everything else. 2 bathrooms, that’s important. The location is optimal, the place is silent, the terrace is big enough and doesn’t lack privacy, despite the low floor, thanks to the exuberant vegetation and respectful neighbors. Last, but not least - super profesional and welcoming management by Dimitra.

Dimitris was very welcoming and had a bottle of wine and snacks wait for us. We arrived supper early, he arranged transportation and let us hang out while they get the place ready for us. Dimitris was gracious enough to give us a map of things to do and great restaurants. The place has breathtaking views and an amazing private pool. The art decor was sophisticated and felt like home.

We were met by both the property owner and manager who showed us around the property and gave us detailed information about how to make the most of our stay. Recommendations on taxi apps, areas of Athens, restaurants and trips were really appreciated. The owner is an extremely interesting man who told us stories and historical facts about Greece, which added to our trip. The home is beautifully and authentically decorated and the pool is sublime. Approx. 7 Euros into the centre of Athens using a taxi.

The roof terrace with the pool was a highlight of our stay in Athens with the children looking forward to using it before going out and to cool off after sight seeing. We had a warm and informative welcome and assisted with taxis from the airport and to the ferry port. great location by the park, ideal for sunset. Clean and very safe area.

Great property, solid location at the foot of Lycabettus Hill. Our host, the owner, met us and walked us through his home. The rooftop pool was our main reason for booking this property and it was a joy to use for us and the kids for many hours, with an incredible view of Athens.

The rooftop pool was the highlight . It had amazing views over the city. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and well positioned for the underground into the city. Dimitris was very accommodating and helpful concerning transfers and always available to give us advice regarding our stay.

We enjoyed every moment, the property is huge, 4 floors with pool, playstation, snooker, great kitchen and elevator. We stayed there 8 people that every couple got a great room. Guita and her family were great hosts and answered all our questions and requests. Highlly recomended!

Everything! From the spotlessly clean bathrooms (stocked with high quality amenities) to the spacious and tastefully decorated rooms. Everything looks at least as good as in the pictures and I can’t recommend this place enough. We hope to be back soon! A big thank you to our wonderful host!

Amazing host made it super easy. We went for quality family time with kids and it was beautiful house perfect to hang out in, near shops, quick drive to the beach, 25 min drive to center of Athens.

Hello, The villa is exactly the same as shown in the picture, it's clean and well maintained. The swimming pool and the garden are also clean and enough big for a family or a couple of friends. We enjoyed spending time in this area. Lina and Nikos are very nice people they were available for every need related to our journey(vehicle rental, restaurants, activities...). Thanks to them we enjoyed our journey and spent a beautiful time in Salamina !

Very clean space, with great amenities and comfortable rooms. The host was very polite and helpful during check in and check out. Furthermore, we were allowed to have music loud during the non-quiet hours for our bachelorette, something not many hosts provide.

We booked a few months in advance and this is one of the cheapest options in Athens that is a actually good. I would recommend for people doing a brief stay in athens. Staff were friendly and it is 24/7 reception. They are happy to hold your luggage if you arrive early or leave late. Breakfast is open for a good amount of time, with a variety of options. It is not the most amazing gourmet breakfast but it is appropriate. Location wise, the touristy part of Athens is quite small, at the base of the acropolis. This is within a few minutes walk of some nice streets and you are soon within the main touristy area. This is within walking distance of monastiraki station where the metro will take you to and from the airport within 40 minutes

This hotel is very nice. The reception people are always smiling and helping and friendly. The room was very clean and they cleaned the room every day without we asking. They prepared for us fast breakfast because we leaved the hotel at 3 am. The hotel is very near to everywhere. We just walk little bit to arrive to the centre and to restaurants and the museums. If someone want enjoy Athens and don’t west a lot of money this hotel is the best choice.

The staff is extremely nice, the room is clean and not too small, the equipment is fine (good AC, hairdryer, safe box, bathroom with towels and soap, Wifi, TV). It is only 5 to 7 mns from the Varkavios Central Market with a lot of restaurants, meze, coffes and bars. Also 5 to 7 mns walk to the closest train Station Omonia, and then straight to the Acropolis by train in 7 mn. As a woman travelling alone, I felt secure.

Very good location, near to metro stations and Plaka district. Clean and well equipped, perfect for shorter stay, the breakfast is delicious (cold and hot dishes), beautiful view from the roof to the Acropolis! The staff is very kind and helpful. I ordered a bottle of wine to the room as a suprise for my friend upon arrival, the organisation was perfect!! Thank you again for you help, especially Dimitris!!!

The room was spacious for the price. There were still lots of furniture and spaces for cases etc. We appreciated the air conditioner and the inclusion for a small fridge. Water was available at reception for a small price. Cleaning was excellent and discrete. Staff were helpful and really friendly. The location was near the tourist area and dinning.

Huge room with great air conditioning. Cannot fault the hotel itself at all. However, we were returning from an island before flying out from Athens the following afternoon, so I decided to book a hotel within easy walking distance of the port. It turns out that the port is HUGE and pretty complicated to navigate, so we ended up just calling an Uber to get an easy drive, rather than having to handle suitcases, cranky travellers and the heat. Once we were in the Uber, I wish we'd just taken it all the way into Athens directly that night. As it was, I felt like we kind of wasted a night in Piraeus, plus we had to Uber into Athens the next morning anyway and then find somewhere to store our luggage. So it's a great hotel, but look carefully at where you'll be in the port to figure out actual walking distances and if it might actually be better to just stay in Athens.

Location was the reason I chose this property very close to E9 for Ferry the following day. The front front desk staff were amazing and Anastasia was very helpful for a great recommendations for places to eat. We also got lost very nearby and found a fabulous restaurant called Shakespeare in love that I would highly recommend the breakfast provided was very extensive and the staff were amazing. Everyone was so helpful and happy very positive experience can’t say enough good things about this place. I will go there again for sure next year.

This was the second time we stayed, and we would certainly stay again. The hotel's location is excellent - an easy walk to both the port and to the main road in Piraeus. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance plus the metro and bus stops for central Athens. The hotel itself is in a quiet side street. The staff were lovely, the breakfast good, and if you book accordingly you can have a room with a balcony that has an interesting oblique view.

Fabulous experience would definitely stay there again. The front desk staff was super helpful. They went out of your way to help you with your bags give you advice of where to eat. The housekeeping staff helped with our bags. I can’t stress enough how they went out of your way to make your stay easy would definitely stay there again. The breakfast provided was buffet style and had numerous choices no complaints whatsoever.

The location for us was perfect as it was near the port. We stayed here before catching the ferry and on our return. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They allowed us to store excess luggage while we were on the islands. It is also close to bars, restaurants and shops. The room was modern and adequate for an overnight stay with a family of four.

We did alot of research and are so happy we stayed here at the evripides hotel, it is a haven of peace and comfort in a big busy city, the location is perfect for walking all around athens, athens is actually not a big city and everything you want to see is an easy walk. The building is practical and functional with a terrific lobby , toilets and safe luggage storage before checkin, the staff are all amazing people, generous, happy, professional , flexible, really genuine greek lovely people thank you to them all at reception and the breakfast team and also to the hard working housekeeping ladies, the room was spotless clean and well equipped. we booked an acropolis room view on the 6th floor huge balcony and totally recommended for the best views in town especially in the early morning watching the lights and having a cup of tea. we loved the design of the rooms modern, functional, spacious, bed amazing and linen good quality. Typical traditional greek breakfast boiled eggs/ beautiful fresh bread/ biggest tomatoes you have ever seen , cheeses, juice et olives and hommous.thank you to the hotel staff for making our stay in Athens memorable

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Newly renovated, fresh and clean rooms, two pillows each and everything we needed. Very quiet, zero noise from the neighbours or the street (we travelled in early November). The beds were wide and comfortable, the TV was a smart TV with Netflix and other apps. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and answered all our questions about our other travel plans. The street is not a tourist street, but very close to both Monastiraki and Thiseo stations (easy to get to from the airport or go to Pireus). The highlight was the breakfast room and the roof terrace with the best Acropolis and city view ever! We loved to go up there after breakfast to drink coffee and read. The breakfast was simple but of a very good quality. Later during this trip we stayed at a 3-star hotel, but Evripides was so much better.

This is a great hotel in the Psyri area of Athens which has a nice village feel even though it's bustling and right in the middle of the city only a 20.minute walk from the Acropolis and 10 minutes from Monistiraki Square. The room was spacious and clean with proper wardrobe and very good Aircon. Bed was king-size and very comfortable Breakfast was great with lots of choice and excellent views across to the Acropolis Of an evening it doubles as a bar and it was great to sit on the roof terrace with a glass of wine Staff were very friendly and helpful and were on reception 24 hrs. There are loads of great bars and tavernas on the doorstep and live music in the square It's easy to get to with a train from the airport to Monistiraki station then a 10 minute walk

We loved everything about this hotel. It's really conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Monastiraki metro station which is perfect for getting to Piraeus to catch a ferry, or for getting to the airport. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived and were very impressed with the quality of our room. The shower was fantastic and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in - huge and with wonderful bed linen. We found the staff at the bar there very friendly and enjoyed the fact that we could take drinks up to their rooftop terrace to enjoy the views of the Acropolis, the city, and the mountains in the distance. The buffer breakfast was very high quality with a good selection and - important for us - plentiful fresh coffee! We would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The hotel room was nicely renovated, modern, clean, spacious, good mattress, quiet a/c - small balcony, sun/light blocking curtains. The staff are lovely, breakfast on level 7 has view of acropolis, plenty of space, good spread of food, fruits,breads, toaster, cheeses, meats, cereal etc it’s fresh and topped up. Staff there are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The location seems seedy but as a solo woman no issues at all, I liked the location able to walk everywhere or hotel call a taxi and relay location in Greek. Large a/c sitting area on ground floor. I have stayed in at least 10 hotels in last 3 months in this budget range and I didn’t want to leave here. Stayed 5 nights.

Staff were all pleasant, smiling, helpful and courteous. From the front desk to the cleaning staff and in the dining room I wanted to re book but there was no availability. They ensured I felt welcome and special for my birthday. Please continue to be above the rest! Word of mouth is the best way to spread great hospitality! Thank you all!

Second time we stayed at the hotel because we really enjoyed our first stay. I was unwell and even though we arrived 9 in the morning, the reception staff did their best to check us in early so I could lie down. They are so friendly and hospital, location is perfect. I would recommend it to anyone. Enjoy!

The breakfast was very basic but passable. Location very good and as safe as you can be in a big city . Handy for everything. Loved the bar manager ( Irene ) she was extremely present . Great bar food ! Reception staff ( peter and others ) very nice sorted luggage and a taxi to airport . All Would stay again . Thanks

The breakfast was wonderful. An abundance of choices to choose from toast, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausages, coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, fruit and the list goes on. Staff kept everything clean considering there were a lot of people when we were there. All the staff that assisted us were absolutely gorgeous and extremely helpful.

Firstly the staff at the reception were very friendly, kind and helpful, secondly the room was immaculate and finely the breakfast was so good everything for breakfast was there I just loved it. The property was located a short walk from Omonioa Square which is where the trains and buses are. Taxi service easy to find or the Concierge was happy to make any reservations for you. The friendly staff was 24/7 with a security officer who greeted you at the building. The hotel had a great breakfast buffet in the morning, so many hot and cold choices, sweets and many fresh juices! The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but functional. The roof top bar offered a nice indoor or outdoor dining/bar option with a really nice view of the Acropolis!! I would stay here again.

We stayed here for a weekend trip (family with 2 adults / 2 kids). Location was close enough to walk to Acropolis and other sites (there is a metro station nearby but we preferred to walk). Breakfast was also delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. We could leave our bags after checkout until the flight time which was helpful. Hotel was going through renovation in some floors, with some noise early in the morning, but we just noted after waking up. Price was reasonable considering a room for 4. We only used the hotel to sleep, so can't comment on other items. Overall, great hotel, would certainly stay again.

The staff was very friendly. The manager William really went out of his way to accommodate us in dealing with our luggage, enabling us to store it for no cost while we went up to Thessaloniki for 4 days. The roof top restauant with a clear view of the Acropolis was exceptional. The location was near the metro and there are lots of taxis available. Their breakfast was great. Lots of choices, lots of fresh fruit, etc.

The hotel was spotless, in a great location, and the staff were all so warm and welcoming. A special shout-out to Frank – what a wonderful and genuinely helpful guy. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Looking forward to returning on our next visit to Athens!

Everything was brilliant about this hotel. Its location is just a few minutes' walk from the centre of the city. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The restaurant on the top floor was very good, with an outside terrace and superb views of the Acropolis. The breakfast was exceptional: lots of choice and all very good quality. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had.

It was really a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The staff is amazing,we got every help and information we needed. I stayed with my Mom at the basic small room,the windows faced the patio and it was quiet,no adjacent bars or restaurants so it wasn’t noisy even though it was near the elevator. The restaurant at the roof top is really nice,not cheap comparing some places at the centre but it was convenient and worthwhile because of the service and tasty food. The pool is great ! Really good choice for summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Both the facilities and the staff exceeded our expectations. Initially, it was a bit challenging to find our way around, but we quickly got the hang of it. We asked for a couple of restaurant recommendations, and both of them turned out to be great choices. The breakfast offered plenty of choices and fresh juices, and it was nice to have a drink at the restaurant in the afternoon after a day of sightseeing. The pool was large enough for swimming laps every day.

The location of Coco Mat was in an excellent, smart area of Athens from which it was easy to walk to all the main sites or use the metro. All the staff were courteous and welcoming. This was seen so well in the restaurant! The choice at the buffet breakfast was superb in variety and quality. It was so easy to use the pool after spending time exploring - a very calm oasis.

We were extremely happy with our 3 day stay here. Super friendly and chill staff, nice boutique hotel vibe, great location in one of the nicest areas of Athens, nice pool for swimming in the morning or evening in between of exploration, great massage and good breakfast in a nice calm area. Would highly recommend (already have) and stay again. Thank you!

Very friendly staff, good breakfast in a lovely setting. Enjoyed the small pool and steam room. Spotlessly clean, beautifully presented hotel, comfortable room. Great location, easy access to Metro for airport and walking distance to main sights. Recommend visiting the Cycladic Museum just over the road, which also has a beautiful cafe for lunch.

We had a one night stay after a cruise. Dropped our luggage at 9 AM and spent the day sightseeing around Piraeus. Staff at the hotel was helpful and friendly, it was a great restaurant on site and the breakfast in the morning is OK. Room was nice and clean. There is a rooftop pool and some sun beds. Pool is clean, but kept cool as it is very hot in Athens the summer months. Overall, I was happy with the brand of the hotel and would stay at their locations in the future.

The rooms were clean and the staff very helpful. We had supper in the restaurant and it was delicious. The weather was hot and we appreciated having a pool on the roof. It has a great view from the pool deck. A good place to stay when taking any boat trips from Piraeus.

We stayed in room 901 The Presidential Suite which is a large size apartment really, we found it to be thoroughly clean comfortable and spacious offering a large bathroom with a bath to match and a separate shower room, a king size bed and a very generous living space to enjoy not to mention a long balcony with superb views of the harbour and city with also great space a further floor up on the roof which includes a swimming pool and loungers. This apartment is handy for the cruise terminals and is value given the facilities offered. The chap at reception recommended a local taverna only a 1 minute walk away which we enjoyed thoroughly.

Very nice hotel with large rooms and comfortable beds. Staff are very friendly and professional. Hotel is within walking distance to shopping and restaurant area and only ten minutes in a cab to the cruise terminal. The only negative would be that the hotel needs to update its plugs to include USB ability as when people are traveling we don’t always have adaptors which makes charging devices difficult. The rooftop pool area is very small with minimal chairs but nice and quiet and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a large selection of food.

I rated this hotel 5*s, not because it’s a 5 star hotel but for the price it is 5* value. We were going on a cruise the following day and this was a great location close to the port, and close to some local Gyros. They also held our bags while we filled in time before boarding our ship. We did not use the pool.
