Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Puerto Rico

Very nice hotel. Beautiful view and very nice large pool. Excellent customer service especially at the restaurant. Should have a little bar for drinks in pool area but other than that it’s excellent

This hotel is located on a hill overlooking the ocean on the west side of the city. We liked the view and the setting. Our room was recently renovated with attractive furnishings. It could use a bit more lighting, but it was nice. The pool was closed for renovations, but there's a sweeping view of the coast from the pool area and it should be great when it is updated and reopens. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was perfectly acceptable. This is a good mid price hotel and a solid choice in Ponce.

We picked this hotel hoping it would be pleasing for my wife and I as we spend a long weekend away from New England. This Holiday Inn has met our expectations! Staff is friendly to a person, and accommodating. Our room is top floor, poolside. We have an enchanting view of the Caribbean, even though to actually put our feet in the water requires a 15 minute drive to a clean, scenic City Beach. There is construction taking place, though our king room is fully remodeled and comfortable - what we expect from a Holiday Inn. The casino is cute and not very crowded The food situation appears to be in a state of flux. We are offered free breakfast in what looks to be temporary quarters. It is adequate. We had dinner in-house one evening in the same temporary setting. Low on ambience, but our meals were surprisingly delicious! This property is located atop a hill within walking distance of nothing. If you're a runner be prepared for a fairly steep hill. We are fine with needing a vehicle to enjoy our stay.

Clean room and bed sheets, comfortable bed, nice amenities, house keeping visited everyday. Bathroom floor tile and tub had stains but you could tell it was still thoroughly cleaned. This hotel is very old so I attributed the stains to normal use. Maybe after the reno all rooms will have new tubs and floors. Something I noticed is that the room would smell slightly musty if the a/c was 70 or higher. As mentioned, the Hotel is going through renovations so by 9:30-10am you will hear the construction if you stay during week days. The hotel itself has everything: casino, restaurant/bar, and a pool. We did not visit these amenities but the rest of the guests seem to enjoy them. This is a complete and enjoyable property that I recommend 100%.

Great check in experience, but it’s super remote and not walkable. You will need a car. We only stayed one night as it was the only available hotel in the area. Pool didn’t seem to be heated and was a bit cold. Breakfast was meh. They had people sitting in one of the conference room and main dining area wasn’t open for sole reason… But if we are in the area again, we would definitely stay there.

This is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. If you are looking for something different, remote and relaxing, Finca Victoria is a great choice. You really feel like you are staying in a treehouse, especially with the sounds of the frogs and the cool breeze at night. From the top of the hill, there is very little light pollution - making it a great spot for stargazing. Also, the freshwater pool was one of the nicest I have ever swam in -very refreshing after a day in the salty Carribbean. FYI - Coffee and breakfast are provided, but if you want milk or any other dairy, you must bring it yourself. The rooms have refirgerators, so it will keep. They also provide plates and silverware, beach towels and a small soft cooler. Anyway - highly recommend this spot. It is very clean, unique and relaxing.

Finca Victoria is a GORGEOUS property and the pictures accurately reflect what you’ll receive. The room was cozy, had a beach kit and necessary basics in the kitchenette. The outdoor shower was kind of surreal and loved every second of it! The check in process was a little clunky. He (not the manager but some other worker not listed on the website) put us in the wrong room, then offered a glass of cava on the house as a sorry and then disappeared.. Wasn’t a huge deal but a little distasteful. Breakfast was delicious, but was late every day. It lists from 9:30-11am but did not ever come out before 10am. In my opinion, 9:30am is already really late for breakfast, and the delay didn’t sit well with any of the guests sitting at the table. I understand it’s a wellness center but when you’re trying to maximize every part of your day, any delay is inconvenient. However the checkout process was great. We checked out but were allowed to store our luggage’s, we were offered a beach kit and we were allowed to shower in the communal showers until we had to leave. Overall, I’d give the location 10/10 but the service and hospitality 8/10. Would certainly recommend and stay again!

I have never met nicer people in my entire life on site. Huge yogi feel, very calm, very nice, extremely unique setting. I have never stayed somewhere so unique in my life. Everything was reusable, resourceful, clean, and environment friendly. My room was adorable!! Super small and quaint, but just right. The food was delicious (I’m not vegan so for me to say this surprised me)! Very attentive and would do whatever they could to accommodate you. I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about this place. Maybe that if a couple wanted to get naughty, they’d have to close the door with the view or draw the blinds because the house across from me could definitely see directly into the bedroom (haha) would get one heck of a view! Good thing I was just with a friend.

Wow! I've been dying to stay here and it did not disappoint. The property itself is beautiful and so well maintained. Feels lush, unique, and bohemian. Like a magical little retreat in the jungle. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious and fully vegan -- the perfect light meal before starting our beach day. The bed was comfortable and the view of the jungle from our room was so dreamy. Plus, the outdoor shower was heavenly. We also traveled with our dog and they had a little bed and food bowls waiting for him. Would definitely stay here again. Also, we rented a golf cart during our stay. Highly recommend you rent some sort of transportation, whether its that or a car.

Absolutely stunning. This wonderful hotel is more like a retreat. The rooms are incredible and extremely unique. Mine had so many ameneties that made it so easy to unwind and relax. They had complimentary coffee, tea, and water at all times. They also offer complimentary yoga every morning to all guests before serving breakfast. I have never felt so relaxed in my life. The staff were incredible and the scenery and ambiance alone is to die for. The food they offer is absolutely delicious also! 10/10 will be back for a very long stay soon! So happy i stumbled upon such an amazing hidden gem.

This was a mixed bag stay, but overall good. Huge room with 2 spacious bedrooms and location were the best parts. We really appreciated the space. Decent kitchen with fridge and stovetop only, but not very stocked with kitchen gear and no basic extras like salt or coffee. Also, some small cockroaches but nothing crazy. We booked an ocean view room, but got a ground floor looking out at the parking lot. The swimming pool by us was not worth the effort and like a bad motel 6 pool. We didn’t try the 2nd pool. Like others stated, do not expect hot water. Almost lukewarm was as good as it got, but the water pressure was good. The location was amazing. Boquerón is a great beach town with many locals vacationing. Lots of restaurants and food carts and beautiful beaches nearby. Also a short drive to La Parquera beach town for another fun day.

I loved staying at this little hotel. It was close to town and easy excess to get around. The only issue is that there was no hotwater and no directions on how to turn it on. It was quiet, the pool was amazing and it had spectaclar views of the ocean. I would highly recommend!

It does the purpose, nice pool, friendly staff wish there were more outlets, especially in the bathroom. I could not blow dry my hair because there was no outlet in the bathroom other than that it worked great for us.

Place great, 2 bedroom was perfect small kitchen, hot water. Pool good. The only problem here is to contacted the front desk by phone. Never answered but soon you there everything when super good. Loved

Staff is very helpful and made checking in and out super easy. Everything was clean and the parking was easy. Pool was great.

This property is a beautiful house with two pools lit up with pretty colors all night and parking for guests. Check in and check-out was fast and simple, Angel was very helpful answering all of our questions. Has an accessible kitchen with a microwave, stove and fridge. Main house has many common places to sit and chat or eat for a while, great place for renting out in a big group. The pools are amazing, especially at night with all the pretty lights and nature all around. The mountaintop is great for sky watching or a morning in with some coffee. There’s this great bakery close by with great breakfast called Atena’s Bakery that’s like 5 minutes away.

There is Hot water, There is no hammock, like displayed in the pictures but the property is beautiful and very private, be aware there is a gaurd dog but he is friendly and will protect you. And there is a beautiful bengal cat that i did not dare go next to inside the house, but you are able to use the house the pool the jetted pool (not a jaccuzzi) the stove outside and in, they only provide you with towels and soap so come prepared. He is very communicative. We actually had the house to ourselves because no one was there which was perfect as well. Its so peaceful the scenery is amazing, i would say the place can be a bit more cleaner upon arrival, and i would have liked other amenties besides towels and a little bar of soap, but overall the property is amazing it is beautiful very homey, makes you feel rich for a reasonable price. I did enjoy my time here P.s ( you definitely need a car, it comes with parking this place is a bit far out but very close to beaches and about 15 minutes away from the Pueblo or foods amd bars)

Everything about the property was as advertised. Really nice. Room and bathroom was big and clean. A/C worked!! Common areas (kitchen, living/dinning room and pool/patio area) were spacious, clean and modern. Property location was nice and private. My only complains are: I got a different room from what I had reserved. I didn't asked to be move or approach management about it. I didn't had time for it. Second there was a Boxer dog in the property. The dog seem to be an older dog and kind of docile but I'm scare of dogs (specially dogs that don't know me) so I didn't like having to deal with that. Mr. Angel Abreu (property owner/ management) was extremely responsive, friendly and very nice to interact with. He even answered a phone call at 4:30am when I called him about the dog. I would definitively recommend this property and even consider to stay again in the future.

It was peacefully quite area.fresh air .the pool needs maintenance.the room was small .the bathroom was ok,the handle to open the shower was broken.. the AC didn’t had a control so I had to climb in a chair to turn it on/off ..other then that it was fun, the kids enjoy it ..

My stay was fantastic. Friendly and helpful personnel. Bed was great and pillows too slept like a baby. Was able to bring everything for microwave cooking and great small fridge. It looks recently remodled. If your on low budget this is the place you want to stay to enjoy and relax and from here u can go anywhere!

Totally worth the drive if flying into SJU! This place became one of our faves out of four trips to Puerto Rico. We loved how our host kept in touch, giving us tons of great local tips on their website. The apartment was huge and comfy, the biggest we've had on this trip. Having a full kitchen and grill was awesome, we cooked some meals and chilled out. Everything we needed for four days was there. The little pool was perfect for cooling off! It's a short drive to gorgeous beaches. Definitely go to Playa La Jungla, but get there early because they start to close at 4:30 and you gotta leave by 5. Then hit Santa Beach to keep the beach fun going! Also, try Umami restaurant near the beach – the food and service were amazing! They open at 5pm on Thursdays. ⛱️ We'd definitely stay at Palmeras Beach Apartments again!

Everything! This house was amazing. We got the one with the pool my girls loved that. It was very clean and just comfortable. Close to private beaches and great little restaurants.

The house is cozy, great to bring the family. It has all the necessary, towels, plates, cups, fridge, pool. We loved the roasters waking us up.

Wonderful experience for the whole family. I stayed at Vista del Mar apartment and the view was breathtaking. The apartment was fully equipped with everything to cook, relax and enjoy the surrounding. We decided to stay at the place the whole day on Sunday just to enjoy the games, sun and good company. local bars and restaurants were friendly and delicious. The suggestions made by owner were also excellent and I recommend to follow. We will definitely comeback very soon and try the bigger apartment that I think it was lake view. I appreciate the host and service team for a marvelous experience!

The Palmeras apartment is in a great location. It has stunning views in all directions of the mountains and down to the beaches. It was a very short walk down to the beach, where there was entertainment and food. The apartment was exactly as the photos show. The upstairs area provided plenty of fun. It was a great space that provided plenty of fun and entertainment for us to host our local family that came to visit. I recommend this place for families, couples, or anyone really.

Everything I liked about this property: beds were very comfortable, AC & elevator worked excellent, vehicle parking & security was provided as well as a pool, room safe & refrigerator. Had English TV channels, a pool w/towels (that you could borrow) & take to the beach that was a walk across the street

Beach was just across the street, many great places to eat within walking distance, pool was clean and welcoming. If needed, they would deliver drinks or food poolside

Never was able to use the pool since always chairs were not enough and were occupied. Sometimes, needed to wait for towels for the beach, since was not able to go to the pool. Prices of food too expensive based on the amount. The parking been charged by separate was not good. However, experience was ok.

Stayed here recently and was really impressed. The hotel was spotless and clearly updated—everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The bar is fully equipped and a great spot to grab a drink before heading out. The pool is small, but clean and comfortable if you’re looking for a quick dip or a place to lounge. The location is tough to beat: right across the street from the beautiful Isla Verde beach and just down the road from El San Juan if you’re looking for nightlife or a casino. Air conditioning in the rooms was cold—in the best way possible after a day in the sun. Staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Best part? It’s surprisingly affordable for the area. A great value stay in a prime location. I’d definitely come back.

The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable- as expected for the price point. Housekeeping services were accommodating and responsive. The bartenders at the gastropub are fabulous and friendly! The best cappuccinos:) All of the front desk employees were professional and accommodating. The pool are was clean and nice for the kids to come back to after the beach. Hotel location is just across the street from beach access- beach is clean and not crowded! Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and stores.

Uber ride from the airport was quick (10 mins $12). Very personable staff at the desk during check-in. (Even tho we arrived really late) Room was spacious and had a luxurious look to it. Housekeeping on point everyday making sure we had towels and etc. lobby was always well maintained. Pool, gym, and laundry room available 24/7. The Bar can be a little busy at times but we had servers assisting us even when we were outside by the pool area with kids. Very enjoyable stay! Close to the beach and not very far from old San Juan. We will definitely stay there again,

I have never stayed here before but definitely would again. It was just lovely. The staff were so friendly. The hotel was immaculate. I loved the bar near the pool and the waterfall and music. The pool was gorgeous to relax in and my friend and I were very happy there and sorry to leave. The local area felt very safe and there were restaurants within easy walking distance. The beach is too. Breakfast had a good variety of food which was tasty. Everything was perfect.

Spent a week here and had a very pleasant visit. In particular the room layouts (stayed w another couple in 2 room suite 1 night and king studio 6 nights), the pool area and the friendliness of the staff were very nice. We picked this hotel partly because of the kitchens and they were great in both rooms. The couches were very comfortable, though the pull-out beds are a bit small. I've read several reviews about the mold smell and honestly barely noticed it. I've been to San Juan many times but never this close to the airport, and honestly the plane noise wasn't that bad/frequent and inside the room barely noticeable. The rooms do show a tiny bit of wear (not necessarily distracting or bad, just surprising because the hotel is so new). The pool area is lovely and because of the design / lack of tall buildings and the L shaped kiddie area, gets a lot of sun, really throughout the day. They ran out of towels a few times but did replenish them if you asked. The only wonky critique I have is the A/C system is on in each room all the time. You can control the temp but not the fan, and when it is cooling down (or warming up) the fan is annoyingly loud. This is the first time I have stayed in San Juan without a balcony/ window to open so that could be part of the problem. Sleeping was fine, though we do wear earplugs. Lastly the beaches (5-6 minute walk) are big, gorgeous, not crowded and in my opinion, nicer than Condado.

This is in a good location for food and near beach. You can use their chairs and umbrellas, towels at beach. The resort fee is ridiculous that you can use at restaurant, but the food and drinks are terrible in both price and quality. We paid $16 for a mojito that was actually a Shirley temple in a very small cup. Rooms were clean but freezing and A/C was not adjustable. Airplane noise was very loud day/night. We got an ocean facing room so it was a bit less noisy. You can find great food all around the hotel for way better pricing and quality. It is a safe area at night. Pool was nice and seating around the pool was easy to get all day.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The kitchenette had a fridge/freezer with ice maker, a cook top, dishwasher, sink and plenty of counter space and storage. There is a good sized closet and some storage nooks, but no drawers. Considering it's a beach resort it would have been nice to have more places to hang up wet clothes, there's only one towel bar and hook in the bathroom. The pool is nice and there's a great splash pad area for kids with lots of spray features separate from the main pool. The hotel has only been open a few years, but noticed a lot of wear and tear in both the public spaces as well as in the room.

The bedroom was a separate room, and the suite had an almost full kitchen (no oven, but a stove, a full fridge/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, toaster, plates and glasses and silverware, even a dishwasher...). It seems like every room at this hotel had a balcony, which was excellent - we enjoyed ours in the mornings and evenings for sure. The building is clearly an older building, and some people would complain about the quality because of that, but not us. When we travel we go out a lot - we don't need a room for much but sleeping. And we don't need a room to be fancy - we just need to feel that we are safe in it when we're sleeping and that our belongings are secure in it when we're out. We don't mind an older building that's still perfectly functioning! In fact, it gives a hotel some charm, instead of it being indistinguishable from every other hotel. Beautiful property right on the beach. It felt like a resort with homey qualities. The property is shared with the Embassy Hotel, there was a huge youth group that stayed at the Embassy and had an event during our stay in the pool area. I really liked this hotel! I was nervous about it because it was such a good price that I thought it was too good to be true—but our room was great! It was clean and perfect for our family of 5. There was a washer and dryer in our room, along with a fridge, stovetop, and dishwasher. Great pool and super easy beach access right off the pool.

I had a Wonderful ti e in the Beautiful pools & beach. The bar by the pool very friendly & welcoming. Oriental House was delicious.. Overall had a Great time

Our room was absolutely perfect. Very spacious for our large family. The washer and dryer was definitely a bonus. Everything was very clean & the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We had two minor things break during our stay, and the staff was so quick to fix it. We didn’t have to wait at all. There were so many places to eat within the community. I wish we would have got a golf cart that would’ve been very helpful to get around. The only thing I had to complain about was the pool. Unfortunately you had to walk through the pool to get to the office so there were constantly people walking back-and-forth through the pool area. Other than that everything was great. We were very pleased. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel, at least the villa where I stayed is very convenient. One bedroom, full kitchen, washer, dryer, dishwasher. Two pools, beach. Very quiet. Unfortunately this site is not handicap friendly. Stairs everywhere and no ramps.

The condo was better than in the pictures and the beach was great as well as the pool.

Great place with wonderful harbor view. Clean and current furnishings. Pools nice and clean and well managed.

Check in was super easy, the property was extra clean and the pool area was nice.
