It’s the third time I’ve stayed there in the last four years or maybe more. This has to be the best time and I’m talking about the finer details all falling into place. My room wasn’t so much as the room it was more villa outside pool more of a plunge pool, but perfect for a couple of people. Incredible views of the vineyards a decent view of Mount Aetna, but most of all it’s the individuals that I see each time I’m there the food is amazing the selection of wine very impressive and overall if you want to go and hide away in the midst of organic wine production it is a very peaceful place to go. You can find nightlife there. There’s a wonderful bar and they make the most incredible the negroni - another bar situated in front of the swimming pool which quite frankly if you’re up early enough it is one of the greatest sunrises I’ve ever seen. It has a notoriously good sunrise person speaking. I don’t want the fuss and the high-end pampering that that isn’t genuine that you can find in other high-end establishments as far as I’m concerned though the setting the people the architect the simplicity and yet five star throughout you can’t go wrong one visit will bring you back enjoy yourselves I have tremendously - Max is not gonna spell spellcheck this or read it back again cause that way you know it’s definitely not ChatGPT ha ha

We arrived around 8PM straight off a set of flights from SFO and were exhausted. We were welcomed into the bar, a beautiful, cozy room, given food and drink, and checked in there, since reception had closed. We ended up spending a couple hours chatting with another couple, the place promotes making friends. Throughout our stay the food was terrific, breakfast on the lawn above the pool was amazing, including eggs from the farm's own chickens. The service was very friendly. Antonio offered us a tour of the wine cellar, which is actually built into an ancient well and not to be missed. Gabriela, the bartender, made a very good negroni and stayed to chat, as staff often do here. The property is spread out over many acres of vineyards and over 100 fruit trees. Our building was the furthest from the central building and restaurant so it was very quiet. They provide a golf cart to get you around on the very rough and often unpaved roads of the estate but it is a bit hair-raising as the roads are bumpy and the staff drive very fast. We ended up just driving our own car around, which was slightly better, given the narrow, bumpy roads. We got lost repeatedly, but that was part of the fun as we always eventually got to the place we were going. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves beauty, great food, and terrific people.

This place is absolutely stunning! From the setting, underneath Mount Etna, to the place itself which is immersed in vineyards and olive trees! The staff is very professional and ready to meet any of our needs. The food was great and all produced at Monaci. The villa we stayed was beautiful with amazing views, an infinity pool, very private and with a very original feature, it was built around some volcanic rock! And if that wasn’t enough, I was amazed to learn that Stanley Tucci, the actor I adore, stayed in the same villa!!! I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience.

The location of Monaci is simply stunning. The villas are spread out providing space and tranquility. The grassy pool area with the stunning vista is so special. Finally the food is amazing as is the restaurant space, and we were lucky enough to have a private cooking class with the head chef and guided tour through the gardens / cellar. We look forward to returning in the future.

The location is amazing, on the skirts of Mt. Etna, and all the facilities, from the pool to the restaurant in the old building are amazing. We were attended to in the friendliest way by the entire staff, including a private traditional Sicilian pasta making lesson; they were all great. The view is amazing, the food was outstanding, overall an unforgettable experience in all senses.

Great for three days to explore Mt. Aetna and Taormina. Rooms would be perfect with a curtain between shower and bedroom and switching silly grand sink for two individual sinks; leaving much needed space for toilet kits, etc. A fitness center would be welcomed as well a walking map to guide you on morning walks in the lovely country country side Overall these are small constructive criticisms to make this very comfortable boutique hotel a 10. Room 211 was spacious and had a great terrace.

Die Villa Neri liegt im Grünen, am Fuße des Vesuv. In einer sehr großzügigen und schön gepflegten Gartenanlage liegt die Villa Nerin mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die ein verwöhnter Gast gerne schätzt. Ein wunderbarer Pool mit Liegen, schirmen und einer Poolbar für Drinks und auch feine Mittagssnacks, welche sie im Schatten unter Oilvenbäumen geniesen können. Das Abendessen ist vom Feinsten! Alles ist sehr hochwertig eingerichtet und sauber gepflegt.

We loved Villa Neri so much and I can't wait to take my parents there. I am so glad I found this hotel. We were only there for one night but we made the absolute most of it. On check-in we were informed of all the optional activities and opted to do them all. The wine tasting at the property next door was incredible. The 90min exclusive use of the spa facilities was luxurious and relaxing. The staff at this hotel are incredible! I wish I had gotten everyones names so I could mention them here as they were so so lovely to us. We arrived really early in the day after booking their transfer from the airport and our room was ready for us when we arrived. We had a fantastic lunch by the pool, went for the local wine tasting, spent an hour in the spa and then had a really incredible dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was gorgeous - so many different food options to accomodate everyone as we sat outside in the sunshine watching Mount Etna. The whole experience was so fantastic. The staff were incredible - definitely the best part about our stay. We loved everything.

Mario, Mario and Paolo - three of the waiting staff get first mention for their delightful service and kind hospitality. The hotel is luxurious and has a lovely fine dining restaurant where even the occasional power cut doesn't disturb the experience. The grounds are small but well maintained the rooms are large, comfortable and have fittings that are in keeping with 5* in other countries. The front desk staff were a bit mixed. Nadia was excellent and very helpful. Gloria always seemed rushed, and this led to a few issues with restaurant bookings but all in all, nothing too concerning. The spa staff would benefit from a bit more skill in the linguistic department as it makes it challenging to discuss specific needs but they are skilled and created a nice but not 5-star spa experience. All in all, a wonderful stay if you want to get away from it all. Taormina looks close but it takes up an hour to get there so you have the hotel pool & spa, etna and the sleepy untouristy villages to keep you occupied if you get bored or hungry.

The property was very clean and well presented, the lodges very relaxing - we booked one with its own plunge pool and deck and this was heavenly for getting some proper rest and relaxation. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The food is very high end and a real taste experience.

This has truly been the best place we’ve ever stayed — a little piece of paradise hidden away from the noise of the city. From the street, you would never guess that climbing a small stairs would reveal such breathtaking beauty. The garden is like something out of a dream — beautifully maintained, full of fragrant flowers, palm trees, and lemon trees. The warm pool lights up in the evening along with the rest of the property, creating the most magical atmosphere. Inside, the Triskelion house, everything is tastefully designed and extremely comfortable, with attention to every detail. But what made this stay truly unforgettable were the hosts — so kind, generous, and genuinely warm-hearted. They welcomed us with a delicious spread of Sicilian treats, including Ena’s red wine and even a fully stocked fridge. Their hospitality truly touched us. You can tell this place was created with love and care. If I ever return to Sicily, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else — this experience left a lasting warmth in my heart. This villa is exceptional! The view is incredible. It is extremely private and very spacious. Alberto is a wonderful host and went out of his way to look after us - feeding us and fulfilling special requests. He also made excellent recommendations for our time in Sicily. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the hot tub was perfect. For our experience, this villa is a 10+. This house was extra difficult for us to leave! It was even a good surprise to have some workout equipment available in the home to use during the week. The location was easily accessible to Taormina and Mt. Etna - two must-see destinations close by. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough! We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Alberto!

Lovely villa outside the quiet town of Piedimonte Etneo. The villa has everything you need, from kitchen utensils to children's toys. Mario and Simona (the hosts) were very welcoming and made our stay perfect in every way; transport to the supermarket, travel advice, fruit from their large garden. If we ever return to to Catania we won't be looking for other places to stay!

The Villa was very spacious and easily suited the needs of 7 adults. Very well equipped and Simona was a fantastic host. Communication was excellent and extremely helpful. There is a terrific terrace with a view along the coast to Taormina and of Etna. There are 2 outside eating areas one facing east and one west. Piedmonte is on the doorstep and Taormina 25 minutes away. The Villa is a 10 minute drive up from the autostrada. A windy road but perfectly safe and easy enough to navigate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would recommend the Villa to any group. It was also very good value.

The location was excellent with stunning views over Taomina and the straights of Messina. There were several good restaurants nearby and the local wine inexpensive and good. We thought the villa was a little expensive but very comfortable.

This was a wonderful place to spend a week with a group of friends. The house is spacious with fantastic views of Etna and the sea from the garden or while relaxing by the pool. The kitchen and utility room were well-equipped so it felt like a home from home. In terms of location, there is a great bakery and a small grocery shop about 5 minutes' walk away. Maria was kind and helpful throughout and quick to respond if we had any questions. Thank you, Maria!

We all had a wonderful experience at Maria’s beautiful villa 😊😊 Plenty of room for everyone, very good beds and linens,well equipped kitchen ,nice outside pergola where we had all our breakfasts and diner!! Peaceful location, fantastic garden with pool, great view of Mount Etna. Easily accessible with car.

Beautiful property, with a lot of space. Fresh fruit and veggies were left on the table for us every morning and Marco was quick to answer any questions I had. The lights weren’t working the first night we were there and Marco accommodated us at a hotel nearby. It was very nice of him and didn’t take away from our stay at villa Tina - he was at the house the next morning at seven to get the problem fixed. We were back there by 11 in the morning.

Amazing place. Spacious indoor and outdoor . Fitted kitchen with an amazing garden . Great host always in contact and ready to offer some advice .

Marco made us feel extremely welcome even before we arrived - anticipating the sorts of things we might need for travel with young children. On various days throughout our stay we woke to baskets of eggs, oranges and lemons on the doorstep - a lovely touch which really added to the countryside vibe of the stay. The property is exceptionally clean and very well equipped.

What can I say about our stay at casa 11 geranio other then every single part of this trip was amazing we were met very late on arrival due to our plane been delayed and nothing was to much to ask we had fruit water and wine awaiting and they even got us a reservation at John lucas which again is well worth the visit amazing food and great house wine. Now back to the house it was beautiful truly stunning the pool was lovely and the view of etna just wonderful 😍 so I don't really know what else to say other then this is a pure gem ❤️

Property is fantastic! Beautful, clean and spacious with an amazing view of Mount Etna!! It was by far the most well equipped holiday home I've ever stayed at. They have everything you need from cooking equipment, towels, toiletries, and even inflatables for the pool! Best of all, the owners are lovely, professional, and incredibly hospitable! Will definitely come back!

The facilities were amazing with the pool, out side kitchen and bbq, very large indoor kitchen, with a full range and more of kitchenware, coffee percolator, massive individual fridge and freezer, multiple table and chairs in and outside a basement party room with pizza open, though this area smelt very damp and the kitchen area wasn't very nice, there was a gym with various equipement, sadly the running machine wouldnt work, but u could still use the weights machine and cycle machines, free weights etc,wine cellar with wine price list to purchase, table tennis table, utility area on the the roof terrace with again an eating area ,the jacuzzi on the roof wasn't working, but they had put a temporary one down by the pool for use, all the bedrooms were very spacious, downstairs bedrooms had onsuites and upstairs was 2 big bathrooms to share, extra toilets inside near the pool and on the roof terrace. We had a few issues with the pump cutting out on the pool, but the manager/owner was easily contactable and very quick to respond and get the problem sorted. All rooms had air-conditioning.

We loved our stay! We were a large group on a three generation family trip ages 16 to 80 touring from Taormina to Enna and needed accommodations that would appeal to everyone and allow easy access to our day trip destinations. The house was clean and comfortable with all modern conveniences and many bathrooms. Air conditioning was strong throughout. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals and the pool was a welcome pleasure at the end of each day. Salvo was a great host, very responsive and even arranged delivery of some provisions. The location is in a quiet small city and you will want a car to access conveniences. Parking is easy.

The facilities are amazing, we were amazed at the value for money! The owner was more than accommodating with all the messages about taxis and offered a fair price (compared to Uber) for taking us to and from the airport. The pool was great and there is so much seating for everyone to do their own thing as well as be as a group.

Amazing property, the pictures don't do justice. We were a big group so we booked the entire villa. We had the entire garden for ourselves which was amazing. The pool is big enough, rooms are all well-equipped. Stefania, our host, she was the best. We landed in Catania Airport and she provided us with the bus schedule to reach the bus station in Giardini Naxos. She came to the bus station to meet us and show us the way - there was a 20 minute walk. She took me by car to show the house and everything I needed and on the way to the house she was so nice to stop at a pastry to get a cake (we had some celebrations). She provided us with: restaurants to eat, where to party, what buses to take etc. As we traveled backpack only she provided us with beach towels for 1€ per towel which was great. There is a bus stop right on the main road (7 min walk from the property) where you can take the bus to Taormina. Bear in mind that it comes every one hour so you can check the schedule prior (in the bus station). The bus from the airport to Recanati station is 6€ and the bus from the accommodation to Taormina is 1,9€ and it takes 30 minutes. We had the flight early in the morning so we did not have any bus to get there, but Stefania provided us with a contact and they helped us with the transfer. The AC in one room was not working, but it was fixed the same day we informed Stefania about the issue. Any questions you have, Stefania will have an answer for you.

Villa Nadira is a super clean place with everything you need. There is lots of place in the yard so if you have kids you do not need to worry you have to park near some busy road and go further on foot. There's quite a big pool, deckchairs, big gazebo, barbecue and other things. Additionally you have a beautiful view on Etna from your balcony. Many restaurants would like to have such a view. Stefania - the host is the nicest person on Earth.

Stefania was great host, we felt very welcomed and had everything we needed, even more: coffee, grill, garden with swimming pool and playground for our daughter. We enjoyed so much we extended our stay. Room was big and clean, in quiet area, we slept so well with beautiful Etna view! Great cafes with pasticeria are in walking distance, also shops and the beach. Definitely recommended this place, we loved it and would come again!

Don't usually comment, but the person who was taking care of us was really really nice and understanding. My daughter and I really felt comfortable as she was empathetic. (Context: there was a train strike and plans changed a lot). Also, the place is very beautiful, green, there's a pool, chairs outside. I highly recommend staying here for more than one night and just chill.

The room is very clean and also big, it has all you need and also you can use the outside barbecue. The garden is very nice and green, you can spend some time there at the pool or under the trees when the sun is up.

We were fortunate to be the only visitors for 6 out of 8 days, which meant we had the pool and facilities for ourselves, which was amazing. Big apartment. Very big outside surroundings. Amazingly big and clean pool. Big terrasse with ocean view.

You will need a car to get to the house as it is in a remote, but georgous area, there is a good supermarket in 5 minutes drive. We had a great time there and would return anytime!

Primary living space would easily accomodate a big family or group, as there is a huge sofa, a large TV and a long table to seat 10+ persons. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances to cook family/group meals on-site. The four bedrooms are all relatively large with a comfortable double bed, air conditioning and ample storage in each. It is a gated property with secure parking for 3+ cars. Perfect location for excursions to Etna, Catania and Acireale.

The hotel is a lovely old converted winery and is situated in a very large Orange/Lemon orchard in the middle of the countryside. The hotel rooms and grounds are stunning, with nice views of the Volcano/Sea and the bar/restaurant are both excellent. Breakfast is a fabulous experience and is served outside on a lovely covered area with views out to the sea. The spa is small but is nicely designed and the staff do a good job. The swimming pool and poolside areas are quite nice, although the pool wasn't heated in April, so was VERY cold. The big negatives during our stay were that the food options at lunch are VERY limited and the poolside drinks/food service weren't available. In addition, the evening food options for dinner, apart from the Michelin star restaurant, aren't sufficient for a hotel of this calibre. In addition, the hotel rooms that face the nearby railway line (Whilst large and beautiful) suffer from too much noise from the trains that pass by. Lastly, if you want to take a taxi to the nearby town (Riposto) the taxi is VERY expensive for a 10m journey and the restaurant options are limited. All in all it's a very nice place, but has some limitations that impact overall experience a little too much which is a real shame.

Very nice boutique hotel. We stayed in the pool suite. The pool was very beautiful with great view of orchards and ocean. The sauna was very. Steam shower was not working properly and shower doors kept getting stuck to open. The room gets very hot because of orientation. A/C only works if you call the lobby the controls did not work in the room. Overall nice spaciouse rooms with minor details with the shower doors and A/C

This place is AMAZING. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is beautiful. We stayed 2 nights in private a garden sweet and 1 night in a room on the second floor of the casa with a private balcony. Both rooms were absolutely stunning. The pool area was amazing. The bar staff was very helpful. The restaraunt was fantastic. Great food and great service. We also called the reception to book us a tour of Mt Etna. And we had the best tour guide thanks to Zash. Onsite parking makes it easy to come and go if you bring your own vehicle. The spa is a wonderful place to relax. I highly recommend.

Wat een prachtige sfeer in deze citroengaard en in dit prachtige hotel. We hadden de Poolvilla met spa en turks bad, lekker achteraf gelegen, alle privacy. Elke dag werd er schoongemaakt door zeer hulpvaardige mensen. Het restaurent is inderdaad Michelin ster waardig, wat hebben we daar heerlijk gegeten. ook de roomservice en de lunch was prima voor elkaar hoewel ik vond dat er wel een iets uitgebreidere kaart mag zijn (bijvoorbeeld meer keuze wat betreft soep, antipasti oid), In de hotel villa had ik het prettig gevonden om meer stopcontacten te hebben bij het bed en bijvoorbeeld een USB -laadplek. Maar..., who is complaining in heaven....

A really stunning property; pool area, restaurant and the rooms are particular highlights. Didn't have time to try to spa but that looked amazing too. The staff (particularly Morinio (sp?) on the front desk) were incredibly friendly and helpful - couldn't do enough to help out. Expectations for the room were completely blown away by the reality - very appreciative of the upgrade to a suite in the gardens - beautifully designed and comfortable; instant relaxation. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The view from sea side room is amazing ! breakfast was good Flori helped us understand what was what in the menu ! The location is perfect in giardini naxos lots of restaurants in walking distance a good marketplace nearby, all our viator and get your guide operators picked us from hotel ! all in all we are grateful to Nautilus staff.

Staff took us to our room and explained everything when we checked in late in the evening. Despite only staying one night they offered/allowed us to leave our luggage and take an umbrella and some beach towels after checkout to the free beach across the road (water was calm, turquoise and clear with rock free spaces). We also utilised their service to book a small group boat tour at the last minute, which was well organised and a comparable price. The breakfast had so many sweet options we didn't know where to start and the restaurant they recommended nearby for dinner the previous night was decent. They called a taxi for us when ready to leave that arrived in no time, and all in all, the location in Giardini Naxos along the flat water front provides easy walking access to all there is to offer without impeding the view. A more relaxed and family friendly alternative to Taormina that has its own unique vibe.

I highly recommend a stay here. Giardini Naxos was not part of my original travel itinerary, but as a result of some things outside of my control, I ended up having an extra day in Taormina, but wanted to get away from the crowds as it was a cruise ship port day. I found that Giardini Naxos was very close and decided to book at Nautilus. The hotel is beautiful. Very clean, updated and had all amenities. Location is directly across from a public beach and walkable to many waterfront restaurants. Wonderful breakfast in the morning The best part about this hotel, though, was the staff. Friendly and all about ensuring the comfort of the guests. Rosanna, in particular, was unbelievably kind and conscientious. She made arrangements for me to have an early check in and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience in Giardini Naxos.

The hotel was in a great location with good access to both the public and private beaches. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. we were actually taken to our room personally, rather than told the number and floor (which we thought was a lovely touch) the owner was there every morning to say say hello and make sure all was ok with the guests. Breakfast was excellent with a varied and good selection of hot and cold savoury items and a vast selection of pastries and sweet. Coffee and juices were plentiful and all dietary requirements appeared to be catered for. There was seating both indoors and outside, which was clean and tidy at all times. Over all this hotel was spotless and we will have no problem returning in the not too distant future or recommending to friends and family

Absolutely beautiful family run hotel. The Nautilus is immaculate and everything is spot on. The rooms are lovely and modern. We booked a sea facing balcony which was great to sit in the mornings and watch the world go by. The owner is constantly checking everything is just so and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Special mention for Laura who was so helpful in booking trips or just there for a friendly chat. The breakfasts are really nice with everything you need and the dining room is spotless. There is also an outdoor terrace where you can eat. Highly recommend this hotel. The location of the Nautilus is perfect for buses and trains and in the quieter end of Giardini Naxos and only a 15 minute bus ride into Taormina which is stunning.

Our stay at Ramo d'Aria Etna Boutique Hotel was an absolute delight. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the hotel’s tasteful design, beautiful presentation, and its proximity to Mount Etna. Check-in was seamless, and we quickly made our way to the pool. The water was wonderfully warm, like stepping into a bath, and the pool itself was spacious with plenty of sun loungers for relaxation. One of the highlights was enjoying drinks by the pool while watching Mount Etna erupt in the distance – a truly unforgettable experience. Dinner that evening was equally impressive, with knowledgeable and attentive staff who expertly guided us through the menu and wine selections. The following morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in their stunning outdoor area, surrounded by the natural beauty of the setting. Ramo d'Aria exceeded our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the charm of Sicily with the grandeur of Etna as a backdrop.

The hotel has a beautiful design. Gorgeous pool area with plenty of loungers and a stunning view of Mount Etna. Nice spacious bedroom & bathroom. Quite simple in style. Excellent breakfast with a surprising & ever changing selection of home-made pastries, breads & cakes. Fantastic evening dining. High quality food & wine. Attentive wait staff. Good selection of delicious poolside lunch & snack options. The hotel also helped us arrange a hassle free excursion to Mount Etna. The view of Etna at night especially when it is erupting is just breath taking! We witnessed kilometer high lava fountains. The hotel has an on-site telescope which you can borrow and set up by the pool area to get a closer look. There is also a big local restaurant close by that served excellent pizza if you want an authentic Sicilian dining experience surrounded by locals. Great buzz!

The overall setting, the size of the rooms (and the bathtub), the pool... Everything was perfect! We traveled with 2 small kids (a 3 year old and a 3 month old baby), which can be quite stressful. Everyone at Ramo D'aria made sure everything was taken care of. Furthermore, the pool is heaven on earth for small kids (large shallow area) as well as for adults who get some time to relax on the large sunbeds with an aperol in their hands.

The hotel amidst the orange and lemon orchard is a true oasis and the most gentle staff takes care of every need. The restaurant serves delicious breakfast and dinner, lunch is available also at pool side. The active Etna could be seen puffing whilst we were relaxing at the pool. We were truly impressed by the host’s hospitality.

The property was just perfect for our family vacation. My only concern was that if you don’t have car then you have quite a stretch to reach the town of cefalu and buses only pass once an hour- but that has nothing to do with the property it’s self! The other slight problem for us (we had quite a particular case as my dad fell ill during our stay and had to be admitted to hospital) was that there is not a bathroom near the pool area. There are showers whichw was great and the owner was kind enough to let us stay and use the bathroom of the apartment till it was possible, other than that it was brilliant- thank you Boagio! We hope to come and stay there again in the future 🍻

Bed was fab, everything was good with us. Despite some little issues for an old building and a bit dated structure I have to say that everyone sorted out all of my issues and went above and beyond to make us feel. Comfortable. I am pregnant in this Moment and feel very sensitive to lights smells and tiny noises. The staff was so extremely kind and worried to fix anything was not at my standard. That is the thing I aorreviate the most. Thank you again to everyone. Even the director of the hotel gave us good reccomendattuons on where to eat nearby. The man working at the restaurant for breakfast made a good fresh cappuccino and there was plenty of choice, some good baked savoury cakes too!

My comments are for the 3rd floor suite. Other guests told us other rooms were small. 3rd floor suite was large with large and very usable bathroom. Also includes private outside dining area on the roof. If you are trying to decide whether to splurge for the suite, I would say it is worth it. Breakfast is mostly typical Italian but they do include eggs. Drinking water is not included. Hotel sells drinking water but you can get it at a supermarket down the street for half of hotel’s price. Town does not have a lot of attractions but it is easy to do day trips by train.

Stayed here for one night during our recent tour of Sicily. Great hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice with a balcony overlooking the small Piazza at the front of the hotel. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with toiletries and a good shower. Parking at a small car park at the hotel, which was very convenient. Easy walk to town. We ate in the hotel restaurant as we could not find anywhere open locally for dinner, which was nice, although not a great deal of choice. Good breakfast with a wide choice. Would recommend.

This hotel is one of a kind, first of all the staff are extremely caring, when we arrived the young girl at the front desk answered all our concerns and provided us also with a plug compatible with our country. the staff makes sure you feel like home. The rooms and hotel are very clean. we also liked the fresh breakfast also providing us gluten free bread and gluten and egg free biscuit. will for surely recommend and will visit again.

We loved the delicious ice-cream that was available at any time of the day :) The pool and surrounding area was beautiful and always scrupulously clean. We really liked the natural style of the pool too. The staff were outstanding - always helpful and friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them, especially Lorenzo and Elena and the lady at reception (didn't get her name sorry!).

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could have asked for. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I enjoyed peaceful, restful nights throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the stunning pool area. The pool itself was crystal clear, the perfect temperature, and large enough to enjoy a relaxing swim at any time of day.

We loved the pool, the comfort of the room and really friendly staff. Big parking, perfectly for travelling with rental car. The restaurant has limited dishes for dinner but they taste really good. Great cocktails and treats if you're staying in the pool. Loved our stay.

The property is a beautiful oasis in Riposto. It is modern with amazing features like the wall of windows in the dining area that open up completely. The finish is immaculate Antonio and his wife are justifiably proud of what they have achieved. The rooms are clean , spacious and beautifully finished. The bathroom is amazing and the shower is to die for. Most of the rooms either overlook the sea or the imposing Etna at the rear. The pool is unusual almost like a pond but equally good for swimming. It has a waterfall and jacuzzi facility. It was a joy to lie there and watch the swifts swoop down and sparrows and finches take a bath on the edge. The staff are truly amazing so friendly and helpful , nothing is too much trouble and someone is always available.

Modern hotel, spacious rooms, toilets and shower equipped with the best sanitary equipment, shower with spray facilities from all directions, modern furniture in the room, wide bed with orthopedic mattresses, incredibly clean rooms. The entrance to the hotel and the yard around it are cultivated with plants and amazing maintenance. A pleasant pool surrounded by green vegetation and palm trees, a captivating sight! The hotel staff is very kind, solves problems on the spot and is attentive to noteworthy customers. And above all, the conductor of the orchestra is the owner of the hotel, Antonio, who renovated, built and designed the hotel. Does not let go of any treatment until it is finished. The hotel owner Anatonio A man with a soul who sets a personal example for his employees and this is the secret of success!

The pool area is really nice and clean with lots of sun loungers and plenty of shade. Breakfast was good and varied with lots of fruit, pastries, eggs/bacon, yogurt/milk/cereal, ham/cheese, etc. The restaurant has a lunch and evening menu with nice food and very reasonably priced. We probably ate there for half of our meals (in between day trips etc.) and were happy every time. The restaurant is nicely located just next to the pool with some A/C (although can get a little hot when it hits 40C). The pool bar also has good priced drinks & ice cream all day. Location is peaceful away from the local village with great views of Etna. A great little place and we'd happily return.

We had a really great stay here! The location was lovely, although as many other people mentioned, having a car is kind of necessary. The restaurant was good and there were many options to choose from (also gluten free!) Breakfast was good, maybe compared to other hotels on the smaller side, but we were happy nonetheless. The drink menu at the bar was amazing and the bartender was awesome, he made us drinks at the inside bar that were only on the pool bar menu. All the staff was super friendly, when our flight was delayed, one staff member stayed longer to check us in. The swimming pool was really nice and we spent a few days fully at the pool and bar. The room and all the common spaces were always kept clean.

It was our second visit in this hotel, hotel is very clean, international breakfast are delicious. Hotel did some improvements from last year as new tiles around pool and pool bar. Restaurant has delicious good, onky we were limited as don’t like fish, very limited meals with chicken which we prefer. But other food we have tried was great. Hotel is away from town, car is a must. Beach is 10 min away by car. There was little bit of communication barrier as staffs in restaurant on lunch time don’t speak English, but they have spoken other languages. Anyway they are very kind

Not my first time, not my last. In ideal location, nice and calm area, very near to tourist and shopping hotspots. The amneties are great, nice pool and pool bar, restaurant, you park your car near the room, locked by a metal gate and not in the road, simply great.

A beautifully restored hotel, newly opened in an idealic position between Etna and the sea. We received a very warm welcome from the owner Salvo upon arrival, no hint of irritation at the late hour of our arrival, in fact, quite the opposite, he went out of his way to make sure we were " fed and watered" and this kindness went a long way to help us relax, after our terrible ordeal at the Car Hire office in Catania. The rooms are light, fresh and airy, with simple modern furniture and extremely comfortable. Some suites and rooms are set within the main villa and some by the pool. The first have better panoramic views and the later are perhaps, more convenient for the pool. All have some outdoor space and pretty areas of garden are abundant. The pool is a salt water infinity pool and has stunning views. The vibe of the place is chic, but low key, breakfast and lunches on the terrace are typically Sicilian and as with all areas of the hotel overseen by the extremely friendly staff. I think their web site under sells the place and this is part of the charm, it gently delivers so much more than you expect, especially from a service point of view, we left feeling like members of the family that would be welcomed back and that is the mark of a really great hotel.

We booked this accommodation very spontaneously and were very warmly welcomed. We had a lovely room next to the swimming pool. The whole property is absolutely gorgeous and very well looked after. The view in the garden and the swimming pool is directly to the Enta which is amazing. When we relaxed at the pool during the day there was a nice refreshment brought to us. We also loved the dinner with a great wine selection at the accommodation as well as the breakfast. There is so much variety and also some homemade delicious cakes, honey and jams. The staff and family (evening and morning) was absolutely friendly and we had a great chat in Italian which I really enjoyed. The only thing we would have wished for were more hooks in the room to put up some clothes.

In an industry always striving to find individuality and charm, but most often under delivering. Kepos is a great example of how to get it right. Everything is meticulously crafted under its owners eye. Well done Salvatore. We loved our ten days of peace and tranquility here. The lovely pool and perfect setting for sun worshipping made it difficult to leave. When we made a few excursions out, we were always happy to come back. Freshly prepared, honest, homemade food and lovely wines were on the menu. We preferred to eat here than the restaurant next door as the kitchen focused on good quality Sicilian ingredients. Our beautiful studio by the pool was clean, quiet and well equipped for our stay. The rooms tastefully decorated and spacious. We will be back.

If you want to relax, then this is the place you must visit! All the staff were superb - we had a flight delay and arrived late at the resort, but we found Andrea still waiting for us and surprisingly they gave us a room upgrade to a suite :) He's a charming person. Then there was Daniela who prepared the delicious breakfast every day and Gianvito who served us dinner at the restaurant and drinks by the pool. I'm a food lover and Chef Alessia was "grande" - all food was super delicious, and she does the best mojitos! The ladies in charge of housekeeping kept this place and rooms really clean. Pool and garden area are tranquil and very well kept. I will surely re-visit this place.

Truly lovely facility, with a AMAZING pool & spectacular view. We spent several days by the pool & also enjoyed the balcony by the restaurant on a rainy day too. The place feels very spacious - The rooms are really big & very tasteful. We also got a massage and I have to say it was the best I ever had. So much so that I had to ask straight after if she could massage my husband too! I didn't want him to miss out!

On top of that, the whole place is very charming, and the outdoor breakfast area shows how much attention to detail they put into everything. The spa is also a highlight, offering several different areas to enjoy. The staff were amazing and attentive, always very friendly and ready to help. I asked if they would do a cake for my partner’s birthday and they did. The food at the restaurant is delicious, and the hotel’s pool makes the place even more perfect.

We had a great stay. The rooms were spacious and beautifully kept, with a nice view. The pool was a real highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Spa was also nice. The location is ideal for visiting Mount Etna, with easy access and breathtaking scenery all around. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering excellent recommendations for local restaurants and tips on how best to experience Etna. Great breakfast. Free, but limited, parking spaces. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

There's a panoramic view of the local town where you dine for breakfast, its beautiful. And the breakfast buffet is spot on, with cereals, fruits, yoghurts, ham (hot and cold), cheeses and cooked eggs, pastries and juices. Its all you need. Spa is lovely - didn't matter that outside pools were closed as plenty to do inside. Lots of free parking on and off the premises. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Our rooms both had French doors that led out onto the garden which was a nice place to gather and have a drink in the evening. The hotel is situated next to a busy road and railway line but we did not notice any excessive noise. We ate in the restaurant a couple nights and would also recommend this. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate although the boiled egg cooker took some getting used to! Swimming pool area was nice and the pool although not heated was nice a the end of a day sightseeing.

Great hotel, lovely little pool, comfortable bed, wonderful tasty breakfast with lots of variety including the most amazing cassata & scrambled eggs. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. One staff member suggested the train into Catania rather than driving & kindly printed off the timetable then took us up to the staff gate so that we were closer to the railway station & we didn't have to walk all the way around up a steep hill, wonderful service, the train was great too, 11mins into Catania for €3.50 per person. They also let us stay by the pool after check out as we had a few hours until our next check in Ragusa, lovely. Thank you for having us.

The Santa Caterina is a lovely hotel but there is not a lot going on in Acireale. Use it as a base if you hire a car. There are virtually no trains or bus services and taxis are expensive. Acireale has no restaurants of note that we found so you'll be eating in the hotel most nights. Not a bad thing as the food was good. Service was a little erratic. We ate in the restaurant 4 times, twice we were served bread with our meal, twice they clean forgot. And when you ask for a glass of wine and a Sprite, you expect the latter to be served in a glass, not handed the can! When we asked for a glass and some ice, the waiter reached over to another table, took a glass from there, then fetched some ice from the bar which was brought to us in a bowl. We only needed a few ices cubes in a glass, not half a freezers worth!! Our stay was marred slightly on the last day. We were due to fly out of Sicily in the evening, so asked if we could use a room later in the day to freshen up i.e. spend the afternoon by the pool and then use a room for 30 minutes before we got a taxi to the airport, They refused our request stating the hotel was full, when quite clearly it wasn't. You could see 3 rows of keys lined up behind reception and no one checked into the room we had used. We had to take a cold shower by the pool and use the toilet to get changed. Simply not good service if you're claiming to be a 4 star hotel. You should not treat guests in that way for such a simple request.

We stayed for nine nights in June 2013. The service and facilities were great, and it has the best restaurant in Acireale - lots of locals in each evening as well as hotel guests. The food is superb, and reasonably priced. There is a lovely pool with plenty of shade and sun and the rooms have effective and quiet air conditioning. Our room had a fridge and safe. We chose to stay here rather than Taormina (for price and because it was a quieter location) and did not regret our decision. Acireale is a hidden gem, and surprisingly untouristy. The slight compromise is that the hotel is sandwiched between the railway line and a road. Neither are overly noisy or busy and if you live in a city you will barely notice them. We do, and didn't feel that our enjoyment was encroached upon at all. The town centre is 5-10 mins stroll away and the hotel towards the bottom of the hill. The incline is relatively gentle, apart from one short section, which is quite steep and would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. All in all, highly recommended.

The hotel location is a good base to explore Sicily although a hire car is recommended but this would be the case wherever you choose to stay. The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the sea and the dining area is stunning. The rooms are spacious, stylish and very clean. We had a very pleasant patio area for ourselves. The breakfasts are very good with a good selection of fruits, breads yoghurts, pastries etc and if you choose to stay for evening meals the food and wine is excellent. The hotel staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. We had a couple of issues with our hire car while we were there and they assisted us in any way they could. The pool area is also in a great position and is very clean and attractive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the area; in fact I would say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

Every room has a water front view and lovely balcony. The bus is ok if you like to wait but there were taxi’s outside continually who took us everywhere. The average charge to the marina was 15euros (this is an easy walk from the hotel along a garden with Greek ruins), Taormina was $25-35 depending on time of day and distance. The taxis are easy to call and quickly pick up. The grounds are well kept. Pool and poolside restaurant and bar are “here to help”. The beach is rocky and entrance is steep. Would definitely stay again

Group of friends and family went to Delta to celebrate a milestone birthday. The staff was incredibly helpful in arranging not just a wonderful dinner, but also helping us with planning excursions and generally being kind and fun and on top of our every need. The rooms are clean and comfortable (with amazing pillows!), while the pool is a delight and the staff at the pool bar and reception absolutely wonderful. High recommend.

Beach and pool was amazing! We never had dinner at the hotel but lunch by the pool bar was delicious and so was breakfast. Facilities were clean and beautiful. Delicious little restaurants across the street and a supermarket down the block. Loved it would definitely go back!

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff! Great location slightly out of Giardini Naxos,which suited us, and with plenty of good restaurants and cafes close by. Very handy for Recanati bus terminal which is just round the corner and ideal for buses to Taormina and beyond, also very efficient bus trip back to the airport which we took(1 hour) Beautiful pool and garden area with plenty of sun beds. Still early in the season so I don’t think all facilities were open yet and the beach area was having work done but that wasn’t a problem. Lovely room with side sea view-thank you to all the hardworking housekeeping staff who,looked after us so well. Lovely breakfast every morning with good selection and great cappuccino! Fantastic,friendly staff everywhere we went-particular mention to Valentina who,looked after us so well! She helped us with the buses and what to see locally,also organised a hiking trip to the north side of Mount Etna which was fantastic! Thank you Valentina and sorry we missed you when we left. Our first trip to Sicily and it was excellent. A great base to explore the eastern side of this fascinating island!

Really friendly and helpful owner/staff. It’s a great location for Giardini and is on the beach. It has good sound proofing so no issues with noise from the promenade. The rooms are high spec, clean and large. We had the cleaners come every day to the rooms and they brought crossings, toast & jam. Has good kitchen facilities. The swimming pool is indoors and there is a sauna. This was handy as it did get quite hot on the beach so kept the kids busy. I would not though it is fairly deep and kids can’t stand up so we had to be in the pool with them. We had a bit of a nightmare journey getting there (due to the airport fire at Catania which meant flying to the other side of the island and a 4 hour bus journey). I’ve ended up arriving around 2 am and they accommodate us, we’re really helpful in getting us in and doing the passport stuff the next day and they also have us a room upgrade to the sea view (which is a great view!) If you’re in Giardini Naxos I would stay here as during normal hours the airport bus stops right outside and you can also get other local buses or hop on/off buses right by the hotel too.

I was a little worried before arriving at these apartments as some of the reviews mentioned that they do not clean the rooms nor change the towels if you are staying under 7 nights however, we stayed 6 nights and our room was cleaned to a high standard every day, towels changed, lovely staff. Apartment room is great for 2 adults 2 children, one double bedroom and one pull out bed in living room. Cooking facilities are good, no oven but a decent hob and microwave. We cooked dinner at home most nights and enjoyed our meals on the balcony. Best thing about it all is the sea view. The sunrises and sunsets were breath-taking. Wonderful watching people on beach early morning. Close to main roads and motorways to get around. Lovely towns and villages to visit nearby. Had the best time, highly recommend. Pool isnt great, its deep and in a dark dingy room but with a great beach opposite, we never needed a pool!

The staff is outstanding !!! We stayed on the 5th floor. Amazing large balcony with an amazing view and a fun swinging love-seat. We had booked excursions on our own and the staff gave us a map and told us how to get there. They called taxis for us when needed and at times told us not to waste our money and advised us to walk or take the bus when it was quick. Location is so convenient. 10 Minute bus ride to Taormina and a 20 minute walk to the harbour where you can book dolphin watching boat tours and boat tours of Taormina. Booked last minute when a previous hotel cancelled our reservation. They were the happiest staff that gave us the warmest welcome. My kids loved the indoor pool that had a cute little water fall. The owner showed us how to make water come out of the lions mouth that was hanging on the wall. I loved the sauna too. Beach is right across the street. So close. To a of restaurants near by with awesome food. Arcadia restaurant next door was soooo good !

Wow what a way to start a vacation! This hotel is nestled in the seaside town of Naxos, near Taurmina, Sicily a very laid back, sweet town tht has obviously been a tourist hot spot. The hotel is literally on the water, with a private beach and swimming pool, in the shadow of Mount Etna. Absolutely stunningly clear waters, breezy sunshine and a very luxurious vibe. Our room had a view of the beach and the many calm, happy visitors staying there. A bar facing the pool, a grand entry space with 5 staff to assist with questions. Mornings come with a free breakfast spread. You name it its there - eggs, sausages, croissants, tarts, pastries ( all delicious) juices, cereals, coffee, fresh and cut fruit, and lovely view of the water. On a lazy little street with a few tourist shops, nice little restaurants offering Lemoncello Spritz, and all shops boasting lemons, lemons, lemons. Theres a bus stop about 2 blocks away to catch a ride into Tauromina - definitely worth seeing, and offering jump on, jump off buses to see the sites. Tauromina is loaded with shops and gelato spots and pizzeria places, and in Naxos ( about a mile walk away) there are restaurants offering fish dishes, gelato and views of the water. really exceptional hotel - the pool is wonderful, the beach is wonderful, and a lovely place to slide into contentment.

Very nice pool and the beach was beautiful. We enjoyed going to the beach in the mid and the pool in the afternoon.

This hotel was booked for us by our travel company and then I read the reviews. We started to get a bit concerned by the negative reviews but on our arrival we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was lovely, bright and airy, obviously some of the external could do with some maintenance but the inside was gorgeous. The staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was superb with a lovely walk in shower. Also tea and coffee facilities but fresh milk had to be obtained from the bar. The dining room was large and very bright but did get a bit noisy when full. I thought the breakfast had an adequate selection and our evening meal was plentiful with the staff very obliging if you had a food allergy. You must bear in mind that we are staying in a hotel in a foreign country so accept that things are not going to be the same as at home and why should the staff be expected to speak our language when we cant be bothered to lean theirs. The area is a bit remote but has a good selection of restaurants plus a short walk takes you to the port where there is more to choose from. My wife used the pool on a couple of occasions plus we were right on the beach for a dip in the sea or a walk.

The breakfast and the staff were amazing. The bedroom was huge. The bathroom was extremely clean upon entry. The aesthetic of the hotel was really nice. Think old Italian romantic. The swimming pool was nice and the sea front was great no complaints. Probably your best option if you were staying in this area.

Lovely hotel in probably the best location in Giardini Naxos, right beside the sea but slightly outside the main centre of the town. This location means that it is quiet and peaceful and also benefits from plentiful free parking. It seems that parking elsewhere in the town could be quite difficult, so this is an important consideration if you are planning to hire a car. There were several good restaurants very near the hotel, and it was a pleasant 5-10 minute walk along the seafront to the main centre of the town. Our room was clean and bright and had a balcony with an amazing view right over the sea. Even though it was very hot the week we stayed, the air conditioning kept us nice and cool. Breakfast was served on a terrace just beside the sea and with a great view of Etna in the distance. Breakfast itself was a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, pastries, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese. What really made our stay here special was the friendly and helpful owners who made us feel very welcome. This was our first visit to Sicily and we really enjoyed Giardini Naxos. The beach and the choice of restaurants were excellent and there is lots to see and do in the surrounding area.

Für ein 2 ** Hotel aussergewöhlich. Die Möbilierung der Zimmer in der Mansarde ist einfach, aber zweckmäßig und in guten Zustand. Die Betten fand ich super. Das ganze Haus ist aufgeräumt und sauber geputzt. Das Hotel wirkt sehr gepflegt. Unschlagbar ist die Frühstücksterrasse mit Blick aufs Meer! Die Inhaber und das Personal waren sehr freundlich und haben uns stets weitergeholfen. Einziges Manko während unseres Aufenthalts war, dass Jugendliche nachts vor dem Hotel sehr laut waren. Aber dafür kann die Hotelleitung natürlich nichts. Ich kann das Hotel allen empfehlen, die eine schöne Lage schätzen und eine familiäre Atmosphäre und dafür Abstriche beim Komfort in Kauf nehmen.

We loved our stay. Our hosts Rosa and Hamid were very kind to us and made our stay a wonderful experience. We were there during one of the worst storms in the last few years, huge waves, sadly some destruction to neighboring restaurants, but not to this hotel. We would stay there again.

Orpheus has a great position. Hotel owners great nothing too much trouble. We travelled in November so very quiet with lots of Giadini-Naxos closed for the winter. It suited us and we were very lucky with the weather and sea was still warm!

We stayed for just one night in October, and even though we didn’t get to enjoy the beach or pool, you could tell both were lovely, especially the large pool. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was good. We’d definitely come back in the summer!

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Palladio. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and care. This cozy hotel in front of the sea is the hotel we chose 3 years ago to spend our honey moon, by due to the covid as we live in China we couldn’t come until now, so first of all I want to thank the hotel management that extended the validity of our voucher for three years and everytime kindly replied to all our emails! We finally did it and we enjoyed a lot, room clean comfortable beds, amazing breakfast and dinner, perfect position to enjoy the sea and giardini numerous restaurants and bars, definitely will come back one day! The staff were amazing and made our stay incredible. Luana at reception organised a room upgrade (so grateful!!) and she gave us a lot of recommendations about where to go she was so accommodating and so kind I honestly can’t remember last time someone was so good at her job! Antonella from the breakfast team was also so good, so kind and so efficient she allowed us to keep some food in the fridge after check out and her hospitality skills were unbeatable! Also The property is right on the seafront and has amazing rooftop with great views where you can enjoy breakfast included and dinner - very good food!

We had a lovely view of the sea and the restaurant was on the roof with a fantastic view! the breakfast options were many. we also had one dinner there and the ingredients were super fresh… my friend had grilled fish and salad, made to perfection! i wasn’t feeling well, and they were sooo kind to make me something very simple… the staff was excellent and kind… taking the care to make sure we were happy… we also loved that it was quiet and away from the tourist scene of taormina..

The experience as a whole was fantastic! The staff at the hotel are amazing and went out of their way numerous times to ensure we had the best trip possible! The views from the room and breakfast are outstanding and the breakfast itself is great. Location is brilliant too as you're close to the touristy area of Taormina but just far enough for a cheap bus ride in and in the perfect area for authentic Sicily!

We had a fantastic holiday, family of 5 with kids aged 19, 16 and 12. We loved the olympic pool and the location on the private (pebbly) beach. There were always sunbeds available at the olympic pool. Inflatable toys were allowed in the pool. We didn't use the other pool so can't comment on that. The evening entertainment was very good, the hotel band was very good. There was a beach party on Mondays and Thursday that were very good. The beds were comfortable. We were able to have breakfast at the restaurant near the olympic pool as well as the main restaurant, and that was nice, much prettier quieter location. There is a nice square where the evening entertainment is so you can sit out and have a drink. There are a few shops in the resort. The resort is near Taormina which is really worth visiting.

Only given a 4 out of 5 but given the vast size of the resort is a very good score. Room was on the small size but very clean and large comfortable bed. However only one small carton of water provided during our 4 day stay. The grounds are large and very well maintained with several pool areas. We use the Olympic size pool as the other was a very busy family type pool. This area was great for sun bathing, but the pool is very deep I could only tip toe at one end for few feet and I’m 5’11” foot. The beach sunbeds were good however the beach is a gravel type so not our liking. Plenty of clubs for children and entertainment for adults to go to. Standard breakfast for euro customers offered which could be improved. Overall the area is good for restaurants also.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful well kept grounds. Well positioned for trips to Taormina, Syracuse or Etna. Easy access to the private beach, which was very pleasant for a late afternoon swim. There is an Olympic sized swimming pool which was amazing, plenty of sunbeds at any time of the day and a nice pool bar with very friendly staff. My partner and I stayed in the main building of the hotel and had a lovely view of the sea and Taormina in the distance. Very comfortable bed and proper shutters on the windows meant we got a great nights sleep. My sons stayed in one of the villas and there was a problem with their air con which meant they had to move rooms and the staff were not particularly quick to sort this out . We had to chase them up several times. We were half board and it was easy to swap the evening meal for lunch if you wished. The buffet offered a good choice of food and included water and wine with the meal. However my daughter is gluten free and there was very little labelling of allergens displayed on the dishes. At breakfast there were some individually prepacked Schar products but no fresh bread or toast available for her and in the evening only one choice of desert. We enjoyed the Olympus bar in the evening with its outside seating and extensive cocktail menu. Overall a very enjoyable holiday and I'd recommend this hotel for families or couples. There is also a good choice of restaurants very close to the hotel and a couple of supermarkets.

Visited in late June. The hotel is ideally situated for East/South Sicily trips You can stay half-board, all inclusive or B&B. We chose B&B as we prefer to visit restaurants in the evening but many guests used the hotel options. The hotel is a 35-minute walk from Naxos, which is more lively than Giardini Naxos. We ate there once and used the restaurants nearby for the rest of our weekly stay. The room was clean with fresh towels daily and excellent air conditioning. The bathroom was a little tired but otherwise no complaints. There is an Olympic size pool, and another is approx half its size. I enjoyed the fact that the sunbeds could not be reserved before pool opening. No rushing down. Well done to Unahotels. We didn't use the beach sunbeds for which there is a charge. We took the hotel shuttle bus to Taormina (again chargeable) but would recommend the public buses which leave from the square 10 mins away, which are of a very high quality (new) and run regularly. We used the local bus to visit Catania. Again, it's a good service. Be aware of the return tickets. We thought we'd bought an open return when, in fact, we were sold a fixed bus time return. We, along with another couple, had to pay twice. Etna summit is a must do of course. I would recommend the hotel. However, be aware it caters for families and couples so I suspect the atmosphere would change once the school hols start.

We had a fantastic week at UNAHOTELS Naxos Beach Sicilia. As a family of four, we had a double room in the main hotel (east-facing so we had the morning sun) and a twin room in one of the villas nearer to the beach. We stayed half board, so had breakfast and evening meals. The choice and quality of the food were excellent and good quality wines were included in the package we booked through TUI. The customer service was brilliant - everyone was so friendly and efficient and couldn’t do enough for us. Our double bed was very comfortable and we benefited from having air conditioning in the room. However, the soundproofing was inadequate and did lead to some disturbed nights. We spent many hours at the main 50m pool, where the water quality was excellent and in June we had uninterrupted swims, as it was never busy. It would have been good if this pool had opened earlier than 10am each day. We also played pickle ball, padel and used the gym, all of which were included in our overall cost. We paid extra for a snorkelling trip with Sea Spirit (based onsite), booked through the concierge; at 40 euros each, this was such good value for money. This was our first package holiday , booked through TUI, and exceeded expectations.

The hotel is really lovely. Our stay didn't start off very well as when we arrived there were 2 other very large families trying to check-in before us and only 1 receptionist. It took us over an hour to check in. Our check-in process in itself was quite efficient. Once we got to the room we could not switch on the light so we ask reception for help and they sent someone immediately. The rooms are clean, bright, have black-out curtains, a stocked minibar, a nice bathroom and space to work. bed is comfortable. The restaurant offers a very good dinner, with lots of choice, breakfast also offers a wide variety of choice. The pool is lovely and it's nice to spend some time there in the summer.

I recently had a delightful stay at Grand Hotel Villa Atria. The room was perfect, equipped with reliable WiFi and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The pool area was nice, providing a great place to relax. The breakfast was also nice, offering a good choice of options to start the day right. Additionally, the hotel offers ample parking, which was very convenient. Highly recommended!

The only issue we had was parking as they have alot of the local community using there pool in the day and functions at night and they parked coaches in the car park.

The room was spacious and very clean. The property and location were also great. The staff was pleasant. Didn't have an opportunity to try the dining room, lounge or the pool. It was great having breakfast available every morning. There was a lot of options, pastries, fresh fruit etc.

Overall the four night stay was pleasant with clean bedrooms but it was a bit outdated. A good balcony but the toilet didn’t have a window. Unfortunately the room didn’t have a kettle with tea and coffee. There is no iron available at the hotel which is a shame. Food - Breakfast buffet had lots of sweet and savoury options which were topped up regularly. Plenty of table space and reserved the table for the whole stay. Dinner set menu options made ordering easy and had a wide range of wine choices as well. Pool facilities - The outdoor pool was clean, had outdoor toilets and plenty of sun loungers for the group. The deep end of pool is 3.4m and shallow end 1.2m, not suitable for children. Atmosphere - I would not recommend young people stay at the hotel as it’s quiet and the town doesn’t have much to do either. It’s a very busy hotel but mainly retirement age people staying there on a package holiday. There were two weddings during the stay which the hotel could have explained during check in as there was loud music until 1am. Location - The hotel is close to other bars and restaurants which is great for lunchtime options. The beach is nearby, a supermarket is nearby and there’s a few shops within 10 min walk as well. The hotel is secure and has lots of gates as well as a safe in each hotel room.

The hotel is stylish with a lot of green and a nice garden full of flowers! The pool is amazing, quite big, clean and very deep (from 1.20m to 3.5m deep - take that into consideration when with small kids). We were there with our 3 year old son and he enjoyed it very much. The restaurant by the pool serves only pizzas and some snack-like food and works for few hours a day. The location of the hotel is great - few steps from a big nice sandy beach, and a lot of small bars and restaurants around , but have in mind that if you want to do some sightseeing you should have a car and than it is perfect : 15’ to Taormina old town , 45’ to Catania, 1h15 to Suracusa, 1h15’ to Etna… so that you can male morning sightseeing tpurs and in the late afternoon stil catch some pool time or beach time. Also a plus of this hotel is the breakfast - it is not the sweet italian type but there is a variety of food including eggs and cheese and salami, cereals, fresh fruit and offcourse a lot of sweets :)

Great breakfast, lovely pool and very well looked after building. Always plenty of beds by the pool and we felt very well looked after. All of the staff were lovely. There is a private beach with a small charge for sunbeds and parasols but lots of space and a lifeguard on duty so well worth it. It was quiet and very relaxing. The food by the pool was very good. A short walk to the closest restaurants , bus stop and wee supermarket. Good transport links. We would definitely return.

A truly wonderful experience with amazing staff who all had great advice for trips and restaurants. With only 15 rooms, the hotel felt intimate, romantic and very exclusive. The grounds were beautifully kept, the pool was fabulous and our room was both stylish and very classy. The shower was very good and we had a balcony were we could sit in the evening with a room service meal which was delicious. The main restaurant had a taster and a la carte menu which was also fantastic. I cannot recommend this enough, you will not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel - it's a bit old, but it was very nice. The lady at the reception, who completed my reservation, was amazing, shame I didn't catch her name. We had a room with a sea-view balcony, just above the restaurant, and we enjoyed our evenings there, just chilling. The room was big, with a mini fridge and a wardrobe. The pool was clean with chairs and umbrellas. Shame it was open only till 7 pm. It is next to the sea, so easy to get into the water if you don't mind the slippery rocks. I didn't have special shoes and was absolutely fine getting in and out. Really big parking - just outside the hotel. It was great as the area can get quite busy with limited spaces to park. Walking distance to the main beach - I highly recommend going there as it was much nicer than the other side. We had to leave for the airport early, and they accommodated us with an early breakfast - not a take-away bag, but opened the breakfast room where we could eat anything we actually wanted.

Bello il litorale roccioso fronte hotel e la possibilità di usufruire della piscina del hotel a fianco (stesso proprietario). Se devo fare una sola annotazione è sul servizio della collazione, a mio parere va molto meglio gestita e la qualità dei prodotti in alcuni casi era scadente, anche il personale in sala ha un atteggiamento poco propenso agli ospiti, ed a volte anche indisponenti su piccole richieste. Quindi per tutto quello che riguarda la stanza e la pulizia della medesima do un giudizio di molto buono, mentre la colazione e servizio camerieri non si arrivava neanche alla sufficienza.

Nice clean hotel, but the outside pool and sunbed area and the inside looks like it's not renovated on at least 30 years. That's the only negative. We really injoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The staff has been extremely helpful and accomodating. The building itself wasn't the most modern but it was clear that it was recently renovated and all the spaces were increadibly clean and functional. Me and my partner aren't big fans of rocky beaches but the way it was arranged at the hotel was so that you could enjoy the sea and sunbath in peace. It is a bit out of the noise and movida of the main beach, which we really enjoyed. The sea view is fantastic.

I hope this review reaches numerous people who'd like to dine looking up at;sleep on the side of...and wake up looking off their balcony straight at sulphur clouds billowing from the top of MOUNT ETNA.! I could wax lyrically about these three aspects alone but to wake to cyclists and motorcyclists returning from early morning ascents via the incredible winding roads, strewn with years worth of lava flows. Then to be met with friendly service from all the staff whilst breakfasting makes for a very pleasant start to your day. The room we had was very clean, spacious, cool ( during 40° heatwave) and comfortable. The staff and guests alike all seemed very cheerful. If in doubt?.......do! We loved it and will definitely return but with our motorbike next time!

This property was a great find for exploring Mount Etna. The room was basic but clean and soon soon felt like home after emptying your suitcase! Travelling with two teenage boys, we had a quadruple room and a view of Mount Etna from our balcony. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner on the roof top terrace and the food was excellent! We stayed for three nights and also ate at another excellent pizzeria 5 minutes walk away. Parking is limited but we always found a space opposite the hotel. This hotel is a great base for exploring Mount Etna.

Stille og rolig. god kvalitet på hotellet. Rafaello er meget gjestfri og imøtekommende. Milo er et hyggelig rustikk lite tettsted. Her kommer du tett på lokalbefolkningen. Ingen plagsomme turister som overfyller gatene. De kan lite engelse, så hyppig bruk av Google Translate er et must. Experia burdre informere om at avstander er oppgitt i luftlinje, og at området Milo (som består av hyggelige, jordnære italienere) mangler god kollektivtransport og taxi tjenester. Selv Uber er nesten steds fraværende. Her må man ha egen bil, både til og fra hotellet, men for å komme seg til strandene og for å komme seg på butikker

The staff were so friendly, helpful and relaxed. We planned to be earlier but got distracted enroute. This was not a problem as we kept intouch via text. The meal was wonderful and local wine just lovely. Kids were made so welcome! Our son is called Milo, so he was particularly excited! The terrace on the roof for our drinks and dinner, with view of Etna was superb ... Our room also had Etna view. Good to chat with other guest as we all shared volcano interests!

A modern and comfortable hotel with great views of Mount Etna in some of the rooms. A quick drive or 10 minute walk to the town centre of Milo, where there are restaurants, cafes and shops. There is limited parking out the front of the hotel but we were lucky and parked opposite the hotel. The staff were friendly and offer a special price at the on-site restaurant/wine bar. We paid a last minute discounted rate so it was great value for money.

Our apartment was beautifully clean and tidy on arrival, comfortable, well equipped, and, being air conditioned, was cool when we needed to escape the midday sun! Despite a late arrival, we were given an informative welcome and tour of our accommodation as well as important info about the pool, etc! We particularly loved our balcony overlooking the pool and affording superb views of Mount Etna. The pool and grounds were exceptionally clean and well presented. Our request to stay after the agreed checkout time was quickly agreed upon, allowing us to make the most of our last day before returning to the airport. Queries sent before our arrival were swiftly answered. Thank you, we would happily recommend Villa Galati and would love a return visit!

The large terrace/balcony on the first floor and the pool. All so clean and well cared for. The mature olive trees and palm trees around the pool provides perfect mottled shade when needed during the day. Imaclately clean. Just right

Spotless apartment, nicely refurbished with new furniture. Great, clean, large pool. The apartment is very close to the beach. And of course, the breathtaking Etna view from our large terrace. The garden is very nice with olive and lemon trees. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed for home cooking. We were allowed to pick some lemons from the trees, which was very nice, the kids loved it, and the fruit was delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would gladly come again.

The accommodation is exactly as pictured. We had a wonderful stay here, the hosts were kind and helpful in every way. Clean and tidy everywhere inside the enclosed area. The parking is secure and enclosed. Rooms are clean, facilities are ok for self catering. The pool is fantastic. A few minutes walk to shops, cafes, restaurants. You can have a perfect view to Etna every morning. We can only recommend.

After traveling the whole of Sicily over two weeks, my wife and I finished off our stay in the quiet town of Zafferana Etna near Catania, and easy access to the airport. After the crowds and chaos of Taormina, Cefalu, Ortigia and Palermo, our stay at the Hotel Primavera was wonderfully calm. The location on the eastern slope of Etna gave us an amazing view of the Ionian Sea. The staff was wonderful and attended to our every need, even packing us to-go meals as we missed breakfast because of an early flight! And the hotel restaurant was a gem, with outstanding meals each night we dined. I highly recommend a stay at the Hotel Primavera Dell'Etna. Not only is it easy on the wallet (look for online booking deals!) but the views and food made the stay memorable. Goditi il tuo soggiorno!

Best location for exploring the volcano and its surrounding villages. Quick and friendly check-in, lovely dining experience, all while admiring the best views possible. Catania sprawling out under your feet in all its splendor. Free parking is available right outside the property, and rooms and facilities instill the feeling of a 4 star rather than a 3 star hotel. Highly recommended in all and every way.

We had a room with a view. In the morning it was so beautiful the sun coming up and the building shining like stars with the dew. The bed was big and comftable and the bathroom was spacious. We will be back for sure. The breakfast was very good and they have a terrace for summer

Sea view with balcony are the nicest. Rear rooms are same layout but no balcony or view. Biggest bug bear was that there was no water in the pool at all when we were there. There is access to the sea over some rocks but the steps down were in v poor state of repair. Expect pool would be open in Summer but was not in April. Easyjet holidays, who we had booked package with, did not want to know when I contacted them to ask about lack of pool. Their online brochure advertises this hotel’s pool and how you can swim in it; at the bottom of page is a seasonal disclaimer. It is the disclaimer that they rely on to deny you the promised swimming. Breakfast was bearable and staff were pleasant. There was a reasonably priced three course dinner available if you wanted but we eat out each day.

Beautiful hotel and amazing daily breakfast. Our room looked out onto a deserted and dirty lawn/pool but the main hotel's pool area is gorgeous.

We stayed in this fantastic hotel for two weeks in July and could not have enjoyed it more. A beautiful hotel with amazing views. The salt water pool and access to the sea from the rocks just beyond. I noticed a lot of people commenting on how the place needs updating but I think they are missing the point as the place is full of interesting antiquities and is full of the history of the island. All the staff, were out of this world whether on reception, housekeeping or in the restaurant, all were helpful, caring and went out of their way to make you feel at home. the hotel is in a quiet area about a fifteen minute walk from the beaches, harbor, shops and restaurants we were able to get the bus into Catania and Taormina, and could also get a bus to the train station to go to Messina. The receptionist was also on hand to book excursions for us to Etna, Syracuse and a boat trip around the coast. I would highly recommend this Hotel to visit the beautiful island of Sicily, and hope to return again in the near future. Thank you to the incredible staff at the Hotel Arathena Rocks for making our stay so memorable.

Our first trip to Sicily but hopefully not our last. Arathena Rocks has very spacious rooms, great air conditioning and all the amenities you need. There is a pool, garden area, restaurant and bar and plenty of peaceful areas just to sit and admire the seaside view. As others have mentioned, the decor could do with an update but I thought that added to the overall charm. We felt like we were guests at a grand manor (from the 70s maybe!) but the prices were reasonable and the staff were lovely. Many restaurants and shops in the area, close to everything you need and literally right on the water. Would definitely recommend to others and would love to return one day.

We had a great time! The room was clean, not quite like a more luxurious hotel but definitely clean enough! AC worked well but was a bit loud. Staff was very friendly and professional. Amazing balcony!! The decor was amazing, so many pieces of cool aged furniture, really lifted the experience for us. Pool is nice, but note that it is salt water. OK snorkling opportunities in the sea outside the hotel (stairs from lava rock). The hotel was located in a quiet area a short walk from the beach and the center of town, although the walk was a bit exhausting when the temperature was 35 degrees Celcius.

Breakfast was ok. Limited choice. Nothing special. It's all about the location. Literally 3 min walk onto the beach and the main strip with plenty of bars and restaurants. If you're looking for a quiet hotel then this one may not meet your requirements as it's positioned on a busy street corner. However if you require a base to go touring and not a hotel with a pool, then this one is great. Free wifi works in all areas of the hotel including the room we were in. Bus stop is a walk away. Hop on tour bus stop is very close too.

We stayed recently and as others have stated the hotel is bright and clean . Rooms are basic but perfectly acceptable and well maintained. As others have said it can be a little noisy but this is the price you pay for being in the centre of town and close to the beach The management have obviously borne this in mind as both sets of doors to our balcony were double glazed. I sleep well but am sensitive to noise whilst drifting off but had no trouble to be honest. The hotel is cozy and has the air of a family run establishment but managed very professionally. The staff were very helpful and polite and given it was October and at the end of the season they could be forgiven for being a little tired but if they were they never let this show. The rates very reasonable and allowed a family of 5 to stay for a week without facing bankruptcy Thanks for all the tea Louisa !

My husband and I have stayed in Villa Nefele many times over the last 10 years and for us this is the only hotel to stay in in Giardini. The staff have looked after us every time we stay. In 2014 we got married in Giardini and they looked after us and our family so brilliantly. They found out that we were getting married and sent gifts to our room and well wishes......they couldn't do enough for us. The reception area was a regular meeting point for uswhich had a great atmosphere, fantastic relaxed feel where we felt welcomed and planned our time in Giardini. Would recommend Villa Nefele every time to anyone. We have also stayed in other hotels in Giardini but they can't match Villa Nefele.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Nefele in July 2014 for just under 3 weeks. We booked the hotel for ourselves and 15 guests for our wedding and could not have asked for anything more from the hotel. They looked after us and our guests really well and we are all looking forward to coming back for another stay in 2015! We have been to the hotel about 14 times now and really like it's simplicity, affordability, location and friendly team. The hotel has been refurbished and is very good and the breakfast buffet is a great start to the day! Thank you again Vila Nefele for looking after us so well. Hope to see you all soon! The view was gorgeous, from our balcony we could see the beach and the mountain to Taormina. The rooms were spotless and spacious, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was really good, although limited. However, what was provided was really good considering affordability. WiFi was fairly good as well; we never had any problems apart from it being slow at times. The receptionists were always very helpful; we needed a lot of help regarding transport throughout our entire holiday, and they were always happy to help. All in all it is the perfect hotel to stay at when you're on a budget (even if you're not), and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone!

It's a very quirky hotel, overlooked by the brooding volcano behind. The atmosphere owes a lot to the history of the site, upcycling and exhibiting machinery and objects used there. There are a variety of room types, and we were in a ground floor room by the pool. The breakfast was continental supplemented by local produce and bakeries, especially the home made jams and yogurts! The pool area was clean and well kept. Plenty of sunbeds and a covered lounge area, with an afternoon pool bar. Giarre itself is a 20 minute walk with a good rail link. The local village is unremarkable with few bars and eateries. It was a good location as a base for exploring Etna and surrounding locations. Having a car or driver, or being part of a travelling group adds to the value of this gem of a hotel.

Stayed here for two nights to visit Etna. Lovely old manor house with good pool area and views of Etna. Organised day trip, thorough the hotel, to Etna with Etna Trouvatura and had a brilliant day. Enjoyed the pool. Not sure it is the kind of place to stay in for a week though as nowhere to wander out for a meal, apart from the lovely restaurant next door. If you book, ask for a room with a pool view- they also have a little seating area outside where you can sit in the evening, and look towards Etna.

Hotel Etna is a perfect base to explore the eastern side of Sicily with the slightly northern town of Taormina's castle ruins, delicate streets and spectacular views within a 10 minute car ride, with easy parking costing just a couple of euro's. Further south from Giarre, around a 30 minute drive is the town of Siracusa which makes for a brilliant day out! For ten euro's per adult (and free parking!!), you gain entry to wander around old ampitheatre's and ruins, fountains and lush gardens with small stalls around selling tourist bits. The town of Giarre itself has small cobbled streets with a random selection of shopping, good for half a day out followed by relaxing at the hotel pool, which has spectacular views (and sounds) of Mount Etna. The hotel was perfect as well, large clean rooms with large bathrooms and a fully stocked fridge every day (the prices for drinks match those of the nearby garage). Breakfast was always very fresh with italian coffee made to order. The pool had plenty of sun loungers, and a lovely shaded area to eat lunch (Id recommend the hotels "Piadina" for lunch!) Dinner at the hotels restaurant was slightly on the expensive side but was well worth it due to how fresh and well cooked it all was. Did take some time for the food to arrive but if you want quality, you have to wait for it to be cooked. The staff couldnt do enough for you and Id recommend the Etna tour as the guide was brilliant! Definately stay at the Hotel Etna!!!

This hotel was pure perfection. 3 kid, my wife and I, were there for 10 days in July 2025. The hotel is visually beautiful, the pool was so clean and well kept. The service for dinners was high end restaurant style and the staff were amazing. From reception staff who go above and beyond for any requests you have, to the cleaners who work hard, do an amazing job and always have a smile and a "bonjourno" in the passing. Last but not least, the taxi service they call for you were also amazing. Father and 2 sons run one 7 seater taxi, and we ended up using them daily via their personal WhatsApp. 2 of our kids have slight autism and struggle with noisy crowds. This hotel doesn't have a huge amount of rooms. So the numbers were low and the type of guests were respectable and easy going people. It made a big difference for us around the pool and obviously through the night for sleeping. To top it all off, we had a famous volcano as a backdrop. We loved you, Etna Hotel, and we will be back.

Hotel Etna is a lovely oasis in the middle of 'sort of nowhere'. I chose the hotel because it wasn't in a touristy area but I didn't realise just how bad the public transport in Sicily was going to be. Nor how expensive taxis are. I felt rather frustrated and trapped half of the time because I couldn't just hop on a bus/train. If I had my time again I would definitely hire a car. Some reviews have mentioned a bad breakfast / restaurant experience but don't listen to them - Hotel Etna breakfast has a wonderful variety of fresh food. And the adjoining restaurant is lovely and relaxed with a good menu and wine list. The swordfish with almond crust was particularly good. I found the hotel room very comfortable and clean and wi-fi was a huge bonus - esp as I was at war with British Airways for losing my luggage, so being online, for free, was a huge relief. Finally, the pool area was well maintained and the pool itself clean despite the many children and amount of sunscreen no doubt that ends up in it.

We loved this b and b. You will need a hire car as its out of the way from the main tourist areas and not in Taormina but around 15 mins drive away and 6 minutes down to the beach at Giardini Naxios with its bars and cafes. Sicily in Love is just a few minutes from the motorway so easy to get to and to get around. At the bottom of the hill are local shops and pizza places. If you need to buy an Italian adaptor (they are different to the EU ones), then the ARD supermarket sells them for a couple of euro. We didn't have one but Paula, the lovely owner, lent us one. In hindsight we should have bought a couple which would have stopped the daily fight to charge devices..Now to the apartment itself - we had a one bedroom plus living room with sofa bed and kitchenette. The wifi was excellent which made my teenager very happy (and gave me a little peace after dragging him around the sites all day)..TV was large and had cable channels (only English is the usual news channels plus horse TV - who knew?)..the beds were large and comfortable and the rooms were large and modern with a/c and heating units in each room. Breakfast was typical continental with a lot on offer and the personal touch of Paula...The local area was a little noisy but this is Sicily after all. There is secure parking on site. All in all, a lovely B and B and, for the price, is highly recommended.

Paola!!! We had an amazing time at Paola’s B and B Sicily in love. It was a lovely clean room and bathroom. It’s about 15 min outside of Taormina. You need a car to get to this B and B but it’s worth it. In order to get into the center of Taormina you have to go up the mountain and there are several hairpin turns, people park wherever they want to and parking is impossible and or very expensive. I also felt a little trapped when on top of Taormina so staying here was much better for us. Paola had ample parking for all the rooms at the B and B for free. The driveway is steep but you can drive down and turn around so there’s no problem. Each morning she made us a delicious breakfast including a zucchini frittata, homemade marmalades, coffee, juice, yogurt and homemade orange cake. Breakfast is served in a cute little enclosed outdoor area, it was chilly in the morning and she had an outdoor heater, which was most appreciated. We communicated mostly in Italian with the help of google translate. She is very kind and pleasant. Our rooms were serviced each day, fresh new towels and soaps given. The shared kitchen was stocked with pots pans fridge freezer utensils dishes etc. Outside the downstairs rooms there is a cute outdoor seating area with a view of Mt. Etna. There is a grocery store near by and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Paola can book Godfather and Etna Tours. Highly recommend staying here!

Parking onsite. The rooms were large and bathrooms just as large. A small verandah where you can sit and enjoy a wine. The room was very clean and tidy and ours had a small kitchenette hidden in the cupboard with all the cooking utensils Good breakfast with cereal. Breads, sweet cakes, coffee and tea. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Pillows. All the places we have visited in Italy, the pillows need upgrading. Same here. Easy 10 minute drive to the coast. Great pizza restaurant 10 minutes walk with a very good local house red. Cheap too Definitely recommend this b&b

I reviewed many you tube videos on packing for Sicily in October, forget them they are woefully incorrect. Everyone wears sneakers, Italians are still wearing white and yes they wear flip flops. Women were in shorts, tank tops and sun dresses as well as jeans. Casual attire in the most expensive restaurants in Taormina was the norm. We traveled all around Sicily from Palermo to Taormina to hill towns in Gangi. My advice wear what is comfortable for you and be respectful and polite, you will have a fabulous time.

One of the best B&B I've stayed in. The host was very helpful even though we had to use a translator to speak to one another. It is off the beaten path so would be difficult to get to without the use of a car. Down the hill is an amazing chicken roastery place that I highly recommend. Easy access to nearby tourist locations and all together I'd highly recommend. Modern accommodations and well worth the costs.

My wife and I are from Thunder Bay ( Marisa and Frank) and spent 2 days here with friends from Toronto in July of 2017. The hotel is in a good location convenient for the beach and plenty of restaurants in the area. The room was a good size and is extremely clean, and was kept clean throughout our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. They offered a good continental selection for breakfast which was more than adequate. The location is easy to get to with the bus stop very close to the Hotel and only 10 minutes from the train station. Location is also is exceptional for easy access to the private beach, which is just across the street for a relaxing day in the sun. If you wish to enjoy a great dinner, we recommend Lido da Angelo Giardini Naxos right across the street from the hotel, in front of the bus stop, Great service and beautiful sea views , the food is not only inexpensive but tasty and large portions, they specialize in fish dishes, with authentic Sicilian cuisine. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel San Giovanni.

When you travel to Sicily you look forward to amazing architecture, history, culture, cuisine, beaches, nature, fashion, dolce vita. But at the end of the day, when you return to your accomodation tired , yet happy, it is important that you are being welcomed. We stayed in superior double room, which was nicely decorated with lot of love. Spacious double-room with big and comfy bed, lovely details, big terrace to enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine. San Giovanni hosts are amazing people, who take good care of their guests, a big THANK YOU to lovely ladies who took care that our room is always super clean and smell like strawberries , to amazing lady who served breakfast and made sure everything is fresh and tasty, to super helpful and communicative gentleman in the night reception who helped us with advices and made us feel safe and welcomed. Beach is just couple meters away, great restaurants in the vicinity, direct connection with Taormina and Catania Airport just steps away. We had a wonderful time and vacation in this hotel and we highly recommend it to all. Thank you making our stay amazing!

Vi besøkte hotellet i juli 2024. Bodde på rom for 3, nr. 301. Veldig fint rom og gode senger (standarden i Italia er jo noe lavere enn i andre land). Hyggelig betjening, god mottakelse og oppfølging fra de ansatte, spesielt Thomas Massimo. Hotellet har fin beliggenhet, kun 50 meter fra den private stranden. Det er også 50 meter til bussholdeplassen hvor bussen til Taormina stopper. Gode restauranter i gangavstand. Lørdag var det karaokekveld som vi kunne nyte fra terassen ut mot gaten og torget foran den lokale kirken. Typisk italiensk frokost med søtsaker, toast, rundstykker og litt pålegg. Alt i alt et flott opphold og en fin opplevelse. På hotellet får man billett til den private stranden. Betaler man får flere dager er man sikret faste plasser. Velg gjerne senger til høyre på stranden om man ønsker å ligge lenge. Solen forsvinner rundt kl 16/17. Vi er fornøyde med å ha bodd nær stranden og heller reise til Taormina på kvelden. Litt knotete hvis man velger det motsatte. Takk for en flott opplevelse! Vi kommer gjerne tilbake🤗

Отель абсолютно удобен для отдыха. Уютные и чистые номера, у самого моря, на пляже которого есть WiFi. Доброжелательный персонал отеля настроен на решение любых вопросов, возникающих во время вашего отдыха. Автобусные остановки и в сторону Таормины, и в сторону Аэропорта в 100 метрах от отеля, что очень удобно. У отеля есть собственная платная парковка в трёх минутах ходьбы, но можно припарковаться и на улице. Недалеко местные продуктовые магазинчики, самый ближний из них- винотека с большущим выбором, возможностью как продегустировать напиток, так и устроить ужин прямо там. Завтрак по-сицилийски скромен, но голодным никогда не уйдёте- и фрукты, и овощи и нарезка- все присутствует. А какая выпечка... Из минусов отмечу единственный- слабый WiFi в номере. Видимо зависит от расположения номера, поскольку на остальной территории отеля все работало отлично.

I enjoyed this hotel. I wish there was parking but the hotel accomodated me for my stay which was very nice of them. The hotel is perfectly located in Giardini and is a 15 euro taxi to Taormina from the Naxos train station and a 20 euro taxi return from Excelsior Hotel in Taormina. I enjoyed all the shops and tons of free beach space and lidos. Next time, bring ear plugs because it is on the main road heading out of town and the traffic never stops. The breakfast and staff were wonderful. Take cash... credit card machines are always down in Sicily. I would stay again. We had a room with a balcony that offered a wonderful view of the ocean.

The location is perfect, close to the bus stop that goes to Catania or Taormina, and central, where the best restaurants are. The room is big enough and very clean. But the balcony/terrace was simply amazing. Sunbeds were provided for the terrace, together with a table and chairs for perfect dinner/snack with a view over the sea and Taormina. Even though is not very clear from the pictures of the hotel the terrace does have plenty of privacy, as the iron fance has some plastic walls between room so you won't be bothered by neighbours and can have that wonderful sunrise all for yourself. The breakfast was really good as well, with super fresh croissants. Highly recommend it!

Fantastic place, we loved it, and definitely recommend. Perfect location, in the center, 50 meters from good beaches. View from the balcony is terrific : sea view + Taormina view (wonderful 24/7). Hotel has great restaurant (4.5 raiting) + guests have 10% discount there. Spacious clean room,cleaned daily. Great comms with the owners. We could check in one hour earlier + got directions to a spacious free parking 4 min walk from the hotel. Good breakfast with coffee from barista. Airco not blowing at anyone's head. And Giardini Naxos is a very cosy place very strategically located. All above less than 100 per night for 3 people.

Wow! We were upgraded to Superior rooms that had a huge terrace that overlooked the beach with absolutely stunning views of the sea, the coastline and the city of Taormina on the hills. It was literally like living in a postcard. The staff was superbly helpful, friendly, and courteous. The hotel restaurant had exceptional meals and the property is close to anything and everything a tourist could want or ask for. In fact, the entire Giardini Naxos area around the hotel was exceptionally clean and fun. Overall, this was an incredible experience and a great value for the money.

Un bon hotel, avec une belle chambre familiale, deux salles de bains, un coin kitchenette. L'hôtel est propre à moins d'une minute de la plage. Le petit dejeuner également bien. Le seul point negatif c'est la vue sur des terrains de tennis désaffectés, mais qui n'appartiennent pas à l'hôtel au loin la vue sur l'Etna.

I loved my stay at Villa Linda! It was a comfortable, convenient location with a really nice staff. Everyone was wonderful. It was walking distance to good restaurants and easy to get to Taormina (and beyond) with public transport. Etna was erupting when I stayed and I had an incredible view of it from my balcony.

Beautiful stay here, nice and quiet after the craziness of Taormina! Very close to a beach, supermarket and a few restaurants. A big shout out to The main breakfast lady, i think her name was Michelle she was so welcoming and friendly. All the atuff we nice but she wenr above for everyone.

Abbiamo usufruito del servizio bar per l'aperitivo, ottimo. Colazione varia con prodotti freschi, la ragazza in servizio davvero carina e disponibile. Siamo stati davvero bene nonostante abbiamo pernottato una sola notte.

Small hotel with friendly helpful staff. Restaurant was very nice and rooms comfortable and clean. The only downside would be location. railway station was not close enough,and having to walk there in the heat was very hard. Taxi service does not exist so when you need one hotel organises one with a hefty price.

This is very small, nice hotel, maybe 20 minutes of a pleasant walk near the sea from Giardini Naxos. It shares the pool, restaurant and the beach with Nike hotel, which is a good thing because pool, though small is filled with sea water that gets warm during the day and feels awesome! Beach is nice, for swimmers only to be honest, because it's slippery and has lots of rocks. What I found bad are the ladders that go into water, they are quite sharp, so I cut pretty badly my foot while getting out of the water. I think they should repair that before someone else gets hurt. The rooms are clean and just fine for a small hotel. I got one of the not so great rooms, where fridge didn't work but they immediately replace it, and AC was so noisy I had to ask them to shut it down. TV had issues and I got new one 2 days before my last day but ok. It's still a nice room, pretty spacy for such small hotel. Receptionists are ok people, they will help you if you need help. No one in Italy was particularly kind to me so I didn't expect more that professionalism and that's fine with me. In general, small, cozy hotel, with nice pool and beach, small choice of decent meals, with free coffee and juice in the morning and decent prices for drinks in the evening. I have nice memories, although I have to say: "repair the ladder! Downside of ladder is sharp as knife!"

This hotel has huge potential. I must have been grand in its day. Sadly it needs lots of TLC but having said that we had a really good stay here. The hotel pool has been drained but guest are able to use the pool at the hotel next door a short walk away. We swam in the sea in a beautiful bay and really enjoyed it.

We like Italy, thought we'd try Sicily. Really enjoyed ourselves, 10 nights at the Kalos hotel, room 309 which we thought the best room there, for the view and the breeze. Free room safe, free TV, free a/c. Free WiFi, (we used the WiFi of the next door hotel as well) Tap water seemed ok to drink but I drink bottled water anyway Staff all very good and multi tasked, rooms done daily and towels changed. We did a few trips, all well priced, which the hotel rang up and arranged for us. Pickup points were all nearby. We were on half board, food was tasty and enough of it. I think we were there just at the beginning of the season but there were no problem with sunbed numbers. Sea, which you can access right in front of the hotel still a bit cold, pool great.

Lovely stay at Kalos Hotel after reading the reviews I must say the stay we had was better than expected firstly the breakfast is not just continental but bacon, eggs and mini sausages too. Secondly they do have a pool of their own you do not need to walk next door to use theirs. When you check out however there is no option for a room extension for extra time this did not affect us as we were leaving at 13.30. The bar had shut by 23.00 one night but really that is more to do with guests not arriving by that date we stayed five nights and at the end of the stay the hotel was much busier. On the whole a lovely place to stay and only 15 walk to the centre where there are plenty of restaurants.

The environment and service was excellent 👌 The Pool was perfect 👍💯. The Breakfast was amazing and the people were very helpful. The Place gives so many options to visit other close Beaches ⛱️🏖️ and Super Market. Thank you so much.

We had the pleasure of staying 4 nights here. The customer service was exceptional. Special shout out to Massimo. No request of ours was to too much hassle. The staff are lovely people. The rooms were clean, functional and as described. The value for money is great. The shared balcony is a fantastic area to relax and enjoy the view of the ocean. The location was fantastic. We loved the included breakfast and coffee each morning, as well as the option to hire bikes to get around. The restaurant also offers a fabulous view of the Fondachello ocean and has phenomenal food, especially the pasta and bruschetta. When we return to Sicily we will be staying again.

The hospitality of the owners and the great friendliness of the staff, and the delicious food in the restaurant. During our stay, the train was on strike, so the hotel owner drove us to Taormina in his car. I recommend this property for the views, the food, and the kindness of the staff.

Attention was fantastic: very helpfull and kind staff. One morning we couldn't have breakfast because we were leaving early and they prepared a packed breakfast for us. Rooms were good and breakfast with really tasty products. There is also a restaurant, excellent fresh fish dishes! Huge parking available.

The hotel has an impressive location with a wonderful outside pool area and access to the sea via stairs falling directly into the sea (overseen by lifeguard). Rooms are a bit tired but perfectly functional considering the time you would spend in them (mini fridge and safe). Free parking and excellent free wifi. The outdoor pool and multiple sun deck areas flows into the multiple restaurants/bars making the most of the sea view. Easy walk into town if you want to try the local restaurants specialising in fresh fish. Reception were happy to let me continue to ise services post checkout and offered to extend my checkout time.

Das hoteleigene Restaurant machte einen sehr guten Eindruck. (leider nicht genutzt). Nächst gelegene Restaurants ca. 10 Minute zu Fuß entfernt. Check in und Check out kompetent und zügig. Waren früher da und konnten aber gleich an den Pool. Parken problemlos auf dem Hotelgelände.

The hotel is beautifully appointed with an infinity pool and landscaped grounds with a very well designed terrace. The entrance,common areas and restaurants are very good and food quality excellent. Unfortunately because of the size of hotel it is used for conferences/package tours from France and UK and weddings. If you enjoy people watching this is great, especially the weddings but it can get a little crowded at times and the terrace is dismantled for events. The 2 days the hotel did not have events were bliss and during the day it can be quiet if no conferences and weddings. I am sure this was high season for weddings-we had zero rainfall in a week and 3 weddings. This is an excellent location for touring to many spectacular east and south coast sites and climbing Etna. Just choose your season well. Also we asked for a room with 2 queen beds and were given twins. We still had a good time but it took the edge of it and reduced comfort levels.

Wir haben auf Grund einer sehr kurzfristigen Stornierung unseres eigentlichen Hotels eine Umbuchung auf dieses hier erhalten. Lage ist wirklich top, direkt am Meer und an der großen Promenade (Clubs, bars, Restaurants). Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse gut ( Brötchen, Croissant, Käse, Wurst Nutella Marmelade Kaffee und Müsli), es war immer sauber und die Klimaanlage ging super. Das Personal ist super nett. Alles in allem wirklich top allerdings haben wir auch nur ca die Hälfte von dem gezahlt was eigentlich zu zahlen ist, dann ist es wiederum etwas teuer.

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights in June 2025. The location is perfect, just across the beach and few minutes away from the bus stop. The beach was nice, water was wonderful. Umbrellas and sunbeds had extra charge. The staff was very nice, always friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was perfect, with delicious food and just enough for every taste. Our room was a little small, but spotless clean and with a fresh smell (no mold), housekeeping came every day, cleaned and supplied with towels and toiletries. The balcony was very nice overlooking the beach. A little noisy at night as there are some clubs nearby, but it's part of the charm. Great vacation overall, we plan to return to Sabbie d'Oro. Thank you!

A great hotel at a great price. Staff is English-speaking and as sweet and competent as we have found anywhere! Definitely eat every dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Perfect location; easy drive to Messina and Catania. Located right on the beach below Taoromina, in the shadow of Mount Etna. Also, an eay drive to Syracusa and Piazza Armerina. Will defintiely return on our next trip to Sicilia. From as price / value point of view, Sabbie D'Oro can't be beaten.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff at Reception - Alessandro, Pedro, and Clarissa - are very helpful. Clarissa especially was great in arranging a taxi to bring us to the airport at Catania; the airport bus was packed when it arrived at Recanati. Lots of restaurants closeby; the restaurant beside the hotel was excellent.

Everything in this hotel is perfect from the lobby where the friendly personnel will greet you and will make you feel like you're at home.(Stefania e Pietro) To the luxurious rooms with super-clean bathrooms and beds, i advise everyone to visit this place

My stay at Hotel Eliseo was fantastic. Pietro and his partner were very kind and accommodating, I felt very much at home. The hotel is very cosy and homely. I found the bed to be springy but comfortable. Shower was basic but nice and hot. Located on the main road so noise from traffic was to be expected and the occasional train passing by. Neither of these things troubled me, but worth a mention. Within walking distance to a very good deli and patisserie. 5-10 minute walk to the sea, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you are an hours’ walk up to Taormina (or a short bus ride away!). Pietro was very helpful and drew me a map to direct me there by foot :) Taormina is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited! Be sure to go and do check out the view from Belvedere di via Pirandello :) it will take your breath away. Pietro and his partner went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Grazie mille per la vostra gentilezza e arrivederci !

Everything was perfect. This place raises the bar when it comes to hospitality. The hotel gives what it promises and even more. The staff do their job on an exceptional level. The breakfast is nice and simple. It's the same everyday but it becomes addictive immediately (why change a perfect morning ritual?). All in all a great hotel for the price. The bathroom is equipped with all that you will need and the views are awesome from the terasses (we were at the top floor). The beds are nice and comfy, and you have enough space and enough furniture for your stay (though a mini-fridge would be nice to cool some drinks) Only thing is that the hotel is on a street with no sidewalks, but thats a fault of civil planning and not the hotel. When renting a room here one is in great, proffessional and caring hands.

Beautiful old style hotel with a flower garden and fruit trees (delicious lemons). The owners are friendly and gave us information about things to do in the surrounding area. The center and the beaches are not far away, only 10 minutes walk. The rooms were cleaned every day, nothing to complain about, I will definitely return. I forgot that there is a car park, but there is also a bus stop nearby to go to Taormina and Catania airport.

Everything was great and according to the pictures. The hotel is small, but clean and nice. We were warmly welcomed by the front desk, who gave us all the necessary tips for our stay. Rooms are big and have balconies with a small table and two chair where you can sit and enjoy the view. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. Highly recommended!

Struttura visitata per la prima volta, risale agli anni 80 e nonostante il tempo e' sempre affascinante sia per la vista che le camere. per essere un 4 stelle gli valgono tutte. ottima posizione di fonte al mare, vista mozzafiato su taormina e il porto, posizione strabiliante. personale eccellente ,gentile e accogliente. sin dal ns arrivo ci hanno messo a ns agio facendoci sentire a casa propria. ottime ed abbondanti colazioni sevite dal grande Fabrizio che con la sua loquacita' ed esperienza nel settore ci ha dato un paio di dritte sui ristoranti e locali dove degustare le prelibatezze locali. ci torneremo senz'altro appena possibile.

Ottima la sua posizione, abbiamo soggiornato in 2 per due notti, le camere necessitano di una ristrutturata ma quelle al Quinto piano con vista mare e terrazzo, offrono uno spettacolo impagabile... Aria condizionata , tv, frigo in camera perfettamente funzionanti... Bagno un po' piccolo con doccia... Colazione ricca e completa di dolce e salato... Personale numeroso e attento... Disponibilità, su prenotazione, di posteggio auto non custodito davanti l hotel... Ritornerò sicuramente in questa struttura
