Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Louisiana

If you are looking for a place to stay on the Amalfi coast with an authentic Italian feel this is the place. Amalfi & Positano & Salerno are gorgeous and great to visit but way too many tourists making it feel like it didn’t have an authentic Italian feel in my opinion. We had a 10 day stay and I cannot say enough good things. The location is phenomenal. There’s a bus station right outside the hotel and the ferry dock is right in town just a quick 10-12 min walk where they have the best food. Not to mention the unobscured phenomenal view from your own private balcony over looking the sea. The room was very very clean and comfortable - room service always did a great job at keep it tidy. The bar was great for lunch and drinks - especially at by the private beach. The hotel as a whole was also very clean and tidy. We loved the option for the pool as well - nice to relax in after walking all day. There’s an unlimited amount of food options in town which again is just a quick walk away. If you want to get breakfast at the hotel it’s worth every penny or you can walk down to town where there’s a couple cafes- Bar Miramare was our favorite. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious- we got room service a few times. The reception was always available for questions.

It was simply beautiful. There was a great little beach and wonderful room. I would say my only cons would be that there is no pool, and I could not get a reservation for dinner at the restaurant. Otherwise it was great!

The property is well located as it’s not a busy area, easy to eat at restaurants around but the hotel has the top rated restaurant. We went for dinner and it was excellent! The breakfast at the hotel is exceptional, so many options and the service is so good! The beach is great as well. There are comfortable chairs with umbrellas. You can have drinks and lunch there as well. The water is nice and calm, it too lane waves, great for swimming. Bring your goggles to see the small fish. The room has an amazing balcony overseeing the ocean and Salerno. The room is nice but small. You can tell the hotel is a little older as the walls need a little work but it’s very clean. There is also a spa at the hotel with a nice big hot tub overlooking the ocean, so nice and great temperature, not too hot. There is also a steam room. The gym is very small, no free weights. As for noise in the room, it’s usually quiet but if one guest over you drags a chair, you will hear it! The hotel should invest in putting something under the legs of chairs like they do in the restaurant. Some people are so inconsiderate and don’t thing how they are bothering people in the rooms under them! All in all this is a wonderful hotel with very good staff, we would go back! Dolly who works in the restaurant and beach, is amazing!

The hotel Is very unique as it is built into the side of a cliff. It appeared all rooms had an ocean view, if not a balcony. The common areas, including a deck with a lovely view on the first floor and the private beach, are wonderful. The nearby town, Cetara, is a short walk away. It’s a smaller town than others on the Amalfi Coast, but it was charming. Parking was free at the hotel which is a nice bonus. The other towns are also accessible by bus or ferries (my favorite way to travel between all of the charming towns. TravelMar). The beach was our family’s favorite part. There are lounge chairs and umbrellas and the water was lovely. Food and beverages are available down by the water. It’s definitely a hike back up to the hotel, but the path is nicely maintained. Breakfast was also nice and included juice, an assortment of deli meats and cheeses, bread and pastries, nuts, fruit, coffees, and even prosecco. Everything was very clean. The furnishings and condition of the room/hotel were somewhat dated. It was still a good value for the money. The front desk staff was nice.

This hotel is a gem!! The private beach access alone makes it a must stay! The food by the beach is great and the beach chairs and easy water access means you can stay out there all day. Bring your water shoes because the small rocks when you're getting in and out are a little rough. The hotel is right at the beginning of the Amalfi Coast and although you can drive from there to the most popular destinations on the coast, there is no need to because you are a 8 minute walk to the town of Cetara which is an embarkation point for all of the water ferry's that affordably take you to any of the destination cities on the coast you might want to visit. The hotel is very well run and the breakfast every morning is TOP notch!!! The only thing we weren't impressed with is the main dining restaurant which during our stay was a lot of pomp, and low on taste and options. Overall everything tied to the hotel (not the main dinner restaurant) was FIRST RATE and gets my highest rating for a must stay on the Amalfi Coast!

This is what a Leading Luxury Hotel of The world is. Keep in mind we staid at another “5 Star” hotel in Sardinia which was a joke compared to this hotel. I am a difficult guest. I love to find everything that’s wrong with a hotel when they charge what they do. I told the guys at the front desk at departure my biggest complaint was I have no complaints. From the time of arrival I was given a choice of rooms. The Breakfast here is what dreams are made of. My wife who worked at Food and Wine for many years laughed at how their regular pizza served by the pool is one of our favorites anywhere. My daughter who doesn’t eat tuna ate their Niçoise salad every day. Their coffee shakerato at the beach club is something I chase when I come home but can’t be recreated. The staff at this hotel is the mountaintop. From letting my daughter make a pizza in the kitchen to helping us on and off the boat for private boat days or making reservations down the beach at zeffree and getting us on that boat. The scent, the view, the 10 story glass elevator overlooking the water and flowers. This is our 2nd time here. First time was a honeymoon. This time was with our 6yr old. There are several 5 star hotels with beach access on the coast. Sadly I will never experience them bc this is where I will always stay.

Bucket list property that exceeded my high expectations! Site and staff were over the top gracious and welcoming. Every level of service was impeccable. Hotel views are world class, upgrade from balcony to private terrace was so very much appreciated, the included breakfast was massive and the most extraordinary quality and quantity, the service was bot ever present and incredibly discreet. Loved our interactions with the front desk staff, who all seemed to act as concierges! Bellman fussed over every little detail to ensure our comfort in transportation needs for our luggage to and from and for our little jaunts around the corner into downtown Amalfi, or up the hill to begin the Path of the Gods. The gardens, the scents, the candlelight in the evening, the views from every secret garden and terrace, the glass elevator beckoning you to the pool below and sea beyond. Hotel Santa Caterina is everything!

This is a wonderful hotel of old worldly charm with modern facilities. The staff are the most attentive we have ever met, they cannot do enough for you. From the reception, waiters at meal times to the cleaners all just wonderful. It has an Italian charm of a earlier era. The hotel first built 1904 with just 6 rooms has expanded along and down the cliff face, breathtaking sea views and of Amalfi. Still owned by the same family (2 sisters I believe) many of the staff have worked worked there for years. Our only disappointment was the pool area down at sea level, which is just reaching completion of refurbishment and was not open. Not explained at time of booking but for people going later this will be just an added plus to what truly is one of the great hotels of the world.

Fantastic setting with impeccable service. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, in all of the restaurants at reception and by the pool. The bar is stunning and the food was delicious. Amazing choice at breakfast especially the pastries. Our room had some ants as it was in the garden so we were instantly upgraded to a stunning suite. The extra details from the restaurant recommendations, early check in, the Dyson hairdryer and the make up towel in the room, to being offered iced water throughout the day all added to an incredible stay. We loved the Prosecco and treats from the chef on arrival to celebrate our honeymoon too. This is an expensive hotel but it was a real treat and we would love to come back in future!

Everything was perfect, from the beautiful room, the terraces, bars, restaurants, to the pool and other facilities. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, everything you could need had been thought of in advance. I loved all the hidden away spots where one could sit and admire the view. I had a particularly good dinner at Glicince; as a solo traveller sometimes servers don’t know what to do with you - whether to talk to you, or put you in a corner and leave you alone. Here, the service was pitched perfectly; they judged very quickly what level of engagement might be welcome and got it exactly right. Needless to say the food was excellent.

La Barbera was the most amazing place! The staff was outstanding and planned our entire weekend with fantastic dinners and beach clubs! Room was large and the private pool with the view is stunning

Everything at La Barbera was absolutely exceptional. I am not the person to write reviews, but this stay was so absolutely incredible, that I felt compelled to share my feelings! If you are coming to this area at all, stay here. We stayed 4 nights, which perfect for us, although it was hard to say goodbye. You will dream about the breakfast spread for the rest of your life! And the hospitality was just incredible. Silvia and the rest of the staff took such incredible care of us. The first day it was raining, and Silvia coordinated a restaurant owner to pick us up and drop us off, so we didn't have to walk the steep steps while wet. There's even a restaurant in the town that will deliver food (amazing pizza and pasta), so if you've walked a lot that day and are tired, you can just eat on your balcony. I just can't say enough incredible things about this wonderful place. The location on the coast was excellent and we found enough to do in the town that we mostly stayed there and spent time reading and soaking up our amazing balcony - with an outdoor shower and hot tub. If you are considering staying here, just do yourself a favor and book it! You won't regret it.

Words cannot describe just how amazing our stay was. Firstly a massive thank you to the staff Roberto, Francesco and Sylvia. Their attention detail, service and willing to go above and beyond for there guest was simply outstanding. Nothing was too much to ask for. The design in the rooms are spectacular, every little detail has been thought of to truly represent Praino. The view is absolutely out of this world. Yet again, words cannot describe it. We also had a hot tub that we enjoyed everyday ! The breakfast was exceptional every morning. The wide range of choice was more than we expected. If your planning a trip to Positano DONT! Praino is the only way to go. There are no crowds, the beaches are far nicer and the restaurants (in my opinion better than Positano) eat to get in as long as you book that day. My wife and I travel extensively and are lucky to have stayed at some of the best hotels throughout the world. La Barbera has left such an impression on us that we will be guest of theirs for life when coming to Italy. If you go to Praino, this is the only place to stay

La Barbera is truly my favorite place I have ever stayed and I have traveled many places across the world. They truly have thought of every little detail. I have never slept better in Europe in any other location. The breakfast is so incredible I had a nightmare one night that I forgot to set an alarm and missed it. Thank god that was not real. Truly an unforgettable experience and I will be back to this amazing B&B and town. Definitely recommend Praiano to stay, they have plenty of entertainment but far less people and traffic. The path of gods hike is also super easy to get too from this location. Definitely recommend that as well if you’re a fairly fit/mobile person. We also rented a scooter for a day in town, and this was a fantastic way to get around. My husband has a motorcycle license however, so I will say be cautious if you are not familiar with them. We even ended up adding a night to our original planned stay (our same room ended up being available), because we were so in love!!

Stunning location in Praiano with the best views of the coastal towns and the natural beauty. La Barbera is immaculate and feels fresh and luxurious for a small place - the staff are all so friendly and helpful and make you feel so welcome and valued. This was our second visit and it was lovely to be welcomed back like family. The breakfast is the best you’ll find anywhere! The rooms with the tubs make the holiday feel so special and allow you to enjoy the views whether it’s hot or cold! The rooms are so clean and smell gorgeous and the decoration throughout is evocative of the amalfi coast whilst being chic and stylish. We had excellent recommendations for places to eat and help arranging transport which was essential during a very hot week! We couldn’t have been looked after better by Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco and the wonderful ladies who support the running of this paradise.

We were travelling along the coast by car and the staff assisted us locate the parking space within the restricted zone. It was a real bonus having parking at the hotel in the centre of Amalfi. We arrived early in the day and the staff very kindly accommodated our early arrival by allowing us to check-in early. We were also given a complimentary room upgrade which was an unexpected treat. Our room was quiet and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was great!

The room was super spacious and the hotel taught of every little thing. We didn’t have to get any essentials as it was already supplied for us plus the breakfast was amazing and a wide range of options with high-quality food. The room was amazing and with an amazing view and was super central. Staff were also very helpful and we would recommend this place highly

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. The room, the private grassy terrace, the pool with the ocean view, all absolutely stunning. The host was so kind and met our taxi up the hill and carried my very heavy backpack down to our room for me. Extremely welcoming and gave us info about bus times and transportation for the rest of our travels. The pool was lovely and had the best view, lounge chairs, and beverages available. It is up a hill so be ready to walk down into town, only about 0.5 miles down to many beautiful ocean view restaurants and some do have shuttle service back up. If you want to enjoy the best view in a gorgeous room and amazing hospitality, stay here rather than the very touristy Positano and Amalfi. The breakfast bar was beautiful and delicious- espresso, fresh juice and plenty of food options. This place felt like a dream! 10/10!

We arrived much later than expected, but the kind young woman that works there graciously waited until we got there. Although the steps to the B&B appear daunting, it is relieving to know that I can easily work off all of the delicious calories I had just ate and drank while enjoying the many restaurants on the main street. :) The room was clean and intimate, not as big as I imagined, but it suited us quite well. Who wants to spend too much time in their room while on vacation anyway? Each room had its own outside space overlooking Praiano, the beautiful Mediterranean sea off the Amalfi Coast, and not too distant views of Positano, which was breathtaking every moment I spent admiring. The pool was refreshing and mostly always private. The breakfast provided in the morning was continuously fresh and wholesome, offering a wide variety of local items to choose from. The B&B is connected to the Path of the Gods, just a many, many steps up - but so worth the views and adventure if you like to hike. My boyfriend and I went to celebrate my 30th birthday, as well as our dating anniversary. We will definitely be back when we have the chance, and we will more than likely revisit this B&B due to the great experiences we had while there. Grazie!

I cannot say enough good things about Villa Il Frantoio! I was travelling alone and stayed for 6 nights - the room was spacious, with a whirlpool bath, kitchenette and very comfortable bed. The view from the private garden was spectacular, breakfast was varied and fresh and the pool was heated, which was good for April! Giacomo, Giulio and Cristina really look after their guests, remembering how you like your eggs in the morning and for general local knowledge. I had contacted them before I travelled for a recommendation for a transfer from Naples and they sent me information and I got a very good deal for a shared transfer. Yes, there are 250 steps up from the main road but they are totally doable and the view is worth it. I will return with my husband and kids to stay in the apartment when my girls are big enough to handle the steps! Thank you for a wonderful stay-this trip was a gift for my 40th birthday and my main aim was to relax, have a rest, and enjoy the view and it exceeded all of my expectations. Would highly recommend staying here - Praiano is quieter and calmer than Positano or Amalfi but the local bus will get you to either of them in half an hour for €1.50!

We booked the entire villa for our friends and family for the week around our wedding. It was absolutely spectacular - all brilliant rooms with incredible views towards Positano and Capri. Guglio met us in Praiano to help with our cases, and kept the villa clean and tidy around us. The breakfast buffet was fabulous with fresh coffee and eggs to order. We weren't sure what it would be like having staff there but they weren't imposing whatsoever, and they were incredibly helpful for travel advice, and obviously cleaning and breakfast too. The pool area was beautiful. Praiano is far quieter than the nearby Amalfi and Positano either side so we'd definitely stay here again when visiting the coast. There's so much more we could say, everyone has told us what a marvellous week they had. We'll definitely be back as a couple.

"Like" doesn't do Villa Il Frantoio justice––my husband and I LOVED our stay here. Roberta was so kind to help us book almost all of our activities and dinner reservations for the week to make our honeymoon one of the most incredible vacations we've ever been on. Julio is the warmest of hosts, Leah makes an absolutely delicious breakfast, and Cap't Giacomo gave an amazing tour of the coast from the sea on the Villa's lovely yacht. If you go to the Amalfi Coast and want to stay at a tranquil, beautiful property with a pool, amazing views, and top-notch hospitality, there is no question that Villa Il Frantoio in Praiano is the best place to go!

The Borgo Santandrea is breathtakingly beautiful. The location is stunning, watching the sunrise in the morning from our balcony was a wonderful start to the day. The interior is stylish, inviting and everything has been well considered. We had our room upgraded to a suite with a private plunge pool and we just didn’t want to leave. The staff were fabulous without exception, providing faultless service and going above and beyond. We took the boat into Amalfi from the hotel a couple of times, a great way to admire the coastline. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning, cocktails then dinner in the evening… the food and the setting were perfection.

I have stayed at many 5 star hotels. However, other than the Rosewood in Cabo, this is the best service I have received anywhere. The hotel is only 3 yrs old and beautifully appointed with mid century modern furniture and a nautical flair. The grounds are gorgeous, their beach area is gorgeous and they are about to change their large pool into an infinity pool. The entire staff is was kind, polite, attentive and an all around delight. It is very apparent that they pride themselves on their service. We will definitely be back.

Wow! Borgo Santandrea is a property and experience that is hard to describe. Words fall short and won't adequately encapsulate the level of service, care, attention, and details that make this a one-of-a-kind luxury experience. We have traveled the world, and this tops the list of places we've stayed. The staff here puts on a masterclass in guest experience. We didn't lift a finger. The private beach offered poolside service and ample amenities (floaties, stand-up paddle boards, and a fabulous menu of drink and food offerings). Everywhere you turn, there is a surprise: lemonade, freshly baked cakes, and chocolates. And the breakfast...we're still dreaming about it. Everything you need to sink into relaxation and ease they've thought of. We traveled with our elderly parent, and she appreciated the boat and shuttle transfer to and from downtown Amalfi. From the Trimarco family, thank you for such a memorable stay. The hardest part was leaving, and we will certainly be back.

We had the privilege of staying at Borgo Santadrea for our honeymoon, and what an amazing decision it was. It could not have been more special! It's not by chance that this is considered to be one of the "The World's 50 Best Hotels" despite the fact that it is still a quite new hotel (less than 5 years) It’s difficult to praise everything that was extraordinary here, but the best for us was unquestionably the staff. Everyone was so nice! From the beach club, the Spa, the PT, to the kitchen and restaurant staff, chef and lobby. It didn’t take long until we were feeling at home. From the breakfast welcome of Antonio and Fernando, until the whole team at Marinella, and specially the Manager & Owner Maurizio who was present throughout the whole stay and making sure everything was beyond well - you can definitely see the touch of Maurizio everywhere as the hotel is just extraordinary in every aspect. We also had the outstanding experience of having a cooking class with Chef Andrea at the Alici kitchen (1 Michelin Star), which we really recommend! You also won’t find a better beach setup at the Amalfi coast. The whole hotel is the definition of unpretentious luxury, and after some hours here you can’t help it but feel at home here. Oh , i don't know what to start from . First of all Hotel customer experience . Starting top 2 down . Ceo/Owner Maurizio welcoming every member at the door when u arriving. Than Atmosphere is starts : small tour over the hotel facilities , detailed explanation of what and where and how to use . especially pointing a free services like 80% of mini bar , free water taxi or private shuttle (until late night ) to nearest cities , free cookies and soft drinks all over the territories . Restaurant dinner reservation its like a small documental movie with special small surprises for every guest who left any piece of information about reason of the traveling . Private beach with all u need as towel and umbrellas and again free cold water bottles updated every 30 minute. Before than arrival i have send them info about celebration of our 15 years anniversary and Maurizio did crazy move - he upgrade us to Junior suite with private terrace (strongly suggested if u can afford ) , so our stay turned into dream holiday . But Maurizio is not the one and only who creating this magics . Tana - manager of facility , Chef - unfortunately i forgot his name , Our waitress - Aylin (beautiful service , smile , jokes ). Franchesko - beach service , Enzo - Boat driver - in a 10 minute ride i knew about Amalfi cost more than if i hire a guide with me .

The best thing about this place was the host! we absolutely loved the facility, the hospitality of the amazing host and the nonstop care of our needs that has been addressed super kindly. Francesco the host was very communicative and kind even asked about different options we want for breakfast, attractions to do in the Amalfi coast, helped us with translations and booking and probably gave us the best restaurant recommendation! The room was cleaned every day, the facility itself is high end with the sauna, private pool& Jacuzzi, all the options of coffee you can think of and snacks. We didn't just got a great host but also a new friend to come back to in Amalfi coast! Thank you SG for the kind hospitality

This was a paradise retreat from the throng of the tourist crowds on the Almafli coast. The luxury, serenity and the care from the hosts was far in excess of our expectations. Set in a small village (Dragonea) on the hills above Vietri sul Mare (beautiful town) it was a slice of real Italy and not the tourist trap of the classic locations - we didn't notice any other tourists. The local restaurant was exceptional, prices a lot less reduced from Sorrento! The facilities in the apartment were well in excess of our expectations they were well in excess of five star! Although not sure the sauna was necessary in an Italian summer. The pool was very high tech - even the shower had more settings/ lights than I have ever seen. Brilliant coffee machine and stocked fridge. Breakfast was served fresh homemade at time of our choosing and what ever we wanted we mixed between scrambled/ egg/ pastries/ cold meat/ cheese/ bread. The hosts who lived next door could not have been more helpful/ yet discreet - they bent over backwards to help as much as possible even giving us a lift from Vietri and back in the next day - gave details on buses/ taxis/ local events. Dragonea was very honest traditional small town/ village - very friendly, beautiful church within 100yds of apartment and bus stop 150yds away that took us direct to Salerno when we left. Hosts were the best we have experienced in over 40yrs of travelling!

The most unique experience. The whole place is immaculately clean. The host was so welcoming, it was our honeymoon, and he had made such an effort to make every detail special for us. The place is even more beautiful than it looks. The pool was outstanding, so many different jets for different massage, the sauna was easy to use and the scent for the water was beautiful. The bed was so big and comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with many towels, dressing gowns and slippers. So many little details making the place so special such as the lights, snacks, and coffee machine. The breakfast was even better then we could have imagined. We will never forget our stay. Thank you so much.

This stay actually deserves more than 5 stars! We had an unforgettable week in this beautiful suite in Italy. Everything was provided for a delightful stay: a wonderful swimming pool, a private sauna, a convenient coffee corner, and two sunny terraces. What truly made this stay special was the excellent service of our host, Alessandro. He was extremely attentive, always reachable via WhatsApp, and responded very quickly. Every day, he asked us what we would like for breakfast and at what time, making everything completely tailored and worry-free. Alessandro was helpful whenever we needed him, yet discreet enough to allow us to fully enjoy our privacy. Outstanding service in every respect and a fantastic experience that we wholeheartedly recommend!

This place was one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in! So clean, everything you could ever need and the best, most hospitable host you could imagine. Buses were easy to navigate and so cheap into Vietri sul mare which is beautiful. The pool, garden at the front and the breakfast was just perfect! I would give this place 11/10 if I could!

Everything was perfect. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. We loved our plunge pool situated on our balcony. Breakfast was superb with excellent views. Can’t praise this hotel enough. We are already planning our next visit!

The check -in is seamless and you are offered a welcome drink and a light snack by the pool side as they get everything in order for you and then you are offered a hotel tour. The views from the hotel overlooking the bay are just amazing. The outdoor swimming pools are amazing though we were n ot able to use them as it was fairly chilly during our stay. The quality of breakfast was class apart with many choices. The service at this hotel is incredible with very attentive staff who will go out of way to make you comfortable. The spa pool is heated and the Jaccuzi and steam room were clean and the overall ambience in the spa was very relaxing. We did not get any service in the spa due to lack of time. Hotel restaurant is great as well though fairly expensive and since there is not much else around the hotel you will need to budget that in your trip. We did try the restaurant and the service was incredible. My only 2 cents to the management would be to add more frequent shuttle service to Amalfi as you have to get to Amalfi to go anywhere else. If you take a cab it will be 100 Euro to Positano for 20-25 min ride each way. We used hotel shuttle and the shuttle drivers were very well trained in the tricky roads. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully will come back next year.

I was worried about the operation before the trip and turns out this is definitely a 6 star hotel experience for us. A team of Super highly professional and guest friendly staff (Antonio) elevates the Grand Furore experience from the moment we stepped into the pearl white manor, greeted by refreshing welcome drinks that conjure up the image of one entering the heavens of Amalfi coast high above the clouds where you are immediately removed from the noise and chaos of tourist crowds. (It’s very nice they provide complimentary private car to amalfi and positano) Anchored at the centerpiece of this paradise is a stunning pool that transports the warmth of the Mediterranean sea, accompanied by an amazing poolside bar and restaurant. A must try is Grand Furore’s fine dining experience at Bluh helmed by resident chef Vincenzo, a surprisingly young Italian chef who mastered the art of Amalfi fine dining with creativity with local flavors way beyond the ordinary. The suite offers cozy and classy comfort reminiscent of a 007 movie set with attention to details at every corner, from the silky smooth pillows to a private jacuzzi that a Bond girl can dance with hot Amalfi sun or bath underneath the stars. Worth to mention, they have beautiful two pools, one is infinity and the breakfast was delicious with ocean view and blue sky. Can’t wait to come back.

Furore Grand Hotel is a true gem on the Amalfi Coast. The location and views are breathtaking, and the amenities are first-class—especially the beautiful pools, which became one of our favorite parts of the stay. But what we loved the most, is the people! From the warm welcome at the front desk with Raffaella and Roberta, to Gerry and Marina at the poolside bar, Domenico at breakfast and dinner, and Fulvio and Domenico in the shuttles to Amalfi, every single team member made our experience unforgettable. We can’t thank you enough! The service provided to my family was exceptional, and the way everyone treated our daughter Fernanda was incredibly special. She was welcomed with such kindness and attention that it made us feel completely at home. She had the vacation of her dreams!! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable and We cannot wait to return in the future and see you all again!

This property is truly magnificent! Considering that a lot of hotels, especially the Amalfi coast tend to be a little on the outdated side. This one definitely takes the cake in making you feel like you are in a five star resort. We arrived at the hotel around 10 AM because we had an early flight and Roberta Was the most accommodating person we have encountered. You can tell she definitely loves her job. She services you with a smile and extreme professionalism. Our reservation had three rooms and she knew we were jetlagged and she tried to get us in as soon as possible. The food is incredible. The rooms are clean and modern, but the best part is the pools. They have the most majestic view. The hotel is, a little far from the town of Amalfi and Positano however, the hotel does provide a shuttle and during the times that they don’t have one they taxis for you and you were able to charge your room for these. The only downside, but I think this is in general every hotel I’ve encountered in Italy is that the AC tends to not be as powerful as it is here in the US and I think for electricity conservation they kind of always shut off around 2 AM . Other than that It is the best hotel! We will definitely be back!

excellent villa high above Amalfi. I stayed there with my family of 4 children and another couple. very comfortable bedrooms with excellent air conditioning. upstairs kitchen works well with 2 good bedrooms upstairs and 3 very separate bedrooms, each with ensuite, and a further kitchen downstairs. the kids loved the pool. 3 distinct outdoor areas if you want some privacy. The villa is perched high above Amalfi - it’s 1300 steps down to the town - 20 minute walk down but not suitable for young kids - too steep. the walk up is a very solid workout and only an option for the fit. there is however a very comfortable bus that leaves every hour (on the half hour) 200m from the villa and returns each hour from Amalfi. the trip takes 20 mins and is €1.40 per person. much better option than driving as parking in the summer in Amalfi (or any of the towns) is a nightmare. There is a little village 100m from the villa that has 3 or 4 very good restaurants and 2 little stores for basic groceries. imo it’s the best place to stay in Amalfi - away from the madness of Amalfi in the summer but very convenient to go there for dinner/gelato/boat trips etc. staff were excellent and very responsive. highly recommend.

The views, the Villa itself ( great beds, great showers, plenty of room ) w a pool and multi-levels to relax and enjoy the Coast & the town Pogerola were all just fantastic. Two markets, two exceptional restaurants ( a hidden gem of a restaurant is La Capannina🏅), the tea room w Benito & Maria & Gerrys Pub are literally all just a 2-4 minute walk away. You don't even need to leave the town to enjoy a wonderful day. Plus easy access to Amalfi w busses running every hr up and down the mountain for less than $3

the property has amazing views over the Amalfi coast. the private pool is perfect for relaxing and keeping cool. there are lemon trees and tomato plants in the gardens. above the pool area there is a cute hammock and swing under the shaded terrace. the rooms are large and clean, with comfortable beds.the property is well equipped with everything you need. the host met us at the property and gave a full tour and explanation of the layout. there are two restaurants in walking distance that were both very good. there is also a convenience store a short walk away.

Michele the host was absolutely brilliant. He could not have been more helpful. The villa is run by a family, all of whom help in various aspects. Michele's aunt made a beautiful birthday cake for my wife and they can also book all your taxis for you, from experienced local drivers. All the rooms in the villa were spacious with good ensuite facilities. The outdoor space is great with a lovely pool. And the view....Wow what a beautiful aspect to wake up to. The pictures on the website do not do the villa justice...it is so much better.

Absolutely Perfect Family Stay! Villa Primavera was the dream setting for our family holiday of 10. Spacious, spotless, and full of charm, it had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable stay. The pool was pure bliss, and having a bathroom for each bedroom was a huge plus. The location was ideal — peaceful yet close to Amalfi and Positano — and the host made everything effortless. We loved cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, dining on the terrace, and exploring the stunning coastline. A truly unforgettable stay — we can’t recommend it enough!

Michele the host was great. His communication prior to arrive and during our stay was amazing. He was extremely helpful during check-in and check-out and recommendations. If we had any questions during our stay Michele was prompt. He was there to great us and see us off. The property itself was beautiful! Was a great location and very clean. We had a great time! The pool was cleaned for us daily. Highly recommend!

We had an unforgettable stay at Pesce d’Oro B&B. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views- waking up to the sunrise and blue sea from our room felt like a dream. Breakfast was a daily highlight: the homemade lemon cake and tart were divine, and the scrambled egg on toast felt a bit like home - and we could enjoy as many delicious coffees as we liked while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The location is perfect: walking distance into Amalfi town (around 30 minutes slow walk) with good ferry connections to Capri, Positano, Salerno, Sorrento, Naples, Ischia, and Castellammare di Stabia, together with bus connections to the Amalfi coast towns including Ravello, yet tucked away enough to feel serene and private. The hosts even sell bus tickets. One of the best surprises was the restaurant right below the B&B, serving the most delicious and authentic Amalfi cuisine. It was ideal for those evenings when we wanted a couple of drinks and a great meal without worrying about driving or trekking back to the hotel. Our hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, spoke excellent English and always there when we needed them, making us feel truly cared for. It’s rare to find a place that combines comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality so effortlessly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the magic of the Amalfi Coast with heart and soul.

This was the perfect place to stay! Alessio is not only a very gracious and friendly host, but he also plays the role of travel agent! He will coordinate any activity! On the first night we were there, I had a reservation at a restaurant on the beach at 8 pm. My phone said it was 5 minutes away. I did not know then that everything in Amalfi is not so easy to get to! I called Alessio in a panic, and he arranged transportation and told me exactly where I could get the boat there. He suggested that I send him a picture of where we were to make sure we were in the right place. Throughout the trip, he not only recommended, but facilitated all experiences. (for a cheaper price then we would have paid for a regular/tourist taxi). Also, we could not stop looking at our gorgeous ocean view. Believe me, this is THE place to stay in Amalfi.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. Every single staff member was exceptionally friendly, helpful, professional, and quick to respond to any request. Extending my stay by an extra day was arranged smoothly, and a driver was organized without hesitation—ready to take me to the airport at 5 AM. Absolutely outstanding service that really saved me! The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with a terrace offering a stunning view that made me want to stay longer. Breakfast was not only delicious but also served with a beautiful sunrise view. One of the breakfast staff was especially kind, constantly making sure I had everything I needed—whether it was more coffee or anything else. It truly felt like being at home. Next time I visit the area, I’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Residence Al Pesce d’Oro. The property has a beautiful atmosphere — peaceful, clean, and very well taken care of. The views are stunning, and waking up to such scenery made every day feel special. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and had everything I needed. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the overall calm, welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly, kind, and always ready to help with any request, which made the stay even better. The location is ideal — close enough to explore the surroundings easily, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy the environment. It’s a great place to unwind and soak in the charm of the area. Overall, a lovely experience and definitely a place I would return to. Highly recommended!

The location was great, had a great view was about a 10 minute drive from the city centre of Amalfi. It was actually nice to be away from all the hustle and muscle. Our Airbnb sits on top of a absolutely fantastic restaurant. We ate there several nights and ever dish was mouthwatering. At the Airbnb, we were greeted in the parking lot at our arrival by Alessio and Martina not only guided to send but helped to carry our luggage the service while we stayed. Here was fantastic. They responded to any of our inquiries immediately they make sure we were always comfortable, greeted us constantly with smiles. Breakfast each morning was lovely, they couldn’t do enough for us. We would stay there again for sure.

From the very beginning till the end, everything was amazing. I really like to travel, and this was by far the best stay I had. Enzo, the amazing guy that runs this hotel with his parents, picked us up from Napoli airport at midnight, outside of his working hours voluntarily and brought us safely to the hotel in a 1.5 hour drive. He was very quick with communication, very agreeable with expenses and so friendly. Our stay started perfectly and it got even better. From the amazing breakfast prepared by Enzo and his parents to all the help Enzo gave us with the planning of our days and where to eat/go. The room is always super clean, the help is always immediately there when asked. The terrace is overlooking Maiori, very relaxing and beautiful. They do an amazing job here, so cheerful, so respectful, helpful and very very kind people. And Amalfi is beautiful, Maiori is a great base to explore everything. I do not know what else is there to say, it all comes to the fact that I absolutely loved every second of it.

Absolutely Fantastic Experience. We booked this location for the incredible view of Maiori but the service and hospitality on offer surpassed the beautiful scenery. It was torrential rain for 2 days of our trip but our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember. Attentive service, immaculate rooms and a unique breakfast experience on the terrace Highlights included: Service - 5 stars - The young buck who welcomed us, carried our luggage up the winding steps - was the epitome of how to deliver guest service. A constant smile and smart attire Produce - Homemade wine and homemade limoncello marmalade - The first mouthful of this preserve was like stepping into Narnia, magical. The Location is fantastic. 5 minute walk from all the transport links to Amalfi, Sorrento and Salerno. I would recommend buying a €10Euro 24 bus ticket for the SITA bus company. These are available from the wooden cabins next to the bus stop in Maiori and allow you to travel everywhere along the coast.

This property is a personal, friendly, family run spot with amazing attention to every detail. They aim for a high-quality experience over a few rooms rather than operating a large impersonal business. The location of the property gets you up out of town, offering a beautiful view back down the valley over the town of Maiori. A delicious breakfast is served on the terrace, including homemade jams and spreads, veggies, meats, cheese, juice, coffee, etc, all plated up on colourful handmade ceramics. Again, amazing attention to detail and service! The breakfast was a real highlight of our stay. In addition to the breakfast terrace, our room also had a terrace with chairs and table looking down the valley where we enjoyed drinks (wine made by the owners) and snacks provided in-house. Enzo made our stay memorable with his attentive service and some great chats. It was the friendliest service we received on our 6 day stay on the Amalfi Coast!!

The property was absolutely stunning. The rooms were fantastic and large and the view from the terrace was unbelievable. The property was close to Maiori beach too. This was by far the nicest place I stayed in during my trip to Italy. What separates this place from others is the staff. All of the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, Enzo in particular was a pleasure to meet. When our boat to Salerno was cancelled due to rough seas, Enzo was able to give us a lift back to Salerno with very little notice and for a very reasonable price. The breakfast every morning was very well laid out and of high quality, they even provided us with lemon cream and lemon marmalade, sourced locally. The atmosphere at the terrace was great at all times of the day. Maiori is a beautiful spot and I would highly recommend Montagnella to anyone visiting!

What awaits you at the Montagnella Relax in Maiori far exceeds what you would expect from a B&B. This family team know all about good customer service which was flawless - seamless communication, valet parking service on arrival, help with the luggage into the property, easy check-in, friendliness, helpfulness. The breakfast was beautifully presented, their impeccably laid tables in the morning sunshine with a large choice of high quality delicious foods including many homemade surprises like lemon curd and lemon marmalade. The view from the terrace and the same view from our rooms was quite breathtaking. The mornings here in Maiori are vibrant and the evenings peaceful. Enzo, Aleco and the family made our short stay very special with their great hospitality, warmth and smiles! We will be back to experience more of the magic and charm of this relaxing little gem of a place!

Lovely hotel in good location. We had a deluxe room (renovated room) which was gorgeous and spacious. Room includes fridge and safe. Note when booking there are some older rooms so make sure you book what you are looking for. Reception hasn’t been updated yet so it can be a bit off putting when you arrive. Rest of communal areas are gorgeous, particularly the pool & restaurant on 8th floor. Although the pool area isn’t big and there aren’t a lot of beds this wasn’t an issue, there is no bed blocking and guests are given towels as they arrive. We didn’t find the party noise others have reported from the restaurant across the road to be an issue as we aren’t early bedders. You also get a free fireworks show from it. We struggled more with early morning noise in the hotel; if you like to sleep in I would suggest asking for a room that isn’t on 7th floor as the restaurant on 8th floor starts setting up for breakfast at 5.30am and you hear the furniture being moved. Also worth noting that if there is a wedding on in the hotel services are restricted: pool closes early, restaurants aren’t as available & bar closes 7pm. We also had some wedding guests coming into the pool area to take pictures which felt a bit intrusive when you’re in your swimmers.

This stay was absolutely amazing! The location was not only stunning but also extremely convenient in regards to the beach and nearby restaurants. The best part of this beautiful hotel was by far the staff. They were the sweetest and extremely attentive to you and your experience. Extraordinary service that I can only applaud. I only have a few improvement suggestions. The breakfast was not as good as I expect a 4-star hotel to be. There was a lot of cake which was beautiful, but I expected more for such a nice hotel. Last thing; since the pool was closed for maintenance, it would have been an amazing touch with some discount for using the nearby beach. Having to pay 30 euros per day on top of the +2000€ for the stay is a bit much in my opinion. It would have been a nice touch to make up for the closed pool. But all in all, incredible stay. I also splurged on the 7 course tasting dinner at the top restaurant and it was one of the best meals of my life!

This hotel is ALL about the view and it's stunning. A short climb out of town on narrow road but it's okay and parking service is slick. Having to book half day slot at pool in advance during covid could be big disadvantage not at all clear on hotels.com For a class establishment I was disappointed to have to use my shower towel at pool and beach. The WiFi was so bad my husband couldn't connect for duration of visit. Potential drawback depending on roaming fees. Hotel restaurant good and reasonable value also. Little extras like cups in rooms or complimentary water would be good touches for a quality and luxury residence such as this. As would umbrellas on balconies. There's a handy shuttle to the port we didn't know about until I asked for a taxi. At a cost of 10 euros per room.

This property is spectacular! The rooms are very clean and huge (we were upgraded). The staff were lovely and helpful. I feel like the pictures of the rooftop bar/dining/lounge areas and pool do not do this property justice, it was just gorgeous. We spent quite a bit of time in the afternoon sipping cocktails and watching the boats whizz past, it was just devine. Highly recommend for a couple. Only gripe was the pool shut too early at 6pm. Other than that it was great.

A quiet, exceptionally clean hotel offering a tranquil stay. In my opinion this is more of a couples hotel as there is no area for children to play nor a separate children's pool. We were lucky to book a seaview room with a large terrace and sun loungers included. This gave us the relaxing break we hoped for. The air conditioning was a little temperamental at times and there were no tea and coffee facilities in our room. However these were only slight inconveniences and we made the best of what we did have as our room was very comfortable, and had an excellent rainfall shower. The buffet breakfast offered a good selection of cold dishes and hot drinks, and the staff in the breakfast room were friendly. Andrea, the lifeguard, was quite a character and recommended places to eat and best transport options. He demonstrated high standards and kept the pool area clean and tidy, as well as providing pool side snacks and drinks, and good background music. Pool towels provided free of charge. Rosa on reception made us feel very welcome, had good local knowledge and was more than happy to offer advice on bookings and places to eat or places of local interest. In my opinion, she takes an active interest in all residents and likes to ensure that residents have a good customer experience at Hotel Il Pino. Special thanks to all the hotel staff for making our stay here so good, and especially Vincenzo, who indulged me in my quest to improve my Italian. Highly recommend Hotel Il Pino

From the moment be booked til the end of our amazing 6 day vacation we felt lots of support and great communication. The staff go above and beyond and met our every need at all times. Even before we would ask, it felt like they already knew how to make things even more special! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel/staff and location. Don’t 2nd guess, book your stay here! It’s perfectly situated between positano and amalfi coast making it ideal spot for the less crowded area but close enough to explore and enjoy all the surrounding areas. The hotel, view and pool area are beautiful. Rosa helped us set up a private driver to and from our hotel and helped us book a scooter rental for most of our days while there. It was so great to have help with dining, excursion/exploring ideas and also would help book these for us. Breakfast was amazing every morning and they even remembered what type of juice and coffee we liked, it would be ready at our table for us by the time we sat down. The pool guy was awesome and made us feel like we were at home.. amazing pool/bar area, super fun and played music we liked. The restaurant for dinner was absolutely delicious (awesome wine selection) the atmosphere was out of this world at dinner. It felt so warm, inviting.. like family. We truly are so grateful for all the love, attention and the care in every detail you gave us in all areas. We can’t thank you all enough for such an amazing and beautiful experience! Wonderful, beautiful, and amazing customer service. I don’t even know where to begin. This hotel is truly a gem; from the beautiful views, to the truly exceptional customer service at the front desk, restaurant, and pool area. The property is stunning, clean, and has everything you need. I am going to start by highlighting Rosa, who was responsive to my every message weeks before my trip. She arranged all of my transportation to and from Naples, suggested activities, and gave us the most heartwarming welcome when we arrived. Her smile and amazing personality are a treasure. I am going to continue by highlighting Antonio at the restaurant; I can still hear him singing to us, his contagious smile and wonderful spirit made us come back to the restaurant every single night we were there. We chose no other restaurant and looked forward to his heartwarming welcome every single night. Sending him warm hugs from South Florida. Lastly, we are highlighting Andreas at the pool, he made us feel so welcome the moment we stepped out. The views were amazing from the pool but having him there with great drinks, wonderful music, and a welcoming spirit made it so much better. I 100% recommended this amazing property.

We had the most amazing stay at Hotel Il Pino for 3 nights. It was in the centre of Praiano in regards to bars and restaurants, a few minutes either side. Of course, it has the most breathtaking view just like the pictures, worth every cent for the view alone. The pool facilities were wonderful, a little chilly upon getting in but it is just what you need on a very hot day. The breakfast was fantastic, it's self service mostly and eat as much as you like. The cappuccinos are especially outstanding we never had until arriving and have had them every day since. Housekeeping was excellent, we received fresh towels and housekeeping every day which is not always the case but great to see it. The staff in all areas of hotel, reception, breakfast staff, restaurant staff, pool staff and the night porter were all exceptional. They honestly were brilliant and a real assest to the hotel. Managment should be very proud of all!! About an hour after checkout I received a message from the hotel saying I forgot my car keys which was obviously a little stressful. The receptionist (forget her name brown long hair), went out of her way to deliver them to me personally in Positano in the evening after her work shift. This was such a help as if we had to go back it would have spoiled the day between buses and waiting and our plans for the current day. Really grateful for everyone at Hotel Il Pino and we will definitely return some day. 10/10, we would highly recommend.

The view from the room's balcony, the pool, and the lobby is breathtaking. We spent a lot of time at the pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the view. The pool had a snack bar where we got wine and popsicles. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful - they ordered a transfer for us to the Naples airport at the end of our stay. They held our luggage after our checkout. The breakfast was wonderful with a big variety. The room had everything we needed, including a queen and two twin beds. The location was fantastic but also private and not on a busy road. It was a 5 min walk to the city center. The views from this hotel are honestly the best in Ravello, and the price to stay was affordable!

Morgenmad var rigtig dejlig varieret og med italienske islæt og friskpresset juice og altid sødt og smilende personale på stedet:) 5-10 min gang fra Ravellos hyggelige centrum. parkering er dyrt. Lidt nedslidt på værelse i den ældre afdeling- og brusebad på vores værelse var i et højt badekar - kan være et problem for ældre mennesker med ind og udstigningen. Vi anbefaler dette rolige og smukt beliggende hotel🙏

The Hotel Graal is located a few minutes walk from the Piazza Centrale. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was amazing. Slightly pricey but well worth it! Both nights we spent having a few drinks in the bar. The bar is manned by the restaurant staff so there can be a bit of a wait for drinks. The view from our -4th floor room was fantastic. We missed the pool by a few minutes on our second day. The family running the pool area and the bar let us in, made us feel very welcome and still served us a few drinks. The bonus was that we got to meet their dog Red.

This place has a balcony with good view of the sea and mountain. The staff don't speak English well but we manage to communicate via Google translate. The light in the living room is a little bit dim. The shower tub entrance is a little tight to get in. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby and convenient. The only viable transportant is bus (uess you want to rent a car and drive in the windy and narrow roads over the cliff) and the closest train station is about 40 minutes away)

Super accommodation in the heart of Maiori. Very close to the beach side, so no hills to climb. Very close to the Maiori Center bus stop to go to Positano and Amalfi. This is a huge benefit as the buses fill up quick and usually people waiting at the next bus stops do not get into the bus. It also offers something quite rare for the Amalfi coast, which is a parking space. Apartment is big enough and offers all facilities

Soooo perfect, clean, Equipped with full of new amenities. Everything as described in photos. Calm and very beautiful neighborhood. Accessible to station and beach only in 1 minute. City is not crowded and not expensive compared to amalfi. The balcony and big terrace view to see is marvelous. Staff behavior was one of a kind! Very friendly, very hospitable, very welcoming, and easy check-in.They speak English very good and have good recommendation. My only choice for next trips.

We were greeted nicely by the wonderful lady (maybe the manager or the owner of the apartments), her welcome was enough to make our stay comfortable, she helped us with another person when we made the mistake of parking the car in the wrong place. The location is excellent, the balcony is beautiful, the apartment is clean, the staff are friendly, there is a car park, bright terrace. We liked everything.

The property was very basic but it was clean. The wi-fi was great. The shower, although small, worked great. They were close to the beach and there was a place to park the car which is a huge plus on the Amalfi Coast. There was also a place for us to lock up our bikes. The managers were friendly and check in was easy. Would definitely stay there again.

There was no dining facility and wellness or even swimming pool was not part of hotel service( payment separately) and breakfast could be better with some fresh fruit etc

New, clean hotel close to Napoli. We stayed there on our drive to the Amalfi Coast. The room was surprisingly large and hotel offered free parking. I would recommend this hotel for anyone doing road trip.

This is the BEST hotel in all of the Amalfi coast. Here are the highlights that I was surprised to find: The hotel is in the perfect location for swimming at the beach, catching a late night dinner, or catching the ferry. The pool is incredible, with incredible service, pool-side bar, dining options and a drop-dead gorgeous view of city and ocean. There is an elevator at ground level that will take you to check-in, the rooms, and the roof-top pool. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE and a perfect way to start the day including so many gluten-free and vegetarian options. The staff is so helpful, booking excursions, making phone calls, booking reservations, making your stay just perfect. This hotel is completely worth every euro, is so romantic and a dream.

Marina Riveriea We came to this hotel to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday and wow is all I can say. They managed to upgrade us to the master suite which was simply stunning. The room, the views, the decor, everything was amazing. They even went as far as to give us a complimentary bottle of champagne. We did feel very spoiled. Breakfast was simply delicious in the most breath taking surroundings. There was ample choice and attentive waiters. The pool is just what you need when it’s too hot and the bar service is very good- lots of choices of drinks and food. The views from the pool area can not be beaten. The location of this hotel is perfect- 5 mins walk to the main square. We loved every second of our time here. There is absolutely nothing to fault- from the staff, to the room to the food, everything was perfect. I hope to come back again one day.

What more could you really want? The hotel overlooks the sea just a few minutes stroll from the main part of the town, buses and ferries. The temptation is to stay at the hotel relaxing on the sun loungers by the rooftop pool and bar dropping into the pool when you need to cool down. Breakfasts were very good with a wide range of options. The staff were very obliging and polite. A nice touch was the complimentary bottle of wine in our room on arrival and the complimentary water wax evening. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout. Would we go to this hotel again? Like a shot, we didn’t really want to leave.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, because I love the location and I love the views. It is a perfect location for walking around in Amalfi and for views over the town - especially at sunset. The staff here are very nice, and very helpful in getting around the Amalfi Coast. Parking is relatively easy in a large parking lot that connects to the town through a tunnel. The breakfast at the hotel is superb and stacked with delicious snacks and fruits. The pool deck is lovely as well and I spent some time on the pool deck with a drink in hand overlooking the sunset.
