Hotels with Swim-up Rooms in Pylos

We enjoyed a few great nights at this beautiful resort. Our room had a private pool (which we were upgraded to by surprise), the staff is A++, the entire resort has something for everyone. Excellent for families and for honeymooners.

Incredibly lush, verdant, very well maintained and secluded setting with tight access control in a beautiful corner of mainland greece. The overall atmosphere was relaxed yet very professional and other than the pools never felt crowded despite appztently being fully booked. Big, very comfortable and well equiped "infinity" room with private pool. Classy decor and top-notch climate control. Enormous, lovely, sandy beach with crystaline if chilly waters + various public pools and an absolutely great (but not free) spa that we had more ir less to ourselves every time we visited. Amazing breakfast both in the Westin and the Romanos,, extensive choice of eateries and multiple snacking opportunities around the pools and on the beach. Onuki, the Japanese restaurant was very good and in beautiful surroundings. Parking is ample and well organised The golphing experience (a very important part of the whole Costa Navarino business) seems to be highly rated by the cognoscenti... Voidokoilia beach 10 minutes from the hotel is a natural wonder and the nearby towns of Pylos and Methoni with its huge castle are wonderful. although its fair to say that one can easily spend days and weeks on end within the resort.

Our family with two children aged 9 and 11 had a wonderful stay at this resort. It has everything you could possibly need… as long as you’re prepared to pay for it as the extras at the resort are expensive. Stayed in a garden view suite with private pool, just perfect for a family. The suite was large, AC unit was the quietest I’ve ever experienced and beds super comfy. Room and whole resort was extremely clean. The selection of different types of swimming pools is perfect for kids and we always found an available sun lounger when we wanted one. A few irritating things to note: 1. the golf buggies sometimes drive too quickly and are there are many of them which is annoying when you’re walking along the paths and always having to move out of the way for them, 2. Whilst staff are super-friendly, they are not efficient as they could be and get orders wrong - not up to scratch for the high food and beverage prices, 3. It easy to get lost, rather than signage directions by room number, instead it uses names for different parts of the resort, which is meaningless. Overall I would recommend this report, particularly for families looking for a resort and beach experience.

A huge resort with amazing restaurants and friendly staff. The hotel has something for everyone, and is especially great for families and big groups. We had a room with a private pool, which we spent loads of time in with our 6 month old (also great for when he was napping in the day). The buffet breakfast is phenomenal, as too are the buffet dinners. The other restaurants we went to were all really high quality with a great mix of cuisines, and the square area has a really good vibe at night. The beach restaurant (Barbouni) is a particular highlight, great for lunch/early dinner or drinks. We had a terrible experience last year at a Marriott in Sicily (Mangias Brucoli - Don't go there unless you're a big fan of Fawlty Towers), and had some PTSD going into this, but can confidently say this is one of the nicest and best run hotels we've ever been to. The hotel is HUGE, and we found ourselves walking for ages in the first few days not knowing the shortcuts - but we quickly realised everything was a lot closer than we first thought. One person from our party couldn't travel due to illness (and his insurance was invalid), but the hotel were kind enough to not charge him for the days he missed of the holiday, which was incredibly generous! We will 100% be back.

We started on a high note with an upgrade due to Marriott status upon check in, putting us in an infinity suite with its own pool and two rooms and bathrooms which was ideal for our family of 4! Our 12 and 9 year old kids loved every minute of our quick stay— they played challenge games, did VR experience, played in a set of soccer matches with kids from around the world, went down the pool slides repeatedly, did race cars, saw a magic show, and swam at the beach. Needless to say they had the time of their lives. The room was well appointed. The property is sprawling so it’s easy to get disoriented. They have golf carts to take you around if desired. I took a fitness class and ended up the only attendee. The instructor was Dimitris (not positive on spelling) who is studying to be a physical education teacher, and he was excellent. The hotel was completely booked while we were there, yet we found availability at the pool and at the beach to have chairs together. We were also able to book restaurants easily. We ate at the Japanese and Mediterranean places for dinner and found them tasty, though very overpriced. The Greeks are very welcoming of families and delight in children, and this place was not exception. The beach is dreamy, with clear water, sea turtle nests and comfy loungers as far as the eye can see. I would recommend this relaxing and family friendly resort!

Our stay met all our expectations. Although we booked a garden-view room, we were given a room with an open view of the mountains, the sea, and the pool. The staff were exceptional—everyone from the reception team to the cleaning services showed incredible kindness. We had dinner on the deck of our apartment with a private pool, which was magnificent. There are at least two heated pools, and the beachfront area is also wonderful.

Came here for a couples retreat long weekend and was blown away by the place. The location, staff, amenities, restaurants are top notch. I need to stress that the level of service received is comparable only with great resorts outside of Greece. Amenities are always there and the concierge is wonderful. Rooms are spacious and the ones with the private pool that we stayed on was great. Recommended for a nice relaxing time. Not cheap but many offer are about so keep an eye out as it can be very competitive but always well worth it.

The hotel was absolutely lovely. Nothing at all to criticise it. We did however have problems with our booking and our expectations of the seaview were not fulfilled with our first room - a deluxe sea view, which despite the name, had a scrap of a sea view in the distance across the golf course. To get a really good sea view you need to upgrade to a premium room, and hotels.com doesnt make that obvious. The premium room is marginally wider but other than that is identical to the deluxe room - apart from the view that is. The hotel manager was extremely kind and on our second day moved us to the sea view we expected (given the price and description), and we had three stunning sunsets. Food was absolutely marvellous, the beach and the beachfront seafood restaurant were both wonderful for people watching, the swim up pool bars were great and there were no problems with space to enjoy and chill out wherever you wanted to be - beach or poolside. Most of all we loved the Asian restaurant, Imbi. We will go back soon, hopefully next year.

I stayed at the Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino, Greece, from July 8-12, 2025. It was so amazing! My husband & I had a beautiful, comfortable room with a private pool - absolutely heaven. All of the employees were just so incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved the delicious breakfast at Pero. But, the best part was going to the pool with the pool bar. After getting out of the pool on the first day at the pool, Georgios, a waiter, ran over to hand me a towel. He was attentive, funny and to say he had personality was a complete understatement. He also made a fantastic lunch recommendation. Stavro, a supervisor who wore a blue shirt, was so hardworking, personable and just great. A female guest asked him to get rid of a big bug, and of course he obliged. We all laughed about it that day and the next especially after learning what the male bugs can do to you. Ick! Then, we met Melina, the second day. She was very, very sweet and professional. These 3 employees were the absolute BEST and made the trip so much fun and memorable for us. We got to know them so well, I felt like hugging them when we left. Other employees that did a great job making sure we had a wonderful time at the pool were Angeliki, Georgia (she was new), and the woman server from France. Thank you!!!

Excellent customer service, peaceful and calm vibe, very good interior design, love the room so much with the swim-up pool. Me and my friends had so much fun in the pool with the staff who work at the bar and the pool. I will come back again and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is superb. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and try to help in any way. The breakfast was one of the best that I have had. The choice was amazing and there was everything there that you could think of. Pools were magnificent and we had a room with a swim up pool which was wonderful. Pool towels were plentiful The bottle of Moet and cake for my birthday was a lovely treat and surprise and very much appreciated. We didn’t eat supper at the hotel but a short walk along the beach brings you to some lovely restaurants .

W Costa Navarino hotel is a new gem in the area. I really liked the property and I have a really good and relaxing experience overall. Let me highlight few things: - Swim up room was just amazing. The decoration and all the amenities were so luxury and premium. Loved that part. High quality in all the materials, great work. - The main restaurant of the hotel “Parelia” serves really delicious food. We enjoyed our night there and the service was fast and good. - The main pool area is so beautiful and I like the vibes of the hotel as they have Dj during the day and beach events in the night. - Reception was so kind and helpful - Breakfast variety and quality is really good. Something that I found basic for hotel’s standards is the food menu in pool area. We tried different things but did not like the quality. Also, I faced a delay on the order. Hope this to be improved and be aligned with whole high standards. Lastly, although an unlucky moment in the breakfast where we had to wait some time to be seated, management showed high professionalism and made really good gestures so that we can enjoy our stay even more.

We stayed in a three-bedroom villa, which was spacious and comfortable for four people. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom. Both the master bedroom and the living room opened onto a terrace with a private pool and direct access to the beach. The villa itself was beautifully designed with elements of contemporary art - it was a real aesthetic pleasure to stay there. The villa was equipped with a coffee machine, a kettle, a sink, and a minibar, although no stove was not intended as part of the facilities. Everything was spotless and well maintained, there was a regular cleaning - and even more often, as housekeeping comes again in the evening to tidy up. The bed linen was perfectly clean, and there were always enough towels. The hotel is adults-only (14+), so it’s very peaceful and quiet. The staff were attentive and always quick to help whenever needed. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious. The hotel grounds are lush and spacious, plenty of space to walk around. There are several pools located throughout the property, including one heated to 27 °C — especially enjoyable now that the weather is cooler. The hotel also has an excellent spa area with a hammam and two saunas.

An amazing new hotel. The check in was easy. We didn’t even have to take our luggage out of the car, everything was done for us so we could relax from the minute we arrived. You are escorted from your car straight to fresh towels and a welcome drink. You have the time to unwind before checking in. Check in was easy and I absolutely appreciated the upgrade to a fabulous room with direct pool access. Our first night coincided with the first event of the hotel. We did have an issue regarding dinner reservations, which did dampen our first impression. Going to bed without dinner was not what we would have expected in such a hotel. Day two of four we decided not to let that spoil the rest of our holiday. We did receive an apology for the situation and a free dessert that evening, which didn’t really suffice but it was an acknowledgement of what had happened. The remainder of our stay was relaxing. I do think the food is a little over priced but that is expected in an expensive hotel. I understand the hotel had only been open for three weeks, so I was expecting teething problems, which other than our first night, it was trouble free. The staff are amazing and couldn’t be more attentive and professional. Overall the hotel has a great relaxed vibe. It’s a huge property that gives you space and privacy if that’s what you prefer. I totally recommend and wouod stay again.

Staff were exceptional, real professionals who know what they're doing. Our villa with a private pool was just amazing, very tasteful interiors. The only downside the large group of 6 next to is who were very loud thankfully not till late but still enough to annoy. .

The location on a hilltop beyond the village of Methoni means that there are cooling breezes even in the heat of the day. Each of the apartments (like separate houses on two floors) were individually designed in the local vernacular style - with all the facilities needed for all seasons comfort. There was an excellent pool-terrace and bar, with a pool that was large enough provided there were not too many guests (during our stay there were very few other guests). Some apartments have a garden view, others a view down a narrow vally to the sea. The atmosphere created by Mario who oversaw the operation of the complex whle we stayed there is very relaxed and welcoming.

We spent only one night here but Marios made this time unforgetable. He is really, really kind and he has a great sense of humor. We spent some hours in the bar which he opened only for us and we talked, laughed (and drinked) a lot. Otherwise the apartment is new and cool, we did not tried the pool but he said there are pool parties as well.

The accommodation is clean and spacious, everything is new, and the place looks very similar to the pictures. The host helped us with everything we needed and gave excellent recommendations for beaches and restaurants in the area

The villa was perfect and so much better than expected, the photos don't do it justice. I have never stayed in a villa where they have thought of absolutely everything even down to the speakers outside by the pool. The villa was spotless and Mellina and her team were on hand 24/7 to help with any questions. The location is a short stroll from the shops and resturants so perfect.

Beautiful property, very clean and helpful hosts who were really responsive and made us feel very at home and comfortable.

A lovely villa home from home with everything needed for a great holiday. The pool and area was cleaned every morning by the lady who always had a smile and there to help if needed. Would definitely recommend Venus Villa for a lovely relaxing holiday. The town and beaches are all nearby and easy to walk to.

The house, the gardens and the swimming pool are gorgeous and very well maintained!! The view from the house and the sunsets are amazing! Vicky welcomed us very graciously and gave us useful tips for restaurants, beaches and places to visit in the area. We had a wonderful time and we would love to come back again!

This was an exceptionally beautiful and accommodating villa with an amazing view of the sea and town of Pylos. The home had every amenity one could think of, including a beautiful swimming pool. And the decor was right out of a designer magazine. I was blown away on arrival.

Multiple rooms and bathrooms across different floors allowed for a comfortable stay for 7 people. Beautiful views of sunsets each night. Kitchen was well equipped for breakfast and reheating lunch/suppers we bought in local restaurants. Quiet country-side location with easy access to Pylos and local market for supplies (we had our own car). Owners were available and very helpful for local resources, tips, etc. Pool was large and had stairs to access: depth was around 5 feet throughout. Ping pong table provided was fun! Daily house service allowed for towel changes and minor cleanups as needed.

Luxury hotel with panoramic views over Navarino Bay. If you play golf it’s surrounded by golf courses. If you want to swim in the sea the beach is part of the hotel and sheltered and clean with all the facilities close at hand - they give you a device to call for service so if you are feeling really lazy you don’t need to get off your sun lounger! The spa is excellent too.

Everything and everyone, from the moment we arrived and our departure from the room to the kids club it was all top notch even though we are at the end of the season (only those who worked in hotels know how difficult it is to maintain this high level at the end of the season). The hotel is full of style and the rooms are amazing.

The property is beautiful with an immense sense of serenity and calm while simultaneously creating an atmosphere of comfort, sincere friendliness, and warmth. The views are stunning and the food in every restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast is a complete and immersive experience that we looked forward to everyday.

You might at first glance think this hotel is dated...wait 24 hours - once you sit on your balcony literally overlooking the Ionian Sea , step off the ladder into the Ionian Sea, not have to fight for a front row beach chair /cabana, have a delicious omlette and extensive breakfast made by the chef on your rooftop balcony overlooking the vast view of the Ionian Sea , have a late afternoon drink at the "pool"bar on the top level of the hotel and glaze out at the expansive water view - you will forget about any small problems you might see with the hotel upon first glance ..a short wander into Pylos presents you with multiple restaurant choices. 4 amazing golf courses within a very short drive ...if you book for a week you will be wishing you booked for two!

Gem of a hotel, we'd walked past it many times but this was our first stay and were not disappointed. The room was fine, could have done with some paint touch up where a leak had happened above. Bathroom was fine with a good shower by Greek standards. The view from the balcony is to die for and is worth visiting for this alone. There's no pool but access to the sea is easy from the steps in the hotel grounds. Breakfast was probably the best i've had anywhere in Greece, a fantastic selection of fresh produce and eggs done to order swiftly, the breakfast staff are a credit to the hotel, welcoming and professional, and there's the view from the breakfast room.... Will stay here on our next visit without doubt. Oh, and Bella the dog.

We love the town of Pylos and Karalis has a unique location under the fortress wall at the end of a shady street (this was our 3rd stay with them). The rooms are very charming and comfortable with an amazing view of the town/bay from the large balcony/terrace. Breakfast is excellent with a good variety of food (hot fresh egg dishes also upon request) and excellent service (and great bottomless espressos and cappuccinos). There is also a great/large sun deck with unique swim spot and “pool” bar on the property. We always enjoy some great meals a casual stroll away from the hotel and this trip also hiked a to a local “hidden” beach nearby.

Hotel by the sea and room balconies over the sea and great in every detail! With bathroom sunbeds, even king size beds with pillows and towels free of charge. 4 steps from the clean sea. Bar with drinks, juices and light dishes from 11:00 am and the best view of the area. Elias is the soul of the bar and a “swiss army” knife!!! Great variety of food for breakfast (from 7 to 10:30!) and of excellent quality. Fruits, cheese, ham, eggs, mushrooms, juice, coffees, sweets, coffee etc. Also, ready sandwiches to go. Very friendly personnel, change towels every day. Very historic place with the hotel just under the almost 500 old castle. This is a very nice hotel located on a small hilltop facing Methoni and the surrounding area. The views from the room's terrace are fantastic, as well as from the breakfast and pool areas. The apartment was very spacious with all the needed amenities, as well as two bathrooms. The breakfast had enough variety, with some very tasty fresh pastries. The pool is large and has great views. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Overall we had a great stay at this hotel and would stay again if we are in the area.

Lovely clean hotel up on the hill above Methoni, staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast very good, though similar each day, but the star attraction was the infinity pool, we all loved spending time in and next to the pool... Oh and the best shower of any hotel I've stayed at in Greece.

Achilles Hills Hotel is probably the place where we found all the comfort, peacefulness and joy we could find in our vacation. The place is superb in the evening, when one can admire the sunset over the Methoni castle and the bay while listen dogs barking at distance and then hear the roosters and donkeys sing in the morning...more so from the 24h infinite pool open view... The blend of modern and authentic is just magnificent. Referring to more common reviews comments, cleanness, respect for clients, intimacy, food at the restaurant, wine and serving is irreproachable and suuper. Everything around, from Methoni surroundings, beaches, waterfalls, castles, museums, olive tours or just Greek villages in Messenia or Mani we have visited, continues to brings us memories we want to return to. We extend congratulations to the owner family and hope to see them again. Enjoy your vacation there, you won't regret.

We felt at home in this hotel, and were serviced by the most friendly and hard working staff and management. The room was spacious and extremely clean, the views were extraordinary, the breakfast was delicious with daily change of products. The pool is supersized, and we always found an umbrella and available seats. The staff was great, professional and friendly at the same time. We really loved our family stay and will come back for sure!

A beautiful hotel with a perfect location situated on a hill providing amazing views of Methoni and the castle. I chose this hotel because of the swimming pool and I wasn't disappointed. Really worth it. Clean comfortable rooms, bed and pillows. Friendly staff and easy parking with lors of shade. Also very happy with the breakfast.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Karalis City Hotel, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I stepped in, I was enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that felt both luxurious and homely. Every morning, I looked forward to their delectable breakfast spread that offered a delightful mix of local and international flavors. It set the perfect tone for the day. The services offered were impeccable, meeting all my expectations. The staff was exceptionally attentive, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and memorable. A special mention must be made of the owner, whose personal touch truly enhanced my experience. I am already marking my calendar for my stay next year. For anyone seeking an unmatched hospitality experience, I cannot recommend the Karalis City Hotel highly enough. It's not just a hotel; it's a haven of comfort and luxury.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The room and bathroom are modern, comfortable and well equipped.Towels and toiletries were replaced each day. Location of the hotel is great as just a short walk from the main square where all the shops, bars and restaurants are located. The rooms had a large balcony with great views across the harbour. Plenty of parking nearby. We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast was good and the normal buffet service had been adapted to comply with current restrictions. Reception staff very friendly and provided helpful information on local places of interest and restaurant recommendations. We also had a nice treat near the end of our stay when a bottle of wine and a selection of local cheeses were left in our room for us to enjoy.# Would definitely stay at this hotel again if we ever revisit Pylos .

We stayed two nights at the Karalis City Hotel and had a nice experience. It’s a good value for the cost. The breakfast spread was good with lots of options. We filled up and didn’t need lunch. Some fresh fruit would have been nice, they served canned peaches. The beds were a little firm for our taste, but the room itself was spacious and comfortable. Nice view of the harbor from our balcony. Roomy bathroom that was spotless. Appreciated the daily room clean. This was a perfect base for the area, great location near the square and lots of restaurants. There are a handful of parking spaces directly across from the hotel and a large public parking lot at the harbor down below.

We also loved having access to the sister hotel Karalis Beach Hotel with its beautiful beach bar and sun lounge area, only a short walk from the Karalis City Hotel. We had a car and found parking easily in a small street just opposite.

the hotel is on a busy road - find one in the heart of athens which isn't! - and you have to choose between ventilation with noise, and shutting TWO double-glazed doors and putting on the air-conditioning. i actually prefered to feel part of the busy city. rooms are immaculate and large as was the bathroom; my only minor criticism would be that the double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together ( i know that some dislike this ). good fridge, and the tv even got bbc world news, a rarity in greece. good and plentiful continental breakfast. staff are friendly and helpful, and speak good english. no idea what parking would be like, but i would urge you not to even think of taking a car into athens; traffic is manic and you are bound to get lost; use the metro which is brilliant and cheap, and will get you quickly to all the main places. at the price i paid this was a bargain hotel and i shall certainly be back.

Удивительное место!!!! Отель в центре города на центральной улице. Если путешествуете сами на машине, иначе туда не добраться - стоит искать город Метони, а не Пилос, как в подтверждении. Пилос брать как направление, от Пилоса на машине еще минут 25-30. Возможно есть такие же названия вблизи других городков. Минуты 3 до прекрасного песчаного пляжа ( в летний сезон платный - платишь за напиток ) и наслаждаешься в свое удовольствием солнцем, чистейшим морем и прекрасными видами. Завтрак в отеле лучше не брать, он состоит из кексов, сэндвичей, масла, сока кофе или чая. Номера с балконами (столик, стулья, сушилка для купальников и полотенец). Очень приятные номера, современный дизайн. Все очень чисто и опрятно. В номере холодильник. Прекрасная хозяйка с изумительной улыбкой. Парковка для авто у самой гостиницы.

This experience could not have been improved upon. The buildings are beautifulThe apartment was huge and well appointed.State of the art tv's and temperature control. Wonderful beds and towels.Proprietor Dimetrius is friendly, informed and organized. At breakfast he high lighted the local specialties and detailed how they are prepared. He had a printed list of eateries in the area detailing their specialties, a sight seeing list. This topped off by an excellant Mani map and verbal directions. Many locales were within a 10 minute walk. I wasted a day in Kalamata that I would gladly have swapped for Aeropoli's Achelates Guest House. Lastly, the town has as much atmosphere as the guest house.

The property is relatively new , very modern , light and airy with spacious rooms. It was spotless clean in all areas and the reception were always very informative. It was on one of the main streets but was very quiet and away from the livelier front part of the resort. That’s was safe parking to the rear. Tabernas and bars were a five minute stroll away in either direction. It is one of the nicest stays we have had in travelling Greece for over 20 years. !!

Everything about the hotel was very good. The collection from the airport and the reception at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, and having decided to have breakfast each day the selection of food was impressive. The room was cleaned each day with fresh towels every third day and the whole hotel was very clean. The best accommodation we have had over many years visiting Greece.

The Hotel Ulysses says it is "more home than hotel" and I completely agree. The price to value ratio for this place is incredible - you feel like you are staying with very hospitable friends. The location is great - in the center of Methoni, walking distance to both the beach and the upper part of the town and castle; there is street parking right outside the hotel and a lot by the beach a 3 minute walk away. The property is also beautiful - a well restored large home with a lovely lobby and garden where you can eat breakfast; there are stairs to climb to rooms, but nothing major. The breakfast itself is very generous - a boiled egg, fresh bread, cheese pie, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, and a little sweet. No choices, if that is important to you, but everything is so fresh and tasty - I loved it. The owners have lots of nice touches - mosquito plug ins, books, umbrellas and beach towels/equipment to lend, and they send you home with a nice bottle of olive oil. The rooms are small, but nice- very clean, cute terrace, good wifi, excellent water pressure and temperature. Like all of this region, you cannot flush toilet paper and the plumbing is a little slow/weak, but no real complaints. A great stay and we left so relaxed!

We stayed in this little gem of a family run hotel for one week in 2019 while touring the area. We decided to return for a few days this year and we're so disappointed Nikos was full on the dates we requested. Knowing nowhere else would do we rearranged our itinerary to suit accordingly. Nikos and his family are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay perfect. Last time he gave us lots of information about places of interest and even supplied us with chairs and an umbrella. Rooms are very clean, tastefully decorated with super comfy beds and lovely bed linen.. Breakfast is served on the shady patio and is lovingly prepared by Mum with a variety of homemade treats.Each morning had different little delights to look forward to. We also received a bottle of olive oil as a gift. Forget the larger hotels, this is a must stay when visiting Methoni. Thank you again Nikos and family

Despite it being one of the wettest weeks of the year, I enjoyed my stay in this lovely little hotel. It's simple, authentic and welcoming. The garden patio is such a beautiful spot for the incredible breakfast that is served every day (you won't be able to eat it all!) My room was immaculately clean with an extremely comfortable bed and small balcony and the shower was perfect for warming up after a damp evening. It is quiet and peaceful and yet close to the beach, restaurants in the square and Methoni Castle. Highly recommend three restaurants which I will review - Modon which specializes in fish, Old Story and the Trojan Horse Cafe which has the most incredible desserts! Nikos is a wonderful host and does everything he can to make your stay a pleasant one. I highly recommend this family run hotel and look forward to returning in better weather!

“More home than hotel” is the Ulysses Hotel logo and it’s just fitting. If you’re looking for impersonal luxury, go elsewhere. What you will find here is a small, comfortable and welcoming guest house where the breakfast will keep you going until mid-afternoon! I loved chatting with Nikos (owner) and Egle (cook and dessert specialist extraordinaire) and enjoyed my time there immensely. I spent 12 days at Ulysses Hotel in Methoni in June 2023 and they made me feel so welcome. They were very accommodating, even preparing a sandwich for my 5 AM departure to go to the airport in Athens. The location is perfect: a few street corners away from the beach, the Castle and the restaurants/gift shops. As my pictures show, it’s no wonder the hotel is getting such rave reviews here!

We'd seen this place last year on our first visit to Methoni and thought it looked really nice, so decided to stay here this time. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The location is great, just a stone's throw from the beach, but far enough away from the main square to avoid what little noise there is. Our room was on the small side, but very comfortable and with everything one needs provided. The bed especially, with its orthopaedic mattress, was great. We had a nice balcony with a view over the town towards the mountains. The building is lovely and very tastefully decorated. The outside vine-covered terrace is a delight and the breakfast (which is served on the terrace) is delicious.Nikos is an excellent host, extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
